Don’t like the latest update. One reason your game is good is because there is anonymity and no interaction with other players, except for quick voting on designs by anonymous people. This is nice so one can concentrate on create a nice design. What I don’t like in the update is how someone in your design group of 10, can see your recent past wins and failures. Why is this necessary? I’m pretty good at this game, but I had a bad streak of being in the bottom 2 in my last few challenges. It’s humiliating enough knowing your design is the worst but no one in my current design group would know that I failed previous challenges, but now they can. What if you’re a player who hasn’t mastered the game and is always in the bottom? People playing this are putting their best and most creative efforts into a design they hope will win, it’s tough to lose again and again and again and players can now see the history of said failures. On the flip side, who wants to see a player’s history of numerous wins when your struggling? Also, you’ve just made it easier to steal someone’s design idea and also avoid what designs failed. Just click on a name, find one of their recent wins and use the same materials. I won’t be doing this because I’m all about the design process, but I guarantee their will be people who will.

Free to play, but pay to win.. 90% seems to be locked unless you are willing to pay real money. And it seems like how much you spend decorating counts to your score and what rank you get, so people who are willing to spend real money always will have an advantage. Also don’t like that you get a statement with what the client is looking for but people will win even if they ignore it. (I.e- “I want a colourful screensaver” but all top 5 might have a black and white photo that is just worth more.) think the cash material is fairly well priced, but gold and the star coins are hard to earn. Overall, I do enjoy aspects of it. I also wish it was clearer how the ratings work. You get a rating from 1-5 star, but your aren’t voting for others that way. You are choosing between two. So how is the star rating being calculated? Are the two paired together always paired together? In which case one that is okay paired against one that is bad, might win over a good one paired with an equally good one. I also wish there were more challenges. Alternatively, just adding a section where you can use everything and nothing is locked as like a gallery option/portfolio. It’s not a competition and there are no prizes, but other people can view and like things on the page. And it’s something to do while waiting for a new competition to start and you can really see what is available.

Lots of fun. I really enjoy this game! The prompts are always interesting and while I agree that more challenges a day would be great, I also understand it probably takes a lot of time to put those together. Also, all that between time allows me to do more voting and get more “money” so that I can actually “buy” items when I do decorate. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is the rating system. At the beginning of each challenge there’s a mini prompt where you’re told what the “buyer” wants....but I’ve found people can win first place even if they’ve completely disregarded the prompts. I get it might be more of a guideline, but all games grow boring eventually if there aren’t rules that are followed. Trying to create the best room off those prompts is the real challenge, yet it ends up not mattering. I think an easy fix to this would just be a quick reminder of what the prompt was to people before they vote. Like just a quick pop up that refreshes “they wanted a gothic room with wood flooring etc etc”. Everyone’s tastes are different so the voting will still be fair and up in the air, BUT there’s a clear perimeter voters are being asked to take into account. It gets frustrating seeing rooms that didn’t follow the prompt even a little bit beating out ones that clearly did, even when it’s not mine.

Great Game...Results Take Too Long Though.. I’m obsessed with this game! It’s a stress reliever. I do agree with someone who said results take too long. A full day is too long to wait. As far as the voting, you win some and you lose some. And that is okay. Beauty is subjective. You can’t help that. No one should feel entitled to a top ranking. With color, you have to be careful. Pops of color are nice but don’t make it look like a rainbow exploded on your design. Think about your home. Do you really have red walls and orange countertops? You should follow the prompt and try to stand out, of course, but within reason. Two main colors with an accent color always works. If you want to go crazy, try going crazy with texture but not colors that don’t complement each other. I am by no means an interior designer expert but I have seen some tacky designs that had no sense of direction. Anyway...maybe to make people feel better about the voting...there should be more one-on-one duels. Or maybe it all should just change to one-on-one duels because they only take 2 hours to calculate. This solves both the “results take too long” issue and people questioning how votes are tallied in. Nonetheless, I do think that we should only be competing with and voting for people within one exclusive group. Other than that, people like what they like. *shrugs* Also...yes apps cost money. How do you think these people pay their bills? 🤔😂😂😂

Not too happy. As much as I enjoy this game, it's an annoyance to have items available for use in one season or even in some challenges, then they are locked in the next season or challenge and now you have to use star coins to open up an item that was already available to you. It takes away from one's creativity when they know they had items available to them but then they are not. It also makes no sense to be on level 9 and items with level 7 next to it are locked to you. What's the sense of leveling up and you are locked out of items for use from lower levels. I understand, to some degree, being locked out of items that are at a higher level. I say to some degree because prior to a recent change in the coin and leveling up process, a lot of items that I physical paid REAL money for, was no longer available for my use. I took that loss but I'm leveling up to have MORE items available to me for use, not to be locked out of items and having to use tokens to use any item from the level I'm on or any lower level that I worked hard on challenges to win and move up. You should rewarding your users NOT punishing them for moving up, paying money for the season passes and star coin purchases. There should also be other ways to be rewarded star coins, items cost so much to unlock more items for use.

Best Interior Design Game On The Market, but Could Use Some Adjustments. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this game. The design portion is very realistic, there are so many options to choose from, and you don’t have to go through a bunch of mini games or a ton of ads to play the game. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. It is seriously the best interior design gaming app on the market. However, I would like to suggest some adjustments to the game. One being that it would be nice to be able to do multiple redesigns, maybe 3-5 instead of just one. Maybe even with a choice not to have them judged by the other players? Like just redesigns for fun. And secondly, I get that there has to be some time restraints on the challenges, however I have missed several by just an hour. It’d be nice to be able to access all challenges that were given within 24 hours. I understand they take time to create, and having a background in 3D design myself I know that applying all the different possible textiles and shadings and fixing any bugs is very time consuming, however I feel like the room designs would feel more worth their making if they were available to design for a longer period of time. Overall, this app is great and I don’t see myself quitting or deleting the app any time soon. It’s really amazing.

Decor Delight. I definitely enjoy this app immensely. I am not in anyway inclined to be a great decorator but there was some thing about it that attracted me to want to try. My first entry I won first place. Hooked! I am now on there every day whether it is to vote for other peoples designs or to create some of my own. I love the game and I love decorating which I didn’t know I did until I started playing. So far I’ve entered I think nine and placed in the top 10 every single time. The only thing I don’t like is that much of the decoration is in a purchased only. I’m not looking to spend money. They give you so much cash that you basically are pretty good for quite a while plus you earn money for decorating, winning, and just for signing up for the game. What upsets me I guess is that I can’t use 75% of the items that I would like to use becauseI have to unlock it with these star coins they give you. If I can only earn three stars per day or even per entry, how am I supposed to have enough to buy a set of pillows or a set of pretty carpets? Because these things take 2000*coins and I got about 27. I still think it’s worth playing but I’m not gonna spend a dime on the game. I just refuse. If I earn some thing from within the game that allows me to in app purchase, I will absolutely purchase but I’m not spending my money out of my bank account or on a credit card for a game. Not doing it. The game is great though so I would suggest trying it...it’s a lot of fun.

Love this app!! But.... I don’t remember how I came across this app.. but I’m glad I did! I am by no means an “interior designer”, actually far from- but it’s still fun!! It’s actually quite addicting from my experience. I play everyday because it’s exciting. I’m so invested in seeing what people rate my designs after I submit them. I do wish they had more challenges. I know you can get more with the season pass but I’m certainly not spending money on a game... just a personal thing. If I had any constructive criticism is for them it would be to add more challenges for the people who are addicted- lol. Also, I’m on level 60 (I think) and I still don’t have most decor items unlocked which is annoying. I understand it keeps people playing so that they can unlock it but it takes so long!! I’ve been playing steady for a couple months and still haven’t unlocked them- I’d just like more options! Also, I wish there were other ways to earn coins so I can unlock packages rather than buying them. It takes such a long time to get enough to get a package. I do redesigns on each challenge & it still takes forever. But I suppose people who are pros and win first place can gain access to anything on the game haha. Although, I’ve seen a lot of really good designs get last place & some really poor designs get first. I guess that’s a downside of having a wide selection of people voting on a design!

Fun Game but Costly. I love decorating and this can be a fun experience but it is so costly to actually be able to use the decor items you want. I understand that the whole point for the developers in allowing you to download it free is for them to make money on you buying tokens, gold coins and trading it for cash. The problem is first you have to spend tokens to unlock decorating mediums but then also have to spend gold coins and cash to buy a certain number of uses. The amount you can earn by placing or winning a design versus how much is required to unlock an item is so great that you have no choice but to spend quite a bit of money or submit an inferior design. I’ve spent more in a week than I ever would playing a game and I’m still frustrated that I really can’t go any further without buying more tokens which is something that I’m not going to do. If I had full reign without spending 100 dollars plus this would be a blast but the way it is set up is too costly for me to use it to it’s full potential. Other than that it would definitely get 5 stars from me. Until I ran out of tokens I had a lot of fun with the challenges and using the different colors, textiles and mediums. A note to the developers… you should consider that once a player unlocks and buys a medium they should have that item permanently in their inventory instead of having to continue to buy uses of the same item.

Needs better criteria for judging designs!. I really enjoy this app and the design options are beautiful and realistic. I feel like the in app purchases are a problem, but that’s on me. My biggest issue is with the judging. I don’t exactly know how the system works. I have voted for many challenges. It seems like people are voting based on what they find aesthetically pleasing, not what the challenge is based on. For example there’s a messy looking bedroom for an older couple that wants it to be “Art Deco “ I tried my best and even purchased Art Deco fabric and absolutely failed. The designs that had higher scores did not follow the challenge at all. What’s the point!? I found this particular challenge most upsetting because it was so hard to design a classic, chic and Art Deco bedroom when it was just a messy, lumpy bed. And then to try my best and lose to someone who barely did anything. This brings me to my next point. So many of my designs are tasteful and appropriate for the particular challenges. Why are people doing so well with tacky designs that seem like they didn’t even read the rooms design wishes!? I’m sorry for going on and on but I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money because I really like this app but I’m afraid I’ll have to delete it soon. I just wish there were better criteria for judging designs!

All good things must come to an end... I’ll start with this game is well made and very good…or was. It went from being so enjoyable I wanted to spend money on fun materials when playing to so negative I won’t give another login or dime if it doesn’t change soon. Rewards have become penalties, relaxing enjoyable design challenges have become stressful and even insulting. When your own game’s Facebook page is full of thousands of people upset and complaining, pay attention. The ranking is clearly unfair and obviously based now on money spent, meanwhile the graphics of designs are only getting more sloppy and/or recycled. I used to regularly rank highly and the majority of my recent designs have been in last place - and that’s with garbage designs ranking higher. I’m a designer for crying out loud, lol. But my duels mostly win, which seems like the only real user voted designs now. You have to spend so many more coins to design a room now you can’t even get through 2 or 3 of them without spending real dollars, and when consistently being ranked low you don’t earn enough back to keep playing for long. See the correlation? And you LOSE status (level down) if you don’t spend or play enough? Ew. There aren’t many, hardly any, design games out there that are halfway decent, it would be nice to not lose the one good one to gross money grabs. You actually feel stress when playing this now. Like we don’t have enough of that in the real world.

Fun Game with Some Issues. I’ve been playing this game for a while. The quality is overall good of the scenes, sometimes the material application is odd, probably a result of the render lighting setup. Also, sometimes there are so many pop ups that it starts to feel a bit spammy. The special events have gotten better, but they are still convoluted and underwhelming for the most part. Also, I wish there was a better way to sort through items while designing, it takes so long to scroll through everything while designing that I just lose interest. I prefer the “top notch” challenges as it’s more focused and a fun challenge. The global rankings also feels very disconnected and irrelevant. My biggest issue with this game is how difficult it is to unlock new materials. Obviously they want to make a profit and have people buy the tokens instead of waiting a while to accumulate enough to buy only 3 random new items from a category. this wouldn’t feel so greedy if when you won new items by getting first place, you actually got all new items as opposed to maybe 1 new, if that. It is super frustrating! The incentive for spending time designing a room in hopes that it wins isn’t very high. You’re better off randomly picking items and just designing and redesigning as often as possible with minimal consideration as you will win more money just for designing as well as you will be able to unlock more of the monthly items. And often you won’t even come in last place.

A DECORATORS DELIGHT. But the 4 star is for the voting. While I play for the fun and can hope I earn votes for my designs, I am finding it harder and harder to vote because so few have creative design and always at the top are the boring black, gray, whites...I.E.-A play center for kindergarten kids and the winner was black and gray. UGH. What child opens a door to that color room and feels stimulated??? And a traditional kitchen for Grandma-top winner-purple, black and gray. Um, that’s traditional for Grandma??? 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ And a recent challenge-Decorate a cool and unique room for a man from Spain, covered in Tattoos-The lead design-Black, white, Second lead-Pink, Teal and Cotton Candy walls...🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 UPDATE to 5 stars because this app is the BEST for fun and creativity! And the voting will just be what it is, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Have fun, imagine and then design!!! Love the daily challenges and the duels!! Interesting to see what others create and so much can be learned for real life design!! It would be fun to have a free play where there are a few different scenarios each week to practice and play around with without submitting for voting, that would help pass the time between challenges and give ample opportunity to hone the skill of design. Otherwise, bring on more daily challenges and duels, I can handle them!!! 😊🥰😊

Used to be good. If people would wait 6 months to do a review, that 4.8 overall rating would take a nose dive. I’ve been playing Redecor since its inception. It was a great game when it first came out, but now it’s just recycled rooms. I’ve been decorating for years and know what a great design is. I don’t even vote any more because the rooms that are cycled through my voting look like they’ve been done by a 2 year old. I literally never see a beautiful design and I know they’re out there. The owners need to figure out if they’re going to cater to kids and non-spenders, or those that buy up to create beautiful, cohesive designs. Many don’t follow the brief and I’m fine with that, but it should at least be a design that’s aesthetically pleasing. I’m not about to invest more money when the algorithms are set to allow everyone to win, no matter how hideous their design is. If two bad designs are paired up during voting, one is clearly going to come in first. If they’re in your group, it can shoot some of the best designs straight to the bottom. I’ve seen many 5 star designs that are simply laughable. Nothing more frustrating than creating a beautiful, cohesive design, only to have it come in in 10th place to an orange and pink room. Now I’m at the point I just pick out rooms I haven’t done and use the inventory I have, just to kill time. I’d like a little return on my investment and that’s clearly not happening.

Im in love! but suggestions for the future!. I am absolutely in loveee with this game! I actually like the aspect of having to unlock more items. I think the rate you earn gold and cash is pretty good i havent run out of that yet. there are definitely still as few things they need to fix and make better. I think the top 3 spots should get a box of prizes not just first place. Like first place would get the most amount of prizes, i would make it 12-15 items, then second could get 8-10, and then third would get like 4-6. I think the daily claim should include 500 cash and then like 500 gold as well. Although I think that the star token aspect is good I definitely think you should be able to earn more and quicker. I would make it so you earn like 5 star tokens for entering designs and then as rewards for whatever place you get like if you got 10th you should get 4, 9th 5, 8th 6, 7th 7, 6th 8, 5th 9, 4th 10, 5th 11, 4th 12, 3, 13 plus the prize package as described above, and same for 1st and 2nd place. I truly do loveee this game and im reallllly excited to see it keep growing and improving. I have had this game for like 2-3 weeks now I think and Im on level 23 have entered 103 designs and I have 15 wins. I have played alot of different home design games like Design Home. I think this one, with some more updates and improvements will become better than Design Home!

Not as great as it used to be. The game is fun and addictive but in the last month it’s gone downhill fast. The challenges have become less fun because the developers now give limited selections to use when designing a room, and often the available selections don’t work well together. The cost of items has also risen considerably, and the number of items you must purchase with gold have increased. One of my biggest complaints is now when using coins to “unlock” 3 new items, only 1-2 items are unlocked and the remaining are duplicates of something I already own and can buy with cash or gold. The problem here is when I’ve used my own (real) money to buy coins in order to “unlock” new items. Because of this I’ve stopped purchasing coins. Finally, there was a recent update which really messed things up. The developers claim to have fixed it with a subsequent update but I’ve noticed little change. The graphics are horrible and players now have to constantly scroll endlessly to find items to use. There’s an option to look only through owned items but numerous times now I’ve found an item I own (and have 1+ uses remaining) in the “all items” category but not the “owned category”. Because of all the recent issues, I’ve begun to lose interest in the game. I’m currently still playing but no longer using my own money other than for the monthly pass, which I’m not sure I’ll do again after this month. I really hope the developers make drastic improvements soon!

Fun but needs a lot of improvement. This game is fun, but I have some complaints; thus the 3 stars: 1) Gold tokens - you only get about 3-5 gold tokens for finishing a design, but it takes only at least 100 minimum to unlock 3 items. That means it takes a long time….too long. Should be able to get more gold tokens for the top 3 winners. 2) Unlocking items - It takes so much tokens to unlock items that I should be able to unlock the items that I want instead of just randomly unlocking something I don’t want. And then once I unlock them, it should be available. Why do I now have to buy them with money after it’s unlocked? I don’t spend money on this game, but I can imagine how frustrating it would be for others who do spend money on this game. They paying real money for items they don’t want or need. Please allow players who unlock the items they want. 3) Items Purchased - Why do I have to keep repurchasing items that I already own? I should be able to use those items any time since I already own them. This is the most frustrating part of the game. 4) The top 3 winners should get a bonus box as well, not just the #1 winner. Make it so that the #1 winner gets more items, and the 2nd gets less and the third gets less than that. But they all get some bonus items. If improvements can be made in these issues, this would be an awesome 5-star game.

Best decorating game ever!:). Love this & really enjoy it in my downtime. I love all the updates and the designer statuses really make it more fun as you’re trying to make it to the next level or secure the level you’re at before the game resets and you’re knocked back down to the level prior. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is the changes that were made to the voting. Before you were rewarded coins no matter how many times you voted even if after a certain number you were rewarded less, you were still rewarded coins and so you were able to continue redesigning even if it took you a little longer to earn the amount of coins you may need for specific items and requirements. Now you can only earn after so many votes then when you have reached the limit you can still vote but you are unable to earn anything at all which can bring a game to a halt (which may be for the best for some so you’re not spending too much time on your device), however even if it’s only a small percentage it would be great if you could bring that back… being able to continue to earn. Other than that no complaints here! I never write reviews btw which says a lot about how much I love this game. Love the designs are so realistic looking instead of other design games that look cartoonish. I could go on about all the fun stuff I love about Redecor but this is now cutting into my game time and my “free time” is almost up🙃

Underwhelming and Disappointing. I ended up deleting the app. It’s impossible to play this and have fun without spending money. My main two complaints with this game are: 1) the limited options available are usually bad/tacky. ie) The “client“ says they want geometric pillows and the rest of the Decor in the room revolves around this request. The three patterns you will have to choose from are often terrible. Any other aspects of the room such as wallpaper that could possibly look halfway decent with these pillows which are atrocities are “locked“. Guess what, you basically have to spend money to unlock all the things that look nice. 2) The people who are voting on your room compared to other peoples rooms either have horrible taste or no clue about what specific decorative styles are supposed to be like. ie) I participated in a challenge which was supposed to be decorating a shabby chic bedroom. Rooms are ranked from 1st to 10th Place. The first top five rooms all had a bunch of black decorative items in the room. Nowhere in shabby chic Decor does the color black fit in. Another challenge was to decorate a reading nook in a vintage style. One of the top three winners had a giant mural wall covered in text that said “rules are made to be broken”....😒😒😒 NOT. Vintage. Sooo basically the game is ridiculous ands waste of time with dentist office/Home Goods art along with a large amount of other terrible decorative choices

It used to be great, now it’s just okay. The game was undeniably better before the new developers took over. Why they felt the need to make changes to a game that was very enjoyable to play, making it about money, if you don’t spend money it’s now very limited. Then they changed it again, trying to fool people into thinking they were getting more, but were actually getting even less than after their initial changes. They continue to use stale content so I quit buying their season passes because I was paying to play, over and over, the same content I already paid to play. It’s a good game but it’s not as fun as it used to be when I could play for hours. Many players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the changes but it has been ignored. Customer Support is virtually nonexistent in my experience. They boast of these content creators and graphics artists but there’s rarely any new content and when there is, it’s of poor quality…like I can Photoshop better. However, if you’ve never played the old developers version, you probably won’t be disappointed but will still possibly get discouraged if you aren’t willing to spend real money. Since they’ve taken away the ability to earn points by voting, when you run low it’s either pay or halt play until you’re able to vote again. That’s what upsets me the most and the reason I only gave 3 stars. Prior to the buyout I would have given 5 stars.

Things To Consider. Redecor should consider not maintaining multiple items under same color option for design —- it takes away from the artistry. There should also be more and extremely difficult designs showcasing other scenery for a fuller perspective. Another thing to consider is removing the ‘up close and personal’ designs as they are boring and lack-luster. More difficult, daring and fuller perspective designs with more OUTDOOR designs covering a broader area (without forced color/item scheme) would be a bonus. It also should be stated, just because a designer follows the instructions does not mean that the design is cohesive. A response as “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is not satisfactory when the “artistry” isn’t being judged by materials, complication and cohesion. The votes should also consider the complication of the design and its cohesiveness, the materials and their “expense value”. A basic followed design should not win over a design that is cohesive with luxurious materials that might have lacked in one area of the design, such as by using not-requested color choice. In the real world of design, complication, quality and cohesion is usually more appealing to the investor than the just basic design. In some cases, a luxurious and cohesive design is easier for an investor to become accustomed to over a basic design that the investor might have originally requested, depending on the purpose.

Would have have rated it higher but.... I don’t know what they did, but recently the ranking is all messed up and I think the developers want it this way. It’s awful. Instead of knowing definitively where you stand in a decorating event, the player has no idea if their current place is what is shown. In seasons past, a player knew that if it showed you were in 10th place, you were in 10th. Now if the game shows you are in 10th, for example, you may be in 10th, or 1st, or anywhere in between. You will only find out when the event is over. Rigged? Maybe. Dumb? Absolutely. Why they changed the system is beyond me. Even if the voting was rigged before the change, it still felt like it was honest. Why is it a problem? Nicer items are bought with gold, which is obtained by coming in 1-3. You are given the option to redesign the room before the event is over, if you feel you can design a better room. More than likely you would decline redesigning a room if you saw you were ranking 1-3. However now you have to guess. Am I really ranked what it shows? It’s dumb. No where else will you find a game, video or in reality, where the ranking you see reflected is not factual. The developers made a fun competitive game into a dishonest, yet fun game, which still is highly dependent on items bought with gold. To the developers: Fix the rating process, put it back to real time rankings. Otherwise see your Redecor game ranking fall in real time.

Bug takes away prizes. I’ve contacted support about this once already and been completely unsatisfied with the response. The bug is still there. I’ve had other designs disappear when it comes time to receive my rewards, and it’s becoming way more than annoying. Today, I’m actually getting close to being infuriated. Today, one of my “original” (not a redesign) designs disappeared. When I opened the app, it told me that the voting for “Lakeside Treasure” was complete, and I was excited, because my first design was ahead in the voting when I checked an hour or so ago. My heart sank when I saw that - AGAIN - only one of my designs was showing in the “completed” tab, and it was my redesign, which performed poorly. I clicked over to look at my profile, as you suggested, and it shows the design - which did in fact, come in first. However, since I didn’t get to actually OPEN the winning design, I did not receive the XP, the gold, the star tokens, or the “big box of decor items.” THIS IS NOT OK. That XP, in-game currency and the decor item unlocks are what keep the game going. I’m a fairly new player, but I have (unusually for me) already spent $15 in real money on playing this game. I had intended on spending more, asking my husband for money to spend on Redecor as part of my Christmas gift. If you all do not fix this bug and give me the in-game rewards I have earned, I will not be spending any more money with your company, as it would just be throwing good money after bad.

Realistic Decor but Pricey. QUICK UPDATE: The design choices don’t make any sense!!! They choose modern decor for older couples and ornate pieces for young students- it’s so frustrating!!! One design challenge is about Moroccan decor and the only wall color choices you get are white??? I’ve never seen white walls in Moroccan design! I don’t know whose in charge of picking the decor but they need to be replaced! The pictures of the rooms are very realistic but require quite a few items to be decorated which brings me to my gripe. Like pretty much every app these days, the currency you need to buy the best items with is hard to earn and expensive to buy. In this app, you get 3 kinds of currency, CASH, GOLD and STAR POINTS. You can use all three to buy decor items BUT (yes there’s always a but) the STAR POINTS buy the most and are very difficult to earn. You get star points by entering challenges and get 1 star point for your score (example: if you get a 4.0 you get 4 star points). Unfortunately, this adds up very slowly. Many of the “unlocked” or available items require star points to buy them and you can’t exchange cash or gold for star points. The game gives free gold every 5 hours but doesn’t seem to give any free star points. Anyway, it’s a great game for budding interior decorators but you may become frustrated if you find the perfect tiles and discover that you can’t afford them!

Creative freedom. I love this game. I play it every single day. It’s a lot of fun designed seeing other people’s take on a room. I have no issue with the amount of time it takes for the votes to come in. I also don’t mine spending money to get certain items because it’s only one of a few things I decide to spend money on, but that’s just me. I only gave it 4 stars because of the voting. I’m not sure how it can be fixed, though. I’ve read other comments on here and seen the developers response of “creative freedom” and that’s why they give prompts for certain materials to be used. (I actually like that feature!) It’s just that even though the game might ask you to use a certain type of wall color or type of bedspread, it doesn’t mean the player is going to make anything match! I’ve seen some of the ugliest rooms win, or rooms that are almost just completely white! How is this possible? I’m talking rooms with purple, neon orange and red win over something that actually matches, or a room that’s white on white on beige win over beautifully done rooms that someone took time on. I’m so sick of seeing an all white room win. I always try to follow the prompt, but it doesn’t matter. People are just going to do whatever they want and vote however they want. That’s why I said, I’m not sure this voting issue can even be fixed. So, the game really is a lot of fun. I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that I’m only playing for myself and not to actually compete.

Best interior decorating app. This is one of the few apps I’ve willingly paid for in app purchases because I enjoy it so much I wanted to give back to the developers! It’s superior to other design apps of its kind because you’re collecting materials and colors for your designs rather than furniture and other elements. Other games I’ve played could be frustrating because I wouldn’t have enough furniture in the right style to complete the challenge. Redecor is different because you’re presented with a predesigned interior that you then decorate with different materials and art to reflect your interior design philosophy and the requirements of the challenge. I love seeing the creativity of the other players and getting to vote on their designs. I feel the game is generous with rewards and tokens/cash to buy materials to decorate with, so I can play for hours if I wanted to. It’s because of that generosity that I feel compelled to purchase the season pass, because it’s fun to try new materials and art, and I appreciate the user focused development of the app. The designers are doing a great job of making a fun and satisfying game in a genre rife with greedy brand deals and pay to play philosophies, and I so appreciate that! Thanks for making such a fun and relaxing game!

Pros and Cons. This game is super addictive! I enjoy it a lot. The challenges are fun and allow you to really put your own unique spin on things, and play with creativity. However, some of the content (fabrics, finishes, etc.) are easier and less expensive to access, and others (generally, the cooler ones 😝) are more expensive and more difficult to access. You can save up your resources and access things little by little bit, but by the time you are able to, it feels like it wasn’t worth it. It seems as though this is to encourage you to make in-app purchases of resources to access the items sooner. I’m not opposed to doing that if I really enjoy a game, but the value in this case doesn’t seem great for what you get when making a purchase, so I haven’t yet. I wish they would either increase the value of the purchases you make in-app, or slightly decrease the barrier to obtaining the items in-game. Edited 7/2/21: still playing, so that says a lot…! I’ve been making in-app purchases cause I’m a fan and don’t mind spending money on something I enjoy, but this game gets progressively put behind more and more pay walls which is starting to annoy me. The designs are costing more and more resources to make (I just passed on one that requires 16 items), and the season rewards only give you 5 items now instead of 10. Sad to see them getting more and more stingy. As a loyal customer, I’m starting to feel turned off by this. 🙄

Amazing! ✨🍑🌿. Hi there! If you are clicked this game and want to know more about it, you’re reading on the right place! Redecor is an awesome game and I can’t argue that it’s not. It’s so much fun voting and coming up with new designs. This game lets me be very creative, and can even cheer me up on a gloomy day. First off, lots of people come up with unique, colorful ideas. They express themselves so that they can one, teach other people how they like to style things + how they pair colors, and two, get better at designing and stop being afraid to show what they really like. To me, this is like a REALLY GOOD type of social media, without the social part! (That’s what I like! 🌱✨) Next, redecor has many different color options, textures, etc. I think that this is wonderful because you can actually see what some textures and colors look like. This allows you to come up with new ideas and let your imagination run wild 🌸! I showed this to my sister and she said that she wants the game too because of this! Both of us are really into this game! Lastly, this game can let people think about what they want in their ACTUAL HOUSE + what they want in SOMEONE ELSES house if they’re home designing. It’s really a great app for these people because it helps them make money 💴! Anyway, thank you for reading my review. I hope it convinces you to get this game! After all, it is free :). Bye!!

Amazing Game!. Love this game; it requires a bit of planning to save your decorating dollars and gold, but it can be done! I bought a season pass and one round of tokens - it just has to be spent wisely! I only unlock new items in the Surface/Metal/Stone categories normally because those have the most impact visually. If a challenge requires say, checkered fabric only, and there’s only 3 options, I choose one and make sure my complementary finishes are unique enough to stand out from all the others who undoubtedly chose my fabric, also. It requires patience to save the money, just like real life! Some of the users on here complaining about length of time to earn money/gold and want everything to be quick and easy are not true players. One should also definitely take advantage of the voting; you can earn around $10-12k in design cash per 24 hours. It adds up! Every item has 5 uses when you buy it, so that checkered fabric you bought for a living area could also be used on a patio or kitchen chairs! Just be big picture about what you buy. That random red velvet is much harder to use across a range of challenges and will tie up money, potentially! One improvement could be more decor boxes for 2nd and 3rd place, and maybe slightly increase the gold winnings, maybe $1.5k, then $1.0k, then $500. It’s really a fantastic game and visuals are superb!

$$$. This game used to be pretty fun. It isn’t anymore. I stopped playing for awhile because of life getting busy, and when it started to chill again I thought about this game again, and just started playing again. It isn’t the same, and it’s way worse. The daily rewards and rewards for getting top 3 on designs give you way less than they used to, but somehow everything now costs more than it used to. You have to submit SO MANY designs to get to Ann desirable “status” (which is a whole mess on it’s own, half the materials I used to be able to use no problem are now locked behind a wall of progress, which would be fine if it was actually possible to get there without spending actual money due to the lack of in game resources you get), and then the “status” system is ridiculously bugged so when you get to the status you want to be at, chances are you haven’t actually unlocked the material you were supposed to unlock and the customer service is basically nonexistent so you’ll never get any help trying to correct these bugs. The cherry on top of this absolute mess of a game is the staggering lack of new content, there is just none of it. I’ve played this game on and off since 2020, and every single design template they have is recycled. There’s nothing new, and to even continue to design the exact same rooms I used to design for maybe a quarter of what I used to get out of it, I have to spend money now. RIP this game.

Great app, crashes frequently. I’ve been playing for years, and this app used to be amazing. However, recently it’s become less and less enjoyable. First of all, it crashes frequently, and I have to reopen the app a few times just to complete a single design. There’s also the voting issue- people who have terrible designs constantly win, probably as a result of people taping through the voting feature as quickly as possible to earn cash. There’s this new “designer status” thing as well- when I opened the app one day, half of my favorite items were gone, and I had to level up by wins to earn them back! It’s very difficult to level up, too, because they ask for so many wins. I also don’t like how this app tries to force political views on us, constantly featuring same-sex couples and loudly publicizing pride month and transgender day. I realize I may be in the minority for that opinion, but I can’t pretend it doesn’t bother me. Whenever I open the app, I have to close at least five pop-ups trying to get me to buy something from the shop. The app has definitely become money-hungry recently, and constantly tried to get you to buy things. The reason I still rate this app as four stars is because of the amazing graphics and overall concept. It’s definitely the most enjoyable design game I could find, despite all these issues.

Loved at first, then stopped being fun. I loved this game at first, but eventually is stopped being fun. It started becoming overwhelming to have to choose so many different things in one single design. The most frustrating part is that many times there are things in the design that you have to choose which barely make a difference in the end result no matter what material you choose. I understand they need to make money so they want us to spend our coins on materials, but it just made me stop playing all together because there are too many requirements for every design. It is more enjoyable if there is more freedom in materials that I can choose, and if there aren’t 10+ different choices to make for every design. I tried to look for designs which required less choices (less requirements/dots), but it got frustrating. Some people enjoy making that many choices but for me it was just too overwhelming and not enjoyable. I wish there were more designs with fewer requirements because I play to relax and have fun and I don’t want to feel stressed out about having to choose the color of a tiny piece of a table that you can’t even see, or a teeny tiny piece of trim on a knob that is barely visible. Some of the designs have wall art that is weirdly out of scale for the room, or awfully off-centered and iit triggers my OCD. If the game developers would take these things into consideration I might play again, but for now it’s just frustrating for me.

Addicting game, but rigged. I love this interior design app, also very addicting. I’ve been playing this game since the end of summer ‘22 and the app has gone through some good and bad changes. The newest update to the app is definitely rigged. I had some thoughts it was before, but now I am confident it is. For example, every so often the app has challenges like win 6 duel challenges and receive X amount of coins. I had submitted 6, but was losing one of them- they were all still in voting status. So I decided to try to one more to see if I could win the 6th. Sure enough, as soon as I submitted the 7th duel, the app gave me my X amount before voting ended. That’s one example. It is beyond me, some of the ugliest designs win. Also, with the new update, the app makes it easier to climb the ladder on the design status. Before, when it was having to only 1st place in one design level, I would ALWAYS win 2nd. Now that you can level up by winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, I always in 4th place-given some of the ugliest win. One more example is the duel challenge again. I would be winning all the way up to about 30 mins to the end, and it flips suddenly where opponent is now winning by a big difference- opponent 80%, me 20%. Again, this person would have some of the most bizarre designs with pink walls, blue wood items, green baseboards, and yellow upholstery- I mean how is that design getting 80?! The game has more obvious rigging with each update.

Great but some problems 😝🤪🍱🎨. This app is so fun I love to design. But this game needs to let you not have to buy every single thing. But this game is so great literally it has no ads. But what I don’t like is that it doesn’t give you enough star coins so you can’t get stuff what I want is just maybe like the money could actually like pay for designs but not real money. Because I have a lot of that from the game but there’s no way that you can like earn the coins it’s hard like if you don’t have stuff in the game then you can’t play at all because it won’t let you submit it without doing all of the dots. What I wish is if you could just make the game with more coins and an easier way to earn coins without doing it if you can’t because you can’t do any of the stars or squares because now I can’t play and if there is a way to earn coins that’s not playing a level then can the developer tell me what it is I just got this game on Monday so maybe there is a way and I just don’t know. So I’d recommend downloading this game if you use your coins wisely don’t just buy a bunch of random stuff and not use them all but I would also like is if they made this game like she bought this she doesn’t want it we can let her unbuy it and give her more coins. So overall this game is good I recommend getting it if you use your coins wisely. If you like designing this is a good game. Even though I never win the voting stuff. Overall this game is good.

Best interior design game, even better after the update. I’ve already written a review for this game before and I’ve been spending a lot less time with everything going on, but with the new update it’s made the game so much easier. It took forever to accumulate gold and most of the better materials required a lot of it. But with there being only one currency it has definitely made things easier and less stressful. Here is one thing that still needs help: voting. I read a review saying that a player should be able to review all 10 designs in a set and rank them from best to worst because a lot of the time the voting system isn’t very fair, especially when you thought you would have ranked much higher than what your design ranked. It will also reduce the amount of people that spam vote just for the cash. There should be a set of 5 of these to reap a much bigger currency reward. It would make the spammer realize that it isn’t worth it to spam anymore because of how much longer it would take. If you were to rearrange 5 design sets, this would be 50 designs in total and should fetch 10,000 coins imo. One other thing that needs to be fixed is the Star tokens. It takes WAY too long to accumulate star tokens and then when you’re ready to FINALLY unlock stuff, it’s ONLY 3 items! It should be lowered to 50 star tokens to 100 star tokens for the most elite materials.

Voting makes no sense. I love this game is really fun and I’ve played everyday since I downloaded it. I don’t mind paying for things in a game so I’ve bought some stars and gold. If you want some of the nicer items you will end up buying stars, and some of the challenges have a group of items that are all locked. But I have gotten a 1st with only the free unlocks. The game really is worth paying for, it is so well designed and way better than the other decor games, and they seem to add new items pretty regularly. The seasons are fun so you can win special items. Voting is fun to see all the other designers. I’m giving it 4 stars though because of the voting it is really unclear. The ranks on the challenges must have some other factors and I don’t think the voting is against the group you are in which is confusing. If it has something to do with the colors on the items it would be great to explain what the colors even mean, it isn’t one faq. They don’t go in the order of the unlocks, so maybe it just puts you in another level of voting. The designs in my groups have gotten better over time which is fun. But some of the wins have garish designs, I guess the voters just make weird choices, how can you vote up a design for an outside deck with carpet? I think the voters just rush through the voting for the reward without considering all the factors. I really just want to know what the item colors mean it should be in the faq.

Love this game but..... I really do enjoy this game and this is my second season. I purchase the pass but this game gets quite expensive when you have to constantly buy tokens and gold to get materials that you want. The money that you get for voting and daily tasks becomes practically worthless after so much is accumulated. There needs to be more ways to earn gold and tokens. Also I am at level 41 and the only bonus given after 30 is money. What a bummer. It should be gold, tokens, or materials. Also when one purchases the season pass it should include unlocks and materials. If a client picks materials they all should be unlocked. Sometimes there is nothing to work with that matches. I don’t mind spending for a season pass and some materials, but when I becomes too expensive it is no longer fun. Also when people do their designs and vote I wish they would consider what the client asks for. I doubt any man would want a bright pink bathroom. When it is for a young person that requests bright and trendy I see designs that my grandmother would like. I have seen a kitchen with bright green cabinets, blue refrigerator and orange dishes get a high vote. Today I had a design that wasn’t ranking that well and decided to redesign. I repeated the same design that the first place was winning with. Her’s got a 1st place with 4.84 and mine got an 8th place at 4.26. It was exactly the same design.

Enjoyable game, but there’s one issue I have.. I’ve been playing this game for a few days now, and I’m really enjoying it. It’s a great game to relax with, and I love that the voting results come in pretty quick. (As opposed to waiting almost 2 days like with other games). Now here’s my problem. When you use coins/tokens to purchase design items, you only get five uses and then you have to repurchase it. I HATE when games do this. Once I purchase something, it should be mine to keep indefinitely. I get that the game needs to make money, but there are other ways they can do so. There is another game I play where you get unlimited uses for items you buy, and I’ve been playing that game daily and spending money on it for four years now. Meanwhile, games where I only get limited usage of items I will often grow tired of and will not spend money on the game. This is the only reason I’m giving this game four stars instead of five. One other thing I want to mention, which isn’t a huge deal, but I still want to bring it up… I don’t like how the cash reward for voting is reduced after a minimal amount of time voting. I get why they do this, but voting is a big part of the game that I really enjoy and spend a lot of time doing it solely for that reason. Therefore, I should be fairly rewarded for that. Like I said, I understand why they put a cap on it (to prevent people spam voting just for cash), but I think they should extend the amount of voting before they reduce the reward.

Best design game by far!!. I love this game. I love the realistic look of the rooms and items. Every other design game out there is so cartoony looking. They feel like childrens games. Redecor feels much more elevated and I LOVE THAT! I see so many users complaining about having to spend actual money to do anything in the game… I don’t find that to be true. Have I spent actual money in the year I have been playing? Yes. But only to treat myself lol otherwise you CAN play this game strategically and not spend your own cash. There are so many ways to earn money in the app! Voting everyday, daily bonus, entering a design challenge in the first 24hrs, duals, placing top 3, and more. People must be way over spending in order to completely run out of funds in game and have to spend their own money. Besides the fact that it’s an app! Of course you have to spend to play. Whether that is real or in game money. That’s how these apps and games keep going! Sheesh. I love it and I think its great. I think it would be cool if the voting was more like a ranking… there are 10 designs in a group, but we vote between 2 at a time. It might be more accurate if it we could see all ten and rank them from best to worst. But I have no idea how that would work. I also hate the current league challenge lol it’s nearly impossible to get to diamond league and I really wish I could opt out of this challenge. It stresses me out lol Otherwise… GREAT DESIGN APP! Love it!

Used to be fun, but I’m done. I have been playing for over a year, but have decided to stop. If you like to just play around with designing, it is fun and addictive, but will cost you real money. Most items require gold, which is difficult to earn except the small amount they give you daily. You can’t buy the gold with the cash you earn, you have to spend real money ( which is ridiculous because very few items cost cash, so you end up with a pile of cash and no gold. I currently have over $1.4 million in cash in the game with nothing to do with it! Why can’t I buy gold with the cash??). And if you are playing it as a challenging game to compete against others, don’t bother. There is a glitch that allows players to cheat by not claiming their rewards until the beginning of the new season, allowing them to jump to the top of the leaderboard for the whole season. Players will start the season at level 40, while others who don’t cheat are at 0. It makes the entire point of the competition game irrelevant for the whole season. Redecor has been aware of the glitch for many months and has done nothing to fix it. On the plus side, you can save money because it doesn’t matter how much you spend, you won’t get on the leaderboard. So just design with the limited inventory you have and don’t spend anything because no matter how good your scores are, you won’t get on the leaderboard without cheating.

Best app of this type. I’ve played sooo many interior design / decor apps and this is absolutely the best one. The entire set up of the game is just superior to all the others. The rooms you’re decorating actually look like photographs of real homes and they’re each unique and have their own vibe and style in the actual build of the room instead of looking incredibly basic and empty like other games. The fact that you don’t need passes to do challenges is incredible, too. You can still vote on people’s looks for cash. The ability to use tokens to unlock other designs and fabrics is really cool too because you don’t have to wait until you reach a certain level and in app purchases are available to buy the tokens to unlock the designs or you can just earn tokens through the game. The “duel” set up for some challenges is really cool too. You can do one on one challenges with a random person and see their design first and then try to make yours better. Then people vote on whose design they like more. You can also see how everyone else placed and all of their designs so you can get a better idea of how people are voting and what’s popular. You can also enter multiple challenges in a day before running out of money to buy supplies, whereas in other apps you usually only get a big enough reward per design to enter one more design per day. Overall, I love this app. I’m beyond pleasantly surprised given how quickly I usually give up on other apps of this type.

Great game but. I do like this game from a visual and tech point..like it’s a well operated game? BUT its no fun when you ACTUALLY play. As in, you read what the challenge says and you design it. The people who play this game DO NOT READ the challenges. When it’s time to vote they just pick what’s prettier ..design home..they actually follow the rules. This game is for people who just want to choose anything and make it “pretty”. Meaning the challenge can say “design a boy room” and the people Will make a pink room with flowers and they will WIN the challenge…that is what the people will vote for the win..whatever is “pretty” and I just cannot wrap my head around it. Yes the game is for fun but if you are the type of person who is going to actually play the game and read the rules and what they want you to do, you will not have fun. It can say style a bohemian room and the person who made the room all pink with flowers will win like that it’s just crazy to me. 🙄 lol maybe I’m a stickler but I will go back to design home. They actually read the challenges and played to win. Not played to make things cute. Designing is not about your style. And then when you actually spend money because you are going to have to buy something for this game ..when you actually spend money for the challenges again it’s the pink one with flowers that wins. 🥲 bye bye

Great!! But suggestion. I downloaded this app yesterday and I’ve been OBSESSED with it. I haven’t been able to put it down!! But there’s only so many challenges you can do before you have to start redesigning old spaces instead of practicing newer ideas. I think a great feature would be to set aside space for people waiting on the challenges to end where they can freely decorate with the items they currently have. Like you can choose from a variety of different room layouts and then design them however you’d like. Not to be submitted to a challenge, but just so you can kill time and continue designing while you wait for the challenges! I’d love to see this idea in action. especially so I can genuinely spend all day playing the app instead of just 30-40 minutes to finish all the challenges and then play a boring waiting game. It’s also be great to be able to practice certain styles (like bauhaus) to get the hang of it before I submit one for judging! Sometimes I walk into challenges and feel unprepared because all I have to go on is 2 sentence descriptions before I’m thrown into designing. I know I can Google them separately, but I think being able to freely practice it would help me comprehend them a lot more!

Good game but in game purchases are too expensive. This game is addicting, and I’ll even admit that I’ve spent money on this game. The most money I’ve ever spent on any pay to play game. But I personally don’t understand the point of having to rebuy a subscription every season and it seems pointless to purchase unlike a single time purchase that gives you a lifetime sub. I spent about 25 dollars on this game and will admit it wasn’t very worth it, the prices for the coins is understandable assuming it would give you an insane leg up on other people if you could purchase large amounts for a low price. But the subscription to the season should at least be the one thing worth spending money on and doesn’t give you too much of an advantage against other players without having the skill to utilize your materials. And the recent update pushes the narrative even further for people who haven’t purchased the season subscription by not giving them rewards for every level up. Overall it’s a very good game and those are my only qualms with it, it’s very playable without spending money, but if you were to be interested enough to make an in-game purchase it’s something to consider. Unlike many other design games, Redecor is also easily navigable and very polished looking. One of my top 5 apps on my phone.

Rigged. You’re not allowed to win too much... I started to notice weird patterns in this game after multiple wins in a row, for example, one of my more recent designs: in the list of players it consisted of what seemed to be random generated player names (or bots). After looking at their profiles, they all had the same first design, with all of them being a win. The designs were literally the exact same. It also seemed to be counting the “person” in “1st place” had already won despite days being left in the voting process, because according to their records, they only had X amount of wins not counting the contest they’re currently in first in. For example, their profile says they have 5 wins, despite only counting 4. However, the current contest would give them the 5th win if they stay in first for the remainder of the voting process. I’m currently level 17 in this season, while all of these “players” are level 0. And, the designs seem extremely random and quite frankly, ugly lol. It seems as though Redecor doesn’t like when you win, especially multiple times in succession, so they will throw you up against bots and purposely keep you in last place. I took screenshots of everything because to me, that doesn’t seem fair (or legal), that they are rigging things. Especially when people are paying for items.

Amazing game but…. As much as I love this game I can’t give it 5 stars due to the amount of money you have to spend just to unlock items. I love the idea of the game and the free creativity we get when decorating. I’m addicted to the game and haven’t been able to put it down since downloading it. I even got my husband hooked. I do have some thoughts. I don’t think star coins are necessary in the game. It’s just not enough for them to just let us use gold and cash to buy more items. I don’t mind spending money on more gold and cash because that’s what you’re really using in the game. However to pay for star coins on top of it is just too much. We have to purchase star coins to use them to unlock only 3 items from one category out all the categories they have in the game. I’d understand if we used star coins to unlock the whole category but just 3 items out of the whole is ridiculous. They want you to sink more money into the game that way. You can’t unlock more items unless you win first place, use your star coins or pay for the season pass. I have bought the season pass a few times and it’s worth it since you get more items that way. 2nd and 3rd barely get scraps which should they should at least get a bit more for their placement. I really really love this game but honestly I don’t want to have to keep spending money on star coins just to enjoy the game.

Good quality design game, but WAY too expensive!. I found this game immediately addictive, interesting, creative… and incredibly expensive. The premise is good, great even, it’s just what I’ve been looking for in a creative, constructive game. (Meaning, not about shooting and killing things…) But they lead you in and make the first several rooms easy to design, with plenty of materials to choose from, but then you start having to pay to unlock materials… and after you pay to unlock materials you have to pay again to use them! It’s this part of the game I find particularly difficult. If I’m designing for a real client on the ground I get to go to stores and choose whatever I want to use. There’s gonna be a price to those materials but I only pay once. In this game it feels like I’m paying two or three times over for the best materials. Beyond that, though the quality of the templates and the materials is exceptional, the design standards are high, most of the time, and I’ve been able to continue continue to be interested and engaged in the game even after more than a year of playing it… also, they simplified the purchasing tokens, since I first started playing the game, and they made it a little bit more affordable, which is a welcome change - on both accounts!

Well designed & fun. This game is such a stress reliever for me and fun! It is well designed and easy to play. The decorating challenges are interesting, and the options to use for decorating are plentiful! Some are locked, but I think that they offer a lot more than other decorating games. I get so excited when locked items get unlocked! It’s like Christmas. I like that some rooms are super simple to decorate, only requiring a small number of items to complete, while others are more detailed. This game offers a lot of variety. The duels are fun because the results are quick. I pay $5 a month to engage in the special season prizes and earn even more money. That opens up a lot of extra stuff and more designs. It’s well worth the small amount I pay. Is it necessary to spend any money in this app? No. I just like the benefits the $5/month offers. I’m happy to pay a little to support those who are making this game possible. There are plenty of opportunities to earn money through voting in this game. I noticed that once a day, after 8:00 pm EST, for a set number of votes, the “money” earned is higher than during the day. So vote strategically. There is another popular decorating game, which I’ll not name, that ended up requiring more and more money to decorate rooms. I no longer play that one. I exclusively play Redecor. Thanks for such an awesome app!

Used to be my favorite app to play. I’ve been playing redecor for over a year or two now, and a lot of the changes have been incredibly frustrating to adjust to. Not to mention, a few of my season passes items that I had previously purchased have disappeared and no longer show up as options to use during the updates. I am not a fan of the designer status, and how it locks away materials that I could previously use and have previously paid for, and keeping up your designer status requires you to spend your own money for more coins to maintain the status because you need a certain number of ones which are impossible to maintain and continue without real money. I find that really discouraging especially since some of my most used materials I can no longer use. I love some of the changes, some of the newer materials and the season pass alone was worth purchasing but not when the previous ones i’ve purchased have disappeared from my selection. Overall, I do love this game but i miss how it used to play. I also don’t use the Relight feature whatsoever (just more gold you have to earn and more things to unlock) and it’s gotten so excessive that it feels like im HAVE to pay to win, and even then you aren’t guaranteed enough wins to keep your designer status no matter how good your design is. I’ve spent a lot of money on this and to not be able to use the materials and things i’ve purchased, makes me want to delete the game sometimes.

Lovely game with 2 major flaws.. I’d like to start off by saying this is a wonderful game. I adore it and suggest you download it. Sadly though, it has its downsides. First of all, money. When you start out, you get a bunch of money. If you’re like me you’ll probably see the money and go like “Woah, I’ll never run out!” Well you’d be wrong. It drains your money so slowly you barely notice. And when you do, you vote for a while to earn more money. I’m not one to spend real money on games. Just not worth it. This game isn’t as exception, but it becomes clear that spending real money is a bit of a must if you wanna keep using your favorite colors or most expensive items. I think if you spend your money right, you can last quite a while. The second issue is the worst. Voting. Oh. My. God. The voting is so messed up. I’ve seen absolutely hideous designs take the top 5 places, leaving the people who actually worked on theirs behind. It’s really horrible to see a bright yellow room with an equally eye-burning pink chair take first place on a “Classic Study” competition. (This is an example, never actually happened exactly, but it’s extremely accurate to how unfair the voting system is). Also why does voting take so long? It’s annoying having to wait for the money you get from the competition. Other than these issues, this game is the absolute best designing game out there.

Great game. Great way to relax at the end of a day, no annoying ads, easy to play even if you choose not to spend real money as you earn game money and help other game players at the same time. Just a suggestion, could we please have the option to arrange our completed redecorations the way we like to see them as there’s no order to them, and also it would be really helpful if we could still redecorate in a low signal area and then our completed projects would just load up when we came into internet range again, as not everyone lives where there is good internet signal. Otherwise, many thanks for such a fabulous game, and I’ve already personally recommended it to people I know.

Redecorate is great. I have been with redecor for over a year now. In this time I have found when I'm designing. I can barely notice the pain that I experience daily, which is why I enjoy doing my designs so much. It doesn't matter to me how I go in the placements, it's especially nice if I get 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Although, 10th place isn't very nice. I have a very rare terminal disease, which makes me bed ridden every day, except when I go outside to sit in my big chair. I can do my designs outside on my mobile phone, which is very convenient for me. However, I recently lost my account and up until now, it hasn't been recovered. This is meant in regards to me being able to continue with redecor, I have had to rebuy items that I already owned, including a new Seasons Pass, which I wasn't happy about. I hope my account is found soon. Otherwise, I'll have to stop designing, perhaps for ever. This is something I don't want to do. I hope that this doesn't happen to anymore members of Redecor. Much better :). Really good update. They fixed all the problems that players mentioned. No more sticky controls, they brought back the smoothness to the game. They fixed the lagging issues. It’s really good. I gave it 4 stars only because I’m hoping they brought back the feature of using gold in conjunction with cash. That’s actually what enticed me to buy. When they removed that feature, I didn’t want to spend anymore. So if it’s not in this new update, I hope it’ll be featured back in the next update (fingers crossed). Other games use that feature, I think that’s why players like it. Also the game interface doesn’t use the entire screen. The time, battery percentage and wifi symbols are still visible, which is a pain especially when I just want to relax for awhile, not be reminded of the time. It’s a tiny thing I know but I thought I’d mention it just in case. It’s no big deal :) Great work though overall. Thank you so much for listening. Makes the game experience more pleasant. The best game of its kind. Fun, relaxing. Highly recommend it.

By the way..... Should have read all the negative reviews from the seasoned (and paying) users before sending my previous concerns. As a new user of the game (3 days) I am quickly progressing with considerable success through the challenges. Just as quickly however (remember, after only 3 days of playing), I, like many others, am noticing that the challenges are thinning out and the minimal choices of materials (unless parting with arguably generous wads of cash to fatten your wallets) removes the capacity to be creative effectively resulting in all submissions looking almost identical. In a game where the players interactively judge each others’ work, this ends up a futile exercise - what’s the point? Sorry guys but I’m off to the App Store to find an alternative to challenge my home staging skills.

Cash grab. I really enjoy playing this game and have been for a few months. I play on two accounts and buy the season pass on both. I’ve also spent real money on the game in the beginning to get more fabrics/items. But there has been recent changes that I’m really unimpressed with. For a start - reducing the amount of rewards received for submitting a design and voting is despicable. This is just a ploy to make us have less game money and then spend more real life money on the game - not going to happen. Reducing the amount of times you can purchase the discounted 20 item box is also a rip off. I save my stars for those boxes and can now only purchase one - when previously I could purchase multiple. I’ve spent money previously buying multiple boxes too - not just stars. And the voting algorithm? Don’t even get me started on that. It’s ridiculous. I don’t even open the app to check how my designs are doing now because I can sit at 1st place the entire time and literally 10mins before voting closes I move to below 7. Voting isn’t accurate and has had issues for ages but honestly - it just seems to be getting worse. I am so close to un-installing this game and I am so furious I’ve recommended it to my friends only for us now to be feeling like we’re all being ripped off. Enjoy your new customers from the “Friend’s” design (which has so many ridiculous client picks it’s not funny) - let’s see how long they’ll last when no doubt you make more poor decisions. Do not recommend.

Loving This Game. I have been loving this game since I started a couple of weeks ago. The only problem that I have and find annoying is that if people don’t follow the brief, in terms of colours a client wants or particular wallpaper it doesn’t matter because it is us the players who have to vote and no one seems to care about this. It’s just about what looks good at the time. For example Boho/Chic. I had to spend a lot of coins on getting the right wallpaper and others didn’t follow this rule. Makes it hard when you are trying to do the right thing, and others don’t and they still get the votes anyway. When I vote on other players I try to remember the brief and see if they have followed it. There should be something to say no you didn’t follow the brief. Otherwise just love it.

No longer fun. I have to agree with so many recent reviews. This game was once fun to play, but has lost much of it’s shine now. I use to buy the season pass, and felt that this gave you some decent items, cash and tokens, and that it was a decent bundle to get. Unfortunately that is no longer the case, as even if you get that pass, you’d need to spend quite a bit more to stay in the game and be a contender to even have a shot at winning. Not sure what’s happened, but wins are hard to come by and I find that some designs cost a small fortune before you can even submit them. Noticing lots of repetitive designs too..once again, some that require considerably more coins to design. I also don’t like that they have put a cap on the voting…you can only vote up to a certain point, before you stop earning coins. I get that this is a game and the developers do want people to spend at some point, but it just seems like the expenditure required to play the game now is much, much more than before. I feel like the game has gone backwards with its fun level…not as appealing anymore unfortunately-such a shame.

Great but…stingy. This has quickly become my favourite game and I think a lot of the recent changes made have been for the better. HOWEVER, along with these changes, the game has also gotten stingier with its coins. There are hardly any daily tasks and the ones the game does have reward you with barely any coins - not enough to buy something let alone complete a design. You do get as much for voting or for winning designs. I cannot do as many designs as I could before as you get less coins now and less opportunity for coins. I get the developers probably want people to buy their coin packs etc, but even they aren’t value for money! The game is fantastic to play (if you have the coins) but it’s coming across more and more stingy which is making it almost unplayable. Also noticed some design materials I once had access to are now locked again?? That’s not cool at all. This game needs to increase the coins for daily tasks and winning designs, add a few more daily tasks that give further opportunity for coins, increase coins for voting (let’s face it voting is tedious), and make your paid packs to be better value for money.

Amazing game!. I really enjoy playing this game because it’s so fun and is a great way to calm down and unwind. It helps me to de-stress from a long day of hard work, and makes me feel relaxed. In fact, I’m a journalist and in journalism, it’s hard to remain focused all day long, what with all the running around chasing big news stories, but this app allows me to regain my concentration and refresh my brain cells for a while! I also really like this because the ads aren’t clickbait, meaning they advertise false products or game concepts, and the actual thing is exactly as shown in the ads. I have to admit, I love it mostly because all of the other “home design” apps have puzzles and this one doesn’t, and to be completely honest, I’m not the best at finishing those off. I’ve never even been good at games like Candy Crush by King or things like that, so I really appreciate not having to go through that struggle every single time I want to play this game. A huge thanks to the creators of Redecor, for giving me a way to clean my head and wash away any bad vibes.

Really good game!. This is a free app that allows you to get creative, relax, and just have fun. In this game there are so many different fabric patterns and more. There are different rooms to decorate you can compete against other people and get coins to buy new fabrics and other stuff after every room you design you get coins so you don’t really need to worry about buying stuff and if you buy something it allows you to use it for awhile after and then you don’t have to pay much for the thing you bought. When I installed this app I thought it would ask me for money because it seemed to good to be true. This is a stress relieving game Which allows you to get creative. During COVID-19 lockdown I have been playing it nonstop it was a good way to unwind from all the bad stuff happening in the world. If I were you I would definitely go and install this great, awesome, amazing game because it is the best game you can get.

Addictive. I do enjoy this app but there are some frustrations. For instance, your material selection can be limited when choosing materials for say a sink, v a floor v a ceiling, which is understandable, however, you can use carpet on a ceiling, but you can’t choose to paint walls a dark green - really annoying. I hope that makes sense for those who haven’t played. But the most frustrating thing is the scoring. Without sounding like a sore looser, some of the winners haven’t met the brief and they’re the ones winning the cash! And the glory 😉. And then there’s the cost of materials. Many of the good ones are expensive and sometimes you can’t fill a brief until you’ve bought more items which implants your chance of winning. All that’s said I can’t stop playin it (or paying for access to mew materials).

From great game to horrible game. This was once a great design game to play, I would say one of the best however, since Playkita purchased Redecor it has gone from great to disaster, from fun to money hungry corporate greed. I have played for 3 years and I rolled with the changes even though everyone had no choice. We were put into different categories and had to level up to get items, even ones we previously owned, then had to win games to keep our levels. Now they have cut prize money of quite a few designs that are from 9k, 13k,15k instead of 20k plus and that’s for first place then it lowers so you can’t get ahead. I don’t recommend going into this game unless you are prepared to spend a lot of $$. I purchase but now it’s getting to a daily one and I have cut down a lot. Playkita please have a heart and stop being stingy. Your reply won’t mean much at all.

Going downhill season by season. I used to really love this game. You could have even called me obsessed. I had 3 accounts, each of which I bought a season pass for as well as occasional token/gold packs. But over time the game just gets worse and worse. Challenges locked down so all the designs just look the same and the creativity has gone. Poorly rendered and repetitive challenges. Then a shorter season. That I can handle - an easy way to increase revenue for the developers. But one of the great things about this game was that you could always have a perfectly reasonable playing experience as a free player. Now with the release of the latest season they have significantly decreased the prizes free players can get, and while I was going to purchase a season pass for my remaining one account (dropped the other two last season due to the issues mentioned above), I will not support such a terrible move by the developers. This is terrible optics. Also, they have an official Facebook page where the moderators ban you for pointing out that “ask the developers” is unprofessional. Bye Redecor, it’s been fun and I really did think you were the best in market but this game just keeps going downhill and I will not be spending another cent. Edit: I just noticed they’ve replied to my review which they clearly haven’t read. I uninstalled at the start of season 17 and don’t plan to change that.

99.7%. Such a fun game personally and I enjoy exploring my creative side. It’s also a welcome relief to not be bombarded with ads while I’m trying to create a masterpiece, however… a few notes 1. No option to rotate direction of items. Some materials would look so much better (like wooden boards, chinoiserie rugs etc) if you could change the direction they run in. 2. Maybe some points / items could be awarded by mods or similar to designers that used items matching the “client’s” description. I have a very strong feeling that voters don’t necessarily always read the bio at the start, so just vote for designs that may be more aesthetically pleasing, but in no way resemble anything that was asked for (boring IMO but each to their own. I guess you DO get points for playing it safe) example: I recently scored 8th position on a design that asked for a room for their dinosaur mad daughter, only 2 designers used the kid’s dino mural feature and we both scored low. White and plain won.

Fantastic to terrible in a month. I’ve been playing this game since covid lockdown 2019. Back then it was a wonderful game you could relax and have fun designing. It’s recently been revamped into something unrecognisable from what it once was. The game was changed this month under the guise of a ‘fresh start’ into one that almost demands you pay to play. The rewards system for designs has changed dramatically, the voting system seems broken, the designs seem to be recycling old ones instead of new ones, and perhaps the worst thing to change is the tier system they have assigned to players. This resulted in inventory that you may have previously owned, being ‘locked back up’ until you reach certain levels. So if you had previously unlocked’ an item, and you were assigned a level lower than where that item becomes available, all of a sudden you can no longer use it. Even if you paid real money to buy the tokens to unlock the items… they didn’t care. It’s locked up and taken away from you. In the real world this would be called theft. Oh and do try to send your grievances to support - they don’t bother responding. Don’t try and get help through their social media either, they carefully sanitize that so that only positive posts go through and if they see any negative feedback at all the posts are removed. The new owners of Redecor seem to be killing the game off. Thanks for nothing

Constantly shuts down. App Constantly shutting down - very frustrating Update: most recent update has made the game less enjoyable. Problems with loading, can’t reselect an area to change and functions are laggy. Generally clunky and worst of all graphics are really bad - resolution is poor. Taken off 2 stars. Please fix. Original: 4 stars. My new favourite game. I like the variety of challenges and different materials to use. However there are a couple of points for improvement. 1.The algorithm for point scoring needs tweaking. I don’t understand how clashing chaotic designs with too many colours (think pink green yellow orange )can get a better placing than a harmonious design. I often think the placing is all wrong, how can two designs which are similar get a first and last placing? (I agree with another reviewer “These players have no taste or sense of style “😂) 2. Why only one design choice for a challenge - can you add at least one more?

So dissapointed!. I reaaaally wish this game was more enjoyable for a free player. It has so much potential but you literally have one option to chose from each product when designing a room which defeats the whole purpose of the game? Who wants to pay real money to upgrade items, not sure why there’s even a free player option when it’s so restricted. Fun to start, but you hit a certain point where there’s not much left to enjoy - unless you like using the same colour and product in each and every room you design. If the free player setting doesn’t include more options, I would rather pay a one-off fee to purchase the game than having to pay to upgrade items all the time. Super dissapointing!

Being run into the ground. I can’t help wondering if there is some benefit to new owners from destroying this game. I’ve been playing for year & love it but the game is gradually being eroded by greed and poor programming. Being forced to pay cash for new materials instead of being able to use tokens in game is a cash grab too far for me & I refuse to to participate. You are actually losing money, because I would pay cash for tokens to unlock materials I wanted. 3 recent updates have made the game progressively clunkier and less fun to use with it becoming less responsive and user friendly. I might have understood if there had been some improvements as well but there have been none as far as I can see, just degradation. 5 stars for the game (or the earlier version of it) 0 stars for the owners/programmers

This game is soo worth it and the new updates made it better!!. I used to be addicted to this game then I stopped playing for a year and recently came back to the new system and I love it so much !! It’s so much better. I know some people don’t like it (🤓) but pleaseeee DONT change it back!!! Also it is WAY less of a money grab now so idk why people are saying that?!? Redecor don’t listen to the haters🥰💕💕!!! I spend irl money so my opinion matters 😉 Although I feel like the voting is worse tbh but maybe bc the other players have no taste 😔 The game is super fun free to play but the season pass is totally worth it. Sometimes I persuade my bf to buy me more tokens 😘😘BUT PLS add a feature to add friends so u can duel them, maybe through gamecenter or smth?? Also I wish I could buy items from old seasons too

Beware - they steal your cash. I started out having fun with this game and spent over $200 buying stuff in the first few months. Then my profile disappeared after an update - this happened to thousands of others too according to facebook groups. I spent days writing to their “support” asking for help. I recieved several replies telling me they would look into it, but they never did. Their email bot just sends auto responses saying “my request has been updated” or someone sends me some generic advice basically blaming my device and telling me to turn it off and on again. Their support pass the buck and do not fix anything. I lost my money, go several useless replies and then they ghosted me. I now have to dispute all my transactions through my bank, because the support people are too lazy to lift a finger to do their jobs. There is no point in having multiple responses from support if they do not to do anything at all to assist. These ap developers do not care. They take your cash, refuse to provide the goods and then suggest you try non-existent support who completely ignore you. SCAMMERS!

I like this game. Since I joined the Redecor team, I've been learning how to create new and amazing designs every day. Sometimes the ones I find the hardest to follow, are the ones that are judged in the first four places. When I put my designs in for judging, I'm usually happy with them. It's a bittersweet thing for me. You win some and you lose some. Another reason I like this app is because, I'm in severe pain every day and sometimes my pain relief doesn't work as well as it should. On these days, I like to use the app because it helps to keep my mind focused on something else, other than the pain that I have from the terminal illness that I have. I should say it's been a Godsend to me. Thank you Redecor.

Can be frustrating.. If you love design and decorating this is a great app to use, the graphics are great and you get a good range of design spaces. Unfortunately if you want to create the best possible design it gets quite expensive. All the items that you know would fit the brief to create an amazing room are locked and you have to pay “real dollars” to unlock them. Then once you unlock them you have to pay game dollars to be able to use them and for the best ones you have to buy them with gold coin which is very hard to earn. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the challenges but if you’re paying $$ from your personal bank account then really it should let you choose the items you want, not just 3 random items from the store that you would never use or even worse already have! So if you’re happy to stick with ho hum choices and have a play you will enjoy the game BUT if you’re creative side is twitching it could get expensive.

Great but.... Enjoyable and quite relaxing BUT sometimes it glitches out of the app and idk if that is a problem for other people. Hope this can be fixed ASAP. Thanks! EDIT: LOVE THE FRESH START! It is nice except there is one minor thing I would like to be changed back. So you know how you have to scroll down to see the duels? It is a bit annoying since I always forget about the duels even though I understand if majority of the users like the new set-up. Personally, if it could be changed back to how it used to be before the Fresh Start season, that would be great!! Oh and the voting is. Just. Simply. Rigged. Hope that can be fixed as well!!!

Love It!!. I downloaded Redecor because I love designing and I must say, it really proved itself. At first, I had read other reviews and was unsure (don’t listen to those) about the version before the new update! But it is Great!! Not many ads and you can see other designers designs!! I find it a really relaxing game and it has very modern designs. It’s not like games where you have to do riddles or match things to earn money, as that really annoys because I always get stuck on a level. I always have money in the bank and I can buy anything I want!! This game is one of the best I have downloaded!! I love the fact there are competitions but you don’t really compare yourselves to others. The only thing I would change, is an easier way to unlock other materials without having to spend coins! Perhaps when you get to a certain level?? Just a bit of advice! Redecor is a great way to find your inner design, and to see other design Ideas as well. I would recommend to anyone with style and loves to design areas!! 😁😁

Becoming frustrated and puzzled. Usually love this game but lately I have become puzzled by the poor quality of a lot of winning designs. One even had timber in their shower. That’s not to mention people who use tiles on ceilings and other silly things. And who would really decorate with 2 or more of the same pieces of artwork on a wall or room - no matter how nice the design I won’t vote for these. The rest of us struggle to put designs together with differing artworks and this is what the real world is like. All up, many of the works of winners are dubious and not realistic, to put it kindly. To the developer, please give us some new art pieces. I’m bored silly with the current ones. Also, please develop a Go Back facility, letting us go back at least twice, as it’s enormously frustrating to make a choice of something and then realise the previous choice was better but then you have to spend ages trying to find it again. Also think about being able to convert cash to coins and vice versa. Also, I notice quite a few of the designs are being recirculated by the developers and this is becoming tedious. I’m starting to lose enthusiasm for the game but I do believe it is a terrific one and thank the developers very much for jt, maybe i just need a break!

Unsure of the update changes :/. *from bad to worse!?!* The previous update saw our purchased inventory disappear and us have to earn different items through decor boxes, given when a challenge is won/entered- fine. Now we must earn silver stars to buy or unlock decor?!? And from the game play so far, no boxes are earnt and prizes are suddenly VERY stingy? Disappointed. I’m a little disappointed in the update to be honest. I loved the how prior to the update you had a whole lot more options to choose from, enabling you to truly design a room to the brief and your taste, instead of picking the ‘best fit’ from what is currently unlocked. It is also kinda odd that you have to play to unlock materials, and then purchase them to use in the room as well. It should be one or the other, not both. People will quickly loose inspiration as motivation to play. Also disappointed that everything purchased before the update has disappeared from my inventory and I now need to start from scratch again (especially as I bought gold specifically to purchase some items). I appreciate the cash/gold injection after the update, but still, frustrating.

Great game even though the voting is terrible. I waited months before writing a review to give it a decent analysis and I really think this game is incredible since it is free and there are so many different challenges everyday. You are not forced to spend real money but can do so at your own desire, which I did buy a couple season passes (only on the ones that caught my eye) just to say thanks to the developers for all their good work. My only frustration is with the voting - I think some people don’t even look at what they are tapping on, they just mindlessly bop away at the pics in order to get more coin. People are lazy and that ends up with some really tragic designs scoring 1st place. BUT that is not really the developers fault so I still give Redecor a 5 star rating. Well done guys!! Keep up the good work

Unstable app and scam BEWARE. Unstable app… Crashes a LOT. Mainly when attempting to receive a reward or between paying for and receiving item. Constant updates don’t address this. They only reduce/remove rewards and make it unaffordable. Scam- ‘Support’ starts of great when you are new. Doesn’t last long. Suddenly they can’t check anything and refer you to apple without reading the problem or checking anything. They copy paste templates which have nothing to do with your problem. Many, many purchases are not received. Getting sick of it. Was a fantastic game. Now it’s unaffordable and cannot afford to buy enough to submit designs I even like. Watch out for the competitions. You can’t check progress. It often restarts at the beginning losing all progress. Check ads for discounts and bundled carefully. Intentionally worded to mislead so you don’t get what you think you’re buying. Way too much hard work staying on top of the intentional tactics, crashes and missing purchases that makes a good game completely ruined. It’s addictive so don’t get hooked or you’ll be broke and still can’t play! Also, ‘support’ intentionally doesn’t address the issue in there response (a week later) so you have to reply, and wait a few more days for the same thing- this can go on for weeks. I regret downloading this app.

Quality sinking like a boulder…. Like so many long term players in reviews below, I am appalled and disappointed at how much the game has deteriorated. I could (just) handle the constant recycling of rooms. I could (somewhat) handle the fact that voting often completely ignored the client brief and was determined purely on popularity. I tried to accept the constant pop up ads that recently appeared every time you opened the app. HOWEVER, I draw the line at having hard earned levels taken away if you fail to win a certain number of rooms within the shortened period of 14 days. Too bad if real life gets in the way and you have a few days off. After many, many years of playing, I’m done. I find it blatantly disrespectful to have EARNED levels removed. Way to lose dedicated people!!! If you’re looking for a design app, I’d look elsewhere, as I am doing.

Game is slowly getting worse. I first started playing this game a year ago. Absolutely amazing game back then! There were many more materials and varieties of them. No need to unlock them with tokens either. You would get money no matter what place you got and the season pass cost virtual currency. Now, I’m not too sure what has happened either then the fact that money got to their heads. Most of the materials and varieties were removed from the game, the season pass cost real life money now and you were barely rewarded if you got any place under 2nd. I dislike how you have to unlock most materials with tokens now, Not to mention that there isn’t as many as before. When the update came out, all your materials that you brought were gone from your inventory, even the ones that were still in the game. Don’t get me wrong the game is still addictive but it was much better before this huge update. Very disappointing. Just today, my battle pass levels weren’t going up even though it said I had leveled up. I’ve been stuck on 13 even though when I claim my challenge prize it says I’m on 15. Please make the game good again.

READ. I started Redecor because it was my passion to design rooms and be creative. But as I got deeper into the game, each design looked just like the last. And I think that if the developers made everything free people will actually enjoy this game. If you think about it, with everyone given a fair chance at showing people what they’re capable of, it makes redecor more than just a game. I enjoyed redecor in the first few weeks but unfortunately I’ve lost interest in all matters of this game. Also, I’ve read other reviews and were given the EXACT same response. If you can’t be bothered to make proper changes in the game why don’t you at least read what other people think about your game? This game really went downhill from here and I think it’s about time you see it too.

Good, but at what price?!. I used to enjoy this soo much more before all these extra seasonal purchasing challenges emerged and furthermore: rewards - both for daily login and duel challenge wins - are declining rapidly… so it’s going down the old fashioned “hmmm we’ve got a good thing here let’s make ‘em all pay!!!” Oh and I think it’s a little bit insulting and/or blatantly dismissive of the Redecor “developer and management team” who are appearing to copy and paste the same kinda lame “we here value ur input and blah blah blah stay tuned some god awful emoji and then: we will pass this incredibly valuable and worthy feedback to someone else…” So I guess I’m wondering how many reviewers need to be vocal to your team in order to gain some sort of mutually acceptable response whereby people who clearly are engaging and paying for season passes (myself included!) you’re sponsored by many other apps so revenue shouldn’t be continued to be on us! We as the players are the only reason you have a “Redecor team”…. So please respect us in our criticism of what is a clearly sliding scale or don’t respond at all … oh and if I get some sort of smiley emoji I will know for sure there isn’t really anyone caring or valuing our feedback as much as is proclaimed!!!

Enjoy but very expensive to play. I really love this game however I feel like if I don’t keep buying expensive packages then I can’t win challenges. Sometimes when I’m doing a challenge with preselected materials I am sitting on 3 options and two of them I need way more gold then I can afford. The things I don’t like is that I have to pay for tokens to unlock materials, I only get 3 unlocked and I don’t get to choose and normally they are not the ones I want. Then I have to pay more expensive money or gold to buy 5 of the items again. So I have to pay twice for the items essentially. It just gets really expensive to play and nearly cost prohibitive for people who just want to have a bit of fun. I have paid for a season pass plus a pack of the tokens just so I could start winning some of the designs. Even with the season pass I only earn once I spend my earned or bought money and gold and tokens. Then I get one product or some gold or money. It’s not worth the money for the season pass. I really like the game but I think that it would be better if it was a subscription based product so that people can afford to play and it comes down to merit as well rather than who can afford the best materials. Other than above the game is good! Please consider changing your pricing model for the people who can’t afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a game.

So much untapped potential. I’d like to echo the reviews that express how limited this app has become for free users. It has so much potential for a really enjoyable and rewarding app experience, but I’m so put off by the clear favouritism shown to users who spend the big dollars. It’s near impossible to put together a decent design (after the first few days of app use) without spending real dollars. Ironically, I would be willing to support the app financially if it was developed to provide a less discriminatory experience to free users. Edit: I’m absolutely aware of the current “in app currency” options available to free users. These options (including the gold coins available to claim daily) really don’t make a difference given the cost of design materials. It’s all very well to make the app available to free users, but it’s essentially pointless given your options for free users really don’t make a positive impact on their use of the app. I stand by my original review and will not be supporting the app (have removed it). It’s disappointing to see that the developers don’t seem to have an understanding of the issues I’ve raised.

Unstable. Update ….. the issue has been resolved …. Back to enjoying the game. I was really enjoying this game. Playing it most of the day. But now it boots me out in the middle of a challenge. Sometimes 3 or 4 times. Doesn’t boot me out when I’m voting or looking at designs. Only when I’m trying to create a room. And it does it on my phone and iPad. So it is not the device. Tried to ask about it on the Facebook page to see if anyone else was experiencing it. But my post got blocked by the administrator. Tried to send a message to support - but support only had FAQ’s. it’s a shame - I like the app, it’s fun. But I can’t be bothered going back into it all the time after I get booted out.

Finally good again!. I wrote a review a while back stating how terrible and practically unplayable this game had become. The developers promised everyone that changes were coming and they were listening to what we were saying, so I waited to see if it would actually improve. With the latest update that finally sees designs getting rewarded based off of votes and not the money spent on the design, I can safely say I’m in love with it again! On top of that, having challenges returned and a $3000 reward for completing designs has meant that its actually possible to play the game again without needing to vote constantly to have any sort of money. I actually have money in my bank regularly and feel like I can have choice when making designs and I don’t always have to pick the cheapest option. Yay! This game is my favourite again. I am so glad it’s come good. Still wish we had access to every type of material etc because I’m not a fan of having to unlock all the materials but we can’t have it all! Thanks developers for listening to us and making the game so much better again.

FAIL. This app used to be good but they have changed it so many times that my interest is just about lost. What used to be a good game has now turned into a fail. There’s higher rewards for some players, meaning those with a lesser reward have no way to properly maintain their cash flow despite it previously overflowing. Can’t see how they can claim to be a “fair” game when some players receive almost double the rewards of others. This needs to be addressed ASAP and you need to up the rewards again. This is becoming a joke! *edit to add response to developer* That is a blatant lie. When I wrote this review (almost three months ago) some players were chosen BY YOU to receive twice the daily gold and it was acknowledged BY YOU that you were testing it out. You then changed it to a different selection of players that were getting more cash per design, again acknowledged BY YOU that it was due to you testing things out. Don’t try to patronise me by telling me it was another app. I would post on your Facebook group to get confirmation from other players that my statement is in fact correct, but we all know you won’t approve the post.

AWESOME APP!😍🤩. I honestly think that this app is amazing! I only got it a week ago and I am already obsessed and addicted! It is great for when being in Quarantine and at home. It’s a great app for imagination and creativity. One of the great things about this app, is that you start off with a heap of money to design rooms. But one of the downsides are that you cannot create your own furniture or put your own furniture into the designs. You can only select the colour of the furniture, which is fine but would be better if you are able to select your own furniture. Also with Redecor, you are able to vote on other peoples designs and people are able to vote on your own designs! This app is one of the best apps I have downloaded during the COVID-19 stay at home break.

🤩Finally An Incredible Interior Design App! 🥳. I only downloaded this a week ago, and I’m already hooked. This isn’t some sort of trashy design game where you have to pay real money for the good stuff, or watch a trillion ads (on that, there actually are no ads whatsoever). You also don’t have to do any candy crush style games before hand You can be super creative and it keeps you busy for hours! This has made me super interested in interior design - thank you so much Developers, you have unleashed a new passion of mine! If you want a good quality, creative, super fun and overall amazing interior design app, Redecor is the one to download!

Great app. It is a really good app, its so different than those other decoration apps that are more for kids and have limited variety. This app has lots of colours, textures and different material to choose from when decorating. Its is also great as it has a little challenge set to each like using certain items the clients have chosen and you have to work around it. The only down part for me is the voting system. Because of this task that is given to us before decorating, i think the criteria and task of each challenge should come up on the screen when you’re voting so the people voting know what to evaluate in the design and not just vote in what they find prettier.

This game is definitely worth getting. I love this game so much it’s one of my favourites. One of the good things about it is you earn lots of money quickly so you never end up having to spend real money for more of the game’s money. I was looking for an app like this but there were always reviews saying it’s too expensive and I finally found this app with none of them! (After the update) If your like me this app is definitely worth getting. One thing I will say though is it says you get to design all this stuff but your really just changing the colours. Still worth getting though. I hope people read this review and get the app because it’s really good

Woweee!! Best game :)). Must say, this game is so satisfying- is that weird to say? But anyways I had this game a while ago and loved it sooooo much I was like addicted to this so I actually don’t think that’s good lol nah best game- but one time I was deleting an app but accidentally deleted this game- idk why and how that happened but I was so furious with my self, I had lots of money and decorations as well and had this game for a very long time, so I tried to get it back the next day, and it said my storage is too darn full... I was like... 😐🤭😦🤯😞🥺 So, yeah mixed emotions... Until I updated my device and tried it again after a few months- a few months of being so bored without this game lol, I sound like I don’t do much with my life- but that’s not the point! The point is that I am so so excited and happy!!! Thank you soooo much beautiful people who created this wonderful peaceful game, thank you again producers :) And may you have an admirable day

Good… but now I’m not so sure….. This game was extremely good at first because you got loads of money so you could buy so many cool materials. But now I’m up to level 14 and… I’m getting a bit disappointed. Sometimes I can’t even finish a design because there is only one wall option that I can’t even pay for. Then, I decide to do a child’s bedroom and the only colour I can do is this disgusting grey…. and you bet….I loose the compotition! I have no options! So I keep coming last in every single one! I’m up to the stage now where I literally can’t do anything because I have no money to do so! I wrote a really nice review a couple of weeks ago saying how amazing it is. But now it feels like they try to make it good at first so you do that and then make it unplayable later! I’m now thinking of deleting the game and then downloading it again so I can experience what it was before. And that experience was spectacular. So if you want to get this game, it is really good, but be aware that you may start to feel 5th at the game becomes unplayable. Thanks.

Needs work. As much as I really enjoy this game, I feel like the recent update has kind of made it more of a struggle. A lot of the other reviews have pointed out flaws in the old voting system and ranking and all, but I feel like that worked quite well in comparison to how it is now. You don't get rewards unless you place first, which is a lot harder to do now. But there seems to be less way to actually get cash. Voting is great but it's frustrating that your rewards are 375 until you've voted ten times, and then way down to 75. Theres overall way less way to make cash and I feel like it's making the game a lot less relaxing than before. Also, it's gotten REALLY slow. Like virtually unplayable. It takes ages to be able to purchase an item and often glitches and buys twice the amount I need, if it purchases at all. Submitting might take over an hour ( my internet is fine and there is plenty of storage on my phone). It's really frustrating that a game which used to be so cool has gotten way less enjoyable.

Confused. So sad with the up date to loose most of my items I had bought, being restricted to selected items makes it near impossible to do a design, reading the reviews not many happy with it either, why should we have to use real money to more coins. I played a similar game which gave you quite a few free items , as you earned rewards for playing to unlock other items, which took ages to accumulate coins, but they had a yearly fee $7 for small package unlimited use of 100 new items, then $12 for bigger package $24 for ultimate package, but as usual developers get greedy and up went the annual fee plus made it monthly, that’s when I left .some people like me who live on a strict budget just can’t do it.

Horrible update DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This latest update has absolutely destroyed the gameplay of this app. It’s now extremely lagging and doesn’t transition well in between tasks(even after the so called fix” and now costs way to much to actually be able to play it without spending more money. One example of this is when you previously went to buy something and you were a little low on cash it would allow you to use the gold to even the costs and now this feature has gone as to make players want to spend more on to be able to complete tasks. Another example is all the “advanced” levels which literally will cost you everything you have just to complete the task therefore making players more likely to have to spend real money to continue playing and complete other tasks. This game used to be my all time favourite I raves about it’s now something I’d not waste my time and money on!

Not sure I love this anymore. Well you guys have royally screwed this once great app up. It’s become more restrictive and I’m spending less money as I can’t just buy what I want to use. This is the only game I play where you can’t watch videos to earn diamonds. Why not? It’s getting very expensive now. I wish you would look at Covets scoring system and use that idea- beat a score and earn prizes. It is mostly the voting that annoys people. I hardly vote at all because I’m sick of being beaten by people who don’t even follow the brief! If you make it about achieving a certain score then we are not competitive with each other. I love voting on covet.

Used to be great. At one point I was practically addicted to this game. It was amazing. I had racked up an impressive collection of fabrics and woods and metals. Until one day they updated it. Now my “Owned” category still shows the ones I had purchased but with a lock on them. Now I have to pay REAL money to get them unlocked. I’m so so mad it’s beyond words. Now they’ve left me 5-6 plain and boring ones and expect me to pay for the ones I already had in my inventory. I can’t possibly win without unlocking them. I just tried playing it 5 minutes ago. The challenge was “Colourful woods” and they gave me brown ones only. All others were locked. How the hell am I supposed to win that one without, umm and I emphasise on this, COLOURFUL WOODS? Trash update. The update just meant to make us pay to be able to win. Gotta have money to make virtual money. Uninstalled today. Went from my favourite game to the most frustrating game in my phone.

Four star review.. I downloaded this game at the beginning to keep myself entertained during COVID isolation. I really enjoy the game as a whole, I thoroughly enjoy the continuous rooms that become available across a day which allows you to login regularly to design without doing them all at once. I find the 1st place winnings generous, the seasons materials and variety of decor colours & patterns fun & engaging. If I could suggest anything I would suggest shortening seasons to a monthly time frame as I always find myself completing it early & having to wait weeks for the next season. I love there are no ads or lag. Sometimes unlocking materials can be time consuming if you are saving coins through application & not wanting to spend money on the application but otherwise happy overall.

Feeling let down. I have been playing this game since the start of the year & have been really enjoying it. I have even purchased the last few season passes and made a few purchases of tokens too. However I am feeling continually let down. I am following brief, voting, and submitting every single design and earning absolutely nothing in return to the point I can no longer play. Because the items I have left available to use aren’t in style and won’t get high votes. I notice a lot of the winning designs are not following the brief, or are other times exactly like mine with the exception of one small thing, yet they will win and I will place 9th or 10th. I don’t expect to win unless it’s valid yet it is becoming disheartening and frustrating and almost impossible to continue to play unless I want to pour a lot of money into the app. I downloaded it as a free app and it is unable to be played as a free app as it is now.

less gold. why did you reduce the amount of daily gold? to make more money?

It’s a rigged and glitchy game. Thing crashes constantly. Also you will win big the first few times and then never win again unless you spend money. If you like games to be fair this is not the one for you.

Rankings not Fair. The game is great, but with one HUGE flaw. The winner is based on whoever spends the most money and not on how well the did in the voting. If they changed that I would truly love this game. That’s a big downfall to me though.

USED to be good. I used to truly love this gave, and I once gave it 5 stars, however, the newest update has ruined everything. The game has stolen items from me that I paid REAL money for. I’ve contacted support already but, of course, they’re trying to get out of it. How the mighty have fallen.

Not happy in the least. I have been playing this game religiously for several months now. Occasionally I have purchased gold from this game. Today, I have gone through my apple purchases and discovered they have charged my visa many times for purchases I did not make, nor get. Today for instance I was charged $31.62 for two separate purchases that I didn’t authorize nor receive. I hadn’t even opened the game today. This game is a fraud. If I could give it a 0 I would.

To many changes to make money.. I began playing June 24 2020 what ever season that was. With every new season there have been changes. I was upset when they changed it from being able to win everything in the season with out a pass to this only every 3rd item. Previously if you didn’t buy the pass you would still get a prize of cash or gold . It wasn’t a high amount but it was better than this. With each change it forces me to spend actual money. This season I refuse to buy the season pass. I no longer care if I rank. I used to try to get first but now I just make pretty rooms. I miss the competition aspect and trying to get first. But, I’m tired of all the changes each season and spending my real money on a game that keeps getting more expensive with less joy for me. I won’t be removing the ap but i will no longer be spending money on it. It’s sad I used to really enjoy it when I first started a year ago.

season pass. i bought the season pass for 6,99$ and it was ending in 44 days. now i’m back at level 0 for i don’t know the reason while I was at Level 21. I have to start all over again and i don’t have the season pass anymore. i cannot get back my purchases, i need to buy it back. what the hell?

Update did not help. Is the ‘Claim all’ supposed to be forced? Hate this new function as the next day when I check my designs, it rushes me through and any accomplishments are defused and it’s very anti climatic. Then I shut the app from frustration. Also, the daily challenges do not calculate with each submission. I submitted 5 challenges today and it counted 3. Also, when I am forced to claim all, the totals do not include all my wins each time. It’s just not the same game since you introduced the Claim All.

Fun - but a scam. It used to be fun I should say. Since they updated it it’s so much more about purchasing things than even playing. Don’t waste your money or time, it’s pretty disheartening.

The new update sucks. The cap on how often we can vote/get coin limits how much we can do. Everything costs more. The update sucks

Used to love this. Until the recent changes I loved this game but I’m about to delete the app from my tablet. I used to not only buy the pass I spent sometimes upp to $60.00 a month on items. For me it wasn’t so much about winning as having nice rooms to look at. However, even tho I was not at all upset with the change in voting like so many are, I am very much upset that the rewards have been reduced to virtually nothing. There is now no incentive to do the duals and I have not done one since the reduction. The daily gift is also annoying but the big one for me is the change with voting, no opportunities for star tokens or gold at any time. So im taking this opportunity to sign off.

Almost perfect. I think the game would benefit from a new gamemode or at least a new way to male money.I would also like to see more challenges ans less delay before revealing your score!

Not impressed.. I’m not impressed with the fact that the winner is solely based on how much money is spent. Not on the ratings. When you vote for photos it doesn’t actually count in the final ratings. Once again we are told that how much money we spend determines how successful we will be. 🙄

Changed my positive review. *Edited* This game was a great way to relax and decompress. It still is if you are willing to pay, which I didn’t mind doing. However, since the changes, it’s been quite frustrating. Since Christmas, I have spent a little over 1,000. of real cash money that this game sucks away into nothingness. I don’t mind spending the money, but not with the way it’s being run now. Yes the graphics are awesome and designing the rooms are still fun, however, the nicer items cost a fortune, not to mention styled and top notch designs often require you use the most costly materials and if you are lucky there may be one or two materials you already own to use but you’ll probably come in last place with a pittance of a reward. Nobody follows the criteria of each design and if you do, you will probably lose. As soon as my cash runs out, I am deleting this game. It’s a shame, I do believe the developers are entitled to make money, and I don’t mind spending, but there should be some value to what you are spending your real money on, that’s no longer the case so I’m out. My first review is below • This game gets your design creativity flowing. Lots of options and design mediums, live voting on designs and lots of different layouts. It really is a great game!

New version. I don’t like the new version.

If you’ve got money to throw away. Used to be a great game and a stress relief. Now just a stressor. You spend all the coins on one great design that will maybe net you a fifth of what you spend. Every day a new “deal” to spend real cash on next to nothing. Concept is great game sucks. Run away from this one.

Bugged. I haven't played the game in almost two weeks now. The app doesn't load at all. I have a new iPhone and no issues with it.

Double purchasing. Hello Developer, I think there is a bug issue that needs to be solved. Sometimes I’ll press buy on a textile and it will still show as a tag and won’t accept the purchase. Then, I am forced to buy it again, resulting in a double purchase. I end up buying 10 count instead of 5 and spend extra money. Could you please look into it? Otherwise I really enjoy this game!

Used To Be Awesome. This was a fun relaxing game until new owners started making a bunch of changes that ruined a perfectly good game. It seems now the goal is for the owners to make money at the expense of the enjoyment of the game. They put limits on how much you can vote, made materials ridiculously expensive and introduced design levels that are not only frustrating but have robbed players of materials they have bought and paid for. Add to that whatever nonsense they have done to the voting system. Too bad, it used to be fun, now it just adds stress to my life so I’m thinking about deleting it.

People are confused.... So it’s not true that winning is based on how much is spent. At least not exactly. Your design is grouped with 9 random people, and a bonus is calculated based on the ratings you get , which come from votes x what you spent. This makes a “multiplier bonus”, which is multiplied bY # of stars (votes) to give you a ranking. So more expensive might help a bit, but is no guarantee of wining at all. There is a dollar value on the rankings list but that is how much a client would think your design is “worth”. it does not equal money spent on design items. I do admit that the game could make that clearer. Also I’ve had no trouble designing without spending money so not sure why people are having problems. My only problem is that I actually dislike voting at all. People often choose things randomly that don’t even match the criteria sometimes. I’d prefer goal based rewards rather than voting.

Too many pop-ups. I have played Redecor for about two years now and love the game. The only issue I have is when you open the game, there are about 5-10 pop-ups that you have to click through. This is extremely annoying and if you haven’t played for about a week, they start to stack up. It is an overload of information that is not super relevant to the average player and honestly makes me want to exit the game before I even start playing. Please fix this, I love the actual game but this format is brutal.

Meh. Used to be enjoyable. Since it changed it’s just crap. I guess you need to spend money to win?

Deleted the app. I deleted the app due to recent changes. It’s not worth playing anymore. They changed it to hamper anyone not willing or able to spend major cash on playing. Not interested in fuelling corporate greed, just in designing pretty spaces.

Ugh. Can you explain why I check my design a couple minutes before voting is over and i’m in first place, but when it’s over i get 7th-9th place? It can also be the other way around. It was never like this until recently.

What the heck is going on. Used to be a fantastic Game now just a joke.

All about Profit. I used to love this game, but unfortunately with all the price hikes/money grabs, changes and lack of support through the company I do not recommend downloading. It used to be so fun and entertaining but now I find myself more disappointed and frustrated with the game than anything.

Players Lose Status and All of their Season Wins. No matter how many wins you have in a season, if it is not enough to elevate your design status to the next level you lose not only your current status but also EVERY SINGLE WIN you had in the season. How discouraging. Please let players keep their wins to achieve/apply toward next level status. And please stop downgrading player status. Games should be fun not punishing. Please fix this. Thank you.

Garbage. I’ve been playing 3 years. It used to be amazing. The new owners drove it into the ground. It’s terrible. Don’t waste your money.

issues. the app was going great for me until i bought a season pass, now i cant decorate anything without the app crashing and bringing me back to my home screen outside of the app. I can check my completed challenges i can start new ones, but once i start a new one and i tap a hotspot to design it, the app crashes.

Redecor. Loved this game at first but my interest is waning. It’s an expensive game to play but at least they offered small daily awards, awards for winning design duels and voting on others designs. These have all been either reduced or eliminated, virtually guaranteeing that you will have to buy gold or tokens in order to use certain decor items. Also getting bored because the same rooms are being offered over and over, you just are asked too decorate them differently.

Too expensive… sorry!. Il love the game, spend a lot of hours on it but recently, changes made that it’s too expensive to have material… many pieces that I use quickly. I have to vote too many time to have only some things. I will not play as often anymore.

Such a shame!. This was an extremely creative and clever app, that was challenging and fun. The developers have started to dramatically change this app, by diminishing rewards, repetitive backdrops, not updating your choices of materials, and virtually impossible to win due to their algorithms and demands. It is such a shame, because what motivated me to buy, is no longer there. I am playing this less and less. I have 4 friends who feel exactly the same. We started together, and now we’re playing much less. It is no longer fun. I will only continue to play less until I no longer will play. Too bad !

Used to be better. This game used to be so much better. It’s too hard to make money to buy things now and I feel like I spend most of my time voting to do one design. It’s just not relaxing or fun anymore. You have made it into too much work and made everything too expensive with little payout for voting even. Not impressed

Graphics great, declining game play!. I started playing in January of 2021 and I found an incredible ad free game with amazing graphics and great options for styles. But over the course of 6 months changes from developers for the game play including wild voting algorithms, reduction in daily prize and tasks, limiting options during designs, forcing gold token purchases, repeat designs and shifting voting prizes has made the game less enjoyable every month! It seems every month there is a new change that results in current players being confused, annoyed and frustrated because instead of being rewarded for loyalty there is a definite tread towards forcing players to spend real money daily. I already buy the season pass each month and have spent real money on occasion but now instead of continuing to enjoy designing and spending the occasional dollar to get some extras, as an active player I purposefully avoid gold token items and skip designs or go days without looking at the app. The changes in the way is the game is played and rewards given are alienating existing players at an alarming rate. I no longer recommend this game to others. It’s getting more confusing and less enjoyable with each change made by the developers. Also I have tried numerous times to email support both through the app and via website with no response from the tech support or office administration. I hope in the future this becomes a game I enjoy again!

Used to be good. This game was good before it was recently bought out. Now you cannot play and win without spending money.

Do not install. You need to pay to unlock items and move ahead to levels. Not what I expected. This game is geared towards spending your money. Don’t bother!

Don’t bother. They took a five star game and destroyed it with greed. Voting is rigged. Money hungry app.

Fun but has some deficiencies. The app is an entertaining way to explore your inner designer without spending any or a lot of $. My biggest complaint is that the challenges give design criteria and client pics but there is no consideration of meeting the criteria in the judging model. Either they need to dump the whole client pic criteria or improve the judging component to ensure only designs that follow the criteria are judged. As a user either way is fine with me, but what’s the point of it’s not consistent through out. Still some kinks to work out as a user when purchasing the materials wanted, because there seems to be something either glitching or I’m missing but definitely don’t get the items I wish to add when I’ve tried. Despite these annoyances it’s still entertaining

Needs improvement. I am posting this because there are so many complaints on the Facebook page that I’m told the developers do not read. Many recent changes are not for the better. Significant and ongoing opportunities to win gold forces you to buy items which people see as a money grab. The seasons pass offerings getting quite thin. The third offering in the latter which you pay for is a background to your profile. Nothing to do with decor items. More and more players are unhappy. Come on Redecor you can do better.

Downgraded my designer status. The season changed and they downgraded me from an A-list to Elite. After all the effort. Like, no, thank you. Deleting the app RN. Best of luck with this joke of a game.

The new version sucks👎👎👎. i uninstalled it because i ran of space on my phone, i reinstalled it because i really liked this app, the new version is so bad there are very few options, the client’s pick are so limited and most of them are locked, if you are out of tokens you can’t even design sometimes.. you can’t be creative anymore and they offer you all the timw to buy tokens 👎👎👎 very disappointed

still love the game. Look I really love this game - it’s totally Relaxing - I love designing - love that you can play for free even if it’s minimal - I love the no ads. BUT I know a lot of players are un happy with the recent changes, as am I. The voting does seem out of wack. And I could understand if you just lowered the amount of daily gold one gets - but you literally lowered how much gold - stars - and money you get - throughout the entire game. I don’t find that fair. Less money, gold and diamonds on winning - less money on voting along with no more star tokens or gold on voting anymore ? less money on making milestones like voting on 50 or 100 designs. Your gonna lose a lot of players rather then keeping them consistently happy so they actually wanna play your game. I hope enough people leave a review to tell you this - so you change it back to that way it was.

Voting System Recently Changed. I’ve been playing this game for almost a year now and I loved it (past tense). Recently the developers have made changes to the voting system and now you have people purposefully doing the worst designs they possibly can and getting first place just to show others that the system is broken. This has been going on for a few weeks and nothing has been done to fix it. I’m truly disappointed. This game has gone downhill fast. They’ve recently made another change where you now get less rewards if you don’t pay. Wow, just wow. Way to get players to leave!

Love this game but.... I have been playing this game daily for a very long time. Pretty much obsessed. However, they keep lowering the amount of gold that you can win. (Daily prize, design duals..) This is definitely not fair especially when it’s so expensive to buy anything. It won’t last long since everything cost a lot of gold or stars. Really really upset by this. Definitely making me almost not want to play anymore 😞😞😞

You are Messing Up What Used to be a Good App. First you change the voting to some mysterious system that no one understands and everyone HATES; now you have changed the reward payouts and not in a good way. You are arranging the challenges so it is required that money must be spent to have any chance of winning. There is some major greed going on with this Company. I already buy the Monthly Pass and also spend another $15 or so each month for other items. No more. ** Thanks Redecor for the same canned response that everyone else got and posted about on Facebook.

Everything gone !,. Jan 24 / 23. App was “down” for “maintenance “ but did come back on BUT had to sign in 🤔 wasn’t sure why??? All my history gone 😪 - player name and pic, designer status and hundreds of designs. Spent a lot of $ on your game and am a pretty upset user now Can you reinstate my history

Used to be good.. The game used to have much better rewards and I would often buy coins or gold if there was something I REALLY wanted but now the rewards have been lowered so much you HAVE to buy coins or gold in order to complete challenges sometimes. I had worked my way up to $400000 in cash and have played almost every day for the last year. I’m currently burning my way through my cash due to the awful changes and I’ll be leaving the game when its gone. At the current rate of crappy rewards it should take about 2 weeks. (I hate being FORCED into buying things that I used to be able to earn! ) Over 4000 challenges completed but you won’t get anymore money from me!

Disappointed. You used to be able to get money, gold, star tokens from voting, money from any place you got in the challenges but they took it all away. I’m only getting 75 from voting. You need more than 1000 to purchase any of the design stuff and it makes the game so un enjoyable. I get it they wanted players to pay for money and gold in the app, it fee ls so scummy. I don’t mind paying, but it shouldn’t be the only way I get any decent money so I can actually play the game. If they changed the voting back to how it was I’d give it 5 stars for sure.

Rules/game changes every month! Very expensive game.. Rules change every months… you buy items with real money, and the next month, you no longer have access to them! Winning is based on votation, not sure how many people vote! On the dual, 2hours voting, after 5 minutes into votation, you know the final votes, rarely changes…. I am currently a Legend, but I have spent a lot of money on this game. It used to be fun and not too expensive. It changed a lot.

Love the new updates but….. Loving the new updates but putting a reward limit on voting is beyond ridiculous you have to wait 12 hours for it to reset. It’s a money grab and you don’t even make enough to do one challenge. People will stop playing after this .

Amazing game!. It’s so rare to actually find games like this. First of all, I appreciate the way that the game is not just an “ad machine” that gives you a 30+ second ads every minute. Yes, there are in app purchases but the game is very playable without paying any money. I have only been play about two weeks and have won first place many times without buying anything so the game isn’t rigged like other people have said. Once you figure out a style that other players are more likely to vote on, it’s quite easy to place in the top 3. The voting system is fun and I personally take careful consideration over which one I like more but I realize many players may not play that way. Aside from the first few days I played, I haven’t had any problem earning money in the game. I think the developers made it extremely fair the way you can buy things with star tokens and the rate at which you earn them. There have been a few times I wished I could have unlocked something instantly but they make it reasonable. They could have made it impossible to win or give us tons of ads like a lot of other developers do these days. Overall it’s a very fun game!

Love it but expensive. Expect to pay money! Also recently with the last update they cut the daily gold coins from 500 to 300 and now you only receive 100 coins when previously it was 200. In addition it was at one time 400 gold coins when I first started. Considering more of the groups of decorating materials are in the gold coin category with a measly guarantee of 300 coins you will be buying more. Very expensive to buy with it costing $1.99 + tax for just 3000 gold coins. And a whopping $3.99+tax if you want to get star coins to open up more materials or buy a bundle of materials. Also if you open a level of new material - they don’t give you any uses - nope you have to buy those too. If you are lucky and come in 1st in your group of designers - you get 1000 gold coins and 6 materials to use for decorating. They should give only gold coin items since the cash items are way easier to acquire since you are rewarded cash after each challenge you enter. In addition they should give at least 5 uses like most other decorating games do. It would be nice if they gave 100 gold coins every time you enter a challenge maybe not the one you redecorate but the initial one.

Loooove the new look n updates. *Update* Thank You Thank You Thank You! You guys really listened to our frustration and now it feels so great to see that you care. The update is so awesome, now u can choose a purchase you wanted to decorate with, and this is the reason why its now so satisfying to decorate with your own choices. We appreciate the way we can now also preview items. Seriously big hug for this Im so happy! Its so disappointing when you purchase star tokens (with Real money) for home decor and are not allowed to choose which wallpaper, flooring, art or whatever else you really wanted. Why cant we decide or even see a preview pic of what we may be purchasing for decor? Not only do you not get to decide on the decor youre buying, whats even worse is purchasing decor, receiving just 3 options and ALL THREE items can only be bought with GOLD COINS! It feels like being taken advantage of. Purchasing items then not being able to use them until you either spend more money or you just have to wait until you earn enough coins to see what items you paid for. This app is so satisfying until this happens, and seems to happen every single time you spend your money on this app smh

Love it, but.... I found this app by accident and have played it every day since. It’s really fun to design and decorate especially if there’s a prompt to what style they are looking for. However, I must say I think as far as the scoring goes and where you place from 1-10 it seems like it’s all fake, okay wait let me choose a better word...strategic. I’ve seen many 1st place designs that were outrageous, for example, every single thing being pink or the cabinets were made out of marble??? I mean I know it’s a game so I can’t criticize too much, but if it’s a game that requires you to pay to to unlock the good materials faster they should have a better system in place for the people that are actually playing to win and buying stuff. At least have it where you have to use materials that make sense, like really, marble cabinets? Can you imagine opening those everyday? I’ve noticed a pattern of loses and wins and it makes it feel like a hoax so I’ve stopped buying stuff and have just been using the free materials and it’s the same kind of pattern of loses and wins. So, point is, it’s really fun but just don’t take it too serious. And if you won first place on your first design? Well I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I’m pretty sure everyone does 😃 Very fun game though!

Fun and challenging….but….. I’ve been playing Redecor for several months now. It’s a great outlet for artistic expression. I’m not spending money, so am limited a lot in the materials I use, but have still managed to win quite a few competitions. Voting is fun, you earn money and get to see cool designs that others have created. I think my only complaint is not the fault of the designers. It’s the result of the voting. This doesn’t only apply to me….others must notice. It seems like most often the winners are the least imaginative designs possible. Think of a white room with a beige chair and a beige door. Winner! I look at the other designs that are beautiful and wonder why this happens so often. I vote all the time and never see white rooms getting the most votes….but there they are! I remember one time designing a kids’ playhouse. I put together something with primary colors and it was cheerful and pretty cute. The winner didn’t even look like they had added any color other than white or grey. I know I wouldn’t make my kid’s playhouse so boring. That’s one example. I just looked through several of today’s competitions. Yup….more white rooms winning. This shows no imagination or attempt at creativity and kind of ruins the game for people who actually try to make something beautiful.

🥲 bye bye

I love the game but…... This is a really good game to play because everything looks so realistic but I really don’t get the voting. The person who creates the challenge let us know what they’d like and also says use preselected items but the winners some how always win with nothing that is of the challenge. How a challenge says make it colorful and for a little girl but the winner wins with nothing of that with a room clearly decorated for a little boy. There are people that actually follows the directions that should win and how come the person that creates the challenge doesn’t have a say so in the challenges?? I’m pretty sure they would not agree with the some of the winners on this app. Also I would also like to get the option that I tap on to pay for when choosing new things to use. I’d click on the item I want and end up with nothing that I wanted. I once had to purchase 3 times in a row just to get the item I really wanted. That’s not fair unless I’m really doing something wrong. And when we’re voting for other peoples designs we should be able to see what the challenge requirements were. That way we’d be able to see if people followed directions or went with their own things. I think that’s how the voting may be fixed a litte

Well designed game, but greed ruined it. It keeps getting worse. After the most recent redesign of the app, I no longer have access to materials that I paid real money to unlock because my game status has fallen too low. Game results are clearly being manipulated to encourage players to spend $8-10 to maintain access to materials they already purchased. This is not fun. ****** I understand game developers need to make money. I buy the optional season pass monthly because of this. When I first started playing, the season pass was sufficient to enjoy playing. Recently there have been changes to the way challenges are set up which are clearly designed to deplete users' in game cash reserves and encourage them to spend even more money. Challenges require users to expend significantly more materials than they did in the past (it seems almost double the number of materials for the average challenge) and rewards for winning are significantly less generous. Additionally, the game introduced something called the Cactus League which is designed to reward players for spending the most money on the game. It has taken the fun out of the game and has made me very reluctant to send them $5 a month for the season pass since the rewards for the Season Pass go so quickly and do not improve my enjoyment of the game. For the first time in a long time I did not buy the pass this month and I can't say I miss it.

How Low Can You Go⁉️. I love, or loved the Redecor game. When I first started playing it, I scored 1st place all the time. Then after a while I started scoring lower....and lower....and lower. It seems the more money I spend, the lower my scores go. You score rated on 1-10...if you get 1st place you get 6 gifts. Other players vote for best design in a group of 10, but ive been told that algorithm has a lot to do with it too. I'm spending $100 -$150 a week in this game. It's doing just like every other decor game I've played....I start out very strong....then my scores go lower and lower. I'm scoring at the lower end of 10 much of the time now, even tho my style is the same. I LIKE the app now, not as much as before tho. Not since my score keeps going lower and lower. Every single app I get into ends up doing this. Talking to other players on social media I'm discovering that this happens to a lot of people. If you want to play the game I'd suggest to not even worry about spending your money to buy the points you Ned for certain s decor and just stick with the points you earn and the decor you get that way. They also used to hav fashion apps occasionally where you could do outfits, but I haven't seen these for a long time either. It's fun, just very frustrating and I don't like to wast my money on a game that I can't get anywhere in.

So disappointed in developers greediness. Two months ago I would have rated ReDecor 5 stars and raved if only being a smidge embarrassed at the ridiculous amount of time I spent playing. Today, not so much. I am terribly disappointed by the developers lowering the daily bonus and duel winner gold amounts. Not to mention that receiving gold from voting appears to be impossible. I’ve only been playing for maybe 4 months but have bought 3 season passes and probably spent at least $100 of my husbands hard earned money purchasing star tokens and yes, gold. If the developers think that by lowering the gifted amount of gold will drive me to actually purchase more they have lost their minds. If they are going to be greedy and stingy, then so will I; you won’t be getting another dime from me and I hardly have any interest in playing any longer. I understand it’s a game, and things shouldn’t be given away but with what the decor items actually cost, going back to the previous, or better yet slightly increase the amounts of reward gold won’t hurt you. While I’m at it, how about gold being an option for voting again? On a different note, how about those players that don’t follow the “clients” decor wishes don’t get the opportunity to win??!?!! The players with god awful taste are bad enough, but not following the guidelines and placing higher than those that do just isn’t right.

Would give 5 stars but…. This is a VERY fun & creative app, it’s by far the best redecorating app I’ve ever used! It’s quite competitive as well, which really helps you to hone your skill, but leads to the reason I’ve given just 4 stars: please be aware that this app is also VERY addictive & you can end up spending a substantial amount of money each month! First, you must pay for each “season pass” that allows you to decorate certain rooms & gets you quite a few additional decoration items as well as “money” & “gold” which are my ONLY bones of contention. You need one or the other to buy or replenish your stock of all textiles, art & other decorator items. You do win nominal amounts of money for every design you complete, for voting (how the design winners are chosen) & 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners also get a gold reward. But you will find, VERY often, that you need more to get the items you really want (the best items most always cost gold!) & you can purchase gold, which if you’re anything like me you’ll do often ~ there was one month I spent over $110 on it! If you can afford it, or give yourself a strict budget that you can stick to, this is a really great app! Even with the in-app purchases, it’s my favorite app!!!

The game is great…except…. First of all, I do thoroughly enjoy this game. I especially like the challenges where the options are limited because it reminds me of my art school days and challenging assignments. I do think the cost of items has gone up though and the amount of choices you get is lower than it was before. I used to purchase the monthly design theme but have stopped for the following reason. I don’t see people following the directions very much. Many times, when the description is to make something colorful or boldly patterned the top winners are usually using bland beige or white themes with a minimum of patterns. It’s like if you really want to win first place just use white, beige or tan. There are so many fun colors and prints that I have decided to just have fun with designs instead of trying to win. I see so many great designs (and designs that follow the description) end up with 6-10 just because they are bold and colorful. In the scheme of things winning isn’t that important but it’s not fair that someone should get all the prizes associated with 1st place when they haven’t even followed the directions. Maybe there needs to be two Redecor games - one for color lovers and the regular one that prefers subtly.

Enjoy the app, but at a price... literally.. I do enjoy challenges presented and designing a nice color pallet in this app. It’s addictive! HOWEVER, I find that there are a very limited means of materials available to design. If you want more options, you have to buy them. I understand the business aspect, but it’s difficult to be “successful” in the game with such few options! I’ve made purchases a few times, but on a recent occasion, I was overcharged! (Coins... or something of the sort... were $9.99 and got charged over $40!) I also noticed that when I’ve achieved the top prizes, the coins, dollars, etc don’t always add up correctly. I know I’ve been shortchanged on that too. Plus— I really wonder how you’re “placed” to earn these prizes. Supposedly it’s according to votes by other players, but I doubt that’s solely the method used. There are no real directions issued either (like how to earn 5 stars, tips on usages, etc. i also have missed notification of my daily coin prizes- even when I’ve checked to claim them). All in all- it’s a great app. It’s fun, relaxing, challenging, but there are several design flaws and bugs that need to be addressed. Just take note on the addition of your cash/coins and be careful not to spend too much money on additional materials. You can get carried away and it can be pricey!

Great app but not perfect. This is a fun and very entertaining app. You design areas or rooms and then it goes to voting for a certain amount of time. The top three winners receive prizes. The graphics are top notch and the design items within the app are excellent and a really fun and varied selection. The problems come in the voting process which obviously has faults. And a prize for a 5 star rating which is no longer possible to achieve. The bigger issue is how to obtain gold and star tokens, which is very stingy and hard to get. You get 4 star tokens for each design you complete as long as it has a 4.0* rating. FOUR. Like seriously??? And it takes on average 150+ tokens to unlock three choices of one item, so it's pretty ridiculous, unless you want to spend lots of your real money. The season pass for $4.99 is the only thing worth it. Also getting gold is equally ridiculous. Earning cash is easy. But because of these pretty major flaws I will be burning out on this one in just a matter of time. If they made star tokens and gold a bit easier OR reduced the amount of items that require gold OR reduced the amount of star tokens to unlock...OR something! Too bad, because it's a great concept. But unless you're a real life big spender, it's too limiting.

Please roll back changes in the last update. I’ve been playing Redecor for awhile …love using it to wind down, but the changes in the last update are making it hard to play at all. I can’t see what I do/don’t own — sometimes things are showing up under “owned” or sometimes under “recently purchased” it’s super annoying. There’s also issues of trying to select and area and it suddenly jumping to select another area. And the change to not be able to use gold when you run out of dollars — is just a pain. I also agree with all of the other comments that they’ve narrowed the design options so much for the new challenges that it’s taking the fun out of the game. The fun of a design game is actually making something that you like and when there are so few things to select from (and none of them make any sense together) it’s like “cool, just designed another ugly room.” All to say, I’m giving a low rating to draw the developers attention to how much these updates have really ruined a lot of playability of the game. I would like to keep playing and would be happy to give a higher score if they can fix some of these problems. (I also paid to access season pass items many times in the past and might again in the future, but not if it’s too frustrating to play at all)

AWESOME for starting up players…not current.. This was, for me, a five-star app. That’s very high praise, if you would know me personally. Most are about 4, but I only write reviews when there are drastic changes. Until the Victorian Mansion season, (October 2022) there were two types of currency, and stars to unlock things. They’ve changed the currency to coins, which happened midway through the season (not just at the start of the Fresh Start season, as they’d have you think, which is November 2022.) Not only did they adjust the payments for voting to lower, they changed the “podium” system and rewards/unlocks as well. 1st place would receive 6 things, and everyone else would receive money for submissions. Now, that I thought was awful, and they did adjust it accordingly. But now, instead of the 850 per 5 votes, it’s 700. And instead of a steady 6500 coins every several hours in store, it’s that once, followed by 3500. And the challenge rewards have gone down. Now for the biggest issue. I had purchased star coins for unlocks, and received unlocks for winning various 1st place prizes. They are GONE. They have a new system, and despite PAYING customers having had things they bought with REAL MONEY, they just took them. And their prizes, too. I cannot get behind that change, I am not here for it. When you try to get support, you need a specific app to even be able to email them. I don’t even want to play anymore.

Don’t get sucked in. This game ~technically~ provides an avenue for players to earn in-game currency without spending any real life money, and the developers are quick to point this out, but as many other reviews have highlighted, the rate at which you can earn free in-game currency doesn’t even come close to allowing you to play competitively. You need to sink a bunch of money into this game to have any fun, and that’s just the bottom line. Even when I caved and bought some tokens (with real money) to unlock new items, I thought I would be unlocking a whole new set, but it turns out that I could only unlock 3 items within the set, and I didn’t get to choose which ones. And that was only to unlock them. I still had to buy them with in-game currency to actually put them to use. I admit that this game is very aesthetically pleasing and starts out as a relaxing way to pass the time, but it will quickly force you to either spend money, or quit out of frustration. Furthermore, I don’t expect the developers to do anything about this, because I know that this game’s fatal flaw is by design. It’s a trap to get people to spend money and they will never adjust the absurdly slow rate at which you earn in-game currency for free. I would far prefer a game that costs anywhere between 5-10 dollars in the App Store, and then required no in-app purchases to actually have fun after the initial cost.

Love this game, but….. This game is by far my favorite design game. You can actually tailor your designs picking your own fabric, walls, floors etc. BUT…I absolutely hate the level up re-starts at the beginning of the month. I worked like crazy to get to level 9. You had to win 80 placements in level 8 to get to level 9. That’s a minimum of wining 3 places every day for the month. That’s a lot of stress, a lot of playing to get to that level. I got to that and had 7 placements going into level 10 by the end of the month. New month comes, my 7 placements are gone and now I have to “win” 80 placements just to “secure” level 9. You have to win 150 placements to get to level 10. That’s 5 placements EVERY SINGLE DAY! It’s going to be virtually impossible because you do have to purchase coins to be able to design that many to beat the odds of getting a placement. I spent way to much money last month to get the next level. I won’t do it again. I like the game, and I’ll keep playing but I’m not going to purchase any more and put stress on me to place to keep a level. That should be changed. Once you’re at a level you should be able to keep it. You shouldn’t be required to place so many before the end of the month to secure your level and you certainly shouldn’t lose what you’ve already won at the end of the month.

Redecor is My Obsession. Once I started playing Redecor I dropped Home Design like a bad habit. Redecor is by far the best design game out there. There’s nothing else like it. After you play a while all other design games just look silly and unsophisticated. I’ve been playing for several years and I look forward to each design with as much excitement as I did when I first started playing. I buy the season pass - that’s all. If you do that and play as many challenges as you can (do a redesign on each one too) then you will earn enough money, gold and coins to play and have a good time. I really appreciate that there aren’t ads or stupid games you have to play. I also like that voting isn’t tedious like it is in Home Design. So hands down this is my favorite game ever and I highly recommend it. Almost all of the challenges are amazing and challenging but there are few duds....and I only say that because the limited choices in some designs are frustrating. The design team you have is absolutely incredible and I totally appreciate what they do everyday to bring us fresh and beautiful blank slates to fill! Thanks for the amazing game I appreciate you.

I LOVE this game but…. I started playing this game during the COVID-19 lockdown. Like many others have said, it is relaxing and a fun way to be creative! Because I have been playing this game for so long I obtained multiple materials, artwork, and decor. I often pay for the “monthly pass” and extra tokens and coins. I’ve put a lot of time into Redecor creating designs and moving through the ranking system. I have enjoyed creating and voting on other players designs. I hadn’t played for awhile and picked up playing again recently. However, with this new update, materials I had once obtained are now “locked”. I noticed this when a go-to pattern wasn’t showing up in my catalog. There is a place under your account where you can see everything that is available both locked and unlocked based on the new ranking system. I am really frustrated by this as I put a lot of time and effort into the game. I almost feel as if I’ve been cheated because I’m unable to utilize everything I once had. I really hope this is fixed because it’s unfair to players who’ve been playing a long time. I still really enjoy this game and will continue to play. I’m just a but frustrated with the newest update and point system. I hope this gets fixed soon!

Addictive but frustrating game. I love the game, it’s the best decorating game I’ve come across. Can’t afford to play much longer tho the way all the costs are going up. I buy the season pass but can’t afford to spend any more than that meanwhile they keep giving us more and more challenges to do to win a small amount in prizes. You almost have to spend out of pocket to complete the challenges. I’m so frustrated that I’ve quit doing the duels & challenges & just try to submit one or 2 designs a day when I have the funds. The new version of the game brought a couple of improvements. One is a single game currency used to purchase all decorating items, the other is ability to improve your “Designer Status” through podium placements which will give you access to special decorating items which theoretically will give you more wins. I have not seen this working for me yet. It all depends on voting and I’ve seen beautiful designs place very low while some really ugly ones win. Not really fair to the good designers who work hard for wins. Something I think the game really needs is a search feature so you can search for a specific color (or item if you know the name of it)

Money Grab. I have never written a review but after a few days of playing this I just have to. It could really be good but every single thing is behind a pay wall. Sure you can play without money. But you get the crappiest looking tacky outdated fabrics to work with that you are forced to use in a design even though you used in-game funds to buy nice ones on a different challenge. You don’t know until you start the next challenge that you can’t use anything else unless you pay real cash to buy more. Result: schizophrenic looking designs that do not represent the style you are going for. I spend money on games like this that are free to play but have extras to pay for. THIS game is all money. Season pass (monthly), coins to change your profile picture, coins to change your bio. Cash if you want to use anything. I didn’t realize this and accidentally pressed the wrong button and spent the small initial amount I had given to me at the start of the game. I emailed them but I’ve heard nothing. I gave it a good shot but it’s just not fun. I refuse to spend money on a game that forces you to. I would rather pay a one-time fee to play. The really good games out there make it fun and also enticing to pay for extras or a one-time fee. This one is just depressing. It’s too bad because it’s a great concept. The app works well. Besides the money grab and next to nothing in the FAQ, keep looking for another game. You’ll thank me later.

Great Game that Still Needs Work. This game is a wonderful outlet for Home Decorators, with a few minor issues. You decorate the area that is given to you and upon completion your design is put into a group of nine other people (10 total in the group). You can see where the app randomly places you in your group. The person who has spent the most money on the design seems to have an advantage over the others in the group. Every vote the person gets raises their design value, as it also raises your value for every vote that you get. It seems the person who started with a lesser design dollar amount invested in the design needs to get more votes than the higher dollar room just to catch up with them. In case of a tie, the win goes to the highest design dollar amount. This is completely unfair in a free to play app. Dollar amount spent on the design should have absolutely no place in determining a winner. Every design should be shown to the exact same number of random voters. 6 months later..... there is definitely something hinky with the voting system. A lot of manipulation seems to be going on in the voting by the game developers. Also bonus awards over level 40 are not equal for every player. Bonus awards are being compared on Facebook and people who spend money are getting better bonus awards. There has got to be something illegal about this.

Was 5 star, then came this latest update. Loved this app and have enjoyed the experience and the options available, both free and paid. The competition is fun as is seeing the styles from other users that are something I hadn’t considered that look fantastic. The downside is something that just happened - an app update that significantly changed the functionality and performance for the worse. I use the app on an iPad Pro and whatever the intent was with this last app update, it is NOT a good experience. Everything is sluggish and drags now, and there are all kinds of frustrating issues and functionality loss. For instance, you used to be able to select part of a design (like a faucet, drawer, countertop, trim) to replace the material used. Now, unless you remember exactly where the tiny white bubble was before selecting the original material, you pretty much have to poke around and hope you can find the spot to replace it with something else (and end up changing things you didn’t want to change), or you must clear it all and start the entire design over. I can tell you this much, it is not a good experience and I’ve given up on several designs in the past 24 hours because of it. If there is anyway we can roll this thing back and get the previous version, please make it happen.

Redecor. Excellent help for interior design and art concepts you can implement in your office or home. Have enjoyed this very much, but have become retired with health issues. This keeps my mind alert and happy, not depressed. Not having long to live, it certainly is appreciated to have the free game available to me. Despite all the lies I hear about how much seniors are getting their windfall help in health programs and more money available to them, the fact is the stimulus programs equal more taxes on seniors having issues with keeping good health and all the complications in politics, the medical system, etc. and so forth. Please help me to keep games like Redecor or Designing Home. They really are needed to help keep mental health in check and minds free from depression. I do not see people as I am isolated at home with low income which is fixed to meet basic needs. I worked for a retirement for many years. My retirement only covered about 25 years, but I worked almost 45 years of work-life and have helped organizations when working, church, family, community. Now I am old and dependent on my small retirement. I do and have enjoyed these games so much. It is hard to face dementia and memory loss. Thank you.

Ok but pricey. This game is fun but it is impossible to get the good decor items unless you pay a ton of money. It takes forever to earn stars to unlock new items and so many gold bars to pay for a lot of unlocked items. I can maybe get one new item a day for free which can really limit your options when you have only a few things the client approved and you can maybe afford one or two. You should be able to buy gold with money because that is easier to earn. They should also give you more stars and gold for playing. My other issue is just the taste level of my fellow voters. Most of the time the rankings are reasonable, but once in a while I think people are honestly voting for the ugliest designs as a joke. Or I guess some people just really love giant sunflowers and the color brown. You can’t take it too seriously because what is considered good design by magazine / architecture standards does not matter here. I agree with other reviews also that no one bothers with the brief. I stopped following it also because there is no point. So - I think it is fun but I almost wish there was a non-voting aspect where you could just do designs. Other people could see them and comment but no votes. And it would be way better if you could unlock more items each day.

Does Mr. Potter run Redecor?. I’ve been playing for over a year. I buy the Season Pass each month. I’ve purchased coins several times in the past. It is the best home decorating app out there and I love playing. But it’s Christmas. While many online games give gifts on major holidays, I cannot access two of the designs because I don’t own any of the items within the “designer’s choice.” I only have 132 tokens right now, and it takes 300 to unlock three new items. Then you have to pay for them! There have been a number of launches recently, and I cannot keep up. Those behind Redecor are the biggest misers online. The “deals’ offered aren’t really deals. They are stingy with unlocks and they increasingly make “gold coin” items more accessible than the less costly “money” items. I’ve never received an anniversary gift, a holiday bonus … nada. Instead, they “launch” increasingly expensive decor items. And why on is a single plant more expensive than countertops? Continuity people! So I’m thinking of calling it a day and am hoping the marketplace will offer another high quality decor game that appreciates its players. I might be willing to spend a bit now and again if they showed me any love. But no love- not even on Christmas. Boo.

Awesome game!!!!. so I started playing this game when i started getting into interior design and stuff like that. i saw an ad for this app so I decided to try it out. it’s been a year since I started playing and boy have I loved it! so basically you get to try design challenges and make your own designs and compete against other people and vote. there are so many cool materials to try out but the only problem is that some materials are locked and can only be bought with star tokens, which take a long time to get. it might just be me but I only get a couple at a time and getting materials are really expensive in star tokens. …maybe decrease the cost cause that would be great! otherwise super great game to have fun and compete with likeminded people. another thing that would be really cool would be to add a free play option to just kind of learn and not have every design to be in a competition. but yeah, definitely download this game it’s super fun and creative and also the update of combining the cash with the gold into one new currency has been suuppperrr helpful!!! sorry if this was too long but this is such a great game I’m so attached!!!!!!!

This would’ve been 5 stars…. I want to start off by saying I’ve been playing this game for a while now. When I first played this game I was HOOKED! I LOVED this game. But I’ve been noticing over time that this game has been cutting back the amounts on prizes. From entry cash to winning a duel…those prizes and entrance fees have been cut. BUT then you add this tournament…a tournament where you have to do double entries to win “experience points” (for 2nd place at least). No money prize, no new or unlocked fabrics just experience points. Before this tournament started I had over $500,000. Now I’m down to $300,000 and you guys are steadily cutting prizes for even winning regular competition. I see you want us to but more in game purchases but yet you only offer separate things and only bundle deals on occasion. Which makes me think this game is becoming money hungry. Cutting prizes while putting on the tournament where you have to spend to win is taking away the original lure of this game. Personally I see what you’re doing and l’m not a fan of being “forced” to spend money to succeed. I hope every has fun competing but I will be doing the BARE minimum. You can keep the experience points for winning second place. I really hope you guys offer more for winning first.

Love App, BUT..... Love the app! However, when reading the descriptions and requirements from the clients about what they want/don’t want I can’t figure out how or why some designs win or take rank over other ones when simple rules/requests weren't even followed by the designer. I get we all have limited resources but if it says no natural no earthly colors only bright colors how does a natural design win over a colored design? It can be very confusing and frustrating to say the least. I guess I will just have to create just to create and not pay attention to the rankings because there is no point in putting time and effort (sometimes over an hour hemming and hawing on what fits/looks best like it’s a work or school project not just a paint by numbers) in to be bumped by someone that didn’t even read or put the effort in to get part of the clients requests right. I know when voting it says pick best one AND unless it’s one I already read and did I usually remember oh the client wanted this or that for this design and I try and pick out in each one who represented those requests bests. Sorry for the rant. I know free app to design I get it do it or don’t lol just had to put that out there. Thanks for listening. 😂

Love this game!!!. This game is awesome and fun!!! It can be competitive, but very enjoyable. The only thing I don’t like is that people do not follow the brief, so it can be very frustrating when someone who never follow the brief, continuously wins. The all white rooms drive me bananas, and they seem to win all the time. Seems an unfair advantage for the other players who do follow the brief. That’s the reason I only gave four stars . Other than that, I highly recommend and enjoy a lot! Have fun! This is in addition to my post, there’s been lots of changes most of which I really enjoy! However there are quite a few glitches including shutting down numerous times. They still don’t follow the brief, and they say it’s because they want to give people creative license. However I don’t see anything very creative in all white beige or gray rooms but to each their own. And if that is the case I don’t understand why there are briefs at all. I enjoy following them because I find it challenging sometimes, and it keeps me from doing the same old design over and over again. Still highly recommend this game though! Really enjoyable

Great Game!. I believe this is by far the best decorating game out there. The design materials are varied and new collections come out pretty recently. The room designs look very realistic, and it is very satisfying to put together a beautiful design to submit. The only thing that I have found frustrating, and therefore would love to submit to the developers for review, are the challenges in which almost every element (and sometimes every element) has pre-selected materials to choose from. Usually only a couple of collections are available and other times only about 12 random materials. And there seems to be no rhyme or reason to what is pre-selected. It can make it very difficult to put a design together that I like, so I’ll just quit and not finish the design. Just today, there was a design I was really looking forward to completing, but I found so few pre-selected materials that I thought worked together that I just exited the challenge. I don’t mind one or two elements being pre-selected. That can even be nice as it gives the player a good starting point and direction. But every element being pre-selected limits creativity and is frustrating. With that being said, I do think over all it’s a great game and the developers do a great job.

Good way to piddle your money away. There is only one good aspect of this app—there are no ads. If you want to spend a minimum of $5/month to the-sky’s-the-limit then this is for you. I’ve played it daily for about a month without buying, just earning game money. However the real frustration is that even though I have literally 698 items/materials in my inventory, they greatly restrict your access to them in each project. The most extreme example is several projects will give you access to maybe 3 or NONE of your inventory, forcing you to buy if you want to do that project. In addition 98-99% of the materials for purchase are locked up. To unlock, you have to use star tokens which are take a looong time to earn and are expensive to buy. You can buy 250 tokens for $4 but it takes 150 or 250 to unlock just one item. After you unlock it you still have to buy it. After about 6 weeks of playing I am getting locked out of more and more of my “earned” inventory. Additionally, and many have complained about this, there’s something screwy in the voting. Obviously dull or just plain bad designs, more often then not, will come out ranking higher than better ones. I think it is set up for newbies to come out better in the voting so that they will keep playing and buy the in-app purchases with real dollars. Like I said pay-to-play for a few minutes of enjoyment and nothing tangible. I’m done with it.

What happened?!. This game used to be the best of its kind out there, in my opinion. It had a lot more choices freely available for creativity. It took my mind off my anxiety, and I could play for hours a day…Now lately, I've noticed that more and more materials are locked. For a lot of challenges, you have to purchase items with real money to design at all, or even get a decent design win. Even then you only get a few, and have to buy them again, and the very little amount of gold coins we receive for the “cold coin” items is audacious. We already have to keep buying items with the game money after 5 uses, when they could just stay in inventory. To do this on top of that is ridiculous. I’ve spent a lot of time building up my game money to do more challenges, only for this to happen. Too many times I have fallen in love with an app, only for it to be ruined by a crappy update, or whoever the developer is now. A lot of these apps are starting to look more like a cash grab, stripped completely of creative freedom. Especially this one. This takes away the fun in the game. Who wants to spend money on a app, where the developers clearly don’t care about their players?! Now I feel forced to buy items in order to enjoy it. I'm very disappointed, and plan on uninstalling this game, if this is how it’s going to be. Waste of space. Please listen to your players!

Fun but some drawbacks. This is a solid game, but it could be better. First, there are a lot of times that the design style/elements/colors are specified, but the top designs bear absolutely no resemblance to the instructions. I get that in the real world designers should think outside of the box, but a designer who tosses out their client’s basic vision and substitutes their own would (and should) not be a designer for very long. If a client asks for blue, a black, white, and yellow design with zero actual blue anywhere shouldn’t be given 5 stars and shouldn’t place in the top 3 at least. Fix the algorithm to spot a failure to follow the basic instructions. Otherwise, people quickly get tired of following the instructions just to see others ignore them and get ahead. Second, develop a way to unlock even just a few items by using cash or gold. Or allow players to use their game money to purchase stars (e.g. 500 cash for 10 stars). The game could offer temporary unlocks of items for particular challenges, or access by opting into advertisements. I get that the point is to have players spend money to get access, but if you’re not into spending way too much cash on virtual decor, the lack of variety gets boring quickly, especially with artwork and accessories.

Love this game but frustrated.. I love this game so much. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever had, but it’s also a very frustrating game. First of all, I don’t mind having to have the tokens to unlock new stuff, but the price is very steep. And then when I do unlock a box, I only get 3 items at a time. If I’m gonna spend anywhere from 100 to 200 tokens to unlock boxes I’d like to get more than 3 items. Tokens aren’t easy to come by unless I want to spend a ton of money I do not have, so when I do spend them, I feel gypped. And if you were to buy tokens the cheapest available option is still $3.99 and you only get 250, that’s only one to two uses depending on the box. I feel stuck creatively or unable to participate on certain challenges because it takes forever to build up enough tokens, and a lot of challenges require picking from a certain box. So I’m left with either no picks cause I haven’t unlocked it yet and can’t afford to unlock it, or only a few that I don’t want to use and that’s very frustrating. I get to where I’ll just quit playing for a while because of it and then I’ll try to play again because I love it only to stop playing again when I inevitably get frustrated. So, please, it would be great if you could make unlocking the boxes less expensive or provide more ways to earn tokens.

Not what I expected. Nicely designed game but from the ads I thought the game would be quite different in that I would be aiming to get a high score from the “client”. Instead, every design is entered in a vote and while everyone gets a prize, only the #1 winner earns new unlocked materials which is what you really need, as it is tough to win with your limited design options unless you pay $$ to unlock more design swatches. You are often competing with players at a higher level or fatter wallets and your competition often are not following or can not follow the design parameters. For example the instructions may say to use blues, but you may not “own” the blue materials selected for that competition, or maybe you use blues but the winner uses a completely different color palette. The designs are fun and it is nice to see the talent, but when you see some winners you realize it may often take luck from the voters to win. Also when you unlock items you get a random selection and you may not even like those items, so there is not much incentive to go that route if you are on a budget. I would like to find a version of this game that I can just buy with everything unlocked and contentedly play with designs.

Addictive but Irritating. I’ve been playing this game on my iPad for four months. Initially I loved it and couldn’t get energy ugh even though I was spending $10 or more every day. B I would do the challenge and watch how it was ranking over the first day, look at the others in my heat, then try my hand at a doing the challenge a second time. It was great fun. (Basically, you are in a group of ten - the lowest you can rank is ten and the lowest score is 3.72 on a scale of 5. Perfection is a 5 and hard for most of us to achieve. There are enough people playing that you almost never recognize another player.). Recently, they stopped showing the actual ranking during the day or two the challenge is in process. I’ve had many that showed number 1 or 2 that ended up 8 or 9. You don’t have any idea how you’re doing until the end. I contacted support and was first told it was a new issue. The next week said the programmers were working to fix it. The next week “they were looking into it.” So basically, they have started changing how the game works with no announcement. They reduced the daily gold award. I could go on an on but the bottom line: Don’t get invested in this game. Only play if you make a decision to NEVER invest real money in it. There is much dissatisfaction with the game and the support people.

Feedback. Let me start by saying I love this game. I’ve been playing it for years, and it’s the ONLY game I’ve ever spend real money on. HOWEVER, the game has changed so much recently. Now every challenge is “use preselected materials”. Materials are very difficult to obtain without spending real money and it ‘appears’ to be a ploy to get more in game purchases by the developer. The whole point of this game is to be creative and with so many different available materials it’s hard to get one in every category that they may require for that challenge. They have also increased the cost to use each material making your coins run out faster (also a ploy to get you to spend actual money on coins) While I love that this game doesn’t have ads, I would much rather watch ads to get free materials to continue designing. To reiterate, I have spent actual money on this game but I refuse to keep spending to keep playing. With the way it’s going, I will be uninstalling a game I love out of frustration real soon. Still giving 4 stars because I do love the idea and execution of the game. I just hate the money grabbing that’s going on right now. Hope my feedback is taken into account by the developers because I guarantee I’m not the only loyal player that feels this way.

Rating System Is Awful. The designing process was fun but I found the rating system was rather weird and funky. So I found out today from their responses to other comments that the ratings are based on votes from other users AS WELL AS WHO SPENT THE MOST MONEY ON THE DESIGN. That would explain why there are sometimes weaker designs got higher places. They never told you money is part of the equation and I thought it was common sense for a designer to be budget conscious. I disagree with more money spent = better design but if that’s the rule at least make users aware of it so they can factor it when they design and when they try to make sense of their rankings. The voting part is also a bit concerning. They often pair two very different styles of design and ask you to pick the best, and most of times it would just come down to personal taste. Why bother having all the instructions on bold design or modern style when voters don’t even read the instructions and just choose whatever is the most pleasing to their eyes and personal taste. The fun part of playing a game is to learn the rules and strategize to win. But when the whole rating system has nothing to do with the rules they told you (ie to create a good design that suits the client) it just takes out much of the fun.

I love this game, but…. First of all, I love this game! It’s so fun to play. Me and my mom play it, and we have so much fun playing it together. This game is one of the few decor games that are actually fun. But I have a few suggestions and complaints. First, my mom thinks that this game cheats. She’s bought stuff and bought stuff and she says that she always has to buy more, like when she buys it, it disappears and becomes more expensive. And when it comes to voting, every design that wins is usually either white or gray. Think about it, would you want your kitchen or living room pure white. I know everybody has different taste, but it’s like they just throw it together, pick everything that’s white and don’t spend any time on it and win. The people that actually spend time and money on it don’t win. I made a design that I was very proud of and it’s in 8th place. What’s in front is all brilliant colors that don’t match at all. It’s very unimaginative. And I think that it takes to long for the designs to come out and to get the voting results. One of them I turned in and it took three days to get the results, but then my design suddenly vanished. Anyway, I think it’s a really fun game, and I would definitely recommend it. Just be prepared because it can get quite expensive.

love this app but…. i always find that i redownload this app every few years, wondering y i ever deleted it…. then i realize y. u dont have access 2 any items unless u use real money! i love this game because i have vry addictive tendencies with shopping and it has put me in2 serious financial positions many times…. i use games like this 2 get the same feeling without spending real money! its a fun and free alternative- except when it actually DOES require my money. i play another game called SuitU (a dress up game) and i think the game devs 4 this app should look 2 them 4 inspo…. they have a lot more options 4 players 2 interact w each other, more options 4 daily goals, ur able 2 convert some in game “lower value” currency 2 get high value currency…. there r many options 4 daily gifts and gatcha spins. with all those benefits, i dont mind occasionally watching an ad! anyways, i love this game and the concept, and it is great 4 a few hrs- but its frustrating when u cant unlock anything else no matter WHAT (unless u have the special coins- or u buy them with money…) i hope this can b fixed because it seems a lot of ppl r feeling the same way… but its been years and it seems the problem still remains. hopefully this review will mean something.

Recent updates make it too hard to level up. In the last month, the game was changed to make it “faster” to level up. You now have half the time to reach the points required to level up or maintain your designer status. This would be fine if you needed half as many points as before, but instead it’s made it so you basically have to play and win nearly every round to level up. On the live rounds, I do pretty well, and have maintained my status, which is good because I’d be extremely annoyed to not be able to access items I’ve purchased that are no longer within my design status. On the journal rounds, I often score one or two hearts, which seems odd given how well I usually do on the live rounds. Overall, I really enjoy playing the game. The season pass is reasonably priced and the game is still my favorite. The faster level up scoring just seems to need adjusting, and the journal scoring again seems frankly odd, especially when I vote and see some of the designs that get three hearts. I’ve played this game for years and my best guess is people are either deliberately choosing the ugliest designs, or not really paying attention while voting.

Agree with Vintage Melon. I completely agree with Vintage Melon, accept for....the first win is set up for you to get 1st place, you always are in the top 10 because that is all you are being judge against in a group for your designs and possibly the in app purchase....you CAN earn more if you get your free items which are just enhanced if you paid for a season pass (which I agree I would t pay for one either) and daily claim which is increases your coins daily. I personally feel that judging may be done against others designs that are not even within my group I am up against so when I see designs that are not following the directions and are ABSOLUTELY HORRID, place way higher or even first place I get annoyed and frankly, ticked off. There are so many better designs most times. I say this not as a personal opinion but from a design critique aspect. I put aside my personal taste and critique using the requirements as well as my knowledge both from my college art degree as well as my creative eye to loom for the elements of design when voting and designing. I would hope the voting were a little better designed. Is it even grouped by the 10 in the same group against each other? Voted in by outsiders?

Excellent App!. Update! The issue below is resolved! I think the voting may always be curious but I’m ok with it. We should all be ok with it. This app is worth a tiny frustration once in a while. Thanks to the team at Redecor for replying to my review. You guys are great! Original review: The new auto switching around of design materials is literally making me dizzy. That’s my only complaint. Well, that and if you’re very sensitive to people winning without following design instructions, it might not be great for you. I hear they’re working on that. Overall though, this is the best design app out there. It’s impressive and realistic, has a zillion choices, fun rooms to design, great incentives, and once you get the hang of it, you won’t need to make purchases. That being said, the monthly design seasons are only $5- and you get a lot for it. It’s worth it. I’m convinced there is an algorithm but also combined with user voting. It bothered me a bit at first (the voting/winning) but it’s an APP! NOT REAL. So I got a grip and keep that in mind. It’s super fun and it’s how I relax. Or was….like I said- the new switchy thing makes me dizzy. I should probably just put my phone down and go ride a bike or something. Probably fall off of it. Decisions, decisions…

New lighting option and the new levels. The new lighting option sounds like a good idea but it is a one use purchase. In the past version of the game with the one use floor or table accessories it was optional to use those items or not, to complete your design. With this lighting option you have to use it and it is unflattering to the design unless you unlock and purchase the dimmer which is also a one time purchase. So now every time you have this in the design you are forced to purchase both if you want the design to be complete and look good. It is about a 16,000 coin purchase. So what seems like a great incentive to level up you are now forced into a harsh lighting disaster that cost so much extra. This is just a forced way to make you purchase more! Also, they reconfigured the whole game so the you now the designers are in levels. While doing this they took items away that you had earned or purchased with your own cash or coins. They basically STOLE your items and now you have to level up again to get what you already earned or bought. Needless to say, this new version stinks!

Charging for extra without recourse. Back when I was playing this game, I fell in love with it. I made a lot of purchases without keeping track and suspected extra items were being tacked on, but since I wasn’t keeping track, I could not prove it. I decided to not use the app for a full 24hrs and then purchase two items and as I suspected, they tacked on a third. I contacted them and they said they couldn’t refund me and I had to contact Apple. I did and they refunded me. I loved this app so much I decided to keep using thinking that if this happened again, I could just get a refund. Nope. I suppose the first one is merely a courtesy refund and they assume all subsequent requests are fraudulent so they refused to refund me when it happened again. I deleted the app when I realized I would not get another fraudulent charge back and ANOTHER fraudulent charge came through 24hrs after I deleted my app. Apple even refused to refund that. So, I deleted all payment info from Apple (this game’s items are the only media I have ever purchased) and will never purchase another app or its items from Apple again. I decided not to have my Apple ID locked for challenging a couple of dollars with my bank. I will also never use this app again which is a shame because I did love it. Please pay attention to what you purchase and look at your receipts and ensure they match. They are making off like bandits with people’s money and then refusing to refund them.

Disappointing in many ways. I originally really liked this game. It was fun to decorate rooms with different colors and fabrics. but they have people vote on your rooms and decorations, and you usually compete against 9 people or one person. I found myself usually getting ninth or 10th place all the time because I like to use colors when I decorate. That was very disheartening, because I found that nearly everyone who won first place uses all white. A game where the only winners are the ones who decorate everything in white becomes very boring after a while. When they limit the colors you can use, I usually fared much better. However, for those of us who don’t spend money or play infrequently, we are pitted against people who have access to multiple fabrics, colors and paintings we’ve not seen, and once again it makes it difficult to win because we’re stuck with the same old stuff and other people are using brand new things because they invested so much in it. I think I’d rather have a section where I could just decorate rooms for myself instead of being compared to everyone else. I certainly don’t want to spend money to buy materials that I think might help me win and then end up at ninth and 10th place because everyone’s using white again.

Rigged! A great game ruined, sadly.. Been collaborating with family members using one account for several years as something to do to in the evenings and down times such as waiting in movies or restaurants. Downloaded and started my own account, playing for the past three weeks or so. Shocked at the changes— tons of pushy pop-ups and all the new items are priced at much higher coins levels or have to be unlocked. All the freebies that you can win without purchasing are ugly, or you unlock a bundle and you’re given the least-desirable items in the package. Played anyway and zoomed up the design levels with mostly high ratings using no cash purchases. Now, suddenly my cohesive and liveable designs are all rated at the bottom or losing to clashing designs that use expensive items but look like a kindergarten classroom threw up. Voting has always seemed unrealistic, but it’s clearly rigged and evident that the game penalizes players by requiring redesigns and holding them back from advancing or scoring too highly without making in-app purchases or using expensive items in their designs. Not the same fun and entertaining game it used to be (updated the app for the original account-big mistake-and everyone also agrees). Rigged to be expensive and high-pressure. Fast losing interest because they’ve ruined a great thing with greed. Such a shame.

On the Fence. I like a game like this where I can design and compete. The format is easy to use and understand. I don’t like that when you unlock new materials, all of the gold materials unlock before the green ones. When both gold and stars are hard to earn and expensive to purchase, this is unacceptable. The chances are not random. They have it set up this way. I have unlocked many collections and the only ones left to unlock are for cash. I am not paying for stars to unlock the 1-2 items left in the material collections. So, I guess they will stay blacked out. They also can fix the voting if you win too often, so you will literally lose against objectively horrible designs until they see fit for you to win again. Again, they are controlling accumulation of the stars and gold. I have seen very good designers have losing streaks (7-10th place) that make no sense because their designs were still just as great. I like to see other top players designs so I have visited many profiles and seen this to be a pattern. I understand they want to make lots of money for this game. I would spend more on it if the developers did not employ these tactics to get my money. They make playing less fun for me. After not playing it for over a year and deciding to play again on a whim, my experience with these last two seasons has convinced me not to return to it again. If I do I will not be spending a dime on a game that is so rigged.
