Stopped working. App worked fine for a while but now it acts like I’ve never used it. It asks me to log in but then says I am already logged in and then it just closes completely.

Broken on iPad. Latest version does not display and operate correctly on iPad. It is still marginally useful on iPhone. But the whole premise is flawed. Comcast should support use of standard OTP Authenticator apps rather than reinventing their own square wheel.

Not working. It is not having options to enter Numbers in CODE dialogue box 😁🤪 what a joke

Won’t load. Won’t load up. Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. Terrible, has been this way for days.

Another stupid app because Comcast can’t use others like google authenticator. It’s great Comcast has this extra security, but in stupid way. Now I have yet another app taking up space on my phone because Comcast can’t let us use Google Authentication, Authy, or others. I have a password manager that supports 2FA for Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and others that support 2FA, but Comcast needs to be special. Sad, I have a folder just for their stupid pointless apps. Thanks Comcast! 🙄

It’s a disaster — fails, crashes, total disappointment. At one point, this Authenticator was a good idea, reasonably well-executed. But with every update it becomes less and less reliable. Half the time the Approve process fails completely. And at this point, every time I try to log in, it crashes. On both my iPhone AND my iPad. Comcast should be embarrassed that this thing has the Xfinity brand name.

Update contains bugs that constantly send notifications that loop. Since the last update, I keep getting a notification that I need to open app for an "important security update." At first, I think ok, sounds important so I open the app from the notif. I have latest iOS and use FaceID + Xfi 2 factor authentication. Go through login process, everything is fine, starts some kind of "app update" but then times out shortly (within 15 seconds) saying that an error occured. The only reason to I'm writing this review is in the hope Xfi support sees this and fixes the prob. I'm tired of getting annoying updates about an important security update only to get this error. Now I can't even open the app. Just get same error message in aforementioned flow. PLEASE FIX. This is what I keep getting: Error: I_XAL_AAID_CAE_1208

Good for Localization support. Changing language English to Spanish ....Spanish to English

Bad Security Model. Most people who want 2FA/MFA want to use their own authenticator apps. Locking them into your custom solution is a waste of developer resources.

Better then nothing…. Better then the current SMS based Auth I have setup for 2FA, don’t like that I have to download another Authenticator app to my phone when I already have 3 installed… and it doesn’t appear to do anything special.

Stuck updating. I the the latest version as of writing, and the app is stuck “loading the latest version of our app.” It’s a freaking authenticator, what could possibly require dynamic updates‽ Just use a normal Authenticator app like Google’s. Also, the developer responses to the same issue cited in other reviews, claiming it’s fixed in the latest version, are wrong.

Keeps crashing. App keeps crashing when you add more than one account. Should just make an option to use other TOTP apps with Xfinity accounts

Push notifications do not work- no app support. Push notifications do not work- no app support from the xfinity assistant. The online assistant does not recognize any app related keywords or does not have any support programming.

Has not been updated. This app has not been updated in over a year and it is a security feature. Now the app just crashes, but there’s not an option to use any other authenticators.

Hacked.. First off, read their policies. Second, I had Xfinity chat support say they do not have an authenticator app. So, who knows who built this thing, but if you want your whole ish hacked then by all means… download. -one star- to prove how disgusted I am.

Push Notifications Don’t Work. This app used to be great. Any login attempt to my xfinity account immediately popped up a push notification on my phone. Some time in the last year push notifications stopped working. They are enabled in settings. I’ve tried turning them off and back on. I’ve tried unregistering my device and re-adding it. Notifications still never pop up when I’m trying to log into my account. I have to manually open the app and wait for the sign-in approval to pop up. Sometimes even that doesn’t happen, and I have to kill the app and re-open it for the approval to pop.

Crashes with 2 or more accounts. If you have 2 or more accounts in the app it will crash every time you open the app.

Wonderful !!!!!!. I love the extra layer of security!! I like I know when any person in my family tries to access the account. Lovely layer of security. 😁

Borked on new iPhone 11 Pro. How could the developers screw up such a simple app? For the past 20 minutes, this app has been displaying the message “We’re loading the latest version of our app. This should only take a moment.” It’s the modern day equivalent of turning your TV on and getting snow, despite the fact you’re paying 160 per month for a cable subscription. Funny, because what led me to this point was the fact that my Xfinity box is frozen and not accepting commands—so I was trying to enable Showtime Anytime. All I needed was to log on to Xfinity for authentication. When I enabled 2-factor authentication for Xfinity, I thought, “How could they possibly screw this up?” Well, now I know.

Nice and smart.. Very cool app..It adds up a second layer of authentication to Xfinity Myaccount and I get notified through a push notification every time when I login, which I can approve with Touch Id or deny the request if it’s not me. This app makes my account more secure which has all my personal information. 👏👏👏

Easy to use. Great app, easy to use, and I like that I can include all of my 2auth apps on here.

No longer works. The app worked great until this last update. Now I am unable to sign in, gives me an error code.

Useless. All someone needs is a bill and they have all access to your account bypassing all your passwords, email and 2 step codes. All you do is call the live agent with account number and you're all set.

Slick multifactor app!. Didn't expect a security tool from Comcast to be so nice and easy to use... Fantastic option for anyone who wants to safeguard their account.

Can’t sign in. You need to give a cell number and receive a text to use app. I have no cell service at my home.

where is the dark mode????. no dark mode. Comcast should implement 2FA using Authy as I already do for other apps, instead of having another authenticator app for just Xfinity.

Useless!. The app is useless since I can’t even get to the register page on an xfinity network!

Semi-broken. If you press and hold on a push notification it gives the option to approve the notification, but tapping “approve” does nothing, but remove the request. You have to open the app to approve requests. Also every now and then the app stops working and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to work.

Has been working lately. I previously gave this app a poor review because it failed to work and I wasn’t able to login. The issue seems to have been corrected, I haven’t had trouble for a few months.

Login loop and doesn’t send text verification. Pretty much sums it up in the title. iPhone 11 latest version of ios. Attempted uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. Also seems like this has been an issue for a while now I’ve found a forum post from 4 months ago going over this same issue, but unable to find any information for a resolution. ****Edit. Seemed to be the fact I had the Authenticator setup on two devices. Once removing it fully off my old one I was able to get everything else setup fine without issue.

Completely locked out. Can’t click the more options tab. Completed locked out of XFINITY home. This Authenticator won’t allow me on any app because the page with the more options tab is stuck and nothing is clickable and now way to continue. Cancel just cycles the broken process over.

Stuck in endless loop. App is the current latest version in the App Store. When I open it, it’s stuck on screen saying “We’re loading the latest version of our app. This should only take a moment...”. So full of fail.

Touch Id is Good for Sign-in Request. Good for Authentication ..

Typical Xfinity. It’s actually a little better than most of what Xfinity provides. The option to use Touch ID our Face ID has stopped working. Only Xfinity would require using an app this crappy instead of using another authenticator. Much like all of Xfinity, use it only when absolutely necessary

Useless... crashes during registration. This app is absolutely useless... it crashes while you try to register your device... tried 5 times and probably flagged by xfinity as a sign in security threat by now because they can’t fix their own products

Not bad. It’s better than having one with google , facebook, and every other site that is tracking you non-stop! Maybe think privacy before convenience. Just a thought.

Seriously.... Just let us use a yubikey or other totp app like everyone else. Why another app for one function that I already have elsewhere.

Authenticator App. I finally got the app to work on my. iPhone 11 X Pro. Remove the app, restart, and then re-download the app and viola’!

Don’t put a space in the code. Why does the authenticator put a space between the third digit and fourth digit? When I copy and paste the code, the Xfinity app chokes at the space and rejects it as invalid. I have to edit the digits to remove it every time. So copy and paste convenience is gone. Bad design!!!

Annoyed!!!. I deleted the app because I got tired of it not remembering to not ask me to mfa on this device, it never saves! What added insult to injury was the next time I tried to log into my account...Deleting the app from my phone didn’t disable the security feature, so on my next login, I'm being asked to get a code from an app that I no longer have on my phone...so I have to download it again? And the option to just get a code texted to you is buried in a hamburger??? Grumble grumble...👹

Massively flawed. The app and the Xfinity login page that all the other apps use allow for LESS THAN A COUPLE SECONDS for the approval of the login. So every time I attempt to log in and approve it on my phone, the app or other device waiting for authentication says that the request has expired by the time the auth app sends the message to the system that I have approved it. Over and over again, both devices sitting right next to each other, on the exact same network. If I click the link saying I want to enter a code from the authenticator app instead, I get the same time expired message. I've tried turning off notifications from the authenticator app, turning off using a fingerprint to approve, nothing changes. I've tried on multiple devices and different Xfinify apps. Now I have to figure out how to get into my account to get this crap app off the log in process. Just exactly how I wanted to spend a few hours of my time.

Buggy. I keep getting error I_GAP_3520 after entering MFA code

Needs more work. On paper sounded like a great idea but in real.world app did not perform well. App did not work well consistently. When a device logged in an approval screen popped up but when I tapped “approve” nothing happened. Also when the box to ignore future approvals from a device was checked nothing happened. Long story short I ended up entering the generated code over 98% of the time. I had so much issues with the 3FA that I deleted the app. When the app worked it was great and very convenient but it failed to work 98% of the time.
