A wonderful tour through Sisters’ history.. I have wandered through this town on the second Saturday in July every year since 1989. However, I never saw these plaques before. It’s nice to read the history of this town.

Another lovely still around town. Liked the stops for this one especially the last one by the creek.

Overall okay. Just annoying was on vacation and got to the last lab cache and it was missing. The co also had caches in the park so I messaged him and he confirmed it was missing.... now I can’t long the last one to finish that lab cache tour.... there should be away to do remotely.... and is there away to put a needs maintenance on one???

Not happy:(. Not a fan! It was an hour drive to my first lab adventure...never completed it. The first two of five points went perfectly well. But then I wasn’t able to access the question/answer when I arrived at the other sites. Maps took me to each but when I arrived, it indicated I was a mile or more away yet. The question/answer wouldn’t open cuz it needed me to be closer...even though I was there! I grumbled all the way on my hour drive home. Grrr!

Great app. Have used this a number of times now. Adds an interesting twist to geocaching. It has worked flawlessly. Thanks!

Great times. These adventure labs have taken me to places I haven’t visited before. Thank you for the time and effort you put into the and making this a fun sport

Great way to explore!. These adventure labs are a great way to show or explore areas of interest where there is no room for physical caches or where caches are not allowed or not possible. I especially like the adventure labs that have a bonus cache associated with them and where each waypoint provides a clue. A bonus letterbox can work great!

Has one flaw. I would rate 5 stars but it does not update my total find amount which is sad but hopefully the developers can fix this.

Good app would like a bit more though. This app relies on a active data connection. If you don’t have service completing a cache can be problematic. I’ve done a couple that we’re outdoors in cell dead zones and no WiFi for miles. Luckily before reaching the next stage I got service and could enter the answer to bring up the next cache. I was lucky that there was only one obvious trail between the caches since none of the map services worked either. So it would nice if there was a way to have the app verify multiple correct answers, save them, and then upload them when service returns. I’ve created an adventure & I know that there’s no requirement to see if you have cell service as the CO. And then all cell service isn’t created equal. I understand under the covers these are different beasts from other caches, but... It would be nice to allow TBs to visit. Allow comments on individual caches, or allow comments to be made from home after the fact rather than apparently requiring comments from your phone immediately upon completion. Maybe allow pictures too.

Fun in our backyard. Thanks so much for putting together this adventure lab in our hometown area. We had lots of fun revisiting some favorite spots and learning some new things. Great job

Usable app. Like the ease and access to find lab caches and would give it a higher rating if you could still use Wase or some other map to navigate to caches

Infuriating at times. As the only option to do lab caches these days, had no choice but to deal with this app. At its best, the graphics were good (much nicer than the Wherigo app.) But had lots of difficulties on an iPhone X. Sometimes the app wouldn’t start (just showing a blank orange screen) and had to re-install the app several times. Once it is working, several annoying issues. 1) when you are at a location (blue dot and orange dot are on top of each other), I could not click on orange dot. 2) after correctly answering a lab cache question, a pop up asks if you want to review the journal-this is a wasted question since you have no other option. I have zero interest in reviewing the journal and rather it default to the map to avoid needless clicks. 3) I tend to turn off location services unless absolutely necessary. When I started the app the next day, it assumes I am at coords N 0 W 0 off the coast of Africa and the list is way too long to find the series of interest. Instead, the app should remember where I was last at or at least give me list of the series that are in-progress or completed.

Can’t Sign Up. Just downloaded the app and I can’t use any of the 3 different email addresses or 2 Geocaching names that my wife and I use, because they are in use with Ground Speak. Considering that the closest Lab Cache is over 20 miles away and they are so far and few between, we just don’t see the value of obtaining (and maintaining) a new email address and creating yet another seeker name for each of us in order to try Lab Caches out. There must be some way that we can use our seeker names and email addresses that are already in use with Geocaching, so we don’t have to re-create the wheel or change our identities after having been Geocachers since 2007.

Great way to learn more about your own community or other communities. Lovely location for an adventure of walking, disk golf, letting yourself dig swim or just relaxing under a tree!

Review of lab caches I have completed.. Some of the lab caches are too hard to get back to the journal after using the car guidance. Mostly fun if you don’t use the maps to guide the car on longer jaunts.

Adds so much to our GeoFun. We have really enjoyed using the Adventure Lab app in Florida. There are so many which have taken us to interesting and out-of-the-way places! We appreciate the ease of use. Occasionally the existence and purpose of bonus caches are confusing, but otherwise it’s been great.

So fun!. What a great way to explore! We’ve used this app to enjoy adventure labs all summer. It’s been a perfect way to safely get outside and play during COVID. Thanks to the builders and creators who make this fun possible!

Nice to mix in with geocaching. If you want a goal to your ambling without having to solve crazy hard puzzles or spot a micro hidden amongst dead leaves, Adventure Labs is your friend. It would especially be nice if I still had little ones. If your kid is old enough to read, they can find the answers to the questions. Anyway, the app is really good at knowing when you get close to “ground zero” and thus far, the questions are all reasonable to answer, as long as you are at the location.

Dark Mode needed. I’m legally blind and can’t use the app because the screen hurts my eyes. I currently use a third party geoapp that has dark mode. When will dark mode be available?

Adventure Lab app crashing. I was excited to get my first Lab Cache on Leap Day to get my goal of 10 icons in a day! Got to location of CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY LONG BEACH and the app will not open. I’ve deleted the app, restarted my phone and then downloaded the app again with no success. I know this one is active as I found it doing research at home. Disappointed that this one won’t be findable today because of issues. Also it was a 40 min drive for nothing! 🙁

Uber Awesome. I love the entire concept of adventure labs and the app guides me through each step. The one thing I wish the app had is a way to have the text read to me because it’s often difficult to read a smartphone screen on sunny days.

Adventure Labs after 4 plus tours. So far with limited destinations, it has been interesting learning about different areas in central Florida. Maps has not worked very well to find locations. Needed to use different GPS app when we got to Maps destination to find where we should be.

Yellow Springs: Hidden Gem. What a great little town. I am teaching my Dad about geocaching and he is enjoying it. He isn’t very mobile so I park where he can watch me search if needed and then take pictures to show him. We enjoyed this cache but it was a bit challenging when trying to enter the answers. 1. The Legend of HA HA Pizza - I tried to enter the business name but it kept saying incorrect answers . I began to think that maybe the original business had closed but was persistent. The first name of the business on the sign ends in “ ‘s “ but I had to enter it as “ es “ in the app and then it worked! 2. Meditation - This hint showed a picture of a mural that the mural with the answer was supposed to be next to. Unfortunately, the mural that was given as a hint is now gone but again with persistence and help from a person who works nearby we found the mural with the fairies and was able to answer the question. I tried to enter the numeric number but it wanted it spelled out. 3. The Epic Book Shop - We easily found the mural but it appears that the Book Shop is now closed and now may be a vegan eatery? To answer you need to spell out the number alphabetically and then good to go. 4. A Mother’s Love - Love this mural and the answer with the next door business name was not an issue. Thanks for showing us these little gems of the town. We enjoyed it very much.

Crashing. I installed it and it wasn’t showing local lab caches. Turned on locations on settings and now it crashes. I turned off locations and still crashes. iPhone 7

V 1.3.33 Build 3237. After todays update, 0 reviews are presented when opening an AL. If you click on “reviews” they appear behind an error message. “Could not load activity for this Adventure. Please try again later”

Overall nice but still has some technical issues. It works great…..if you have 4G connection. There appears to be no way to download offline for later use. If the adventure is in a spotty cellular connection area this is a serious disadvantage

Fantastic AL!. We loved the parks that it took us to and especially loved the cemetery. Made a pitstop at the winery down the street. Great history, we loved it!

Backing out fe success screen. Can’t see the back up button. So every timeWe get one we have to exit the app Adderall go right back in it otherwise were stuck

It works. Put two of these together and tested and they worked great hope to get to design more 1st put in Savannah plenty of history to do more

Wander Plainfield Adventure Lab. Excellent showcase for Plainfield Parks. Good park descriptions with specific questions and even a few hints along the way. Hints did not give anything away but directed you to the needed info.

Boring. Adventure Lab is not really a game. It’s more like a series of questions you have to answer that happen to give you credit for a geocache find. Most of the time you just drive around and read words off signs. I would never use this app to introduce someone to geocaching. I hope they add some kind of functionality that actually makes this interactive or have game elements, but its been several years now and they haven’t done anything with the platform.

Please review. Thanks for the adventure lab. We always like to visit the Old Mill. For one of the questions, how many posts does the chain go through near the Pottery House? It actually only goes through 9 of them.

Adventures begin. Love doing this as I also see what I missed learning when just grabbing smilies. Have Geo muggle spouse who is much a history buff makes this type cache experience tops. The grands will enjoy the new adventure w us too.

Historic Grand Rapids. This is my first Adventure Lab so of course it gets a FOUR STAR because it took me to interesting places in Grand Rapids and the answers were easy to find at each location. No mosquitos or poison ivy! The only added improvement to make it a 5 is the added fun of getting a clue at each location when you get the right answer. I discovered that today after doing two more. One in Biwabik and one in Embarrass. Bonus caches yet to find!

Interesting locations. Great locations of interesting architecture and history. Really enjoyed that the traffic was minimal on the weekend.

Very fun! App works great.. Saw some of the bad reviews and was happy it was a free app...but we wanted this to work because we had never tried this aspect of geocaching before now. Happy to say the app works well on an iPhone and we have enjoyed 2 adventures so far!

Quick run-through. We ran this adventure quickly after we went to the pumpkin patch. We didn’t have much daylight left (ran out while we were there) but there were enough lights to figure things out. The Minuteman is MIA but my daughter found the star-shaped platform perfect for a Hamilton pose. It’s always fun to get that close to huge aircraft and it’s nice to be able to do so without paying admission or going through security. Lots of info if you have the time to take it all in.

Absolutely Fun!. We are a geocache team with over 1,100 fines and we are really enjoyed adventure lab as an alternative. This is a very fun seek and find experience for outdoors people and families alike.

Family friendly. Quick short walk that would be easy walk with stroller for young families, but also easily walkable for slightly older kids.

Get waze. I love labs however my only complaint is that google and Apple Maps often don’t take you the right way. Once you get a waze tie in I will give you 5

Educational and Fun. This is such a great concept! You get to add the mystery of searching for a geocache, coupled with the fun of learning, something about an area or region. I have gone on a couple of Adventure Lab adventures and have enjoyed them immensely. I am anxious to share this with my grandchildren when they come to visit. A word of thanks to all the innovators who made Adventure Lab possible.

Feedback. My muggle wife loves the adventure labs. We like how they are digital tour guides. However while doing an AL this weekend we found one of the stages out of order and we were not able to complete it. The stages were locked for chronicle order thus we could not go on. Just by chance I knew someone vaguely associated to the AL. I was able to call them directly to let them know of the problem. Please consider making a way to message the CO so you can report problems. Since we couldn’t complete the AL we could not leave a review thus no way to notify anyone. Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!

A Short Drive of Historical Interest. A easy driving loop highlighting a handful of interesting post Civil War sites around Franconia. No reflection on the AL, but, it was a little sad seeing how completely most of the sites gave way to development “progress”. On the plus side, we stopped by Lee District Park for a quick stroll in the snow :) TFTAL!

Great App. Smooth Use. We’re really pleased with the Adventure Lab Cache interface. Much more polished than the old Wherigo system, and not at all buggy (in our experience). Already enamored with this new way to geocache.

Cool learning. We love to find these new places and get the history. Thanks for doing this kind of learning for us all.

Very fun adventure lab. Kids loved finding the wings. We were in town for an art show and this was a great distraction and fairly easy.

A great castle and adventure lab!. This series of 5 takes you to the key points in and around the castle. A great way to learn the history of the castle.

Easier than the where I go app. This app is. Way easier than the where I go app. It was easy to use and everything. The only down fall I had with the app is when you go to the next location it would not update that I am going to it and had to get out of the app and go back in it to make it realize it needs to update.

Great fun. Thanks for the adventures and visiting numerous places of interest that we often take for granted.

1st Wagga Wagga AL for us!. Went on a bike ride with DiMorgan and The Drovers and had a great time going around the lake. Took just 40 minutes and travelled 10 kms. Started to rain just as we got back to camp.

Needs offline capability. The app is off to a good start, working well whenever strong 4G signal is available. What would make the app, and more importantly the adventures much better, would be offline use.... lee737

Great, but…. Can get stuck when waypoints are continuous and one is unable to be solved or is no longer valid. Cannot provide feedback to owners easily via app. Easy way to up those smiles though! Really like the exploration side of the game and wish there were more AL’s!

Close but no cigar. I would really like to be able to re visit the information that is presented before answering each question. And a map or a compass when navigating to a lab would be nice, especially when the point is not walking distance.

Renewed interest. This app has renewed my lapsed interest in geocaching. Thank you.

Glitchy. This has become problematic by not updating distance this not allowing questions to be answered unless app deleted and reinstalled repeatedly

Constantly have to uninstall and reinstall. Having to uninstall and reinstall between adventures and during adventures ensured a lot of people did not complete the labs at a recent mega I was at.

Interesting but incorrect. Great to learn more about the origins of Downer and the CSIRO, but two answers are incorrect (photographic evidence available). These need to be fixed to score higher.

Please add trails. I use the Geocaching app, and one of the best features is the abut to use “trails” maps. Please add “trails” to this app.

Like it but…. I am really enjoying the geocaching adventure app. I like being taken to new places and the quizzes forced me to learn something about where I am. My only critique would be that there’s not good integration with the Geocaching app and as I’m walkingTo the next geocache adventure, I have to constantly toggle back-and-forth exiting out of the app in order to check on regular caches of the geocaching app. Keep up the good work but please work on integration thank you

Great historic trip around Napanee. We really enjoyed visiting each location and learnt a little more about the town and its history. We seemed to wander around the fairgrounds a little bit finding an answer but it was all very pleasant. Thanks Curl4u for creating an enjoyable Lab cache.

Statues in Sidney. My first Adventure Lab cache. I had fun completing this. However it doesn’t show as complete now. I’m not able to do it again as the app won’t let me. I do have the bonus cache information on the journal page. Hope you get this issue fixed soon

Beautiful place. This cemetery is aptly named, as it has the most rolling hills I’ve ever seen in a cemetery! Really a beautiful place and well tended. The tour was fun to do and not too easy, well done Hard Oiler!

Lime house. Spent a lovely few hours exploring the caves at lime house. I had previously completed the geocaches in this area but today we decided to follow the adventure lab. Great questions , very easy for the kids to answer and lots of fun. Thank you for this adventure lab!

Better than a Twofer!. I love Adventure Lab app! A combination of geocaching fun, exercise and learning new things.

Completion screens?. Today was my first time using this app to complete an Adventure. When I completed it, I got a nice completion screen for a second and then it was gone. I didn’t even get a chance to look at it. I’m disappointed that each stage completion screen isn’t viewable afterward.

Good work on the app. One thing I’d like to see on the app is the ability to go back and see what the answer I gave for the question. People are sometimes when the stock and I don’t remember them. I think this would help everybody

Version 1.2.3 Crashes iOS 12.4.1. When I launch version 1.2.3 I just get the splash screen for a few moments then it disappears. If I check to see what apps are running it is there but if I switch to it the same thing happens. Tried deleting and reinstalling but no luck. IOS 12.4.1 iPhone 8 Plus.

Fault in your last update. The “search this area “ when was my lecture yields nothing. Have to go in “more” selection and scroll down. It only tells he which are uncompleted and not the location. I have iPhone that is up to date. Other than that, I love this app since it came out.

Fun way to get out of the house. Get off your duff and see different parts of towns

Pony Express, the beginning. Nicely written dialogue. It is a clear start and flows in good order of how the riders started their venture to Sacramento. Nice history lesson and nice historical sights to learn from. Great idea!

Crippling stupidity. I suggested the ability to highlight, copy, and paste text out of the app because some adventures involve puzzles and ciphers. Many years later, they never implemented it. These idiots don’t care about providing a good user experience

It says you can create but you can’t!. There aren’t any adventures close to me, and there isn’t an easy or obvious way to create them. I was wanting to make some for my area. As for the rest of the app. Who knows if it’s good or not, because there a no adventure in the area for me to try.

Lincoln highway Magna to Wendover. This was very fun. I did not know about the Telephone history.

Bonus for haunted spring.. I never got the bonus coordinates. Help!

Version 1.2.20. Update 9/9/20 version 1.2.22 now works on our iPhone 6S Plus running ios 13.6.1 ----- First review: This release causes an infinite loop showing the spinning search icon. Update: Tried version 1.2.21 (released 1 week after .20) on our iPhone 6S plus running ios 13.6.1, but still struggle with unending search icon.

Excellent Adventure. Love the history of this town that I wouldn’t otherwise known without this Adventure Lab.

Shouldn’t be associated with geocaching. If you like standing around in a parking lot and wracking up a bunch in of fake finds then this is the app for you. Only download this app if you are a soulless stat padder. This is a separate game and shouldn’t be associated with geocaching.

What a Fun App!. I have always enjoyed Geocaching, but this adds in learning about interesting sites as well! I love it!

Not impressed. Not impressed with the ap. No way to contact the CO. Also no way to log unless you complete the lab so if something is wrong with the lab (i.e. construction, dead links etc) theres no way to know.

Vacaville. I was happy to have a nice walk around town and visit some of its historical areas places!

Super Fun!. We did the Dr. Alien first and this one was soooo much easier and still so fun!

Pearl Harbor history. Awesome history about a time in history that will never be forgotten.

Nice walk. Removed sequential requirement. Two locations in West park. Three in East. A leisurely walk , park at West do St Francis. Then cross bridge NE to East park. Walk South around park doing all 3 there. Back over bridge to 5. Less than a mile!

Needs More Adventure. This needs easy offline capability to extend caching into areas where containers are not appropriate. Without that it’s missing it’s true potential.

New and fun. Lots of fun and learned something new about stiff around us that we took for granted.

Keeps Crashing. Adventure Lab is the only app on the market to access these cache types. App keeps crashing and it goes to the load screen and exits. If I delete it for a few days and re-download, it will fix. The next time I go to open it, it crashes again. Can’t wait for the bug to be fixed.

Crashes when opens - iOS 12.5.5. So sad that the app opens and crashes immediately now. I hope a fix is in the works. I love this app.

Crashes. The app used to work nicely for me until couple weeks ago. Now it shows three startup screen for a while and then crashes. Reboot and reinstall didn't help. IPhone 7, ios 12.
