Unable to order (update). (Update) They finally fix my app so now I can order everything! So excited! :D Thanks, Einstein’s! I love Einstein’s and was excited that they had an app BUT I can only order bagels with shmears. There are no sandwiches listed other than the Farmhouse! I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love having just a bagel with shmear, but when I want to have a sammich there is literally no option to order one. I tried checking in customizations and nothing. I wanted to use their promotion of buy one get one for sammiches but you can only do so on the app. So dumb.

I love Einstein and bros bagel but.. As a college student at (CCU) Coastal carolina University , the Einstein bros bagel shop doesn’t allow the rewards to work , or don’t redeem them. I would love to eat and spend more money at Einstein if I had access to the rewards and point system. The staff at coastal are amazing and they make the food not only good but , presentable. It’s a shame that the Einstein Bros and Bagels doesn’t use their business experience and customer service experience to encourage young college students to eat and be interested in their content and spend more money trying to get free food/ drinks. Point system both benefits the company and the customer as it allows customers to keep coming back and spending tons of money for one single free 20oz beverage.

Love my rewards. The app is easy to use plus the rewards program is one of the best. I have free coffee with purchase till the end of the year. Everyday if I want!! The one thing I would like to change about the app is being able to customize my order. Such as add almond milk. Or extra cream cheese. I don’t mind the extra charge it just doesn’t give those options. Great employees when I pick up my order and I can order and it will be ready by the time I get on my bike and head over to our neighborhood Einsteins.

Very basic. I used to work for Einstein. I remember hearing the customers complain all the time about the app. Now that I am a customer, I totally understand. I really wish there was a way to customize the items in more detail. 5 pumps of caramel in my cold brew is too sweet but instead of customizing this in the app, I have to call the store. I also didn’t see an option to have my bagel open faced, nor did I see the option to purchase a small order of cream cheese on the side. I would just go into the store and order, but ordering via mobile app is the only way to take advantage of the perks. I have to decide if I want something for free, but not quite the way I like it, if I want to be the person to call the store with a mouthful of customizations, or if I just want to pay full price and get what I want made the way I want it. Y’all can do better.

Store-App Connection Busted. I ordered through the app, it was accepted, so I drove across town for pickup to find the store closed early and nobody to contact. When I finally talked to an employee, they told me there was nothing they could do and that I had to cancel through the app. There is no way to do this, or to even get a proper receipt (just a lackluster order history section). I went on the website and there is no corporate customer service line either, so I had to fill out a form and it took a week for someone to get back to me to give me a store credit (as opposed to just refunding me). As if I want to try this all over again. Beware if you order through this app, there’s no guarantee the store will have what you order, and you won’t be able to get your money back if they don’t.

Yummy Deals. Love being able to use this app to keep up on all the deals and specials going on at Einstein. They have a great menu to choose from for fresh flavorful food for breakfast and lunch. Why four stars??? One definite thing in the app I’d say should be fixed is when ordering on line have an area to add additional comments. For instance I have a tomato allergy, but there’s no option to remove them from an item I like, or additional comments to write a note regarding it. Would be great if the menu to order on line wasn’t so limiting, does not include all the choices available on the menu when you walk in.

Not a fan of the app. The bagels? Yummy. But I don’t like the app. This was my first time using it, and I wasn’t thrilled. I don’t like how your cart gets cleared even if you leave for a minute to see if your husband wanted to order something too, I don’t like you can’t see your order after it’s placed, I don’t like you cannot customize such as no tomato, no onion etc. I don’t like how it doesn’t give info on the eggs - are these scrambled eggs? Fried? I get cage free but how are they prepared? I went to write a review on the app through the pop up it gave and the website glitched. I like to order through the apps because if I’m not thoroughly familiar with someplace, it makes it easier for me. I went into the store once and felt rushed and not prepared. Please fix the issues! I also didn’t even get an email confirming my order and yup my card was charged.

Needs a full menu. It sucked that I had to download an app (rather than go to a website to order) and then sign up for the rewards program before I could order any food. But it sucked even more when I saw that the app didn’t feature the full menu (my gf likes the pizza bagels) so I ended up going to the restaurant anyway to get a pizza bagel. I’m only frustrated because I know it’s possible to do. I can order panera bread straight off their website without making an account and go pick it up in the restaurant. An app is really not necessary to replace a functioning mobile site. Would suggest re-designing the UI either way, it was hard to navigate and the experience didn’t feel effortless or seamless.

App is broken in so many ways.. Where do I start? First off, it doesn’t show prices anywhere until you add something to your cart. The food menu displays available menu items, but there is no way to add them to your cart. Some paths through the app set the screen brightness to max (which is usually too bright), then set it to minimum when you leave that screen and you can’t read the screen without manually increasing the brightness. Unless displaying a barcode that must be scanned an app should NEVER mess with the brightness, and even then it should return the brightness to its previous setting. I “qualified” for free coffee all month, but if I try to take advantage of the Monday Bakers dozen special it charges me full price for the Bakers dozen. No thanks. I finally got frustrated trying to place an order and went somewhere else.

Error message 2x, not refunded. Tried using this app twice for pick up. Once on 9/27 and once today 10/23. Both times received an error, but my card was still charged. Was told it would pend but drop off. This did not happen. Attempted to contact their corporate via email and got no response. Had to go through my bank to reverse the charge. Will say the staff was wonderful I store on the second order. Showed them my statements from the first time, so they made the order and comped it so I didn’t have to do the refund process again. I was told I was the second order of the day who had this issue and they said they’ve been getting complaints about this for weeks. Will never use this app again. It’s a nightmare.

Not Ready For Prime Time. I was encouraged to download the app because I am a points member. So downloaded the app and everything seem to be working fine. I even placed an order on it I even put money on the rewards card. On the App I specified I wanted curbside service. So when I got to the store there was no curbside parking but there was a line around the building for drive thru. I didn’t know what to do. So I got in line with everybody else for the drive-thru. What good was the app when I still had to stay in line? It appears that the app only benefits the company. After being in the drive thru for 15 minutes I got to the call box told then my name, waited another few minutes, got to the window and handed my order. I could have just come up to drive through like I’ve done for years. Didn’t need the app. App not very organized it needs way more development. The app for Einstein bagels may not be ready for prime time at this point.

Einstein Bagels Has a Deal -. I often snag a bagel and coffee on my way to work. If you are one of those “in the dark” type regarding their online rewards program, then look no further. The light is at Einstein’s. They have a weekly rewards program on their app. For example, if you purchase a bakery item through their app, you can add on a free coffee of any size. It’s a weekly deal and it’s Einstein’s coffee. They play no games. Einstein’s is the lighthouse to every wandering bark… (credit Shakespeare for that line.) In all, there are more deals and rewards if you use their app. I shared my favorite deal. I typically order a Everything bagel with honey almond cream cheese. It comes out to about $3.50 and I get a large coffee to go with it. While other similar establishments will force you to pay $8-$10, you can get a snag a worthy breakfast at Einstein’s more cheaply.

Don’t touch my points!. I love the app and rewards program- however I think that there should be a way that only a customer is able to initiate the use of rewards points. I’ve had my rewards points used on drink upgrades I didn’t want several times and they never actually gave me the cup upgrade! none the less I didn’t even knew it happened until I reviewed my receipt usually after I’ve already enjoyed my meal and I’m on my way to the next venture. This has slighted me out of many free bagels and sandwiches and that makes me sad, but I’ll always come back and try anyway. (:

Do not use!!. I tried using the Einstein Bros Bagels app this morning and every time I tried to check out, instead of paying for the items in my cart, the app would load my store card with the amount in my cart! In other words, my store card is loaded with about $32, but I never got to order anything. They take your money and in return you get a loaded store card but no bagels. Great looking app, a little frustrating to use as it needs a lot of clicks to add sandwiches to your cart. But not being able to buy anything in the app and it takes your money and loads your store card is extremely frustrating. Nope! Deleting this app, as soon as I use up the store card balance at the store.

Love it!. Love the app. The only thing I wish you could do is customize the bagel sandwiches more when ordering ahead. I don’t like shmear and I’m almost certain you can’t take it off of the farmhouse sandwich in the app. I also prefer cheddar over Swiss, so I like to substitute the cheeses out and there’s no option for that on the ham and Swiss egg sandwich. I am not able to order ahead unless I get the bacon and cheddar sandwich, but I prefer ham some days. There’s not even a notes section where I can write it. I’d prefer customization buttons.

Love our Einstein. Just discovered Einstein while visiting relatives in Las Vegas NV during the past 3 weeks. They use their Vegas location up to 5 times weekly. Upon returning from our vacation we found our neighbors location and ordered sandwiches for the 1st time today. We’re now joined the pts program and downloaded the phone apps and plan to visit often going forward. I’ve tried 5 different sandwiches and loved them all. My wife loves the brisket sandwich as her favorite. Looking forward to future visits. Just a little background on us. Residents of Tulsa, retired couple over 65 yrs old. Love bagels and now Einstein’s. See you soon. Bill and Randi Carlile

Higher tier breakfast app. Not too cluttered and has all the essentials (easy navigation, Apple Pay, in-store Rewards scanning quickly, the menu is all there with images, doesn’t bother you with a bunch of ads or other noise, etc). It really benefits you to use this app, since they give you perks, which absolutely draws me to their stores more than ever before. I almost appreciate that the app doesn’t require “topping up“ your store card, but it offers the option (if that’s your thing). I really don’t have many criticisms of this app. Definitely better than their breakfast competitors. Just extend your store hours now. 😁

Please Fix Apple Pay. For the past year now, (I’ve been hoping it would be fixed eventually), Apple Pay continues to never work. The check out experience does not seem to be smooth when it comes to payment. Whenever I try to use Apple Pay as a form of payment, no matter which card I use, I receive this error “Oops! Our credit card processor could not approve this transaction based on the information provided. Please check your billing and credit card information and try again.” (There is nothing wrong with my billing or credit card info, this works fine in every other application and these are the same Apple Pay cards I use with all my daily purchases). I would encourage the development team to improve the check out process for the app. On a positive note, everything else seems to work exactly how you’d anticipate it to work. I love the point system and this app allows me to save so much time when I’m trying to get breakfast before work! As a huge fan, I hope to see an update soon that addresses these concerns 🙏🏽

Fast and convenient!!. Love being able to order ahead! especially with Covid.… However I wish whenever online orders walked in the store they could give a little more direction or have a better sign because I have sat there for 10 to 15 minutes before not knowing my food was sitting on the counter across the room. And when there is a maximum capacity and my food is already done it’s a bummer to have to sit there and wait for it. Other than that, it’s great for when I’m rushing to work in the morning and the French toast bagel is to DIE FOR! I could eat one every day!!! 💁🏼‍♀️🥯😝 Only wish... better rewards for everyday customers. Hehe

Favorite place for breakfast. Excellent food, service, environment. Only problem is I live over 30 miles away in Hernando, Mississippi and the only 3 close to me are all the way into Memphis, Tennessee. The growth in North Mississippi is tremendous and in Southaven, MS, the big city in North MS, is inundated with restaurants and fast food that cannot even keep up with demand. There are no bagel shops at all in this area. An Einstein Bagel Co in Southaven would do a tremendous business. Northwest Mississippi Community College as well as huge Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) satellite campus less than 4 miles from that area. Tanger Outlet Mall and many, many other large businesses right there at the exits off of Interstate 55. A lot of low hanging fruit there when it comes to sales and profit.

Great bagels and employees. Love this place! On March 22, 2023. I visited the store to pick up some bagels for my nieces to have for breakfast since their mom, my sister has just gotten home from the hospital. Bianca was so kind as I was telling her a little about what our family, specifically my nieces are doing such a wonderful job caring for their mom that I wanted to pick them up some food around their area so they didn’t have to worry about skipping breakfast or lunch. I went to pay for their bagels and smear, and Bianca told me not to worry about paying her that she would take care of it. It literally brought me to tears. Her kindness and compassion blew me away! Thank you again, Bianca! 💕

We love Einstein’s. Please bring back the Bagel Dog. We live about one hour north of the locations in Orlando and Altamonte Springs. We drove down last week all set for a Bagel Dog like we used to get in PA. The lady there said they haven’t had the Bagel Dog for about two years. Oh no! Please bring the Bagel Dog back. Oh yeah, we still love everything else, too. The bagels and the pastries (especially the blueberry muffin). Keep up the good work! We now live in California and are much closer to an Einstein’s. We go about one a week and still enjoy the service, bagels, beverages and atmosphere. Thank you for keeping up the good work.

Overall great, though limited customization on the app. I recently downloaded the app and have used it a few times. I love the convenience of ordering ahead of time and just picking up my meal on the way, though I’ve run into some issues with using rewards and/or coupons. Some coupons require in-store redemption and others are online-only, which I understand from a marketing perspective. However, if I want to redeem an online reward and need to customize, say, a coffee, I’m limited to only 2% and skim milk for “efficiency,” with full customization only available in the store, ordering at the counter. Since the reward has to be redeemed online, it makes the whole process of customizing more drawn out for those of us who are lactose intolerant (or just want a different type of milk), and defeats the purpose of online ordering. I hope this issue will be resolved soon, since the company could easily just add one or two dairy-free alternatives to the online customization options.

Liked it at first, but doesn’t work half the time. When I first downloaded the app, it worked perfectly. I was able to order ahead with zero issues and by the time I’d get to the store, it would already be on the shelf. The last month or so, it’s been awful. I’m constantly experiencing the app take forever to load, multiple errors when processing payments so it takes the money out of my account but the store isn’t receiving the order so I have to reorder it again and monitor that the first charge drops off. Also, I’ve noticed that when errors do occur and I’m able to get my food via the mobile app, my points don’t increase like they’re supposed to. I’m honestly debating on just deleting the app and going inside to order or just pick another breakfast place in the area that’s more convenient with online ordering.

App forces update far too often!. I only visit Einstein Bagels once every couple of months, and without fail every time I go up to the counter to pay with my gift card balance using the app, it forces me to update to the newest version. So I have to stand there in line and wait while the new version downloads (using up my wireless data) and people in line behind me are staring at me (or downloading the newest version themselves because they’ve undoubtedly run into the same problem on multiple occasions themselves). Einstein Bros team - please fire your entire app development team if they are going to force users to update every time there is a new version of the app. Not even my banking apps do that, and I know their updates are a lot more important than those of a bagel store app.

Delish. On this day, we ordered the ham and cheese on an everything bagel and the bacon and egg on the six cheese bagel and it was delicious. We ordered it on the app and when we got there unfortunately they were out of the plain bagel which is why we got the six cheese. Michelle greeted me when I got there and told me there was no more plain bagels unfortunately. She was very nice and made sure my order was prepared fresh. I was very happy with the six cheese bagel that we chose. We try to come as often as we can as we do not have a Einstein bagels in Bulverde where we live and this location is the closest to us being at 16 to 20 miles. But we travel here regularly because it’s so good and the service is outstanding. Michelle gets a 10 out of 10 along with her staff. we also ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and it was delicious.

Where else can you get bagels???. I’ve been a fan of Einstein’s since they were Noah’s bagels in California! 1998? I know they’re not New York bagels and I know sometimes the workers could be a little bit more like New York sort of assertive and fast-moving . But, they are working hard it’s hard to fill in all those orders and pretty sure they bake them right there which is what I enjoy!! I love the free things and the discounts and I like to go in the inside instead of go through drive-through just to smell the bagels and see my choices!

not reality. No curbside pickup available at the location, though the app asks for my car type and color. No way to check in for the not-available curbside. Called, they said they are short staffed and there is no curbside. How about updating the app to reflect reality? My order was incorrect. One of the two sandwiches was a random different selection and there was an additional bagel and cream cheese. Found out there is no was to check my order to see if I paid for the extra bagel. Thanks for the apology alert saying “some items” might not be available. Maybe what I ordered was no longer available, but again, app not in touch with situation on the ground. Offering curbside as a pandemic response, but then not delivering on the promise due to staff shortages and supply chain issues seems like a sad contradiction of blame and accommodation.

Need to open. Everyone in my family just love your bagels. I even have to bring them to my sister house for her family to enjoy. My niece loves the cream cheese as well as the bagels them selves. The only problem is my local store has been closed since April and we aren’t able to enjoy them. I was recently traveling with my sister family. We saw a location in the airplane where we purchased a baker dozen and two cream cheese to go. That is how much everyone in my family enjoy your bagels. I just wish your company would open back up the black rock Fairfield CT. Store soon.

Bad UI. I get a lot of promotional emails encouraging me to order days ahead of special days like Mothers or Fathers Day from Einstein and when I use the links from emails I get a notification that the store is closed right now and to order during store hours. The emails suggest I can order days ahead but when I try to the app forces me to wait until the day of to order. If I need to pick up bagels at 7:00, and the store opens at 7:00, how am I to place an order ahead of time if the app forces me to only submit orders during operating hours on the day of order (also at 7:00)? Please fix as this is a huge limitation. There are several instances that I’ve planned to buy a box or two of bagels but don’t from Einstein because the app doesn’t allow me to place an order before the day of.

Gotta love an Einstein Bagel smear. We first found Einstein’s Bagel in Cleveland , Ohio and it became a weekend family ritual. Especially when the kids were younger they looked forward to chocolate chip bagels! Then we moved to Melbourne Florida. We couldn’t find an Einstein’s Bagel Shoppe anywhere. On a trip to Orlando we discovered a location in Dr. Philips area. We would make the hour drive on Sundays to get our fix and bagels to go for our week. Now we are so excited there are locations in Melbourne, Palm Bay and even where I live now in Vero Beach. The kids are grown and out of College now. When we do holiday breakfast together we always pre-order and they still want their chocolate chip bagels. Thank You ! From some of your lifelong fans!

Well Designed but. I’ve used the Einstein Brothers app since it came out. Very easy to use and I love the online ordering and skip the line feature. I would have given 5 stars except there is no longer a way to leave a comment on my order. They took it out! I am severely allergic to cow’s milk (PLUS lactose intolerant now). I need my sandwiches without cheese and if there are chocolate chip bagels in a preorder mix of bagels, they need to be bagged separately. (I buy vegan cream cheese, an excellent idea for E. B. to have at their shops.) I will say that when I called my local shop, they kindly took care of my order ahead of time. But I had to call which negates the reason for using the app at all. What happened to the comment section of the order? I’m hoping, if they put it back in, that I can change my review to 5 stars. Other than this one issue, they deserve it.

Excellent Food & Service!. The food is really good... I’ve tried almost every bagel they have to offer with their variety of cream cheese and I must say I only came across 2 that I didn’t care for. Now, lets get to the breakfast sandwich’s!! They are ALL tasty!! I haven’t came across a breakfast sandwich I didn’t like! That speaks volumes right!? The employees are always courteous, nice and get you out the door! The wait times have always been short since I started going here... I wish they would open one closer by my home... needless to say I travel over 30 minutes just to get their breakfast food! Keep up the good work Einstein!

Miss the indoor seating. I used to have a weekly breakfast meeting at Einstines with 4 other guys. Now we have to eat a Penera. I would also go 1 to 2 times to prepare for my Saturday morning Mens bible study. Einstines was always my go-to place whenever I wanted to meet someone for breakfast or lunch. I might be able to do so a little bit when the weather gets better and we can sit outside, but it is not the same. I also have several pictures of my kids eating there when we would drop our car off for service at a nearby station. And I can still picture people enjoying a quick breakfast before sports or heading up the mountain to go skiing. Sometimes the line would be out the door. Anyway, Please consider reopening the lobby for dine in. It is such a big part of my ministry of meeting with people and I have so many fond memories.

Needs improvements. I’ve been faithfully going to Einstein’s once a week for over a decade and I was excited for the app to come out, however, it has been a bust. First off my location was not included for well over 2 years after the app came out and the lack of options makes me wonder who has been hired to create this. Do they know the menu, do they always order all foods exactly like they come and assume the rest of the world does too, have they ordered from an app before? Let me point out there are more menu items in store than on your app (ex- pretzel bagels, power bagels…). Some people like more shame at or less shame at or don’t want an iced coffee full of cream and only want a little bit of milk. Do they know lots of apps offer order ahead for a certain time? Just some ideas… hopefully their working on it.

Great service. I’ll give you were five star for the one in surprise The manager Danielle is great always takes care of me I’m a regular customer enjoy your bagels I love the cinnamon and sugar the pretzel bagel and many others my Leasco once or twice a week and tomorrow I’m going again I love you sandwiches the brisket sandwich is really good and everything else th The people that work there are also nice and very polite and I enjoy going there because of this and you’re good bagels I grew up on bagels OK thank you very much I appreciate your people that work for you thank you OK

It works, but needs updating.. So many other apps out here allow you to customize every aspect of your order and reflect the same choices you can make at the register. This app falls short. When choosing a sandwich you can only change the bagel and egg type. There are no options for topping changes or additions. I’d like to see options for all the choices available such as spreads, proteins, toppings like avocado etc. There are times I choose a different option like Panera simply because other shops like Panera allow me to custom everything. My other option is to order in person to get the meal I want and wait in line to do it. My local shop gets very busy, just not worth the wait.

Missing key ordering features. There are some cool things on here, but they really missed key opportunities when creating an online ordering + loyalty app. 1. Nowhere can I find my in-progress order - once I place my order, it says “ready in 10-15”, but once I click away from that screen, I can’t go back to any of find my previous orders. There’s a rewards page, which shows how much I paid, but no order details or say if it’s still in progress or ready 2. No “help” or customer service - When I discovered that I couldn’t look at my in progress order, I tried to find somewhere to give feedback, and apparently the App Store is the only place to do that. FAQs only get you so far. Your app/loyalty management service is doing you a disservice (check out Merkle if you need a loyalty revamp). If you just… don’t take feedback, that’s bad for your brand. My order was also incorrect and didn’t realize til I got home. Where do I go for that? Here is the only place, I guess. Not super happy about that. 3. Incomplete menu = money grab - they conveniently don’t have a side (1 or 2oz) size of shmear. If you want any cream cheese on the side, you have to buy a tub for $4+. The image is also misleading where it looks like a side and the description doesn’t call out that it’s a tub until it’s in your cart. Hoping for improvements soon as I generally enjoy this brand, but these things make it really annoying. Keep up with the times.

No curbside pickup even if they say there is. I have used the app 3 times, each time pre-paying and selecting curbside pickup. Not only is there no curbside pickup, but I had to wait in line to get my order. Defeats the purpose of ordering and paying ahead of time. The staff inside were surly and reluctantly let me take my order. On top of that, there was some indication that my credit card had been charged 106 dollars, and after a heart attack, it disappeared only to re-surface later attached to some other number-not my credit card. There is no point is using the app if you have to go inside and wait anyway even though there might be 1 or 2 other people transacting business. I thought of going to get the Monday bagel special today and realized I would have to go inside and wait in line despite the app, so I did not go. I am searching for a new bagel place!

Frustrating. I hate that you can’t edit anything. Say you are allergic to cheese and want to order a sandwich, and you want no cheese on it, you can’t edit it. The sandwich comes as is. Say, you want to order a box of only plain bagels, nope, you have to only get it “verity” which would be fine if it at least let you choose which verity you want but again, nope. You want a brunch box but you want to substitute a certain type bagel for one you actually want, you can forget it. I get that they want to get rid of ones they don’t sell much but must it be forced on you if you want to take advantage of a deal? They are usually accommodating when you walk in and order. But with this pandemic, I’m taking advantage of mobile ordering when I can to avoid the crowds. But this app is frustrating so I usually avoid ordering on it and just go in person

App is fine except 2 minor annoyances. I was told about the app today and how to earn rewards. I have been going to my bagel shop for months before hearing, but that is a separate problem. I like the ease of the app and layout. 1 thing that was very annoying was the inability to use auto fill when signing up. That should be added by the developer. The second and worst is the rewards menu brightness. For some reason when you go to the rewards tab, the brightness in your phone is immediately raised to peak backlighting. If you are looking at this app in the dark with the brightness lowered it is the equivalent of gazing into a solar eclipse. Expect to immediately feel the burn of hundreds of lumens scorching your retinas.

Terrible order customization. I love Einstein Bros Bagels but the app is completely worthless to place an order with any type of customization beyond changing the type of bagel. Say you want Swiss on your bagel sandwich and not cheddar (like my spouse always wants)? Too bad. Or maybe you avoid dairy and want no cheese (like me)? Too bad. Or maybe there is one ingredient on a bagel sandwich you are allergic to or simply don’t like? Out of luck. There is absolutely no way to indicate this on your app order. There isn’t even a “comments” or “notes” box to write down order customizations. So every time we want Einstein Bros bagels, we have to call our order in. This certainly is a lot less convenient (sometimes they are so busy it takes forever to get them to answer the phone) and makes us patronize Einstein Bros a lot less than we normally would. PLEASE MAKE YOUR APP BETTER!

Great app, minor issues. This app has a great layout but I have noticed a few bugs. First, if you are placing an order in the app and exit, even for a second or so, it will clear your cart and start you back at step one. This can be extremely irritating especially if you are placing a group order for a bunch of people who have texted you what they want. My cart cleared about 3 times. Second, one of the items on the order was unavailable but not listed as so on the app. I was never informed when I picked up my mobile order that my breakfast sandwich was not in the bag because the store had ran out that morning. By the time I got back and opened opened the to-go bag, I was already 20 minutes away and found that they threw in a bagel with cream cheese as a substitute for my sandwich. It would be awesome if there was some way for the store to update the mobile apps inventory to avoid any issues like this in the future. Overall, the app is designed well and works great when using it. If these bugs can be worked out, it would make the app a whole lot better.

Order fails but credit card is charged. I would advise others not to use this app. I have repeatedly had problems submitting orders with this app. 7 times now it has billed my credit card even though the order didn’t go through, often more than once on the same day. And these are not just pending charges, they fully post & show up on my credit card bill. The only way to contact Einstein’s customer service is by messaging them through their website, which worked the first couple times. But now I have 3 charges from the same day when the app kept telling me the order failed because of a problem with the payment system. I messaged Einstein & asked for a refund and got no response. The app not removing the credit card charge after the order fails is extremely poor programming. Combine that with poor customer service to address the problems makes this app a disaster.

Best bagel. Einstein Bros. Bagels is a delightful haven for bagel enthusiasts. Upon entering, the aroma of freshly baked bagels fills the air, instantly whetting the appetite. The menu boasts a wide array of options, from classic plain and everything bagels to unique flavors like Asiago cheese and cinnamon The staff at Einstein Bros. Bagels are friendly and efficient, providing prompt service with a smile. Whether you're grabbing a bagel to go or dining in, the atmosphere is always welcoming and inviting. Overall, Einstein Bros. Bagels earns high marks for its delicious and diverse offerings, excellent service, and inviting ambiance. Whether you're a bagel aficionado or just looking for a tasty meal on the go, Einstein Bros. is sure to satisfy.

Worst app for food ordering I’ve ever used. Firstly, I had issues where it was billing the wrong credit card. I tried reaching out many times to support and they did nothing. Secondly, online orders don’t sync well at all with in-store orders. The past 2 times I came in, the system printed out a receipt, but the screens never showed the order. I waited for an hour and a half and asked 3 times for my order to be checked on and they just couldn’t find it, except for the receipt which mysteriously printed Update: I took a break from einsteins for about a year to see if anything was better. It seems their app has done absolutely nothing to improve. They don’t prioritize their online orders. I placed my order on the app, drove 15 minutes to pick it up, waited in line to ask when it would be ready and I was told “it should be ready soon”. I then proceeded to watch the person behind me place their order and get their order, and then I still had to wait another 10 mins before mine was ready. Don’t use this app unless you feel like waiting 45-60 minutes when you could otherwise just order in person and get your stuff faster

A Very Satisfied Customer. Today, I decided to try out the Einstein Bagel's online app for the first time, and I must say, it was a great experience! The app was user-friendly and easy to navigate. It allowed me to browse through their extensive menu, customize my order according to my preferences, and pay for it all in one go. What I appreciated the most about the app was its convenience. I was able to place my order from the comfort of my own home and choose the pickup time that worked best for me. When I arrived at the store, my order was ready and waiting for me, which saved me a lot of time. Moreover, the bagels themselves were delicious! I particularly enjoyed the asiago bagel with cream cheese, which was perfectly toasted and had just the right amount of flavor. Overall, I would highly recommend the Einstein Bagel's online app to anyone looking for a quick and convenient way to satisfy their bagel cravings.

Why is this app so hard to use?. I have several complaints about this app. 1-it requires me to use my rewards when ordering. I often order bagels for work and would like the option not to use rewards for these orders. 2- I cannot have multiple payment methods. I would like to have several cards loaded to the account and just select which card I would like to use for payment. I would like the option to have a personal card stored for my personal orders and I work hard stored for work orders. Every time I go to order it requires me to add a new card if I’m using a different form of payment. Super annoying! 3-when placing orders it uses more points than I have requested. If I select a reward later I will go back and look at the account and it has been deducted three times. It’s taking points for things I haven’t even gotten. These are some major glitches on the app. Super frustrating to use.

The App has No Problems!!!!!. I simply cannot have said this better for 1 the app is great never have a problem finding what I want and it is always easy to add another food item and even a new payment method, I also think the rewards are a great addition but we should get more points for each order. The workers you can tell work very hard. My Bagel is always ready when I get there which makes food trips faster and easy, a very cozy establishment as well. Never fails to blow me away how good the egg sandwiches are with a asiago bagel!!!

Pointless App. This app is pointless. Literally just a menu and a bank for Einstein only Funds. I get that you can order ahead with the app but you have to use preloaded funds and there’s not an exact amount you can add. Only multiples of $5. Which means you’re giving Einstein funds to hold that you might not use for forever if you aren’t a regular. It’s be nice if you could pay for the exact amount with a card just like EVERY OTHER PLACE! Also they have a rewards system but it won’t apply to your order in app, only in store. Which defeats the purpose of having a rewards system and trying to order ahead. Basically if you want to use your points or rewards and not give Enateins funds to hold. You can’t order a head. You have to go to the store. Wait in line ,( defeats ways around a pandemic) have them scan your reward, and pay for it there. Again no sense in having this app if that’s the only way all the perks work....

Love the food, need more from app. First off, I absolutely love the Asiago bagel as a sandwich with the delicious caribou coffee. Keeps me coming back for more! I wish the app allowed for you to order and choose a pickup time...I want my food fresh but don’t always want to get up super early to order and get it all within 10 minutes. A half hour delay option would be nice! Using the points for coffee upgrades is confusing when you order online. Not sure how you can use them after you redeem them for preordering.

Amazing team. Bagels are absolutely amazing, soft and delicious. But what truly takes the experience, quality, enjoyment, desire to return is the team. I am always welcomed with a friendly and helping smile. They are trials willing to help… and makes you feel very comfortable to ask questions, request selections, customize and order.. the staff treats me like family coming to the restaurant confused and unable to decide amongst the delicious menu options. The staff makes you feel comfortable and are patient so I can choose an option. Experience and the way customers are treated are top priority with your team, which results in myself, my friends, my colleagues, my patients, my family returning for more! Thank you for all you do! Cesar, Aileen and Family

Love the bagels, kinda hate the app.. My daughter has lots of food allergies and one thing we love about most online ordering apps is that we have lots of ways to customize orders. Your app does not, which is frustrating. We can’t get rid of spreads on sandwiches, or even write in no cheese or butter(of which she will immediately start throwing up when ingested, as well as break out in hives). So as much as we(including her) LOVE your bagels, we don’t often eat here. As a busy mom and teacher, I usually don’t have time in the mornings to stop, get everyone out, and go through an order line, then wait. I would be going here so often if I was just able to write in what NOT to put on her sandwiches.

Flawed rewards system on App. I was a big fan of the app until now. I am frequently finding the app to be buggy. To make matters worse, there is no link to support. The big promotion point for this app is the rewards and order ahead. I had enough points to apply 185 of them for any egg sandwich. I clicked on “Redeem points” and continued with check out. Poof, the points did not appear at checkout. I had to pay for my sandwich and coffee. Another big problem: there is no way to tip on the order. In the COVID-19 situation, I’m trying to avoid touching and exchanging notes. I purposefully do not carry cash. I feel bad that I am unable to tip the guys at store whom I frequently see working through these hard times.

Annoying payment. I tried ordering while on the go. When getting to the payment method it appeared I had to add money to my account before I could make my purchase. I was already on the road so I had to pull over to add a card. When I went back it still wanted money added to the account so, frustrated, I tapped the amount - and then found out they had Apple Pay as an option! Why not just offer Apple Pay to begin with? By this time I was near the restaurant but made my payment and found out it would be a 15-20 minute wait. Had I had the option for Apple Pay right away I would have been able to pay and arrive in about 15 minutes. Just a super frustrating experience.

Live Laugh Love Bagles. I am a sl*t for bagles. Literally no bagels compare. I’ve been going to Einstein’s since I had my first tooth and I’m 27 now. Maybe that’s because I’m Jewish and grew up in Colorado where Einsteins originally started.😅 The app makes it even better tbh. Who doesn’t love free things? I just wish they had a scan and pay feature that your card was connected to and then a scan feature that you just earn points and pay with your card or cash separately.

Einstein Rocks!!. Einstein bagel is a must stop at least once a week! They have a tempting variety of bagel sandwiches to cover any meal or hunger attack. They also have some good dessert items for your sweet tooth. Their coffee is always good and the free coffee with your purchase is a real deal for coffee lovers! The new items on their menu are all delicious and are well worth trying. Looking forward to Einstein bagel returning to their regular operating hours and bringing back their salads especially their potato salad and pickles which I love! Cheers!!

Gotta luv Einstein’s. Smart coffee and tasty bagels. If you’ve never tried their coffee, you’re missing out (other coffee houses- that shall remain nameless- have all kinds of fancy coffee but not a good ole regular cup of coffee). But Einstein’s has fancy coffee too if you so choose but you won’t beat their bagels and breakfast sandwiches anywhere. They have fruit and shmears that complete the meal and reheating at home is almost as good when I cannot finish it all or I want some for later. I’ve tried making bagels. It’s a lot of work so thank you Einstein’s (Noah’s).

Lacking in Basic Functionality. As others have mentioned, it would be great to have the ability to schedule an order for a later time or date. Instead you have to place tour order the morning of and pick up right away. That might not be an issue, but if the store doesn’t have what you want in stock, your out of luck and have no way of knowing until you arrive at the store. Additionally, there are no options to customize your order. If you want to make any changes (for example, exclude an item from a sandwich), again, you’re out of luck. There are a lot of improvements needed for this app to meet basic needs of most customers.

Excellent App. I last looked at this app months ago, but decided to have another go at it since a group of friends and I were headed out for breakfast today. What a change! Easy to sign up and create an account, easy navigation, and a big surprise when Apple Pay could be used to add funds. Which I did, to the tune of $50! A few minor quibbling points: The hamburger menu on the front page sometimes gets obscured by the changing front page photo. Took me a few log ins to finally see it. Perhaps make it more noticeable? I couldn’t find “Accepts Apple Pay” in the App description in the App Store, which would have been an instant selling point for me. Finally, I can’t seem to find any way to add a payment card to Apple Wallet for easy scanning in store. Am I overlooking something? All in all, though, well done and a nice app design.

No customization, menu options missing. I like the idea of the app and I LOVE that you get free coffee when you order using it, but I was really disappointed to find I wasn’t able to order my favorite thing using the app. Einstein Bros. sells pumpernickel bagels and it’s what I always get, but they’re not available on the app menu. Also, I like to add tomato to my bagel, and there is no way to customize anything in the app, like not at all. I don’t think free coffee will be enough to get me to settle for something that isn’t quite what I want every time. I will probably just keep ordering in person.

Bagel Bliss at Your Fingertips: The Einstein Bagels App. The Einstein Bagels app is a game-changer for bagel lovers like me! It's incredibly user-friendly, allowing you to browse their mouthwatering menu, customize your orders, and even earn rewards for your loyalty. Plus, the convenience of mobile ordering and quick in-store pickups makes breakfast or lunch a breeze. The app has definitely made my bagel experience better and more efficient. Highly recommended!

Poor App, great food. This application does not work very well. It worked perfectly at the start. After around two weeks to a month of using it, certain features stopped working. I became unable to reload my rewards balance through Apple Pay and my debit card. I resorted to buying digital gift cards through my web browser, and reloading my rewards balance using those. This morning, having just bought a big gift card to reload my balance, the reload feature stopped working. After punching in the gift card number and pin, filling out the captcha and proceeding, an error message that reads “object Object” appears, and stonewalls the process. Sad. I wanted to buy some bagels for some coworkers.

MOST WORTHLESS RESTAURANT APP EVER!. This app is a complete joke. I had to read some reviews just to make sure it wasn’t just mine that was completely useless! There is no way to customize your order…Who creates an app like this? And how is it rated this highly? I just don’t understand. First of all, I am annoyed that the store closes at 2:00pm in Fridays. So, I decided I would order my food on the app and pick it up on my way to a doctor’s appointment and keep it in a cooler…I love their bagel sandwiches and don’t have one close to home, so I was willing to go the extra mile to treat myself. Now I’m even more frustrated because I can’t customize my sandwich the way I want on the app…Ridiculous! Zero stars if that were an option!

App issues. The app often has issues. It won’t tell you something is out of stock or not, so you can order something and then it not be available when you get to the store. The store then cannot process refunds so you have to send an email to Einstein’s and wait several days before they even respond. Today, I placed an order online. The transaction shows in the app, but apparently it didn’t go through to the store. I never received a confirmation email. But it still charged the app, and I never got my order. Then I have to do the same process of emailing Einstein and waiting for days for a response. Terrible customer service.

Great bagels but are always out of jalapeño cheddar bagels before 10:30.. Hard to give you a 5 star rating when you are always out of jale cheddar bagels which are my fav. I am tired of having to call around in the am to figure out who still has some and it would be nice to be able to get them Later in the day like all the other bagels. So how about this - why not make more of them. Not rocket science to up the amount of jale cheddar bagels made if you are consistently out of them hrs before you close. Not really a smart business decision either. I will keep calling and driving around for another month or two and buy as many as you have. If any, but if you are not listening meaning I still have to call and drive around to get my bagels I will give up my Einstein favs in favor of my time and energy. Sincerely, Luvs bagels A good customer who luvs your bagels, cookies, all the baked goods and lastly the blackberry lemonade - all of which is truly awesome.

Lazy inflexible staff. The application does not allow for any customization and forces you to have plain bagels when buying sandwiches. When I contacted my local Einstein bagels,I asked if they had curbside pick up and if I could get a different bagel and they made it so hard not wanting to go to any extra effort, even though it’s coronavirus time and I didn’t want to go in there and pay in person. And that’s what they required to get the bagel I wanted on my sandwich.I tried one more time with an order from the app and then called ahead and asked for them swap it and they just dragged their feet so much, it’s just not worth dealing with them. I have since deleted their app and am much happier for it.

Rigid inflexible app, have stopped using. Unable to customize order in any way other than the insufficient options the app provides. I placed one order for ASAP and when I went into the store 15 minutes later they hadn’t even received it yet, it hadn’t gone through. Unable to modify or cancel an order once placed even immediately. App doesn’t show specifics of pickup location before confirming. Lost money using the app because it didn’t show the rewards or discounts I could have applied. No place or way to add a tip. I will not bother using it again until it’s vastly improved. I get much better results and service by ordering in person.

Einstein’s by Chandler Mall. I’ve been visiting this location the past few months when I need to change it up for breakfast. Their bagels are always so big and fresh just like NYC Bagels. I only wish there was one close to my home so I could get one on the weekends! The staff is always fast, I never have to wait for my online order and the place is always clean even though they are bustling with customers.

Losing My Business. Extremely frustrating that I cannot order off the website/computer. So I have to use the app, which I could get used to except I can’t customize or change ANYTHING. All I want is to get a bakers dozen box of bagels but I can’t choose the bagels, only the assortment they chose. To choose the bagels I want, I have to go in store and ask.... so what’s the point of ordering from the app if I have to walk in and order????? I love Einstein’s bagels but with literally no ways to order what exactly I want and terrible service in stores, I would rather go to a place that has slightly worse bagels but at least allows me to order correctly not in store.

Service. My wife and have frequently visited the store in Scottsdale on Scottsdale rd. We find the service to be very good, cleanliness very good and selection very good. Most of the time we come in around 11 am and we feel that they need to pay more attention to the coffee available and the creamers on hand. Two times I’ve had to ask for half and half, one time no regular coffee just the hazelnut. But overall the experience has been. There are many regular customers there also. Thank you.

App is Useless. I would like to use the app and make a purchase because it’s offering me a free coffee with purchase. But I can’t. Because the app just does not work. First, I cannot order what I would like to order because there is no way to customize any food items beyond bagel choice and egg choice. Second, it is literally impossible to pay on the app. It continuously crashes out and say “payment cannot go through because for security reasons account cannot exceed $200”. Which means that supposedly I have money on my Einstein rewards card. Which I don’t. Or else they wouldn’t be asking me to add funds before checking out. (I’ve tried it with about six credit cards and Apple Pay so it’s not on my end.). So a totally useless app.

Peace and calm. I just downloaded my Einstein Bagels app and I haven’t even used it yet. I’m giving it 5 stars, though, because every time I walk into Einstein’s I feel positive, happy, peaceful, and calm. The employees at the Einstein Bagels I go to are so pleasant, efficient, and friendly. And of course, the best bagels, coffee, tea, and other items on the menu are amazingly good. I can’t wait to go back and have another cinnamon stick. Mm mm mm... so delicious and light. Today’s Saturday so I’m thinking it’s a great day to go to my favorite Einstein Bagel shop.

Roll with the changes. This app has come a long way and I rolled with it and used my patience and love for their bagels made it all worth it. This app really did evolve. It's so close to perfect now that I can see past a few issues. I literally can pull up the app press a few buttons and have my order sitting and ready in minutes. And when I'm grumpy I don't even have to interact with anyone. Hard to put a price on that. This app is the BEST bagel app and one of the best fast service food apps that I use.

Einstein’s Bagels. I absolutely fell in love with Einstein’s years ago when I was living in another city! I was so excited when Chattanooga finally welcomed two locations! I really enjoy their tuna on Asiago bagel! The food is so fresh and yummy!! I can expect to get superior quality every time I order anything! My regular store knows what my son and I will order! They are friendly and very accommodating! The store manager, Charles, does an excellent job. His employees seem to enjoy working with him. This makes for a very welcoming experience!

Outstanding service and awesome food. The service at any Einstein Bagel is always very professional and fun at the same time. Place is clean and always wiped down. The servers that I’ve seen always go beyond serving, they treat each and every customer with dignity and respect. The food is prepared as it is ordered so it’s always hot and fresh. The one and only complaint I have is they run out of my favorite bagels but that’s on me because I can’t get there early.

Can’t customize a dozen bagels. I love the idea of pre-ordering for pickup and avoiding the line. However, when I simply want a dozen plain bagels I have to go to the store, wait in line and hope they have a dozen plain bagels available. The app defaults to a variety of bagels. The customize button is grayed out and doesn’t work. I know I’m not the only one who wants to choose which bagels are in their dozen as I’m often behind people ordering a dozen bagels. I bet the folks that work there would love for us to order our bagels in advance to make sure they are baking enough of the correct kind of bagels.

Ordering Choices Very Limited. The app seems to work okay but it’s impossible to order what you want. There is a single preset choice for ordering a bakers dozen with no capability to change the bagels in the order. My wife’s favorite bagel is not an option on the menu. There are limited options for sandwiches, for example, there is no choice of bagel for the breakfast bagels — you get what is on the menu or nothing at all. With the corona virus pandemic, one or two customers are allowed in the store at a time. It typically takes an hour to get in to place an order. Then takes about 20 minutes to get sandwich orders. This makes the app even more important for patronizing Einstein’s. It is a miserable failure in that regard.

May not have your favorite menu item. The latest version supposedly contains order ahead improvements. Here’s what didn’t improve. There is still a limited menu. My favorite, Honey Whole Wheat, and my daughter’s favorite,Pretzel, are still not available. I’ve mentioned this in the store, on surveys, and reached out to corporate to no avail. These disappeared several months ago. You may have to wait in the drive thru line or go inside and order. Also, you still can’t set a default store or favorite location. This slows down the order process. Used to be a fan of Einstein’s app. Not anymore. The reasons stated took me from a weekly+ trip to maybe every other month. I’m looking for convenience and they continue to make it harder to do business with the app.

Yummy. Ill always give the food 100% good review the only down fall with the app and the store is if they don’t have something at the store there’s no way to contact the customer through the app when ordering it before hand or when the order arrives to them. That’s happened a few times where I’ve paid never received a refund for the issue and left without a coffee beverage usually iced or specialty they have in the app. All in all the food is amazing and the coffee is still a fave of mine.

Third times a charm?. My first choice breakfast sandwich, how I order it ! Keeps me coming back! Have you been to ‘another ‘ coffee shop for breakfast and upon ordering, you are told ‘sorry, we’re out of those’... So you pick the ‘runner up’ sandwich, only to be told same thing! Third time choosing any single thing left you can order is not a charm! Plus Einstein prices are better, and it seems the coffee is actually poured to fill the cup, unlike those ‘other ‘ places! Doesn’t take a genius- go to Einstein!

I Love Einstein Bagels. My only issue is I buy mine by the dozen and we love sesame so when I try to order thru the app there’s no way to order a specific type of bagel its assortment packs so I have to call and bother the kids (working very hard there always under staffed) at the store. first to make my bagels, there’s never enough when I wander in, second to order my two dozen sesame before they close for the day. Thanks for the opportunity to express my thoughts

Buggy app for me. I enjoy Einstein bros bagels, but app was unstable for me for the last 2 months maybe. First it would just freeze on checkout loading screen. A few days ago I tried to place an order via Apple Pay, it charged my card but showed payment error in app. Then I checked my transactions in app, there was a purchase. I went to pickup my order and I was told at restaurant that there was no order in my name. So I paid and placed order again at restaurant. Now going to dispute that transaction with my bank. What happened to this app? Before it was good, now I don’t even want to use it as I am not sure will the order go through or not. I can’t even see history of my orders with items. I am using iPhone 15 pro, iOS 17.0.3.

A step backwards with less Functional app. Beware if you buy gift cards, or their eGift cards. You can’t use them with their mobile app. This used to be the case but you cannot do that anymore. In this modern day of e-commerce this is a step backwards . So if somebody gives me a gift card, I can’t use it unless I walk in and pay at the counter. This means that I have to wait in the line and I like to be able to order 20 so minutes in advance and pick it up on my way to where I need to go. I’ve told my friends not to give me those gift cards and I go to other places for breakfast most of the time. If they add this functionality back into the app, I will go more frequently and change my rating to Five stars.

Worst App. It’s almost like they don’t want your business. First, if you want to order online for pick up, you HAVE to download the app. After you place an order on the app, there is nothing to indicate you even placed an order. No pick up time, no check in for curbside, and no email with any of these instructions or even a receipt. The app flashes one instruction about pick up before disappearing and it was completely different than the instructions for curbside at the shop Once I pick up my order, of course I’m going to delete the app again. The food is good, when it’s available, but if it wasn’t for my family wanting their bagels today, I wouldn’t order from here.

Overall poor experience. Awkwardly long load times that left me sitting there wondering if the app was working at all. Several times I got an “oops, failure to load” notification. Finally had to start over from scratch, where for some reason it seemed to work slightly better. None of my info that I store on my phone was prompted to automatically fill in, so I had to type out all of the info individually which was just inconvenient. When I finally got the full order and payment info filled in, it error’d out twice before accepting the order just so that I could see they had pulled 3 times the amount of money into the rewards program then I had wanted. Also, no refund option on the rewards program makes it seem super shady and slimey. Overall, just a very inconvenient and frustrating experience for a first time user. Probably not going to use this system again. If I can’t order unless it’s through the app then I’m probably just not going to go again. Which is a shame, because I do like their food.

The Worst. You can watch the dough rise, your bagel cook, and cream turned into cheese before you’ll successfully enter a gift card to this app. It’s beyond stupid. Einstein Bros literally punishes you for adding gift cards. I wish I had video. There’s not just one, but two separate CAPTCHA tests where you get to prove to a computer that you’re not a computer. I’ve never seen CAPTCHA tests this bad. They had to be spec’d by Einstein Bros. On average, it took about 40 selections for each CAPTCHA, if they eventually worked, all to enter a gift card worth a few cups of coffee. What app on earth demands a user pass two separate CAPTCHA tests, each a long hassle, to enter a small credit? Keep your coffee and your bagels, Einstein Bros. If you can’t respect your customers more than that, you’ll have extra time to play with your CAPTCHA tests.

Best Bagels. I have been a consumer of Einstein bagels for decades. It started in Seattle and I was impressed then and continue to be impressed today here in Phoenix. Every “today” Is like the surprise and joy of the first time. I look forward to each and every purchase no matter what style, flavor, smear, or toppings I select. The consistency and quality is unmatched in my opinion. Thank you for the hard work it takes to maintain high quality of product and the service of the well-trained employees.

App allows you to order items even if they aren’t in stock. Ordering ahead is nice, only if your order is what you actually ordered and is ready when it says it’s supposed to be. The app allows you to order bagels or sandwiches they don’t have in stock at specific locations, so you show up when it says it’s supposed to be ready and it’s not. After waiting for a while you ask an attendant and they say they don’t have the certain bagel in stock so they didn’t start making it. There was no message from the store or anything alerting me that what I have originally ordered wasn’t available at the location. This app fails if it can’t track a stores stock. 0/10 for the app and 0/10 for Einsteins in La Jolla

Einsteins bros. bagel is awesome. Every time I walk into the store before I knew about the app. Everyone put their effort in greeting me and wanting to know what I wanted. If I was confused about something that I didn’t know about during the app. The app has some bagels that are in store and some that are limited time have to be in person. It’s a quick little navigator but it’s awesome. I love this app and the store, and everything about this place.

Easy to use. Since I’ve moved I didn’t have a Starbucks near by just the Einstein and I would go once every Friday to get Carmel Cooler and All-Nighter Sandwich and yes the line is long every morning I suggest ordering ahead and since the pandemic the sitting area is closed inside but open outside. I did grow to love this breakfast place and recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it should go immediately. 10/10 recommend the app to earn points to receive free perks/food.

Our Einstein’s truly is genious!. Love being able to do the online order and then come through the drive-through to get it if I don’t feel like going in. The one near me is quite popular so they sell out of the most popular bagel products which I think is a good sign because it keeps everything very fresh. The team behind the counter has always been very friendly and helpful to me and I appreciate that!

Better late than never. Improvements have arrived in the Einstein app, including better order customization. Took a while, but greatly appreciated. Still some room for improvement (split cream cheese selections with Bakers Dozen Box, for example), but glad to see the app isn't trapped in amber. More generally, the interface is serviceable and appreciate the option to schedule pickup. Unlocks rewards program. If you order from Einstein more than 6-8 times per year, this is worth your while.

One of the worse restaurant apps I’ve used. This app has Apple Pay which is nice, but you can’t even customize a drink to add almond/soy milk instead of regular milk. No option for extra or light cream cheese customization either. A few customizable options or maybe inserting a “notes” section with your item is the bare minimum in my opinion. Lots of people have dietary restrictions or even just personal preferences, and this app is not very accommodating at all. They give you rewards and free gifts which is nice, but that’s the only reason I’ll give it a star, along with the Apple Pay for the exact amount you need to pay instead of certain even increments only.

Best bagels in town. I absolutely love Einstein bagels. They’re made fresh every day and so soft. I never knew that a bagel could be so soft when I used to buy the frozen ones hard as a rock. I am hooked on Einstein bagels for the selection and flavors is very vast. The coffee is Is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. As for soft drinks they sell Mr. Pibb and the soda machine with ice. This is a hard soft drink to find not in a bottle. Overall always have excellent service. Do yourself a favor and go to Einstein‘s for your bagels coffee and Mr. Pibb soft brinks....

Not well suited for busy times. I’ve only had one experience with this app, but it seems that there is no balance for in person orders and online orders. Employees are trying as hard as they can but if things get slammed in person or lots of online orders come through, they have no way to protect themselves. I got a 10-15 min estimate and it took 30 once I was in the store. Estimates on the app could be more accurate. There’s also no way to look at the progress of your order, see new time estimates, see what time you placed the order that I could find. I think the app could be vastly improved to provide accurate estimates and more transparency that your order hasn’t been misplaced.

Great quality and service every. time.. No matter which location I go to, I’m always greeted with a smile and great customer service. The problem with a lot of chain restaurants is the lack of consistency. Einstein Bros Bagels has consistency among all of their locations which makes them reliable no matter where I’m traveling for work. Their bagels taste amazing too. Freshly made and great quality. I’ve been a long time customer and will continue to be.

Love my neighborhood Einstein!!. besides the terrific food and breakfast sandwiches that I go for I love my neighborhood Einstein staff and owner. I admit that before Covid it was more of a family gathering place of new friends but looking forward to the future it will be that way again I’m sure. It doesn’t matter if I get there 15 minutes before closing which by the way I try never to do they always have a smile on their face and assure me that it’s no problem at all to fix my order. Go Einsteins!

Bri. App is easy to understand and user friendly! Super convenient to scan when visiting Einsteins! The only downside would be that you cannot select how many point to redeem, for example, I was informed that if I wanted to redeem points it would automatically take off the most point-expensive item. In this scenario I wanted to redeem points for a bagel and have points left over, however the system took points off for a beverage instead.

App Need More Customization Options. We love Einsteins and everything about it so this review is just about the app and the features that it could improve upon. I understand limiting customizations you can make in an online app order, but simple things like having a bagel sliced or not sliced or leaving a certain ingredient on or off a sandwich bagel would be helpful. With the increase in wanting to make things more contactless and less time in the store these additional options would have me (and I’m sure many other customers!) using the app and ordering ahead more. 😊
