tell your friends. seriously.. I’ve been using Centr since it was released last year. I downloaded it because somewhere inside of me, I was convinced that if I used it well enough, my lazy hawaiian okole could compete with Chris Hemsworth and maybe be worthy enough to one day hold Mjolnir..... or something. I loved the workouts. I would do a few of them each day, but I didn’t pay much attention to the other features offered in-app. After months of doing the rounds that I usually do with fitness apps and eventually gassing out, I decided to actually follow the meal plans and do the guided meditations. It dawned on me that the way I was pushing my body was doing more harm than good, and if I started being more mindful of my entire body, I would achieve a goal I never dreamed I’d had; To be completely content in my own body. (The programs are flexible of course. Not everyone wants to focus on mindfulness. Bobby and Da Rulk’s workouts are perfect for a heavy burn/strength building minded person, imo.) My point is that this app is amazing. It helped me to find my center (pun.... intended? idk). I have learned so much and I’m always excited to share my knowledge with my friends. I’ve told so many people about Centr. The meal planning with the ‘add to shopping list’ button that has only the portions that you’ll need to cook with? *chef’s kiss* I love it. TELL EVERYONE.

So Close. I tried the 1 week trial but decided not to purchase at this time. I enjoyed the workouts where the coach spoke to you but many of them had no vocal instructions with them. They simply showed the person doing the exercise but didn’t discuss technique which is what I expected on the coached versions. I’m a beginner and hearing the little tips helps tons; for example in other workout video they said “put your weight through your heels not your toes” that one thing completely changed what I did even though the motion I performed looked similar to the video. Without that coaching it felt empty and I didn’t look forward to it. Adding music would also help, but they do have a great feature where you can link your own songs. Features I loved were the ability to filter on the coach, the integrated meal plans, and daily schedule. It was awesome to be able to go search by coach or focus area. All of the meals looked amazing I wish I had time to try them all. I would have kept this if all of the coaches talked to coach you through the exercise. Even if they dub the voice over the existing videos this wold be improvement and be very helpful for beginners. I’d also like to see stretching integrated at the beginning of the workout. Sometimes they used large gym equipment not typical for a home and it would be nice to have alternative moves suggested. I’m going to look around a bit more but hope the voice coaching is added to the videos this would probably bring me back.

Pretty layout, but novice program design. Billing itself as a comprehensive plan I was curious, but this really intended for those who need to be told what to do and is not really a tool for those with knowledge. Apple lists this as free, with in app purchases. That is misleading. It is a subscription model and a rather expensive one at that. The genuine information is tucked away, but you must look for it. Nevertheless I thought it was worth checking out during the free week. First time I opened it, I immediately got the introductory email from them. Looked around. Not for me and can’t keep it at that price. Unsubscribe. During the next week, anytime I opened the app, I would get three solicitation emails within an hour. I don’t really like being actively tracked this way. I unsubscribed to the email list and despite deliberately checking off I didn’t want to receive these types of communication back on the first use, I am still getting bombarded a week later. If you need motivation to “do something” and aren’t overly concerned with progression or clear training protocols, this might be worth a look. However, for the subscription fee I think it should be more. I have other free training apps that provide a clear progression path and more structure at no cost.

This is a SCAM. I tried the free trial, things were great and dandy. The food was good, the workouts were okay (just showing you how to do exercises and putting them in a schedule for you.) I tried to cancel the free trial on the app as I didn’t want to continue. Well, the app won’t let you cancel. Fine enough, I’ll go to the site, type in the wrong password a few times and finally get through. I get to the membership section and try to cancel. Seems easy enough. At the end of the trial I get a bill. Huh, must be a mistake. Contact the support team and they state they can not give a refund when I’m now one day into my one year membership. Oh but they assured me its now canceled so next may I won’t be charged. Also there’s a promise this is by Chris hemsworth. I gave this a good try and he had one short meditation read through. These people are SCAMMERS. DO NOT TRY THIS APP. Further update after developer response: They state their terms are clear and you need to cancel on the platform you signed up on. Let’s get this very clear. YOU CAN NOT CANCEL FROM THE APP. Then they say to email them. Too late, already tried that. Fix your app so people can cancel from it. They also note that Apple won’t remove any low star ratings. I’m not sure why they feel the need to mention this but good; as they shouldn’t. Especially when there was nothing in my review that wasn’t honest at the time of writing.

Motivating App. Centr has been a wonderful fit for me. I’d previously done the Zoco Body Pro beginners guide, however after two repetitions of that 12 week program I found myself getting board with the repetition. Centr has a ton of variety. I especially like the guided workouts. The coaches have great advice and are positive and motivating. I also like that you’re not locked in to a specific program. You can go between beginner, intermediate, and advanced easily based on your preference for that workout. You can also change your dietary plan between regular, vegan, etc... I think that’s an awesome and special thing, most other programs make you spend more to unlock new workout levels or new diet plans. I absolutely love this app and have committed to a year long subscription. I also love that you can access it from the website. I tend to use that most of the time as I like to play the guided workouts on my large computer monitor so it’s easier for me to follow along.

Exactly What I’ve Been Looking For. I’ve been looking for a while for an app/program/trainer that could match what I was looking for in a healthy lifestyle. I needed workouts that pushed me, easy to make food that was healthy and actually tasted good, and I really needed someone who understood the importance of mindfulness. Centr is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I get overwhelmed pretty easily and when that happens it’s easy to revert to bad eating habits, skipping workouts or phoning it in, and forgetting to meditate. Centr makes it easy by having meals, workouts, and meditations ready for me in the planner, and if I don’t particularly feel up to those suggestions I can easily swap them out for other meals or workouts that are more inline with my capabilities or supplies. I don’t have to stress about it. I just have to show up (metaphorically speaking). The team and community are extremely helpful and welcoming. There’s a lot of support and positive encouragement amongst all the members. It’s only a few days in but I already feel so much better. If you’re thinking about getting the app, get it, show up, commit, I promise it’s worth it.

Love it but........ I love this app! I have not been on in long but in the three weeks I have, I have noticed my fitness improving and a broadening of my flavor palate. I also have a new appreciation for taking a moment for myself and meditation, however, there are a few improvements I think could be made. First It would be very helpful if the self guided workouts had the trainer say the exercise before the timer starts because of you are doing these workouts at the gym of self guided you have to be watching the screen the entire time in order to know the moves you are supposed to be doing. Another improvement I think could be made is a setting that filters other eating restrictions, for instance I am not vegan or vegetarian but I do not eat red meat, and although I can swap the recipes with red meat in them I think it would be nice if there were a feature that I could turn on that would allow me not to have recipes with red meat in my eating plan.

Best Fitness App! Can’t live without!!. I’ve been using Centr for about a year and a half now and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I was not in the healthiest place beforehand and really needed something I could do at home then work my way back into a gym, but more than that: get my nutrition under control without hating my life filled with plain oatmeal, grilled chicken & steamed veggies. The food is DELICIOUS and I feel so comfortable in a kitchen now, too (never used to cook much cause I didn’t really know how). I lost weight and felt so much healthier just from the nutrition, then started using workouts at home and seeing so many more results. I would suggest that if they can connect with Apple TV in an update that would be amazing to follow along with the workout but if not you can always send the videos from your phone to your tv to workout at home. You can do a non-guided option, too which makes it easier to do the workouts in a gym without walking around playing a video. Highly recommend this app!!

Fantastic app but I have a few feature requests. 1. Be able to customize the meals for the planner based on your dietary restrictions. e.g., I have acid reflux so I can’t eat tomatoes, onions, garlic and peppers. Garlic and peppers are easy to omit but it would be great to enter my restrictions into my profile and no longer get meals on the planner that have tomato and/or onion. 2. Be able to log my nutrition. If you do a Centr program, there’s no way for them to log your daily nutrition. This will be very helpful since nutrition is an important part of your fitness journey. 3. Be able to log your weight/rep after your done exercising. The last thing I want to do between rest periods is log the weight I used. I’m just trying to catch my breath and get ready for the next one. There should be a way to enter this info before completing there workout and without restarting an exercise.

Unimpressed. Was extremely excited about this app but the application itself seems to be a glorified web app and works about as well. No iPad version so don’t plan on watching these workouts on your tablet. I tried loading up the workout for day 2 and found that the app really wants you to own an Apple Watch. To the point that I couldn’t get a couched workout to play without viewing the health settings for the watch. I get that it makes it better but if I don’t have my watch I guess that means that I don’t get to workout the way I want. I did grab my watch and do the boxing workout fantastic workout but not sure it did anything special but then again it’s just the first week. Oh but when I went to stop the workout I got nothing but errors. I’m actually pretty certain the app is still running a workout on my watch. The recipes seem interesting but do require some new staples. By my estimate about $130 of just staple ingredients and then any week to week produce and meats you need. Anyways with the subscription costs, the food costs, equipment/gym membership and the apps general usability this is a don’t buy from me. Hope it improves!

All I Can Say Is AMAZING!!. Wow honestly, and I know this sounds cheesy, this app is life changing. It is BY FAR one of the best fitness apps on the market right now. They do so many incredible luxury of life changes that most other apps don’t offer that alone is enough for the five star review. These luxury of life things are just like simple bits other apps totally leave out like the grocery list, choosing what level of workout you want, the option to either watch a video along to your workout or just go by the pictures and giving you the option of making everything a check list or not. The workouts are soooo great!! I work up a huge sweat every time I do one even if it’s on beginner!! And all the people who coach the workouts are wonderful! I never thought a Australian MMA fighter was what I needed to motivate me to get through some of these workouts but it is!! I also really enjoy all of the recipes I have tried so far. They are not to hard and actually taste super great while not being to restrictive. Anyways I love this app, well worth the membership fee and log into it at least once a day.

This app is nearly perfect. It’s just missing a few little things to make it a complete 5 star app.. First of all, this is the best workout and health/fitness app on the App Store. It has a great variety of workouts, excellent recipes that are healthy and easy to make, and has a holistic wellbeing approach to emotional and mental health that other apps lack. That said, it’s missing a few core features that would make it a 5 star app: 1. The ability to save favourite workouts and swap them in as required. Sometimes I want to do a particular weight set because I know the next day I’ll have to just do bodyweight exercises. Let the users save favorites and customize their plan a bit! 2. Save favourite recipes. My wife is gluten free but I’m not, so when I find a good gluten free recipe I want to save it. I can pull it from the website, but why add extra steps? Let us save the recipe list in the app for easy access. 3. An iPad app. I workout without glasses on and it’s tough to see the screen sometimes. I can use the iPad but it is awkward just using a 2x sized phone app. I would love an actual iPad app to use as a companion to the phone app. 3. When playing the workouts, indicate what the next exercise will be during the rest screen. Right now I have to pause it and get setup which throws off the flow of the workout. If the next workout was displayed earlier I could flow between exercises more smoothly.

Great App! Great Program! Horrible Customer Service!. Centr is great for people of all backgrounds! It’s app is easy to use and has a great variety of workouts! They also structure a plan in a way that is easy to follow. However this is not receiving 5 stars simply for their backend customer service. I cancelled my plan the day before the next billing cycle because of financial reasons. What they do next is charge me and then proceed to send an email asking why I cancelled. Now I had every intention of signing back up again once I get some more financial stability, but the fact they charged me after I cancelled is where I am upset. Once I realized what had happened I filed for some help on the customer service page. No number and said they will get back to me in 2-3 days. Enough time for payment to finish processing… Now I do understand I should have taken the initiative to cancel sooner, but it goes to show how much I enjoyed using Centr. I’m just disappointed in their lack of backend service. Will change this review if situation improves… but for now all those considering Centr, just be aware that their backend service is awful.

I love it so far. I have just joined and I’m giving this app five stars. I think that for what the app gives you, it’s a really great option. Yes, there are probably going to be some speed bumps, the app just went live. From what I’ve explored so far, the recipes look really great and the select few that I have tried so far have been really good. I like that the recipes are a little bit outside of my comfort zone, because my comfort zone is what got me to where I am now. I’ve only tried a couple of the exercises so far, but I really like them. I think what you need to understand with this app is that it just went live. It needs time to grow and to change. They will listen to your feedback. If you don’t like the recipes, then you can modify them. The app gives me a planner and helps me with my accountability. The Facebook group also associated with the app gives me a community of people that I know are like me. I am really glad that I joined and I cannot wait to see where this app is going to take me.

So much potential. This app is in its infancy and that’s something to consider when writing this review. I think the video content is great, but some lack audio direction. It’s meditations are short and very helpful. It’s nutrition plan is... well very daunting to someone who is very busy or is trying to be budget conscious but receptors are simple and look great. I have issues with the Apple Music sync which is very annoying with the workout videos that are silent. There should be an option to include the audio walkthrough/commentary to the video for home workouts so your not constantly having to look if it’s over or moving on. I also expected it to be a bit more personalized in diet and exercise. Maybe an option to add body fat percentage and dietary goal (calorie allowance), parts of body you want to focus on etc. That being said I think it has superb content, it just needs to smoothen out the rough edges and then it’ll be the best app out there. I’m going to stick with it just because i really like it and expect improvements.

Love that Centr. I originally tried out Centr because of Chris Hemsworth, but now it has become a key part of my day for exercise and stress release. I absolutely love all the trainers and how supportive, entertaining, and upbeat they are, always pushing with positive energy and making me do exercises I didn’t think I could do. I also really appreciate the variety of workout types and the ease of swapping to different workouts. The core exercises are actually helping me with some back and leg pain problems that I’ve been struggling with for a long time. I occasionally have different family members join me, from ages 15 to 67, each working at their own pace and ability. Everyone who tried it enjoyed it and got a fun but great workout. My daughter liked it so much, she is now introducing it to her graduate school friends at Stanford. Thanks so much for providing such a pleasant and convenient way to get or keep fit during this pandemic and beyond!!!

Amazing health and fitness app. I’m on my second week of the Centr fitness transformation, I’ve dropped 7lbs already. Let me list what I love about this app. For starters they guide you through everything, and I literally mean everything. From what to get at the grocery store to working out this app holds back no punches. It’s nice that they teach you how to make your meals step by step, it makes the learning curve for learning how to cook a lot easier. I also love how they show you modifications for work outs. Being a beginner it’s hard for me to do certain workouts the way they are intended, the coaches understand this and will show you how to modify certain workouts. Finally I gotta give credit where credit is due, the coaches, they really encourage me to keep going even when I’m tired, they keep pushing me to finish the workout. I may feel tired in a moment but once that workout is over I feel amazing. I appreciate that there is beginner workouts for me so I don’t crash and burn in the first week. If you are thinking about trying Centr give it a go, they give out a free week of the services and I would highly recommend it!

Out of shape person trying this app for honest review!. So you’re probably a lot like me. You’ve tried several things but nothing seems to work. Life gets in the way you lose motivation etc etc. Honestly this is the first app that has ever worked for me. I struggle with knowing what to eat but don’t mind cooking and let me tell you the meals are REALLY good. First week you’ll find yourself spending a bit extra for groceries but once you have all the random seasonings you may need you’ll be set. The portions of the meals are very satisfying too. I’m finding myself not wanting to snack or binge to not ruin the next good meal. And if you know you won’t like the meal option it’s very easy to swap out. And the workouts. Okay I’m not in shape haha at all but the workouts you can adjust the intensity to from beginner to expert and throughout the video there’s plenty of ways to modify and the instructors show you how. I genuinely have fun with the exercises they keep you entertain. Honestly it’s a good app but the final factor is keeping your own motivation

Poor App. Got the app 3 years ago and loved it. Working out with Luke, Ralk and Bobby was terrific and I was in the best shape I had been in years. Changes that I wasn’t thrilled with was that some of the workouts seemed to be getting shorter. What was 35-40 minutes became 20 or so. Then I suffered a severe burn on my foot and stopped working out till it healed. When I went back to Centr it had major glitches. Workouts stopped between warm up, workout and cool down. Freezing or just not working seemed common. I used Centr in addition to running but the frequency of glitches peaked in August when the app would even open. The Centr sent an email of a free month and sadly that didn’t materialize either. So calculating the cost vs how much I had access I didn’t renew. Sadly I miss the workouts but I don’t miss the technical issues. May return if they work those things out. But a final thought seems to be a heavy reliance on equipment now. I travel and usually spaces are tight so Centr was perfect. Now it seems to be moving to more gym equipment focused workouts . I wonder if the archive of workouts from the early days of Centr are available. I would use them. I couldn’t find them when I looked but the app wasn’t working well either. Let me know.

Perfect. After the free 7 day-trial, I knew this app would work for me. I explored the app , and with my intermediate workout experience, decided that it was perfect. You first enter your fitness goals and the app automatically tailors a weekly plan to help you reach your goals. The weekly pan includes: daily workout, quick meditation, three meal recipes, and a post work out shake recipe. Majority of the workouts have three levels of difficulty you can experiment with, two levels in some cases(intermediate or advanced.) There is also a library full of various type of exercises to keep you busy if you want to mix it up. It’s important to be flexible with the workouts and meals, since it’s not realistic to expect a “one size fits all” plan to basically dictate your life. Don’t be afraid to make adjustment. Personally, I modify some exercises with body weight vests if they’re too easy, or take longer breaks if they’re too hard, for example. The meals keep me satiated, energized, and I’m eating less now than before. Overall it’s been a 10/10 for me.

THE app that keeps on giving!. I signed up just for the workouts. What I got was so much more! First off, the workouts are amazing! There are world class trainers ready to help you reach your goals, no matter what your fitness level. You want strength training? How about yoga or Pilates? Do you just want an incredibly sweaty, fat burning workout? They’ve got it all here. The trainers are super helpful and even answer questions on social media and post frequent videos to help the members out. You have the choice to do what workouts your planner gives you daily (plus, what to eat, including recipes and a really awesome shopping list) as well as some meditations to help you sleep or just de-stress. If you don’t want what Centr has chosen for you, you simply push the ‘switch it up’ button and pick something else. They even have some great info on having healthy relationships. I could go on and on about what Centr has to offer. You really just need to get it and do it. And to all those complaining about the price, I’m paying 27 cents a day to better my life in so many areas! Shhh, don’t tell Chris Hemsworth but I would pay a lot more for this incredible app! ❤️💪

Scam, unprofessional, and shady. 1 star for the content on the app after 2 weeks (had and paid for the app for a year and barely used it) 0 stars for customer service. If you don’t have the app/ subscription, it’s really not that great. Very basic and once you do one or two weeks it’s literally the same workouts for a year. The meal plan is very basic and not worth the $120 you spend for the year. There are plenty of workout routines you can find online that are so much better. Also if you do signup and realize that you don’t want it anymore, don’t forget to mark in your calendar to cancel because they will charge you again for another year of the same basic workouts and meal plans and will give you the run around and tell you basically they don’t care that not only did they not tell you but they won’t refund you. Also they will say something about outlining the terms and conditions but what they won’t tell you is they make it impossible to cancel on time. Most businesses will warn you before charging you but this company will take your money and then cancel your subscription and keep your money. Simply put they are thief’s.

Inspiration, motivation, and Mental Wellness in one app.. I’ve toyed around with the idea of getting this app and following along with it for a while now. Tried it for a couple of months early on but work and real life got in the way. I stuck to just doing my own thing in the gym and that was enough at the time. Then covid hit and my gym was gone. I went 2 years with little to no exercise and struggled to find the strength and determination to start that climb all over again. Then I saw Centr in my app list again. On a whim I decided to check it out. I won’t lie their meal plans take some getting used to, at least for me, and since starting to stick to them as much as possible I’ve found myself buying and cooking with things I’ve never tried before. Their workouts are great for any experience level, and they’ve got options for both a fully stocked gym as well as body weight at home. Even better their coaches are terrific at what they do, and know just what to say to give me that final spark to push to the end. I’m a yearly subscriber now, and plan to remain so. If you’re struggling with your own motivation, maybe lost on what to eat or when, perhaps you’ve even got too much noise in your mind to focus up and settle in, they’ve got everything you need. You’ve got nothing to lose except time you’re already wasting now chasing your goals. Get after it!

Great content, but A LOT of work to be done on user experience. I absolutely love the content that’s on the Centr app - the workouts, the programs, the recipes, the meditations. I’ve definitely gained great value from the workouts and recipes. However, there is A LOT of work to be done to improve the user experience in the app. I have a running note of all of the things I feel this app needs to make it “keep worthy” for the long run and I won’t share them all here, but TLDR I think it would do Centr a huge benefit to run some focus groups and user testing of which I would be more than happy to be part of. I’m also curious as to how often the app is updated - and I’m not talking about the content because I did notice some new content got added recently. I’m talking about updating the basic functionalities of the app. Most recently, the workouts that I’ve completed in the Centr Power: Beginner program have not been marking themselves as completed and I’ve also lost the ability to manually mark them as complete on the weekly program pages. I did end up subscribing to a year of Centr because that’s how much I really love the content, but it’s basic things like what I described above that cause me to NOT recommend this app to others. PLEASE take the time to improve the app so that is consumers can continue to benefit from it and improve our overall wellness and our lives.

Best app on the market!!!. Absolutely love this app! The workouts are awesome and really engaging! Love the fact you can choose between beginner, intermediate or advanced! The instructors are really good and make me feel like their actually talking to me! They do a good job at keeping me engaged and wanting to go one more! It is a little pricey but if you pay the full year at one time it makes it competitive with all the other apps out there but it better than all them!! I highly recommend this app. Love how customizable it is and that you can add more workouts. I was never a person that would meditate and since I’ve been using this app I have been doing meditation every night before I go to bed. I also use the sounds and fall asleep to that and I’ve been getting the best rest in a decade! The recipes are a little complicated and I prefer to food prep a week at a time so I have not really dived to deep into the recipes. I use a different food tracker for the food aspect. However there are some really good recipes on here and I can’t wait to give some of them a try!!!

MY FAVORITE APP. I joined Centr at its inception and I am so happy that I made the choice. Centr has kept me focused and motivated through many different changes to my exercise regiment. I have done CrossFit for the last seven years and wanted to change up my routine. I love the variety between hiit workouts, and yoga is my absolute favorite (Tahl is awesome) Pilates also challenges my core and mobility which I desperately need!! I also love that there are amazing recipes and ideas for snacks and smoothies that keep me and my two daughters on track with our diet. I recently started the fusion program and I am on week two and enjoying the challenge of workouts that I have not engaged in before. Overall this is by far been my favorite app purchase. I’m so thankful for the trainers and coaches and I’m so excited to see the changes in my body as well as my mind and focus and don’t forget about the meditation component, definitely helps me quiet my mind and focus when I need it! Chris’ medications crack us up! Thank you Centr!!

Best fitness / workout / lifestyle app!!. I’ve tried so many apps and classes and workout styles… none of them compare to Centr!!! I absolutely love the programs they have (typically 6 weeks each) that guide you through gradually to harder workouts. I can honestly say I’ve never been in better shape than using the Centr app. I enjoy mostly that there is a variety of workout styles - HIIT, yoga, boxing, Pilates, cardio, functional strength etc. There’s always good music in the background of the guided workouts and the trainers are really fun and funny. Also, the recipes are so delicious and they make it easy to eat healthy - because the meals are super flavorful, you can automatically add ingredients to a shopping list, and you know everything has been vetted by a nutritionist. Thank you Thor and the Centr team for creating an app that I can adopt as a healthy lifestyle (and not just some gimmick fad trend diet and workout plan).

Wow. Sorry if this seems scatter brained but I can’t say enough great things about Centr and the team involved with this app. It is just amazing. My schedule is crazy being a full time student, working full time, and a dad, so the gym isn’t an option. I’ve always loved home work outs too and after being a subscriber to a competitor, I’m so thankful I made the switch. Everything i need is already planned out for the day and if it doesn’t work for me or I want something else, I can easily swap it out. The meals are great, full of flavor, cost effective, and filling. The workouts are short and I’m actually sore all over from each one so far but it’s just the right amount so I’m not needing to skip a day. All I have are dumbbells, a resistance band, and a jump rope, and that’s all I need so far. To everyone involved, thank you so much because I can already tell after a short time that this is going to be a life changer.

Ok but not for those just starting. This is a decent workout app, there are some solid exercises in here and routines. It does the basics of giving you a schedule and helping to keep yourself accountable throughout, and from what I’ve read the meal planning is great (haven’t done it, I’m comfortable with my meal planning already). As far as the instructionals, they are supremely lacking. When it comes to performing certain exercises, there is little to no guidance given as far as what to feel, how your body should be positioned, proper form, etc. The most guidance you will get is from the Pilates portion. But I would go as far as saying it is dangerous for novices jump right into some of these workouts. Otherwise, you need to really slow yourself down and analyze the instructors’ body movements to get the full effect or you’re just going to injure yourself. Some of the advanced moves like in Da Rulk’s training and Luke’s is great, but it needs to be explained. If not broken down, I can see a lot of people easily being overwhelmed from the get go and giving up before even starting their journey. It seems like they attached a few famous names to a workout app and asked them to send in videos of them working out. I was in the physical fitness industry before this pandemic, and I want to see people succeed but I feel like this could put a lot of people off as well.

Excellent app with a few significant bugs. I absolutely love Centr’s system for living a healthier life. Great workouts, great recipes, and great meditations make it an easy choice to sign up. You have a ton of flexibility to do workouts that fit your needs, and change your regimen to whatever works best for you. Personally I use the apps for the iPhone and Apple Watch, and the web app sometimes from a larger device tablet because the recipe view is better on a big screen. I find it handy to AirPlay the workouts to my Apple TV so I’m not squinting at my phone during a workout to figure out what I’m doing next. It’d be even better if an Apple TV app is in the works! HOWEVER, there are a few serious issues with the Apple Watch app that I’d love to see resolved. Trying to click the Stop button from the Watch doesn’t stop a workout or respond in any way for me on my Series 4, and a workout completing on the phone does not consistently end the workout on the Watch. Also, if I click “Start Workout” from my phone, it frequently doesn’t give me credit for my workout in the Apple Fitness app. I have to make sure to click “Start Workout” on the Watch. I don’t mind doing this, but it feels like I shouldn’t have to remember which yellow button with the same label does what I want. All that said, thank you to the Centr team for making such a great, holistic health app! I’ve lost 10 pounds using Centr and plan to keep on going!

It’s good but it could be great. Great workouts. Great recipes. ....but it some of the workouts feel raw and unfinished. For example Centr 6. The weekly workout is great but it’s the same thing every week for 6 weeks. I think having different workouts every week or every 2 weeks would be much more interesting and the user could learn more moves. It also doesn’t feel finished. What I mean is there needs to be a timer displayed for each move as well as start and stop sounds. The name of the exercise should also be displayed the entire time you are supposed to be performing it. This is not the case and some times I lose track of where I am. I also want to mention that sometimes it feels like they only did one take of the exercise and went with it. Having a little more rigidity within each workout session would go a long way. Some other suggestions would be having substitutes for some of the meal ingredients like something that would be easier to find at your local grocery. Don’t get me wrong though the meals are delicious I just can’t always find or afford the ingredients that are used. Also having the option to do the workouts with out having the music and trainers talking in the background and just having a timer and start/stop sounds. That way I can play my own music but still keep track of the time. Having a way to integrate your own music into the programs and workouts would be amazing. Overall it’s a really good app but with some improvements it could be a great app

Everything About This Program is Awesome!. The overall structure and information contained in the fitness app is, I cannot stress this enough, AMAZING. They have different types of fitness programs to suit everyone’s needs. You can follow the programs that they have or you can explore recipes, workouts, meditations and health and wellness articles to craft your own. They are always introducing new workouts, programs or fun videos and it is well worth the yearly subscription, hands down. My personal favorites: I really enjoy the more bodyweight with little equipment workouts, Da Rulk workouts (lives up to the hype), Pilates (graciously humbled by how hard Pilates can be), Martial Arts workouts and yoga sessions. The articles are good reads and the recipes are easy to make and have inspired me to create my own twist on recipes (they have regular, vegetarian, pisco. And vegan diet options for recipes)

Just not there. No music. No clock. No guidance. No list of upcoming exercises. No instructor energy. The exercise videos are just not at a level you would expect from a purchased app. There’s no clock to tell you how much time is left, just a meaningless bar at the bottom of the screen. The instructors don’t provide suggestions to improve technique. There aren’t additional people in the videos showing modifications. This format is certainly not for beginners, as they’ll quickly become frustrated. The lack of music in the videos contribute to the overall lack of energy. The lack of ‘workout buddies’ in the videos also make for a poor video. There’s no opportunity for the instructor to show good form, modifications, or even banter. What you end up with is a very flat, uninspiring workout video. There isn’t anything special about the routines. Pretty standard stuff. Compare this to the energy, excitement, and variety you get in a Les Mills or Beachbody workout, and you’ll instantly understand what I’m talking about. I tried this, because programs like Les Mills lack the overall integrated diet and wellness plan, but those features can’t overcome what the Centr exercise routines are lacking.

Not bad at all. This app provides sooooo much good stuff! Meals, meditations, workouts, so much! The workouts are great and challenging, however they don’t really support people new to working out or even just people new to body weight workouts. I’m someone who is very active but has been that way through weight lifting and cardio alone, so jumping into body weight workouts was very challenging for me not because the workouts were hard, they are definitely hard, but because the form was really hard to understand for me but all I had to go on was a 20 second clip of the trainer doing the exercise, so I was left to figure it out. That could be improved upon. Also, there should totally be a “Thor workout routine” or something like that under programs. A lot of people get the app because it’s under Chris Hemsworth’s name, aka Thor. It’s not for everyone, but a Thor workout routine and diet would be so cool for anyone who wants to attain the god of Thunders physique! Just an idea.

Charged me another yearly fee and are not providing access to their app. I downloaded this in December 2019 and bought a year membership. Liked the app just fine, but it kept signing me out. Finally, I think in the late spring, it allowed me to sign in but then said I had to pay to restore my membership. I tried for a couple of weeks without access. In December 2020, I was charged another membership fee for another $90+. I logged back on and it still tells me to restore my membership for a fee. I sent in an email explaining this and requesting a refund. They acknowledged that my account was inactive because the registration process was incomplete. Then they refused to issue a refund. They know they haven’t been providing the service I’ve paid for and plan on keeping my money anyway. They also have made no effort to restore my service, so they have just blatantly stolen my money. Please give your money to a company with better business ethics than this. Any company that tricks you into a yearly subscription fee knows they have a poor product. Centr won’t stand behind their program and makes no effort at customer service.

Great app, quite the shakeup from the routine. Having been in a bit of a rut with my workout lately (lift 3 days and run 3 days), I decided to try out Centr, the new app by Chris Hemsworth and his team. I downloaded it, and set my profile. The guidance was if you train 5-7 days a week, then go to "advanced". So I set my workout for "Chris Hemsworth" level. I downloaded Chris's personal playlist to go along. I saw AC/DC. Eminem and Imagine Dragons, realized Chris and I are basically brothers and figured this should be fun! I started my workout... 40 seconds later, I was questioning every decision I have ever made.... 2 minutes in, the dog came to check on my like "Boss, we good?" 4 minutes in, I'm pretty sure vultures were circling my house. 5 minutes in I realized, "that's just the warm up !?!?!?" Kept going 10 minutes in, I'm yelling at Mr. Hemsworth like "Oh, Mr. "Fancypants"! You are just so "In shape" Yes, I can do chinups...I can't do A MILLION OF THEM!" 20 minutes in, and I'm pretty sure I saw a Joel-shaped hole forming in the universe Finally, I saw those two magic words..."workout complete" While I was collapsed on the floor, I decided to look up Chris's recommended amount of alcoholic intake (for a friend) Hemsworth recommends two drinks...A WEEK!?!?!?! I went back to yelling at Mr. Fancypants Seriously though, this is a great app. Love the workouts, the recipes and the holistic approach to fitness.

Best fitness and health guide ever!. I’ve always struggled to maintain a balanced diet and workout program until I started using Centr. Now for almost 2 months I’ve eaten clean for every meal. There’s seemingly endless meal options for every diet type and a guide to utilize food for fuel with your chosen program. The workouts are hard and at first I doubted myself when I couldn’t fully keep up. After sticking to it for several weeks I’m doing the advanced modifications and loving the challenges. My resting heart rate has gone down significantly and my overall energy levels are through the roof. I’m able to keep up with my kid better and have been generally happier from eating clean and being physically engaged. If you’re looking for a guide to help you amp up your physicality and overall health this is an amazing tool. I can’t speak highly enough about the overall experience and I’m looking forward to sticking with it for as long as possible.

Almost perfect. I have severe training ADD. I will do a program for a month and then switch. I have been lifting for the majority of my adult life (33) but recently decided I wanted to incorporate more cardiovascular workouts into my routine. I think Centr does a phenomenal job with changing up the routines from HIIT to HIRT to just good old fashioned lifting. I have two young kids and I don’t have time to hit the weights for an hour then go do cardio for another 30-45 minutes anymore. So definitely really dig the workouts. All I could say is, take a cue from FitBod and allow the user to select the type of equipment they have at home (Olympic bar, bench, rack, etc) and then it can generate workouts based on your equipment. Also, I noticed if there is a rest timer going and I switch to answer a text or something, it pauses, this should keep going so you don’t rest more than intended. From a nutrition perspective I love to cook and I think the recipes definitely satisfy a foodie for weekday prep. I think you could build something in to where the user could dislike a recipe so it doesn’t pop up again. Really enjoy this app, thanks!

Inches Away From Perfect. I love love love this app! It’s the best fitness app I’ve tried so far. I took advantage of the 6 week trial offer and am keeping to for sure. The workouts are challenging but fit into my schedule perfectly. They are progressing in difficulty at just the right momentum. I love doing something different everyday keeps my body guessing. The recipes and menu planner are clutch. I’m an experienced home cook and I can’t say enough about how delicious and simple these recipes are and having a menu created for me each week is such a help! I cook for four adult and a toddler and this app has made life so much easier. You can also swap recipes for favorites or something different if you choose. Then it also helps you create a grocery list as well. I simple refer to that list as I shop instacart and I’m done with weekly shopping in a cinch. I’m also grateful for the recovery support and the meditations. This app is beautifully designed. Super user friendly. Syncs with Apple Watch and also has a nice desktop version. I will give it 5 stars when the workout playback gets a little smoother. I like a full screen workout. When it switches between warm up and workout is automatically minimizes the window and I have to manually switch back to full screen. And the last self-guided workout froze at the beginning of each exercise. Little glitches that i hope will be fixed soon.

May be great for nutrition but not fitness. For anyone who’s been working out for awhile, “advanced” on this is more for an intermediate or strong beginner level. For the amount you pay, I expected the fitness (especially coming from Hemsworth trainers!!) to be much tougher. There are free, legitimately advanced, workouts you can find on YT that will work your body much harder than these programs. Additionally, I missed canceling the trial by one day, customer service would not even consider refunding a pending charge. I’m not the best at canceling in time and have done it with several other subscription services and all have been forgiving and allowed me a full refund. The one good thing I will say about this app is it’s the only one I’ve seen out there that not only offers nutrition and fitness information but also puts a strong emphasis on mental health. It is a very well rounded program, just needs some improvement, as it advertises to be “tailored” to each persons needs. There are definitely some things I’m not seeing.

Awesome side-program too!. Writing a 5 star review for a second time, because now I have gotten into the little 6-week fitness side challenge (this one is called “Unleashed,” it seems like they cycle through a new one every so often?). I like the format of this even more than the regularly built in workouts. The pacing makes the entire workout fly by, there’s nice background music and prompts, and always a great feeling of accomplishment. So easy to knock out these workouts in my own living room or wherever I am, and feel great afterwards. The coaches are so positive and motivating, and it’s almost as good as having them with me in person. I have lagged a bit with the food side of this app, mainly because I was ending up with huge portions and way too many leftovers. I might get back into it if I can figure out how to scale these recipes down a bit. But regardless, the workouts (and meditations) alone make this whole app worthwhile for me right now!

Potential but.... The concept of incorporating a workout routine, daily diet, and other self-help things like meditation, etc into a daily and weekly planner is great, but for me so many things were missed. First of all the workouts were challenging but simple and mundane. Also much of the core work involves a lot of intense exercises that require a lot of “knee” work like gorillas and what resembles floor work breakdancing! These moves are really not made for people like myself that are over 40 and have had knee surgeries and issues. The meditations and self help things during the day would be more helpful if a suggested schedule or even an alarm to “take a break” and do a 5 to 10 minute meditation would be more useful. Most days I would skip this because I work out in the afternoon and not see them during the day. As for the diet, well, it’s just ridiculous. There was one breakfast recipe that required an hour of preparation!? Not even on a weekend day would that makes sense. Many days have things like leftovers from previous days recipes and most required 10+ ingredients and most prep times 30 to 45 minutes and frankly we’re not really even that healthy. On top of that there were some tech quirks like not being able to listen to your music while their video was running. So I hope they improve it but for me it was not a great match.

Love this app overall. I found this app to be really wonderful overall. The coaches workouts are like having a personal trainer in your living room. The self-guided workouts took some getting used to, but I enjoy those as well. The variety is fantastic, you won’t get bored! This app also got me to stick with meditation. Honestly, as someone who loves to cook, the recipes are my favorite part. I’ve tried a bunch of new things, and so far every recipe has been delicious. I’ve tweaked a few for availability/affordability of ingredients (do I really need to buy Lebanese cucumbers for $3 when a $0.79 regular cucumber will do?). The other thing I wish you could do on this app is favorite recipes, so when you went to swap out a recipe, you could quickly browse through your favorites. This really is a full lifestyle app, and does take a big commitment and requires a bit of scheduling if you want to make every aspect work, but imo, this app has really helped me improve my fitness game, and I am so glad I found it.

Workout novice. Let me start this by saying that I first purchased this app back about midway through COVID. I was super excited and wanted to workout in some way despite gyms being closed. Unfortunately and understandably, the pandemic and other factors kept me from using this app to its full extent. I was unmotivated and genuinely in a difficult spot with the pandemic. Fast forward a year later, I KNEW that my body needed to get active and that I could achieve my goals and more with this app if I was in a good space mentally. So, when I was, this time around I was going to use this app to its fullest extent. You can customize this app in every way possible. From the type of food (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc) to the types of workouts. Styles such as boxing, MMA, yoga, Pilates, HIT, and MORE. Since recommitting to my health journey, I have genuinely fallen in love with eating delicious food and working the heck out. This app also provides articles that are credibly sourced. There are also a ton of other golden nuggets in this app. I absolutely this app, thank you Chris Hemsworth and his team for the heart and soul put into this. Also, I’m a huge marvel fan so when I saw that I could basically get in shape like Thor - I couldn’t refuse. I mean who wouldn’t want to get jacked like that legend!? GET THE APP :)

Incredible, wholesome health. I’ve never seen such innovation in balancing a healthy lifestyle. This app raises the stakes for companies and developers alike. This is not a tailored approach to your specific needs. It is a tailored lifestyle guide to ANYBODY to live healthy and wholesome. The workouts are simple, guided, intense, yet very approachable to anybody interested. There is no obligation to do any of them, but many are tailored to avoid the gym if that is what you are after. The meals force you to shop! I have NEVER felt so comfortable in the grocery store. The first day, it was a nuisance building up my pantry. After that, I found the wholesome ingredients more beneficial and WAY cheaper than eating out since I was using them on a regular basis. The app allows you to build a check-off shopping list (based upon portions) with a simple click of a button! What’s novel.... you just add the meals you want to eat. Not all of the one’s that are suggested! I haven’t come across a single meal that I have been disappointed with (considering the wholesome ingredient approach). Everything has been beyond tasty, wholesome, and healthy. I still have yet to take more advantage of the lifestyle tools, but I’m telling you C.H. and his team did a phenomenal job.

Waste of money, no ethical principles, scam. To start, the product is simple and inadequate for the price that they charge. You just don’t get nearly enough to be paying $30/month. Additionally and most importantly, the business model is a clear scam. I started a free trial to test the product and before my trial was up, I was charged $119 for a 1-year subscription. Upon asking customer service to cancel my subscription and refund me, they told me no. I’m out $119 and have this garbage workout app on my phone for a year, an app I will never use because there is much better stuff out there. Please don’t download this app, the free trial will trap you and you will have to pay full price for something you will not want. For someone who has been working out for 10+ years, I thought this app would provide fresh workout content, however it’s just another at-home workout app with basic exercises and basic material. Extremely disappointment that Chris Hemsworth ties his name to such a terrible business model and even worse people. The people behind the app very clearly have no ethical boundaries and are just preying on people to sign up for free trials so they can charge their credit cards full price. tldr; 0/10 product, even worse customer support, and a giant waste of $119. I don’t recommend this app to anyone and recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Trial members be aware.... Like many of us, I saw many people pushing this App and all the wonderful things they are doing for us during COVID by giving us a free trial. So I signed up to see what the app was about. Of course you have to enter in all of your personal information to get anywhere. I did that and scrolled through a few pages. Well, eventually I forgot about the app all together. Next thing I know, 6 weeks is up and I am being charged $119 for the year. I had previously been on my Apple subscription pages checking on other products and this wasn’t there. So I completely forgot about it. I wrote asking for a refund. I never used a single thing in the app, ever. Of course that was denied. Now I have an app for a year I never used. Honestly, it’s disappointing that it feels like you are being tricked into keeping this service. Other apps that have trials, they send you emails telling you the trial is up, or will be up — and that was after 7 days! I can remember a 7 day trial, but 6 weeks?! I signed up, forgot about it and you don’t send me a reminder letting me know I am about to get charged?! That’s the worst customer service in my mind. Do yourself a favor, don’t download this app. Especially if you don’t plan on using it. No refunds available. They really should be ashamed of themselves.

Worth Every Penny. This app has been a game changer for me personally. So far I have lost 25lbs in 10 months and my fitness level is the best it’s ever been. I had struggled for a long time with my weight and overall health as my numbers at the doctor only continued to get worse. Doing this program has helped me improve in every measurable way and it really has allowed me to take back control of my health. The workouts are challenging and the meals are well thought out. There are about two things I would change. One is a bug where the videos on the self guided workouts will freeze occasionally. The second thing is I would love to see a workout or lifting journal to keep track of my progress without going to another app. Overall this is a great program and is packed with a ton of value even just beyond the workouts and the meals.

Stand behind your product. So here's my biggest complaint, along with quite a few others if you read reviews: No refunds. So on the ads and website many times it references "Cancel at any time" making one think you can, in fact, cancel and get a refund for the service you no longer wish to receive. But that's not the case. In fine print it says that you can cancel, but still have the opportunity to use the app because they aren't going to refund. The recipes are great, the meditations are nice, the workouts are tough, but do-able. But I have 3 kiddos and by week 2 they were done trying different foods and just wanted some normalcy. Now, this is ok and something I took I to consideration. But going into week 3, I'm now spending majority of my day cooking and cleaning. I don't always have 30 mins and access to a oven/stove for lunch. This just started to become something I can't maintain. Unfortunately, this company doesn't understand that not every diet/health program will fit 100% of people trying it. I now have a yearly subscription that I won't use. And they are NOT budging. Maybe I've just grown accustomed to great customer service, but this feels wrong to me.

Still Under Development? Really Irritating.. My experience was pretty bad honestly. Just error after error after error. All was good up until I tried exploring the app. I would tip on the recipes and snacks and all that would show up was a frayed out book and “nothing found, please broaden your search”. I hadn’t even put anything into a search. I didn’t even realize we COULD search. So that irritated me a bit, but I figured maybe it’s just because of the plan I chose. So I explored some more, checked out the shopping list option. I thought maybe it’d give me a list from those recipes to choose from, I couldn’t even get past the first page because it was not letting me tap on a date. After several tries, I gave up, went to go check out the work out section. I thought “this is primarily an exercise app, this page has GOT to work.” Nope. Same “no results, broaden your search” message came up, but this time instead of letting me leave the page it just logged me out completely. It won’t let me log me back in either. I’m only 30 minutes into this subscription and already ready to cancel it. What’s the point in a free trial if nothing works during that trial, y’know?

Love it, but can be more user friendly. The app is amazing not only in the amount of information that you’re given but also in the way it’s presented. However, this is only the case on the phone. On the iPad it only works vertically and you have zoom in on everything because the app is specifically set for the phone. It’d be really nice if it could be more iPad friendly as a larger screen is much more practical when following the recipes on the app. Also as a side addition, it’d be really nice if there was an option to favourite workouts, blog posts, recipes etc and a place where you can access the things you favourited as an easy access back to them. Other than these two things I’ve really thought the app went above and beyond with what it had to offer as it doesn’t just serve as a workout app but something to help your entire body through proper eating, exercising and even meditation, all the while providing a lot of information on common topics that surround a healthy lifestyle.

The greatest fitness app ever!. Not sure if already written a review, but I’ve been using this app since it first came out and it is worth ever penny. It has everything I need and helped me build a healthy routine of waking up and working out. I love that the creators are constantly updating it for maximum efficiency and also just keeping the planner feeling fresh. But perhaps my favourite aspect is the community on Facebook. I love posting to my fellow Legends about my accomplishments, and they always give me advice when I fall off the wagon, it is such a lovely community. I recommend this app to literally every person I meet that asks me about workout regimes. This is like a one-stop shop. It’s the greatest fitness app ever!

DON’T sign up, you’ll get robbed!!!. Like many people on here, my wife just got charged for a whole year at $180, of course they never notified her this was going to happen, she only noticed this charge when her card bounced at the supermarket getting our weekly shop and had to go through a lovely experience of asking the very understanding store manager to hold onto the food while she borrowed some money from my mother in law. Contacted immediately (within days of the charge) explaining how important the money is to us and she doesn’t use the app. Was promptly told tough, I guess Chris needs the cash to pay for his house reno. Truly disgraceful in this day and age that companies spouting well-being will happily cause people this much anguish due to contract technicalities.

Best App for Fitness I’ve Ever Used. I am incredibly busy and have found it hard to work out for the last two years. I can not say enough how much I love the Centr App. It’s easy to navigate, has so many options of fitness to choose from, the work outs do not take up hours of your day and are still so effective. The meals are easy and have all the nutrients you need. Plans are catered to you and you can switch it up when ever you want. I have recommended this app to so many people. My favourite option is that I have so many options of fitness and meals to choose from. It’s inexpensive and works so well in my busy schedule. I work full time, study at uni and have three kids at home and my partner is FIFO. Perfect x

Excited about this app!. I have tried at least 5 other apps in my health/fitness journey and I am excited about Centr as it has so many different options as far as training goes, for me variety is key! The workouts all come with an explanation of techniques which are there to refer to at any time. I am also looking forward to being able to get a yoga and Pilates class in as well. The mindfulness and meditation has been of a very high standard and will save me subscribing to other apps. Well done Centr, can’t wait to get on with more workouts and exploring other ways of training! Also the meals are delicious and very easy to prepare! HIghly recommend this app and the positive community it has produced on Facebook.

Great app with some issues. The old issues with the Apple Watch and Airplay where my workout randomly ended have now resolved. Although it’d be nice to have an “Always On” mode for the timer and calories without having to raise my wrist! Also, no matter what I change my goal to from “lose weight” to “get fit and toned”, my meal quantities are the exact same. Not sure if this is a glitch or not. I can’t even change my height or weight anymore so being given such high quantities of meat (450g chicken) per 2 serves is incorrect based on my current build. Can the developers please check this issue out?

App doesn’t work and no reply. Have been a member of Centr for over 2 years and was enjoying the workouts and meal plans etc until recently. The app now does not load, with a message saying “Sorry, we dropped a dumbbell” and I have no access for my membership that is paid until May 2024. Support does not reply via Instagram, Facebook or email and I see many members experiencing the same issues. Website also does not load workouts or any content after logging in. Very poor service and no support. Very disappointing as the content was very good.

Awesome work. Guys - amazing content in the new app. Awesome ideas to combine the content / stream is a really nice idea. Recipes look amazing. Awesome launch. Some ideas from a bit of early friction on signup: Let users sign up via an alertnative login as well as setting up via email / pass allow via google / facebook Password validation requirements - it took me 4 attempts to get it right - I don’t read instructions. Lower the threshold to make it easier. Mention the 7 day trial (I think I saw this when I confirmed my payment?) doesn’t appear on the selection page. Maybe give people a change to play a bit before they sign up - but this is purely up to you No push notifications requested - probably quite key for reengagement - new blogs / recipes etc. Haven’t used the workouts yet apart from a quick play - given this is the core of the experience maybe a bit more of a walkthrough video on how everything works. I skip tutorials almost all the time but a minute long vid explainer would be awesome: Otherwise congrats guys - awesome stuff.

My new best friend!. My husband got me signed up to the Centr app. I love how simple it is to use this app as I’m a true beginner in every sense. I’m loving the way each & every single exercise is demonstrated and an easier/ harder option is given to cater to an individual’s personal fitness level. Love the motivational talk through and a preview of what exercises are coming up in each session. I look forward to my Centr workout session like no other workout plan i have ever tried. I feel so good after my 32 min session. The best part is that i can fit it in to work within my schedule in the privacy of my home. It has been an absolute blessing especially since we’re in an indefinite Covid lockdown in NSW at the moment and i know that i am staying fit & healthy in a safe environment.

Mostly good. I’ve been using the app for over a year. It’s much better now that the gym specific (strength/hypertrophy) programs have been added. It has one significant flaw. Workouts can’t be downloaded temporarily or even buffered. When doing a coached workout, you need good internet all the time. I’ve been caught in overseas hotels with bad internet and the app just won’t work as there just isn’t enough bandwidth. If you travel a bit, you might not want this app. If it was designed a bit better, it could download or buffer a workout before heading to the hotel gym with little or no wifi. Better still, download a week’s worth of sessions at home before flying overseas.

Seriously so good!. Has so much, excellent fitness programs. Individual workouts, yoga, Pilates, a seemingly endless amounts of recipes, great and moving meditation which surpasses many other meditation apps I’ve tried. Very customisable and as a beginner in gym exercises, having tried and given up many times feeling overwhelmed and not good enough, has really given me some confidence and by far the longest I’ve ever committed to anything like this. The results to my fitness and mental health have been astounding! Cannot recommend more. 🔥 Coming from a family with many many allergies the app also has many many options, as someone who is allergic to nuts, eggs, gluten, dairy and seafood it still has a heap of options which is extremely extremely rare 🥰 The only negative I would say is it is a little confusing when you first download the app as there is a lot of stuff. A more in depth tutorial for the app would be excellent! Anyways if you are a beginner struggling to get into exercise or you are a pro this is the app for you 😀😀😀

Subscription cancellation error - “tough luck”. Like many of these reviews receiving one star, I had had unsubscribed but was charged the subscription fee ($95!) regardless. I emailed the online help desk straight away to explain the situation but like many others they basically said tough luck, there was apparently nothing they could do as their terms and conditions cover them for any subscription errors - something they repeatedly copied and pasted into our email correspondence. They also refused to provide further contact details so I could speak with someone on the phone. Extremely disappointing especially in the current climate with so many people unemployed and struggling financially. No compassion at all. The actual app I hardly used as when I first tried it, it involved all of this equipment that I didn’t have at home (boxing bag for instance), even though it’s meant to be a home workout app.

Deceptive Advertising & Poor Customer Service. After doing the 7-day free trial I saw significant value in paying what was advertised as $12 per month to use the app, especially because they advertise that there are no lock-in contracts and you can cancel anytime. After the 7-day trial ended, I checked my bank account to confirm the monthly fee was debited. To my surprise they charged me for THE ENTIRE ANNUAL FEE UPFRONT. I thought this surely had to be a mistake. Especially because there was no mention of the requirement to pay the full annual fee upfront. So, I contacted Customer Service and they were infuriating. I explained I couldn’t afford to pay upfront and that I needed those funds to pay life expenses, such as my rental payment. I pleaded to pay on a monthly or even quarterly basis. All they did was shove the terms & conditions in my face saying their policy says “no refunds”. After a handful of emails back and forth trying to get some sort of compassion and understanding, they stopped replying to my emails altogether and cancelled my membership. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Deceitful advertising and extremely poor customer service. I highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Love it!. I have tried the program with 6 weeks free trial and I love it. The workouts are for each level group not just for the beginners. I love the food recipes and cooked few already. The only thing I didn’t like it pre recorded trainer’s comments. I’d rather them talk while they are showing us exercises vs prerecorded words. I’ve heard ‘sweaty Betty’ and other comments just like that .. a bit frustrating and weird( Luke’s and Ashley’s unleashed). They also add new workouts on weekly basis. Tiff and Michael are my favourite. My 9 yo loves Ashley 🥰 . Definitely worth the money 💰

Just love it. My wife and I have been on the Centr app since COVID lockdowns hiit ha ha last year. We have been through 3 full programs and completed a lot of the everyday workouts as well. I am half way 1/3 of the way through the strength workout with big Bobby and stoped because of the gyms shutting, but are loving it. Your detailed programmes are so easy to follow and so helpful with making sure the technique is correct, it’s really fantastic. The variety of workouts and dietary info is what has kept us so keen to keep using the app. So a giant thumbs up from us, and a big thanks.

Great, but could be better!. Really love the app, the workouts are tough, and the variety is great, trainers are great. Also love the ability to search for workouts by body part and length. But would love more full video workouts, they feel more personal and I tend to enjoy these workouts more, I also enjoy the general chat from/between trainers. Those types of workouts keep me coming back more often. Would also love a place to keep saved workouts, bit of a pain scrolling through the pages trying to find what i need. Also would like ability to turn music off :)

Lifestyle changer. I’m a founding member of Centr and over the last 2 years my mental and physical well being is positively better than ever! It’s loaded with tasty meal plans, meditations and educational easy reading blogs. Most importantly for me, I love how diverse and fun my workouts are. I’m in my late 30’s and before Centr, I was doing the same workouts I’ve been doing since my early 20’s. My body thrives on doing something different almost everyday. Do yourself a favor, download this extremely affordable app, embrace a new lifestyle and welcome to a better life.

I’m hooked!. I’ve come into this from a high level training background and I’m hooked. It’s worth it for the meal plans alone let alone the accessible yoga/palates/foundation sessions, the easy to get you’re head around meditation sessions AND all the other training. I’m nursing an injured shoulder and I’ve been able to tailor sessions to suit me. For me, it’s pitched at a good level technically and I’m feeling good as a result. Did I mention the food is incredible?? It exceeded my expectations by a mile - so fresh, interesting flavours and really easy. If you don’t like to cook most recipes really are pretty simple to follow and absolutely worth the time and effort. You won’t want to eat out again! Super impressed by it all!

Best Workout App. Honestly I’ve been giving myself a million and one excuses to not workout (blaming it on not having time 99% of my days). However, ever since I got this app I’ve managed to workout every single day on top of my gym classes that I’ve signed up for. It’s really helping me to focus on a healthier lifestyle than to just go on diet & workout sprees just to put on the weight again later on. 20-30 minutes of workout everyday sure as hell gave me more results than 3-4 days of intense 1-1.5 hour workouts. On top of that, you don’t have to pay extra for healthy yummy recipes and I love how there are multiple fitness level options and how the trainers workout with you and motivate you as well. 💛

Downloading Centr was my best fitness decision ever. I saw Chris Hemsworth advertising Centr before it was launched and thought it looked great, so when it was released I jumped on board and downloaded it the day it came available, and honestly it was the best decision I ever made when it came to my fitness. I’m a shift worker and trying to think about and organise what to do at gym and what to eat was one of my biggest stress factors when it came to staying active and I would often get lazy. Centr provides an organised workout schedule with a daily workout and also provides a full 3-meal plan every day which also gives you a treat day breakfast on Sunday’s and makes it a lot easier to stick to and enjoy the app. Having my meals and workouts planned and organised for me means between shifts I don’t have to spend time thinking about what to do at gym, and when I get to the supermarket can just look at what’s in my meal plan and buy what is needed rather than having to plan meals and what’s required. My fitness is now very much stress free which means I can put more effort in to my workouts and I never get sick of what I’m eating because it’s always changing and is always delicious. The meals provided by the chefs are some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and I cooked it myself!! (besides mums cooking, that would always trump any meal!). This app is amazing and could probably be considered a cheap life insurance option for sure!

A recipe app with (I’m told) fitness and exercise. This is one very well thought out comprehensive apps for well being. The planning and delivery of all of the features gives this app the leading edge in a super competitive landscape. If living better is on your list, get the app. The recipes alone will improve your day to day living and good enough reason to purchase the app. Would be good if I could rate each recipe so I remember which ones I love as well as see what others love,,like, and like a little less, though I appreciate that’s not how I should use the app

Like the app but worst customer service.. I find the instructors and information really good, but find the customer service infuriating (to the point that this is the first time I’ve left a review). It took them 17 days to respond to me when I couldn’t log on, apparently my account was hacked, and they said it took that long to fix but they don’t give you a holding line, or a check in email, just radio silence. They then cancelled my account, without asking, and gave my a voucher for a month. If I sign back up I have to pay a different rate to the rate that was just about to be charged for renewal than as I’m now a new customer rather then getting a discounted rate which I was entitled to because of when I signed up. So the voucher has made it more expensive. Emailed them a few weeks ago, and again radio silence. Whilst I think the app is great I won’t be using it again as I think their customer service is terrible. With apps I wouldn’t expect to have to worry about customer service, but I’ve also never had to worry about an app being hacked before, and I think you shouldn’t be such a hassle for basic things help logging in.

You! Have to make your self. The app gives great guide lines with work out and recipes and relaxation methods. Most of the bad reviews are people complaining about the app not doing everything for them. That’s not how this works. This app is a tool to get to your destination. Don’t expect the app to know how you feel you have to work with the app, it’s a two way street. If you really expected the app to do everything for you I don’t think you would have made it. It’s for people trying to make them selves better, the app can’t do everything, it simply opens the door a little wider to where you want to go, but you have to do the rest of the pulling. Thought that was pretty clear.

Once you make the decision... it works. I haven’t done any dedicated training in probably 8 yrs or more. I’m 42 now. You just have to start. Let your mind work through that process, it took me at least 12 months of thinking about it, visiting gyms, going for the odd 5km run after work before I decided today is the day I will commit. Once you flick that switch this app guides you on your daily commitment. Short achievable work outs daily has been great, some good sleep meditations and the days I just want to stretch out the tight spots the app has it and really easy to use. I’m feeling results with under 3 weeks and I haven’t even got into the nutrition guides apart from a few smoothies. Five star app for sure. Get into it!!

Got bored after 4 months. I recommend using Gymshark train instead (it’s free). I used the Centr app regularly for four months - loved the Centr Power workouts, loved the meal plans … but after I while it was just nothing new. No new bodybuilding focused plans (and the “daily workout” seems to be poorly planned throughout the week - doing the same muscle group 2 days in a row), the meals started to get repetitive and we’re always heaps of ingredients and expensive. I repeated the Centr power twice and then ran out of good workouts to do. I kept the app for another 6 months for recipes, but it’s really not worth the subscription fee. I can get better workouts on the Gymshark app (FREE) and I can download recipes for free from Google.

Highly Recommend. This app is amazing. I would pay for it just for the recipes alone, so everything else is just an added bonus! The recipes are so healthy and easy to modify to gluten-free/dairy-free. I feel like there’s a work out for everyone, personally I love pilates. My only big annoyance with the app and the reason I won’t give it 5 stars is that when ever I go in and out of the app is doesn’t stay on the same page. And also if I am browsing recipes and click on one, when I go back to the list it goes all the way to the top again so I have to scroll for ages to get to where I was which is annoying and I’m sure the app designers could work on this. If these issues within the app were fixed, I would easily give it 5 days.

Most comprehensive app out there. Love this app because it literally has everything. Everything you can think of is answered with heaps of variety and choices. I’m getting back into it after 10yrs and wanted to do boxing because of the skipping and all over workout. Whatever situation you are in there’s workouts for no equipment, if you have weights or have access to a gym. I can’t think of anything they have not covered. You can choose your own workout, food, meditations or be personally coached by experts in their field. My guy is Michael with the eyepatch and winged boots. Check him out he’s awesome. A boxing icon! It’s very professional with a 7 day free trial to look over everything. Extremely cheap payment plans and for $119 annually it’s a fantastic investment. I also noted on the site an opting out or subscription cancellation in pure sight - no going around in circles or having to access Apple. That’s how good this sight is.

Positively Motivating. Love the workouts with Lexi and Luke - we begin each morning with one of their sessions. Their commentary to ensure correct posture and movements are especially valued as we can easily follow the guiding instructions. We also love the banter to keep the session upbeat and fun. Thanks for the energy both bring to the sessions and the positive encouragement that transfers into our lounge room. The structure of Centr format is easy to play on any device and the session’s sectioned tabs of warmup, workout and cool-down make an interrupted session easy to return to. So many life choices in Centr for all levels and stages easy follow - it’s a life coach for a healthy body and mind.

Nice design but needs better music integration and clearer instructions to avoid videos. It’s a great look and feel app. A few things really need fixing ASAP as they really detract from the whole experience: 1. Allow music to play from other apps while playing instruction videos during workout. It either assumes you’ll watch before and remember (yeah right) or you don’t listen to music (most training research shows music helps spur you on!!) 2. Allow scaling of meals so that portions come out with right calories. Link with 3 below would be a good start 3. Make the profile info more detailed and have other criteria like body shape , body fat %, current fitness level (beep test result or exercise bike fitness test) to better tailor plans. Especially meals. 4. Sync with health and other apps to track weight etc. haven’t found it yet. Should be easy to spot if you’ve got it.

Be careful. Downloaded the trial and then cancelled however was never foi en a cancellation email - then the next year I was suddenly deducted a years service amount. When I contacted customer service they said it was my own fault for not cancelling subscription even though I had and they couldn’t prove I hadn’t, moreover I had never logged in once or used any service. On top of that they also advised I will be charged again next year as it was already one day into new year cycle and they would not cancel my subscription unless I did it before that year began even though I expressed I wouldn’t use the app nor that this is highly unjustified business and countered with the fact they also never sent me an email to advise my subscription would be renewed either. Dodgy. I’m sure it works fine for the people who wish to engage with the app but for those who were curious but decided against I have been stuck with a $200 unrefundable fee for something I never used. Gross

Unexpectedly exceptional - effective and unique!. I was sceptical about using this app - many have failed to deliver (like, a LOT) but Centr has managed to be engaging, in a deliberate, exceptionally thoughtful way. Out with the noise, constrained music selection, confusing data and superfluous info! Step into a calm and considerate realm where trainers repeating movements from different angles and where all set so you can perform at your own pace. If you don’t have the specific equipment- all good - alternative movements are there on screen. The workouts are challenging (if you want) but you can dial back if you’re not confident (or a little sore from the previous session). Everything seems just “right” and well thought through. Even what the trainers are wearing allows you to see how they performing the movement (so many apps feature someone looking “cool” in all black baggy gear, with a black backdrop in a poorly lit room screaming over terrible music all surrounded by crazy readouts). Well done. I’m a fan!

What a fantastic App!!. I’m so driven by this fitness app, they really engage with you through a workout program, encouraging you to keep going and don’t give up, they’re so proud of you! Everything you need to hear from a personal trainer at the fraction of the cost! The exercises - although you don’t use weights - they really test your fitness level and use your own body weight as the weights! I recommend this app to anyone who’s looking to get fit again and back into the gym, or who has a home gym! Great work on such a fantastic fitness app.

Not as expected. I honestly thought this app was going to be great and it’s just another random app. My partner and I started using this during Sydney’s lockdown which meant we could not go to the gym. At the beginning it was great. Very dynamic, but after the weeks passed by it became boring. The warm ups are exactly the same each week. They change probably once during a whole program and the options available for people who don’t have access to gym equipment are limited. Most of them require at least basic equipment which not everyone has at home. The programs with weights are all self-guided, which don’t work that good unless you have certain knowledge. I then cancelled the subscription after I was charged for another period to my surprise that I was then charged again for another period 3 months after. I immediately emailed the customer service to request a refund as I continued as “Active” although U had cancelled. They then responded saying they don’t do refunds for mistakes orate cancellations. So I am stuck with another period of an app I didn’t like. Very disappointed to be honest. I am only giving it 3 stars because I somehow enjoyed it at the beginning. Otherwise I would have given it a 2.

Great but ad more options. Awesome app but it be cool if there was more options for weights. Sometimes there isn’t an option of the weight I’m lifting. Or there’s a difference in the bar. So it’s be cool if u could ad notes. Or splits etc if I went heavy but couldn’t complete the full set so dropped the weight to do it. It’d be awesome if u could customise and alter some of the workouts. I’m following the intermediate/advance but I keep jumping between because I enjoy something more then the other. Also would be great if there was an option to let the timer keep running when u have to exit the app. Otherwise really enjoying it.

Deceptive billing practices. Absolutely do not recommend this app. They have deceptive billing practices. I preordered this app when it was first released. The app has no functionality to cancel the subscription, or to determine if/when another would be taken. The subscription also doesn’t show up in your Apple subscriptions so you can’t cancel it or monitor the subscription from there also. I contacted them days after I was unknowingly billed almost $100. They avoided responding for over a week and when they finally did, they refused to refund me despite not giving me an appropriate way to monitor or cancel the subscription. Awful experience. In addition to this the app functionality in general is poor. You can’t sort the recipes or add any to a favourites list so that they’re easy to find. Would never purchase a thing from this company again. I would give this app and this company zero stars.

Best value for money. I have always trained in my own home as a single mother who doesn’t like the vibe in gyms. I have used a variety of well known PT apps for home workouts and challenges. This app is by far the best. It’s not just one trainer with a couple of programs and a couple of meals. The way that you can choose from a huge range of different trainers with different styles, endless recipe ideas that are actually good, as well as yoga, meditation and sleep tools… I’m shocked at the value for money, especially from someone who could be like everyone else and jack the prices up. Love your work Chris

Fantastic, a little room for improvement. This app is fantastic. It’s a one stop shop for health and well-being. The recipes are delicious, the workouts are great and easy to follow along with, it has meditation, yoga, Pilates, a blog...and it plans everything for you so you just need to open it and follow along. I do have a problem with the workouts not loading sometimes and it would be great if they had modifications in their workouts for women who’ve had babies so their core isn’t what it used to be. Or even a selection criteria for something like diastasis recti so it filters out moves that aren’t good for someone with that condition. The only other downer is that the app doesn’t work well on your watch, I can’t go back and view my data, I think the data is often wrong too and it closes the second the workout finishes so you can’t see your calories burned etc.

What ever happened to good old fashioned customer service?. I'm now seeing many other people with the same problem with me. I actually signed up for a monthly subscription but the system failed and charged me yearly. It's now renewed the yearly subscription with no warning. I contacted customer service and received a robotic canned response stating that I'm wrong and included screenshots with their policies. Extremely disappointed with this money hungry brand - I thought it was about the passion for fitness ?? I was thinking of resubscribing at a later date but that will certainly not happen now. Will be passing this feedback on to all people considering using this app. If there is a developers response to this review, I recommend NOT telling me to contact customer service as they do not help.

Brilliant - but one annoying flaw. Brilliant app that provides a truly holistic approach to fitness, from food to mediation to training. The app is always mixing it up to keep you motivated and I truly believe it’s not just made me look better, but has improved my stamina, balance and core. BUT, this app has one very annoying feature, which is that the small movie clips that show you the exercises during your sets turn off any music you might be listening to in your music app. And what’s super annoying about it is that the clips are silent. So, you’re listing to pumping music during a set, you go to watch one of the instructional clips to understand the movement, and silence. You then have to go out of the app, into your music app, turn back the music, and then go back to the Centr app. This is a major vibe killer. So, a great app - but if listening to motivational music is a key part of your workout, you’ll find this aspect of the app super irritating. I’ve looked for settings to turn it off, but there aren’t any. Otherwise, I’d give it five stars.

Keeping an open mind. I’m sure a lot of the complaints from unhappy consumers are valid and there are a few issues with the app that needs to be fixed. But for my 12 month subscription I have access to so many different specialised personal trainers, different and challenging programs and meal plan suggestions, not strict requirements, suggestions. I do not know any gym that offers all this for only $96 a year (my payment for 12 months). I love this program and I love the support that you get in the Centr Community chats, the humour and the stories from people who are benefiting greatly from the program. There is a 7 day free trail period, use it with an open mind if it’s not for you then hey it’s not for you, but you might find that it’s something that you actually enjoy

The best investment you can make for your health. The Centr app is the best thing I’ve ever done for my health. I’ve been using it for two years now and never been so consistent with my exercise and nutrition. It sets you up for success, taking out the guess work and doing everything for you. It not only gives you fitness and nutrition but also focuses on your inner health with daily meditations as well as regular information articles about a huge range of health issues. It offers a wide variety of workouts for all types of personality. Do yourself a favour. Invest in your health with this app that takes a complete holistic approach to wellbeing.

Amazing. Fabulous program at an amazing price. And you get to try it all out in a 7 day trial before you commit. I’ve seen other programs that give you limited access during the trial period, but this is all in. Amazing mix of trainers, great food. I love being able to modify how many people each meal is 4 so I do t have to dim the maths in my head, plus it updates the shopping list too! Would be great if the shopping list had an option to ‘hide ticked items’, so that you don’t have to scroll through everything to find those last 2 things that are at the opposite ends of the list, but still miles ahead of any other program I’ve used. Loving it!

Great app. Really enjoy using the app. The workouts are great and like whilst there is the same theme and some of the exercises repeat there are also changes each week. The recipes are great, really flavourful and nutritious, plus the shopping list function is really handy. Was unsure about the meditation and mindfulness aspect having never really looked into it but have been pleasantly surprised by it and have enjoyed those parts to the app as well. Only thing I think would improve it is when doing a workout, if you go off the app during a rest period the rest pauses and doesn’t continue so when you go back on the rest hasn’t continued to count down. It would be useful if the rest continued to count down even if not on the app. Only something small in an otherwise great app!

Review. Second time using the app. Great to use. I did give a review many years ago. The only request I would have is that could you please release the upcoming week the Sunday or Monday before. Not the Thursday before. Makes it hard for those of us that plan 2 or more weeks ahead. I can’t plan for next week as it is not released until Thursday this week. For a family that plans 2 weeks ahead on a Sunday, this makes things really challenging. This is why I have dropped my star review. This was also one of the reasons I stopped my subscription and went to a meal delivery service and my own workout plan. Meal delivery services can be planned up to 4 weeks ahead. I’m back on the app as my 17 month old died suddenly and unexpectedly 4 weeks ago and I do not have the capacity to come up with new work outs.

Best app. I have alway been to gym but the results have varied because I don’t really have a lot of money to fork out for some personal trainer or a meal plan ( some of whom cost $70+ an hour). Thus I was unable to achieve any meaningful results. I have tried other apps but they turned out to be incompatible or a fad lifestyle. This app has an amazing UI, best meal plans and the workouts get me so worked up. Although I have been on this app for a low amount of time. The initial impressions are perfect. At the beginning, my grocery bill was over the roof because I had none of the ingredients at home but now that I have most of the ingredients the grocery bill has continued to decline.

Great app. A Current Affair should be sued. Just wanted to jump on after seeing the A Current Affair report on the app being a scam because people got charged a subscription fee after not cancelling during the free trial. It was made very clear during the sign up process that this would happen and it was easy to do through the app. I did it straight away and still had access for the 6 weeks. I now share an account with the wife which is probably a bit stingy but we will be members for life as it is hands down the best value for money gym membership I have ever had and I have been going for decades. The meals are awesome, the stretching sessions bang on and the workouts themselves improve strength, flexibility and endurance all in 30-40 min sessions. The trainers are legends and Chris is a Legend for making it happen. Big thanks!

Great start, can get even better!. Love the app, brings structure and organisation to meals, training and life so simply (and with enough effort, seamlessly). The diversity of training has been new to me and I’ve loved mobility and foundation based sessions to mix up straight up weight sessions. If I could add anything, I’d want an interactive search bar in the meals which helps me identify what meals I can make based on what I’ve got at home (currently the search bar only filters key words) I’d also love to be able to keep a “favourites list” of meals (and even workouts) as I do them because so much changes on a week by week basis, I want to be able to revisit the meals of sessions I particularly liked.

Exactly what I need as a Mum with 2 young kids. I rarely write app reviews (who has the time!?) so the fact that I’m writing this is a testament to how much I like this app! Great workouts for every level, EASY to use meal plans that can be added straight to a shopping list and can be altered to how many servings you’ll need which is fantastic with young kids who will eat some of the meals and won’t eat others. Easy to do the daily exercises at home on the TV whilst kids join in or play near me. Didn’t want to jump on a celebrity bandwagon app, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how good it is!

I have been a regular subscriber for over 4 years. I have used all the features. I think the fitness is the most well developed. I have had great success with my body results and goals. There is always a session (coached or self guided) that suits the room or equipment I find myself in. The food recipes have helped me move into vegetarian, but the shopping list should be more developed. The meditation and sleep visualisation is great, there’s just not enough of them for a long time user. I have never stuck with an app or a subscription for 2+ years (except my music) until I found this app. Wish I was a foundation member!

Loving all of it!. I’m writing this sitting here eating one of the delicious, easy recipes! I have 2 kids, a 4 year old and a 9 week old. This week I have been able to complete these amazing, quick workouts, perfect for someone with little time but looking for maximum benefit! Loving the difference in the workouts, trying something new (yoga is def going to take some practice haha) and I am able to them from the comfort of my home! I love that the dinner recipes are made with many things you already have in your cupboard and you can make extra to have for lunch the next day! Love love love it!

Really enjoying the variety and quality of content. Gives you a program based on your goal but then you can fully customize by switching workouts and meals. The shopping list building is so intuitive! And there’s meditation included too. Worth the price. Beginner workouts make you sweat but you won’t die like with Peloton. Da Rulk is a legend!

The only successful solution I have ever found. I am 58 and have struggled with fitness and body image my whole life. I am in my second year of Centr and down 60 lb! It’s the whole program that makes it so amazing. Never a dull day. Lots of options. Food advice and great meditation. At 125 lbs now I am really living my best life

Amazing. Amazing workouts, community. The overall experience is great. This is exactly what I was looking for and I’m glad I found it

Great app for beginners. I was surprised at how much is put into this app/service. Great workouts and clear instructions. My issue isn’t getting into the gym, it’s knowing what to do when I get there. This service is perfect for me in that regard. My only two suggestions are to make the app keep the Apple Watch screen awake during workouts so you can glance at the timer from an angle. It tends to get stuck showing the timer at whenever the screen dimmed. Second, the demonstration videos are great, but could be amazing if they had tips on getting better form come up as the video happens. This is specific to the self-guided workouts.

Workout sessions are great but…. The app seems unstable from time to time. Syncing with the Apple Watch seems to be an issue as well. A bit disappointing and would appreciate the kinks be taken care of for a flawless workout session.

don’t. Chris fails to tell everyone don’t forget to use some anabolic or whatever. Yes another fake making money on Oh! just eat chicken lol..also from the reviews don’t ever give your credit card…

Subscription. U guys keep taking money from me even after not having my new information!!! And still haven’t returned my last subscription I didn’t sign up for!!!!

⚠️ They Track You. They track you across apps and the web. See the App Privacy section of their App Store page for details. Do you really trust a company that does that? No doubt they’ll reply below with some excuses as to why this is necessary and/or not a concern.

Very poor onboarding. I went through the process to pre-order the app and pay in advance for this?!?! Where’s my custom plan? Where are the gender-based workouts? It’s all so clunky and hard to find. The ads made this app seem cool and revolutionary. The actual product is not that great. Not impressed.

App let’s this down. This could be the best fitness app on the market at the price I paid. The reality is the App just drives me insane. I workout at home and they say you can cast this to your tv. The reality is you can not cast to the tv all the programmes. Right now I can even cast the programmes I could cast. I have tried to resolve this with support but they don’t seem to think it’s an issue. It may be a small thing to most but seeing the app on a big screen, seeing the form the instructor is doing, seeing what’s next, how long left etc rather than having my phone and needing to look at it is not conducive to training. Real shame

App isn't working and hasn't been for weeks. The website isn't letting me load anything either. I have been enjoying this program since November 2022 but suddenly the app isn't working and I can't get any information from the website either. I have paid the fee for the year subscription but with no access to the service I am at a loss as to how to proceed. Can someone from Centr get back to me? I have done all the standards stuff like reboots and reloads, different devices, etc 🤔

Uh...subscription wall immediately. No idea if app is any good, preordered and installed and was treated to immediate subscription paywall. Thor is crazy.

My to go destination daily. This is my pick due to its approach and its connection to customers. I’m not using all of its features but still liking it

Didn’t allow me to cancel trial and refused to refund. This review does not touch on the performance of the app, but rather the business and customer service behind it. I have a hard time with subscription-based apps that require a credit card for a trial and have a no refund policy. But for a 6-week trial? I’ll bite. I was really impressed when I got an email from them reminding me that my trial was coming to a close, the date of renewal and the price. “That’s a great user experience!” I told my wife. On the last day, I proceeded to cancel the trial as I wanted to try some other apps before making a decision. I proceeded to try to cancel a handful of times, each time getting an on-screen error message stating something along the lines of “Oops, we dropped a dumbbell. Try again later.” Being from a support background in tech, I decided to try and troubleshoot before creating a support ticket. The first thing I did was remove my credit card. Success! The subscription box read something to the effect of “Trial cancelled due to no credit card on file.” No need to create a support ticket - the wording seemed confirmation enough that my trial was cancelled. The next day, I notice a charge. I look at the account and see that my subscription is live, set to cancel Feb 2022. I reached out to the support team (twice) and received a response telling me there is nothing that can be done and that I was successful in cancelling my account at the end of the period. But...I never took action on my account after the initial card removal? So either it somehow charges a card that was no longer there (curious?) or it registered the cancellation, charged anyway and then set my account to cancelled after the fact. It’s a dirty business model and one that puts the customer behind profit. Is $120 worth this review? Is it worth the time I’ll take out of my day to ensure that any conversation I hear around workout apps will be interrupted with this experience? I won’t tell anyone here how to proceed. You may love this app. You may hate it. They don’t care - they already have your money. And before you respond with the “It’s in our ToS...contact us...” macro - don’t.

Loving it. Loving the amount of content provided for such a small price. I have always struggled with meal plans and healthy eating. The daily schedule is a blessing. Looking forward to a healthy lifestyle.

Terrible customer service. Canceled the day the free trial ended, was already charged $119 for a year subscription. Customer service says they won’t give refunds for “accidental purchases” or “late cancellation” The app is not worth the money. It’s not user friendly and there is no personalization for the meal plans, a very one size fits all approach. Very unhappy and unimpressed 😞

Great fitnesses and Strength Training app. I have recently purchased a one year membership after using it as a trail for one month i am happy for my decision however this app has some rooms for improvement, My feedback is for the Software design team to please implement bellow feature which is must and useful 1- Please add health synchronization feature so the calories burned after each excretes should be synchronized to Apple Health for tracking. 2 - A dark mode should be supported on app. 3 - Read mode for blogs should be implemented for those who has vision problems, so they can increase the text size, i came to know that the iOS per app text size customization also doesn't work with this app yet. 4 - A body measurements is very essential for this app to track weight, height, waist, arm etc. If my above feedbacks will be considered and the software team is committed to implementing them I will keep giving further feedback and will also refer this app to my friends and colleagues

Loving Centr Again. I recommend you try every aspect of the app to reap all the benefits and make steady progress toward your health and fitness goals. I started by following a strength program and am adding in cardio and core workouts as my fitness improves. If you’re a fan of yoga or Pilates you’ll find it here, too. The incredible variety of stand-alone workouts and workout programs, with personable and knowledgeable trainers, keeps me interested and motivated. The recipes are easy to make, healthy and delicious. (You can follow the menu or save your favorites and do what works for you.) Finally, soothing and inspiring meditations and loads of accurate information make Centr a one-stop health shop and a worthwhile investment. Thank you for fixing the glitches!

Awesome workout app. Centr is great because it has a mix of guided and semi guided workouts. It’s refreshing to do stuff I wouldn’t usually do and also have a program for a gym, most apps focus on floor stuff. I give 4/5 stars because the meal planning part is not customizable enough and not user friendly. They have great recipes but I wish I could design it so that it doesn’t plan breakfast and lunch, because I just like drinking the same smoothie everyday. Also there is no function to print the recipes. I get that they don’t want them distributed but I don’t like cooking on my phone.

thank you chris!. Worth paying. Love it!

Delicious food and manageable workouts. I joined Centr before it was launched and loved it from the start. It is a lot of cooking especially at first when you are not use to the recipes and aren’t a cook but it has taught me alot about cooking and I am getting more efficient. But the food is delicious and healthy and the exercise are almost all under 30 min so they are manageable. It is user friendly and convenient and takes the guesswork out of what to make for supper. Not for the picky eater but awesome for those who love to try new things! I promise these recipes will not disappoint. Some of the ingredients are a bit difficult to get as a live in a remote small town in northern Canada, but most of those I’m able to substitute.

Amazing!. I use Centr all the time. Love it!

Centr is the BEST all around health app. I was a trainer for 11 years. There’s obviously a lot I still do not know but I’ve tried at least 10 training apps. I ran out of time to make myself programs and was looking for something that kept me working hard and enjoying working hard. This is the only app that succeeds in doing that. Other apps would get tiresome after a few months. It’s been about 2 years with this app and I’m still loving it. The workouts are great, interesting and fun, and the added nutrition, mindfulness and functional/stretching sessions keep my joints in great health. If you’re considering this app, stop considering it and try it for yourself.

FRAUD. FRAUD! App charged my card without permission and will not refund

Absolutely love the app. Great exercises catered for all levels. I am starting again after years of inactivity and find this challenging but totally doable. Food recipes are easy and brought a lot of new options to my menu! Meditations are DA BOMB! The app works great. Ps: Add some cycling/spin cycling exercises if you can!

Challenging. Workouts are excellent- challenging and interesting. Trainers are motivating, informative and funny. Would highly recommend.

Gary manning. I love the app but only some of the training works with chromcast. If this cannot be changed I will eventually quit the app

Not worth the money. I had high hopes for this app. I have used many before and decided to change it up after taking a Quick Look through what this app offers. Now that I’m a few weeks in, the material is repetitive and the structure is poor. In some videos they tell you what they are going to do before hand, some they have no instruction. The quality of the work out leaves the instructors looking like they are mortal combat characters waiting to fight. It’s jus not at all as good, or as challenging as it’s advertised and I can’t even find a way to get my money back.

Inspiring, few things that could make it close to perfect. I have to say, I had high expectations for this app. There’s a lot of fitness app out there, some are free and some aren’t. There’s always those videos where they say : legendary star trainer, the man behind Hollywood famous transformation, etc, but it never felt trustworthy in my humble opinion. Then I saw Centr, engineered by Thor himself & people he worked with at one point. My first thought : to be where he is & do what he does, he has to surround himself with only the best in town but also people who inspire him. I saw in this app an opportunity to find the right teachers, role models or even mentors to help in my journey to a healthier lifestyle and a proper physical shape. Let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. App looks wonderful yet simple. Lots of recipes for every meal & snack of the day. No chemical protein/pre workout/post workout kinda thing, it’s all about natural stuff and I love it. When it comes to training there are lots of options and they cover everything, even basic movement training to ensure safe workouts and better everyday life which I think is too often left aside. It’s an incredible app. I really enjoy it and I believe it has a lot of potential. Just a few things I believe could make it even better: - add videos to your recipes, I know so many people who just can’t help but screw a written recipe but on the other hand cook it to perfection when they visualize it. - add basic gesture to the app, rarely do we scroll back up to the little arrow and press it to go back one page. Always looking for those preset buttons reminds me of apps I had on my iPhone 4. Swipe from left to right to go back is a simple example and would make it more user friendly. - add the option to “like” recipes so that we can make our own “recipes book” kinda thing! Those are constructive critics, I really love that app as it is and thank you all for your great work on it. Recommending it to everybody.

One of the best fitness app. They have great trainings, but they also offer excellent meditations. The blog is filled with good advices. They encourage us to look at our bodies as a whole (mental, physical and emotional). Good stuff. 👍🏾

Programs not working. Very glitchy to access programs. Just a mama trying to get in a quick workout and frustrated that my program won’t load.

Not working anymore?. I have been using this regularly since February. I really enjoy the workouts and casting to my Google Chrome cast. Now, I cast and a second in, the app switches to the completed workout screen and won't actually play....extremely frustrating and doesn't make me want to keep using this...

Amazing for Home Workouts. Lots of variety but intense workouts and relaxing yoga. Great for when you only have 25-30min to get a great workout in! Been using for 3 years now

Love this app but hasn’t been working in days. Please fix the issue asap :) Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logging into the website instead of the app and same issue. Been using this for a few months and love the different type of workouts.

Best bang bar none. As a regular gym rat, this app was an absolute gift during the pandemic. Now with this app and my home gym I have all I need. The constant change ups and accessory tips with food, sleep etc give me a very well rounded approach. I try to get everyone I know to try this out!!

Not working for days. Like a recent comment, I really loved this app. Easy to use, great content. But it’s been down for a few days not and it’s super frustrating. I’ve become reliant on the app and struggle with the gym without it. Less motivated and being held less accountable. It sounds silly to complain about but if your personal trainer just stopped showing up you’d be frustrated as well.

Invest in yourself.. Pay no mind regarding the fee. I wanted something I’d take seriously. This is an investment for the recipes alone and the “Add to shopping list” saves me well over $20/DAY! in time saved so I can focus on what’s important. How much would you pay for a few hours saved per week? Even if this app gets me throwing in a quick weightless workout at home and preparing food instead of eating out once a day the app will pay for itself ten fold. Well done and nice rollout. I know it’s hard releasing an app without the kinks ironed out due to excitement and impatience. This is an excellent v.1. Looking forward to what’s over the horizon. Best of luck — and thank you.

Terrible customer service and app so and so. The app seems to be great at the beginning, but after a while the user soon realizes that is hard to integrate it in the everyday life and not that engaging. In addition to this, the customer service is not good, it is too profit oriented.

Crooked company with fake reviews. I joined for trial and after one day I lost interest. A week before expiry I cancelled it on their website. Keep in mind that they make you work for it. Their cancellation is done outside of the app. When I told their customer service that I cancelled through their site but somehow they didn’t receive any cancellation as per their policy they refused refunds regardless of the situation. I didn’t even use the app but these greedy people keeping my money. I will contact my credit card company for chargeback and I’ll file complain against these crooks. Shame on you!

Great first day. I was skeptical but I loved the first day workouts. I joined on Sunday so too late for the menu to start today but I’ll give it a go. Some of the recipes have ingredients that are a bit harder to find in parts of Canada. Also the connect to my Apple Watch is great except that it wouldn’t let me finish the workout. “Are you sure you want to end your workout?” X or ✔️ the x works but not the ✔️ But hey in the first week or so you have expect bugs!

Cancelled subscription. I loved this app when I first subscribed to it in 2020. But I haven’t loved the changes after it was sold. The newer workouts all seem to require purchasing their new equipment or having more equipment for your home-based work out. There was zero transparency in what caused the issues when the app stopped working. I’m sure that in the next six months it will come out that they were hacked and all of our data leaked with a no-meaning apology for it. Additionally, the recipes and menus have become repetitive with the same flavour profile regardless of how the meal is positioned. Now that gyms are back in full force, I’m happier spending more on in-person work outs with a face and name of the trainer or owner of the gym who I can talk to and will respond if something is wrong.

Great tool for getting your wellness in check !. Great app, it links up to my Apple Watch and easy click and go with sets and reps. Love the exercise references displayed. Would like to see a drop down option for putting in amount of weight used in exercises to reference progress within the program selected.

Single mom of 3. I tried the free trial and only thing I found that motivated me were the Pilates and recipes. I am a personal trainer myself and being at home during covid thought this may help. I expected workouts from Chris himself more so then others. A lot of the workouts had more cardio base and ok to training. Definitely not suited for one who just had a baby and a fractured foot I couldn’t jump on Exocet for the Pilates classes. They expect us to have all this equipment and many don’t. When I tried to cancel during the free prescription I could not. I couldn’t contact them or find a number to call or email. They gave no reminder or email prior to charging my visa over 100 dollars. They don’t give refunds. So disappointed and this is the last thing I needed during these times. I will make sure all I know don’t try this app. Not worth it and I felt robbed/ripped off.

Best. Decision. Ever.. I got this program at the beginning of the pandemic; figured I can’t leave the house, so might as well try and get in shape. :) I’ve been hooked ever since. Ever year they’ve added new content, new challenges, and new goals. I might not have Thor’s physique just yet, but it’s about progress not perfection. ;)

Feel bad about giving 3 stars. I gave it a shot with the 1 week free trial. Here is my personal opinion about the app: Positive: -The meal plans are amazing, the recipes are amazing. For someone who is lacking creativity regarding their weekly meal prep, this app is great for that. -the interface is great, the picture or video options are also great. Negative (my personal opinion): - The training programs are very trend oriented. Maybe the app is targeting people who have less time to go to the gym, so they do home workouts, maybe it’s something else, but I find the library of workouts lacking for someone who is for exemple looking for a sports performance oriented program.

Payed app. I preordered the app I was exited to try it but after going past the login screen it wanted me to chose a payment plan I would have liked to try some workouts before having to by a plan for 24$ per month

Love it. There are tons of recipes to pic from that save in your shopping list at the top with everything from them and they don’t double . The work outs go with your level and can up them at any time .there planed out for me all week , that’s so nice because I need it to keep me on track . Also it’s nice I can do them anywhere I have my phone cuz of my schedule.

This app has made me a better tree planter. So many great resources for staying in shape while working.

Do not buy. Made a mistake of paying for the whole year and regretting it. The app is designed good and has amazing workouts but the support and technical issues aren’t worth it. This whole week I went to the gym only to find out that the apps program tab doesn’t load and I’m left with wondering what my next workout is. The support is terrible. Keep offering me a solution to give me a free month whatever I can do with that free month if the app doesn’t work. Can’t even request for a refund from Apple anymore since I purchased 2-3 months ago and it’s doesn’t show up on recent purchases to request refunds. Pls stay away from this app. Didn’t think it could take this long for them to find a fix.

Excellent content but buggy application. Love the content and focus on functional training … it is a bit buggy … slow to load and sometimes slow to save workouts

I Feel Like Me Again.. I’ve been using the app daily since June of this year, on recommendation from my therapist to find new ways to get moving in this trying time. All of the coaches are wonderful, engaging, informative, and most importantly- kind. This app centers the joy in wellness and nourishment. I don’t feel pressured to do anything uncomfortable, or like the app is focused on “shredding that fat” like others are. I feel supported, and encouraged to do what makes me feel good. The recipes are quick, easy, and very tasty. The meal plans aren’t focused on restrictions or watching your calories. You don’t have to log what you eat. It’s just there to help you on your journey toward wellness. The guided meditations are an added bonus, too! I have found a routine, and pleasure amidst the darkness with Centr. Thank you specifically to Ashley, Tahl, and Sylvia for being my go-tos for a quick pick me up!

Best workout app I’ve ever used.. All through HS and into College I played multiple sports and maintained a high level of fitness. During that time I used many apps and programs but Centr is by far the best I have ever used. Not only do they provide detailed workouts that fit just about any and all needs they also focus on diet and what you put in your body. Their recipes and protein shakes taste amazing and provide an excellent energy boost to get you through any day. Working out and living a healthy lifestyle has never been easier or more fun. I genuinely look forward to my workouts and the meditations to help me fall asleep quickly. I would and have recommended this app to everyone that has mentioned living a healthier lifestyle.

Lack of Integrity. I decided to download this app during this pandemic, because it was advertised to be free during this time. I believed it could really help me during this time of so much stress and uncertainty. However, I found out too late, that it was only a marketing ploy used to get people to buy the app. I was charged over a hundred dollars, before I realized what was going on. I find it so distasteful that someone, for whom I had great respect, would use a time like this to prey on people who are already are facing financial difficulties. I would have totally been willing to pay for this app once this was over, and we were back to work. I feel duped. I feel preyed upon. I feel very much like this was no different than all the people out there trying to price gouge on items we are all needing, which forced people to go without things they needed to get through this unprecedented time in our country. And for someone to use this time for their own financial gain, I find them to lack integrity and any character that I would ever support in any way ever again.

Makes planning very simple. One of the most overwhelming aspects of working out and trying to eat healthy is all the planning. This app just does all of that for me. Go to the planner, select the meal, and very simply add it to your shopping list. The meals I’ve tried so far are nice and simple to make and turn out nice for someone who does not enjoy cooking. There is enough variation in the workouts to keep me interested and not feeling like a drone. I didn’t think I’d find much value in the mediation stuff but I have been pleasantly surprised with how relaxed they make me feel. My only complaints are I wish there was an AppleTV app so I didn’t have to use air play with my phone, and that it was compatible with the fitness tracking on my garmin watch. All in all this is a great whole health app that makes everything very easy to do.

Simply the best.. I’ve been an athletes for as long as I can remember and this is some of the best fitness training I’ve ever had. Very versatile and meets the needs of anyone. Weight training, cardio, plyo, HIIT, HIRT, Yoga, Pilates. Basically if you want it they have it. They also have different levels of difficulty along with alternative workouts if there is a lack of equipment or you just aren’t able to do the full movement yet. It also includes recipes for great tasting meals that is very healthy for you also which is very hard to find. I can honestly say Centr has changed my life, my health both physically and psychologically. I’ve been a paying subscriber for 2 years now and about to go into my third. Well worth the money for a full subscription no doubt in my mind.

Workouts are way to long. For most of working minimum wage jobs we don’t have an hour or more to workout and just want to have a consistent small workout. Hour long workouts everyday after doing a 9 hour shift at a hospital was very hard though obviously working out an hour everyday did yield results I wish they had an option to choose how long you want the workout to be and then it builds a quick workout of a preset made short clips of the trainers doing examples of the workouts. Also it’s expensive. Like really expensive. And does not have a viable monthly option. It’s a ton of content but the only one I was really concerned with was the working out and ultimately felt like I was wasting the app. But to follow the centr lifestyle mind body food you need time and money. I wish they would gear this to people who make minimum wage and can’t afford all this lifestyle everyday and just want a quick but extremely challenging for workout for 20-25 min.

A few fixes, but LOVE it!. I’ve had this for since day one! Only have issues with certain moments within the self guided and coached workout! Coached is my go to (love how great the coaches are at being so positive and really pushing you!) but even during some moments there is a lack of proper notification of a movement change/position while in the workout. It’s why I try to avoid self guided workouts altogether because the constant need to stop my range of motion/momentum and hit the button/check the screen to progress is rather annoying when trying to stay focused! Only other complaint is the lack of ability to project the workouts onto my larger home TV’s. I have options for FireStick, Roku, and Google Home....and it won’t allow me to project onto ANY of those so I get stuck having to do most workouts on my cellphone. It kind of bums me because I wear glasses and hate working out with them on. Glasses people get it! It would be easier to see at home if able to connect to a TV besides an Apple based one! Haven’t used the food option, but many of the recipes I see pop up look amazing! Also love how they factor in using leftovers. Only thing is I’m very low carb/sugar restricted and I haven’t seen an option like that so far? Especially with breakfast ideas. But again...haven’t personally used a recipe so I won’t be to critical on that point.

Love it. I did the 6 week trial for Centr 6. I lost 5 pounds and I saw a noticeable change in how toned my body was!!! I have tried sooo many expensive gyms- equinox, Orangetheory, Barry’s boot camp etc. & I saw more results with this app working out at home. I have experience working out so the workouts were all easy to follow and weren’t super long where you feel discouraged and tired. The sequence and length of the workouts really worked for me & I felt like I was still being challenged every week I loved sergio’s meditation and once my trial ended I missed it so much so I had to sign up for the yearly subscription. I didn’t use the recipes. So excited to move onto centr unleashed the only thing I’d change is I wish you had the option to listen to your own music while still hearing the audio cues

The best workout app!!!!. I downloaded this app, tried the 7 day trial and fell in love with it. I signed up for the yearly membership and I have been having an amazing time with it. I’ve battled with losing weight for years and have done many fad diets and they didn’t work for me. This app does! This app is not just workouts, they also have great meals and meditations. One of the things that I love about the workouts is that it’s a person showing the movements and explaining how to do it…not a computer animation. I will admit that before this app, I weighed over 300 pounds and now I’m under that. I’ve lost so far 27 pounds, I’m not starving myself, I’m having fun with the workouts, I’m not as stressed out as I use to be, and I’m happy that I am the seeing results. I thank the team of people at Centr for creating this amazing app and for helping me lose the weight!

Love the daily Updates. Everyday is different and can be adjusted to your needs, swapping out workouts or anything else is a breeze. I’m looking forward to losing weight and getting fit with Centr. This is designed to be a stand alone program or to incorporate into your current programs. I’m super excited at how flexible this program is to work with my needs. As a beginner, I’m modifying the moves that are hard for me. I already have moves I need to work up to, many see this as a negative, but I see this as a way to measure my growth. The trainers even are available to answer questions! I’m so impressed with all the hard work put into this app. I had no ideas the meditation and sleep visualization would be included and lots of articles to keep me informed. I even got my Apple Watch to link up the first time I tried. This is just the first week can’t wait to see what’s to come!

Saves me SO much time. I’m a very health conscious person. But as a mother of 2 and a busy entrepreneur, I often run out of minutes in the day to get everything in before bedtime. This app really takes my food and workout planning to the next level. Because I DON’T have to decide what to cook, because I DON’T need to make a shopping list, and because I DON’T have to plan my own workouts - I can actually DO my workouts, eat healthy / pack to-go meals for my whole family, and get a daily meditation in - instead of spending time PLANNING for these thing and the scrambling to make them happen as well. I find it easy to stay motivated to use the a daily. I love checking the little done button, and am feeling great these days. Incredible app. You have NOTHING to lose. Try the 7 day free trial now.

A strong 7.0. Okay the only complaint I have it’s that the workouts change by daily basis but not weekly... are we gonna get new workouts or what?? I pay too much money for the same stuff every week. However, I will say that the workouts are good, I felt the soreness in places I haven’t in a while. I workout daily, it’s nothing new to me.. it did show me good fundamental and also new workouts that workout the parts that I was missing. I like how it had a mediation tab, and also the cooking tab. I also like how they stretch you before and after. You can also pause it if you feel like you need a break. I will give this app more months and if ends up being the same workout routines every week Im going to cancel it.. and perhaps just write the workouts down on a note pad.. was really hoping it was different workouts every week, if keep it for Eva..

Really great app! One suggestion!. I think this app is really great! I like all the different options for trainers and coached workouts. And the six week program is awesome! I joined with the six week trial but I’ll be keeping this! One suggestion for the app developers would be to add an option to “favorite” the coached workouts. Then as you do some that you really like, people can click the favorite button and then in the future they can go to their favorites list and pick a workout from that list. That’d help me which workouts I’ve done and which ones I really like and want to do again. Also, after you complete a coached workout it’d be cool that if you go back in, it’ll show you if you’ve completed the workout before. Maybe when the last you did it or even how many times you’ve completed it. Thanks for developing the app and sharing the workouts!!

The Package Deal. This is by far one of the most user friendly apps for not only health and fitness, but a lifestyle. The recipes are simple and easy to make. The workouts cover all areas of fitness. The customization it provides is by far my favorite thing because it makes things easy, and apps that strive to do what this app does, should always make things the easiest it can be. It generates a shopping list for you that makes going grocery shopping not a drag. The resources, UX/UI, and expertise is the differentiating factors that set this apart from all the apps in the market. If I could change a few things, which I’m sure are in the works, are updates and metrics to keep track of improvements - such as a more intuitive and engaging tools for tracking weight loss, water intake, etc . . . tracking my progress would be beneficial. But other than that, LOVE IT!

Permanent back problems. I bought this app and started using it back in August/September of 2019. I had already been going to the gym myself doing my own workout prescribed by a PT. I am no dummy when it comes to correct form and smart exercises. About a month after doing this workout, I noticed a severe pain down my right leg. Since then, it is now March 31, 2020, I have been diagnosed with a herniated disc in my lumbar spine. This has become excruciatingly painful for me for the last 6+ months and it’s not getting better. I have been working with a physical therapist and she has told me that most of the exercises, especially the Da Rulk exercises, are not good for the average person. These exercises may be fine for finely tuned professional athletes, but I’m sure the majority of us are not that. If I had half a mind, I would sue this company to pay for my hospital bills, but it was my choice to do this workout. I simply will not be recommending this to anyone. I don’t wish my pain on my worst enemy.

Workouts are amazing; app functionality could use some work. First of all, I want to say that I love what Chris did with this app! It has tons of workouts plus many other bonuses such as meal ideas (which are delicious), mindfulness practices, and workouts you can do from home. It is probably the best exercise app I’ve ever used. The only complaint I have is with how the app functions. It has a hard time saving my workout progress when I do a six week program such as Power for muscle building. I can finish a workout and it will save it temporarily, but when I go back to the app later the progress is gone. Frustrating, but a minor fix I’m sure this great team can get fixed pretty easily. I look forward to the update that fixes this minor issue as I continue to use the Centr app to achieve my fitness goals!

Joined for Chris, Stayed for the smoothies!. Seriously though, the best part about working out is the post-workout smoothie. Da Rulk makes me feel like I’m back in boot camp. Actually, IT with a Drill Instructor might be preferable to a Da Rulk wrecker. Luke’s great for those days I’m not sure what to work on so I decide to make everything hurt while doing cardio. Cardio with Ashley makes my lungs forget how to use oxygen. I’ve wiped out surfing and breathed salt water that had less burn than an Ashley workout. Torre is great for bulking. Got me from 180 to 190 after my EAS. I slacked of and didn’t maintain sadly, but when the time comes to bulk again I know Torre will get me there! Sylvia makes me cry. Yoga hurts dude! Dan has great recipes and crazy tough challenges. By far my favorite part is the recipes and shopping list. I’ve always believed the best part about working hard and staying fit is getting to eat whatever I what. The Centr team has a ton of recipes that taste good and will give you the nutrients necessary to achieve your fitness goals and satisfy your inner foodie! Thanks for the great app guys. I look forward to crying and cursing your names for a long time to come. P.S. It’s smoothie time!!!💪

Overall- loving it. Allergies- beware!. I moved across the country recently and got rid of all my workout equipment. It's been tough getting a decent and consistent routine. So this having full routines catered to your goals and current level of skill, is fantastic. They've been making me feel sore in ways I haven't for years. There is a full dietary plan which is awesome as well, however that's where my one issue with this app is. Despite there being so many dietary options, they are not friendly whatsoever to very basic allergies, and most options you have to swap out with will have the same issue. So if you have some of the more common allergies as I do, ie: some fruits and tree nuts, you will have a very difficult time using their meal planner and will have to do lots of extra legwork. Other than that, love this app!

Zero compassion. I purchased the seven day trial and the company charged me the full one-year amount without alerting me that I had clicked on this about two years ago which I had forgotten about. I’m a little older so I would think they would understand. So because I clicked on it two years ago I no longer qualified for the seven day trial, so when I clicked on seven day trial this week it automatically charged me without alerting me. I wrote customer service telling them that these workouts will not work for me due to an injury and that I wanted to cancel the trial and to get my refund and they said that under no circumstances would I get my refund. This company just cares about your money. There should’ve been a pop-up menu that said I had a previously purchased or signed up for this and that I was no longer qualified for the seven day trial, but instead he insists that even if it’s an accidental purchase or any reason, you do not get your money back no questions asked. This goes against Customer Service excellence that other companies have, so beware, make sure you read the fine print or you will be screwed by this company. What a shame! And to think I was going to sign up again after my injury was completely resolved but you can forget that, I’d rather go get a personal trainer in person.

Almost perfect. I just want to start out by saying I do love this app. The planner is one of the best features I've ever used in a fitness app and I feel incredible marking each thing done every day. However, there are some features I wish were in the app. My main issues are with the healthy eating portion of the app. The meals I've had are great but I'm not convinced I'm eating enough to build muscle, which is the current goal I have set it the app. This may be because I classify myself as a hardgainer and I wish there was an option tailored for my diet in the app. Having the app connect with myFitnessPal would be great for tracking calories as well. The meditation and workouts are really good and I have no issues with them. I just know that majority of the battle to achieve fitness goals is in the diet which is why I want more in the section of the app. For now I'll just be trying to fill in the extra calories on my own. I will would recommend this app to friends.

Wonderful. I absolutely love this app. Have had the app for about 3 years and this is only app I pay for year. I hope to see more updated sleep and meditation. Love how we have added new instructors. This app when you need that pick me up this is my go to. After having a heart blockage in January, Centr has helped me regain my strength and confidence. Keep it up ladies and gents.. Also I wanted to know when we can get some more sleep meditation? I still love this app till this day! Love how Chris and the team have improved over the years.. keep Improving and love the more sleep mediations that have been added. Keep it up team. Hope one day go get a facetime from Chris and the team! Need some Centr gear as well.

Better fitness apps available. This app is pretty good, but I think it’s alittle over hyped. For someone with such a huge name and following the app leaves more to be desired. The meals are probably the best part but a lot of them call for a ton of ingredients and take awhile to make. I did the build muscle program and it was good at first but after awhile you are just doing the same exercises over and over again. You do 4 weeks of the same exercises every week and then it changes but it only has like 4 different cycles and then you start over and do the same things again. The only thing I can say is the price is not bad but there are better options like you can’t even input how much weight you did or reps so it doesn’t keep track for you which is kind of stupid because almost every app I have ever used gives you that option.

Does not work well with Apple Watch. I love this app so much - the instructors are amazing, especially Tahl and Sylvia!! I Also love the recipes and meditations on top of all the great workouts. The only complaint I have is that the app is super glitchy when I use the Apple Watch to record my workouts and close activity rings. Half of the time it only records the first few seconds or minutes of the workout. So it records maybe 3 minutes of a 45 min. workout, and my activity ring isn’t closed. But you don’t know that it froze unless you’re checking the watch constantly during your workout - which I do sometimes (because it happens so often) and have to restart it. It seems like the problems are getting worse because yesterday, it crashed like 8 times when I started the workout on my watch. I restarted my watch (series 3) and my phone (11 pro) and it STILL crashed after that. It’s such a shame since every other aspect of the app is so wonderful. I wish it worked better with the Apple Watch. I like to have a record of my workouts that I can refer to on the activity app. I really like data, and the centr app not working well with the watch is creating very inaccurate data. Is anyone else having issues with centr on their Apple watch or is it just me???

Good but not great for weight loss. The meals look great and so do the workouts. But there’s a lot missing for this to be a good weight loss and fitness goals app. 1. Needs more filters for meals - like “no seafood” or sort by chicken for example 2. Needs a progress tracking feature - there’s nowhere to log your weight or measurements or take pictures 3. Needs overview of macros for each day!! This is huge for an app like this - it would be so much easier if there was a daily view with the meals selected that show you’re hitting your protein goals for example. When trying to weight train and build muscle you need to make sure you’re getting enough protein and right now this app makes it so you need another app like MyFitnessPal to track but you have to do so much work to input each ingredient since there’s no syncing between those apps. So you have to manually track the macros outside of the app which is a big flaw for those trying to be more diligent about weight loss and muscle building For those reasons I won’t be continuing the free trial. But the app shows a lot of positives and if it had the 3rd suggestion I shared above I would for sure be using this as a yearly member. The other 2 suggestions would be nice to haves but not essential. The 3rd is essential for customers trying to track calories and macros for weight loss and muscle gain.

Great programs, tech could be better. The meal plans, shopping list feature, and the workout programs themselves are all great and totally worth the cost. However, the app itself is still quite buggy (frequent crashes when swapping out meals or making updates to the grocery list). Also, the self-guided weightlifting program in the planner BADLY needs some kind of simple weight tracking (blog post suggests using the separate notes app). At this point this is pretty basic functionality; you shouldn’t have to leave a fitness app to log your weights, see charts with your progress, etc. Playing music within the self-guided workouts is also a rough experience (volume ducks for seemingly no reason depending on which screen you’re on, etc). Apple Watch app still very buggy as well (frequently loses sync with the phone app, records strength training as HIIT, fails to end workouts, results in duplicate workouts in Health, etc)

Fantastic and motivating content, software needs some love. 5 stars for the excellent content and experience! The team has really assembled an incredible group to get trained with and I absolutely love the variety. I enjoy being active but getting access to so many different experts has really upped my overall fitness and exposed many weak spots in my routines. Each successive week I feel stronger, more agile, and more confident. Carve out some time, no excuses, stick with it and you’ll see results. Only feedback is to have a more regular app update cycle. App has been out for a while now and it’s still on 1.1.1, I’m encountering little bugs here and there. Centr team does a wonderful job providing food content, but the platform needs to be robust in order for a completely smooth user experience

Good content, but slight usability problems. I really love what Chris Hemsworth’s team is doing in this new space with technology and fitness. However, just minutes downloading the app on tablet, I ran into some usability issues where the software itself is not scaled to fit the screen-size, which left me puzzled as I would imagine most fitness apps are geared for both mobile and tablet. Despite that, I shifted my device to mobile and throughout my experience, I thoroughly enjoyed the content with the fitness routines, recipes, and meditation sessions. Within mobile, I still ran into usability issues with going back to the menu during and after my workout, which left me a little worried of how I was able to track the last routine if I wanted to go back to that same routine. I’m currently on my 1st day of the free trail, I shall see what comes forward after my trial ends with an update of my experience.

Wonderfully thought out program. I’ve been a member for almost four years now and I love it. I was skeptical at first, but after giving it a shot, I found it is totally worth it. The trainers are awesome and the six to eight week programs are even better (and my personal favorite for seeing and feeling great results). I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt in my life. Only down side on a personal note, is I am not strict on following the meal plan; I’m sure I would see even better results if I did follow it. But otherwise, this program is a gem. There are a lot of wonderful articles and wellness/meditation aspects as well and customer service is always top notch. I recommend this to literally everyone.

Great app but many glitches and improvements needed. App freezes often and I have to start workouts over. Also often when I complete a workout it doesn’t stay showing as completed. Asp improvements needed to the meals. Should be able to keep a list of the meals you selected for the week while still crossing out all the ingredients you bought. Once you cross out the imgredients to keep track of what you’ve already purchased, the mea leaves my list. Also, should be able to clock on the picture of the mea from the list and immediately be taken to the recipe instructions. I have to be sure to save to favorites etc. minor but would match other apps I used that were more convenient. Otherwise love the workouts and the meals are great and simple!

Could be better. I was really impressed at first with everything the app had to offer. After using it for two weeks I’m starting to see some annoying flaws. The recipes have typos, aren’t descriptive, and lack a conversion system to help users in the US. The workouts are good but sometimes feels rushed. Some exercises aren’t instructed very well and I’m stuck figuring out what I’m supposed to do the entire time. I’ve gotten used to navigating around the app but there’s a lack of satisfaction when accomplishing things because you can’t really see your progress. There’s a button to mark something as done but it hides once you navigate away and I wish there was a visible change to that task for the day so I can easily see my progress for the day. It’s a good app, I love the idea and the trainers. It just needs some fine tuning and maybe a bit of beta testing.

Enjoying most of it, but . . .. Overall, this app has everything I was looking for. It is not expensive, it is user friendly and overall motivating for me. Meditation - love them! Wish they had more to offer for day time meditations. Most are for sleep visualization Work outs- overall good variety, some feel like they move too fast (yoga especially) just to make it a quick work out. I’m just getting into a pose and she is moving on already so there is no time to truly stretch. Food plan - recipes are delicious but they grossly underestimate prep time. For example they gave a stir fry a 5 min prep time that had 4 vegetables that needed to be cut and rice noodles that took 10 minutes just themselves to make. It took me about an hour and I had pre cut 2 of the 3 vegetables. The average user doesn’t have chef chopping skills or a massive kitchen to work in. Overall I plan to keep using the app and hope to see results!

The perfect training app. I have been searching for an app that is as detailed as centr. Once I started diving into the programs, it was game on from there. There are so many tutorials in the app on how to properly do the exercises, how to pick weights, it explained tempo and gave me the guidance I needed without having to hire a personal trainer. This app is great in making you feel confident in the gym or while you’re working out at home. I love being able to log my weights for each rep as well. 10/10 recommend downloading this if you’re looking to create a fitness routine and keep yourself accountable. With Centr there’s no excuse for not showing up. It truly is everything you need as a beginner or seasoned gym goer.

Great Lifestyle app!. Really liking this program. I’ve learned that a phased approach is the key to success with this program. First I started with the workouts, which are now part of my routine. Next I have been integrating meditations and some dietary changes as well. I think if someone just jumps in and converts their whole daily routine on Day 1, it will not create long lasting change. Phase it all in over a few weeks/months, build the routine over time because the end results lead to a happier/healthier lifestyle which will be long lasting. One ask to the Centr team, can you add airplay support for audio only files? Love that I can stream the workouts to my TV, but as of today I cannot stream podcasts or mediations to my speaker., they can only be played on device. They are currently native to the page and cannot be streamed to a 3rd party device.

Love it!!. I’ve been using Centr for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it. I’m a relatively fit person (usually run and lift weights), but Centr is letting me do fun workout classes in my home. I have never actually looked forward to working out until I started using this. I personally use the website more than the app just because it’s easier for me to see when working out. It’s so nice to have such a variety of workouts (really been enjoying the yoga, HIIT and MMA style classes), and I think it’s pretty cool that a famous Marvel star like Chris Hemsworth wanted to make all of his trainers and dieticians available and accessible to the general public. It was also so cool of them to have 6 weeks free during this pandemic. After I’m done with my trial, I definitely plan on paying for it.

UI needs some work. I like the workouts but the app’s user interface is confusing. You select self paced or guided and the picture flashes but you need to press the choice button again then you get to the part where you can start the workout. Also choosing Imperial in the measurements does not work it still shows metric Update:I was having trouble trying to find the wording but after my third workout discovered another issue that I hope they address but will require editing the videos. When you start a workout the trainer will be explaining the exercise while the example is showing but before the person can even get halfway through the example the set timer is already started. It’s like a three second example with a 20 second explanation that isn’t finished by the halfway mark. It’s a bit jarring until I got used to how the app structure is.

Great start with room for improvement. First off, I’m loving what this app offers! I love how CENTR gives you options in training, and healing!! Where else can you get, yoga, bulking, functional training, foundation training, Pilates, meditation and nutrition all in one place, with fantastic coaching! I’ve personally been waiting on an app like this for a very very long time. There is absolutely no “bro science” to be found here, and well worth the $$. Developers The issues that I’m having so far, are as follows: #1 I cannot stop a workout on my Apple Watch. And it seems to start workouts without me starting them. So my wife keeps getting notifications throughout the day saying I’m completing workouts lol. #2 when you set up your stats and your goal, I’m wondering where that actually plays into this program.. seems like I can just skip that and get the same experience. #3 app responsiveness seems to be hit and miss, I have to click an option more than once to progress through the app. It’s not 100% of the time, but it is more than it should be. #4 please please please... develop an IPad version of the app! Would make following the workouts easier than trying to watch on the phone.

I like the app, wish there was more…. This app is great the workouts really push you and the meal planning/shopping list is a really great feature. The meditations are a nice feature that are a nice wind down to a long day and have been insightful and actually knowledgeable in my experience. The programs range widely and are very immersive whether you are looking for working with weights or calisthenics to Pilates and dynamic yoga. The self guided workouts are pretty straight forward and the logbook is a nice feature that allows you to track weight/reps for each specific exercise. The only things I would like to see in this app are some more functionality to the daily planner, they do schedule you one workout per day but you can only change it to something else, not add more workout sessions to a single day. If they scheduled you for one, you get one. While it’s not that big of a deal to just do the session without seeing it on the planner it’s just something I think would be nice. One other feature I think could be nice to add to the planner it’s a journal entry. Whether it’s a journal entry with a prompt, or simply a clean slate to log some events from the day. It could be used to further reflect on the guided meditation performed during the day. I think it would round this out as a whole “wellness” app not just fitness.

Unauthorized Renewal. I signed up for a year subscription last year but found that it wasn’t for me and I haven’t used it in months. I didn’t realize that it was an auto renewal subscription (a mistake in my end) and thought it would cancel when I reached my year. I just figured I’d let it go until the end incase I wanted to try using it again since I already paid for it. It’s the first fitness app that I’ve purchased so I didn’t expect it to auto renewal. I’m used to getting a reminder of some kind letting me know that my membership/subscription was ending and needed to renew on a specific day. I received nothing from Centr. There was no notification saying that my membership was ending or that payment would be taken on a specific day. I contacted Centr a couple of days after payment taken to cancel and for a refund. Customer Service was no help, you can only contact them through email not by phone. Now I’m stuck paying for an app that isn’t for me. It just feels shady. I only found that I could cancel my subscription on their site not through app. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Programming is non sensical. I love testing new fitness apps, I love the UX here, but I find the workouts to not make sense for goals. I get they’re trying to make the workouts more “lifestyle” but if you have specific goals it’s irritating to see the app naturally add random yoga or Pilates workouts making it so you have to change the workout which you can do but then your options can be limited and without a good understanding of fitness you could be led astray. I’d like to see a bit more structure towards goals and maybe a less holistic approach for what they charge. I’d also like to see more options for food, but I mean what they give you is fine especially if you aren’t a picky eater and have a higher budget for food. Also I get the core demo the app aims for is probably higher income, but most people wanting a fitness app to help them are probably lower to mid income from my experience anyway. So maybe keep that in mind during future updates.

One workout and I’m so impressed!. I haven’t explored the recipes (which I’ve heard great things about) but I did one workout with Tiffiny Hall and it was outstanding. There was a 6 minute optional video going over moves to get you comfortable, the workout was 26 minutes, and then you have an optional cool down as well that was just over 3 minutes. The workout was so quick and fun and got my heart rate up, burned out my shoulders, and pointed out important form details to make sure I was getting the most out of my workout. It was the first thing to pop into my “planner” in the app, and I just went for it and am so glad I did! It was great! I’m also really excited that there are two (that I know of) vegan experts on this app. I also love the inclusion of helpful hints in the form of articles and blogs. Totally inspiring and can’t wait to see what else there is! Great job to the team!

Everything and more!. This app has everything you are looking for! Tired body racing mind…find a meditation to put you at ease. Kid that won’t sleep…there is a meditation for that. What type of food do you want? Burgers, seafood, smoothies, breakfast lunch or dinner? There is a recipe for you. Cooking for 2, 3, 4, or a dozen? The app allows you to adjust and create the shopping list for you. What kind of workout? Boxing, Pilates, weights, bodyweight, high intensity, low intensity? There is a workout for you. And then let’s talk about the trainers….this is a group of people that push you to be your best selves…and make you want to come back for more! And finally….the community…. They are the best! They will become the unwavering support system everyone deserves!

This app is awesome. I’ve tried multiple programs with vary degrees of success. What I love about Centr is the variety. You have different levels and variations of workouts every day, not the same three dvds to swap as you progress. They not only give you a list of what to eat and snack on, but a grocery list to buy those items with accompanying recipes to cook them. The meals are delicious and filling. Definitely takes a bit to get used to left overs and getting creative with extra ingredients. Then they support you with sleep and mediation. This is the app to end all fitness apps. I’ve been using this for four weeks and have seen substantial gains following their rubric to a tee. Will use again and again and recommend in a heartbeat.

No more excuses!. It is my belief that we all have personal obstacles to becoming physically fit. For me it was definitely nutrition. I’m married with two kids and I do most of the cooking. Once I’m off work it’s difficult enough to figure out what to cook let alone trying to find something healthy. This app takes the guesswork out and gives you a meal plan, and if you don’t want certain meals you can switch them out. If I go out for a meal I can just look at the nutritional breakdown they provide for the meals they want me to eat and get something similar. It tracks your progress and keeps you motivated. I’m sure this isn’t the golden ticket for everybody, but for me it’s been a true blessing.

Make the Dialogue Optional. I have been exercising for around 9 years, been involved in sports my whole life. I am currently still on a collegiate team, but needed this app because my home town has strict COVID rules. I thought this would be a great way to get extra work in after my team scheduled workouts.... and it really is, these circuits are well organized and you get out what you put in. But man, I really can not stand the dialogue of the coaches. The circuit I am in are 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds rest. Some of the movements are pretty difficult and I need to really focus and push myself. And then out of no where I get some cheesy line like “look at that sweat! Somebody is working over there”, or it’s filled in with actual conversation between the trainers. Why would this be necessary, it’s distracting and mostly annoying if your trying to zone in on the movement. If they could add an option that is just the music and timer audio that would be great. I don’t need a motivational one liner every minute on the minute.

love it :). such a great and healthy approach to fitness. i have tried the kayla itsines sweat program and quit because it felt like a punishment (the meal plan was restrictive, the exercises were repetitive). i recently stumbled upon this app and decided to give it a go and i was surprised! the workouts feel empowering, the food is GOOD and i love the meditations and blog posts. so exited to keep using this. this app is aimed towards creating a healthy LIFESTYLE, not just numbers and weight loss. i mainly use this so i can stay consistent with my fitness (i’m seventeen, and have always been an athlete but i tend to be a little inconsistent so i haven’t been able to build as much muscle as i would like). i would recommend this to anyone who is interested in fitness and HEALTH. if you want rapid weight loss though or are looking for a quick fix, this may not be for you. much love <3

Good idea that fell short of its potential.. The pricing isn’t what made me reconsider using this app. I was really excited to try out the workouts that Chris Hemsworth used to get in shape, for not only his movies, but the workouts that he uses to live a high quality, fit life. Don’t be fooled—Chris Hemsworth is just the face of the app—nothing more. I imagined seeing his exact strategies, workouts, and meal plans that he used for films like Thor. I was wrong. If you’re like me, you’ll be disappointed. This is just another generic fitness app that tries to capture bits of the fitness industry into one place. Nothing impressive enough to be used over other apps that do the same thing (and for less $$). Seriously, how hard is it to publish Hemsworth’s exact strategy and let everyone see it? To me, that would be worth the money. It’s pretty much a bait-and-switch. Although this is a well-intentioned app, it definitely missed the mark and fell short of its potential.

Best And Most Supportive Workout App on the Market. I have been a Centr member since 2019 and I have yet to get bored from the workouts. Not only that, but the recipes are delicious and balanced. I love that the program does not preach any health fads but sticks to healthy, nutritious living. I am wheat free due to health conditions and each and every one of their recipes are either naturally wheat free or can easily be altered to be wheat free. I love the challenges they design multiple times a year and of course, their super supportive and welcoming online Facebook community. It is cheaper than a gym membership and more motivating then trying to wing workouts day to day, which can be discouraging and time consuming. I just want to be told what to do when it comes to my workouts and Centr delivers.

100% happy, no regrets.. No matter your fitness ability, strength or coordination Centr will meet you where you are and take you to new levels of physicality month after month after month. What is needed? Only your motivation and commitment. You’ll never get into rut with Centr because it offers dozens of varieties of exercise. Spend 30 minutes 5 days a week with Centr workouts and you will see results. I’ve eaten several of the recipes provided. As a self-proclaimed food snob, I find most of the recipes delicious and fun to make. Guess what?! My kids (11 & 4 years old) eat Centr recipes without complaint. WINNING! The blogs teach me, the trainers motivate me, the food entices me, the meditations (kids listen to these too) calm me. Centr changed me. I can not praise this program enough. Centr works.

This app is perfect!. I have been struggling for years to get in shape and this app took the team of experts it had and has already given me the ability to make more progress on my fitness in one month than I have been able to in the last few years on my own. The variety of workouts and foods available allows what you do and what you eat to never get dull or boring. The workouts are intense and enjoyable but also short and done in a timely manner that allows you to get in and out of using a gym or done with your workout at home very quick. I have absolutely loved my experience so far using the app, it is super user friendly and easy to navigate. All in all I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone wanting to or trying to get in shape. Its like paying for a gym membership but you get so much more out of this app for the same price. 10/10

Potential but unusable. I really like the idea of this app. There are not enough pro training apps out there (especially for men!), and this one is below par. Workouts look lit but my gym is in a basement and barely gets any service so loading the videos is near impossible. I tried today by watching part of the video in the part of the gym that gets some service (near the entrance) and when i went to the workout area, i tried to remember the last 5 minutes of video i just watched. Totally unpractical. It doesn't help that the coaches videos have barely any description about what you're about to watch, just something cheeky like “ready to rock your body weight?” - lol, yeah I am, wish i could! Videos need more descriptions. Ideally i could download the videos to the app to view whenever like netflix does. App could use improvements in other places like in the shopping list. Yall have it going one way where you can filter by recipe, but i want to know why I'm buying ingredients without having to filter through every meal for the week and doing all that mental math. Havent tried the meditation but ill probably end my subscription before i have the time to since the app isnt worth it. Anyways, good idea; there is definitely a niche to be filled for pro training apps for both men and women but this app doesnt quite cut it. Maybe i’ll try it again in a couple months. Definitely not worth 20 bucks a month rn.
