Love this app but definitely a few improvements that can be made. For starters, please don’t make the holiday / special event overlays and assets be seasonal / temporary? Just make them available 24/7, don’t be silly. Also, it didn’t used to do this but now there seems to be a problem with the animation lines, now when I have multiple lines and continue to draw new ones, the new lines interfere with the old ones movement often stopping them completely. I’d also like for there to be a way to copy paste your frozen area drawn to the overlay erase, so I don’t have to trace the same complicated shape twice. A symmetry option for those tools would be a cherry on top. Overall love this program, it’s super close to being perfect.

Deceptive Advertising in Action. It’s a good idea that has been executed marginally well. My main complaint is that the preview includes animating a perfect circle using a ferris wheel as an example. Drawing a perfect circle by hand is impossible, especially on a touchscreen phone. I purchased the Pro version thinking that there might be a circle tool. Nope. After more than a week customer support finally returned my message and recommended placing individual points around the circular object I want to animate. Again, placing individual points to create a perfect circle is nearly impossible. My issue is the fact that the ad intimates the ease of creating a perfect circle when nothing could be further from the truth. It’s deceptive advertising in action and I won’t be renewing my subscription at the end of the year.

Good, just one little thing. Hi there, I just purchased the premium subscription to Motionleap because of one feature: the “Beatloop,” which I am using to create cool visualizations to promote my music. The audio visualization ability offered by Motionleap is amazing, and super user-friendly, which is exactly what I was looking for. However, I have one slight complaint, which is that the only way to import audio is by selecting a video. It would be much easier if I could simply choose a mp3 or wav from files to use with the beatloop, since it doesn’t use the video anyway. If they add the ability to import audio files directly, this would be an easy 5 star, because it is so easy to make things look SO good! Please, it would help same me a lot of time. My favorite features are the 3D camera effect, and the “harmonize” feature that allows most effects to sync to music. Overall amazing app, just the one complaint.

I think that some of the Pro policies are discouraging rather than encouraging to customers.. I understand a lot of the Pro items and that it can’t really be a totally free app. However, I think that it’s…. ridiculous that I can’t export things I might’ve made on the animate function. I think that, for me, the best solution would be making it so maybe I have to pay a dollar or two each time I want to export a video. Because a lot of what people have come to this app for is the animate function that they’ve seen on the internet, and it’s kind of discouraging to me rather than encouraging me to buy the Pro options. I wanted to create something and share it with others, but I can’t do so without the export function only coming with a business deal and an inability to screen record. I feel like, if I made something and I wanted to share it and didn’t have the Pro option, I would want to pay a dollar or two or three, and that would be that without buying a huge pack of benefits I don’t want. Thank you!

A complete disappointment and utter Disaster. I had the free version of this software since ‘19. I just this week decided to treat myself to the paid version because I thought I might enhance my super successful videos with some more tricks. Somehow I updated, perhaps I had to, I don’t remember, but the most unique and brilliant feature, which was the ability to manipulate the pixels in the animation, has been tragically dumbed down to a point that it’s utterly useless. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT. I would never have purchased the subscription and updated. That’s really the ONLY thing I need to use. Everything else you can get Anywhere else. What a shame….

Needs extreme amounts of work.. Is not Apple Pencil friendly. (Has serious lag in this area). Does not follow desired path. Inadequate masking feature. Lacks extreme precision. Extremely sloppy. Lacks multiple layering within animation packs. No add feature... what if I want to add 10,000 butterflies? I’m not able to do this. Some of the features are very nice and very well animated but not enough layering options. Correct me if I’m wrong and not doing something right. I do feel this app has an extreme amount of potential and I downloaded it for obvious reasons. I suggest taking a lesson from#superimpose app and how their masking tools work. They are a very precise tool and things should be done in this fashion. I definitely think that you guys would benefit from that me being a beta tester for this tool. I am an accomplished artist. I am using iPad Pro 12.9” with the Apple Pencil, of course. Your tools are not matched to qualify using with the Apple Pencil. As well I had to pay to see what this app and goes instead of getting a late version. This makes me extremely cautious in having to pay to use your video lab application in which I I am very interested in using for my artwork. Again I would love to beta-test for you guys I would definitely upgrade to five stars if you were to fix these options that I have listed.

Worth the Money for me... Very easy to use. Masking is not hard. You can zoom in for smaller details. Output is high quality. For me, 6 sec of 2k quality works best for Instagram. Love the lightning, rain, and fireworks overlays. Also, the fire element is totally dope. I used it on a ghost rider photo from the Long Beach Comic Expo. I’m having a blast using it. You can check out my malphotoz Instagram for proof. I have a desktop version of a much more expensive app, and I much prefer this. I love being able to do this all on my iPhone. Please keep adding overlays and elements. They are what really add to this. I purchased the one time price. Well worth the money IMHO. I have never left a better review for any other app. Keep up the great work!

Don’t waste time or money. First of all, I don’t like subscriptions- especially for one-trick-pony niche apps like this. The developers want $20 a year to add barely perceptible animations to your pics, like bobbing water or moving clouds. What?!? What you can accomplish with the free version of the app is laughably bad pseudo-animations that look cheap and/or silly. I assume the effects look much better if you subscribe, but what is my incentive to pay so much money for a subscription? True, one month is *only* $3.99- but I’d rather buy a coffee than animate clouds and water around grandpa. It sounds like your best deal is a $60(!!!) lifetime purchase BUT do no not put it past the devs to come up with Pixaloop 2 in two years for another $60. These are the same guys who made Enlight, after all (which I did purchase, and then it turned into a subscription-based app, rendering my original purchase pointless). If you look at all of their apps, every single one has a free or cheaper alternative without a subscription (like Snapseed or Pixelmator), or a subscription-based app (like Lightroom) that’s light-years ahead. It seems like Pixaloop is their most creative app, but a similar (but more realistic) effect can be had for free if you use a tripod and capture a Live Photo while everyone stands still for three seconds. Pass.

Here’s the thing. I love this app, but it has one major, decent sized problem... I got this app and loved it, in fact I loved it so much I decided to become a premium member for a year. Paid the $60 myself (I was like 12). Next year comes around and I don’t use this as much anymore, don’t get me wrong it was great and it was so much better like this. So I canceled my subscription. Well I was looking back at some of the animations I did using the premium options and non of them would load! See, I prefer if my animation is “live” as my phone calls it, because it has a better effect. Well the editors of this app know as well, so unless you pay premium you are not going to be able do that. Anyway, I realize now that after my subscription time was up this happened. Interesting isn’t it? I paid $60 so I could animate save live and when I go to look back at it, it won’t work! Now I could go back and do it again, but like I said, cant use live unless you are a premium member. That was a major reason I got it! So if I don’t keep paying, I won’t be able to see anything I ever do with the premium?! That’s seems unfair is really all I’m trying to say. 😕

Kind of good app...... When I opened this app I was excited and was hoping to make some cool videos and things like that. When I opened it up I was waiting quite awhile for this app to load. I went to go get some effects and I don’t want to mention but if your one of those people who HATE getting apps saying there free but then you have to get a subscription. I wasn’t to thrilled that half of the things I couldn’t use but I was still hoping that I could probably use a picture. I clicked on a picture then it froze and it kept on continuing. I exited it and went back in and I thought, maybe not. That’s just what I think of this app. I hope this is helpful to you.

Anchors, Multiple Overlays, More Elements. Hi guys at Lightricks! 1.) Can you pleeeeeease bring back the anchors. The option to use them is a great loss. You had way more control by not being tied down to only having the masking. Masking is tedious and time consuming. There are certain scenarios where it just downright doesn’t do the job. 2.) Sometimes I want to use more than one overlay, and it is not an option. Maybe at least two, if possible, would be awesome. Other software developers are starting to come out with apps similar to yours with better interfaces and more animation options. “Eh hem”…PLOTAVERSE. At the moment, to do what you can do in that app, you need both MotionLeap and VideoLeap. I realize you come at a much better price. I also don’t mind owning both and keeping them separate. However, it would be killer to have just a little more freedom “within” MotionLeap. 3.) Would be cool if you could add the option to maybe be able to purchase more elements, effects, and overlays like in Werble and other similar apps. I’d definitely be happy to give 5 stars if you could try and implement some of these changes. And bring some old stuff back. :)

Lost all my animations in my project file animations after update to animate tool. Update- customer support confirmed that animations done with the animate tool prior to the last major update are now gone. They reassured me I could do the same animations with the newly updated animate tools. This app probably has the most intuitive Ui out of all the cinemagraph apps I’ve tried so far. I was on the free version but I would pay for the one time app purchase just based on overall UX I’m still leaving a 1 star because I don’t see the point in having project drafts because you’ll lose any animations of any tools that have updated functionality like others have mentioned in their review and that’s a dealbreaker for me. I think there should be some feature added like a “read only” to projects drafts. An option to export as is for projects that have legacy tools that no longer exist or have been updated instead of completely removing animations from said projects. That sort of feature would get my purchase for premium features. I enjoyed animating with the free version of the app but I would rather just buy a cheaper app alternative at this point than buying premium to start over on older projects that would require premium features to animate

Amazing app. Just a minor thing.. I virtually have nothing bad to say about this app. I’m thoroughly satisfied. Just 1 (not so) minor thing though. When I first acquired it, the 3D features had no extra decorations to them (clouds, butterflies, etc). The latest update added them, and personally, I feel the 3D effects were MUCH better ‘without’ these elements. Would it be possible to rather allow the user to add these elements from within another setting option, rather than force them as component of all 3D effects? I’d like that change back to the initial style :)

Easy to use but...... Update: Contact support and they cleared it up. I did not need to purchase a app for separate devices. They not only addressed my concerns but responded with in an hour. The suggested worked perfectly and I’m on to my next project. The 2 star is only for the upgrade policy. The app was easy enough to use. I was able to upload, edit a photo, experiment with the tons filters and save to IG in a couple hours. I expect the next project to go much faster. But...I upgraded to pro from my phone and now need to purchase again to use pro on my tablet. So it’s a nice app but be aware if you want to use on multiple devices you’ll pay double.

No skills? No problem!. A long-time fan of the “original” Enlight photo editor, & a convert to Enlight Photofox, I was super excited when I saw they added an animation editor to the lineup! After using their photo editor(s) for about 3 years, I expected Pixaloop to be amazing, & they delivered. Its UI is so intuitive & friendly it borders on flirtatious! The layout/work canvas is crisp, clean & uncluttered. It has more tools/features than I could’ve asked for—plenty of options to create just about anything you dream up! There’s an especially large library of “effects”—light FX, pseudo camera movements, & a ton of overlays like rain, sparkles, fog, flames, butterflies etc etc etc! They’ve even expanded those sections/varieties since I first DL 👍 It’s enough to keep me interested & creating even after a year 😄 Very much an amateur to the graphic/digital arts, I’d never tried an animation app before; they appeared very technical & tedious. I knew Pixaloop would be that beginners-friendly program that can help even the most digitally &/or artistically illiterate create spectacular pieces 💕

Would really appreciate a bug to be fixed. Love this app and paid for the one year subscription, but last night as I was editing a photo for my social media page, I encountered an error that didn’t used to happen. :( The sky feature is upside down so the horizon comes from the top of the photo, and the brush/eraser size doesn’t work so I can’t do fine tuning. It’s just stuck at one size even if I adjust it. Would really appreciate a fix as this sky feature was working completely fine the past week 🙏🏻 I tried reinstalling the app but still nothing 😔

Slightly more control?. Love the app, very intuitive UI and was making content in <5min. As a new user I may just not know where to look, but is there an option to “mirror” an effect? For example, the weather effects - would love to be able to send the fog right to left, instead of left to right. And for the water, a slider to control the speed of the animation (slow down the waves to make more realistic). Lastly, a better UX for managing projects would be nice! (Select multiple projects to delete, mostly QoL). Love, New User

Unable to export projects with pro subscription on iPad - EDITED. I liked the free version of Pixaloop a lot so I upgraded to the paid one year pro version. It works fine on my phone, but when I am using it on my iPad (same Apple ID), it still tells me to upgrade and remove the pro limit. I should be able to use the app on both devices. I deinstalled and reinstalled the app, which makes it now possible for me to use the pro features on pictures (even though the app still displays the „pro only“ icon). But I am unable to export the projects in a better quality or in any format that is not supported in the free version. If I click „remove pro limit“ I am directed to the subscription screen, from where there is nowhere to go, because I don‘t want to subscribe double of course, plus, I get a pop up from Apple reminding me that I already subscribe to pro (which is correct). If anyone can help fix this, I would be grateful, because I‘m not wanting to pay for this and not be able to fully use it since I do most projects on my iPad. Updated on 7/5: There is actually a link underneath the subscription button saying „already paid?“ that allows one to put in your Apple ID password, I did not see that before, it is tiny, but it is there. I‘m still giving the app 4 stars because it could be a bit more up to date on weather/seasons and holidays when it comes to themes. It‘s July right now and it has rain overlays, fall leaves and haunted house themes. But otherwise I LOVE it!

Enlight Pixaloop. It’s like that other one—without all the social bloat! I went ahead and purchased for the one-time fee; it’s totally worth it. Pixaloop is so easy to use to animate your photos; plus, they are adding new (animated) elements and overlays all the time. Also love the ability to erase parts of the overlays (other similar apps don’t allow this). In addition, a beautiful selection of professional photos to use (Unsplash, probably) is provided within the app. My only request would be to please allow us to add more than one element/layer, thus upping the creative uses of this fabulous app. Highly recommended!

Nothing wrong, I just hate one thing in it.. The app is amazing overall, there’s only a problem in it. No glitch, nothing. I just dislike the fact that we have to pay for everything. Literally every single effect. I get you want to make money, and be successful. But making someone’s day worse and forcing them to pay isn’t a good way. I understand you’re being successful, but people want to have fun too. I don’t like the fact that almost all the effects are premium, I just wish this app made the effects free, since this app is amazing and great. And I’d be glad if you respond with a reasonable answer.

Love the App...could use more frequent updates. I truly like this app, and I purchased the pro for the one time fee. It’s a very cool concept and is pretty darn user friendly once you drill into it. My only issue/request is the content. For the amount charged, I do feel more frequent updates of content options would be great to see, specifically on the overlays and the elements that are available. For a while they seemed to at least change them up a little more frequently, but I haven’t seen one in a while. Weekly or monthly updates of available content would be the thing that would get me to a 5 star review. Aside from that, I enjoy the heck out of this app.

Nothing new. I love this app so much I got the subscription for a year but my problem is that for almost a whole year there hasn’t been any new effects or tools to use Especially for the holidays so I haven’t really been using the app lately. I just would like to see new effects on this app because I would really hate to cancel my subscription but I’m not gonna keep the subscription and I keep using the same effects that I been using and paying for for almost a year. My creativity is dying for some new effects and tools.

Disappointment. I was first introduced to this app at the Apple Store. I loved it and immediately got it on my device. The first thing that popped up when I opened the app was it asking me to get their Pro Pack for like six dollars a month. I closed out of it, and began to edit a photo. I was all of a sudden extremely disappointed to see that only a very VERY small number of filters, exporting options, and editing tools are available to you if you do not have the Pro Pack. I soon realized that the app at the Apple Store was a demo, therefore every filter was unlocked. So, basically, if you get Pixaloop and don’t pay for the Pro Pack, you are essentially getting just a preview of the app with the Pro Pack.😕 I really really wanted to love this app, which is why I put two stars instead of one. Sadly, I will most likely will be deleting it soon due to the fact that you have to pay (MONTHLY) for access to all of the filters. Also, you can get a one time purchase but it’s sixty dollars which I will NOT pay. The pro pack is probably worth about five dollars (maybe ten, but that’s pushing it) for a one time purchase.

Outstanding tools!. Literally for more than a year I have searched for an App for the iPhone or software for my Mac that would allow me to make some of the image modifications that this one App does. Download it, dive in taking as many risks with your images as you want, knowing that it is SO simple to reverse anything you’ve done that you then don’t like or that wasn’t what you were trying to accomplish. The features are rich (download the additional tools you want). MORE powerful than some graphics and photo editing Apps that are much more expensive!

Paywall Application. I downloaded this application to add some motion to a few photos of mine. When I originally downloaded this app, it gave you the choice of either paying a monthly subscription to add motion to photos or you could do so for free with a very limited set of tools and export options. While it was quite restrictive, it still produced good results with relative ease. Today I launch the app to animate a new photo only to discover it had updated and now all aspects of adding motion to photos is locked behind a subscription based paywall. You’ve taken an app that I enjoyed using and have changed it to lock what was once free to use. I hate it so much when apps do this and will be uninstalling it as a result. I can not recommend apps to people that do this. Please reconsider.

good... if you have the money. honestly this is a super cool concept. the idea of bringing photos to life within minutes is amazing, and I think it’s great that you’re letting us do this. however, only the basic features are for free. I played around with this app for several weeks before realizing it wasn’t really what I thought it was. this isn’t the only app like this, all the editing apps in the pack are. without paying, you can export it as a video, but not a live photo or gif. there are some big disadvantages to not paying. if you’re considering getting the app for fun, just know that it’s not close to it’s full marketed potential if you don’t pay.

Downgrade with each “update”. I’ve had this app since it was called Pixaloop. Loved it, and I used it every day mostly for the animation tool. Then a little while back you updated it and blocked the animation behind a paywall. I was super ticked from that firstly, but yknow what? I went and bought your extremely overpriced full version. No biggie. But now?? You remove all of the advanced tools in the latest update! Why did you feel the need to do that? I regret updating this app. I relied so much on those tools, and now they’re so simplified it boggles me how you thought it was a good idea. If there was a way to get back my money I would. Please, please listen to the other reviewers when we say we want those advanced tools back. I will be looking for other apps in the meantime. I hope I get a response as to why this decision was made and if you guys will be rolling back on that decision.

Terrible update. You seriously made it where to use animate you have to go pro? This is ridiculous and never should have changed. Garbage app. I don't even see the option where you could loop the pictures to move a certain way. Taken off I guess considering I've seen subscribers complain in the reviews. Whoever had that idea needs a mental evaluation if they honestly thought that was a good idea. Don't even bother replying with "email customer service" and claiming that this app is "free", because it's not, and that's simply untrue and you know it. You have to pay now to use any good features in this app, so now it is virtually useless. There's no point in anyone using the app at this point. You literally can't do anything on this app now. You took away the only good part because you're ✨greedy✨. You baited us to update saying you added free elements and stuff. Lol do you think that makes up for what you took away or something? Will be deleting this shoddy app. Thanks a lot, god-awful developers.

Eh.. I used to love editing with this app for introductions on my roleplay page on Instagram. Sadly, that all went down when they made us pay for almost all the features, including the animated ones. There are barely any effect and animation tools you can use for this app anymore. Since i didn’t want to pay any money for this (considering that I don’t have any money), I decided to screen record it. HOWEVER, this alien figure popped up on the screen and told me to pay for the pro. I’m really frustrated with this app, and it makes me incredibly furious knowing that I have to basically pay to get the best features. I’m honestly on my urge to delete this app because of this.

Could be Better. So I would love to give this app five stars however it’s lacking variety and with so many motion graphics available I feel like it’s lacking options-and I’m a little stumped on your animation tutorial that is within the app it shows the brush selection as feathered so it doesn’t have to be so defined on edges of what you’re trying to select or deselect and when I go to use the animation tool it has a rough defined edge that makes it look really stupid when you try to animate so those are my complaints I think that there is tremendous potential for this app but you need to widen your capacity, options and variety of elements

This app WAS great.. I got this app a while back and I loved it. Later though I started to forget about it and slowly stopped using it. I never had the premium because I could easily animate the images and add cool effects. When I came back to the app recently I noticed how the animate option was no longer free. This is really annoying to me because the only reason I had this app was to animate my images in the advanced way that this app offered me. But no, the developers had to make this feature premium now. This app is now pointless and is just like any photo editor out there. If you are seeing this and are confused either because you don’t agree or this problem has been address. Don’t worry I’m aware that this problem might have been solved by the time you read this.

It’s pretty good!. I recommend this app! There’s not too many premium features which is nice! I only have one complaint, you can’t export with the premium! This is really upsetting. And I feel you need to realize not everyone can pay for things like that. If you could just make that one feature non premium I would really appreciate it! Have a great day and stay safe. Update: There is a way to export it!! You just cannot have any pro features on the photo! But if you wanted the pro features I guess you could either pay or you could just screenshot it!

Latest Update. This is has been one of my favorite apps for the last several years and I have paid membership. I used it almost every day... until the latest update. No disrespect, but I am extremely disappointed about the changes made after this last update. Every feature that I used before is no longer there. No pins, no freeze, no bounce option... I have not been able to use the app since and it’s extremely frustrating. However, I’m still going to give a good rating because I have a paid subscription to several other apps by Lightricks that I absolutely love and use on the daily. I hope Lightricks will consider adding back the previous features to this app because I can’t use it the way it is, and I’ll have to cancel my subscription.

Getting boring and the AI? Meh. I’ve used this app for several years and loved it to make some great designs. Honestly, though? For $60 a year, you’d think you’d offer more elements, more overlays, effects, skies, water, etc. This app hasn’t changed since I first used it. Now? AI portion is awful. I can go on Discord and do incredible things with Midjourney this app can’t even touch. I barely use the photo apps in this package. I would only subscribe to one or two, but your hard sell nagging me while trying to use an app of yours I paid for is just rotten business practice. I finally signed up for the whole package just to get your pop ups to stop, but I won’t this year. The value just isn’t worth it. It’s like you’ve grown bored and tired of your own wonderful apps. I wish you would offer just Videoleap and Motionleap. Photoleap, Artleap, and Lightleap are worthless. They are never updated, either. You’re going to lose a long-time customer this next year. Sad but I don’t think you care.

For developers. We love your app especially the animations it offers (our main reason using it). It’s also intuitive and easy to use. As someone who use the app on daily basis I think it would be beneficial to provide a few things to improve as this app has tremendous potential that I would be willing to pay more if only the app has more extras and freedom to personalize. 1. More animations regularly or having some cloud where to buy/download/add more (sand, succulents, palm trees, clouds, sky, moon, sun… nature in general). 2. Freedom to move animation from one point to another. (Example moving moon from bottom to top). 3. Allow changing colors of animation item? (I guess that would be hard but thought I mention it) 4. , In app photo editor w layers (we are aware u have another photo editor but it would be cool to edit in an app. At least some basic like layers and colors.

Actual review: Cool app that needs a strategy.. It’s a fun little animation app. A cool way to take some social media posts up a notch. Here is the big problem.... If I am rating this app as a little fun photo app I would give it 5 stars. I would even pay a single .99 or maybe 1.99 fee for a pro version and recommend it to my friends. However, the problem is they are charging like this is an Adobe product. The monthly fee is absolutely silly for an app this featureless. It’s a fun little product that totally missed in the monetization method. I see this going one of two ways. Either add a mountain of continually expanding features, think Adobe products, or make this a one time .99 fee for the “pro” version. Otherwise, I guarantee most people will do what I do. Play with the very limited version for a week or so and never use it again. The devs built a cool little app. It would be sad to see it fade because of a poorly thought out compensation strategy.

WAS good but now... not so much. I absolutely LOVED this app when I first got it. However, I am not one of those people who pay for apps on their phone, so I got the free version. After a while I offloaded it because I wasn’t using it as much. One day I went to go use it again and when I tapped on the animate option I was so disappointed to see that I now had to pay for it. I firmly believe that ruined my experience with this app. I think that the other options are great... but the animation is what sets it apart. The other options merely accent the animate option. Suggestion For Better Experience. Your app looks nice and professional. However there are so many rip off apps, users are hesitant to click on anything with a subscription. I did not purchase your product due to the following two reasons. To allow users to have a great experience before purchasing or subscribing I would suggest the following: 1. You have easy access to purchase but not unsubscribe. This looks suspicious. Add unsubscribe button. Not that hard. 2. Like many users, I load apps when I see it advertised. I do a few things and then plan on doing the review later. When I finally get around to it the trial has expired. Suggestion: Give the user a couple of stock pictures and access to all the tools. This allows them to see how and if the product works as advertised. If they are comfortable, they would purchase.

It’s would be good if it work. It’s really easy to make creations and stuff and I love the all I made like 10 different pictures the problem is I can’t make no more A week ago I try to make a picture and it looks like the best one I made so far I try to export it to my photos and it didn’t work!!!! I kept trying all day I even lower the quality to see if it would work then but it still didn’t. I thought maybe if I delete some of my pictures in my gallery and the photos in my project thing but it still didn’t work. I been trying every day but no matter what I do it won’t work. I spent money on this app just for it to not work after I try it. Maybe it’s a update or something but it’s not working

This apps great it has a reasonable amount of free stuff available for my broke pockets to use but... 💁‍♀️ w h y do you keep changing the way 3-D motion overlays work without telling me about it?! I was working on this project and I was on my way to use the f r e e 3-D motions available for me I realize “huh, the overlays have to be paid for? Ok I’ll just remove them!!” .... but you updated it ... and You literally did not tell me how to remove the overlays from the 3-D motion . Now listen, I most likely don’t make a lot due to my lack in IQ but, can you please just n o t do this all of a sudden? If you don’t want it to be free anymore, y’know what that’s fine but w h y do you not give actual updates of the crucial changes like this one?! 😩 (edit: yeah no you just completely ruined the app I’m out bro 💃🏿)

Stop Changing the Interface & Return Element Visibility. 2nd Update: Omg, please stop ruining the app with your “improvements”. Why did you mess with the Sky layers? It was great before, but now you can’t control the sky’s overlay color strength and there’s no way of controlling the transparency either. Just return everything to it’s original way of operation. This app just keeps getting more difficult to work with. 1st Update: I wish you would stop messing with the app design. Every change that has been made in the last few months was a hit and miss. I wish it would go back to the original design and layout. —— Previous review: While I love the app, this version is really not good. You can’t see the number of layers in the Elements section and that means having to tap on screen over and over until you stumble on the element you need to adjust. Fix, please.

Neat concept, too expensive, should be able to buy individual features. This app is a really cool concept, and goes perfectly with Live Photos, but unfortunately you can't export to Live Photos without paying $20 a year or $60 once. Without that, it's really not worth using at all. Videos are so much less convenient to glance at in the photo album, while Live Photos were pretty much made for this app! If there was an option to buy an individual feature for a few dollars, such as the Live Photo export, or a certain filter you wanted, that would be a lot more palatable of an expense. You'd definitely have my purchase! As it is though, I likely will only use the app once or twice, then forget about it as a random novelty.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. If you can remember a children’s book series called ”Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” with the nightmare-fuel cover illustrations? All of this app’s AI-created people look like those illustrations, except full color this time instead of just creepy pencil drawings. Anything I ask it for comes back with people that look like they got pulled out of a burning car. I’ve tried rewording things. I’ve been specific. I’ve been non-specific. I’ve been patient. I’ve prayed over it, and I mean I’ve actually pleaded with God to accept the souls of the AI creations I’ve made with this app as I’ve swiped past them, because I feel guilty for bringing them into their brief and tortured existence. Seriously, this was not ready to be unleashed onto the public. OR: you guys could repackage this thing, exactly like it is, as a horror-themed AI-image creator. Any prompt returns something scary, no matter how innocent you try to make it. You just don’t tell anybody you made it by accident, and start raking it in. Jumpscare by Lightleaks.

Very satisfied & then really disappointed.... I’ve been working on a project with a lot of moving pieces, for weeks now & I just opened the app to work on it some more... and BAM!! You guys made the “animate” pro! It was not “pro” a couple of weeks ago... I even exported some creations that were “animated”... I’m so upset about this... You can’t just give something and then in the middle just take it away! You know, I absolutely love your editing apps and use them religiously, but this is low... I understand making some of the overlays and fancy effects pro, but the option to select and put into motion should be given! It’s the main attraction of the Motionleap app! Like I said I love your apps, and I refer people to them all the time, but at this moment in my life, I cannot afford to pay the monthly fees... Please I’d truly appreciate it if you could make the “animate” option “not pro”. Thank you!

Neat. First, the idea of the app is neat, but I will be deleting the enlight Pixaloop application as you have no option to export or save the animated picture to my photos (I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max). With that being said I don’t want to upgrade to pro but in order to save any animated photo, you have to upgrade? This is not good user experience. I would charge money for the “pro” upgrade options and at least make it so the basic version can save the photo? Second, get a hyperlink added to your “contact us” option at the bottom of your HELP section, so users can be directed to their email with your email link attached. At least remove the “Pro” words above the options so it doesn’t lead users to believe they can save the photo or upload to Instagram for free.

Downgraded on update. I recently just updated the app and lost over half of all moving elements, lost most all the sky overlays. Lost more then half of the effects. It downgraded a whole bunch of features I once had before. I bought a yearly subscription for this app and am shocked that so much has been removed from it from what you once could do before… If you have this app and paid for a yearly subscription I highly recommend not to update it because you will lose everything you created and all of its previous features. I will be canceling my subscription. It used to be a very good app now it’s limited in the things you can do to make your pictures or art into something special.

I used to like this app. This app was pretty cool the past couple years. I made some cool art. However the app developers decided to get greedy and start charging for the animate effect. That was the only reason I used the app and now I feel like they are charging way too much just to animate the picture. I don't need any of the other effects or care to use them so this would be a huge waste of money for something that was previously free to use. Why not just add new effects and tools and charge for those instead of taking things away and holding them for ransom? Ridiculous. I will be deleting it now. Greedy people always mess up a good thing.

Psh. Sure, this app is neat. Moving pictures are pretty. Unfortunately, the impossibly short free trial period for the full app is pretty obviously designed to screw you out of $20 dollars (a year subscription). An app with users in mind would at the very least default to a monthly one ($3.99). Better yet, it wouldn’t rely on counterintuitive design to trick users into losing money at all. There should be information on how to unsubscribe IN the app! I shouldn’t have had to dig through reviews to find answers. And before I get the canned response from the developer about contacting you at any time with questions - I DID. Nobody responded, and something tells me if I’d waited for you to get around to me it would have conveniently happened after y’all charged my account. ✌🏼

Bring back the anchor points!. I used to LOVE this app and recommended it to my students, but I was sad to discover that with updates you’ve removed the option to add anchor points. It really limits the kinds of actions you’re able to do. Please bring them back! (My review would be 5 stars with the option of anchor points!)

Amazing. Absolutely amazing app, can create the most beautiful scenery in a single touch, however it does cost money but compared to what it offers I’d say it’s well worth it. An incredible app!

So dodgy. I trialed this app for not even a day. Then I found something better so I deleted it. Now the app developer is charging me $98. I can’t even see the app on my active subscriptions list, or in my purchased history. It’s like it’s never even been downloaded, so how can I be subscribed to it?? Or a better question, how do I unsubscribe??? I can’t even find it ?!?!!!

Great animation app. Lots of clear instructions and intuitive functions makes this app easy to use. I downloaded the free version to try out which is of course limited. I will probably get the premium version as it has worked so well.

Cancelling Subscription. It’s a good App but I’m not going to get enough use out of it so want to cancel my automatic subscription. It’s not obvious how to do it and the one explanation I saw was too short hand for me to even comprehend what they were on about. Why not just put an unsubscribe button in the App? The developers should have more confidence in their product. If I’m not told in plain English how to unsubscribe I’ll have to resort to cancelling through my bank, a complete pain!

Bundles..?!$. The one star rating is specifically for the price point of the Lightrick apps. I have used 3 or 4 of them, and all are fabulous in their own right, truly excellent, HOWEVER, there are way too many of them, a lot should be merged / migrated to make one single app instead of having to fork out so much money across multiple apps… they are confusing. I was excited to see that they had been bundled, but upon starting to download some that I didn’t already have, realised that there was no reduction in price for the bundle! Just greedy. So I have uninstalled all now, and cancelled my Pixaloop(or Motionleap I think it’s now called) subscription. Really disappointed. It’s all about keeping your customers these days, not ripping them off more.

Amazing app but just one thing. Hi lightricks I honestly think your game is great but the pro thing you need to buy is really annoying. You only get a couple of things in each section and even though the app is great I think you should add more things in each section for the people who don’t have the pro thing. Motionleap. I love using this app really good effects only thing is I feel like they charge people to much to use the actual app maybe would be good to make it easier but lowering the price other then that it’s a really good app for art

Great game but subscription trap. I’ll start with the good bits. Great app overall, and I had wanted it for a while, so mum let me get it. Now the not so good part. I was on my 4th I think photo. I had not used anything from the pro version, hadn’t gone over any of the limits. I looked up to the top of my screen, just about to export it. Boom. There it was. Remove pro limitations. Hadn’t done anything for pro. Please fix this. Overall great game. Some things, I didn’t even think back and say, oh! I wish it was a video! I just thought it would look nice with some movements. Good and bad. This app is really good, especially when you want to add a small effect to an image, but it is really limited when you don’t have the pro version. I unfortunately can’t get the pro version so it’s a slight inconvenience having limited editing tools. But otherwise this is a great app, if you can get the pro version i completely recommend it.

Automatically deduct another lump sum? Come on be generous to the ppl who are willing to fork out real cash for your apps instead of downloading the cracked version for free

Too little for too much. In a world where competition is fierce, this app under delivers and over charges for what it gives. Definitely try it out but there are plenty of other places to prioritise that amount of money before this is worth it for me.

I used to love it. I love this app, I used to use it all the time. But now you can barely edit anything at all without having to pay. I used to have all the apps downloaded from this places, they where all really good but now I can barely do anything. I wish you could give us more free things or I would much rather ads on the app and you can get money from ads and pay to remove them or something. All the features are really good it’s just now you can’t do anything at all without paying.

Why the change?. Motionleap is by far one of the best apps I’ve ever used. I’ve been a pro-user since almost day one, and I’ve used Motionleap through all its iterations, to create the promotional content for my games in development. However, why the recent big change to the ANIMATE mechanics, I cannot understand. Is it to make it simpler for more users? If so, I think that was a mistake. Particularly, getting rid of the Anchor Points. The new, and simpler, system just cannot match the versatility of the Anchor Points, especially in locking down specific focus points in an animated zone, and subtly influencing the animation area in order to prevent artefacts where colours and textures vary dramatically. I would even go so far as to ask for access to the older version (the latest one with Anchor Points), if possible. Without that feature, I’ve been left constantly trying to figure out ways to do what I could easily achieve before. You are doing great, but please, PLEASE bring Anchor Points back. I am sure your casual audience will not bother, and I can guarantee you, your pro audience will be grateful.

Not Impressed. Impossible to cancel subscription, I downloaded as a free trial, didn’t like the app as it was quite difficult to use so I deleted it. I check my bank account only to see I’ve been charged almost $31 - it’s a scam and a rip off. I’ll be fighting to get my money back, don’t download this app unless you’ve got money to burn. Because now I’m left with nothing until I can have my claim processed by either the App Store or the Commonwealth Bank.

Disappointed have used this app for over 12 months. App was great at first would give five stars. However, a recent change in tools available and motion effects it is very poor now. Not everyone wants to use the same motion effects bring back the old motion or least have it there as an option for those who do not want what their animating turning into fluttering mess with important points on a subject disappearing and reappearing as the motion takes effect! Also as mentioned bring back the anchors! Will be uninstalling if this is not fixed!

Unbelievably Amazing. I was blown away at how easy it is to use with the simple interface, and also how FREE everything is!! There is, of course, “Pro” features you can pay extra for, but for the amount of features you can still use for free it’s definitely worth the download. These days apps ask you for so much money just to do simple things, but this offers the main elements for free and I’m so happy about it!!

I was prepared. This app grabbed my attention.I read the reviews first and noticed a lot of comments about inadvertent subscriptions. So I was prepared when I downloaded it a short while ago. When app is first opened there is a few screenshots with quick explanation how things work then you click the lets start button which opens the app...or so it seems. Upon closer inspection its a cleverly disguised page for the unwary,click anything on this page and you enter a monthly subscription...it is not the start of the app. Look carefully top left for the “x” to close the page..then you have the proper app beginning(the free version) Shame on the developers for this little sneaky ploy( no matter what developer says the intention to catch subscriptions is clear),also shame on Apple for letting this slip through . Now to try out the app! And hopefully improve the rating

A company that listens to the customer. I thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to my suggestion. It is truly a privilege to be able to get companies to be willing to take on board suggestions and thereby providing change. Your products are indeed quality technology and I look forward to using them and supporting your company for a long time, along with new and improved apps.

Annoying/ useless. There is no how to do any single thing without pay. And not happy with that it keep asking to upgrade for premium in every single movement. I completely understand that they have to make money but how can I pay for something that I don’t even know if it works if it’s good. I’m really happy to buy premium version as long as it’s fair and useful but this is not the case just time waster.

Load Latency. It seems like an amazing app, but I'm unable to use it, as it loads for about a minute, then the app crashes. It does this every time, even after I deleted it and re-downloaded. Also, whenever I open the app to try again it shows an offer for Premium which disappears each time after about two seconds. Once it's disappeared, the whole screen turns black, then, as I said, after roughly a minute, the app crashes. Like I said; to me, it seems like an amazing app, but I'm fairly ticked off about this reoccurring glitch. I'm not sure if you're able to do something about it, but if you could, I would greatly appreciate it.

No use. I use this app only for the animation. And now I have to pay to get it. I hate this new update and I have deleted the app because of it. If you are going to have subscriptions then make something else. Don’t add it to anything that didn’t have it in the 1st place. I will never use this app again now unless they make the animation bit free. I simply can not afford it and it was something I did a lot in my free time. Now I have nothing to day and I am bored.

UPDATE: Always living in hope that developers come to their senses and restore what used to be working so well, I now find that in order to use the app I have to create an account first. No thank you, too many pitfalls - why can’t the app be used without an account? It is not that I don’t have the accounts that you offer for login, it is that I don’t want to have to login. But clearly there is no longer ANYTHING free here anymore. Oh for the days when greed was not a driving force…

So much fun editing. I bit the bullet & decided to pay for 12 month subscription to this app. It has been so much fun to play around with the different effects & bring our photos to life. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes to play with pictures & social media :)

Great app simple problems. Great app, easy to use on iPhone, unfortunately when you go to use it on an iPad it recognises that you have paid the subscription yet won’t unlock the sky and water features for use. Won’t be renewing for this reason, no point paying for features I can’t access

Amazing but ruined with Subscription model. I tried this app even bought a full month subscription for it. With it I made some superb stuff and posted them on Social media (don’t believe me checkout wanda_ross1365 on insta). The app is impressive but when you ask me to subscribe and for an app that I may use once or twice a week for 20 min it alienates me more than encourages. I rather shell out $50 and own the app rather than be forced to sub. As long the sub model is there then I’m out. All their app follow the same model unfortunately. So allow me to purchase the app rather than subbing and you gained a loyal customer as I do love the app.

Excellent, easy to use - fabulous results!. LOVE this app! Saw the effects on someone’s photos on Insta and have been looking for it... so glad I found it! The only criticism I have is when “freezing” an area, a finer point would be useful - other than that love it!

Pro. I’ve had the app for a while now and I liked it for the most part... until the most recent update. The whole reason I got the app was for the ‘path’ feature, which was free until now. It is really annoying that you are locking everything behind a paywall, even features that were previously free. I owned (and still own) the original Enlight app, the only app without features locked behind a paywall, and it’s sad to see what the company is becoming, purposely limiting functionality and previously free features for a quick buck

Great but.... To save your animated photo you have to buy pro and I really don’t like that so can you please make it so that at least 2 or 3 saves you don’t need the pro. Thanks for reading this. And if any parents are reading this... don’t let you kids have this. It is horrible. Just saying if you try screen recording it an alien pops up on your screen and interrupts it so don’t do that. Typing in AI is a nightmare!. As you type in the window, the fonts rotate around so there’s a glitch somewhere there. When it works, it works great, but lately I can’t seem to type anything without the words coming out all jumbled. I also hate the fact that when you try to save an AI image, you’re not only saving the one with the logo on it, but you then when you switch to turn the logo off and you can save that but you’ve got two of the same image wasting space on your phone. when you purchase the product which I clearly have, I don’t want the logo anywhere visible on there whatsoever! That’s why I’m paying! I shouldn’t have to save it with the logo and then be able to disable the logo to save it without it. It should just be automatic.🤦‍♀️

Unsubscribe. Hi I’ve been trying to unsubscribe and stop paying for this app that I no longer require. I can’t find a way to do it anywhere. Please assist me immediately.

Brilliant App!. I trialed it over a month ago and absolutely loved it - purchased shortly after. It’s my go-to App whenever I want to take my static digital signage images to whole new level. Love the recent CNY overlays which’ll be perfect for next week!

not so great after recent upgrade :(. I really liked Motionleap but after recent upgrades to animation module (that removed a lot of useful animation options) it is not really easy to animate so I am looking for a news software. By the way contacted their software support and here is what they said: "Thanks for following up and sharing your feedback. User satisfaction is very important to us and we value hearing about your experience with the new Animate tool. Although we don't plan to revert the changes we made, we'll definitely take your input into account when working on further improving the tool."

Not that stoked. Brought the app, played with it a bit, very easy to use. In the app itself the image quality looks amazing, but once uploaded to social media it drastically looses quality making what was a breath taking image not so great. On instagram it does after 4 or so seconds upgrade the quality a little, but by then users will potentially have scrolled past, having not been impressed immediately 😞

Auto-renew subscription trap. Tried everything to work out how to cancel the auto subscription. It’s nowhere in the app. Not an online login. Not in the app store as far as I can find. Anything making it this hard to cancel a subscription to is really suspicious. It’s a good app and there’s no need to trap subscriptions. I’ve had to email the developer to try and work out how to get off the train, which is just ridiculous. After contacting the company Pixaloop support emailed me a link to apple iTunes subscription directions to unsubscribe. If you’ve never used iTunes for subscription services before, good luck finding it. Directions to get off should be easy to find. A cancel option in the app even better. Clearly they don’t want it to be easy.

Crazy app. Would give five stars because This is the best app for promotional material but…. I do not understand the change to get rid of being able to use full audio clips from music imported from videos. Now I have to take an extra 8 steps in editing and import videos into other apps. Just have an import audio function and it would be so much easier. This is just sad

Just Fantastic. This app blows me away how real it makes the best photos I’ve taken just come to life. The different setting and options is just wonderful. What an app , it’s a great addition to any one who loves photos 10/10

Cancelled due to the motion leap logo being in every image and not able to remove.. Cancelled subscription after a year because the motion leap logo is in every single image . A huge logo which covers a large part of the left side corner. Contacted support to have this removed yet nothing has happened. It’s still there. I can’t use images with a giant logo on them.

Good but…. It is a cool app I love to make water flow but you can only do a few things without premium and you can’t even screen record without buying premium it’s sooo annoying! It would be great if you could have more things without buying. it would also be really good if could make things move up and down too.

Love this. I really love this app but there are way too many things for premium. Whenever I want to create something I am very limited and I end up just using the same things over and over again. I would rate this five stars if it had more options for premium.

Fantastic App but needs new content updates.. I really love the versatility of this app and have used it for several years now to create animated content as part of my graphic design services for clients. Unfortunately I’ve noticed that new overlays, elements and features are not being added anymore and this has created a situation where it’s becoming unusable due to a lack of fresh options. As a creative I can’t keep using the same things over and over, I need new and expanding libraries to work on a range of subject matter. Interested to hear from the developers if there are plans for any future updates or if Motionleap has reached its final point of evolution?

Now you have to have a subscription. I got this app when you didn’t need a subscription for the basics of animating and saving work. I used it for lots of great social media posts for my business, I loved it. On opening it back up after not using it for a long time I was very disappointed to find nothing can be done without subscription now. How times have changed... Edit after developers reply: I beg to differ! The animate tool - the only one I want to use, and the export function are both marked Pro only. This was not the case before.

C’mon Guys. I used to love Pixaloop, but the latest update ruined it. Now you can’t even make paths or animate without paying for premium. Completely ruined. Before, it was pretty fun and easy to use. I noticed the app was getting pretty money-hungry recently anyways, taking some things previously free and making them premium-only, but this is too far. C’mon guys. Don’t force your users to pay for things that should be in the basic pack.

Am I imagining this?. I'm confused as to why I can't use any of the non-pro features, when I was able to use them in the beginning. Other comments point to this not being a free app, which, if that's the case, makes sense; what doesn't make sense is why the app, rather than alert me that I need to upgrade, just does nothing. Hence the low rating.

App was awesome, until about 3 days ago. I have the subscription and this app worked great. Then just went to do another edit and 2/3 of edit tool are gone. I tried to remove it and reinstall the app and still same and not only that, lost my edited clips I had in the app. Need to get clips to clients and can’t. Need to get this fixed asap and compensated for this.

Add and improve AI features to motionleap please. Add features from beatleap to Motion Leap, add animations and beat syncing features like kaiber Ai, Leonardo Ai and genmo Ai. Add ability to also upload gif images or mp4 videos and edit in motionleap, etc.

lack of animate options. as fun as i think using this app is to animate images, i unfortunately do not have all of the animate options :( the only ones that are available for me to use are select and direction, making me unable to anchor my images to make the animation smoother. this is an issue quite a few people are having !

Suddenly having issues. I have always loved and renewed this rare subscription, lately however, when I try to save my animations I get a ‘Cancelled’ error and I cannot tell why. Anyone else experience this? Also, I would prefer if when I click save, it saves without your logo if you are a subscriber. I end up having to save a second time after turning off the logo. Makes for a lot of cleaning up my saved images later.

Disgusting use of AI. App has started to use AI; stealing from artists for a chance at money. No use for an app like this.

Scam. Don’t get this app is it a scam waiting to happen! I downloaded the app and to save your video you have to pay for pro which costs more then Disney plus!!!! Not the best anymore. It used to be one of the best app, and not not anymore. The free features are nothing special anymore, they used to have very cool motion graphic feature fit free. Very sad to say bye to the app

Animating costs money. Overall the app is fine except for the fact that now I can’t export a simple animated image into my camera role. The fact that it can only stay in my « project » list is a disappointment. 3 out of 10 to be honest

Can’t export without paying!. Even when using the free effects, it doesn’t let you export your video without paying to “remove pro limit”. What’s even the point then? This used to be free but for some reason they changed the name and put up a paywall. Why not just make it a paid app instead of trying to swindle people who download it expecting it to be free and are left utterly disappointed? In-app purchases will be the death of us all.

Good. It’s great! Fun effects, easy to use. The only thing that got them 3 stars is that they have removed an option to save it on my devise or even share it. You have to pay pro for that. Used to be free. And people get used to free staff

Worst subscription design. You guys have done a very poor job of making it clear that you just go in and unsubscribe after deleting the app that it still will charge you’re account after deleting your poorly designed application from my phone almost instantly it turns out that a month later(today) it charged me $20 without a single heads up that I would be getting charged. Learn how to make a better system so you stop stealing people’s money. Considering that I can see that almost all of you’re reviews are people complaining that you designed a app built to just take my money. You should refund everyone who complained about being charged because there was no way to unsubscribe. Worst application ever made.

Very cool app. I don’t usually write reviews , but you guys have impressed me yet again with an awesome app! Keep up the good work! And for anyone who’s a little skeptical of whether or not you should download , you can animate photos in the free version as advertised on Instagram; which is tons of fun, and when you’re done with your projects it gives the options to save into your camera roll and to also post your project on social media! Totally recommend this app , 10/10 !

Amazing projects fast and simple. I created several beautiful animated pictures for Instagram in a minutes. And it’s easy and fun. Usually I don’t have a nerves to learn a photo redact apps, but this one so simple - I loaded, opened and started to do a project immediately and in first 5 minutes I had fantastic video from a standard photo. It’s not free, but it worth several bucks for the fun and profit you’ll have. Guys, you are amazing and thank you for this app! P.S. I wish I can change the speed of sky movement )

Effects are amazing. This is a powerful program. Very fun game o work with. The UI has a couple of bugs going back menus and I would like to be able to add multiple overlays. The water feature is not very intuitive to me as it causes pictures that a really have water in them to move, if you want to add water like to a picture of the desert go to elements. All that said it is a blessing to be able to work with such powerful software

Amazing. 4 stars only because it’s not as completely intuitive as I would like it to be. It took some googling to read up on how best to utilize this app, but once I did I was able to immediately make some pretty incredible images. Works best if your photo already contains part of an object or scenery that would normally “move” in real life—but, that being said, it’s also cool to see motion on something that would normally be static. Slowing the motion down adds drama, and the optional overlays for things like a gentle snowfall are just artistically wonderful. This is FUN.

Wow. This application is great video leap suite has done it again.. sometimes you don’t need a complex program to do when is to be done, especially in the day and age where things need to be done very fast I was able to create an NFT/animated image within an hour if I was to do the same process on after effects it surely would’ve taken longer. So glad to have incorporated This tool as part of my business.

app problem why not full features unlock. I am using the paid version of your app already. Now when after editing the video, I am trying to save it says it is for paid version only but when I have already paid yearly fees, why am I getting this option and it doesn't save the video. Also, when i go to paid section, it says already paid. So why am i facing this problem please help and resolve this issue, asap.

Love this app!. I’ve used this app now for quite some time and absolutely love it! I use this for instagram creations and the animations/effects options are so abundant. I can create very advanced looking animations with this app. Also the user interface is so intuitive and easy to use. I’ve downloaded other similar apps that are like learning to speak a foreign language. I don’t write many reviews but Pixaloop is a total winner!

Don’t buy MotionLeap, buy Photoleap instead. Lightricks Apps have an identity crisis. I own several including this one and Photoleap. Recently, they added motion to Photoleap, which already has more features than this one. I don’t really know why this app exists anymore. Don’t waste your money on this one when Photoleap is better, has the same motion features, and more! Lighttricks needs figure out the identity and need for their lineup of separate apps more clearly, and perhaps take certain ones off the market all together, such as this one.

Awesome app, wish there was a macOS version. This is a super fun and intuitive app. Lots of options and easy to use. My only point of contention is I would like to use this on a professional level. I can’t find any plugins or extensions for photoshop or after effects or a version that is usable on a MacBook Pro. I’m a professional artist and photographer and I would love to use this on full scale high res images

More choices please!. I have been using this for my Instagram posts for about a year now and love it! My main issue is that there aren’t enough choices or variations of Elements. There are only a 8 animals to choose from. I use these a lot to bring sweetness and humor. Where are the zoo animals like elephants and giraffes? Also, the choices of beatloops are pretty limited. Not every photo calls for party music. Please add more choices!

First day at scam school.. What an awesome photo editing app! I thought to myself as I navigated the features becoming acquainted with their uses. As I finished my first project, I was thoroughly impressed and eager to save and share this little bit of photo art. That’s when I realized you have to pay to move anything out or off the app itself. WOW! What is it for, practice? I was actually gonna upgrade to pro just for the features that would be unlocked, but after the realization that this was simply a pathetic attempt at a classic bait and switch, shell game scam, I decided to remove every app from this company and look for one of the many alternatives that do not try and employ confidence game tactics. SMDH

Amazazing!!!. I have only had this app for 48 hours and have used it only a handful of times but I’m absolutely fascinated. I can see so many ways to apply this to my painting and jewelry and photography hobbies. It didn’t take me long to buy the app and know that I can use this to its full extent as long as I want! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Frustrating. I love what the app can do with the pictures BUT you can’t do anything without purchasing some kind of a subscription. So I went ahead and I did the monthly one but it is NOW allowing me to export to any of my other apps like Facebook or Instagram. It does have a box that says contact us but I click on it and nothing happens, It tells me to set up an email but gives me no places to do it! So I have no way to get any help for this app! And it’s a shame because the app itself is pretty cool but there is no way to get customer service to explain how to import it to Facebook or Instagram, and you have to pay to be able to use it.

Pretty much pointless to install.. I installed this in hopes of making my own live wallpaper and possibly some extras for fun. I’ve come to find out that you can’t use said feature unless you are a premium member, so I payed for premium. My subscription then recently ran out and I thought I could keep my live wallpapers but instead what happened was the wallpapers wouldn’t load. It is interesting considering they stopped working as soon as my subscription was over. It seems unfair and honestly kind of like a scam because you have to pay monthly or with an outrageous $70 permanent purchase to keep the wallpapers or photos you have made. Just don’t get it it’s not worth the time, effort, or money.

App is great and fun but PLEASE READ DEVELOPERS. Love the app enough to buy it, and I don't usually buy things like this so that shows how great it is. The app is very simple to use and powerful. Some things I wish will be implemented in the next update are; 1) users can adjust cloud speed 2) add more elements & increase the amount of elements you can have on one project, currently it's four 3) would love to have more natural motion fx and slower motion speeds, currently the slowest option is still pretty fast 4) have sway option for the animate button, maybe they can put it in the directions menu. This will be helpful to use on trees to make them look live and moving with the wind. This can also be used on hair! It would be fantastic to have and I hope it comes soon if the developers will read this

Early Days. Given the high bar raised by their other apps, I can’t in good conscious give this anything than 3 stars. I should really be giving it a 2 because it just feels really average. It’s barebones and feels like demo software. I KNOW it’s can be better than this. I’ve already sent them extensive feedback. I look forward to raising my score in the future. But it’s a great company. Check out their other apps. I mean, check this one out too. But right now it takes too much work to get the results you want. It’s missing a lot of drawing tools.

Trash.. Let me begin by saying that I encourage the developer to contact me. I am giving this one star for two reasons: 1) poor UX. It's too bad to have a decent idea so poorly executed. 2) it forces you to sign up for the free trial, and it will then automatically charge you after that period. THERE IS NOWHERE ON THE APP THAT ALLOWS ME TO CANCEL THE PAYMENT. I was never prompted to create an account, and there is nowhere to create an account (are you kidding me?). This is an app whose business model is to make cancellation as difficult as possible vs. create an app that people actually want to pay for. Again, I encourage the developer to contact me as I will be fighting any charge that is put to my account.

New animation option is restricting. I think this app is amazing it has helped me create really fun and interactive content for my social media and artist profile. The most recent update however changed the way you are able to animate the pictures and it seems to be very limiting to what you can really do without the option of the anchor, path, speed, and geometrics. Please change it back I know this is just one review but that was a major change in the wrong direction. Everything else is still amazing. Thank you!

They just want your money. I downloaded to see what it was about. Sadly, unlike other photo apps there are no free trials that I am aware of so all you can do is look at the filters until u pay for the app monthly. What you guys fail to realize is a free trial actually helps people determine the if it’s even worth putting 5.99 or in this case $60. It’s about gravitation... say if I use your filters on one of my pics during say a 3 day free trial and my audience loves it then I’ll probably buy it to keep using it. But due to the fact I can’t even export a basic picture, people like myself can’t test the waters to even see if it s worth buying. So you guys get 1 star until something changes. Better luck with the next customer

I used to LOVE this app. This app was my go-to for animating photos, but their latest update renders it essentially useless to me since they decided to remove the anchor feature. The animate function is clumsy and amateurish without it. I cannot use it for professional purposes any longer. I had counted on this resource for several projects I have committed to completing on a timeline and now I cannot. I feel ripped off, disrespected as an artist, and goodwill with an otherwise very cool professional suite is significantly compromised. Trust in quality is important. Why developers would choose to dumb down a good app like this and TAKE AWAY good and useful functions is beyond me. Maybe in an entry level trial, but I pay for a pro membership for the suite. This was an essential basic feature for any pro. Really poor decision. I won't continue my subscription.

They gut and deprecate features, beware. I first bought Motion Leap two years ago and had a great time animated my art. Their animate feature was intuitive and produced great results. This year I renewed the license and found that their Animate tools were severely deprecated. They removed the Anchor points and several other options. Technically it still works, but not nearly as well as before. Worse, previous projects have lost their animation settings entirely. This means they have to be rebuilt from scratch using their newly castrated animation functions. Honestly I don’t recall precisely how I made them each two years ago, so basically all of that work is gone.

A Good App. I saw the in app purchases and originally was not about to pay to use this app but when I open the app turns out you can just use the main moving image thing for free sure it does limit the ways you can export but you can still make a decently long video and have it still move. I’m really happy that the moving stuff wasn’t locked behind a pay wall I saw this on TikTok and had to try it Super good app for what its meant to do!

Problems ruining the fun.. So items aren’t working correctly, For example: In the animation place, it won’t let me erase, draw, add motion. Next, the subscription doesn’t work. When you buy it, it still asked for you to pay even you already did. I think it’s just me, if not then it’s a bug. The overlays aren’t working either, it does nothing. The 3d motion isn’t 3d it’s like not working AT ALL. I really need you guys to update this game to fix the bugs, It’s annoying and you can’t do anything anymore. Overall I like it and it’s fun! No new updates and more expensive. I’ve been using this app for a very long time. I started paying for it because I loved the premium filters and options. They had consistent updates with new features. It has been almost 3 years and we haven’t had new elements, overlays, beatloops, effects, skies, water, or 3D animations. I wish you could change the color for some of the elements. Maybe add a few new items to help us create more. Honestly I would not recommend anyone purchase this until they add new things. On top of this they increased the price to 9.99 for monthly when it used to be 3.99, only because they added AI…. HOW ABIUT WE GET SOME NEW EFFECTS!?.

I love it!. This is a great app. It’s very fun to use and I like making gifs and videos! I haven’t spotted any bugs yet. It’s fun to make animations on here. I’m glad I downloaded this app. I learnt how to make an animation in 1 day. I love how easy it is to make effects. For example, I can make smoke effect all I have to do is highlight then boom. I have the smoke effect. This is a really great app I highly recommend it. You should definitely download this. And I am not one of those bots to put good reviews, this a real review.

Enjoyed it, but now not working. I sent an email asking for help. As of today my App is not opening. Stuck on the logo page. I pay for the pro version and I have not been able to use it for two days now and before that I was able to use it but for about a week I couldn’t see the picture choices, had to click on it to see what I was choosing. Hope this bug is fixed. I use this app for my business.

Why Are They Removing So Much?!?!. I used to love using this app for a plethora of reasons, but my favorite thing, by far, was the animation tools. Unfortunately, the app developers decided to strip the features from the animation tab. You use to be able to change the speed as well as add anchor points. The anchor point we’re a far superior method to the paint selection tool that is now the only option. You guys really ruined the app for me. I tried to make it work but no matter what I do, it is impossible to get the same results that I used to get using this SAME APP! I’ve given you guys money for years now so it is extremely disappointing to no longer be able to rely on this tool

Amazing!!!!!. Most editor apps you download make all of the features in the app pay to use and charge massive subscription fees. So it’s amazing that the free version of the app offers so much. Also the animate feature in the app is absolutely amazing something that photoshop can’t do. 🥳🥳🥳 I do think the speed controls should be able to be toggled a little bit slower or a little faster though.

Too much for Premium ( Makers please read this ). I think premium members get too many things. I mean if your not a member you get like nothing! Overall I think it’s pretty useful and really fun. Endless possibilities. This app is exactly what I’ve been trying to do with certain pics. Endless hours of entertainment, family photos and family fun event pictures have now become something we are starting to cherish even more now than we did when we first took our pictures.... We have came across other photo layouts this app offers and have mixed and matched them creating even more lovable cherishing memories than ever... 4.5⭐️

Pretty great with some annoying limitations. After paying $80 to be able to add music, I realized one super annoying thing about that feature. Seems like when you add music, the animation automatically syncs to the beat, making the animation less smooth looking. Super annoying if I already liked how the animation looked. Like it, but… Read to the bottom😩😒. Don’t get me wrong. This app is great. But it needs to be fixed. Every second, there are ads about a newer, better, and more expensive version. There are also so many things about this app that you can’t have unless they pay. So many of my friends are unhappy with the app, while so many just hit their limit and start paying by the month. This app is good. But it is DESIGNED to BREAK YOU DOWN and MAKE YOU PAY.

Don’t do it!. Between Apple and Enlighten I’ve been scammed. I thought I was just downloading the app, but I immediately got a message that I’d subscribed for $20. I tried to go through the confirmation letter I got from Apple to change that to a monthly subscription for much less so I could try it out first, and the link in Apple’s letter will not open. I saw that the developer told someone else to go through “Settings” to unsubscribe, but that’s a scam, too—you can’t unsubscribe from “Settings.” Shame on this developer, which probably comprises a couple of freshman techies trying to get rich quick, and shame on Apple for enabling them.

Not amazing. I downloaded this to edit some cool photos I have taken and I’m not very impressed. If you want to do some cool edits, you have to buy this stupid “Pro” thing. What they let you add is very little, out of 14 special effects it lets you do 3. Out of at least 200 stickers it lets you use 7. I do understand that is the way for the app to make money, but if you let people hardly use anything without the “Pro” no one will want to pay the monthly fee anyway. I’m not impressed and wish that it had more to offer.

This app tracks its users 😣. I was thrilled to discover and use this app .. until it requested permission to track me. I see no reason why tracking users is necessary to deliver app features, so my conclusion is that tracking users is a monetization mechanism on top of the subscription charge. If so, why — this app provides meaningful utility and an excellent feature set that I, and I suspect many other users would happily pay for — ? So, is the app developer not content with subscription revenue and therefore needs to take the low road of exploiting users by selling their private information as well?

Positive_network on Instagram. This makes the difference in my post from here on out it makes me not want to post without this feature I just wish I was more witty with how I can put music in my video I haven’t figure it out yet but I will eventually as for now the music isn’t merge overlaying the video hey that might just be the feature I got to look for to see if I can do it . All Saves “Canceled”. This app is pretty great, BUT every single time I try to save one of my works it gets to 100% then says “canceled”. I came back to look at reviews and see if this happened to anyone else. I saw you can apparently only save your works if you purchase the app. Therefore, I paid $5.99 for the month to use your app because I felt it was worth my money. HOWEVER, after purchasing the app I still get the “canceled” at the end of it being saved (even though I absolutely DO NOT press the “Cancel” button because I want it to be saved). This is crazy. Please fix this. If not I want a refund because I paid for an app that will not work.

4 words: Water, Fire, Earth, Air. I’ve been using this app for over a year now and it’s been amazing to me. Once again, I LOVE this app!! Water effects were added, new flame effects! I’m loving all of it! As constructive criticism, I’d looooove to see earth effects in the elements section! Like levitating rocks and sand flying around. I would also love to see wind effects! Tornados, slipstreams, etc. The elements section is my favorite part of pixaloop since I always make elemental edits. Hope to see it soon!! Thank you for this app 💙💙💙

1 thing. I think this is a really good app (despite all the advertisement for pro features and all the limits without it but it’s overpriced) and there could be one more thing added to it that could improve my experience with this app, and that would be to add freeze brush sizes. It’s hard trying to edit a picture and keep tiny parts frozen because it’s such a large area when you freeze it. If it was smaller it would be way easier to edit my pictures. And if it’s a pro feature that would make me extremely angry 😃. But all in all, good app.

Good but still limited and expensive. A pretty great app, better than all it’s competitors. That said PixaMotion is close to it in terms of function and is 6 so this is about 500% mark-up for a better GUI and a few more layers. That said two things that I do not like are the inability to control the speed of the pans or transparent png layers and no ability to edit the color per layer or to stack multiple layers on top of the same image. The other component I do not like is the inability to use the app offline, I try to stay offline as much as possible this makes the app a pain.

Update moved animate behind paywall. I don’t use this app often but recently when I opened it to grab an animated photo I made months ago, I discovered that now the animate feature - which is the entire reason to download this app - is now behind a paywall and I can’t export anything I made previously before the paywall was instituted. That is really unfair. If I created it before you forced this in users I should be able to export it. I am happy to pay for well made apps but the price on this is absolutely ridiculous; especially considering how infrequently I use it. I can’t justify paying that for the handful of times I use it.

No Button To Cancel Subscription. The app is great! But I don’t need it anymore. And for the life of me, I cannot find how to CANCEL my Subscription. There is no place within the App to view my subscription and cancel. This option should not be hidden or difficult to find. I would rate higher but because you’ve made it nearly impossible to cancel my subscription when I want and need to, I now have to wait h til you respond to my email that could probably take an entire week before I get a response and by the. I may be charged again. This business tactic isn’t cool at all.

Fun but crappy resolution for $3.99/mo. The app is fun and has awesome features. I'll be happy to upgrade to a five star if you fix these two things but and one is HUGE. RESOLUTION. What is the point of the resolution slider if it DOESN'T WORK? Don't charge me for a feature and then when I post to social media I have crappy resolution and it's blurry. What is the difference between 1080p 2k and 4k in your mind because I don't see ANY difference. They are ALL BLURRY. The other is smaller but has a point. I would like brush sizes on freezing items.

Pixaloop Change to MotionLeap. So I’m a little disappointed with what’s happened with Pixaloop. This used to be my fav mobile animation app until the name change. The app is slightly different. Still a ton of great features, don’t get me wrong, but the actual animation tab on the app is missing a lot of the old features including anchor points etc. Also haven’t seen any updates in a long time. Used to have new elements, sky and overlays on a pretty regular basis? Do you plan on adding back any of the old features or updating fresh effects? Great app just lost a bit of fire for me ever since the name change.

Bruh 💀. When I first got this app I was exited to edit some random photos I had primarily with the animation tool and I would export them and share them with my friends but when I come back a while later apparently it’s a pro feature now?! Why change it that’s what a lot of people most likely came to this app for because people were doing it on tik tok but now it costs money. Kinda seems like a cash grab now, people will just uninstall this app once they see you have to pay for it now. Used to fun but now it has no use to me and probably others I know it has other features but this one was what I was primarily here for. :/ wouldn't give it a 0 (fun while it lasted)

Subscriptions for photo editing apps is cancer. Subscription paywalls have no place in photo editing apps. They are just a predatory way for devs to exploit their customer base. Once you end your subscription, you are back to the start with nothing to show for it. At least, if you had the choice to buy the content as IAP, you would still have the content even if you don’t use the app for a year. Skip the subscription and buy an app for full price or that offers IAP for the content from a different dev that respects their customers.

In the past I would have given 4 stars. So in the past before a new update I was able to make decent controlled animations without paying $60 dollars. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the majority of users here are 1 young or 2 poor, I am poor and young I can’t pay $60 dollars for an app. Now with the new update it’s not worth paying, there’s so little controls now that the developers have taken away the basic function of this app for free users. I can no longer make decent animations with what is given to me and even if I payed the animations would still be subpar at best thanks to the developers taking away Anchors all together

What happened?. I got this when I had an iPod, now I have an iPad. On iPod, unpaid version, there was a few things I could do; adding motion to rain, hair and smoke wafting, trees swaying in wind, or motion to a waterfall. Understandably there were limits to how much could be done without buying the pro version, but I tested a bunch of features and got to see what could be done with this app. I was tempted to buy pro, but wasn’t able to at the time. Opened the app for the first time on the iPad, almost a year later, and all of that is now pro only. All I can do is add stickers, or really cartoony sparkles/confetti. How can anyone new to this app get any idea what can be done with it? Why would anyone pay $60 for features they can’t test? The sad thing, to me, is I opened the app excited to play with it on a screen I can see so much more on, before buying it, b/c I loved it on my iPod. Every few taps, something popped up trying to get me to pay for pro, a few times it would have just charged me if I didn’t require myself to enter my password (now fingerprint) for every purchase. Shady business practices imo. No thanks.
