Great money management app. Enjoying usage of my own debit card under parent’s control 😀

Excellent App. Does what it’s supposed to do very well. After getting through the secure registration process it’s easy to load money and send to kids. Using ApplePay they can spend anywhere. It’s easy and it works!

Horrible app. They will take your money and close your account very shady and disgusting business the customer support also will not respond to your email after your they are Racist and feminist as well so beware before also your account gets closed they will take your money and not answer support or provide check that was on your account

Difficult sign up. They said they could not very my identity and required me to send a lot of documentation via mail. The information they asked for is like signing up for a loan.

Future of Internet Shopping!. Easy to use for parents, kids and practically anyone that has a smartphone! At the rate the app developers are going, wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the future of internet purchases.

Got my half price switch delivered today. Best deal of the season! The App seems great too and we’ve actually started using it in our family for allowances. The kids love seeing their balances and thinking about what they’re saving for. I’m so glad we heard about this.

Best card for preteens & teens. We absolutely love this card for our daughter. So easy to use & monitor.

Worst customer service. This app is the worst. Don’t waste your time. After being denied creating an account I had to send a copy of my social security card, a copy of a utility bill and my ID. So now someone can steal my identity so that’s great. No reply to any of it. I sent several emails which went ignored and then after I got annoyed they told me they could not create an account. All the middle fingers for you jassby!

App. Doesn’t work

Stay away! save your time and money. My account was disabled after trying to add a debit card. The customer service required me to upload my sensitive personal information, otherwise they will not refund my credit balance.

Terrible. For something that was solicited as free service during a test with World Strides to make things easier for our child’s travel, has been nothing but difficult. They don’t answer emails, there’s no phone number to contact and so far I’ve been charged service fees for something that I can’t even get to work. Not a fan of companies that have electronic only communication, this is terrible customer service at best and we will not be continuing this said “free” but hasn’t been “free” service as soon as she gets back. If her card ever starts working and she gets to use any of my money we’ve put on it at all. Signed not a fan of Jassby

Don’t waste your time. I spent a couple of hours trying to get this app up and running. I had numerous issues. Once I got it installed onto me and my two kids phones, I ran into nothing but problems. The help section is very limited. I keep receiving errors saying it can’t find the entity. I can’t delete allowances, tasks, or anything because it can’t find an entity— I want an app to help organize their money and this just doesn’t work. Then it asks for a nickname to submit the review. It seems Frustrated in Washington is already taken. 🤨

Great idea for an app, continuing to improve. App has come a long way, new store is huge improvement over the old out dated experience. Seems like the company continues to improve the app after some growing pains early on. Will continue to use it and am anxious to see what other improvements they make in the future.

Awful. The app locked me out after I funded $80 from my bank account. Worthless!

It has potential…. I love the idea of this app. It could be great, but it’s just not. When it is working, I love it. But it seems like every other day or so we have to email bc our account is disabled (we can’t just fix it ourselves), or it won’t log in for one reason or another, or it we can get in “an error occurred”. If these bugs or whatever is wrong is fixed I’ll update my review. But until then, just two stars.

Useful app!. The Jassby app helped my kids figure out their allowance and made them want to do their chores faster! The app also served as a platform for them to learn about budgeting and saving, which is very useful at their age.

It’s ok, they could do better with the shopping it’s 1 to expensive and 2 there is not a lot other than that pretty good app (if they add more stuff I will change my review) Édit: Thank you for adding more stuff but one more thing you guys should add baby alive stuff and everything it well priced now!

App is a pain in the rear to use. Won’t let me change the display name for my kid because lo and behold we have the same name and I have no clue which one of us are going to get a card. I don’t need a card for myself and so I don’t want to spend $10 through trial and error.

Limited. After I had loaded $50 (split between 2 kids) my son tried to get $35 worth of gift cards. They allowed him the $5 one. Then emailed me they suspected suspicious activity and locked us all out of the account. I did get a response to my own email that they only remove the money from my checking when the kids purchase something but I still have no idea if they still have access to my cc #. This app is definitely in its infancy, the stuff they can “buy” is over priced and there isn’t much to choose from. It’s probably better to just get a kids starter checking account at your bank. It’s a lot easier to use and you can teach them how to hunt for the best deal on stuff!

Great app!. This app is something I wish I had growing up. Connecting grandparents, parents and children while teaching financial literacy! The in-app shop offers great products in a range of price points if the kid decides to spend their money. I also love the charitable aspect where kids can donate their money to a charity of their choice. Seems like there is a lot of momentum and exciting things in the pipeline.

Personal info. I haven’t even used this yet because there’s no way to add any credit card, only connect to your debit card, which I don’t want to do. I prefer not to have any apps connected to my bank accounts in any way for obvious reasons.

An app that has potential for a growing digital world. I think the app is a very good concept in the way that parents set allowances to other members of family a set amount of money. In an ever growing digital world I think it’s good to teach children how to handle cash and how to handle a amount of money on the screen. It’s a lot easier to spend money virtually because you don’t see it physically leave your wallet and that’s where this app allows you to teach your kids about having a bank account and financial habits. I feel like using it for the first time was quite a learning experience but once you learn how to use it it can be a great tool. The app also has issues where sometimes it just blurs out and you have to reset it.

Jassby is great for the kids!. I downloaded this seeing how it would work. It has been AMAZING for my Family and my kids to understand how money works. Now they’re able to understand what it’s like to earn money. Plus the kids can buy stuff right from Jassby!

Not bad, but customer service could have been better. Left bad review before, but they fixed the problem (fraudulent transaction). Otherwise no issues My kids like their credit cards.

Trouble. Can’t delete users. Can’t edit accounts.

Accounts have very limited use. After I loaded $50 to my kids account. My son tried to use his virtual card with Apple Pay and it didn’t work. You can’t use the debit feature in the store because they don’t give you a PIN number. When I asked customer support how to obtain a PIN number they said they are working on providing those soon, but the cards currently don’t have that option. I have never heard of a debit card without a PIN number.

Gives good visibility to kid spending. Once the kids added their debit cards to Apple Pay, they started using them regularly. The biggest advantage is that I can see where they are spending their money and how much they have left on balance. I like the alerts for that reason. I also like that we can transfer money between family members.

Information pirates!. The app allows you to sign up with your personal information and your child’s and then disables your accounts for no reason! They are STEALING information. BEWARE!!!

Issues fixed!. EDITED W/ UPDATE: After I made my last review customer service called me and was able to fix the login issue. There must have been an issue that prevented me from getting their email Before that. I like the idea of this app, and it would be great if it actually worked, but my password stopped working, and I was unable to reset my password due to having registered using a social media account and given no other options to fix it. In addition, my daughter’s version of the app just stopped working- she gets nothing but an error message. And i have gotten no responses to my multiple messages to support, either.

Very useful application. I am one of the customers who gotta know about Jassby from one of the online forums and I instantly downloaded the app and started using it and it works well and the regular offers they have is a plus.

Money Apps Must Work. I think this is a very great idea. During trying to set it up I did have a huge issue with the fact that you can’t use the service unless your children have emails. I think they need to find a better way of verifying each family member. I don’t wanna validate someone in my house with an email address. Also it has malfunctioned on removing a member, and it’s really just extremely difficult to set up if you have multiple family members.

Overall Impressions. I think this app really ties together a lot of the most convenient aspects of other apps. Being able to budget, transfer, and shop all in one place without swapping apps makes life a lot easier. The mall experience is certainly unique in a good way.

I really, really need this app to work. I want to love or at least like this app. Despite the fact that I’ve connected my bank, I continually receive error and warning signs that tell me I need to choose a funding source. The user interface is just not intuitive, so I can’t do simple things like have it pay my kids, much less tie the money to chores. Grrr. And there’s no support. Meanwhile, I get “Greg from Jassby” emails about dinner recipes in my inbox. What?

BEST kids money app, although it still needs tweaking. This app is incredible! There are a few things that could stand to be tweaked but even with those hiccups it’s by far the best kids money app out there! The awesome stuff: you transfer money in to a family wallet and then can distribute it to the kid’s accounts. They can see it on their devices, even spend it with their digital debit card. So cool! You can set up weekly allowance and they can put it in savings or spending. What’s better: you can set up tasks for them to earn money. There are even deadlines to do these things. Amazing. The challenges: I find some aspects difficult to navigate. For example, it’s easy to transfer money to a kid, but I can’t figure out how to make a deduction from a kid’s account. My kids are younger (7 and 10) so they aren’t using their debit cards yet (although I’m thrilled that they’ll be able to in the future!) so at this point it’s more of a record keeper for us. I don’t think I can manage the kids accounts on their behalf- I believe they need to go in on their device to do this. I’d love to be able to make adjustments like transferring some of their money to their savings. Overall, Jassby you are crushing it! Thank you for making such an awesome app! I would totally pay a one-time fee for it.

Good idea, flawed execution. Great idea, but the execution and functionality aren’t there yet. It’s unclear when signing up which account comes with the debit card and which one doesn’t. The shopping for the Preferred Account (the non-debit card one) is more limited than the writeups lead parents to believe. Customer service is slow to respond via email, which is the only way to contact them. Really love the saving option, which helps parents teach kids about budgeting, saving, and giving. The auto pay each week works great. The chores are a super idea, but the descriptions of the chores don’t save, so parents/kids have to re-enter each time. Also need a way to create our own chores instead of relying on “other” I hope they can make a go of it, since the idea is great! But clearer communication, more functionality, and faster customer service will be essential.

Two Words CRAP SANDWHICH!!!. This thing couldn’t be a bigger piece of crap let me tell you. First off it’s way to complicated for most rocket scientist never mind kids! App is buggy and craps out all the time which is the last thing you want when your dealing with your family’s finances!! This thing is like a crappy attempt at knocking off Venmo. At least Venmo works! If you want to give your kids money use Venmo or give them money the old fashion way cash, because this thing is pure garbage!

Love the app and all of its capabilities. We love the flexibility of this app. Giving allowance and setting limits has never been easier us. Plus, it teaches financial literacy and independence. Our motto: You want it, you earn it. We have not had any order issues and are happy with all of our product purchases, too.

Updated Review. Update: I received some improved communication which I’m thankful for. Still think the app is rough about the edges and support could be improved. I’ve tried to contact support numerous times and each time a representative greets me and then leaves without offering any help. I just tried again and I am unable to even send a message anymore.

Worst app and customer support EVER. Just don’t use this app, they don’t know where is your order and when it will be. So you will wait for your order without any information. And also the worst customer support I ever seen. They are rude and don’t know how to help you.

Grandparents not allowed to open account. As a grandmother I tried to open up a new account and I received a message that I could only be added to parents account The parents don’t have an account and don’t want to open one. Very disappointing.

Needs Work. App still needs more work. Can’t do anything. Kept saying operation failed. Can’t send money or edit profile. Pretty much can’t do anything .

Don’t know????. I don’t know I’m having to much problem trying to download the app on my granddaughter phone problem with the emails this app is so complicated I had to delete my granddaughter from the app and try adding her back on but it’s the same I’m not trusting this app it’s to faulty

Hard to rate. Hard to rate when I can’t get into the app. I can’t seem to get past the account creation page. They definitely have a big related to the password part.

Poor customer service. Waited almost two months while they “reviewed my request to open an account.” No communication from them or follow up. After two months, emailed them to forget it and still got no reply.

Registering a new account. I downloaded this app and it did not work. It wouldn't let me create/register for an account. When I clicked the create a family button the continue button doesn't work.

Mom approved. I like how it makes it easy for me to send allowances to my two kids. And I like that they actually learn something about money while using it. Clever app

Don’t deposit money!!!!. It’s a waste of time I deposit money, they still have account on hold and it’s been three weeks, once you deposit money you will have to wait like two months before receive any updates
