So far, so good. We are really enjoying this app so far. Great tons of free features and good tutorials to get you started. As with anything, practice will make perfect, but so far pretty intuitive. Can’t wait to see what great animations of our own Original art we are able to create with this app.

No cancel for subscription if you try premium. I decided to try the the subscription, since it said there was a trial period, then decided against it within 2 days, but theres no way to end it or contact them. Manage subscription page looks the same as before but acknowledges premium status and there is no opt out

Craps and Crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’ve attempted to edit just a 1 min 20 video... and it crashed every time I tried to add/edit a simple overlay. When I finally did succeed in creating what I wanted 12 attempts later, it exported it with some statically VHS filter I DID NOT AT ALL add. It did this 3 times. I subscribed to their annual pro version and this is the crap I get on my first attempt... waste of time and money. Deserves NEGATIVE STARS

Terrible app. Honestly this app is the biggest waste of time. You do everything to make a photo how you want only to be told you have to pay $$$$ in order to save a photo that YOU originally took... the app is sub par I wouldn’t pay 99 cents let alone 10$ for a ripple effect on my own photos smh

Amazing app. Story z is an amazing app. I usually use it to edit my picture. The most amazing feature I found on story z is the animation feature it allows you to make your picture come alive. Overall this is an amazing app I definitely recommend.

Crashing. The app keeps crashing on me.

Ripped off. I bought a required 1 week subscription to tru the features. I just discovered I have been charged every week for weeks for something I was never able to use for my purpose.

Fix what you broke. So the add-ons are nice but the tool set up it less then desirable. Keep the the new stuff and fix the tools to the last format.

This app is awesome. I just got this app and it has a few boughs but it is really good and I just love it and I hope other people would buy it to it’s a great way to boost imagination.

Problems. I have owned Premium use of this App for 2 years and loved it…but now it all of a sudden it will not let me use my Overlay at all no matter how many times I reload and sign back in…..NOT HAPPY!!

A Must-Have App!. After months of downloading and deleting apps that claim ‘free’ and ‘quality’, but are actually the opposite—or even apps that I love, but charge for use after 3 days, I was losing hope of finding an app for photo motion editing that met my editing needs. Finally, I found StoryZ! Not only do you get to edit and add motion and overlays to photos, it’s all free and you can see the work of other creators! You get to customise your editing tools, and notifications from the app aren’t annoying, unlike many apps. Thank you to the developers for creating such a wonderful app! I use it for all my creations and really appreciate it. Highly recommend!

Subscription not effective. The app claims to remove their watermark from the finished product if you pay a subscription but after deleting and redownloading the app it still puts a watermark on my images despite being a two year paying customer

Probably the best app for plotagraphs. so normally I’m the type of person to not make any reviews however, StoryZ is the best app I’ve used for the plotagraph style art, and it should be the forefront for it I have one issue however, I can’t get the add music gui to pop up on IOS 13 GM (golden master build), any workarounds to this?

Host server not found. Paid for this app and am now locked out and unable to connect to a host server with no app support to get in touch with to assist me. If someone can reach out to help me, that would be great. Otherwise, I would like a refund. Thank you.

Major Bugs. I actually bought this app and spend money on it for it's services. However every time I make a ripple and try to save it, the app gets stuck on the processing screen. I can't make anything because it won't save. I need my money back or this needs to be fixed.

Could be better. I like the effects of the app. I’m giving it 3 stars because outside of being able to make a pic in video you can’t do anything else. Would love to see you guys add text effects to it, crop and longer music time.

The tools are great, but…. I haven’t been able to export a single edit without it glitching across what I just created. No matter what quality I export in, there’s glitching across the screen of the finished project that’s not showing in the original project. It always occurs after downloading. Need help with this, did contact support.

Ease Of Use. What I like about the ap is the ease of use. It is largely intuitive. Downside is not having access to a lot of filters.

Nice app but bad Chinese translation lol. Nice app! With it I made wonderful motion pics. But to be honest, as a Chinese user, I have to tell you many words in Chinese version is not correct... you may check it if you think it is important. Anyway I know some English so I can understand it roughly:)

Terrible experience!. I upgraded for 4K features. When I try to upload a new image the aspect ratio is still low and it scales the image down. When I try to reach support it says email not configured. I look in my settings and I see my email is right there. What is this?

It’s good it’s just ……so good. But like when I put I mean one I put a screenshot or make a screenshot I don’t see the picture show up but it’s still good

After images.. hi! this is a really good app. but the afterimages in my “animation” are really bugging me. if you could find a way to remove this it would be greatly appreciated, and i will change my rating from 4 to 5.

Please undo limits on Pulses etc. I’d give this app 5 stars if you didn’t impose limitations on it. I subscribed to Lifetime use, all features unlocked. Imagine my disappointment to find that you are limited to 5 pulses on your animations. You are also limited to your so called Ripple motion effects. If I pay for something that supposedly unlocks all features, I expect to add limitless overlays, pulses, motion etc. When you change these limits, I’ll give you 5 stars.

Low resolution!. I have three main gripes. 1) The app downgrades the resolution of your image when you import it. Even though you pay to have the option to output 4K it doesn’t matter if the image you’re working with is blurry! 2) The app limits the number of motion arrows and pins you can use. And I always hit that limit. So annoying to have to start strategically erasing pins to be able to use more. 3) Too much social media garbage that gets in the way of what the app’s main function is supposed to be. It shouldn’t be hard to find the primary function of your app!!

This is awesome. Even though I can’t afford the premium version, there’s still a lot I can do on StoryZ. Thank you for creating this cool app!

100% worth buying.. This app does everything I need it for. The tools for motion are great and the ability to mix parts of pic together (with a bit of screen shot shenanigans for deeper silliness) are fantastic.

Don’t bother. I signed up for a one year subscription and got locked out of my account due to a technical error. I have written them numerous times and they’ve yet to reply. They’ll gladly take your money but could care less when you experience technical issues. There’s no contact number to access a representative. Also, the app crashes on a frequent basis. I’m only rating one star in order to write this review. Beware. Opt for Pixaloop. It has a much cleaner presentation and is a snap to use.

L O V E. I’m an artists, and I have been using this app to animate all my drawings. I’v had this app for 2 weeks and have already gained about 200 followers on a twitter because of this app. Is so much fun to use and very easy. I do recommend unlocking the features your missing out on a lot of you don’t.

Premium not working. I have tried to restore purchases and in the App Store it already says I’m subscribed to this app. When I attempt to save my videos, it just starts me all over saying I need to purchase and then says it cannot connect to the iTunes Store. I really need to save the videos I’ve made without the watermark ASAP.

Video FX Don’t Work Well If At All. Videos look like a broken TV after processing and don’t even have the chosen FX half the time. I bought the membership specially for video FX but can’t even use them. They also removed full continuou rotation for pictures, now it only rotates back and forth. I also bought the membership exclusively for this photo effect.

Upset. I now give this app five stars ! I had a problem that was promptly fixed and now its working flawlessly. I got a reply in a day and was fixed overnight. Thanks to the STORYZ TEAM !

Solid set of features. It does what it promises and has a wide variety of graphic features.

It crashes. This app crashes all the time. I have to hurry up and finish what I was doing before it crashes. It’s a shame because it has a lot of features that I like.

4/5. I would give it 5/5 but it doesn’t let me add my downloaded music so I have to use another app for that which is frustrating but overall it’s a lot of effects, animations to choose from and simple to use

Final product pixelated. Cannot get help from developer elsewhere so hopefully they will respond here. Whenever I make a project and save it the final project has pixelated lines running through it. I have tried saving under all the different settings and still get the same result. Please help or refund.

You charge me every month for something that was supposed to be a one time lifetime payment. I have tried to contact your team about this issue and did not get the necessary support to fix the situation. Every month I’m being charged $3 something but It was supposed to be a ONE TIME payment of $40. It’s unfair that you have a great system to charge me, but not good support to fix this wrong charge. I like the app and that’s why I paid for the premium version, but out of courtesy you should reimburse me the extra money you have charged me.

Pretty Good but a ways to go to be great. I use this a lot and it is good. Drawbacks include difficulty saving drafts and the challenge of making things move in a realistic way. Your work is not saved automatically. Also, if I build to big a file (use too many arrows) the app crashes and does not save your work. —from Westwood village reviews The main reason for the two stars is that story Z has not kept up with pixaloop. I go back-and-forth among several apps. Pixaloop has continued to develop whereas StoryZ seems to be relatively static. I’m looking forward to improvements from this app which is, as has been mentioned, has terrific potential. And I agree with above that drafts are hard to save.

I have been waiting for assistance for since 2021 & nothing has been done.. Paid for lifetime/ Premium & haven’t been able to use for 3 years now. Extremely disappointed, reached out developer & was told to contact support again it’s been over a year & I reached out against as directed by developer & still haven’t heard anything back. I noticed the developer respiring other users & I don’t see that the issues have been fixed. I’m continuing to encounter the same issue with the Pro upgrade. Back in September of 2021, developer ask me to replied : Dear User, Please restore your purchase by clicking on already purchased also share your user detail. I did as I was instructed & no luck fixing the issue. This issue continued for several months & has not been resolved. I have been waiting for assistance for since 2021 & nothing has been done. Apparently StoryZ developers don’t care about the lack of customer service. If developers refuse to assist customers, they should refund Our money that We paid for a Lifetime to be able to access help & be treated with respect. After awhile StoryZ developers just blocked me from contacting them. So the only thing I could do was to write a review. After several years a developer decided to contact me & asked me to contact support. No reply from support, so I emailed Support again & still no reply. My question is, if StoryZ wants me to change my review, they should reach out & solve the problems I am encountering.

Pro Membership not honored when changing terms.... When I first download the app, I immediately upgraded for the Pro Membership. Now that the terms of service changed, advertising was increased, my previous Pro Membership did not grandfathered... Now the cost is prohibitive for me... Very disappointed, will delete app unfortunately.

Took My Money!. I bought the Ai Art and was charged three times, but no credits have come to my account. The horrible part was I tried to get in contact with your company but you’ve made no way to respond through your website, so I’m forced to leave you a bad review in hopes that you will respond to the $15 that’s been taken from my account but no credits given to me. You guys need to fix this ASAP before you start getting bad reviews from other customers and i absolutely love your app but this is something that needs to be corrected fast.

Love it. I absolutely love this app. It’s great for adding interest to stationary images for videos and or any number of other things. There’s a community to share work, as well. Great stuff.

App Purchase Restored. Please disregard my earlier review because this 80-year old app user discovered a way to restore my app purchase. Please forgive me for impetuous reaction and subsequent premature review submission.

Great app. This app gives you everything you need. Your photos will be dazzling masterpieces. It it very easy to use you may want to upgrade but you will be so happy with the results.

Premium membership does not work. I purchased the premium however every time I try to save my work it tells me to try Premium (which I already have). When i choose premium it tells me I already have it but that StoryZ cannot connect to the iTunes Store. This is the only app I have this problem with. Everything else connects to the iTunes Store.

App Issues. App keeps closing in the middle of me working on something and I lose everything only have one way to save as a draft and that’s only in the ripple section if I’m not mistaking also the image quality is horrible after I save it to my phone so it completely down grades the image quality smh and I should be able to do all 3 in one not separately

Fix. I love this app but pretty frustrated I get to the end of editing something that’s taken me ages and it just goes to the main menu and doesn’t save my work so I have to start from scratch. Fix this please I have paid for the premium version

Not compatible with iphone 12 pro. I just cant seem to start off editing as I cannot start after viewing the tutorials. Dont know what happen.

Can’t select photos. This app only randomly and rarely displays the prompt that allows toy to select photos. I’ve given up using it.

Best motion app only missing one feature. Best app i tested so fa and more functionality then other apps! The only issues is that you can’t use it it horizontal mode on iPad, and having to use the iPad in vertical mode makes it a lot harder. Please fix and I will get a subscription because this app is truly worth it!

Disappointing. Looks great until you realize that, to remove the watermark and get the better features, you have to pay a MONTHLY fee (of $1.99), which is absolutely absurd for a photo editing application.

Not for uploading. It wont let me upload it to ig or wherever... its just a plain photo.. maybe you have to edit it in a computer....if anyone knows plz help tnx..

You took my money. You guys have a 1 week free trial and I confirmed to have that trial and you still charged me. That isn’t very good business and if you guys are doing this to others, your app should be shut down.

Easy to learn, but hard to save. Learning to us this app was relatively easy, but when I’ve tried to save a gif, it just says “processing” and never finishes. Spent a lot of time working on photos, but then it was all wasted when it wouldn’t save.

Not as good as Plotaverse & Werble. Seems like a generic copy cat of better apps such as PLOTAVERSE & Werble. These apps are user friendly. Not a bunch of sign ups, log in or pop up junk before a chance to be creative & artistic. This app is a hassle just to try it out. Stick to Plotaverse & Werble.🎨

Very annoyed. This app keeps closing out every time I do an overlay effect. I watched all the tutorials so it’s not me. It’s simple to use, but i’ll do an effect and the screen just goes black after I put an effect on it. Im very annoyed, especially since this is an app that cost money.

Subscription:(. Awesome app that you can never own. They need to add effect layers like smoke and dust. The need adjustment on video layer.

Charges. I have yet to use this app but noticed after I downloaded that I was charged $4.99. I was never prompted to select a subscription plan and there was nothing when I downloaded it that said there was a cost.

Low resolution. When I purchased the lifetime subscription I thought the files export at 4K, but the files export at less than 2k. For example, I upload an image at 8100px square and StoryZ sizes it down to 1400px. This is very low resolution and not what I thought I was buying.

Doesn’t work. Every time I try to do this app it does t ripple the way I want it to. I’ve set the mask and everything. All that ripples is the corner where I didn’t put any motion on. This app is frustrating. Only started happening when I got pro for $1.99

They make it so you can’t cancel. Every time I have tried to access my acct it says “Something has gone wrong” and I haven’t been able to cance and it keeps charging me. Don’t buy. Garbage.

Rating. I can’t make an account because I can’t push the verify button and I get very frustrated and feel like I should delete the app even though I was going to get the premium.

Fake “4K”. Not paying for the upgrade. My friend paid and when they select “4K” the video exported is 2K max. Not only that, at the very first step the app degrades image quality to around 1.4K and then on export just stretches pixels. Need two things. 1) keep original image resolution. 2) true 4K
