💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

US credit cards don’t work. How can you create a business that does not accept Credit cards from the US. I’ve added 2 cards and you always get an exception saying credit cards not accepted at this time. I’m in Colombia and it’s Really annoying having to pay cash … there is also obviously a max n what you can order. Have to use other apps. I’m here with 20 people and no one can use credit. This company will fail

First ride with DiDi and in Mexico. I was extremely hesitant to use this app in Mexico, but to my surprise the app was easy. In my opinion better than Uber, but what made it all so much better and worth it was the quality of my driver. Mr. Oswin was passionate about his job no kidding. Friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the city/country. To top it, he even spoke a little English! Loved it. Nice job DiDi!

First and last time I use DiDi food NEVER AGAIN! ITS A SCSM. I Had a really bad experience with the delivery rider and the customer service department. Ordered a lunch for my wife as I was away from home and she had a surgery and was home bound. Clearly wrote the complete address including the apartment number, my order was accepted by the delivery driver, however before he arrived, he said that he wouldn’t deliver the order at the apartment door. I wrote back to him asking him to please deliver it at the door as my wife had a surgery and couldn’t meet him at the building reception. Still he refused to made the delivery and also was rude with the receptionist and my wife who was listening the whole thing by her phone. After this the delivery rider toke the meal and leave without offering any alternative. I received a phone call from customer service but they didn’t acknowledge anything of what I complained for, and charged me for something that I didn’t cancel and also didn’t receive. I’m extremely disappointed with DiDi food and will share my negative experience with everyone I know, don’t want anyone else to pass for this. It’s a scam.!

Charges for coupons then does not allow to use app again. I've been using this app for a while. The app is easy to use and is cheaper than the other apps but unfortunately, once you buy their coupons, you can't use the app anymore as they say that the credit card you are trying to use is not valid for purchases, even if you have been using it for months before this coupon purchasing. After that they won't refund and will just ban keeping the money. Be careful, use the app but never buy coupons or top founds as you will loose the money.

Doesn’t take any credit card. Utterly worthless app. It always gives you the option to pay via credit card, yet it doesn’t work 98% of the time. Neither AMEX nor VISA works when I try and use it. Just deleted the app. Will keep with Uber and Uber eats as that app works flawlessly. Sure it’s just a tad bit more, but I don’t mind if it works.

Credit card invalid, after $0.05 transaction charges. Didi charged my card $0.05 as a temporary transaction, which is common to validate credit cards. But when requesting a ride, the app says my card is invalid. I can’t order or ride with the app because it constantly tells me my card is invalid. Support doesn’t exist so I’m back to Uber exclusively when I’m in Mexico.

Works some of the time.. The good- it’s usually cheaper than Uber here in Puerta Vallarta. The cars are almost as nice as the Uber cars. Most Uber drivers also drive for DiDi so their cars are in good shape. The not so good- Occasionally you’ll get a sub par or dirty car. It’s hit or miss on whether they will accept credit card on file or you have to use cash. If you have a problem, like their app led them driver to the wrong location, they charge YOU for the added mileage. When you contact customer service it’s a waste of time. In 4 bad charges they resolved zero complaints. The system seems set up to pretend to care.

Exceptional Rides. I was introduced 2 DiDi and will always use it friendly drivers every time I have taken their service and are very reasonable. Kuddos to them.

Didi is great. I moved from uber and I am a fan. More drivers in colombia. The fare showed at all times which is different than in uber. The interface to add credit card was also vert straightforward. Ibg general the interface was more clean.

The worst customer service ever. I have tried DiDi here in Egypt and actually they are not providing any customer service or support number, you only have the option to send your request through the app and when they answer you they will immediately block the response option so you do not have the right to reply to them. Uber is higher price but much more honest.

THE WORST APP EVER!. Wow what a terrible experience with this lousy app. The payment process is a NIGHTMARE!!! I attempted to put in over 3 of my debit cards for payment but it kept saying I needed to verify my card by inputting a charge that would be added on my account but I never got one. The customer service was also just as Terrible at helping out my situation. They just replied with the basic info to do the steps you had already done to begin with. No help at all. Absolutely the WORST APP I have ever dealt with. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Thanks for nothing DIDi 🤢🤢🤢

Doesn’t work for foreign bank card holders. Tried for three days to use this app in Mexico. Couldn’t pass the card verification process even though I could see the amount in my home currency on my card, but converting to local currency wouldn’t verify. 24+ hour turnaround time with support and only getting form-filled responses, while not allowing support to verify the amount I provided, left the app unusable.

Very poor location service!. This app is good but very annoying. I will stop using it if this stuff continues. Your location services are very poor . I put an address and the driver goes to a very wrong place . Saying it’s the app that put that location 😖 it’s so annoying . After ordering taxi because I’m late I now have to spend half of my time chasing the car 😡💔 it’s absurd . Do something about it . I know like 5 people who don’t use the app again because of this same problem .

Worst experienced (on many occasions). I've tried to give this company a chance but they have disappointed so many times. Worst customer service. Both on the cab side of the app and food delivery. Many times I was canceled on but the app did not refund or the driver did not pick me up but the app showed that I'm in the cab and on two occasions ordered food and the restaurant was closed but the app did not tell me it's closed so after waiting a long time I realized I'm not gonna get the food. Please do not work with this company

Unable to Add Card + Horrendous UX. I’m sure this app works great, however, when I tried to add several cards the amount I entered did not work. I used all of my attempts and contacted support. Two reps confirmed to me that my card was verified and both turned out to be lying or ignorant at their job as neither were able to work. Thank goodness Uber was able in the location or I would have been stranded. On top of that, the UI kept showing the same screen as I hit the back arrow on the help screen. An embarrassing problem on their product team to not be able to get that right. Hope you hire better front end devs. Also, you should allow people to be able to email customer support in Gmail or copy the email and not have the default as Apple Mail - unless you hate your users and don’t want them contacting you for help, but I could be wrong. Hope this feedback makes it past your customer service team and actually gets discussed on and maybe put into a sprint cycle.

Bad service. My trip cost a bit more than the trip estimate I saw when I requested. So had that exact money on me from the estimate I saw when booking. When the trip ended it was a bit more as driver took a longer route. So upon reaching my destination he ends the trip and I see it’s a bit more. So kindly ask if I can fetch some change inside, he then starts to complain saying you customers like doing this, it wastes their time. I then mentioned the trip was more than the estimate cause he took a longer route, I’m not saying I’m not going to pay, just asked to fetch more change in the house. When I get back with the correct change he then says I was sleeping, why didn’t I tell him the correct way to go instead I was probably sleeping cause that’s why I didn’t say anything. I said why would you insult me by saying I’m sleeping when I clearly wasn’t?? What do you mean by that?? He then went to say I’m crying for the extra money on the trip, I now told him why would I cry for that, you took a longer route and I knew it would mean extra, when we got to the house I gladly fetched the money so how am I crying for the extra money?!! He now went on to insult me by calling me names. How disgusting of him. So I am very bothered by how they would treat a lady, what did I do wrong??!! I never refused to pay or anything. His grievance was that I wasted his time by quickly going into the house to fetch some change. How pathetic

The app always lies about the time of arrival. I use the app almost every day. It works. It usually does what it should besides some occasional drivers being irresponsible, bad at driving, or unresponsive. But what bothers me is that the app always lies about estimated time of pickup. It’ll say the driver is two minutes away and then take an additional 5 minutes. This is an intentional and unethical feature of the app to make people not cancel. Give honest time estimates so people can decide if they should use the app or some other form of transportation.

Constant issues. Scamming tourists.. They make you verify your card everyday. 6 months later and they still have not fixed this issue. I’m being asked to verify cards that I’ve been using for years on the app. The cards are in my name and all have been previously verified. They simply do not care, I recommend other apps before using this one. After a year in Mexico the entire DiDi team still cannot fix the most simple issues. It still asks me to verify my credit card even though they accept it 50% of the time. Just a horrible service will careless staff. When you ask for help you get a robot.

Me cobraron casi el doble / I was charged almost double. EN: I requested a ride while it was raining and there was a lot of traffic. Because of this, am usually walkable distance was more expensive than it would normally be. I accepted the ride, and when I got to my destination, DiDi charged me almost double my original price, even though they were already charging me more. I wrote and they told me the amount was correct, but I think it’s incredibly disrespectful that they would charge so much more when it’s nobody’s fault. I’m never using DiDi again. If I’m being told a price, I expect to pay that price at the end of my trip, not for it to be a guide of what I may be charged.

Stolen phone. The app is good so far as like Uber, pretty same platform, but the didi support is awful no response, and it is basically the process of requesting a ride that works good, because my last rides were terrible, my second last ride that was in Mexico City That was toward the air port, he took my cellphone out of my hands an the last moment when I was getting of the car , it was a terrible situation cause I was quite late to my flight, so I had 2 options or have the police help me get my phone back or lose my flight, of course I did not lost my flight and have no opportunity to do absolutely nothing about it, and a second one that I requested, he got to the wrong pick up point, I tried to call him did not respond proceed to text him, then he got to the spot requested, just looked at me and abandoned me, and still charged me the fee of getting there, and still no response of didi support about my complaint , I’ll never be using didi again and recommend all my friends and family members to not to use didi cause, what’s next? Being robed with a weapon for all belongings, nooop, safety is first.

TIJUANA. Jesus Christ. I wait like 15 minutes for a dam car to accept my request. In the morning here in Tijuana, business should be blooming but there’s only like 5 cars at that times when thousands of people are crossing the border between 2 AM - 8 AM. also DIDI please make sure ur drivers have change. Instead of paying $60 pesos I pay $100 because the guys don’t have change and expect me to be okay with giving them another $50 pesos

Problems are not being solved !!!. They tell you you will be charged a certain amount and then change it along the way without your consent I have had a ride with a problem that the driver took a bad route and they charged me TRIPLE the amount I was supposed to pay and they won't contact me again they keep saying it will be resolved within 24 hours .. well I'll tell you what ? It has been seven 24 hours and nothing is solved !!

Broken app. Paid with my debit card and it made all kinds of holds on my account and I also got charged for rides and then refunded and then charged again. The cost of each ride makes sense but when it would refund the money back it kept a couple cents each time. Also the holds are still there AND the charge so I will give it a couple days to clear before I report it to my bank. This app is suspect beware. One extra star because the drivers seem to like it more than Uber.

Great but DON’T add your card info!!. I used this while in Costa Rica. I paid with cash so everything was good. Great drivers. And cheaper than Uber. I decided to add my card. But any “Costa Rican granny” told me not to put my card on there. But I did it just to get some food delivered then I was going to take it off. That next day (a Saturday) my card stopped working and I thought because it was going to expire this month so I wasn’t worried about it. I just planned on calling my bank that Monday. I called my bank and asked them what happened long story short this app said they were going to do $0.89 authorization then refund the money (which they did) BUT after that they tried to take $550 out of my account! No car ride in Costa Rica is that expensive or food deliver is that expensive! But luckily my bank blocked that. So this is a warning the app is amazing but the scamming the card part is ridiculous! Now I’m two weeks out of having a card. Luckily I had enough cash on hand & my credit card during my trip OR I would have been horribly struggling because they scanned me and my bank won’t even unblock my debit card because it’s compromised.

The worst delivery experience in any country anywhere. Every order was a bait and switch. It would tell you that the order would take 15 to 20 minutes. But they send a driver to pick up your food and then send that person to pick up three or four other orders before they deliver to you. Each order was delivered over an hour late and the food was cold. There’s no way to cancel and the poor delivery person is standing out there and gets screwed if you don’t pay him. Don’t use the app.

Driver never delivered food and didn’t get refund. I placed an order throughout DiDi and waited an hour to be delivered. When the delivery guy was supposed to be in my location he stated he was unable to locate me. I messaged me my exact location and even went out side and waited. 45 minutes passed and then it shows that my order was cancelled and I was not receiving a refund. I tried to contact the delivery guy several times and he would just say he was not able to find my location when I had deliveries from here before and Uber and they had no issue. I contacted customer service and was informed that I can’t get a refund because I never showed for my pick up. I even showed them screen shots of all the time I tried to contact the delivery guy.

Double charge. I use this app in Ciudad Juarez, most of the drivers are mean, they don't want to do the trip, but they don't want to cancel, in order to charge you, and if you cancel, you have to pay for the cancellation fee, even when the ones who refuse to do the trip are them or you can choose the Express ride and they take 10 o 15 minutes to arrive or use longer routes in order to charge you more, also some of the cars don't even have AC or they are in terrible conditions.

Had to disable notifications. Good app and good rates. They send annoying morning notifications and unnecessary nuisance. I was forced to disable notifications on my iPhone for this app because of their “thinking they’re funny” attitude. It’s amazing how they manage to ruin a good product with one tiny act. It might make better sense to just send coupon deals or something instead which would be even a good advertising for them

Not working in china. I am trying to sign in but I couldn't, my changed my cell phone , didi app is still working in my old one cell phone but when i try to log in my new cell phone it doesn't work , i have few questions why I can't use this app in china right now ? Even this service is available, but in app there is error that " not available in your country " , please fix it

Good Interface Poor Experience. Well designed app but I have issues with the business model. Each time I attempted to secure. ride in Melbourne I experienced obvious bait and switch pricing. Express price quotes were always significantly lower than Uber price quotes but no driver ever accepted the ride. If you want DiDi to pick you up you need to pay their max price which is comparable to Uber. No thanks, I’ll stick with upfront and accurate pricing with Uber.

Okinawa needs improvement. There is no advertisement for American military; military approved taxis should be an option when requesting a taxi; when language option is English, the search result are in Japanese and there is no map visually showing locations of search results; one cannot drop a pin when selecting destination, only pick up; discounts offered are in Japanese when language setting is English; CASH payment should only be offered as an option to verified (via SMS) Japanese phone numbers, or if the customer has an approved card payment in profile.

No notification settings. The app spams me constantly. There is no way to turn off promotional notifications. Which are very annoying. I need to delete the app after using and download when going to use it. Which is very annoying.

A mess in Mexico. I’ve been using it for a few days and the payment system constantly acts up. I get a message saying the system isn’t working. Because if that I have to repeatedly request the same ride, and any failed request drives up the price. Maybe that’s the strategy. Surge pricing is good, but I sometimes get hit with a substantial extra price without any forewarning. I’d be suspicious of such an incredibly high app rating. It’s easy for DiDi drivers and friends to pack the ratings. If you investigate DiDI online you will find that the company has a very disreputable history. (Months later it’s even worse. Don’t trust fake reviews.) Three months later I get nothing but network error every time I try. Garbage app.

Difficult to get a ride as a first time user. Signed up and was quoted as 3 minutes wait to get a ride to the airport. First driver to accept was 5 minutes away and sat it place for 10 minutes before canceling on me. Second driver was 10 minutes away and canceled 2 minutes from picking me up. Third driver to accept was a few minutes away, immediately started driving in the wrong direction, and canceled a few minutes later. Finally had a driver accept from 12 min away and they picked me up 35-40 min after I was quoted at 3 minutes. I don't know if this was a one off experience, but it definitely added unneeded stress to my morning!

Sometimes Cars take too long to find nearby driver. Good service. May be possible that the demand is higher than the available drivers. And if you are in a hurry you may have to consider another transportation alternatives

Drivers cancel when they know trip is paid by visa. Whenever the drivers know that the trip is getting paid by visa they cancel it, even if they already started the trip and you’re with them. There is no option for us to complain about this. I’ve lost so much money because every time the drivers decide not to complete the trip, the app charges me for the Fare base.

Worst app even! 5 star reviews are probably paid by the app. I bet they pay people to write the reviews! This is one of the worse ride sharing app I have ever use. It’s absolutely useless. I can’t even add a credit card cause the “system is busy” all the time. Referrals never work. I tried requesting a ride and it kept glitching and not requesting one. What a sham of an app. I have had friends who used it to request rides and the drivers keep cancelling and when you cancel the ride, they charge you. You can’t reach a human being in the support so they couldn’t get a refund.

Suddenly Disabled Foreigners’ Bank Cards. Seething as I almost missed my flight because DiDi decided in the middle of the night to disable the bank card in my DiDi wallet—without any warning! I tried frantically re-adding it. I also tried to use Alipay (which they also suddenly decided they won’t permit foreigners to use). C’mon—you need to WARN people before pulling this rubbish. Very unprofessional and sloppy. In the end I had to switch to Meituan because DiDi was all messed up.

Card info stolen and used for fraud. I used this app while in Costa Rica and provided the app with my USA bank card information. A day later my card had been used on a number of Russian web sites. I am positive it was the fault of this Chinese company/app, DiDi, that is either compromised, or it is deliberately selling/sharing USA card holders data (the USA decided yesterday to delist this company from the US stock exchange, can’t help but to notice the coincidence. Retaliation maybe?

Good Drivers… If they ever accept.. Using this app in Japan, the two drivers I had were friendly taxi drivers, and the rate was acceptable. But the glaring problem is, despite there supposedly being many drivers nearby, they waste my time by accepting and then cancelling, or just rejecting the drive request. Eventually the only drivers who accept are very far away and take a long time to arrive. As a result, this issue eventually cost me my international flight out of Japan, a day’s worth of time and hundreds of dollars to buy a new flight ticket. DiDi, I would pay $10-20 if it means you didn’t waste my time and hundreds of dollars trying to catch a flight. I’m really disappointed with your system’s poor driver management.

No customer service. I wasn’t able to verify my credit cards because the verification amounts DIdi sends my US cc get converted to US dollars so they become inaccurate. I also tried uploading an Australian debit card which the system outright rejected. I emailed Customer Service several times and the responses clearly showed they weren’t reading my email and just sending me the same information that was in their FAQ. Unfortunately I won’t be able to use this app even though I would really like to.

The app doesn’t work with reward points. You can use the app fine, but once you figure out how to apply the points to your ride, the taxi doesn’t become available. This has happened multiple times. I apply the points and they won’t come, but they come when no points are applied. Also, even when points aren’t applied, it’s difficult to get service even with cars nearby.

Late Arrivals. I’m never ordering food again in this app. It took 2 hours for my order to arrive, and 2 deliverers cancelled when they were at the restaurant. When they finally picked my food, they had to deliver to 3 other people and it took even longer. This happened before and I thought it wouldn’t happen again, but it did.

Terrible costumer service. I was charged double what I was supposed to and I never heard back from them that was 5 months ago all they did was send a 50% off coupon that never worked...... don’t waist your time get Uber or Lyft

Annoying advertising!. Constantly, this app reminds me why I deleted my account the last time: There is absolutely no way to not get irrelevant notifications and ads, what totally decreases my user experience to a bare minimum. For now, I want to keep the app as an alternative to Uber, but since I didn’t use it yet, it’s just a matter of days maybe weeks, and as soon as I’ll leave this country, I will delete my account no matter what. Why on earth do you not have any setting to stop these annoying messages and emails?!

Double charged. Today I used DiDi to get from Chatan to Naha Airport. Once I arrived at Naha Airport the driver proceeded to try and run my card. I told him that DiDi charges the card that’s in the app but he wouldn’t listen. He wouldn’t allow me to get my bags out of the trunk until he could run my card. I even opened up the credit card app on my phone and showed him the pending charge from DiDi which he brushed off and ran my card a second time. My taxi ride cost me 90 dollars instead of 45.

First timer. Also was hesitant to use this app. I had never heard of it and after learning about and getting explained how it worked I downloaded it and played with it a bit and read reviews. It was the best thing we did to transport us to and from places. The drivers very knowledgeable, passionate, respectful, and willing to help your needs. The best of all is that you can pay cash!! Would we have known about this source of transportation when we flew in we would of used it from the get go. The transportation from the airport to hotel was really pricey.

Long waiting times. Sometimes drivers that are near me won't accept the ride and I have to wait many minutes until the app says that there aren't drivers available when they clearly are, in Cabify you always get a driver eventually.

Very bad service in Mexico. I experienced DiDi food delivery service in Mexico, and DiDi is the worst delivery service. I ordered food with discount coupon from DiDi’s app, the driver disappeared, restaurant wanted me to take their food and paid in cash full price. I contacted customer service and there was no response at all. They charged my credit card. Please don’t use it. I reported them online through their App and Facebook page, it happened that a lot of people had the bad service not only me.

Horrible Service/Driver Accountability. I have been living abroad in Colombia for almost a year now, and I have had countless horrible experiences with the app. The worst being that there is no driver accountability. I constantly have trips cancelled because I prefer to pay with card. I am told “sorry, I don’t take card” and drivers will cancel on me and leave me waiting to find a ride for up to an hour at a time. These drivers are failing to reel in a profit for the company, and have given me a horrible image of DiDi. I would not recommend this app. Just use Uber, which is far more reliable and consistent.

App has stopped working entirely. I used to get DiDi’s all the time, it is an amazing service. However the last month or so has seen both my partner and I unable to request a driver. He have an up to date payment history, and a near perfect railing. However, despite telling me there’s a dozen cars in the immediate area, I can never get connected with one. It constantly just shows it’s looking for a driver, yet it never connects me with one. I hope this is fixed because I’d love to resume using DiDi. For now, however, I can’t recommend this app to anybody considering downloading not to mention my own fans and supporters

It thinks I’m at the airport?. I work at DFO as a barista and that means Didi is impossible to be helpful for me. The only times I need to call a ride is if I need to quickly get somewhere after work since public transport to and from DFO is very slow. However whenever I try to use Didi it assumes I am at the airport, which not only increases the cost of my ride, but it also only gives me the option for the car to pick me up at the Domestic or International airport ?? Which is clearly not where I am. I’ve tried everything to change the pick up spot to 9th Avenue at DFO/Skygate (since it’s a great pick up area and Uber works fine with it) but it doesn’t work, so I’m forced to use Uber unfortunately, since it doesn’t get confused about me being at DFO. If Didi could please update their pick up spots and what counts as the airport that would be much appreciated, until then I can’t use Didi very much.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. The driver I had in Perth, WA was extremely rude, when he first arrived to pick me up firstly I apologised for the time as it was quite late and he just grunted at me then I asked him if it was okay for him to take me to my destination and then wait for me till I got money out at the ATM and then bring me back home after and he said that it was fine, BUT once I arrived at my stop and got out the car he locked the doors and drove off without me!!! My phone went flat so I couldn’t order another or call a friend for a lift home so I had to walk! I’m still recovering from a brain injury and I’m still in physical therapy for walking and what would have taken around 15 mins for anyone else took me an hour to get home! I will NEVER EVER use this service again!

Extremely rude driver. Me and my brother had a ride today with a driver. We were just having a peaceful normal conversion. The drive SUDDENLY TURNED THE MUSIC TO MAXIMUM that was so irritating and annoying. We thought he did that accidentally or was having some mechanical issues. At the end I asked him what happened, he then TOLD US TO BE QUIET DURING THE RIDE, HAVE GOOD MANNER AND SHOULD HAVE SHUT UP. WOW When we left the car, HE YELLED, MADE FUN OF US AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT. I hope he did not use any drugs or alcohol as it was early morning and he was driving but looking at his behaviour, I was very concerned. I have been riding with Uber for 6 years and have Uber One. During some peak hours, Uber sometimes does not have enough drivers. That is why I downloaded Didi app in case of that. I have ridden with many Didi drivers as well and most of them were very nice. This is the first time I experience this level of rudeness. And I am proud of being a good customers with great understanding for people working in customer service as I also do that for living too. This experience was extremely terrible.

Charged for a service that was never delivered.. It’s been over a month since the incident. I ordered a Didi to come pick me up. Waited for a few minutes for the driver to arrive but suddenly my phone buzzes and notifies me that my trip has been completed. I emailed DiDi asking for a refund. It was only $7.50 BUT A SERVICE SHOULD NOT BE CHARGING A CUSTOMER IF NO SERVICE IS PROVIDED. Weeks later, I got a SMS that my refund will be processed within 7-14 days. 7-14 days have passed and still nothing. Then I get an email that $6 will be refunded within the next 7-14 days. I replied and asked why I was being refunded $6 when I was charged $7.50? I have proof of everything yet they have yet to refund me. Poor service. I will make sure I tell everyone not to use this service.

No stars for these thieves. These people let drivers take trips without the customers in it and then when you complain and ask for a refund they only give you a $10 voucher no matter how much they stole from you on the ride you paid for but didn’t get. I fought these morons for two months to get my money back just so I could finally cancel my account. After they put the money back into my account after two months it still took over two weeks to clear. It’s clear to me that this company would still rather take your money than provide you with any kind of decent service. Nothing but outright thieves! Oh and just an added note I did get my money back after contacting the consumer ombudsman in my state.

Horrible driver and service. Have been using DiDi for a few years. It was ok at first, but drivers service getting worst and worst over the year. It neither cancel on you for no reason, driver driving further and further away from your pick up spot for no reason (it is in suburb area and you can make a U turn by making a right/left turn), stop at very far away and ask you to walk to where they park instead when there is clearly a parking spot at your pick up location. If you cannot walk to their car in time, you will got charge as you are not ‘show up’ in time. Customer service next to none. So why bother getting ride with DiDi driver if the driver and service provider didn’t even respect their customer.

Slow. The app is very slow when trying to find address. Also today I had to request three times for a ride when there was at least half a dozen cars in the area. Plus before I could request the ride I had to confirm an amount which had been taken out of my account which admittedly was only 60c but until I looked at my account and entered this amount I could not request a ride. Supposedly I found out it was a promo thing but very annoying. Anyhow I gave it three stars. Two rides so far. First horrible nearly hit by another car when the driver ran a give way sign. Second trip 5 stars. But I can confirm it is cheaper then Uber. But I really like Uber’s platform. More user friendly. Take note DiDi...

Never using again!. Every time I have used this app (as well as my friends who have used it) there has been a stuff up in one way or another meaning I’ve had to rebook a trip WHILE STILL IN THE CAR and have had money taken from my account for trips that never arrived. The app has cancelled my rides while charging me multiple times and even when I am in the car on a trip my order would be cancelled and the driver would just drop me off at that point. I was also hassled by a driver at one point who claimed that their app wasn’t registering payments so I would have to pay them in cash ($60!) to continue the ride, which I quickly proved wrong as the money had already been taken out. Worst ride share app ever, never recommending to anyone!! Use Ola or Uber, they may not have as many discounts but at least those won’t try to scam you as readily!!

Complete scam & no customer service. I have used every platform under the sun to get their attention in issuing me a refund for a trip I did not take that was in a completely different state to where I live and all I keep getting from them is “you will hear from us within 24 hours” it has been a week and I’m going round and round in circles it’s disgusting. I’m in severe financial hardship and the money taken out of my account was all I had to pay for my groceries, I’ve gone a week hungry because they took money I needed out and won’t refund back to me. I called multiple times and kept getting the same answer and then finally someone says something different but even worse “we cannot issue a refund because you have completed the trip” like how many times do I have to tell and scream and try to get your attention to have to repeat myself that I DID NOT DO THE TRIP, IT WAS IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STATE, IM IN SEVERE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND CANNOT AFFORD TO USE THIS SERVICE!!!! Gosh I want to shoot whoever created DIDI!!!!

Quite possibly the worst service anyone can provide. Recently used didi after a night out with friends as they said they would come quicker then other driving services. Was a lot more expensive then other services but we didn’t mind too much because we wanted to leave quickly. Driver was terrible and sped most of the time, leading to me feeling nauseous, he Seemed grumpy about something and basically ignored us. After he dropped us off about 3Ish days later, we got charged $80!! For a ‘cleaning fee’ guaranteed we did nothing to dirty or spilled nothing in the car. If you want to be spending upwards of $100 for a ride which makes you feel unsafe, by all means use Didi. Otherwise please save your wallet and sanity and use some other driving service

Easy to navigate. Super easy to navigate ride share app with no bugs. Easy to figure out what I want to do, the cost of a ride, different stops I can make, and overall very user friendly in settings and payments. So far I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the discounts and free rides, and have encouraged others to use it when in a difficult situation with no car etc. so far have been super impressed with most of the drivers and their service and cars. Haven spoken to a few of them, they also seem to really enjoy the app and the difference it is bringing to ride sharing. I’ve really been enjoying the past month with Didi and can’t fault it.

Dodgy and can’t be trusted with credit cards. UPDATE TO DIDIs REPLY: It’s just lip service. I have attempted resolving the issue numerous times as per my review, with no success. The suggestion that it’s not acceptable is great, so why don’t they proactively reach out to me and resolve it. Don’t mistake their response as if they are reputable or care. —— I was baited with 50% off for first 3 rides. All you had to do was book your ride and in order to do that you had to setup a payment method of course. You’re then then assured the 50% will be applied at the end, but it wasn’t. After they take payment you can only contact them via email. They only respond once ignoring all your proof that they owe you money. First response was that they checked and they did apply 50% suggesting a normal ride is twice the cost of Uber. After this I’ve received emails and SMS offering 50% on the next 3 rides. You try to apply the voucher and it says I’m the wrong user Caregory. You email them about that and they say they don’t believe they offered it to me even though I’ve provided screen shots. Just like scammers, the money is gone and you can’t do anything to hold them to account.

DiDi is sham!!. I loved DiDi always had great drivers!! But here’s the shame so:- In the weekend I did a two stop trip we pre ordered takeaway to pickup and then onto home some 8 blocks away. We got out to grab the takeaway and he left, I then watched him on the APP complete the trip. I tried to say he didn’t complete the trip correctly but because he drove there while leaving us back at first stop he collected the fare. Customer should have the right to dispute he left two women at night time in a car park, want to know why the rates increased!!! Bs DiDi!! Just because he went there doesn’t mean he had his customers in the car! We walked home! This guy was a pig from the start wouldn’t let me sit in the front I’m 6ft leg room is a thing!! Was arrogant picked up the fare it said 4 mins away took him almost 20 to get to us! 3k on a Saturday!

Totally scam app. I want to give them - stars … First time when I check the price it was like $40 but it changed the price when I try to pay $50 also driver took the wrong way . There’s construction working . But he didn’t pay attention and he went to the wrong way which is dead end .. it was totally his fault . And I had to pay more than $60 in the end . Because it took more time than estimated time . I claimed to get my money back around $10 . Cuz driver took the wrong way . But customer just sent me the auto reply . Eventually I couldn’t get the money . Actually I replied again to them . But they didn’t answer anymore … it seems customer service is chat bot or something Anyway don’t use this scam app You’d better to stick with Uber

Fake drivers! Be extremely careful using DiDi!!. My wife and I tried using DiDi for the first time today. The first and second ride went well however from Flemington in Melbourne we received two fake drivers back to back on two separate accounts. The driver who turned up for my wife was driving a car with a completely different licence plate. He was forceful but finally drove off when we threatened to call the police. I then booked using my phone. The driver should have arrived with plate 1QD 7VX, yet a car work plate 1QD 7VY arrived. He claimed it was a licensing error. This is a warning to everyone using this app to think of your safety and to think twice about who is authorising these drivers to use this app. Be safe, think twice and maybe pay a bit more and use Uber. However please check the driver and plates before getting into the car.

An hour to travel 20 minutes. I live in a capital city with a population of 2.6 million people yet find it almost impossible to get a ride. Most of the time I have to plan my trip at least an extra 45 minutes ahead as several drivers will either accept then immediately cancel (they probably get a higher fare on a different app) or accept then drive in the wrong direction for 15 minutes before cancelling, when someone finally does accept the trip they normally aren’t any closer than 10 minutes away (most the time they are 15 minutes away. And yeah normal trip is only an 18 minute drive from an inner suburb into the cbd, it shouldn’t take 45 minutes to an hour to reach my destination… unless I was taking public transport which isn’t really feasible (due to an 800m walk to the bus stop). What’s worse is when you have to cancel on them because they are driving several kilometres in the complete wrong direction and aren’t answering your phone calls only to get surcharged when rebooking the trip, I normally call a taxi when that happens because it’s gonna be cheaper or the same price as the surcharges.

Thiefs drivers. STAY AWAY! You pay for what you get! Left ofc accidentally my bag and rang straight away, he didn’t bother answering or getting in contact at all. Contacted DiDi customer service (they were very helpful), who rang another contact of the driver who states nothing was left. Besides cash in the wallet he stole my wallet with all the documents, credit cards, earphones and my phone, which he promptly switched off after tracking him on find my iPhone and tried to call to arrange a drop off. Hopefully Karma will take care of it for all the stress caused and the pictures of my babies I ll never get back. DiDi should have a better selection for their driver, his mobile was going through an app and impossible to contact

Scam - Avoid. Did i is so unreliable and unaffordable that it’s close to a scam. Their drivers will cancel the trip booked after you’ve waited for a long time, and this will happen at least 6 times before a car will actually get you. The drivers are also working on Uber while on Didi, so sometimes you will book a trip, and they will drive straight past you and keep driving without cancelling your trip, while waiting for a more expensive ride to be booked, and hope that you cancel so they get paid a cancellation fee from you.. Never ever use this service, it’s a scam and you will never get anywhere in time.

Discrimination against single mothers. Twice this has happened within two months, didi drivers have cancelled my ride as soon as they see that I have a baby with me, I have no other way of transport, I take the didi to the nearest train station so that it’s easier for me, and they refuse to drive me simply bc I have a baby, I always have a car seat and I’ve set the car seat up with my baby in it all locked up and secure ready to go and he canceled my ride right as we were ready to go, said that he cannot take babies, my pram has a car seat in it, I take it everywhere it’s an amazing pram, he asked me to put my baby on my lap, I refused and said no I won’t put my child in danger, I have him in his car seat, he lie and say that his car won’t take car seats, I’ve already got it all set up ready to go, left me shaken and in an anxiety attack bc this was late in the afternoon I was trying to get home, the first time I was canceled he left me in the middle of traffic with a baby, disgusting behaviour I do not recommend didi especially if you’re a single mother

Excellent overall experience. I like the app which has better real time updates on driver location and count of seconds and minutes before my job has been picked up. I like the drivers who are friendly, observant and respectful of my mood... they will not ask me a bunch of questions if I indicate that I am busy or do not really want to talk ... they will respond to my questions respectfully and openly if I am in the mood to talk on my journey. I have always been picked up at legal and safe points. I’m always happy to work with a driver in this and I’m glad the drivers I have had have been willing to work with me on this as well.

Communist attitudes. On riders side: Do not be a fool by thinking didi paid drivers more. First of all they came to Sydney market in March 2020 and they have no choice by taking drivers 20% commission. They do not look after drivers at all instead they penalised drivers when riders cancel on them and totally out of drivers control. Communist behaviour like this they will fail. Give them time. Drivers do not take didi app seriously and speaking to lots of drivers at the airport they don’t care if they get ban from driving on didi app. No wonder there are no cars on the road when riders try using them. On driving side: Do not drive for didi either or just use them as they use you and they will suspend your account if riders cancel on you too many times which is out of drivers control. They will penalised driver for riders cancellation. Total Waste of time registering with them. Or Just use them behave bad and let them cancel your account. You got nothing to loss.

Worse than Uber but great intro discounts. App UX is buggy - wanted to tip the driver but another dialogue was blocking the tip button. And generally things are constantly getting in the way or closing on their own. GPS is imprecise - was waiting on the street under pouring rain as the driver pulled into the long driveway of the flats next door. Another driver parked on the other side of a major road, and to make things more confusing his license plate was indicated incorrectly in the app (and yes it was raining again). Drivers take twice as long to arrive post-booking than the Uber drivers. Can’t see how and why this could compete with Uber which is so much more streamlined. The introductory discounts are great but are due to expire in 2 days, and so far what this service offers is neither better nor even on the par of Uber...

Stupiest app on earth. Although DiDi is usually cost than Uber. I would say this app is trash. Experience many times where there were driver pick up the drive and we waited there for ten or more than ten mins long and the driver just cancelled the ride when he is nearly arrive at the pick up point. Sometimes this happen within the same hour multiple times. Yes you are right, I spent an hour waited for a drive. Why didn't I just used Uber? Also meet so many drivers who do not have their car matched the one showed on their profiles. Extremely irresponsible act that is. There are also drivers who pick up the ride and then stops at 300 metres away from the pick up point and said they’ve already arrived when the traffic is good, and I messaged them and they just simply don’t reply but rather waited after the two mins waiting time to charged me cancellation fees. After they the app automatically charged me the fee exceeding the waiting time. THESE DRIVERS JUST CANCEL THE RIDE AND LEAVE! Can’t believe how this app works and what kinda people is driving the rides. I have some many bad experiences about DiDi, you really need to filter the people that drive.

Best service in the “taxis” industry.. I’ve been using DiDi for a while now, not once have I had a problem. They’re really considered of their customers, there’s constant monitoring of the trips back and forth. On multiple occasions I’ve been upgraded to DiDi max for free. The funds that were taken out of my account for authorisation have been placed back in my account literally 5 minutes after the cancelled trips. Drivers are really fast and they don’t make you wait. You get the exact location where the drivers picking you up and a picture. Which I had quite bit of problem with Uber regarding this case. Prices on the app are quite cheap and reasonable. It’s a lot more cheaper and helpful then Uber. 1000% recommend this app if you use car services like me a lot!!

Drivers abusing didi rules. Didi had always been my first choice when I need a ride but this issue had happened way too many times. The driver just moves away from my pick up point and I had to pay the cancellation fee! This is outrageous. When I tried to find help in the help section, the help section only has two options resolved and unresolved but clicking in unresolved doesn’t do anything for me. I couldn’t describe the problem or anything.

Worst response time. I have contacted DiDi helpcenter via email as soon as i got home when realised i left my phone, wallet and a bag. It took them 4hours to reply to my email and further 24hours to provide the number of the driver that i could contact. I have recieved no updates during the time (ie 24 hours) ive waited for a response and when i contacted the driver which was 1 and a half day after the incident, the driver has advised that my items were missing. I know that other services like Uber has better interactive and faster communication services which could have resolved my issue... Ill definitely not recommend this service to anyone due to worst responsive time and communication service..... No contact number or even online chat available.....

Dunno whats up lately. Iv been using didi for few years now & have had minor issues that have always usually been resolved at the time so real complaints but lately i dunno whats going on but when i try to book a new ride it just seems to do NOTHING! It doesnt show any gps or driver locations & looks like its booking a trip but then does nothing more & only gives 1 option to cancel. I sat one day waiting for over an hour thinking it was glitch with device & that a car would still arrive but never did & never actually said it was but yet i got charged the booking for nothing & iv redownloading the app few times & iv tried updating with software & cant even contact customer service anymore & latest is i have vouchers but none of my payment methods are no longer verified & not available.. so about to delete the app & give up trying to fix it & just continue on my way with uber coz least their app works! Cheers

WORST DRIVER QUALITY. There’s half of the time I booked a ride and the driver was never approaching to my pick up point!! I have waited for a long time and even contacted the driver but got no response! If the driver cannot do the ride than why do they pick the order up??? I don’t mind if they can’t do it then just please cancel it, but they hold up your time instead and I have to wait for another 5-10mins to cancel the ride before I can reorder one so that I won’t be charge for the stupid cancellation fee. Those drivers deserve a penalty fee for those behaviour seriously!! It happened serval times not only once or twice! What’s the point to use your service if I was in a hurry?

Do not use! Use Ola or Uber. Absolutely appalling. Ordered a DiDi and the driver picked up my fare whilst doing another one. I had to wait nearly half an hour for him to ‘finish’ his trip. So I cancelled it and they said I’d be CHARGED!! A fee for not wanting to wait for someone else who is ages away when there were closer drivers. You shouldn’t let drivers pick up fares who will then have to make them wait. I’m in pain and live with chronic illness and rely on this transport. Second time I tried after I cancelled it they said we’re going to charge you in advance just as a safeguard, like it’s MY fault! And I’m being reprimanded or am untrustworthy because I didn’t want to be made to wait. DISGUSTING! Just user Ola or Uber it’s way better.

Outrageous pricing. Now don’t get me wrong didi is typically the cheaper alternative and I never had any issues with them until now. Only last ride I did had the estimated price as $23 of which I know can change but in the end the price was $53 I always use didi for the same route and it has never gone over $30 before and when I contacted there “help centre” what I get back in return is basically them saying I should have check the estimated price before hand absolutely disgusting that they dare blame me for my fare adding up to that price at least Uber gives you the exact amount of what you will pay I will never use didi again.

SCAMS!. When the driver called the first time we asked him to wait 3’ if that’d be ok, he told us to “Take your time” along with something else (counldn’t hear him clearly because of the accent) , so we thanked him for waiting. He hung up after that, so we assumed everything was alright. When we were done checking out shortly afterwards, We asked where he was and wait for a few minutes. We also called him multiple times but he didnt pick up. He repeatedly messaged us to cancel the trip. No explanation was given but as he was no where to be seen we were forced to cancel the trip and charged $4. (Then we booked another trip but the driver never showed up and we couldnt contact him. He got further and further away from us and we waited for 25’ only to realize he was going in the opposite direction and was obviously NOT going to pick us up. Eventually I was forced to cancel the trip again, thankfully this time we weren’t charged. But we waited for almost half an hour outside and eventually had to book an Uber) I sent a complaint asking for a refund but judging from the other reviews I doubt I’d receive any.

FIX YOUR APP. Every time for the last month onwards I’ve gone to order a ride it will say it’s searching for/finding a driver nearby only to leave me waiting for 20+min without any drivers accepting no matter how many times I cancel/reorder. I just deleted and redownloaded the app hoping that may fix the issue only now when I confirm the trip it briefly shows up saying “planning route” then it disappears and nothing further happens, it doesn’t even start to find a driver nothing. FIX YOUR APP CLEARLY THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH IT AS CURRENTLY IT IS USELESS

Terrible customer service - stick to Uber!. My account got hacked and a third party was using my linked bank account to make trips. I changed my password and informed DiDi. A representative asked asked me a heap of questions then later told me that it was not deemed to be an “Acount-take-over” and so I was not eligible for a refund. I have no idea what information they based this on, as my phone was with me at all times - an hour away from where the trips took place. If this was Uber they would have refunded me immediately - no questions asked! I have always preferred Uber over DiDi due to reliability and so the app has been inactive on my phone for a good few months. Rest assured that after this incident it is getting deleted!

Didi app navigation is not quite goo. First review about ride share on app. Didi navigation is lagging compare to Uber and directing driver to wrong address who was claimed me putting wrong address but obviously I can see on Didi map that mark my correct address but navigation wrong street name to driver. The map is so slow updating current location especially on freeway, Uber is better to show a quite exact location. I’m not a fan of Uber as Didi drivers stated they got more payments from DiDi than Uber. This is a cons but from technology point of view Uber is better. The price estimated on Didi is less than Uber but final price is always higher than estimated and pretty much same as Uber cost. Another cons of Didi is they don’t show car photo. For many trips using Ride share, I think Uber is still the best of them all. Didi is starting with cheaper rate but when it get more customers they are not cheap anymore.

Zero customer service help. I’ve had issues with the drivers cancelling on me which I have been charged for twice for reasons that weren’t through fault of my own, and I lodged a report of the incidents and in three months still haven’t had a refund or heard back from them. I have also had a driver say they will refuse to pick you up from certain areas due to police. I had a driver who wouldn’t cross the road to pick me up from my location and I couldn’t get to the driver due to the dangerous road I would have had to cross to reach the car, and so the driver left me there and cancelled the trip charging me as opposed to just meeting me on the other side of the road and I’m not even able to pin my location on the app so the driver knows the pickup point despite the address being right there in front of them which is a completely redundant feature to have to do in the first place.

Honestly a scam - ride with another company!. I occasionally use DiDi as an alternative to Uber and I’ve now had so many issues it’s worth paying a higher price to have a seamless experience. I’ve been charged for a phantom trip (literally never took the ride) which I tried to get refunded but couldn’t get a response from their customer service team after multiple attempts. I’ve had other small hiccups since then which are a pain but not enough to stop using them. Now after my latest (and last ride) with them, I took the trip, got out at my destination and then continued to be charged for the ride for about 30 mins after I got out. I tried reaching the driver who eventually closed the ride but then I got charged double 🙄 Called customer service straight away, they struggled finding the ride info even though it was the latest one in my account and eventually said they would fully refund me and would send an email to confirm I’d been refunded… neither of which I’ve received. Won’t ever be using them again. Save yourself time, money and headaches - ride with another company.

Such a scam. Tried it and all drivers refused to take my trip cause it’s “not far enough and doesn’t worth the trip” but still deducted my $1 as I put in my card details. Another occasion where it was suppose to be a $29-30 trip and did not realise this app calculate the fare according to “minutes” and km just like a normal taxi, plus all sorts of extra like highway fee and stuff like that. The driver ended up driving around the city into the busiest road where we waited for ages and pretend to go to the wrong road or something and the whole trip ended up costed double. He also almost ran into someone which was so unprofessional, honestly just get Uber or Ola cab, wayyy better service and at least don’t scam you like this.

Extremely poor driver conduct. The driver forced me out of the 10 km away. The driver physically threatened me. The driver verbally abused me. I reported to Didi with full details. I didn’t receive any information back. I was charged full trip price. Didi customer service is a joke. Even after writing 20 emails. Same plain vanilla response. Didi is allowing poor drivers to hurt passengers. Their final response is that we have unmatched you from this driver. But we are happy for the driver to continue with the bad behaviour. Even after 20 emails with DiDi Customer Service and DiDi Safety Team, I was not informed of any action taken against the driver. Writing to DiDi Customer Service is a waste of time. I’m now going to report this whole episode to Consumer Affairs Victoria.

trash. In the bus every day, the company also made the corresponding preferential activity, but when take breaks to get a ride a very interesting things happened, originally should be very happy spending the least money to travel, the driver don't pick list, you can see around the park a lot of car, so you have no way to quickly get a car, you can only repeat helplessly waiting, the most exasperating is favourable activity is given the company cannot cancel, so the consumption down to hold up a lot of time, and also take less than a car, it is only in this way, don't want to because the driver's rogue manner delay the travel of more people, We hope didi can create a good travelling environment for everyone

Scary and unreliable. I’ve had two experiences with DiDi, both of which were absolutely terrible. One time I sat at the side of the road on my birthday when all my friends had left to go home and my last bus had stopped running- I watched drivers accept and then cancel my request for almost 40 minutes, some driving towards me for five minutes or more and then cancelling. Eventually I got an Uber which picked me up within a couple minutes even though it was pricey. The second time, the driver locked the doors and kept them locked until I agreed to give him five stars. In future I’m going to stomach the extra $7 or so for an Uber. Both times I felt very alone and vulnerable and not at all safe or like I could rely on being picked up and delivered home safely.

Not always worth the low price. Even though the prices are low, 9/10 times I have to cancel the job and go to another app because the drivers aren’t coming towards me and taking forever to get to my location. Twice I witnessed a driver go the opposite way to make the trip longer? I don’t know if that’s because they want to earn more money? I call them and they don’t answer to explain why. It’s a bit ridiculous to have to wait 20mins for a driver to come when they’re driving the opposite way on purpose.

Unauthorised transactions. DiDi has a very bad habit of charging fares in addition to the quoted fare: toll road fees when no toll roads were taken, waiting fees when the driver goes to the wrong pick up point, etc. There is no easy way to get in touch using the app and when you dispute additional fees they are either dismissed or they don’t respond at all. I’d avoid using DiDi for these reasons as these issues don’t arrive on Uber or Lyft. Update: from the developer response you can see what I mean. They fob off their errors as “normal” and the app doesn’t make it easy to question a fare… and if you do you get form responses like the developer response which fail to address the issues.

Cheap, but not worth the frustration. Honestly, more often than not DiDi is cheaper than an Uber ride. However the app has been so dysfunctional for such a long time that I would rather pay the almost double price of Uber than to put myself through the inevitable frustration. The app is riddled with bugs. Simple things like sending a message to your driver have not worked for (at least) months; if there’s an option to contact support it must be in a super obscure spot because I’ve not found it; you currently can’t update the destination or add a stop to the journey; the trip sharing safety feature doesn’t work etc

First Didi experience. I spent close to 25 mins after 9pm trying to get home from the supermarket with my groceries due to two drivers canceling after almost reaching my pickup. It’s clear that ride share companies favour drivers over riders paying for fares- otherwise they would be charged for canceling our trips yet only charge riders for canceling? Every time a driver cancels a trip especially after being 100m from the pick up point, the worth of the scheduled trip should go into the rider’s account as a credit. I also don’t like that it automatically tries to reallocate the job without asking, if several drivers have canceled and wasted the rider’s time and patience. It doesn’t think that we may seek other alternatives eventually. I deleted the Uber app after 3 years of using it daily due to recently being racially abused by a driver then kicked out as soon as I got in and had to fight Uber for several days repeating myself over and over to get my money back. I’m hoping that Didi’s experiences improve. Looking at the price of the fares between the two they are very much the same and not cheaper at all.

No customer service / Bug when changing destination. I would like to start off with the scenario- I had an important event I had to get to and pick up a friend on the way for which I took Didi. Planned my trip such that I could reach before time. The ride started but then we faced huge traffic and it was obvious I will be late for the event so I thought I will change my location and not pick up my friend on the way and reach directly there but when I tried to do that, it just said “Currently unable to change destination”. Waited for 10 minutes, and tried again and again and again, still the same. No option to call customer support as well because it was after 6pm. All in all had no option other than to sit in misery. So never will take Didi when I really need to get somewhere on time.

The most USELESS app ANYONE could possibly get. I ordered a trip for 2 stops and as I was getting picked up I nearly got hit BY THE DRIVER THEMSELVES then I came back with a big box and they wouldn’t open the boot of the car for me and they wouldn’t allow me to put it on the seat and they “accidentally” canceled the rest of the trip after I paid the full price and they wanted me to pay extra money that I didn’t have to finish the trip then I had to get another ride home instead of getting my tablets then I complained about it to didi and instead of getting a refund of $15 like it said I ended up getting a $10 voucher then I chose to call DiDi and they hung up then I called again and I’ve only spoke to 2 people for 2 minutes then they put me on hold for an hour and now I have to choose between getting kicked out of my house or waiting for a while to get the medication that I need!!!!!!! I would NOT recommend this app to anyone not EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!!! I think this app should be reported and I’ve had so much problems with this app so I rather walk days then get another one…… 😤😠😡🤬 TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW NEVER GET THIS APP YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Unhappy.. Uber is way better. I ordered a driver to marion and the bloke was very impatient. Then i orderd one back And the driver never came and said the location was wrong he didn't say anything about cancelling the ride himself and my friend was then charged for it then he called out another person which my friend and i did not ask for and she got charged again. Because he WENT TO THE SAME WRONG LOCATION. My friend and i are very unhappy and she is now being charged not only for one that she asked for but two. Then the company responded to her email asking why she was charged and they said oh we are only paying half back because we are nice? Nice WHATTTTT We WANT A FULL REFUND not just half we didnt ASK TO CANCEL AND We didnt ASK TO GET ANOTHER DRIVER HOW RUDE I WILL NEVER SAME WITH MY FRIEND USE THIS PLATFORM AGAIN.

I give up. I’ve tried riding with DiDi multiple times and have never had a successful trip. I’ve stood on the street at night while the ‘time waiting’ ticks up and up for 15 minutes yet have never been connected to a driver. I’ve requested a trip and the app has shown a mostly blank screen without even getting to the point where ‘time waiting’ or ‘connecting you to driver’ appears. They have cheap fares and send me good discounts but I can never use them because the trip never eventuates, either through fault of the app or the logistics with drivers. I’ve really wanted to use DiDi and have given it many chances but I think it’s time to give up.

DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!. First of all, my driver scammed me with an $80 cleaning fee and sent in FAKE pictures of vomit in his car. This man saw an opportunity to take advantage of a young women who was travelling alone at night (completely sober). The customer service team are refusing to deal with me, I have sent them over 10 emails with evidence that I did not do this. I have asked them for a time stamp of the pictures. Customer service is only available via email. To which they respond to me saying "we haven't heard from you, so we are closing this case". I have never experienced such poor service in my life, PLEASE spend the extra dollars and get a taxi that won't take advantage of you.

Traveller in China. The app says to download Didi China but it doesn’t have didi china. Why can’t I use this app like locals in China? Any suggestion?

First Try. Very effective and easy to use for visitors in Hiroshima. If you need a cab. Use this app.

Es una basura. Asquerosa la peor app the por lejos

No options for Canadians in China?. This app won’t work and redirects to download Didi Greater China app, which isn’t available in Canadian App Store. Massively disappointing. I live in China and want to use your service!

Frais. J’ai regardé pour un transport, mais on a le temps que ça va prendre avant l’arrivée du transport, seulement lorsque qu’on confirme. Si ça te convient pas tu l’annule mais il te charge quand même 25 pesos au Mexique. Donc

scam. this app is really a fraud in DR. , I got charged for 20 bucks for something I didn’t to, it takes a lot of time and drivers are not the best.

Don’t bother - use another app. Ordered something , two hours later the order was cancelled because there wasn’t a driver. Couldn’t get thru to support either. Use Uber or Rappi, these apps work and have proper support. Don’t waste your time like I did.

Not for Canadians. Sadly I can’t use it.

Cheap, but drivers cancel last minute often. Cheap rides but I’ve been canceled on multiple times last minute after waiting 15-30min for a ride

Waste of time. Impossible to find a ride in Sydney

Very bad don’t try. شركه نصابه وسواقين استغلالين بياخدوا فلوس كتير وكمان لو فيه باقي المفروض يدخل حسابي بياخذوه ف جيبهم وبيتاخروا وطبعا بياخروك عن مشاويرك Very bad customer service

Does not start trip from Home when I am near Home. I just had to walk around the block because I was at the back of my house when I ordered the DiDi and it decided that I wanted to be picked up from another street. Uber is smart enough to realize if I’m near home that’s where I want to be picked up. DiDi has some work to do on this.

The Chinese male driver discriminated against females.. The Chinese male driver discriminated against females. He hit me and dragged me out of the car midway. I called the police.

Promo Code doesn’t apply. App said I would get a $20 discount after my first ride, but it didn’t register and support is unreachable.

Canadian. Sadly the app also doesn’t work for another fellow Canadian in Shanghai!

dont recommended. trash

Drivers refusing to drive. Drivers will keep accepting your fare then telling you to cancel and refusing to pick you up in an attempt to drive up surge prices for themselves

Don’t try to download the app if you are in Mexico.. Unable to add credit card to payment. Apple Pay is not even an option on the app. Contacted customer support, they told me to write to the Mexican division. The Mexican email support is no longer in operation. Contacted live chat while in Mexico. Service is only in Spanish. Given 800 number to call for service in English, and the 800 tell number is no longer in service.

Great drive. Excellent!

Doesn’t work as you would expect. The app shows 5 drivers close to your location but then matches you to a driver 25 minutes away that is still on a different ride. When you want to cancel because the wait is to longer than the actual ride they make you pay a cancellation fee every time! Even if the driver was still on a different ride and did not drive a single meter to your location yet….

No option for Canadians. Frustrated that this app still isn’t available from the Canadian app store

Very disappointed. As my record from last year shows,I regularly use DD from and to The Harbor in Merida Yuc. Tonight I entered the coordinates as usual but, after a while I realized that the driver was going the wrong way. I told him and he replied that I had entered the coordinates of the Harbor fishing equipment store. I never heard of such store before and why would I go to such place after 9.00 pm beats me. To make ot short I ended up paying 180 pesos instead of 90 and to add insult to injury the driver took advantage of the fact I was in a hurry to give me 300 change instead of 320. This is not the kind of service I expect from DIDI and am expecting a reply at your earliest convenience.

total waste of time in mexico. the drivers always cancel sometimes after leaving you to wait for either a short or long time in some cases making me late for appointments use uber or try any other ride share app unless you enjoy wasting your time

I’ll never use DIDI again. Price gouging and illegal fare refusals. I got stuck at Sydney airport yesterday when I got bumped from an international flight to Canada, after coming to Australia to visit my dying father. Now I’m stuck for a day and a half in a city I don’t know, on a layover I didn’t expect or budget for. A kind stranger offered me a bed for the night if I could get to Stanmore. So I booked a DIDI and proceeded to the app designated pick-up spot. The walkway at the airport was closed so I had to find a way around, and when I arrived (apparently 3 minutes late) the DIDI driver had cancelled my ride and left. This is the second time I’ve ever used DIDI and I’ve never stepped foot outside of Sydney airport before. So I booked another DIDI. The app again designated where I should wait. The DIDI driver called me to ask if I was at international Terminal or domestic terminal, which he should have known because he has my GPS location. I told him I was waiting where the app told me I had to wait. He asked if I would I mind walking to another spot for pick-up since his “tags weren’t working today”. The two terminals are a train stop or a 5 minute shuttle bus apart. I told him it was not my business to be walking miles in cities I don’t know to find my cab driver, he’s supposed to be giving me a lift, he should come find me and all my luggage. So he cancelled my booking. So I booked another DIDI. I got a notification saying “congratulations you’ve been bumped up to DIDI Max” or some such nonsense promising upgraded luxury. This one just cancelled without even speaking to me. Presumably because the fare was too short for his liking. Meanwhile, at this point my fare had gone up from $21 to $36 because of “busy time surge pricing.” It’s not busy, the drivers were all sitting at a park around the corner from the airport, declining or cancelling jobs until they got a fare big enough to suit them, while giving the appearance of being busy and driving the surge pricing up. At this point I decided to give up, go back inside, and sit in the airport crying for the next 36 hours, and then, while I was crying over my luggage I got a sudden and unexpected notification that “my DIDI driver had arrived”. I wasn’t aware I was still being matched with one, and I wasn’t aware I’d agreed to a $38 fare. It was supposed to be $21 for a 9 minute drive. The DIDI driver explained in broken English about the short tip declines from the other drivers and on the way we drove past the park where he pointed out all the DIDI and Über drivers sitting there for hours waiting for a big fare. The DIDI I ended up in was a far cry from luxury and I think the driver may have been the one that initially declined my $21 fare, only to get the same distance later for nearly twice as much. Suffice it to say my experience was most unsatisfactory.

Impossible to use. I have used it only once and every time I want to use it again it is not finding me any driver (Auckland, New Zealand), it allows me to confirm my ride, I can see a car nearby and then all the cars just disappear. Impossible to use.

Will not accept credit card in Japan. Have tried putting 2 different credit cards in app for payment and it will not accept it, the credit card is a visa from Canada

Did not let me cancel the ride request. Went with DiDi in Mexico City as it was a local ride hail app. Couldn’t figure out how to cancel the ride once it was requested since the driver went around the airport pick up while I tried to wave him down and kept on going. Driver parked down the road and the app started the ride even though I was still waiting to be picked up. Couldn’t cancel and I was charged for ride. Ended up opening Uber and getting picked up the first try. Better of using a local taxi or a different ride share app. This was a disaster of an experience that cost me money for a service never rendered.

This version doesn’t work. The version in the Canadian App Store immediately says even once you arrive in China: “DiDi is currently unavailable in your area - Download and ride with DiDi Greater China App which this app attempts to download but isn’t available. Unfortunately it seems you have to change to the American App Store or something like that, but without a US credit card you can not get access.

Doesn’t work in Mexico. App will not go to terms and conditions pages so can’t be installed on my iPhone No good and. Very frustrating

Can’t load - won’t pass the Terms & Conditions. Wanted to try in Mexico but can’t load. Sorry but you lost a customer.

Makes me pay cash 🤦🏼. The first two rides were great!! Now it only allows me to pay cash. I’m in Colombia. The savings over Uber are minimal and I’ll stick with them. Customer service literally did NOT deal with me and called it resolved.

Double identification?.

Unreliable and Unaccountable. You can’t rely on this app to get a ride. You’ll frequently be waiting a long time to get a driver. And then when you get one, the estimated time is nowhere close to reality. On top of that, drivers will often cancel your ride after you’ve been waiting a while to pick someone up on the street. And while Didi charges you if you cancel, not so when the driver bails on you. Every driver has a 5.0 rating, which you know just isn’t true. And lastly, credit card payments often just stop working for no reason.

Waiting. This is the worst app with the worst drivers ever! Period

Online payments don’t work. It’s a nice app, but because of an internal bug online and card payments are not working for some users (as told to me by a support agent). This is incredibly frustrating. They said the only thing to do is wait for the next unknown update. A bug like this you should be fixing much much faster, it should take 2 months.

Bad service. I placed two orders and my card was charged. Both orders were cancelled and Didi says it will refund me the money in 7 days. Horrible service

Very expensive. This app is good only for cab drivers. So expensive for customers and they make it hard when you try to delete your account

Takes to long to find ride. Takes to long to find ride

Fraud/Fraude. I’ve been getting email receipts from this app, I live in the US where this doesn’t even exist in my area. Someone is using my name and email in Columbia . I can’t find customer service number because it isn’t available in my area. I want to be able to ask to delete the account this person is using acting like if it were me.

Awesome. Better Ui, better prices compared to Uber. I will definitely be using this in favor of competitors.

Worst app ever. I will delete the app and till my friends to do the same as the drivers of didi most of the time steel the money instead but the money on customer wallet this is not my first time to be stolen by one of didi driver infavt its second time in the same week And worst customer service as i tried to contact them for a week with no replay

Very expensive. I obtained a quote on the fare I would pay for my trip. I paid double what I was quoted for a trip that would have been cheaper with uber. Also the driver took a different route because he said it would be faster but he took the route without asking me first. I will never ride with DIDi again.

Horrible, Don’t Use. They will rob you.. They stole money from me from a food order. I was left starving and without money. And their customer service is basically none existent. It takes forever to be able to talk to someone real and not a robot who doesn’t understand anything.

Connection error when adding. Foreign credit card. Very frustrating. Unable to add a credit card due to connection error message when saving card info.

Will not illustrate area of service until after you consent to giving up your information. The app will not illustrate area of service until after you consent to giving up your information. It’s a not consumer friendly policy. I suggest doing your research to determine if it’s Available in your area before downloading.

No drivers. This app doesn’t work. I have on several different occasions tried to book a DiDi and it never shows up. Waiting for 10-20 minutes, I end up calling an Uber instead because it is more reliable. Don’t waste your time with DiDi if you’re in Perth. I would love if DiDi could prove me wrong and finally work for once.

Scam. DiDi is a scam plain and simple. The drivers never arrive and all they do is waste your time to drive up the fare when you’re desperately trying to get home. I have absolutely no sympathy for any of the clowns affiliated with DiDi. All this app does is lie about everything from how long it takes to get a ride to the actual amount that they charge you

Doesn’t work in Sydney. Appears to be a bug or it simply doesn’t find cars available. I’ve tried several times over the last 2 weeks, just nothing happens once you order the ride. Blank map screen

Exceptional Rides. I was introduced 2 DiDi and will always use it friendly drivers every time I have taken their service and are very reasonable. Kuddos to them.

Doesn’t work. Had a couple of people in our group download the app. Everybody had their own credit card added. Everytime you try to order a ride, the app says “online payment not available” and that’s that. Customer service chat refers you to an out of service phone number. No choice but to go to Uber. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Awful customer service. I ordered a ride and the price was shown and i accepted it, only when i ARRIVED they shown a completely different price (one without the discount) and i have been trying to contact the support with no useful answers or procedures. awful experience with didi

Three times the price of Uber. Google maps recommends using this service in Mexico City. If you use the app, a trip costs three times more than Uber, if you click via the link in Google Maps the app claims that it does not have connectivity. Totally lame. Very disappointed

Excellent! Although... This app is amazing! I come from the United States and DiDi is more convenient and way better than Uber!! I hope this app grows and get the recognition that it deserves (:

Gone Downhill. I’ve had tons of card problems with DiDi that I haven’t had with other ride share apps. Now they also put a hold on every ride you request, even if you don’t even end up using the service. It doesn’t matter if it’s a temporary hold, 2-15 business days is not convenient at all. Others like Uber and Cabify don’t do this, certainly don’t recommend DiDi anymore.

No notification settings. The app spams me constantly. There is no way to turn off promotional notifications. Which are very annoying. I need to delete the app after using and download when going to use it. Which is very annoying.

Doesn’t support credit cards. I always get a message saying their payment system is busy. Now the app is useless - I can’t order a ride because it’s stuck in a loop wanting to charge a card and it can’t because their system is busy. Keeps telling me to try again later but never works.

Can’t use credit card. I’m in Mexico and the app allows me to add my credit card but won’t let me use it. It’s hard to always have exact cash in hand as drivers claim they don’t have change. It’s very frustrating. I tried to remove my credit card and it won’t even allow me to do that as it claims I still owe a driver . I’m at a loss as what to do anymore

Useless. Auto-generated a security error, could no longer use my credit cards or add new ones. Useless “customer service “ kept asking me to delete the app and reinstall and restart my phone while telling me that all of that is logged on their end. No solution provided . I’ll stick with Uber. At least they know how to operate an app. This one is a bunch of clowns

Terrible. We canceled a ride on the app as the driver was 17 minutes away. DiDi did not inform the driver and he arrived to pick us up. When we weren’t there he sent us many angry messages. Also the wait was often very long. I’m not crazy about Uber but in this situation I used it instead with much better results.

Stop using credit or debit card. The service on Monterrey it went from good to really bad my experience is been going from extra charges on didi to cool food or not food at all on didi food they gave u a coupon for a refund but a day later disappears so sorry didi u were good I don’t know what happen.

Horrible. All of the drivers ask me first if I’m about to pay cash or card, most of them are really disrespectful and I have the experience with one of them that his car only smelled like drugs, sometimes I made the complaint, but the customer service is inexistente. All of the cars are really in bad shape. This is horrible. Dont use DIDi ride

worst thing in mexico. this app is not made for mexico... is complete apecrap that your order it and it gets cancelled all the time (because drivers dont like the fare or they dont like is credit) in non-major cities. To be fair, in major cities is excellent. I've been around but honestly is not for Mexico. I hate it overall.

shows cards as grey payment method por qué no puedo pagar con tarjeta?. I want to order food and added 3 cards but they show as grey when I go to pay for a food order. I’ve tried with food vendors. Highly frustrating. En Hermosillo, Sonora MX y cuando quiero pagar para la comida mis tarjeta parece gris y no puedo pagar, solo con efectivo. Quiero usar el servicio frecuentemente.

Unusable in China despite being a Chinese APP. I downloaded DiDi because apparently everyone in China uses this to call taxi. However the map fails to load constantly, probably because it tries to use Google maps. Why would someone use Google maps in China? It should be common sense that Google is banned in China.

DiDi to become worlds foremost rideshare company in the United States. Very good app and customer service. Highly recommend. Hassle free experience and good pricing

Unreliable. Online payment (as in, using a credit card as opposed to cash) rarely works. So you might be in a pinch wanting a ride but DiDi won’t give you one because it lacks the basic ability for you to pay then reliably. Would recommend people use any other app available instead.

Bad Service in Egypt. Drivers keep complaining about not being paid the credit charge and ask for cash instead. Sometimes paying twice for the ride without getting a refund. DiDi customer service is so bad and doesn’t respond.

Long waiting times. Sometimes drivers that are near me won't accept the ride and I have to wait many minutes until the app says that there aren't drivers available when they clearly are, in Cabify you always get a driver eventually.

This app changes the method of payment to cash intentionally / thiefts.. This app also delivers food. Yesterday I bought some food with my card and the app changed the method to cash (very convenient to hide from taxes from the IRS). I couldn't cancel the order and reach out to their customer service, I had the result, even when I had screenshots proving that my method of payment was my card they didn't do anything. They charge my card and when the food arrived they asked me to pay again in cash, I show the delivery guy a screenshot with the payment, and he called customer service and left with my food. The customer service and their delivery guys are a bunch of thiefts.

Terrible - Easy to be scammed. This app will sometimes tell you “pay taxi fare” and sure enough the driver will ask you for the fare. Meanwhile, you may also be charged separately for the same amount by the app. Disputing is difficult and even if you do manage to come to an agreement to be paid back…they just won’t pay! SCAM!

Garbage App. Rarely do you get a taxi in Okinawa. You can see all the local taxis available, then they turn off when you request. Total garbage! Wait forever to get refused. Then try again because you need a taxi! Get refused! I wish I could see which taxis keep refusing so I can submit feedback to DiDi!

Sometimes Cars take too long to find nearby driver. Good service. May be possible that the demand is higher than the available drivers. And if you are in a hurry you may have to consider another transportation alternatives

Unreliable. In Okinawa, often you may have to wait a varying amount of time for the taxis to even accept you. Most of the time I’m waiting upwards of 7+ mins just to get a confirmation with “4 drivers or more nearby”. I’d say steer clear of this app and take the bus or rent a car. Far more reliable

Customer service / credit card. The app always forces me to pay in cash, which is extremely inconvenient. I sent several messages to customer service and they never replied …. I don’t think I’ll continue using this app if this issue is not solved… and messages are not answered is completely unacceptable

Amazing!!. Wow, just got my first ride and I’m impressed in the rate, couldn’t believe it, definitively saves you money either with card o cash payment.

Didi is great. I moved from uber and I am a fan. More drivers in colombia. The fare showed at all times which is different than in uber. The interface to add credit card was also vert straightforward. Ibg general the interface was more clean.

Not happy. I’m just asking a question. Last night I called And the price was 108 DOP, when I arrived the price goes up to 114. Why the price always changes? It’s not fair

This app changes the method of payment to cash intentionally / thiefts. . This app also delivers food. Yesterday I bought some food with my card and the app changed the method to cash (very convenient to hide from taxes from the IRS). I couldn't cancel the order and reach out to their customer service, I had the result, even when I had screenshots proving that my payment method was my card they didn't do anything. They charged my card and when the food arrived they asked me to pay again in cash, I showed the delivery guy a screenshot with the payment, and he called customer service and left with my food. The customer service and their delivery guys are a bunch of thieves.

Only works for car, dont use the food delivery option. 1. In Costa Rica, you can only use if you have cash, no bank cards were accepted. Food delivery and car delivery work well. 2. In Mexico, you can use card, but it is useless for food delivery. Overall, in consistent experience that truly doesn’t provide a good customer experience.

Nobody accepts. Drivers never accept any trips. Have no idea why. I wait up to 10 minutes for anyone to accept. Most people do accept, but prefer cash over card. I use this app to not have to pay in cash. Kinda pathetic as it happens every day. Penalize drivers who do this please.

Awful!!. SOMEONE IS USING MY EMAIL AND YOU WONT ALLOW IT TO BE FIXED. YOU SHOULD VALIDATE AN EMAIL ADDRESS BELONGS TO SOMEONE. JUST LIKE PHONE NUMBERS. I get spam when this other user is riding and now I can’t unregister my account. What I do wanted to use your service? I wouldn’t be able to because your devs aren’t too bright. Terrible service that doesn’t offer a way to fix things like this.

BAD Customer Service Accessibility. It is very difficult to get issues resolved. Most of my attempts in reaching out are responded by automated messages. VERY FRUSTRATING. I recommend everyone to use Uber instead because you have a live person you can speak with via phone.

Great app not like uber. This app is great unlike uber that always crashes when adding a payment with card this app rocks!! Ps. Uber s*cks
