Bought the pro. I’m only using this for an effective back ground changer using my own photos. I’ve found that even saving my completed project in high resolution, I’m losing quite a bit of detail in the non-edited photo. This defeats my purpose as I need the picture to remain at the highest detail. As far as adding a background, I love the app for that.

App keeps crashing. Every time I start editing a photo it crashes. I’ve sent numerous emails with no help whatsoever. This is the last thing I would want to say, but hopefully this will get someone’s attention. Because I paid in full annually. I loved it in the beginning but now I can’t fix one picture. Because every time I go through a few things it shuts down immediately.

Very nice so far!. Just now trying this app, as I have tried many and then deleted them. Only done one photo so far, but was impressed with the results. After some experimentation, I will come back and edit this review!

Terrible app. Bought the premium package deal for $35/yr attempted to cancel it prior to the next payment due date and thought it went through and now I looked at my subscriptions and it’s still there listed as active when I know I cancelled it so I don’t know why it’s still there when it shouldn’t be, I even deleted it off my phone when I cancelled the subscription but it says it won’t expire until March! Really?

Don’t buy. There isn’t anything this app does that makes it worth buying. It said all the things you could do according to them before you download...can’t do anything without buying though. The free trial is there to show you all the things it can do...just google free editing app and you will find quite a few that do everything this “Pro” paid app does FOR FREE. Don’t buy, I found a few options I am now using. Deleted this immediately.

Meh. The only thing you don’t have to pay for on this app is a few filters that no one would use and a reshaping tool that distorts your face (not the one they show that slims your face.) The rest is basic tools your iPhone already has like changing how bright the picture is. They do let you at least try the “pro” (in-app purchase) features, but $30 something is pretty ridiculous compared to some other really good face tuning apps. Oh, and the commercials are obnoxious.

Need added features!. I like the features but when you are trying to retouch the picture is downsided and it makes it difficult to see what your doing. I also wish it had an automatic feature that just fixed everything and you could make adjustments from there!

Worst app ever. I can believe that apple wont give my money back I started the free demo i cancelled but they decided to charge me anyways, i used the hair tool an changed the face of the person, a feet appeared in the hair, i mean really? I wouldn’t mind if the app worked well but no doesn’t work well and its expensive

Cannot delete photos. No trash or delete button!. Beware that you cannot delete you pictures when you upload to this app. They do not have a trash button if you accidentally upload pictures you do not want on the app. Even photos that the app uploads without your permission . The app uploaded photos that were personal and I did not select them and I am not able to delete them off the app. I do not want any pictures to be permanent on any app that someone else has the ability to view on the backend. Most people want to delete their pics after editing because of privacy. Do not upload pics that you do not want this private company to have access to in their data system and you cannot delete them!

Pictures. I only tried 1 pic so far it’s not very clear it gets cloudy . Not like the pics it shows but I gave you 5 stars cause it worked and I’m hoping my next picture will be better.!

Perfect. Cool app ❤️. Pretty cool app has nice editing features I don’t like to change my facial features nor my body I like my natural look and seems like I would be lying to other people but again over all I love the other features of this editing app keep up the good work 👍🏻

Waste of Money!. This is the most frustrating app I have ever used! I can't even say I used it because it keeps freezing and every time I have to close the app and start over. I have not been able to get anything out of it! The app takes forever to open, forever to load up pictures, and will freeze at the very first attempt to edit. I regret paying for a subscription and will most certainly not renew. This was a complete waste of money and I would like to get a refund!

Free teeth whitener. Ugh been looking for an app to just use a free teeth whitener. I don’t usually edit pics so when I did in this pic I wanted to for free. They’re getting harder to find, everyone wants money even for a little touch up one time.

Shady pricing, they try to trick you. The app works fine. It can do a lot, only downside is it’s not 1 click. Pricing is VERY shady. Upon initial download, your given an option for 7.99 per week after 7 day trial (that’s over $400 per year, Adobe photoshop is 1/2 this cost). BUT when you ignore the trial 7.99 price (you can exit but the button is VERY light, probably by design to trick you), then go into the pricing, your given normal app prices ranging from 4.99 per month- $35 per year.

Crashes constantly. Do not get this editor. Facelab has potential to be a great photo editor but it has too many problems. It has been crashing constantly. This company has not updated or fixed the bug in over a year. With all the money coming in from subscribers, none of it goes to fixing the performance. I do not recommend.

Good app, but used to be better. I’ve loved this app. You can do so much in one app. Adjusting lighting, adding different blurs, sun flares, overlays, and different enhancement features. You were able to do all your editing in one app. But recently they changed their filters. They have a lot less options and most are very outdated filters now. I would’ve given 5 stars before the changes. Please consider bringing them back.

Changed my review. I had made a bad review because I had canceled before my free trial was up, and I was still showing that I had an active subscription. I received a quick response explaining that it would show that my subscription is active until the seven days are up and they were correct. Day eight, the day after the free subscription ended, my subscription status changed to expired. This had been the only reason I made a bad review. The app itself worked well!

My answer. This app is amazing. I was just looking for editing apps. Then I found this one. I was thinking that you would HAVE to pay but you don’t. I edit a lot of photos for people. So this app helped me edit a lot. This is just absolutely amazing. Thank you for making this app. If you didn’t I might have never found an app that I actually liked. I do wish that you didn’t have to pay for some of the stuff but it’s ok. If you are looking for a editing app get this because it is amazing! :D

Not as it is advertised. I wanted to change my hair color to prank my friends.I’m pretty sure that the photo shows that you can change your hair color(I’m not sure) and I couldn’t find the option to do so. Also, you have to pay if you want to use the “in app” options. There isn’t anything free except for stuff that you can do with your normal camera roll. Otherwise, the app would probably be cool.

Sholeh. Overall, , i didnt like the app and a few minutes after i agreed to the 7 day free trial and subscription i changed my mind and wanted to cancel as it said i can right after i agreed to subscribe. It said the subscription can be canceled in setting before the next billing. so immediately i went to setting and clicked on the face lab app to cancel , however it did not give any option to cancel or unsubscribe. No option in phone setting and there wasn't any setting within the app itself. I am very upset i dont want to be charged every month for an app i dont want . I deleted the app anyway. How do i cancel and how to make sure i am not going to be charged every month for a deleted app?

If this is a free game why is there a lot purchasing?. Honestly every since I wanted to try face lab at the beginning it’s never worked it asked me to purchase I tried the teeth whitening and it doesn’t work neither does the pimple remover and hair works a lot of stuff don’t work unless you purchase it, this is honestly one of my biggest problems for this app I’d recommend letting your app a purchase app because all that’s inside of it is only purchase-able which is sad I like nothing about this app the way it’s developed is really bad if you want the key to success it’s making people’s enjoy the app, not making it a weak purchase app!

App crashes often. This app is super convenient super easy to use it’s just very unfortunate that every time I am in the middle of editing it just automatically closes and it makes me start over with my editing process which could be a tad bit frustrating

Not even in the running. This is not the best selfie app out there. Don't waste your time. It looks like it would be useful, but with other apps out there that do the exact same thing, but with better control over the tools, quality of picture, and more options. I signed up for the trial to see if this app would be more useful for anyone and because of the cost for premium, it's just not worth it.

Bad!!!. I kept this on my phone for the free trial week, I did not like the app, I did not authorize the subscription to be maintained, I have deducted 4 times the value of the app which I do not use, I tried to get the money back and not It was possible, so I pay for an app that I don't use, that I don't like and for which I am discounted every week. I want my refund to my account of the 4 invoices charged.

Fraudulent. This app goes out of its way to hide the fact it will start charging you monthly after installing it. Even after the app has been deleted. There is nowhere within the app that enables you to cancel the subscription, which allows them to keep charging people who don’t know you have to go in and unsubscribe through iTunes. It also doesn’t prompt you whatsoever that you’re subscription is beginning, like a lot of other apps do. It also conveniently doesn’t have a contact email or phone number.

rely on it but could be much better. I rely on this app and I love it, it does what I need it to do and is a great editor but the main issues are how slow it is. It will crash all the time, even if it saves your edits. The reaction time after clicking a tool or the buttons is very slow. I have updated my IOS and have the newest iPhone so I know the problem is in the app and not external. I feel as though these are easy bug fixes and the app just needs to be polished functionality wise. However the options it offers for editing are wonderful, it’s worth paying for. I just wish I didn’t have all the technical difficulties with it (crashing, slow tools, slow reaction).

Cool idea but not to rent forever. Like other apps here you can’t own this you have to rent it , the app is a bit slow on my iPhone 13 pro max , got the app to fix a tiny detail but couldn’t do it cause I didn’t wanted to rent it just for a few minutes . I guess the dev wants to make money by renting it but if for anyone who has any reasoning or common sense it just not worth it.

Useful but not enough free tools. I gave this app four stars instead of five here’s why: don’t get me wrong this app is amazing! You can do so much stuff . But there’s one problem, more than half of tools are not free. Meaning that I can’t do that much. Like I said this app is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I just wish that there were more free tools. And overall I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever 👍👍👍

Free trial. So far, I literally just got the free trial, So far I’m enjoying it but, only time will tell as I explore the application further. It did make my, practically nonexistent mustache, look very noticeable in all of the filters. Did not like that at all

OMG. Didn’t even know apps like these existed! This is so cool!!! I’m having so much fun playing around with all of the editing features that are available. I heard about this app from Tik-Tok & wanted to try out the NEW feature, that allows me to change the color of my hair and see what look will work best for me before making the permanent change in reality. Great job developers with the creation of this app!

Impressed. It made great options based on complexion I chose. The hair styles where great. I am pleased. I will pay for the membership just because of the great suggestion.

Money Sucker. I kept this on my phone for 4 hours. It worked fine but I only wanted to use it once and be done with it. I deleted the app, thinking that this would be enough to avoid the $7.99 subscription fee. The company never prompted me to begin the subscription. I was first charged and looked for a way to contact the company to let them know that I had not had app on my phone and that I did not want to have the subscription. I was unable to find their contact information. I was just recently charged again and finally figured out how to cancel my subscription through the settings on my iPhone. If you also had this problem Google “how to cancel a subscription on your iPhone.”

The best editing app. Oh my gosh this is such a useful app there are so many different tools that you can use to improve your pictures! As well as that you can use cute filters to put on your pictures! I 100% recommend it !

Who needs a subscription to an editing app?. Wanted to give it a try. Found out instead of a one time charge it’s a monthly cost. Figured I’d give the free version a try to see what’s so awesome that makes it worth $5 a month. But I couldn’t do anything different than what my normal camera has since without providing a credit card you can’t test any of the stuff they claim the app can do. Hard pass for me.

Better than a Snap Chat filter - realistic 🤗. Too serious in the picture? You have the option of changing your serious look to a smile 😃 which includes realistic looking teeth . Eyebrows shape your entire look. I love that I have the ability to thicken my eyebrows and it actually looks natural also the hair editing is top notch as well as the realistic makeup looks.

Face lab rating. Face lab is a good app but the creators should understand that most people don’t want to pay for a app. I think that they should give more options to the people who don’t pay and that will get more people’s attention for this specific app. Other wise this app has had no glitches in that matter and makes me and my friends laugh

Fix the big. Hello I love this app it’s one of my favorites but today I can’t get past the add with the doctor video. It will not allow me any access to the app. Can you please fix

So Many Editing Options!. They are so many editing options that are easy to use! I liked some of the basic, like teeth whitening and wrinkle removal LOL. But some of the advanced, like hair and eye color change are fun to play with also.

Amazing App!!!!⭐️. I have you multiple Beauty apps and never cared for the options they offered and also they always make me look so fake. This is as real as it gets. Amazing options as well as great adjustments so simple all the way to beautiful other options. I will never use any other app then this one. Definitely 5 Stars for this! ⭐️🤩

Amazing!. This app is absolutely amazing. It is by far the best app I have ever used. I love it. I filter every photo I take through it. I wish I had more options though to edit other areas like the neck abs things but I just switch apps for that. Well worth the money.

Nice, but far from perfect. I tried different color hair but it did not look natural, so there’s no way to know how it would really look. The lipstick is very smudged so I can’t tell how the other colors would really look on me. The eyeshadow is crazy, if you want eyeshadow on your eyelid, you have to also have it all under your eyelid. It’s nice, but needs a lot of improvement! One recommendation I’d make is in a add-on for shopping! When you try some of the various makeup, there should be a method of buying that same type/shade from whatever manufacturer you used for that makeup. I liked the foundation better than mine but I can’t tell what makeup or shade it is. You could get a referral fee from that manufacturer if we purchased that makeup from them, and we’d be happy to get makeup that matched our needs.

Feedback. Thanks so much for designing the greatest app ever, I have enjoyed your editing skills that allows me to create new ideas. Although, it makes me pay per month on face editing. Fix this. I am beyond disappointed with this app developer. I had a free trail of this app on my old phone so when I was offered a new free trial on my new phone, I downloaded it. I was not told that if you have already had a free trial, you automatically get charged if you try to get a new free trial. I was charged $7.99 for an app that I downloaded just to see if it could correct red-eye. When I contacted Apple they said they couldn’t do anything about it because the app developers are the ones in charge of free trails. So I got scammed out of $7.99.

Ok but it needs a lot of fixing. This app looks nothing like the adds due and unless this is for the premium pack (which mostly everything is) I don’t see the button where you can change your hair color which was in the add so I’m also seeing other features that we in the add but not here. I think you guys really need to stop making everything premium because not everybody wants to spend there money on a dumb app that just changes your features a little bit. I think you should take some things off the premium pack so people can use them for free and add the features that you put in the add so people can actually use what they came for.

Not even one star, don’t even waste your time with this mediocre app. Honestly I thought that at least Ill be able to see how the functions work or what I would be buying if I did, the only thing you will see is to buy their app (no explanation if what, only how much you’re paying), mediocre UI, it looked like one of the webpages full of ads and scams, to be a paid app I would expect more than that, I rather go waste my money on anything else but that. Watch out for this app. It doesn’t do anything much at all and when I tried to cancel my subscription before the due date, it’s very difficult to find where to do it. They deliberately made it difficult I’m sure. I still haven’t managed to unsubscribe and I need to do it before the trial period ends. Help would be appreciated please!

This app continues to take funds and continually asked for more money and then removes feature you have already paid for, without any explanation... this is the second tome I have put in a bad review as this app continues to be annoying and expensive.. it’s not explained if each time the request funds if they are taking more or not.. there is also no easy opt out of payments available.. so it’s very unclear how you stop paying for an app that is not that great in the first place. They catch customers by promising options that are only available if you upgrade your service but even when you pay more they do not provide the upgrade options but happily continue to take payments... very unhappy customer who wishes to opt out of this app.. very unhappy customer .. I was promised that these issues would be fixed the last time I complained..

BEWARE scam!!. They purposely make it so hard for you to cancel your subscription! It autorenews and there’s no button to cancel. I’ve checked their ‘link’ and have tried multiple avenues on iPhone/ Apple. I’d like to cancel and get my money back before it autorenews.

Stolen money BEWARE don’t do “free trial” it’s not free.. This app is a scam. Even though you take the free trial and unsubscribe same day, they charge you the monthly $8.99 for a subscription you never authorised. Apple refunded first charge, but will not do it again, even though unauthorised. Apple offer no protection against theses thieves. I spent 2 hours on the phone to apple trying to sort this, so this app does not have access to my credit card through Apple payment. You can’t stop them and Apple will not take action, just keeps taking from your credit card on their behalf. FRAUDSTERS - both of them. Only way out to stop is to cancel your creditcard, which creates a massive headache of having to reestablish all your auto payments for genuine billers. I have also been warned by Apple that even if you cancel the subscription, if you open the app up on another device months later, you don’t get the free trial, they automatically resubscribe you and take $8.99 without advising you? How they get away with such fraud and attack on basic consumer rights, I will never know? I guess with the help of Apple 🙁😡

Can’t cancel subscription. I signed up for a “free 7 day trial” after it commences regular payments come out of your account and the app makes it extremely difficult to stop the subscription/payments - I cannot locate it anywhere!

Beware. What rip off trying to get people to unwittingly start a contract that expensive when you can buy other apps for a small initial fee.

Not happy. I have emailed twice asking for help but no reply. I have the premium subscription but something is wrong with the app in that it turns orange and goes very dark. Their customer service is woeful and the app only works for a short time.

Why look like something you are not. Seriously this is ridiculous, people who know you have seen YOU. You are not fooling anybody.

SCAM. I thought I would give it a go but then it kept asking for more money, over and over again and the price of the app is not worth it. I'm surprised that you guys have managed to stay in business or that this is still readily available still. Free to download? Misleading. Yes free to download however you can use it until you agree to sign up for $9 a month - yes you get a weeks trial but it’s still misleading.

Poor Form. I came to download the app to use the free trial and was told I was charged, this is poor form as I was forced to pay.

Not even detecting my features properly. Other free editors are better than this!! I ahve taken a front on photo to test out, and it’s not even detecting my nose or lips properly. You also cannot change the eye colour and the face blur is hopeless. Would defiantly not be paying for this.

Rip off. I clicked on the app and signed up for a 7 day free trial but then got an email saying it was going to charge me $7 a month and there isn’t an obvious spot to be able to cancel this supposed subscription.

BEST APP EVER. Hello!! This by far Is the most amazing app I have used in my LIFE. You can add STUNNING MAKEUP, Change Backgrounds, hair, eye color, etc... If you feel you gave gained too much weight, YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELF LOOK SKINNY, Got a pimple? YOU CAN PATCH IT AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NOTHING WAS EVER THERE!! I <3 this app so much.

Fake app. Hair’s picture totally different with what you see on you pic. I use free app and it’s not match.

Scamming with the free 3 day trial. I tried to sign up using the free 3 day trial included with the 1 year subscription and it charged my cc the full amount plus another fee immediately! How do I reverse this charge?

It offered me a 7 day free trial. When I opened the app gave me the option to a 7 day free trial but instead charged me $9 usd. I wish I could get my money back.

This is scam, don’t trust them. It’s showing free but they charge you as soon as you download the app. I am stuck even can’t cancel the subscription. We need to report them to App Store

App is constantly crashing while editing. I spend a good amount of time using the background blur and detailing out certain spots it misses and the app has crashed time after time and not saved my work. I have started over for the last time I’ll be moving to a different photo editing app. I am thankful I didn’t purchase the pro version because I would be peeved if this happened and I actually paid for it.

DONT DO FREE TRIAL IT WONT LET YOU UNSUBSCRIBE. This app is straight garbage. The features were bad and after I unsubscribed it wouldn’t let me actually unsubscribe. Now I cant update any of my apps on my iPhone 8+ until I pay the $6.47 or wait until my subscription ends!! Ridiculous. I can’t even get a hold of the company because they continuously hang up on me. Don’t buy this app.

Places a watermark on photos unless you pay to remove. I thought it was a good free app until I went to save my photos and it had a watermark on it.

If you download, cancel your subscription.. App Store > Profile > Manage Subscriptions If you download the app, you’ll need to do this to not be charged. It’s unfortunate that these guys are pawning on the idea that people will forget or let a single charge slide. Don’t be fooled by any follow-up explanation from the developer that will be posted in response to this review.

App creators need to understand that purchasers need to try and learn their products before opting in to weekly, monthly, or yearly payments. Subscription fees. For this type of app is ignorant. All the negative reviews are idiots. This app is pretty good. Nice filters and pretty cool controls with lots of control. It’s a basic fun app. The people that don’t know how subscriptions work are dumb and the only reason this app isn’t higher rated.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT GET THIS APP. After only a week if u do not cancel it puts you on the highest paying subscription without your knowledge. Even worse, I never even used the app to edit a picture and this still happened. Very unhappy. Money sucker. I downloaded this app thinking I’d use it and just removed it because I didn’t really want it anymore and now money keeps taking out of my account. I deleted it so long ago I forgot the name until now because I’ve been searching for it. So I’ve been paying for this app I don’t use. Didn’t even know it cost.

Kool. I tried the face features freckles smoothness whiteness it was kool! Able to fix my photos and transform my new look. There’s many other options to try too.

Make things bigger. While I do enjoy Face Lab, I do not like how you can only make it so big. I could want my eyes to be HUGE and I only get a small one. That is all I would like you to upgrade (for now anyway).

Won’t go away. I downloaded this app and cancelled my subscription prior to the end of the free trial. Now, even though I have deleted this app completely off my phone, I am continuing to be billed every week for the subscription. I have cancelled it three times now but it just won’t go away. I am extremely frustrated!

I like it so much better then others. I do like it. It’s easy to use for those not as computer talented. The only thing I couldn’t find, was how to take the glare off of glasses.

Just don’t. You have the longest ads EVER. Takes you 20 minutes to do the simplest things because I have to watch a 10 minute ad after every selection. Plus the apps not that great either. Don’t waste your time. Don’t download this thing.

Confused. Having to check out a app is cool but hearing it’s FREE then once you download it finding out it’s not all Free. Just a trial basis then it’s called leading someone to buy your program. Please let people have fun with it.

Very realistic. I love the foundation option and the apps features such as the lipstick look so real compared to fake looking Snapchat filters!

Keeps Crashing. I would have used to given it 5 stars. It’s great when it works but it always crashing while I’m editing. I’ll be spending a lot of time editing details and then it will crash over and over again and lose everything I did. Very frustrating.

Doesn’t allow cancellation. Only app that doesn’t allow you to select cancellation. Even if you follow their cancellation instructions, under apple id, under Subscriptions. Tried multiple times to cancel app and it’s impossible. I’ll have to repot this to my bank and apple.

Can’t stop subscription easily. They just try to trick you into paying money. Facetune way better - this you can hardly adjust stuff. Impossible to get out of trial/autorenew without 20 steps and research. I hate this nonsense. Just build in a “cancel subscription” into the app in a settings tab ... don’t make me spend an hour figuring it out

Too much money. I dislike having to subscribe to auto pay when they could just make you pay once and you’d get everything in the app its an okay for editing but I use for mainly just editing my makeup and there’s other apps that you don’t have to auto pay every month for but I’ll just stick to Facetune.

App keeps crashing!. I spend several minutes editing the mask background and then the app closes without warning! My changes aren’t saved. This has happened several times. I checked for updates, updated my iOS, restarted my phone, and deleted and reinstalled the app. It’s still happening! Very frustrating!

Needs bugs fixes. The more I kept using the blemish remover feature which is the heal one under patch the pinker my picture got who would want that no I didn’t put a filter on it or whatever I tested my theory with two pictures both turned pink from just removing stuff

Changed my view.. Got the refund for the unauthorized charge. I’m happy with the solution of App Store. Still haven’t get the money in my account yet, but it will be there I hope.

Impossible to Unsubscribe. I’ve been paying this monthly unknowingly. Tried to unsubscribe through the app and keep getting an error message, tried to unsubscribe through the App Store with no luck. I can’t even delete my card from the account or find a way to turn off auto renewal! What trash! Please someone contact me with a solution before I lose my mind!

If you want to look fake this is the app for you. I wanted to find something that would help with simple issues and this just distorts the face. Not to mention making it difficult to get out of the trial to prevent being charged.

Past Version. Hi I don’t like the newest version fix. How can I revert back to the very last version?

Crashes. I’ve used a lot of these apps and right off the bat I realize that it can’t handle much. When I start using some of the more advanced features like smoothing or heal brush it crashes. Even in the color adjust it crashes. And my phone is an 11 Pro. So you tell me.

Charge without subscribing. I have been charge 5.99 twice already and I don’t even have this app on my phone. I want my money back!!!! This is not fare tricking people to just click once and your already automatically subscribed without you knowing it! I have another charge from this app again after I delete and unsubscribe them.

Looks deformed. The best feature I like was the bags for eyes. It smoother lines the area out. However, I did try it on another picture and it looked a bit blurry. The smile feature makes you look like a clown or deformed. Keep working on this app, room to get better.
