Can’t locate audio files. I really wanted to like this app, but I can’t import or listen to the audio files that are in my files folder. It finds the music on my phone, but not the recordings of the course that I need to listen to. Even more disappointing is that the help section is completely blank, with no guidance at all.

Had to buy it again. I used this app for years. There was a rebranding and I could no longer install it on a new iPhone, so here we go - double or nothing. Developer did not answer my email, I hope he is well and continues to develop it, maybe update the interface with new colors/graphics, make it safer to import / export bookmarks/notes (in a playlist?) I lost notes a few times... fabulous essential app for me even as it is.

Great app, great developer. I have been looking for an app like this in iOS for a long time, and I’m happy to say that this fits my needs perfectly. It plays on the phone, it has CarPlay support, and if you have any questions or suggestions, the developer is highly responsive. Thanks for this app, it’s easily worth the cost!

Needs a fix. Used to be a great app so I had to re buy. But the app resets to the beginning of tracks when it’s stopped. Quite annoying. And changing the settings doesn’t save the changes so it always resets.

No good .... This is not working for videos playing on Facebook or YouTube or Vimeo or embedded in websites ... only works for videos stored/ downloaded locally on the mobile

My main Go-To Audio app!. Most other audiobook apps have much thicker speed up granularities (typically 25%). Unfortunately, this is not helpful with certain readers (depending on accent and natural reading flow). I love that I can control to a 5% granularity. I also appreciate the ability to configure multiple go-back and jump-ahead values. My absolute favorite audiobook app!

Best audiobook player I’ve tried!. I’ve been using this app for 8 years, it’s the best audiobook player you can get on the market. It has unique ability to repeat playing a book after the end. You can’t find this feature in any other audiobook player. The settings also have many useful features for both music & audiobook. Will buy again (if next version available)

V3.3.4. Great app. Whatever they updated just within this week has messed up the app where it doesn’t sit right on the screen. The very top of the app appears at the bottom of your the phone screen. It reminds me of a film slide when you had the film moved up to much and see the top of the film at the bottom of the picture. Makes it hard to select those options that are in the corner of the top of the screen. Please fix it soon. Beside this, I would have a five star rating by me. I’m also giving it a low rating because when you go to the developers website, there is no place to leave any contact information or to tell them any problems being experienced.

Buggy. This app will only work while I have it open. If I’m listening to an audiobook in my car I have to check the time on the audio, because by the time I get from my garage to my room the app will glitch. I have to delete the whole audio file, upload it from my files again, then use the slider to get to the correct time. This happens at least two times a day. Prepare yourself to be annoyed. Edit: the Wi-Fi file transfer hasn’t worked in weeks. 👎

Fraudulent owner. Delists the app frequently and relists on a different name every few months forcing you to buy again. bought this app again only to leave this review. Don’t buy.

It says something.... Like many here. Had this app for years and got a new phone had to reinstall and buy it again. But it’s so worth buying it again because it saves me hours when I need to skim through some audio lectures. Not many apps can get a ***** while users are having to rebuy them aye? ;)

Bad sound. Like the features, but not worth the decline in sound quality. It makes for difficult listening with audiobooks.

Playback speed control good. I just use it to control podcast play speed. Does fine with that. But not intuitive. Hard to figure out the other controls.

Great but one really annoying bug. Love the app but it has an annoying bug. If the app isn't the currently open one, sometimes the app will lose "audio focus" and apple's Music app will displace it as the currently active audio, even though I didn't switch to Music or even have it open. I haven't noticed this happening with other audio apps I use like Audible. Please fix

Great learning tool!. Half speed a/b repeat useful to learn tricky parts in solos. Love it! Wish it would have 75% speed too.

Does not work on iPhone Pro 12. Never wrote a bad review before but this app does not integrate with existing playlists, does not accept valid URLs and has no meaningful support on its site. Very very poor experience.

Not useful. Won’t give you the ability to vary speed on an entire playlist, as in”play this list of fiddle tunes at 110% speed.” That’s the only reason I tried this. There are much better apps out there to speed up and slow down music on single tracks, which is all this does with sliders that are not very granular.

Thank god this exists. It’s super annoying to not be able to customize the speed and rewind settings for most audio player apps that are designed for listening to short audio files. When listening to longer audio files like podcast downloads and courses, this is app is a life saver.

Good but Little annoying. Once speed set for playlist it should play whole playlist at that speed, instead it play first track at set speed and on next track fall back to normal speed.

I love this been using it for a long time.. I love this app. I love speeding up my songs. Been using it for a while. I hope it is here to stay. Had to rebuy it though.

Only app that meets my specific need. I use the touch controls on this app to help memorize material. It’s the only app I’m aware of which lets me touch the screen to pause/resume, swipe to skip/rewind, and even touch to speed up/slow down. I can do all of this without looking at the phone. The only downside is that the latest update seemed to break the ability to play files on Dropbox. I have a workaround where I can find the app in Dropbox and then export to SpeedUp so it’s not a showstopper for me.

GREAT for listening to lecture recordings!. I have lectures recorded that I’ve put into my iTunes library, which I then import into this app to listen to. I love that I can bookmark as I go along and type a description to my bookmarks. Then when I go back and listen again, it’s easy to find a specific section in the recording, or a part of the recording that talks about what I was trying to recall. I LOVE THIS APP for studying by re-listening to class lectures!!
