Love the idea behind it but.... I’m such a light sleeper so I purchased the SleepBuds when they first came out. They definitely work wonders for me. They worked fine for the first 3 months but then they would stop connecting or stop charging just 1 bud. I ended up having to get them swapped out and they worked for a bit then did the same thing but again ended up working again and haven’t had any connection problems. BUT, now every time I open the app, it crashes immediately. I even tried to uninstall/reinstall and still doesn’t work. Please look into this! Other than that, I agree that these buds should connect via Bluetooth, not the app. It makes it more difficult to troubleshoot when the buds won’t connect.

Ear buds stop working at a high rate and support is pretty dismal. I have four of these. Two of them one ear bud broke. They are sleep buds. So obviously you notice they are broken when going to sleep. Just when their support is closed. I keep forgetting to call the next day and notice again when their support is closed I need support. Only option is to call. It would be so much easier if I could send an email when I notice they are broken. Or god forbid have a chat app for this use case (which seems like it is a very common one see later below). Not to mention their site puts you in an infinite loop and you keep entering your serial number, on your phone digit by digit because they don’t offer copy of serial number support, only to go back to the page which says contact us. They seriously did not consider support for when their product breaks - which it breaks a lot. 50% in my case. And look online, there are tons and tons of posts of one ear bud breaking / stopping working and Bose support says to call them - which again they are closed when one is usually going to sleep. Save your money and just buy a noise cancellation product. They cost like $5 on your phone and it always works. I love Bose products but this one is a complete waste of money, don’t buy it.

Love, love, love these!. The sleep buds are the best purchase I’ve made in a while! They fit securely and don’t hurt my ears like other ear buds do. I am sleeping better than I have in a long, long time. I highly recommend them for those who struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep. I give a four star rating thought because I had mine for about three months when they stopped working. The right ear bud would not charge, the app couldn’t connect to the sleep buds and despite all my troubleshooting efforts I could not get them updated and working again. Bose customer service replaced them which was great - but I had to mail the old ones back before receiving new one so I was without them for about two weeks, which was hard... I’m excited to have them back and Hopefully the app and buds are updated so this new set will not run into the same problems a few months down the road...fingers crossed!

Amazing!!. I found these after doing some research because I’m a classic case insomniac and my husband snores. He ended up getting them for me as a Christmas gift. I’ve only been using them for about a week but they’re a tiny little miracle! Seriously sleep like a rock and that never happens. They’re great at blocking out noise while the sounds lull you to sleep. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night from my husband snoring, and he’s happy because he hated my white noise machine. They take a little getting used to but it’s a small price to pay for an actual good nights sleep! If you’re thinking about getting these- do it, you won’t be sorry. 😴

Changing my 1/3 of my life. These sleep buds have made sleep amazing again! I’m a current junior in college and living in a apartment has been a struggling time. Leaving the TV on at night wouldn’t drown out the noise from my heavy footed neighbors. Even playing a sleep machine from my Alexa wasn’t enough for me to eliminate any disturbances. I’m a light sleeper and any amount of noise will make me loose my mind. With the Bose Sleep Buds right in my ear and the control of 20+ plus sounds to relax and fall asleep to it made me such a happier person in the mornings. It definitely takes a few nights to find the right fit for the buds but once that’s done it’s such an easy put on and relax. Battery life is not an issue! I still have 40% when I wake up at night and All I have to do is place them back in the case and let them charge for the day while I’m gone. I suggest these to anyone who struggles with falling asleep and even staying asleep. For $250 plus it’s a great investment for sleep.

Amazing Product!. I am a terribly light sleeper with an acute case of misophonia and I have a truly difficult time falling asleep, especially when I can hear the pounding of neighbors’ footsteps overhead and begin to fixate on/panic as a result of my inability to fall asleep. This product masks all of these noises and I actually slept a full nine hours the past two nights while wearing the sleepbuds on the cascade sound. Is this a perfect product? Well, I echo some consumer concerns such as the inability to stream anything other than the app, but these sleep buds are a true miracle for me and I couldn’t be more grateful to have the ability to finally fall asleep even when neighbors are up late pounding about. It’s important to read the directions thoroughly (especially the one that says your ears might be different sizes and require different size earbud covers—mine totally did)! I haven’t had the problem placing the buds back into the case like others (the white light shows when they are properly placed back into the case for charging, fyi). Please never stop making this product! Some of us need these sleepbuds for medical reasons and you are giving us our lives back—thank you!

Great at masking snoring. My husband is a chronic snorer. And I’ve tried everything from sleeping with the tv on, putting a pillow over my head, earplugs, screaming, praying, kicking him out of the bed, and nothing helped me get a peaceful nights sleep until now. I don’t hear anything but the sounds playing in the buds. It took a while for me to get adjusted to not hearing the sound of the tv, but these work great. They are also very comfortable, unlike earplugs. After a while, I would have to take the earplugs out as they would hurt my ears. But not these sleepbuds. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a snoring spouse or significant other. They have been well worth the money for me.

Good earbuds but not the sound collection. The sleepbuds itself is good. They fit right and don’t really fall off from whichever position I sleep in. It also has a really good noise cancellation. The downside is the song collection. It’d be nice if they added more music like meditation with nature sounds. I can only rotate through so many songs that are actually relaxing. I’ve been stressed lately and having difficulties falling asleep. Meditation helps calm my mind and helps me get a good rest. Switching earphones between this and another one every night just to get meditation is very cumbersome. I got this buds since the fit is designed to be comfortable during sleep so please add more sounds to your App Library!

Better to have someone else buy it. I had these gifted to me by a family friend who saw how much I was struggling in adjusting to college dorm life and sharing a room with another person. The app and earbuds work fine, and I appreciate how well the sounds are looped, but in the end I still couldn’t sleep, even with them on. That’s not a vote against them, as I believe my issue was more anxiety related. But if it’s noise that troubles you when you sleep, these earbuds are a really good investment; just have someone else buy them for you, because they are so expensive I never would have bought them myself (especially being a poor college student). And even though they don’t work for sleeping, I still use them to improve my focus when doing homework, because they do really help block out background noise. Overall, good product, simple-to-use app, enormously overpriced.

ABSOLUTELY worth the money!. Yes, these Sleepbuds are expensive - but they are incredible. My husband snores very loud & I haven’t found a product that blocks the noise. (I’ve probably spent over $100 on other products that are sitting in a drawer.) I decided my quality and length of sleep was worth the $240. When I opened the box, I thought there was no way the tiny earbuds would work. I was wrong - I had the best night of sleep in over 10yrs! That is not an exaggeration. They were also very comfortable and didn’t fall out of my ears during the night.....Bose never disappoints with quality, high-end products. The packaging is incredible/classy, as is the charging case and accessories. ABSOLUTELY worth the money!

Finally a Good Night’s Sleep. I am a very light sleeper, and my roommates are both snorers (husband and dog) plus I suffer from tinnitus. My sleepbuds have worked wonders for me. The app allows me to select certain sounds which mask my tinnitus AND the snoring all in one step. The sounds also lull me back to sleep when I wake up unexpectedly in the middle of the night. Love the new “Sounds Library”. I’ve already downloaded a few sounds and have begun testing them out. DRAWBACK: software updates are slow to be pushed out. I can always tell when there’s one coming up because my app has difficulty finding my sleepbuds. It was so bad that I sent my first pair back. I experienced the same issues with the second pair. Right before I sent them back, the update was released and all problems were resolved. However I experienced the same scenario with the latest update for about a week, but it was nowhere near as troublesome as my first experience. Suggestion: I’d like to be able to control the volume/sleepbuds from my Apple Watch. Overall, I’d NEVER give up my sleepbuds!

Great Product but I Have App Suggestions. I love these sleep buds from day 1. I got these for Christmas from my husband (technically they were on my list) and started using them that very night. After a week I was reviewing my sleep habits in FitBit and saw a huge difference my quality of sleep. I had 60% less restless time and more deep sleep intervals. My suggestions for the app have to do with the alarm function. It may be on purpose but what is the point of having a snooze function if you have to open your eyes to unlock your phone to find and press the snooze button. The snooze should be handled by taping either the volume buttons or the lock button on the iPhone. I, too, like the availability of more sounds for free but there isn’t a delete option for sounds you don’t like unless you’ve run out of storage on the sleep buds.

Love the new and improved models. Had the old ones which sucked all around. From the battery life to the app. These are great on the battery life so far! However the app needs major improvements. First:get rid of the pre-loaded sounds or make it simple for the user to delete the ones we don’t care for. I mean for $250 we deserve the ability to personalize them. Second : allow us to name the alarms. I would love to set an alarm for waking up, time for work it take you meds etc. Third: Even the first Version of the app with the original discontinued model of these allowed you to sample the sounds through the sleep buds. Come Bose this is disappointing for your brand! I have been with you guys since I was 10 years old! 34 years is a long time.. get it together quick Long time companies are dying. Suggestion: don’t be a on demand company who pushes products out to stay a head of other companies and lean on the consumer to report issues for you to try and fix them after it’s out. Offer product testing, get feedback, perfect it then put it on the market.🤷🏽‍♂️ I just saying. I was very disappointed with the discontinuation or the first models and how long it took to get a refund... I had to call you guys 3x a week for nearly 4 months. Yet I bought the new ones. At the end of the day you have loyal customers. Do better by then. Improve and fix your app.

Feels like drugs. I am a light sleeper and my wife snores/breathes very irregular. For years now I have tried just about everything from drugs to tv to earplugs to white noise and nothing has worked as well as sleeping in another room entirely-which hasn’t been good for our marriage. The second morning after using the Bose Sleepbuds all night I felt like I had taken a sleep drug!! I was shocked it was morning! Normally I wake up 3 or 4 times a night and with the Sleepbuds not once! I have even gotten out of bed to visit the restroom and never really even woke up! I got out of bed, did my business, the Sleepbuds stayed in and I was right back to sleep before my brain had a chance to wake up. Thank you Bose, it’s still early but you may have saved my marriage-at least the sleeping part of it!!

So sleeping!. I purchased these ear buds because I have always struggled with falling asleep. This app and ear buds help so much. I fall asleep quickly and sleep through. The ear buds are very comfortable which I was concerned about because I can’t sleep with foam/sponge ear plugs. They are uncomfortable to sleep on. I have tried, trying to drown out sound, snoring, etc. but they make my ear sore. These Bose buds do not. I usually can't tell they are there. The app is easy to use and has a great variety of sleep sounds. I am very saddened to learn that you are discontinuing the ear buds due to some glitches/bugs. I have not experienced them. I was given the option of getting my money back but there is no other product that has worked. Please, please just fix the problems. I will continue to use them as long as possible.

Worth every penny. I have always been a lite sleeper and for the past 20 years used a sound machine set on white noise to fall asleep. My husband has recently started snoring, very loudly. I tried turning up my sound machine but that wasn’t working so we tried all kinds of mouth pieces that claimed to stop snoring. Not a single thing stopped the snoring. When I stumbled on the sleepbuds I hesitated because of the cost, but out of desperation I ordered them. Last night was the second night I used them and you couldn’t pry them away from me if you tried! These sleepbuds are the best thing to happen since sliced bread! They sit comfortably in my ear, they have a decent amount of choices for sounds, and they don’t make me feel like I’m under water! I would recommend these sleepbuds to anyone that has trouble sleeping next to someone that snores or is just a light sleeper any day of the week!!! Thank you Bose!

ALMOST Perfect. As someone who’s dealing with a bad case of tinnitus I thought this might offer some long sought after relief. Small, comfortable and a charge that can last all night, WOW! After only one night I can honestly say that these are indeed ALMOST perfect. From the reviews I’ve read I see a lot of people with tinnitus are using these. And as most tinnitus sufferers know, hearing lost goes right along with it. That brings me to the first issue with the Sleepbuds, NO RIGHT/LEFT BALANCE ADJUSTMENT. It’s actually hard for me the believe that Bose, a company who’s reputation is build on quality sound equipment would overlook a feature like this. Surely this is something that can be addressed in an app update. My second issue is volume. It needs to be louder. At full volume my ear with hearing loss issues can just hear the sounds. If I could pump the sound up a little more than it’s capable of now it’d be great. Come on guys, we’ve paid out a pretty big chunk of change for these. Give us an update with the features a devise like this should have came with. No. 1 - Right/Left Balance Adjustment No. 2 - A boost in sound

I wanted them to work so bad but .... I love the idea, design, simplicity and what it was promised it would offer. I love my quiet comfort with active noise cancelling. (Wish somehow one day the technology can be implanted in these tiny earphones) I understand that this one wouldn’t actively cancel out noise however the “sound masking” feature does not do anything. My main issue is the volume. The volume is so LOW that I barely can hear it. This device is only good for sleeping in quiet environment for someone that requires some type of white noise to fall sleep. It does not mask any outside noise. I don’t know why there are so many warnings for high volume in the app? If you are putting on a device to fall sleep obviously you are trying to block out some outside noise otherwise why would you use it? If this can be fixed with an update it would make sense to have this device otherwise there is ZERO benefits from it. I read so many reviews about people complaining about the volume but didn’t believe it, however after using it now I understand. The idea was probably to use this for everyday sleeping situation but the market for blocking outside noise is much higher than listening to some faint sound coming out of a black hole from far far away. Lol

IOS 13.2.2 App Crashes Downloading Sounds. My wife and I both snore so these have dramatically improved our lives. We bought two pairs a year ago and have dealt with the usual pain: hard to put back in the charging case, occasional poor charge, occasional difficulty connecting to both buds. Regardless though, when they work our sleep is wonderful! Within one year the pair that had the most problems fell apart; the charging magnets fell off. We bought a third pair and need to initiate an exchange. Regardless though, when they work our sleep is wonderful!! The most recent issue now is the Bose Sleep app crashes when attempting to download additional sounds on IOS 13.2.2. Thankfully we already replaced our least favorite default sounds, so I only mention it in the hopes that Bose will fix it so those of us customers that love the product can continue to use them for as long as they hold up. Please continue with bug fixes so we can continue buying up and using more pairs before the discontinued stock dries up.

Great product, one suggestion. I was given these as a gift because I have always struggled with both getting to sleep and staying asleep. I’m a very light sleeper so any noise will wake me up. My review is very specific to me but I hope it’s something can can be added. I currently listen to tv (just the sound, screen turned off) to fall asleep because it is the most distracting thing I’ve found to get my brain to settle. White noise has never been effective. These are great for helping me get a better deeper sleep because I’m not woken up by little noises however, I tried using the noises in the app, including adding some from the selection available to be downloaded and non of them were helpful for getting me to fall asleep. I now listen to tv, same as before, with one of the earbuds slightly offset in my ear. I’ve managed to push it in either just as I’m falling asleep or sometimes my pillow secures it. I did almost lose one once. I would like to see a feature where streaming could be done through the app as a kind of sleep timer similar to the white noise. I understand that traditional steaming is not available because of the size so I wonder if something could be done via the app.

Technically Excellent ; Comfort Improvable. This is a great product in that it works quite well to put one to sleep and help keep one there. The update that gave more choices in sounds for NO CHARGE was a welcome surprise!I really like 2 or 3 of them, but one that you love is all that is necessary to do the job well. This product is great for BLOCKING MY HUSBAND’S SNORING. I gave 4 stars because comfort could improve. I am a small person ( 5’3” -115 lbs)and the “small” sized earbud covers are still a bit large for me. One of my ears actually blistered from wearing the earbuds for the first few nights in a row I let my ear heal, and began using the earbuds every other night so as to protect the ear. My ears were soar for about 20 minutes when I woke up in the morning until I got used to the earbuds which took about a month. So if you can hang with them and be patient, the soreness will stop, and you will just enjoy the product. Also some of the sound selections I find very odd, but again, other people must like them so that is wonderful. The ocean ,rain and water sounds are my favorites. Please offer additional sized earbud covers as an in app purchase. Thank you.

Sleep Finally. I have spent the last 20 years sleeping next to a man that snores so loud he keeps me up at night. I normally have to take something to help me sleep or fall asleep before he does. But for the last week that I have used the sleep but I have fallen asleep within 10-15 minutes of laying my head on the pillow and I cannot hear my husband at all. Also the alarm clock is wonderful I can get up get my kids ready and out the door on time and not worry about missing anything. They are well worth the money and the app would be extra sounds is perfect but I recommend the rain forest and the showers.

Two drawbacks for me. First, what I love about these. They are super comfortable to wear and don’t fall out. However, and this is one of the two drawbacks I have. In my world, even at top sound level, I haven’t been able to find a sound that is both conducive to sleep and masks noise. I have trouble sleeping and noise is a big factor for me. I depended on a product from Bose to be better in this department. My second issue is bugs with the app. I was trying to download a new sound to try and it literally blew up my app to the point where I had to delete it and reinstall it to use my ear buds. I could not access anything from inside the app. From a programmer, this is an unacceptable experience and should never have gotten past QA. Lastly is just a similar wish to what others shared. The wish to be able to steam from other apps as only one of the sound options is soothing, at all, to me and as stated above, even at full sound it doesn’t mask noise well enough. Hopefully Bose will pay attention and improve on what has the potential to be an amazing product.

Great - except.... I got these at their initial launch so have had them over two years I think. LOVED THEM! My husband snores and regular foam earplugs sort of worked- unless I woke up and he was snoring and then I’d stay awake sometimes for several hours. The earbuds mask the snoring enough that I can get back to sleep. So I was/am addicted to these! Then after about 18 months, I started waking up in the morning with just one of my ears sore where the ear bud fits. I tried different sizes of the tips, but that didn’t help and the soreness will only go away if I don’t wear that earbud. So I usually wear just one with foam earplug in the other ear, then if I do wake up and need the other one, I will switch out the foam and wear both earbuds the rest of the night. Soreness is kept to a minimum that way. I honestly don’t know what happened to my ear that causes the soreness but I’m addicted so I’m dealing with it. I also have ringing in my ears, and since that is an internal sound, not external, the earbud noise really doesn’t mask it. I would love to see if any research has found a sound that competes or counteracts ringing and have that as one of the choices in the app.

Love but..... I got my Bose sleep buds as a gift and they have really helped me with falling and staying asleep, as I am a very light sleeper and any noise will wake me. My biggest issue now, my buds won’t fully charge, even though they have been on the charger all day, light indicator shows charged however when the app finds my buds they are at best 48% charged and go dead in the middle of the night. So if I wake up, I hear snoring and other odd noises throughout the house and have no white noise to put me back to sleep. I use the alarm option on my buds everyday because I wake up at an ungodly hour and hate waking my spouse, but having them die in the middle of the night makes using the alarm impossible due to the fact that I never know if I’m going to have working buds or not. I now have to set an alternative alarm. If I could figure out the charging issues I would give these babies 5 stars, but for now 3 will have to do.

Buds 10/10, App 8/10. The buds are EXCELLENT. Super low-profile and barely notice they’re there, even when I sleep while pressing against them on memory foam pillow. Clean sound and great at masking/blocking outside noise just right. Can still hear my son enter my room in the middle of the night for “daddy duty.” App is aaaaallllllllmost there. Good-ish sounds and ambient noises. Maybe tone it down a touch on some of the wildlife chirping, etc. on some of them. My real problem is with the alarms. I get they’re supposed to be “soothing” while waking you up, but I’m a HEAVY sleeper and usually wake up either groggy or “sleepwalk” and fall back asleep after taking them out. I need to almost be SCARED awake. I’d love something like the iPhone alarm that sounds like someone breached a prison wall or James Bond just blew up a missile silo and is trying to escape.

Poor app for a good product. Considering the SleepBuds cost a whopping $250, the app that supports them should be a lot better. Why can my iPad detect my AirPods and Jabras instantly, but this app takes MANY seconds to find the SleepBuds… and sometimes fails to find them entirely? Why are other audio apps controllable from the lock screen but not this one? Why do I have to unlock my iPad and navigate to the app to control the SleepBud volume with a slider rather than just use my volume rocker? This all seems like pretty basic stuff to me, that other apps manage fine. Other stuff: you can only listen to Bose sleep sounds on the SleepBuds. I don’t see why you can’t have a seamless experience of listening to whatever you want on the SleepBuds before sleep, then turning on Bose’s sounds. Talk about a nanny app! And I find way too many of the available sounds too busy and/or high-pitched. There’s only one or two I can stand to listen to. There might be good reason for other stuff that’s also inconvenient, like having to take time to load sounds ONTO your SleepBuds rather than simply stream it (I’m guessing so your sound is not dependent on your device’s battery life), but the whole interface is just needlessly frustrating and complex, which is not conducive to a relaxed pre-sleep state. The SleepBuds themselves are great, but hampered by this crappy app.

Bose Sleepers Still Need Work. I am still on the fence as to whether or not to recommend this product. Although they do help mask the noise, I cannot find a sound that both relaxes for sleep and mask the sound. The calming sounds seem to need to be louder to work and the others are distractions. A better variety of choices would be nice. Also, I have had trouble with my sleepers connecting after I take them out of the charger. Some nights I have to take them in and out of the case numerous times before they connect. That is frustrating and not conducive for sleep. I returned the first set I purchased for this reason and the store replaced them. The second pair has worked without a hitch for one and 1/2 weeks. Tonight I cannot get them to connect. For the price.... I recommend waiting until Bose has worked on some issues.

Announcement in Sleep buds. I just read your announcement regarding your production and concerns with sleep bud problems. I have to say PLEASE DO NOT STOP SUPPORTING THE CURRENT EARBUDS! They were given to me as a gift from my son last Christmas as he knew my sleep struggles for years with PTSD and night terrors/insomnia. I have never slept better and my husband will testify as well. I’ve never had any issues with my buds and have in fact recommended to my patients with chronic sleep issues and they have lived them as well. While I’m always willing to try new tech the current tech I have with Bose and the sleep buds has been amazing. While I noted in your FAQ on the current buds you would continue support. I ask again for those of us it has made such a life changing difference...Please don’t stop supporting the current buds until new options are available. Thank you so much Tina Jones

New User. My husband snores heavily and for several years, every night I put earphones on and listen to whatever I can other than his loud snoring. He found these ear buds for me and recommended I try them. I’m on night three of using them (and yes, I have to use them every night) and I can honestly say they are wonderful. I’m in the adjustment stage right now so I’m still getting used to them. I no longer get tangled in a headphone cord when I wake up in the morning so that’s a huge plus! I’m finding my comfort zone regarding the sound and volume. The first night I had the sound way too high. The second was better and the third, I think, I may have hit it. I’d like to see more options for sounds. They were easy to set up and lasted me all night. So far they’ve been worth every cent. They’re comfortable and don’t fall out. Again, more sound options would be great!

Love them but need a few tweaks. I really love my sleep buds. My husband is a snoring machine and now I don’t have to sleep in the guest room just to get some sleep. The only reason I don’t give 5 starts is because of the phone free mode. I would really love to use it as I don’t like the idea of Bluetooth in my ears all night but it has a super high pitched ring underneath the sounds and it drives me crazy. The second thing I would change is the sleep timer. The longest you can use is 8hrs or all night. I would love 10 hrs because sometimes on the weekend I get 8.5-9 hrs and if it suddenly turns off it wakes me. Also, sometimes I forget to charge them so if they turned off at 10hrs at least I would have juice for the next night. Otherwise they just run until they are out of batteries and I don’t realize I forgot to charge them until I’m getting in bed for the night. Overall they are lifesavers and I really love them by would just make a few updates.

Great Use of Available Tech, Hope for Advancements in Future. I really enjoy my sleep buds. They are very expensive, but there’s nothing else like them on the market so I think they’re worth the price. The buds are incredibly small and comfortable. I’m consistently able to fall and stay asleep even as my roommate blares the tv into the wee hours. I do wish they could hold a longer charge and stream like typical earbuds. I understand this is a constraint of technology. Hopefully as further research is done Bose can produce a sleepbuds 2 that retains the comfort and effectiveness of this product while adding additional functionality like streaming music. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who struggles with roommates or neighbors with nocturnal lifestyles.

They really work. I bought these to help me sleep in the same room as my husband. I have worn ear plugs every night for a few years and can tell you how to find ones that don’t hurt. Problem is even with the best ear plugs I couldn’t sleep hearing any hint of snoring. If I woke up and he was sleep it would take me hours to fall back asleep and that’s if I was nice and didn’t kick him out of the bedroom. Well these work completely different in that they provide another sound that competes with the snoring. I noticed that my brain can finally tune out the snoring and I wonder if the sounds from the ear buds have trained my brain to fall asleep faster when the sound is on. These are not norma headphones and they work by proving soothing sound of a limited choice to go straight to your ears. The buds are very comfortable. I have had no pain and they don’t fall out. They have to connect to your phone and it can take time. The trick that seems to work is having both buds next to each other in my hand near my phone and they now connect faster. If you have trouble sleeping due to a snorer, try these.

The most comforting sleep I’ve had in years. Between my snoring partner, our cat violently slobbering all over herself on the bed, and our new puppy whining in her crate, good sleep was a thing of the past. But today these Sleep Buds have seriously improved my life. I might even be getting addicted to the pillowy comfort of their soundscapes, because I’ll go into the bedroom in the middle of the day and see them in their case and boom! I'm fantasizing about skiing down an alpine slope toward restfulness and pleasant dreams. They’re remarkably comfortable to sleep in, only once or twice causing some mild ear pain, if I sleep weird on one side. You can’t stream anything you want, only what’s in the app, but I don’t care about that. I just care about getting to sleep and staying asleep! To that end, I love the variety of soundscapes they provide. To my ear, more than one of the naturescapes category have recognizable loops, which I find distracting, but there are over 40 sounds to choose from, so I can still find plenty that send me off to slumberland with the bonus of also having some variety night-to-night, if I need it. Overall, two small complaints can’t mar this 5-star review. I can sleep! I can sleep! I CAN SLEEP AGAIN!

Thank you Bose. I have been triple cursed. I have tinnitus, misophonia and a snoring wife who needs the room quiet to sleep. I am also a side sleeper who tosses and turns. These are the only earbuds I’ve found that are wireless so I don’t get tangled in wires, small enough to fit in the ear so I can sleep on my side, fit firmly so they don’t fall out yet are comfortable and don’t cause irritation. I know Bose has the best sound scientists and engineers anywhere. They do have excellent wireless earbuds that can stream from your phone. However, they figured out how to load the “sleep sounds” into the buds themselves in order to keep the size down. Someday Bose will be the first to come up with quality small streaming earbuds, but, for now, stop suffering, get these earbuds and get some sleep!

Love them even after a year. I am sorry that these will be discontinued, however I’m sure Bose will develop an even better product. I have had mine for about a year now, while I had hoped they would help with my Tinnitus I realized my ringing is too loud to be masked. The Sleep Buds do a wonderful job with background sounds so sleep is better for me. There were a few times that I had one or both Sleep Buds that did not charge. I chocked it up to not being positioned in the charger correctly, it may or may not have been the case. It may have been improved by an update. Either way I make sure they are charging correctly now. And have not had a problem like that for a very long time. The silicone covers for the Buds needed replacing a few months ago. I expected that after daily use. The only thing that has never gone away are the random connection issues between the app and the Buds. It didn’t matter if it was the phone or tablet. Replacing it into the charger always fixed the connection error so no real deal breaker. I will be keeping mine and continue to use them. Thank you Bose Relic65

App is Behind the Times. I SO wanted this product/app to be rock solid as my husband is a horrible snorer and I longed for a good night’s sleep. The buds work ONCE you can get them paired to the app, but pairing them to the app is not as simple as it sounds - you can’t just put the buds in your ear and open the app. You have to hold the buds close to your device and often will need to put them back in the charging case (careful to align the magnet PERFECTLY so the charging light goes back on) several times (off and on the case, back and forth - sometimes it takes three to four tries - no joke). Once the buds are working in your ear, they work! I haven’t slept so well in 20+years -blocking out my husband’s chain saw, mouth breathing sounds like a charm....until it’s time to wake up and the alarm goes off... you open the app, hoping to hit snooze, and the app needs to search to find the buds AGAIN (not sure why because the sleep sounds are aril playing). By the time the app decides if it can or cannot find the ear buds you end up being wide-awake and starting your day frustrated and annoyed.

Good, wish I could access controls from lock screen. This app works with the Bose SleepBuds and they do a superb job of blocking out my husband’s snoring. I haven’t felt this well rested in years-yes, years. It does have one major annoyance that could be easily fixed with a software update. All features for the sleepbuds are controlled via the app. However, controls and the ability to stop or snooze the alarm are not visible on the lock screen. Having to log into my phone while I’m marginally awake to stop the alarm is a huge inconvenience. True, I could just take the sleepbuds our but, again, I’m marginally awake and don’t want to risk dropping or losing them. I would also love to see integration with Apple Health. Otherwise it’s an excellent app for what it does.

Masks snoring partner; app font size is too tiny. These sleep buds mask even loud snoring from my husband and I can finally sleep soundly all night despite the noise. The second generation fixed the many problems that I had with the original version. One issue with the app: For some odd reason, Bose uses an incredibly small and light font for an app that is a sleep app. I do not sleep with my reading glasses on, and I cannot read the app when I want to hit snooze. The “snooze” and “dismiss” are labeled in about 6 point font and I can’t tell which is which, even though there is so much empty space in the screen! Please adjust you font so the forty+ users can snooze a few minutes! Even better, my other free sleep app has a shake to snooze feature that I love! C’mon Bose - you can do that! I included the tiny font comment in a customer service survey a few months ago but am still waiting for an update.

Pretty Good But Needs Update. Please don’t get rid of them. Please come out with other soon. Please please. I hope you read these. I know this sounds pathetic but they help so much with my sleep issues, apnea and anxiety for falling asleep So sad to see these are being discontinued. Having sleep apnea/anxiety doesn’t help. But these buds fit so comfortably & when they work there the best sleep aid ever. I appreciate the transparency of the company on this issue. But it leaves me on what to do. Keep them & hope they won’t fail or return them and wonder what I’ll do without them. I get it though there’s something wrong they can’t seem to fix. Just wish they could !! App is not as bad as other say. Does need a update bcuz it doesn’t always catch on to the sleepbuds for some reason. Sound quality in my opinion is good. Yes it’s not super clear but... you want it suttle when sleeping. I love them. I sleep better no joke. I have sleep apnea & anxiety so this really helps. My only issue is that I’ve noticed that the headphones aren’t charging evenly but customer service which was great btw when contacted said there shud b a update to address.

Magic!!!!. My boyfriend snores. I have sleep troubles. I can’t fall asleep and stay asleep. Mix that in with the jackhammer next to me and it’s disastrous for my sleep. I had been using the little ear plugs. Roll them up and jam the in my ear. Not only were they not enough to silence the snoring, but I’m pretty sure I’ve damaged my ear canal from shoving those foam plugs way too far into my ear. That being said the Bose Sleepbuds are pure magic! I love falling asleep to the rain. I adjust the volume based on the boyfriend’s snoring. It’s absolutely brilliant! There is an alarm to wake you as you may not hear your traditional clock/phone alarm. That is another genius selling point. Add all that together and I’ve had two of the best nights sleep since I moved in with the boyfriend. This is a must buy if your loved one snores. Sleeping in another room was simply not an option. I believe in sleeping next to the man I love. Not that I haven’t snuck out a few times along the way when the snoring was extra loud. Nonetheless, this is a game changer! Thank you Bose!!!

Problems with snooze. Somehow the Sleepbuds disconnect overnight and because of that, I can't use the snooze function. I understand why you can't allow the streaming of music overnight and the sounds must be downloaded, but the sound library really needs improvement. It would be nice if people could mix their own custom track to sleep to. Have a mixer that would allow people to create their own white noise (allowing the user to customize the pitch to their liking), and maybe layer in a different sound with it. For example - custom white noise with railroad track - and then the user could upload that mix to the Sleepbuds. For $250, it feels like Bose is putting in minimal effort.

Love it! Only One Reason Why Not 5 Stars. Why I gave it four and not five is not because of anything currently related to the ear buds. I love them, I am getting sleep now (and that says a lot because I sleep next to a loud snoring person haha... What is not on there, which I would love to see coming, and the only thing that would shove it into a 5 Stars approval for me is: I wish the ear buds would sync to my meditation app and other apps (even my own music app). I wish it didn’t sync ONLY to the Bose app and limit me to only what Bose makes available to me. I have some favorites I like to listen to when I go to sleep, favorites that are not Bose related. It would be nice to be able to put my ear buds in and just listen to my personal choices from my other apps on my iPhone. A tall order, but I wish it could sync with everything on my iPhone — not just the Bose app. That is the only thing that would make me even more excited about them and shove it into a 5 star. 😊 Everything else, I love. I sleep without the Bose sounds. I just use them as straight ear plugs to sleep some times. Even that “soundless” approach is fantastic. Really high quality.

Life changer. The backstory: Got a kitten 4 months ago and she has to stay in my room at night so she doesn’t get into trouble. The past week she starts meowing, constantly, in the morning for about 1-2 hours because she wants to go see the birds on my balcony. So I wasn’t getting much sleep. The solution: I bought the headphone and she no longer wakes me up with her meowing. The sound selection on the app is great. Lots of options and they sound good on the earbuds. I HIGHLY recommend these if noise keeps you up. The app also allows you to set an alarm so you don’t have to worry about sleeping though an alarm. Thank you Bose.

Love them!. I got these for my birthday and they have really changed the way I sleep. I work late, which means I sleep through most of the morning while my family is going about their lives. This causes an issue as I’m trying to catch up on sleep and need peace and quiet, while it’s daytime and I can’t stop them from making noise. I put these in and I can no longer hear anything going on outside my room or inside, it’s amazing. The sounds that are available are okay, the only one I can sleep to is the rain one but it works well. What I would really like to see in this app is maybe teaming up with the Headspace app (a really good guided meditation app) and letting us download certain sleep podcasts to fall asleep to too. I typically end up falling asleep with one earbud in, and one ear open listening to the Headspace app. Short summary, great product, slightly pricey, the app itself is perfectly fine but you have to have a pair of sleep buds to use it so it’s basically a review of the sleep buds. The sounds are eh but I’m sure there’s at least one for everyone, wish there were more options though.

I can finally sleep!. I have been a very light sleeper for as long as I can remember. I often would wake up due to random noises. Just my husband’s breathing would wake me up all the time, no matter what kind of white noise or ear plugs I would use. Since purchasing the sleepbuds, I have slept soundly each and every night! They cancel out all other noises as long as I have one of the sound choices (I like the rain sound the best). No more being woken up by my husband’s breathing! The earbuds are pretty comfortable, too, and my ears don’t hurt or feel weird in the morning. They are very easy to sleep with. I’m so happy that I found them!

Life changing. If you have to deal with a noisy house when you need to sleep, if you need to deal with the unknowns of a hotel next to the airport, freeway or other source of acoustic distraction buy these and you will not be disappointed. I used a predecessors product before Bose came out with these and the Bose product since they were first made available and have never regretted it. They are worth every penny I paid and for the rest I’ve received in return. They are truly life changing when you need to sleep but are awakened time and again by the rest of the world around you. If that’s you too, try these. I do not work for Bose or anything affiliated with them, the only benefit I’ve ever received was being invited to participate in their initial product evaluation where I paid for the opportunity to get access to the preproduction product. This is all about how I feel about this extraordinary product which helps me nightly. The app is the way to use the sleep buds and it’s a good product too, I couldn’t be more pleased with both.

Life changing if it’s working. These sleep buds have completely changed my ability to sleep well, especially with a husband who snores. It’s amazing. My only issue is that the charging has major glitches. This is my 3rd set that I’ve had to exchange. Customer service is always very helpful though but they still need to work out some tech kinks on how the buds charge. The buds will sometimes say they are charged fully but they aren’t actually. Or sometimes no matter how long you charge them and it shows they are charging, it won’t go past some random percentage (like 37% which wouldn’t last you a full night). Well worth the glitches so far though, because of how amazing, effective and comfortable they are. I love them!!

Impressed !!! Thank you !!!. Wow ! I am a very light sleeper to the point that I can hear thruway traffic at 3AM !! Once awake, it’s very difficult for me to get back to sleep and I have gone many nights with well under seven hours sleep. I have used these earbuds two nights in a row and found myself drifting off within minutes. But the best part is that I stay asleep, my quality of sleep is deeper and I wake up well rested. These buds are giving me a quality night’s sleep once again and I have Bose to thank. Though pricey, I would purchase these little gems again in a heartbeat. There’s nothing more important than a good night’s sleep and I can’t thank you enough.

Bose is onto something great. It’s unfortunate to see some of the negative reviews here. For a beta product, this is outstanding. Bose is sending surveys for feedback regularly and some of those negative reactions belong there, not here. The headphones themselves are phenomenal. There is NOTHING in the market that comes close. They are very small and comfortable and I can even wear them and have my ear on the pillow without discomfort. It was a HUGE technical challenge to build something so small while still delivering background sounds and acceptable battery life. This likely means very limited storage on the earbuds and also why you can’t stream other sounds. I saw two opportunities for improvement that I provided in my feedback survey: first, autostart the previous background sound when I first put on the headphones. Sometimes my partner will start snoring in the middle of the night and I just reach over and put on the headphones, it’s a pain to have to use the app when I’m half asleep. Second, volume control on the morning alarm. It’s a little loud and jarring (regardless of which one I pick). I’d like a softer option that maybe gets louder over time. I’m never giving these up and I hope they never stop working. Truly life changing and I would have paid double!

Always nags to put them back in the case the following night instead of just connecting. So many unresolved UX and poor quality looping problems problems for years now. If the developers actually had to use this app these problems would’ve driven them wild fixing them asap. Instead we have the same problems which have been plaguing the experience for years. The buds are great for sleep but this half baked software experience is a drain.

After a week of using. After having these for about a week now I like several things about my sleepbuds, they’re small and fit snuggly but I still find my ears hurt adjusting to them as I’m a side sleeper. Finding a suitable sound to fall asleep to can be both fun and frustrating. The thing I’d like to see changed the most is to be able to use the phones volume button to change the volume on the buds instead of opening the app. Some nights I want to change the volume and I have to open the app in the middle of the night which is disruptive to my sleep. It would be so much better if the phones volume buttons could be used. I do worry about the long term effect on having the sound play directly into my ears all night long, I wear them pretty much all night as my husband snores really badly.

Please improve the app!!. Need more natural sounds. Not everyone like white noise and would like the option of natural sounds, like rain, stormy night or ocean without the white noise statics in the background that all sounds seem to have. The app has not been updated for over a year, it’s not much to ask to have more sounds options for a product of this price! We are limited to only use the Bose sounds so give us more sound choices!!! 30 something sounds really is not enough. Product is great but the app is ridiculously cheap and does not match the Bose quality. Pick up the game please!!

Saved my sleep from snoring hubby!. Theses things are my saviour! However, just a couple of suggestions. I would love to be able to listen to my own music through them and I would love some new sounds on the app. These are my second pair also as my last ones stopped connecting and went quieter. I still love them though, I wouldn’t sleep without them.

Please don’t give up on these, Bose!. I love love love my sleep buds and they have made such a difference to the quality of my sleep. I occasionally have an issue with a bud not being recognized but can always rectify it. I felt sick to to hear these are being discontinued and am now paranoid I might lose them or they will stop working. Please continue your R&D - these little beauties are a game changer!

Great product. The ear buds are so comfortable and they actually fit. I am a nurse who has trouble sleeping after night duty. This products helps greatly. Blocks out the noises that wake me throughout the day. It would be a five star rating from me if I could download my own sounds or music into the app.

Almost perfect. I bought these earbuds because I have pulsatile tinnitus. The sound quality is pretty ordinary, but I can live with that. The earbuds themselves are comfortable even for side sleepers like myself. Of the three solutions I have tried, this is the most comfortable. The app itself only has a couple of drawbacks centred on the alarm. The biggest problem is that the alarm is not presented in the lock screen like the Apple default app. This might be a problem for iOS apps that cannot be resolved at the moment. When you finally fumble and get the app open; if you need glasses, you have no idea what the buttons are. I guessed on the size of the button and screen placement that the largish button in the middle is the snooze button. I suggest using optional colours in the buttons to suggest their function. Amber for snooze, red for stop? It would be good if there was a better selection of noise making sounds too.

Pretty Awesome. I am someone who can only sleep if there is a fan on in the room which drives my husband mad. These sleep buds have been awesome so far. The first few nights were a little uncomfortable but I moved down to the small bud size and now they are perfect. Couldn’t be happier!

Life changing 🙏👏😴. For nearly 20 years I have work standard ear plugs, often without great effect. My husband snores terribly and even after a sinus reconstruction and other treatments, I still find it hard to sleep without a solution, now being so attuned to the need for quiet. Enter the amazing gift that was these sleep buds. I recently saw Bose are discontinuing these due to issues with the batteries. But so far my experience has been great. Even more impressive is Bose’s message to customers. The transparency and honesty is incredibly refreshing and I know we are, and will remain, Bose customers moving forwards. I look forward to their next sleep solution. I’m sure it won’t be too far away.

Lifesavers!. When setting these up you can nickname them and yep- I’ve called them “Lifesavers”! They literally are for me- I travel a lot for work and we also have two young kids at home. My wife snores and I’ve always been a light sleeper. I’ve used earplugs for over 20years and although effective I find them uncomfortable. These things are amazing. Comfortable but not intrusive and with the steady sound I find them so relaxing. I don’t hear my wife and get better quality sleep. They certainly are lifesavers to me.

Apple Watch connectivity required. It would be great to use Apple Watch in bed to control Volume and select Sound track. Please investigate and resolve. Other Apple Watch/Bose Sleep users please support this change! ⌚️🎶🛌

Worth the cost. The sleep buds are worth the money and I’ve been sleeping much better since receiving them as a Xmas present ( at my request). For me, the ‘swell’ masking sound is the best as other options are too obtrusive The buds fit comfortably and the charging station is well designed It would be great if the app could be developed further to allow listening to other things - music, ebooks etc

Sleepy Nights. I have been using the Bose Earbuds for 3 months now and I have found them great for blocking out noise and getting a good night’s sleep. Sorry to hear that there’s battery issues. I hope Bose resolve this and return with a even better product soon.

No longer connects, grab a refund. A widespread issue that is yet to be publicly recognised, the device no longer connects to the app no matter what options you’re presented with. Why this is a bigger issue - is when you’re ready to dose off to sleep - how frustrating is it spending the next hour trying to get your $400 ‘headphones’ to work so you can go to sleep. Where this is actually really bad - is if you’re falling asleep its due to your circadian rhythm, and if you miss it, you’re about to lose 4 hours of sleep thanks to your premium device deciding it’s time not to work at the critical moment. This is super early technology, so I’d wait. These are waaaay too buggy to be premium when they did work, im extremely surprised bose released them at all.

A greatly improved. Vast improvement in design and variety of available Sleepbud sounds over early media reviews written around the initial release of the Sleepbuds. The addition of the dark mode is really appropriate since this is supposed to be a sleeping aid. Really happy with the Sleepbud purchase so far.

Sleep buds are a marriage saver. I love my sleep buds. I was so desperate to block my husband’s snoring and finally something finally works and I haven’t slept better in 15 years. My only complaint is that the right one doesn’t fully charge most days it seems to only get to 58% and occasionally I have had to reinstall the app on my phone. I don’t want to return them because I don’t know what I would do without them now. Bose, please make them again, because it is the best I have slept in years and I can’t sleep without them now.

Needs connectivity improvement. Does not always connect to sleepbuds. After 12 mths of owning the sleepbuds they connect only ~40% of the time, & it’s mostly only the one that connects. When they do connect, one or both do not last the night. This is my 3rd pair & all have followed this connectivity issue. When they do work I cannot fault them, great sound choices and great outside sound blocking. But overall useless if they can’t connect. I try all the troubleshooting steps every couple of nights with no benefit.

Helpful sleep. It took a bit of adjustment to get the buds comfortable. Not just which size to choose, but also the rotation needs to be right for your ear. After I got that sorted my ears no longer became sore with use. Sometimes the buds don’t connect and this is irritating because you need to return them back to the pod, and often the pod won’t recognise the presence of one or both of the buds. So you have to fiddle a bit, lift it off, put it back. This kind of frustration is not exactly sleep inducing! Sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 minutes to get the phone app to connect to the buds. Other than that I do find the sleep buds help me get to sleep and great they don’t have wires to get tangled up when I roll over etc.

Sleeping well at last!!!. I got the earbuds for Christmas as I’m generally a poor sleeper. I can get to sleep but couldn’t stay asleep as noise or feeling too hot or cold would wake me up and that would be the end of my sleep for the night. I used these buds twice now, I’ve found the buds supremely comfortable to wear all night, the sounds soothing and I have slept right through the night without waking once, feeling for the first time in a long time, refreshed when I wake up. My only suggestion would be to add sleep meditations to the list of available sounds. On the whole, I love them. Thankyou Bose for a fabulous product.

Love them. I really love these things. Have used them every night for the last year or so since I got them. Really sad to see that Bose is essentially doing a recall. Mine have been flawless, although I must say I have had problems with the app not starting this last week. Undecided if it will return them under the recall... I really don’t want to lose them!

Time for some new sounds please Bose. After 6 months i would very much like some new tranquil tracks. It would be nice if Bose pricing new tracks every 3 months. There’s nothing new here in 12 months and it’s not like you can play from any other source.

Won’t charge, terrible design. These seemed to work ok when I had the base docked at home but trying to use the battery base whilst traveling through Europe has been nothing but problematic. The buds simply won’t charge and when they do only one will work and the other will only charge to 1%. I’ve tried resetting the base, reinstalled the app several times (for what it’s worth) and constantly tried charging with and without mains power, nothing works. I have been very careful not to damage or mistreat this product, it has been well looked after and still problems persist. I’ve lost all confidence with this product. There’s some serious design problems with taking this product abroad and using it. What a waste of time and money, I’ll be returning this garbage as soon as I return to Australia. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Some minor adjustments needed. I have owned my sleepbuds since 2 days post Australian release. After using earplugs for many years I love my sleepbuds. My only complaint I have already given the complaint feedback on. Different sounds require different levels & a sound slide bar means I do a lot of trial & error when I switch between sounds as they each have different levels that work for me. When they number the sound levels, the app will work better as different sounds require different sound levels.

SleepBuds are Literally Lifesavers! 💖. Until I became a nurse, I used to sleep so well, in fact I could sleep through any noise! Lately, I can hear a pin drop and I struggle to feel rested! My husband snores terribly at times, I work shift work and have two little kids. My husband bought me these sleepbuds because I hadn’t been sleeping well for months. I’ve been using the sleepbuds every night for the last 1 and 1/2 months and wow! I can actually sleep again. I’m waking easier and feeling more refreshed and much less exhausted than I was before I started using these! I’m also feeling much calmer after a Night duty as I know I will be able to get some sleep no matter what happens outside my house haha! Thank you Bose for designing a product that works to improve my quality of sleep! This product is invaluable and I especially love how receptive you have been to my feedback and suggestions!

Product great, app needs work. It is absolutely crazy to me that you have to open the app to change the volume instead of using the volume press buttons on the side of my iPhone. Seems absurd that a product for sleep requires you to unlock and use your phone in order to change a simple setting that pretty much any other sound app has programmed to use the volume buttons. PLEASE add this simple functionality!

More volume variants would be good. I’ve found I don’t need the volume loud the whole night, just to start with, then again in the early morning. Our sleep is different throughout the night so It’s really annoying to have to hear it so loud the whole time. Would be great to be able to preset the sound volume to change based on the time of night. ( and the time my husband ramps up his snoring)

Great simple app, but it’s bright at night. Amazing this has improved my sleep quality greatly as well as my sanity. The addition of new sounds is good to see however it’s be nice if more were focused at noise masking. I think the following would be great improvements that’d be worthy of 5 stars 1. A dark mode for nighttime use, if you have to access the app during the night the screen is extremely bright. 2. A resume previous state mode. I assume most people are using the same sound and volume every night, a setting so the buds automatically start playing instead of having to wait for the connection then click the little play button. Keep up the great work Bose, look forward to future updates for this awesome product.

Amazing. These sleep buds have made a huge difference for me. They not only help me sleep straight through the night but they also ease me to sleep and help quiet my thoughts. In terms of little things to improve, I’d like it if the app had a darker interface - the white is a little bright and jarring right before bed.

Thumbs up from a shift worker. I value sleep very highly - I can’t afford not to considering how crazy my sleeping patterns are. These sleep were an investment in sleep and my focus at work (emergency services), I found I got more “deep sleep” and felt more rested then I usually do. The sleep buds were stupid simple to set up and I love the style and practicality. I like the alarm feature - I can skip out of bed and leave my partner un- disturbed. If you sleep fine these might not be for you but if you have trouble or are a shift worker - I’d recommend these.

Great updated product. These new buds 2.0 are a great improvement over the first iteration that were fatally flawed. Sleep has never been better and I find they block enough ambient noise that I no longer require the sleep sounds library to choose from. My only current concern is the snooze function no longer seems to work with iOS 15.1 and this needs to remedied to get back to 5 star status. Good work, Bose.

Worked for me. At first i was very hesitant to purchase the product, due to the cost. I read many reviews and were torn about the decision. I’m glad i went with it. first i must make it clear! These will not cancel noise, like in the ridiculous video they made to sell the product. It masks noises, and it works (For me). The comfort is really extraordinary, after wearing head phones and ear plugs these ear buds are a dream. I can sleep with them in all night. The packaging and design in an A+ as with the easy storage. I’m extremely happy. The song choices are reasonable, i do hope they increase the variation. I even just wear them to relax now, i read whilst they are in my ear. I so go for it, if the noise you are trying to mask isn’t too loud. Best $300 I’ve spent in a long time.

Terrible charging case. Good idea in theory - when and if they work.... the case looks good but half the time does not charge correctly or fully - even when the lights indicate they are full - upon going into the app you then discover that they are charged at 40-50% and most of the time one of them cuts out in the middle of the night. The principal of these buds is great but they just simply do not last or charge with enough reliability to be worth the money - very disappointing for a Bose product :(

Sleep restored.. I work rotating shift work and 24/7 call out. For years I was getting terrible light sleep. Using the Bose Sleepbuds have restored sound restorative sleep. The sound masking pink noise works so well at keeping me asleep. These are a life saver.

Disappointing. Regular failed connections. They earbuds regularly fail to connect to the App. Typically one will be found but not the other. Restarts. Open app, close app, open app...highly frustrating at night when you want to sleep. When they work they’re great, it’s just that often they won’t connect and therefore don’t work. Disappointed in Bose. They should be better than this.

Fantastic. I wasn’t getting a lot of sleep with a clingy 2 year old refusing to sleep in their own bed, but these block out all the fussing he does in his sleep and when his throwing a tantrum. It keeps me relaxed and focused. You can however still hear someone snoring, but these buds seem to tune it out. Glad my partner got them!

Good night sleep. Hooray for a good night sleep and literally sleep on my eyelids when I wake up the next morning. Haven’t had that in years after listening to my husband snore for the last 8. Can recommend these enough. I love the fire crackle and the rain. Kyrin

Disappointing. My husband bought these buds for me as I am a shocking wake in the night type sleeper. Although extremely comfortable I can’t use any other device with the buds. I can’t conect to listen to my music on my phone or audiobooks. The white noises they supply with the app are on a short loop so the same sound really quickly over and over again, no stories just white noise. Also as I fall asleep quickly initially I don’t want to wear them all night... trying to find the correct ear piece for the correct ear in the dark is frustrating... enough to make sure I’m wide awake by the time this happens defeating their purpose anyway. Wish this info was made known before they were purchased. Waste of money. Hoping to get a refund here.

Best invention ever to drown out a snorer. My husband is a mad snorer and has tried many products to fix it but with no success. He gave me a set of Bose sleepbuds for Xmas and I can say with great excitement that they really work. They havnt cured his snoring but at least I can’t hear it. This product has saved our marriage. The devises fit perfectly into my ears and do not hurt when laying on them at all. The sounds are so mesmerizing and ideal to sleep to, all night. It would be great to get more sound options in the future. Well done Bose, this is a great product that really changes lives.

Love them - mostly. I received these for a birthday in March & really do love them. I used to use Airpods which always hurt my ears through the night but these are so comfortable & you don’t even know they are there. My only criticisms are; 1. The loop the sound is on can be quite annoying & is quite short. I listen to the rain sounds & you can actually here where it clicks in again at the beginning. That disturbs the lull you are falling into. 2. You can’t remove sounds from your favourite once they are there. They came with some favourites already set & you can’t remove them. Sometimes I like to flick through to see if there is another sound I might try & having all these others in favourites that I know I won’t use is annoying. 3. It would be so good to be able to use these with another app, like Relax Melodies or Calm. We still purchase the Bose headphones so no money lost by Bose with customers being able to do this. Other than that I’m a happy camper but if someone asked for my recommendations I would tell them what I wrote above.

An ingenious concept!. At first I was a bit sceptical about this unique product , it’s limitations and it’s price. My wife is a heavy sleeper and subsequent snorer. I have tried many forms of ear plugs and listening to music over the years but never quite achieved the desired outcome. I have been using the Bose “Sleepbuds” for the past month and I am now a convert and big fan. This system works for me and once you become familiar with this ingenious device It could be the solution you have been searching for to achieve a good nights sleep. Highly recommended

Works well for me. I’ve found that my sleep has improved since I started using these sleep buds, especially in terms of getting back to sleep after waking during the night. It would be great to have a wider range of sounds to choose from, maybe including one with higher pitches which might help offset my tinnitus also I’d love one where it sounds like I’m drifting off to sleep on a moving train. Buds good, app not. The actual sleep buds are mostly fine, but the app is poor, especially on older smaller iPhones. Volume control slider too difficult to access at the bottom of the screen, especially in the middle of the night in the dark. It’s also extremely sensitive making getting volumes right at the lower range hard. Font is too small and design of whole thing is not great

Sleeping much better. I don’t have those long periods of wakefulness and I am not disturbed by my husband’s snoring or any other noises. I am a light sleeper and the buds have really helped. The only frustrating thing is putting them back in the charging case because they are magnetic but you sometimes have to fiddle around with them to get them to engage. My friend has the same issue.

No dark/night mode. This app works well and the sleepbuds are fantastic. However, considering the app is exclusively used at night for most people, having a stark white background with no choice to invert colours natively via a dark/night mode is irritating right before sleep. Dark mode—either permanent or at least as an option—would be an appreciated addition!

Great product. Truely a sleep aid.. I have to congratulate Bose for coming up with such a fantastic product. It is comfortable and the fit is perfect (does not fall off). Way better than the uncomfortable orange foam buds which give you that blocked ear feeling. The sound is fantastic (it is a Bose product) and the case is chargeable too and very well designed. The only thing I would possibly want is the ability to play a track to fall asleep say for an hour and then have the sound masking sound come on for the rest of the night. BTW I also use it at work to block out unwanted sounds.

Great for tinnitus. Great fit and sound quality. Good range of sounds. I have constant tinnitus and I bought these to assist with my sleep. They work really well. I would like to make a suggestion- you need to be able to shuffle the sounds rather than listening to the same one all night. If this could be rectified, they would be perfect for tinnitus sufferers.

A great help. I work in the construction game in a fifo role , with this I am in a camp most of the time , I found it difficult to get enough sleep being woken by the constant noise around , however now I have gotten used to the Bose sleepbuds it’s not a problem , I can get my 7 hrs I need to function , also another surprise is my tinnitus has gone at least while I have the sleepbuds in , much sounder sleep for me means a more productive day , cheers / good night. Work well when you can get them to work. Had these for 4 nights. They work well as a replacement for earplugs. However, connecting them to the app has been very frustrating. Last night it took me 3-4 tries of taking them out of the dock and putting them back in, then only one sleep bud being recognised. Tonight it took me 20mins. Not so good for calming me down before sleeping!

Sleep at last. As the years tick by my wife has put on a little weight and for the last 5 years snores every night. I am a very light sleeper, thus I wake when she hits the sack and starts snoring. Thus I need to go to another room. There are some great noise cancelling earphones but too bulky to sleep with. The sleep buds are PERFECT. Great white noise and slim enough that I can sleep on my side. Great Product…until it’s not. Got these as I work shifts and like the noise cancelling earbuds for sleeping. Worked great until suddenly the left earbud stopped working…would connect but no sound. Contacted Bose and they sent out a replacement pair and now the volume doesn’t go loud enough to hear…lasted about a year each and they crapped out! I would be so mad if they were $100 but close to $400 is not cheap for a sleep aid only! O ya my second pair is out of warranty but they will “let” me buy a new pair for $250!!! All around disappointed!

Hurt my ears/ looping sounds. I already used the smallest size still my ears hurt when I wake up. Also some of the sounds you can hear the looping sounds which is even worse than low quality YouTube sounds. You have to download/ transfer every single sound which takes a few minutes each and you can’t even listen to it first before downloading it so you wouldn’t even know what you downloading. Very frustrating

Poor Quality for the Money, sad.. I had Bose Sleep Buds 1 and now Sleep Buds 2. Very poor quality for the money. Not up to Bose standards. They’re great for cancelling other noises especially snoring. However, first pair had serious problems so Bose took them back. Now on my second pair, within 5 months I lost sound on left bud. And now the right bud is disconnecting and still has battery charge? What really upsets me, I’ve only had the Sleep buds 2 for 10 months total. Now Bose wants to charge me for a replacement pair because it’s past it’s 90 day warranty?! $250 for a refurbished pair. Lol, no thank you. I can see by the reviews other people have had the same issues. So make sure you get an extended warranty because Bose won’t help you. And you more than likely will have issues after their 90 day warranty. Maybe it’s time for a Bose Sleep buds 3, to hopefully improve all the issues with the left ear bud.

Disconnected while asleep.. DO SOMETHING!!!!! They are disconnecting sometimes even when they are fully charged. It was so bad that one time it made me wake up when I was already sleeping. I loved them ever since I got them but recently they are just disconnecting. Left earbud is just disconnecting again and again.. I woke up 5th time in between.

Issue after update the iPhone iOS. After I upgrade my iPhone to the latest iOS, the app can’t recognize the sleepbuds. My sleepbuds now are useless.

Sleep buds don’t connect.. Brand new. Connected to the phone once and then was never able to pair again. Sending them back.

Bose Sleep. Like many others my left sleep bud will not charge past 58%. It starts at 100% until I go to use them, download the update, or load new sounds. Then it drops to 58% and won’t do anything as it needs at least 60% to transfer sounds in the library etc... This new update has made them unusable really. I have done all of the recommended solutions, but still the same 58% when I try to update, load sounds etc... Obviously this update has ruined the usability for many. Please fix it with a new update. For the price we all paid for this product, you should start listening to the consumers who buy your Bose products. Please fix it!

Irritating repetitive sounds in the various audio files. I thought I was hearing things however if you check the Bose community forums you will see many others complain. Eg “warm static” has the sound of a dog barking …very faint however happens exactly at the same interval. Other noise masking files seem to have other random looping “sounds” in them. Seems like this has been reported by many users over the year however nothing from Bose on it. Will be returning product before 90 day trial is up. Shame as I do like them…they just need to clean up those audio files.

Add more variety of sounds in library. Love the track called Tranquility. Please add more tracks with music.

My Sleep Hero. So pretty much the best thing to happen to me.. with these sleep buds I have stopped taking my prescription sleeping pills and I get a much more relaxed and deep sleep. The buds are super comfortable and come with 3 different sizes ...the app is amazing so many different sounds to choose from you can’t not find something you love. You barely even feel them... you can go wrong with these.

Saved my marriage!. My husband snores a lot,and regular earbuds can’t stop the noise. I have been using the SleepBuds for almost 2 months now, and it saved me a lot a sleepless nights! They also help tremendously for my anxiety. That would be nice to have other sounds added to change things up!

Please fix. Used to work excellently, but now just wouldn’t connect to bluetooth. Also the right bud can only charge to 58%, and keeps disconnecting in seconds. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP BOSE!!

Music to my ears. I love love love the sleep buds...my only beef is that most of the choices are short repeats and are quite noticeable. If you’re going to repeat the sound then it should be recorded for at least 10 minutes to get the full experience. What I hear in the rustling leaves is a branch cracking every minute or so and the same with the boardwalk and rain showers. Just a suggestion otherwise my husband says I sleep very sound when I wear these so thank you!!! Debbie P.

Will not connect to my iPhone or iPad. These are now useless since the last IOS update. Anyone have a solution? They do not connect to my phone or iPad so I am unable to miss them at all.

Can’t connect buds. The settings icon has disappeared from the app and my sleep buds no longer connect to my iPhone. I can’t remove and re-add them, making them totally useless. Please fix this.

Genius Idea!. I work night shift and have to sleep during the day. 😴 So far they have blocked out annoying barking dogs, street noise, screaming children, sirens... it does take time getting used to having constant noise in your ears but it will get to the point that you will not be able to sleep without them! They fit comfortably for me, if it’s not comfortable just change the ear size... Very expensive but I’m happy I got them😴

Don’t waste your money. Haven’t had them even 2 years and wasted close to $400 on these. Battery life from the start was trash. Left ear bud crapped out pretty quick… And when they both decided to work it was the same sounds on ration, they never added new sounds. Contacted bose numerous times about defect with battery and left bud with no response. Went back to Bestbuy (where initially purchased from) and they claimed they have never sold this product so no help there. All around waste of money.

Not for everyone, but stick with it!. I’ve recently moved to a bustling part of the city, where noise at night is an issue. This combined with a history of poor sleep patterns meant that I was desperate for an answer. I’ve been using regular earbuds, combined with some peaceful music tracks, to try to combat my sleep issues for years, and even though this worked to a degree, it was never a long term answer. Even after just two nights of using the Sleepbuds, I’m already strongly convinced that I’ve found that answer! In fact, last night, I actually woke and was convinced that the earbuds had turned off, only to discover that it was my brain that had got so used to the app sound that it didn’t even realise it was still playing! The product is very well designed (as you’d expect of Bose), and does everything I’d want of it. The buds are comfortable and the sounds provided are varied enough that there should be a sound in the app that will work for you. So, don’t give up on them too quickly. They might not work for everyone, but give them at least a week before trying something different.

Why discontinue this product?. New to the earbuds, will you continue supporting this app even if product is discontinued? Please add more sounds . Thanks

Awesome. I love the sleepbuds! They have changed my life! I can finally sleep without being disturbed. Wish there was a thunderstorm and also driving in the rain with windscreen wipers sound! That would be fantastic!

The ONLY thing that helps me sleep. I have misophonia (hatred of sounds), so I could never sleep properly because my partners breathing/snoring kept me awake. The constant anxiety it gave me less to horrible sleep. These are quiet the pricey purchase but it’s 100% worth it because I’ve never slept better. Many people point out that they wish it connected to their own music but I just want noise cancelling sounds like white noise so I am good.

Terrible product and app. Never works. Wont connect to Bluetooth when I update it. I’ve tried everything. Plus the product broke before and wouldn’t charge. Bose kept saying they would send me a replacement pair and I had to call 8 times (I’m not exaggerating), the last time crying before they actually did.

Terrific product. I love my Bose sleep buds. I had a problem with the charging and hadn’t done anything about it for a few months. Wow what a regret. I sleep so much better and have a much better quality of waking hours because I get proper sleep. Bose replaced my defective sleep buds without an issue and quickly. The app is excellent. Performs well and does not disappoint. Sad that it’s been discontinued but I’m sure they are working on improvements rather than selling a known slightly defective product. That’s a solid business model.

Simply awesome!. I have never slept so good in my life! Seriously, I used to wake up so often and never felt rested. And now I get a solid nights sleep, pretty much don’t even wake up to go pee any more. Thank you Bose.

Problem. Left EarPods won’t connect ?

Pairing issue. Sleep buds aren’t discoverable since the latest iOS 13.4 update. I have an older machine I’m not updating and the buds are discoverable on iOS 13.3. Thanks.

Best earbuds. Saved my sleeping relationship with my boyfriend he has sleep apnea and snores incredibly loud, used these for a week straight have gotten the best week sleep in the last 9months. Definitely recommend. Only downfall I wish the phones volume buttons could control the earbuds volume.

Not what I hoped for. Was looking for something to give me silence while canceling out external noise. My ptsd makes me hyper-vigilant and easily startled by sudden noises while also making it hard to sleep to any noise in background

Fantastic absolutely Brilliant!. I was sceptical, but I’m a firm believer now. I was having troubles sleeping during the day as I work nights. There is a building under construction next door and you can imagine the din that comes with construction. I don’t hear a thing. I was concerned the buds would come out, but they never have. I found that the aviation sound it the best for me, a perfect white noise. Give the Bose Sleep buds a go, you’ll sleep better I’m sure of it.

App needs an update!. I know Bose has discontinued the sleep buds II - but the serious lack of digital hygiene to support their existing clients is weak. Many people still regularly use and rely on this tech and there is little to no support. This is the opposite care of what we have come to expect from this brand. Especially considering the price tag of this item. An update to this app would likely fix a lot of bugs. My buds no longer sync to the app unless I reset the case, reboot my phone, uninstall the app and resync them every night. There is no “forget” option like some online support states. It’s an absolute pain every night to get these to work and they don’t hold a charge, they die before they can wake me with my alarm so I have to set a separate alarm on my phone.

No support…no one to call…waste of a lot of money. Purchased for my wife. She finally decided to use this product . Out of the box failed:” left ear bud not found” ! No Bose help centre to call. Too late to return. This problem is mentioned on web, but no solution offered. It’s quite disgraceful. I guess it’s corporate policy to not help their customers. My suggestion: Do not buy this product

Good concept but bad execution. I love the buds when the work properly...that said I am now on my second pair with the same left but won’t charge beyond 58% charge issue. Looking at the Bose forum there are dozens of people in the same situation as me. Seems to be poorly executed firmware updates or hardware bugs but Bose is not at all proactive at addressing this issue once and for all...really shameful and disappointing

Sleep buds. I am really enjoying the sleep buds. They are helping to reduce the noises outside and inside, resulting in a better sleep. I would love to be able to listen to Christian instrumental music. Would this be a possibility? That would make it 10 stars. I would appreciate you feedback!

Terrible investment. I paid $300 + for them to stop working within a few months of using? Why is the left bud not connecting?

New pairing issue. The product use to be great however with the newest update my sleep buds are no longer connected with my phone and will not reconnect. They are shown but then when I press “add sleepbuds” an error always occurs. Really hope this gets fixed and it’s a great product.

Love, love, love them. I bought SleepBuds from Amazon on Prime Day. I just love them. They are comfortable, easy to charge, and the sound is perfect. I wish, though, there was a THUNDERSTORM sound that we could download. Then, they would be perfect!

Sleep buds not discoverable on IPhone. Worked fine before, however no longer discoverable on Bluetooth. Tried all the troubleshooting with no luck....please fix

Buds will not update. The sleepbuds are very difficult to pick up with Bluetooth since this update and they will simply not update once they do. Please fix!

Great but can be better. Add a software update that you are snoozing until the buds are back in the case for all alarms. Also, feed the sleep data to apple health including the time spent snoozing.

Sleep buds are great, app is horrible and glitchy. The app glitches out all the time…notifications don’t appear on Lock Screen (yes, I’ve turned on that setting even to ‘persistent’ notifications), the snooze feature glitches out, sometimes when I change an alarm it appears to change a different one, and sometimes the alarm goes off a few seconds apart on each earbud so the sound isn’t synced on both ears (that last part isn’t as big a deal). Please fix the glitchy app. If it worked properly I think this app would definitely deserve 5-stars.

App needs work. I have had problem sleeping for a while and the sleepbuds have really helped with that especially when others are in the room but the app feels like it barely works sometimes. It takes extremely long to connect to the sleepbuds even when previously connected a few minutes prior. Any time you need to change any setting it takes 30 seconds or more to load. Trying to snooze alarms or change an alarm and go back to sleep is extremely difficult due to how long it takes to connect since there is no way to control any settings from the home screen. It can be very frustrating at times

Terrible app. Great idea but poorly executed. Bose needs to do QC on this app.. The app is broken and doesn’t let you sample any songs. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. Looked for updates. Looks like the last update was 1 year ago!! It seems Bose has dropped this failed product. I agree with some of the reviews on the fact that 70% of these “sounds” just sound like loud noise. There are better royalty free rain sounds on the web that could be used. But I’m guessing the noise we hear in the background is helping with the boise cancelling. Changes that would improve this app: -Ability to import sounds. -Fix your buggy app! At least a 3-6 month patch update? (You could even let an intern work on it) -More sounds/music for the library. Pros: -The headphones are a perfect shape for sleeping. -It does actually cancel the noise around me. It’s a shame these were a gift. They were given with a good intention, but for as big of a company Bose is; they really dropped the ball with the resources they have. It was a great idea. But executed poorly. Honestly wouldn’t even feel the need to rate it one star if the app would just function.

Great product. I love my Bose sleep buds. They have helped me with getting to sleep and staying asleep. No more anxiety over noises and storms. However, I have two suggestions for future iterations of the app. The first is the ability to manage volume and change between My Sounds from the Lock Screen. The second is the ability to set up a timed play list. For example, I could set up 60 minutes of Tranquility then have it switch to Cascade for the rest of the night.

Finally Able To Sleep. These work amazingly for me. I have been using ear plugs of every type for over 20 years and the first night of using these is the best sleep I have had in a very long time. I am a very light sleeper and my husband snores, so after using ear plugs for so long I can’t sleep even when I am alone without them, every little thing sound bothers me. But ear plugs often give me ear aches, these felt like I had nothing but a pleasant sound in my ear. The best money I have probably ever spent.

Finally!!. I’m a very light sleeper and added to that have a partner and dog who snore! Tried white noise but still was waking up. Got these for Christmas and have been getting amazing sleep since. They took some time to get used too, I have sensitive ears but now I’m good. Only complaint there have been a couple times that they have not charged completely, even when they’ve been in the charger all day. Twice they have registered 100% charged and sometime during the night one has just stopped. That’s the only reason the the 4 stars not 5. Highly recommend for a good night sleep!

Need to be compatible with meditation and music apps. If I could link my headspace account for meditation automatically followed by the Swell sound masking for the rest of the night this would’ve be perfect. Relax me enough for sleep and then keep me asleep for the night. Could also use sounds specifically designed to help distract from the tinnitus. As it is, I do find these a necessity for being able to sleep through the night not only for the white noise masking sounds but also for when my tinnitus is really acting up. The Swell ocean wave sounds do help distract me from it some. Biggest complaint is a few times a month when I open the case and see the charged and ready light off for one or both earbuds and realize I didn’t seat them quite right. That improved seating with the audible snap that’s supposed to let you know it connected, needs more improvement. Overall mostly satisfied, but could use a few improvements.

Sleep. I just love my sleep buds. Due to the cancellation of production of sleep buds I am returning mine for a refund in hopes that in the not too distant future you will work out the bugs and begin production again. I am going to miss them immensely! I travel extensively and they are a godsend for those of us that are light sleepers and are in different motels and hotels nightly. I will be waiting on pins and needles for the newest version to hit the market. FYI...I own many Bose products and will continue to be a loyal customer. ❤️❤️❤️

Works well, sound choices week. The sleep buds works well with the new generation. On the other hand, the sound selection is week. Quite a few the sounds choices are basically the same. There needs to be a wider variety a good quality sounds selections. I use the sleep buds for the white noise to cover up my tinnitus ringing in my ears. They greatly improve my sleep cycle. But I only find two choices that work. The fire and the waves. All other choices sound very similar. I would suggest adding crickets, cat purring, low town continuous dong. Other suggestion is sounds that are used for meditation. Thank you for your consideration.

Give it a try. I was doubtful at the beginning to try the earbuds, especially with all the mixed reviews. I live with two roommates and one of them never sleeps at night playing video games in his room, and his noises wakes me up quite quite sometimes. Despite my complains to my landlord about my roomate; I eventually decided to try the sleep-buds for myself. Now it’s been 4 nights, that I’ve been enjoying my deep sleep. The buds are pretty comfortable and does stays in my ears throughout the night. I am pretty happy with the product.

First Night Was Perfect. I’ve slept better with some sort of white noise in the background. Your warm static option was perfect for me last night. I never heard my husband’s loud snoring. The ear buds are far more comfortable than the generic ear plugs had I been using. In fact, my old ear plus hurt my eardrums and didn’t actually block out the sound of snoring at all. I’ll have to keep using them to 100% give useful feedback, but I think they may significantly help with my insomnia.

Love them!! And a suggestion. I love these. After years of struggling with sleep, they have really helped distract me from my thoughts at night and fall asleep. Also, I was very happy to see the phone-free mode setting that was added recently. But, I would love if the phone free mode included an alarm option. I want to use the phone-free mode, but I also need to hear my alarm to get up for school. An optional alarm setting for phone-free mode would make this product even better.

Would love more if would consistently charge. Same as many, got as a gift because husband is a snorer. When they work they are great, but I have never had an easy time connecting them to charge. I was told this was an issue with the recent iPhone update and the app, I am SHOCKED it’s not fixed yet and I’m already on my second pair. Hoping if more people voice their charging issue it will be fixed sooner because the purpose is defeated when I can only wear them every other night or worse because they will not charge. Very frustrating

Ok buds, app is gimic, returned. With the hundreds if not thousands of applications out there that already produce white noise and various sounds, numerous of which are customizable to the user, I am surprised that this application is limited to so few. And the few that is limited to, are terrible. The tranquility background noise is way too short of a loop. White Noise should not be predictable or have easily identifiable patterns. There are also electronic fluttering and chirping noises from the buds themselves. Sometime the right, sometimes the left. I exchanged my first pair, but the second pair does the same thing. Seemed to be mostly the right bud on the first pair, and the left bud on the second pair. But both do it. I can hear it as loud as the white noise. I can hear the frequency of chirping change sometimes too. Like with a minute left on snooze, it goes very rapidly. Tried not setting alarms but still get electronic noises. Very annoying. The buds themselves are comfortable and mask outside noise well but are too expensive to just use as ear plugs. Ultimately I returned these and am waiting for next gen.

Overpriced and buggy. I bought these because my boyfriend snores loudly and it keeps me up. They’re comfortable for me to sleep in, but the app wouldn’t allow sounds to be downloaded. Eventually they allowed you to be able to download some new sounds and it crashed my sleepbuds. Tech support couldn’t help me and the tech guy at the store couldn’t either. The app is easy to navigate, but the sleepbuds themselves are faulty. I took them back twice and eventually switched to another bose product to try to help me sleep. I don’t recommend the product, but I do think with some real work, it could be an awesome product to help aid with sleepless nights.

Transformative sleep. I love this product and hope that you will continue figuring out how to perfect them. I have used them regularly to help me sleep next to a snoring husband but my favorite moment was during a two day race. We had five brief hours to sleep before our next run. We had to sleep on a gym floor with other runners and these earplugs worked wonders blocking the sounds to the number of people packing up or entering the space. I was able to sleep soundly. Thank you!!

💕💕Cannot do without - EVER!. I love my Bose sleep buds. I cannot even express the gratitude I have for them. My husband is a loud to me snorer and since I purchase these back in March of this year, 2019, I have been able to finally get sleep. Granted, I do have them all the way up, but man, I cannot be any happier! They ONLY downfalls I have is that, 1- I wish there were more noise canceling sounds to load, and 2- Bose has discontinued the buds!!! What!?!? OMG, please Bose, please don’t forget those who are so happy with this product! This app is awesome and we need it to continue to grow and update!!!

A luxury worth the splurge. The Bose Sleep Buds fit perfectly. In two months I have had only one come out mid-sleep. (I previously wore foam earplugs and had problems w them falling out.) The sounds are fine—there’s something for everyone. With the recent update you can swap around so you have more choices. BTW update was fast and easy. I definitely sleep better and, by putting them in when I start reading in bed, I think I am more focused. The case is great for travel—leave your home or hotel super early for a flight and the buds charge in the case and I can always charge the case back up the next night while the charged buds are in use. You do have to be careful that the buds have fully clicked in to charge—it’s easy and there’s an indicator light but I still had one sad night the first week with an uncharged left bud at bedtime. Worth the splurge to consistently get better sleep if noise keeps or wakes you up.

Thank you for dark mode!. I left a review on the first version of this app requesting a dark mode feature so the solid white interface wouldn’t blind me before going to bed. I just wanted to thank the devs so much for actively working so hard to make this product great! I use these every single night when I sleep now - even if i’m not trying to mask other sounds. Now please add some more “warm” sounds to the library!! Most of the sounds there currently are way too high pitched to sleep to sleep too. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

On the Fence.... While I think the sleep buds do as intended, block out outside noise, I feel the are over priced for what you get. As others have commented, I would like more variety in the “sounds” to choose from. More spa like music would be great. Spa music is some of the most relaxing music there is. But I do not regret my purchase, because they have succeeded in blocking out my husbands snoring. But I just feel like the app and earbuds should offer more. You basically are paying a lot of money for only 10 sounds to choose from. Right now, I would not recommend them. Maybe as the sound offering grows, I’ll begin to see more value in the product and will recommend to others.

Good but.... When they work, they are truly amazing. However, every few days one or the other sleepbuds either won’t connect or has such low volume that it is unusable. The only solution I can find is to delete and reinstall the app and then restart my device. Once it connects, I have to disable all other apps and turn off WiFi. For some reason this makes both buds work great for a few days and then the cycle starts again. It is more often the left bud that has issues but 2x it has been the right one. When they work however they are amazing and I get truly great sleep.

Best Purchase. I have had these for about three weeks and without a doubt this is one of the best purchases I have made. I previously used foam earplugs but I would take them out in the middle of the night because they hurt my ears. These earbuds are exceptionally comfortable and easy to manage. Love the alarm feature and ability to change to different sounds and adjust the levels. Still exploring full capability but I am sold and highly recommend this product.

Great app and product. It’s hard in a way to separate the product from the app but here goes: the app is easy to navigate and understand. Just like the sleep buds, the app helps promote sleep by narrowing the user’s focus to connecting the ear buds, selecting a relaxation sound and then off you go to sleep. As for the product, I wish the buds had a bit more memory so that they can hold more sound choices. I also would like faster charging but as they are, these sleep buds are pretty effective at getting the job done.

Finally Getting a Good Night’s Sleep!!!. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that I’m hoping a couple minor improvements could be made. More sounds such as rolling thunder, night frogs and bugs (like cicadas and/or crickets), tropical birds, wind in trees, and the like. Also, I would LOVE to be able to layer some of the sounds to tailor the sounds to me specifically. I will never use the “tranquilities” because they kinda creep me out. 😂 All that being said, I still LOVE them and use them every blessed night!

Phantom sounds on many tracks. I have "heard" ( tho I think it's probably my brain doing this) sounds of a dog barking and a siren like sound on certain sounds. I started using warm static almost exclusively. This morning I heard a voice on that one! On a Reddit thread I see others have the same problem. Possibly something to do with the file compression to low fi? One poster said it may happen to people with bad hearing. Mine is ok but not terrible. Bose fix this please! It has gotten to the point where I have trouble sleeping without them; NOW I'm having trouble sleeping WITH them!! I have had zero other issues and would have rested 5 stars if not for this problem.

Very effective!. These sleep buds do exactly as advertised. I sleep through the night and am not woken by other noises. I do have a suggestion with the alarm options. Rather than having to choose an alarm sound, would it be possible to have the sound turn off as your alarm? One night, my buds died half way through my sleep because I hadn’t charged them. As soon as the sound stopped I instantly woke up, would love to have the option to have the sound I select turn off at a specific time.

Great so far. I have only used them for a couple of nights and as of today I’m very pleased. I bought them because I have tinnitus and for the last several months I had to sleep on my back like a soldier to avoid putting my ears against the pillow and make tinnitus more noticeable. With this, I can sleep on my sides again ! Yesterday I woke up on my left side, this morning on my right side! that’s almost an accomplishment. I was afraid I was going to have to sleep on my back for the rest of my days.

Finally I can sleep. Thankfully I can finally sleep . This is my most favorite gift of all time . It totally has me not hearing my husband snoring , as well as the foot massager scrunching sounds , as well as the video game controller clicking sounds . Yes all at the same time o I forgot the tv shows . I like quiet my husband needs to drive me crazy with all of this . I’m glad you asked me to write a review , I tell everyone about them , You saved me from sleeping in my sons bottom bunk bed . My favorite sound is warm static . Good night Renee d

May need "HFT Super Glue Gel" for magnets on earbuds (HarborFreight tools). You could sleep next to train-tracts while locomotives go by, or near beeping vehicles in reverse using the bose sleepbuds. After a couple months the magnets began to remove themselves from the bose sleepbuds. Most glue does not work well for re-setting the magnets because of the high duration of time required; only glue with approximately 3 second set time is adequate. I spent the last few months struggling with charging because the magnets wouldn't attach. Just don't lose the microscopic magnet or your bose sleepbuds will forever be cursed.

Unexpected. When I purchased these I did not carefully read what I purchased which is totally my fault, but I was disappointed to find out it did not have the option or capability to sync with any music. I absolutely love them though. I am an extremely busy person with a lot on my mind and for whatever reason, even if I am exhausted and stayed up for 24 hours, my brain kicks into gear at like 10pm. Having these has mellowed my mind and helped me thoroughly sleep through the night. I absolutely love them. My favorite one is camp fire. Haven’t tried out the other ones. Best purchase for me!

Very comfortable and stays put. I love these things! I’d tried just about every ear plugs trying to block out my hubbys horrible snoring. They all made my ears feel very sore the next day, which did not go away for 2-3 days, and only got worse it I keep wearing them each night. These Bose earplugs are unbelievably comfortable, and the sleep sounds disguise his snoring so I’m finally getting good, uninterrupted sleep... and both hubby and I are much happier now. The waves one is my favorite sound as it encourages long, relaxing breaths, and I’m pleased it doesnt have the annoying bird noises.

Life Changing. This is a review for bother the sleep buds and the app. Of course I wish that these sleep buds did more (I wish they could be used as normal headphones), but Bose was straight up with what they said these sleep buds do and they deliver. My husband snores and he and I have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve slept thought the night for the past two days in a row without waking up in the middle of the night!! I only use the white noise feature (Warm Static) for 2 hours at the lowest possible setting that still is effective. 4 stars because I wish there were more variations for the alarm choices. They work but I don’t love any of them.

Bye bye earplugs. Bought these on a whim and they work great. The sounds drown out my husband’s snoring as well as my earplugs did. One suggestion - I saw the developer of Thunderspace, Away, Windy, etc reached out to see if a partnership could happen and I couldn’t support this more. His soundscapes were stunning and helped me relax and sleep. To have access to those through my sleepbuds would be a dream come true. His soundscapes would add versatility to this product - better for, say relaxing and meditating and escaping to s dreamy place on a long flight, for example than some of the less rich sounds that Bose has preloaded. Sleep buds. I think this product is great. I use the sleep buds to cancel out the noise from my night owl teenagers, Darth Vader CPAP sleeping next to me, as well as the water torture from my down spout dripping during rainy nights. I like the ease of use when bringing them with me to hotels when I travel. No more slamming doors or kids running up and down the hallways. Can’t say enough good things about this product. It did take a few nights for my ears to get accustom to wearing them, but now I hardly notice them. The travel bag doesn’t have room for the cord and wall charger unit just the sleep bud case so will need to pack them in a secondary bag.

These little things have changed my life!!!!. Before Bose Sleepbuds my life sleeping was awful. I am a very quiet sleeper but my husband snores like a 2 ton wildebeest. I slept with corded iPhone headphones for years listening to sleep sounds. To say that was inconvenient is an understatement. Even then nothing could drown him out. Then Bose came into my life. I don’t hear him at all. Just the sweet sounds of a waterfall. If my house was on fire I wouldn’t leave until I had my Sleepbuds. I only wish they had been around 7 years ago.

Really works. I have trouble sleeping. Not only because of outside noise but also just restless. I bought a set for me and have been using them. I noticed i wake up more rested. So they work for noise and relaxation also. I liked them so much I bought another set for my brother. And he Loved them. The price is high due to the technology. But can you put a price on better sleep. Also the sounds attached to the app are better than any other device I have owned. Love this item.

These are great!. I’ve had the sleep buds for about a week. I had been wanting to buy them and finally pulled the trigger. One of the best features is that they are comfortable in my ear. They do not hurt and are the appropriate size. I have to admit the noise masking technology is very effective. These don’t noise cancel but they’re very good at masking other noises so you can sleep. They help calm me — I don’t really have issues with staying asleep, but definitely with falling asleep. These rest my mind for sure. I highly recommend them.

Waiting for app to work correctly after update. I had the original Sleepbuds, which were okay when they worked. I now have the Sleepbuds II and it’s clear that there are still major connection issues with the app. My Sleepbuds play all night and my alarms work, but somehow still disconnect from the app during the night, making the process of using snooze or dismissing the alarm a major pain. Tired of repeatedly unpairing my sleepbuds, turning off Bluetooth, turning on airplane mode, putting earbuds in the case, resetting case, restarting device, reconnecting Sleepbuds, close out app, reopening app, deleting app then reinstalling app and still having connection issues. Really hope this app can be more consistent go forward.

Great concept but needs more options. I love the concept as I suffer from insomnia and am sensitive to sounds. This is great but the options are limited. It would better if they offered more sounds such as thunderstorms rumbling in the distance, soft Caribbean sounds with waves in the background, palm trees that rustle in a light breeze to name few. Some of the sounds also do not sound as crisp to me like you think they should especially at the price you pay for the earbuds and they only have the one job. If they tweak the sounds and add more options you will have a fabulous product!

Best night sleep!. I’ve been using Apple In-ear buds for years to have background noise all night and mask my husbands snoring. They work great but I tended to get ‘caught up’ in the cord. This option is so much more freeing. No cord to get tangled in! The only thing I wish for is the option to play my own choice of whatever - be it book, music, or static noise. Maybe a new addition will give that option. But I find that even having to choose from the Bose list of noise masking sounds it’s still soooo much better than snoring. Try these! You’ll be glad you did!

Annoying in Every Way. First, if you’re a side sleeper like me, this bud’s NOT for you. Laying on the ear bud, the sound is cut off, the rubber rubs against the pillow, making noise, and your ear will be so sore from laying on it, you can hardly touch it in the morning. Second, for a Company that prides itself in sound quality, the sound selections are very poor audio quality replete with annoying loops, clicks, squeaks and who knows what else. Third, the ear buds rely on the app to get started, but once started they have a life of their own. There’s no way to turn down the volume or change sounds from your phone because they lose contact with the phone overnight. I bought two sets for me and my wife...big, expensive mistake.

I like these but I could love them if.... I like these sleep-buds but I would love them if Bose could team up with Calm. I have had my sleep buds for about 5 months and use almost every night. My husband was snoring and it was waking me up or causing me trouble getting to sleep. Now I can go to sleep and sleep through the night. Prior to purchasing the sleep buds I used the Calm app for stories, music and meditation to go to sleep. I really miss the options! I have used all of the 20 sounds on the Bose but now I am bored with them. I need variety, I like changing it up. This is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. If Bose would team up with Calm I’d give this product 5 stars!!

Awesome product. For anyone who struggles with getting a good night sleep, these sleepbuds are a must! They help...a Lot! So grateful Bose has made this product and sad they are discontinuing it. The battery life/charging can be a challenge at times, but overall the benefits outweigh the cons, and you can’t put a price on good quality sleep that impacts your daily life! Thank you Bose for all your hard work and the support you provide in times like these. I would still highly recommend the Sleepbuds!

Excited For the Sleepbuds ll. In desperation in went to the Web looking for sleep earplugs and saw that Bose had come out with a new version of Sleepbuds- I am over the moon! I loved my first set- until they didn’t work properly (went through several pairs) I believe I almost cried when I got my refund check, that’s how much those baby’s changed my life. The app seems great, more features, louder volume (I don’t have to turn these all the way to the loudest) and best part no more snoring husband or wires wrapped around my neck from corded, uncomfortable earphones. Thank you Bose for not giving up!!!!!!!

We LOVE our Bose Sleep Buds! Worth the money!. My husband and I have tried the traditional ear plugs and even taking melatonin before bed to try to get a good night’s sleep. The ear plugs would often fall out at night and I didn’t like the idea of taking the melatonin nightly. The Bose Sleep Buds are comfortable and they block out all of the outside noise that can keep you up at night, including the snoring from your spouse. I love that you can set an alarm to wake yourself up without your spouse having to wake up to “your” alarm too. We love our Bose Sleep Buds!

Great product, I hope they fix all issues. This has been a God’s gift to my life. My husband snores and my marriage was being affected due to my mood swings for not sleeping properly. I absolutely LOVE this product, I have given them as gifts to friends with the same issues and was disheartened to see that they have been discontinued. I hope they fix whichever issues the pods have as this has been life changing and I can’t go anywhere without mine.

Sleep buds are great; wish app was dark. The most annoying thing to these sleep buds are the actual app itself. The app is bright white if you decide to use your buds in the middle of the night or when you’re trying to get to bed and connecting your buds, you have to open the app, in which case you’re then blinded by a bright white app that totally throws your sleepiness off. Especially in the middle of the night. Why is the app icon black but the app itself white? Doesn’t make sense at all. Please change it to a darker background to make it more conducive to sleeping!

Drowns out snoring but sound bank too limited. I wish these sleep buds would let me listen to my database of sleep meditations. Although the bose sleep app’s white noise library helps to drown out snoring noises, I normally listen to guided meditations to wind down. But there’s no way for me to listen to my own audios with these sleepbuds. I pray that the 3rd version of these ear buds would allow users to listen to their own audios. Also, hope they’ll be able to make the earbuds softer… they do hurt if you are a side sleeper.

Love these!. Please don’t discontinue them! They give me a good nights sleep, finally. Earplugs just don’t work, snoring goes right through. The Bose sleepbuds helped me sleep well on a work trip this week where sleep was critical. The first night I was awoken very early (430am in a different time zone than mine by 2 hours, so 230am to me) by street sweepers and garbage trucks 14 floors below; night 2 and beyond I wore these and slept through the night flawlessly each time. I’ve never had a problem with mine.

Worth it. They’re not cheap but they’ve made all difference for me in getting a good night’s sleep wherever I go. Super comfortable, easy to use and adjust, and with great battery life, there’s not a lot I’d change. The most annoying thing is when the app can’t find the earbuds and forces you to put them back in the case and plug the case in to reset them. It’d also be nice if they require the proprietary charging cable. Otherwise, I’ve got no complaints.
