Garbage and here’s why.... Take a picture and it uses half your face, anything below the eyeballs, skin tones don’t match up with the movie face. Would be better if the movie face was layered over the camera image before taking the picture otherwise you will waste lots of time snapping and waiting for editing to complete only to find out it’s GARBAGE!

Nothing but errors. The only reason it gets 1 star is that I can’t use fractions. This app is complete garbage and does not work. I got an error message with every upload. I wish I had bought a plastic spoon with my $2.99 to shove up my @&$!

Cool concept but that’s it. For three dollars it is what it is. You’re going to waste more money than that on a cup of coffee might as well try it out for yourself and see what results you get.

Not good so far. Update to the review below: still the exact same error every time. Got one movie out of it, no sound though, is that correct? Since then, solid errors because “our servers are jammed, try again later.” Hope it gets corrected soon or I’ll expect a refund.

Mediocre. Some work and look as advertised while others appear cut and paste. I also wish there was more of a selection to choose from.

IphoneX. Have enjoyed it in the past, but recently after viewing/watching a clip it is zoomed in about 400x and is unusable to the point you can’t find the back button. I have to close the app altogether and restart.

Waste of money!!!!. This seemed like it would be fun and easy. Once downloaded I regretted it in 5 min, the faces don’t look like the advertisements it does not blend your face good, it’s a gimmick and not many options. This would be an awesome free app but to pay anything for this 🤦🏼‍♂️

No Black Actors. This app doesn’t really work for people who aren’t white men. There are no black actors, only a couple non-white actors, and very few women. This app would be 5 stars without this issue. I wanted to use it for a group trivia but I can’t because of this problem.

Kept saying no internet connection. Probably worst part was waiting on hold to get my $2.99 back from iTunes. Tired of these developers not having their apps functioning for latest updates.

Took a few tries but it worked. It took a few times of reinstalling before it would work. Once it did, it’s pretty neat.

Refund. I literally just paid $2.99 for this about 4 minutes ago and I would like a refund please. This is a horrible app and also a mid-leading app with hidden fees and horrible quality. Please refund my money as I am deleting this app ASAP

Funniest thing ever!. Works as advertised. You may have to practice with lighting and positioning. Worth every penny!

My first four out of four attempts, say face error. I just purchased this and tried four different times, everyone comes out as a face error. Haven’t got it to work yet.

Very few movies - mostly with male roles.. There are only 22 movies to choose from (of all movies ever made, really?), and just 5 of them are female roles. It’s fun to play with for a few minutes, but they need a MUCH bigger library of movies before charging any money for this.

Great app. I feel sorry that the developer has to explain to the illiterates out there who struggle with the simple directions!

Should be free for the quality of the app. For paying 3 dollars this app is nowhere near as polished as it should be. only a few of the clips actually work how they should, the rest the faces don’t even look attached to chosen character. Don’t bother with this app

Fun but not enough female face swap options. I am giving this a three star review because while it was fun it was very quick to go ahead and complete the female options. Well there are like 12 for the men can you please do an update and add some more female roles.

BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY. I’ll be demanding a refund for this hot garbage. The app advertises as if they import your faceless for a see less fun look but it’s no even close or that. Despite how perfect you take and measure your image it’s an always cheesy blurry edge image that last for 10 seconds over some theme music. What a major disappointment.

Doesn’t work!. I want a refund. I’ve had this app for a few weeks and it either states “problem with our servers” “to many people” or “poor internet connection” or things along that lines. Is it a bug? Please help me.

Great fun app. Having a great time with this app. This version is 95% there. It just need to improve the blend of the edges of the picture with the movie background to make it perfect And add more movies please!

Sad. Was so excited to try this. Not one pose or picture uploaded right. Somebody else’s same face appeared every time with a smile. I took my pictures with and without my glasses and smile. Not once was it me. It was some default person.

It’s funny. It’s as advertised. I’ve done a few and they work about as much as you’d expect it to. Funny, but probably not worth the $3.

Not bad for 3 bucks. I’ve spent much more on far worse things. Ill change to 5 Star if they continue to add movies.

Does exactly what the video shows. I don’t know why people are hating on this app so hard. It does exactly the same thing in the video with more options and it’s 2.99 so it’s cheap. It’s just for fun and does what it’s supposed to.

Doesn’t work. This app does not work. I took the photo and did the step of adding it to the movie but it only shows it is downloading but it never actually downloads or gives you the chance to even see it. There were mixed reviews. I wish I had listened to the bad ones.

It’s alright. It’s not bad, it has a lot of potential but I am noticing a lot of bugs.

Review. It’s a fun app. It just had too little movies, and too many server problems for the $3 price point. I would not recommend until these issues are dealt with. I haven’t been able to use the app for hours now due to server problems. It’s unacceptable.

Great idea but. No matter how many times i try, my face never seems to line up and fit properly, and the face outline to use as a guideline needs adjustments. Why are the ears so low? My face always seems to be very low when the final edit is done, regardless of my adjustments

How can this app have 4.5 stars???. Something must be wrong with the App Store! This app is horrible! User interface is a joke - can’t navigate back to cancel out of taking a pic. Where is the multiple face shot feature ? Why does it start making a movie when I do t want it to? Etc. not enough movies. Etc etc

DO NOT BUY (READ REVIEWS FIRST). I got this app for editing, i was making a video for my dad and i myself am an editor. I got to the part where i had to dub my fathers face in a custom video that i had in my camera roll, i will say that i didn’t read the part where it says you can’t have custom videos but that’s alright. Besides that, i figured i’d put his face in the joker template (the first one that pops up). The quality of the face replace. its so bad that i think my nephew with a couple hours in capcut could do 20x better. before the developers respond to this and say “use better lighting or have less darkness or do another angle” i’ve tried, and it looks wayyyy worse. stay away from this app if you like good quality.

Don’t waste your money. If I know there was only seven videos you can choose from I won’t even bother purchasing it!! You think they’ll be more videos for something that you’re paying for?

Crap. Don’t buy.. Spent my money. It’s crap. Won’t use my Photos or my camera to take a picture. Keep saying I need to take a picture. But it won’t let me. Waste of money. I would probably avoid any apps from this company.

Awful. Doesn’t work. Even when I have a perfect picture to use, the scene doesn’t even use my face, it uses some generic white dudes face for all the scenes. You literally could have to just put my face unblended on the actors faces and it would have at least made me laugh. Complete waste of money.

Not Terrible anymore. Apps keep crashing even after updating to ios 12 I've deleted and reinstall the app and still keeps crashing Re- installed again this time And is working great and enjoying the app

Terrible - still crap. App never works, all the 5 star reviews are fake. It literally has never worked. I don’t even want the app anymore but i make it a point to try it every other week just to write a new review of how terrible it is. It doesn’t work... servers have been jammmmmed ever since it downloaded! BS!! Give me my money back and delete your app

Hilarious. Awesome app to have on a boring day. I laughed so hard at what I can create. Only issue is this app seems to be racist. There’s seems to only be white actors to choose from

Terrible. Doesn’t really work right most the movies won’t load. Someone at iTunes should be reviewing these apps. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell us this garbage there’s no way a single customer has made anything remotely close to what they advertised. The movie I did get to load looks horrible, I could of done a better job myself.

Face Oscar- Never works. No matter when I try to use the app, it never works. The app opens, I select a picture to be used, select a movie, and try to view the updated movie, and it constantly says that it is too busy. I wouldn’t really care, but they charged for the app.

I love this app and always have a solid laugh with friends every now and again but I’ve had this app for around 6 months or longer and have only seen a few new movies arrive, thought there would be dozens on offer by now. I made a few videos then it stopped working. I made 5 videos then it would be editing forever and not finish. I deleted and the rest installed and now I cannot get into my videos at all. Then deleted and re downloaded again and now comes up as error! Give me my money back!

Not Worth The Money. This should be a FREE app with two to three movies available. Than if you chose to want access to more movies and features make it as an in app purchase. Otherwise not worth it.

3 videos then game over. Same as others. You make 3 videos and then server error constantly. Disappointed. Almost seems intentional.

Errors make it worthless. It works now, you pay for it then are expected to pay for additional skins immediately after the first couple options.

FaceOscar wins a razzie. Nice idea but the functionality doesn’t really work. Difficult to get a face properly fitted into it without looking mangled. Plus movies are too old, my kids wouldn’t know any of them so they wouldn’t really be able to laugh at dad anyhow.

Fun app, but major glitches!. When you’re at the main menu or viewing your video it magnifies and you can’t get out of that view making the app useless.

Save your money.. Won’t accept picture—default error. And before the developer says you need goo lighting and such, I’m a photographer and know a little about photo composition. Released this app prematurely I think.

Ugly quality. It is a very poor developed app. The app is buggy and the algorithms of face replacement are in extremely bad quality. I do not recommend to use it, it is a shame for developers to release it.

Movies. Not enough movies to pick from. Plus I’m an African American and don’t see movies for me. Movies with Denzel, Will Smith and others should be an option.

Refund requested. This app is trash it’s not even ok in a silly way. It doesn’t line up, there is no audio and there are only a couple of videos.

Glitches. Glitches out with my beard really bad. When asked company about a refund they said I didn’t know know how to work it properly. Very rude support team.

Don’t download this app. So after you pay the 2.99 you then have to BUY not RENT!!! The writes to the movies meaning you will be paying another 20 something dollars for the movie.
