Love this app. Found on r/dataisbeautiful. Found this app a couple months ago and have loved it more and more as updates have been coming out. The addition of pictures is by far My favorite thing about Moodistory. Sometimes all I need for my daily entry is the mood/color and a photo and nothing else. I wish there were notifications from the app to take a picture that we could customize. Like instead of being prompted to add an entry, just add a photo.

The best mood app ever!. First of all I really love this app. I almost never buy apps but let me tell you it’s worth the small price. I have chronic anxiety and some days can be really good or really bad, seemingly for no reason. This app is extremely helpful for grounding and keeping track of my emotional patterns. It has helped me to be accountable and better communicate with my therapist. I love how simple and friendly the interface is. It’s so smooth and not intimidating at all. I’ve tried other apps but quickly stopped using them because it felt like more of a hassle than a help. With this app I actually look forward to checking in because it’s so easy. Anyway you should download this app lol. It’s fantastic

Great app for reflecting. I have been going through a super rough relationship and it has been super helpful for me to be able to check in with myself and see where I am at and being able to go back and see how badly this affects my mood. 10/10 recommend, super easy to use and works perfectly. I love the little reminders to check in each day. Definitely glad I use it

Need more contents, especially “add photos” to entry. I really loved this app, one of the paid app that yearly worth it All I want is an “add photos” to entry option. I went to the movie with my friends and took a picture of ourself. I wrote about it and I wish I could at least stick a picture on the entry. Although it’s still a great app

Simple but powerful - actually using it. I came across this application incidentally and decided to download it as I had been considering starting a mood / activity journal of some sort for various reasons. I’ve been very impressed. It is easy and intuitive to use, powerful enough to be useful, and I love the opportunity to optionally add free form journal entry to each entry. I’ve used the reminders functionality so that I’m prompted throughout the day to make an entry. I enjoy the UI/UX. One area I’d like to see improvement on is instead of just a linear scale for mood represented by large frown through to broad smile, the ability to record emotions via an intuitive emotion wheel chart.

Cute and actually works. I’ve been trying to track my moods for a while now (mostly any episodes I have) and this app is the only one that is truly usable without the subscription. I like the way it calculates a mood average for days with multiple entries. A feature I would really love to see is more icons for custom events, or at least support for photos (transparent background pngs, for example) to be used as icons. Aside from that small thing, I genuinely do like this app.

Most Useful Mood Tracker I’ve Encountered. I started using Moodistory to track my moods to see if I had PMDD. Spoiler: yup, I do. But I still use this app multiple times a day to track my moods and journal my feelings. I am trying to be a more responsive parent versus a reactive one and being able to journal on the spot is very useful. I can also use the mood tracking to see if anything is going haywire with my hormones or meds. I also LOVE that you can make your own color scheme. That part has helped my brain with the data the most! And my doctors love the data tabs because they present everything in an incredibly detailed yet readable way. Definitely worth the download and definitely worth the subscription.

Much Appreciated Labor of Love. This app is so neat, helpful, easy to use, and also just cute. I so appreciate the work and time that goes into building and maintaining apps like these, and this app in particular just rolled out an adorable update that lets you control the mood colors, which is weirdly valuable to my smooth marble brain? Highly recommend!

Honestly superb. This is the only app of its kind that I've managed to stick with and use every day. The developer is awesome at listening to users feedback and implementing features that are requested. Loving the new timeline view! It's one of those features I didn't know I needed until I saw it, and now I wonder how I ever lived without it 😆 Great job!

Easy and Intuitive. Moodistory is a very simple but effective app to track mood. There aren’t a lot of layers to go through to actually record your information. You can track mood and associated activities, and the app presents that info back to you in visually appealing and useful ways. The app will show you a calendar with your recorded mood and give you information about activities associated with positive and negative moods. There is also a good amount of customization for folks who want to record mood at different times of the day or have a different scale (e.g., 1-5 instead of the default 1-6). The visual customization is great, colors are distinct, and the graphics for activities you can associate with your mood are nice. Highly recommended! It’s helped me with perspective on how I’m feeling without taking a lot of doing to enter the information.

Great way to collect personal data.. I found this app through a Reddit post. I started just trying to note my mood at least once a day. The randomized reminders really help me because if it was at the same time everyday I wouldn’t pay attention to the prompt.

Love it! Helping a lot!. I really like the ability to track what’s making me feel certain ways, if I were to make a suggestion, I’d say more icons for events, more color customization (editing the background, text color, etc), maybe customizing the little mood not with a hat or something would be kinda neat, and lastly, more color options, maybe being able to select colors from cmyk sliders, a color wheel, etc and add them to the base palette or at least a few for a favorites bar or something. I’m also having a slight error wherein the missing entry icon on the page that shows recent entries won’t go away, even when I click it and make an entry it doesn’t leave and I have no clue what it’s for or what to do about it

Lovely little mood tracker. I’ve started therapy & needed something to help me track my moods on a regular basis. Just to check in with myself & how I’m feeling. I like that Moodistory doesn’t try to do too much. You can track your moods, tag, see patterns, and little journal entries. That’s what I wanted and what I got. Great, reliable app all around 😀

I love this app.. I’ll say now that I was “prescribed” this app when I first started some serious therapy. I liked being able to track it and it helped me realize times I was in days (or weeks) long depression episodes. I really enjoy being able to track things that might be triggers. I have found out a lot about myself by using this to listen to myself. If that makes sense. Thanks to the crew at Moodistory you’re awesome and have made an impact in my life.

Extremely underrated. This is the best journaling app I’ve ever tried. A great UI that is clean and simple yet offers tons of customization. The color palettes are like glasses of fresh cold water to my eyes. I drink it up. I love looking back and seeing pictures. Just random picture from 2 years ago on my balcony. Not a special picture necessarily but it was of my view in that moment. Reading the entry really took me back. This is a fantastic app that I’m getting back into and hope to fill it up. I journal in a proper notebook as well so I think I’ll use this more for quick thoughts feelings moments and of course the pictures. Where as my journal I’ll probably continue to use more long form entries.

Amazing App. So this app is pretty straightforward and gets the job done fantastically, having a pretty skeleton for tracking mood, identifying which days are horrible and which ones are good, etc. My only gripe with the app is that the font is a bit too big and everything feels a bit cluttered - and even though the customization is on point, I’d like the option to switch around some of the UI or change the font so it’s smaller. But the devs are doing a fantastic job

Incredibly helpful. I suffer from a number of mental illnesses, and this app has been extremely useful and easy to use when it comes to tracking my moods and thoughts throughout the day and night. It’s a million times easier than trying to write diary entries. I want to thank the developers for creating this app because it’s really having a positive impact on me.

The best mood-tracking app!. I am notoriously terrible with maintaining consistency with daily mood-tracking apps, but not with moodistory. The app is easy to customize and I love being able to control the frequency/time that reminders to log are delivered! The watch app is a lifesaver when I'm on the go too. Mood, the daypart, and what activities I am engaged in are quick to log. The developers did a great job and I can't believe I finally found something that has stuck!

Good app, plenty of features. Title. I like it. However I don’t usually write reviews for apps I download, but the developer seems to respond to them and there is a design flaw I would like to mention. When you scroll through the moods, you have to move your finger from the right to the left to get the LEFT option. This should not be the case; it is backwards. When you move your finger to the left, it should move to the right option. This is how it is when you scroll through a webpage as well. It is very confusing the way it is right now and against the norm. Please fix or give me a solid reason why you have it the way you have it right now!

A great start. I love how easy this is. I like journaling but I’m not very consistent with it. I like how I can make it more simple or detailed depending on how I’m feeling. It’s great to be able to check in with myself emotionally throughout the day. The only complaint is that I wish I had more emotions to choose from. I would love for you guys to add angry/irritated, anxious, tired, stressed, etc.

Perfect App. This is the mood tracker you’ve been looking for!! I’ve been using Moodistory for about 4 months now and have zero complaints. Looking back at my mood across months with a birds eye view is an eye opening experience, and clicking back on days that are on the upper or lower end of the scale brings what matters into perspective. Thank you developer for having so many customization options while keeping the UI simple and fun to navigate! Moodistory has become a small but important part of every day for me. I hope the developer continues to support this and also makes more incredible apps with their talent.

A few misunderstandings but fantastic customer support. So by all rights I had my apprehensions and was quite upset with a couple of features that in turn were based on my assumptions rather than the text at hand. The watch app currently does not support GPS location when logging events, though through my support emails that is subject to change it looks like, and the watch app does not support logging heart rate during the taking of mood notes which is something I had assumed it did but upon further reading of the text description realized that it was my error in that assumption. While I have provided suggestions through the support emails and the responsiveness has been high, I had originally planned a three star rating. But based on customer support and future upgrades I reserve a five star rating.

Love this app!. I really love your app! thank you so much for your hard work. The app is so beautiful and I use it daily since I got it about 3 months ago. I check in from my watch as soon as something great happens or theres a change in my mood. Can you please add fitness and sleep syncing from current and even past posts? I would like to track how fitness and sleep also has effect on my mood

Great app!. Thank you for creating this app, it is really great when I’m trying to monitor my mood on certain days. I’ve noticed an uptick in my mood from October to November because I’m thinking about it each day thanks to this app. It’s helping me to keep myself in a routine and in check. My only critique that I can offer is to have a “true neutral” mood. Sometimes I’m just meh and not really feeling anything and it would be useful for those days where I’m not sure what to pick. Thanks again for this wonderful app!

The best one I’ve used. Such a well designed app!!! I’ve tried a few different journal/mood trackers before, and while they are all functionally similar, I’ve found Moodistory to be the easiest for me to maintain by far. I haven’t missed a single day of recording my mood since I first downloaded the app a few months ago, whereas with other apps I often stopped a few weeks in. I think a big reason why is, the app is just soooo well designed and pretty to look at, so it’s quite a pleasure to record my mood! All of the diagrams and stats are useful too. Worth every dime :) A tangential note - as someone who’s dabbled in mobile development and has interest in UX, apps like this one inspire me to learn more

Only app that I actually use consistently. The app’s flow and general design and features make it so it’s the most useful of it’s genre. I’ve tried other apps but this one hits a stride that makes it easy to use and easy to get into. You can be as detailed as possible, or as minimal as possible. Also the visualization is very well made and customizable.

I’m impressed. I’m a 23 Male and I have to say I am enjoying this app a ton. You can customize it to be a mans experience rather then a woman’s. Several apps like this are catered to women. I like having a place to post my feelings and the things I’ve done during the day. It’s also nice that I can go back to any day and read the fond memories or the dumb problems. I personally haven’t changed anything in my life because of this app but that’s because I’ve only been using it for a week. I fully plan on changing my daily life because of this app. I also agree your health on iPhones should be connected to this app and also I have no clue if you could partner with Fitbit but that would be great. Thank you for the fantastic user interface and the cheap price.

Really good App. got the app when it was a one time purchase last year and its great. I can track which things made me especially upset or sad and which ones made me happy. Interface is nice and for someone like me who has a routined day to day it helped me see which events tilted me so I avoid doing it till later.

Unheard of. In the app game, or in tech in general, I’ve never actually seen a company truly commit to customer experience / user feedback. Chris and Moodistory request and actually listen to all customer feedback and actually implement that into their app updates. This is truly incredible. Beyond that, this is a beautiful, easy to use journal app that is a steal because other apps will have you pay a monthly fee. I find that tracking my mood shows me how my mood varies and it’s all a part of consciousness. I’m big on mindfulness, and for me, this app is a great reminder that moods come and go and I don’t need to worry about a bad mood because it will pass. Lastly, I like the design and colors so much I’d buy a sweater with the logo on it. Thank you Chris and Moodistory!

So much customization!. I bought this app after seeing a post on Reddit featuring it. I’ve been looking for an app to track my mood and this does it so well! From having intuitive reminders to being able to customize my color theme, I feel like this app does everything I could ask for. I love that you can record what activities you did throughout the day and write a short note about the day. It’s such an awesome app! My one recommendation would be to integrate Apple’s Activity and/or Health App, if possible. It’d be cool to see how much physical activity you did (or didn’t do) throughout the day to see how it effects your mood. I know nothing about app development, so I don’t know if it’s even possible. Overall I am loving using this app!

Pretty perfect app. Just moved in with a girl and her kids and after an argument last night, i woke up sort of mad and depressed. So much so that it made me want to track my happiness for a while to get a good visual sense of what my life actually looks like and if I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I was hoping that after a few month, the answer would be clear. I purchased this app because it looked fun and complete and it does EVERYTHING I need it to do and more. It makes me aware or my moods and what affects them, completely feeds the dataviz nerd in me, and I even naturally started using it as a journal from day one even though I never held one. Great job on this app. Thank you!

Best mood tracker I’ve tried. All the features you’d want without the mumbo jumbo. I don’t want an app to motivate me to meditate or workout or whatever. Just to track. This app does that in style. I was a user of Moodistory years ago and stopped for a while. The additions to the app since I have returned to using it make it even better and really show that it is maintained by a caring dev team. My favorite new feature is the widget that shows you photos associated with good days. What a nice thing to have sitting on my Home Screen. Thanks to the Moodistory team for making a feature heavy yet still no frills app for mood tracking.

Love this app - easy to use!. I’ve been using this roughly two months and I love it! The color customization and event icon customizations is the best part. I like that I can remove events that aren’t relevant to me (like fishing and billiards) and add ones (like reading and walking my dog)! Also being able to quickly add my moods on my Apple Watch has made it a ton easier to keep track of my moods throughout the day. Great job!

Like it a lot. I need to use it more!. I like that this app feels secure, private, unobtrusive, and not pushy if I don’t want to engage with it. Main due side is that too often I don’t. I really enjoy it when I remember it’s there though, and I appreciate that it’s not spammy with notifications. I love all the icons for activities (though I don’t usually apply them to that *moment*, but rather that day or so, so my analytics may be a little thrown off associating immediate mood with activities).

Love it. Everything I need in a mood tracker, and very easy to use. Love the analysis it gives me about things. Been using it for 1 month now and it’s been helpful. However I wish I could have two copies of this app or profiles something, because I would love to be able to track my energy levels in the same way this app tracks my mood, but I can only choose one or the other, while I would like to track both. I get that’s outside the purpose of this app, but it would be nice.

Simple but effective. I downloaded this after seeing a mood calendar posted in Reddit. I wanted to see how seasons, my work schedule, and other factors affect my mood and overall happiness. It’s really simple to create an entry about your feelings that day, and easy to find patterns on what affects your mood. I’ve already made some changes to impact my mental health, and for that reason this app has proven invaluable.

Fantastic App. Fantastic app with a great UI. Documenting everything becomes enjoyable and easy to do. The app is easy on the eyes and allows for a lot of customization. I do however wish there were more icons to apply for custom stuff. The clip art does seem a bit limited, and sorting through stuff I don’t do can be a bit tedious. I don’t see a way to completely remove things from the Events menu (i.e. I don’t play Badminton). I wish I could customize the Events menu just a bit more.

Exactly What I Wanted. I have been planning to make some software that tracks my mood along with my vital signs on and off for about a year now and I am so happy I found this app. It does exactly what I want it to and even had a reminder that I set towards my “wind down” time of the day. I think the data collected from this, along with other health metrics, could have very useful implications for actionable steps to improve one’s quality of life. I was happy to pay for the app and I hope to see wide-spread adoption and use of this app! Please market as much as you can reasonably afford to and get some testimonials of people who have made changes in their life for the better with this app. 10/10 please continue to update and support 😁👍🏻

A lifesaver. I’ve never written a review for an app, but I feel so passionately I’d like to write one. This app is incredible. The customizability makes it so that it can be whatever you want. I use it to track not only mental health but chronic illness symptoms. It’s so handy to be able to keep and write this stuff down, especially with my ADHD, so my memory is terrible. It’s a lifesaver to be able to pull up this app and tell doctors what’s been going on. Another thing I love about this app that you don’t seem to get with many others is you can put in multiple entries per day. My mood fluctuates so much, so this is a really important feature to me. The customizability not just with tracking but with the colors and app icons are very fun. You can truly make it your own. I love this app with all my heart!! My only suggestion is to please add more icons! Even miscellaneous ones to choose from. Those would be super cool and I’d love to see that in the future. Thank you for making this app!!

Simple and comprehensive. I’ve used a lot of these over the years. I appreciate that this doesn’t try to be more than a mood journal because it does that REALLY well. It’s modifiable to what you need and track and simple. At first I was annoyed that there’s no true neutral option but after using it appreciate having to decipher which side of that I’m on. Very useful for anyone doing therapy or medical work where mood tracking is relevant or someone looking to gain more insight into trends/correlations and how they are day-to-day. The app for the Apple Watch has helped me log frequently and quickly (under 30seconds if I’m not specifying any tags)

Great little app!. Unlike Apple’s mood tracker, this app can be locked so that if I hand this phone to my kids to play a game or otherwise unlock my phone, this app is still locked. I can also add more than general categories for reasons for my mood. I know that hampers some data slicing, but since the info can be exported as a csv I can use hashtags or other ways to filter.

Better than every other mood tracker I’ve tried. Everything about the app truly is wonderful, it’s well worth the money if you want a mood tracker, I only wish there was a way for it to calculate the overall mood for the day based on the time spent feeling each mood (since I’d like to update it every individual time my mood changes) rather than the quantity/ratio of each mood. That said this is still the best tracker I’ve encountered and I use it every day

Nice to have an outlet. For a long time I have felt very stressed and unwell and I had nowhere to go with it. I found this app through a featured section and liked the journal idea. I’ve tried physical journals but it was always a deterrent to have to pick up a journal and write paragraph after paragraph. Since the app is all digital I can pick up my phone at any time and write about my day in just a few minutes. It’s nice to also have the ability to view the data of what may be causing certain things. If you are looking for an outlet and haven’t found anything else that suites you I would definitely check this app out.

Wonderful Simplicity. Here’s a great single-purchase mood tracker with simple navigation and interface. If it’s missing one thing, it’s the option to share real-time data with a therapist or other. However, the export to PDF feature is equally effective and is generated with colorful delight. And oh yea, the notifications are customizable, so you can be notified randomly throughout the day

Can’t wait to see results!. I saw a preview for this on Reddit, and I downloaded immediately. I’ve been using it to track my moods the last couple weeks, and I think it’s really going to help me map out and journal my mental well-being. Excited to see how things look in a few months!

Great journal app for your moods. This app offers a really quick and easy way to catalog your moods throughout the day. It also has a really nice analysis page to break down your journal entries. I’ve been a long time pro subscriber of another journaling app, which is great, but with Moodistory I can easily track my mood history. Will be using both apps from now on. I’m very happy with this app so far.

Lovely, Simple Mood Tracker. I love the simplicity of this app. The design and user experience is minimalist yet colorful and fun. It’s nice how you can customize the colors to your liking. The mood tracking experience is incredibly simple and easy to use. It offers many options for factors that could be affecting your mood. I’ve been using Daylio for over a year and I loved it, but I found it to be a little more clunky. The interface of Moodistory is a lot better, in my opinion. The other thing that this app has over Daylio is an apple watch app. I really need an apple watch app because I want to be able to record moods and events without having to use my phone. This is a big win. The only improvement I would love to see is the ability to export a chart or graph of mood history just like you can in Daylio. Overall, I’m loving this app so far!

Amazing at what it’s for. This app does an amazing job helping you keep track of general mood and events in your life. I love the ability to look back and see how my mood trends depending on work, relationships, seasons, or activities I’ve been doing. Really shows a direct correlation sometimes and makes you take something things with more mindfulness cause you’re stopping to actually log that the walk in the walk was very nice. The UI is extremely satisfying and pleasant to use. I’d say after a week you can maneuver like a pro. There are many Apple Watch options as well with reminders that means you never really have to ever open your phone to make a good entry. It’s seems to grow and develop as an app. Hundreds of ways to filter your results and narrow down some of the outlier events. Can even be used as a goal tracker. “How many times did I meditate this month. Oh I meditate 26 times and the days I did I can a noticeable mood change.” Very beneficial app that takes little to no storage.

This app is a life saver. I’ve been using this app for over two years now. It’s been essential in helping me track my mental health as well as identify what’s working and what’s not working in my life. Working out? Super happy results! No date nights with the husband and away from the kids? Here’s data! For real, I cannot recommend this app more. I’ve used it every single day. It’s made me a better me.

Worth the money. Very nice app, overall great experience. Does exactly what I need it to do with little bloat. One thing about the app that I don’t like is on the entry edit screen, right before saving, the fields only fill up about 80% of the screen width. This feels weird, especially when you’re typing in the box. If this was changed, I would give the app 5 stars in a heartbeat.

Excellent app. Excellent app with constant updates and responsive developer. Will an iPad version be added at some point?

Everything I was looking for!. Watch app for quick and easy entries? Yes! Fully customisable event lists and categories? Yes! Fun and easy to use? Yes! I’ve tried more than 10 mood / journal apps, but they’ve all lacked one thing or another for me. This app has everything I was looking for and then some. I highly recommend it. It’s a hidden gem and I hope more people discover it! Well done to the team that created it, this one’s a life changer.

Wonderful way to check in on the ‘internal weather’. I’m currently training to be a counsellor and wanted to better understand my own ups and downs. This app is an amazingly useful tool that helps you to tag what you feel, when you feel it and what you were doing at the time. Even better, it helps you look back across that info and really easily see the patterns and the things that help, and the things that hinder you. Highly recommend it.

Great app!. Helps me track my mental health and also what improves or negatively impacts my mental health. Really awesome!

Amazing App!. I spent hours looking through various app and stumbled across this one after looking for ages. Was blown away by the app, it is only has a once off payment unlike other apps that have dumb subscriptions. Was super impressed by the user friendly UI. Well done!!!

Great simple app. Does what it sets out to do elegantly and without fuss. Great low friction mood tracking on Apple Watch. Good export options.

Lacking. It’s simple and pretty decent but lacks the ability to track any other moods than a general happiness scale.

I wish I could address the maker directly. The font in many parts of this app is microscopic. Even if I had the same level of visual clarity I did twenty years ago, it is incredibly hard to read. The gaudy colours, and the lack of variety in colour schemes, does not help. The app has a great purpose and could help me a lot. But please, please, PLEASE, Christoph. Give us the ability to adjust all font sizes and give us unlimited options with colour. Like every other app.

Great. Good to stay grounded I use it like a diary and the feature to be able to visualise my mood on a calendar is really important. Definitely can improve in the ‘activities’ feature but all good

simple in a good way. no fancy things, no distractions, just one two done and moving on. we need more of this kind of design for apps.

Richly featured free app.. Just got this yesterday but is technically and visually exactly what I wanted in a mood tracking app so far!

Excellent. Great mood tracking app. Waiting for more integrations!

Meh. The app itself is fine. But there are no things to tap that are negative- argument, frustrated etc. there’s no bad activities either. Needs work I think to best outline a day.

highly recommend !. this app changed my life in a huge way! the ability to look back on how I've felt over the last few years (haven't missed a day) is super valuable in understanding how my mood works and what makes me happy. Knowing that I can share my thoughts with my future self kind of takes the edge off difficult experiences. The app is very functional. Big respect to the creators of this app. Thanks.

Highly recommend. This app changed my life. It’s been a hugely valuable resource; before using it, I’d never been able to look back on my emotions + headspace with an objective lens. It’s an incredible app, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Thanks to the creators 🙏

From a mental-health-majored graduate student. I’m a graduate student who studies the underpinnings and treatments of mental health problems and also someone who suffers from mild depression and anxiety. After using several apps to manage my mental health including gratitude journaling and AI chatbots, I came across this app and decided to give it a try. Since downloading two months ago and having using it consistently every day, I have found tremendous benefits in understanding my mood patterns. The app is incredibly simple and fun to engage in. I track my mood whenever emotions arise, and I’m now much more acquainted with my triggers and activities that relax me. The day by day month by month view also allows me to connect the dots and avoid planning activities that could stress me out during the work week. I cannot praise the developers of this app more. It’s truly life changing.

Immediately Better Than Other Apps. This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I find that mood tracking and journaling are so beneficial for my ADHD, and this app takes that concept and wraps it up nicely. Free version is beautiful and simple - premium version offers more customization and features. I’m so glad I found it!

Bonne app. Lapp est super bien faite je l’adore et pas besoin de payer pour avoir des fonctionnalités cool :)

Very much worth it. Might seem a bit pricey when there are free alternatives, but that money investment gave me a reason to start the habit of tracking my mood. Very slick interface, easy to learn and keep up with. Putting in your mood never feels like a chore- it's less like mood log homework and more like something you do every night like brushing your teeth or having a shower. Most importantly, it is extremely customizable and allows you to figure out what works for you. I highly recommend sticking to mood scales without a "neutral" option, as it forces you to think deep into if you're feeling positive or negative when you're just having a "meh" day.

LOVE this app!. It has helped me tremendously in tracking my moods including details like what type of events are most associated with a certain mood. I like that you can choose from pre-made color options or you can make your own. Highly recommended!!

Avis. Cela m’aide beaucoup a dire mes sentiments

Look before you leap. With all the apps going crazy with reoccurring payments etc, I was happy to see one that had a 1 time price, and I really need an app to help track my moods as I’m dealing with severe depression. One I got the app, it was a bit frustrating as it will wrestle control from you to walk through the app, I let it do that for a bit, but it gets annoying when your trying to go through and familiarize yourself. Then decided to log a mood. It gets confusing here too as it has 6 level system here that is pretty generic and it would be a lot more helpful to me to be very specific here. I decided to go with it. Then you are presented with a TON of categories and events, plus for me, it’s too small and hard to see with its white font. It’s great it had a lot of options here, but I don’t think these events are well thought out. Things like diamond or finding. I have no idea what finding means, and really, how is getting a diamond gunna be anything but good. In the end I found most of irrelevant. You can edit these categories and events, which is great, bit for me it would need significant editing, an almost re-write. Maybe I got lost in the categories but I couldn’t even find a category to list whether I had a good or bad sleep. While it may sound I’m completely negative on this app, I’m not. It’s just for me. I don’t believe it’s written with mental health issues in mind, which is why I found much of not useful to me. I believe, though, that if you aren’t dealing with significant mental issues and just trying to find a trend in what In your ‘off’ days, then I could see this being very helpful in that use case. If you’re getting a lot of ‘diamonds’, you probably won’t need a mood tracker. I also applaud the author in sticking with a one time fee. As it really can’t that helpful in what I need a mood tracker for, I’ll be requesting a refund, I do see it useful for others.

Love it. I actually love this app. It’s simple and easy to use, and the reminders on my watch help me remember to do a quick entry to track my mood. It’s very helpful and great for on the go during a busy life!

Grrrreat!. Elegant, simple, powerful and fun! This kind of app is only as good as your adherence to it, and this one makes it easy. Quite probably the best mood/journaling app out there.

Great for ADHD!. Fantastic app!! Easy way to gamify tasks - recommending it to all the ADHD ppl I know

Simple and engaging. I’ve only used Moodistory for a few days but already I’m wishing I’d had it for my last year of counselling sessions.

Worth the money. This app is absolutely with the price. It is really well designed, great features, and the developer is very responsive. This is the first mood app I have consistently used. Extremely happy with it

Love it so far (3 days). Got it because of the Apple Watch integration. Are there plans to add event selection to an Apple Watch entry? I’d just like to add my vote for that feature please

Cute app. Tracks moods just like it claims. Cute app. I’m looking forward to seeing my moods graphed

Consistent use helps. I like that the app and my watch talk. That helps me to be a bit more consistent. And seeing patterns over time has been very useful to both me and my therapist. I wish the watch app were a bit easier to use. I find it tough to add events, meaning I often don’t and then forget what was underlying the mood. I also wish I could sync with my tablet. That would really help me stay on top of it. Overall though, I use the app daily and will continue to do so. It’s helping me understand my triggers and patterns very effectively.

Yes buy it. Totally worth the money.

I like it. But it needs more. I’ve been really liking the App so far. I’ve had it for almost 2 months. I just wish it had custom options to add your own sections to track other things, other than mood and daily activities. With the subscriptions you can create PDFs of everything which I like. It helps to make it easily visible to share with my doctor.

It’s ok. Very easy and quick interface. It would be really great if instead of only being able to see mood in the calendar view I could pick an event and see how many days that event occurred - would help with tracking good and bad habits.

Great app :). I use this for pain mgmt tracking

Great App. Love this app and all its features

more than one picture ?. i really love this app and i use it everyday but i would love it even more if i could put more than one picture to show and remember what i did during the day !! thank you for considering it i would really appreciate it !! ☺️

Reminders seem to be buggy. Overall pretty good but the reminders suddenly became inconsistent and buggy. I get them sometimes, but often I don’t. They used to be reliable so I imagine this is only a bug.

Great App So Far. I was honestly a little sceptical at first to purchase this app but it’s been really great so far! It makes it super simple to track my mood throughout the day and I really enjoy the statistics feature. Keep up the great work devs!

Best emotion tracker. I’ve been using Moodistory for about almost a year. I personally love this app because it doesn’t have a neutral option (unless you want one). As someone with a mental illness this app is the best back in November I was in a really bad spot and needed a medication change. I don’t think I would of actually changed it unless I saw the actual data. Also I love all the colours they’re super vibrant and customizable as someone who loves pink there is so many options. Also you can create your own categories so if you have a daily routine like me you can just make a daily routine category all in all this app is amazing and FREE I think I can’t remember but if it did cost some thing it was worth every penny! 10/10 recommend

Great App. I have used Moodistory for almost three years now. It has been a helpful yet simple tool in my therapy process

Some features you have to pay for but great app overall <3. I have just enjoyed using it, it’s intuitive and I love that I can add pictures too

The first mood tracker I’ve managed to keep using!. I have severe adhd and have always struggled to use mood trackers or journal apps, but I’ve been consistent in tracking my mood for over a month now every day.

Upgrading your iPhone will break the app.. Upgrading your iPhone will break the app, and you will lose all data.

Great App. Simple and does what’s needed perfectly, recording your mood and some notes for the day.

Not working on watchOS 7. Doesn’t let me save an entry -perhaps a bug when Apple removed force touch support. Great idea though, will adjust rating when watch app is fixed

Easy to use. Very easy and streamlined, just wished there were more options/activities to tag days with

Amazing app. I found this app a couple days ago through a reddit post on dataiscool. Needless to say i love this app. It looks very nice and clean, is easy to use, and very helpful for keeping track of my mental health.

Great app. Never left a review before but i like this app. It does everything i want it to in the free version. Props to the devs

Something I’ll actually use.. I’ve been putting off journaling or mood tracking because I know it’s hard for me to stick with things. With the random reminders and the slickness of this app I’m sure I’ll be making my entries.

Awesome. Really great journaling experience with awesome data presentation

I will die for this app. I have some things I do in a bullet journal but it's always a balance of what to track digitally vs. On paper. I'm so happy to have this app and see all my stats. Just perfect

Great simple app. Easy to use which is exactly what I wanted. Lots of accessibility options

The best mood tracker out there.. I’ve tried quite a few mood trackers, and inevitably fell out of the habit because they didn’t do much in the way of analyzing trends. This one has awesome statistics, and I love that I can export PDFs to attach to my regular journal.

Useful tracker app. Stable, simple, optimal. *Dev Tip: a web version would be highly appreciated.

Simple, nice. Honestly it’s a chill way to think about how you’re feeling. Could use more categories and elastic search for finding them, but you can make you’re own so it’s all good. Highly recommend

Great for people with Bipolar!. I’d like to preface this by saying that I’m Bipolar and, even though I’m medicated, I am prone to mood swings. Part of managing my condition involves keeping track of my moods and how they trend. Increased positive moods may indicate that I’m slipping into a Manic phase while decreased moods might indicate me slipping into depression. I tried several apps before, but I found it hard to keep up with them. I’d get really excited at first, but then eventually forget to check in or lose motivation to continue using it. Even though I’d set reminders, I’d often ignore them entirely, with opening my phone and scrolling through the app feeling like an insurmountable struggle during my bad days. Then I found Moodistory. It’s simple, and clean, akin to the more well-known mood tracking app Daylio. You have your mood scale, and can attach different events, and notes in order to help you keep track of your moods. Most Mood tracking apps have some variation of these features. What they don’t have however is Apple Watch support. Seems mundane enough, but this feature has been a HUGE help. Instead of having to pull my phone out in order to report my moods/mental state, I can simply tap on my watch, then pick my mood and any related events. I almost always have my watch on me, so I can even report my moods when shopping or at work. It’s simple, and I love it so much. Right now, I’ve been able to keep up with my mood for almost two months. Thanks to Moodistory I’ve become better at tracking my mood swings which has made it easier to manage them. My only real negative is the small number of icons for events, but being able to use the default apple emojis as icons has helped remedy that problem somewhat. Other than that, the app is incredible and deserves to be far more popular. You can really tell that the developer is passionate about working on it.

So simple it is perfect!. It is simple and easy to use!

Used daily for years. Adore this simple, no frills app.

Flexible. As little or as much detail as you’d like. Reliable. Appreciate being able to personalize the color pallet, events (though I don’t use them much, and easy notes. Easy to skip all that too, which is great.

An excellent tool for journaling and mood tracking! ^_^. I've been using this app for a couple years now and it's the best one out there I've found for the value!

Amazing. I like it a lot. Creation of entries is very intuitive and fun. It also gives a lot of perspective to how you are.

Disappointing. I was hoping for more from this app. Over the week I’ve used it, it’s 100% reliant on manual input and does not use data from Apple Watch at all. When I’m in a good or bad mood the last thing I want to do is input it into an app. Hopefully future updates are intelligent.

Amazing App. Would love to see in the future a way to connect to Apple Health

Sigh. I really liked this app but my entries sometimes disappear.. I know I logged every day in June and now there’s over 5 missing slots! :(

Fun to track. I’ve only been using it a few days but it’s so quick and easy! Excited to see some trends

Love it!. I’ve used it for almost 2 years and it’s cool to see the data in hindsight.

Apple Health Integration Options?. This app is great but doesn’t provide any way to sync its data with Apple Health. I understand, don’t force the integration, but the option to do so would have kept it on my phone.

Great app!. It’s really helpful to keep track of your mood

Using for years. Using this app for years and I love being able to look back and see how season of life change!

Rad app!. Helps me keep track of how I’m doing and let’s me go back and see my progress.

Great app to journal in!. Such a great way to keep track of how you’re feeling & journal what’s going on!

Great. It would be nice if this had iPad compatibility, sometimes i find writing long paragraphs easier on a larger screen with a keyboard but otherwise pretty good

Latest update broke the app. The latest update that was pushed has completely broken the app and crashes on launch every single time now. I’ve rebooted the device and still crashes at launch and is completely useless now. I’m on the latest iOS 14.

Fantastic. Very amazing way to keep track of life and the mood swings that come with it

I love you, Moodhistory. Make it a widget and put it on your Home Screen. The developer is very responsive too.

Good app. I like data logging

Great App. Great app for tracking my moods. Nice to be able to specify place and activity.

Great. The reminders are not abrasive and the app itself is cool. Looking forward to using it and collecting data on my mood over time.

Great tool to track happiness. This is a simple yet effective way to gain perspective on your happiness.

Simple and effective. I love this app! I don’t do things daily and I don’t allow notifications on a lot of my apps but this app is something I look forward to and has done consistently everyday since last November. You can create your own events and it’s just fun to see the data.

Awsome 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. THE BEST APP I COULD USE!!!!! Like I can do a new draft and yeah like normal it asks but this app is like a GAME CHANGER I it like I could tell someone how I feel!!!!! THIS SHOULD HAVE A 5 STAR APP RATING!!!!!! BEST APP I COULD DOWNLOAD!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Invaluable App. After 2+ years of daily use, I’ve found this app to be helpful for both simple reflection as well as identifying patterns of thought and action that lead to positive and negative states. Interactions are simple and direct, reports are clear and actionable.

Data is beautiful. Love checking in each day to see trends in my mood.

Export to csv is crucial. If you’re like me and like to see the numbers, this is a great feature.

This would be amazing if I wasn’t colorblind.. This looks really cool, but I need a way to customize the colors beyond what it currently offers. If I could enter RGB codes instead of picking from a predefined palette, this would get five stars.

Simply good. It’s a nice app that’s simple to use and very useful to track trends in your mood. I recommend it

Great app. Great way to track my moods and get insight on things that help my day go better.

Worth the money. This app is definitely worth the $4.99 although I think the option to only be able to add 1 photo is a little disappointing because I take a lot of photos during the day

Great app!. I really enjoy this app! It is very intuitive and looks very nice and clean. The insights it provides are very interesting and have helped me learn a lot about my mood. I ran into a small bug and contacted support. They responded very quickly and were very kind and helpful!
