I am off the mainland in Puerto Rico planned an interim contest with my remaining token points. Keep getting an error. My 200+ points are now wasted.
The app does not track your spaces for prizes. Total waste of time.
My Grocery/Gas win did not link to my just for you app, who do I ask about this?
What fun! Spend years playing and never win anything. Next year I’ll watch paint dry which will get me more prizes than this waste of time
Scanner works on Game Markers (2-D barcode) - great help. Very poor on the 16 digit code - of the 37 tickets - only 4 scanned in. Rest was keyboard entered. The mobile device is an iPad - Did good on handling the Game Markers.
Both the developer and Safeway should be ashamed of this app. Does not work consistently. It is a negative reflection on the Safeway brand
Worked ok until the last update. Now I cannot login
I downloaded the app, entering all my information... My Safeway card number and all information required, the last piece of information is local store, and it is required to activate the account, and doesn’t work.. I tried three times.
This app is a joke. Just for u is a racket and should be reported to BBB. Will shop elsewhere!
Crap - won’t log in.
I have 4g if that matters but my app never works!!! I never get to spend my tokens or never see I even win or loose on some of my codes!
I loved the app until three days before the cutoff. I’ve had nothing but server lag, server crashes and now it can’t even log me in three hours till the contest ends. I cannot apply my credits.
Waste of time. Persistent login or navigation errors. Error messages such as ‘try again later’ renders the app useless and an utter waste of time just trying to enter the monopoly pieces. The developer should be embarrassed.
It's sort of a minor punishment to have piles of these tickets to scan, knowing there's virtually no chance of winning anything except two hundred free Shutterfly photo books. But that's not a complaint about the app. The app is (or was) fine for its purpose. My real issue with it was that it won't keep scanning. The developers know that people are going to want to scan ten or twenty tickets in a row, so why make the users tap two or three times to scan each and every ticket? Just add a continuous scan feature. But the real annoyance now is that the new "improved" version requires that I register an account just to scan these silly tickets. That's one step too far, Safeway.
This app is terrible! It never works! I keep having to close the app out, and sign back in then it lets me do one or two things then freezes up again. I have 461 tokens still left and I can’t even log in and there is only 3 hours left to enter your tokens!!!
Now I cannot get it to load and when it does will not scan my tickets and will not do the slot game. When it did work I won 10 extra tickets three different times and they stored on my Safeway app but upon checkouts they never showed up to redeem. Had to open up my history to show the clerk to get them. If they are using a vendor to create and manage this site then it’s time for a new vendor. If it’s an actual employee or department managing it then new leadership is needed. This looks bad to customers.
Was working well and then sometime within the past week it just started freezing and now I can’t scan my pieces.
If I could leave less than one star I would! A colossal waste of time. The game lasts for months because the app doesn’t work, or works so sporadically that you can only enter a few codes or track markers at a time before it stops working. All sorts of errors and spinning icons. As you scan the game codes and earn tokens it’s pretty exciting to watch your tokens add up. You can play the tokens to enter sweepstakes. But there will be error after error after spinning icon and “unable to process your request at this time.” Go ahead and turn your phone off and on, update your software and update the app itself. Makes NO difference. I love the idea of it but if it doesn’t work then fix it or just stop trying!
I have loved this app until yesterday. Whenever I try to scan pieces or do anything on the app I get an error message. When I exit the app, sometimes it logs me out and try to sign back in I get an error message, “Your request couldn’t be processed at this time.” Other times I will be able to get in, just not do anything without getting a similar error message. I was hoping that this bug would be fixed today, but it still isn’t working. The clock is ticking because the game ends next week. I love the app because it keeps track of all of the pieces easily and I hope that it is fixed soon!
App glitches along with the website login keeps popping up msgs such as we’ve encountered a temporary error and could not sign you in. Please try again. If the problem persists contact customer support. I don’t know if this has to do with it being close to the deadline to spend tokens or what but it seems like a scam. Get you to spend money however suddenly you’re unable to spend the tokens you’ve scanned.
