If you’re trying to cancel, try your PayPal acct if you used it to register.. I had a heck of a time trying to cancel this subscription after the free trial. This app is tied to my Apple ID because I used my phone to sign up, but it did not show up on my Apple subscriptions (not under Pixomatic or Conceptiv Apps) and I was getting charged monthly. I tried to sign in and cancel on the app, but it kept saying I didn’t have an account. I called Apple and they couldn’t find it either. I signed into my PayPal account and it gave me the option to cancel recurring payments. Phew! 😓

This app sucked. This is my first review on anything and I had to say something because this app is AWFUL. You literally couldn’t do anything because you would click on a tool and it would be like “PAY $30 A MONTH!” I don’t want to do that!! Just let me just change the background on my dang photo just ONCE to send to a friend without having to sign up for a subscription! There are plenty of other good apps out there for free with the same purpose. I recommend you keep looking and don’t just download the first one you see :(

Great app!. We use this for editing product photos fast. And it’s awesome! We do HATE that our imported images now have a background layer, meaning we can’t see what we’re cropping when we crop to a square. Who asked for that change? Now I have to guess and redo it multiple times to get it right. Just crop all the layers at once, or give us the option to. It definitely slows our process down considerably.

Great customer service. We have a small record company and love using this app for our online marketing! Recently we were creating content for print and needed an image larger than a phone image but still wanted to use the design we created on this app. I couldn’t find the font name anywhere and emailed their customer support. They promptly email back with the answer I was looking for!

Not user friendly. I am canceling bc not one thing worked at all on your app. All I wanted to do was remove sunglasses on top of my head but it would not work it just kept sending you around to other things to other options. Definitely don’t waste your money. I canceled after 2 minutes.

Hmmm 🤔. I don’t know, add a one time price option to let people purchase the app so I don’t know how much is going to be, just give a fair price to make profits and when updated just add items or effects for purchasing because you’ll find people that want to purchase the app, to subscribe for 1 year and to subscribe for 1 month and can cancel the subscription. I am just telling the truth so take my advice into consideration so if it doesn’t work for you just remove the buy out option for the app. Thanks

DONT DOWNLOAD. If you’re trying to use this app because of its free trial features, DONT! Once you decide you’re done with the app, they make it next to impossible to cancel your subscription, leaving you with a monthly bill of 8 dollars that is unauthorized! I’ve gone through the app, app store and even the website to make sure it’s not error on my end but each one said im not subcribed , yet i woke up to an authorized charge to my account . FIX THIS! and i want my money back . On top of that, they keep responding with go into your apple id , did that! the subscription isn’t there for me to cancel which so many other people have been saying ! it’s a SCAM.

Ehhh. I love the app it’s actually a great tool to have. I tried this on a free trial. Of course when I went to end the trial there was no way to. It didn’t show up in my subscriptions in my settings, there was no way to do it in the app. So I got charged for it. That’s why I have it 2 stars outside of charging me for something I’m never going to use outside of the one time I needed it; it’s a great product for people who WILL use it.

Not great for me, but probably ok for most. It didn’t help with what I wanted to do. Remove branches from in front of a building — there is no fast way to do it. I had to use clone and paint. No magic brush to do this feature. I have a program that does this. I would have kept it, but there was no instant gratification learning curve with it. Cancelling this program is a pain. I am having to jump through hoops to cancel something I used for one hour and quickly realized it is not the program for me.

Rip off Don’t use!!!. I have tried numerous times to cancel this free trial. I always get response that I have no subscription yet for the past 5 months I have been charged 7.99. Even today I have a pending debt charge for this app. I want a complete refund and for my information to be taken off your billing. Feels like your app is scamming people out of money. I did the trail only used app once then followed instructions to cancel. I didn't notice I had been charged until April. Tried reaching out to support then. No response. Saw I was charged yet again. Went back through steps to cancel yet says I don't have a subscription. Today I saw another debit from you again. I want a response says I don't have any subscriptions or purchases but yet I keep getting debited.

Love this app. I have this on my phone, but for a long time when I would try to put on my new iPad , it told me it wasn’t available . I’m so glad it is downloading right now , love it.. worth the money on this one peeps, and I hate purchasing apps when there are so many free ones. After using this one for a long time now , I have no problem paying for this one.. can’t say enough what a great app this is.

Misleading signup. When you start this app there is not a true trial version. Instead you have the option to “try and subscribe”, and if you read all the small details what that means is that for 3 days you get to try the app and then *automatically* you get subscribed to a $30/year plan. And they say “you can cancel anytime” but by that they mean that you can cancel the *renewal* anytime, in the meantime $30 were stolen from your account and there’s nothing you can do about it. This is what I call a true scam, regardless of how well the app works.

Love - Love - Love. I can’t possibly rave about an app more than this one. I’ve tried so many photo editing apps that do not deliver...this isn’t one of them. This is by far the best ever! Yes, there is a yearly fe for the pro version, but it is reasonable when you get what they are offering. I am so so happy that I found Pixomatic...try it...you won’t be disappointed!

Shuts Down. I really have enjoyed this app but while trying to create a team banner, even with saving as I go, the app continues to shut down and isn’t saving my work. It’s the most frustrating thing. I did the same work more times than I could count due to unexpected closure of the app. For the $30 I paid, the app should be able to stay open and save the work I’ve done. I also wish there was an easy method for grouping and ungrouping multiple images.

Great app and great customer service. I don’t know what other similar apps can be used this easily for collage but Pixomatic has been stellar. The only shortcoming may be just a setting I missed seeing but having a high res export of my cuts would be helpful, as I would like to use cuts for an analog collage and my printer says I need at least 400 dpi to enlarge the pictures. I had an issue with this last update to 2.0 and it wouldn’t acknowledge my subscription but props to Natallia at ConceptivApps for helping me out. I think it was not their issue but the App Store not showing that I needed an extra update. If you’re concerned about the monthly fee, try it and do the annual subscription instead. It’s more economical.

Don’t do it. I’m a teacher and I’ve been teaching hybrid this year. Because it’s all virtual I needed some PNG files so my kids could use math manipulatives so I used the website to create PNG files but you need to get the subscription. I decided to do the free trial and planned to cancel because I’m a teacher and can’t afford subscriptions. I went to cancel my free trial and it’s impossible. I did it on the website and there is no where to cancel on the website. I downloaded the app and it says I have no subscription. I sent an email to contact someone and they said they are developers and can not cancel any subscription that I have to do it but there literally is no where to cancel the free trial. These people are just stealing money by making it impossible to cancel the free trial. So just don’t do it!

Disappointing. I used the app to edit a few photos and tried to upload other photos to edit and it’s no longer giving me an option to add photos from my library. I assumed that I had too many photos stored but cannot find a library on the app or any way to delete the photos. I tried looking through the tutorial and google but there’s no assistance. This is a shame because I sell clothing online and would have continued to subscribe after my week trial but I guess it’s good I experienced this issue before I paid for it.

Best cutting app ever!. I have searched for about 3 years to find a good automatic and somewhat manual cutting app and I finally found it! It is so worth buying the subscription if you use it daily or weekly. I personally use it to put a white background behind my items that I’m selling. If your looking for an extremely easy but also extremely precise app, this is absolutely perfect!

Very displeased. I downloaded this app and tried it out for a short time and realized it was not the app I was looking for. However the app does work great for backgrounds but the customer service is why I’m rating a 1 star. After deleting and unsubscribing I am STILL being charged. I sent emails and have been getting the run around and then they stopped emailing all together. For this reason alone I would recommend to use a different app for editing so you don’t have to deal with what I’m dealing with.

Best photo app ever!. I love this app because it has so many unique tools and effects to really bring out the photo. You can get really creative, and it’s also really fun to try different things to make your photos look nice. But the only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the things you can use require a subscription, which is a lot of money, maybe around 30 dollars for a year. But I feel like other apps don’t have anything like this app has, so if you’re really creative and like editing photos, I strongly suggest this app.

PLEASE make a square tool option!. How come there is no square shape tool option? I absolutely love this app and have had it for a few years. I use it all the time for so many things. But this irks me to no end! Pixomatic does realize not everything in life is round and has round edges right? It would be soooo much easier and less time consuming if we had a square option. It would be less frustrating as well. We only have a round eraser, the drawing brushes are round, we also have a round clone tool, even the heal tool is round. This is my only gripe with Pixomatic. Otherwise it's one of the best art app out there. Add the square option and it'll be hands down the BEST art app in the history of the art app universe!

Fantastic app! However. The fact that everyone believes they’re entitled to subscription prices is just ridiculous. I’d pay outright for this at $60 for unlimited access, but there’s no way I’m paying $30 annually. The app itself is amazing and does a lot of great stuff, but again, I’m sick of everything requiring a subscription, you aren’t Netflix, so please give an option to buy outright.

Too much $. You can buy Adobe Photoshop for a one time price and do everything that this app does and more. So I agree with a lot of the other reviews that this app has outlived its usefulness unless they give it a one time price. Paying month to month also doesn’t give me any guarantee that the app and its developers are not going to just close their doors and leave me hanging. I would rather pay in the vicinity of $30-$40 for full use of this application. I think the monthly prescription is going to put this developer out of business. Deleting

I love this app but.... This app is a great alternative to photoshop for those of us that can not afford it. However, even though I pay 3.99 a month, it is no longer letting me use the premium tools. It pops up with a page telling me to get a subscription even though mine is still active. I don’t know if this is just a bug or if they really are asking for more money, but it needs to be solved quickly before I give my business to another app.

Greed. My free version disappeared and now it’s $30/yr. not even a one time fee. Just yanked your free app and tells you you have to upgrade to premium monthly if you want to use the app. I never had premium. To be honest the app isn’t that great. It was nice for a free non premium but to pay for that low end photo editor and and make it a monthly fee? Haha don’t waste your time and money. They will just increase your subscription premium within 3 months. There much better photo editors for subscription at that price

Easy to use!. This app is sooooo easy to use! I really love it💗 I’ve been able to easily make super cute insta stories. But let me tell u I am cheap so I will only be using this for the trial and loving it but I also don’t use insta stories enough that $30 a year is worth it. For me. But if u use insta stories and or need easy ways to edit photos. Highly recommended! ☺️

Can’t Zoom Anymore. I’m not sure what’s going on. This is a great app, and up until today worked perfectly. But today I go to edit a picture and find you can no longer select the “empty” background layer when you’re refining. This was the only way to zoom in and see what you’re doing up close for fine work. Is this an update or a glitch? It’s giving me an error message about “this layer only supports crop action”.

I used to love this app. I use this app all the time for editing photos and making posters. I have been subscribed to the pro feature for at least a year now and i pay monthly. I tried to use the app today and it keeps telling me to subscribe to the pro ft. My current pro feature expires on June 6 . It keeps popping up every time I try to edit . I’m frustrated and I cannot complete my work

Great App. I’ve really had a lot of fun editing all my old photos the last couple of months. During that time I’ve downloaded a good 15 or 20 photo apps. Pixomatic is one of the best. I just love the layout and all of the functionality. So much of the functionality in these apps do overlap and you can find a lot of other apps to do the same thing but I really enjoy their layering system. My only complaint… And the reason I won’t buy, is because they only have a subscribe price. Many of the other photo apps with the same functionality offer a subscription model or a one time price that’s usually in the $70-$80 price range. I would be willing to pay that but I’ll never jump in the subscribe model, because for me personally… I’ve nearly reached the end of my photo stack and won’t be editing nearly as much in the future so if I subscribe I’ll be paying money for nothing except the one or two photos a year I’ll find I need to edit. With a one time price… I know my wife can pull out a box of photos she finds five years from now and I can say… No worries honey! Let me fix these for you! All this to say pixomatic is superb, I hope they consider a one time purchase price in the future, and if you are someone who edits a lot and plans to edit a lot in the future, the current subscribe price is fair and you should go for it. At the very least use the free version because it does give you a lot of functionality. 5 srars.

Pixomatic Review. I’ve been using this app for a while now, and have created a lot of cool things with my images with this app! However, I am trying to draw on a sketch I created with the tools on here but I keep getting kicked out and losing the work I’ve done. Who can I reach to assist me with this problem/bug in the app? I pay every month to use it, so I should be able to utilize everything here. Please let me know who can assist me asap, or I will have to delete and unsubscribe. Thank you!

Love it but some GLITCHES need looked at!. Great app and love using it for making fun or beautiful pictures since we all take normal day to day pictures. This way you can make them perfect for hanging on the wall without breaking the bank. 😌 However, trying to make a memorial picture for my friend who just lost her mom a couple of days ago.. and the app keeps closing on me making me start my editing over again. Could you pls look into this in case it’s not just my iPad doing it. TIA

Kinda upset. It slightly changes the filter on photos which is really frustrating me, why does it change the filter on my picture automatically??? I noticed because I’m making a meme, so I compared an edited frame next to an unedited frame and this app completely changed the color of the original version. I thought it was my video recording app at first that was changing the filter, but sure enough, I went back and re-did everything to find out it was this app. A specific section of the photo went from an orange-brown color to a cool brown, completely noticeable when put next to each other, I can’t even make my meme anymore and I spent $8 on this stupid app!

I want to love this. This seems like the beginning of a powerful editor, but it’s just not ready for daily use yet. To be fair, I’m coming from Photoshop and looking for the mobile equivalent, but this tool seems to be more about composing two images together than actual editing. Tool grouping is also confusing for a power user...for example why is there an Eraser under cut and another Eraser under Refine? Why isn’t there just a general purpose Eraser that works on both with the option to dial down the strength and turn on feathering? Tools are grouped by function; since I know which tool I want, this task based interface feels clunky. Also...why is there a shadow button at the root level? Are people really adding that many shadows that this option couldn’t be hidden in favor of other tools? Layers seem to be a selling point for this app, but I’m used to seeing eye icons next to my layers to show/hide, not tapping randomly on the background. I guess my biggest problem with this software is that they’ve avoided common design paradigms of design software (like the tool pane and instead arranging tools by tasks), and it makes my workflow slower than finding the nearest computer and firing up Photoshop.

Very Disappointed!. I have used this app to market for a Med Spa and have loved the pro features so far. When I got a new phone (with the same iCloud account!) the app would not let me restore my year long subscription that was very much still supposed to be active. I went ahead and repurchased it, because I really liked the app. So, this year I spent $60 on this app so far. Now my app is refusing to open, forcing me to redownload it and lose all of my current data. After I redownloaded, it is STILL refusing to restore my NEW subscription again. I will not pay for it again. Very disappointed and a huge waste of money. Don’t rely on this app for marketing your business!

Greed strikes once again. First off, I’ve had this app for several years and loved it. You *used* to be able to cut and layer images, and a whole array of other features for free. Now you can download the app for free but any functions within the app are for paid subscriptions only at 8 bucks a month. I cannot comment on how that goes since I refuse to pay for an app I use only once or twice a month. Nah. I’ll sadly delete this app. I’d much rather pay the 8 bucks once for the download. Too bad the developers aren’t listening to their customer base. Maybe a mass exodus will grab their attention.

Love it!. Honest reviewer here, your going to definitely want to go pro as soon as the trial is over, this app is easy to use and theres soooo many different styles and possibilities to edit photos or make your designs, tutorials were great and easy to follow. I especially love the magic cut option! Great job with this app and i definitely recommend this over the rest!

Key feature requires subscription. The marketing is misleading. The magic filter is surprisingly effective at removing a person from the background, but that’s a key feature missing until you pay and in the free version the background removal tool works very poor. This app also does that misleading trick where they make the gray close button exactly the same brightness as the orange background and you can barely tell that you can use the app without subscribing. So don’t bother unless you intend to pay. I don’t mind apps charging money, but I do mind when they are very misleading. For the money, you may as well use Photoshop.

FREE TRIAL? DOESN’T ALLOW TO CANCEL FTrial. I wanted to just try this app out, and only allows u to try it after locking ur payment info to use the after a week to be automatically charged the monthly fee. I tried it out, it’s ok but doesn’t offer me more than other app that I have for FREE. So, I want to cancel this subscription, as it’s been under a wk of my trial period, but there is NO WHERE TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION?? I would appreciate admin to CANCEL my subscription ASAP! And not keep me hostage to your app. Thank you. ☹️ And, can’t even send support an email to dispute this. Doesn’t allow to send messages?!! I have tried to cancel this subscription and cannot find anywhere on your app to cancel. I tried the app and offers me no benefits to warrant a subscription fee. It is less than my 1 wk trial and request to cancel ASAP! If a charge has been made, I will dispute this with my bank. Thank you.

This is a scam.. I’m not sure if my original 1 star review is still here, but this is a joke! I wrote my review about how impossible this was to cancel after emailing their support multiple times and getting no help but an automated response that gave me instructions that don’t work. I got a developer response to that review that told me how to contact support. Again. Which I did. Again. And have had no responses. There is no way for me to contact them so I’m trying again to leave a review that may get a real response. This is foolish. I am being charged for something that doesn’t allow me to cancel, and they are publicly IGNORING all these reviews that day the same thing. Developer, please respond with something better this time. Everyone who is leaving this same review is tired of being ripped off.

Simply Amaizing. I have used this app for the first time and it is so amazing. I completely removed the background of a photo with just one click. You also have the option of using it manually to remove the background l. With other apps you had to be using the brush to get it right. Bye bye to the hassle. Thanks for such an amazing app

Best photo editor!. I’ve been using photoshop express for a while, and it’s still kinda confusing. So i switched to Pixomatic, and I’m so mad i didn’t switch before; Pxomatic has an amazing background removal feature that works every time and the same if not better tools/options than photoshop! Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Taking all the fun away. I use this app quite a bit for entertainment purposes. Now I can’t do it for entertaining because they are asking for $10 a month. I don’t use it enough to even imagine paying for such a small photoshop that I do. Why do all these apps change and ask for so much money. $12 a year would be more affordable and would sell more. $39 should be lifetime. I will be looking for another app that does magic cut. Thanks for last few years. But I won’t and will never pay for photoshop on a phone.

PNG layers not working. Just a few days ago I could use a png image in a layer and have the transparency but now it shows white around my png file logo what happen? App is now useless to because I only used it to place my logo on my images for social media. UPDATE: I figured out what was wrong with the handling of my PNG files want Pixomatic fault it was my iPhone saving lower resolution images on my phone and saving the higher resolution images in the cloud. Some how iOS was converting the png files to jpegs somewhere in the process.

REALLY GREAT APP BUT……. This app has been great, I have been using the app to customize and create graphics for my clothing brand. However, there were two things that kept occurring when I save a image it’s cancels the save and I am no longer able to resume work on the image. Secondly, the app crashes everytime I try to bring it up even after I turn off my cell phone. I tried refreshing the app and unexpected crashing still occurs. This app is truly resourceful I just hope the minor bugs can be fixed.

Yikes. So when you first start editing they imply that the cut feature is free but it isn’t which is very scummy for them to do. But I really don’t exactly care but just put a symbol that says pro or something so I would know I mean they did it with some other features. So why not allow me to apply it but not allowing me to finish editing the photo so I can be able to test it with the other effects speaking of which. I don’t know if I’m missing something but I believe that the shadow effect cannot be used properly without the cut effect.

App keeps crashing!!. I was thinking of paying for the monthly subscription for this app, because it’s one of the only apps i’ve come across that are easy for editing and easy to navigate! My only problem (which prevents me from actually using the app) is that whenever i’m in the middle of editing an image, the app crashes and does not save my progress... Please please find a way to fix this issue!

Mine as well stick with photoshop. Used to love this app because it was a great tool to use when I was on the go rather than needing my computer. Now after it’s update, any of the options that are actual useful in clearing the background are required to be paid for. I understand an app needs to make money, I simply don’t appreciate the impression given that you have an option to subscribe if you’d like. There is no option, if you want to use the app at all for the function advertised, you have to subscribe to monthly payments. The “option” is you either use the app or you don’t. Think I’ll stick to photoshop. If I’ve I’ve got to pay for something, I’ll stick to the one that can actually provide more tools and means of control to edit the pictures anyway.

Won't work with large library. Love this app when it worked. After IO 16 it won't load my photo library. Have all the updates and still nothing. This happened once before with an update. Please fix and I will give you 6 stars for a review.

Love app but canceled subscription.. I cancelled my subscription so it wouldn’t auto renew but I’m going to purchase again whenever it does expire. I wish it would’ve given me that option when asking why I cancelled, lol because I love this app. It is elite to every other photo editing app I’ve ever used. Godly.

Loved it at first Hate it now. So I got this about a month ago , I absolutely loved it I work at a car dealer and I was able to use the magic cut feature which was great and I was able to go to our website and use that feature so that I can combine the cuts with different backgrounds for our social media pages and the app just got an update and it is really bad . When I go to use the photo I select the pic becomes blurry enough to where I can’t use it . And the save features are horrible now after the cuts they would go straight to my camera roll now I have to go through like 3 steps to just get to the pic . Horrible app now I want my money back

Operates half off screen.... Have contacted the team today after downloading. It has some great tools which are easy to figure out without much effort or fuss. The user face is great - HOWEVER - the entire app is glitched inside and centred to the left of screen on your workspace. The calibration is completely off so you can’t place things in the right place, and things save differently to how they appear in your projects. Your work space inside the app is partially off the page. Have deleted and reinstalled app etc without success, and contacted the team without response... Disappointing for a paid subscription app! Something which shouldn’t even be a problem.

So so. When setting up the app there’s regular encouragement to complete the tutorials. It soon becomes clear why. Not much is intuitive in the way it works. There a lots of these kind of apps. This one may be good but I didn’t need the complexity. I needed quick background removal. Cancelled subscription and hour after buying it. Others may do better.

Subscription service. This app was good so I purchased it when the icon used to be red, now it’s asking me to update and subscribe. If I hadn’t already paid the full price for the app the rating would have been different. Poor form

Haven’t used. I can’t stand apps that don’t just say before downloading that they have a subscription cost before signing up! Or display the subscription costs I’m the App Store. This is sneaky misinformation marketing. Now I’ve signed up and I don’t want this app and you have my details, so I’m going to be infiltrated with spam. How do I deleted my account!

You can do the same in free apps, IbisPaint X LOADS MORE I’m so sorry if this doesn’t suit you but I think this game is outrageous because if you’re really gonna waist money on the ‘premium’ It’d be better to use photoshop. Bad customer service. I had Pixomatic and paid for all of the extra (the icon was red) now that app is unavailable on iOS 14 which means I have wasted my money. The now version (purple icon) wants nearly $50 AUD per year to be able to even the simple tasks the old version did for free. Thanks for now Pixomatic

Automatic renewal scam. I was scammed into downloading this app to try and now been charged monthly automatically. I am very disappointed. DON’T download the app.

unauthorised charge. I signed up for the free trial and straight away got charged $23.87 not worth the one photo I wanted to try out. I hope my feedback shows in the review section so people know this isn’t fake accs making rubbish to upsell. I want a refund. Immediately

Cuts out/shuts down. In the middle of a edit then whole app shuts down and I have to start the whole project again.

Scam. I was charged $6.49 for this app, which was meant to be free with “in app purchases”. I did not make any in app purchases, nor did I agree to any purchases. I want my money returned as that is theft. It is a scam. I didn’t click on anything (even their sneaky pop ups for in app purchases, that they intentionally make difficult to exit out of) I was careful and didn’t click to purchase anything. I wanted to trial the basic free app, with no special or extra features and I ended up getting charged for features I never bought or tried to access. This app is scamming users.

Rubbish. Wanted to try this app free version kept trying to get me to pay for full version I wasn’t even able to cut out one photo. Easterly 20 minutes of my life on this rubbish.

I bought this app outright. Why do I have to pay for the subscription when I bought this outright on 2017. This is very unfair.

Works well but unable to cancel subscription. I like the app and it did what I needed to do well but now I can’t unsubscribe. All of the advice in the app about how to unsubscribe is useless as it doesn’t appear as a subscription on my iPhone. So beware the lurker auto-renew that you just can’t stop because you can’t see it!

Free version non existent. Once upon a time when this app was cool, you could access the free version and do some really great stuff. I’m not opposed to paying for an app but the annual cost is too high for a casual user. If there isn’t a free version, state it clearly. Maybe the developers can consider a lite version for people who don’t want the extra backgrounds and literally just want to splice two images together. A one off payment for the app with the option to upgrade if users need / want to. You get 2 stars based on sheer frustration of trying to work out the apps pricing model.

Purchase expensive. Should $8 per month

Subscription fee ruins the experience. This is a decent editor provided you pay the stupidly high subscription fee, otherwise it’s completely useless and and tedious. It’s almost as if it’s programmed to force errors if you aren’t paying.

Kind of good. This app is mainly good but there are some thing bad about it for example I would recommend that more things need to be free on there and if I could save the photos without paying I think more people would like it , but overall this app is good and I think u should buy it.

Functionality lost to subscription pricing. The old version of Pixomatic gave you functionality for free. The new version is another in the latest subscription style of bleeding people each month for life, where by then you could’ve bought a full featured photo editor. How are kids meant to make do with such a ludicrous pricing schem to actually get any functionality out of the current app. Poor form indeed.

To expensive. The app might be good but I don’t like apps with ongoing costs. If I was a professional photography I might pay for a top app but it would probably be for my computer and not my iPad. Glitchy features like “CUT” (and auto paid for the year 👎 without consent.. Am a developer and create content often and on the go on my ipad, After not wanting to pay and starting a free trail they automatically charged me for a year.. (horrible practice you guys are selfish and greedy i hate your app just off the bat) Then, since i paid i might as well use it, unfortunately it has the right features but THEY HALF THE TIME GLITCH OUT. Like the most important the ‘CUT’ feature leaves small pixels and uncut portions so when you save good copy (always has pixels in places it’s suppose to be cut transparent) And even editing this YOU CANNNTTTT. It fully doesn’t let u edit out the small unedited pixels. I thought this was a 1 time thing, nope it is often and now I WILL NEVER begin my serious projects on this garbage app, hours of edits for pointless small glitches to make your work unusable unprintable. Waste of money and my time, horrible app. I will be going back to photoshop because even tho it is more complex and has a larger learning curve IT DOES NOT GLITCH ON NESCESSARY edits, especially not after making you pay for a year upfront 😒. Great app but updates create glitches. I love this app and am a paying pro user. Only one star because the updates they push have twice created annoying glitches that affect aspects of the app I rely on. I have reported and had good communication but the fixes never come. Updates are nice but not if they ruin your core product. Test them better people. I’m off to look for another app to use instead. Reluctantly.

By far the best photo editing app. I just downloaded this because I wanted to try something different. I didn’t know how much I would actually love this app, like you can save edits, so you never lose them, and the app crashed on me twice, AND MY PROJECTS WERE OKAY! Does have some bugs but overall I love this app

Unable to unsubscribe and got billed after the free trial. Terrible app. Not user friendly very difficult to use. Tried the free 7 day trial and have been trying to unsubscribe for a day or so and was billed before the 7 days was up and I still can’t get it unsubscribed. Garbage and Lies. You can’t do ANYTHING with this “Free” app unless you sign up for a ridiculously expensive subscription. In other words NOTHING ABOUT THIS APP IS FREE, and it shouldn’t be allowed to advertise itself as free. Many apps are free to download and then require a subscription or add-on payments for full use of the app, but you can use many of the functions for free. With this app NOTHING is free. False advertisement, click bait, call it what you want, either way it’s a waste of time. Apple needs to put an end to it.

Crashes all the time and heats up phone.. The program is good and I enjoy the app so I bought the yearly subscription. I have the iPhone 11 which is a very recent phone and in good condition but the program still crashes many time. My phone also gets really hot when I use this program which is a bummer. I really like what the app does but I’m disappointed I bought the subscription for a year because now I have to deal with constant crashes and a heated phone!

Was a big fan. I don’t know what happened? I was using this app (paid version) quite a lot and all of a sudden today, the magic eraser won’t erase the background??? I’ve tried multiple images and even images I’ve already used in the past with success but no go now? I’m going to delete the app and cancel my sub unfortunately. Horrible. Horrible app and a big scam. Once you subscribe for the free trial you can not cancel. They are not affiliated with apple so you can not cancel subscription. Sorry but not another damn subscription.. Man I’d pay $50 to avoid spending $10 a month, I’m not spending $120 or $40 a year, all these subscription services are getting ridiculous. Magic cut is Something you advertised but secretly hidden behind a paywall. If there was a one time purchase I’d have done did it, but all this subscription garbage is getting annoying, if I had subscribed to every app that forced me too I’d be spending $300 a month. Bring back one time, I’d rather spend $100 than have to spend $200 in a few years time. Greed!

Meh.. Sometimes great to use. Most of the time it crashes halfway through a project and has no auto save feature so you have to start over whatever project you had going. This is with paying for full app uses.

Started great, then started crashing. The app is great. Simple and easy and I love the smart cut feature. However after I smart cut and I continue to erase other parts I don’t want, the app crashes on me which makes me have to start all over and rush it. I’m currently on the free trial and the I don’t think I’ll stick with the app. I can’t handle the crashes

Poor trial subscription cancellation. I tried to go to cancel the trial subscription before it was over, but it does not show up under subscriptions under settings in my apple ioad, therefore I am in able to cancel it. That is deceptive practice and not acceptable. Reached out to them via email and told me it can ONLY be cancelled in that manner. I sent a screenshot showing there was NO SUBSCRIPTION showing that I could cancel. Beware of this false and deceptive practice of unwanted charges to your account!

Just a money grab. You have to subscribe to do even the most simple task. There’s a “magic” button that removes the background of the photo (the purpose of the app), and you have to pay for that. You think you would be able to use the normal “remove background” feature where you can manually cut it, but you have to pay to apply that to your image as well.

Worked well before. I used to use this app like crazy but recently it’s been closing out on me at the most annoying times. I’m curious as to why it keeps doing this as it’s never crashed this much before. Besides that very annoying and consistent roadblock tho, everything else is pretty cool.

App does not transfer over. Had purchased this app when I had my iPhone8, but when I upgrade to iPhone12 it transferred over to the new phone with a message saying it no longer support since it is an older version. Should have kept my iPhone8 to have access to the previous version. Hopefully there’s other app developers out there that doesn’t require re-purchasing.

Garbage. Basically, the main reason I downloaded this app was to make artwork. So I traced an image of my pet cat to use in a peace of art. But once I clicked preview, nothing happened. It didn’t get cropped or anything. Heck, the only reason I bought this was to crop (since ibisPaint doesn’t do that.) and you can literally do all of this on ibisPaint. Blur, shade, you name it. So in a nutshell, it’s just ibisPaint but you can’t draw. So please, don’t download unless they fix this.

Internal server error. Keep getting an internal server error when trying to log in therefore can’t access my saved projects or cutouts. Have tried to delete app and reinstall while saving my membership, but still cannot log in.

Tease. This app I just a tease you only get a few free uploads to remove background then you aren’t given any other option then to upgrade and pay for subscription. What a waste of space on my phone. Don’t recommend. Found a great background eraser that give you as many uploads as you want without a charge only have to watch an advertisement but doesn’t last long.

Love love. So far I love it! The magic cut does great! Plus from price it’s not as expensive as others that do the same which from a small business I appreciate sooo much! I’d love if you added backgrounds of your own to choose from but otherwise love the app!

Ummmm :p. hi um so the only two things that I have a problem with is that you can basically do nothing unless you buy the pro but still you can use text but the other thing is that not everyone can afford or has permission to do the pro. Not trying to be rude cause I do use the text for gacha but honestly what if you take away pro it would be a great and a big help thanks!

Paid for a year but didn’t give me what I paid for. I paid for a year subscription in may of 2021. So that means I should have access til may of 2022 right? Apparently their ‘year’ is a little different than mine because in February, I no longer have access. And there’s nowhere to contact to get this straightened out. Don’t waste your money when all the features are crap you can do for FREE on the internet.

Advertised as free. But I figured you could only do so much with the free version, I decided to give it a try either way. The fist thing when attempting to edit the first pic was the best/easiest features were for the pro version (obviously), I didn’t care and processed to learn the app and edit my pic with the tools I could use. I finished my picture & to my surprise you literally can’t save any of your edits unles you have a pro version!

Perfect for thumbnails. I use this all the time for my thumbnails and they always turn out beautifully! I thank them for that! This is a great app and I think you would enjoy it!

New Pixomatic. I’ve been using Pixomatic for more than a year and loved it. Now it’s a fee app and I have less options for cuts and adds than before! A charge service should add value not remove old options! Not sure I’ll be keeping the app! Very disappointed

Lots of abilities gone.. I already wrote a review but it disappeared. Now the ability to cut is hidden behind a paywall like almost every feature. I paid for this app a couple of years ago. But apparently you’re only leasing the features because now it’s a subscription only. I can’t even believe it. Am I right to think that the original owners have sold this to a competitor and now they have it as a subscription model only?

Sold Out. I had the original pixomatic app that costed $2 to upgrade. When I swapped to the iphone 12, only this version was available. Half of the features, such as the cut feature, literally the selling point of this program, was behind a $30 paywall. It's just not worth it at that price with the features offered, as there are other apps that can do what this free version can and more. It's a shame, considering pixomatic was doing well for itself.

New App - Took away free cutting tool. I’ve used Pixomatic for a couple years, mainly for cutouts and changing backgrounds... in the previous version, access to the tool was free. Now, you can no longer access the previous version you have to download the new version and you have to pay $7.99 a month to be able to do anything. how can you list this as a free app on the App Store? The only thing you can do is look at your pictures for free. 🙄

Not sure what happened.... I had purchased the previous version of Pixomatic. Now that version was deleted, it no longer exists, and I was forced to download this PRO version which now forces me to pay for subscription if I want to used the same functions. I do like the app, but I don't like how they slipped the rug from right under and deleted the first app.

It was good now I can not figure out how to use it. It’s terrible. I recommend this app to all interested in doing what it does . I am still learning how to use it . It is everything I have ever wanted and it is easy to use . Don’t wait you will love it.

Keeps charging me. Hi I tried my free trial and have ended it a while ago and every month i still get charged $7.99 and the thing is your subscription is no where to be found in my subscriptions in my settings which means I’ve canceled it or it doesn’t exist so may I please ask why you guys are charging me $7.99 a month still? Amazing photo app!. This app is amazing and the best I’ve found to date. The abilities are truly endless! There’s tutorials, and it makes photo editing SO easy! Look no further for an editing app, whether for art, family photos, photo editing, etc.

SOS I want to like this app!. I like the app! But IT CRASHES EVERYTIME I USE IT! I can be in the middle of editing something & the app will crash & delete all my progress. If I leave the app, it crashes, if the screen locks/ goes black, it crashes. It’s like I can’t get away from it, no matter what I do that app just shuts down, no warning & deletes everything. Super stressful, please fix this/ help!

Good app. I like the app and it’s features but it’s a little complicated. The cut tool is cool. The magic cut is great IF it cuts it perfectly. It would be better if you added the ability to cut by color. Overall I’m enjoying the app.

Hard to use. Menus are hard to understand , and don’t work as described. I have been trying to learn the menus and have gained some understanding of how the program works. Am older than most of your customers. Help could be a little clearer, like how to switch to another part or just get off the part I’m on.

Subscription. Subscription doesn’t show in Apple subscriptions but yet they charge credit card on my Apple Pay. There is no way to cancel from app itself. Will be calling capital one to cancel and block charges. Especially when I had emailed to cancel because it did not show up in subscription setting as stated by Pixomatic!! Rip off! Can’t cancel . Have to block through credit card company!! Worst app ever

Don’t complain. If you complain that this nothing more than a commercial for the “premium” pay me for it app, they tell you “sorry”. I like the way it works, but $30 a year for something you can get free in other apps? Just got the form letter to a negative review. Basically saying, if your don’t like paying for this, check out our other apps or watch for sales. That way they can bombard you with unwanted messages or emails.

The app used to work.. Before the iOS update 14.5 the app worked relatively well. Since the update I have sent messages to customer service about getting the app updated because now all it does is close unexpectedly, has a ton of bugs, glitches, etc. It has become maddening to use. I have a pro membership so I guess I just wasted my money

Can y’all add a fill option.. I wanted to see if they can add a Fill option because I work on certain projections in the past on another app. But i when it comes down to certain thing I need to fill.

So easy to learn. I created my logo for my business in 30 minutes or less using saved photos from Google and overlaid and adjusted. Amazing results.

Stopped Working. I’ve had a great time with this app for several years. After the last update it just stopped working. Yes, I’ve deleted it and reinstalled. Probably have lost my data but I’ll never know. The app won’t run. Been in touch with customer support over three weeks now and there is no one to help. I’ve gotten requests to rate the customer service that is non existent. I’m hoping someone reads this at pixo that can help me get back to work…

100% not worth the RIDICULOUS price. fist off this app DOES NOT DO WHAT IT ADVERTISES even if you pay $30 a year. the video tutorial on the app page is 100% faked. may do something similar, but not like that, and definitely not that easy AT ALL! everything you create is TINY, viewing on anything other than a 2 inch phone screen is pointless, everything is such a small resolution. there are plenty of apps that actually work, do your homework and AVOID THIS ONE!

I used the free version for a bit then paid for the pro version... well after paying for the pro version and being able to use its features now they want me to pay more weekly to use this app! So now I can’t use the features that I already paid for unless I pay $3.99 a week!!! I think not! Struggling. Wish you would update your tutorials. Also I’m running pro on an iPhone 6 and cannot seem to get the background of a picture to be changed to white. It just doesn’t seem to work. Glitch? Phone too old? Would love some guidance. Adding every cut photo to another plain white photo is too much work.

No monthly fee.. Wow from Pixomatic to pixo pro isn’t much difference. Other then price. Charge 6 bucks for this app with all its features and people will buy it. It’s a good app and gets the job done well. But there’s no way I’m going to pay monthly for it. I’ll stick with the regular version that I’ve already payed for. Such greed in the app industry today. If I want payments I’ll buy a house or a car not an app especially one that can be easily replaced bye another that’s like 99 cents.

My Own. It asked Me to pick a photo and all My pictures are in google photos and why can’t I go there. It want even let Me go back to pick any pictures. Soon as I finish with credit card it automatically withdraw $8.67 and then has done the same withdrawal two More times for a trail.. that is a total of three times this app took My money in two days. Refund My money cuz I want it all back and you can delete My information.
