My Favorite 2020 App. Oh, my gosh! I love this app. I love receiving snail mail and cards from others, and this year I was determined to do the same for my friends and family. But, there was one problem. My handwriting is terrible. People would have to call me to decipher my handwriting. The process of having to translate caused the whole thoughtful factor of sending the card to be utterly lost. So to avoid this hassle, I had to get on my computer, come up with a card design, and type up my message. This chore took me forever, so I never did it. Until I discovered this app. I can now be sitting with my family watching a show, I am not really watching, pick a card, jot down a few lines, and BAM...be done. I love customized and personal cards and notes; this app allows me to do that. Plus, it’s free. I so love this thing. Thank you, thank you to the developers. But there are some annoyances. For instance, you cannot shift a text box to properly center it on your printed pages — that is the case with the inside page and the last page. While it makes the printed card look a bit awkward, it is not enough to stop using this app.

Invitation Maker Review. I love the various styles to choose from. I appreciate that I can edit anything to my liking. The app is easy to use. I get excited to send out the invites and that process of sending is also super easy to do. This is such a great app to have, worth the download. 😁

Awesome!!!. I love this app. It's awesome! I was trying to create a baby shower invitation that I could save and print. I tried several apps and websites and the templates were either ugly or I wasn't able to save and print. This app was super easy to navigate and I got exactly what I was looking for. I was able to edit and change fonts, sizes and colors! I'm a happy camper! :-)

Amazing App!. I absolutely love this app! It is so easy to use and there are many templates to choose from- for every occasion! I got this to just send a little thing to my mom, but I saw how great it is and I kept the app! The only problems are, that 1, I can’t see the final card without the dotted lines before I save or print it, and 2, it’s really easy to accidentally delete or move a text box or sticker. Maybe that wouldn’t happen as much if you had to double tap. But overall, this is an amazing app!

Used for a purpose other than an invitation. I was looking for an app to make a pretty tag for instructions for mug Cakes. The designs were easy to manipulate into Cake title added ingredients and instructions. I loved that I could easily change fonts and text size. The four image print option is the perfect size for my needs. This app just made my usual struggle with coming up with a pretty tag for this project so much easier.

Able to customize almost every text block. I needed a First Communion invitation for my son. I found a design I really liked for a completely different ceremony. I was able to change it to fit my needs. It came out so nice. I have been using the app for everything. I just found a variety of thank you designs!

The Best Free app for making cards!. I was looking for an app for making and sending invitations and greeting cards. This is the best app! The designs are pretty. App is easy to use you can use different fonts, change size, position words where you want. You can tag your favorites card design and save your cards/invitations. You can also send invites in many different ways. The best app ever!

Super easy. Making my wedding invitations was so easy! Easy to edit every text. The design options are so great! The only thing missing is an order button. I wish I didn’t have to transfer the file to another site.

Not liking the changes. This app WAS amazing! But with the new change and update they only allow you access to certain ones now… this was my go to for any type of party/get togethers we were having but now I see they only give you little to choose from before having to pay. I’ll prob be making my invites else where now 😕

I like it. I’ve been using this app for a few years now I’ve only used the invites. My family is always throwing parties. They recently added premium options for some of their nicer invites, signed up for the trial and was charged for the premium because I didn’t cancel but honestly bc the invites are so stream lined I didn’t mind but it’s not worth paying yearly.:: one time is enough. I would like to see some animated/gif invites or popular character invites. You can add pictures, edit fonts, change font colors etc. it takes the stress and hassle out of making invites from scatch

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I downloaded this app because the reviews made it sound great... and IT IS!! I just made my son’s birthday invitations and they are perfect, exactly how I wanted them! I LOVE the option of being able to upload photos/templates/stickers/etc from my own gallery, as well as having the apps collection to choose from. Free app, no crashing, easy saves. I’ll be using this app to create invitations for all of our get togethers! Thank you!!

Greetings Island Review. This app has been an outstanding choice. I enjoy event planning as a passion and use this app plenty. However, I did not go into depth on the details of its high qualities. The function of this app is used greatly as it has many terrific templates to use as a design. Whether being a baby shower or a birthday, this app has it all! Greetings Island also has few features that allow the user to personalize it to their own comforts. These alterations include adding additional text and stickers. There are accommodations that are an optional change to the text. These are the font types, sizes, color, and alignment of the text. Greetings Island is very generous with ads that you could simple close instead of impatiently waiting with a video ad. With various features and qualities involved all throughout Greetings Island, this app is guaranteed to bring success to itself and to all its users!

Best invitation creation app. Super, super easy to use and has a beautiful and professional selection of templates. Best part is it’s completely free! I didn’t have to subscribe to use certain templates/ features like some of the other apps. I also didn’t have to deal with obnoxious ads every 5 seconds. I got so many compliments.

Easy and professional looking. Such an easy app to use, I just created birthday party invites quickly, able to save to my photos and text to family / friends. There were a couple of ads in the beginning, but turned off the phone volume and they weren’t bothersome - very small inconvenience for a free app! Thank you for creating this !

Obnoxious, loud ads. I have been having fun with this app until tonight. I created a card the other day and when i tried to retrieve it tonight to use, it was gone. Cant find the template anymore to re-create it either, more than frustrating . And to add injury to insult, they have now added OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD ADS that play every time you choose to look at a new design. Seriously? I understand the need for ads, but to have them pop up with the SOUND ON is NOT ok. please, Please, PLEASE just turn OFF the sound effects!!! And make sure the “save” feature actually works 🤯

Why I love greeting island .. I love greeting island I get to customize my own card or use others , the thing I love about this app is that I get to make an card not only share to others and have fun and make birthdays cards for me and my friends . Also I can get payed and buy things with my money I love this app and I love using it to make my cards my brithday is coming up so I made myself and birthday bash card . I love it so much I would love doing more things like wedding cards Birthday cards and more to get payed for your help thank you greeting island .

Really Good!. I love the card choices and the varied ways to share the cards. The primary reason I didn’t give it five stars is that when I print the cards (Not the quarter fold cards), the printing doesn’t quite fit the page and the inside greeting comes out uncentered - unless I perform some technical gymnastics to make it fit (changing the paper size to what is supposed to be the wrong size, and other inconviences.) It would be wonderful also if the editing were more intuitive, but that’s a minor issue. Sharing the cards online or via email works great. Since the other apps I had were not longer working on any of my devices, this app fits my needs, and I am thankful for it.

Love this app.. This is the best little app. I use it to make all our birthday or event invitations. It’s easy to use and PLENTY of free templates to choose from. Sure the paid ones are really cute but if your frugal like me that’s the reason your using a free invitation app and I promise you there’s plenty of options for the free ones.

Save the Dates. I had such a hard time finding a card I could do Christmas style for my save the dates that didn’t charge extra simply by being Christmas cards! With this app, I was able to create my Christmas save the dates and still get the cheaper save the date price!

Absolutely love!!! ❤️. My favorite app to use would definitely have to be this one. Especially when I don’t have a chance to get out to the store to get a card or go to a store to make invitations, hands down best way of making them! Use it every time I need too and it checks off all of my needs! The coolest part about this app is how you get to design it in your own way. Absolutely love this app!

Birthday invite. A friend introduced me to this app and I must say I am not a computer savvy person but it was easy to breeze through and make a beautiful card to pass out through text message & emails to friends, it made my life so much easier and in the matter of minutes and I having to go into a store to shop and look for invitations. Awesome experience!!

Love the app but way to many ads. I love this app so much! I use it for all of my invitations from birthdays to holidays. It is great because there are tons of templates for every occasion and you can add pictures, stickers, change the fonts and sizes and a ton of other things. However, my only complaint is that anytime you want to do something there is an ad. Whether you want to go back in and edit a draft, or even just throw it in the trash. However, other than that, it's an amazing app and I would definitely recommend it.

Phone invite in minute worked great!. I used this to create a mobile invitation to text and printed it. Both came out great. I wish I could add another line of text and not just use the ones that come with each template. That limited being able to change the text size for small details. Other than that works great. I also wish they let me move around some of the graphics in the template. But that isn’t was just a small thing.

So Easy & So many amazing temples. I just needed a simple template for my bonfire and it had an easy customizable layout. The invitation saves directly to your images so you can text or email your invitation. You can make edits once you’ve saved it as a draft. And the templates are so cute and great for all the occasions. LOVE THIS APP!

Wonderful...Useful. I downloaded the app to my iphone & immediately loved it!!! I have used it from the website on my Win 10 laptop. There it does not function as well. Hence, only 4 stars. It says you can move text boxes by grabbing the dotted lines. You may grab them but they don’t go anywhere! I ended up going back to my phone to create my card. Please make an app for Win 10.

Best invitation app. This app is my favorite when it comes to making an invitation and texting it out. It has so many options and really beautiful graphics. I’ve used it several times over the past few years! You will love it too!

Best free invite maker. I am the president of a party planning committee, and we do a small party once a month. There are some premium versions of cards that I do wish were free, but I guess that’s why their premium is because they’re the cutest. ;) Even without paying for that though, there are plenty of free options that are absolutely darling, and I really don’t mind the logo in the corner, so I’m really happy about this app. Super easy to use!

A M A Z I N G!!!. Update: It’s been a year now that I have had this app. I don’t use it often but anytime I do I just love it!! I still stand by my first review! So far I have only had this app for a few days. I downloaded it to help me out with my baby’s blessing invitation. I am BEYOND happy with the app and honestly a little sad I didn’t learn about it sooner, it makes virtual invitations a BREEZE no joke. I tried making an invitation on Word Swag; while it is a great app it’s not idea for creating invitations, so this one was a total life saver. I will 100% be using it again and again and again! I am shell shocked at how easy and simple this app is to use! And it’s FREE!! 🥰

It’s a great app. It has never failed me ! Others make you buy stuff and then don’t work or have a huge water mark in the middle this app is great for invitations or all kinds ! Lots to choose from! And you can add whatever picture you want if you didn’t like what they have but I have never had to do that!!! Been using it for years it seems

Great! But.... This is a great app and well worth the purchasing the premium for me because I use it so often. However, I wish there I was able to warp texts and flip the texts however I wished. This limits the use of simple cards being used any other way than portrait mode. This can be frustrating sometimes.

Best E Card App!. Love this app, the free version offers a lot and you can pick a card with a background you like and then just change the words to what you want to avoid paying for some of the paid cards because the background shows up under multiple topics. I use this for every birthday, holiday…pretty much anything! I did end up signing up for the paid version eventually because I like having more options but you can upload your own background as well! Lots of layout options, can upload pics. Love it!

If you want actual free design. AMAZING. No watermark, the designs are beautiful and I was able to make my invitations for my wedding, looking professional and just what I was wanting. Other sites where I’m trying to get them made, had beautiful designs but none felt fitting. I tried this just on a whim and I’m in love with just the very first one I chose while playing around with what it can do! Afterwards you can save it no problem!! Only thing I would change is having an undo button and a preview button so you can see if you like the finished design without having to save as a photo first. Overall fantastic!

Awesome App. I thought it would be one of those apps that have little to no option for stuff for free but no it had so many options and I was just able to create a card without having to spend money!

Great App. I have been using this app for years now and I enjoy it. I’ve tried other greeting card apps but they never fully match my personality like this one does. I collect greeting cards so having this app is just perfect to send to friends and family in a snap! No postage!!

Just what I was looking for. This app has so many options, both for free and at premium level—which is still cheaper per month than buying one nice greeting card. I’m making my beautiful wedding invitations with this app and my mom bought some nice paper from Staples and is printing them. Very nice and professional. I can’t wait to use it for my baby shower invitations!

So many ideas!!. This app is so much fun to use. It’s so easy to use and with step by step instructions has me going to this app for so many ideas for printable invitations and other functions. The ease of changing the font size and creating your own wording is just awesome. You can start with a blank slate and then add what you need for the page to say. I make lists by choosing from the many many background illustrations as an added look to dress up notes for holidays and grocery list.

Great app. I love this app” but “ with every app there is always a downfall. I do not have a computer I do everything on my phone and when making prints it’s a full size page when I usually need to print invitation card size. If that could be and feature added that would be wonderful but over all love this app 😉

Almost Great.. I just wish that you could do the same on here as you can on the website. Like rotating the images, putting the images forward or backwards, having the option to choose from “Suggested Messages “.. just to name a few.

Not bad. This is definitely an app that is worth it to have. I wish they would give you a little more freedom when you choose a specific layout but other than that, it’s amazing and I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it. I definitely recommend it to anyone who plans things or needs to write a thank you note or happy birthday card.

Okay site. I’ve been using this site for many years and recently purchased the membership upgrade but am looking for a new site to use. All cards were previously free but the membership was added so they could charge for certain cards. I print all of my own cards. Other than that, there seems to be no special reason to purchase a membership. This site doesn’t offer unlimited saves of your creations and they don’t regularly update card designs. The app has limited use. Some design features can’t be accessed on the app, a computer is required.

Easy and festive. The designs of the invitations are so pretty and theme driven. I appreciate the multiple choices of designs we are given. Printing (if you can print from phone), texting, or saving to photo library are examples to save/ get access to the invitation. I think emailing is another option! I never thought it would be this easy. The option to save a draft is a bonus.

In Love. i most definitely love this app ! it lets you make your invitations and save them to your device without you having to pay anything. this is exactly what i be looking for to make my invitations, and the templates are so pretty !! I would definitely recommend this app

Great app for invites & cards. Almost perfect app. Easy to use and great selection of different templates. Birthday party invites, religious occasions invites, baby shower, thank you cards etc. So far only con is there isn’t a way to correct errors, there is no “undo” button. I used app to create office holiday party invites which were well received.

Charging while claiming it’s free. This app claims it’s free to use for the first week. I canceled my subscription in less than an hour and still been charged for 31$! I contacted app provider they said they will report the problem but they won’t do anything about my refund and I have to follow up with apple support, although this is a faulty in their product they don’t take responsibility for refund. They just thanked me for reporting their problem!! Internet is full of scam and I am really not sure what you can trust these days.

Pretty Good App. I think the app is very useful for last minute cards and it has a lot of variety. However, I think if we could move the text around and change the layout for ourselves a bit, it would be very helpful. Also, if you can enlarge the pictures because in some layouts, my picture(s) cannot go to their full extent, therefore making me change my picture, or the layout. Cheap to print and easy to use. I am amazed on how cheap this app is to print and how easy it is to use. Well first I have to say that you can just get straight into it and you don’t have to put in passwords and what not. Secondly I have been searching all over App Store to find an app to print my birthday invitations because I was going towards spending $115 dollars for 3 birthday invitations so I love this app for this reason. And thirdly I love how easy it is to customise them because other apps I had to go through a whole process just to pick a backround. And this is why I suggest this app for invitations to all occasions.

Greetings island. I have been using this e-card maker for a number of years as it has a lot of variety. I was going to take out the subscription a couple of years ago but have had trouble with the app on and off. Sometimes when I want to go back a page it just gives me a blank screen and nowhere to get out of the page. I have to close it all down and start again! Also when I want to email a card it won’t send even though I have entered the addressees email address. Sometimes the card page does not fit on my iPad screen and I am unable to change the text, make it bold etc. I was going to take a subscription again this year then experienced the same problems. Why is this happening now? When I first used this app quite a few years ago, I never had any problems.

Almost there. The app itself has a lot potential BUT right now it’s very limited. It would be great to see own account where you can see/adjust your subscription and more options in editing as well as be free from advertising.

Wonderful. After downloading 6 other apps trying to make an invitation for my daughters birthday, none of the others cut it. They had poor search functions when looking for designs, limited templates & editing tools were confusing. This app is the complete opposite! I’ve only made one invitation so far, but it was so easy & has come out looking very professional. I’d definitely recommend it.

Best invitation app out there. I’m so surprised just good this app is. It’s my go to for all invites now. It has so many fabulous choices and it’s so easy to edit and customise. Best of all editing is just so quick giving you a preview of what it looks like as you go. Love it. It’s brilliant and you can even save a picture and text it to your friends if that’s your preferred method of inviting guests. Can not fault it one bit. :)

5 star. Wow, I literally just took a chance on this app. I sat down to construct an invitation for my Grandfathers 80th and it took all of 8minutes! I’ve sent a text to my father for approval and guess what I’ve already got his reply YES THAT LOOKS NICE. Drama sorted. Now we will print and send (old fashion post style). Thank you, I’ll be using this again.

Professional app with many free options!. I have been using this app for many years. Friends and family always blown away and think I am so talented. Lol

Used for years now quits when printing. All 3 members of our family use this app on fairly new iPads running the latest iOS. Every time when you go to print (AirPrint) for the past 1-2 months it randomly quits. So sad! It’s been our favourite app for ages. We’re hoping for a fix but so far updates haven’t addressed this.

Greeting Island Review. Really good app, I’ve made a few invitations. Something that could make it better is if you were able to remove the watermark without paying. As the watermark ruins the invitation. But other than that, it’s really good and works great for making invitations at home for free😊☺️😊

Subscribed without free trial. I clicked 31.99/year with 7 days free trial but didn’t get the free trial when I subscribed. Not super pleased with this. I think maybe I had the free trial prior to this before but I’m not happy that they were not clear about that. I love this app but I think it’s expensive especially if you only have a few birthdays every year.

My go-to for birthday invites for my kids!. It’s only available for the iPad but it’s the BEST app for creating the most beautiful invitations. Love the options for pictures, even for free usage. Also not that expensive for a subscription, it’s so worth it. HIGHLY recommend, you won’t be disappointed!!

Not happy. This item says it gives a free trial. However, when I went into utilize my free trial seem to be taking 3199 off my debit card without my permission which it end up, blocking my iPhone from moving forward and using it in areas that I generally would use on a regular basis I went in and deleted app, as well ascancelled the subscription that said it was a trial. Yeah it’s still trying to adamantly remove the 3199 I would not use this app again I’m filing a complaint with iPhone.

This is the only app I use for invitations. This app makes sending invitations easy and quick. So simple to edit and customize. I’m always confident my invitations will leave a good impression. You can send it as a pdf or jpeg or print and deliver invites. Love it!

Charged for free trial. I’m upset because I loved what this app could do and my invitations worked out beautifully, but unfortunately when I cancelled the subscription (20 minutes after I got the app and finished my invitation) I received an email about an hour later with a receipt saying I was charged for the subscription. It said I would receive a free 3 day trial and I clearly did not. Very disappointed with this and the fact I was lied to when I clearly read free trial. Will not be recommending this or using it again unfortunately.

Great app but needs work. The app itself is great to create invitations but there is no option to manage the evites that is sent. For that we need to always login to the website. Would love to have that feature so that we don't have to go the website

Best Card App. I love this card & invitation app! So easy to use and you can be as creative as you want it be. I wish it allowed you to import contacts for when you need to email Christmas cards.

Pretty good app. This is a pretty good app. It allowed me to make a wide variety of cards and barley any ads . It allows me to upload custom pictures from my camera role and even send the card digitally. I gave it four stars because the front cover in the card can not be a custom picture

Super sweet!. What a super sweet app!!! I have used this for dinner parties and now a Christmas party. It’s also a sweet and beautiful personal way to send a reminder to a friend for a luncheon or coffee date or girls night outing!!! I just love it! Cute Invites but not Fully Functioning App. I am not able to add any stickers although it shows that’s an option. I’ve also had difficulty saving a draft. It will just show the loading sign for several minutes until I just have to exit out.

Very Satisfied. We all know that if you get an app for free you’ll be putting up with ads. That’s not the developer’s fault. It’s annoying but this simple, no cost app did the job which was a 50th wedding anniversary invitation and it came out beautifully so I’m happy. It was also easy to use.

So easy to use and no ads!. I was so surprised that this app is completely free without ads! I downloaded to try it out thinking there was going to be in-app purchases or ads on the invite that I created and there was neither! Plus, it’s so easy to use and edit! Love this app!

Not a lot of variety. There isn’t a lot of variety. I have the premium account and it doesn’t transfer to the desktop version. I had to make my invitations on the app which is not really user friendly. Would have been easier to make my invitations on the desktop version but for some reason my premium account information does not not transfer. I reached out asking for help and haven’t had a response.

Simple and with many different templates for different cards. Great App for any sort of card you may want to create. It’s free and you get ads but not while you are working on your card. Don’t think twice, try it, you will be hooked!

Beautiful card design, but….. Beautiful card design selections but eCard does not support links and the second page of pdf is inverted (maybe so that when it’s printed, it’s upright but it definitely does not make it easy for people to read upside down).

Great app.. At first I didn’t like it cause it wasn’t really uploading my photo to the Invite and it may or may not do that still with other bigger files but so far after a bit it worked and it’s nice cause it saves to your camera and or you can share it immediately !! Good quality and very professional

It is SO fun!. There are so many free templates, I honestly can’t believe it! The invitation and card selection is better than I would have ever imagined. There aren’t any popular characters (Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol, etc.) but every other animal, holiday, party theme you can think of.

Love this APP. I attempted to use another “invitation maker” app prior to this one and got really frustrated with the lack of not being able to choose my colors among other things. This app was so easy and user-friendly absolutely love it! Wish I could purchase it without the ads.

Great simple app. I tried several free apps to create invitations and they were too complicated. But this on worked great and had a lot more templates that I liked. My intention was to use the app this one time and delete it but I am going to keep it for future use.

Greetings Island. This is such a great app and website. I like Greetings Island because it’s cheaper than other card companies and I like the fact that you can send your Greetings Island cards as an E-card which is totally awesome.

Simple to use but not saving any invites :/. I was able to create an invite on my first experience without an issue. When I attempted to create a second invite, the app hangs when saving to drafts or when attempting to save the final product... killing and reopening the app does nothing but remove the invite you were working on - no draft saved and no saved invite in photos... I guess this is what you get for free. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Best invitation app out there!!. There are so many options and there are an enormous amount of beautiful invitations to pick from and everything is free, you don't have ads popping up every time you try to edit a word! Very easy to work with! Love love this app!

easy awesome app!. I downloaded a few invitation apps to make for my babyshower to send to friends and family but they had some flaws that made it difficult to get a simple text in. This app was so easy and I found the perfect invitation to fit my babyshower theme! I def recommend!!

AWESOME but.... I needed some template ideas for my upcoming grad party invites and this app had very cute and nice ones! The app itself is easy to navigate and works well. The only tiny thing I would say is that the sticker section is a little small and it would be nice to have a bigger selection but other than that, I love it!

Quick & Easy!!!. My daughter wanted a mermaid theme birthday party this year! I found an invitation she loved right away, put in her party information & 5 minutes later I sent them out to our family & friends! Super quick & super easy! & it’s free!!!!!!! Will definitely use again!

New at this app. There is an ad after every time you look at card and then go back. Didn’t realize to save draft had to update first and retyped 3 times before figuring out. Every time you print the app closes and if didn’t save draft, have to start over. The final outcome is nice.
