Great. Is there a way to delete old prayer cards?

Isn’t very helpful. If this app had notifications to pray for the requests at specific times and days of the week, this would be perfect. Currently, you simply write out requests and you always have to open it to review all the requests.

Very helpful in prayer journey. Love this simple way of recording prayers. Access to scriptures is an added bonus!

Awesome app to nourish your prayer life. Makes creating prayer cards quick and easy. I love that you can tag bible verses to the cards without having to type / write them out. Very well done

A Good Start. I admire Paul Miller’s A Praying Life and found this app through a friend. While there are definitely more full functioning prayer apps out there, if you’d like a simple prayer card app, this will do the trick. I hope that this app will continue to be developed. I’d really like to be able to sync my contacts with the app so I don’t have to manually put contact info in for each person I’m praying for.

An orderly life. A great tool to help me balance my prayer life.

More detailed than calendar reminders. In the past I’ve often set reminders in my phone to pray for friends or family members. With this app, I can add more detail and track the “prayer stories” as God works! Excited to get started!

Need to fix the glitches. Really like the idea of the app. However, there are so many glitches! Odd letters added randomly after I save a prayer request - both in the items I write and the preloaded scripture. I make changes, and it will save, but when I go back the next day it is back to the random letters again. Very frustrating. I would also like the ability to write scripture in different Bible versions. If they are similar, it will change my added scripture to the preloaded one which is also frustrating.

Good start - more needed. I was pleased to spend 2.99 to encourage the developers of this app. It’s a great idea and once it has more features it will be extremely helpful. I’d like to be able to schedule my weekly prayer commitments to specific days. (i.e. Lisa on Monday’s, Joan on Tuesday’s) and the same with the monthly group (day 1 of the month, day 2 of the month...). I’d also like this to link with my contacts and my Bible app. As it is now, it’s very much like the stack of 3x5 cards that Paul Miller proposed in his book - but this app could do SO much more! You have a good start here, please keep working at it!

Excellent!. Beyond organizing your digital prayer cards it also allows you to easily attach relevant scriptures that are searchable by category.

Awesome App Even Better Book. I love this app, it is great. It allows for an organized way of praying through scripture and requests for people on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis! But even better than the app is Paul Miller’s book A Praying Life. This book completely changed my perspective on prayer and God is continuing to change my life through it. Praise God for His grace, mercy, and love!

Great app! Handy and organized. I love this app. It keeps my prayer efforts organized. And because of the categories, I am always aware of other things I should be praying for. And while you can connect a limited number of scriptures to your requests, my only wish is that I was free to put my own in that category or it connected me with the WHOLE Bible. Life-altering. I took a Praying Life Cohort from seeJesus based on the bestseller by Paul E Miller. I kept losing all my Q cards and this has helped a great deal. I love that you can put scripture along with your prayer requests and that everything is dated. If you have a chance please go to the seeJesus ministry to see all the wonderful opportunities available.

Love it!. I love the app! It is very helpful and easy to navigate. Is there a way for the weekly or monthly prayers to have it set for specific days? Like Monday’s weekly prayers, Tuesday’s weekly prayers, etc.

Love this tool, would like to see some additions.... Was introduced to this tool and love it! So helpful for me to stop looking at the clock as to how long I’ve been praying and trying to remember what to pray about. Question: are there any ways to add “answers” to the requests?

A Praying Life. A very practical application for keeping track of prayer requests. Easy to use.

I’ve been waiting for this!. Though I’ve tried to enjoy using index cards for prayer, I just don’t. But this app is easy to use and exactly what I hoped it would be!

Finally - a great praying cards app. Very simple to use, but has the essential elements of the praying cards concept from A Praying Life by Paul Miller (a must read, by the way). The built in list of common Bible verses was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend.

Review. Works well esp if you are familiar with prayer cards. It does crash at times.

Suggestion. I like this app very much. I’ve told my friends about it. I would like to suggest adding a few things to the prayer request section. There should be a category for “Praises”. And you should be able to mark each prayer request as “Answered” with a “Date” so you know you don’t have to pray for that request any longer. But I would still like to keep track of the answered prayers for later bible meeting discussions. Your thoughts?

Not a fan. At first try, this is not a well engineered iPhone app. PrayerCards added cannot be shared between iPhone & iPad. The text entry box is too small, just 1 line can be seen while typing. I can’t see the full request that I entered at one time. The suggested spelling of words on the iPhone is disabled. I’ll continue to use the Notes app. I hope the donation I gave for this app will help pay to improve it. Don’t buy this app until they come out with a better version!

Great but no notifications. I love the idea of the Praying Cards App. The layout is clean, efficient, & well pleasing to the eyes. I enjoy most the application other than there being no notifications for my prayer cards. I see the developer will sometimes reply to these reviews, so if there is a way to be notified & I overlooked: sorry! This is great tho :)

Loved A PRAYING LIFE. We used A PRAYING LIFE for our special small group prayer time and it provided much discussion and great ideas!

Useful but lazy at this point. We need a way to mark answers to the prayers. Also, when editing, I can only see one line of what I’m typing/editing...?

Does it save?. Thank you so much for your ministry and the app. I have been using it for awhile and my prayer card has grown. Is there anyway to save the cards as I transfer to a new phone?

What a blessing. I am finding this so much more effective than a prayer list. It takes a bit to learn, there don’t seem to be any instructions or help connections. However, I love having my prayer cards right in my phone, available for any quiet moments or wait time.

Love it.. Would love for the Bible passage menu to be a touch more accessible.

Yay! I’ve been Waiting For This App!. After reading the book, I started using prayer cards. This method of focused prayer worked well for my personality and I shared it with my Teen Bible Study Class. However, as a few years past, my card stack got large. I’m on the go a lot and I desired more portability. I tried to use other “flash card” apps but I didn’t keep up with the process. I’m so glad that the app integrates scriptures. I expected that I would have to type in a scripture. Bonus! I appreciate that the app integrates with my contacts and I can send a text or an email to encourage the people that I am praying for ... this too is a really sweet feature! This app is just what I’ve been desiring! Yay God! I believe this tool will help me to be more disciplined with praying for ministry and extended family ... I know this is the first release, but does this app synchronize across devices?

fabulous. I was using a Flashcards app before I discovered this app for listing scriptures to pray over others. I have been adding my own Scriptures, also. I love is that I have my prayer cards with me all the time!!

Should be free until better.. Given that PrayerMate is free and this is paid, there needs to be a lot of improvement made to this app. It’s a little glitchy when you’re trying to add prayers to daily or weekly, etc. I had to close the app and return so that it would update.

Really good start! Enjoying this app. This is a great app and something I’ve been specifically searching for. 3 things I’d love to see are 1) an Apple Watch app would be great. 2) the ability to add a one time prayer and times to pray for people on a specific day. 3) Siri shortcuts. I’d love to be able to say hey Siri start prayer etc and have it open to a specific spot. Again great start and it has been really helpful and useful to my prayer time. I’m excited for this app to be further developed and happy to support the ministry. Thanks!

Thanks!. I am very much enjoying the app! Thank you for the work put into it so far. In addition to being able to add scripture to the different categories of scripture, which I did figure out, I would like to have the ability to add my own categories. Certain words came to my mind, such as Hope, Perseverance and Depression, that we’re not in your categories. It made me realize we all think a bit differently and being able to add categories and/or edit yours may be helpful. Thanks again!

Answered Prayer?. I like the app, but I can’t find a place to record how prayers were answered. It’s not enough to just delete the request.

Can we have the scriptures in Chinese? Or have some language setting for scripture?. See above... I got the email response from you. I am willing to help with testing/reviewing of the Chinese version of the app.

Very handy. I’m new to using prayer cards so I’m grateful to have them in a form that is easily portable. Instead of checking email or media in spare moments, I can open up this app and pray through my cards. It would be great if I could input Scripture without having to copy and paste, which is a little cumbersome.

Completed Prayers?. I am just getting started with this app after reading Paul’s book. I am looking forward to getting more in they habit of practicing regular planned prayer. One thing I was looking forward to was the ability to check off or track completed prayers as a way to see how God is moving through my life, but the app doesn’t have that ability. Pls consider including that into a future release. Would also be great to be able to work across devices with the app, but that is not so important to me as tracking completion.

Helpful tool. Good electronic tool to help keep you directed during prayer. Very helpful in the context of the book Praying Life. The topical scriptures are okay, limited in their scope. One suggestion might be to have access to the whole Bible so the user can select his/her verses applicable to the subject along with the topical verses.
