Search function nonfunctional. The recipes themselves are amazing. The app Is infuriating. You can only seem to search by checking off boxes for ingredients or looking in a broad category like Vegetarian. This is a good feature but it would be nice to literally search for the recipe name for something you see on Instagram instead of paging through, hoping to finding a recipe in a category. I almost never can find the recipe I saw. Not worth paying for. Use the website for free. It’s not designed differently but at least it’s free. (Also not a fan of having recipes that are .99 within the app when you already paid for this app. Seems like a money grab.)

Great Recipes but hard to navigate. If a search function was added to easily find recipes, this would be a 5 star review. It’s tough to find what you’re looking for in the current setup.

Refund or fix it.. This app does not work. Please fix it so that I can scroll through the recipes. Very disappointing. I might change my rating when I can access everything it has to offer ! ?

Too frustrating to use. The recipes are great but honestly the app is so clunky and non-intuitive to use that I don't want to open. There is no logical search function and the save button doesn't work on many of the recipes. I wish the app would get upgraded, I'd definitely recommend the purchase to others but right now honestly cannot justify the cost with how hard it is to use.

Maunika if you are reading this please!!!. Hats off to you. Great recipes and great content but In today’s world of being health conscious having recipes with no nutrition fact is like selling a ruler without mark points. Lol. I hope you got what I meant. Also you might wanna consider sitting down with your app developers to bring it up to the level of new iOS. It’s not so user friendly and the user experience can be a bit better. Maunika rocks!!. I have gifted Maunika’s cookbook to a lot of my friends. The app is awesome too. For the reviewer who gave 3 stars just because the measurements are in the metric system, simply use Google for conversion. How difficult is that!!!🙄

Poor user experience. The app has a lot of useful information but it’s quite difficult to parse. There’s no real search functionality to even search for recipes by name. I can’t see myself using the app much, and it’s a shame that I had to spend $3.99 for it.

Overpriced- Not designed for IPad. This app is overpriced with a very few recipe collection in my opinion . I was able to access the same from the web page - open source. It is very unfair to charge 3.99$ dollars for this app with the same options . Moreover, I initially purchased this from my iPad as I intended to use it on my iPad . This app was definitely not developed for iPad resolution . You can’t say it’s iPad compatible just because you can Launch it form iPad . Very bad user experience for 3.99$. I would rather want my money back .

A great app. I follow Maunika on face book, have her first cookbook and her app. I am 71 and have no trouble with the app and think it s a great addition to her cookbook. Thanks.

Recipes are great, app itself is not. Please enable a search function!!! There is no way to search for a particular recipe which has greatly decreased my ability to use this app. Luckily I found a few after spraining my thumb from scrolling so much and was able to save them, but it’s just not the best app- disappointed bc it’s a paid app!! It seems like an easy fix but I’m not in IT

I want to love this app but .... I really want to love this app! I bought it and was hoping to have access to all recipes but it seems like there are some recipes that you have to pay even more for after purchasing the app. The recipes looks great - just wish I had access to all of them after paying.

Limited. Some of the recipes are good but the number is super limited. Hardly 6-7 recipes per category. There are so many free apps with hundreds more recipes so if you want to stay competitive, I would add more or this was a waste of $$.

So many delicious recipes!. The photos are beautiful, the instructions are easy to follow and the results are amazing! I love scrolling through the categories and getting inspired by all of the different options. I agree that a text search functionality would be helpful, but it is fairly easy to search when narrowing by ingredients or category. Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! Easily worth the $3.99! :)

Search bar missing. The app is ok. There are some basic things missing, like a search bar to search for recipes. I see that there's a search feature present based on the ingredients we have but that doesn't help much when you have to browse the list all the way down to find a specific recipe. And the scrolling speed is also jammed, cannot scroll at the normal pace

No way to search for recipes. There is no way to search for a particular recipe. The search function just takes you to an ingredient list. What a waste of money. I would never recommend this app. The creator posts recipes on her Instagram and says to find them on the app but there is no way to do so.

Nice app but... The images are retrieved from the web. While this should be no big issue, in the days of web sites coming and going it would be a shame if the images should one day stop loading. To those that complain the app uses metric - yes it does as most of the world has adopted this as a standard. Your kitchen scales will convert it for you, or Siri will happily convert it if you summon her while fingers are covered with raw chicken!

Can’t Scroll Down. I just downloaded the app and all day I’ve been trying to scroll down but can not, and it’s frustrating me because I paid 3.99 for this app and I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it but same problem, is this normal? Please advise someone!

Worst navigation in an app. I paid for the app! Rip off! The app is completely hard to navigate. Search for a recipe and it does not give you correct recipe. Owner blocked me when i told her it was completely hard to navigate from her photo recipes on instagram to trying to find (impossible) recipe on her app! My searches many times over the years have lead to not finding what i am looking for on her app. I am so frustrated and feel like she is only after money and truly does not care when a paid customer for her app is having a bad time many times looking for recipes in her app. I would think if i got a complaint from a paying customer that i would immediately try and remedy, apologize and tell customer you will try to HELP them. Verses blocking me and not responding and being indignant to ignore my troubles! Great customer service(NOT) I would NOT purchase this app. Many gracious chefs with indian food that you can purchase their apps.

Toggle between metric and imperial. I know the whole rest of the world uses the metric system but the US doesn’t so I can’t just glance at a recipe and know what 200 grams is without exiting the app to convert it, which is a pain. If there was a way for users to toggle between metric and imperial this app would get 5 stars from me!

Would be nice to be able to print recipes. Hello. This app would be better if you could search for recipes and also be able to print. The food is good. It’s just not a great user experience

App not working. Not able to load recipes past the first page- scrolling isn’t possible Would love to use the recipes that I do have access too but can’t scroll down to see it! Disappointed

App doesn’t work since update. App won’t respond to scroll since the update. Unusable, which is unacceptable for a paid app.

Not happy with app. I love the recipes but several times now I have saved recipes only to find the next time I log in they are all gone. The feedback button doesn’t work which is also frustrating. It is no match for the apps of the professional chefs which is a shame because as mentioned, Maunikas recipes are great; you might as well just stick to the ones available on her website - for free. Yes, I am giving this same review again; I’ve lost ALL my saved recipes YET again, so disappointing and so frustrating - surely you are better than this, Maunika?

Beware - even once you’ve bought the app, most of the recipes in the app cost extra. Disappointing that the app only contains a few recipes in each category for free. The rest cost extra $ per recipe. Images aren’t as good as the images Maunika posts on Instagram. It’s hard to pick a nice recipe from tiny thumbnail images that look similar. Wish I could filter out the recipes for sale. I would not recommend this app.

Great recipes, poor app. Oh for a simple search function. Great recipes but frustratingly hard to find. Easily solved if you could simply search for recipe by name rather than ingredients.

Frustrating and waste of money. As others have mentioned - saved recipes disappear and now I can’t scroll at all on the app so it’s useless! Shame because I love her recipes but developers clearly don’t care.

Three winners in a row. I’ve made three recipes from this app over three weekends and each has been a winner with everyone. These really are great recipes that work! Recommended.

Beware you keep on paying. Only a few recipes are included in the price. You will be asked to pay per recipe. Very misleading

The app needs a search function. This app is very hard to use as you cannot do a simple search. Instead you have to search by ingredient or by category. It is very hard to find a recipe from Maunika’s insta page in the app, especially if you are not familiar with the Indian name for recipes without a general search function.

Appalling customer service. I have had this app for a long time. The recipes never save when book mark them. I have written 3 times about this. Never received a reply. My account that I paid for has disappeared and when I wrote to ask for help. Zero response. This app is a rip off

Great recipes but app needs better search functions. The recipes are fantastic. This is excellent value for $6 CDN with no additional in app purchases. I think the app could use some development in terms of searching recipes. You can browse recipes by category or you can search recipes based on the ingredients you have. I would like the ability to just search for the name of a recipe instead of having to go searching through for what I’m looking for. I also think it should have a region breakdown. For example if I want to see just Kerala or Goa dishes I would like to be able to filter by region if I’m in the mood. Overall would recommend.

Excellent guide to Indian cooking!. Before I got this app I couldn’t seem to cook Indian food that had any depth of flavour and thankfully that has changed. The recipes are clear and easy to follow and I will make the Paneer Butter Masala until the day I die. 5 ⭐️

Not quite there. Needs search capabilities and stable saved list.

Can’t scroll through menus and recipes. Can’t scroll through a presented recipe or menu. Interface is terrible. I am queued to purchase recipes for 99 cents.

Found a bug. I found a bug where some of the recipes won’t load. No help from the developer. The author advertises about the product on social media but does jack all on the upkeep of it. Waste of $6 imo.
