Charges. I noticed money being taken from my bank account and labeled as ‘apple’ I downloaded this app some time ago, didnt like it, and deleted it. Just noticed that it has been charging my account every week!!!!!!! Do not download it!

Scan made easy. It was really easy to use and great app

Scam be aware before you install it. It is totally a scam. It chargers me 19.9 dollar a week without any notification. The app is useless. I installed it by accident and uninstalled it right away. Stilled got the bill every week. I realize it when I started to check and credit card statement. It is a scam.

BEWARE. Shame on this app I got a free trial to take a look and bam before I knew it billed $42 (20/week 2 weeks at a time). Never even opened the app on my phone. Meanwhile when I went to cancel and saw they have a $5/week option but the stupid thing defaults to 20/week. I would not be so mad if I lost $5 but $20 - shady!!!

Sneaky!. I downloaded the app for about 10 minutes and then deleted it. I didn’t realize I had subscribed to something until I had been charged $60 on my card after 3 weeks! I didn’t use the app once and I was still charged!! Don’t download! Absolutely ridiculous!!! I’ve lost money that I need as a college student!

Subscription Not Worth It. I’m a student and during Covid this app was a life saver. At the time the app was free. All I had to do was watch a few ads and I could put my homework on the computer. There were a lot of ads, but I didn’t mind. I understand that the developers want to make a profit off their app, but as a college student I have to think very carefully about how I spend my money. To me this app is not worth $9.99/month. This app is good, but not $9.99/month good. Unless you plan on using this app multiple times daily, it isn’t worth it. To those who looked at the In-app Purchases tab below, I could not find a $4.99 plan in the app.

Scammed.. This app signed me up for their subscription without asking for my permission. I accepted a free trial when I downloaded the app, then promptly deleted it within a few days. That was months ago. I look at my bank statement to see I’ve been charged $20 without my knowing for the past several months. I was immediately signed up for a subscription after my free trial ended, even though I deleted the app. Never in my life has something like this occurred, and it’s absolutely ridiculous. The developers of this app should be ashamed, as it is a blatant scam, the goal of which is to take as much money as possible from consumers without their realizing. I made that mistake. Don’t do the same. Don’t support this app. Report it.

THIS APP WILL SCAM YOU. Downloaded this app to upload one college document like two years ago. I deleted the app after and today I just noticed it charged me $50 out of nowhere! The app isnt even downloaded to my phone! I’m reaching out to apple support to help me. Do not download this app.

Used to be good but they got greedy. Loved this app a few months ago, I watched ads and got what I needed done. Now you’re lucky to even get one scan and then no access unless you buy their subscription. Not wasting my money on this, it isn’t worth the price.

No no no!. Just needed a simple app to scan my time sheets for work and received an email receipt from Apple that this app cost me $50 !!!!! It automatically subscribed me for a year at $50. If I’m going to be spending ANY amount of money, I should be made aware of it before hand. Furious.

It does not notify subscribers that was a try all and charge me without notice. I accidentally downloaded this app try to see if this is a good scanner and did not receive a reminder of the so call renewal and charge. I later foundout that they did charge monthly $20 . Don't get the tricks！

$250+ In Charges. I thought I was purchasing a 7 day use for the premium app. But no. They charge you EVERY 7 DAYS. I don’t handle my finances, my accountant does. He didn’t think anything of it, but when I found out I was furious. Over $250 in small, easy to look past Apple charges over 7 months from. The amount of plan options makes it confusing. I thought I was getting one week of the app. I worked with Apple to try to get some sort of refund for all of these charges but it didn’t work out. Now I am out $250 and all I have is a mediocre scan app to show for it.

Rip off. Wanted to try this, took pictures of documents. Sent 1 document off and the other 3 documents disappear. FAQ doesn’t even tell you where the documents can be found. Later I found out that the 1 page I sent was connected to all pages and I sent documents of pages not meant for the receiver.

SCAM not SCAN. 20 dollars per week subscription!! and the app has awful user interface. The page that opens when you first open the app has the 20 dollar a week subscription preselected and start now in big blue text. Only in tiny font can you skip selecting a subscription... free version lacks any function compared to other scanners. If a developer replies to this your app is still awful delete it from the store.

Waste of my time. I only use the app occasionally. Today they begin to push a subscription model, which I declined, with the option of keeping the basic model. Instead of accepting my request, they continue to push the sign up page and limit my access to my scanned document. I just wasted 15 mins trying to recover what I had scanned. Better to just discontinue my app and state it. I hate games. Now I will waste another 15 mins finding a new scanning app.

Scam 𝖠𝗅𝖾𝗋𝗍. Application says you are getting free trial, but it turns into fee subscription. Used once and found it to be useless. Fee charged was not $1 per day as claimed by developer, but $20 per week. Totally worthless and charged for three weeks before realizing subscription had begun. Never came across subscription mandate with free offer.

Lousy app. This worked for about three days before every scan was interrupted with a demand to subscribe. For $20/month. Are you kidding? Meanwhile, none of my scans are being saved, so I can’t even use the app. Unbelievably slimy service. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

Align the document. Having problem to align the document

1st use. This is amazing. Never used before and found it exceptionally easy to use.

No customer service. I canceled the auto renewal on the first day of using this app. They still ahead and charged me over $50 which is an extremely high amount. There is no customer service number to call, so you just have to send unanswered after unanswered email and kiss your money goodbye.

Refund. Someone bought this app by accident, and it’s asking if they can get refund, they already cancel subscription.

Great way to scan on your phone. I didn’t have a scanner and this worked perfectly!

SCAM. Do not purchase this application it is a huge scam. The app gave no instructions on how to uninstall the application and the automatically overcharged money that did not even apply to their advertised prices after I deleted the app. If you don’t want to be charged you will have to unsubscribe form the app. Go to settings and then click iTunes and Apple store and then click your Apple ID and then view Apple ID then go to subscriptions and then you’ll click cancel subscription. I am upset that these people are stealing money.

Completely free??. You can’t do pretty much nothing with the free version! If you want to share or find your preciously scanned documents you have to upgrade. “Only $9.99/week” Thanks but no thanks!

The other shoe. Worked great for a while but now I am unable to scan. Every time I try, get annoying music and a message demanding that I ‘share ‘ in order to proceed. No thanks I will use the camera instead. Disappointing

Waste of time. This app is a waste, I used it once and it was unsuccessful. I even purchased the app for $99 a year. I tried to send a fax twice and then it tells me it was successful, meanwhile I waited a whole week and found out it never went through. What good is it. Needs to be fixed and hope people read the reviews before this purchase

Got robbed!. They charged my account $20 twice and I haven’t even used the app. I downloaded it once.l, deleted it and then my phone broke before I could go and cancel my subscription. I had no access to go in and cancel it and I got charged $20 twice for some weird reason. Like that made my situation any easier!

Scanner performance. The scanning is fast and easy. The problem is in the printing. I am printing wirelessly to a HP Officejet Pro 8620. The page prints dark, as though you scanned a document with the top of the scanner open. There has to be a way to adjust this within the application. Absolutely a scam!!! Complete waste and criminal!. Not even one star! $63 per month out of the blue. Apple should be ashamed as well. They allow scam developers to sell through their site. No proof of authorization of this charge. Apple just puts the charge through. Last app that I get through Apple. Time to leave Apple.

App Doesn’t Let User Unsubscribe. I came across this app while searching for similar apps. Unlike the other apps, this app remains in your payment subscription attached to your credit card, does not allow you remove it while in the free trial. And it’s overpriced. I rate it a ZERO!!!!

Don’t get fax subscription. I added the free trial for the fax subscription. It didn’t work! It was on my phone for probably 10 minutes. Fax would not submit after several attempts.

BE CAREFUL. I’m a type of person to not always believe what some reviews say.. but unfortunately what everyone is saying about this app is true. Please follow the instructions from the first review before you get charged. Don’t waste your money or time with this, go buy the actual app for $6.00.

Worthless. Well, developers have destroyed yet another app that functioned perfectly. I need this maybe once or twice a year. Worked great for my needs. A little wonky in places, but worked for the few scans a year I needed it for. Now, they’ve gone and made it a subscription only app and the cheapest is $10/month. It’s not worth it for me to pay $120/year for a few scans. This app went from decent to garbage with one update.

Scammed. Shame on me for not double checking the subscription/price. Shame on the company for making the default subscription $119 annually, as opposed to the $4 weekly subscription I intended to purchase. I went to cancel immediately after, but was unable to. Buyer beware!

A scan.. When in the middle if a prohect or just moving documents to a file in your phobe, the app is an invaluable noting process. The jey to any positive eval is simular to eye contact in sn iterview, this app will make ir break any buisness situstion resolution.

BEWARE OF THIS APP. This app unfairly charged me $21 even though I was still in the free trial period! It also did a terrible job of scanning my document, so I instead just used my camera. Folks, there are many free scanner apps that are easy to use! Don’t go for this one!

Poor quality. I tried using the auto for capturing the page. It would continuously start to load and then somehow got messed up to where it would start the loading of the page from the beginning. Very frustrating. When I used manual capture, I was able to finally scan the page, but the quality was horrible. The page appeared more sepia in color and any details in photos were blurred or at least less defined. Forced to subscribe even though it’s listed as a free app. Apple should categorize the app as a paid app and the rating stars should be way less.

Ridiculous App. Once you open the App, it will automatically scan the first page 10 times, mostly with fuzzy images, and then starts to push promote another paid subscriptions. The only thing you can do now is to quit, or download the other App

$25 a month!. How does this app get a 4.6 star rating when all I see are single star ratings and “bewares”? Does this developer not know that there are free scanners in the App Store that work flawlessly? Not to mention apples own scanner in the notes app. $25 a month subscription is ridiculous.

STRESSED. I downloaded this app 2 days ago and found that it wasn’t the app that I needed. Unfortunately, I forgot to delete the app and I just received a notification that 118 dollars will be taken from my account tomorrow. This is very concerning to me considering that I have not even used the app. I already canceled the subscription and deleted the app and filed a complaint on your website, but I really hope that my money will be returned to my account or I may have to file a fraudulent claim with my bank.

Also scammed. I had the a similar experience that the other person who reviewed this app had. Didn’t realize I was all of a sudden paying $20 a month for this app that I only used once and didn’t intend on using anymore. It took me almost a year before I realized what was happening which makes me sick to think about. Was assuming the $20 charge was for other apps that I actually use but discovered the charge on my bank statements had actually been for this scanner app when I got a new iPhone 11 and was searching through my app purchase history to download apps I use onto my new phone. That’s when I discovered I was getting charged $9.99 twice a month for this for so long without knowing it. Again, sick to know that so much money was wasted because the creators of this app charged me such a high fee regularly for something like this without me knowing.

Charged my account multiple times a week. This app has a very deceiving payment layout and I know I selected the 9.99 a month one, but the app has been charging me 9.99 multiple time a week. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone!!!!

Hard to Unsubscribe. The price for subscribing is ridiculous but I did the free trial because I was in a hurry and it claimed to be able to convert photos into JPEG format. I couldn’t convert photos in JPEG format after I subscribed, then found it difficult to unsubscribe. After looking at reviews on here the instructions the developer gave to unsubscribe were really unclear and I ended up having to google it. Hopefully have ended my subscription now but was a big waste of time for something that should’ve been simple.

Useless. After spending 45 minutes scanning loads of documents, I clicked to email them to myself and then they disappeared! They’re not saved anywhere in the app to access them again. Not impressed!

Rip off. Overpriced subscription fees for weekly, monthly and yearly plans for a camera app that crops out whatever surface the document was sitting on. I can do that for free with my camera and cropping images in my photo gallery with a vanilla iPhone. Don’t waste your money.

Nothing but SCAM!!!. Dont even bother trying this out. After the 3-day trial, they start locking you into this contract of AU$28.49/week with no option to cancel on the app. And even after I cancelled the subscription under the Itunes and Apple settings, they still could somehow get access and kept charging me.

Technical problem, dont download now till its fixed. I have been using it over a year which has been the best app till I renewed the subscription this August. When it was renewed I was not able to use the app as the scanned documents looked so washed and fake. I have waited over a month now for the problem to be fixed, which the support team said would take place soon, but as it is not happening and I have paid for a whole year AND not being able to use since the beginning of the subscription, I would like to get full refund on this subscription. Download and automatic subscription. This is an App that automatically asks you to subscribe for a week for a small sum of 25.99$. With a three day trial first. But. If you don’t read it carefully and then come back to your account to cancel it. That’s 25.99$ gone. It’s a scam. They know what they are doing. And there is another option of only paying 6.49 for the same service too. Don’t download. I don’t know how they got such a good rating, but this is intentional cash grab. Update: It’s still a scam. Don’t download this malware for your own sake.

Terrible App. I got this app for my online schooling where I need to send my school work through. I got the free trial, cancelled the subscription and it continued to bill me 3-4 EXTRA times. Keep in mind I had already cancelled my subscription and deleted the app. Now, to this day, my phone will not accept any payments plans new or old, and will not let me download anything or take any new pictures or whatever. It tells me to check my previous purchase history which I did, and it says it billed me and it went through. Apple has not been able to help me and hasn’t gotten back to me. Do not download this app, it’s a scam and a piece of garbage.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I have the paid version ($13CAD a week) and still have to watch 15 second ads between scans. The scans send to my email only %10 of the time, the other 90% of times they get lost and never delivered. This app is very clearly a cash grab, do NOT trust these other reviews as it seems some of them are bots trying to raise their average rating score.

Dishonest. Download for a trial and you are automatically subscribed. This is called a dishonest way to do business. I will stick with TinyScanner which is cheaper and did not force me into buying.

Unsubscribe the app. I can’t unsubscribe the app through apple id/ subscribe section. I have just downloaded it and it says after three days it will renew automatically. Please help me unsubscribe before it renews automatically.

Easy. So far so good, very easy to use.

Hidden fees. I downloaded the app by mistake and for some reason I was charged 9.99 to my credit card and I didn’t even know . I want a refund.

Scam big time thru Apple - Shame on you. I CANCELLED THIS please let me know you acknowledge this. I’m on my way to my bank to stop~ and if it shows up in bank, I will go to police! I did not sign or give my info to this company... you gave Info to this company? How come? No order for PDF scanner I have high powered scanner on my Mac computer and my printer .... and my Microsoft Pro laptop and my Samsung tablet Please acknowledge you have received this!!!!! Thanks

Beware of subscription. This app is not recommended they take advantage of subscriptions to bill you for a year even if you delete the app. Make sure to cancel subscription.

Annoying and spam. Opened the app. Spammed the payment option and I tried to click out and that scanned my finger to confirm payment

Do not get this app. Downloaded this app and it charged me 119 dollars the day I downloaded and I did not authorize! Scam

The worst. This app is a joke. Worst scanner I’ve ever tried to use. Save yourself the frustration and don’t download it.

Stay away. This app is no better than taking a picture with your camera then cropping it. They make you pay a subscription for pretty much the free camera you have on your phone for free.

Horrible. I deleted the app once i got it cause it makes many mistakes when transferring the document into a text and i never authorized a yearly subscription and now i can’t get my money refunded

Bad and scammy. It doesn’t scan docs well and they also try to make you auto-opt in to a subscription, which is confusing to cancel.

Finally rid of ripoff!. I am so grateful for the comment above this one. I was going crazy trying to unsubscribe for this ripoff of an app - 20 a month! I could finally get rid of it thank God! From the help sites I could not get any - This is a real ripoff!

Ripoff App. Even 1 star is too much for this app. It won’t let you try it before purchasing. Once you buy it you can’t get your money back.

Major Scam- Fraudulent activity. Once you download they will start charging you $20 then $4.99 every day without any way to cancel or stop it. I’ve had to file fraud claims with my card company. Do not download.!

Awful. Was this a predownloaded app? I don’t recall downloading it. Why would I want to pay for a subscription when the notes on iPhone can scan documents for free? Lol, uninstalling. In response to the developer: Thanks, but no thanks. ✌🏼

make em suffer. i just pushed restore app purchases and wall la , im in and now i see everything my hacker has been up to and im calling the police because now they are trying to get tax documents so they deserve to go to jail whether it be your sister or a complete stranger.

Clickbait. This may be a very fine product but they only give a three day trial and then charge you $50 a year unless you dig into your Apple account and cancel the implied purchase. For this gotcha kind of marketing, I give it one star.

Scammers.....do not fall prey.. The app is a scammer. They trick the customer to click on their page and suddenly the free trial starts for 3 days a drink your card is locked for Charging. There is no link available to cancel their subscription. Serious cheats

DONT BUY IT. It charged me $10 a week and I had no idea it racked up a bill of $170 on my credit card. Call apple to get a refund and cancel the subscription right away.

Scam. Scanner did not work and makes cancelling difficult. Follow others advice on how to get removed from subscription, I’m still worried they’ll charge me

SCAM. App is a scam. After the 3 day trial period, it automatically renewed the subscription for a YEARLY $100 subscription!!! Yes, I was charged $100 for this app. Which I had already deleted off my phone. Beware!!

Enganation!. It says it was free. After downloading it asks for a subscription, that I never allowed and now it is charging me every month. I want to cancel it as soon as possible!

Charged me twice. This app wrongfully charged me twice and I had not used the app in several months.. I would like a full refund to the card the debits were takin from. Very dissatisfied

Scam. This app is stupid, didn’t even let me use it after I accepted the subscription. They just want your money. Cancel it ASAP if you made the mistake of downloading it.

SCAM!!!!!. I never review any apps (even the bad ones) but this is just HORRIBLE! They lock you into these annual subscriptions and then you don’t get your money back. Follow the first review and save yourself the trouble! Not even worth the 1 star.

It was supposed to be free. Wasn’t impressed. I only tried it once. I can take a photo & edit it better. I deleted it & will not pay for it. Stop harassing me with emails

Great app. Really easy to use

Limited. Allows you minimal controls even when you pay for the extra features. It really screwed up a deadline I had to fax in my scans.
