I love it!. I’ve been looking for an app to share pics and videos with family without having to have actual social media. With this app I can chose who sees pics of my kiddos and I’m able to message them directly on the as well (like a DM). I do wish it was a bit more like Instagram or Facebook where you can @ someone to reply to their comment or where you could tap on a pic and see who’s tagged. There’s also no widget option available and I think that would be an amazing feature to add! But seriously for a free app this helps me organize my pics and videos and it’s so nice to be able to have all the pics in one spot.

Do not download.. I allowed my child mom I edit. It wouldn’t allow. So I reset the password and now no one can sign in. Do no use the junk app

I GOT F**KING HACKED. I LOGGED IN USING MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND RIGHT AFTER I DID THAT MY ACCOUNT GOT HACKED. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS AN OK APP BUT NOT ANYMORE.

Really useful. Very useful - I’ve kept all my photos of my cat from when he was just a little kitten to now! So nice to be able to look back on the photos and share with family/friends.

Overhaul update results in lost content. Hi team, The recently released mandatory update changes a lot - I’m sure we’ll come to love some of the new features. However it appears to have wiped all prior journals - we had used journals to capture and share our bub’s key milestones. Is there a way to retrieve them and add this feature back please?

Great app to capture & remember special moments 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I have 3 timelines — for my 2 kids & fur-dren & wish I had something like this from the start, but the great thing about it is that you can go back and easily start one from scratch in a jiffy! It’s so nice to go back & remember some exciting milestones. I also love that my close friends and family especially ones overseas can also share these moments with us - and not have to skim thru our social feed. I feel it’s safer. 😍

Perfect for sharing. This app is the best one I have found to share photos. Discovered it just before my bub was born and it has been so good to share photos and videos with family especially during these pandemic times. 100% recommend this app!

How much will this app cost?. Hi there. I’m yet to provide a full review as I have not fully explored its features in details. When I signed up I noticed though that it says that the app will be free for the first 6 months. However the price after these first 6 months has not been stated there. Would you have a rough idea of how much will it cost? I would like to know if it’ll be worth spending a lot of time to create a timeline now, and in 6 month’s time it’ll cost me an eye to just maintain my account. Thanks.

Keep the family connected!. Don’t feel guilty about overloading your family with baby spam! Momatu is so well laid out to upload and access all your bubs special moments in a timeline! Tried other apps and Momatu has the best layout.

Underrated. Easy to install. A wonderful and private way for families and friends to share moments without being exposed on social media platforms. Good controls regarding privacy. The company should extend itself, IMO; push the app further. It could be so much more. Keep building on it. Suggest individual customisation of interface, control panel that limits particular pics or comment options for invited parties, a family tree / relationship option and possibly integrating blockchain technology. Timeline moments. My family loves it , the timeline feature is handy for us to save our family milestones. The scrolling timeline chronologically organized these moments and it’s great to see them all together instead of different albums scattered throughout. Nice to see them all in one place and organized.

The BEST way to share moments with family. After the birth of my first daughter, there were so many family members and friends we wanted to share pictures with that would capture the special moments of her growing up. This app not only made it so easy to do that but also helped chronologically organise all her photos into a cute little timeline so I could really appreciate how she grew. It’s been such a delightful app to use, I’d highly recommend

Surprisingly good. I’ve used a bunch of family apps to keep track of my kids overseas and at university but this one’s definitely the slickest and most intuitive. Keep up the good work!

Not the app it used to be…. I never write reviews for an app, however, the fall from grace for this app is nothing short of sensational. It is such a disappointment to see how a useful, well-designed and purposeful app has turned into something completely different. Where once it used to be a digital scrapbook for childhood memories (and therefore provided something unique), it now competes with other common social media platforms such as Viber, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc. The current version is not a brainwave but rather, regrettably, a brain explosion.

Love the privacy and always makes me smile. Our family is spread over 3 households, so it’s always lovely to receive a picture. Such precious memories and I love the timeline function! Momatu keeps families connected and brightens the day, I feel secure knowing it’s private and that this will be a forever photo album that we can all access for generation to come.

Keeping families connected. This is the best app for keeping families connected especially now we are in stuck at home in lock down away from our families and friends. I’m a new mum with little time on my hands (well basically none!) so it’s great for updating everyone daily without having to send individually. Easy to upload and the grandparents love it because they get their daily dose and it is easy to use especially considering they aren’t the most technically savvy.

The perfect app for sharing all those special moments!. Highly recommend this app for all Parents! I’ve been using Momatu for a few months now.. and gee do I wish I had it when I had my first child 3 years ago. It is such a fabulous and beautiful way to keep your family's special memories together, in one intuitive and functional platform. The app is ever-changing and always improving. My Husband even contributes to our family photo stream- this alone is mindblowing 🤯😂

Great app for family. This is a great app for sharing pictures to a family audience. My main concern with sharing pictures online is privacy and control over those pictures. Hoping that as this app grows in popularity, it continues to prioritise privacy.

Bring back comments!. Used to love this app to stay in touch with family in lockdown but the addition of the “home chat” function ruined what was great about the app which is people being able to comment on individual photos. The chat function makes it hard for anyone to comment on the photos you have to just comment on a whole up load. We have heaps of other avenues to “chat” - this app was great for being a virtual photo album- now it’s a disaster.

Not just for kids. I don’t have human kids (yet) but my fur babies now have their own timeline. Puuuurrrfect!
