Great game, awful management. I just want to begin by saying that this game could be amazing and that I started out so hopeful it was going to be everything I ever was looking for in a Marvel game. The character design is absolutely amazing. The character kits aren’t always the way I would make them, but that’s totally to be expected; different people have different ideas and that’s okay too. But the way the treat their consumer is the worst out of any game I’ve ever played and it’s not even close (and as a gamer, I’ve played a ton of games). If you don’t shell out thousands of dollars a month they literally could not care less about your opinion. They recently had two bugs, both of which accomplished the same thing: they made a challenging piece of content, that granted daily rewards, significantly easier. For one, they said people could keep their progress and, for the other, they said they’re rolling it back (you lose your progress). The only difference? The first one required you to buy several offers for their newest character to exploit, the other one didn’t. Countless examples just like this. It is the worst relationship I’ve ever had with a developer and it’s a shame because I want to like this game so badly. If you’re thinking of playing, please, please don’t. It’s not worth the hours of frustration over some of the most petty decision making I’ve ever witnessed. Save yourself the headache and play literally any other game.

READ ME!:))2/6/23. This game it great fun, interactive, and also addicting with the grind it sets you on being as there is 200+ characters and ofc overpriced in app purchases BUT BUT BUT!!… msf and scopely..speakin for every other experienced player…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of the goofy requirements of needin to log in for 7 days straight in order to access the SIMPLE simulation feature in raids and the 7 day milestones too. They disappear after missing less then 24 hrs of not touching the app. Life happens and WE LITERALLY CAN’T be there 365 days a year. The alliance im in has gone from platinum to silver quickly too and chatting with others in global it’s the same thing for them. Older players still play guys..but it’s hurting the raid aspect of the game and alliances too. Thus alliances fall and being as alliances ALSO have the war feature tied to them, im afraid the war aspect seems next unfortunately if y’all keep on this path…oh and magneto freezes sometimes in a Hitler salute position lol. OHH and fire the person who had the “7 day login in a row” lol. It really is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ game. Hopefully the 1 star got yalls attention:). Oh and global chat has ideas like adding nightcrawler, banshee, wrecking crew, Amatsu-mikaboshi, quick silver, Mephisto, Ego the living planet, black cat, lizard, scorpion, and Korg and miek from Thor Ragnarok but perhaps as one character for the two of em.

Best game I think I’ve ever played. I have to say that this may be the best game I’ve ever played on a smart phone. I have never consistently and for this long logged into another game to play something so phenomenal. While there are options to purchase different character shards, orbs, and other fun things, I’ve never felt pressured to do this. And I think it’s a good trade off considering that I’ve never seen an ad displayed on this game. The artwork is awe-inspiring and the sound effects are on point. 👌🏻 There is a brilliant team of talented people who work on this game to bring new events and creative game play that feels very cinematic. I only have one complaint and that is that over the last two days when the game is loading it gets stuck at 42%. I have to restart several times to get in. I have confidence that this will hopefully be worked out, but I have to admit that I’m rather sad. I’ve made this game part of my daily routine especially since COVID-19 has put everything else on hold. Overall, brilliant game and I would happily recommend it to anyone else (and have) to make room for on their phone. I just hope that the loading issue can be resolved quickly. 😊

A good game at first.. I’ve been playing this game since it’s release. It’s actually great with its tactics structure and the little bits of story and character interaction. Over time, they bombard you more and more with micro transaction offers that don’t really pay off well. Also they favor those who spend money but only to a point. The drop rates for things like character shards or important upgrade components are terrible. You could spend a week’s worth of energy and spend the in game currency and get nothing far more often than maybe one or two things. This makes it so investing in a character you like takes many months without spending money. Though the tactics are good the roster is heavily imbalanced. The effective characters are hidden behind immense paywalls or several character prerequisites. With how difficult it is to acquire a character needed to get someone you actually like or someone who is useful, it could take potentially years. And this game is only 3 years old. The members of the top rated team recently all quit because Scopley failed to recognize and address the issues. I used to play this everyday being a big marvel fan. Now I barely play it a couple times a week since I get next to nothing from it even if I were to play it daily and sink money into it.

Could be 5 stars. First off, I absolutely love this game! I grew up with these heroes, and not I enjoy sharing that love with my children. The rare characters often are only available through purchase, or require an outrageous prerequisite to aquire. While I completely understand that it’s a fantastic way to make TONS of profit from fans who spend money to play (like myself), I would be much happier with the experience if the developer’s were more forgiving with the timetable for which the character events are available. Give us paying customers a chance to make it through a pay period so we can have the funds to accomplish the tasks required. Maybe give us a way to reserve promotions for a Later time, like a raincheck, otherwise it can be incredibly frustrating! I NEVER spent money on mobile games before, and now I have invested more money in this game than every other form of gaming media I own combined, and that speaks volumes for how amazing I find what they have created. That having been said, when I can’t take advantage of a promotion because of it’s short availability, I feel unappreciated as a customer. The game deserves a review that ends on a positive note, so I’ll say this. Hands down my favorite game that has ever been created for the mobile platform. Amazing!

Ever since I got this game I fell in love!. My dad actually introduced me to strike force because we are both big marvel fans and once I got it I was addicted! The start can be a little slow at first but once you get to level 20 the action starts and the leveling up gets slower, right now I man currently level 67 and It’s super hard to level up, but that’s what’s fun about it! The in game purchases are SUPER pricey so I would recommend only buying them on a special occasion but I understand why they made them pricey, it’s a free game they need to earn some money some how. Another thing I love about this game is that each character is so unique, like literally every character feels like so much time was spent on them and it makes the game so much better! And the characters give you different abilities so it’s not just a different looking person with the same exact strength and powers! That was probably my favorite feature. They also update this game constantly! For example I used to hate this game mode called real time arena because I either fought people way weaker than me or way stronger, but now they fixed that so it’s WAY more evenly matched! Well overall I think this game is definitely worth a try and I can almost guarantee you’ll get hooked

Good game, bad company. The gameplay, graphics, and concept of the game is so much fun. However, the company is only concerned with squeezing every penny out of its fan base, and this directly affects the amount of fun you can actually have. Ready for days and days of not playing the game because you’re trying to farm for new characters and gear with horrendous drop rates? That’s what it takes. And when something goes wrong, the support team gives you canned responses, doesn’t take responsibility, and doesn’t fix the problem. This game could be incredible. Instead, it’s little bits of fun sprinkled into a giant slog of clicking “auto win” on your 15th day of trying to get Captain America until your resources run out and you either have to spend an unreasonable amount of money or go do something else. They tried to charge $100 for a package of five of the worst players in the game. That’s the price of two real, award winning video games! Your customers should spend money because they want to, not because you force them/trick them into doing it. Start caring about and listening to your fan base. It’s possible to make money AND have a fun game for everyone. Improve customer support, and increase drop rates so we can actually play the game. You will make way more money in the long run, and we will be happy. Win/win.

Read before you download. Never thought I would be leaving such a horrible review but with the current state of the game, enough is enough. I’ve played the game for 1,000 plus days and sure every game goes thru it’s stages of ups and downs but this is kind of silly at this point. On the surface, this game seems fun and you can see the potential however the current bugs and constant bottlenecks make the game unplayable and moreso unenjoyable. You may read other reviews and may want to give it a go but trust me, you will never catch up unless you pour thousands and thousands of dollars into the game. Sure, you can play as some of your favorite heros and villains but if you are competitive, this game is not for you in its current state. A question to the reader of this review...what is the point of coming out with new characters if you cannot farm them for months/years after their initial release? Even if you unlock a new character, they will be irrelevant with their power level to make any difference. More food for thought for the reader of this, there have been meta characters released during my time playing this game that you (the new player) will not be able to unlock/counter. Good luck competing against god tier level characters that are unavailable for you. Such a shame because the game used to be so much fun...

Great game. BUT, there are a lot of problems. The game itself is awesome. The problems the game likes to present are not. The small amount of almost any resource in the game makes it very hard to build up more than a few characters. The bugs are constant. I don’t think this game has had a moment in the almost year I’ve been playing where it has been bug free. If you want to actually play all of the material in a reasonable amount of time. I’ve spent more on this game than I have any other game in my life. I still can’t enjoy all the content because of silly rules for raids like 100% completion before you can unlock the next Ultimus raid difficulty. This really should be a 30% but give extra rewards for 60 and 90%. A lot of alliances are more casual like mine. Make the game more player friendly. Not just for the people that are in the best alliances. Long term everyday players should be who you are catering to. We love the game, why make us question that. I left another similar game because when I started the pricing on some deals were cheap and worthwhile. Meanwhile I spend 20 dollars on the Magneto gold deal and all I can do is take my Ultron from 76 to 80 and have a little left over. That is one of the best deals they offer but the value of what I got out of roughly 3 million gold isn’t worth it. I’ll keep playing, but don’t keep making it more difficult to love the game.

Great game at it’s core, absurdly greedy company running it.. I’ve played MSF for just over 2 years now and I feel like the gameplay and art is fantastic, but unfortunately that is ruined by the money hungry company that believes that it should only be played by those who have an absurd amount of disposable income. In order to even barely keep pace with the constant stream of new characters, you’ll need to dig deep into your wallet, as any event Scopely releases will not be enough to unlock them as a free to play player. This would be fine if new characters weren’t essential to progression, but as the power creep is very real, you’ll find yourself falling far behind to the whales who throw thousands of dollars at this game. Whales control the game in every aspect outside of raids. Want to get character shards out of Blitz? Well, expect to get about 25-30 max, since the whales will always be in the top 10%. What to be #1 in Arena? Best be busting out that credit card! If your alliance isn’t a group of whales, don’t even think about a rating beyond the lowest levels of Platinum. The events are a joke for FTP players, and the offers are so grossly overpriced that you’d be a fool (or rich) to buy them. In the end, the game is pretty fun if you play it casually, but if you have any interest in seeing end game content, you’ll be spending a ton of money or a lot of years grinding away. By the time you grind out a “meta” team to usefulness, that meta has been long dead for months.

Major matchmaking issues. How is it universally possible that I have a team power of 62,000 and then I go up against a team who’s power is 39,000 sounds like it should’ve been an easy win right? Not in this game, I can somehow have almost 30,000 more power than an entire team and still lose while only being able to take out one of the enemies, now keep in mind that only one enemy was 10,000 power, the rest were under 7,000 and yet somehow my 12,000 power characters can’t completely ruin them like they would in any other game, this games been out for years and just like future fight it has a major issue when it comes to the matchmaking, you could have the better characters and better power and somehow get completely bodied, and I know it’s all just a tactic to get you to spend money to get character pieces and upgrades faster which I’ll admit I spent a couple bucks to get one of my favorite marvel characters and he’s my strongest guy but gets taken out by someone with a 6,000 power level, that needs to be fixed because it’s really stupid, they probably never will because scopely is a money hungry scudfest of game devs who don’t want you to succeed in their game but maybe someday

A thought out well marvel gem. I personally don’t play much mobile outside of pinball and hearthstone but I’ve always been a huge marvel fan as a whole. I have tried some of the marvel games out there, over all, there was way to much to manage with some bugs or some lack luster of the execution. But I must say that this is a well thought out and polished game with crisp visuals and a decent size campaign with extras on the side. It doesn’t feel over baring like I must do a million things everyday to get the full rewards and the auto wins help for getting materials or if you don’t have enough time. They have a nice of an ever-growing base of characters, a mix of iconic and non-iconic. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a fourth skill that is manually usable during battles. Over all, I have really enjoyed this game and will continue to do so. P.s. and I’m sure you guys get request for “ this and that” character. My only one character I’d love to see is gambit. He’s always been a bit of an over looked character cuz the “unspoken” face of x-men is more of wolverine, Jean grey and a couple of others. But Gambit has always been my favorite since I’ve been a kid. Ty for your time reading this.

Newest Update Breaks Your Game. I’ve had this game for quite some time and always enjoyed it. You failed to product test the newest ISO-8 update however. After downloading the new patch, I attempted to open your app no less than five times and was met with the exact same result. Upon loading to roughly ninety percent at the start screen, the game attempts to do its typical download of updated content (something which I fail to understand why it could never be included with the downloaded update). I am unable to move around the normal menus while it is downloading and mid download it opens the completely unavoidable iso-8 tutorial which shoehorns players into that menu. After being forced to continue, the downloading of updates freezes indefinitely and then the load screen is stuck in a forever loop while trying to open the iso-8 tutorial which is literally the very content downloading. This persists assuredly indefinitely but for sure more than five to ten minutes. There are always quirks with your app and any other apps after an update and this should’ve been tested for and should be addressed. Beyond that, there are the obligatory issues that never seem to be addressed or fixed at each update. From simplistic changes such as the level cap randomly dictating that some players can not progress beyond a particular level and others can. The level max is pointless if I can’t even reach it because I’ve maxed out at a point that is obviously not the true max level.

Good game. Bad business model. Developers: Don’t listen to all these bad reviews. You made, and are maintaining a great game with a lot of potential. Most of them are complaining do to the fact that they aren’t any good at the game, because they don’t take the time to work out the math on what makes a team good. That said; they do make reasonable complaints about your strategy for paying the bills. Most of your players are marvel fans, not free to play game fans, so you can keep your player base more easily than other games like yours. Maybe, you could add a feature to allow your players to watch commercials in place of spending money for currency, equipment, and character shards. This way you can take some pressure off of your ‘direct purchase’ dependency, allowing you to give more for less, without effecting your bottom line. We (your players) are willing to make you money, and be loyal customers, but most of us do not have enough to justify spending ANY amount of money on a ftp game. Even those that do, can’t afford what o asking. It seems like a small few are paying an arm and a leg fo all of s to play. No fair. Maybe, give a monthly subscription option that gives more frugal players an appealing option. Give hem all the characters, while still forcing them to level like everyone else or something. SOMETHING BESIDES DIRECT PURCHASE REVENUE PLEASE. Thank you for your time. Take care.

Help us understand. I’ve given your game a two star rating as much fun as it is to play I’ve only been playing for about a year now I just saw that infinity watch just came out. How as a mid game player who has not one team in DD two yet going to catch up to get even close to that team I don’t understand? I do have to say that the game is very fun right now I still get to build some of my favorite characters in the Marvel universe but like everybody said there are major roadblocks with T threes and gear at level 13. So in my point of View I see the end as infinity watch there’s no way I can get to that team and I’m just gonna get farther and farther behind I just don’t understand why there is not more mechanics in the game to help out new players and game players like myself I watch a ton of videos on all the new contact from all the whales and Cracken. By doing this it is helped me with Rostock construction and what teams to build going forward but if you guys could put something in to help us new game players in mid game players would be much appreciated I just feel very defeated by seeing this unbeatable team coming to the game and there’s no way for me to get anywhere close to the team at the state I am at least at least a couple years away thank you

Do Not Download this game. THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE, FRUSTRATING, AND PAY TO WIN. DO NOT SUPPORT $COPELY The developers at $Copley do not care about the player base unless you spend thousands of dollars per month on this game. The constantly put out wrong information or fail to mention certain critical things in their blog meant to keep the players updated. There is NO cadence for making characters farmable, and when they do add places for the players Farm characters, they put in 1 new character per 2 characters that are ALREADY farmable in other locations in the game. This game employed frustration mechanics meant to try and get you to spend money. All the decent offers are upwards of $50USD (so much for micro transactions), and the last milestones in events are just convoluted offers. The milestones in this game require you to make a spreadsheet and run numbers to see how much engagement is required to complete. And milestones that require Blitzing game more are wasted screen time. You literally press “find new opponent” button, click “SIM” button, and repeat that 40 times - that’s one rotation of your roster. You then have to do that 5-8 more times per day (but there has to be a 2hr break between each so you have to log back in throughout the day for this stupid and pointless game mode. THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE, FRUSTRATING, AND PAY TO WIN. DO NOT SUPPORT $COPELY

Good stuff, data mining major issue recently tho. They take provides a lot of distraction substance to be for sure. Great sound effects and visuals for a limited autonomy rpg. They have really upped their game (puns he funs), and allow for more “freemium” style playing. You can progress slowly(and more surely) now compared to a year ago, without the need to pay to play. Whales are rampant at only much higher levels. Ok…have y’all read far enough now? Here’s the dig, recently they have started asking access to and “creating” quicker paths to simply logging in? Like “hey we’ll take your email log in; your biometric, and phone passcode and add it to scopely’s ‘data base’ so everything is one button press away for logging in!”….right so you’ll gain full access to my phone so I can avoid protecting myself and spending an extra 30 secs loggin into the online store? Don’t fall for this guys. Looking at you Youngbloods under 21. Gotta long way to go, don’t just give freely your identity to what is theoretically a casino guised as a game. I still really like this game, and most functions work amazing. Most ppl are super helpful and friendly in alliances. Just seriously, DO NOT PUT IN YOUR PHONE UNLOCK PASSCODE WHILE LOGGING INTO THE WEBSTORE, bypass all the easy routes and log in normally. I love you all, have a good day Ps….wtb ad blocker

Replacing my review daily until it stays. Apparently my old review wasn’t up to $copely’s standards so I’ll try this again. I have been playing this game for 3+ years (since it initially launched) and the state of the game currently is chaos. They are selling fragments to an orb that costs 5x what it should cost for an orb with multiple items listed without a drop rate showing. This is completely against the TOS set forth by Apple, all sold loot boxes must show the drop rate of each item contained. They list multiple amazing rewards but show them all listed at 0%. They then claim it’s a limitation that they cannot show the actual number because it’s between 1% and 0% (keep in mind there are other items listed in this same orb that have a drop rate of 0.001% which completely disproves what customer support is saying). Reddit is current on fire because of this awful event that is only designed to drain your wallet. If you’re deciding wether or not this is the game for you to start playing, I STRONGLY advise you find something else to fill your time with. Customer support doesn’t care what your problem is even if you happen to spend $1000+ a month on their offers. If you need any further information to verify my claim, go to the marvelstrikeforce Reddit page and you’ll have more than enough data to confirm what I’m saying is true.

Awesome game slow grind. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months now and let me tell u if u don’t grind every day you’d definitely fall behind. I don’t mind it since it doesn’t take that long to do the dailies and such. U do have to join an alliance if u want awesome rewards that help out a lot to level up ur heroes. The new war system is pretty cool as well but ur alliance has to coordinate a bit more than in the raids to win cuz trust me u wanna win haha war rewards are were it’s at. The pay out is a bit better than raids. Anyway what I like the most is that it isn’t pay to win. I mean if u wanna spend hundred of dollars just to avoid the grind then go ahead cuz the offers they put up are always to reach a certain team power faster or get a character powered up faster but in the end u can just grind it out and it’ll be the same. I like this game and I gave it 4 stars just cuz it’s a bit slow in terms of leveling up/powering up. I’d recommend it tho if u don’t mind the slow grind. P.S almost forgot to mention if ur expecting certain hero teams(the avengers) to be above everyone else you’ll be disappointed lol there’s a bunch of teams u can create that have better synergy (defenders/city)than other teams u can put together.

Great game. Thanks for the reply, the issue was fixed. As I said before, it is a great game, but when you start it is hard to progress. I believe that you should make smaller events, as many new players can’t progress as well since it is mostly high level events. Even adding events were you get 10 shards of characters every week would be cool if I was starting. I do have a few extra accounts, and it’s been pretty mediocre since there at the spot where they can’t do events, but just out of the complete beginning. I also think that you should bring out more characters that are rarer in the shops that aren’t as used. Putting rare characters in the ultra credits shop would be nice, as it is hard to get the credits. I disregarded the nemesis event a while back, and now that I have archangel I can’t get him anywhere, so it’s been hard to get characters like him. I also think mega orb events would be great. I’ve been stuck on 1798 mega orb fragments for so long, and an event happened where I got 200 of them, and now I’m stuck at 1998. I’ve gotten a mega orb since then, but most things give you multiples of 2000, so I’m always stuck at this. Many of the review are saying how the updates are bad, but if it gets too fast paced then it won’t be as fun, as you would just get many low star people(if you can unlock them) who wont be able to do anything later. I believe that you guys are going at the right pace, just think a few things could be edited to make it slightly better.

Why Aren’t you the developers looking at our reviews. I have seen a lot of reviews on this game but I have seen mostly bad and tbh I really don’t wanna give out bad vibes but most are about bugs and developers just giving out customer care links and am thinking do you guys actually own the app I mean first I have not seen any reviews saying “Oh thanks for fixing the bug”or “thanks for finally looking at our reviews “ I think you guys should look at our reviews like mine and other peoples I mean I have tried to play the game but every-time it would always say 13% and if it moved to 14% then it would kick me out. Honestly I think we all want to play but you guys don’t start looking at our reviews then some of us might just look for new proper working games I mean I getting tired of just trying to play the game I mean just answer my review like “do this or try that” but never I have I once seen a response like that only here’s our link to customer service like if they do that to mine ima just quit I. Bet they don’t even look they just put “here put all your problems here and we’ll check it they and will never respond again cause we’re to lazy” like please do something I want to play the game it looks so fun I have only seen the video while downloading it but never have I ever have been able to play the game without a problem or bug or have to give a bad review.

Must spend money. I have been playing this game for years. I am the leader of a group. But it is painful obviously that you cannot do well without spending money. And they just keep changing the game. The only way to judge a team is by their power level which is garbage, I routinely get beaten by groups with 100k less power than me. And if they have Ultron or Phoenix you might as well quit the fight as they are so over powered it doesn’t matter who you bring. But let me give you an example I have an Iron fist that I have been looking for 1 part to raise their tier for over a year. It doesn’t come in drops, can’t get it from orbs, and I found 1 of the multiple I need. But I can buy the exact amount I need for $29 in one of their packages. Without that part my team isn’t strong enough to finish further missions that I need to beat to get more parts so I can do other missions. So bottom line, you will not beat this game or even be in the contention for it unless you are willing to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on upgrades. One of my players even did a test using their red star generator to see how much it would cost to buy 1 team up to all maxed red stars. It would have been over a million dollars. I understand that the game is here to make money. But if you put in the time, effort and strategy you will never get to the top tiers of this game.

FTP goodluck. This review comes from someone who loves and enjoys this game and wishes it to be better. Unfortunately scopley have turned this game into a huge cash grab and care not for the little guy or free to play player. At this point in this games tenure while money offers have always been a thing, the rate at which they bring out more and more macro transactions is scummy and out right a slap in the face to this entire community whilst making events for new characters incredibly hard to a certain extent for players to obtain without spending some kind of money. While this community can be very whiney at times sometimes about the dumbest stuff, when certain problems arise that actually do matter, scopley just doesnt really care and continues to put out trash offers and events thats puts a tremendous strain on how players need to go about playing this game if they even want the slightest chance of staying relevant. Playing this game with all its characters, game modes, different events, joining alliances and making connections and friends is great but if youre a new player trying to decide whether or not to pick this up at the time of me writing this review, id skip out for a couple months and maybe come back when the game isnt basically trying to shove $100 offers down your throat to get good and fun characters. And if you plan on spending money on this game then come on in the waters nice and warm for yuh.

If you want to be competitive, prepare to spend thousands!. No seriously. This game is a pure cash grab. There is no balance or strategy to move up the leaderboards. Want to know the secret. Spend, spend, spend! New character coming out that will upset and replace the current meta? Better get a head start on farming that character by paying for the two $50 packs that net you a portion of the shards to unlock and a bunch of orbs with a “chance” to hit a big one and get the other half. And that’s just for 2-4 stars. You have to max them out to 7 stars because at some point, that character will be a requirement to unlock the next meta-must-have. And then you have to gear them up. But you probably don’t have the materials and/or gold to max them out. No worries, you can spend some more money to fill in the gaps. This cycle never ends. Free to play players? Sorry, you’re drop fed stuff over months to years unless you’re really lucky and manage to get some great shards from orb openings. Bottom line, you have to Pay to Win in this game. Arena (PVP) is dominated by the exact same team comps. And you probably don’t have Black Bolt, Phoenix, Mister Sinister and Ultron because that would require you to have bought into a ton of other characters that were all low drop rate events that required money to get the characters to the 7 stars needed to max out the next set of required characters to get to the ones you really wanted.

great game. I started this game with pretty high expectations, and it definitely met them for the first couple days. The graphics and mechanics are fun, and the community is relatively friendly. With an abundance of materials, it felt good to speed through the first 20 or so levels, and it felt like the game would continue to give me what I needed to train and gear up my characters. I spent my over 500k amounts of gold and my training materials relatively carelessly, until I hit level 30ish. I ran out of gold and training materials, and in order to equip one piece gear to my same few characters that I started out with, I had to spend all my campaign energy. I found myself frustrated at the game, thinking it was another play to win. But once I got past the roadblock of level 30-38 or so, the game started picking up again, and I was enjoying it more than ever, once I started picking up other characters (there’s no need to pay in this game, I did not, the deals are definitely not worth your money). Like a lot of the other reviews say, this is not your typical pay to win marvel game. I recommend this game to everyone who’s willing to be a little patient for a couple days.

Could of easily been a 5 star game.. Due to this game always being super buggy, and since the last update that keeps me from using WiFi. I am going to have to give this (1 Star). I’ve been playing this game for almost a year. I’m almost at max level with almost the whole roster of characters unlocked. So yes I’ve enjoyed it. Can this be fun? Absolutely it can be, and super addicting too. But the devs are lazy and greedy. Also the lack of customer support is frustrating and disappointing, as they will often ignore most issues. This game will mess up any character development with serious lag issues that will cause the game to do things that you may not want to. And resources are very scarce, unless you decide to pay the overpriced pay to win offers. Even if you decide to pay for stuff. Beware as this game seems to bait you into using your resources without you wanting to. When there are sales, drop rates become nonexistent. So if you don’t mind using up all your data due to game breaking bugs that (won’t let you use WiFi) on a data hungry app. This game may be for you. If you don’t mind losing valuable resources due to buggy issues that don’t get addressed, then play, it’s a lot of fun. If you like making in app purchases that have no value. Then by all means you won’t have any issues. Until this game becomes stable, and has the game breaking bugs fixed. I will give it the 5 stars it deserves. Sad to say it has to get 1 star.

Developing issues remain unaddressed. Have been playing the game for little over 2 years. In past several months the developers seem to be missing the mark on several key issues and also not addressing issues voiced by the community. Newer and mid-game players are basically screwed and cannot in current form recommend for anyone new to start the game. Catch up mechanics are needed and access to ways of building up characters are much needed(gear, gold, etc). I am unable to build up any of the newer characters to decent enough levels to be playable and they remain on the shelf with no reason to spend money on these characters as would still not be useable. The red star system needs an SOS. Understand the initial idea, though with newer game modes requiring red stars even to enter then there has to be some way of getting them...which is currently basically a lottery system. So if you are lucky, then you may enter, if not, then tough luck and hope you get lucky next time commander. Overall disappointed in developers inability to have a proper growth model for the game and current developer perspective seems quite short-sited. If issues are addressed and can see a way forward am more than willing to change my review to the 4-5 star level where it previously was.

This game is like a second job. Game is great when you first start out very intoxicating but once the newbie free stuff runs out it’s bottleneck bottleneck bottleneck the devs don’t test new content and when updates come game is always buggy and freezes when new characters are given boosted chances red stars orbs which is a type of boost even if they are listed as there they are potentially not there and to put into perspective the game only gives you 7 orbs a week and each and with this system you are likey to pull duplicate pulls, on tops of bugs and the stupid red star system you have to fight the devs they purposely move legendary characters around so you don’t have time to farm required toons for said legendary and they manipulate the drops so certain toons don’t show up in in game currency stores and the drop rates on campaign are manipulated as well and last but certainly not least, THE OFFERS I’ve never played a more pay2win game in my entire life no you don’t have to pay to play but if your not bottlenecked on training mats red stars or gold they will sell you it to you for there “90% off” please don’t fall for the game like I did I’ve played it for almost 3 years now and I’ve just barely scratched the surface of crap that players complain about every week get out while you can. Oh yea I forgot to mention he fanbase is currently in talks of going on a spending strike FOR THE SECOND TIME NOW

Player unfriendly game and developer.. This game had potential. The first couple months of playing are fun, and some modes like fear the darkness are unique, but the developers are so greedy that it’s not worth playing. Almost all the progression after a certain point is stuck behind a massive paywall. The mechanics and decisions made by the developers are very anti-player. This includes but is not limited to the controversial Red Star system, the absurd superior uniques for gear once you reach G12+, the abysmal gold income compared to the insane amount of gold needed to do anything, the stealth buffs to raid nodes and bosses that constantly make content you already have on farm more difficult for the same rewards, blitz...etc. Even PvP has a dysfunctional matchmaking system which punishes alliances for being active and winning. If your alliance does well you will be matched against alliances with 30% more power and 10+ levels higher with way more stark tech. They want you to spend resources and money on boosts and refreshes to be able to compete but it’s all a sham. No matter how hard you try you will get the same rewards at the end of the season based on your alliance level, not skill or strategy. The game is notoriously full of bugs and connection issues after every update. The one positive is the presentation is very appealing, but don’t be fooled. This game will frustrate you to no end and ask you to sell your soul for mediocrity.

Fun for a while. Really fun game for a while. And I understand you have to try to stay relevant to get people to spend money but the rate they release teams like Heroes for hire. Both toons if you buy as you need a big roster to unlock with blitz (I barely make top with 11 million tcp) that they sell bundles for 50 dollars each (not counting the resources you will bottle neck on) and before the last blitz of the second character they have released a counter in infinity watch. There’s no value to spend and bottle necks of gear money and training mats if you don’t. This game used to be fun but the whole two characters farmable each month and add four new ones is too much to try to stay competitive. They also have a match making system in war to try to keep you at 50 percent win ratio. So they literally punish you for being good. 😂You won too many against similar alliances here’s a 70 million punch up. They’re cheap on compensation. I personally spent a dozen orbs on trying to pull red stars for multiple man and due to their mistake of not putting him in as advertised and stated I’m in game mail. They gave back 20 percent of those orbs and said sorry try again. Shady practices constant blitzes. I used to spend regularly to support the devs. With all the bugs I don’t spend a penny and am only still here for my friends I made

Best phone game ever, but still has its flaws.. I have been playing this game since Beta, and I am a huge fan. I love Marvel and really all things comic book related, and this game is truly a great tribute to the characters who make up those stories. The game has raids, wars, arena battles and many other game modes, all of which are fun and unique in their own way, but this game is not without flaws. The devs are greedy in so many ways, often asking too much for characters. Lazy, as they often release characters who are essentially just a copy of another but with a different skin. And worst of all, the customer service is so bad they run more people off through trying to fix issues than they do fix them. This game has the potential to be game of the year every year, but due to several issues it finds itself often in a hot seat with players because the developers rarely communicate well or fix anything. Every new team isn’t a fresh idea but rather they just make the stats so much higher than the last team that there’s no beating the new one. They’re always grossly overpowered for a while until they make a new one. No one is ever nerfed and it leads to the team you invested in just 2 months back being irrelevant before long. As I said, this game has the potential to be so great, but I think they need to have a monthly sit down with their biggest players and hear some ideas and actually listen to their ideas.

Scopely inspired spiral. This game is like most phone apps. You can choose FTP, spend a little or spend a lot. Heavy dose of frustration mechanics with the fix often being sold as slot machine “surprise mechanic” offers. This is a Marvel game with no Marvel story. Unrelated characters are required to unlock top characters with the nonsensical “stories” written to fit whatever they are trying to sell at that particular moment. Bottlenecks on top of bottlenecks with increased speed of character releases making the logjam for gear and gold increasingly worse. Then there is the red star system...worst game mechanic I’ve ever seen. Whether you grind out or buy a character, the character’s viability is completely dependent on a random red star mechanic. You spend $100, I spend $100 we both unlock Character X. You get 5 red stars, I get 2. You can use your character is almost any game mode. Mine is stuck on the bench due to RNG despite having spent the same amount of time or money. Love the game. Love marvel (the Marvel relationship seems to be nothing more than character skins) but it’s starting to feel more and more like an abusive relationship. Absolutely can not recommend this game for new players. Fix your game Scopely.

Struggle. It is quite a struggle to be playing this game. The main thing they have going for them is the Marvel IP. The animations and art are beautiful to see and gameplay seems like it calls for clever thinking and strategizing. However is all this worth still playing a game that has become such a tough pill to swallow? They have gotten more and more restrictive. The tactical gameplay has given way to “cookie-cutter” teams that don’t function properly unless you have invested all in into all five characters - no substitutions allowed! There is a constant time sink that is not fun, but feels like a chore - I mean I like games, I don’t mind grinding for hours if it is enjoyable, I’ve done that before on other games, just not this one. The game also is riddled with bugs, issues, mistakes. They will address these in a split second if it benefits the players, but if it hurts us, it clearly isn’t a priority. Asking the support desk for help is also a lost cause... Their bosses have their hands grasped so tightly around support staff members’ necks (it’s actually something else but let’s keep it PG and say neck) that they are scared to fix anything and reimburse lost resources. There is a template response that you get that thanks me and “assures” me that my concern will be passed on to the developers. I don’t know what to do with this game anymore. I had quit once before, maybe it’s time to do that again

Getting Over the Top. So my biggest complaint is the whole Magic stats in battle, my gear 12 Black Spider; 33k stronger than my opponents tier 10 at best was slower than theirs?! Makes no sense. Most team compositions make no sense. The Blitz Sim should be available at 55 at best; Due to the mass amounts of XP needed to level up. How about Finishing some of the incomplete teams. Characters with an event story should have their shards only available through events and they should do 1 event story on the 2nd week of every month. Bring back Character specific Raids. Either lower the gold and level module cost or give out more... because you are sucking the life out of your community. Alliance Donation points should allow you to upgrade war rooms and effects and even hold more members in alliance. If Iron Man is a legendary; Captain America should be. He should summon 1 missing Avenger as an Ultimate Skill and Taunt as a second Skill and Shield Throw as his other. Passively He should Inspire(Give Energy to Non-Summoned Avenger Allies every turn) and gain more block as his HP decreases. Bring more Synergies(Team Attacks) like the avengers have none. Now the good, they have dumbed down the offer spam thank god, the story is fairly original and has a lot of comedy(Scientist Supreme is Roast Master lol), constantly releasing new Characters( which is kinda a double edged sword cause older 1s get ignored like the Hand). Real Time arena is kinda nice.

Was great not so much anymore. After playing this for a very long time it’s almost become annoyingly tedious. The game used to make you want to unlock special big name characters like magneto. Now anytime they release some new barely known character they are so amped up in power that it’s lost any appeal. They are trying to force all long term players into buying crappy new characters rather than understanding why people wanted the game to begin with. The game started with fair moderation and now seems like everything has a new money aspect instead. They even handed out millions of in game currency which I thought was a nice surprise because to level up any character can bankrupt you just to find out it’s an error and they reset the game. Which I’m not going to hold against them if it’s an error so be it however making 8 nobody cares to know characters every month as opposed to a new rare occasion is getting silly. Only because they decide to change the dynamics of all the set ups you already had. I have no issues with keeping things interesting but it should make sense and a character with only a gun or sword shouldn’t be stronger than one of the most powerful mutants. If every new characters beats out every old one it’s a slap in the face of all the people that put time and money into your game for years. So long as they make more cash they sure don’t seem to care though

Could be Great. I am so discouraged… I have played this game since day one and never missed a day. This game could be so much fun if the developers weren’t so greedy and actually cared about their player base. The only way to succeed in this game is if you pay, well guess what I am done paying for anything in MSF. If you can’t treat your players with respect and fairness why should I ever give you my money. The biggest problem with this game (other than the insane prices) is the fact that they keep making outrageous decisions. First it’s the fiasco with leaderboard cheating and then they double down and make more leaderboards, then insane month long events for three months in a row that the average player cannot complete, and now finally the “Summer of Thunder” blunder that allowed some people to get free month long milestone rewards and keep them but make everyone else work a full month to maybe get them! It is amazing how much the developers don’t want to please their player base. I hope someone from the development team reads this because I want them to know that; when a player is happy and having fun they will be more willing to spend money. I actually am starting to think that the developers want to ruin this game and make people quit. I hope they start turning things around, it could be an amazing game if better decisions were made for this game and for the players.

Something needs to change. I have played this game for over 1000 days. There was a release recently that there was a purchasing exploit and people were able to bypass everyone in the game and get one of the strongest characters in the game. The exploit not only works for this character but it is apparently an issue that had been known so people have been able to severely “hack” the game, yes they use their wallet but the exploit bypassed the limits the developers put on offers. There were several other release issues and several attempts to correct this mess of a release and I personally did not know of the original issue and that I paid more for the character because I did not buy the character as soon as it was released and they increased the price and added something not worth the value to try and “correct” the issue. Had I known I would NOT have bought the two offers... if it sounds confusing and hard to follow that sums up the issues that this game has. I love marvel but until this and other severe issues get fixed I can only say buyer beware if you plan on spending on a collectors game such as this which is a shame because the artists and overall game designers do a wonderful job. I will adjust my review if things change.

How can this game be a 4.6 overall on the store with the recent issues?. I am a long time player of this game and can’t believe what I am seeing. There is a huge push in the community to give appropriate reviews for how bad the lack of attention to detail has gotten and yesterday was the last straw. To have to take the game down for 6 hours because you were giving players out hundreds of millions in gold to their accounts makes no sense. I have played other hero collector games and have never seen anything close to the incompetence shown yesterday. Scopely/Boundless/Foxnext/Whatever you want to be called today should be ashamed for how poorly you develop your game and expect your player base to remain intact even though the screw ups are daily. There is a lot to love about this game, but like many around me, most players are just waiting for the next game to hit the street in order to leave. I am not one to write reviews on anything, but this had to be done because with the current fervor being shown in the community, there is no way the satisfaction level for the product that is in place meets, or exceeds the average being shown on the Apple Store. Make the rating accurate so that new players can expect more from the developer who has seen an increase in profits due to the pandemic and not due to the quality of development of their game.

I’ve been playing for two years. This game has kept me entertained for a while. They keep adding new characters and teams, they’ve been consistent with delivering new content, and they keep it interesting. I have invested a few dollars in the game just because I want to support it, and occasionally there are deals to be had with shards.. certain one-off deals, for instance, 50 shards of a decent character for $1.99. Otherwise, I’m not the type that’s going to shell out $15 at a time, or more. Throw more reasonable deals at me and I’ll spend more. Like Costco. lol. Volume. Anyhow, I like the alliance feature a lot. I’ve found a good one that expects you to keep up to a certain point but doesn’t expect it to be like a second job. We progress together and we don’t go insane in the process. There are all sorts of alliances, some have really high expectations and some don’t. Mine is somewhere in the middle. Favorite characters in the game: Minn-erva, Black Bolt, Phoenix, Ultron, Thor, Hela, Black Panther, Star Lord, Magneto, Symbiote Spider-Man, Venom, Shuri, Captain Marvel, War Machine... I love finding other combinations of characters to use that syngergize outside of their intended teams. Favorite teams, though, outside of that: Asgardians, Hydra (for war defense), Symbiotes (can’t wait for Anti-Venom to complete it), and Power Armor. Great game.

Good game, greed frustrating me. Hooked me early on. Enjoyed variety of things to do without overload I felt attempting to play Summoners Souls (?) and the like. Felt like this would require less time. Seems to suffer (my opinion) from the usual issues. Comparing team power suddenly becomes pointless. Your team can have a team power of 2000+ who you are fighting and yet the other team wipes the floor destroying everyone and you are lucky if you take down one of them. Plenty of defenders of this by fanboys, but if certain character abilities, rank, tier level make them much more powerful than the norm, but do not reflect well in the power level. Don’t think that’s is the way things should be personally. Fans will say, you need to play characters A, B, C and can point you to probably Wikis explaining the REAL info. I shouldn’t have to do that. Sorry, just my opinion. And where is the fun in having a huge selection of characters if the solution is just to play a certain few to excel? Balanced teams should be designed such that they have an advantage over stuff like 2 tanks and all brawlers or whatever. Anyway, going to keep playing for fun, just frustrated it gets progressively harder to progress/unlock due to design. Also, can’t prove it, but after early release, really seems the RNG has been nerfed for some.

Stay away. It’s corporate greed, the game.. Seriously. You take an awesome game and concept and monetize it to the point of unethical exploitation of those with gambling addictions and ignorant youth. At every turn are various loot boxes. There are dozens if not hundreds of loot boxes. The pinnacle of gameplay, raids, drop currency to, you guessed it, open more loot boxes. But of course, you have to spend premium currency to even get that far. Let’s take the latest raid, Thanos. Timely because of the movie. Tier 1 is level 25. Now you’d think that level 40+ characters would tread through the content. They do everywhere else. But no, even though the power level, which is a combination of hero level, gear, and ability level, is thousands of points higher, you’ll wipe. And it’s not even close. The numbers mean nothing. Why? Because to continue in with the raid, FoxNet wants you to use premium currency to heal. You were threading a line before in most of the game, now you are blatant in the cash grab. And that’s what it’s all about. It’s a game about money for investors. Not the customers. I have no problems purchasing a game or generally finding a fun game. I will not support an unethical corporate greed game.

Enjoyable but Incredibly Expensive Free Download. For a free download, it’s really enjoyable at first. The graphics and motion really capture the essence of the characters. You can tell the guys are real fans of the comics. For a short while it’s easy to progress through the ranks, but after a while, it takes an awfully long time to rank up or obtain new characters. That is unless you are willing to pay$$. I understand that they are in business to make money, but Holy Moly! The prices the want for these characters/orbs is unbelievable. I cannot fathom someone would be willing to pay $99 for an extra character and some XP. Sheesh, my first car only cost $200. I don’t see me spending the same amount on a Special Offer just to take a chance on getting the orbs I need to progress, that I could to buy another a game that doesn’t make me spend more money to progress through the game. So I will be patient and miss out on characters and events that they offer but are only achievable by spending an excessive amount of money. Here’s an idea... lower the price of those “Special Offers” to about a buck or two and watch the money roll in as players try to advance all the way through.

Whales will love this. Being a continuous player of this game for almost 1,000 days now, I found myself grinding for long parts of the day to collect materials and gold to rank up previously released characters. My roster has built to where I only need one character (doom) that is acquired through a game mode called “dark dimension 4”. I have spent copious amounts of dollars trying to keep up with the newest characters, which is my fault for supporting a game that is “free to play”, but somehow turned into “pay to win”. If you are looking for a game that is highly competitive and fun, this is it. But player beware, this game turns into a pay to win for you at a particular part in the game. Scopley’s prices are so outrageous, and their ways of earning the top tier rewards forces you to spend large amounts of money to get close to top tier rewards. They also tend to release at least 4 new characters almost every month that not only cost about $25 at the least, it also drains all your materials and gold to rank them up. That’s where they throw offers at you to buy and restock. Or you could just grind for another month to gain a fraction back. The game is very fun and was greater before money started becoming an issue, but if you have the time to stay on your phone and don’t have a job, I’m sure you can grind your way to the top.

Great game, if you’re willing to spend hundreds of dollars. This game could be the best app game out there, it has great challenges, good graphics, there are always new events/challenges & the character list is huge. But once you play for a while it becomes very clear you can’t advance past a certain level without having to buy items. They are really sneaky with how they do it but there are many aspects that will require real money. It’s incredibly disappointing how much they try to trick you into buying stuff. The worst part is how ridiculous the prices are for the item you need, it can literally cost you hundreds just to get certain characters or to advance them past a certain point. The biggest annoyance & way they try scam you is the number of gold/upgrade materials you need to advance characters, they give you a tiny amount of these things during game play so it would take multiple years to get all the characters powered up. They do a lot of sneaky things all trying to trick you into spending money, they don’t care at all about the players satisfaction or enjoyment of the game - every single thing in this game is just a ploy to get you to buy ridiculously overpriced items. So if you’re rich & don’t mind throwing hundreds of dollars to a greedy corporation who doesn’t give a F about you or being fair to its players then this game is for you. But if that’s no you, I wouldn’t waste your time. The game is all a big scam

We want to love this game. I’ve been playing this game for almost a year and have have spent some money on the game, maybe $100, because I was really enjoying the game. But right now I would take back that money if I could. Right now the game is in a bad spot and the devs don’t really seem to care. There are multiple bottlenecks that stop free to play players from progressing quickly unless they spend money. For one of the game modes, blitz, new players are pitted against people that have been playing this game since it first came out and there is no way to compete. In that game new characters will come out and unless you are a top player or spend thousands of dollars to get ahead it’s almost not even worth playing. Gear and training materials are difficult to get so you hoard those materials and can’t level up your whole roster like you want to. Any time a bug comes out that benefits the player it is fixed within hours but bugs that mess up the game or hinder the player are left unchecked for multiple months or longer. There are countess other issues currently and the entire player base really wants this game to be good but the devs really need to step it up. If you are interested in learning more before playing this game check out the marvel strike force subreddit or watch some of the youtubers that play this game. We just want it to be fun again.

Such a greedy company. It’s ok to charge for things, that’s capitalism. But seriously, even people who spends a hundred thousand (yes there are those!) are still limited in what they can do. That sounds fine on paper right? Rich people spending their way to higher levels, but now compare that with a young kid who just wants to play their favorite hero. No chance. The game is designed to force a specific progression pattern over the long term. There are at least 20 different systems to keep track of, each impacting the other in a mind boggling way. I enjoy some of the strategy, but there is nothing a person can do to “get better” at the game other than spend money or grind. There’s no creativity, you can’t just pick heroes or villains to build your ideal team that you’ve always dreamed of because they won’t work well together, that’s by design. If it’s not the marketed version of MSF designed teams, which require a longggg amount of play time or a lot of money to obtain, then their synergies and complementary actions don’t work together. If you want to play, just make a promise to yourself not to buy “just this once”.... you won’t stop, and that’s how it’s designed. Be strong, play for a bit each day, don’t obsess. Or you’ll walk away frustrated and broke, and then come back yet again when a new character is released next week and it starts all over again.

No support. This is a game that requires spending quite a bit of money if you want to keep up. I really enjoy this game, but their customer support is callous in their attitude as they rip you off. Their new web portal has opened up, giving you a new venue to spend money with them. They charge on their own website with this method which allows them to charge you directly without having to go through ApplePay or AndroidPay. This maximizes their profit. Their enticement to get you to spend this way is in giving you vast bonuses by using the web portal. I decided to drop $50 on this silly little free game because of the amount of extras offered when spending in this new manner. Their system glitched and told me that I needed to purchase the offer I wanted in-game. I contacted customer “support” several times to tell them that I wanted to purchase my offer vie the web portal for the extra bonuses, not in-game. They repeatedly told me I’d have to purchase it in-game first. I did, then asked if I could be compensated the extras “Web UPCs” that I was promised for dropping $50. They simply kept repeating “purchase it in-game first”. When I informed them that I had and that I just needed the extras, they promptly told me that they gave me all the advice that they were going to give me. They already told me to make the purchase in-game and we’re not prepared to address the matter any further. The long and short if it is this, MSF will not support its players who spend money.

Was a great game, now nauseating. This game was amazingly fun and utterly addicting and enticed you to spend money on the offers, probably more than your wallet really allowed fore. But they just implemented a new patch to the gameplay where the camera zooms in on every characters movements at 3x speed. This in turn, causes the camera to jump around the screen at high speed and inducing motion sockness rather quickly, making the game nearly unplayable. This xoom to emphasize the characters abilities and attack CGI was originally only during normal speed gameplay, but now it’s on ALL speeds. Not only does it induce nausea and motion sickness, but now it’s also incredibly hard to track what’s actually happening with the progression of the battle or change to a different priority target. You can’t play at normal speed when playing Arena, Raid, or War modes because you only get 5 minutes to complete the matchup or you’ll timeout, so you’re forced to play at 3x speed, but this new system wrecked it. They took an amazing game and literally ruined it, by trying to improve something that wasn’t broken and was already performing beyond well. I spent quite a bit of money on the offers and would’ve continued, but now I can’t play or enjoy the game anymore. Way to ruin a good thing devs. At least give us the option in settings to tuen that ridiculousness off. I mean, it’d only be the sensible thing to do. You gave us the option to turn off alliance invites... good bye fun time waster.

From a great game to a classic money grabber. The game started out great where FTP players can actually progress and keep up, even rise to the top. However with changing metas and new characters coming out often it’s now the opposite. The events are nearly impossible to find enough success to unlock the characters. For example, the Nick Fury event. You have to farm minions, strictly minions, that are trash and spend crazy amounts of time and resources just to prepare for the event. And what’s worse is that Foxnet gives you a chance to buy orbs which will help you rank up the required minions and don’t even guarantee that they will drop. Maybe .01% of the players can unlock him, even less. And Nick Fury will be a meta changing character which those who have him will be on top at every part of the game. It’s quite sad seeing a good game with huge potential end up being no different from any other greedy company, even worse. I was a dedicated player who logged in more than 6 times a day just to complete the daily missions/cooldowns, one of the top in my arena ranking, always one of the top damage dealers in raids in a top 100 alliance, and even achieved top 500 many times for the blitz events, but I couldn’t take it anymore as I saw myself fall behind with each passing day just because I wasn’t willing to give Foxnet undeserved money just to keep up. Feels good to quit, feels bad to have seen the direction this game went.

Best mobile game ever. I’ve been playing this game since the beta phase. And I’m still playing it because they are always putting out new characters and events. I love building teams in raid and Blitz. There is always a top meta game/meta team but I find lots of enjoyment in using my whole roster in blitz, raid and Wars! I’m free to play and may be one of the few grateful for all the whales and other pay-to-play players. They mean I can play this game for free. Am I a few steps behind them, yes. But I’m cool with that, they spent lots of money because they can’t wait. I do all my daily achievements and play in events and know what Base point I need for good rewards in blitz so I honestly am in great shape. If you want to be free to play and are incapable of planning and doing resource management, the. This game is not for you. But most of my guild mates are F2P like me and loooove this game. The only complaint I have is the the red star promotions which seem arbitrary. I’ve seen some reviews crying a river about money, bugs, or devs not caring. Bunch of crybabies that are self-entitled. The devs are working and listening to the community, since I started they have made so many good changes. I have no issue with the money end side of things, and bugs get sorted out. Love marvel comics, love this game that portrays them so well.

Avoid if you enjoy value. I have been playing this game since launch and for a long time I was able to advance at a good pace for almost no spend, now over the last few months everything new they bring out is either behind a paywall or the resources are so rare you need to spend to keep up. At this point the game has stopped being fun and it’s the friendships I’ve developed that keep me playing but we are dropping like flies. It’s clear the developers do not care about its players and only about their profits and while I understand it’s a business for them and they want us to spend money they could at least give us value for our money. This was a great game and can be again but for now avoid it

Entertaining game. To be honest, yes, the cost prices can be high to buy characters and you have the right to complain about it. Simple fix, don’t waste your money on unnecessary items. You can earn what you need in the game and there is really no excuse to complain. The game has a lot of entertaining game modes and doesn’t deserve hate. It is a game for everybody and allows you to unlock cool things without spending money. Lastly, it is imperative you give the game time because the developers are constantly working on it and giving you rewards every time they fix a bug. Ignore the hate and keep grinding Marvel Strike Fore development team.

Expensive add ons, unachievable content and endorsing shady social media influenced. I used to really love this game. However in the past month: - social media influencer with a sketchy history with crypto currency scams found to have been given huge advantages in game over player base , hidden from players since release - content released that requires synergy from entire alliance for 2 hours making it unachievable for most guilds (must be same timezone) - huge increase in cost of in app purchases - huge negative changes to game modes that promote poor health and Sleep due to needing to be online every 2 hours to compete - scaled back rewards in raids/blitz content with supposed “balancing “ content still unavailable - groups split within game where some players are given significantly better offers or in the case of the wasp event (node 1-9), some players have an impossible to beat node while others are given a very easy one directly effecting rewards This game doesn’t reward players who spend, it rewards at random. Parts of the marketing are misleading and the direction of the game has changed significantly since beta and launch. My advice is to stay away from spending any money on this game until you have read that the developer has headed in a positive direction which based on my current interactions with their customer service team will not be soon

Scopely and boundless are predatory. Milestone rewards cannot be achieved free to play. You cannot achieve even the last third of the milestone without spending….. How? The new limit caps…. Playing the actual game will only get you so far, once you reach the gameplay cap the rest of the milestones can only be achieved by spending in game currency.. and how do you get in game currency? Well, we used to get a lot of it through daily and monthly milestones but they have slowly taken that from us and think we don’t know because we are idiots… no, you have to spend.. and spend a lot… I used to be a $500 a month player.. I’m now close to free to play and I’ve dropped from a 200 alliance to a 2000.. this game is not ashamed to be disgustingly money driven almost to the point of hating their player base.

Great game coming apart because of poor QA. Long time player - thoroughly enjoy playing. How we the past couple of months have really taken the shine off things. Huge number of bugs that they continually “compensate” the player base for, some fundamentally broke some of the basics like “where is this item / character I need & want to farm?” Scopely talk about wanting to create a great experience, their experience philosophy is push as much stuff out the door, as fast as is possible, with no QA/testing process. If this was any other IP the game would’ve been shuttered by now.

Fun when it isn’t crashing. I really enjoy the missions and level up characters. However, I’m now stuck on one campaign as every time I try to start this mission it crashes the whole game. This has happened at least 8 times. This will also happen on random missions or just when switching between menus. I’ve tried lowering the quality of fights but I can find a way to stop this game crashing. I’d only recommend if, for some reason, you can stop the game from crashing constantly. Update: I’ve recently been crashing as soon as a missions starts. Meaning I am losing campaign and raid energy with no chance to win or lose the mission.

Actual advice for the creators. Don’t get me wrong this game is actually surprisingly good compared to other marvel games but to upgrade characters can be too expensive when you reach a certain point in the game and the pricing for things is ridiculous. The prices should be cut in half, eg from 80 to 40 dollars. At least then there is more of a chance that people will spend money on the game, meaning overall the games income will increase. This wouldn’t only be a great profit increase but also a player increase as a lot of people have stopped playing the game because of the pricing and the amount that upgrading characters becomes.

I played all sorts of these types of games that are (free) to play but your stuck behind a paywall and pretty much can’t progress unless you spend money, or you can’t get the items/characters you want because once again you can only spend money to unlock them....I honestly thought this was another but I was greatly wrong. By doing my daily’s and just playing the game I have unlocked a ton of characters and have heaps of items I have only spent money once and that was because I just didn’t want to wait one more day to get my character. These devs are always making updates and the one time that I had a problem it was fixed almost instantly. It’s a great game from a team that seems to care about its player base

Really enjoy it BUT. Really been enjoying this game so I decided to drop some money on it and buy black panther. Not only did I spend $80 AUD and not receive black panther but I haven’t heard anything from their support team in regards of either refunding the money or giving me what I paid for. Edit in response to developer: Responded to the support team, issue not resolved and I am not happy that I lost $80 and didn’t receive what I payed for. I have never been emailed a purchase receipt (not even today when I bought power cores) so I really hope you guys resolve my issue because this is an amazing game and I am happy to support it with buyable content but if $80 miraculously went missing when I purchased black panther then I no longer will support this game.

This game is nothing but a giant cash-grab. The concept of this game is great and I’ve had it since day 1. But unfortunately this has progressively become more and more of a game designed push out the free-to-play player. Basically you’ll get to a point fairly early on where you hit a wall and you will not get over that wall unless you pay more and more and more. Admittedly the developers have added in more interesting reward systems which have been needed for a long time. But in reality, every update has just been a new way for the developers to try and trick players into thinking they can progress without emptying their wallets. I want this game to be great but sadly the developers only seem to care about the cash and have no awareness of the fact that this is a game that’s supposed be here for everyone to enjoy, not just the cash-whales.

I love it. It is an amazing game, easy to play. I don’t pay any money and have still achieved a lot. The only issues are how easy it is to run out of gold and power cores (but that is also easy to regain), how long it takes to unlock some characters, the unlikely odds of orbs and how to be the strongest and unlock and strengthen all characters, you need to pay money. There are also a few glitches here and there. Other than that it is a great game and I highly recommend it. I would also like to add, there are no ads :)

Good game but... I really enjoy the game as it looks great and plays well. Fairly simple mechanic to collect and upgrade heroes with more releases over time so it’s not too much too soon. My main gripe the astonishing price of any in app purchases. I’d happily support the game I play every day but the cheapest releases are $15, with any decent characters going up to $80! That more than some console games! And they don’t even come with gear or gold to level them up. So I’ll continue to stay on my f2p slog, as it plays just fine.

These Orbs are getting annoying.... I absolutely love this game and I’m so excited for the brotherhood, but there are a few characters that are way to hard to obtain, like BLACK WIDOW!!! People say she is one of the best characters in the game, and I agree that means she needs further reaches to obtain, so I think she should be in like Nexus 6-9, instead of $80 or the expensive orbs, I love mystique so i pushed and managed to get her in 3 days of her release in the campaign, which was reasonable and not ridiculous, I really love this game but it needs to be more fair for free to play players, thankyou xx

Mobile Experience. Played this game for 1000+ days, but the only reason I play this is for the Marvel IP.... However thats not a good reason for Scopely to turn something mildly fun into a plan to squeeze every last cent out of me. The offers are insanely expensive (always x % off and a blatant sales tactic), ‘events’ that are tied into spending, the give and take is mostly give (wouldnt fix Thor hammer bug but happily fix an offer if it hurts their bottom line), the constant shifting of the goal posts (oh hey your meta team is now useless, here is a new meta which costs a small fortune), and now with the Silver Surfer offer pulled early and then released at DOUBLE the price its gone too far. Why is this behaviour allowed on the app store or by disney/marvel? If they make everyone money then who cares..?

Don’t bother. Playing this game since 2 weeks after global launch and been a reasonably high spender for the past 2 years. I’ve enjoyed this game up until the last 6 months. The company behind this game is not good. They are not interested in developing a good, fun game that values progress or it’s player base. Every decision they make is about how they can manipulate you into giving them money. The game is consistently buggy, the offers are bordering on scams (if not actual scams). Not only do their offers lie or falsely advertise, but the communication to the community is not accurate. I am essentially done supporting this game financially, I don’t think they deserve/earned my money. Even if someone loved MARVEL, I could not recommend they play this game (either as a spender or a free to play). This game and this company needs a lot of work.

Worst game ever. I’ve been playing for 3 years and my account been permanently banned which is because I was fooling around with bunch of players and giving them food nicknames based on where they r from. It’s not nice to give nicknames and I do deserve to get punished but I don’t deserve to get permanently banned for this. The conversation wasn’t even serious. And the customer service claimed that my food nicknames that given to players that I familiar with was Racial slur. What a bull. I also got permanently banned which is to talk about the issue in official discord. They want me dead for good. You know that they r just bunches of bullies that act like baby. I don’t know what about you but this is a shame for Scopely and Marvel. From today. I’m no longer a Marvel fan. I hope that they get what they f k1ng deserve.

Idea for Update and It's the best no improvements. I am only here to say that I think you should be able to give alliance members some of your resources.(eg. pink flash bits) Because then if someone is trying really hard to get something limited (eg. Ragnarok Costume) and your not trying to get it the person could transfer the currency to them. P.S I'm only doing this so things are fair for people who try really hard.

Energy cap and stage count cap. Pick one or the other... why have both a energy capacity AND a play though cap on stages?? I dont get it, it doesnt make people want to spend credits to have to fill up both... Game developers need to pick one or the other and stick to it... there is nothing to do in game once you run out of energy... play through caps are fine... it keeps people in game and engaged, sure you will hit a level wall but at least playability last longer, idon’t mine recharging a level playthrough for in game currency but im not gonna spend it on time based energy... i think its single handedly the worst idea in mobile games ever... it doesnt extend playability... it kills it completely... get rid of it

Slowly degrading :(. Started off loving this game about 2 years ago but as of the past few months more and more bugs have been popping up some to the point where I can’t play and have to constantly restart. This game has a lot of potential but unfortunately they seem to only be adding to it instead of taking a moment and fix the bugs in the game. Looking at the other reviews I don’t seem to be alone and they have been around for a long time without hope of it getting better. If the mods are reading this then please for the sake of the fans and players of your game and for the sake of not losing more players to it… fix your game

Crash problems. Iv read one of the comments and I agree that the game is really good no question, but I crash when ever I attempt to do any type of campaign or blitz battle and I still loose the energy or hp on my characters like I did the mission or battle even though I crashed and I have tried uninstalling and then re-installing, and re-starting my phone several time and it has gotten to the point where the game is basically impossible for me to progress through so please fix this

Everything that is wrong with app gaming. Wrote this years ago and nothing has changed. If anything, it’s worse. Again today they are selling orbs to give event points and falsely advertising these being worth more points than they are. A quick hot fix later and they’ve corrected the instructions but no refunds are offered. Bait and switch, false advertising, whatever you want to call it. Here’s my old review below. Recently they advertised the new rewards for the chaos theory event. After managing to sell overpriced offers to the people who needed those offers to do the event, they pulled more than half the rewards citing an “error” on their end. Rightio. In any other developed marketplace in the world if a company sold something in relation to something else and then changed the payout, they’d be in breach of law and forced to refund. Not in online games though. This is the Wild West boys and girls. We are just along for the ride. Just google or go to reddit and you’ll see the underhanded and in some cases, likely in breach of your countries consumer law, actions they use.

real-time arena = apple maps. The real-time arena is like the defunct apple maps = totally useless and redundant because The game already has the daily arena function. This real-time arena is nothing like real-time. It’s so slow and tedious like you’re performing the slow motion scenes in the matrix. To make matters worse the game doesn’t allow you to forfeit the match and makes you go the match in slow motion because it doesn’t count if you forfeit the match. The match up of your opponent is buggy as hell. I once have my 100k attack team match to an opponent with over 500k team. It’s a no brainer who will win the match. I’ve played this game for over 3 years but I will stop playing if idiotic functions like the real-time arena is integrated into the game.

Pretty game but terrible design. Very pretty, very flashy, very poor design. Fairly pay to win game. Never enough daily gold or character experience or stamina to level properly unless you pay so you are under strength the whole time. Timed pvp in arena favours the defenders, and the DEfenders faction is all anyone plays while levelling in arena unless you have money, no team besides money can beat them due to poor design. Alliance wars matchmaking is garbage, based off win streaks or something, so if you randomly get matched up against dead alliances and win, eventually you will face people triple your power level, and get utterly destroyed. Over and over.

Great game. I have been playing daily since it’s launch. This game is fantastic! You don’t have to spend and still able to progress. You will be able to farm and get your characters through free play pretty much easily, just needs to be patient. If you want them quick, you might want to spend though but still, achievable through free play. Also, the good thing about this game is it doesn’t mean that even if money, you can buy the top characters. You will still need to claim your worth though the special missions.

Love to hate! Unless your a whale of course. I have been playing for a long time and aesthetically its a great game but morally it is the spawn of the devil. Insane costs to buy characters like $80 is just dumbfounding and then your drip fed energy which you will burn through in seconds then have to wait for 2 other recharges in a 24 hour time span, all this can be alleviated with money though so unless your rich don’t expect great things just frustration. The community is majorly upset with balancing issues and raids are near impossible, you need to co- ordinate 24 people to get 100% how is that fair, nobody but the top 2 or 3 alliances could complete the thanos raid and now deadpool raid gives you 2 hours to complete like what are you guys thinking? How do you get 24 people from around the world to complete it in 2 hours, the community is in outrage and its fallen on deaf ears time and time again. Your not interested in fixing anything but how to squeeze every last cent out of the main player base. Love to hate unless your a whale of course!

Unfair gameplay. After update I cannot claim webrewards without using Facebook to login. I prefer a game that I don’t need other applications to claim rewards given online, or need other apps to gain full usage of this game. Web system worked for a while and then stopped working for iPhone users. Also players can pay for power so will always be fundamentally an unfair game to on top of other issues. Super sad for a game that could be more fun if it was more fair. April 29, 2022 update Since I don’t have Facebook I still miss out on daily rewards like the new goblin queen shards, premium orbs, and other gold rewards. I contacted support and they won’t give you the rewards in any other way. They just say get Facebook. What if you are against Facebook and the data mining ? I downgraded my ranking to 1 star as their support is really poor also. Copy and paste type of responses. No actual resolution or refund of rewards. Basically useless and just for show.

Not sure why others hate it?. I’ve been playing this a little bit before Thanos was first released and I have to say... this game is amazing! The fights are strategic and the graphics and animations look great. Other people have been saying it’s a grind and the energy + level cap makes it almost impossible to play but I find it all works out pretty good, there are daily challenges you can do that help give free energy refills and arena gives you plenty of power cores every couple of hours. Overall it’s just a fun game and I would recommend to any Marvel fan.

I love this game. As the title says I really love this game but it is in a place where I wouldn’t want people to start playing because they would get no satisfaction from playing it, I’ve been playing for the better part of three years and while it had its issues under foxnext, now under scopely it’s been nothing but bugs and broken promises, as soon as there is an advantage for the player, the issue is fixed immediately, yet the issues that prevent players from even finishing content don’t even get looked at for months and even then they don’t even get fixed, the return you get for your time investment is minimal, scopely is destroying this game and it’s a shame because this game has so much potential and it can be a lot of fun; but unfortunately their greed has taken over and it shows from the player satisfaction in general, people I’ve been playing with for years are quitting which is sad but given lack of fun the game is giving I’m about ready to quit myself, Scopely for the love of god please fix your game so I don’t lose my friends in a game I love!

Predatory & money hungry operation. - Between $50 and $80 for 50 character shards which gets you to 2 of 7 stars then add red stars onto that you could spend somewhere around $300 just to get to 5 stars for one character (less than 5 stars leaves you underpowered) - $30 for gatcha orbs (loot boxes) which near every time will have the lowest amount of Shards available being 8 character shards (between 50 and 100 shards needed to unlock a character) - Cheaper 50 shard offers are ALWAYS for non meta and generally underpowered characters. - There are rarely any sub $10 "micro" transactions available. The sub $10 offers have near zero value in game. - Gold and training materials are kept beyond scarce with mountains of each required to progress with a SINGLE character while there are always options to buy more the cost is not near worth it allowing a single or less level when your trying to go from level 60 up (level 80 current cap) - This game is sadly targeting "whales" with tens or thousands of dollars needing to be spent year on year to stay with the meta. Save your money, save your time and if you have it buy yourself or your loved ones something actually worthwhile.

So cool!. This game astonished me more than expected. As soon as I started playing I loved it, because of the realism, graphics and fundamentals. I especially liked how a character in the line of fire of another targeted enemy would kneel/dodge the attack in some way. How the environment is amazing, like cars driving by and just little things like that. Random team ups and bonus attacks can occur, and the way the enemy and character interact is awesome! I thought it was so cool wheb a hero gets hit and stumbles back, it would push back any other heroes behind them. This is by far the best turn based game I’ve played.

Good fun.. I’ve played plenty of games where you hit an obvious pay wall. Not this one. It’s been five or six weeks now. Progress is gradual but certainly possible. That’s not to say you can’t have a huge advantage if you pay up. Of course you can. Still, it’s refreshing to find one of these games where you can log on each day or two, have a few matches and have fun. Most others it is either you have to devote your life to it to get by, or devote your wallet to it to progress... As a result I’ve made more in app purchases than in any other title, because I’m not forced to, and because it’s a fun game and I keep coming back. While that might seem counter intuitive to the current business models with strong pay walls, other games could learn from this.

Great premise slowly being wasted. Played a lot of similar games and when you first start this game the enjoyment level is fantastic. However, the longer you play the more you realise the game is filled with bugs without any sign of being fixed, your initial development grinds to a halt and bottlenecks in the game start to sap desire to log in and the game while still showing glimpses of potential due to the framework that they work with, the game begins to feel stale and that it’s taking advantage of the player base and their love for marvel. Hoping due to the strong base they turn it around but experience is telling me they’ll just keep repeating mistakes until something major breaks and the game shuts down.

Fun grind becoming a punish. I love Marvel and I really don’t mind grinding in a good game for years while occasionally dropping a bit of money on it to support developers to continue supporting a good product. UnfortUnately, the developers have started forcing their bad and broken ideas on players. The recent addition of the “Real time” PvP arena is an unnecessary, unbalanced steaming pile of dog s#*t. Every single match has teamed me up with an opponent at least 100% more powerful than my team. I usually avoid any of the arena sections of a game but developers insist on forcing them on players by including them in the daily challenges. I suspect this is because they know that arenas are universally hated, broken wastes of time which nobody would play if not forced to. While this game used to be very enjoyable, the enjoyment vs punishment factor is starting to tip in favour of deleting this game for good.

Great game with flaws.. This game is always good fun. The aesthetics and animations are a pleasure to watch. The progression system still has a big pay to win vibe but can be worked around if you’re okay with the grind. My only gripes are the amount of times I get stuck in the initial loading screen at 42% and then it never fully loads. Turns me off playing at all. There seems to be a heavy reliance on an internet connection that won’t suffer any interruptions, otherwise which ever game mode you’re in goes through a hard reset losing all progress. This is frustrating and should be fixed to ensure quality gameplay. Drops rates for characters could also be improved.

Scopely doesn’t care about its players or even the big spenders.. This Thanosgiving event has been an absolute dogs breakfast. This is an event currently running that would cost approximately $3000 to finish all the milestones, if you dont spend anything, there is literally no other way to get past a certain milestone. On top of this, those milestones gave orb fragments for the thanosgiving orb.. which displays some rewards have a 0% drop rate. Scopely announced that this was a visual glitch and the actual odds are 0.003% and this wasn’t displayed in the odds as this is a limitation of their game. There are other orbs in the game which show the decimal point on rewards drop rates. This is blatant disregard for any of the laws which govern the loot boxes in the games. I’ve played since the global launch over 3 years ago and this event has been the biggest spit in the face to a player base that I’ve ever seen. A nonchalant message from the community manager stating that orbs are “working as expected” whilst they are illegally displaying 0% drop rates on the top rewards is definitely not the way to go about handling the backlash from the MSF community. Scopely really needs to take a long hard look at themselves because this kind of thing has “game killer” written all over it.

Love this game but will it last?. Love this game a lot I’ve only played for 2 hours but this its really great. Everything about it is fantastic I do however have some concerns. This game is identical to marvel alliance 1 and 2 and I play those games everyday with out fail then one day I find out that both games have been closed down and I spent over 150 dollars on those games only to find out it was for nothing. 5 stars those I will recommend this game.

Great game but lots of bugs. I downloaded the latest update of this game and I’ve been constantly getting this message saying “anomaly detected” whether I try to do almost any mission. I restart the game and the same thing happens. What’s worse though is the fact that if I use campaign energy, it gets used up and I don’t receive anything. It’s not my phone because I have tried it on my iPad to

Fix game crashing. This is my favourite game on mobile maybe even in general besides FIFA. I play this game in the morning in the afternoon and at night, but the biggest problem I face is constant crashing when I’m in the campaign or during faction wars last night twice after I used visions secondary. I’ve nearly completed the heroes campaign and the crashing is making it harder then it needs as it still consumes energy

So much potential lost. Overall great game, however it has completely moved to a pay to win type game, and example of how out of touch they are is there latest event. It requires you to spend in game items to level up. To complete them each day means you have to buy them. Currently to complete for the average player it means spending about $200 a day for the 10 days. $2000 in 10 days just to compete in a mobile game is way to much. Since scopley took Over they have moved towards basically a pay to play model. Unless your a large spender maybe try a different game. To add further insult, scopley have just been caught allowing some players to use an exploit given they a massive advantage in game.

Awesome game. This game is incredible, the graphics are gorgeous, the storyline is incredible and there is new content every month. While the in game offers are way too expensive and this game is kind of pay to win, this game can easily be played as a free to play. I’ve been playing since April 2018 and I’ve never spend a dollar on this game yet I’m an endgame player. If you love the IP or love Galaxy of Heroes give this game a shot, it’s so much better in every conceivable way. 10/10

Should be 5 stars. But it’s Crashville now.. If you have the money to burn you’ll be a powerhouse. If you just want to kill time there’s plenty to keep you going. It’s a smart balance overall. And it’s way better than Star Wars or the two previous Marvel Alliance games. However after two years playing and having dozens of high level characters now the game is constantly crashing. All in game fighting, arenas, whole campaigns, blitz’s and raids are useless. The whole game went from stable to garbage in about two months. Now it’s just broken. 😞

Stuck at 14% when loading up. Game is usually amazing. However after the recent update that just happened the last two days that I have tried playing the game, the loading bar gets to 14% and stays there no matter how long I leave it for. So far because of this issue I’ve missed two days of the login calendar and other daily task rewards. Please try to fix asap. I am unable to play the game that I play daily with my alliance expecting my participation.

Some annoying errors. The game itself is good. But recently, as of the Spider verse update, my game has started to crash for no reason. Such as when playing the web headed warriors campaign, I always lag even when the dialogue happens and the bad thing is when it lags out, THE CAMPAIGN EMERGY STILL COUNTS, leaving 6 or 12 campaign energy wasted from a bug. Another time I lag is when I use certain characters abilities, such as visions second ability, when I use it in blitz the game freezes and crashes, and just like the web headed warriors, it always counts as a battle and I can’t use that team anymore unless I use that blitz money thing. So this game is good with the animation and the beautiful character designs and fun it has. But it kind of wrecks it when I experience crashes. I play on iPad mini so that might have something to do with it since it is a very old iPad version. But still I can’t play with these crashes.

Used to be good. I played this game a couple years ago. It was great. I have now reinstalled it after a two year break and on my first try I can’t even play it. Iron Man comes up saying ‘Good news Commander, Fury and I have a new way for you to get stronger, faster. Let’s check it out.’ Yeah right. For a brief second the button to continue appears, but when I am able to press it fast enough, it doesn’t even work. All the buttons then disappear and iron man is stuck there. I can’t press anything. Nothing works. Not even reinstalling it works. Completely unplayable. And I agree with everyone saying this is a money hungry game. Will uninstall and won’t be looking at playing it ever again. Very disappointed as I did enjoy the game when it was good.

I want to like it but.... I seriously think I would love this game however the constant crashing really does my head in. You cannot play this game for more than 5 minutes before it crashes out of nowhere. Sound glitches occur regularly along with visual glitches of the menus. Developers, please give me whatever you are having because you obviously don’t test your game if it is in this state. Couple that up with a ridiculous in game cost for characters, its like the developers want you to hate this game. Disappointing for a game with the Marvel franchise. Please fix bugs and glitches, it is unplayable.

A SLOW experience with a huge data drain :(. MSF, os a great game that unfortunately suffers from too many flaws. Firstly, the downloads and loading times are horrendous, probably one of the worst on mobile. They keep the initial game file small to download but then the game needs to constantly download data to run. This creates a major slow down in loading time and sometimes near impossible to even log in. The game also misleads you into thinking its a pretty small game but every time you play will tear into your data. No less than 10-50mb every time you play. Its a ludicrous amount for a game like this. Perhaps the devs should think of having a bigger initial download so that there are quicker loading times, less constant data drain and an altogether smoother experience. That said, its a good game, of you prepared to spend. The average amount of money to spend is USD $100 per month in order for you to get anywhere. Character unlock events are all catered for the spenders and if you not going to spend you will unfortunately never be in a position where the game feels worthwhile. Its a sad end to a game that once had so much potential. Hopefully one day the devs will start to think about their users instead of their bank accounts only.

Absolutely love the game just a quick suggestion. I have loved playing this game for years now but since I work a lot I’m always missing the chances to get characters. And what if we could trade a certain amount of character shards to members of your alliance in return for shards you need. Even with a limit on it at 3 trades daily and just giving us a bit more to do while waiting for daily objectives and energy to reset as to play for a while you will eventually need to buy gems for energy. Again love the game keep up the good work

Great game with Annoying Flaws. The game is great and has a nice loop to it and is fairly decent for a person who doesn’t want to pay anything. My biggest issue and disappointment is the sheer amount of audio bugs and general crashes. Lately raids have failed to start up and freeze at load screen, forcing me to close the app and restart but it’s taken my raid energy when I didn’t even get to start it?! Also anytime I check my notification bar during loading of anything the game freezes/often crashes and is stuck giving me loading screen tips. About 80% of the time when speeding up the battles at all, audio is nonexistent or bugged to only emit one sound. Please fix it to make it more enjoyable and smooth. From a concerned fan.

Changes needed. I have been playing this game for 6 months or so now. I am approaching the point I can’t progress to the next raid level ( doom raids ) due to lack of t3 ability materials. As a newer player who never stocked up on t3s like veteran players due to u 7.5 being the highest raid at the time they have endless amounts of t3s. However as a newer player there is not enough and can’t save them up as new toons are constantly released and need attention. Changes need to be made to doom raids to allow larger increase in t3s either by nodes or rewards at the end for Completion. Furthermore the raid store is way to packed with toons as well as gear making it very difficult to get what we need. A new store or new currency for war needs to be introduced to split gear from toons so that is more availability for players. Gold is a constant bottleneck where there is never enough to lvl up toons and your constantly waiting on gold because you can’t lvl your toons up.

Honestly No. U downloaded the game yesterday and already I want to get rid of it. It starts off so good but by the time you get up to a certain stage in events and the campaign it gets really tough especially for beginners like me who have other things to do like have a life and not do the same level at least 20 times. It has a great story from what I gather but maybe the difficulty should be bought down by a lot. Another concern is that after a while of playing it feels like a game we’re you have to spend money to get things which is alright because in the game you have the option to get said things but when your not moving in the campaign because your stuck on a level it gets boring and hard, not to mention frustrating.

Played for 4 yrs. I’ve really enjoyed this game over the years. It has always really pushed to get you to spend money though. That has become so much worse in the last year and what you receive for what you spend is ‘random’ with terrible value even for a in-house digital commodity. I have mostly lost interest in the game due to the above plus increasingly log load times between every action you take in game. If this game played then the way it does now, I never would have gotten into it.

The developers don’t really care about the players. I’ve been playing this game for years, it’s fun and all, but the devs have a huge bottleneck on multiple resources that makes that game more of a grind than is fun. With the recent archangel event they decided the one of the oldest and most useless tags would be a great idea to force players to build. I was looking forward to it but they really ruined it, seems to happen a lot lately. At this point it’s become obvious that all they care about is making money, even if that means that they aren’t making a good high quality game. Truly disappointing…

Used to enjoy this game then Scopely ruined it. Save MSF. I used to really enjoy this game till Scopely introduced multiple new bottlenecks and no real new content. Scopely continues to introduce new methods whereby you can only keep up with the game if you pay money. They introduced an expensive $20US pass for a game mode that I put the game on auto to get through as fast as I can. They will also be introducing a new pass in the next patch. If this pass is also tied behind money, which it will likely be, then they’ll expect $40 a month just to keep up in the game. They are overly greedy and completely unwilling to address underlying issues that many players have had in the game. They have caused a large number of players to quit and will continue to do so until they introduce some real change in the game.

Sick of events that are just offers. Love the game but I’m sick and tired of events that’s are impossible to beat or even get decent rewards without spending. 5 year anniversary “celebration” and kestrel costume is literally impossible to get without spending

Trash. This game is awful now, it used to be good. There is no comps anymore when mistakes are made.. the prices of things even if you did want to buy are ridiculously over priced. Support is absolutely 100% zero help now. They asked me to send them a recorded video to prove I was telling the truth or tell me to send a screen shot but screen shots don’t even work (it basically gets stuck and you have to reset game every time you try to send a screenshot) game is trash.

And players in Marvel Future Fight complain about spending, I’ve spent thousands on MFF but this would require 5 times as much money to play and acquire a character just to not be able to freely move around with the character. I don’t know not my thing when the price tags are so high up. I’d buy 2 Mandala packs for Mystique before id invest in this game at this point. Great graphics and fun gameplay, Hey if you have the cash you will enjoy this game.

Finally quit. With regret, I’m quitting after playing every day since launch. There are too many issues to list. Bugs, crashes, too much time commitment. If you’ve never played, you’ll never catch up.

MARVEL STRIKE FORCE US TO PAY. Stop making events where you force the player to pay. You made such a good game but, you’re really screwing up where you make players pay to complete events. Wish I could give 0 stars. Game was great. I even spent well over $100. dollars on it. Then after this last update it crashes constantly and I’ve gotten no help from customer service. Not a word to say they are working on it. I even deleted and installed 3 times. If this isn’t fixed soon as well as get VERY WELL compensated for the loss of time and resources not to mention the aggravation, I will be moving on to another game.

Lost its shine. I’ve spent over 2 years playing this game and haven’t missed a day. I loved it for a long time but I honestly can’t stand the direction it’s gone. They have gone to a “pay or don’t play” for the last few events. Clearly just a money grab to cater to the whales.

NOT FREE TO PLAY FRIENDLY!!!!!. The recent trend in the past year with events has been spend money if you want to complete them(never used to be that way). Play the game and grind until you reach the milestones? Nope. Give us your money. Scopely has completely moved the goalpost with these events for the character releases and only caters to the whales now. The store is basically filled with macro transactions now, a new character in a mobile video game shouldn’t cost $100, it’s just outrageous. The recent Kang event is complete trash. Basically requires you to buy the offers just so you can play the event. So if you’re new to the game, good luck in progressing unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on this game.

Don’t download. They added red stars to this game and it was possibly the worst decision ever made. They have to yet to say anything. They are a money hungry company and doesn’t care about their players. If you are thinking about downloading this game, don’t. It’s a waste of your time. Trust me.

Pure money grab. Played for 8 years just quit. Game got taken over by NetMarble the only thing that matters is bottom line. You cannot progress unless you open your wallet. If there is anything pro player they work to remove it. Core game inputs have been broken for 18 months no fix coming. The expectation is you pay to overcome bugs in the game. The game can be one of the best fighting games but is full of frustration to basic inputs not registering. If you can run away.

Game is good, company is trash. I was really enjoying this game and then, for no reason, they massively changed the schedule on three of their legendary character releases, moving one of them up by about five weeks. Ruined all of my plans

This game is a shell of what it once was. If you aren’t ready or willing to put out thousands of dollars into this game good luck progressing or keeping up with the meta as you will no longer be able to stay competitive. There are many issues that needs to be resolved that has been brought up to the devs but Scopely refuses to acknowledge them and now this game is heading towards a downward trend and are losing their player base. Unfortunate. Used to be a manageable game. Ever since Scopely took over, the focus has shifted to not caring about the fan base and trying to squeeze every last drop from the people who spend money on this. It’s heartbreaking that most people playing now only stick around because they love the Marvel Universe.

Don’t play this game. It’s a trap. You’ll start off having fun until you hit an artificial wall. Where you’ll be tempted to spend money. Don’t ever think that spending money means you’re investing it into anything. Because devs will roll out new features that start the process all over again. And when the community rejects these new features, the devs basically come out and say “deal with it”. Save your time, save your money. Stay away from this game.

Ultimate in pay to win. They’ve lost the plot. Game was fun in summer of 2018, but now it’s fully pay to win. Latest updates have brought red stars which you can buy with real money daily and bring random power boosts. The player base rallied together to complain and the developer essentially answered “we realize now you don’t like what we’ve done, but we’re just going to keep it because people are paying us”

Red Stars, The most direct means of killing a game. This is the worst type of predatory RNG, cash grab. Completely resets all the effort put in by players and replaces it with a double RNG feature called Red Stars.

Waste of time. DO NOT PLAY, HUGE WASTE OF TIME. Even if you pay to play, this game drops out in the middle of battles and events, even off the lobby and loading screens. Get no real support from the developers when contacted. Loose energy and tokens every time you have to reload but do not receive any rewards. Terrible experience, very frustrating

Greedy Devs. So many bugs in this game that the company choses to ignore and refuses to fix while milking the player base for money and creating content for only pay to play players. Huge time sink for little rewards. Don’t bother.

Greedy Greedy Game. The game is free to play, but as a 3 year old player they are pushing pay to play too hard. Microtransactions are one thing, but expecting $100+ for character unlocks with events designed to frustrate you into buying instead of playing it has got out of hand. As a Marvel fan, the game isn't worth the pain. Stay away and save your sanity.

The monetization doesn’t even feel good if you buy items… it’s too incompetently managed (poor QA, terrible communication, bizarre failures to make new releases reliably meaningful). Used to be good, now it’s pay to play. Like the title says. I’ve been playing since the game came out, but over the last year or so they are making it more and more necessary to pay to keep up. It’s too much now. I’d stay away unless you plan to drop some serious money to keep up with all the new character’s and ability upgrades.

Great Potential. Pros: It’s pretty much Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes which I enjoyed for a time. But of course, with Marvel characters, which is awesome. Galaxy of Heroes didn’t have a storyline and you’ve got one here, which I for one appreciate. Love the graphics. Love the animations of the characters. Cons: So far, the game crashes on Mission 3-2 every single time. Black Widow is able to get 2/4 cores when the game crashes. As such, I cannot proceed further into the campaign. This is the primary reason for my low review. The game is filled with Shield agents (good guys) and Hand/Hydra/Kree agents (bad guys). Star Wars Galaxy did the same thing, filling the rosters with garbage characters. Nobody wants to play agents. We want the superheros/villains. It is always a disappointment when getting limited low potential agents orb (or whatever this game is calling it). Like many free games these days, this one is hella expensive. 450 gems (or whatever this game is calling it) to secure you 5 orbs of a particular hero is terrible, when you need 50 to 100 orbs to actually unlock that character. That’s like $10 to get part of a character. Of course, instead you can rely on random draws for your $10 instead and probably get an agent. I’m certain, like in Galaxy of Heroes, there will be hella expensive bundles that will come out to secure your favourite characters.

Don’t start this game. I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years now. It was fun until new management came in. It was went from fun game to pay to win and now it’s pay to play. Don’t waste your money or your time.

Terribly out of touch with their customers. Ever since Scopely took over operations this game has taken a huge nose dive.Their quality control is atrocious and there are so many bugs with every event the past year that it’s been a terrible user experience. Knock off. This game is just a worse version of the old avengers alliance game it’s terrible, full of loot boxes if you want characters be prepared to spend all your money on micro transactions. Trust me just skip this game

The Worst of the Marvel Games.. You can buy a new game on your ps5 for the price of one of their offers and not get enough shards to unlock the character. Every new character is more powerful then the last. This game is absolutely terrible to compete you have to be a person who throws away money.

No customer support. I’ve been putting in multiple tickets for weeks about dark dimension and how it constantly crashes especially 4-15. I haven’t gotten a single response from their support. Upon looking on the internet it seems this has been an issue for many for at least two years and they refuse to do anything about it. Hopefully the new owners will fix the game because the current ones only care about $. And I’d be willing to bet the people making the most money at scopely have zero work into the game and underpay the people who actually do work. You used to get some feedback on tickets now it’s just a bot system that closes your ticket right away no response to the issue. So after weeks of waiting for a reply on the crashing issues I get a developer response saying I should try restarting the game. Here’s the issue. After a crash the only thing you can do is restart the game and guess what the game still crashes. They’ve been giving the same generic response to people for years and not doing anything about the issue. It is the developers responsibility to ensure their product works properly. Why are video game companies the only ones out there that can get away with these problems. It’s far past time they should be held accountable

Stay Away. New developer in the past couple months and they have turned a fun game into something that couldn’t be more pay to play. Every patch is bugged, some never fixed. This latest event wants you to spend valuable resources that are 10x what whales thought it would be. 10x is not a typo... To finish the event they are asking you to spend the equivalent of $70 a day for 10 days. You would actually have to spend that because the resource they want you to spend isn’t given out enough to save 10 days worth. When whales think something is absolute craziness imagine what a mild spender or f2p must think. Since the “whole” community is up in arms I’m sure they will try and make some small change they think is acceptable and it will be weak like it always is. Scopley will get what they want in the beginning but slowly kill off the community and this game will die. Can I give 0 stars because that’s what you deserve? This is also my first review ever because you couldn’t be more deserving of my time to write this. Adding on to my previous review and nothing is changing for the better. If you are a newer player just don’t even bother. The catch up mechanics are non-existent you will be in a hole until the day you realize you’re never getting out of it. Stay away!

Back and Forth. I came to this game about a year ago looking for a change of pace to Star Wars galaxy of heroes, and at first, it was such a nice change. However these games have gone in opposite directions since that time. Marvel strike force is 95% trash time. I maybe do 1-2 battles a day that are not on auto play. You do the exact same raid battles every single day. The exact same blitz climbs every single day (you need to climb once every two hours to reach max rewards). There is just such an unbelievable amount of bad screen time. Real time PVP is the worst game mode I have ever encountered in any game I have ever played. I now feel like I only play because I spent on the game, and I’m just hoping they make some major changes. Right now, this game is extremely boring to me. With all the new content in galaxy of heroes, it is at least enjoyable. You actually play the game and the game modes are fun, which this game can no longer say. Dark dimension is aggravating and takes forever. The game is designed to make you play all day to reach the best rewards, and they fill it with garbage content. Don’t play this game unless you don’t take it seriously

Faulty arena mechanics. You can play this game if you like collecting/training heroes games. One star is for arena and real time arena. So called “matching” and arena mechanics are faulty, and, I afraid, by design. Don't go out of your mind trying to comprehend how an opponent that is a few dozens of thousands(!!!!) points weaker than your team, beats you every single time... There is no way in the world it can ever happen unless the whole “strength points” system is faulty by poor programming or by design, to get you mad and paying real $$ trying to improve your heroes. Or how your team being “matched” in real time arena with a team that is way stronger that yours (what kind of matching is it anyway), and this strong team is tearing your heroes apart in seconds. Or you being “matched” with an equally strong team, but wait... you are killing the opponent’s heroes... but they come back again and again, almost dead heroes are not falling dead, still standing, healing fast and you are losing in a way it shouldn’t be happening. Calm down, because, I afraid, the majority of so called arena opponents are not even real, but look more like artificial teams with coded enhancements. Why? Again, to get you mad and feverishly spending money to develop your heroes. Take my advise - in any game do not spend money, at all. Just play as it goes, until you will get enough of it and delete it.

Scopely is a joke of a company. First, don’t believe the game rating on here if it’s over 4.0 bc we know for a fact that Scopely has asked to have negative reviews removed so that their ratings wouldn’t tank. Do not play this game as long as Scopely is behind it. They do not know how to run the game bc they don’t test anything before they send out patches, when something is wrong with the game (which is all the time) they ask you to do their jobs and provide all info as possible and then don’t reimburse you for the resources you used to “help” them. They have no intention on actually fixing the bugs that are in the game bc they either don’t care or don’t know how or both. The customer service is a joke bc it is all just 5 standard prewritten responses that you constantly get back. They do not take any of the players suggestions for making their game better. They are not creative at all and can’t even figure out how to use current game modes with in the game to continue to make this game fun. All they have done since taking over is run this game into the ground and have made it boring and monotonous. The lack of respect they show their players is completely disappointing and disrespectful and unless you are a true masochist, you should stay way from this game.

My Addiction!!!. Fun if you love EA style loot crates. I have played this game for over 3 years and it is fun, however it takes hours and hours of grinding to get decent characters and you are still not promised a good one when you do open up the loot crate style crystals. Many times when you are fighting opponents in quests the computers will not let you block, or evade to beat the character you are fighting. This is all a way to make you have to buy in game revives and spend money on the game. My roommate was fighting in a master quest and couldn’t get pass a certain enemy. Spends money on revives and all of a sudden “magically” is able to finish the quest after he spends the money. There was a way to get revives,however, it was removed as Kabaam saw that it was not profitable for them so they removed it all together claiming it was not for characters of higher levels. The crystals they offer will be for a “chance” at a really great 4 star character and guess what that chance is!? 2%. You heard me right. 2%. Generally have a 80+% chance to get a 2 star character so don’t ever waste money doing this. You would have a better chance winning while playing the craps table in Vegas than you do getting a great item in this game. If you love to gamble and lose all your money, then this is the game for you!!!

Great Game - Horrific Company & Operations. I’ve been playing this game for 1,191 days as of writing this. I’ve dedicated more hours to this game than I did playing World of Warcraft as a teenager. In my experience, Scopely and Marvel Strike Force are BY FAR the most predatory of any game/game companies I’ve seen. You know how some games will ask you for a large transaction that immediately puts you ahead? In this game, that’s impossible. Scopely will ask you every two days to spend hundreds of dollars on the most minor of increases. There is no amount of money you could spend to actually rest in this game for more than a month without falling behind completely once more. They actively discourage and segregate players who spend money from those who are free-to-play. If you want to play Marvel Strike Force for free, then you won’t be able to access new content or characters (as some take over a year to be available without purchase), and you will never be able to earn meaningful rewards from events or milestones that come up. I can play this game with limited spending because I began years ago before ownership changes. Now, I would discourage anyone from joining this game with the intention to be a regular player.

Getting Boring and Predictable. I get that the developers want to make money but it’s getting stupid. The game takes F O R E V E R unless you are willing to pay a ton of money to speed things up. In the early days of the game it was fine to pay $10 here and $40 there to not have to wait. But now it’s just greedy and you gotta spend $100’s or be willing to wait a year or more to make significant progress. Plus there are just too many characters now and way too much going on on the game to keep track (Arena, Raids, the stupid TV ratings game which will pair you to fight unevenly matched opponents that you have absolutely no chance of ever beating). The game only seems to be geared toward the whales that are willing to spend $50-$100 PER DAY and a few hundred every time a new character comes out to stay in the lead. It’s fun for a little while but make no mistake...people are leaving the game in droves now. I hit a wall and it seems most people have as well - there is just way too much going on. The time has passed for this game. If you are considering the game for the first time now, don’t bother, be prepared to drop a ton of money or expect a year before you’ll be even remotely competitive. That’s not hyperbole

Great graphics but dev are greedy. I have made some great friends playing this game and helping to run an alliance . The game is fun, and the character models and graphics are great. The game is definitely pay to win and the prices for these items are constantly giving the illusion of a sale. But every offer is the dev game of milk the players who pay for every penny they can. I am all for games that have items u can buy with cash, and I understand they are in the business to make money, but this kind of system ... where u constantly have to shell out money like I’m at a arcade is crazy. To offer character shards( which are used to unlock a character or lvl them up) at prices equal of AAA games like red dead , or spiderman PS4 is crazy. Plus , they have added red stars orbs, which are basically loot crates. And to me all these games with loot crates are basically child gambling /slot machines. Alas I keep playing due to the friends I have made , but after a year, I am feeling the crash. I am holding on for them, and to see what alliance wars will shake out to be. The game play itself has been fun, but to be competitive , and this is a very competitive game you have to pay

Great Game, Some Issues. I started playing this game around three months ago, and I gotta say, it’s pretty fun. But there are two big issues I have with the game right now:offers are priced too high, and character orbs don’t give out that much. I’m aware that of the offers you inform us of, from the Mega Orb go shards for a single character. The issue is that the price offered for them is WAY too high. I highly doubt people are willing to pay $35 for a Mega Orb, let alone $25 for a 2-star of a minion character. Also, regarding the Ant Man and Rocket Raccoon event, those orbs are ridiculously frustrating. The concept of how to get the orbs was pretty creative, but the drop rates for Orb fragments are so low! Plus, when you actually get one, you’re almost always gonna end up with five shards anyways. I’ve opened fifteen crystals for Ant Man, and every single one was five shards. That’s not enough for a three star! It’s even worse for Rocket’s event because most players might not even have a chance to earn him. As much as I love this game, you really need to make these changes. It should be much easier to earn the featured character.

Open your ears and eyes. When are you guys going to come out of the sensory depravation tanks you bought with that $300M and pay attention? The player base is unhappy at all levels of skill and play, from free to play to people that spend thousands monthly, from new players to players that have been playing for 3-4 years like myself. Every envoy is hating your decisions and the path you’re headed down. GameInformer now has a scathing article about you. The game barely runs for 90% of players. Literally everyone is telling you the same thing, and you are ignoring everyone and everything. Is the plan to squeeze every drop of money from the biggest addicts while you can? Do you want to just run the game into the ground on purpose and run away from the game? All you have to do, is make a quality game, THAT ACTUALLY WORKS, listen to the community or the envoys you contracted to listen on your behalf, and treat us with respect. Slow down on the new stuff (I know you need it to make money, but you are clearly going faster than you can handle), and fix your product. Give us the product you are advertising, instead of changing the product description to fit what it does. Pace yourselves and listen to feedback. This isn’t difficult.

Sinking ship. I have been a loyal player since this game first released. I have never found a mobile game that has kept me into it this long, I was hooked. The amazing animations , the attention to deal, the community and theory crafting that made this game so much fun in the beginning are quickly taking a backseat to cooperate greed and seemingly not to caring about the people who have put so much time and energy into this game over the years. This game is becoming an unbelievably slimy game play experience, between the broken event releases, game breaking bugs, events that require spending hundreds to unlock characters needed to unlock other characters later on, and the fact that they charge more on this mobile game than it costs for AAA games on console. It’s becoming more and more clear that Scopely cares very little about the fan base for this game their only concern is the bottom line and sucking every cent out of this game until it’s inevitable collapse. Hopefully someone reads this either on the game or players side of things because this is broken and if you are expecting the company/experience to change sadly I think it won’t they make too much off their greed to want things to change now. Avoid if all possible

Pay to win broken and glitchy. There is a lack of resources that you need to level up characters. The only way to get enough is to actually buy a pack for a “cheap price of $20”. Challenges should provide more resources for f2p players. When it comes to farming resources and characters shards the drop rates are awful, and you can only run it a certain node 6 times a day. That is ridiculous, drop rates for farming and orbs need to be improved !! Also the amount of power cores you need to spend to do something is insane. You literally can’t play the game without having to use power cores or having them tell you to by more to continue. This whole game is just a quick money grab. And is made so that In the beginning you can play without spending but in order to level up characters and be get more content and participate in more events you need to throw your wallet At the game to get the characters and the resources. It’s a shame the game is ruined by a pay wall imbalance. There are also weird glitches were I end up not reviving my resources or you accept them and they don’t appear to have been added this sends to happen often !!!! I’m also very sure that most 4 star reviews on this game are either paid or complete bits because they all sound almost the same !!!

Looks great. To my taste, Marvel Strike Force is far and away the best looking of the various games of this battle format. Its DC counterpart in particular, which I’ve tried to get into a few times, looks like absolute amateur hour in comparison. One of my favorite things about Strike Force is that though it’s visually influenced by the MCU, the comics, and other sources, it very much has its own design aesthetic, with tweaks to costumes that mostly manage unify all those disparate influences, so the Jim Lee-adjacent X-Men don’t look out of place beside the MCU-adjacent Avengers when you mix and match your teams. The relatively family friendly but still iconic and unmistakable looks of characters like Emma Frost are a nice touch too. Something I would love to see, though, is either alternate skins (which I would guess are infeasible) or for certain characters to get redesigns when appropriate. Daisy Johnson, for instance, hasn’t looked like her Strike Force incarnation for several seasons of Agents of SHIELD. She had a great redesign in season 6 that would be cool to see, or alternatively her Marvel Rising look would fit alongside newer characters like Ironheart and Squirrel Girl.

Scopely is money hungry and does not care about players. This game has so many bugs and crashing issues and Scopely refuses to fix them. Currently, they are not even responding to tickets reporting problems. When they do respond, they blame it on the player, the device, or the internet connection. Google the game before you download it and you will see all of the complaints. This game is all about money. They keep releasing new characters and teams, but it takes a ton of money and in game resources to build them up. Then soon after, they release a team that beats that team. With all of the crashing, the game is not really worth it. If you’re ok floundering in a game with slow progress or putting out a ton of real money for success, maybe this is the game for you. If you are okay with terrible customer service, this is definitely the game for you. Scopely is currently even blowing off the whales (big spenders) and the envoy (select group of players in direct contact with devs), so don’t expect them to treat you with any respect. This game is definitely trending downward and everybody I know is standing by to quit if the next update does not resolve these issues. Again, do a quick Google search and read the posts and watch the videos before you download this atrocity.

Awesome yet flawed. I’ve been playing everyday since the game came out. Love the characters and constant introduction to new characters and teams. The biggest flaw of the game is the power rankings. A 650k power ranked Defender team consistently loses to 250k power teams (Infinity Watch, Asgardians, Black Order, etc). The only team they can beat is the same Defender team or a mix of weak randoms sometimes. Developers need to find a way to fix the algorithm. The other flaw is you Never go first in combat (even with the same exact characters). You can lose your highest ranked character before you get to even go once to a group of characters that are half/third of your rank. It’s extremely frustrating when it happens. They can also do away with the PvsP battles that you are forced to play to complete dailies. You never win since the match making is horrible. Just set the game on auto and put the phone down. You’ll want to throw it against the wall if you watch. Besides that… the games awesome

Bugs and load times. This game had issues, but they would get fixed pretty quick and you’d get a bonus for dealing with it, once they fixed it. The new company has pushed through many different sales and promos, but since they took over if you use a team and succeed but your team needs healing, the exact same health bars from your weakened team will show up in your saved managed teams, until you choose them from the menu and then they show what they actually are. This issue has been there day 1 of their takeover and they can’t seem to fix it or notice. Load times are worse than ever especially opening up the game. I have a new iPhone pro and it still takes forever to load. A lot of anomaly errors mid fight, where it needs to restart the app and it wastes your energy. Beasts basic attack doesn’t have a movement animation. If you’re playing in the house on wifi and you walk outside the your cell phone data won’t transition and take over and allow you to play. It freezes, so you have to restart the app. Hela’s is supposed to summon a minion for every Asguardian that dies, Does not happen all the time, only rarely. A lot more issues, but that’s enough for now. When they work on these I’ll update review.

Definitely just out to make cash. I have never left a bad review before, but this game deserves it right now. I’ve played this game for months, and I may still do so for a bit to see if they change their ways, but I wouldn’t recommend a single new person to it right now. The game play is fun, but the developers use every trick and unethical practice in the book to try and get money of out of you including outrageous prices, moving the goal post on how to unlock characters (i.e. making the ways to get them harder without notice or misleading the community to think the requirements are going to be lower so people spend more before they announce the actual requirements), and intentionally keeping the community in the dark about upcoming changes to try and get more money out of them. They have now twice put out expensive sales for characters followed by releasing an easy way to unlock them a week later with no prior notice in order to get as much money of people as possible. There is a consistent pattern of trying to make a buck not caring if they screw the player base. So, in spite of the gameplay being decent, I could never recommend this to new players right now and I will not spend another cent in the game unless I see a change in their behavior.

Fox you game a bit. Yo game needs a little fixing. Some teams are just to much to handle and kestrel needs some major nerfing due to her always being able to apply defense down to her foes and being able to take away dark phoenix which shouldn’t be possible what so ever and some of you characters are to OP and some teams arn't fair like the “hero’s for hire” Luke is supposed to be slow but with them around THEY’RE FASTER THAN SILVER SURFER which isn’t right what so ever. Icarus however also needs some nerfing as well considering he can take away all those positives from you and hit you twice if he kills someone on your team isn’t very fair but I’ll say you can keep the double hit affect but at least let some of our teammates have some positives so have a fighting chance. In the end of all this what I’m saying is that imagine all the new people to the game they won’t want to play with teams and characters like this also fix your blitz cause every time you sim it glitches and won’t let you go again unless you back out and go back in again. That is all

I’m giving it a 2nd chance. The most frustrating thing about this game... well it would have to be a list. So many things to click, check, open etc. Not especially complicated, but the amount of time you spend upgrading, opening and finding orbs is substantial. Finding what you need is one thing, getting it is an uphill battle. There also seems to be an odds heavy advantage to the developers to deny what you need, so you’ll pay for it. Okay, fine. You need to make money, but people can’t empty their wallet every time you play. Overall the game is fun, though the characters are limited at first. Building a team outside of the given characters is difficult unless you pay for it. Thor dominates most teams. Wolverine etc. Alliance stuff? I don’t know... you can’t really progress without one. But they are pretty useless. Bottom line. Try it, don’t expect a perfect experience. If you like it then pay for some upgrades, whatever. It is what it is 🙄 Adding as of Oct 2022… The game pushes you to buy items to progress. This has become much more obvious as a strategy for them. You are encouraged not to buy in the app, rather go to their web store. The cost for some items, especially characters is ridiculous in my opinion.

Fun Game - Terrible Customer Service. I don’t typically write reviews, but for this game I am going to make an exception. I will start off by saying that, yes, this is an incredibly fun game for a mobile game. Even with the god awful monetization of basically everything, you can enjoy yourself as a free to play account. Over the course of 1,000+ days, I have not been free to play though. I’m probably what you would call a dolphin. I have spent more than I probably should have on a game that I know will no longer exist when Scopely finally turns off the server. However, I will no longer be spending anything beyond time on this game. With the introduction of battle pass, I bought the premium version instantly, finding it a good value. Then comes this week’s objectives, one of which is using a character I do not have and, more importantly, literally cannot have before the objective expires. I put in a support ticket questioning this, since I bought the battle pass premium upgrade with the expectation of being able to do it. Being told that further gating PAID content and making it impossible to complete was “by design” was the last straw. Tone-deaf canned responses simply don’t cut it when I consider the thousands of dollars I’ve put in this game. I will continue to play, but going forward, my wallet is closed.

Playing on a iPhone 7. Having played this game for a few months now (more than 3) and having dedicated some time to it. I have to admit it is fun in intervals. The monthly updates on unlocking characters for free is basically asking you to at least sign on and nothing more. The game offers events (weekly) to keep you playing but not having to pay for it. The grind is serious and can demand money but I don’t and haven’t paid a cent and have received some great RNG so don’t let their offers pressure you to buy it. It can be addicting but being aware definitely gives you aspect on what you are looking for. It runs smooth and after a patch, there is no load bugs on my model phone (Title explains that). If you are a Marvel fan and follow up on its pop following. This game hits that fix during your 15 min break or traveling on a train. Data usage isn’t serious either unless you trying to play Raids for some reason. Outside of that, if you want more from this game, then please purchase from them so that helps build on Development cost for new content.

Timers to play rounds. I seriously want to give this game more stars. It’s fun and beautiful to look at. For some reason they put timers to finish your combat. The timers don’t do anything other than to force you to speed up the game to 3x speed. It screws up the animation. It stops you from thinking. I caused you too lose. I have a number of experiences of where I was enjoying planning a battle move and down to the last couple of moves. Guess what the game stops the round and labels defeat on your battle for no other reason than a timer that serves no function other than to make sure you ramp up the speed all the way to 3X and watch what was an awesome battle turn to a blur of movement with no animation and just blurs. I’ve asked why but there really was no response other than some people ramp up the speed for no reason. That’s cool don’t know why the rest of us can’t relax and enjoy. Other than this an awesome game but once you start playing get ready to lose if you relaxed and enjoyed the sights and sound and we’re enjoying yourself. Guess they hate that!!!!!

Too much of a grind. The fact that the probability of getting a decent amount of anything from orbs or missions is set so high makes for such a slow grind that I’m getting less and less interested in playing. I’ve never seen a 3m gold orb, never get a decent amount of shards, and after 8 months, haven’t been able to complete a single level of Dark Dimension. Then, when a package consisting of a particular character’s orb is in the store, you could find yourself paying an absurd amount of money for peanuts worth of shards (I’ve literally given up on paying for any orbs since the drops are so bad across the board). Of course, if you fork out an unreasonable amount of money, you can get pay for shards, but $60 (or more) is absurd for a character, much less a small collection of shards to rank them up a single time. The contents of this game are in no way interesting, fun or complex enough to justify what they charge. I’d recommend playing something that’s not such a blatant cash cow. Edit: I’m officially giving up on this scam. The fact that a 1-year-old, 800k tcp team can get wiped out by a current 400k team is nonsense, yet it keeps happening again and again. There’s literally no point in spending money on characters that’ll be practically useless in new raids, challenges, war, arena, or anything else.

Disgusted and prejudice customer service. For over weeks I have had issues with the game in play, bugs, cheating, points, there so call purchase store that is a fault, there own customer service team manipulating n lying to me excuses n false reasons game play acts the way it is. It’s been three times a lie or false fixing an issue has been there response. If u play the game. The only customers they adhere to. Are the pay to play. They have no respect or real heart to fix issue. Removing of cheating systems or bugs they still call them. My account name is CaptainTechno803, still for the last 365 days customer service for this game has refused to respond to issues I have had in the game. Their previous owners and team were prejudice. Still are since they state that I lied about three representatives said back to me calling me something of slang against people of color n lgbtq. Whatever this game n the team mates I had have been cool. Me n some of them can’t use PMs with each other that too was asked to be fixed and it was denied. My last message from the game customer service was that they black list me. They black list a black man for fighting the racial employees they have there. Reported them. Reported them to someone above them. But nothing was done.

Sooo many crashes. Love the content, hate the crashes. For example, crash. Ok let me try something diffe, crash. Ok, now for Dark Dimension, crash. And Dark Dimension crashes so often, I just hope I die so it will at least save the progress before it crashes. How about something safe like opening orbs, crash. I’m not saying it has gotten worse, but I am lucky to get 5 minutes of play before a crash. Solutions? Don’t know. It has been going on for years without a fix. I have tried reinstalling, no joy. I would think it is the device (apple product), but this is the only program that crashes. I believe I am in the minority of people with this problem, and I am a FTP player, so I do not believe I matter to much to the powers that be. So I can not pretend to have hope that the issue will ever be resolved. I have once again reinstalled in the hopes of at least decreasing the crash rate. I really do love the content, and I want to play without getting annoyed by having to do the same thing over and over and over again due to crashes. Cross your fingers, or tentacles, or antennas, or whatever. Here goes…

Complete cash grab.. This is a “free to play” mobile game. There is nothing ftp about it. It takes all your free time if you actually want to keep up with the ridiculous amount of blitzing, raids, war, campaign farming, iso farming, RTA, special events, and arena that is necessary to be competitive without spending. Even with spending there are not enough materials to build up all the necessary characters which now have been locked in to “one use only” toons. You used to be able to pick and choose a several to build up in multiple game modes. Now you need completely different full teams to fight in every game mode with very little overlap. This game was quite fun in the beginning with theory crafting and finding ways to beat things, now Boundless just throws impossible to beat teams out there and sells you the way to beat them. I know they are trying to make money but this is just milking the Marvel fans for everything they can get and it’s really disappointing. I went from spending money to just being disgusted at the pure greed and unbelievable prices they charge for the buggy game and all the problems they have with cheating that they don’t seem to care about. There is no integrity in this game whatsoever. I really miss the game I started to play two years ago…..

Great game. I’ve been playing this game pretty much since launch. It’s great. I’m a free to play guy and I’ve probably spent about $5 since launch. It’s honestly pretty fair in the way they operate. Yeah the whales get a lot of perks and characters faster but I’ve got almost every character and I’m pretty stacked now. If you play smart and keep upgrading to good alliances you will rank up at a good rate. Of course there some frustration when you don’t get the orbs you want etc but that’s the case with all these types of games. It’s also a little weird to see Nick Fury and a team of Shield agents demolish everyone else in the Marvel universe but that’s part of the charm. Also when a team you’ve been trying to get comes together it’s a great feeling. I remember how great it was when I got Magneto and the brotherhood of mutants and they were a great synergistic team. I don’t normally write reviews but after having played this game for so long and still enjoying it I thought I should. If you love Marvel it’s a fun game with a lot of strategy. Just remember if you aren’t paying you have to have patience but you will eventually get to where you want to go.

Hate gambling simulators. I’m a hardcore Marvel fanatic. The game isn’t too bad gameplay-wise, the one thing that really irritates the hell out of me is that there are many characters that you can only get by being lucky (and it takes forever to acquire them). Imagine only getting 1-5 character shards every week or two and needing 100 to actually unlock the character. And that’s not even getting 1-5 character shards of a character you want by means of farming, you have to open an orb and hope that you get shards of the character you want out of the countless other characters. Occasionally, you can buy a pretty expensive orb that gives 6-180 of a specific character’s shards. Wow, what a deal, that’s a huge range! But oh wait... anything over 40 shards only has a less than 1% chance of dropping... spent a good chunk of the in game currency I built up to buy two of these “6-180 character shard orbs” and got 8 shards twice. Not even half of what I needed to unlock the character. That transaction right there made me a free to play player because I’m not going to tolerate crap-odds gambling simulators and it really made me reconsider even playing the game at all if the producers want to pull crap like that on their supporters.

Was great, became a money sink. Two years ago, this game was fun and engaging. Pretty difficult to move forward once you hit higher levels, but it was something you could grind at every day and eventually get there. However, power creep has made that harder. Each time they release a new team, it renders your current maxed out team more obsolete, until your entire roster is pretty much useless against a high level new team that one-shots you. It used to be fun but now it’s basically only people who spend money on the game, which lets be real, is really expensive to do so. It’s disappointing, especially as a long time Marvel fan. I’m only leaving two stars because of the good memories I had playing this game with my friends, but they all left and now I’m just sick of how far you fall behind if you’re not constantly farming and getting all of the heroes they release. I’m probably going to delete it soon, which is disappointing considering how much time I invested in my Symbiote team. They’ve gotten greedy, as all great games do, and have made it less and less worthwhile to invest in. If you have a lot of extra cash laying around, go for it. If not, don’t bother.

Fun Game Ran By An Incompetent Company. As most mobile game models are this game is pay to win which is fine. What is not fine is the lack of moral compass against all players both ftp and p2w with their most recent debacle of a $5 offer and 1 core offer being wrongly coded and giving full rewards for the months of both June and July for a handful of players. Instead of grinding or paying these players can take the month off, but what about the rest of the players? Good question, during their holiday and summer vacation they get to pay, or grind, and are given a calendar (that those handful also got) of “Hefty Compensation”. This calendar means you still have to log in, and better yet this calendar belongs in a “Hefty trash bag” as the rewards are beyond lack luster in comparison to the months rewards. Has this company made a public apology and owned up to its mistakes? No. Not as of 6/1/22. This game is about resource management and a handful got a couple months worth of gear that probably would’ve cost $100s of dollars to obtain otherwise. This imo is their biggest middle finger to their players. If they wanted to maintain the integrity of the game for spenders and free to play they would distribute all the rewards then add additional rewards for the entirety of the month for players to choose whether they want to grind or spend. Player beware.

Going Downhill. As of today, I’ve been playing this game for 788 days and I can say this game has been slowly turning into a game not engineered for your “enjoyment” but to make money for Scopely. It seems since Scopely purchased this game, the player base who loves this game and is inspired to help the developers perfect this game, has been increasingly shut out by not taking our recommendations and not listening to us. I’d say this game is still fun from the amount of characters available to the graphics and character design. The game modes are more of a mixed bag. RTA is trash because you literally just auto-play without even paying attention. This is a simple fix by just making it a competitive win based mode. War is very fun but definitely needs an update. Arena is awful because there are shotgun glitches that mess up your rank and it’s not that “fun”. Blitz is now auto which is easier than before. Raids are kind of fun but a grind. Overall, I personally wouldn’t recommend new players getting into the game because it’s definitely a money grab and I think Scopely is running the game into the ground. Once they start listening to their player base and start using logic for their game mode design, then I’d recommend it again and put a higher star rating.

It’s a fun game....until it crashes. Just started playing this game and it’s fun...when it doesn’t crash. This game crashes on me at least once every time I open the app. It’s frustrating b/c if you’re playing a campaign you still lose your energy even though you’ve never even played the stage because the game crashed. I hope they fix this issue ASAP! Update: I had to update my rating to 1 star b/c there are too many bugs that cause the app to crash on every raid, blitz, arena and campaign mission. I can’t even use certain characters because they cause the game to crash (i.e Vision). Not only does the app crash but it doesn’t give you the energy you used to play the mission or battle. So you’re constantly unable to complete missions or the daily tasks bc u used all your energy even though you didn’t get to play that mission. I can’t complete any campaign missions because, again, the game always crashes. So now I can’t get any items to power up the heroes/villains I do have. This game could be great, but the bugs absolutely kill it and make this game frustrating and unplayable. I’ve reached out to their support and they have been of no help. Nothing gets fixed and the game crashes get progressively worse with each new update/character added.

Disappointed. I’ve played this game since the first day it came out. It started out as any other game would. Fun at first, grinding to max out the characters you like, etc. Of course they introduced legendary characters which were fun to pursue. Then they introduced legendary characters that needed other legendary characters to unlock. This made it very tough for people to unlock these characters. Next they started introducing people at such a fast rate that you couldn’t upgrade one team before another came out and another legendary for that team in a limited event but you had to have the previous legendary to unlock the new one and you can’t farm that previous legendary so you get stuck while the game keeps moving forward slamming new characters at you while you’re 3 teams behind just trying to keep up. The newest antic of theirs is the money grab. They had the audacity to introduce an event that cost 5000 power cores daily to get the max rewards. Power cores are very hard to come by, but of course, you can buy them with real money. To put into perspective, this would cost about $65 DAILY to get rewards from this event. This is a clear slap in the face for all the players of this game. It used to be fun but not anymore. It feels like a chore playing this game now. Unless you have large amount of cash laying around, you will always be behind in this game.

Great game that’s gone downhill. Substantially.. Scopely has turned a once-fun character collector game with great Marvel characters into a bug and exploit-filled money sink. The greed that this company has shown is absolutely heartbreaking - new characters, gear for upgrades, training materials to level up characters, and worst of all the horribly-implemented red star system are all locked behind thinly-veiled paywalls with delayed and extremely limited resources available for free-to-play players and occasional/light spenders. The company has at times done the bare minimum when it comes to addressing these issues, and more often than that they completely ignore player base concerns. Event and arena exploits go unaddressed, there have been more frequently occurring instances of miscommunication, errors in paid offers, and scheduled events not occurring at their set times. I’ve personally poured countless hours and more money than I’d care to admit into this game, and I’ve made some wonderful friends in my alliance along the way, but it’s becoming harder and harder to log in every day when there’s another paywall, bug, or exploit at every instance. Until they actually address and fix these problems, the 1-star rating will stay, and I would encourage anyone interested in the game to stay away completely.

Literally Stole $35 From Me! DON'T PLAY!!!. Over the course of a year I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game. During that time, when I’ve had issues, the game developers customer service has been horrible and at times have refused to refund in app purchases that wereNever received.A few days ago I purchased a $35 offer and did not receive it. I have contacted the company for a refund or to simply give me what I purchased. It took them more than 24 hours-which is their stated response time- and said I need to provide some additional information, which I then did. Then they sent me another response yesterday asking for the same information I already gave them. I took pictures of the charges to my credit card as well as screenshots of my Apple purchases screen showing the exact package and price of the items I was asking for. I asked them to plz respond by the morning so I know how to proceed. THEY IGNORED ME AGAIN! Love the game hate the company and they’re stupid irresponsible uncaring response to players. I’m not the only DON'T PLAY THIS GAME!!! Update: still no response. I had to complain to Apple about Scopely irresponsible corporate behaviors and contact the better business bureau to file a complaint. Are you kidding me? All becaus they're so greedy they won't give my $35 back? Ridiculous.

Addicted. Okay, I’ve been a comic book fan since I could read, primarily Marvel Comics to boot. That’s how I got started on this game, the fun of collecting, powering up, and using familiar faces. Sure, sure, I’m desperately awaiting the day they add Nightcrawler to the lineup (hint, hint), but I love my Spider-Man, Cloak, and Doctor Strange. Game play is a combination of grind, gotcha, task completion, and turn-based combat. You have four types of combat ongoing, and four other types that come and go. In the midst of this are a variety of ways to unlock and upgrade characters as progress through the main game’s storyline and battle sequence. Battles are either a mind-numbing challenge of strategy and team building, or a farce of a cake walk depending on how leveled up your team is for a given scenario. So, lots to do and tons to unlock. For the most part, the real money transactions serve to speed up (sometimes dramatically) what you can do with patience. Team aspects are involved with easy to join alliances that expand game play. Enjoy, Excelsior, and ‘Nuff said.

Potential only goes so far. This game was great for a long time but is now being dragged down by persistent issues. I give some credit that devs do respond to some community concerns but only after repeated screaming about issues. Every release is plagued with some kind of bug as if the designers aren’t actually testing what they release. It’s maddening to see nearly every new character or event release have some kind of problem on the back end or characters not work as advertised in the beginning because of bugs. There are some core elements of the game, like the red star progression system, that the vast majority of the player base has expressed a need to change but over a year later still goes unaddressed or talked about. The last two years have seen the developers make changes only after massive organized outcries from the player base and content creators. I have played this far longer than any other mobile game that I have tried but too many bugs, a lack of verifiable attention to QA, too many unnecessary resource clogs and forced low quality screen time has severely diminished my enjoyment of this game. I love the property and I am too invested to just quit playing but if it doesn’t turn soon that will no longer be the case. New players should beware.

Purchases Required. When you first start out this game it can actually be really fun and you can seem to be progressing and growing your team and characters really quickly but after a while (I would say around the level forty mark) the game becomes incredibly difficult to progress in and you can’t really do much without spending money. Any new characters you want seem impossible to get without spending a ton of money. You basically get stuck in the game and the only way to continue to move forward is to make purchases. The drop rate on any of the orbs in the store is absolutely appalling and should be considered robbery. Orbs that can wipe out your entire stash of power cores will give you materials you can buy in the shop for a couple thousand gold and three to six shards for characters you either already have or require hundreds of shards to unlock it is incredibly impossible to get any large amount of shards from the orbs unless you fancy spending a ton of money on power cores (this seems to be one of the only real ways to get power cores). This game was fun and quickly turned into a scam where purchases are required to advance in the game even the slightest bit I do not recommend this game marvel has better games that won’t trap you into making purchases

Newest update killed a great game.. Before this update this was a 5 Star game. I left wwe SuperCard permanently for it. However since the update, and I am far from alone in this... Many many many errors and unplayable moments have happened. I myself have been in contact with support for days... Going into a week soon. I have tried on both my iPad and iPhone is broken. I can't I lost 900 cores and only intended on using 450 in the first place. 900 cost around 12$ to buy... So there's that. Every game mode constantly freezes, raids are literally unplayable. Arena seems to be mostly working which is something I guess. Then today I'm about to receive my 15 Loki shards to upgrade his level. Never got them. I've logged in over 340 days in a row...I don't expect perfection every minute every day. And they're usually good about doing the "sorry our game was broke here's extra stuff for those affected, thanks for patience". But this time is something bigger. I'm leaving this review and done playing now. Only checking emails for fair compensation for a game I've loved for everyday of basically the last year. At the very least I'd like my cores refunded so I can use them elsewhere. Good luck to the support and dev team members... You need it. As I said this was a 5 Star game it is literally unplayable at this point.

Be prepared to waste a lot of time.. Played this game consistently for 3 months and my initial impression was it was a decent game for what it was. I will say they run enough events to keep you interested, but the problem rears its ugly head when you delve deeper into the game unlocking characters is a semi merciless grind where you cross your fingers and hope the RNG for shard drops, which is heavily geared and designed to encourage the spend of money for in game cash. You are also bombarded with no less than 3 offers per log in which equate roughly to $10-$40 for the chance to unlock certain characters which is in its basic form a gamble because nothing is guaranteed. The game itself is actually fun depending on how much time you put in but there are some ongoing bugs where you select a mission and the game crashes and you restart app and energy has been wasted so you have to wait or buy more, similar issues with raiding. All in all it is pretty solid as far as gameplay but the lower stars are more for the blatant cash grab this game is introducing new chars every so often in a stringent time slot to acquire or be penalized by a nudge to fast track to the credit card. Not my cup of tea anymore I’ll stick to tabletop gaming.

Needs improvements. I’ve been playing this game since launch, log in everyday, and for the most part it’s fun to play otherwise I wouldn’t have logged in for the last 1000+ days. The problem is currently there are too many bottlenecks in the game. Not enough gold or training materials to level all the characters you have or the new characters that get released. There’s not enough gear pieces to go around to gear up all those characters, especially in the later gear levels where you need thousands of pieces. There’s no catch up mechanic for new players. Red star promotions are frustrating because everything is RNG based and we don’t receive enough currency from events or login to promote characters we actually want to upgrade. There used to be good real money offers in the game that were actual “micro transactions“ now they’re all “macro transactions” and horribly overpriced. I’d consider myself to be a dolphin or someone who occasionally spends money, and I’ve scaled back quite a bit. And I haven’t even touched on the bugs in the game, which are numerous. It’s a meme at this point. I still play everyday, but I won’t reward this game by spending money. When these things get addressed, I’ll update the review and rating.

Technical Issues Make Inequities. The most recent update released the most powerful character in the game, silver surfer. Due to some glitch, some users who purchased the character received a much higher rank Silver Surfer than others who purchased the exact same package. This is hugely unfair and needs to be corrected, and not with some arbitrary orb shard gift or in-game currency. You need to correct the imbalance. Everyone who bought the same offer should have the same number of shards and everyone who didn’t buy it yet should be able to purchase those same number of shards at the same price. Either remove shards from those who benefited from the glitch, or make those same number of shards available to everyone. This is insane how expensive it is to stay competitive in this game when technical issues are constant. The update also broke ALL raids. Impacting completion and rank. Another issue that makes gameplay frustrating is the phantom boost icons. Enemies will show an icon indicating they have a dodge boost, but it’s not real. This impacts decisions on who to attack and it’s really getting frustrating to constantly guess what is real and what is not. In short. Fix the game’s technical issues and the inequities they cause. You need to address Silver Surfer shards specifically and immediately.

Don’t spend be F2P. This game is fun and hits those gambling addicts perfectly. But I started almost a year ago and the money put in doesn’t feel well spent. The worst part is they have added two separate monthly passes. On top of that they now they are starting to lock character unlocks behind these monthly passes. I spent hundreds on the silver surfer unlock and pass and will still be just 10 shards short of upgrading him. The game is painfully frustrating because of RNG and P2W mechanics. Two monthly subscriptions is predatory. I think paying for the VIP rewards of one should give them for the other. They continue to have bugs such as improper shard rewards on events and not updating the increased drop rates they claim. They make no effort to change things the player base desires such as red star availability and resource limitations that have been created with game expansion. Such as inadequate amounts of gold and inability to gain major characters through game content (ex. Emma Frost). I’ve spent more on this game then anything in the past. Even subscription service games I played for years. It’s frustrating. I will likely not be spending another dime on this game and will eventually just quit once the great players of my alliance can’t persuade me to stay anymore.

Disappointing. I’ve been playing this game for awhile now. It’s fun because it’s marvel but the more you play the less fun it gets. There is no QA in this game at all. Every week there’s something wrong with the game. If it benefits players it’s fixed within an hour but other bugs have been around for ages. Messaging support is worthless, if they respond it’s a bot. The offers for in game purchases are so expensive I don’t know how anyone affords them. Also now game is at a point where legendary characters are easier to unlock than non legendary. They claim they are going to give us less screen time then release hulkbuster event which requires you to blitz every 2 hours for over a week. When event starts it doesn’t even count blitz towards milestones so hours lost towards impossible event. It amazes me how a mobile game sells so many offers for so much money. For price of one offer I could buy a whole game on console or pc and have very few bugs with the game. I really do like the game and it is fun but the amount of screen time, unavailability of older characters, bugs and lies from the company are forcing me to quit the game. I’m going to play without spending until I finish dd5 then uninstall this game that’s run by clueless developers.

It’s unfair and frustrating.. This game is becoming more and more frustrating as they roll in new content, characters and events. I’ve been playing for some time now. These scourges event are unfair, I can only complete 8 out of 37 milestones. To unlock a character you need to hit milestone 17. I try to keep up leveling the characters needed for the events but the game spreads your resources thin where I can only focus on one event at a time instead of the multiple ones they throw at you at once. Most times these events won’t let you miss one day from the game let alone a few hours in order to keep up with the milestones. You sacrifice a lot of time trying to reach them in most cases I rarely can reach them even though I’m an active daily player. Also I spent so much time and energy to get my X-men team to 600k only to be defeated by a team of only two eternals at 200k. Its frustrating that I wasted so much time on them when power doesn’t matter only team synergy. They keep rolling out these new teams with amazing synergy’s and make it almost impossible for low level players to get them, leaving these players behind in the events and future ones. Going forward, I don’t plan on changing my rating because I know they will never do anything to change the way they approach these issues.

Ok game. TONS of flaws.. The actual fights are really fun to play. However, the stuff in the store is WAY overpriced, there are constant bottlenecks on gold and materials, and a lot of the characters that are key to getting a good team up and going are locked behind some very hard to get into end game activities. Then you hit the biggest issue of them all, red stars. You need to get the shards to star a character, use a metric ton of materials to gear them, only to now have to turn all those stars red. Without the red stars your characters are basically useless. That’s where the pain starts. Red stars, and I’m not talking 1-3 of them because they might as well not even exist if they only have that many, are completely RNG and to say the odds are stacked against you would be an understatement of epic proportions. Add that on top of the certain traits required to do stuff and it adds up to not being able to do much until you have a year plus or thousands of dollars invested. It’s really a shame they don’t listen to the 99% and cater to the top 1% so badly because it could be a really great game if they would just hit the issues that most of the people have. Red stars being easily number 1 on that list.

Bugs. I have reported the same bug several times. Nothing is changed. While collecting orbs, I find when I get an orb which adds gold to my account. The gold does not reflect int my total. Some times it is put in there after I report it as a problem (I see it on the next login). Other times it shows up, I think, the next time I log on. Thus problem has been reported many times over the last three months. Problem still exists! Also when trying to augment a character’s power, I have run into situations where I cannot obtain all the items needed. When I go back later to try again, the items I did acquire are no longer there, and I have to pay for them again with resources. I have seen this comment on other players comments, so it is a real problem and needs to be addresses quickly. I have been playing for about a year now. And reaction times for getting the check marks for the dailys are not always there, even thought when I go back to the selection window, they show as being provided (especially the 10K contributions).

Bugs for days.. I am experiencing multiple bug since this last update. Issue #1: every time vision uses his ability block technique my game crashes and shuts down. This happens when he is on my team or on the computer side enabling me from continuing in the campaign mode or battling in certain raid circumstances. Issue #2: after this previous update I am no longer allowed to attack in any type of battle. Blitz, arena, campaign or raid. The characters on both sides just stand there until time expires. The auto battle does not work, nor does it work when I hit the attack buttons. This is very frustrating for me given the fact that I have paid money to this game on multiple occasions and I am concerned with being kicked from my alliance for non-participation. I have contacted the game staff directly through the App Store and I would very much appreciate a prompt response given the time sensitivity to this matter. Right now I wish that I could read this game below one star given my frustration but I will change my rating to five stores and also edit my review accordingly upon these issues being resolved. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you and being able to continue to play this game that can be very fun when there is no technical issues.
