Great app, needs some polish. Great app, has annoying bug where it crashes when you try to save a photo. Also needs the ability to change your homepage and to be able to go back by swiping left on the edge of the screen. otherwise perfect.

Unstable on IPhone For WEBM browsing. If you intend to use this app for browsing Webm files, just know that on an iphone the app will crash and close itself about ~every 10 webms files opened. The browser saves your cookies and searches but there doesnt seem to be a way to adjust or clear it in the app settings. If the app crashes it closes everything you were doing and goes to your home page. Again, there is no way to view a history list, so you would have to navigate back to where you were

Key feature missing. The app is alright at the moment but it would really benefit from a gallery mode where you can swipe between all the different webms that are linked on one url Also iPad support would be great Regardless thank you for making this app

9/10. This app is everything I needed for um cute cat vids of course. One thing I hope can get implemented. - Make the video go full screen automatically. It’s kinda difficult using one hand to open a video and then hitting the full screen button. If that’s possible then this app is perfect, I’ll give it 5 stars after!

When it works it’s great, super inconsistent.. It used to work flawlessly for me for the past year, in the last month it has gotten really poor. Maybe 1/10 of all the WebMs I click can actually play. I don’t wish to play lottery on which will load and play and which ones won’t. If it were consistent I would give it 5 stars for how well it works for what it’s supposed to do, I’m not too concerned with additional features on the browser. Just want it to work for what I paid it to do.

UPDATE PLS!. Great app that needs an update to be compatible with the annoying ios 15.5 update. I hope you fix this superior app that apple broke with their update.

It WAS decent…. Now, not so much. It did its job fine when it comes to playing webms and you were able to download videos too which was nice. That changed sometime this weekend though since for whatever reason the video player changed without updating the app and it barely works now. Videos hardly load up for me now and when they do, I am now unable to download them since the button was removed to do so. Really disappointed since it was fine before. Sure it crashed seemingly when it wanted to and the interface could be better but it did what it was meant to do. The only thing to do now is to see if it gets “magically” changed back again…

Perfect for the Chan. This dude probably made it for the Ethiopian basket weaving website. No issues so far, latest update gave it fresh life into it, can save videos, watch webms in the Picture in Picture or fullscreen if you want

Rly disappointed.... This app cannot play webm files online.... feel like i have been ripped off $3....

Great when it works. I’m on iOS 14.4 and it just doesn’t load videos. If I download the videos and tap on them in the video browser it works but loading directly from a webpage doesn’t work.

No Longer Works?. Is the developer aware it stopped working several weeks ago? Maybe 1 out of 10 videos are playing anymore. Would love to update my review down the road, but the app simply doesn’t work anymore.

WebM Update. I love that webm’s now open in-line instead of at the top of the screen. However, there is a new nuisance if having to unmute each and every video. The option to download has also been removed. If in-line playing can stay, with the above problems fixed, Frost will go to the next level.

Finally!. I’ve been waiting for an app like this for a long time. There aren’t a lot of free WEBM browsers on the App Store for some reason, and most of the ones I’ve used have had no support for the English language and littered with enough App Store pop ups and ads to make it very literally unusable. This thing is buttery smooth, no intrusive ads, no interruptions, clean interface, and it’s free. Amazing.

Not what I was hoping. App isn’t full screen on iPad

Good app but needs a few fixes. This app works perfectly for watching WEBM, but it’s lacking in some features like a history section, it crashes sometimes when I try to save a photo, and if I don’t use it for awhile it resets all my tabs. It can make following threads difficult.

Was great until new update. New update has made it so videos play in page instead of on their own player at the top which has slowed the app and removed ability to save videos. If this is fixed app is 5 stars

Does not work on ipad right now. As the title says, it hasn’t worked for me the last couple of boot ups.

Update to Webms messed the app up. Overlay for Webms does not work anymore so you cannot save videos in a convenient manner.

Great app but. Has a lot of room for improvement. The ability to swipe left/right to advance through video library clips would be a great feature.

Not terrible but not amazing either. I bought this app because I frequently watch WebM content. For WebM videos this app works very well, haven’t had any issues with webms at all. I just wish it would open embedded videos straight from the site instead of just displaying them at the top 1/3 of the screen. The worst about this app is how many less features it has compared to the multiple free browsers that exist in the App Store. I cannot press and hold a link to copy it, can’t press and hold to open a new tab within the browser (it redirects you to safari or whatever default browser you use), I can’t save photos or webms without the app just crashing completely. These are features I thought I’d see in a paid browser app, but I guess not. Would really like some new features and for the existing ones to actually function properly, besides that this is an okay app for webms exclusively and not much else.

This isn’t what I paid for. Was 4 star before and only was kept from being a 5 star due to the inability to slide my Thumb back and forward to exit(back) or renter threads. I hate pressing the lil arrows. Changing this to a 1 star and they know why!! This isn’t what I paid for last month!!

Good but not great. Interface is better than others but won’t play when tries to enlarge WebM.

Random Change. So, the app shows no update for the past 10 months. However, recently when used it shows the webms in a new, highly inferior layout. The old version was far preferable.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!! IT IS A RIPOFF!!!. This is not compatible with IPads. The app stays the same size as an iPhone with black rims around that. It does not play webms either. Complete ripoff. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!! IT DOES NOT WORK AND IS A RIPOFF!!!

latest update fixed the app. No longer crashes for me works wonderfully now

Deprecated App. I’m assuming the updates to Safari or iOS are the cause of these recent changes which make this app redundant and relatively useless. WebM is now able to be played in Firefox and safari with audio and video. This app previously allowed viewing of WebM content using a mini player that would appear at the top of screen as well as saving the file in app and full screen viewing. After recent updates however the WebM plays in the browser unable to full screen and utilizing the normal iOS file saving function. Playback in this app is oftentimes rough towards the end of the file skipping the last number of frames while audio is unaffected. Freezes and crashes were not uncommon especially as the library of files increased. You could still use it but it isn’t recommended or necessary any longer. You can view in your browser and save to your device using VLC or another player to view them offline. Consider donating the $3 you’ve saved to a not for profit project.

WebM player needs fixed. Before, the WebM player would appear as an overlay at the top of the screen, but now it appears in the post it’s in. Which is great, however a lot of the WebM files won’t even load at all, also I cannot save the videos as there’s no option anymore. Plus, I’ve never been able to open links that go outside of the website they’re on. Can’t even full screen the video without auto-rotate.

no purpose anymore. until they add the ability to download webm’s again this app has no other purpose it’s a subpar browser missing a lot of functionality. will update back to 5 stars when downloads are fixed.

Crashes when ‘Add to Photos’ is used. When trying to save a picture, and you long press, ‘Add to Photos’ crashes the app entirely.

Crashes when you save a photo.. Great app only issue is that when you see a photo you want to save and tap add to photos it crashes the app. Tested it tons of times. Hopefully they work out that bug!

Wow. Doesn’t play videos

Went from amazing to horrible.. Everything was perfect. They added the ability to name files that were saved and everything was great… then they took away the ability so save files. Ruined the entire app, it pains me to come back and lower my review. However, this app is now useless. I hope in the future they fix what they broke. Until then, I have to leave a negative review. Sorry, please fix this app.

Unusable. This app crashes more than the stock market nowadays. I can’t load a single webm without this app crashing and closing itself. I can’t get the functionality that I expected when I paid for this app. Disappointed.

iPad support when?. Love the app. When will you have full fledged iPad support?

It plays .webm files, not much else.. It’s extremely barebones as a browser, but functional. No multiple tabs. The webms are saved through an unintuitive gesture (swiping up) rather than just holding your finger on it to open the context menu (you shouldn’t need an instructions menu option just to learn how to save the file). Can’t save webms in a format that you can actually store in your photo gallery (no sending them via Messenger or other apps). Can’t save images by holding your finger on them, both static images or .gif files. Returning to the main menu causes you to lose the page you were on. It needs a lot of work before it’s comparable to Merlin, but there’s definitely potential. Saving images and webms in a converted format for iphones would be a huge step.

It’s just a glorified browser.. You can browse and save WebM files online, and save them to the Apps library, but you can’t transfer them to the video library or your computer. Pretty much a useless app.

Broken for chin. Most recent update breaks WebM playback on 4chin. Was perfectly happy with app prior will return to 5 stars once fixed.

Can’t delete downloaded webm. App provides no instructions or option to delete downloaded webm

You’re a filthy scammer!. The app does not work at all. You cannot even play a webm in the browser. This app is a waste of money and I WILL be seeking a refund.

good app. simple to use, does the job, will 5 star when you can fast forward or rewind

Plays webms. However, you can’t rewind, fast forward, or skip ahead on a playback progress bar, and you can’t delete your downloaded webms, rename them, put them in a folder, or find them if you open a different app. The site I often use gives their WEBMs numerical names rather than more clear names, so I really don’t know what WEBM I’m opening when I click on whatever I downloaded. This could be made easier in this app with a thumbnail for each file. Needs work but at least it plays WEBMs.

Currently does not work on iOS 12. Currently cannot get webms to properly show. “Loading...” is seen followed by a black screen.
