Excited at first, quickly disappointed. As a pan ace (panromantic asexual), I was excited to see an app that did not pigeon hole one into one aspect of the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Unfortunately, I was quickly disappointed with the difficulty in adjusting my location and the quality of potential matches. I was (and have always been on other apps) very clear about what I was looking for, and some expectations like age and location were ALWAYS ignored by other users. I only want to date people within 10 miles from my city, but I constantly got likes and requests from people outside that range, often outside my STATE. A large number of those people were 18, which is way to young for an individual who is almost 30. Many of the people I chatted with never had an interest in meeting, and they didn’t seem to have intelligence and (as another reviewer mentioned) class. It is VERY annoying to be on a site where users do not READ profiles and just swipe or like anyone on there. Good idea, but needs more controls so users don’t get bombarded with people who don’t meet their criteria.

annoying and buggy. one of the worst features of this app is that inactive users remain shown, so someone could have not logged in for years and their profile will still show up, regarding in there being a lot of repeat profiles as well. there’s also a lot of bugs with messaging. it will constantly show you people who you haven’t matched with, and i’ve had multiple instances where it had continued to message suggest me people i have blocked. lastly, i’m only mildly exaggerating when i say the “new likes” notifications this app sends me make me want to go to conversion therapy if this is “the” LGBTQ dating app… luckily they can be turned off. but they send push notifications to you basically just saying “new likes” with cringey emoticons (no, not emojis, stuff more along the lines of the lenny face and other unicodes. i wish i was joking.) not that it doesn’t fit with a lot of the clientele. i regularly see people with names like “darkness angelqueen”. if you’re fairly normal and seeking a real relationship with someone who is NOT completely insane, look elsewhere.

Not the greatest app for trans women. I have yet to come across a good dating app for trans women. I would say this is mostly due to how the dating apps are set-up and is also a reflection of how far we have yet to go when it comes to the stigma around dating trans women. There’s just not a large dating pool on this site for trans women, majority of the men on here are very unattractive, and I hate to sound vain, but it’s honestly true. The few “attractive” guys on here are not looking for anything serious, so definitely a strong indicator that trans women are still very much sexualized and fetishized by men and not worthy of being loved in their view. I also can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve swiped on the same guys over and over again due to the small dating pool on this app. There’s a ton of fake profiles on here. You also have to pay a decent amount every month in order to unlock most of the features on here. Overall, just another disappointing LGBTQA+ dating site looking to exploit us.

Termination of profile without any wrongdoing. I was excited to download the app and meet new lgbt+ people. Unfortunately after only having the app for a day I was banned for “behavior and unacceptable offers”. I messaged three people one just being a short “hi how are you?” that didn't go anywhere, my best friend who also just downloaded, and another person who was in the same field as me. A total of probably 7 messages or something. They said I had “multiple complaints” about my behavior, but they should have the ability to see my stuff right and see that nothing of the sort happened? I have no idea why I was actually banned it’s bs and I was really excited to talk to a new person I had just met on there. When I presented them with my concerns and asked about any proof of wrong doing they just sent me a link to their terms and conditions. Absolutely terribly disappointing will never recommend this app again. I just wanted to talk about biology and stuff with other lgbt people and now I will have no way to talk to the person I had just barely started talking to.

HELP GETTING BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT!!. I love this app, but I had a notification banner pop up at the top of my screen that someone liked my post, and I hadn’t been on in a few hours but I clicked on the banner to open the app, and it had logged me out for some reason. So I tried logging in using Apple, because that’s how I had signed it and how I created my account... the app glitched and then whenever I would try to log into my account, it was trying to make me create an entirely new account. Which is so frustrating because I had just verified my account and everything and now I can’t get back into it. There is no back button on the account set up pages and I even deleted the app entirely and redownloaded it to try to get back to the main log in page, and it didn’t work.. it was still stuck in the account set up process from before I deleted the app. Which I didn’t know was possible. Lol. I love the app but I can’t get back into my account now !

Crap Live Support. It would be a decent app if it wasn’t for the horrible live support harassing and threatening people on the basis of nothing. Long version: don’t be an above average (trans or otherwise) female on this app or they’ll consider you suspicious and accuse you for soliciting whatever, even if you aren’t. If you’re below average you’re probably going to have a stellar experience and they’ll more than likely leave you alone. Clearly they hate sex workers of ANY capacity, so keep that information to yourself even if someone asks you what your occupation is and you simply reply with honesty and don’t provide information beyond that. Don’t mention the antichrist Only Fans even in conversation to talk about or you’ll get banned on the spot. They’ll read your private messages and side against you every time. It’s a sad look when a company is pushing out what little trans females it has. Not a lot of us to begin with. So now it’s becoming a sea of cis males. If the live support team isn’t run by a bunch of degenerate incels, I would be surprised. But I’m pretty sure that’s the case. Don’t buy merch from this company or give it money of any kind, they don’t deserve the added cash flow. Harassing and discriminating against your customers behind your pathetic ToS is 100% not ok. Hoping something better comes along.

The app was okay, but now-. When I first downloaded it, it had a lot of potential, and there were minimal issues with it. Later down the line, they started getting more and more greedy, and access to so much had become limited, making it difficult to match with people. I don’t go on here too often because I can’t even view anyone who liked me at all. Despite this, I decided to log on just for the heck of it last night, and I messaged a couple people I matched with. Fast forward to when I woke up, and literally almost ALL of my chats and messages are completely gone, all the convos I had and everything. I luckily have a couple of people saved, but I can’t see if they ever responded. This app just unfortunately doesn’t seem worth it, especially since on top of the glitches and constant advertising to pay for features, it’s been overridden with people who just want to hook up or send inappropriate and graphic pictures. As an ace person, I don’t need that in my life, so I might just delete the app soon :/. Don’t waste your time downloading it.

Concept is decent. Very poorly executed.. The concept of the app is decent. Kinda a hybrid of tinder and Grindr. But the paid version benefits were changed a month after I joined, with no warning or update. The app always says you have notifications, for likes, for visitors, for messages, etc... but after you view them all (even though the notifications for all the random stuff for messages are turned off), the badge still shows you have notifications hiding somewhere that just never go away. So you don’t really notice if you get a new message. But worst is the customer service. Straight up ABYSMAL. And they were actually rude. They never fixed the issue. They promised to extend my subscription then didn’t. Then make me prove they said that even though it’s all in the message chain with them. So I have to screen shot them, then they just won’t respond for days or weeks even. Then they pretend they’ve never spoken to me before and I have to start the entire issue all over again. So, use for free if you must. But certainly don’t give them any money.

AUTO RENEWED A CANCELLED SUBSCRIPTION. Had an issue because I cancelled my subscription and was still unable to pay the original money that was owed because I switched debit cards. When I switched cards it not only charged for first subscription but somehow also renewed it starting from the day I canceled, charging me for only 2 days of actual premium left. I talk to support and they essentially can’t do anything, apple are the only useful people to talk too. The Tiami live help and support is a joke and are only there to tell you that they can’t actually help at all. I’d understand if I still had premium access all this time but I didn’t, n was still charged for the renewal today for a week of no premium leaving me only 2 days left before another renewal. This app is trying to make an extra buck auto charging a subscription that was previously cancelled in the hopes that my refund won’t go thru. Tiami is bad and I hope this app dies. Btw a I’ve noticed a ton of these 5 star reviews are not real and r just dev alt acc that they write anything positive they can in it. Don’t buy into the reviews with 5 stars.

Have to pay for everything.. This app would be great if you didn’t have to pay for everything. I love the diversity and it being so inclusive don’t get me wrong, but I just downloaded it and already can’t see anymore people or match with people who like me because I have to pay for it. It says you have to like so many people so they can see your type I guess, and that’s the majority of your clicks already. If someone messages me I can’t view it to respond or see who it is without paying. I understand apps have to do something to make money but completely closing off all options and making someone pay or wait 24 hours, kinda ridiculous. I was just looking for an app to find friends or something more and this app was so talked up, but that’s all it is, just talk. Hopefully something will change to where it’s more of use to people who are broke, but until then I’m probably gonna delete it. I don’t hate the app, it’s probably great if you pay to use all the features, but not for me.

Read Recent Reviews. A scammy cash grab. The replies under comments are incredibly misleading. Apparently they are focusing on more dating oriented features and they list everything you can do which is technically true but it’s incredibly misleading. You can do all of these things with extreme limits. The experience is extremely disappointing and the practices they use are predatory. No matter where you go you’re incredibly limited and a prompt to spend money pops up. The app started out great years ago but it’s just a cash grab focused on taking money out of the pockets of some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Finding friends to build community or a date shouldn’t be behind a paywall on a so called “inclusive app”. It’s also stated that the premium plans are to improve your experience with the app and that it isn’t mandatory to use Taimi is another misleading statement. Yes you can sign up and use it but you can’t do anything of substance. Limited swipes, blurred out profiles, receiving messages you can’t open without paying and before I even finished signing up I had 62 notifications saying someone “liked” me which is ridiculous…Shame on you Taimi what you’re doing is disgusting.

So far so good. I’m enjoying this app so far and I can tell you that I have tried many apps like this and I haven’t been this satisfied. I’m getting more attention than any other app. Although I do wish they were offering a deal for the one month subscription because I’m considering a monthly subscription after my free trial ends. I would really enjoy seeing where we can change our location. Location is very important even knowing where people are that we are looking at. You can like and match all you want but isn’t it important to meet as well? Doesn’t really help if you connect with someone states away. Other than that I think this app could still keep it’s potential as long as they don’t mess up and keep their same mentality. On second thought, I just updated my review because I’m not unhappy. I cannot get this stupid app to update my location. It’s saying my current location is from when I was out of town but I live in San Diego and my location setting is on. I’m now learning the Transwomen are just as bad as the guys from the other dating sites. They talk to you then ghost you for no reason. I was chatting with one before I left for thanksgiving and all of a sudden gone. Someone else reached out then same. Guys seem to be a little better on here. I guess. Maybe. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I just don’t understand how the hell you create an app that lacks the most important thing. Location!

could use A LOT of work. i'll start off by saying the app itself is great , the functionality of it works fine for me. the only thing i do have a issue with or what i want the developers to work on is when u cant see who likes u it really lowers morale. i have the HER app nd it's literally jus like taimi but the only thing is I CAN SEE WHO LIKES ME WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY A SUBSCRIPTION. Two things under this category is 1. why can't i see the person when they like me and comment on my profile? i have loads of likes with comments i can't see, like why not keep regular likes hidden and then likes with comments can be shown? 2. PLEASE add the feature of if both people are online they can see who it is instead of it still being hidden 🤦🏾‍♂️ i literally don't understand this why can't i see someone and they're online with me when they like. i don't know what the fascination is with keeping everyone hidden from each other when the whole point of a dating app IS TO SEE PEOPLE/ THE PERSON !!! if u want to make money cool keep some things how it is for taimi plus ( the go back button ,have unlimited go backs , make video calls bring revenue ) but please let regular users see who likes them

Polished version of Grindr. So I downloaded the app forever ago and forgot I even had it. I’ve been single for some years and wanted to see if maybe I could find a cool person to chat with and see what happens. I’ve matched with some really attractive people and had decent conversations but I started to realize the format of the app is no different than Grindr. Taimi is basically a mixture of tinder and Grindr with the swiping game, and the added options of putting in your sexual position, and interest options such as “leather”, “discreet” and “bdsm”. Oh and you can upload your nakey pics to a private album that people have to request to see, really? There’s enough over sexual stuff within dating apps especially within the LGBT things which Taimi ads of course promise to be the better for LGBT dating in modern dating apps but it’s not really any different. If the private photos and the sexual positions things were removed I think the app would be taken more serious but I know the developers aren’t going to take that into any sort of consideration that they’re really just catering into a sexual market rather than realizing the hardships of modern day dating especially in apps and thinking that maybe it would be nice for people not to be so driven by sexuality, save that for Grindr. I will say it is still one of the nicer apps I’ve used, which is why I’m giving it two stars, but its still lame

This app is all over the place with restrictions. I create an account, add my pictures, bio, interests the whole 9 so I get my first few matches and think everything is fine. I open the app a couple days later and I’m prompted to sign up again like my account got deleted in the 48 hours from my account being created to me opening up the app the second time. So now I’m on my second account with the same pictures, interests, bio all that jazz and now as I swipe I notice I’m being shown the same 6 people and the amount of swipes you get if you’re not paying the premium is around 25 or so and when you couple that with all the repeats you get when you swipe you really get about 10-12 swipes before you’re forced to wait 24 hours until you can swipe again. Since all you do is swipe and hope you get a match, once you hit that limit the app is basically useless and to top it off if you get a like you better hope luck is on your side because you might never see that person come up.

Safety and customer service not a priority for this company. I paid to have the subscription so that I could turn of my location to protect myself when I saw a profile of someone who strongly resembles my abusive ex but was using a different name. They then had a glitch which both deleted everything I had written in my profile but also rest my location to display. This I feel puts me in some potential danger. I probably should have listened to my fear and stayed of the internet altogether after my ex but I wanted to be able to live life again as normally as possible. I trusted this company wrongly. And waisted a lot of money. It’s also a bit of subtle discrimination against survivors of domestic violence and stalking to make you pay to hid your location. When I tried to contact them no one responded on the live chat or the feedback comments. I had paid for three months in advance and barely used one. A refund of some sort would have been nice after the distress this is causing me but really even a response would have been nice. Also I had to fill out the close account thing more then once before I could actually close the account because it glitched out there too and deleted everything I wrote there as well. Bad glitchy app and bad insensitive company.

It was great until it wasn’t.. My profile was disabled without any warning and when I begged to at least be able to get the numbers of the people that I had made a connection with on a friendship level (because that’s what I was there for)...I was told that the decision was final. I uploaded a link to my website in my bio which I honestly did not know was an issue and instead of being disabled temporarily they completely banned me. I can no longer reach out to support and it was totally unfair. There are people on the app that show their body parts or smoke illegally on their lives and get a 30 minute disable warning. I have a really hard time meeting friends and was so excited about the people that I met and that I was able to connect with and was literally about to meet with people to build those friendships but never got their numbers. I think it was totally unfair and rude and the way they responded was terrible. I wish that there was something more to do than just leave a bad review but as I look through the reviews I see that I’m not the only one. Hopefully they see that this is terrible and get it together before another app comes along and takes its place for being so quick to ban someone without a warning. And that is not me wishing any bad on them...I would never do that. Just speaking facts.

Garbage app don’t waste your time or money. Y’all really ran this app off of a cliff and into the ground when you changed up the subscription capabilities of the gold membership from unlimited actions, to 110 actions limit per day, reduced the number of rainbow likes in half, from 10 per week to 5, reduced the number of boosts per week from 3 to 2, and what’s worst of all is the way y’all went about it with complete disregard for those who spent their hard earned money on your app by selling them a subscription package that outlines the different features of the of the Bronze, Silver and Gold packages and then removing the features the user paid for when you updated the above outlined changes that were made to the subscription levels. That is a classic bait and switch scam of your paying users. The app is no longer useful for connecting with other users, and that’s a shame because this app used to be the cream of the crop! I’m afraid that’s no longer the case as the changes stated above have ran off paying customers onto other platforms and I know that because I for one was a paying Customer and now I barely even use the app and honestly will probably just delete it because there’s nothing of any value left on it. I definitely won’t be purchasing any more subscriptions so don’t waste your time with this app there are plenty better ones, this app is a has been.

Thank you Taimi!. So dating as a closeted(for now) trans guy isn't the easiest thing, especially in a very conservative area. I downloaded Taimi to meet friends and maaaaaaybe explore the dating world in a way that I'm comfortable and my identity is respected. I never expected to meet him, but after hours of silly conversations, late night phonecalls, and time spent with someone I think is really amazing, I've got my first serious boyfriend in a healthy and non-toxic relationship. I'm so much happier and can't stop smiling, honestly love him with all I've got and can't wait to see what life's got in store. Huge thank you to the team for making this app such a great place. When the pandemic is over, I look forward to my first real date. Taimi made finding someone that I can trust, open up to, and fall in love with do much easier than I ever thought it would be. Hell, I'm confident enough now, after living out of the closet on Taimi, that I'm planning to come out to my family within the next month or so. Pro tip: the key to finding your perfect match is a witty bio and to be yourself, 100%. There's someone for you out there.

Matching and messaging. 1) I don't know if this is a problem with the actual app or if people are just not reading the profiles. But on my account I had my filters set to world wide. I was matching with people who had their filters set to their own state. And they would get fussy when i would tell them that I'm actually thousands of miles. I kept getting "Well why did you match me if your from ----- and not where I am", which is very frustrating. I don't want to be interrogated cause I matched with someone who looked cute but happened to live far away. 2) This one is a problem with the app. Not being able to respond to people with out paying a subscription?? All messages and likes being in the same page?? And the only way to get rid of it is to unlike someone???? Like the app has had some positive changes from the last time I've used it. Like actually having queer people, and not just straight men. But constantly being told to buy a subscription make the app 10 time more annoying to use.

Kinda disappointed. I had an ok experience with this app. Nothing to really write home about yet nothing to really make a review. Well I decided to recommend it to one of my friends because even though this is a lgbtq dating app there is a lot of straight people on here too. Well when he set up his account they almost immediately banned him. When he got in contact with customer support they basically told him they won’t do anything about it despite just having gotten the app. He’s had this happen with several dating apps recently and I hoped this one would be different and he’d at least have one good experience and find someone that at least treats him better than his ex’s but nope. In their “report” they basically said that his behavior was reported even though he was on a call with me and he had been watching TikTok’s. I’m genuinely disappointed. The only thing I can think of is them thinking he’s lying about his age because he looks much older than he actually is but he had just gotten the app so there’s no was he could have done some bad behavior to get banned about 10 minutes after getting it.

Just awful. Taimi has been the worst dating app experience by far, and I’ve tried many apps. I used Taimi regularly for over 3 months and was a paid subscriber to Taimi Gold (the highest tier) for most of that time. I have never seen so many low-effort, low-quality profiles in one place. The user interface is decent; I liked how you could send a message with your likes and the other person would be able to see it and respond, creating an instant match, which is offered even on the free tier. I quickly matched with many people, but the conversations were so terrible. This is clearly a hookup app and will probably work well for those who are looking for that, but forget about finding meaningful connections. The one decent conversation I had ended up being a person whose marriage status was conveniently missing from their profile. I reported it and that profile is still up as far as I’m aware. You are already in a vulnerable position putting yourself out there on an online platform, putting time, effort and money into it, and to be met with the worst types of people is just sad. I expect that sort of thing on dating apps but it was just bad across the board, even worse than Tinder. I really wanted to like Taimi, but after 3 months of no dates I ended my subscription and deleted the app.

Just a weird and ineffective app. People can send you messages but you can’t reply unless you find them in the card stack and like them first, leaving a lot of messages just sitting in my inbox without me able to reply unless I pay. Also it’s just a really strange app, the way profiles are set up isn’t intuitive or user friendly you have limited options for description, tight character count, and the “I am…” section offers very general and repetitive descriptors. You also have to pay for the most BASIC filters, even just for shortening the radius around you. The community page is also very strange, groups are mostly inactive, your posts are just dumped into the void for any random person to see- not at all based on proximity or any kind of algorithm, and the same goes for yourself when your feed is filled with just random people from random states that you’d never be able to meet in person. The whole app feels unfinished and scammy.

They don’t care about you, Creating My own LGBTQ+ App. They ban you without hearing your side. So to my fellow LGBTQ+ members, I want to start off by saying, this was a great app until my previous statement about banning. I’m going to create an app which requires you to only pay $24 a year, totaling $2 per month so for our community it’s not expensive to find people that have the same things in common the same preferences etc., I know that I wish I could make the app free but I will not be able to do so being that everyone needs to make money somehow and they’ll definitely need money to make the app available for everyone to use. I know that there’s so many of us and I’m tired of being banned by ignorance when these companies don’t even try to find out our side just the other person’s side. I will definitely be in competition with these other LGBTQ+ communities but I assure you I will be reading everyone’s side and overlooking with there permission I will not leave you hanging without a solid answer. Not sure on the name yet but I will let you all know when it does happen.

Good, needs to be better. Overall I like this app, and its user base, better than any other I’ve tried over the years. There is a huge amount of good and useful information presented, and the security seems better than most. Yes there are some flaky users, that can’t be helped, there is a mechanism to block them. There are some issues I’d love to see fixed so I can give that final fifth star: Face ID doesn’t work. It doesn’t try, it defaults to passcode every time. Yes it crashes, sometimes very very often. Mostly when scrolling down through groups, or the Digest. It seems to crash most when an ad would be the next thing up. And since I’ve paid for full features I’d like to have the ads gone anyway. I can’t find any way to see people who I have liked but not responded yet to me. The Digest seems to be in random order and there’s no way to control it. There is a huge amount of information presented, but the layout and menus are really tragic. The taps necessary to open a group, for example and other activity. Somehow it needs a major navigation cleanup. It would be nice if some part of the verification included a GPS location confirmation. I’ve encountered two European users with USA locations, one of whom was verified. Let’s see what can be done to improve things, please…

Some of the most annoying notifications. I found when I downloaded Taimi that some of the more attractive dating users were on that site, and it seemed like I was having more success with it than with apps like Tinder or Hinge. However that success seemed to evaporate after a couple days. Now Taimi seems to be trying to keep me active by sending notifications about “hottest story of the day” from some user who I never gave a second thought to. What can I do with that “story”? Any time I try to message the person, they read it and ignore the message. So... did I gain anything from watching or reading their “story”? I’ve never found stories useful on Snapchat, Facebook, or Instagram, so why would I want to see them on Taimi? They’re just millennial traps. But at the very least, can I please be able to turn off notifications about stories I don’t give a rat’s behind about? I also keep getting notified about new users near me. Again... don’t care, didn’t need a push notification. Last but not least, I get prompted to upgrade EVERY SINGLE TIME I open the app. Not even Tinder is that aggressive.

Got Banned for NO reason!. I met this person on Taimi and gave them my snapchat, as well as probably four other people. Just to make NEW FRIENDS. Which is literally what the app is made for !! The person that added me was talking really nasty so I blocked them. And all of a sudden IM BANNED. I then put two and two together and I assumed that I was banned because they reported me. I emailed Taimi and asked them to unban me. They took the other persons side. They literally told me that I was reported by multiple people, when I know it’s just one! They also said that I was banned because I “spam messaged” people. which never happened. Also isn’t even a reason for being banned in the first place. Which for sure isn’t what it was. THEY assumed i was a sex worker when I gave my snapchat name out a few times. WHICH is disgusting because I am a woman!! I told them I never once mentioned sex work. Nor did I ever say it was a premium. They told me THAT THEY DON’T WANT ANYONE GAINING MORE FOLLOWERS. But want all LGBTQ+ to meet and love each other. YEAH right. Sick, disgusting, app I don’t recommend to anyone !

So. Much. Potential!. So far, I'm loving the concept of this app!!! Tbh, I downloaded it just to find some hook-ups, but then I found so much more than swiping! There's a pretty cool community once you weed out those who are there to abuse/ misuse the site. So, apart from the pretty wholesome friends/ encounters I have made, I feel like I have a place to be my queerest self! It seems the moderators are still trying to work out the kinks, when I'd really like to see is them work around the kinky. 😈 That's what makes us queer. I was feeling cute on Valentine's day. I wanted to share my look with friends and do some bubble gum tricks. So I did my first Live! A few of my new friends and recent hookups popped on and sent cute encouragement. I was just there to blow bubbles and have fun. The live got taken down on my second bbgum trick. It said I violated something. I don't know what I violated and I didn't see a way to find out or report it so I'm annoyed I haven't been able to use that function properly. My live was so wholesome. 😔 I really like this space. It feels like the queer mingling space I've always wanted. I want to give 5 stars but I don't think the app is there yet.

How do I put this…. This app is both the best and worst I’ve ever used. I get a decent amount of likes, however, they are not mutual so it would be awesome if I didn’t see the same profiles 20 times per month. I’m in a city and I see new profiles frequently, but the ones I’ve disliked on multiple times always start off my feed. It’s almost like they’re the receptionists to greet me on my way to browsing. Then I get an ad for Taimi gold or whatever. “You just missed a potential match!” Oh no. Anyway. The notifications for this app are hilarious and I love how bad they are. I appreciate a horrid little “😮‍💨NEW (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝︎ LIKE😮‍💨” coming across my screen. Also, I got a notification for a like from MONTHS ago I matched with. I got my hopes up for nothing, as he was no longer on the app. Devastated. At least Tinder has my back. This app is FOR YOU if you like a little ego boost. As you can see from how I’ve written this review, I do. I do not recommend it for marriage material, but it’s decent for friends and feeling better about your physical form. Recommendation: make a feature to filter poly relationships and/or hookups. I am not poly and I’m tired of getting interested in someone only for them to want me to become intimate with their partner as well. That is just not for me, and a toggle for this would be splendid. It’s better than Grindr, but Grindr is a very low bar. Love the app, but I also don’t. Cheers

gettin there. i’ve been on taimi since i came out it’s where I met my current partner of a couple years. and i love the software updates although they were a bit long winded at first it still learns well. the secret photo update is pretty awesome the fact y’all loosened up on nudity regulations on a completely adult app makes total sense to me. the deals for first time subscribing is also pretty nifty and even gold at $10 for a month is completely reasonable with all the bonuses. personally however i would love to see an update in the future where you can list that you’re in a relationship (poly, open, experimenting, etc)not only that you’re poly or in the “about me” so that others would not only be aware right of the bat that you’re in a relationship but what type of relationship you’re in with you’re partner(s). another area i’d love to see something similar incorporated into is the ability to see who you’re in a relationship with kinda like ok facebook and with consent from both parties be able to have them (your partner[s])added to your profile. i know in the new *vibes* section you can add that you’re poly or mono or but it’s on the second page of the info.

Awesome App! Totally Recommended!. I just want to express my great satisfaction with this app. I’ve been single for quite awhile and have tried several different dating apps. I never really had any luck. Then I would end up seeing tons of ads about Taimi. Honestly I was very skeptical to download it as I thought it was just another hook up app and I wanted something serious. So it took me several months of being haunted by the ads before I actually conceded and downloaded the app. I read several reviews before hand and how people were complaining about the subscription but I guess they did not read the fine print that the automatic renewal needs to be cancelled before the trial ends to avoid getting charged. The app was definitely free to use. It was easy to use and has the same swiping mechanics as the other apps. The only difference is you can tell the people who liked you and also it works like a social media app too with it facebook-like scheme. I am very satisfied with it because I finally able to find someone that I really like, we’ve been dating for more than a month now and recently became official too as we were hitting off really great. I’m so happy right now. Thank you to the Taimi Team. I definitely recommend this app to other people to use.

The only thing thats kind of irritating is the subscription smh but still, its a great service and I'm able to make great connections with everyone and the people I'm interested and that I like, regardless. I say, I give this app 5 stars anyways bc you definitely can make a lot of great friends here and sheesh, I really love this app. Its pretty cool, and Way Way better than all these other apps, the birds can go have the rest hehe. I don’t even write reviews but whew. I’ve read the other comments and noticed that this was a problem with other people so I decided to say my piece as well. I got banned for no reason. This creepy guy was talking to me and he reported me when I didn’t give him what he wanted. It got me permanently banned. On this app, it’s a matter of who gets to the report button first and is based completely on hearsay. The first time I tried to talk to support about it they said some crap like I got reported multiple times by people. Which doesn’t even make any sense because if they bothered to check my messages and history, they would see that I have regular conversations with people. I came today to see if I was still banned (and I was) so I went to support to try and bring the problem to them again. And this time support said I got banned bc I didn’t verify my account and I was “using someone else’s photos.” First of all, if verifying your account is that important, make it mandatory. Like when you’re setting up your account, make the person verify or they can’t go any further. Second, since they said I was using someone else’s photos, I asked if I could verify it bc I am who I say I am and they denied me. Third, why are you saying I got banned for something else this time when you said something different the first time? Anyway, this app is trash regarding this part of it and I wish they would get it together.

*censored*. This app started out alright, and then gradually got worse over time to the point where now it’s completely irredeemable. BEWARE. If you’re male and you post anything even SLIGHTLY eluding to the idea that you may be “looking for fun” or anything bordering the edge of any kind of intimacy, the moderators will censor your post in 1.5 seconds flat with no explanation as to what you did wrong. If you post ANYTHING even REMOTELY critical of the app, leftist views, or anything that may be held in some kind of regards to whatever faceless potato is moderating the content, you will be censored. It seems everyone has the ability to erase messages for both themselves and you, but as far as I know, if you have your profile settings set to “straight” and “male”, you do not have the option to erase messages for the other person. Are the creators of the app saying that in the case of a potential crime, ONLY straight males should have digital evidence provided against them in court? Bottom line, this app openly discriminates against people who do not identify themselves as either a woman or LGBTQ+. This app is the bottom of the barrel as far as dating apps go, and an excellent example of why each and every day, Big Tech is consistently proving more and more why they cannot be trusted by the consumers.

was great, but now..... i’ve been using this app for about 2 months now but have made the decision to delete my account and the app. it used to show likes and let you like back from the notifications but now it’s blurred and you have to pay to see the likes. i am highly disappointed in your decision to implement that paywall. seeing as that was one of the main reasons i used your app. it’s a lovely app for LGBTQIA+ people and i enjoyed using it the little bit that i did, but taking away the main thing keeping on your app was a mistake. so i recommend it if you’re fine with that restriction, but i know I and a few other people i’ve talked to are taking our dating and social app needs elsewhere. if you ever decide to remove the paywall and make it the way it used to be, i would consider coming back to the app. i really am disappointed because i loved using the app but i am not going to pay for it. especially for a feature that was previously free. rethink your decisions, you’re going to lose users.

Tami just wants Money! Not connecting the community. This App is horrible it won’t even let me write a honest review. It crashed three times before I could even write this out. They are forcing you to make in app purchases by taking everything down. It’s impossible to meet anyone when you have nothing to even interact with people on. You only have the option to swipe now that’s it. They added cards for you to post but it goes straight to your profile so nobody is seeing it unless they come across your profile. Unlike posting it to the feed and everybody can interact like they use to have but they took that down. They have the option to upload videos but the videos won’t even show up after you selected them and the old videos you had on your profile before the update were erased but it says it’s still in your selections but even the selection videos won’t show up. You have to pay to see likes, go live and more. They took down the friend request button. Lastly, the users are boring and dry. Most post use to be by women looking for a third and it has straight men everywhere as well. The app was made for the LGBTQ+ but it’s really not for them. The users are not worth the money and the app is not even fun it’s completely boring at this point.

No screenshots allowed. Had the app for a day. App is ok overall. Biggest downside is that I can’t screenshot profiles. I’m not the best of judgement when it comes to dating so I like to screenshot and share profiles to friends so they can help me judge. Can’t do that here due to the app’s “screenshot protect”. Best I can do to share profiles is to send a link which forces my friends to download the app (not something they want to do and I def don’t want to make them either) or to show them my phone in person for them to judge them. I could always take a picture using a different phone but why should I even bother with that if I could just, you know, take a screenshot? Since I’ve only had the app for a day, I haven’t checked to see if I’m also restricted from screenshotting conversations because I’d like to know if there are red flags I’m missing and I’m pretty sure you can’t exactly share a convo via link. Might give up on using the app because of the lack of being able to take screenshots, no way am I making my friends make accounts so they can check a profile. If screenshots were available, I’d be more inclined to use the app.

Account disabled and support taking ages. I don’t normally write reviews but oh my God. I mainly got this app at a recommendation from a friend. It was going all right so far, sure there were a couple things I was annoyed with but it was overall fine. Until one time I got on the app and I found out my account was disabled. The only rule I could think I might have violated/got reported for was being under age which I am very much not. It was a common comment from people on the app that I looked very young for my age which I am used to getting the same comment in real life. It was nothing I haven’t heard before. So I can only imagine that was the reason why my account was disabled. I clicked to contact support about it and the system told me to send in a picture to confirm my identity. Once I did, they told me to wait, which is totally fine but I am on the verge of now waiting quite a few days just to get a response back and have yet to hear from them. I ended up just getting annoyed and deleting the app. I have seen many profiles that have been labeled as suspended but I didn’t think I’d be one of them. It was an overall decent app for a while until this happened. I can’t say I’m not disappointed.

Constant Downhill Spiral, Money Making Scheme. A year and a half ago, I would have given this app 5 stars. But over the past year, this app has hit a decline and never stopped going down from there. When I first started using the app in 2020, you could message people without sending a like, you could send friend (and follow) requests, you could comment back and forth on peoples posts freely. Every day, you got to spin a wheel and you’d get a reward like a “rewind”to go back on a like or dislike, a rainbow like, stuff like that. There was a section to post ✨spicy✨ pictures, which you could grant people access to (for free but only so many times). You could see everyone who liked your profile. You could search for people in your area. You could pay for premium to get unlimited rainbow likes, rewinds, boosts, change your distance and age range, etc. Then, slowly, stuff started disappearing. You couldn’t see who liked your profile anymore. There was no more daily wheel. No more ✨spicy✨ photo section. No more search. Then there was no more sending messages if you hadn’t shared a mutual like or accepted a friend request. And now, the friend and follow requests are gone. It’s disappointing. This app was a really cool, safe place for queer people to come and meet other queer people in the area. Literally one of the only queer catered apps there are. And now it’s become a completely locked down app completely set up to make money off of a minority.

This is the dumbest app I have ever used, i tried to reupload my profile picture with my face in it 10,000 times and it kept saying it was “inappropriate” somehow until I realized that the app was trying to tell me that I can’t upload a photo without my face or a blurry photo as a profile picture, even though what I was trying to upload was literally that, a clear quality, photo of my face, and yet i can’t upload it, even though I followed your rules. And no, I’m not gonna try another photo of my face. That is the ONE photo I wanted to use that is showing my face, since I don’t want to show my face besides that photo yet because, first of all, I’m a trans female/crossdresser but I don’t even have a wig yet and my hair right now is atrocious, that is why there was only one photo with my face I was willing to upload because it’s the only one I think looks good in the context of the rest of my profile. But no, I can’t even do that, because apparently my face is blurry or something even though it was a perfectly fine picture.... either let me upload a part of my body other than my face as my profile picture or let me upload any face picture regardless of whether you think it’s “blurry” or not... or I can just go on with my day, give you this 1 star, and forget your app ever existed. I’ll just go find a good app, an app that actually cares about my privacy and insecurities

I didn’t know it could get worse!. The second paragraph is the review I made last month. Taimi has had ANOTHER downgrade since then. Now the profiles are super clunky and they obscure a lot of important information. Bios got cut in half despite taking up the whole screen now. Instead of telling us what state someone lives in, it just says United Sates. I have no idea where anyone lives. Even though I have gold premium, the people who match with me don’t, so they are usually super far away. This is such a shame. Worst pride month ever! Taimi is unusable now! This app used to be awesome! About a year ago. In Autumn, Taimi got rid of the option to view who is online and to view unread messages, then the daily stories disappeared, then we could no longer have social media links, then the friend list system disappeared. Finally, Taimi got rid of the option to search for people with compatible roles (top/bottom/versatile). What’s the point of an LGBT-themed app without that feature? Taimi keeps loosing its best features! It is also expensive to access the basic features Taimi has left.

Used to be good. Taimi used to be one of the best apps out there to meet other LGBT folks. Now everything is behind a paywall to the point where I can barely interact with anyone anymore. It’s frustrating because it really is a nice, safe app with a great user interface but now it has so many unnecessary features designed only to restrict free users and prompt more people to spend money. I wouldn’t mind if some of the extra features were reserved for premium users but now I can’t even like people back or respond to a majority of my messages which defeats the whole point of using the app. Apparently now you can only like people through the discovery feature, but they can’t like you back directly or view your profile so you just have to hope they also stumble across your profile and match with you. Before this update, the main way I met people was seeing who liked my profile or commented and liking them back or messaging them since there are just too many people to weed through in the discovery page. But now I can’t do this anymore so it’s much harder to meet anyone. Overall a frustrating downgrade from what used to be a fairy great app.

Be ready to get banned for no reason. I was banned for no reason and cannot make a new account of any kind; ever, because of violating a rule that I didn’t know was a rule. To be clear, they do NOT have a valid terms of use or list or rules that clearly defines what the rules are, and among the “violations” that can get you banned for life include things like: having an only fans, simply having one, even if you don’t promote it within the app; crossdressing (which infringes upon LGBT rights of self expression and is completely unacceptable on the app developers part); and looking for a younger/older partner in a sugar daddy type of way. Other behaviors they don’t like will also get you kicked despite the fact that there is NO list of rules anywhere on the site for you to go over ahead of the ban, and you receive no advance warning. I want to know from the developers, why do you run such a hostile, hateful and non inclusive environment? You are targeting the LGBT community with hate tactics and you are showing your true colors as an enemy of the community, not an ally, and you need to answer for your wrongdoing. You don’t want us, and we don’t want you either.

One of the better dating apps but it's definitely not perfect. So for the most part this is the main dating app I've been using. It's easy to set up a profile and I would say pretty user friendly. I like all the information you can put into it. The biggest issue I'vs found is that it frequently gives me people who I've already swiped away from. I think I've had to "reject" multipe profiles 5+ times because it recycles the people who I've swiped away. The other issue I've encountered is that people who are out of my age range are allowed to like me. I would say at least 50% of my liked are above the age range that I am looking for. I'm 19 and I frequently get people in their 30's or 40's liking me. I also have the same issue with straight men liking me. This is an LGBT dating app I dont even know why there are straight people on here. I am a trans man and I get a lot of people liking and messaging me that have their profile set to straight and they say they are looking for "women and trans men". I wish there was a way to report people for being a chaser and using an app meant to be a safe space for LGBT people as a way to fetishise us. I have matched with a few people on here but there's also a lot of crap I need to swipe through.

Pay To Block People (Dont Install, Read)!!!. I had to gold subscription and ran out of swipes. It used to be unlimited up until recently but of course they’re slowly taking away everything good in the app thinking no one will notice. It says im out of actions and cant even block anyone. This is a safety concern and it sounds very illegal. The team keeps saying its for genuine reactions and that they’re “delivering requested improvements.” But im sure noo one asked for that. I had this app for years. I actually considered it a 5 star app now its in the negatives. If you actually cared about your users, you’d actually listen instead of telling us why you think its a good thing. If the users don’t agree then I think its time to listen. $9.99 to reset actions on a gold subscription its crazy. Its about genuine reactions, but all that goes out the window if we pay for it. I was there when they had group chats, personal preference filters, and alot more. 90% of the reviews are complaining and nothing is being done about it. I dont remember one update that was actually an improvement. Mostly came to find out good features were gone. Not to mention the price increase. Just please add something useful and listen to people. This definitely isn’t about the lgbt community anymore it’s about money and alot of people agrees, we’re not stupid

Overwhelmed and disappointed. I usually dont do reviews but I’m sad about this app. I downloaded taimi because of all of the advertising I had seen on tiktok. I wanted to find friends in the lgbtq community and talk to pretty girls. I made my account, and set my preferences to 50 miles and 19-26 years old. The app immediately started showing me people from different states all the way across the country, and even showed me a 65 year old man. I went and checked the filters, I don’t know why they would ask if they weren’t even going to do anything with them. Anyway, the app was FLOODED with straight men. People can message you without matching first so within the first 20 minutes I already had 16 messages, one of the first messages was a straight man telling me how much he wanted to watch me drool on his “8 inch”. The notifications didn’t stop, you got them for everything. If someone liked you, messaged you, or even just viewed your profile. It was very overwhelming and I ended up deleting my account and the app off of my phone. I just wanted to make friends and talk to pretty girls.

0/10 GREED HAS TAKEN OVER THIS APP. First of if I could give this app a zero I would’ve done so. I have been using this app since their launch. At first it was great, FREE, and their features were interactive. They used to have live features that were so fun. Now it is completely more focused on dating and connecting which is perfectly fine except the developers have chosen to monetize everything and in turn creating an environment where it is hard to connect with people and find the app enjoyable to use unless you subscribe to them. At any route you take and feature you tap into it suggests you to subscribe to proceed. It has gotten to the point where it is getting annoying and unbearable. I thought someone has finally made an app that understood the LGBTQ+ needs but no they choose to limit our dating pool as if it is not already limited. The whole point of this app was to connect with people it’s supposed to be free. Oh yes basic free membership can also be enjoyable but you also have to dig through a bunch of blurred profiles to continue chatting with your mutual matches. It is annoying. Please stop wasting your money on this app so that they realize what they are doing. This should be a hate crime.

On the fence. I redownload this app often. Sometimes it good then it’s changed again. It’s improved a whole lot over the years. I was really happy with it until about a week ago. I can’t add a bio anymore it turned into a text post which is so ugly on the profile. Let alone the fact that I can’t even edit it. It’s also annoying that I can’t rearrange the photos on how they show up on my profile. The only option is the delete it. I don’t have some of the photos I uploaded on there in my gallery anymore. There’s no way to change the photos around. The app also seems to like profiles that I didn’t. I’m glad there’s a like history. I can unlike the ones I didn’t swipe on. I know I didn’t swipe on a lot of those cause I’ve only swiped right a few times. It was good before when you could see there pictures at the top then their bio underneath. Then you could click on there profile to see more. I just have mixed feelings about this app. Of course it’s my only option cause other apps seem more straight oriented and hookup based.

Great App!. It’s a pretty cool app, very easy and super friendly to use. You can make guys around ur local zone, share picture of ur social media’s and more. It’s the first time that I use the app but is really great to make new people, friends and inclusive got a daily roulette where every day gives you pretty nice gifts and free liberty to used them. Now the few things that doesn’t like it of the app is that when someone send you a message for most that ur watching the screen sometimes the app sends you the notification and sometimes not, you’ve got to open the app and check if someone sends you a message and is a little bit disgusting that, the other thing that dislike it is that the app doesn’t have any kind of age bar selection or anything like that so would be most than great that the app add one on the nexts upgrades. But the rest everything is most than great, really like it, really recommended and very sure so you doesn’t have to worries bout nothing.

A masterclass in how not to build & operate an app. Taimi is a must have class in how you don’t build and run an app. The app started off incredible, features not seen anywhere else. Great UI, and a refreshing ability to build community as well as date. And then the greed kicked in, I mean why else would they make some of the most abhorrent UI/UX decisions every seen by far? It feels like they’re own by match— but not even match would do make of the bone head choices Taimi has made. Its thats a shocker. Why continue to take the legs from under your user base with nonsense features,the removal of great features, and more money traps? Interestingly enough the community, at the beginning of launch, would proudly have crowd funded new features. As well keep the app enjoyable and popular. Thats If, Taimi had asked us to do so, the queer community knows how to unify behind a cause we see worthy. But clearly the company doesn’t think ahead or out of the box. Many of you ( corporations) see communities like this as desperate and so, easy to shake down for profits. With that said, I hope your ratings continue to fall. Hopefully you all will go back to what made your platform unique. Time and time again, developers today seem to have a hard time realizing its about user focus. If you wrap your arms around your user base. The users will take care of you. Taimi is a great example of how you fail despite having all the tools for success in front of you.

Disabled account. My account got disabled after maybe 40 minutes, I hadn’t done anything against the guidelines, and when I explained this to the support team they said I had multiple reports but couldn’t explain why. I asked if it was my about me or my photos and they told me the email address of the account in return. Really upset that I don’t know why I got kicked off and that they couldn’t even say what it was regarding. Support team was unhelpful to say the least.

User Never Friendly. Most features are pat to use. Sending messages that someone has liked me but not enabling me to see them at all but not removing notifications for that person is annoying. The whole app is a cool concept but it’s very greedy. Had it for less than a day before I deleted it

Worst app in the world don’t even bother. I was using this app for a few weeks and really enjoyed it. I was respectful and making new relationships, i get off the app for a week or two and suddenly im band them claiming that they had reports and evidence that i was fraudulently making accounts THIS WAS MY FIRST ACCOUNT unbelievable truly unprofessional do not download this app.

Forcing memberships. There’s nothing much to say, the app does its job well and functions well, the only problem is the fact that Taimi blocks 95% of my matches and forces me to get a membership just to have the privilege to be able to talk to not just 5% of what matches it allows me to see

Free trial. Yeah let’s try this and pay $7.49 afterwards for bronze which costs more than silver and yet can’t even see who liked you in bronze. Charging $7.49 per week is also pathetic. Forcing people to pay big backs for a simple app is disgusting. I can pay $2.49 per month and play a game that is so immersive yet these pathetic developers feel the need to force us to pay! Time to push back on these types of developers!

So Greedy!. The costs for an XL account is way too high. They set random things for XL only that makes using the app for free useless. Why would I use a dating app where I’m going to be getting people 80km away, which is the limit for max distance the app allows when using it for free. You’re better off using tinder or Grindr because they have better distance management, you can set better filters and the quality of the app is much better. Also what’s the point of asking me what my preferences in someone is if you’re just going to give me everyone on the app. If I don’t want a particular thing don’t continually show me people with that thing. To sum up, would not recommend.

WORST. Literally was banned for something i didnt even do. They stated i was asking for money which I would NEVER do. My account was deleted and banned no investigation no nothing EVEN when i asked their online support why i was banned for no reason and all i recieved was “sorry cant reverse it” So im deprived of making new friends because of something that was false and then i was told that my account cannot be changed and it will stay banned. Seriously im beyond upset dont bother with this app its an actual joke i paid for member ship on the app for a while but stopped because i didnt use it much. First two to three days back onto it and this is what i get.

7+ Million in My City and only around 100 or so uses this. Poor Advertising for this app so the whole function of using it is not to its best advantage. It’s such a-shame for Australia (Sydney in my case) that I get charged $10+ for a weeks use and there’s only 2 or so possible matches not just for me but I think every user. If this was advertised more in the lower use areas then that would bring more people in and worth actually getting a membership as such. The worse $10 I’ve ever spent on the App Store and I’ve been riding apps since they were born. I do however give an extra star for the stealth mode and verification options.

False account. I have not used this app before but someone has made an account using my photos, when trying to contact support it was responded with how to delete the app and I had no help. I had a relationship that thought I was on a dating app and I had absolutely no help taking it down.

More free likes allowed. Should be 3 days of premium when you sign up then bring in the restrictions

Hello there!. The app is wonderful better than most dating apps but my problem is straight people are on this app when this app is meant for people who are lgbtqia+ .... it’s just annoying when I see straight people on the app this dating app is meant a safe space for queer people

It deletes ur account without ur knowledge and u lose everything, it also loses ur premium so don’t buy it’s not worth it, and no matter how many times I swipe off someone they keep popping up on my page later on, and the filter doesn’t even matter due to u still getting people that are NOT in ur preferred filter range like what’s the point in that if ur still gonna get random creepy 50 yr olds tryna talk up to u? oh and another issue there are SO many cis hetero people on this app even tho it’s MEANT for LGBTQ+ people, there are so many other apps for that so there’s really no need to use this one, so thanks a lot Taimi. 😟

Free version now useless to me. I find Taimi fairly unuser friendly now that most features are pay to use. I started using it before that dreaded update and still have it but rarely look at it as it takes time and effort just to filter and find people who are local. I can’t afford to pay for dating apps. Other apps offer more usability before their paywall hits.

Falsely Banned. False accusations were made against me causing my account to be banned, when asking support team to help me out, they were only able to respond with “People complaint about you’re behaviour”. I’ve had people tell me they’re reporting me cause I don’t reply on time. I have been treating everyone with respect. I think this is absolutely awful on behalf of Taimi and if they can’t help their clients who have been following the rules. Then they shouldn’t be developing a app or be able to have a proper support team that can actually help. Absolute rubbish.

Notification settings don’t work. I find the frequent notifications annoying so I went to settings and turned them all off except for messages but I still kept getting the same as before. I decided to uninstall because if I turn off all notifications in iOS settings and can’t get just messages only then it’s not a great user experience. No reason why other people shouldn’t try this out

The worst app I’ve used in a long time.. I have had this app for about 6 months and it’s been riddled with bug after bug after bug and the support team have tried to tell me the app has been fixed when on my end it obviously hasn’t. All they seem to do is give me the run around when I complain to the support team. I’m over it. I would not recommend anyone use this app ever!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Very dull and changed for the worst. Was a good app when it first came out. Now with all the changes, I wouldn’t bother with it. Was happy with how it was for the first couple of months but unfortunately everything is behind a pay wall. There are plenty of other apps that have better UI and more features that are free.

Something wrong! Doesn’t proceed setup. What the f**??I just downloaded the app yesterday and while setup it goes to the screen asking for “ Set your Age Preference” and no matter what age range I set ( definitely more than 5 years) it gives me no option to either Continue or Skip like previous screens. It just seems stuck on the screen no matter what you do to the age slider and does not proceed to the next screen. Tried delete and reinstall multiple times but no go. Just took my number to create a login and a pic and the profile setup goes nowhere to completion. Unable to use!

Confusing and pushy. I get that apps that offer a paid version like you to take up the paid version. But this one sure is pushy. It basically presets a paid option and you have to work out how to close this, ie not choose ANY of the different length subscriptions, in order to try the free option. Then you’re just kind of thrown into it. Minimal interface guidance. The pushiness even extended to making it hard to delete an account. Hide, pause... oh yeah, a tiny deletion option in faint grey at the bottom. That just left an even worse taste. If you want my business, build a relationship of trust. You would think a dating app of all things would understand that.

Issues. It keep finding the wrong location and there is no where to edit the location manually !

Immediately paying?. Downloaded the app, got through making a profile & before I could even look at anyone/start swiping it immediately asks to pay for a subscription. Nothing about a free trial & wouldn’t even let me leave the page so I could exit out of a subscription. Extremely extremely disappointing for someone who has just started on the app. Won’t even bother

Unaware & Using The Wrong Word. I got no intention to called someone “sugar daddy”, and my account being suspended permanently can’t even have it back just because I am using the wrong word without any intention. I have contacted the support team but still useless, no solution. Besides, other women can post sexual content showing their body. Meanwhile I posted a professional bikini picture, my picture being taken off from that site.

Lost my account but that’s okay. I randomly got kicked out of my main account and can’t get back in for some reason. Despite that issue I still quite like Taimi and just use a second account. As a trans person it can be quite difficult to find people that are interested in you but taimi makes it a little easier since only people that have filtered for trans people will pop up for you. It does lead to the possibility of finding chasers but it’s not as bad or sexual as Grindr. I’m surprised with how much more popular taimi has gotten and it’s a good thing if it continues growing. Taimi used to have lots of features that were free but nowadays they are gated by a paywall. It’s not the end of the world though. You can still have a decent experience with Taimi.

Terrible support.. I logged out of my account to let a friend borrow my account. When i logged back in, i found that Taimi had banned my account and customer support wasn’t any help. When i contacted support for help, they didn’t give me any and won’t even tell me what i did specifically wrong. I will be warning my friends to stay away.

I downloaded this app cause it was free but to even open message or message people back you have to pay anywhere from 11 bux to 24 bux and that’s ridiculous and even if you have paid you still have to pay even more to answer messages like what a freakin money grab all I want is some freakin friends!?!?

A paid feature needs to go.. In the app you have to pay to see people that are closer to you. For a dating app your app makes no sense. How are people supposed to go on dates and make connections and not to mention making people pay to make connections is just wrong in every way. Disappointed. The app itself is fine, I’ve made some great friends and met some great people. But Taimi has created a feature I think is awful... some people are only visible with ‘Taimi Bronze’. YOU HAVE TO PAY TO SEE AND INTERACT WITH ‘popular’ people. This is not only dumb, but it’s annoying as hell. What a terrible feature.

So far so trash. Once you match with a few people, you begin to see likes that you can’t even view at all, basically attempting to get you to pay for the app. Can’t even tell if they are real people liking you or not, as profile is completely hidden except for a name. A lot of the profiles also seem like fake bot profiles as there is tons of profiles with just one photo and no bio and it’s never a mutual match, the incoming likes hidden likes are never through a mutual match while swiping. I get it, they made an app to capitalize on the dating scene, but you basically get no features without paying.. it’s stupid.

What happened!?. This app used to be silver! All the social networking, posting, friending, grouping, search functions made this the go-to app. I connected with so many new people and made so many new friends. But now they’ve trimmed down all the good features in favour of simple swipe dating stuff and made it less-worth subscribing to. Very bad decision-making from the men upstairs on this one.

Notification Nation. This app needs to slow the f down on the notification front. I got over 100 last night and I have had it for less than 24 hours. It’s intrusive. I’ve matched with 4 people. I don’t need to know every time someone visits my profile.

Pure profit. This app goes through the process of making an account with you and nag ware pops up on every screen. Then when you do match, it requires you to pay to see them. So why not just mention this is a paid only app

Garbage under new pay system. I’ve had this app for awhile to find friends. Got lots of matches, but only 1 in 25 or so were actually close enough to me to make it viable to meet in person (regularly got people from other provinces and countries) and were also looking for the same thing as me. Like most apps even the people I did match with we generally stopped talking within a week. Now it is strictly pay to play, so instead of 25 matches to consider I have 2 (because they pay premium to be seen). If I want to even see the profile of the others I have to pay $90.99 for the year, or I can get 3 days free to experience what they already gave me for free before, and then pay $6.49 a week (that’ll be $337.48 a year now). They built a solid app and let people use it for free (there was a premium option still for extra features), but realized they wanted more money so they took the good reviews for a completely different product to keep them for this new one. Unless you want to spend big to see anyone who matches with you, don’t bother. It’s a 100% garbage app now because The developers are greedy af.

Unwanted charges. I understand that subscription terms were probably written out somewhere and that I probably didn’t read them closely enough... however it makes logical sense that if someone DELETES their account that their subscription to the service should be CANCELLED. You should really fix that. It looks like a lot of other people have had the same problem where they kept getting charged even after they stopped using your app. I had to google search how to cancel my subscription through AppleID settings... that is not very user-friendly at all. There should be a simple option to opt out of the subscription and cancel account through the app. Or make it VERY CLEAR in big bold letters that you will still be charged after deleting and then show me a step-by-step diagram of how to unsubscribe from payments. That would be my suggestion to you. Otherwise, your users will continue to feel scammed and annoyed and write bad reviews like this one :)

Disappointed.. All lesbians that have been in the local dating world in recent years know how trashy tinder-like apps are for women who love women. We’re constantly looked over in favor of heteros, gay men, and couples “looking for their unicorn” (to each their own). I assumed that this app might be a little different, after seeing quite a few ads made by women. I thought hey, maybe there’s some semblance of representation left here for me. So I downloaded Taimi and entered some of my basic information, and briefly applauded the app for including transgender and non-binary identities. Unfortunately this was short lived when I reached an “I am” section editing my profile. I was excited I could maybe finally have “butch” or “futch” as a descriptor on my profile, and say that I’m looking for femmes... but no. Of course not. The only options are fetish terms used by and for gay men. Save the options “queer” and “other.” Come on... do better. If you’re going to advertise to WLW then give us something to stay on your app for.

Taimi’s Support Team is Disrespectful and One-sided. To create a safe environment, one must eradicate issues that violate policies. However, there are violations that can be misconstrued in intentions within violations. Such as, Sugardaddies or attaching cash apps to the bio. Harmless intentions for bold violations. These things get you easily booted from the system and is seen as micro-managing a LGBT environment, in which, we don’t receive various freedoms that we would in a smaller dating pool but a more inclusive policy and lesser strain on reprimanding violations. I would consider Tinder any day over an aggressive system bent on punishing users for small discrepancies and violations. This is especially important considering the LGBT community being a pinholed minority in the world of online dating and it’s important to cultivate that arena in a positive and healthy manner with the benefit of a doubt. After reading other reviews, I’m disappointed to see that I’m not the only one that’s had to face this hellbent ridicule at the end of a harmless violation.

Too much to pay for, not enough users. Update: I do believe “limited actions” is a new one. There shouldn’t be 3 whole tiers of paying. No dating app should have ever gone that far, almost all of them are doing this while hiking up prices. There should be 1 tier and done. I remember when you could see whoever looked at your profile or liked you for FREE. Not worth purchasing these things when there aren’t enough people on this app Old part of review: I live in a pretty heavily populated suburban area surrounding a major city. There’s a really small amount of users... and I’m afraid I’m being shown profiles that haven’t been used in months. Inactive profiles should automatically be filtered out. I don’t like how a majority of likes are from far away people. I’ve never made a meaningful connection on here with anyone. There needs to be more promotion for this app or something.

!!!NO PREMIUM NO ACCOUNT!!!. So recently I have had 2 of my accounts banned. The first time they stated that it was because they suspected me of using fake photos (verified my identity) then the second time for “asking or sharing financial information” which was never done. What I DID DO both times was send my phone number to other matched users on both accounts which led to my account being banned immediately after. But quite interestingly enough, when I had premium, this was no issue. When I spoke to customer support they kept providing me different reasons on why my account(s) were banned. I asked for them to provide me proof being that I know that have the ability to view messages that were sent, but all the did was give me the run around of terms and conditions. It’s very upsetting that they market a “safe experience “ for the community, but will limit or completely END you experience because your financially incapable of paying for a monthly premium service. DISGUSTING!

Great experience, just needs some changes. After struggling with all the other dating apps, I thought I’d give this one a try. This is overall the most user friendly dating app out there. The subscription isn’t forced on you, and if you want it, it’s cheap. You’re able to see who likes you from the get go. People on here are so much nicer and more interesting to talk to! The only negative is that building your profile is pretty janky and missing some features (such as reorganizing cards) however, the devs seem to be working to take suggestions! In conclusion, if you’re any flavor of queer, definitely download this one!

Bad customer support + a greedy company.. So I accidentally purchased a membership which is $15 for a week. I immediately went to try to get a refund + spoke of how I’m literally living in poverty. Was told by the Taimi support staff member I spoke to that I could get my money refunded, I just had to contact Apple. Fast forward 3 hours, I’m off the phone with Apple support and they say I’d receive my money in my bank account within 48 hours. Instead, contradicting literally everything that was said prior, I received another email from Taimi. It was stating that I could NOT receive a refund despite what I was previously told. There aren’t really any good pros to the membership that I’ve benefited on widely. I get likes from people in different states than mine almost constantly + when I find someone who is in my state, they’re usually hours away. Beware of the greed & lies that this company tells. Wasted too much time + not to mention the stress of losing the money that I literally can’t afford to lose. Here’s a tip Taimi: Learn a little compassion. Because scamming people out of their money is not okay.

What’s the point of being able to see the entire WORLD???. It’s super frustrating that unless you pay for the app you can’t even set a location search to only look by where you live… I’m not looking just to send nudes to someone across the country or get a bunch of “friends” or “followers” on my page. I thought this was a real dating app for lesbian and bi people and there’s a bunch of straight people on here too just like the rest of them or people from faraway, other countries even!! I’m lucky that I found 1-2 friends to chat with because I got sick of the constant notifications from people far away from me liking me. There’s other features you could have limited to convince people to pay besides that. For the price it’s not worth the selection.

Good in Theory, Asinine in Practice. There’s some good safeguards in place and most of the layout is nice enough—I say most of the layout because there is a whole lot that you can’t do unless you pay, so I simply don’t know how a majority of the app looks and functions. The profile creation can be quite frustrating as well, you can’t crop the photos that you add and you also can’t change their order—they just seem to rotate around every photo that isn’t your main one. You can’t view who liked you without paying or open the messages they’ve sent you, which seems somewhat counterintuitive. In fact, you can’t even like the profile of someone who liked you without paying, you have to come across it naturally. Additionally, since this app is marketed clearly as an app for LGBT+ people, there are quite a big deal of trans-fetishists that you wouldn’t see on more general dating apps (i.e., men who have their sexuality as ‘straight’ but then note that they’re interested in trans men in addition to women)

Fix your algorithm and add a better left swipe.. Why do I have to block people just to get them out of my comments because they like me? It should be a way to just simply, swipe left. I’ve also noticed that other had the same issue with pictures. If you guys have a better bio area, I wouldn’t have to make my picture show more information. Nothing on that pictures are promotional. They are not sending anyone to any other app and quite frankly if you guys are so afraid of other people going to other apps, you should really it incorporated into your own. Make it easier for people in the LGBT community to talk to each other where they live. Why is it that I have premium and I don’t see more people in my area? When I know I have talked to people outside of this app that are literally within 3 miles?

Expect a weekly/monthly In-app purchase. The app lets you see something like 10 profiles every 24 hours and has a swiping feature like Tinder. What ANNOYS me the most, is if someone messages you, you can’t see them OR reply unless, 1 of the 10 accounts you’ve viewed for the day is then and you send a like……..what’s the point of being able to message someone prior to a match, but not being able to receive a reply unless the person is paying for the app????? 🫠 (Update: I PROMISE you can’t message anyone unless you match with them. I have 4 people that I haven’t seen in discover ONCE (but y’all have brought back people who I disliked, who liked me??? I’ve disliked at least 5 people more than once 🤣), and they have messaged me and I can’t reply unless I got bronze……. Can’t look at a like unless you have silver…….. only see 10-15 profiles a day UNLESS you have gold )

Please Please Listen To Your Userbase!!. I was so excited to find taimi as a general queer dating app instead of a WLW/MLM specific one since i am nonbinary and dont fit great into either, but oh my god its nearing unusable. 1. theres an issue with the about me bio section. you cant update it, it goes back to your previous one but spams you with new cards. WHY. 2. so much is hidden behind a paywall and it has the nerve to spam you notifications like “BLANK visited/liked your profile,” only to lead you to a page to buy premium taimi. im broke. i am not going to subscribe to a dating app. please stop. also, please dont tie basic functions like setting your location limit/appropriate age range for matches to a paid subscription. anybody should be able to say “hey im 18, i dont want 40 year olds on my feed” or “i dont want a long distance thing, i only wanna see people this close to me.” the majority of people arent going to pay you monthly, theyre just gonna delete your app. 3. locations are broken/slightly off? 4. maybe let people choose multiple pronoun settings and gender options? some people arent just one, yknow? idk dude, just. please make this app usable, queer people could really use an app for all sorts of LGBT folks, not just WLW/MLM specified. i am so close to throwing my phone in annoyance.

Tired of them banning my page. As much as I love taimi, this the third time my profile has been banned. I always verify my pictures when making a new page, even when there are a lot of fake accounts who doesn’t verify their account. But taimi banned me for having a fake account, when my page was verified. Then force me to post a picture to verify, I verify my face and that still wasn’t enough. You wanted me to copy a pasty girl photo whose face is half covered. Why would I cover half of my face to verify my photo?! After all the money I waste on this app, it isn’t even worth it anymore, most of the user pages is not even verified. You better off using something else. Update:You told me to contact you and I did everything you ask for and still banned me, lying saying I was pretending to be someone else. Why? Cause I’m pretty! This app is a joke, seriously do not use this app. You are better off and it’s mostly poly people who will harass you if not interested, and weirdo men💯👎

I’m falling for her 🥰. I was on this app for a solid week. The second person I sparked a conversation with is who I think about first thing in the morning every day now. The person I spend all my free time with. And the person I can’t take my eyes off when we’re together. I’m over the moon and feel very loved…I owe this glorious connection to this app. I did get frustrated in the beginning to have a app full of likes with blurred pictures that I had to pay to see. However I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the price options. I always swore I would never pay for a dating app…I made an exception and I couldn’t be happier that I did. Terrible app. Taimi has not been a good LGBT dating apo AT ALL! They will continue to force the exact same profiles over and over again, until you finally say yes. If I understand, if i reject someone i don't think i want to swipe left 10+ times to the exact same profile. Why force then down our throats. It should be rejection and good bye, not rejection and see your profile every other day. On top of that, I will have to agree with majority of the premium accounts here. They will say "you have 306 likes, but once you pay, its more like 75 or 100. Why do false advertising unless u trynna get a lawsuit? Another thing, I have my preferences, and i do not want Old people texting me. Customer Service is Terrible. I paid for the subscription for 2.99 + Tax so it ends up to be $3.27 Since it automatically renews, I can use the features like normally. Unfortunately, for the past 3 weeks I have been unable to use my features that I paid for. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times regarding the issue. The last time which was today was not so good. Apparently the cost is now $6.99 but I pay $2.99 every week and always access the features such as likes and see who liked you, etc. Taimi did not honor my paid subscription. I was told I can’t access the features because it’s $6.99 instead of $2.99. Now I have to go through  and request a refund and cancel the subscription which they can clearly see I paid for it. Basically F Taimi. You gota pay an arm and leg just to see who freaking likes you is utterly ridiculous. I understand the app created and/or ceo have to make their money but $6.99 just message someone back on an app every week.

After downloading and deleting this app several times just because I never could find anyone I clicked with I’m sooooo grateful I Re downloaded it last summer. After breaking my ankle in may I was so lonely I downloaded Taimi again to meet some friends and coincidentally came across my high school crush on live. We ended up talking through her live and then exchanged numbers and long story short after 5 years of not seeing eachother we are happily in love and going on 5 months together. Patience is key but this app was definitely one of the best thing to change my life for the better! Thank you Taimi 💕

I used to enjoy the app. This app used to be really good until they took away the community features. You used to have the ability to join chat rooms and post pictures in different chat rooms and pages people would make. This app used to be very interactive and set itself apart from the rest of the apps out there. I would give the current version of the app zero stars but I liked the old version so much i gave it 2 stars. Hopefully this comment or others like this one will make the app creators change the app back to have it used to be otherwise you will lose a member of the app in me. I don’t like to sound like a hater but the creators know what other apps look like they knew they had something different so why change like everyone else? As an engineer and someone who creates websites and apps for a living this move seems unneeded and unintelligent.

Cash Grab. This app was great as first to try and find cool people to talk to. But over time, they started putting pay walls behind everything, only for you to find out that your area has almost no active users. Before you could buy premium and get access to everything, now you have to subscribe to multiple tiers. Most of the time they trick you into buying premium by showing your profile out of your set range, so someone will like your profile. At first you’d think “ok I’ll just swipe till I match with them.” Nope, you’ll never see them on your feed. They basically bait you into buying the premium, only to find out that that person who swiped on you lives 300 miles away. The app is a pretty big scam now. Besides that you have a bunch of guys on there that will set their gender to whatever they want so they can get past the filter and then they will proceed to creep on you. It’s best not to waste your time, or money on here.

Good app but poor quality guys. The app itself is great. Good functionality. Nice concept. Love the swipe feature. I’d give that five stars. The guys on this app unfortunately are duds. Not the brightest tools in the shed. It’s like talking to styrofoam. Some have no class or manners. Can’t carry much of a conversation. The usual one-two word answers even though they all initiate contact. One star for the quality of guys on this thing. It’s about the level of Grindr and Scruff. Tinder and Bumble I’ve found have better quality guys. That rounds this app off to an average of three stars making it an okay app. Not necessarily the fault of the app creators since they can’t necessarily control the quality of guys that sign up on this. Although one idea might be to add a search filter where say only those that have serious or professionals in their profile will be shown. Unless those types of guys just aren’t on an app like this.

Doesn’t work. I am deleting this app and not going back. I downloaded it did everything I was supposed to do made the initial payment then had to pay again for someone to see the person who viewed me. Premium member sent messages to several women I only heard back from one but the notifications are telling me that I’m hearing back from at least four that I want to chat and be friends with. I constantly have a notification bubble on my phone but there is no notifications when I open the app. I got booted and when I try to sign back in I can’t sign in because my password doesn’t work I do the sign in without a password it sends me to my mailbox and when I click on the button to sign in it text me right back to the store to download the app again. Not worth the time I just spent more money than I ever actually wanted to on a dating app just heard nothing but crap.

Used to be good. The app was just as good as other apps. Going Live, having followers. Awesome! Then they removed all those interactions and now it’s just pure hookups. You have to pay to interact with people at all. And now they make you upgrade to see who likes you and message them. That was available with the original subscription. Greedy? Or crazy? Whoever is in charge of changing the app functions seems like they just want to make users angry and frustrated. So many problems. It seems the people in charge are so bored they constantly change everything to make it less enjoyable and complicated. They sign you out and make you struggle to get access to your account. Plus I pay for this. Anger doesn’t begin to describe the frustration. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. I hope someone comes up with something that is what Taimi used to be before the horrible udpdates.

They refused to specify why I was banned lot of nowhere.. I have had 2 accounts on this app now. The first was banned while I didn’t even have the app downloaded at the time, and I would have never known unless a friend from there asked me why I was banned. I attempted to get support from their “live taimi support” and all they did was tell me to go to their terms of use or something. I do not see the point of live support if I’m just going to be told to look at their website or whatever. The website cannot tell me specifically why I was banned. I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong, and I couldn’t have done anything wrong because I did not have the app installed. Ban number two came out of nowhere as well. I made a new account and I remember logging on to find that I had been banned again. I’m starting to believe that this is because of my beliefs. I am a gay man, and I have “controversial” opinions (about lgbt) compared to others in the lgbt community. All interactions I have had related to this have been respectful. Anyways, I do love the app itself and it was really good for me. I met a lot of cool people from it and would like to be able to use it again someday without the fear of being banned spontaneously. 1 STAR because of the seemingly pointless taimi “live” support.

Stuck!!!!. I downloaded this app yesterday. Now I’m going through the process of typing in all my information to make my account and all of a sudden I get stuck on the “preferred age of your partner” page, like there is no continue or back button at all! I have deleted and re downloaded it more than 5 times and every time I re downloaded it and open it back up it always starts me back on the bag that lets you choose “what field do you work in”. And the awful and annoying part about it, is that it looks like my account went through and other people can see me because I’m receiving notifications about people liking me and commenting on me and I can’t respond because I’m stuck!!!!! I contacted support team and they were very helpful but they said they gave the problem to the development team so it might take a while. I don’t want to wait!PLEASE FIX THIS, This is very annoying!!!!!!

Worst app ever customer service just repeats like a robot. A guy tried video call me out of the blue that I’ve been talking to... I told him I’m working and that I’d ttyl at 5pm ... he then sent me a message asking me how he could send me money, stated that he didn’t have a cash app. Next thing I know MY account gets blocked saying that I violated terms of service yet they can’t even access messages to confirm that what I was saying was true. The guy was far from me and would tell me he wanted me to fly there he’d pay for me hotel & ticket there.... Instead of restoring my account they decided after talking a few minutes that I deserved to STAY banned with no proof or investigation to substantiate that I had actually broken any rules Customer service just keeps repeating like a robot the TOS and to make it worse you can’t even get through to customer service by phone it just says email us on the voicemail they setup so now all the one that I actually liked probably thinks I changed my mind or something ☹️😞 all of my posts all of my likes and blocks now wasted I’m not happy that Taimi app took so much time only for them to shut it down unfairly.I was asked the name of the guy who asked me what my cash app was but I couldn’t remember it’s not like I was talking to the guy every day!! Unfair how I was treated

Great app, but new feature.... I love the app, I’ve been using it for a few months now, and I’ve met some cool people. The only negative thing I have to say about it involves this new feature where if someone who swipes right on you is a “popular user” you can’t see them and swipe back unless you pay for premium. This makes no sense to me. I understand that in the grand scheme of things, this is a business, but I don’t get many matches and now almost every time I get a notification from the app it’s a person I can’t see swiping on me. Kind of asinine if you ask me.. If it wasn’t for this feature specifically I’d have absolutely given the app 5 stars. I know my opinion doesn’t matter to everyone, but if you’re someone like me who doesn’t get a lot of attention from others I’m sure it at least makes :/

not as good as the old version. i really miss the old version, it really felt like a community with all the group chats and being able to post statuses. it felt like less pressure to meet people and allowed for more natural interaction. like a more open space for expression and connection building, now it just feels so closed off and manufactured. i also hate that at 20 years old the lowest age i can filter is 26. i do not want to talk to 26 year olds, i don’t even wanna talk to 23 year olds! it also does not keep you from having people old enough to be your parent message you trying to hook up, like now i don’t want that. I’ll still use the app as its still the only primarily LGBTQ dating app and i give it a courtesy second star for trying to build an inclusive LGBTQ dating app, but the key word here is TRY, you didn’t succeed and honestly the quality of the app has worsened during each of my on and off visits since i was 18.

Disappointing app/customer service. I had really high hopes for this app. At first things were great, except there was a glitch that wouldn’t allow me or other users to upload their photos. Once it was fixed I once again (foolishly) thought that this app would be better than its competitors. I tried to upload two photos but this time the software kept removing them because I had painted hyper realistic eyes below my own. I reached out to customer support who told me that they could do nothing about this issue and that I should try to upload photos without makeup. This would be fine except that I already had 5 other photos where my face was clear. For some reason this was not good enough for the customer support, who I fear believed that I actually had another set of eyes that I was trying to conceal. 0/10 do not recommend. I am sad and disappointed in this app for not being able to fix such a small problem.

Barely Functioning. Pretty disappointed, honestly. Will be deleting after my month subscription is up. I have my preferences set to show me users 25+ in age and close to my location, but it doesn’t work *at all*. I am almost exclusively liked/shown in my feed people who are either five states away or are just barely 19…what’s the point of managing preferences if the app is just going to show you anyone and everyone? Also, as I saw another user complain about, I am a transman; I get likes *constantly* from men who have “interested in: trans men, women” in their profile and have their sexuality label to set to “straight”. I don’t even understand why that’s an applicable choice in a QUEER dating app, and it is blatantly obvious that they’re trans-chasers based on the feminine compliments they give despite my profile explicitly stating the opposite. Overall, very disappointing, I wish it was better because I do like the layout and UI but it is not managed well in the slightest.

Customer Care is nonexistent. *DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS APP* The app itself is wonderful, it’s great. The customer care is the absolute worst. More likely than not, you will end up getting banned without any warning and without any type of thorough explanation from customer care; such as actual, tangible proof that you deserved to be banned. They sit behind “it’s confidential for security purposes” to give a run-around without giving legitimate answers. The most common ban I see amongst plenty of other users who have gone through the same situation is for “sharing financial information”, just some excuse they can use to bar you from using the app again. They say you can contact customer care to appeal the “suspension”, but the first response I received when questioning is that my account is permanently banned and thanking me for understanding. When I tell them I don’t understand and want an explanation as to what preceded this action, I get the good ol’ copy and pasted preset replies. Don’t expect a human-like response, just the community rules copied and pasted and a response from “Jessica” or “Juliana” that is robotic and shows no consideration to hear my concerns about having done absolutely nothing. Seems to me anyone can report anyone, even for something as petty as denying a hookup, and you’ll get your account banned without any chance of appeal.

Great concept but..... I appreciate the concept of this app. The design is user friendly, colorful, and easy to use. On the other hand I question the security and integrity of this app. I have reason to believe that 60% of the profiles and or users are real people with bad intentions. This is evident from the posts observed in the various groups. For every 2 posts that seem genuine in thought there are 3 posts from user profiles with vague or no details, the pictures are screenshots of pictures from other social media sites, pictures with obstructing views of the actual person, the same profiles sending the exact same messages in multiple groups, users who constantly harass other users. I regret paying for an entire year as I only continue using it in fear of just wasting money. But during this time of fear and the need for genuine support systems I cannot continue using this toxic app. If you’re looking for genuine people then look elsewhere because this is not where it’s at.

Greatest. I am here to say it’s the application that any body looking to date or be in a relationship with it out does them all in any market by far. Plenty of people to talk to at anytime. You can even go out on real dates with loads of attractive professional well to do relationship partners. Once you finally get into a relationship with a person that is only the beginning the fun. Your friends and family will be so shocked and jealous when they find out how happy and successful you are after all these years they could not ever imagine. This is the kind of thing you only see in the movies or television. Download and maybe you’ll be the next such sequence in cue.

Unjust Banning. In efforts to reclaim an account i had been using nearly a year ago, I opened the app to a ban notification. When chatting with the support service, I was told I was banned for multiple reports of “spamming.” I never once “spammed” anyone. However, I had to, on multiple occasions, remove/unfriend people because I was being harassed or was simply not interested. On that note, I believe I had been falsely reported out of spite by those unwilling to understand my lack of interest. In explaining that sentiment to the support service, I was told that I had breached the community guidelines and my ban was permanent. There was no proof provided and I’m willing to believe there was no verification of the credibility of the reports. It truly is a shame to see how unjust and one sided the banning system is for this app. So, to those interested in this app I encourage you to reconsider or potentially face an unexplained and unexpected blow to your integrity.

VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL. i guess it was fine to use for a week then they start charging you WEEKLY $5 to use this app, I didn’t use it any longer so I thought closing my account, deleting the app, whatever was going to cancel the subscription well it didn’t and it has been so hard to find the spot to cancel it..I searched and when I finally found the spot to do it on my phone, the cancel option was not even there where it normally would be for other apps. SO the website claims you have to do it through your apple store subscriptions but that is not true, i’ve been charged $5 a week since may and I don’t use this at all. i do not recommend this app at all. they are purposefully stealing my money with how difficult it is to cancel the subscription you don’t want. don’t recommend at all. you’d be better off going to a coffee shop and meeting someone that way.

Horrible. This app is literally horrible . I’ve tried multiple times to reach out with customer service and you know what they are? BOTS. The whole app is BOTS that really don’t care what the other person’s side of the story is . Literally they just ban you off what one person reported and I didn’t even do anything . The only thing I wouldn’t do , is send nudes to this one guy I ACCIDENTALLY matched on there .... this app could really use a customer support line or something because it really does have potential to be great . Also the email is a complete mess . I’m talking to three different bots I believed and have yet to find an answer . Examining each account is literally such a lie and it’s terrible they do it to the people they’re trying to gravitate towards

Same Users Over and Over. I had high hopes for this app I really did. Unfortunately, it just shows you the same users over and over again. If you’re using the free version, that means you’re wasting your swipes on the same people you’ve already said no to. I’ve given this app a couple months of trial - free and paid - and it’s the same stuff. It has this obnoxious feature where it’ll open a chat between you and someone else who is online (?) and the notification does not go away until you mark your messages as read - opening doesn’t make it go away and you can’t delete the messages either. I tried reaching out to support about the repeat user issue and they were no help; basically said they didn’t believe me. Unfortunately the app is drowning in poly couples or loads of fake people hiding behind heavy filters. This app had a lot of potential but they have a long way to go.

Frequent crashes. First thing. I had this app for a few months last year and I do like it. I like that it has a lot of different ways to connect with people all in one safe spot. I did like it better when there was the Near By feature (pretty sure that’s what it was called) instead of just the one home feed option. Would be cool if you could sort by new. Second since I’ve redownloaded the app it crashes constantly. Not when I’m using the match option but when I’m trying to scroll through my feed or my groups I get through a few posts and boom crashes. I’ve deleted and redownloaded it, updated the app and updated my phone and still can’t look at the feed for more than a couple posts. It’s frustrating as I’d like to connect with these groups that I follow.

Seems Very Meh. I have used the app on and off for maybe 2 years now, the first little bit it’s good and then as I start using it I realize how there’s holes. Many people identify as more than one sexuality but you can only pick one, there’s no option for just friends, and they only have basic she/he/they pronouns set for you to click and for multi pronoun people you can’t even click more than one. At least add an option to add your real pronouns to your account, it’s just the same as putting them in your bio. And no matter how many times I put the account has to have pictures I get 10 accounts with no pictures back to back. And I can’t even reply to anyone right now because when I click their messages it tells me I need to buy Taimi silver or whatever it’s called, these are just people I’ve swiped on and I still can’t even reply to them.

It’s different done poorly.. Let’s start with the website. Full of typos, full of grammar errors, doesn’t exactly seem like the most professional application and in a way screams “indie dev” mentality. The website claims it’s the leader of “Asexual dating” yet there’s no options to filter out non asexual people. There are however, a lot of positives. I love the group chat functions. It really does take away from the swipe culture and allows you to meet people more naturally. within a week on the app i already met a few polyamorous people who i got along with very well and now close friends with! However, there’s a lot of other problems. There’s “walls” but no easy way to access them. The website advertises streaming, but there is none. It was removed. I get emails suggesting i check out people who do not fit my criteria. The moderation is an absolute joke. You make one mention of anything and automatically you’re getting warned for things that the staff refuse to look at context for. Overall. i love the ideas brought to the app, it takes away from the “im here to date mentality” and brings more of a social interaction and hangout vibe to it. It’s a great idea, great app, but there needs to be more consistency across the website and app and make features more accessible.

Poorly managed!!. I’ve used taimi for about 6 months and for the most part it was meh. Interesting concept and I love meeting other lgbtq+ people, but the app itself is not really well put together. There’s too many options that don’t really feel useful( friend options, community tabs etc) or were hidden behind a paywall. Also! They’re customer support is dreadful, my account was terminated for an unknown reason and when I reached out to contact them they said it was because I use a vpn. I use a vpn for internet security and no other app has terminated me for using it. In their guidelines it says you can be terminated for being in a different region but my vpn only places me one state away so that’s cool I guess. When I contacted them about not being able to log in even without the use of my vpn I was informed any alternate accounts I tried to create would be deleted! So all in all not really worth it and their support staff is a total joke 🤡

The Newest Incarnation of Online Dating. Taimi the newest incarnation of online dating Taimi benefits by taking the best qualities of similar apps. Taimi mimics Tinder's swipe left or right approach, other apps achieved this with only varying degrees of success, like Okcupid. Although with Taimi you can still message people you haven't matched with, Okcupid your messages depend entirely on matches. I think one of Taimi's best qualities is that you list on your profile which communities you are interested in, this feature combined with matching makes your investment all the more worthwhile, as opposed to grindr where distance limits who you can message as well as there is no clear indication provided by app to what kind of communities they are interested in. I think one benefit for me is that Taimi is more inclusive, whether it is by body type or identity.

Don’t bother. This app is beyond dumb. It’s basically a hyped up grindr that you have to pay for. Still profiles with no photos, headless torsos, just people wanting to only hook-up (yet they claim it’s more for dating lol what a joke) And the fact that in order to verify myself (even though that’s a choice) I have a send a pic of myself holding my hand up… what’s the point if I can just create a profile with no pictures and add locked nudes lol. With all that promo they do you’d figured if you pay for an app all profiles would have a photo, and it would’ve been a bit more serious with “dating”, but guess not. Although it was $10, this was a waste of my money. To add that, you have to also pay for every other feature to use within the app..only thing I liked was the fact that it let me filter age and mile… other than that it’s insane lol. Don’t bother downloading or paying for it.

Sell out app. Used to be able to actually have friends on the app and communicate with people for free now you have to pay for everything and the one thing that the app is even good for is gone: the lives. They turned completely money hungry and now most of the people I was friends with deleted the app. They don’t listen to feedback and take what little money they can get from charging you for everything including the basic stuff like to see WHO YOUVE MATCHED WITH?? Is this a dating app or what..? you can’t even see who you’re messaging just a name so you don’t even know if you’d want to match with them or not. That’s not even the bare bones of a normal dating app. They don’t understand they could’ve made ALOT more money by making the app the way people want so they would be more willing to spend their money. Completely sold out and for what? The app is pretty much a ghost town.

NOPE. wasn’t even on this app for an entire day. To start, the app is so pushy and aggressive with buying stuff. You can set your body hair preferences and say if you’re a top/bottom/switch, but you can’t shorten the distance to under 200+ miles without paying $5 a week? Absolutely not. EVERY time you open the app, it’s asking you to buy the premium. All dating apps are annoying with their “premiums” but this one was extra large annoying. Also, bios aren’t just there with the picture. You have to take the extra steps of clicking through to find their bios for each and every person, which is super inconvenient and doesn’t really working with a “swipe” set up. AND when you look at someone’s profile, it tells them you’ve looked at it, which is just kind of awkward. No thank you, not for me. The one pro was that there were a lot of potential matches. If, I had paid $70 a year. As if.

In the end, technology has failed. So I have an account, it glitched and logged me and promoted me t create a new one. I realized I input my new phone number and must not have changed it in my settings. Well it will not let me go back to login even after deleting the app. It just takes me back to where I originally left off. Wonderful concept, and was meeting new people. Now that’s all over with due to a horrible programming bug that needs to be fixed. What if I was a new person with this phone? Would I be forced to start where the previous owner left off at? 2/10 rating. This flaw is major, and all the new people I met I no longer can communicate with due to this. I guess I have no choice but to redownload a different app I delete because This one gave me what I was looking for in an app.

Disappointing/Biased. They, meaning the people that “monitor “ the app are very biased and judgmental. They will disable your account for the stupidest stuff. But allow people that shouldn’t even be in some of the groups in and promote their “business “(onlyfans etc). Members of the app can easily target you and report you and have you removed/disabled without your side of the story. Do better! I was very disappointed! Don’t get comfortable, or feel like it’s a safe place cause it’s not. You might as well never have a conversation on the app. Match with someone, get their number or Snapchat and leave. There’s no freedom of speech! For this to be an open ,”safe community” you the people of Taimi need to be more understanding and allow people to express themselves in whatever way. Who are you to tell anyone what they can and can’t say in their own private conversations!!? I understand about being harsher with the public post that’s fine. But when your disabling accounts off of a personal conversation.... that’s not okay and violating.

App absolutely will *not* update my location. I’ve seen reviews from a year ago stating the same thing so it doesn’t look like this is an issue they’re too keen on fixing. I’ve done everything I can to get my location to change including deleting the app and redownloading it. Still nothing. It’s essentially worthless for me to try to use it to find people in my area if it won’t even give me the area where I *live*. Meanwhile, I keep getting likes from folks who aren’t anywhere near me because it has my location set on the other side of the country. I feel bad for wasting their time, but what am I supposed to do at this point? Aside from that & also how frequently they push you to buy their premium service, I like the app a lot. It just seriously needs a fix on its location services ASAP.

Overwhelming and Uncomfortable. What is the point of setting your likes and what you’re looking for/into if the app is just gunna let 50 year old creeps like and message you anyway? I’m mid 20’s and I myself have my own type and what I’m looking for in a partner, and I’ve specifically clicked my vibe and type. Why bother having that option to choose what you’re looking for, distance, and age range, if the app is gunna let a whole bunch of randoms like you, message you, and fill your notifications? (that you can’t even read unless you match or pay money, and there’s like 50+ of them, more than half of which are older and/or farther than your respective choice). If 90% if dating apps can take your taste and type into consideration and ONLY show you your taste and type, with that one odd ball 1000 miles away, then why can’t Taimi?

Banned. At first it was a cool app and was happy meeting new people but I then got banned for quote on quote “asking for money” when ALL I DID was try promoting my (OnlyFans) with ONE SIMPLE LINK. I then told them that I understood and I will not promote it again and they then stated “Sorry, unfortunately our decision is final.” Therefore if you are trying to have freedom of speech or feel like you want to express yourself, YOU CANNOT on this app. Whoever monitors the app is very judgement app and even though you are trying to tell them multiple times you will not do something again you are completely banned. I really have no idea how promoting my link to OnlyFans is asking for money and being “unsafe”. If I were you, I would not even bother downloading this app and if you do, have your chats with people and add them on social media like IG, twitter or Snapchat and leave this app. Worst customer “support” ever. — I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE JUDGED AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. — (HER is a better app anyways.)

It’s good until you run out of match’s. What I like about this app and I think what separates it from other typical dating ops is that when you do run out of matches when you’re using it without any kind of premium service attached is that it lets you go back to looking for matches in less than 12 hours which is something that I think is a definite plus and I have met some cool people on here just you have to adjust your filters and sometimes it can be a bit much because then everybody wants to adjust the distance or the age filter especially if you’re not trying to go over a certain number whether it’s miles or maximum age you’re willing to date there are some bots on here and scammers on here but that’s what any dating app and they’re pretty obvious the spot honestly but yeah it’s decent
