Fun but....... This game has been extremely fun overall until you realize you’ve almost completed the whole game. Since the new addition of EX weapons, I’ve been farming so much that there is little to no content left. Even through all that farming, I have yet to recieve just a SINGLE EX weapon. I can’t tell you how much fun I had before the EX weapons came out, and now the game has gotten dry. The rates of the game (at least for me) has been extremely low for some reason. It is save to say that I will quit in the near future due to the scarce rates of 70cp weapons. Although they are within the 5% of draws, the odds seem rigged. I hope you guys read this just as a precaution. Most people around me have mediocre to extreme luck. As if for me, not so good. Due to this absurd reason, I feel no urge to play the game. Thank you.

5 star EZ. Okay let me start by saying this.. I’ve spent so many countless hours/dollars looking for that one game on my phone that I feel I can play for years. This is the first Mobile review I have posted, over the past 5 years I’ve spent thousands of dollars on p2w games. Usually games die out or devs give up, don’t listen etc. Even if you haven’t played FF in the past, it is worth your time. There is few and far between when it comes to dev commitment and the customer support you get from the SE team. The reason I am writing this review is I consider myself to be a recreation pro when it comes to Mobil rpgs. If it’s been in the top 100 I’ve played it in the App Store. SE add pvp to this game, spend a little on advertising in your target geo/demographic areas. I’m sure people have seen angry birds or some clash “insert name here” type of games advertised on Television. Please do this SE. Take your spot on the rightful throne as kings of the customer relationship business model. These other Mobil apps p2w money grab nonsense. I cannot wait to see how this game plays out. I am honored to have played such an amazing 1.0 version of a game. Because if somehow by version 2.0 there isn’t a million + people playing this game. The Mobil app world doesn’t deserve your passion and presence, thank you again SE.... For all your years of quality service.

I NEED TO KNOW. you see, i need like, a way to see which ones I got and which ones I don’t come on I see which was I have and which ones I don’t what getting at is I need to like how do I put this a index? I got nothing else but come on. It would be a cool, marketing gimmick, I mean idea, you can click on something and then It will take you to a sub page where you can choose characters or weapons and there’s an empty space in the shortcut menu enough room for another one, the other two rows are filled up I need the third one to be filled up as well(by third row, I mean the row with quests, enhancements, and draws) PS: this is a really good game edit: maybe you could add armor, enemies, blooms, and artifacts like come on

Best game in the whole store for FF fans…. Fantastic game, fun combat and everyone gets all the characters and plenty of free pulls/currency. My only complaint is the multiplayer, it’s good/rewarding overall but there are frequent connection issues or players dropping and when they happen *you* are punished, your rewards for the mission cut by 33-66% as soon as they drop. This is unfair and stupid, you go to the trouble to queue up for a group (a bit of a skill in itself as the playerbase is understandably nervous at any sign of poor connection or afk player, frequent emoticon use is virtually necessary) and it could all be solved by giving full rewards if you complete the dang co-op even of some jerk drops or there is a connection issue. Or so I think, I’m sure there are reasons it’s designed this way. Great game regardless

Great Game, Major Flaws. This game is great with good parts to it. I like the fact that there are more characters than just the main character of every game like in past Dissidia games. The battle system and soundtrack are probably my favorite parts of this game. But like every great game, DFFOO does have it’s share of flaws. One part of this game I hate is that after completing Ch. 1 Primus Island, the game makes all currently recruited allies and any new ones that join instantly boosted to Lv. 70. This sounds like a good concept for beginners, but for those who actually like to fight monsters and not just play for the plot, such as myself, the game just becomes too easy. This development basically forces you to play Hard Mode for any fun at all, but even then, the enemies are still ages beneath you in skill until Ch. 9. And at that point, they’re so hard you have to switch back to Normal where your characters are STILL capable of one-or-two-hit-killing foes. I am a longtime fan of the Final Fantasy franchise, and though I’ve only played five games (including this one) in the series, it is still very close to my heart. If an option to not become level 70 is patched in, A more positive review could be arranged.

Crossover idea. Hi there square enix I been playing the game for a while now and i noticed you haven't had any crossovers yet so i thought might as well give a suggestion and suggestion would be legend of the dragoon i think some characters from that game can easily fit in to the play style of the game since it is turned based so i think if you guys do make a crossover for the characters you should do should be Dart,Rose,Lavitz,Kongal and for the villain ones Lloyd and the commander the first boss in the game i think him since he has the look of a possible playable character even though hes just a boss for the hero's i mentioned for their ex ld fr and burst abilities you can just use their dragoon forms magic attacks so you guys don't have to worry about that but thats all for me and i hope you guys do this in the near future.

Foolish to skip this One!. (After Completing Chapter 1 Normal) So far I am super impressed by what I have played! For me the story takes a back seat as I have skipped most dialogue scenes to get right back to the simple but thought provoking battle sequences 🧠 For me, when it comes to using my time on anything, I would rather be enthralled by the gameplay mechanics and the mechanics in this game seem to hit it right on the mark for my picky taste. I usually can tell if I wanna continue playing a game in the first 30 or so minutes but I knew this game was a keeper in the first 5! Not only are you blessed with a chance to receive dope 5* weapons but the access to a decent number of party members will allow you freedom of customization right away and too many games stop short when it comes to getting that right if you aren’t dropping big bucks. Thankfully nothing feels overpriced and with that said I have yet to spend gems because of the abundance of items and weapons I received immediately after booting up the game for the first time! Again I’ve only completed the first chapter but that’s all you need to play to be hooked for good 🕸 I’m getting back on to finish up chapter 2 and I’ll be back to drop another review! See ya

Worth it.. This game continues to give and exceed expectations. Upon initially downloading I guessed this was another cash grab, stamina based game that would only keep my attention for a week or two before deleting. This game can be played at any pace and has plenty to do. It has a high replay ability with farming the resources to level your characters to max, and has an auto play feature for missions so that when you’re farming the resource- you can just let your characters fight it out for you. The raids are fun and enjoyable. New events come out every other week with new characters or summons, and you have many opportunities to get the game’s currency. When you use the currency, even if you spend the 5k gems on a draw board- you are still guaranteed a golden weapon for your efforts. This game keeps to the characters and stories, and proves to be enjoyable!

Great game, except for something. This is a very cool game, I see my favorite characters and the turn based battles are cool, plus animations are great. But I’m not complaining about the drop rates. (They are very reasonable drop rates btw). But of how overwhelming it is. When I first joined, there were so many buttons and missions and quests and all these things I thought I had to do. You had to gain all these fancy materials I had no idea how to get to power up a single weapon. There are too many ways to power up stuff than just 2-3 options to power up gear. It also seems too powerful too. It’s WAY too easy to get to the max level. So easy to the point where the story modes difficulty seems effortless once you start doing draws. Summons are hard too. I had no idea whatsoever how to power them up. Everything seemed so complicated. But it’s a good game overall, 3 stars

Fantastic game but... So I’ve been playing DISSIDIA Final Fantasy Opera Omnia since it first launched and signed up for it before hand. It’s a fantastic game and I haven’t even had to spend a dime playing it. The gameplay is a lot of fun being turned based but still having the DISSIDIA style of combat with Brave and HP attacks, etc. The music is great as well which is par for the course with most Final Fantasy games. My one gripe, I’m not sure if it’s on Apple’s part or if it’s a development issue is that I can’t play it anymore. Ever since signing up for the beta for iOS 13 it will boot up but once it reaches the title screen it just freezes and saying “connecting”. I’ve used it on varying internet speeds as well but with no avail. I’m hoping it’s fixed soon because I miss playing it. Once it’s running again I’ll update the review and increase it to a 5 star. I just can’t do it at the moment with not being able to actually play the game.

Great game, but i am not giving this 5 stars. I am starting to change my feelings about this game. It is pretty good graphics for an iPhone, but it’s not fun and addictive as it was before. Also, the EXs are ruining my fun. They are too powerful and cheat. Like why not just use the known weapons the characters use. Square Enix, please use the most powerful weapons each FF character has in their games, and use those as their EX weapons. Story also is getting boring now especially those gates for when you have to get someone lvl 10 to unlock them, or whatever. Usually, in the start of the game, there is literally 5-6 pages you have to go through. THAT IS ANNOYING!!!! I don’t want to put this game down, but REMOVE THE PAGES AND PUT THEM IN THE NEWS!!!! Have you also realized that characters say or do the same words in cutscenes and not say what the subtitles say? This has to be fixed, and this isn’t what I hoped the game would be like. Also, the character voices don’t match up with real life. Like for example, a character wears armor, but sounds like they aren’t. Overall, this game is great, but needs more fixing. And I can assure you that once this is fixed, 5 STARS!!!!!!

Great game but the gem system is so flawed... So I play this game a lot and really like it, the only thing is that to get weapons you need to do random draws with gems. That’s fine and dandy but the gems are a pain to get and eventually you will max out your ability to get more at any sort of acceptable speed. Now you can buy gems but that’s a absolute joke lol each random draw is 5000 gems and to buy 9000 gems it’s almost 40 dollars hahaha. If the developers see this please stop being imbeciles and either adjust how much you charge for gems or how many gems is required to obtain an item. I’ve quit this game 3 times already because of this and honestly will be forced to again because of this. Please do something about this so I can keep enjoying and so you can get more money in your wallets.

Fantastic for the price of free 99. Let me start by saying I’m a big final fantasy fan and a huge gamer overall, both console and mobile. The direction games are going with the biggest games having constant DLCs and/or constant in game purchases, it’s truly a rare occasion to see a game you do not have to spend a cent on. The game play is basic, and can get monotonous, that is true. That can be said for just about any game though given time. For a free game that simply requires grinding for you to have the best item I don’t feel you can beat this game. If your a fan of final fantasy it makes it even better....one of the very 1st characters you obtain (warrior of light) is pretty much the top tier tank in the game.

The best Final Fantasy Spin-off JRPG Online game for mobile phones!. My first time giving a review in the App Store since I’ve started playing games 7 years ago. I have anticipated this game since DFFOO came from Japan to Global. Without a doubt made my role-play gaming experience back to life. All of the elements are in the game: turn-based system, weapons to collect, story to follow & the fave “chibi” like Final Fantasy heroes at your disposal. Gone are the days, contemplating whether we could mash-up protoganists from each Final Fantasy in a party. You’re actually going to use each of them eventually & gather almost everyone inside the FF franchise. The graphics & gameplay are stupendous & immersively mind-blowing with 3D models & animation with 60fps like visuals. A big thanks to Square-enix & Koei Tecmo, you’ve brought a flawless gem to us. Keep us goin’ with constant updates & awesomeness! Kudos DFFOO! 🤘🏻😎

The best mobile game EVER!!!. I been playing for this game for over a year, at first I thought I will be a game that will die out quickly and I should be get bored of it within a week or two, boy am I wrong, this game is super fun, update content every week, the developer really pay attention to all the details, bugs and story. All bugs fix unusually before I even realized it or within 24hr after report. The team is super professional, and after a year of playing, it still get me super excited for new events and it doesn’t look like it slowing down anytime soon... I strongly recommend this game for anyone, and it is the most F2P games out there...

Fun for a week... maybe. The first day i thought this game was amazing, day 3 it started to feel repetitious, day 5 i forced myself to play it, day 7 i realized i hated it and couldn't remember what i liked about it on day 1. I hate the “brave” system they use; i don't know where this system originated from but i haven't seen it used in an ff game. The fact that you have to build brave to deal damage, then expend all your brave and risk being “broken” next turn; it feels like this was just a clever mechanism to prevent you from getting all the rewards easily. It also uses random draws for equipment and i hate that; so certain characters will be amazing or crap randomly depending on your draws. So when you put that ff dream team together you always wanted (cloud+squall+tidas) they might be good but more likely your best team will be characters you really are meh about; like snow? Like i said, fun for short term, but gets old quick.

First Review Ever. I don’t write reviews, in fact this is the first one I’ve ever written on the App Store. I’ve been at this game for over a year and it’s amazing. Structurally it’s well built, very few issues and when they do arise they’re dealt with rapidly. It’s immensely playable. You can spend hours playing it, going after challenges, and still have more to do. Of course there are periods where there isn’t much to do, but that’s the hard limit of how much content can be released. That being said they push new content aggressively. The devs are very generous. Yes, the more money you spend the faster you’ll progress, but you can be a successful F2P player with what’s given. I almost want to give them money as a thank you for being so liberal with in game currency. At the end of the day this is a marvelous game and you should be playing it.

Long time and still happy. I’ve been playing this game for almost as long as it’s been around and I’ve been happy the whole time. As far as I can tell, they are welcoming of new players and make it possible to get fairly powerful teams going fairly quickly. Like every other game these days, there are in app purchases. And it’s pretty easy to spend too much money. But you don’t have to. You are given a good amount of the currency to start play with and you earn more as you complete more of the game. If you’re patient, you can get everything you want as free-to-play. The game also offers plenty to do. Some of the materials collection can get dull, but there’s a lot of coop play that’s fun and they keep offering new content. And of course you can collect over a hundred characters from Final Fantasy. I love collecting. In my opinion it’s a great game worth the time and effort. EDIT: Just noticed s game has 8 gigs of files. Still like the game, devs need to do something about disk space usage.

The cost for multi summon (great game). This game is really I recently came back too it and never more fun on any other mobile game ever. But I recently ran into a problem where I have run out of gems to grind. The solution is to do all the hard modes and new chapters and events but you eventually can’t get more. Free to play players can’t get any good things with the rates for ex weapons being ridiculous. And having to grind 5000 for a multi is a challenge cause not only do you have to grind for a long time you burn through your resources very quickly because of how many stages you go through. Maybe making it 4000 gems instead to benefit free to play players and paying players since the can spend less and buy more. I don’t know if you’ll see this but can you take this consideration.

Great Start. So far, this game is off to a great start. The story is ok, and they fill it with your typical reasons why all these characters can be in one place at the same time. The gameplay is fun and addictive, and if you pay attention, there is definitely some strategy involved. In this gatcha, I like how they give you the characters, so you can play as your favorite FF character. This is appealing, as the characters are the reason we are all such big FF fans. However, it’s still a gatcha. Right now they are making the in game currency easy to obtain, but I fear that very soon it’s going to become harder and harder to obtain. Unfortunately this is the typical business model, where the good stuff comes later and the only way to get the IGC is to spend $. One thing that I can say that sets it from other gatchas is that there is a 90% chance to get one of the 3 featured items in the 10+1 pull. That’s a ton of incentive and a nice change. Currently my biggest issue with the game, is that I can’t play it on multiple devices even though it’s linked through FB. I started on my phone, transferred it to my iPad thinking that it would play on both, and then as I click transfer it says I can no longer play on my old device! WTH Squenix!? There also needs to be an upfront disclaimer stating that the game can only be played on one device so that people don’t make the same mistake as I did. FFBE can play on multiple devices, so should this. Fix this issue and I’ll rate 5/5.

18 Oct update broken. As of the 18 oct update, the game is broken, it will not update and the events portal crashes the game, doing a batch download also crashes the game at 5065. iPhone X. The game is time consuming but it is rewarding you for your time, the draw system is pretty weak, you always get randomness that’s not as useful. The story is pretty good, the character designs are awesome, being a SE and KT collaboration I see amazing potential from this game in the future. This is the first mobile game that does not force you to spend hundreds of dollars a week. Some parts of the game are stupid hard, you could easily spend thousands of gems to beat it one time, this game has over 6 million downloads but you still have trouble getting a CO-OP party, there needs to be an available list of CO-OP matches to join from from the CO-OP menu. Awakenings to lvl 60 are coming soon, but it doesn’t address the how some of the characters are just trash and useless, and others are just over powered you can see that most players only use a handful of characters in CO-OP, for example Shantotto is one of the most powerful BLM in FF history, and she is just trash and a waste of time in this game. For now I give it a 3 star until they patch the download bugs. Imagine if they did events with KT characters!! Please fix the game, it keeps saying I’m on online, but I am.

Best Mobile RPG of all time.. Final Fantasy Dissidia Opera Omnia brings an original turn based battle system that is both familiar to fans of the genre and new casual players alike. Personally, I am a day one player and I can attest to the fact that Square Enix has been heavily involved in constantly catering to the “free2play” base. They have been very generous in providing resources and special gifts. They have also balanced the game so players that purchase in-game content do not gain any significant advantage. I’m now on year 3 as a daily player, and I think back on how deeply this game has evolved since the pre-EX level capped at 50 days. It’s amazing. Play this game. There is ALWAYS something to do. Thank you Square Enix for 3 amazing years!

Not what I thought it would be, but that's good.. I honestly thought this was going to be just like Brave Ezvius, riddled with micro transactions and some stupid low pull rate summoning and etc. But this is different. You can tell that the developers put a lot of work into this game and it is an amazing game especially for fans of the series. The best part is, is that the only thing you are pulling for is equipment. That's right, you get characters from actually playing the game, and not micro transactions, who would have thought? And even with the in game micro transactions/summoning, they are actually pretty generous with the in game currency just from playing the game. I highly recommend saving for the 11 pull and not the single one just as a word of advice.

Fantastic. This game when it first game out for me was terrible. I’m a huge final fantasy fan and played final fantasy record keeper (ffrk) and final fantasy brave exvius (ffbe). When I came back to the game it was with intro to burst and LD. The main issue I had with the game originally was the combat being you need to attack and draw power to then do actual hp damage next turn. Very slow system but now majority of abilities do damage then dump the stored energy and do hp damage on 1 turn. With team building it’s very fun because even though there is tier lists etc, the vast majority of characters are usable one you just get their full kit up to LD. It may be hard at first but they have a decent recycling system for dupes and fully upgraded gear that allows you to invest in a few characters and recycle their gear to invest in some more. The gatcha is decent compared to ffrk and ffbe. It is a gear based gatcha where getting gear either upgrades your basic moves or gives you new ones. The only complaint I have is they it can get pricey if you plan to put money into the game and they have major bottle necks with the ingots and books that can take an exciting draw and make character not usable for a while since you can’t upgrade them. Overall it’s a great game, I feel it’s very f2p but can take some luck or time to get the ball rolling.

5* for sure. Alright. I’m gonna start this off by stating the obvious. The graphics are not as some would say, ‘up to par’ with other FF games, etc. Yes, this is true. But, I personally feel the graphics fit the style of the game. The nostalgia of the characters from years and years before. The story is very nice. Even though there are multiple many plots, the main plot is always clear and never over ran. Seeing as how this game is fairly new, (English Version) I have to say it runs great. No bugs except the occasional ‘Cannot connect to room’ when joining a friends co-op. Simple fix though. Exit and re-open. Over all, I’d have to say the game is definitely worth playing. The dev’s have done a great job, and the graphic style is just how it should be. Five stars easy!!

Perfectly deserving of 5 stars, but purchases are a scam. As I recently got into the Final Fantasy series, this game was the first app I downloaded. And I’ve got to say, I’m impressed. The story’s decent, characters are awesome, and obtaining the best gear is easy, and for once I’ve found a gacha game where it doesn’t matter if you miss out or don’t pay to win, as EXVIUS most definitely does. Now, that being said, the in app purchases, particularly costume bundles and enhancement bundles, are a bit of a scam. For one, the devs value 2 draws at about $25-30, which is extremely pricy considering it takes about an hour to get one draw. Secondly, the wardrobe chests are even worse. $37 for something that’s purely cosmetic? Based on my previous valuing, that’s $7 for something that doesn’t even do anything of use. I’d love it if these costumes were free (developers have even said that they “want costumes to be free.” Hypocrites) and I think most people do. At least give us the ability to change the color scheme of characters, like in NT. Fair warning: do not make purchases in game.

Outstanding. This has been a game I’ve stuck with since it’s launch, and it’s been a wonderful time all around. It takes the turn mechanics of FFX and combines them with the BRV/HP mechanics of Dissidia. Beyond that, it also utilizes almost EVERY FF game to date, which in my opinion is amazing! It’s absolutely amazing to see how the characters from other series interact with each other while staying true to who they were in the game! Also, this game is regarded as a gacha game at the end of the day, so be prepared to spend gems on rolling for your favorite units! But that’s the beauty of it, as new characters roll out and events come up, we have ways of getting “summon tickets.” What these do is they give FTP players a chance to fully experience the game without spending a dime, I know I haven’t! Of course with every gacha game, be prepared to roll an account, a secondary account, a tertiary account, then reroll each and every one of those countless times until you get the EX weapons you’re looking for! (That was a joke, you don’t actually have to reroll at all.) Did I mention there’s no farcical stamina mechanic in this game? You play the game as many times as you want, as long as you want. Wonderful job, Square! I’ll be keeping this one on each and every mobile device I get for years to come!

Word of warning!. Prepare to feel incredibly nostalgic when playing this game! This game has brought me back to the days of playing all the old-school final fantasy games, and seeing all the characters interact with each other just makes it all the more compelling to keep playing! There is no stamina to prevent you from playing as long as you want, except for XP/crystal missions in a special vortex. The game floods you with excessive amounts of gems that can be traded in for special weapons for the characters you unlock throughout the story! I highly recommend this game to anyone! I’m going to support this game 100% and purchase a gem box just to say thank you for making a great free game with no strings attached! Keep up the great work, y’all!

Best Nostalgia Gacha available. I’ve been through my gamut of different mobile games touting to recreate a sense of nostalgia for great series and only this one has truly struck an amazing balance on so many levels. -The interactions between so many final fantasy characters is done so well and the original personalities kept intact. -So many characters feel viable, especially now with the new era of difficulty the game has entered where old characters are being reworked to shine. -The balance of solo-activities and cooperative play is excellent. The events are also usually spaced out so that it doesn’t feel entirely draining to try and keep up. -The lack of PVP is a blessing as it’s focuses the community (which is wonderful) in helping each other complete content together. -The development team listens and is extremely pleasant. They’ve brought several major quality-of-life changes several months forward from where they were released in the Japanese version. -The two forms of gacha currency available are given away generously throughout the games events. -The game can provide a real good challenge that players tinker with for weeks and come up with fun strategies to beat. If you like final fantasy and want a great community to be part of on a global scale, this is the mobile game for you.

Probably a scam. I am so excited for Zack to come out soon. I have saved gems and tickets for over 2 months to try to get his 35cp weapon. I have 45,000 gems and 145 tickets, and to use a multi-pull, it requires 5000 gems. One problem is that to get at least 5000 gems, you need to pay 36 US$ just to get 6000 gems. That's how they get you to buy a lot of money. Instead of 60$, it should be 15$ to or 10$. Another problem is that to try to get Zack's 35cp weapon, there is a 10% or 5% chance of getting it. To me, that's way too low of a percentage of the company wants a mobile game to keep running. They should increase the chance of getting Zack's 35cp weapon. I haven't spent any real money in this game YET. Plus, the currency in the game is extremely hard to get in-game. If you are trying to get his 35cp (like me) then be ready to take out your money.

Best nostalgic hack n slash. I was not a fan of the original Dissidia games, but this version is so much better. Most characters from each game are available, so you can still play as someone you like even if you weren’t a fan of any of the protagonists. The battle system is turn based and simple compared to modern FF games. The art style is slightly cartoony but I still think it’s gorgeous (I’m one of those people who cannot stand the look of the original FF7). My only complaint is that the artifact system doesn’t make a ton of sense and neither do a handful of other features, but I’m still enjoying it even though I mainly ignore those features.

Now that the game is up and running.... Edited my 1* rating, now that I actually got to play this game, it’s a fun time killer with cute graphics, easy to understand gameplay and a fair pull system. It’s not too hard to make your characters strong and I look forward to updates that add new characters and equipment. The launch still could have been handled better for iOS users, though! Hopefully the next game like this will have the game ready for download and play as soon as possible! EDIT: After a few months of playing, I’ll keep the 5* rating. The gacha is okay, better than Brave Exvius but anything is better than a 1% rainbow rate. It at least has a guaranteed 5* which most gacha games should have. i just wish this was more of a sit down and play for five minutes at a time kind of game. You do need a serious time commitment from time to time.

The BEST Gacha Game There Is!. This game has to be the most fun I have ever had on a mobile game, PERIOD. Everything about this game is F2P friendly and easy to learn that you can become a pro in a week. Just starting the game gets you 3+ 5* weapons and a 5* Armor OF YOUR CHOICE! You can literally main ANY character you want! In fact, unlike most other gacha games, as long as you fully invest in a character, EVERY CHARACTER HAS ABOUT THE SAME USEFULNESS. No tier list required. On top of that, the game is EXTREMELY GENEROUS with its currency given out in thousands per week, and the fact that draws have a 100% chance of a 5* weapon, this game will constantly keep you coming back for more. And finally, the game is incessantly pouring out new content, with a new character coming out every week and a new chapter coming out every two months. Plus, the main post game mode is coop, so other players can help you get rewards to become even better. Simply put, this game is 100% worth your time, even if you are not a Final Fantasy fan.

New characters useless without their 5* weapons. First. I really enjoy this game. It is very friendly to players who don’t want to spend a lot of money. I haven’t found any content yet that wasn’t playable without investing a bunch of money in the game. I really enjoy how all the characters can be useful for different quests. My biggest gripe is the last chapter and corresponding weapons that were released. Both Edgar and Serah have a new weapon type. Edgar uses spears and Serah uses bows. Since no previous character has either of these types these characters will be weak and useless unless you pull one of their 5* weapons. This is the case for Edgar. I tried to get a weapon for him multiple times and didn’t get it. He literally has no other weapon he can equip and thus cannot be used. I feel like characters need to have a backup weapon type so they can be used even if you don’t have a weapon of their primary type.

A great yet interesting game. 4.9/5 realistically.. So this is a game I started in June of this year, I stoped playing for a while then came back a while later when I heard of sephiroth being added. I think this game is great, love it to bits, and can’t wait for more updates and character (FFXV?), but there was one thing that kinda bugged me. Personal weapons, now I know people might say it’s in the draws, but couldn’t we get a 4 Star version of them for the character at the beginning when you first get them, like the buster sword there are 2 the NT and regular (5 Star and 4 Star respectively). It’s especially a little harder when you have to use them a little later in that chapter at times. The draw system is random, but not too bad to give a lower rating. Now gameplay wise, I love it, it gives me a feeling of old games with the turn based system, (lightning best sweeper so far), as for certain bosses, they are unique and interesting, other than the malboros, I love each concept though it can get repetitive at times. Still need to reach chapter 10 before I ultimately can say I’ve beaten the game fully, but can’t wait until the next update, and hope to see more iconic characters in the future. (Advent children cloud skin please, would be great.)

Amazing phone game. So I am a pc gamer, normally I don’t care for cell phone games. I have a huge issue with games that are heavy in micro transactions to progress or do anything in the game. Picked this game up a few months after it came out to global release and haven’t put it down since. I have only bought one thing and that’s recently and that was a costume for my fav character, probably will be the only time I do spend money. The reason being is they give you so many ways to make in game currency that you really can play it as a f2p game. The story isn’t the best in the world, but it’s a Dissidia type game, the purpose is to pick up whatever characters you want to max out and figure out strats for killing each boss. I’ll probably always recommend this game, unless they change the way you get gems down the road.

If you loved the old psp dissidia then you’ll like this. From what I can tell you this games isn’t really competition based rather work together and/or work by yourself. It’s a lot to handle at first especially now with LD and Burst now coming to worldwide but regardless it won’t take you too long to understand the game. There are tons of final fantasy characters and their still adding more of them as the updates keep coming. Each character has unique moves and weapons with great animation based entirely on their games. Although it seems like getting weapons that you need to max out will become difficult it really won’t take too much time to get them. With many free pulls chances and multiple ways to get tickets and gems it truly won’t take you too long to get the weapons and your fave characters to their max potential. This game is all about turned based strategy, you choose 3 to fight multiple rounds sometimes one round sometimes 5 with no wait time for the most part and things you do have to wait for you get items that will get rid of the wait time and/or items that increase the amount of the materials you need to increase your characters and you’ll get tons of them making it more of a grind to boost everything you can. So to sum it up if you like to grind with lots of events no worries of competition only working together, strategies with great deals then this is the game for you.

Love it as a fan but a bug lack of armor tokens. I’m a long time fan of the final fantasy series and I really enjoy opera omnia! Compared to a lot of other gacha games it’s actually pretty generous with resources. Although a big issue I have with it that others also seem to have is the lack of armor tokens. There’s always new banners that come with a bunch of resources but they really don’t supply much armor tokens, particularly if you’re a long time player. I’ve honestly considered restarting a few times because of it and it gets a bit frustrating. Especially with how much armor tokens are needed just to fully upgrade one character (about 100 I think but I could be wrong).

Fair gacha. They give a lot of ways to get the premium currency for free and their drop rates are very reasonable. Can you still get screwed over with RNG? Yes, but that is part of the fun, right? They have a pity system now for getting the best weapons and a shop for getting the others so there are even more ways to get the premium items. Gacha can be fun if you do it right, and these guys have got it right. If you come into a gacha game with a completionist attitude you are gonna get burned. You can’t have it all, but you can have enough that you get your favorites and enough to do the most difficult content. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and rewarding. Edit* I have to hold my review hostage until these iOS 13 bugs are gone. The UI breaks every time the app is moved to the background or the phone is put to sleep. I’ve submitted two bug reports. The issue hasn’t even been acknowledged yet. Please fix ASAP so I can change my review back to 5 stars. Edit** Took a while, but the UI issues have been fixed. Going back to 5 stars

Best Mobile Game I’ve Played!. I’ve played maybe a dozen or so mobile games over the years. I eventually lost interest in all of them (wasted money on them too). I still have them in case I ever decide to go back. That is not the case for this game! Much of the time I can’t put it down! Some days, I do the bare minimum daily missions (I always go through ups and downs of enthusiasm in any game I play), but when I really make progress—I have to keep the ball rolling! You can pay for optimal content or in-game currency; I am still free-to-play (and am determined to remain so!), and I still make good progress! I have completed a lot of the game content and have slowed down getting gems for content draws, but there’s always several events going on to earn rewards and gems! This is the most generous mobile game I’ve seen for free-to-play players! The developers have published a quality product, and I can tell they care and have pride in their work! I have dallied so barely very little in Final Fantasy games years ago at the insistence of my best friend, but you don’t need to have played any before this! I started in early November 2019, and I’ve already made it to rank 611! I have about 10 maxed-out good characters thus far, with a few more to be ready very soon! This game has inspired me to purchase FFVI & VII on Steam. I just wish Steam had the original SNES version of IV and not the 3D version.

Thoughts and Opinions. Firstly, a phenomenal game. Easily a 5/5, and I don’t know how you could rate it any less. The old-timey graphics are awesome, seeing all the characters brings back so many memories, and the storyline is beautiful. I’m really really looking forward to future updates for the quests. However, one small thing that I would ask for (or maybe big thing) would be a PVP mode. 3 of your FF characters vs 3 of an opponents. I truly believe that This would be an awesome addition to the game, and would add so much more to do during down time after you beat the final mission and are waiting for more to come. Of course there would probably need to be some balance changes (OP Cloud FTW) but a solution could be to simply have differing stats in PVP vs story mode. Either way, I’m loving this game and I’m incredibly excited for the future of it.

If you guys can do a KINGDOM HEARTS 🔑🔐👑across over with one of FF games surely you guys could for this game right??? I mean since this game is kinda like the ps2 designs for kingdom hearts (that’s what it seems like to me) and play this would be a perfect opportunity to bring the franchise into light 💡 you guys don’t have too add king Mickey Donald and goofy ( that would be pretty sweet though ) but a least a sora, Riku and other originals for summons along with there weapons . It’s also could be nice because kh 4 is on the way!! It’s least likely you guys will read this and I know you’ll have to talk to Disney about this but please here me out one this idea and other than that this is game is perfect!!

My fav Final Fantasy game on the iPhone thus far. I played FFBE & DFFOO both. I’ll admit DFFOO has a way better advantage of me playing for a long time. The game consistently always updates with new content and they give you rewards to collect in-game. You really don’t have to spend money on any crystals unless you choose to because of the amount they give you in the game is mad crazy so it’s not a pay-to-play type of game. They have an interesting storyline but no voiceovers. I can deal with that. The combat system is pretty decent no complaints there. And they have co-op which I like most definitely. And the servers are not bad at all on co-op. I’ve been playing this for a while now and have no plan on stopping. The only thing I ask is if there’s an auto option for the dialogues in the cutscenes as they play. It can become very aggravating tapping the screen for a while 2-5 mins just to read/watch the cutscene. Other then that 5-stars from me. Great Game!!!

Poor Odds/Poor Experience. In all honesty, the core concept of the game is rather brilliant. The turn based combat is a welcome breath of fresh air, and the characters are all memorable from their respective roles in former Final Fantasy games; however, that is the extent of praise that can be levied on this game. Unfortunately, this game is another clear example of a game that relies far too heavily on gambling concepts in order to make money. The practice is predatory, and this game does not have any sense of monetary value for the goods supplied. If the odds were sensible, the game would be far improved, but as it stands now, it preys upon the wallets of whales and feels empty and void of reason for continued play beyond the scope of money wasted on the statistically false hope of great pulls. With that being said, it is not recommended to get too involved in this game. There is little motivation or passion in this project, and the business practices on display here are a clear indication of that fact. Sadly, this project seems to be beyond hope as of the time of this review. Stay far away.

Broken under the weight of its own powercreep. Fun game but it’s gone to its inevitable end. Decent but repetitive mechanics, familiar characters, and a story that is basic enough but never really goes anywhere. All characters are given or gained through quests, which is nice, but you still have to summon weapons for each character which are character specific. So it’s great that you get Cloud, for instance, if you’re a fan of that character, but he’s unusable without a Cloud specific 5* weapon. At first there was only one 5* weapon for each character, so acquiring them was easy for a f2p with a decent amount of grinding. Then additional 5* weapons were released, which made the original set pretty much garbage. Now with the addition of EX weapons, which have an incredibly low drop rate, the game has reached that terrible point all gacha games inevitably reach where the summon pool is so vast and diluted with older content that the game has outlived itself. It is a decent game, but keep the expectations to a minimum unless you plan to spend a LOT of both time and money.

Amazing. This is by far the top 3 games on my list of games I can play on my phone! Has some of the vest graphics tons of different things u can do the level up system is awesome character look great!!! I’m so happy with this game and most of all you don’t have to spend any money on this game to go far I’ve been playing it for about a yr now on and off of course because I play other games as well. I was to say please stay true to what you have done with this great game continue to develop it even more then what u have done and only problem I would say is if players want to spend money on the game give them more options for get to spend money on the prize pay out isn’t that great but otherwise 5***** all the way good job SE! Ps please don’t go anywhere I love this game I would be sad to see it end

DFFOO great. I started playing this game two years ago and fell in love with it. The game has opened my eyes to the different Final Fantasy games and some of the characters from the other FF games have become favorites to me. The story for this game is wonderful and goes perfectly too. I don’t have many complaints with the game, except for the costume bundles. I would like to suggest to Square-Enix the possibility of adding a new shop tab so that players can purchase just the costumes for characters they wish buy for as an alternative to the costume bundle pack that they offer for $37 USD. A reasonable price for a character costume, in my opinion, would be at least $5 USD for the costumes while still offering the costume bundle packs for those who are needing gems and other items.

Awesome Experience. Ive been playing this game for quite some time, and have been a fan of the series since the first one back in the day on my grandmother's NES. This game captures the feel of the modern final fantasy while bringing back heavy feels of nostalgia. Having access to so many characters and different battle options really fleshes out the experience. The only thing that I wish existed was a PvP mode, to see who's really got the optimal team style, but overall I enjoy playing this game, and have not spent one dime on it. The in app purchases are an extra hand, but there's not too much grind required for advancement in the early game and you'll be able to level up faster than you think. I would spend money on this game, but I grind at a moderate rate so I almost don't feel the need to buy anything. I don't give many 5's but this game has earned it. 👍🏾

Awesome game. Old school Final Fantasy with co-op! So great. I rarely write reviews, and felt it necessary for this game. It's turn based FF with attack damage based on the brave system (vis a vie FF8). It is a little bit grindy, but not absurdly so. The game provides events that give you boosts to progress. Very awesome. If you like turn based FF, get this game. It offers builds to keep you interested without being overly complicated. Note to developers: Please fix the bug with passive abilities from max level items working (ie Vaan's def+84) Second, give artifacts enhancements it's own tab. It's very confusing combined with armor. And please, don't make the artifact's skill secret. Let us know what we're investing in. We put a lot into progress. It's a new addition, so no one will mind a change this early. We will all thank you for it. As well, it will make the character development much more straight forward. Thank you for the great game. Keep up the good work.

Go as deep as you want. I’ve been playing for about a month now and what I like most about this game is that it can be as simple or complex as you want. Devs do a great job at helping you learn the basics, then taking you deeper and deeper, though I’ll confess I was a little overwhelmed at the beginning. But I slowly got the hang of it, and now I really enjoy the variety of aspects this game offers. So, 5 stars. But please, allow me to suggest that people have the option to outright buy with real money the weapons or gear they need. For example, if I had to pay a couple dollars to get Terra’s Soul Sabre or Organyx, I totally would, and I bet a lot of other people would as well. But not overpriced :) :) (By the way, I missed the Soul Sabre in Terra’s last event draw, and it’s not available in the token exchange, which is really annoying because now I can’t get it and obtain Terra’s chaos wave ability in her enhancement board!! Please add to the power token list!) Also if there was a way for new players to get more enhancement points that would be nice. It’s a little disheartening playing through all the old content knowing that I missed out on thousands of enhancement points simply because I didn’t find out about this game until recently. Anyhow, keep it up - a compelling game all around!

Greed. Great game being able to play at your own pace with no annoying energy, the only downside is the ridiculous pricing of gems. $40 AU to open 10 packs of gear which are just mainly useless bronze items and once the campaign is complete is extremely slow to gain more free gems. As usual these days I’ll be off to another game very shortly.

Good, wholesome fun. I really love this game. I’m a former KHUX player who’s been looking for something to play while on the train to and from work and this is it. The ease of obtaining gems in this is extraordinary in comparison to a game like KHUX. There’s also no quest limit on the storyline, draw tickets are given out regularly, deals aren’t absolutely crucial to getting anywhere in the game. And the best bit is that characters themselves aren’t even based on draws— it’s just equipment. Equipment can also drop from regular encounters which, again, there’s no limit to. Fun and accessible. I don’t feel the need to spend money on it, and if I did I probably wouldn’t feel as gross as I did every time I pulled in KHUX. End note: play this not KHUX

A couple of big problems, but a great game. I've been loving the game so far, but since the recent maintenance period whenever I try to open the game, it will tell me there is a new version and I need to update. Then it brings to the AppStore, which tells me there is no update for me to download. Edit: It seems the AppStore got the update a few days later than the game itself. This issue has now been resolved. Additionally, when I tired to send a support inquiry I wasn't able to use any of the dropdown menus required for filling the form out. Overall it is an amazing game and I think I will be playing this for a long time.

Hmm. Good game with no advertisements but the time saved not watching adverts is clicking 10 million menu buttons. It’s extremely convoluted and nothing is specifically explained to you outside of the story missions (also managed to skip ahead in the story accidentally mind you). I found there wasn’t very good explanations of the materials for upgrades etc outside of the basic one and you get hammered with patch notes every single time you log in and cannot skip them. This game is close to great but needs more time spent refining the game menus and handling information for the player.

Account gone. I’m so angry - a while back I unfortunately had to switch phones after last logging on a work phone. I then found out the hard way you stopped using Facebook as a transfer and because my phone was gone I had no idea what my id was or all the questions asked to restore my account. I constantly switch my heroes to level up...how the hell am I supposed to remember which ones I used last and the names of their weapons!?! I played this game since it launched meaning I had every hero- customer support is non existent for this experience. Over a year of constantly playing this game gone in the matter of a week. I left this game regretfully for the last 3 months with no way to get my account, now I’ve missed multiple events and I can’t be bothered starting all over again after putting all those hours in for nothing :( 0 stars

No update. Awesome game. Was loving non stop but since a maintenance update I now can not open the app. Opens to say download recent update get taken to App Store bit only says open. Click open to then get the same message and it loops and so forth. Please fix as is a very good mobile game.

Favourite Mobile Game Yet. This game is surprisingly addictive and fun. There's so much to do it's insane given the fact it's a mobile game. I can play for hours and there's always new content coming every 2 weeks or so with so much more ahead. Love it.

Share data and iPhone X support needed. Great game, I've sunk a good few lazy hours into it. It's got great aesthetic, gameplay and it's for the most part FTP friendly with the gatcha on weapons and armour only and no time outs/stamina on story mode. Otherwise a 5* game. subtracted for me is one important thing for me... that's missing is shared file across iOS and other OS (FFBE & FFM) have this, I'd love to pick up where I left off in another device. iPhone X support would be a great addition also as the screen is rather small when scaled to be viewed on devices with bezels.

Points for trying. It's a good looking game, with a lot of effort put into the presentation. With the unfortunate downside of mind numbingly dull game play. Don't makes your players spend so long whacking at monsters to get basic enhancement materials. The process is so tedious it drags the game down with it.

Fantastic game with big issues.. I think this one of the best F2P mobile games on the market, it’s fun, addictive and easy to learn, with tons of things to do. Unfortunately, I can’t rate this higher than 3 stars in it’s current state. Load times are ridiculously long and the game forces you to install extra updates within the game every two minutes. Hopefully these can be fixed/streamlined in the future.

Game doesn’t work.. I’d give it zero stars if possible because it doesn’t work. First said authentication error and or it goes to a white screen after making me accept terms and conditions again.

Game is working perfectly and is actually addictive. Saw some reviews saying game is not working properly or does not start, so was a bit worried at first. But then after i downloaded it, there is no issue at all, no crashing, etc. have been playing the game non stop. The same thing with my brother. Gameplay is quite addictive and seeing mini interactions between ff characters is enjoyable. At the moment, it is quite easy to get the gem(for in app purchase) for pulls/draws. Otherwise, the gems are a bit too expensive (but then again, its about the same as other rpg games on ios. Still. I wish they could be cheaper) I gave 5 stars review as the game really is enjoyable. Does not take into account of my annoyance with the gem price.

Best free RPG turn based game ever in App Store. First I'd like to say Wow, for a free game they have out done themselves with this game. Lots or varied content, online co-op, massive story, character, equipment, progression and enhancement. This is addictive, be careful lmao. There are always a few glitches with a game of this size, and they are constantly and I mean constantly adding batches,new content, character revisions, this is fantastic! Always something new even after you think you've conquered Ch. 10 hard mode, you still have heaps extra on the side with Lost Chapters, and daily/weekly/monthly challenges. Guys this game is sick and will take you months to get close to getting thru story and character content. So, if you are looking for a deep game that gives you so much, so often, that you are afraid to stop playing because you'll fall behind this will fulfill without a doubt.

No update. Quite the enjoyable game but since the recent update went out I haven’t been able to find it. Usual problem of going to app for update and only having an open option. Seems to be the common trend for all these gaming companies - 😑 A double thumbs up to the team on a quick fix. Happy to amend my previous points on account of a job well done. Unplayable. Game always crashing Iphone X

Fun, but confused by the level increase after the tutorial missions. I’m enjoying this game, but I’m trying to figure out how I went from level 10 to level 70 on all my characters.

Love letter for fans. If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series, this tons of fun. Real work has gone into all the references. Seeing how all these iconic characters mingle is super cool. It can get grindy at times, but resources are given generously, and it IS NOT pay-to-win. Been playing it non-stop since launch, and with no regrets!

Opaque & Complicated. This game is just systems piled upon systems, and none of them are particularly well-explained; and the UI is messy & counterintuitive, which exacerbates the problem. Here’s a representative example: each time I visited the main menu, I’d get hit with 5+ announcements of highly specific end-game changes that were completely meaningless to me as a new player. They took forever to load and could not be turned off and many of them were outdated. There’s ALSO an announcements icon, with a red “unread” counter, so why is it necessary to force new players to sit through them all? Ultimately, the whole game is kind of like that — so many of its design elements make no sense or are actively annoying or time-wasting. p.s. loading time is also a serious issue, the game feels poorly optimized.

Update broke the game. Game is good, but the most recent update causes issues on my iphone 6s+. App opens and closes now. Game ran fine before October 24th update. Fix the game and ill give 5 stars.

Really neat. To get that game it’s first app store review,as a long time fan,first it’s actually fun despite the simplicity,con,I miss the fighting game side of Dissidia,Chaos/Cosmos and the original theme of the PSP duology.Still so far no pay2win in sight yet it’s more easy to get gems than enough gils.Maybe make it so we can get more gils per fight,otherwise it’s fine and as a promotion for the new Dissidia,great job.

Actually a legit good game.. This game is not greedy. At all! Of course you can't have everything unless you pay but if you are happy with the characters you get on a particular package and stick with them, this game actually become a nice little FF fan service game with a decent story. Square Enix can be proud of this one!

Fun. It’s fun for a bit, but eventually I just got overwhelmed with the amount of small tasks you need to do, and items you need to grind for. Clearing hard content doesn’t really provide much of a reward, and there is an almost endless supply of gems if you look for it. I played for a good year or so, but the last month I’ve just given up logging in. It’s fun in a casual way, avoiding the massive team setup and 30 minute long fights FF:RK fell into, but at a cost of a serious lack of variety in your game play.

I’m a huge ff fan. I’m a big final fantasy fan always have been, I havent played them all, stopped playing the new ones after ffx-2 but love to replay the old ones and I’ve played all of the new mobile FF games and haven’t really enjoyed them. It just doesn’t feel right to play old school graphics in a phone. The graphics on this are like kingdom hearts. They are good enough to actually encapsulate the same actions, movements and feelings the characters have in the OG games. This is why I keep playing. So far I haven’t had to pay for anything, you really don’t have to. Levelling up is easy, getting items to level equipment and getting diamonds to buy gear packs is easy and you’re given tons of freebies everyday in your daily quests. Co-op is kinda hard because no one is ever on to play, I’ve only been successful once achieving a co-op partner and I’ve tried many times. Also every character is free ? Amazing! Not to mention being able to have the bad guys on your team! (Sephiroth, Kuja?! Yes.) You can fight and build your own favourite team of fighters from your fav FF games, there’s tons of content on here, and every game is given the chance to shine with their own “world”. This is the Final Fantasy game that I won’t just stop playing after a few weeks. I can see myself going back to this every time I need that FF mobile fix.

Dissidia final fantasy opera ominia is a fantastic game for me it has all the characters the I really love to see like final fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and along with 13 and 15 I really wished that this came would be like dissidia Final Fantasy NT so you can fight the random characters but either way this I’ll give it a five star because this is my favourite video game franchise ever

Broken. New update completely broke my game. The app kicks me out during the first load screen.

No end in site. I have been playing this game since month 2 after launch in 2018, and I haven’t looked back. I have taken the odd couple weeks of a break here and there over the years, but have always come back to being a daily player. In the past 2 years of playing I have spent roughly 250 dollars which really is not a lot of money for the amount of time I have put into this game. I can’t even imagine how many hours I have logged. As mainly a F2P player I can assure you that if you play daily and collect all that is available to you, you can complete all content in this game. I have completed all chaos content, and although I have missed some “meta” characters I have always been able to obtain everything I need for my favourites because that’s what I prioritize. This game brings me such joy and I encourage every fan of Final Fantasy to give it a good chance. You will not be disappointed. Just stick with it, work through the grind at times and fight with your favourites! My number one praise to this game- every character is made viable! Thank you team DFFOO, I have so many memories because of you. I hope to play this game till the end of time itself =)

With the new contents se presented and chaos era the game officially became p2w and any f2p player will not manage any progress also ring is this game biggest scam and unless you are willing to spend 1000s then no hope and that’s why I delete the game and finally se you should be ashamed of taking advantage of our love to these characters and use it in this greedy way. Just trying to get people's money. I've worked so hard for 3 months to get sephiroth and used over 100 tickets to summon and they are all a different character's weapons. At least make a guaranteed ex like ffbe and not use 300 summon coins. As if anyone wil spend that much when 5000 gems is only 20 coins. This summon system sucks and it is a waste of money. Screw your summon system. Chances are extremely low and you have only a month to save up for the next EX weapon even though there is no guarantee for a good one. I've uninstalled and never installing again

Fix it for the iPhone 6s. I used to play this game but after deleting then reinstalling it, I can no longer play it as after it starts and loads for a split second the screen then goes white and stays white.

No need to buy anything.. This is a great game I’ve put tons of hours into it the day it goes dark will be a tough one. This game gives out free content so much you don’t need to spend any money. If you must have what’s new or you want costumes it’s gonna cost you BUT if you wait everything becomes abundant. When I first started playing I was using gems for weapons I throw away now so if you wait the stuff you want will come to you. Patience is key but we do need whales or ppl spending money to keep this game alive so don’t judge plz. Enjoy the great story of all the final fantasy game characters combined!

I refuse to play this game till level 70 Glitch is FIX ‼️. I need a update assessment to be said right here in the Apple Store that they fix it for me to re-play this game again like level up games are supposed to be fun, A game too easy is not answer for me, like I play FF4 on Hard on first play though for crying out loud‼️I refuse to do any less on any GAME for any amount of reason to be said! Sweep System. Please add a sweep system for resource quests because it feels very repetitive and long to get the resources you want in the game. I would really appreciate if this function would be added to the game.

Best gacha. So far the most generous gacha game I’ve played, more than Granblue fantasy and Dragalia Lost. With some time and dedication you can practically guarantee to get any weapon you want, which are needed to make your roster stronger. Good job!

Too much can be bad thing. A year ago I would’ve raved for hours about how much I love this game and I still do but now it’s with bitterness at the centre. The game used to be pretty generous and to an extent it still is however with the introduction of LDs that generous amount of resources amounts to very little. In addition Square did not up the amount of resources we get from events so you’re operating with the same income of resources but could be expected to pay double what you used to meaning not only are you now having to chase an LD but also an EX. Some would argue you can redeem for an EX if you miss it and I’d point out it takes 10 MONTHS to do so and if you miss either on a banner congratulations you now own a character who can’t be used in any serious manner. All this compounded by the fact that the new LUFENIA difficulty is usually just a gear check to see if you pulled the EXACT LD featured. frustration doesn’t not begin to describe how I feel at this point with this game and as far as I know there is no end in sight for this behaviour. It’s still enjoyable at a casual level but if you’re looking to get the true end game content done you better either be extremely lucky, have been stock piling up resources for months for ONE character OR spending a majority of your savings (which by the way you will since their prices are STEEP). I am still however invested in the story and I do love final fantasy so I’m going to continue playing in the hopes that maybe my luck turns around because god knows Square certainly won’t.

Second review, because it needs it.. Loved the game for quite some time. I loved the gameplay in fights, coop with your own character choice, and grinding that didn’t feel as boring as other games. Even the mtx count was low to none. Now though, after getting every character past 100, leveling everyone to at least 50, and having everyone at least have decent equipment, I’m done. The gameplay is still there. Turn based, has coop, and you still grind the same way, but good luck trying to make any sort of big progress. You level a character, use up all of your currencies to get better equipment, then are forced to pay to get further. It’s got more than that to it, but there are so many things that are added that force mtx’s that I can’t explain them all. Even grinding has been taken further, forcing a long, long time of grinding now. I’ll just stop here, because much frustration has come up. I can’t explain everything, I just know that sometimes a simpler game can be a better game.

Awesome mobile game!. Awesome mobile game that offers plenty of content for new players and plenty of updates for current players. A lot of fun and one of the best Final Fantasy mobile games out there. It’s simple, yet challenging and brings together a fun world of mixed Final Fantasy characters.

Glitches. Have An iPhone X and this game still shuts down randomly on me.. thought it was my phone got my new one and nope still didn’t let me get past the first screen without shutting down... great game if I could play it

Fun game. This is a fun game. It can be difficult at times but rewards for completing content is fair. There have been a few bugs in the game recently that I noticed when switching to iPad: when Rude calls Basch after the skill is performed it crashes the game, when replacing Kadaj with Bartz friend support the two character sprites will overlap with a weird glitched effect

Top tier. Great game day one player still haven’t gotten bored. Updates almost weekly!

Wish square allowed the entire game in one go. First off I just say the game is fun I just wish that the game was fully installed instead of only partially it may say oh well it takes 125 MB but I can say without a doubt that no it’s not 125 MB I had almost 2 gigs of data and that was only the first couple of chapters as well as the first couple of lost chapters but seriously Square you should have simply told us when we agreed to install this game how much megabytes or gigabytes are needed for the availability of the entire game and only add updates when new content was added not have me install 1 MB here and 1 MB there and that wasn’t in the entire game or the entirety of the lost chapter is released you should’ve done what you did with Kingdom Hearts Union X where you told us how much space we TRULY need to play the full game. You should’ve advertised it for the entirety of the game that I would need at least 5 GB just to play the base game not including memory needed forthe Lost chapters. you should only give updates when something new happens not update after update every time I wanna go somewhere new in the main game or the available lost chapters. That is why I gave a you a low star review, you didn’t tell me how much the true game really was so please update your service where it tells your customers how much of their phone’s memory they need for what’s already available and not constantly nickel and dime their memory just say “you need 5 GB of phone memory to play the base game”and “if you want to play the available Lost chapters you’ll need at least 1 more GB of memory on your phone to play them all” and ONLY update the game when new events or lost chapters become available to play

Great game. Very F2P friendly game, various ff characters, 3d models, old school turn based combat. Now if only the mainline games were good still.

Crashes. I was able to download the game with little difficulty, but after that, it has crashed almost every time I press something. I'm not sure what to rate it, since I haven't really gotten to play it yet. However, with the latest version (Aug. 2020), I have been able to get as far as viewing the first cutscene. Not that it is a huge deal, but it would be neat if it was possible to choose English audio for voice lines instead of Japanese, which is currently the only option. Regardless, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the game is indeed voice-acted!

Super Cool!. Being able to put my 3 fave FF characters in a party (Cid,Auron,Cloud) is a really exciting thing. The story and weapon customization is really fun. Definitely get this game!

Level jump ruined it for me. The game used to be rather fun, I used to love getting my party together of my favourite FF characters. But then they level skipped all of my characters and now I don’t even have fun going through the story anymore. I can’t even enjoy the battles as you one-shot everything.

Don’t update as yet!. After the most recent update, my “free 10+1 pull” didn’t work. I tried to pull, but then the game crashed. Then when I was trying to restart the game, the game failed to load.

Good but. Was a decent game, way too many weapons to get to stay relevant. Can’t keep up with anything. Seems fair to new players but it’s going to take months to a year to get into defeating the hardest mode Lunefia. If your lucky with pulls to get the right characters weapon sets. Even then it’s not really that fun. No guilds or serverwide events. Big plus is no pvp. Good pve and I loved playing with actual people. Wasn’t very exciting after a while of playing. Never could beat a Lunefia even after getting a few good characters their full sets. Was very discouraging not even coming close to beating even an easy Lunefia. Good game to try, but not a keeper for me.

Sad to see it go. I really enjoyed this app, im terribly sad to see it go. Knowing it’s done Feb. 29 I just don’t see a point in opening it anymore. Getting tired of square-Enix apps getting discontinued.

Unresolved issue: Loading time!. At its worst, it takes 15 minutes or more for loading time at the title screen. Not to mention if it fails.

One of the best f2p games out there!. So, I normally do not write reviews for App Store games- but boy, is this one a keeper. I started playing this last year; my boyfriend introduced me to it and to this day I am still playing it. They constantly update the app, and host streams for upcoming content! You can spend money or you do not have to at all. I’ve been able to fully mlb multiple characters without spending a dime. This game deserves the numerous 5 star ratings and I can not wait for future updates! (Lilisette awakening, and kuja awakening) also, Squall is the master farmer and you can not change my mind. c;

Good, but it’s way too easy. This game is for small children under the age of 8. If you want a good mobile final fantasy game, then don’t choose dosida final fantasy opera omina, choose final fantasy 7... the only good game in the franchise. Even though this game is really fun and the Pokemon style turn based mechanics are on point, it is waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too easy. If you aren’t really a gaming person than you probably aren’t going to like this game either, because you have to understand the final fantasy games to understand the story. But overall it’s a pretty cool game Edit: Forgot to mention this but in the cutscenes it doesn’t register your characters and just does random one complying with the story

Great game but .... I love this game. There is tons of content and free crystals that make it easy to get great characters. The only downside is the long load times. I feel like they don’t have large enough servers to handle all the users which is shocking given it’s an SE game. If you can manage to get on it’s great! Otherwise it’s a complete waste. The other complain is the CO-OP system. You can add people, sure, but it takes forever to join with them provided you can even find somebody. I wish they’d take a page from GrandSummoners who definitely know how to engage others joining the game as well easily tracking which co-op they can join.

Pretty darn impressive. Been playing this since it came out yesterday, very fun game, looks great, no energy like common mobile rpgs, I haven’t had a single problem playing it. Characters are unlocked from doing what games are for, playing the game. The gacha is only for weapons and equipment and the game has so far, been very generous with gems for rewards. Highly suggest this game to anyone who loves all final fantasy games and their characters, and for those seeking a non pay to win game with the structure of an old ff game with the shine of a brand new game. Good job Square, more games like this please <3

Lots of fun! But…. As someone who only started playing in 2022, I’ll layout pros and cons of this game. PROS: • Lots of content. Plenty to do. And updates are frequent. • Story is okay, but won’t make sense unless you’ve played nearly all of the Final Fantasy games. (And there are a lot!) • The turn based battles system work very well and battle/character animations are very satisfying. • Rewards are plentiful, you can acquire much through progression without even paying. CONS: • Character skins can be nice, but it’s still a tad bit expensive. Alas, artist need to make money, which I’ll happily pay for. Provided there are no digital currencies… which sadly there are. • As content dries up, so does rewards, momentum and ultimately incentive! Then everything is locked behind an overpriced paywall, like all gotcha games. • The ticket draw system can work favorably if you’ve got plenty and if you’re lucky, but most of the time it’s a package of worthless items and duplicates. OPINION: It is the most generous gotcha game I’ve played… but is still a gotcha game. I can never really trust a game that operates like a drug that takes advantage of minors. That will always my greatest criticism.

Addictive. I waited about a week in to make a review on the game to see if it held up over time as some games you notice a pay wall or the grind increases tenfold. This game however stays fun and addicting throughout the game and the story is pretty good too. I love how you get the characters as you play and you get plenty of diamonds to buy weapons for your heroes. Save up your diamonds for the characters you want to play mostly so you can get their weapon. To wrap it up the game has a solid story quest line and the events and other side quests are enjoyable with great rewards. Now back to the game 😁

Amazing game (must have for ff fans). I’ve played most of the mobile games and been a fan a long time of the series and this is absolutely one of the best games in mobile Front i literally played for hours after I downloaded and I’ve had so much fun got my wife to download and play and she isn’t a fan its so much fun brings me back to the old days has a lot of characters I grew up loveing, it does have in game purchaseing but it’s not really a pay to win in my opinion My opinion I said anyways love this game so it’s a must have if your a fan

Cycle Quest LVL 60+ Others. I love the game and everything about it. I feel like in order to make the game better for newer players getting into the game (or for people who lost their accounts, those playing catch up), new things should be implemented. First, I would like to see Cycle Quest LVL 60 for all shard colors that would help grind for those high crystal shards instead of just for specific characters unlock events/lost chapters. Also, for those newer players who missed out on older characters, like Gilgamesh and Sephiroth, more than one lost chapter should be released at a time. Other than that, great game all around.

Fun, but dragged down by gacha elements. I greatly enjoy my time playing this game, don't get me wrong, but the gacha aspects are a horrible drag on the game. The only late-game usable weapons are hard to get unless you shell out a lot of money or are willing to grind (and the latter is very, very limited!), and for characters with odd weapons types they don't have options besides their worthless basic weapon at all without a lucky roll. Considering that there are roughly 45 characters in the story and lost chapters alone, it's a major problem and Squenix isn't going to change it. Also they keep "forgetting" that it takes a few days for updates to filter through to iOS users. So that's great.

Fun game so far. Needs iPhone X support and a better syncing mechanic. I usually don’t play games where there is a gacha system but so far I’m enjoying the game. It also seems that you do not need to pay real money to progress (but I am only on chapter 2 so this may change). If you have an iPhone X be prepared for a game that does not take full advantage of the screen. If you are the type of person to care about that, I suggest playing this on an iPad until SE updates the app for iPhone X (not likely going to happen though). I also wish this supported iCloud syncing like the other mobile final fantasy games (FF4,FF5,FF6,FF7, FF9), instead of relying on using your Facebook account.

Not perfect, but still great.. I played this game for over a year now and I enjoy it. But my problems with this game turned it from a 5 star to a 4 star. If you want to get anywhere, you have to get EX weapons, LD weapons, and BURST weapons. Getting those revolves around a gacha system. The only colored orb that tells you that you got good items is gold orbs. If you get blue orbs, tough luck. And upgrading EX weapons was so tedious. You have to get a bunch a crap in order for it to be viable. And if you get extremely lucky, you can get insane powerful characters. I’ll still play it and I hope it gets more updates. But that’s about it.

Amazing so far. They give alot of stuff for being new. It's the standard turn based final fantasy game. You can earn all the characters and don't have to summon for them. You have to summon the weapons but every multi summon guarantees a five star weapon. They hand three free multis for playing the first little bit of the game. So you'll most likely have three characters with amazing weapons. Your party is comprised of three characters so there you go. It seems to be ftp friendly as well which awesome. You never see games do that. The animation and combat are great too. I have no complaints so far. Definitely one of the best mobile games you'll play for awhile.

Love it!. This game is the one game that if you don't usually spend or like to spend $ on in game purchases, it doesnt matter. Love that there are side missions along with specific missions in the game that allow you to unlock different characters. AND if you go through that characters story (which besides from the main storyline, every other character to unlock has their own storyline so there is much to do) you can unlock that characters special weapon & armor that they use in Final Fantasy. Overall this game is my favorite phone game to play and i don't see myself getting bored of it any time soon. Highly recommended for phone gamers!!

Highly Addicting. Bringing back the classic turn style type Final Fantasy, this game is definitely worth the download. It is extremely fun and does not get boring like the other Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts mobile apps. Plus, it is new, once reaching the end of story for now, I have worries as more is bound to come very soon. Also, there are events every week for special characters and equipment unlocks in co-op or single player style and summon events every month. So plenty to do all the time! One more bonus, you never have to pay a cent as none of it is pay to play.

No ads. Not pay to win. Enough free items to bypass wait timers.. I don’t write many reviews. I wanted to take some time to give this one 5/5. Plenty of story. More and more FF characters added. If you liked turn based FF then this one is for you. Pick the right team combo to counter the fight’s gimmicks. There is a gacha draw system, but a new player will drown in free ticket draws. They will also drown in gems that can be used to draw, but with a pity system. My only con is that it does not support play in multiple devices. And Rikku isn’t here yet.

No longer f2p. I have put a lot of hours into this game been playing it since last year when I first started playing this game it had good drop rates and was a great fan service for us Final Fantasy fans the game is still good but with the low chance of getting free rolls on draws and the decreased drop rates on the 5 stars i have completed every mission on hard and all the lost chapters I can no longer get free gems and the 20-30 tickets from events might get you 1, 5 star you don’t need. I can’t see myself paying 37$ for 1 roll so after a year of playing this game I feel disappointed in what it has become. It’s fun to play at first but endgame is not f2p.

Top Notch. Fair warning - Square Enix while have being my favorite console dev for 30 years - are sadly a nightmare on mobile . The games are usually good, last a year or so then disappear without a warning. They don’t even bother sending their best games to the US . Square , get your mobile business practice together please. It’s a disgrace . Enjoy the games ! But they won’t get a penny from me till I see some love ! This feels like where they were trying to go with Record Keeper, but this has the traditional FF story formula in it as well. Nice Blend of keeper and FFBE , with next level graphics (relative to the afore mentioned games) Great combat mechanics in this one , very nice! Character building makes more sense in it too. More complex. Music is beautiful, almost gives me the Neverending story vibe, that the plot seems to drive. It’s like ffrk and ffbe had a baby and then apple and Square Enix had a baby ,and by some miracle those two babies .. had a baby.. you’d have Ff Opera Omnia

Just a great game. From cool characters to a very compelling story, this game takes that concept and cranks it up to an eleven. This world brings final fantasy characters together like never before and to such a large degree that you can’t really not get excited whenever they announce a new player. Even when you start behind everyone, it’s easy to catch up to the harder content and they throw gems and tickets at you as if you’re that I hard not get everyone’s weapons and abilities. I really suggest this game to anyone who enjoys final fantasy with great pride and that you won’t be disappointed.

My favorite Final Fantasy Mobile App!. I have to say, this game is without a doubt the funnest final fantasy mobile game that I have ever played! I love how it’s not like Brave Exvius or Record Keeper where you are forced to wait for energy to restore. You’re free to do as many missions or events as you like without having to wait for the energy to recharge. This game is off to a wonderful start! I can’t wait for them to create more chapters and I hope they continue to put new Final Fantasy characters into the game as well! :) I’d love to see more characters from Final Fantasy VII! Vincent and Aerith for sure! And also Lightning and Noctis, Gladio, Prompto, & Ignis! :D

Never ending story.. Where to start. This game has soooo many things to do it’s literally amazing. The graphics are probably perfection for a mobile device, the story line keeps going-meaning things are easier to obtain when you can successfully pull for the right things, you have so much time to play through the game, I mean the list can go on and on and on and on. Like thank you so much for creating a game that is free and if you want a little boost, you can buy gems/ costumes/ etc.. thank you so much. I never write a review.. I’m literally that passionate about this game!

Best Mobile RPG. Apparently I was late to the party. Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been hooked on this game and I can see myself playing for the ongoing future. Im not sure what happened with maintenance this morning with the update being late to show on the store, but I’m updated and it keeps reverting back to update without the option and just says “open.” I’ll remain patient for this to be fixed cuz this game is entirely worth it — especially if ur not crazy about micro transactions being the only way to advance. There’s enough in game stuff to keep u busy and interested. Thank again, Square Enix.

Draw shops is a rip off. The randomality of the draw shop is understood but it isnt worth the hassle constantly depleting gems and money to obtain 5 star ex weapons I desire. Dissidia needs to update this because its wayyyyy to many weak weapons constantly being drawn out with those draw tickets and gem purchases and with only one 5 star guaranteed advertised outside of each draw board is really discouraging from playing, and the price of the gems are ridiculously high for the little amount that they offer. First of all you need 5,000 gems to unlock many weapons and only chance of pulling off a 5 star weapon (not necessarily ex weapon) is one in a million due to all those weak weapons and armors that are constantly been raffled in the drawing. Smh this is very disappointing please fix and this I'm sure everyone that has ever played dissidia can agree on this.

F2P Friendly!. I’m not exactly f2p. I’ve spent $5 on this game. I know shocking... I have played this game on and off for 2 years. On for one. It far and away is the best gacha game ever. The mercy system makes you save your gems so you can get the weapon for the character you absolutely must have. The people who complain probably pull on every banner. It’s challenging yet fun and the amount of content for beginners is amazing. You can catch up and with investing in 3-4 of the right characters you can clear all content. I would recommend this to anyone that is tired of overly complicated gacha games. Plus it’s a Final Fantasy game, if you like the franchise then you will like the game.

a glitch/error?. I tried getting my data back with Facebook but it was the Facebook wrong account so I canceled it and it took me back to the in-game home screen and when I tried it again just to see if there was an option to switch Facebook accounts the whole link would be blocked up with "continue" or "cancel" and I can’t request to use the desktop site either because of some "popup being to small" nonsense. I really hope the team can fix this bug because I really enjoy playing this game.(literally what got me into final fantasy)

Great Way To Bring It All Together!. I’ve grown up playing most of the Final Fantasies starting with 7 and staying close to console ones mostly. Glad to see SE bring them all together and even bring the ones we lost back from the dead! Most of all, you don’t have to pay to get strong characters because there’s so many opportunities to get really good gear, you just have to put the work in for them. Unfortunately I lost my data due to switching phones and forgetting to transfer data before erasing the old phone. Looking forward to grinding even harder to get past where I was!!

This is it, and they managed to make it fun. At its heart, it’s basically forever grinding game as you’re trying to collect crystals or defeat mega bosses, and playing gatcha to get ultimate weapons and armors. Sounds boring, right? Kinda, but they keep refreshing the content so you will have something to do every time you log in. And they don’t make the regular progression of the game impossible to play unless you play-to-win. You can go through the normal modes just fine by normal grinding. It’s only on the optional high level boss battles where things get quite challenging. Compared to other free-to-play games, this is probably the only game where I can continue playing without feeling being cheated. Only minus one star for the gatcha system. It can get annoying not getting the weapons that you want after dozens of tries, but that’s the nature of random loot box system. Great game, especially if you’re a Final Fantasy fan.

Love it! Yet nothing is perfect.. This game brings together all of our favorite final fantasy characters over the years. Giving us an interesting new story with fun gameplay. This game catches the essence of final fantasy gameplay, with fun and innovate new mechanics and combat systems. My only quip with the game, is customer service and community feedback. I think the devs could do a better job expanding on their customer service, making it easier to help people with issues, troubleshooting, glitches and what have you. I also think they could work to take more community feedback on some things. It could only stand to improve the game.

It is really good. This is by far the best mobile game I’ve ever played. I also really appreciate the tutorial being short, and unlike many other mobile games it explains things well without being overly complicated. The gameplay is pretty fun. I enjoy playing as the characters I liked from the Final Fantasy games that I played, but I also found a few new characters that I like as well. I also like how characters are unlocked over time by playing through the story and by beating event stages. Thank you for making this awesome game. I will continue to play and enjoy for a long time.

Nailed it. Square nailed it with mobile games. I can honestly say I hated all mobile games. I got started on FF Brave exvius which I have been playin for about a year now and love it. This game is the same way. Recently started the game and almost immediately loved it. Having all of the final fantasy franchise characters interact in a story is entertaining and fun. Especially for those who have played and beat every final fantasy there is and love them all. Except for 10-2... I highly recommend this game with its partial voice implementation and unique battle system, you will be pulled into this game in no time. 5 our of 5. I hope the unit releases are as fulfilling as ffbe.

It’s better than it looks. A lot of people hate the BRV system but I really enjoy it. However, if you have high patience, you’ll like it. Great story! Great gameplay. Love the chain attack system! I have no clue as to why this game “only supports one device at a time” because I can play this game on my phone and my iPad with absolutely no trouble. I’m just going to assume those people are lying and want to bash on SE on purpose. I don’t know why people want some characters (sephiroth for example) to be in the game, yet they are already! BOIS, IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO IT IS THE STORY ITSELF!!! And one more thing because I know someone’s gonna mention it, this is NOT a Pay2win game! Makes the game that much better! However I need to say some negatives Special Abilities need to be automatically used in auto-mode Also, for the love of god, nerf the Mother Weed! That thing is so broken it’s overpowered as humanly possible!! Make Gil more useful, please!!

Great game! Pain to get some characters. The game is great, firstly you don’t need to spend money to get characters so I love that mechanic However the problem is getting those characters, cause if you miss a event it’s going to be a pain to get the characters you missed, as the events go into lost chapters, however the rate at which these are released is mind blowing, as it should be released right after the event as that would make the most sense, NOPE, you have to wait a few months to be released back as a lost chapter. this is the only issue I have and it’s extremely easy to solve, just release the character as a lost chapter as the event ends.

Great game, but a small thing should be added. I have saved up about 150 draw tickets, but you can’t draw in bulk. Could you maybe add a way to draw as many tickets at a time as you want? There doesn’t need to be a guaranteed 5 star weapon or anything, but I don’t want to manually draw 150 tickets. Overall though, I love the game. Gems are easy to get, so In-app perchases aren’t necessary, there are no adds, and the gameplay is simple, but has strategy to it. The things in the store that require real money are extremely expensive, but I see them as ways to support the creators, and not something that’s necessary.

AMAZINGLY FUN. I love this game it’s amazing the graphics the user interface and I especially love that the soundtrack from FinalFantasy7 was brought back 7,9,6 are my favorites in the series 7 being my favorite since it’s release I specially love seeing some of the other characters from the other Final Fantasy games this is both nostalgic and new at the same time I love this game I find it highly addicting definitely would recommend getting it! It’s just plain an amazing game definitely a great step in addition to the series! You guys kept the look of the characters and there mechanics how you updated the look of the characters is nothing short of AMAZING!!!

The Gacha game other Gacha(s) should strive to be. For two and a half years, I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time into this, and I’d say it probably rivals the amount of time I have in Skyrim, (500+), and whenever there’s maintenance going on during the time I would normally play, I usually find myself unable to think of anything else to do. I really enjoy this game. It is definitely one of the best games, let alone mobile games I’ve ever played. The gacha elements are extremely forgiving, and the events / gifts are extremely generous. The co-op missions are rewarding to grind, and the gameplay is simple, fast, and satisfying. Everyone, not only FF players, should try this at least once.

Unfortunately went downhill. What started as once a great game, has become NOTHING MORE than another money grab game. I was a Day one player. Back when the game had only 3 options. Brv atk, hp atk, and special move (15cp). I grinded hard. Only to be met with new players being handed everything from the get go. Because they’ve made their game so unplayable for newbies, you HAVE to be given at least 1-3 full characters. Which they do by giving you access to rigged RNG GACHA pulls. Once you have a few built the rest is up to grinding in game or spending money (if you’re a day one player who used all their resources when the game was still fresh). They’ve released numerous characters that nobody even cares about over popular ones (like rikku or red XIII). Unfortunately this game became stale, as all the updates were just a power creep. Nothing changed other than more damage output to adjust to the higher hp enemies. I miss old dffoo. You guys went downhill around burst era. Everything after chaos mode was just repetitive. Literally just stronger versions of everything we fought. Do better.

Best mobile game I’ve ever played. Normally I’m not a mobile game player however I stumbled across this game by accident. It’s like playing a classic turn based Final Fantasy game! The game has far exceeded my expectations. I never expected it to be so good. The story is great and you get to play as classic heroes and villains alike! Normally I don’t pay to play in games like these however I couldn’t help myself with this one. The best part about it all is that you don’t need to pay to win. You can win playing for free. Great game! Please keep up the great work!

One of the best. Old school final fantasy like FF7. Turn based battles. All final fantasy characters. You want more? Ok, game is completely free to play. You don’t need to pay a single penny to beat story mode or play the other extra modes. And! There are no limits on how long you can play like other mobile games where you wait for your stamina to charge up. None of that. You can play 48 hours straight if you wanted to and beat the story in one session. This is top 5 best final fantasy game ever on mobile or console, and I played them all. Story is not as epic, but still good! Fast paced turn based battle system, one of the best.

LOVE IT. Love the amount of detail that was put into this. Multiple ways to develop each character (love being able to use the villians too) I think it is a very well made game with tons pf things to do. Constant updates and missions. Considering it is a free to play game, it is wonderful. Keeps the original turn based system with a couple of upgrades that make it super fun to play as well. Give this game a try. If you like your final fantasies and like turn based fights, you will love this, specially since you can play with virtually any character from any FF game made. If the character is not in the list, it means that he/she will come out soon.

Best F2P Game!. Ok, I don’t usually write review unless I put a game in high regards. And this is it. Unlike other cash shop heavy games, this game constantly giving you enough gems to pull gatcha weapons. Players can purchase gems, but that does not guarantee they’ll get what they want. I’ve been playing this for almost a month now and they repeatedly impresses me with repeat events, hard to beat bosses which required you to strategize, and gems to be earned. I highly recommend it if you’re a f2p player and or a fan of Final Fantasy. Really loved it.

Loving it!. This is by far the best Final Fantasy gacha-style game I’ve played! There’s a lot of content right from the start. I also like that all the characters unlock naturally (and for free) through the story and events. They give you a good amount of jewels to start (launch bonus is a nice plus) and earning more jewels through missions is easy. What you use jewels for are the weapons for the characters. Yes, you will need 5-Star weapons for a lot of characters to make them worth using later in the game and for certain events, but at least you have the characters and don’t have to spend your jewels to (try) and unlock your favorite FF characters. The other awesome thing is that the story missions have no timers of any kind, you can play to your heart’s content! Other special missions have timers but it’s nice to always have something to do in this game without having to wait for timers to refill. Well done Square-Enix!!

Lacking the Final Fantasy Polish. You come to expect Final Fantasy games to have a level of visual polish making them nice to look at and smooth enough to play even after they’re 10+ years old. This doesn’t have it. It looks and feels like a fan game made in one of those free game engines. The story is supposed to grip you and pull you into the world immediately fellas. Shall we compare it with some of the other online FF games? Final Fantasy 11 for pc: if you want an authentic online Final Fantasy experience with a brilliant story a, vast world, monthly content updates, cinematics and bosses that require strategy and planning with your team to defeat. A proper entry in the series. Final Fantasy 14: if you want Final Fantasy fan-service, a decent yet derivative story and online play requiring minimal communication with other players. A sometimes fun gear treadmill. Makes you do the same content over and over again. Mobius: Final Fantasy: if you don’t have time for either of those and you like a good long grind and a decent story with beautiful graphics for mobile. Not too pay-to-win either! A surprisingly good mobile Final Fantasy game with some annoying repetition. *Will update with thoughts on this game if my experience changes.*

This is a really good game. I download about a year ago and deleted it same day all because I wasn’t into the combat system. Recently, I gave it another try and have regretted losing all that time playing. It’s F2P and has that gatcha gambling aspect but if are in no rush, you can play with no real pressure or hitting that “pay to win” feeling. The gatcha part does make getting new items a drag. The game’s strength is also its weakness: so much to do, so much going on and tons of characters. It great that the game has so much content to keep you entertained but it does make you feel rushed and with so many characters, you got a pool of gear meant for each one to deal with in their drawing system.

Great game minus iOS approval on updates. This is a great game. Very free to play. Yes you can purchase greens to pull more but you don’t have to. The game is very generous with its premium currency. Don’t listen to people complaining saying it’s a money pit. This is a gacha game. Everyone of this style games can cost a lot of money if you try and get every last gacha item. At least this game has a pity system that promises you the ability to get the best weapon if you spend enough gems. Other gacha games pity system I’ve played just increases the percentage rate with still no promise of the item you are looking for.

Love this game. I’ve been playing this game off and on since it’s Japanese release and I have to say it’s a solid RPG. My only gripe is that there is no iPhone X support and I was hoping they would have fixed it with the english release but I can now see that they have no intention of fixing this for this version or the jp version which is annoying. So I have to play this on my iPad Pro because I just can’t look at this game on the iPhone X due to it being reduced to little box. Aside from lack of iPhone X support I love the game and will continue to play. SE just needs to get off their bum and fix it for iPhone X users as well as fixing the rest of their line up of games like mobius and brave EXVIUS.

This is my first time playing a other Square Enix property other than Kingdom Hearts and I’ve really enjoyed it and love the story so far and the gameplay I really can’t wait someday for Dissidia Final Fantasy and Ultimania Kingdom hearts game someday Please square Enix make this game happen. Otherwise I like this game and 5 stars for me, and Please Square Enix put in Sora,Riku,Kairi,Roxas,Xion,Axel/Lea,Aqua,Ventus,Terra and other Kingdom Hearts characters in this game it would be so cool and other square characters like The world ends with you and Neo world ends with you and other much more,Thank You.

Best dissidia game since 012! Just a few things. This dissidia is the best since 012 on psp! I can play with almost all my dream characters and it’s beautiful! The only characters that I want to play with that are missing is Weiss the Immaculate from FFVII DoC and Seice from Type 0. Other than that it’s all of them! There is just one thing that I’d like to ask for t he developers. Is that you update the ex weapon token shop to include weapons for all the characters as of February 2020. Since there is only ex weapons for the main hero’s from ffI-XIII and that’s it. I’d like to be able to purchase any ex weapon. Other than that this game is 20/10 amazing! Love you square!

Need full burst team. I have been playing this for 4 yrs, when are we going to get the capacity to use a team full of ppl and they can all use their burst. It’s not like you have been skill gapping for a while, we know it’s pay to play. But at the end of the day whether it’s a grind or a cash out it’s a cop out to not let us use all the abilities of all of our team members, also would love a replace spell animation for basic attack to conserve time when ppl are grinding for crystals or trying to enhance summons. Just a thought. Love the game, please consider team of full burst

4 stars without a doubt. Bruh, no game is perfect but this game is very close. Huge final fantasy fan. Seven being my favorite of all time. Questions I have are is there summoning available ? Will this game be in real time like star ocean or phantasy star is? Lots of potential here, and I don’t mind spending some cash to keep this game alive. If you don’t play this, you’re an idiot and I don’t like you. Love the mechanics so far, just started playing and I love the idea that there is no energy to play missions and that you can replay each mission to build up. That’s a true grind and a true game that pays for itself. I hope y’all get lots of sponsors for this game. Real talk homie.

Brings back Memories. Game has a lot of potential but that’s what you can expect from the makers of Square Enix. Game is great but I would suggest one small feedback of perhaps shortening the visual effects when it comes to using the special abilities. This will come in handy when you’re trying to complete runs or task that slows down due to the constant visual effects popping up. Maybe have an option to show it once a day, no visuals at all or something to speed up the process of completing something within game. Otherwise, I love it!

A great Final Fantasy Mobile Game. I have played every iteration of Final Fantasy games and most recently Brave Exvius and I have to say this game is one of the best ones. It fuses Dissidia gameplay mechanics with traditional turn based RPG gameplay. It is a micro transaction game but it is more fair than Exvius as it tells you the percentage and the draws are for gear and not actual characters. You unlock new characters through the story and even though it is a generic save the world scenario it is interesting because it encompasses all favorite characters from FF. The only bad thing is that the currency is really expensive so you are better off unlocking currency from playing the game.
