Works Great. I use this to help ring out every room before performers ever get to the show. Maximizing gain before feedback is as simple as pushing the fader nice and slow until you hear the ringing start, then the app tells you exactly what you need to take out. Invaluable if you don’t have a digital mixer with a spectrum analyzer built in.

Good except for upgrade nag. Searching for replacement for Decibel Ultra (stopped working on iPhone 12 ,“no longer available in my region”, but still works on my old iPad ). Spectrum (Audio Spectrum Analyzer) was recommended by a “best of” site, and has most of the features. Unfortunately, the “nag to purchase” popup that occurs at random time intervals makes the app frustrating to use. Also asks for iTunes login on every startup (for unknown reason). Although app was pleasing to the eye, it was deleted for the above reasons.

Used to Be Amazing - I Paid For It. This app used to be absolutely amazing. I paid for it because it was incredible. However it no longer works with the latest versions of iOS. I'm incredibly disappointed. It would be nice if the developer would let us know something; anything at all. Even if it's to say, I'm sorry, I don't have the time to develop this app anymore.

Annoying, but maybe useful. Unsure if there is a timed interval of the pop up advertisement to purchase the “Pro” version or if it is based on how many times you touch something in the app, but it gets very frustrating trying to adjust a complex audio system, while constantly being asked if would like to buy the pro version, which runs $8.99. Annoyances aside, the frequencies being gathered (by 3 additional Apple products, 4 total) seem to be less accurate than they should be. Adjusting 250hz on my head unit’s EQ effected the 125hz bar on the graph in the app. Actively looking for another app that can be more successful.

A new feature?. I wanna be able to see a spectrum of the output of the device I’m using. Say I want to compare the re-creation of the sample to the actual eq curve of the output from the app I’m using to create the sound. Basically as a reference to see how accurate a re-creation of a sample is. Basically a pre-out spectrum.

Requires subscription to use the 7 day trial. Not free. Requires you to subscribe to even trial it. Forget to cancel and it charges you $1.99. Probably great but I guess I won’t be able to figure that out. If possibly please be a little more transparent about the trial in the app description. I can’t be the only one annoyed by this recent trend.

Great to Set cassette speed. Using this with a 3000hz reference cassette tape to set cassette speed more accurately! I had a Walkman that music sounded too fast and sure enough it was! Had to learn FFT settings with line graph for best result! Great App! Thank you!!

No longer does real-time visualization. Something happened that broke this app. It will no longer show real-time vizualizations of your current soundscape. Instead, you get about 1 second of data with a subsequently blank scrolling screen. Formally 4-5 stars. Now broken, alas.

Excellent app!!. I’ve tried a lot of different noise detection apps, and this is one of the better ones. It has excellent graphics.

Not Free. Upon opening the app for the first time, I was prompted to select a subscription level. There is a free trial, but it is only for three days. I did check out the free trial and the features weren’t that great. There’s a decent number of settings, but you have to cycle through all of them instead of selecting what you want.

Very Unhappy User. For the pro version it cost $8.99. It might be worth it if you could hear it but you cannot hear anything I went to analyze something and listen to the play back and you can hear nothing not nothing. How can you know what it analyzed if you cannot hear it play back? It could just be sitting there rolling numbers your direction? If you use any analyzer on your PC or desktop you can hear it why can you not hear this one? So thank you for ripping me off of nine dollars!

Excellent app, especially for the price.. Perhaps the best free spectrum analysis app out there. Very accurate and useful. Highly recommended if you have need for such a thing.

Nerfed. I used to really enjoy this app, however since IPadOS 16 the app is un-usably broken and I am done waiting for a fix. I confirmed that the RTA is wildly inaccurate. I used a Sound Bullet audio test generator to produce a 1KHz tone. The app displays this as 16KHz. Add to this that the app slows or freezes whenever you change settings and you really just have a functionless app. It is a shame as this used to be a very pretty and approachable RTA for simple measurements.

I recommend it. I’ve been using this for the past two years. Works out great so many ways.

What i DO know is they charged my account without authorization. I bought this app. I never used it ( i did open it to look at its interface). I never agreed to a subscription. Suddenly, and without notification, i received monthly generic charges on my linked credit card. No app name was provided. Eventually i traced it to this. beware - shady business practices. Too bad, i hoped to try it one day.

Doesn't work on iOS 16. I absolutely love this app, and up until now it has been totally worth the money up until now. Literally everything has broken in the app. Everything is frozen and it is unusable. Please please please update it to IOS 16 so I can re add this to my must use app list.

Works well needs ability to use better mic. I like the functions currently included. The ability to use a calibrated mic (external) and extend the scan range or bracket a scanning range would be helpful.

Dead since iOS 16. App worked fine for months, but has been useless since my recent upgrades. Support doesn’t even load and there is a Restore Purchase button that is unresponsive. I’ll dig a bit more into this for resolution, but I’m disappointed in the lack of response I got to a previous email on this.

Question. It works well for my phone but not as accurate for my Freinds phone and his is newer…is there a certain setting we have to change?

IOS 16 broke it. This app was great and worked well. I actually bought it for my job because of the interface and all the features it gave. From the release of iOS 16 this app has been completely unusable. Nothing and I mean nothing about it functions properly; incorrect readings when it actually tries to give data, freezing, slow, changing any setting freezes it etc. This being an app that I actually spent money on almost feels like robbery. Funny thing is that iOS has been out for some time and there is still no fix or any word from the devs saying that they are working on it. Will not recommend this app for anyone using iOS 16

Good Good Good. This is a real good app and very customizable. Has a free version that allows to do just about anything with only minor inconvenience of ads.

Popup for Pro Every Few Minutes. App works great, the graphs and functions are decent and well laid out. The one big frustration is the CONSTANT popup asking me to buy the pro version. Left the graph running on my desk for a moment, it popped up. Close it, watch the graph. A minute later, it popped up again. It ended up popping up and blocking the entire screen four times in under ten minutes. If the popup was less frequent (maybe on app launch and every ten minutes or less), or costs less ($8.99 for pro), I’d rate this better. I’m not paying for the pro version simply due to how annoyed I was at the pushy attitude of the app, and have since uninstalled it.

Was not accurate—is it me or the app?. Grabbed this to experiment a little with the “9 tones” or whatever they’re called. I play them on my iPad and use this app on my phone. Not 1 tone was accurate. For example a 528hz tone read as 500hz, 428hz as 396hz, etc. I grabbed a second analyzer app all tones came up perfect. I don’t think it’s me but perhaps it is! I would still advise anyone interested download multiple apps to find the one that works.

Great Analyzer but getting error. I have used this app for a while and really enjoy it. Recently with an update of iOS now when I try to switch from the A band it errors and I am unable to switch.

Works but nags constantly. This app works as it should but I have uninstalled it because it was so busy nagging me to buy the pro version I didn’t have time to love it enough to buy it. Additionally, it will not allow music to play on the same device that is running the app. This may be unavoidable but disappointing.

Work’s really well. It was easily able to find the peaks of high pithed sounds from an Arduino Nano that I hooked up to a piezoelectric buzzer.

Great tool. Easy to use and cost effective. I upgraded to premium and the unlocked version gives me lots of flexibility. Easy to use. I just have to leave my screen up. Lol

Octave Band RTA Isn’t Working Correctly. Really like the app however I noticed the frequency numbers do not match the spectrum in the RTA mode. The spectrum looks accurate but the numerical results are not. Also the feedback button doesn’t work under help so I couldn’t reach out to the developer that way to explain the issue. I think if they fix that issue this will be a great app.

Excellent for quick and dirty measurements. This app has been an excellent everyday supplement to my more involved measurement mic and software DSP. Also works great as a basic SPL meter to set approximate volume levels. Whenever I don’t need to or feel like setting up my full measurement rig, this app will let me know if my system and my room are behaving as they should be. With so many unreliable, ad-driven, and overpriced audio measurement apps in circulation, this one is a pleasant surprise.

Exhaust. I used this app for simply testing the sound level of my exhaust to check if it was too loud for my state standards, which, thanks to this app, I know it is not

No longer usable in newer versions of iOS and iPadOS. This app used to be quite usable and helped me a lot. Unfortunately as of iOS 16.2 and app version 2.2.1 it is broken on iPhone and iPad. The app starts but it only randomly actually starts showing the spectrum. Most of the time it looks totally silent with a flat graph.

Its fine.... The spectrometer it self is great, but how your app adds it in is horrible. Every minute, it tells me to get the pro version which makes the app useless. The fristrating part is that it doesn’t even show any real ads. All it shows me is to upgrade to pro. Additionally, I don’t need or want ANY of the pro’s features. There are no ads, the accuracy is good enough and I don’t even know what FFT & RTA is! Make an option to just shush it up!

Has some problems…. Using this app on iPhone 14 pro max. It seems to freeze and stutter often when switching FTT settings. Will stop analyzing if changing settings too quickly.

GREATEST Free App so far!. Awesome App and It's Free! LOVE it! Have tried many other but nothing like this for Free, as it was free it pushes me to upgrade to the full version even though it's not necessary as this free version gives me everything I need! A BIG 👍

Lock phone in lanscape mode. App only run in landscape, then impossible to regain control of phone neither able to shut down app. Very annoying to have to turn off phone when using app

Customer service non existent. I really wanted this app to work but after buying the upgrade and paying the monthly fee it won’t measure “C” weighted or slow, all I get is an error message and when I hangs the FFT it stops until I change it to the lowest setting. If they can get mine to work right I would be more than happy to renew but after several months of unanswered emails I need to think about it out of principle. So if you read this help me out and I’ll change my review gladly.

Doesn’t go above 20khz. I wanted to see frequencies up to 50khz (to see if any annoying electronics are making loud noises that my dog can hear) but it only goes up to what humans can hear. Also ad pop up is HORRIBLE! Literally every 2 seconds.

Great App to Analyze a Strange Noise in Home. We had encountered a buzzing noise that came and went. The noise was coming from the ceiling my office like it was originating in attic. Was it a bee hive or hornet infestation, wind causing vibrations in eves or loose roof components or more serious issue some kind of electrical hum or buzz. I thought if only I had a spectrum analyzer I could rule out an electrical issue if the noise was 60 HZ or a 120 Hz harmonic. So I thought my phone has a microphone and it certainly could analyze sound . So I found this App for my iphone. It showed the primary vibration was 101 HZ so I felt relieved. But what was it? The room next door was a bathroom and the noise was louder but still coming from the ceiling. So then I thought toilets can cause funny noises. I took off the tank lid and waited until the noise was loudest and touched the float arm hitch was connected to the auto shutoff valve . It was vibrating like crazy and the noise went away . But I still could not understand why the noise was coming from above. Then I thought the plumbing stack vent was just like a pipe in a pipe organ. The vibration in the tank made the column of air in the stack vent resonate. Strangest annoying sound and plumbing issue I have ever heard of in my life. I fixed it by turning the float adjustment screw just a bit. The technology in a smart phone seems to be unlimited.

Clean Design... but wanted Line In option. It gets four stars because IF you only wanted to use the not so great built-in microphone of your device then it seems to work very well. I was actually willing to pay for a way to unlock a Line-In feature but nothing told me that the feature exists. The fact that the spectrum plot can hold the peaks is a real nice and makes your app more useful. The pop up is super annoying, but being an App developer myself...I understand how selfish people just expect a great feature rich App to be all for FREE (i gave up thinking i could be paid for all my hard work). Just for fun, you can check out my Free iPhone App FlipNshare ProVideo. I did uninstall the app only because i need Line-In feature, please let me know if it’s actually available.

Well done!!. Excellent, excellent software, FFT and sound analysis work Elena... the tools are great... beautifully done! The iPhone 7 microphone is well calibrated. Using the 8k FFT in high resolution work, believe you could go to a 16k no problem. Thank you very much!

Great Ap. This is a great ap. I use it every time I mix a show to ring out feedback in the system.

“Upgrade to Pro” ruins it.. This app works great and has a very nice interface. The only and very big downfall is every 2 minutes, I timed it, the app will stop working and a full page ad to “upgrade to pro version” covers the entire screen. You then have to press the close button to get rid of it and your good to go. Then 2 minutes later the same thing pops up. This will happen every 2 min as long as you are using the app. Very very distracting and annoying. If it was for this it would be 5 stars.

Why wait?. I have been using this for months! Best Spectrum Analyzer I could find. Works very well. Has calibration options. What more could you need?

Nice App - Annoying Ad. Very nice app. Gave me exactly what I was looking for, a way to tune my small living room surround sound system. The only gripe is the completely annoying “buy me, buy me” pop up ad that covers the entire screen every 30 seconds. Make the purchase option an icon in options and stop covering up the screen. Then this app will be a perfect 5 stars.

Used to be great, but no more.... I’ve used this app for several years, paid for Pro, and found it to be excellent, until a recent upgrade that totally broke the spectrum analyzer aspect of it on both my iPhone 6s and iPad Air. The problem is related to mic sensitivity, it will register the very loudest of sounds. It may have to do with mic calibration or something, but I complained about it some time ago and nothing has been done. I’m looking at other apps that actually work.

Looks good so far. Seems to work, there is a subscription option, but doesn't seem to be necessary. Note the recording mic is on bottom of phone. Would like options for dark background and graphs.

Does not work in the new Apple iOS 16.1. Love the app. Purchased it too. Does not work with the latest apple iOS system. Ratz! Hopefully soon! So will rate it a 5 star in hopes it returns!

Missing major feature. The analyzer works fine, but what good is an analyzer without a signal generator? Tried to use a separate app, but when I switch to this app it disables output of signal generator app, so it’s really not useful to me at all. Good thing I didn’t pay for the pro version

Useful tool but lacks that one thing.... The complainers about the purchase ad are ridiculous. People don’t make apps without an expectation of getting paid for them. The loudest frequency tracking feature is super cool. The lack of a dB-C weighting is keeping me from buying. Level measurement for music needs it. If that ever shows up I’ll buy.

Very good with one issue. The app is very intuitive and has plenty of fun tools to look at the information. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the spectrograph axis do not change from the normal FFT plot so it’s difficult to see exactly what frequency you are looking at when interrogating on the display.

No Support. Good app but needed support in purchasing.

Can’t restore purchases. I already paid for the Pro version on my iPad but cant restore the Pro version on my iPhone? Do I have to pay for each device separately?

Fantastic audio analysis. I use the app (I happily paid for the full version) in churches and small live venues for basic ringing out (setting GEQ on the desk) of PA speakers and foldback monitors. I’ve also used it for the dB-A SPL measurement as unbiased data when there’s a dispute about something being too quiet or too loud. The app does simple audio analysis, and does it extremely well. It’s not a complex app to use, it does just what I need it to.

False advertising..... $2.99/month isn’t free. False advertising

The only of its kind. Great to analyse vocal dynamics

App stopped working on iOS 16. Love the app. But it no longer functions on iOS 16.

Good app but. It’s a good app, good lay but unable to get support. Email to developer bounced and website offers no way of contacting the developer. I just wanted to know if the pro version allows you to save recordings and view them later. But not prepared to purchase if I can not contact the developer!

Doesn’t work on iOS 16.1.1. Great app but doesn’t work on iOS 16.1.1.

Excellent little app. Excellent little app, lots of fun, working out where each area of noise comes from.

Great but needs tutorials. This is a really great app and in my experience it has been accurate plus or minus 1Hz. I found it hard to use at first since I had no previous audio knowledge and didn’t know what the different types of graphs were. Having tutorials that explained terms/windows/graphs would make it far more accessible.

App stopped working and not supported. App stopped working with iOS16 and not supported. Looks like similar/same app now a paid subscription app and existing customers forgotten.

Great for checking dB’s and peaks. Great app, thanks

Spectrum. A very handy tool.

Spectrum analyser. Wonderfully accurate and easy to use.

Almost. I use the premium version in my car audio. Unfortunately you can’t play music from your phone through aux/lightning so you need an additional source to play tones and songs. A vertical orientation would be nice. Overlaying Templates for sound curves would be amazing so you could tune an audio system to something like the Harmon Kardon ideal sound curve

Great Tool!. This inexpensive app has proven remarkably effective in helping me to set up my audio system, most specifically, my subwoofer. Subwoofers for audio systems are different than those for home theatre systems. They require much more careful blending of the lower frequencies of the main speakers and the upper frequencies of my sub. Audio subs must “disappear” by simply enhancing the main speakers, make them sound bigger without the boominess and excessive volume that is often a part of a home theatre. I tried doing it by ear but True fine tuning can only be done with measurements…. It has saved me much time, head scratching and guessing…. I am very pleased.

Learning. I’m enjoying the program

Useless. I sing a tone, followed by a higher frequency tone, spectrum peak does not change .

Selected Frequency is incorrect in Octave RTA mode. When selecting an Octave to monitor it always shows 23Hz, it doesn’t change to the selected one, but the dB is accurate for the selected octave (bar in yellow), in FFT Plot it is working as it should.

Inaccurate. Ran a pure tone sweep and its response was unsatisfactory, move on for anyone wishing to use it professionally. Stopped being in a general range after 3khz. You get what you pay for..this app being free lol

does what it promises to do. the ability to adjust frequency range would be appreciated

Tricked!. Latest update forces user to subscribe to paid version of app. No free version with ads is available anymore.

Just what I am looking for!. This tidy and very useful little app measures the frequencies of the various sounds around me in real time. I will use this data in consultation with my Audiologist to develop custom sound memories for my hearing aids. As such, I will filter out the noises I don’t want or need to hear and focus on the ones that matter. Thank you, Marina for your great work on this app! PK

Excellent!. Excellent for checking for high frequency audio noise.

Only shows 500Hz. I tried it out. It only showed 500Hz to whatever sounds. I won’t be buying the pro version.

Tealky amazing if your phone has the tools. Try

Analyze works Great. It works

Too soon to tell. App won’t let me in to try it out. Could be great. Who knows?

Spectrum. Does what it is supposed to do Highly recommend.

Buy the app. Why I can’t buy the app ?? It says error retry…

Refund please it freezes all the time. Refund please

Don’t waste your money like I did.. I purchased this app last year and it worked okay until two weeks ago. It will not work correctly and it was a nightmare trying to get in contact with the developer. I tried Apple support to help me just to get in contact with this developer, all to no avail. Don’t waste your money, There is no support, buyer beware!! What’s even more galling, there isn’t anyway to rate zero stars or you won’t be able to send a review. I had to give this piece of crap 1 star just to send my review, it really should be -5 stars!!

Not free. The app store does not disclose price

Really stupid subscription required. Can’t use without subscription

pretty cool app. sayd it's intended for iPad, but is it calibrated for an iPad's built-in mic? it would be nice if i could tell whether i was looking at the frequency response of the source vs the receiver. or am i expected to connect up a calibrated mic to the ipad somehow?

Really good on my iPhone. Super handy, although also hears every noise in the room, but, that’s good, right?

App used to be amazing, no longer works. Developer doesn’t respond to support emails. App launches but does nothing on iOS 16. When it worked it was a fantastic tool. I used it a lot doing live sound mixing for bands in small venues.

Not worth the bother. Not worth the bother of having to deal with the pop-up ad for upgrading. It’s constant and frequent. Any utility the app has is completely ruined by the anger having to deal with the pop-up creates

Great resolution and accuracy.. Very nice and accurate app imo. Low octaves and frequencies supported.

Update Soon, Please?. I’ve used the Spectrum app for quite a while until recently. I booted up the app to get an analysis and then found that it is not receiving any input from my iPhone mic or even other peripherals. Hope you guys can update this soon.

Horrible. Signed me up before I could snap my fingers and then took over the phone- couldn't get back into portrait mode nor switch between apps- needed a drastic reboot

Not very useful. This app asks you to upgrade to premium every few seconds interrupting any measurements you are trying to make. I’m not saying the utility should necessarily be free, but the free version of this utility has no actual utility.

Great app to see frequencies of sounds. Can be very helpful in demonstrating how frequencies double every octave.

very good. Very simple, no ads. Wish there were color options, but it is the only analyzer for internally played music.

Good analyzer- don’t try it in a meeting though!. I was trying free version out running audio in a large meeting when suddenly an ad blaring loud sound effects started playing. Very embarrassing, not cool for an audio app, deleted immediately. Analyzers seemed decent

No dbA max?. I got this app for just one reason, monitoring max dbA in my studio. Despite showing max of the raw db, and a constant readout of dbA, without a dbA max it’s too hard to use for this.

iphone7s plus bug. It doesn’t read the correct frequency on an iPhone 6S plus. It’s off by a factor of more than 10. The bar chart is accurate but the display at the top doesn’t coincide with the bar chart.

Constant ads ruins the app. No more than 2 starts because of the constant ads popping up for the pro version. More than 1 star cause it does work at least.

A must have in my live sound toolbox. 5 stars! Would stick with the free version if not for the timing of the ads popping up while I have been trying it out. I will definitely be purchasing the full hopefully ad free version because IT IS WORTH IT. The ads always pop up when I am ringing out my wedges and feedback in monitors with my GEQ on my ipad and this RTA Spectrum just as the frequency that I’m trying to isolate starts to take off and start screaming and I have no free hand to hit the little “X” and close the popup window. That being said, I have been using the free version for the past 5 years doing live sound 5-7 days a week in all very different rooms with passive speakers with and power amps or powered active wedges. As I started working with the Midas Pro series, there is no RTA in the app parametric or GEQ UI, so, I tried several free versions of SPL dB Meters and Real Time Analysis Spectrum of frequencies humans can hear. I used this with all sorts of different wedges and gain up my mic preamp on a vocal channel to about 3/4 to where I want it to be and still have the headroom without blowing myself away on a hot mic yet to have been EQ’d. I have pretty good ear training in my training and career because of practice and I can use auditory memories relative to frequencies accurately but with a live band on stage as the FOH engineer or as a monitor engineer calling a frequency close to the problem is helpful but not quite fast enough to get band and pull 6-8dB down in the 2.6kHZ to 8kHz zone where that screaming feedback is so piercing you need to grab it immediately. Many many many options for visual representation and dynamic peak hold time, a pause feature (AWESOME, you can pause the moment you see that frequency and then pull the mic away, let the feedback fade out and then find the peak in that range). Overall it’s pretty darn accurate with RTA overall SPL dB levels. I have put it side by side with professional dB meters and it may have a tiny bit of latency compared to pro meters and not as much detail in the readout but it always matches up. Both the SPL meter, and RTA are lightning fast with such a detailed spectrum analyzer that is accurate and fast enough for even the non-resonant transients you can see all the peaks and valleys then pause it and get a detailed look at all them in your own way to find harmonic overtones or little areas you like on a track looking for a little boost and to begin to identify these different instruments in full mixes with an easy to use GUI on a sharp looking fullscreen view is great if you need something for live audio. Feedback Detection, Detailed and Dynamic customizable views, many options for your specific needs, fast, accurate and broad ranging looks at overall mixes and SPLs in front of the line array and in the back of the room, the ability to pause the analysis, get a quick snapshot in time to find that frequency feeding back at 3.6kHz the second you point your mic at the wedge and as quickly as it starts to be audible is something that is a game changer for full time or part time engineers.

RC Bassman. Great app! I use it for everything from tuning instruments to live sound checks.

High frequencies in a room?. At the upper range of hearing something is producing a high frequency in my Church. I need to know its volume level. This is a safety issue.

Very user friendly, great app!. Great app to have on hand to perform sound checks as well as acoustics.

No I will not get premium.. One review timed the interval between invasive pop ups telling them to get premium, and saw that they were two minutes apart. I counted 30 seconds max.

Annoyware - every 2 mins go pro popup. How many times will you ask me to go pro before I give up on your app? Bottom line is that you lost a potential pro customer that you wanted so bad. Less is more.

Could be better if not for pop up message. Turn off the “get pro” notification that pops up all of the time! Great app otherwise but I’m deleting soon because of the pop up.

Does not work anymore. I bought last year and can’t use it anymore pls fix it I have last version of iOS and iPhone 13 Pro

Not working properly in iOS 16. FFY and spectrograph don’t work anymore in iOS 16 on my iPhone 12 mini. Unfortunate because that’s mainly what I used. Hope this can be fixed soon.

Beware of Russian Malware. I have tried the program and it appears to work well. I have not compare with professional equipment to verify its result. However I have serious reservations using a program developed in Russia. The Russian troll company has already been linked to false news during the election. Given the app requires access to your phone’s microphone it can easy be used to listen in on private conversations. Buyer beware is my point.

Doesn’t work. Used the trial a couple of times and liked it. As soon as I paid for and downloaded the pro version it now no longer works at all. Guess I should have checked the reviews first since over updated to iOS 16.

Use it daily. I use this daily in my mixing. It’s been a lifesaver!

Nice app but.... Nice App. But, FREE is just the same as PRO not much difference. Hope improve more so I can clearly see the difference.

App not working. This app just doesn’t work anymore. It used it. It looks like the developer has neglected it. There is a free app similar to this. It works as expected and just as well or better.

Used to prove noise issue to landlord. I have sensitive hearing, my landlord does not, and I used this app to prove noise disturbance from air conditioning. The evidence saved me $3000 in moveout fees. Very grateful.

Controlled limiter. They purposely designed the app so it Only operates at half the accuracy as it would if you bought it.

Spectrum. Very accurate for a iPhone app.

Works well. Useful

George. Highly recommended

Difficult to evaluate. An upgrade nag pops up every few seconds, interrupting whatever you’re doing and forcing you to deal with it. Can’t meaningfully evaluate an app under those operating conditions. Deleted after being interrupted four times in less than five minutes.

Worst scam ever. This app basically obligates you to buy the full thing or else, they give you adds every 25 seconds LITERALLY!!! Even when the phone is on airplane mode. Not fun to use, and not clear or user friendly. Definitively erasing it FOR GOOD!!

Nice app. Shows detailed live ambient sound across frequency spectrum.

Waiting for IOS 16 Fix. As others have mentioned… App used to work great, now gives incorrect frequency readings, it is slow, freezes, etc. Please fix! Thank you!

Doesn't even open. Wow, apples kissing they're grip to well made apps for 💰 it's kinda too bad they had this sheen to them, but now it's a lotta obvious stuff going on, getting a refund stat.

App isn't accurate. Compared the dba and spectrum readings with db meter app and my physical meter and this one is 10dbs off on both ipad and iphone. No help manual. Emailed support with no response. I would say find another app.

Non stop interuption. I get it that a premium upgrade is available. This app reminds you about every 40 seconds that a upgrade is available. Terrible

Spectrum is very good. I bought a Reed meter which was very good but it was $200. This app seems better for $5

Good analyzer but very user unfriendly. No manual, 4 short paragraphs in help menu provide very little help. Impossible to identify frequencies of multiple peaks because cursor line jumps to wherever it wants. No save function for each spectrum (except screen shot). Questions to developer by email remain unanswered.

Does not work any more!. I really liked this app but with the bug fixes it stalls and is very unreliable. That’s been a year ago and still not fixed. Deleted it from my iPad Pro 2021

Not accurate for RTA use. This app looks nice, but I can’t get much use out of it. Frequency data below 100 Hz is not accurate. Disappointed I paid to use the “Pro “ version. Deleting this one from my iPad.

Pay app. No mention of paying until you download. Shame on you. Now I won’t pay even though it’s inexpensive. It should say. In app purchases.

beware of inaccuracies. this app is inaccurate and it doesnt work. the help section shows an error and also theres no way to clear anything out after it starts picking stuff up except closing it out and re opening. even with headphones in there seems to be an inaccuracy. to top it off wants to charge a subscription when the help/instruction part of the app isnt working is wild. yall be safe!

Works Great!. I use this along with Sig Gen and Oscope to troubleshoot loudspeakers. Beats having a bunch of test equipment laying about.

Exactly what you want it to do. Great app.

Doesn’t work right for me. I gave the app 2 stars for its potential greatness but as of now the frequency value displayed at the top doesn’t change when the cursor is moved, so I can’t use it to pinpoint frequencies like I’d planned.

Audio Spectrum Analyzer. Do no see modes that I had before buying. I do see how to change scales, save or print a display. FFT resolution has no change. Fail to see advantage in buying it. Donald Fuelling
