Don’t spend a single dime on this game.. Just play it free until you stop having fun and drop it like a bad habit. After playing for a couple of months I can say with authority that you WILL hit a paywall, where you won’t feel like you’re making any progress unless you’re spending money, and the wall will get worse and worse the longer you play. I haven’t made noticeable progress in several weeks of regular play (doing all the dailies, etc). Enemies have become too hard, progress too slow, and the price tag to progress WAY too steep. Again, if you insist on playing this I highly recommend that you resist the desire to spend because it will only leave you lighter in the wallet and bitter in the end. Enjoy the game for free, but walk away the moment you feel like you have to spend in order to have fun. You could easily drop thousands, possibly 10’s of thousands on this game and not finish leveling up any of your units. It’s not worth it.

Ok but pay to play. This is an awesome concept! However it gets difficult quickly requiring you to upgrade your guys. In order to get gold you have to play your campaign (best way to get gold) still not a deal breaker again. Then you upgrade your troops with character gems and gold. This is where you have problems. After you get the gold from the campaign levels you can’t go back and get more gold from them. This means you rely on the gold you gain from the campaign. Once the campaign gets to rough and your about to throw your phone you realize you need to buy a character to really move on. I know you can get gold from fighting in arena but it’s not much. And again you need to upgrade your characters to keep winning arena battles. These also get harder quick. They also have guild boss battles that your team has to destroy..... yeah you get a few guild coins but it helps a little Not much. The Fix? Make it that you can go back and get gold from previously beaten levels. Maybe not as much as the first time. I’m going to keep playing for a few weeks if nothing changes then I’m gone.

Never gets old. It’s so weird to say this about a casual mobile game, but this game changed my life. I’ve been playing it every day for almost three years. The guild battle (dungeon) mode led me eventually to a Discord community (Reddit United) of friends I talk to daily. They’re all over the world and I know many of them better than my own coworkers and family. I also joined the Facebook group which is run by a brilliant and hilarious community manager. And that, in turn, led me to become part of the beta testing group for the past two years. I’ve worked in game development for 11 years. Through the transparency, patience and generosity of the Snowprint devs I have learned more about game design through this beta testing group than I ever have in school or as an actual game developer. They have a deep desire to make the game their players want, and spend many hours every week engaging with us beta testers as player advocates. For my part I don’t have much to ask them for. I love the game. It gives me a mental bubble to think and problem solve. That helps me in both work and personal situations. And I cannot remember life without the tight knit group of friends I’ve made in my beta testing group and in my Discord server. It’s great to have a community of like minded people to discuss interesting topics with day or night. This game gives so much more than it takes.

Still fun, but looks like much more of a grind. A lot of changes with the new update, some better, some that I’m more skeptical about. I appreciate the conversion shop giving access to trying creatures I’d never played with or upgraded before. That’s been very cool. Though tbh, a lot of the new creatures seem like tweaked reskins of old creatures. It’s great that legendaries are more readily available to those of us that were missing out before. However, the upgrade costs are much higher and the power levels required in game are also much higher, so it looks like it’ll be quite the grind once the conversion shop dries up. The only truly unfortunate change is that gameplay itself is much more gated by creature tiers now - commons and rares are basically useless outside of their low reward events. I do miss all creatures being somewhat viable, people played all sorts of teams. Maybe there’s some way to balance them out during versus and clan type modes?

Continued forced shutdowns. Have been playing the game consistently over the past few days now and have been enjoying it overall, aside from one rather frustrating flaw I’ve continued to experience. The game will, almost at random or when I receive notifications, force itself to shut down, booting me out of a current game. When this happens I’m out the spent energy, passes, and other items used to enter into the challenges and receive no reward or compensation for when this occurs. It has led to many frustrating moments as I am about to complete a difficult challenge or battle, only to have it nulled due to this bug. Hopefully it will be resolved so I can get back to enjoying it even more so than I currently am.

Very good start. I enjoyed playing so far but would enjoy more opportunities to gain more gold and prizes. Would love to be able to replay levels, maybe gain more points if we beat our scores. For now I feel locked in and forced to advance through the game although I really don’t understand how the game works. I get it, I make combos. What I really don’t see is the enemy moves. Sometimes they attack, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes I get hit, sometimes I don’t. Don’t really understand how any move I make can really combat the enemy or influence any moves they make. Kinda feel like I’m playing a slot machine where it doesn’t really matter, just watching what the results will be. I want to know o beat the round, that my intelligence beat the level. Wish I had more rows and columns of my characters and have more characters on the field. Feels too small. Feels too cramped. Feels like not much of a challenge and worse, at the end of a level, the prizes are so minimal. The prizes should be dependent of how well one plays a level. If we make excellent combos and win in the fewest amount of moves, then we should receive much more coins and stones... much much more. I really want to like this game. Wish I could pick the avatar. Wish I could decide the name, the gender, the look... would be awesome to get an LGBT option. As I win levels, would love to win customization options for my avatar. Really, really want to like this game. Hope there are improvements to come. Version 2.0?

Not worth it. Great game in the beginning of development with lots of potential. Unfortunately Snowprint, the developer, has never been able to grow along with the game. Very immature organization and seems to have gotten worse over time. Result has been a stagnant game where the player base has diminished to the point that it’s really a few hundred people mainly playing with and against their own alts. Ethics violations are all over the place as cheats are rarely (if ever) punished and even hacks publicly exposed take almost half a year to fix. Most of these persisting issues are intentional by the developers as the only people spending here are unfortunately newer players that fall into their pyramid scheme related to chasing said players abusing the hacks or using third party apps for endless resources. Eventually most players catch on and leave. Updates are slow to come by and when they do happen they are riddled with crashes and commonly take the game backwards rather than forwards. Even attempts to improve player/developer communications through an ‘ambassador program’ are poorly created and executed. The player ambassadors that actually stuck with it are all on the same few teams and operate with a mindset to restrict the game and preserve their status quo above all else. In summary download anything but this….

Lots of Fun!. I’m really enjoying Legend of Solgard. The matches are varied from very easy to maddeningly difficult, and the challenge level doesn’t always seem to be tied to the journey level. I’ve seen some complaints from people that you gather game stuff and xp too slowly, or that you have to pay to win. I can comfortably play in the morning and evening without running out of energy and I’m not buying from the store. (Sorry, King) However, I did pony up for a $4.99 special because I’ve honestly had a lot of enjoyment so far and look forward to more. I’m always surprised by people who are shocked at the concept of paying something for an app—do they really think companies make them because they don’t plan to earn any money? Having a guild group that works together to whittle down a boss is nice, although it looks like we have no chance against the coiners in the leaderboards. I totally love the fact that the store will hang on to two treasure chests for you since I need to be at work during the day or getting some sleep, so 8 hours away is no big deal. (Thanks, King!) The characters are very cute and I love most of the animations except for that thing Grimchop does—you’ll know when you see it! I’m no expert in match 3 games and I’m sure there’s always room for improvement, but I’m having fun, I’m never quite sure if I’m going to be pumping my fist or groaning in despair after a hard-fought battle, and I love the graphics. Try it out!

Great game, but unfair experimentation on players like lab rats. I love this game, I really do. The gameplay mechanics are fun, there’s a great creature variety that can be built up over time, lots of fun play modes, and a very engaged player community. This could be really big over multiple years if Snowprint/King manage it well. Why one star? They’re not managing it well, they’re doing the exact opposite. There has been a long-standing “test” that gives dramatically better gold rewards to some players and much worse rewards to others. This is creating a toxic haves and have-nots culture in the game. Great players who love the game but drew the wrong straw are quitting. It is straight up poor management of a player base and not okay. End the experiment and put everyone on a level playing field before you completely destroy the player base you’ve built! * Updated Jan 28: all the feedback seems to have worked and with the latest update they’ve put players all back onto the same equal footing, so upping the rating to 5 stars again

Great Game!. This match-3 is amazing! There is strategy involved in this game, but the learning curve is easy enough. I haven’t dropped any real money on it yet after a couple weeks of playing. The game is less of a grind, and more of strategy involved to pass levels. In order to progress, I recommend playing all of the Game Modes, as you earn coin for leveling, and tokens for the heroes every game. Very good job. (Update 11/18) I finally uninstalled the game. This one was so good as I mentioned before, but unfortunately it was a pay to win/super grindy game come the 2nd map. The difficulty will scale up drastically to the point where you will spend a lot of time trying to build up characters. And with the major lack of Gold rewards (why it’s a 4-star rating), this becomes twice as hard. Therefore, after months playing since it release, I have Become disappointed with the games lack of progression options, and steep difficulty shift.

Shame on you, King!. I will start by saying that the game I’m it’s basic design is fun and has a nice story. I will also start by saying, to be clear, this review is NOT an issue between those who pay and those who don’t. Unfortunately, I would recommend everyone to stay away and not download the game. King has engaged in what could be determined as borderline illegal business practice by making the game completely unfair between people doing the exact same thing at equal levels: some are getting massive amounts of gold while others in equal circumstances are getting pittance, and it’s not just a random chance chest thing - there are two tiers of gold payout for the player base, basically those in a poverty tier and those in a wealthy tier, and those tiers are (apparently) randomly assigned. Meanwhile they’ve hiked up all the gold prices in the game so those who are not in the wealthy tier are unable to acquire goods to advance at a pace even remotely close to those who are. I really did like the game, but I refuse to play a game where it is completely unfair between equal circumstance players. To be clear, this is NOT an issue between those who pay and those who don’t. Shame on you, King, for this kind of treatment to your players, especially when you had a really good game design! 😠

A view from level 11.. Solgard isn’t unique, but it’s blend of genres and lack of significant paywalls makes for a fun experience. For those stuck on any specific level, understand that in any match 3 game you may have to wait for a few lucky breaks. That being said, I’ve never had to run any level more than twice to pass, and I’m on level 100 or so. Try different heroes too, common heroes can easily trump epic or legendary if used in the right circumstances. Although they do offer a lot of iaps, none are necessary. If you were to spend, those that give lots of the same sunshards are useful. I purchased Valkyrie and that went a very long way.

Lots to do, great mechanics and characters (updated). If you are thorough, you can play this game every day and get amazing rewards over time. Join a guild and get more rewards . Between normal map missions that require the usual energy that recharges over time, and the “Titan” battles where you collectively chip away at a large enemy, there are many other things to do. It will infuriate you as any “random” game will but it’s worth playing, and after you get to a high enough level, you’ll have much to do and rewards to make your characters stronger. Great concept (that was my review BEFORE the new update) Update: 1 Star. This is officially the last time I will have have this game crash during a boss battle when I have dealt over 2000 damage only to log back in to discover no damage at all was recorded and my flags(attempt) was used up. This is unacceptable. This has been going on for almost 2 years now. It is affecting my guilds ranking and it’s just lazy. People have been complaining about this on the forums and in these reviews and you clearly have not given it the attention it deserves. Bottom line: you have FAILED to make your game more stable and fix the glitches and crashes that have been an ONGOING issue and instead chose to revamp the system and turn the currency upside down, making several key crafting items unavailable without paying money. Disgraceful. I will be uninstalling this game and recommending EVERYONE I know to stay away from it.

What a disaster. At the core of this game is a fun, innovative color match system that really works well. Everything else is a complete mess. There are probably 30 different currencies, tons of limiting timers, and poorly explained games. Some games reward one currency, that you can spend on another, that you can use to buy chests, that reward you with even more currencies. It’s like spin-the-choice or choose-the-spin. There are lots of attempts to deceive the player into accidentally spending semi-premium currencies due to obscure timers that aren’t obvious. Some times it implies you can play games when you actually can’t. I understand they want to monetize, and that’s fine, but the menus are a confusing labyrinth of muck. It’s a testament to the quality of the core game that it all holds together.

Sad. Sadly most reviews are based off the initial play and not the later. THe multiplayer wyrm basically acts as an attack to speed up the game however in 3 moves you have to defend the opponents regular attacks, attack with your own and now also defend the wyrm that gets stronger with each turn. It is frustrating to outplay someone in every aspect and then a wyrm moves to the next lane to do 10 damage and nothing is blocking it. The paywall is there and while I’m still only around level 50 or so I unlocked 1 character only. Unlocked my second character through multiplayer which wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t for the wyrm getting so strong so fast. The overall game can be fun but how do you enjoy a game when you play as the same characters until you unlock the next one which takes a ridiculous amount of time as well as have to upgrade your character based off getting the same character tokens they give which also takes a ridiculous long time. Another grind for months on end game and even getting the characters you want will end up costing you.

Well rounded game, one huge problem. I like this game, but I had to come and wrote a review. I have gotten so frustrated with the “PVP” system that I am about ready to delete the game. Some how I jumped up 2 levels very quickly and now I am in the “masters bracket” fighting against people who have stuff that is 1 level above my guys. It’s amazing how much a difference that makes and it wouldn’t be a problem except for you don’t get demoted if you are bad in your league. So now, I am forced to fight pvp battles that I can’t win and it’s infuriating that I have to do at least 2 of these a day in order to get my daily chest. It’s maddening to the point where I am almost done with this game. Also, I am never going to buy anything because it’s pricing model is way off. The amount of gems it takes to get one guy is like $20 to $40 dollars, and that’s just stupid. $3-$5 and I might be in, but certainly not without fixing PVP.

Don’t be fooled. I loved this game the first two days. I invested a decent amount of cash because it seemed I would get a lot of play time out of it. Everything was progressing at a hood pace and I felt my time and money investment were worthwhile. On day three everything changed dramatically. First, you only have enough energy to attempt 4 campaign levels at a time. Second, the events become exponentially more difficult requiring you to either spend (more) real money or fail at the same junk for days on end. Third, and the worst, the wording they use in purchases are intentionally deceiving. A “good” chance at a legendary is around 7% and a “great” chance at a legendary character is a whopping 16%. These stats can only be found by tapping a very small ? Icon in the corner. Those are not “good” or “great” odds considering they cost the equivalent of $20-$40. In addition, the most recent event is worded “trade pumpkins for foulsprite gems” leading you to believe it is guaranteed. After spending real money on pumpkins I did not receive any gems and found out there is only a 50% chance to get them. The wording should say “trade pumpkins for a CHANCE of foulsprite gems”. In sum, do not waste your time or money. The developer is deceitful and not worthy of your hard earned cash.

Unrealized Promise. The core game is an excellent puzzle game. Reminds me of cancelled Supercell game using a Ghostbusters theme. There is a lot to love initially. Unfortunately, the game is marred by poorly tuned advancement mechanics and developers that don’t seem to be able manage more than worsening the player experience through routinely releasing even more characters to collect, slowing the player down further in what is already a glacial pace. There are few original levels for the style of game, difficulty spikes that require days to weeks of slow, tedious repetition to beef up units to get past, strategy and skill takes a back seat to stats, and expensive in-app purchases for tiny increases in power. The game was in limited release earlier, and been global since summer 2018, but you would never know it. Multiple “coming soon” features are found throughout and little comes off as polished or finished. I had never heard of Snowprint Studios before starting this game after it was promoted by Apple, and now I know why. There’s lots of potential, but ultimately frustration and boredom unless you have either a plethora of patience or money to throw at it.

Devs greed gone too far with Oct/Halloween update. I loved this game. I advanced quite always and played daily. Which makes me walking away and deleting this game all the more painful. It’s like breaking up with that person who you've been with a long time when they do something so bad that it’s just over. This October/Halloween release did that. You are supposed to make it through bounty games to get pumpkins for a new character. The new characters are devastating. They are extremely hard to beat. And harder to impossible to get. In fact, they pretty much changed the rules on what it takes to get that character and it’s harder. Which brings me to the point - they are making characters that you will never be able to beat if you did not start early and spend big money to be at the top of the pack. It’s just not worth it. Go to the forums and you’ll see the same comments from others. And thanks to those that posted there. It’s the first time I looked there and sure enough, I’m not alone on this. I’m done with King for good. I’ll stick with my Civ-like games where I pay a chunk up front for a quality game and know my investment upfront.

Typical King game. It’s nothing new, just another crappy overhyped puzzle game that they threw out with the same greedy buisness models candy crush uses. It’s all fun and everything goes great till they start hitting you with paywalls and the paywalls hit hard. There are enemies that clone themselves and there are certain levels where they won’t set you up with matches you have to waste all your turns making 1 match which isn’t enough to kill both cloners so the 1 surviver clones and then those two clone and then those four clone and you keep only having 1 match and they basically overwhelm you till your lose. And you keep loosing till you either hit the jackpot or pay them, it’s like a bully trying to beat you up till you give them your lunch money every day. The game goes from fun to stressful really quickly.

Disappointed. Like others have said in their reviews this game draws you in at the beginning making you think it’s going to be completely awesome. And then about the second or third day in depending upon how much you play you seem to hit a wall. You need to make your fighter stronger, and you can replay previous levels, but you gain the rewards from doing this. The only way to progress is to either pony up some dough or wait hours to be able to open a chest for a meager amount of resources. The energy cost to play levels continues to increase while your player level increases so slowly it gets to the point where you can only do about four attempts before you’re out of energy. Again you can keep playing if you pony up the cash. Make some adjustments like letting you be able to replay previous levels to gain some rewards. Increase the rate your energy regens. Make a couple of other good changes and I’ll come back and play and even support with a little bit of cash.

Great game, crashes a lot... !!. You need to address this problem. This is an amazing game with great challenges and strategies required to excel but the game has been crashing non stop for almost 2 weeks now. It's very annoying!! Especially when I am playing The Dungeon, the game crashes and it counts one of my two tries as if I had chosen to exit the game. All rewards and damage made lost. Really annoyed at the rate at which the game is becoming unreliable. You are nearing PokemonGo levels of unreliability. Please stop adding new characters and features and address the real problem. No one will play, much less pay, for an app that always crashes mid-battle. So annoying!!

I like the game.. The game is overall pretty enjoyable. The gameplay is easy to grasp, and it has some pretty neat creature designs. However, I do have two things I don’t like. I find it annoying that, for returning players, they have to go through the entire tutorial process before they can bind, or return to, their existing account. I would definitely like to see a change in that because the process is just too grueling. I would recommend having the option to return to an account prior to jumping into the tutorial. I also feel like the home/main page is too convoluted, as well. Most times I don’t know what I need to do, cause it seems as if everything is thrown at you. It just doesn’t seem that organized. Other than that, the game is one of the more, well-developed, matching games out there.

I don’t know, becoming frustrating. When you play in hero arena or any other level of the game, it doesn’t seem to be set up for you as the player to have a chance to win. By the time you get all the characters matches set up you have one available move left or you use up all your available moves and have to wait for the next round of moves. Whereas the computer has instant and pre set up moves available. It makes it seem impossible for you as the player to have a chance to win. I’m not saying it should be easy to just win every battle but some level of equivalencies should be there to make the game seem fun and competitive. I understand that you have to upgrade your characters but it’s becoming frustrating and not fun. Either an upgrade is needed to make matches a little easier to match the computer or a faster way to upgrade your characters is needed.

Might&Magic:Clash of Heroes Clone!. So being a clone is not necessarily a bad thing, when the game you’re cloning was fantastic but WAY too short. MMCoH was a DS cart that was ported over to mobile. An amazing game, but based on the storyline, and no real pvp. This is where this game picks it up a notch. Same 3 line matching system, but more focus on the gameplay than wading through the storyline. Therefore more chance for replay value. Now, I’m sure since some creatures are purchase-able, this will go the way of all other Clash games. But at least the strategy in this type of style is fairly “newish?” ground, so it may last a big longer before the P2P gamers ruin it. Overall, I’m digging it, and it’s worth a look. I’m really happy Kingmade it too, because that means it’ll get a lot of support. 5 Stars! 👍

Meh.. Solgard has good graphics, and they legitimately triedbti make deep gameplay with it. But ultimately, it IS a "match-3" game, and any attemptsbto give it deep gameplay run square into the issue that match-3 games are fundamentally about randomness. Yes, skill certainly has an important part to play, and the more you play the more unlocks you get to help you out, but ultimately it is "pull the lever and wish really hard". And I could put up with that, or at least for longer than I did, except the game has a very bad habit of not doing what you tell it to do. Try to put a creature into one column, and about 85% of the time the game will comply. The other 15% is a complete crapshoot. And on top of all that, the game is very politically incorrect. It assumes your gender. This "game" is not for me, but y'all have fun.

Incredibly Outrageous. If you like games that glitch you out all the time and doesn’t save your progress of the battle you were in and takes away your energy, put you in a branch of people way better than yourself, and make it soo long to get characters and level them up. For example, my dad was stuck on a level for 3 weeks because he didn’t have good enough characters. I was on a very hard level and was about to pass it and then it glitched me out of the game. Hen I came back into the game, it made me so the level again and it took away the energy I used on the match. The same thing happened with the treasure caves. Somehow, the game needs to add more ways to get characters, energy, and ability dust. There needs to be some changes in the game but other than that stuff, I like the graphics of the character. I give it a 1 star rating. Thank you for your time.

Poorly balanced. The strategy elements and game play are great, but without dropping cash, you will not go far. Everything needed to make your characters better (gems, gold, ability powder) comes only in fractions on the amounts required. Plus, the “energy” required to play each match replenishes at a rate of one every 10min, meaning an hour for a single match by the time you reach the second world (at level 41), and what’s most frustrating is that you get no bonus if you win. The energy is just gone and you have to wait around for another hour. This game is clearly designed solely for King’s entry into your wallet, while the gamer has been wholly forgotten. If you believe that “greed is good”, then kudos to the game developers at King for their blatant disregard for fair gameplay in favor of gouging the gaming community.

Gets boring when it turns to just grinding. First of all, the amount of gold you need to level up creatures is way too high and you can grind for days just to level up a skill. At the same time, leveling up a skill doesn’t really impact much if you are stuck on a difficult level so you need a long grind. As a result, it gets boring. Second, there is not enough ways to get idols. This means after evolving your creature to level 2 to acquire the additional skill, there is not much you gain beyond that. You can grind Hel arena for weeks and still can’t get one idol. I have give this game a try for a month now and see no point to the grind when you are going to be stuck on all levels. You just wait for the treasure level and hope you can beat it to get a few hundred gold whereas leveling up a skill is in the thousands.

Tons of Possibility. It’s still early, but the game has big potential. The puzzle system requires thinking, especially the bosses. My only complaint so far is the crashing. It crashes almost every 5 min or so. Other than that, it’s been a joy to play. The characters and leveling is very well done. I like the art style and look forward to future updates. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and crashing still happens every 4th or 5th level. Crashed on a treasure dungeon and counted as an attempt (you only get 2 attempts per day for free). It’s a shame, because I really like the concept, but there comes a point when it’s not worth it.

Extremely Addicting. First off, puzzle type battle games aren’t one I fancy. This got me hooked the moment i learned the basics. A few complaints though, tutorials on every new move you learn of a hero you get (you have to “try it”) there’s no option to skip. The other one is energy. 5+ mins for 1 energies and the round you’re at is 6. Makes no sense - to top up, its 50 diamond to full up 50 (the first time) then 250 diamonds then 500 diamonds. When 550 diamonds at 4.99 , it’s a bit of a money pot. I will say if you lose the round, you do keep a portion of your energy but it’s not enough. My suggestion is wait it out people if you like the game and want to keep playing. Maybe it’s for good intentions and get you off and go outside, not nonetheless.. it should cost me 5$ to play less than 10 rounds.

I’m done. I really enjoyed this game when it came out. It was solid all around and had things to do while waiting for new levels, so I played every day. Please note the past tense. They have made it worse with every update. Instead of leaving what wasn’t broken alone and just adding more levels to the campaign, they kept messing with what was good about the game until it was unrecognizable from launch. One of the worst things over the last few updates was forcing me to use rarer (read expensive and annoying to level) creatures for certain things instead of the ones I wanted to use (and would have done a better job). Then this last “update” doubled down on the elitism. This latest “update” nerfed all my best creatures into oblivion simply because most weren’t rare enough. My poor level 7 Dazzlepaw (a Common creature) went from being top cat to being a third of the strength of my level 2 Wyrm Wrangler, for pity’s sake, just because the latter is a “legendary” creature! What the actual Hell? So, yes. I’m done. One of the few games I have given any of my hard-earned money to is officially worthless, soon-to-be-deleted garbage. It’s now completely unbalanced and simply not worth my time. The only reason I gave more than one star is because it USED to be good.

Its a good game. It really is a good game, but the developers are all over the place, everyday there are weird new changes and this has been going on since day one. For example, Ive reached a level now where everything is way too difficult even though i have the best epic and legendary lineups, i cant get past most of the daily challenges like treasure hunt and bounties, which makes no sense since you need them to progress... another example is that even if u want to spend money on anything it is ridiculously expensive and even buying the most expensive packages wont really do much for ur roster. This is coming from a person thats played the game from the get go... i live it im sorry to say the developers have no idea how to make it profitable without ruining game experience... and im guessing thats why this is the second or third studio to sell the game... sad really. Oh and a good idea would be to actually ask the users or at least give them the option to give their opinion, no such feature...

Horrible play balance and level design. They made a bunch of characters that are all similar but the higher level creatures that you face make some levels I’m possible to pass unless you just get lucky. Wolfspirit thingy basically is unblockable, attacks all of your merged creatures and is immune to all creature powers, lava, player’s spell ability. Your only hope is to put enough stuff in the way to absorb the damage... which is considerable... but then when it attacks it creates a ghost wolf that runs next to it and does extra damage too. Other levels have siege engines that spawn and fire out more damage than can be blocked. They have responded to my email of noting this fact and they said yes it’s difficult... you just can’t beat it yet. Which means I have to spend money to achieve this feat. Whew, I feel better. Rant helped. Just go back to candy crush to waste some idle time. Save the frustration.

👎👎 I don’t recommend👎👎. So I already got recommended to not play the game but I want to see what it was like soooo I kind a have to download this game. And boy oh boy was it not worth my time it really takes you 1 million moons to be able to rank up a character nowadays well if you have the money anyway. I tried this game every day and night for nothing not only because the players at first give you no status. But I almost had a heart attack because I thought that I was not going to defeat the first boss on the first chapter. Looking back at this game now I’m surprised I even downloaded it literally I spent most of my time just trying to get through the first boss. But we aren’t even done the hand movements that they want you to do to get a pacific thing are kind of annoying I wish that we could get more moves because you literally are not getting nothing and you have to continue summoning more monsters until you hit two moves to just get that one character. And when I mean first boss I’m in the very very first boss and you know what that means I only been playing this game for about a couple of minutes and I can already tell that it bad.

Ground Hog Day. Played over a year but since the last revision disguised as an update the game has become nothing more than a repetitive advertisement of pay to play options. There was a lot to like about this game but sadly the thrill is gone. The fb “group” is little more than a forum where the LURKING (seriously you are constantly reminded of this) Devs look for affirmations of game love. Any attempt to be truthful is shut down with the righteousness of the Devs by the bandwagon disciples looking for scooby snacks or head pats. The changes are to entice new downloads and make money not to keep players that have been playing. If it wasn’t then the new world would have been completed prior to the rollout of the newly drawn characters or the obscene amount of opportunities to spend money. Neither of which do little more than drain your battery due to the graphics or even better... crash the game.

I want to love it but can’t. I have played this game quite a bit. I am a level 17 and have been putting off the review in case it improves but it does not. I love the style and idea which is why it’s not one star. However, they claim abilities and other things are random when they are not, and give computer advantages (especially in the “pvp” part) such as always getting combinations when two creatures are stacked while you get none and always having available combinations while you have none. I tried to deal with it but the ragingly unfair computer and “random” events are too much and I suggest not playing until it is improved to be truly random and the computers do not get the unfair advantage. Side note, the computers are always 2+ levels above your characters which is enough of an advantage, let alone their constant combinations. Thanks

Great game! But..... This game is seriously awesome! I played candy crush and the other but King deff steppes their game up! Now I wasn’t a big fan of the candy saga but enjoyed the puzzles etc. I think the game is great but I would change the energy spent if you lose. I think if you pass a level you should be able to keep your energy I mean come on I’m in the hundreds and spending like 12 energy a game with only 50 some to spend even if I pass the level also the spending on this game is a little extreme this isn’t a hate review so please don’t take it that way but drop the prices down a little and if you pass a level let the players keep the energy

Play alone or part of a guild, love this game!. I’ve been playing this game for a few years now and they have made really great changes to it. It used to be extremely difficult to upgrade your characters but now they’ve given you so many options to do so. I would advise people to focus on certain characters that they want to build up so that way they don’t spend their coin etc. needlessly. The greatest benefit by far is joining a guild. If you join a really good one that has a lot of participating members it really helps you gain a lot of upgrades. Plus the clash aspect in the guild games is awesome and you can earn a ton upgrades! They have done a really great job managing this game throughout the years.

Frustration and Entertainment Coexist. **If anyone official reads this, my app is a couple of weeks old and has started frequently opening matches with only two moves. Occasionally this happens during my turn within a match as well. Grinding is to be expected on a for profit app, so I can’t complain about that, really, but it is also v frustrating to REQUIRE WiFi to play well. Purchases, sure, but it’s annoying as get out to be out in the world, try to play during a free moment, and be prohibited from most things because of WiFi deficits. Fun game, because of the mental challenge, but it takes long hours to accomplish much...which always leads me to recall that no matter what I “accomplish” in-game it means little in real life...so the things that foul up progression too hard are likely to lead to deleting the app by month’s end.

Fun, quality game, bad pricing model. This game is very well done. It combines luck and strategy in a cute and appealing way. Beating difficult levels requires you to consider both the terrain and opposing team when choosing your own characters to play. The pacing starts out good, but it quickly becomes too difficult to improve your creatures to keep up with the increasingly difficult levels and other players. At this point I thought I would pay a bit to improve my team, but the pay model is outrageous. I could spend $50 just bumping one creature up one level. Even buying some extra energy to keep playing a bit is way overpriced. So instead of spending $5 or $10 here and there, I’m going to stop playing, and hope they improve their model. I’m all for paying for something I’ve enjoyed, but I expect to get a decent in-game return. There is plenty to do without paying, if you don’t mind doing the same daily grind over and over. But if you want to progress, eventually you’ll need to shell out some serious cash or grind for weeks with little to show for it.

Can’t connect to server. I agree with the other comments here. I’ve been playing the game since it came out and have to say it’s my favorite game in a long time! I recently did the iPhone update 12.2 I think on my XR. I don’t know if this could be the issue or not but I keep getting “Unable to connect to server” with the red WiFi symbol. I can’t play any of the games on Solgard but others work just fine. I’ve beat all levels and am waiting for the next world to be released but I could play the other games in there. Now I can’t. This is frustrating the hell out of me because I’ve spent hundreds of real cash, just buying diamonds on this game. I never buy the extras on games. If I lose my progress and everything I am going to be fuming. Someone help me figure out the server issue. For real. Thanks!

Extremely Rigged. This game was fun at first but the more you start playing, the more you start to realize how the game purposefully puts you in situations where you feel like you have to spend money to level up your characters. For example, going up against a CPU is fun sometimes. However, sometimes the CPU will get 3-4 matches in 1 turn but when it’s my turn, I’d be lucky to get at least 1 match. Also if your team power is 4000 for example, the game will make you fight teams that have a power of 5600 more often than teams that are at the same level as you. I understand if the game is trying to make it “tougher” but having a 4000 power team go up against a 5600 power team is an inevitable loss, especially when you factor in the matching issue that I brought up in the beginning of the paragraph. I still play this game every now and then but it’s really frustrating at this point.

Awesome Game | Bad info. A preface this game is surprisingly fun and addictive but it could use a touch of authentic Norse Mythology. For starters there are nine worlds 1 Midgard the home of humans 2 Asgard the home of the Aesir (war deities) 3 Vanaheim the home of the vanir (nature deities) 4 Nedivelir the home of dwarfes 5 Alfheim the home of alfes 6 jotunheim the home of earth/mountain giants 7 nifilheim the realm of ice and mist, home to ice gaints 8 muspellheim the realm of fire, home to fire giants 9 hellheim kingdom of hel, home to the dishonored dead Ratatosk was a fear inspiring enemy of the gods, he lives in the branches of Yggdrasil the world tree. He carried insults that deteriorated the sanity of mortals, he spread rumors to nidhogg the dragon who dwells at the bottom of the world tree at tries to tear its roots and the eagle at the top that tries to scatter branches at the top. His goal is to try to destroy the world tree and in the process all of the nine worlds. Also, all threats do not come from nifilheim. Not all ice giants are enemies some have intermarried with the aesir and the vanir. Mostly they came from muspellheim. The fire giants all bow down to Surtur the king of giants, when Ragnarok comes he will burn all the worlds and engulf them with the eternal flame. Overall a good download 🤗

Great Gameplay, but as Leveling Up Makes the Game Less Enjoyable. This is a great casual game with a wonderful interface and variety. I was really enjoying the game, but as my character leveled up I had to do more and more daily challenges to earn the daily reward. By the time I got to level 9, it was taking close to 25 minutes just to get the daily challenge reward. Seeing that there were only more challenges as my character leveled up, adding more time necessary to get the daily reward, it stopped being fun and became a chore that I’m the end made me stop playing. If you’re not the type of person who cares a lot for the daily reward thing, go for it, but if you like to level up fighters and complete all challenges, this one just takes too much time.

Too many crashes. I honestly really enjoy this game... when it works. It’s not really pay to win, it’s a super fun take on a match 3 game, it’s got plenty of modes(though the non campaign modes should give you more plays a day). But this game crashes a lot. And it doesn’t even refund my plays if it crashes in the middle of a game. I have an iPhone 6, not the newest hardware, but I don’t have this problem with other apps. I know it’s a very intense app, but it needs some optimizing for older hardware. Please work on stabilizing this app!

Great initially. This is a very fun game that really draws you in at the start. At first it seems like there is good progression. And it is true that there are enough game modes that you can “grind” and level up your character. But alas it will happen - the inevitable paywall. Unfortunately it comes in a pretty frustrating way as things seem to go good until your turns no longer can come up with matches in any way shape or form as the computer. Yes I get it’s a game of chance but something gets really fishy when you can have the exact same characters as the computer (on arena mode for example) and somehow every turn they get matches on ALL their moves and you PERHAPS get one. It happens very consistently almost to the point that you have no choice but to spend to level up your characters or to unlock new ones to stand a chance. Even if the computer got matches half the time it would be more balanced but they seriously get the best random placement 90% of the time. There’s no way I should get obliterated over and over using the same characters at the same level as the computer. And the campaign eventually uses so much energy even if you win you can only play around 5 matches or so before having to wait for the extremely slow energy refill system. So again to play you’ll have to pay. I really really liked this game and the numerous game mode options made me feel like I could patiently grind day by day but the playing field has officially become way to unbalanced.

Amazing, but unrealistic energy refill time. This game is absolutely amazing. From the look and feel, to the story, to the unique gameplay and twists, everything about this game is astounding. Each creature has their own abilities, and strategy really comes in to play, since creating certain combinations at certain times can have completely different results. My only complaint is the energy refill time. It takes 10 minutes to get 1 measly energy, and the energy required for battles is around 6. That’s 1 hour for just one battle. And it probably increases as you progress through the levels. It’s just not realistic to make the wait time for just one energy 10 minutes, in a game where you need a decent amount of energy to do a battle. At least the max capacity is decent, but PLEASE consider decreasing the energy refill time, even if it’s only by a little. Overall, amazing game, can’t wait for more levels!

Awesome BUT..... The game is very addictive. I love how King went about making this a puzzle RPG and the storyline is interesting. BUT there are some things they need to work on. Like leveling up the character just a tiny bit faster. I mean I’m already on level 22 but my characters level is 4. The bosses are getting harder and more skilled, while I’m stuck on the same stats and health. Also I would love if my creatures had a little more mobility. The way you could move a creature is if it’s the very last one in a row or if you remove them. That is very challenging (I guess that why you did huh lol.) other than those two aspects the game is AMAZING to me and it’s one of my favorite puzzle RPGs.

Extremely buggy w/ long load screens. I gave this 2 stars for the creativity and overall concept but this game has A LOT of problems right off the start. 1) The load screens are life wastingly long. That goes for the initial start-up and the load screens in between games. 2) The game itself is EXTREMELY buggy and just overall rough graphics. 3) The tutorial is again life wastingly long and tedious in the beginning levels of the game. So much so that it makes hesitant to continue playing the game at all. 4) The game crashes every time you try to go to the next level.....EVERY....Time. I would think that since this is a King product that they would have put more effort into testing the product before putting it out put hey they gotta try and find their next cash cow somehow......this is not it, unless some SERIOUS work is done to overhaul it. Also shame on Chief Pat for promoting such a horribly thrown together product.

Discrimination in terms of gold given. The app does AB testing on its players. One group of players gets more gold than the second group, which makes pvp battles extremely unfair.

I don’t like this game. I just don’t like it, it felt very rushed to get through the first level, which was extremely easy and then the second level is impossible to pass. The distribution on the board seems ridiculous and the ability to level up the “fighters” seems impossible.

Game itself is great. As the title says the game itself is quite good, however atm it constantly crashes during loading screens. For a simple matching game that’s unacceptable hence the loss of 2 stars. Fix that and depending on summon variety (still too early to say), you could very well have a possible 5 star game. P.S: In regards to variety the game play is quite simple. So a lack in true variety will lead to the game turning stale very quickly. Hope that helps

Great game but constantly crashes. Game constantly crashes on load screen and after most levels otherwise great game

Pixel junky. Not bad, it’s cute, quite fun and has nice music. The game play is a bit repetitive but it’s still quite fun.

My review was deleted because it was negative?. This is a pay to win piece of junk. You need to spend money to get anywhere, and it’s setup so even the challenges can’t be won without coin. Screen is cluttered and ugly. Gameplay itself is boring and nothing new. Save your time and money and avoid. Second attempt posting negative review...

SJ. Great game. Crashes a little though.

Application keeps crashing. I can’t even get past the tutorial because of this, please fix.

Crashes and bugs. I really enjoy this game but it is still buggy and crashes all the time often just before I win a level or when I start. Very frustrating as you loose play energy and prizes. I would be happy to sacrifice visuals for stable gameplay. If it’s graphics are not compatible with older model phones eg. 6s iphone or below then don’t offer it to those people. Or put a warning on the App Store.

Pay to win. The game is rigged and you need to buy chests to get stronger characters to win. This is a miss. I wouldn’t install this even if they paid me. Just a waste of time and the developers only care about making money from micro transactions. Maybe learn to make the game more fair and give us stronger toons to play with rather than putting us with weak toons against strong bosses. There is no challenge or strategy in this game there is only pay to win. The more chests you buy the more you can upgrade your hero and easier you can kill bosses. This game is one big scam. I would rate it 0/5. Go scam some old ladies and kids. You ain’t getting my hard earned income. You’re only getting a negative review :) next time learn to make fair games you selfish greedy dogs.

Pay to play. The game is pretty good in terms of concept. I can see how buying chests to make money is a business model, however I do not understand why a developer would incorporate a mechanic that limits the amount a costumer can play. Wont be playing anymore.

Newest patch has killed my client. Been a longtime player, unfortunately the blöt festivals have essentially made the game unplayable for me. Not due to iOS issues or hardware issues, but inability to authenticate regardless. I patched my game and found the dreaded “game out of date” even though the App Store registered it as UTD. Tried deleting the app, and now cannot repurchase the game through the App Store. RIP. I will say it is a fun game, and while there’s definitely pay to win components and gacha level gambling... it was fun.

Fix it and you’ll get 5. This is an awsome game and does deserve a 5 star rating but i can only give it 3 stars due to the fact of it constantly crashing after mabey 1 or 2 matches which instantly becomes incredibly annoying so fix your game guys and ill happily give the 5 stars it deserves

Great game so far!. Tutorials are good, love the graphics hopefully it stays this way lol

Least pay to win game out there. As the title suggests unless you have zero patience. Progresses nicely but still challenging. Good value even from the micro transactions ($15 for a 60 day event we’ll worth it) but not essential. No ads either.

Long time player. I have been playing this game for a very long time, and dont get me wrong, i do enjoy the game, hence the longevity of play. My issue is as time has gone on and new updates have come about, it is getting far harder to advance as it is becoming a buy to play game, and the cost of purchases are rediculous. I dont mind playing and taking longer to advance than those that do spend obseme amounts of money to play, but getting coin or diamonds through standard play in the game becomes harder with each and every update, and obtaining better charactors/creatures is now almost unobtainable. Feels as though developers are getting too greedy, and is killing the game.

Good but crashes. Good game, seems pretty enjoyable with fair bit of depth and variety of play, as well as nice graphics, however the crashes are getting a bit much. with the time to load the game and each level, crashes take a large chunk of time out. As well as possibly losing time limited tries for alternate game modes as I have had a couple of times. Fix the bugs and I would expect a ***** from me

Unplayable due to crashing. This is an excellent game fun balanced but lately it's been constantly crashing on me and I've been unable to play. This is especially annoying on things with timeouts as the game will crash and use up your chance and you'll have to wait to try again.

Have to spend. Need to spend money to play continuously.

Drop out. Having a problem with the game dropping out Could you please give any idea why

Love it. Everything I want in a game! So awesome it is a thinker and strategy is great well done! Big thumbs up from Australia😎 my game of the year 👍

bug causes unavoidable crashing. great game, I love the unique game mechanisms, but a bug means I can't play the game. just got a common core so I can now craft an idol. as soon as I open the game, the "tutorial" directs me to the idol page and makes me tap in a weird place, and then crashes after - no way to avoid it. tried restarting, uninstalling / reinstalling, etc

Macro micro transactions. Good game. Decent strategy and idle fun but are you freaking kidding with the micro transactions? They are supposed to be micro not $150+ for packages. This game is in no way worth that kind of money. I’m happy to pay some money to support games like this as effort and time deserve reward and I would give $7 every now and then for some progress gain but you are asking for crazy amounts that would only be paid by people with addiction issues. Keep up the development and delivering a good game, kudos for that but have a quick look in the mirror guys.

$$$$$ to win. There is very little strategy to this game, relying almost exclusively on the strength of your characters to win, and as such you will hit a pay wall pretty early on. If you do not mind spending money to unlock chests, you may get something out of this game though.

Love the game but... Love the game but bought a chest in the event for new character and nothing happened but it took the tokens. Similar thing happened last event.. need to fix glitches

Fun and challenging, but.... Crashing far too many times Need to stabilise the game Loving it Love the daily challenges Well done

Ggrreeeaatt. The game is great every thing is in order levels are all ways fun and it’s not a pay to win game

New Update Doesn’t Load. Updated 22 March 2022 - game now loads to 50% then crashes (iPhone 13, latest iOS). Great game other than the dodgy update.

Crashy. Simple one-more-level gameplay, but as other reviewers have said, lacks a bit of variety, has quite long loading breaks, and crashes frequently.

Extremely Unfriendly for Returning User. For returning users or those who switched their devices and reinstall this app, we have to go through all the tutorials which is really time wasting and boring. You may simply avoid this by allowing login first then start tutorial when the player is new.

Keep crashing!. Love the game but keeps on crashing. It’s understandable cus it’s new. Please fix the bug soon. Thanks. Keep up the good work guys. ;)

Good but crashes a lot. Good but crashes a lot

Another pay to win piece of shhh. The game is great but you have gotta buy lot of chests in order to either win campaign or pvp. Gold is hard to find and again....you will end up spending lots of money to buy em. You can choose not to spend any money but it will take you forever to get thru. PVP mode is just TRASH, stupid unfair gameplay ever. You will be given monsters that you will never win because it is already systemised. It doesnt require skills to play because in PVP you will be forced to lose. If you dont believe me...try it yourself. Worth to try coz the game is free.

Fun game but.... Enjoyable gameplay. Fun creature graphics. A variety of play modes so it doesn’t matter quite as much that energy takes so long to refill. I can see how paying would make things easier but I haven’t found it necessary so far. Unfortunately there’s a huge amount of waiting - loading screens for every play, waiting for the other side to finish a turn, etc. - needs to be cleaned up a bit in that respect. It’s also too easy to move creatures to the wrong place or tap the wrong thing accidentally, which is frustrating when the game gives such limited lives.

Lots of fun. A little different and more complex

Great game but ... This game is definitely fun to play with just a couple of issues. Unfortunately the game crashes at the loading screen after every 3rd or 4th battle. And finer control is needed over placement of minions, regularly moving to the wrong position or double tapping the minion beside/behind the one I wanted and without an undo button it gets a bit frustrating.

A great first impression!. So far this game has been nothing but amazing. I have only played for a day or two but it’s great, polished and fluid. Would recommend

no money no game. I hate this type of games that no matter how hard you try,it just wouldn't allow you to win unless you pay for more coins to level up your cards. Waste of time

Continual crashes.. While the game would regularly crash on me..I was enjoying the gameplay when it worked. Since the update two days ago, the game now constantly crashes within seconds of opening. It is now unplayable.

Meh. I deleted it after 24 hours. Each level takes ages to load. Each game doesn’t go very long and it doesn’t seem very challenging.

Crashing so much. I don't understand why there has to be MORE animations which slows the app and makes it crash every 5 seconds. I haven't played the game in months because it kept crashing and thought I'd give it another try but now it seems to crash just by going onto the creatures page. I really enjoy the game...when it works.

Brings back memories. I remember the first time I played Might and Magic on the DS and I really enjoyed it, so seeing a mobile version of it here made me really happy. Although gameplay isn’t exactly the same, like using core units to make 2x2 units, where in M&M you had elite and champion units 2x1 and 2x2 respectively, but the game mechanic were still smooth. Seeing a levelling system for your units made me a bit worried since having higher level units would allow you to complete harder challenges, but I’ve managed to reach world 2 in a day and the game seems to pace your progress world well with it’s generous guaranteed rewards after each level. All in all, an enjoyable blast to the past!

Great gameplay. Game has awesome gameplay, and is very hard to put down, but the energy is so slow to refill! When one level costs 10 energy to play, it really takes a long time to refill your energy. And energy refills aren’t cheap 😑 I do enjoy the game, just disappointing to have to wait so long, specially when stuck on a level.

Crashes after most levels. It’s a fun game, but the app crashes after playing nearly each level which is very frustrating.

Awesomeness app. Every single time I play this app I instantly feel the love and I can’t thank the god I love you and I will never stop loving you

My favourite puzzle game by far!. This game is great! It has a variety of challenges using a mixture of creatures, skills and levels thus I have never felt frustrated trying to beat the people who have spent the most money, have played the longest or have the biggest creature. Highly enjoyable building and wielding your army as you see fit but I have been stuck on campaigns sometimes as I don’t spend anything to level up faster.

Good game slow load crashes. I like this game but the loading time is ridiculous and it typically crashes just when you’re about to complete daily tasks for reward- then you’re frozen out unless you pay. I’m suspicious this is intentional bugging

Watch your battery life. Really good game but it’s a huge battery drain unfortunately. It also seems to crash after every few levels which means it has to be loaded multiple times, draining more battery.

Constantly crashes. Press settings, crash Play a match, crash Click on you collection, crash Not acceptable has this even been tested on the iPad Air at all?

Contractjacks a tool. The game is balanced well enough that you don’t have to pay to play. There will be sections you can’t pass till you level up but they’ve introduced better rewards so it’s won’t take as long but seriously if your free to play then learn some micro amount of patients. My only request would be better chests you can buy, especially with some actual gold in them. 1000gems buys 10,000 gold and yet 1000 gem chests have 1000 gold as all in cards. Most other games would give 5,000 at least if not the full 10,000 hence making the chest super worth it, especially for those of us who work our butts off to make the $15 or $30 bucks to purchase. Thanks for an awesome game guys !!!

Crash all the time after update. Test your code before release

Crash city. Fun game, but keeps crashing randomly... frustrating when in fight...

😡crashes after crashes. Sorry guys, unplayable....

Used to be good. I’ve been playing for a few months and there was enough variety to keep me interested. The issue with this latest upgrade is that the graphics have become terrible and I can’t play for any length of time.

Communication. À quand une mise à jour pour un tchat personnel pour discuter avec un membre en privé? Et surtout un tchat mondial pour recruter des personnes? Ça manque cruellement!

Typical cash grab. This game is great at first, hooks you then good luck getting anywhere or anything without spending money. Chests with chances at legendary tokens, HA ! Not likely.

Crashes all the time. I really enjoy the game, but it's getting downright impossible to play. I expected the crashing when it first came out a year ago, but it's only gotten worse. It takes a long time to load the game, and it crashes within 30 seconds of opening the app 50% of the time. The latest level I've been working on for over a week now has recently started having game clock issues. The animations are happening at least double the speed of normal. I'd like to give a good review, but I can't do that until you all make the game playable.

Latest update destroyed this game. This game crashed every 10 minutes in earlier versions. This was bad. This version crashes every 30 seconds. It’s basically unplayable.

Cool game but.... Fairly fun game, but crashes constantly.

Crashes .... Game is crashing every 5 minutes...

Great Game. I have been playing for over a year. Religiously every day. Guild challenges are fun. Daily challenges are fun. Best part is that they never stop trying to evolve the game without losing its original appeal. And now, world 5!

Review. Nice game thx

Keeps wanting to update!. Ok guys what’s going on here? I’m running an iPhone X. Just updated and now it won’t let me play it just keeps asking for an update!! Also, make it so we can tell our guilds when something like this happens so we don’t get booted!!!!

NOT WORKING. App stopped working after December update. Do not download.

Great game... disappointing update. I’ve been playing for a while now and really enjoy the game. The latest update seems to complicate play and is pretty confusing. Only bonus is that it was easier to accumulate coins and powder but even then I enjoyed the other format way better. May have to delete game if not improved :(

Glitch. It kicks me out every time I go to the shop.

Unplayable. Constantly crashes. Might get a chance to play a level but will constantly crash at the menus

Interesting. It’s an interesting twist on the Mach 3 genre Please fix the crashing issue when I enter the creatures page.

Game is unplayable. I used to enjoy this game, but the recent “updates” have made it completely unplayable. Anything you do crashes the game.

Good game. some glitches. great game, but sometimes people get a soft lock glitch in the tutorial level before you even see a menu that prevents them from joining, and it seems like if they get it once then they will not be able to proceed ever. unacceptable for a game that benefits so much from having active guild members.

New update ruins the game. Devs have taken a hammer to this game. Removing one of the most fun aspects of the game and a great way for new players to level up (treasure caves), and adding in a new currency in its place to add insult to injury. Sad to see another game drop any interest in player experience, in favour of trying to squeeze more cash out of players.

Crashes. Love the game but continues to crash

Update??. This is a really great game, but after yesterday’s update, it won’t even open. Please fix!

Good and entertaining. Good gameplay, fun and simple. It reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic. I will see how it goes and if the energy system isn’t too limiting my ability to progress. Good job devs!

Crashed. Game developers, please return me back all the energy I wasted with your game crashing every 3 rounds I play. It steals my attempts, and I have been stumped like this so many times! It's extremely frustrating. Thé game in itself is a cash grab to begin with. I feel like the crash might be there on purpose just so I spend more energy.

Terrible game. Way overpriced in game buys and definite pay to win, hell even to compete. Limited content for a game that been around so long. Good concept ruined by developer greed as per usual with these games.

Crashes!. My game crashes every 3-5 mins or if i click on a tab to quick it crashes also. Seems like a decent game but cant even get past lvl 8 before it crashes. Idk if its my side but no other games crash as much as this one

Total crach. It crach all the time since the update

Good game but.... Every update seems to make the game more expensive to play. Will be hard for new players to level up without spending real money. Would be nice to see more levels added to the campaign rather than bringing in new characters and making the level ups cost such a ridiculous amount of coins.

Major Crashing Issues. App started out crashing every once in a while, sometimes forcing me to quit a mission halfway through. However now the game crashes every 5 minutes, making it completely impossible to play a single level.

Games crashing. Game keeps crashing since the last upgrade.

Cool game campaign to short. Cool game but the campaign is way to short. Only 4 chapters, in north myth there are 9 realms. Anyways more content would be great.

Fun but major crashing. Fun game, easy to pick up. A little Grundy but it’s a free mobile game. But there are major crashes that just eat up at play tokens and doesn’t save the level

Blown away. Bes game

Crash. Well, I played this religiously since day one, but now the newest update has made it so my iPad crashes every time I attempt to battle. Way to lose your audience.

Horrible update. I used to love this game, but after their recent updates they’ve ruined it! They’ve made it unnecessarily complicated and it’s clearly just a money grab. Please change it back!

Less Grindy then most FTP. Great execution. The pay wall is not obvious and you can play for a long time without getting frustrated. I’m level 32 and I have not bought any premium currency. Been playing for over a year.

Incapable de jouer. Le jeu n’arrête pas de fermer depuis la mise à jour. C’est TRÈS énervant. Conseil attendre que le jeu ait une mise à jour.

Fff. It starts bad gets better

Constant crashes. The crashes were bareable but after the update almost every battle crashes out. The game is unplayable in its current form.

New update. I just get a colorful screen where’s the game. I really like this game playing for a while but suddenly game doesn’t load. I even deleted and reinstalled.. please fix

Crash at opening after update. Crash at opening after update

Uh.... This game is super fun! Haven’t played a game that kept me from watching Netflix when I travel in a long time.

Supercallifragilistic game BUT crashes!. Awesome premise and finally North American GUI. Needs much improvement on its stability as it crashes way too often. The flow is fun when it’s stable!

Mimir’s Well doesn’t work. It refreshes each night but during the day you can’t use it. Seems like a server issue but it’s extremely aggravating

Don’t bother playing after level 75.. Waste of time when the bosses have way more than than you do and can move around. End up dying 10 times before I can move on and it is frustrating. If you make groups on the wrong side you lose. It is based on luck and chance that the order of your characters will let you win.

Freezes most of the time. Great game but lots of glitches and game freezes/crashes daily require restart and lose a chance of doing quests

Crashes on every attempt. Cant play since the latest update since the game crashes with every battle attempt.

Game is stacked against you. The game is fun up to point, but the more I play this game, I’m realizing the Hero Arena vs. competition is not random. The computer generated opponent consistently generates creatures while your draw is mediocre. You’re forced to spend crystals to swap opponents to match power levels. And when you’re evenly matched in power level and lose 5 to 10 in a row (sometimes on first turn), it’s outrageous. The goal is to keep you spending to get crystals and improve your odds, but it likely won’t work unless you’re spending big bucks to improve your team. Just play for fun and don’t expect too much I guess.

Could be 5 stars.... I love to lose myself in a good puzzle game, and this could be that game. It’s got all the elements that I look for: great story, deep strategy, great challenge balance. The only thing stopping me is the refresh rate of game modes and energy replenishment. The campaign mode requires energy for each stage, with the requirement ramping up quickly. By the third world, you’re spending 10 energy to start a stage. With 45 energy by the time you get there, you get 4 plays. The energy refresh rate is painful. Maybe kill some time while it replenishes by trying the other game modes? Sure, but you’ll get 1-2 attempts before you have to wait 24 hours to play these modes again. I’d be willing to drop some money here and there for gems, but the gem cost to refresh your energy isn’t worth the investment. After a little balancing, this game will be excellent.

Great game until you hit the P2P wall. Amazing game and lots of fun, until you start needing the epic tire creatures. 3 sunstones per battle? You’ll never get the 100 needed to level up the creatures. Progress in the other parts of the game becomes worse and worse, leaving you unable to gain the prizes needed to continue to grow. And what money you do spend gives you very very little benefit. Difficulty scales three times faster than your strength and you louse the ability to progress if you’re not strong enough. Yes, I’m sure you can grind for years to catch up but why bother playing at that point?

Fun yes. Flexible interface... not so much.. I am writing this review based on my experience playing the game on my iOS device and trying to let my son enjoy building his own team as well. The game is challenging and fun, however if I wanted to change from my profile to my son’s, I have to sign into his own game account, delete the app from my device, reinstall the app, and play through a few intro levels every time. Gets quite tedious. I wish there were a quicker way to change from one profile to another on iOS devices.

Becomes a real grind. Along about level 70 the enemies far out class your own troops. Strategic planning only go so far. Now I can only do side quests that are a limited number per day. Sure I could buy the tokens to get my characters stronger but that’s just the money grab part of this game. Will probably play a bit longer and delete due to unable to progress unless I drop a lot of time or $$.

Game is great... but. Game play 5 stars for sure! Amazing idea, so much fun. Where the game falls completely flat is the insane amount of time it takes to regenerate energy, the measly amount of gold/items you get from battles, incredibly slow leveling up system, and the obvious greed of the developers when looking to spend real money in the shop. I’ve played similar games (Heroes) to this on my Xbox and I can honestly say it would be CHEAPER and more fun to buy an Xbox with a similar game, than to spend the psychotic amount of time and money the developers are asking to enjoy playing Solgard for any length of time. I have no problem paying real money to enjoy a game but I would have to fork out $100s of dollars just to get even remotely anywhere in this game.

Good game, needs polishing. I’ll be honest, I spent on this game and got a starter pack. That being said I enjoyed myself up to the point where it became painfully obvious (on a level with rotating 7 power dragons who beat me about 20 times) that without spending money to earn better heroes, I was going nowhere. I don’t and won’t endure games where dumb luck becomes the only way to win. Candy crush and some others were deleted similarly. Figure out how to create a game without being greedy, or making parts overly hard requiring purchases to proceed, and make it about skill. If and when that happens, I’ll come back.

Great fun. I don’t usually write reviews for games on the App Store because frankly most of them are not very satisfactory but this game has exceeded my expectations. I find the gameplay extremely relaxing and great fun. The story is pretty much fun if the mill but the graphics are really beautiful and the gameplay is both fun and original. I am not saying there aren’t others like it but if there are I haven’t played them yet. I haven’t played anything like it and I’m really surprised it came from King. I highly recommend people try it and see if it’s a game for you.

Fun, but pay to win. Update: The entire game changed. It’s nothing like it used to be, and KING isn’t updating anything. Nothing to do. Completely boring. Fix it! Great game design and concept, but you’ll eventually hit an impossible wall that you can’t get around unless you pay up! For me, that is level 70 against a boss that’s too powerful to beat with the characters that are unlocked at the time. You can’t progress enough to beat it, so you’re stuck logging in, doing a few tasks, and quitting. Your main character can’t become strong enough to beat it, so it’s basically pointless at this point unless you drop a bunch of money. If you’re expecting a Candy Crush like experience, where you spend some time each day, progressing through increasingly difficult levels, and eventually experiencing fulfilling wins.....don’t play this game. It’s 100% pay to win, impossible wall.

Love it but needs tuning. At first I was like “clever match game with a Norse theme? I’m in!” And it was a lot of fun, I even dropped $10US on the Valkyrie pack and diamond sub. But then I unlocked Bounties and it added bounties to the dailies quests. Except I can’t DO any bounties because only one kind is unlocked at any given time and it’s apparently Epic only and as a new player I of course don’t have enough Epic or Rare creatures to take it on... so I can’t complete that daily even though I have been putting in time every day to try and unlock more creatures. Doomed by random loot. Ideally bounties should either not be part of the dailies or you should be able to access at least the newbie tier 24/7.

Crashes consistently. With the new updates, the game is crashing on a consistent basis. In this game, you have a limited amount of turns for certain things (for instance you can only attack a boss twice for the guild). The game will crash while attacking the boss, you lose your turn, thus losing your guilds ability to progress). It’s very frustrating. I’ve been playing for over a year, and these unresolved issues are turning me away from this game. It’s a fun game, but I may just look for a similar game that can function better with my iPhone X plus. I know it can take a while to figure out what’s wrong with the game, and I’m sure the company is working to fix the bugs. However it’s been going on for a month and I’m losing interest at this point.

Quickly Becomes Unplayable. The concept of this game is fun, because the game they ripped all of this off is fun. But this game has serious issues. First off, the game becomes near impossible in difficulty around 30 levels in. And since there is no way to grind exp, you’re pretty much stuck unless you spend some serious cash. Second issue, the game gets repetitive fast. This would normally be ok since the game is fun but there are next to no customization options. Everything is locked behind a pay wall. Third, there are extra events that keep the game fresh, like the treasure caves, but are locked until you reach higher levels. This is a bad design since there is no way to grind for exp. So everything is essentially tied to story progression. So if you’re stuck...games over. This is a mediocre game at best that offered about 45 minutes of entertainment before I hit a giant difficulty spike. PASS ON THIS GAME

Great Game. This game has been intriguing for me. Granted, it takes some time to get used to the mechanics, but overall it’s definitely a game worth playing. There’s one thing though. In the end, when you complete a round, when you do the attack spree, when your character makes the final exclamation (I’m not gonna try and spell it) sometimes he/she does it too early. Maybe adjust so that he/she’ll do that when the spree is done.

Fun but infuriatingly buggy. I REALLY enjoy the game, but if I’m taking a while on a level, particularly an “event” level, the app sometimes quits. The game stays open in the background but when I go back to the game, it completely restarts and I’ve lost my attempt and didn’t get any rewards and it’s infuriating. I get why the game can’t let you exit a level by force quit and not lose cause that would be an exploit but when I’ve been strategically playing the rainbow for ten minutes and I’m forced out and don’t get my gems it’s maddening.

More than just the campaign. This is a great game with lots of polish and thought out into it. Kudos to the dev team! One thing that took me a while to realize is that the most fun parts of the game exist outside the campaign. Guilds, raids and the hero arena round out the play experience so much, and at higher levels you find yourself switching between game modes constantly in order to earn gold, exp or dust and molds. For anyone who’s been playing the main game, but hasn’t tried the other play modes, do yourself a favor and jump in!

Quite fun... however.. I’ve been playing for longer than I had anticipated. At first it seems like a long grind. But before I knew it I had collected a nice group of playable creatures. The variety is wide an well thought out. And the game offers a welcome challenge which I think too few games offers these days. I just wish that the game didn’t require SOOO much of my battery life. After installing this game it’s as if my phone’s battery has a meet fraction of the energy it had just a day before. I think it’s time to say goodbye to Solgard.

Enjoyable at the beginning. I've got to admit i was hooked on this game in the beginning, but as i have progressed I've noticed a couple of problems. First of all, the energy replenishes so slowly, with one energy for every 10 minutes, and as you get farther in the game, you'll need more energy to play each level. Second is that the levels get increasingly impossible to play. Some levels I could finish in one try while others would take me days. The npcs are way too op, making the game frustrating and clearing the level impossible. So in conclusion, the developers just want your money.

Fun to play. It’s simple and yet challenging difficult . Stamina recovery time isn’t bad usually recovers in a couple of hours. Also it’s nice that you get free chest every 4 hours to collect sun gems for your creatures. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 star is because it like to kick you out of the game every 5-10 minutes or when you go to switch events gets to be annoying at times but once they fix this it will be 5 star all the way so give it a try

Surprise surprise.... I’m all for in app purchases for those that want to spend it, but this game just like every other money grabber out there gets ridiculous in later progression. The fact you eventually have to spend 12 life (when it starts at 3) to play one lvl is absurd. Especially when they only bump the life you can hold to 47 by lvl 70-75. To add to that, instead of getting 1/2 the life back when you fail a lvl, you now only get 4 life when spending 12. The game and bosses get hard enough when you start getting up there. The developers really don’t need to squeeze more life out of us to make a few more bucks. So disappointed.

Deleted and lost progress accidentally. I literally started playing 2 hours ago and almost hit world 2 - had to uninstall and reinstall and didn’t know I needed to link to my account and I lost my progress - I had also paid $20 dollars for the Valkyrie package, the 30 day gem package that gives me 1980 diamonds and a legendary chest . Is there any way to get this account back ? I can show proof through statements that I was charged by the company for the packages. I would either like my account or at least get my money reimbursed in some kind of way. Or at least apply it to the new account I was forced to make ... please let me know

Shady practices. This is the cliche mobile game. Starts off with amazing fast paced progression only to grind to a halt hoping to grab a few hundred bucks from you. I don’t mind the odd dollar here and there, but it shouldn’t feel essential. My biggest issue is my dollar spent could be worth more than your dollar spent. For the same price, one person might be offered 60,000g while another is offered 100,000g. They’ve decided to divide the player base into a high gold and a low gold group. Not a great social experiment. They value the individual gems to level up your characters far too much and it’s not cheap to level. The ui is sort of deceiving in that you need 3x the amount listed because you have to fill each gem slot, then pay gold. You can’t hunt for specific gems to level up what you want until level 10 and experience is slow going. It takes a while. I’m at 9 after about 2.5 weeks of doing all of the dailies. The gameplay is engaging and incredibly fun, but the implemented systems behind it are cash grabs and frustration boxes.

Dropping from 5 stars. I spent some money and really enjoy the game, but the crashes are becoming unbearable and I’ll probably quit this game soon. At first it would close after a level and I would just have to wait for reboot. Now it’s crashing mid battle and the battles are becoming expensive and challenging. The load screens are already slow, so adding crashes to long loads is a problem. No more money from me and hopefully I play long enough to see it patched.

5/29 Update Killed the Enjoyment. The change of the treasure caves and bounty system to a rarity segregated event has killed this game. Instead of progression being enjoyable with your preferred team evolving based upon the gems you happen to get, is now a roped off hell scape of hoops to jump through and lock outs that appear just before you complete your objective for the day. So you can either pay real money ($€£¥) to continue or are forced to come back in 6 hours. For those of you who are just picking this up, you probably won't notice. As someone who has played for a long time, this update is the worst cash grab I have seen in a while. #ActivisionNonsense

Like even though I can’t really explain it.. I’m not sure what I’m doing but I’m enjoying the game. It’s early days for me and the game I’m not sure if I’ve even lost a fight. I imagine the point to the game will start to reveal itself and I believe i know where it’s going and think as it becomes more difficult it will be a game that will be great for repeated play. Not totally sure this is a review as I only have a vague understanding of the game’s purpose but though I can’t explain why I am having fun.

Fun but Far From perFect. The game is pretty entertaining and fun, but there are a couple of huge problems with it; First of all the devs have compensated for their inability to create a challenging AI buy the use of rigged RNG. You could meet a final boss of some gang and they would do the most stupid moves and ignore the extremely obvious good choices, yet they would almost get a match every time they refill their board and win only by the amazing RNG that their board refills are. The other problem, Unbalanced and greedy loot system and cooldowns. This game is waaay too greedy. You could farm for hours and you won’t make enough money or get enough pieces to do the most basic upgrades. You would do a treasure hunt for something less than 200 coins and the game will ask you to pay 150 gems to reset the hours cooldown. Overall, I'm still casually enjoying the game and am looking forward to see more improvements in the future.

Fun to start, then P2W. Good game starting out, as you get further into it, it quickly degrades into a pay to proceed type game. Progress slows down, your really forced to either go at a snails pace or pay up. Game gets downright impossible in 4th area. It’s also available on PC, and the game was out for a bit longer for them so iOS users are at a severe disadvantage. The AI gets wicked difficult and seems to cheat a bit, all forcing you to either get used to losing or P2W. It’s not all bad as even if the campaign is stalled from extreme difficulty, there are other events to make some money. So if you give it a few months you may be able to get halfway through the 4th area, but probably not.

The game is fun, but only if you spend a lot of money. I really like the game, but it is so easy to fat-finger and make a move that was not intended. I lost many many matches because of this. It’s frustrating that you can’t recall your last move. Also, I know the purpose of the game is the make money for those who created it, but if you make it more affordable to play, much more people would play. No one wants to play a game where your competitiveness is mainly dictated by the amount of money you spend.

Please rebalance a few things. I love this game but the story mode at the end of and after Midgard is horribly unbalanced, I do all the daily stuff and my troops and still only half as strong and the health of the main character is so low I find myself losing after only taking 2 hits. If it helps the enemies that are the most unbalanced are the ice minions that start at a power of 8! (My strongest the green warrior combined is only 4) and the ice witch lady that starts low but doubles every turn up to 24! Which is almost my max health. I really like this game please fix the balancing a bit so I don’t have to find another game

Good, not great. Solid game idea, but poor execution. What starts as puzzle based combat turns into hitting the Auto button and watching combat. Not fun. There’s a Bounty system that requires 3 captures to complete, but you only get two tries per day and have to pay for the third attempt (or more if you lose any). Then it resets the next day, so you lose your progress. Stupid. There’s a daily chest you can earn by completing all the daily quests, one of which is the Bounties stated earlier. They have timers that last for more than 24 hours, meaning you can’t complete them (and thus the daily chest) each day. Doesn’t exactly qualify as “daily”, now does does it? Moronic. Lastly, the devs must have visual dyslexia, as some of your troops face the enemy while others face you. Retarded. Can’t wait for someone to clone this game with the logical fixes. Good fun for a few weeks maybe, or if you’re willing to spend money.

Developers are you there??. I’ve read and agree with almost all the feedback. Your economies are all off. Particularly gold. I spent a ton of money and used almost all of it for gold to rank my team. When you complete level 60-64 and walk away w/ less than 50 gold coins is just a joke. I can’t even donate to my guild let alone use it to do any upgrades. Then if you try farming your lucky to get any resources. We Challenge you to at least respond to some ones feedback. Good or bad. You made an awesome game just please stop celebrating and think of long term players - and adjust the economies of scale. Please. I want to play.

Overwhelming impressed. I downloaded this game and played for quite a few levels without really realizing it was by King. As a hardcore gamer, I have never really been interested with any of their previous titles. While the gameplay is a puzzle game at heart it offers a variety of strategy. The characters are charming and it has the polish you would expect from a big name in mobile gaming. Here’s to hoping this is just the start of King branching out from their standard formula, because this game is a rock solid offering.

Love it!!!. Candy Crush is a thing of the past. I absolutely love this new game and all of the variety of game modes it offers. This game is perfection when it comes to mobile gaming. If I had only one game to install on my phone, this one would be my first choice without question. The characters are fun to watch, especially when they are ready to attack. Unlike candy crush, there’s actually a bit of strategy in order to defeat a level. Great work!!!!

Don’t play this game - you may lose your job.. Incredibly addicting and engaging gameplay. Literally like tiny shots of dopamine being injected into your brain every 30 seconds. Very expansive - they’ve combined elements of a lot of famous RPGs to create One RPG to Rule Them All ( conveniently inside your pocket). Inspiration from Warcraft 3, WoW, GoT, and more. Also rad that the main character is a female that is not sexualized. So many different styles of play keep it from becoming dull - an addictive gamer’s worst nightmare. Don’t play this game if you have a family that you love - you may never see them again.

Treasure Hunts. Been playing Solgard for YEARS now and if I change one thing it would be the treasure hunts. I would make them like a boss battle and fight to the death without limiting the amount of turns. It’s disappointing for it to get harder and harder the more of them you win and still have the same number of moves so it’s like two factions against you at the same time and doesn’t make it really appealing to want to keep playing them.

Match 3. This is a Match 3 game, which King is known for. There is very little skill involved..mostly depends on your summon and maybe a little forward thinking as to what might happen with the opponent turn. You hit a pay wall pretty early ("discover"creatures means you will get the chance to buy them at a certain point) and will have trouble progressing in campaign or pvp if you don't want to spend. That said, it is a pleasant time waster and i play it casually. There are guilds but mostly it is more a solitaire game with little interaction with your guildmates

Crashes on iPhone 6. I love this game first off, not sure if it’s because I have an old version of an iPhone or if it’s apple in general, but the game crashes at least once maybe after 10 min of having the app open. It used to crash all the time to the point where I quit playing but the recent update made it so it doesn’t happen as often. I absolutely love this game I hope it is fixed permanently in the future

Shorter than expected. I’m sure there are plenty more levels, but coming from someone who enjoys these games because of being able to collect and unlock things, I hit a pretty hard virtual paywall at level 55. Burned an entire bank of energy and made no progress, and I don’t feel like grinding out tiny, fractional improvements to the exactly 5 characters that I have (the starter 4 plus one that isn’t better than the starter). The game felt pretty good up until this point, but this plus putting my free gems into the gacha and getting garbage out mean I’m done with this one. Moving on.

Switching devices issue. The game was great I played it for years got to a high level spent a bunch of money on it and so on. I recently switched iOS devices AND had my data backed up already before the switch. Not only did the game not transfer but after I connected to the Game Center to retrieve the back up, it created a new version that overwrote by back up data. So I just lost hundreds of dollars and years of game play. To top it all off I can’t find a single way to contact any kind of support. It just keeps Brining me back to the same forum page. It’s ridiculous and stupid. The only thing o could find was my purchase history. So that’s fine with me I’ll dump the game and never play it again and will save money in the process.

NOT cross device sync, not for ALL iOS. Do not download this game. You cannot sync with other devices. You cannot move your account to another device cross platform ...once you realize your iPad is NOT supported. Played for months, bought gems, had monthly subscription....Update killed game. Won’t even stay open. Was told I NOW need a NEW device. Okay, help me move my game to my Samsung Galaxy Tab or phone. Nope. We don’t support migration. ?... You take my money, then break the game, then tell me to buy new hardware from a list... They NEVER warned people with iPad mini 2 to not update! They do not tell you there is no cross platform support. There are forum posts and rants about this....do not spend one dime on this game until they address these issues. Even if your device works today...the next update they may decide to not support it anymore. And I mean zero support...no refund on diamonds or gold purchases from power failure, app crashes or ANYTHING....

CHANGE THE GOLD DROP AMOUNTS. First off I’d like to say I have truly enjoyed this game, they have done a great job making all of the different units you get relevant throughout the entire game. Yet one of this games great strengths has easily become a weakness when you don’t have gold to keep the champion upgrades going bc the drop for gold is so uneven with the costs for the upgrades (passed level 4) I don’t want to spend money for a huge drop of gold, and something so little shouldn’t be so hard to attain in large quantities! Please fix this. Just add a zero maybe 2 to every drop and we’ll be fine.

Really Enjoying it!. So far, I’m three days in and I’m really enjoyed by this game. My only complaint is the wait time for energy to recover is way too long! 10 minutes for one energy is kind of annoying. Other than that, the graphics are great, the story has been fun so far and a little funny, the game play is easy once you start to develop a strategy, and the levels have a nice range in difficulty. Great work. My compliments to the designers and programmers.

Too many game crashes. I really enjoy the game, I do, it reminds me of chess. But there are far too many crashes. Every time I play I’m afraid that it’s going to crash when I click on something. And now with the latest update, I can’t even play without it crashing every 3 seconds. Not sure what’s going on but if you could fix those I’ll enjoy it even more. I just don’t like having to start the app up again, just to click on the campaign mode, only for it to crash before the map loads in. I just want to play guys

Fun but crashes so often. I am on iphone 6 and the game will crash very often, almost always at crucial times in the middle of a battle. As I play the phone will get warmer and warmer and then crash. I understand my phone is a bit old but the app store say it’s compatible. Other than that the game is so fun. Various game modes allow variety and things to do. At first it seems like one of those match-3 games but regardless there are fun elements that keeps me engaging. I think the game is pretty well balanced.

Disappointing Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes clone. I loved M&M:CoH so when I heard this game used its puzzle-battle mechanics I was excited to play it. Unfortunately it has a very obvious pay-to-win flavor. The battles are shorter and often feel randomized to favor the AI. There’s nothing you can’t grind for so in that way it is fair, but unfortunately the game’s mechanics have been weighted to favor grinding/paying over strategy. Bizarrely, there seems to be no actual competitive multiplayer - only VS bots using other players’ teams - which supports my feeling that the game isn’t actually balanced fairly.

I used to love this game, updates have ruined it. This was a fun and addictive game, but the programmers kept making changes to the point that I don’t even understand the game I’ve been playing for 6 months anymore. I’ve beat all the levels, but instead of making new levels they keep changing prizes and currency to upgrade characters. I spent a long time building up characters, and the last update completed changed all characters’ strength and hit points to erase all the effort I put in. If this is the developers’ way of profiting more from the game it’s failing because they are turning their existing players away.

Has if not for crucial flaws. I like the actual gameplay and game modes a lot. The biggest problem is the energy mechanic. It takes too much energy for each level and it refills very slowly. It doesn’t even refill upon leveling up like the vast majority of other games with this mechanic. The other annoying thing is the insane amount of real money packages it throws in your face. I don’t mind micro transactions but this is next level. It seems like there’s a new pop up for some package every 5 minutes!

Great but could be better. I drop it 2 Stars because of how the game progresses. Doing the energy for lives thing is fine but the farther you progress the more energy it costs to play one level. I spend money on these types of games which I don’t worry about but I would like to not have to spend money just to play the game for more than 20 minutes. It cost 12 energy to play one round for me and the character doesn’t level up quick enough to compensate. Either go to a 5 hearts system like candy crush or lower the energy requirement. Would be nice to have an unlimited lives option to earn for a couple hours too.

Needs to have more gold reward.. After completing levels, there should be more of a good reward so you can keep leveling up your characters and abilities. To complete a level and get 6 gold when the upgrades are 100+ gold is absurd. It takes too long to get gold and the reward after beating levels should be way more. Also having to pay to rank your characters up after getting the 3 leveling gems is stupid and should be removed. Another thing would be that cool down times for events like mining and treasure need to be drastically lowered so you can play them more often.

No Longer Fun. It was a great game that I truly enjoyed until the developers started getting greedy as the usually end up doing. Ever since the game was overhauled a couple of months ago, it has now become a complete grind. I don't mind "grinding" in a game, that's standard but when it becomes all a grind with absolutely no end reward it is time to give it up. Sadly I did today and transferred my guild to another player. I work for a living, I don't need to work for a game. Taking my money elsewhere. Yup, I admit it. I pay to play and even have an account just for gaming. But I'm not wasting it on a game that stops being fun. Gave it a chance. Thanks guys for destroying a fun game.

Fantastic Game!. This is the first phone based game that I’ve ever truly been addicted to, I love it so much. I enjoy it so much that I’ve actually WILLINGLY put money into buying in game bundles. They’re not necessary to win and have fun; I just seem to have a gambling habit. I’m giving it 4/5 stars though because of how outrageous their special purchases are... I love this game and I throw a lot of money into it; but $100 for epic purchases is crazy... I’d pay up to like $50-$70, but triple digits for virtual stuff in an iPhone game is asking too much.
