Great game. Though there are some minor bugs, yet this game is so great. Hope to get some updates to fix the bugs and add more robots to play with for this isn’t a free game, hope you guys can do something with the $4.99 from every player who bought it and make this game more than just a simple AR game

Unresponsive... can’t even get through tutorial. iPhone 7+ iOS 11 and the app is poorly responsive. To move through the tutorial tapping the next on the info bubbles requires a precision tap in the right spot at the right time lol. Finally got to the “To move your Hero” bit and no matter how I positioned the cursor in the highlighted area and tapped on my Hero’s portrait in the lower corner... no dice. To buggy and not responsive enough for a $5 app out of the gate. Will be requesting a refund.

Love it it’s hard to understand. With the update it’s now way much better and easier i love the graphics the AR is amazing good work guys very impressive hope to see even better updates in the near future thank you for the hard work doing this kind of game.. peace!!

Best game ever!!!. Ok this game is sooo good. I highly recommend this app. In my opinion this app is so worth 4.99 it is really fun. I’ve had this game for a while now and I’m wanting to play this game even more. This app is amazing. Thank you so much directive Games Limited. Hope to see more AR games.

I love the concept but.... For some reason i am getting a left to right pulsing effect when the camera generates the map. I can’t figure out why it is doing this, but every time I reset the app and reset the table playing field, it continues pulsing left and right.. is there something I’m doing wrong here?

be careful when playing. I played this game for a while. ARkit is great . this game is great but for now the implementation is somewhat average (not amazing cuz those glitches here and there). it crashes on both my iPhone 7p and iPad pro 10.5 from time to time. oh BTW, playing this game would be really like playing billiards which means miles walking around the plane(table)

Great tech demo. Purpose built to demo some cool AR gameplay but not the greatest gameplay possible. Crashed in the middle of my first game. Tracking the units and getting a good view becomes the game which feels more like fighting the interface. I suspect you need to run around like a wii fit game to get much out of it. Mechanics end up feeling a bit button mashy. There may be a decently designed game somewhere in there. Perhaps a tutorial of on boarding would help. Great looking and the AR perspective placement seems decent but it seems at this point the core ARKit tech is a bit jittery.

Really disappointed for $4.99. The app runs on my 1st gen iPad Pro but the experience is so disappointing. I was able to start playing but it didn’t detect my table properly, so the game platform looks like it is hovering above the table surface instead of sitting on the table like a board game. I was also not very successful at placing the game correctly where I wanted it and couldn’t rotate the board before placing it. The result was a game sitting weirdly on the table and just not a great AR experience. Finally, the scale of the game just feels very unnatural. It feels like it is too large for the room and I was unable to scale it to make it feel more proportional to my living room. I’d like my money back, because this isn’t the AR experience I was expecting for $4.99. I hope the developer takes my feedback into consideration and makes some improvements for future releases.

Confusing. The game overall is really interesting and a nice way to use the new AR technology, but it does have several flaws. - if im in singleplayer how come I can't pause the game? - if I moved like from a kitchen to outside, why can't I recalibrate the board.? - there are several bugs with the tutorial and the game, even with an A10 chip. - there need so be a better explanation of why certain heroes are locked. - can there be a way to not have to use a camera and instead just use the screen with pinch to zoom and other ways like how clash of clans does it? - I think it's a little too pricey for all these issues. In my opinion great idea but under developed.

Looks amazing!. The Machines looks amazing. The way they utilize AR and weave it into their gameplay is a brilliant way to immerse the player and making them feel like the general in an epic battle. If you try one AR game this year, let it be the Machines.

Disappointed (hot game). I was very excited to try what I had seen in the keynote, but two pretty serious problems seem to be occurring for me. The game crashes on my iPad Pro after a couple of minutes and becomes very hot to the touch. It hasn’t crashed on my iPhone 7 Plus because the phones becomes almost too hot to touch within a minute and I haven’t been able to play it long enough to see if crashes also. The heat was very surprising. The plane detection and rendered art look great however.

A lot of Problems. Let’s see where to begin. I installed the game on both my iPad Pro and my iPhone 7 Plus. So my devices meet the minimum hardware needed for the game to run. A few reviews mention the inability for the game to detect a game plane. I aim my devices on conference room tables and pan around slowly, making sure to show the edges, and still it doesn’t detect the table surface. I aim the camera on the carpet and it was successful in finding a plane. When I finish the tutorial portion and I enter a player name I’m taken to the battlefield with other players and their mecs, standing around. The menus are no longer on the screen nor is the cross-hatch for aiming the camera. I can’t move my robot because I don’t have the cross-hatch to select the part of the game board to go to, and my profile isn’t displayed on the bottom corner of the screen. They rushed this game into the App Store!

A great AR experience with solid dev support. New: I got through the tutorial and the game is great fun. Thanks dev. Need a good size table for it all to fit but it doesn’t really need a table (I mean it’s AR). Original: Very buggy tutorial that wouldn’t progress. (Fixed in recent patch)

Maps?. So I started playing it and, it is interesting concept. Robots waring each other for the crown but, there is a serious lack of maps, any story, or a deep connection to the battle other than the orders issued or the support you can give, which isn’t all that great other than a death beam to the enemy or weak mini-towers which only serve to annoy the enemy robot than actually do anything.

Multiplayer still broken. I want to play with my kids but multiplayer is partially broke. Selecting games close by works after update. Can’t play online because friend linking server is offline. Will rate 5 star when fixed. Game crashes randomly.

Awesome game, however.... When I received a call mid-game my Baird moved! It started to float in space... pls fix. Otherwise great game. Update for developer: I declined the call when it came in. But I understand what your saying. Next time I'll try to keep the phone in the same spot and let you know what happens. Thx

Promise is there. I think the only issue I really have is that about 3-5 minutes into the first battle the AR plane began to walk. By the time I was done the playing field was completely off my table and very gittery. Like it couldn’t find points to hold to. Could be a really fun game soon, but was giving me a headache as it moved and jumped around the table. Was using a very bright and evenly lit room to. And was perfect for the first few minutes.

Post 1.1.1 update edit. Played my first multiplayer game today and won! Really exhilarating knowing your outmaneuvering someone trying to take their towers. One thing about the game mechanics I think could be improved: When my hero is in combat, I will try to call him back if he gets in too deep, but no matter how many times I mash the character icon he won’t move or the command won’t register

Stopped leveling up and no new heroes. Im stuck at level 21 though ive collected enough points 10 times over to move up. But also, what does it get you? There are no new heroes to make the play more interesting. A couple more boards with a different plan would help.

I can't play！. I downloaded the game yesterday, but until now I can't even play for a minute. Every time I am prompted to disconnect from the server, my mobile phone is iPhone X, I use the LTE network, and the Wi-Fi at home is 200MB. Fiber optic network, but always keeps prompting and disconnected from the network. The picture of this game is very good. I am very eager to play this game with my children, but I don't know what to do!

Awesome game but hard at the start. I love the concept and the graphics as well as the sound effects. It really makes for a wonderfully immersive experience. Only main issue is how well the game explains things to you. For example, what are the exact requirements so I win a match or when do I unlock the other heroes? Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but I can never manage to get much damage at all on the opponents base with the excessive amounts of troops and defensive towers. I find myself usually defending the entire game without being able to actually attack. So maybe lessen that a bit? Another minor issue is that I think the trainer is too hard. Usually it’s an easy victory in most games but in this case, it’s HARD. I’m sure once I get a hang of things it will be much more enjoyable. However, these things make the start pretty annoying. However, overall, this game functions very well while looking awesome.

Works well, I love it. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, it works perfectly fine on it, no stutters or anything! :) my only issue is finding a surface to play on, it never works on tables, only rugs on the floor and stuff. But I think that’s a limitation with the newborn ARKit, rather than this game. Because all my AR games using ARKit have this issue

“Can’t find flat area”... ever.. I’ve tried everything: kitchen table, coffee table, floor (carpet and linoleum), all of the above with a blanket/sheet, changed the lighting brightness and angle on all of the above, and it won’t find a flat area. I can’t find any instructions ANYWHERE, there’s no tutorial, and if there is it’s useless because there’s no way past the “finding flat area” part to even see if there is a tutorial. Developers, please help, otherwise I’ll be requesting a refund.

Amazing start. Just getting started with this game. Looks amazing when you actually get it working. Has a hard time detecting planes for placing a game board (camera is really dark. Not sure if that matters.) Also doesn't seem to be any way to change the game board placement once it's set besides quitting and relaunching the game. Maybe I'm missing it. No settings? Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Almost there guys.... I really hope you actually take time to read this. I have 3 stars for the reasons as follows. 1. Please, please, I beg of the developers to add an option to toggle a zoom feature, because I feel a good amount of the player base has trouble handling the phone or would at least appreciate a zoom feature without using physical motion forward and backwards. I knot that this is possible for the simple fact that the standard camera has a zoom function. Just utilize it. 2.I do enjoy the characters and the graphics are great. But the ai system 🤔 not so good. A player who is well educated in mobas would appreciate a decent ai system in a single player setting. Give meaning to the game with some action wanton story with certain scenario is maybe. Idk. Maybe a little much but I know it’s there. I also know that this system could bring the MOBA genre into the light. So much of our new generation plays on mobile now. It’s the perfect market to get new ppl in the community. In conclusion, I do appreciate you takin the time to actually read out a wanting to be loyal fan of your remarkable make of a game. I truly can’t wait to hear back and hope to eventually give this piece of art what it deserves.

The future of gaming. The app is really an amazing feat. The detail in the 3D models is super crisp and there’s something so magical about being able to physically move closer to zoom in to the battlefield. I just wish that maybe there was a slightly better description of the win conditions, but otherwise this game is solid.

This game + me = Richard + VR on Silicon Valley. It might just be me, but I feel sick when playing this. Things bounce around and there’s a shakiness that makes me turn off the app before I finish a game. I haven’t heard many people have the same complaint. Maybe I’m just the anomaly. I haven’t had much luck with other AR games... so maybe it’s not for me. I’d suggest people try out a free AR game before spending a few bucks on one... just to see how they feel about the whole thing.

What an awesome game to demonstrate the potential of AR. Great example of demonstrating the potential and power of AR. Good game to show and impress your friends. The gameplay and controls are difficult to get used to. The difficulty of the first few should be made easier so players can use to the gameplay and control and the objectives of the missions need to be clear and obvious. Best AR games on iOS!

(Updated) Multiplayer is working now.... Original Review: Purchased this game to play locally with friends and family during the holiday’s. After going through all the tutorials and getting all devices set up to play, the multiplayer map will launch just fine. However, the bases and “hero’s” do not load and map just sits there. I tried waiting for it, but nothing ever loads. Very disappointed in a $5 game that Apple praised as “revolutionary”, and doesn’t work as advertised. ***Updated: After swapping to another WiFi connection the multiplayer began working very well. I have been able to play against family over the past few days, and enjoy the capabilities of the game. The developer did contact me and worked to resolve the issue which is appreciated. However, the first couple of WiFi connections and the cellular signal were not adequate to handle this game over the air. The game is very engaging and entertaining, and the local multiplayer really makes it a great game!

Great Game. Minor issue. After updating Thursday, the single player button is non responsive on my iPhone 7 and my iPad Pro. The game was working perfectly until I updated, I thought the problem may be my devices until I gave it two days without opening the app and afterwards single player is still non responsive. Multiplayer works fine, and I give it 4 stars because besides the single player problem The Machines is a beautiful and fun gaming experience.

Fantastic. So I, like many others saw this at the Apple keynote and I was intrigued. Decided to buy it tonight and try it on my ip7plus. Wow what an awesome thing to see first hand. Truly amazing display of AR gaming and makes me truly excited to see what we're gonna get down the road. The game is fun and very immersive. It looks and runs great on this device but I can't wait to see it in action on my iPhone X next month. Great job devs. A fantastic first dive into AR. I definitely recommend this. Hats off to you guys.

THe AR does not work very well.. The AR is crap when running the game on the iPhone 8. (perhaps the iPhone X is better?) The game is unable to distinguish between near and far objects in the real world and so ends up overlaying the game board on top of everything in the camera frame. For example, your leg gets in the camera frame? The game board draws over top of it in a way that completely breaks immersion. Additionally, the game board never seems to really mesh well with the real world and always look like it’s floating weirdly on top of whatever surface has been selected. Basically, for an augmented reality game, it’s quite bad at augmenting reality.

The game crashes a lot. I start playing this game early. Based on leaderboard I am first in world now in single player (“HiBye”) (12 wins out of 14). It is too easy. I want to play multiplayer. But it start searching and nobody found. Just i play once which I win. There are not much players or there is a bug? This is really a cool game. But without PvP it is worthless and boring. And... when other heroes will be unlocked? Tnx Its now about a month from the release of the game and still no proper multiplayer match making I most wait a lot I wish i can refund my money on this game It is really worthless Even there is no guild The heroes wont unlock I am still the first in multiplayer in world But i am not satisfied with the game Thanks Its about two months from the start of the game The game can’t start a multiplayer. Sometimes the field loads, but the players are not there. Apple dissatisfied me with announcement of your junk game in its AR release. It’s a cool game with a flaw.. I love this game! This game is really fun because it allowed people to play a fun game while being able to see reality that it’s in. The only problem is that the board moves around a lot and then I have to keep moving which getters really annoying after a while. I would really like this game to stabilize its game board so you can move around it and get a new perspective. A good example of this is stack AR, you can move around it all you want and it stays in place. I hope the developers see this message and fix this so I can have a better time playing this awesome game

LOVE IT. I loved it but I don’t like the fact how even though I destroyed ALL of the enemy towers I STILL lost. This game is worth the money and I really enjoyed showing it off. You should make a feature that you can customize your characters to look how ever you want.

Good game, graphics need work. This is a good game for iOS, but it needs some work. When I saw it at the Apple keynote, I immediately got it on my iPhone SE. The game is good, but I think that you should have the ability to move around the battlefield with your finger. Also, the graphics on other devices look pretty good, but on the iPhone SE it looks all fuzzy, blocky, and somewhat pixelated. If the developers could fix these two issues with the game, this would be a 5 star review.

Great Idea, Players Needed.. The AR functions work great and the controls are easy enough to use. Unfortunately, after several games I’ve noticed that almost every opponent is a bot. I’ve only played against 2 opponents that might have been players. I really hope this game takes off, I’d love to see some more heroes, maybe a few different maps, or game modes. It was a fun experience, but these bots are easily defeated, so it’s getting boring.

Does not align on my big table. I bought this because past reviews said it was awesome and that updates really improved this game, but I downloaded this game on my iPhone 7s plus and my 12 inch iPad Pro and it does not align on my table properly. There’s no way to make battle field smaller. The border does not let you shrink it. This field is much larger than my 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 foot table. Therefore this game is not enjoyable because playing field is over the edge all the way around my table. Hope this can get fixed soon so I may enjoy it. Then I will give it 5 stars.

A question to the developers.. This game plays and looks stunning. It works very well and is very addicting. How many maps do you all plan on adding? I feel more variety would spice up the game. Although the default map is very nice looking. All in all, incredible work! I just recommend more maps.

Map moves into distance. I have yet to finish a game where in the middle of the game the map didn’t just randomly take off and end up through the wall in a different room and well below me, way too far away to be able to play. Was hoping update would fix it, still happens. iPhone 6s which it says it still works on.

Two stars for how cool it is. But that’s it. During the tutorial I was unable to direct the players to their designated location in the tutorial. So summary. I started it up and got the player board. Clicked a few things. And that sums up my experience. I’ve submitted a question to developers to ask if that’s a known issue. Hardware 7 plus

Very exciting! wanting more!. The game I didn’t know I needed! Love the game, love how when I get closer to the actual areas of fighting those sounds get louder, I love the mechanics, I love the visuals, but I want more! On your website it doesn’t tell us anything yet, but I want to know... can we currently unlock the other heroes? (If so I don’t know how) Will there be more maps? Will there be 2v2? And I wish I could choose to play a friend even on local WiFi or something, there’s also no way to communicate with anyone else on the game, not even a forum, so hard to connect to the community. Seems a shame, but the game is sooooo fun, I just want a little more content, especially with my money’s, potentially would love to pay for (or get for free wink wink ;))more skins/win effects (like both robots high five) and maps. Since it’s a paid app of course not so many iap but please use our money and give us more content cause Id love to play my friends and destroy in this fun game.

Needs a better tutorial. After seeing this game at Apples keynote, I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly faded as I began to try and play it. At first, you’re greeted with a tutorial that attempts to explain the game controls. However, the tutorial is incredibly short and barely scratches the surface of what you should do in an actual game. Once in a game I became quickly confused as to the fact that it looks like you control two sets of troops. Also, each set has some moves, but you can only guess their purpose based on the icons. Nothing within the game tells you what they actually do or are called. There is also what I’m guessing to be a specialty move that (from what I can tell) randomly pops up on the right side of the screen. Some games might not need to explain all of this if their interface was more intuitive. But, as it stands right now, the developer needs to do a much better job at conveying the game controls. I’m hoping that this game gets updated and gets much better. It has a lot of potential, just needs a clearer vision.

Unreal!. This game is truly unreal! So advanced and very well put together as a new game with the latest technology. I truly cannot wait to see how much better this game gets as time goes on. Sure it has its bugs, but it’s brand spanking new. Totally worth the $5. Heck, this would have easily been worth double. Buy it not before they get smart and increase the price!

F****NG AWESOME!. Ok I NEVER leave game reviews I’m just like most of you....ONLY IF I HATE SOMETHING! 🤷🏽‍♂️ BUT THIS GAME! Wow mind blowing! At first I was like ah man looked complicating and it’s not doing what was promised or not responsive. ONCE I figured out how to control and use the characters it all came natural it was fun it’s innovative and worth the $5 you pay given how much time and effort was put into creating this(I can only imagine) definitely recommend it especially when your wasted FYI that’s for the 21 and over kids! Keep it up! Boys!

Disappointed by AR. I have been playing for two hours both on my iPad Pro and iPhone 7 Plus. The battlefield frequently drifts outside the table on the iPad version and shakes around quite a bit on the iPhone one. I have been trying to play a multiplayer match, but the game cannot seem to pair me up with others. Strange! I wonder if these problems could be resolved.

Fun Game, great Dev response. UPDATED REVIEW Yesterday I happened to download the game during a server-side problem that made me think there was a problem with the game. There wasn’t. The developer responded very quickly and since then I’ve been enjoying tinkering with the game. It’s pretty nice to play, though there is a learning curve. If you want other people to see what you’re doing, mirroring your display to an Apple TV works well. It even works on my cluttered unused dining room table which has stacks of junk mail and other miscellaneous stuff. I’m running on an iPhone 8 Plus, and while it does get a little warm, it’s not beyond what I would expect. I played other AR games on my iPhone 6s, which did get very warm, so if you’re concerned about that, it’s time for an upgrade :-) The Dev response below is to my original review, which I have deleted.

The Machines. The Machines is AR game that allows you to place a panel in front of your living room or any other room and play with your close friends. The training is straight forward and easy, the controls I really simple. So far I’m a level two working on Level three and it’s going pretty well. But 5/5 star it’s totally worth $4.99

Device syncing not working.. This game only gets better with every update. I’m am so glad that the developers are listening to the reviews. However, I cannot seem to get the game to sync between my iPad and iPhone.

Not working on iPhone 6S+. Hi, just downloaded this game and paid $7.99 it’s not showing a plane when asked to move slowly, I touched the screen and it says hit test failed. Is my phone not compatible or is it something else.

Objective still unclear. The graphics are amazing and I love this new AR experience. Unfortunately I have no idea what I’m actually supposed to do or how to actually play the game. Edit: The update has not added any changes for me. There’s no tutorial in the main menu or help or anything. I even tried to delete and reinstall the game, but it didn’t refresh as though I’m a new player. I assume that the new 'boarding experience' only is for people playing for the first time? But I need something too because I really don’t know what I’m doing or how to play or win.

Still Crashing. Unplayable. Still crashes on iPad Pro even after applying the update 1.1.0. Needs more testing

Great game. A little tricky to work out and not your regular sit and play kinda game but great quality.

Absolutely AMAZING!!. Sure you can play all the other AR games out there but why would you? Machines will NOT disappoint, the game is easy to play, the dynamic sound feature is amazing the closer you get the louder and more visual detail there is. For $8 Australian it is well worth the price, I expect this one to go down in the hall of fame, while your enemy goes down in flames. If only I could play it on “cardboard” or similar ... Of course you might trip on your rug or your table if you played on cardboard, but that’s your own fault for not clearing enough space! Do yourself a favour BUY and play machines today!!

Doesn’t work on iPad Air 2. Bummer as I really wanted to play it. Will need a new device I guess

5 star game!. Great game! Grabbed an iPhone 8 yesterday after being on a windows phone for the last few years, set it up, found this game, downloaded and played. Wow, what a cool, easy to play game. Good graphics, sound and gameplay. Move your guys, support them with turrets and special abilities, kill the other team and blow up their base. Cant wait for more content.

Can’t invite friends. Game looks amazing however the option to invite and play against friends doesn’t work. I’m disappointed as that’s why I bought the game in the first place

Lots of bugs & bugs. Trainer need better explain because I don’t know what to do because it get stuck on iPad Pro 12.9 & iPhone 7 Plus & to many crashes & glitches like screen going crazy. This game not ready.

payam m123. I have an iphone 7 plus and the game runs smoothly. So far I've only tried the campaign mode which is an amazing experience and as a developer I think you guys have done a wonderful job.

AR anchor not working. This update ruined the AR anchor brought by ios 11.2.5. Now the map keeps shifting from one are to the other and the app becomes difficult. Its like chasing the map so i keep on recalibrating to move it back to the same place. Please fix this asap. I love this game but now I can not enjoy it the way i did before this last update.

A very impressive start plus great support. Out of the gate this game is very impressive. The gameplay is like nothing you’ve ever played before. It’s quite fun. If you’re at all tempted to try try it, you really should. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what else comes as the game gets updated. Also, I had a question about some features in the app and an email to their support address was responded to in just a few minutes. They are clearly committed to making a great game.

Smart concept. Have been wanting to see AR games come to this level and this has really evolved the level of gaming. This game has lots of potential. Uses the concept of dota, and you control two heroes with abilities. The downside is there is no single player, you have to play against online opponents. I hope to see more coming from this game, if this is all there is to offer then that is a real shame

Interesting, but crashes.. The game crashes everytime I try to destroy the last piece of monument of the enemy, the energy source or something. iPad Pro 10,5, latest version 1.1 of the game. Will this game get diversity or is it as simple as pointing the screen ? It will get boring.

Very cool game. Game is very addictive and experience is amazing at first. However, after a while multiplayer fun wears off because player matching isn’t great that great. I even got an impression i played against bots all the time because players i was getting matched to were totally lame (and i am a newb myself). I never played someone in top100 where player ranked 100th had less than 5 battles won. Also ranking system is very weak. All that counts is how many battles you won.

No refunds?. This game us far from what is advertise, it crashes, it does not lock well on the AR zone. Apple hyped this game as revolutionary but is not ready yet. No refunds ?? Seriously ?? I feel like I fell in a scam and there is nothing I can do about it. Is ridiculous.

Phenomenal. You folks deserve all the positive press in the world. This has been the first game in utter years that’s made my jaw drop. You’ve taken new technology and truly harnessed it to leapfrog into a new world of gaming. Augmented Reality has a future and you’ve single handedly proven it with this game.

The AR is twitchy.. Game could be good. The AR is faulty, tried to use it but the game board would disappear. Game play should not be solely rest on the game to identify a flat surface. There should be a default setting for the board setup.

Worth every penny. Don’t look at the price tag when you buy this game. You will not regret it. This game is the future of lane based, tower-minion warfare. The graphics are gorgeous. The sounds are engrossing. I usually mute my phone when I play games, not for this title. You have to buy this game.

Crash crash crash. I have the newest iPad Pro 12.9” this game crashes every single time about 2-3 min in.

Wifi required. This game is incredible! You can really feel the love the developers put into the game. The only problem that I have with it is the need of wifi to play the game. This question is primarily for the developers. Would it be possible to make, for example, a computer opponent in which does not need wifi, and the player can select the difficulty like easy, medium, and hard when opposing the AI? You could still keep the loading, and menu the same, but say offline to the features that require a internet connection. I know people have data, or wifi in most areas, but this would be beneficial to those who do not always have access to it. This could then benefit people like me that can then play the game without wifi, and can still enjoy the Immersive experience of the game itself. All in all, if u do use wifi, purchase the game. It is worth it! :) 👌🏻

Great game if it wouldn’t crash!. The game itself is really cool and innovative, but the experience is ruined by the game crashing 30 seconds into each battle! I haven’t even been able to complete a single battle! Please fix crashing on iPad Pro 10.5 inch! Will rate it higher when fixed.

Some suggestions. I wrote a review about this game yesterday state that the game does not response. It turns out it’s just a misunderstanding, the game server was down. However, I really want to point something out here. I wrote a email to them complain about my problem. I received a response in less than 5mins. This is something really awesome it shows that the team care about players. After the server went back online, I tried the game both on my iPad Pro and iPhone. First of all I would like to point out the graphic of the game is really good, and the AR just make the gaming experience seems more realistic. However there are some downside as well, it make my iPhone seriously hot in a very short period of time, hopefully this won’t happen after I switch to iPhoneX. It also seems like it’s very difficult for the game to find a plain surface. Finally, the game does not allows you to zoom in and out using your fingers, the only way to zoom in and out is by actually moving your phone closer or away from the plain surface. With all of the above been said, I would like to say thank you for the team, you guys has down a awesome job so far. Keep it up.

Review. Cool concept; just not fleshed out yet. Graphics aren’t smooth. Gameplay is mediocre, feels more like a tech promo. Camera angle can be worked on. Game mode itself wasn’t fun. Think more brawl less Moba. 3/5

Game Doesn’t Work. When it launches it says find a plane and won’t bring up my camera. Very disappointed and would like a full refund. Don’t bother downloading until they fix this issue

Terrible. I couldn’t get past opening the game. I have an iPad Pro and I guess it doesn’t like the device. I wish there was a way to get refunded. This was a total waste of money

Needs more. This app is fun but it’s missing a lot of basic things like multiple level choices a harder AI

Campaign mode and/or more levels?. This was what Apple used as their VR demo. Are you really just giving up after one level?

Good game. The tutorial doesn’t teach you anything about the win conditions, and I am experiencing long lag when I use some special power for one of my heroes on my iPhone 7. Other than that it’s a good game to show ARKit’s power.

Doesn’t work. So disappointed - our kids used their allowance to purchase and it won’t work on any iPad we have. Only their dads iPhone. Which we would have known to begin with!

Table alignment and selection. I was pretty psyched about this game when I first saw it but after multiple attempts to select a table it seems like it does not like any I own. When I finally got it to work on a table a work it was 45 degrees offset. I have an iPhone 8plus. 3 other coworkers have had similar issues.

Doesn’t work on new iPads.. Straight up won’t load past a white screen on 2018 iPad Pro. Waste of $5.

Impressive idea, but needs lots of work to improve. graphics and game play are awesome but, 2 main issues currently: - cant set the game board as it should fit. e.g. does not detect the table, why no options to fix the board manually? - much more expectations from the tutorial!

Has some issues. This app looks like it would be great, but it has a number of startup issues. 1) you can’t adjust the size of the board. 2) It finds the tabletop and creates the playing board way too big.

Great first iteration!!!. This is a great proof of concept for mobile AR gaming!! Are there any plans for local multiplayer?? Are there any plans for online multiplayer with friends?

Crash!. When I tap on the health bottom in the solo mode, unfortunately, the game crashes, again and again.

Great with Potential. Great on floor or coffee table. Makes me get involved in strategy And very engaging. Hopefully there will be more levels added soon with different layouts. But great so far.

Needs much improvement. Device: iPhone 7 Plus OS: iOS 11 Plane detection (play area detection) is finicky at best. Once the game does start it’s rather confusing to figure out how to start playing. Much development and improvement is needed to get this game play like the demonstration at WWDC.

Legit. I love the game. A little glitchy when I play multiplayer with friends. Matches keep ending in a “draw” though. Not sure if there’s some sort of strategy guide. That would be cool.

Same issue as Superman. Running on 6S. Program says my device is suitable yet I get dark screen and a red message that’s says “plane not detected.” I tried to tap screen but nothing happens. Maybe this game doesn’t work.

Great game but needs bug fixes. The game is awesome, but I can’t seem to get past the first level without the game crashing on my iPad Pro first gen. Should’ve used Unity :)

Very very cool game!!!!!. This game is awesome! The graphics are spectacular especially for an Augmented reality game, just looking at the battlefield is enough to amaze me because of how much big and little details are in it. The gameplay is alright, it’s a little hard to manage two robots on a relatively giant battlefield (in comparison to the robots), but in the end I feel like that is actually really good since you have to make sure your two hero bots are going the way you want them to, if they get into a fight you have to activate their abilities for them. What really makes it hard is that it doesn’t tell you when they are in a fight, you just have to keeping checking up on them both as you look at the rest of the chaos around you, such as where the other enemy hero bots are, where the enemy and your mini trips are at (to see where where to put your hero for galling in offense or defense). The best part about being able to control both of your heroes at the same time however is that you get to strategize better and adapt to what is going on. Like say both of your heroes are on the outside lanes, and then you see that the enemy is pushing in the center lane about to attack your tower. You can rerout your heroes to attack from any direction you want so one can attack from behind while the other circles around to ambush them. You can also deploy these power up type things where you can deploy a turret anywhere on the map, or give your units more health or just simply deploy some giant space laser that strikes down the enemies in an area. All of these combined makes for great strategies and gameplay. My main concern again is having to manage so many things, but also again, it is part of what makes this game fun. Also we need more heroes! And if you could create different skins to unlock, and power ups for you to activate, and maybe come up with different variations for the mini troops, maybe one day you guys, the developers, could come up with a whole mother map! I understand that making something in AR at high quality graphics is a little hard and challenging and costly and time consuming; but this is a great game and it has a lot of potential!!! Also if you could make a mode where you can see the hero bots at full size in AR, that’s be dope too!

THIS GAME IS GREAT! ONLY 1 ISSUE. I love this game, the only downfall is you cant play a certain friend with the same game. When you select multiplayer it picks some random player for you...BUMMER!!!

Doesn’t work well in 12.9” iPad Pro 2nd Gen. The AppStore says my devices doesn’t support of required features... a brand new top of the line iPad Pro doesn’t support what?! Has trouble with button presses towards bottom of screen making just playing the game when it does work almost impossible... I couldn’t even get through the tutorial...

Controls could use tweaking. Its annoying having to click targets with a tiny reticle and it not always registering or taking a while to respond to my command. The two heroes could have different controls by just tapping them on the map and dragging to a target.

Looking Fun when working, but.... I was only able to play the game for 5 mins. I played on the iPad Pro 2. The game blacked out during the battle twice. Hopefully the develops can fix the bug soon

Needs a lot of work to be worth 5 dollars. This is a good game idea but the board set up is very limited and the details are often too tiny to be seen. The gameplay is stale and there isn’t much to do, and the instructions are poorly done. In all kind of a disappointment, the pictures in the App Store are nothing like the actual game

Will Not Load on New iPad Pro 2018. After installing and restarting the device, the only thing that I have managed to get is a white screen before the game crashes back to the home screen.

Hit test failed fix. Go to your settings and enable camera for the game.. I figured it out..

Must play AR game. This game is at the cutting edge of tech. Phenomenal graphics and game play. Very responsive action. So much fun. Takes phone gaming to the next level. It’s an experience like no other. The unique AR tech produces true immersion.

This game is just amazing ‼️👏🏾👍🏾🙌🏾. This game really blew me away. I saw the demo at the recent Apple event and experiencing it first hand does not disappoint!
