Family sharing after purchasing doesn’t work. I should of read the reviews before I purchased. But my daughter just loved the first 3 letters. I can’t get the purchase on to my iPad. I bought on my iPhone 7. Please help! I’ve already emailed the developer.

I was happy until I realized it didn't work.. I first tested this on my phone and loved how it worked! So I downloaded it on my daughters iPad and paid the $2.99 to unlock all the features, only to find that when it gets to the animation and tracing, the screen goes blank. Bummer.

when will the bug be fixed. The letters bug has been there for years yet no one fixing it. How can children enjoy the app when it annoying it to move the bug around the letters. Not only that but the letters bug under the grass not fixed also. Ugh what a joke for a kid education app.

Cannot restore purchase. After my son deleted the app it won’t let you restore the purchase, the button does not work and wants me to buy it again.

Great, wish there was more to it..... The app and interface are top notch and I think will really help kids to learn. However I bought the app thinking there was more than only the tracing parts. I wish there were at least lower case letters, letter matching and maybe a few games would be great! Maybe in some updates?

Sounds not quite accurate. I love the ease of the app and the idea of it, but the sounds are not single phonemes. I teach first and second grade phonics and couldn’t help but notice that many of the sounds have the schwa, or the “uh” sound added to it. For example, the letter S should not be /suh/, but just /s/. Also O and X are just incorrect. O should not be orange because in that instance O is being controlled by the R and its sound is changed. Instead, use a word like “octopus” to show the short sound of O. And X makes the /ks/ sound. Your phonics video does it correctly with the word “box” but this app uses “x-ray” instead. These inaccuracies may seem small, but they greatly impact a child’s reading when they’re being told to “sound it out.” Would love to see these issues corrected and then I would absolutely give this 5 stars.

Paid already & asking again to pay. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. We downloaded the game for our daughters to use. My phone broke and when I download the app again on the new phone, since it’s in app purchase, Apple ID remembers I had downloaded the app but it doesn’t remember I had paid the hefty app price for the game. Now , 3 days later of purchasing the game, it asks me to repay if I want my daughters to play beyond ABC.

Love it!. Love the app. Super affordable. I wish there was a way to change the size of the bug. It was fine at first and after an update it is HUGE.

Need to update with lower case letters. The app is good and my 22 months old enjoys it. I am giving the app a 4 stars because the app only reflect upper case letters and not also lower case letters. It would make sense for the kids to see, to recognize and to learn both UPPER and lower case letters. Realistically, lower case letters are more commonly utilized and seen in real life so why not introduce it to them in their early learning years? The app would get a 5 if it teaches the kids both UPPER & lower case letters.

Good app but buggy?!. My 3-yr-old used to love this app. But one day the graphics started messing up. When it comes time to trace the letter, the ladybug is huge compared to the letter, and also the letter is too big and extends below the grass bottom border. You can’t see the whole letter because the grass is in the way. My daughter asks me to move the grass but I can’t seem to get this to resize, I tried zooming, resetting, redownloading. Now she doesn’t want to play it anymore 😕

Incorrect Sounds. I love the idea of this app (sounds and formation practice), but the sounds are not correct. Most letter sounds on this app have an extra /uh/ attached to it when they are trying to single out a sound. They are teaching the kids to say duance instead of dance. The O example says /or/ not /ō/. Another note on that: make all vowel sounds long or short when teaching, not both. Switch the example to something like octopus. My opinion as a teacher: the way this app teaches sounds will absolutely mess up kids when they are learning to read and spell. Additionally, for $4, this app should have both upper and lower case letter practice.

Tracing screen is blank.. Downloaded this for my 2 year old. The erasing part works fine, but the screen with the tracing is blank with sounds. And before I get a generic developer response saying it needs iOS 10, this iPad is 10.3.3, so it's not that. I'd gladly pay for the full version but there's no way I'm doing that if the app doesn't work properly.

Great app!. This app is great! My son loves it a lot! But we have some bugs. One of them is “no music returns after tapping microphone button on right corner second time”.

Unable to Restore Purchase. I downloaded the app on my daughter's iPad, and purchased the additional letters. She also has the app on my iPhone when her iPad is not available. When she opened the app I noticed that the other letters were not available, and I'm unable to restore the purchase! #UnhappyMother

Won’t let me restore. I love the app but I switched to a new phone and now the apps won’t let me restore the in app purchases & I refuse to keep paying every time I download it on another phone or tablet

Bad placement of the arrow key doesn’t allow child to stay till end of letter task. Don’t like the arrow keys, my child keeps pressing it and moves to the next letter as well as the home key.

Need to purchase for every device?. Purchased on my husbands iPad and we have family sharing but the app asks us to make another purchase for each device. We’re not going to pay for each device we own. Is there a way to make this available on my ipad as well? Other than that my daughter enjoys this educational game.

App not working properly on iPad 4 iOS 10. My son plays this game on an iPad 4 with iOS 10 and it doesn’t work right the animations are blank after you fill in the silhouette. I bought the game thinking it was hidden behind the paywall but turns out that it’s just bugged and or it compatible even though the requirements says it is.

Great head start for kids!!!. My son loves Dave and Ava! This is such a great app for him to learn the alphabet. He is only 16 months old and is already tracing the letters and scratching off the pictures.

Excellent letter tracing. My daughter love this app and trace all the alphabets but only the problem is next button. She is able process next button without tracing alphabets so trying to see if there is any option to disable next button on the upper right hand side next button.

Sizing. Half of the letters when you go to trace them are covered by grass. Also, it’s easily closed with all the slide down/up screen options (not sure there’s anything that can be done about that) other than these two things, it is a great concept

Question: help. I paid for this game on an old phone I had. Once I got my new phone and downloaded the game it said I had to pay for it again. Do I really have to pay for it again or is there a way I can get it back again without having to pay for it.

Good app but size is off for IPhone10. Our two year old loves this. i Loaded it on my iPhone X and it worked perfectly at first. My wife saw how much our child liked it and loaded it on her phone that’s NOT an iPhone X. After viewing it on the other phone and coming back to my iPhone X the letters are huge and extend past THE GRASS LOWER border on the screen. Also, it’s like the icons are bigger than they should be, and the bugs and fruit rewards are bigger than they should be and make it difficult to trace the letters. Our kid is frustrated using it on my iPhone X and my kid only use it on my wife’s phone. i’ve tried deleting the app and re-adding it and it’s still the same. Ugh.

The sounds are WRONG.. The graphics are perfect and it is eye catching. My only issue is that almost every sound is incorrect. Sounds are very tricky and if you don’t teach kids the right way to say them, it will mess up their ability to segment words or spell words. I’m speaking from a teacher stance. Every consonant vowel combination does not have the short a. Also, Escher vowel makes 2 sounds. The long vowel sound and the short vowel sound.

Won’t restore purchase. I had purchased this app for my daughter a few months ago. Now it won’t let me restore it. It a shame because my daughter enjoyed this app and now I would have to pay for it all over again.

Stopped working. We purchased the full version and have been pleased with it for some time. However, today, out of the blue, the app stopped working on one of our devices. The device is functioning fine with everything else. I have installed and uninstalled the app. I have checked for updates (both software and app updates), and it still stops as soon as the screen shifts from the letter screen to the tracing screen.

Whole app not working. My mother downloaded this app on her iPhone for my 2 yr old, so I decided to purchase this app on my iPad for my 2 yr old, and after you uncover the picture to reveal the letter everything just goes white and I'm not able to trace the letters or anything. Hopefully this gets solved because I didn't want to spend money on an app that doesn't work.

Please fix it. I want what I paid for.. I love this app but it doesn’t fully work on iPads. You can’t trace or anything. There’s only audio. It’s very frustrating for my child.

Deceitful. I don’t mind paying for the app as my children enjoy it but to hide the $2.99 charge to unlock the rest of the alphabet by placing it as part of the game is dishonest and deceitful! Be upfront about the additional cost rather than sneaky. *VERY* disappointed.

Needs a update. This game hasn’t been updated in 3 years and my two year old loves this game and I don’t like to see her cry or get upset because of game crashes a lot.

One time purchase???. When I purchased these apps I thought it was a one time purchase. I now see it was a monthly subscription which I don’t want. I looked everywhere trying to find a way to unsubscribe from the two apps but I can’t find any way to unsubscribe via app or on line website. No response from developers or website. Highly disappointed that this is a monthly charge and not a one time purchase. If someone can help me unsubscribe I’d appreciate it.

Not sure what to do. I gladly paid the $3, since my granddaughter like the first 3 letters so much. She did the rest of the alphabet and when I turned the app off, it froze. It’s asking me to pay the $3 dollars again. Not sure I want to keep paying $3 every time she wants to do the alphabet.

The page goes blank after character is complete. I believe the app is defective and not working properly. After tracing the character next to the letter the page goes white and that's it. My son keeps asking what happened.

Recurring charge !!!. First you tell us it free. Then you tell us we need to pay 2.99 to get the full app. Then when I see my credit card it says recurring charge of $3.25. Recurring charge!!! How many time I need to pay for this app. And how much! Tell me at once.

Disappointed. I hoped this would work out based on some of the great reviews and my 1 and a half year old seemed to be delighted by the cartoons and sounds however the tracing portion of the app places the letters below the grass line and you can’t always get the bug under the grass. Seems like a pretty major issue to overlook considering all the people using their smartphones, I have an iPhone XS. I hope they fix this otherwise the app is going to be deleted

Best App for 2 year old. This is the only review I've left for an App because it is EXCEPTIONAL. I paid $3 for it and if it's worth it I don't mind. I'm having a hard time finding good toddler apps. They all want you to pay, pay, pay and keep paying. I've had this for one month but he loves this App. He became so frustrated today over another App that has nice graphics, so I paid $3 for it and that wasn't good enough they wanted more money and my toddler finds these purchase prompts very frustrating. And in turn I am frustrated. This Dave and Ava App is easy to navigate for him and does not frustrate him at all. This is by far the best app I have come across. I'm going to get the Dave and Ava Farm Animal App next.

Nice app But Misleading. The Dave and Ava videos are absolutely amazing but the promos for the free apps are very misleading. The “free” app is extremely limited. For example, on the ABC app, that’s all you get, ABC, which is the part that’s marketed on the videos anyway. Disappointing, it could have at least gotten you a little bit further into the alphabet. So we’re deleting the app but will continue to enjoy the videos.

Love It. My daughter has been in love with Dave and Ava since she was an infant. We downloaded the trial for this app and she immediately learned letters ABC, which made me want to purchase the full app. I recommend it to all my friends and anyone looking for an educational app for toddlers.

Zooms in. Our son loves this but right after we purchased for the full alphabet, the letters zoomed in where you can’t see the full letter because it’s blocked by the grass and the bug is huge. You can’t see where you’re dragging it. It’s confusing and even though our son loves the game, he gets super frustrated because it looks like it’s at the end but the bug covers almost the entire letter now. I’ve tried to delete and download again but it still does it. Not worth it with how frustrating it is for kids.

Loved the app but it’s tracing doesn’t work on my iPad!. My daughter is in love with this app. But the pictures go away and it’s just blank white screen once she fills in the color and the tracing letter part doesn’t come at all while using this app on my iPad having iOS 10.1.2. The app works perfectly on my iPhone 6S plus but I prefer for her to use it on the iPad due to bigger screen compared to iPhone.

1 of the BEST…!!!. This app is by far 1 of the best apps I’ve ever purchased. My two daughters love it so much that they’ve developed their writing, or reading skill.

It ate my quarter. I paid $2.99 to unlock all letters for my son on my iPad. I figured the tracing app portion would become available too. It did not and the animations are still broken. I reloaded it hoping the problems might get fixed. That didn't work and worse yet, it forgot my purchase and now my son is stuck with a,b, and c again.

Absolute Perfection!. What a great follow up for a show my 3 and 1 year old daughter are already in love with! I wish I could get the game to play on my old IPad 2 but it maxes out at iOS 9.4.3 or something and the games need at least iOS 10. Don’t care! I’ll have their grandma download it on her iPad and it’s already on my phone. Poking the tracing lady bugs result in endless laughter and coloring to reveal her favorite characters is so satisfying! Totally worth the money!

Bugs and not totally free!. Tracing does not work. I got a blank screen and nothing happens. Please fix that. If it was a free app I would no complain and I would remove it, but I paid for all letters and I expect it to work. Not good at all. So my little brother loves Dave and Ava so I downloaded this game For him and it turned out that you have to pay for the full game because the game only comes with one thing and that really upsets me. So I highly suggest that you don’t download this game unless you want to play for it and that goes for all of the Dave and Ava games.

Perfect for toddlers. I got this app yesterday, and tested it, and I see that it is completely kid friendly. Although I am 15 going on 16 I love your channel, and I have a few cousins who I think would absolutely love it. It makes it even more fun when you can color in what that letter is for, and all you have to do to trace the letter is drag the really hungry bug along the dotted line to the fruit.

It seems like a good app but. It seems like a good app where a to c does work , if we touch any of the letters,2 button with 2 colour appears , where it only says click blue button for 3 second, which I did and the transaction for 4.99 went through, luckily it didn’t went through,I didn’t accept again to confirm the pay, if my kid was using it, it should have been went through and purchased. as a parent i can say it’s Misleading, and its motivated by earning money by tricking..(Just sharing what I been through)

No animation and does not proceed to tracing. After coloring in the object pertaining to a letter, the screen goes blank, there is no animation and does not proceed to the part where you trace the letters. I paid for in-app purchases but it won't even work properly.

I purchased this game and we couldn’t use it whenever we would select a letter it would just stay a white screen so I uninstalled it and reinstalled and now it wants me to purchase the app again so I would like this rectified ASAP We have the 123 and my child absolutely loves it and we haven’t had any issues but this one still needs some work.

Technical problem. There is some technical difficulties happening to this app on my iPad. This game happens to go blank after we wipe off the pictures beside the alphabet letters, and it does not allow my toddler to practice the next writing part. Where can I get help to fix this problem?

Doesn’t sync to iPad from iPhone.. Purchased this app for my 3 yr old on my phone and she loved it. Decided to let her play on my iPad and it wouldn’t sync. It was prompting me to pay the 3.99$ all over again. Not impressed. Otherwise would’ve given a better rating.

Good app but not paying to unlock the alphabet. My daughter loves watching Dave and Ava on YouTube. I downloaded the app to watch the videos offline that I saw through the ad the video plays which was $30.00, ok fair enough. Through those same ads I saw the had an alphabet app which is a free download. I was excited that there was a free app considering I paid $30.00 for the other one. My daughter was having fun tracing her letters until she reached D. I’m not paying $2.99 each additional letter making the app total almost $70.00

Once again. This is the second app to do this. I install the app, then when I try to use the full version it says “no in-app purchases allowed”. My settings are fine, in app purchases are allowed but it still won’t work. No matter what I do it’s the same thing. Same problem with letter school too. Also says “cannot connect to iTunes Store” which doesn’t make any sense. There is nothing restricted or blocked in my settings and I’ve been trying for weeks to find out what the hell is going on because I’m sick of paying for things and not getting what I pay for. Nobody is trying to fix this.

Fantastic!. Our 3.5 and 1.5 year old both love this app. We love that it is fun, interactive and educational! Our kids have been fans of Dave and Ava since about 6 months old and were excited for this game!

Unbelievable 😒. I don’t understand why you have to pay for all of the letters, it’s just a waste of money. Why do we have to pay for our children’s basics? That’s just unkind.

Does not work fully.. No animations work. The tracing section never comes up. Not worth the cost by a long shot. I suggest if you have purchased this app for your child and have not tried it for yourself to do so and see if it actually works. Have tried reinstalling the app multiple time with no success. I paid full price for a product that only has 33% functionality and it's been out for a long enough period of time that bugs like this should have been patched out by now. Just awful, I expected more.

Too expensive for nothing. I just purchased this for $3.99 and it only allows children to trace ABC from A-Z in only upper case letters. I downloaded another app for free its called ABC kids tracing and phonics its much better. I regret paying for this. It’s not even worth a penny!!! DONT RECOMMEND!

Needs a lock feature. My daughter loves Dave and Ava! This app is really great! My 19month old can count and knows her alphabet! What you really need is a lock feature on this screen much like your regular app. It is very annoying when she is trying reveal the picture and the screen disappears!! Please get us the lock feature as soon as you can!!!! It is the only thing missing from this app!!

Very disappointed. My kids love Dave and Ava, but $60 is ridiculous for an app I don’t care how awesome it is. So I thought hey cool this one is free we can do letters. Please fix. Doesn't work with ios10. When it works, it is great. However with updates of iOS 10.3.3, the letter tracing stops working, which is the purpose of the app. Please fix!

Not a good app. Waste of money and time. Doesn’t include any lowercase letter or word. I wouldn’t recommend this application for kids younger than 4. It doesn’t keep them interested long enough to actually learn anything.

My daughter watches Dave and Ava everyday, when she realized that Dave and Ava had an app to help her with her letters she was so excited but the problem is after she shades everything in it goes blank. 😡 I literally spent the last 3$ in my bank for all the letters. Dave and Ava Alphabet Tracing. This is a great game!

I love Dave and Ava. Because of Dave and Ava, my 18-month-old daughter knows the movements and dances to a number of songs.

Pay again?. My 18 month loves this app. It got deleted off my iPad. When I downloaded it again it’s telling me I need to pay again. I know it’s only $2.99 but why am I paying for the same thing?

Disappointed. I saw all the reviews saying the app dint work after buying so I was hesitant but I bought it because my daughter would love it, and after 2 times of using it. It is now useless, it just goes blank, I’m so disappointed and upset!

Glitch. Love the app but there is something wrong. When it switches to the screen where they trace the letters, the letter is partway under the grass and the bug and fruit are super big. Please help

Hidden in app purchases. Tells Children to hold colored button to unlock all letters. Even as an adult it is not clear that this is an in app purchase. Very shady. I deleted all of these apps immediately. Very sad as we love the Dave and Ava cartoons.

Can not see video. After finishing coloring we cannot see anything.

Won’t Restore. I love this app. My daughters love them too. But I bought the app on my phone. We family share apps a lot but this app won’t restore on their iPads or iPhones. That’s my only problem with the series of apps from Dave and Ava.

Glitch. It open up the letters and lets my little one erase to reveal the pictures, then the screen goes blank and you can only hear background voice. Please fix!!

Good app but I have subscription issues.. I purchased this app and somehow app got deleted. Now when I reinstalled the same app on my phone and it requires subscription again. How can I get it back?

I HATE ITTT. I wanted my baby brother to learn he’s 2 and he can barely talk and now becase your STUPID GOOD FOR NOTHING CHANNEL couldn’t teach him to talk AND your game only come with money involved HE IS GOING TO A SPEACH THARIPIST becase he can’t talk
