Barely does what it claims. I’ve been using this app fo a few months, and the main reason I bought it was to record my water tests. Good luck trying to review you history more than a few days old, and the statistics main screen never shows any data or is there any way to configure what you might want to see in it. All my data more than two weeks old appears to be lost or inaccessible to me.

App Crashes. I can't sign up because the app keeps crashing.

Not working. This is the second reef aquarium app I have tried and it is the second app that does not work. I cannot log anything in the app whatsoever. Support from the company is absent as well. 3 days and about 2.5 hard trying to get this app to work without any help from the developer. I am done with these apps...

Very helpful. This app’s been very helpful! It’s simple enough to use, and has a pretty nice UI. In particular, I’ve found that it works great for managing each of my aquariums, and it even helped me get out of an issue before it even started. Great app, would recommend.

Love it. I heard about this app thru Melev’s Reef YouTube channel and I have been using it, loving it, and recommending it ever since. Best way to say goodbye to the composition books.

Excellent customer service!. Quick responses to emails and communications.

Glitch. This app has not been working for me for three months. Every time I click on it it just glitches out and nothing happens.

Great customer service. I’ve used this app for some time now, and it’s constantly improving, making it easier to use with each upgrade. I had some issues with the upgrade this last time. I contacted them, and they responded right away. It didn’t take them long to fix it, and now everything works fine and better!

Crashes. Crashes all the time!

Not working. Partner with eXact iDip, not east to get to work together, sensafe helped on their end, but now I’m waiting on ReefTrace. Their website support form is broken, Sensafe sent me their email address so I could contact them. It would be nice if there were instructions. Looking a waste of money, first you have to purchase the app then if you want it to work with a controller you’ll have to purchase a yearly subscription. So far I’m thinking... refund

Good. Not great.. Reef Trace works well enough and stores my data to the cloud. However, it seems to take longer than it should to enter and change information. + The quicklog feature is an improvement - Test kit type is not saved and must be entered for each test log for every test - Switching between tank log profiles takes four clicks - No immediate indication as to which profile is current. You have to open the menu to see which tank is currently loaded - No import or export option

Needs lots of improvement. Rip off of Reef community at 3.99. Needs lots of improvements.

App keeps crashing and I have all updates. Don’t waste your money and time logging parameters get a different app. Want my money back app just crashes every time I open it

Ripped me off. I tried to get a refund, because this app is not a asset. It’s very complicated and takes lots of time to log the parameters. It’s quicker to just manually write on a peace of paper. But anyways I was just very briefly on the app and I deleted it of my phone . And I was denied a refund 2 times . Completely ripped me off SMH

Not worth the money!!!. Nothing about this app is good!!!

Give it a shot. The instructions for running various tests are great! I really like that there are color samples to help you compare your results. LFS finder is great too. Setting a date range to view your tests isn’t quite as intuitive as it might ought to be. Hoping the app will continue to develop overtime with additional features.

Not for newbies to the hobby. Im pretty tech savvy but I could not comprehend this app. I dont like the fact that you have to use certain products. I already have a bunch of useful products so Im just going to use this other app thats customized to the product brnd tht you use.

Quick log. Easy 5 star rating with the quick log feature. This is the easiest app to use and track my data. I have apex and still choose this over their app to log and track my elements.

Was good at one point. I've had this app for a couple years. The original version was great, but the constant reworks and updates to the app are not. Maybe I'm getting old but each update is more confusing than the last, and more expensive. I'm going back to pen and paper. Unsubscribed.

Awesome app, great features easy to use!. I love the ability to look up stuff through critter ID in the app. Doesn’t just take you to the web browsers. Definitely worth the money for keeping your reef on track.

Best app. I use it for work for multiple tanks and even at home great app to see how consistent your water parameters are! It’s awesome

Terrible support. Every time they make an update to this app, they break several of the features. I have tried contacting them via Facebook , Their email address, and through their website. They have not responded to any of them. In fact, their email shows as “undeliverable”. All of my data is tied up in this app and I cannot access it until they fix it. Very frustrating. Used to be a good app, but not anymore.

First impression. I just downloaded this and tried my first test, ammonia from Salifert. The linked video in the test section is wrong, you should check it, it shows Melev’s reef saying he should get more tests (?). The instructions for the Salifert ammonia kit are for the NH4 kit, I have the NH3 which has different instructions. Maybe you could specify this because it might be confusing, all online stores sell the NH3 kit as standard ammonia test. I will continue trying it out and report back.

Lots of potential. Good app so far. I have a apex already so I use that for my monitoring and keeping track of my levels. The market place seems pretty cool although I can't seem to figure out how to post items on it yet. Also like the LFS finder.

Keeps Crashing. I’m on the latest iPhone with latest software and just downloaded the app today.. I’m setting it up and every time I go to add a new parameter field the Ap crashes. Gonna have to ask for a refund

Pretty good overall, little room for efficiency gains.. I’ve been using the app for a while, very shortly after the initial release, and like it overall. The only suggestion I can offer is that it would be helpful if the app would retain test kit selections to save a few clicks.

This App surprised me!. I have a customer that couldn’t afford a controller; I reviewed multiple Apps but all fell short on the experience and usability this one offers. I’m able to access my customer account, and see the heartbeat of their tank. I highly recommend it for all users. Really like the LFS Finder; It would be great if you guys work on improving the Dosing Reminders. Great work!

Advice. Good App for recording Aquarium parameters. How about adding advice to make changes to water.

Great idea data storage needs serious improvement. I’ve sadly stopped using this app. It was great to store my testing history at first but for the last 7 months nothing I save stays more than a few days. I’ve lost all historical data and I wish I could just get my money back.

Not worth it. Can’t even change dates on my iPhone XR due to a bug. Waste of money. Also, I thought the dosing and maintenance features would be a little more developed than a note system.

Very useful app, needs FAQ. I’ve been using this app for 18+ months. I really like being able to compare values across months of tests on the graphs. I’ve figured out how to change dates and expand the graphs, more or less by trial and error as the FAQ for the app isn’t extensive. So far I haven’t lost a single piece of data covering my reef tanks or my freshwater tanks. My only complaint is the update that broke writing notes, but that seems to be fixed.

Good idea no customer support. When I got the app it would only measure calcium. All the other parameters came out as no log. I contacted the app developer on the same day no response. 3 days latter I sent an email through Instagram. 4 days have gone buy still no response.

App keeps crashing. I just updated reef trace on my iPhone and I test putting in which test kit I used it won’t let me because when I try it kicks me out hopefully someone puts out and update out soon

reminder and note. reminder item and note item has problems i set reminders but i dont know why not active and doesn't have alarm for it and when i removed last reminders they are exist on reminder list after delete !!! i think this nice app need update for this problems and really i waiting for it and i should say for analyze parameters are best and i like ReefTrace design 😉😉😉

Super love this App!. I love this app!! A friend of mine recommended the app, and I’m so happy I got it. I specially like how I can log all my data and always have it available for future reference! I feel that I have better control of my tank, without having a controller. Now during Covid it’s been a perfect way to pass the time!

Nice little tracker, but needs some improvements. Looks like the deletion of an entry does not work, tried deleting an entry multiple times, but no success. (Update: need to terminate the app and relaunch to get the update) Cannot change the date format to DD/MM/YYYY, a bit confusing when you are used to a different format. Hopefully these get implemented/fixed.

Disappointed. Ok for perimeter tracking but lacking in miscellaneous log entries. This to me is not worth the price I paid as I have to go in between apps to have a complete log of my aquarium. Instead of other useless features like shopping, locating nearby stores, how about more useful features like a miscellaneous note keeping section.
