Norton 360 Security & VPN Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

Scammers. If I could give it sub-zero stars I would. So I guess Norton bought Lifelock, I had been a Lifelock customer for years, anyway so they merged and then put out the word that we would be oh so safe with our free gift of Norton 360 so I bought into it and boy was that a mistake. Yesterday Norton used 83% of my battery power. I called to complain, got some rigmarole about algorithms and how much the other apps are really using of that figure. Of 83%. No really Norton 360 is using it as it taps into all my other apps. I got the royal run around by the support staff. I spent 3 and a half hours on this issue and it still isn’t resolved to my satisfaction. Don’t be lured into this mess. There are better ways to secure your life. Ok, just to be clear, even if you accept Norton’s response to this review. Their product is the root cause of the excessive power drain. When I deleted the app, the remaining power after a day of use was at 78% verses having to plug my phone to charge with still 3 hours left on the clock. So make your own mind up. Try it out, I’m not saying it doesn’t work, but what use is a phone that is secure with no power to make a phone call.

NOT happy!!!!l. Hackers can get in and modify the registry. They can add keys in the registry to deem Norton 360 or any other anti-virus, ransomware, internet security, etc as a threat and disable or overwrite the rules, algorithms, or whatever else was meant to protect. They can even block or restrict you from your own computer or phone. No one ever knows when this can or will happen. However, Norton blamed me for allegedly giving out my password. Oops! that’s where they can avoid any responsibility of product failure. Maybe they should think out of the box and hire someone who can think like hackers. This way their software will ready to meet the challenge of these attacks. Get ahead and stay ahead of them! Hackers DO exist without the help of computer or phone owners. DON’T ever underestimate them.

Constantly changing with no notification prior to. I’ve never written a review on any software but this company never notifies you by email, text message, or any other communication, about upcoming changes to the services that they offer and that you paid for, And they take away some functionalities that you regionally purchased the app for. No notice, no replacement functionality for the ones they removed, And promises to call you back with the reference number and you never hear from him. I have been dealing with Symantec since Peter Norton the founder of the company started symantic and this is not the quality of customer service that I had come to expect based on the quality I received in the past. It could be the joining of LifeLock and Norton 360/symantic. Either way the service in the air or not what they used to be. I very well might be looking for a new app which provides a quality service that Symantec used to provide.

VPN Turned ON needed or not needed????!!!!!. I find it confusing and counterproductive, where the Web Protection alerts me that it is inactive so I activate it and the VPN is on, then I deactivate it and the VPN turns off. But then if I look at the VPN control, it tells me I’m on a secure network so the VPN doesn’t need to be turned on. So what’s the deal, why have 2 features where one says you are not protected and the other feature says you are protected at the same time. It makes me question if Norton 360 app is just a pretty screen and in the backend is just a shell. And then there is SECURE VPN, why the 2 apps? Is you the have the Norton 360 app do you need the SECURE VPN app or vice-versa? Please fix!! UPDATE: I received a response but didn’t answer the issue.. If Web Protection functions differently/independently than the VPN, then why does the VPN activate when Web Protection is turned on? Why the 2 tools? If it’s design to turn both on at the same time, it seems redundant to me. So if I don’t need the VPN or I need the VPN off, WebProtection functionality is not available and that is a problem in my book.

Not to helpful if you have a virus, still good. (got it for free tho) 😂. If your phone is infected with a virus there’s a high chance that this will do nothing because it’s a app and it works on a sandbox just like every other Apple Store app. (Which is the reason why you can’t get a virus from the Apple Store because it won’t be on your device). So if you click a link and get a virus somehow or by jailbreaking your phone which is the easiest way to get a virus then this won’t protect you at all and you need to hard restart your device because that virus will be on your main device while this antivirus will be in its own sandbox unable to do anything. But it does prevent you from getting to the point where you do get a virus because it detects malicious websites, texts and stuff like that. And also Norton is a very reliable antivirus brand and is very well-known so they wouldn’t steal any of your information. So it can be still worth it but if you do get a plan make sure you get a plan for your computer and phone because it works best on computer.

Did not work for me (sighs). Unfortunately it did not work for me the way I thought it would, these are the problems I had to endure during the time I used it: - Battery Drain: My phone is a new iPhone 8S Plus and the amount of battery drained before and after having this app is absurd. I could have my phone without charging under normal circumstances for up to (2) days, before installing the app, and after installing it, I had to charge it at least twice a day. Not good at all. - Data consumption: Most of the data consumption after installing this app (at least 70%) came from the app itself. I never had to use up to 5 Gb in one month before installing this app and I was very surprised and annoyed that it would be this way. My normal data usage would be up to 2Gb when really busy. Outrageous! - Internet Connection Issues: Main problem that forced me to uninstall the app was the connectivity issues when I was not connected to my home or work network. I always had to turn off the VPN connection to use the internet when on the road, which cancels out the purpose of the app. Overall, it works great on my laptop, I love it for its easy-to-use approach on my computer but for my phone it was not the case, unfortunately.

Subscription. My subscription has not showed in my purchases on my Apple account sense I added my daughters device to my account. I did however have it removed and reset passwords for security purposes. Even still my recipe purchases for Norton has still not returned to my account purchases. Yes, this is certainly concerning for me and would like to know why I’m not seeing it? Also, I’ve deleted the Norton apps and redownloaded. there is no proof of purchase and I still don’t feel completely satisfied in the overall help I’ve received from technical with my devices. I like Norton, but when I contact for help, I’d really appreciate a better attitude specifically one person in particular. He’s male and always seems as if he’s woke up on the wrong side of the bed no matter the time of day. Horrible attitude, period.

Iffy. It’s great having a VPN included with my subscription…but it’s not so great when apps fail to connect online. Like, it is as if my iPhone isn’t connected to the internet at all at times after installing this app. Sometimes I will notice settings in the app have been turned off randomly and for no reason at all, like Web Protection. I cannot fully depend on this app to work as expected. Otherwise, the efficiency of the product appears to be effective but it’s hard to tell if it’s even really doing anything at all because “Your Protection Report” shows no details none whatsoever about what was ‘scanned’ on my iPhone. It would be beneficial to know what networks were scanned, the names of those networks as well. Which websites were found to be malicious. But most importantly, it’s important to know what risks have been detected. (Come on Norton, really?) The app goes as far as notifying me that there is a risk detected but I have absolutely no information on what that risk might be. Oh…hold on a second, I just lost connection. Let me restart the Norton app again…

Usually good until it’s not. I have been using Norton 360 Deluxe for a couple years since it’s recommended for Apple products. The last month the VPN has been disconnecting, takes minutes to reconnect while shutting your WiFi connection off while trying to use my devices. Customer service is awful!! They wont give you a call back time it’s just in a day or 2, and they may or may not call. Their agents are incredibly rude, talk over you if you ask questions and to have a productive call ya have to be home with your devices, but again…THEY WONT GIVE A CALL BACK WINDOW to be ready for them…I am at their level 3 and the tech support just gets worse. Ugh…. I tried for 3 weeks to get issues corrected & failed, so I got a refund for the final year of service and cancelled my service 😡

iPhone XR users beware. I love Norton products... for my laptop. With that said, I was happy to find out I got free mobile protection from my laptop’s protection. I accidentally clicked on a link when I was trying to swipe away and thought immediately my phone was going to be infected with malware. So I downloaded all the Norton apps. Shortly after, my phone began to mess up. It was going slow, it would then freeze and restart on it’s own. It was doing this even without me having to touch it. I ended up resetting the phone and it was fine after. Redownloaded the Norton apps, and what do you know, the same thing happened! At first I thought that maybe the iOS i downloaded was causing it, because the issues started happening again immediately after that. So I reset my phone AGAIN. Took a few days before I remembered to download Norton, but when I did, the issues were back immediately. I almost reset once more, but then decided to try deleting all the Norton apps I had downloaded as a test, and imagine to my (not so) surprise when my phone began to magically work perfectly again. I don’t know if this is an iPhone XR issue, an Apple issue, or a Norton issue, but I won’t be downloading their mobile products anymore.

(Updated) iPhone 12 Pro Max having connectivity issues. I left a review a few days ago regarding my service, and now it’s gotten worse, I pay for Norton’s antivirus plus subscription which included Norton 360 with Life lock, I was told by the developers to delete and reinstall app to fix VPN connectivity issues and now I no longer have the VPN service when I open the app. Spoke to them about this and they said the VPN was not included in my subscription when I was able to use the service earlier today at no extra cost now they are trying to charge me more to be able to use the VPN again. What’s going on? Why can’t I use the vpn now? If I wouldn’t have deleted the app would have happened, I’ve been using the VPN since I bought the antivirus subscription and all of a sudden it’s not included? Please help me with this issue, I like the service but if this isn’t fixed Im cancelling my subscription.

Needs Major Help. Norton used to be highly rated and it was the best. I got prior subscription free w Xfinity then I decided to keep it. The free worked better. Issues I have seem to be recurrent with the other low rating reviews. Problems include communication with your own apps. The online doesn’t match up with mine. I don’t have active subscription most of time. The private secure vpn is a joke. If anything it causes red flags for certain websites. Looking at my iPhones privacy policy that apple added shows all the tracking apps and what they do. Norton 360 is among the names and it shows how many times the app collects your info etc & where it goes etc. i never expected my security app to be a security threat. Not sure but leaning strongly on deleting everything. Very disappointed in the way Norton has changed. All my issues are just a repeat of the most recent reviews as of 2022.

Norton made my phone not work. The second I left my home without internet I had this app downloaded and everything now a days security is a must and I always trust Norton on my computer and it normally always works so I did it for my iPhone. The second I left internet had the vpn protection on it shut my phone down. Tried to open while I drive and listen to Pandora it wouldn’t work. Tried to use my maps nothing. Most I could do was send a text the second I deleted this app my phone worked fantastic again so I give this app 1 star it is so annoying as it made my phone malfunction and not work I need to use my maps to see where I am going it would be nice to have music but with Norton app it all wouldn’t work. It would barely let me text. I attempted to turn vpn off and it kept auto turning it back on no matter how much I tried to turn it off. I am beyond annoyed we’ll see if I even remain a customer with Norton after that one for sure.

Norton Still Has Serious Problems. Norton, Please fix this app so we are protected & able to use our devices. Having internet security in today’s tech environment is crucial. The problem is I can not use my device unless I sign out then sign back in repeatedly. I currently have the fastest internet service in my area, 1 gbps or 1,000 Mbps. My iPhone can utilize an estimated 350 mbps. That is more than enough for me to surf the internet while I download a movie, download a complete O.S. Etc. The problem is my service acts worse than DSL because of this situation. Norton has tried to fix the problem but every attempt has been a complete failure. Every time I see there’s a new update I cross my fingers hoping they will correct the problem. Instead we are let down. Norton is supposed to be the Standard in internet security. I prefer Norton over other products in the industry. The Norton brand is taking a hit because they cannot perform like they have in the past by correcting problems effectively & efficiently. I know you can fix this problem if you put enough of your top assets on it. At this point you have to do something. I will be happy to edit my review once the situation is handled.

Phone freeze and auto restart. Used this APP for over 4 months. Initially worked fine without any issues. Started getting message on iPhone that my data have not been backed up to the cloud in two weeks. Manually started trying to backup to cloud. Would not backup. Phone started freezing and restarting by itself. Internet started to be slow when connecting using WiFi but was faster when using cellular service. Received backup error stating my internet speed was too slow for backup. Have 2 other iPhones and 3 iPads backing up fine using the same internet connection without any problems. Contacted Apple and Sprint Support for assistances. No luck in resolving issue. Started deleting all APPs to pinpoint if the freezing and restarting was an APP issue. Sure enough, after deleting the Norton Security APP, backup to the cloud, freezing and restarting is not an issue anymore.

Doesn’t Protect Your iPhone. Truthfully, this app really doesn’t do much of anything to protect your iPhone. It’s WiFi security and device security options are fairly worthless — basically just telling you if you’re on an unsecured network or if your IOS is not up to date — things you can easily determine on your own. The SMS and secure calendar are present but don’t provide much value. The only beneficial feature is the internet security, however it has a HUGE drawback. The internet security feature will only work through a VPN connection AND will not operate as a VPN. If you have another VPN provider on your iPhone or you use Norton’s VPN (for an additional cost), you will not be able to run the VPN concurrently with the Internet Security feature. Basically, you are forced to choose between using a VPN and using the internet security feature. I swear by my VPN and I wish I knew that I would not be able to use it at the same time as internet security. Ultimately, the app is fine but for the hefty price they charge, they really don’t provide any real value if you already using a VPN provider.

Unreliable. I subscribed to this for some time but, when I was having trouble streaming Netflix, it began producing messages that my network had been compromised and prompted me to turn on my VPN, which I did. Later, It wanted me to produce a password and gave me a (temporary) password. Since both Jill and I had begun receiving obviously scam messages that our Norton application was expired or that we were being charged $359?? For their service, I became very suspicious. That, coupled with Norton’s failure to notify us of the scam, prompted me to delete the application. After all, I subscribed to Norton to protect myself from scams, yet I was never notified! Also, Norton will work only in portrait mode on I iPad. Since I use my iPad with my keyboard for every other application, and must remove the iPad from my floating keyboard each time I access Norton, it proved to be a constant irritation.

It should deliver more clarity and more conclusive protection.. It often happens that a warning shows up saying I shouldn’t visit site “A” because it’s unsafe. Problem is, I am not on site ‘A’ and did nothing to go to site ‘A’. So.. what am I supposed to do? To make it worse, this warning pops up in the middle of reading something on a site, minutes after I get to it. I have no clue whar is the app talking about and which one is the contaminated site, as I may have multiple tabs in a browser and multiple apps open at that time. And none of them is called ‘A’. Neither did I get to any looking for any ‘A’. Why not just block access to the ‘A’ and tell the user what site or app they were visiting contains the suspicious ‘A’, oferring the possibility for the user to unlock access to ‘A’ if they chose to do so, despite the warning?

There’s a huge problem. So I’ll keep it brief and you all can do the further research. The app is pretty cool as far as a vpn, password managing, tracking protection, etc. Yet, there is a whole different type of hacking that I don’t think any app can protect your phone from is vibrational frequencies where an inaudible sound to the human ears can be directed at your phone and as long as your phone is against a solid object, a hacker can gain access to your phone as if you picked it up and put in your passcode. Think of it as a computer telling another computer to let it gain access to it without needing to go through a security measure but it’s all sound that your microphone will pick up. Another thing is that if you ever plug your phone up into a wall outlet and you’re using a data cable instead of just a straight up power cable to charge your phone, a hacker can access your phone in that manner as well. If you don’t believe me, just look it up. I’ve been dealing with electronic harassment for 16 months now.

Total shut down. I initially gave this app a 5 star rating. Loved it and it worked well for several months. Then one day my iPhone Xr started shutting down on it’s own. It would be on the table next to my chair and the screen would go black and it had powered down, just as if I had turned it off myself. This has happened numerous times... overnight, while I was using it or when it was just sitting there doing nothing. I deleted the app and reloaded it. The problem stopped for a few days, then “out of the blue” it started powering down by itself again. It started out a couple times a day for a day or two, but it steadily got to be more often...up to several times a day, even while I was using it!...texting, phone call and just about anything else. I have deleted the app again and my phone is now working as it should... I will not reload the app unless this issue is resolved and I hope it is, because, except for the shutting down, I love the safety of the app.

Story time. I’ve had the 360 mobile security for a year and everything worked perfectly! Well…that was until my friend said I didn’t have a vpn even tho I saw one showing at the top of the screen. His vpn could change locations and therefore he thought I didn’t have one. I called Norton and they also insisted I didn’t have one. I asked why does a vpn show at the top of my screen then? They replied, I don’t know, you don’t have one with the mobile security and you need to upgrade to the Delux. So I did. This is where all my issues started. After upgrading to Deluxe, my WiFi would turn off when my phone was locked. Very annoying! I’d also get an sms message instead of my imsg because the internet is always turning off! Sometimes I’d get both in one message. I decided I no longer wanted the Delux because of these issues. Called Norton, they kindly gave me a refund and downgraded back to the 360 mobile security. That also took a bit, the app kept telling me that I still had the 360 Delux and it still turned off my WiFi! Norton said they canceled my subscription. Well, Delux kept hanging around! Called again, finally someone listened and they went and once again, deleted the Delux the proper way finally! I got back my regular mobile security and everything is back to normal thank god! I no longer have my WiFi turned off while in locked mode. So if anyone has those same issues and has the delux, there’s the solution, get rid of it. All is good now.

Crap app...makes you pay again to open.. Paid $200 for a year of Norton 360 with Lifelock. Supposed to protect up to 10 devices. But surprise, surprise...only has installed on 4 of 8 devices attempted. This suite is completely incompatible with Fire tablets and apparently the brand new latest model iPads. Downloaded this app, installed it and then went to open it. You must sign in with your subscription plan credentials or the app won’t work without payment. I have already paid $200 for a year of protection and guess what...the app won’t recognize my credentials. It results in a “Server Error” every time. I can go through Safari and log on to the same sign in page perfectly fine on this iPad. But for some reason the app has issues. Unsurprisingly, you CAN pay for a new subscription with no problems. However, linking to pre-existing subscription seems to not work. What is worse is that in My Norton account it shows this device has been activated despite the fact that I have NOT ONCE been able to log in and use it. It is locked and unusable despite the fact that it is paid for and apparently “activated” on this device. Starting to believe this is scamware. To add insult to injury, the Lifelock feature requires an additional $129 to monitor my spouse. Nowhere was this made obvious during signup or setup. “Up to 10 devices” was plastered everywhere, though. My advice to you is RUN from this app and this horrible company. It is absolute crap.

VPN keeps turning on automatically. After the latest update, Norton VPN keeps turning on automatically, even though I have it off in the app. I have to go to iPhone settings->VPN and turn it off, and also turn off connect on demand. 20 minutes later Norton VPN turns itself on automatically. I go to iPhone settings and see that connect on demand is back on, even though I had turned it off. I turn it off, and then 20 minutes later It automatically connects again to VPN. This is so annoying and it’s been happening all week. Per your suggestion, I deleted and reinstalled the app. It didn’t help. As with the other recent review by another user, it seems that Safe Web keeps turning on automatically, which in turns activates the VPN. The only solution seems to be is to manually delete the Norton VPN configurations when I’m done using VPN each time. Not an ideal solution.

Vpn UGH!!. I’ve used norton for years. Have it on 4 computers. Use it on my iPhone XS. Unfortunately I can NOT use the vpn on my iPhone. This started August 6. That was last backup that happened & then my phone would freeze & reboot randomly several times per day. I didn’t realize it was the Norton vpn. At first. I could not get a back up to occur. It would begin processing & then reboot with NO backup. Only after trying all trouble shooting (reset network settings, soft reset, all the Apple “tricks” - finally August 14 I did a factory reset on my phone which meant I lost Aug 6-14 data on my phone. So since August 15 (when the reset & restore finally finished - yes I live in a rural area - slow internet ), I thought I was fine. Turned vpn back on yesterday (Aug 18) - and the crap started again last night when my backup was attempting. This morning I deleted Norton vpn - and rebooted my phone - and it is operating as it should. Really wanted to use Norton vpn on my phone but can’t Different subject - I bought Norton Core couple years ago. Finally had to stop using. The router made our slow country internet even slower

iOS app problems last few months. I have been a Norton user for decades and use Norton 360 with LifeLock on all my devices and have been overall very pleased with the product. After using the Norton Password manager for the past few years with very limited problems, the past few months I have seen repeated issues primarily with the iOS app. It signs me out, and after signing back into the Norton account and then using 2-step Authenticator App, once I enter my Vault password, I will get a repeated “Unable to communicate with the server. Please try again”. Once I get this message, there is no work through regardless of how many attempts. If I hit “cancel”, it takes me through the whole sign in process again and then will hit the same error message. Only time leaving it alone and trying later will sometimes remedy this issue. I have even had a few times where I can’t sign into my vault through the browser extension, but that usually does get me in. Fortunately I also use Apple Key for most passwords to fall back on, otherwise Norton would have me locked out of all my accounts until it decides to work again. Not sure what is going on, but this is only the past 2-3 months, but at some point becomes a critical failure if Norton can’t remedy whatever’s is going on if we are to rely on the Password Manager to secure our access to all of our accounts. I hope this issue is resolved very soon, because the product up to this point has been wonderful.

Fraudulent dealings!!!. I signed up for the free trial (10 day) offered by this app and in the middle of the free trial I attempted multiple times to cancel because the app is not as promised or advertised so I just didn’t want it any longer. After getting the runaround numerous times my free trial ended (today, the 10th day) and I was charged $50. After a long drawn out argument with customer support of Norton, they denied me being a customer, they denied the charge happened, I was able to provide proof….. they then told me that absolutely no problem my money back guarantee is part of the contract, but when they saw an opportunity because I purchased the subscription through my Apple store, they will not be refunding my money. I told them that that was nowhere in my contract, that it had to be bought specifically from Norton and customer support agreed that that’s not in the contract, yet had no reply for clearly being caught in fraudulent activities!! Apple and PayPal both have started investigating Norton for fraudulent activities as I’ve been able to prove that Norton is now outside of contractual rules and not adhering to their supposed “60 day moneyback guarantee“. Customer’s beware!!!! Big name, big thieves!!!!

Customer Service is worthless!. I was going on my second year of service with Norton. Didn’t have any issues until I changed my phone number. I couldn’t access my account. Contacted customer service and they said I would have to set up a new account because of the two factor authentication (?). Anyway, I asked why can’t they just change it to my new phone number. They said they can’t do that. Never received an answer as to why. I’m very frustrated. Asked them for a phone number. After a few tries of asking for a phone number to talk to someone, they finally gave it to me and said the answer would remain the same, no refund and I would have to set up a new account. As a customer, I am supposed to trust these guys? Absolutely NOT! I will take my business elsewhere. If I could give negative stars, it would. Never seen a customer service like this. I would caution people before using this company. Ultimately, it’s your decision.

Disappointed. UPDATE: After a couple of hours, I reactivated the “online” function of the app, and it seems to be humming along with no appreciable delays or issues. I will up my rating from two to three stars now, and report on its long-term performance after about a month. When I attempted to browse the web, it not only froze, there were no alerts or notifications as to the reason. I deactivated the VPN (web browsing), so I could access the internet. Now it tells me I am not being protected when I am on the web. It makes some sense. With the function on I cannot use the internet. No chance of running into a malicious site. If that’s the choice, I’ll take my chances and keep it turned off.

Just awful..So disappointing. I’ve had the Norton Deluxe 360 with lifelock identity theft for over a year despite the flimsy VPN and lack of detailed reports you’re able to generate about what ads or websites have been blocked. You kind of just have to take the apps word that it’s doing it’s job without any backup documentation. Now all of a sudden I can’t log into the lifelock identity app. I contacted Customer service and was told I don’t have a subscription for lifelock although it’s LISTED AS AN ACTIVE/CURRENT SERVICE when I log into my 360 account. I paid $105 for what’s turning into the the equivalent of a digital paper weight. Snake mittens might be more useful. Between the laughable interactions I’ve had with customer service when I’ve sincerely needed help, getting malware on my PC bc the product didn’t detect it (I’m aware there isn’t a program that can detect all threats) and now being told I didn’t purchase the service I’m over it. I contacted Apple support and requested a refund, even if it’s just a partial one. I’m severely disappointed in this company and their lack of support and their lazy product.

Wasted $100 -terrible customer service. Purchased a plan on each one of 2 phones $49 each. Paid through apple app store. Upon set up, the app offers the option to use a different email to set up account (different from apple ID). I did so and the account will not link the payment to this account. Didn’t notice right away because this is only required for specific features so during the trial I thought it was good to go. When I noticed I called costumer service, spent almost 45 mins on the phone with someone who had no idea how to fix the issue. I would love to speak to someone who would be able link the payments to the accounts but otherwise having my money back would be fair as I am not getting the service I paid for. I’m a a loss bc customer service was no help and they refused to escalate to someone else who may be able to better assist-(actually made it worse by telling me to uninstall/reinstall the app and now NO features work). If you plan to purchase, go for the cheaper option and make sure ALL the features are available and that you are signed in.

Still bad. Ongoing problem. Identity section says Setup Required, even though it’s been setup numerous times. Logon fails with Unable to complete your enrollment. Whatever that means. This has been going on since I started using this product. Calling the help desk is useless. They tell me to delete and reinstall the app. Done that numerous times. It lasts a few hours at most, then back to the usual problem. Latest update had no effect on this problem. I guess it’s not fixable. Very disappointing. I received an email asking me to contact dev via FB or Twitter. I don’t use either of those platforms. I went to the Norton support web site and opened a chat request, referencing the ticket number provided in the email. No response to my chat request. New problem. Device Security has to be repeatedly told to ignore IOS out of date issue. Previously I only had to hit Ignore once. Now I have to do it every day. Of course the original bug still exists. This app just keeps getting worse. July 2023: After working properly for several months, this problem is back again. Identity section says Setup Required, even though it’s been setup numerous times. If I tap that section, it says “Monitoring “. I’m confused.

Removed Norton 360 so cellular data will work. Apple iPhone 11 with IOS 14.4.2: I left on a 200 mile trip yesterday and Waze wouldn’t work. I depend on it but fortunately I was in wife’s vehicle and the navigation system worked. Every time I’d stop at a stoplight or rest stop I went through all the settings and still no Waze. Upon arrival at the motel I found that cellular data wasn’t working on any app. I went through every conceivable setting including Norton 360, even turning off the Norton app. Finally next morning while wife was driving I uninstalled Norton 360 and I had full use of cellular data again. I grudgingly bought Norton 360 when Comcast quit furnishing Norton Utilities even with their excessive fees. I guess it works ok on the desktop but I won’t be putting it back on my iPhone. Maybe I can find something better by the time the Norton 360 subscription expires.

Questionable worth. When NORTON updated their mobile security for iPhones they did no one any favors. The new version at noted by another reviewer often does not recognize my Wi-Fi network and says I am not connected when in fact I am. And the I have to disconnect and and reconnect in order for the Norton app to recognize the network. The other main problem, and this is even far more aggravating in my opinion is the amount of battery that this app use while running in the background. Upon checking I find that over a 10 day period the Norton app had taken up 32% of the battery usage. Over the next 10 days it had eaten up 36% of the battery usage. I got one have better things to do than continually worry about keeping my phone charged because an app is eating up all the battery life. I have removed the app from my phone. I might check at some point in the future to see if Norton has addressed and fixed these issues.

VPN Reset & other unusual resets. The VPN servers and services are a great, however upon noticing previous and new updates on the platform, the VPN connections lacks in constant connection. When IOS screen closes, while utilizing mobile device or on “sleep mode”. the VPN services or its designated location loses its connectivity and takes several attempts to reconnect to the nearest tower or signal. It is uncertain if it’s due to networking issues or performance. When using the app there has been constant resets on VPN, web security and other functions. The app would state “attention required”. Ever since the new update it has been acting strange like a cyber attack has been conducted on the platform. In the attempt of deleting the app and reinstalling it still acts in the same behavior. I reported several behaviors, web attacks, etc. contacted and reported the matter through Norton and ic3, granted this may be someone’s personal vindictiveness in order to obtain control in my devices or for their own personal amusement and entertainment. Since my neighborhood is surrounded by cyber crime enthusiasts, I’m in hopes this information would be useful to locate its digital footprint on the source, then again maybe it’s just a glitch.

Severely depletes battery.. This app is pointless. It’s like having a blanket while you sleep just for security. Useless. I got Norton 360 for my computer and it came with a license to use on 5 other devices. So I figured I’d try it out for my iPhone. Apple does a very good job at keeping your phone secure as it is. If you need Norton 360 to “save” you from certain websites than the issue isn’t the antivirus, it’s the user and his/her browsing habits. Been using an iPhone for over 10 years and never had any security issues before and don’t now. This app is like giving a child a blanket so he can sleep better. Total placebo. My iPhone 11 would have battery all day before this app. Now it’s dead before 6pm. This app is responsible for eating up 34% of my battery over the last 24 hours according to iOS. Don’t get this app. It’s not doing anything but draining your battery.

No reporting, just scare tactics. Norton 360 started giving me scary warning messages that my private Wi-Fi was compromised by a hacker. My firewall, router, VPN, showed no such issue. But getting this type of scary message from Norton 360 caused me to rebuild the router, change, passwords, change the security, only to have the same error message come up again from Norton 360, showing me that my Wi-Fi was hacked. Norton 360 gives you NO tools, reporting, or other means to find out where this message is coming from or what is going on. I went online and looked on the Internet, and found that this is a common issue with Norton 360, and often times people remove the application because of this erroneous error. Shame on Norton for giving scare tactics like this with no means to find out where the problem is originating. On top of that, good luck getting any help from Norton. They force you through this Q&A/troubleshooting site of theirs where you can look up what other people experienced or try to ask a question that gives you vague answers and doesn’t resolve anything. There is no such thing as customer support or a live person to help you with SERIOUS issues like this. Shame, shame shame

Don’t expect to get any service from Norton!!!. If I could give this app ZERO stars I would!!! I downloaded the app and it installed easily. It then went on to register the license and it couldn’t register it. After 2 different chat sessions with their support staff I finally decided to just uninstall the software. The second support chat was about what I was concerned about with using the software, well I didn’t have any concerns because it won’t work! Neither of the staff could understand that I downloaded the app from the AppStore and it was the 30 day free trial!!!!! Maybe Norton should invest in new support staff. I was throughly disgusted with this company by the time I got done with their garbage support chat sessions. I did want to try it out and see if it is as good as they say but after dealing with this crap support staff is making me think twice about this company. They obviously don’t do a background check on qualifications to get this job!!!!!!!!!!

CAREFUL!! New Version May Cause Battery Drain!. I’ve used Norton for years on all my desktops and laptops, and was thrilled to see mobile versions come out. And, for the first 2 years, it seemed to work great.. humming silently in the background, keeping me safe. However since the most recent update, my entire battery drains from full to 20% warnings within 2 hours (my brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max can last 2 days between charges). I opened Battery under Settings, and sure enough! 89% battery usage is Norton, 1-2% for every other app, even the hungry ones. Flipping over to activity, I get 34 HOURS “background tasks” for 2 minutes of screen time (when I disabled every switch possible.. no luck). Can’t seem to uninstall it, either.. only remove from the Home Screen, not from App Library. Tried disabling background updates and whatever else I could under Settings, for now. Hopefully a fix is released soon!! (Will update this review when my rating when it is..)

Why no notification the other app no longer worked?. So we upgraded our Norton plan specifically because we bought an iPad and wanted protection. Today I happen to tap on the icon and it basically says it doesn’t work anymore for iPad and to contact iOS for options. Chatting with norton rep he tells me to uninstall it and reinstall app —-with same name. After that he wants screenshot of error. A little late for that since he had me uninstall it. Why didn’t norton notify us the app was no longer useable for iPad mobile security? I thought they took my security a seriously as I do. Apparently not. So now I have a Strange looking norton app. Strange because I Can’t really tell what, if anything it’s doing because all it says is my home network is secure. The chat rep didn’t know either. Glad it’s not a norton network or I might not know for months. Is this app doing anything at all for my iPad?? How do I know? There’s nothing there to clue me in. So now I’m typing and sending more screen shots via email of what this currently looks like on my iPad and ...someday...maybe....Norton with fix this????

Broken App. The most recent update broke this app. It was working fine for the past few months when I first started using it but the latest update made it unusable. It works fine on WiFi, but completely blocks connectivity on cellular/LTE. It’s strange because it blocks all data access. Not even apps work that require a call out to the network. I checked multiple popular apps and they all fail now. I think I narrowed it down to the “web protection” setting in the Norton app. When on, it works fine on WiFi but blocks all access on cellular. As soon as I turn it off, all apps work fine again. I have to stop using this app completely on all iOS devices until Norton fixes this. Aside from the extreme inconvenience, I am very concerned for my safety if I cannot use my phone in an emergency without manually turned off the Norton app first. Why am I paying a year subscription for this again?? Are we getting refunds or an extension on our subscription?

This app & its tech support are crap. A few weeks ago, I submitted here that my 360 application kept circling and the identity field requires set up - even though it was and is already set up. I got referred to Facebook chat to resolve the issue. Rajan kept giving bad solution after bad solution, delete the app, delete another app. Download the app again, download the other app again. Then Rajan told me to update my dark web and privacy settings on the main Norton website. All the same info is there that I input before the problems with the 360 app started. I even got a checkmark stating everything was updated. The 360 app still shows my Identity requires set up. Rajan then referred me to the global team telling me they’ll take remote access of my device - NOt GOING TO HAPPEN!!! I will be looking for better security solutions when this contract is up. Good bye Norton

This app does not support Apple IPad!. So I provided a review on why I was upset with Norton due to you cannot use the Norton Security on any IPad. A representative from Norton commented on my negative review suggesting that I contact Norton for further assistance. What I now realize is someone from Norton is being paid to lookout for negative reviews like mine so that they can respond that, “they apologize for the inconvenience and suggest that I contact them for further support”. Well I’m one of those suckers bc I did exactly that...I spoke to Norton Customer Support and was told that I can use “Norton” on Apple IPads, so I went ahead and reinstalled everything but shame on me bc I should have listened more carefully ....it will allow you to use the Norton VPN and Password Manager apps. However, when I began to open the security app, I was still blocked from using it. I called Norton again, was transferred to Norton IT who told me that I CANNOT use the Norton Security app on Apple IPads. She explained that IPad users already have a built in system for this purpose. I get that you do not want to antivirus programs on a device. However, how many of us IPad users accidentally download/stumble upon viruses, malware, spyware that somehow has corrupted something on your IPad and never received notification about the bug. All I ever use is my IPad so this app is useless to me.

Have you noticed your battery dying faster….. I liked the app (other than it trying to get me to get new things). HOWEVER I was surprised and disappointed to find that my battery was now draining due to it. I noticed my battery was starting to dive and didn’t know why. I went to the Battery page and was shocked to see that Norton was consuming about 25% or my battery and running for over 3 hours in the background. I tried turning off background refresh for it but it did nothing. In the end I just deleted since it’s almost a redundancy—I Can do VPN through the phone, and even when I loaded it it didn’t find anything. I would happily download again but not at that cost. Note to Norton, as I read over multiple reviews with the same issue of battery consumption—stop blaming the Apple algorithm and look for a solution. Even IF Norton is using less than the percentage it says, Norton still is the catalyst for the battery draining.

Does Not Work and Crashes iPhone 8. Shortly after installing this app and the Secure VPN app, I began encountering difficulties accessing the internet from any Wi-Fi spot. (I am currently based in Turkey.) As I pay a great deal for the anti-virus/VPN bundle for my PC, I was reluctant to give it up without a fight. Unfortunately, things only got worse and the last 2 weeks saw an escalation in my iPhone 8 mysteriously crashing and suddenly restarting on its own several times every hour, which negatively impacted my work. I finally relented and removed just the Secure VPN to test, but my mobile continued to crash and restart (though the episodes did decrease) and warnings of unsecured connections increased. I removed this app and replaced it with NordVPN and all connection issues, crashes, and restarts immediately ceased. As I now have to pay for another service to get the security necessary in these times, I will be evaluating other anti-virus programs for my PC (particularly since the Secure VPN has never worked there either). I should explain that I have had Norton services for many years and was very satisfied with its protection performance... while back home in the States. But as someone who travels extensively outside the States more and more, reliable security is non-negotiable, and I am disappointed to say goodbye to a service I trusted for so long.

I LUVED my NORTON 360 an VPN until I accidentally delete frum Homescr. Deleted from Home Screen I’ve tried everything To redwnload I bgt for yr! SCAM! Do not download!!. I downloaded this app over a month ago to look into it and see how much it cost. I didn’t pay for a subscription. I clicked through the app to look into it and put in my name, number, and email. Decided I didn’t want to pay for it and deleted the app. Never subscribed to ANYTHING. since then I’ve gotten SEVERAL emails saying my subscription to Norton is being charged to my account. I was confused and called the help line. I talked to a guy who was VERY rude and filled out a form to cancel on a website he sent me to. It’s been over a month and I got another email saying 210$ is being charged to me for automatically renewing my account. I called the number provided from the app again to talk to the help line. (I’ve checked several times and nothing has been taken from my account) I tried explaining what happened and asking why it has been telling me I’m being charged. The worker Daniel was trying to get me to go online to fill out the same form again even though I’ve already done it. He has called me 17 times within the last 30 minutes. Has been texting me. And left me several messages FROM DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS!! Don’t download this app. The helpline does not help at all. All they’re trying to do is take your money. They’re a scam.

The Best. Norton has protected our computers and phones for many years. Virus and threat removal, scans, customer service, technical support, threat department, settings, and everything else has been excellent. Monthly reports and other information easily available. I’ve tried others years ago and was not impressed. Norton has been there for us when needed and since they bought Lifelock they have built themselves into a powerhouse of a security company. It may be a bit expensive but in today’s world it’s better to be safe than sorry. This is my honest opinion. I am not an employee, investor, or paid by Norton or any other for this review.

VPN interferes with other app functions. I love using Norton on my computer, so I was excited to use the VPN on my phone. However, I noticed that two of my apps had issues for days when I started using it. My Photos app would no longer recognize faces, update my For You page, not show me the location of new photos I took. and Twitter would not let me view profiles. These issues persisted even when when VPN was off but still enabled. As soon as I disabled it completely, they began to work again. I’m sure that other apps had issues that I didn’t catch, too. I do like how the app notifies you when there is a new software update, but that’s about all I’m happy with. It’s nice as a mobile app to catch up on identity protection, too, but I prefer to catch up on my computer. If the VPN is going to keep blocking the essential functions of other apps, then what is the point?

Story time. So……….. I gave this five stars so people can see it deserves 1 and so…….…… when I started downloading this app, I was thinking, “ please don’t make me pay.” I was contemplating for seconds, which felt like hours, pondering if I had to pay a single cent. My sibling next to me filled with fear said, “you’re going to have to pay.” During that moment, I knew that one thing was going to happen. Like all greedy people replicating in this world, I knew that one thing and only one thing was about to happen. The moment it finished downloading, I opened the app, and one thing was awaiting my cynical eyes: a paying button. My sister and me were filled with terror in our eyes, and nobody will ever live to feel the pain my senses felt. Such a horrible tragedy. My poor heart felt something after years, and it was the harsh truth about life. PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SH—

It was good UNTIL.... I’ve had this on my phone ever since I bought my computer. It was good, until I started to receive emails about how my phone was hacked and a virus was put on my phone. Now I know these are just phishing scams, but ever since then I’ve had unknown people log in to my bank accounts, change my password and lock me out of my accounts. I’ve had random purchases for things I did not buy, I’ve had to change my credit cards twice, and have had no notification from Norton at all whatsoever. It continues to tell me that my phone is secure, my internet connection is secure, and that nothing is wrong. I’ve now have had to completely factory reset my phone to see if that works. I’m very unimpressed with Norton’s ability to catch these types of things and will not recommend them. My computer is also effected by a virus and will have to factory reset that as well. NOT VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW.

VPN not working. I got Norton to use for movie sites that have harmful pop ups and in the last two days it hasn’t been protecting my device from that so obviously I’ve stopped using the sites but that’s the only reason I got this subscription, honestly not sure if it’s worth it anymore. It used to completely stop pop ups from going further with loading until the last few days. Definitely frustrated

New update disappointing. Bought a new phone and transferred everything over from the old one. Updated the Norton 360 app and now my Wifi Security connection is greyed out. Followed advice from troubleshoot page (uninstalling & reinstalling) but it’s still greyed out. I also tried turning on and off the Airplane mode but nothing changed. VPN used to be stable but now keeps turning off too. Might have to go back to using my old phone that has no issues while Norton fixes this bug.

Decent but with compromises. The app itself is pretty good. It notifies you if your data had been compromised on the dark web. Scans and lets you know that a website may be suss. My only complaint is that it drains battery something shocking. I'll be using tiktok or facebook flat out and even still my top battery draining app is norton, not tiktok or facebook. I believe im getting considerably less battery life due to norton. Close to uninstalling.

It’s okay but…. The only complaint that I have is that when I have this turned on with my iPhone, Norton blocks me from the internet wifi & my phone data. When I turned it off, my phone suddenly was able to use the internet on wifi & my phone data… why? I want to know why Norton would block me from using the internet?! And why doesn’t it notify me or tell me how to get it back to “allowing” me to use the internet?!

Doesn’t explain the device warning. Doesn’t explain the device warning, when I downloaded the app it said device warning IOS needs updating. Once I updated, on the report in device security it’s still has 1 risk and won’t show me what it is? Was it the previous risk of iOS not being updated or is there still a risk? No point in having this if they say there is still a risk and won’t tell me what it is. All good if it’s just a reflection of the old risk. Answers please ????

Don't do it to yourself. Norton is horrible. My kids constantly come to me because their IPads don't function properly. Messenger kids won't work. I had trouble too so deleted off my phone but its still working in the back ground. I'm not tech savvy enough to fix Nortons effects but I wish I hadn't dropped the cash on a subscription with them. Have a good think about it and read some reviews before you download this. I wish I had!!!

Killing my phone. For the last week or so this app is taking 40% of my battery! I’m having to charge 2-3 times a day. What the heck? Edited after developer response: I read this, so I turned of the Web Protection to see what might be really draining the battery. And that would be nothing. Battery usage has returned to normal, so it looks like it IS something web protection is doing.

Does it scan for viruses or just scan websites?. Just installed and I’m a bit unsettled bc there seems to be no obvious way to scan the device for viruses? Will this app let me scan for viruses or does it just tell me when a website is dodgy? I don’t like not being able to set it up to go through my phone like I would on a computer and being able to watch it go through the files. It’s unclear to me whether the section that says no other risks detected on the device screen is referring to the device having been scanned or the device’s method of internet connection. I already have an encrypted browser installed so I really don’t need this if it’s just for web security

Could be better. This app is great for the safety aspect, my issue is when I open the app. It crashes instantly & only on the second time I open does it work. This has been happening for a few months now. Only complaint I’ve got about this app

Sales platform. I like Norton and find the functionality generally good. What I really don't like are the constant sales pitches for upgrades etc - particularly on the web version. Send me an email or whatever if you want to sell me an upgrade but don't integrate upselling into the actual tools. It's bordering on bloatware.

Odd faults. Using Norton on an iPhone XS Max (always using updated iOS) I find that Norton gets in the way of some other apps. Example: Twitter; comments on tweets don’t load. You have to remove Norton from the device and then the tweeted comments reappear. This is an annoying problem. It also interferes with some aspects of the App Store and iTunes Store. Removing the Norton app then allows full access and functionality to those apps. Please review.

10 years without problem but now can’t get help. I have only used Norton over the 10 years of using a computor and have never needed to contact or ask Norton for help. I am being flooded with unwanted advertising - explained it in writing several (7) times but each person I talk to acts like they have never had something like this before. I would recommend Norton 360 if you have no issues ever but otherwise STAY AWAY.

clunky but will need a bit of time to see how it goes. I don’t like how the apps don’t operate in iOS in landscape mode (I have an ipad pro with keyboard and rarely use it portrait mode). Also surprised it hasn’t scanned for viruses like my old virus software used to do?

Safe and secure. Love the app and it really gives you up to date monitoring. Particularly like the protection report. Deducted star as I have unfortunately had problems with Identity monitoring for months where I have to remove licence, remove app and then add again. This usually fixes identity set up required until now. Removed and added several times today and still not working. Identity monitoring has always been a problem and Norton tech rep said Norton are working on a fix. Patience!

VPN is blocking access to all apps. Had this app for about 16 months now and all was good until last week when the VPN started blocking access to all apps on my phone while I’m on data but working fine if I’m connected to Wi-Fi, if I turn off the VPN I have access to all my apps again on data, somebody please fix this problem or I will be unsubscribing!?!?

Norton 360 on iphone 14 pro max. I just updated Norton 360 to premium/advanced on my pc. I then tried several times to update the app on iphone, but it just keeps coming up with “unable”. Is there a reason for this?

No internet after IOS update. Was great until recent IOS update, since update will not allow access to internet/data. Took half a day and multiple resets of the phone to realise that it was this VPN that was stopping the data access to all apps on the phone. Have to turn it off when not on WIFI. Not worth the subscription until this is fixed!!!! It’s been a month now and no change

Needs a few improvements…. This app really needs a function to scan the device it’s installed on. The SMS filter doesn’t block all spam messages either, even when iMessage picks them out as dodgy. Overall a good app, but could be better. If the ability to scan a native device is added in future, I will raise the star rating.

Drains battery. I paid for a subscription and wish I hadn’t, I don’t think the app for iPhone is really that necessary as it tell you when your iPhone software needs updating (you can just ensure you have auto updates on) and protects you if using an unsecured wifi which is so rare it’s not funny. I’m either using my home wifi or my cellular data. It has some dark web monitoring which is good, but my details are already being monitored elsewhere. What made me finally delete is this app drains soooo much bettery from my relatively new iPhone 14 Pro, I needed to charge twice per day. What a waste of money

Vpn not working. I have used Norton360 almost a year now, I subscribed a plan for 3 devices, I only using it on 2, but it never works for the second one, vpn couldn’t work on both devices at the same time, this kind of situation happened for a year. Furthermore Vpn was not working all the time, I use vpn quite often especially on workdays, say more than 3 workdays per week couldn’t connect to vpn. This happened to me and my friends as well. Was quite disappointed might not renew in the future.

Orientation idiosyncrasy. So far, my experience with Norton has been pretty good but, why oh why, Norton, is the app stuck in portrait mode? This might be alright if you’re just using the tablet as is, but it’s a real pain if the tablet is attached to a folio with a keyboard. Fix that, and it’s 5 stars.

Good Security, Bad App. The app logs me out almost once a week for no reason I have to keep logging in all the time to make sure my phone is protected I’ve done all the steps and asked for help to fix the issue but it never does fix it. Other than the hassle of always having to log in it gives me great protection and the premium subscription covers every detail of security which is great

Don’t waist your money. From the moment I installed it my device started running slow and had issues with websites and opening apps. Contacted support and was told their program had nothing to do with the issues yet as soon as I removed the app all these issues stoped🤔. Not only that but the app doesn’t really do much, it indicated I had a threat on my device but did not say what it was or give any actions to fix it. It’s kind of a pointless app.

Pls help, Norton. I love Norton 360 ALOT and I use it all the time but recently my dads laptop broke and it was logged into his Norton account. We threw away the laptop and got a new one but we can’t work out how to remove his old laptop from the subscription so we can add his new laptop on the subscription can you please help? (Sorry this isn’t a detailed review we just really need help)

Can’t activate my licence. I bought licence for 10 devices - Norton 360 Premium and I can use it on 5 devices only. App doesn’t show me active licence (valid till May 2023). I tried to download and activate norton on other devices from the beginning, but it always failed, so I gave up. For now I really need to activate it, what can I do?

Is there backup or not?. I keep searching for an answer but can’t get anywhere. Does the mobile app provide backup or not? Sync with windows doesn’t seem robust.

VPN never 'Auto Connects' 'Connects On Demand'. DEFECTIVE App: VPN never "Auto Connects" nor "Connects On Demand", when (separate) Norton [In]Secure VPN App, countlessly, continually disconnects (as below); despite Norton 360 App VPN set to "Auto Connect" + "Connect On Demand" Norton 360 App VPN (if it were to connect) might also inflict similar defects, to (separate) Norton [In]Secure VPN App, as follows. Defective (separate) Norton [In]Secure VPN App countlessly, continually, randomly, suddenly, without warning, or notification, "signs out", entirely removes its VPN configuration from device; user must continually: • constantly manually check, if VPN is on, or not; • (re) "sign in"; • (re) install VPN configuration; and • (re) turn-on VPN, (for many months, via many App update versions). Unless, until, Norton fix such unreliable malfunction, seems best not to pay premium cost, for Norton to inflict such countless, continual aggravation, on its paying customer users.

Now useless since iOS 14.3 update. Since iOS 14.3 update all access to internet is now disabled. All wifi access is disabled even from within apps and iPhone updates, Mail etc. iPhone 8 is now useless. No option but to disable Norton web protection. iPhone works as normal with Norton web disabled. I pay Norton 2 off subscription to cover all my computers, iPhones and iPads. Why pay expensive yearly subscriptions for useless Norton so now will re evaluate Norton

SMS security function. App seems easy enough to navigate and gives a sense of security however I’m not able to activate the sms security function despite following the steps to have it activated.. not sure if I’m doing something wrong (surely not I’ve done it multiple times and had already had it set up to filter unknown senders etc)

App restricts phone. Since I installed and paid for my Norton 360 on and off I would experience data usage difficulties even on wifi. I thought that surely it can’t be the app. It might be signal issues with the providers, but my partner has the same phone with no problems. Since removal and deletion of the app my phone is now back to normal no hassles what so ever to brows or open other apps using data. I will ask for my refund shortly.

Consistently Reliable. I have been using Norton products for years and presently have the 360 protection on my Windows laptop. The security product has consistently been up to its claims to protect its customers as completely as is possible. I have had no real problems and I am fully satisfied. So when I purchased my iPhone 7, I had no hesitation to add the iOS app. So far so good. I expect it to be as consistent as the company’s other products.

Blocks video calling. It was working well, but a recent update seems to block some facetime and whatsapp video calls. Initially I thought it was caused by changing my phone’s name… I then reregistered the phone, but it is still intermittently affected. Seems like Norton is blocking some of the server clusters used by these services. Had to uninstall in order to make a video call :-(

Excessive Product Advertising. I pay to use this application so why is there so much Spam pop up advertising to try to get me to upgrade this product to a different version. I pay to use this product to stop cookie tracking and for privacy so why the privacy invasion with this constant advertising no other paid product is so invasive and it just happens to be a security product. I also pay for Norton 360 to stop pop up advertising but this product itself does popup advertising. The advertising reduces my trust in this product.

Broke my iMessages. I love Norton, I swear by it and use it on every PC I own, the Password Manager is also incredible and I seriously recommend it above all the other managers out there (besides Apple’s native password manager, but it’s good to keep passwords spread out.) The reason I’m giving 2 stars is this app basically broke the iMessage function within my iPhone, I recently upgraded from my XR to a 12, and this app was one of the first I installed. Within days tho my ability to send iMessages to people became mute, and after hours of searching online and contacting Apple support they helped me narrow it down to this app, particularly the VPN feature included (the VPN is the selling point to me), which upsets me as I don’t feel anywhere near as safe online without the app on my phone, it truely is incredible, usually! I really hope someone from development sees this and can release a hot-fix or update to solve this, I miss having this app… :(

Good security application. The Norton Mobile Security application is good. It works, it protects you and your data when the VPN is on, and you now have it monitoring for the dangerous sides of the internet. There is an bug though, however, where it isn’t letting me sign in, but I can live with it.

I had no internet because or Norton. Not worth it at all. Since downloading the app and using it everyday, I noticed I wasn’t actually about to access my mobile internet. I was only able to use my wifi at home. Since deleting the app, my mobile internet now finally works. So basically I wasted $25 on nothing.. and on top of that, my daily credit from my service provider was wasted.

Rubbish update. This last update is a bit rubbish. For whatever reason, the VPN turns on automatically regardless of settings or the number of times I turn it off. It’s a major battery drain. In addition to other VPN performance issues, I’m not far off uninstalling. I don’t really care which app the power usage gets attributed to. The net result is that power consumption increases drastically, drawing the battery in a matter of hours when in the same circumstances but with the VPN turned off, the battery will last more than a day.

Freezing iPhone. I am so frustrated. Norton for IOS is causing my contacts to freeze, recent calls too and other apps. I reboot the phone. I try stopping the app - only latter works. I use another VPN - this is off as well so it's not the VPN I am using. I've had Norton on all of my devices for years but when my subscription is up I will look for something else for all devices. Right now it's another antivirus for my iPhone (an iPhone 11 with the latest IOS - 13.5)

Not enough detail. I added the Norton app on my iPhone after using it for my computer and having a spare licence to use (up to 5 device package). I expected the same amount of detail and control over scans as I do on the PC. I have little confidence that Norton is actually protecting my phone without knowing what it is searching and what malicious items they may have found. I am seemingly unable to get more details when it says they have found something. It would be great if there was way to know immediately, if you have any suspicions that you clicked on the wrong item, to find out what to do to secure yourself from malicious hackers.

Norton 360 VPN (3-Stars only). Nice to have a VPN on my iPhone (you get this as part of Norton 360) - HOWEVER .. I also get daily Kernel Panics on my MacBook Pro which Norton hasn’t been able to fix for 5-months (check the Norton Community to see how bad this is). I am using Norton 360 for now on my iPhone and Windows PC’s but am forced to use a competitors AV on my Mac’s (so I’ve actually had to pay TWICE to protect my Mac’s). I may not renew with Norton in December this year because of this issue which is why this review has only 3 Stars.

Not working. The app is not working on my iPhone X since the app updated a couple of days ago. When I tap on it the screen goes black then throws me back to my home screen. The is the first problem I’ve had. PS I’ve since deleted and reinstalled the app, signed back in, and it seems to be working now.

Stops all internet access on my mobile.. This app seems to be blocking all others from working including my Covid 19 check in apps and my Prestart app I need to use for work purposes. Basically stops anything that needs Internet. The only way I can use these apps is by turning off the web protection. So basically I’m not getting any protection at all. Kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing this app in the first place. So this app has just recently been updated , 1 day ago. Reading through the reviews, it seems nothing has been done to fix the above issue that many others customers seem to be having .

Thankful. I’m so glad to have Norton look after my security , as I’m not too tech savvy , I have never had a problem , and the subscription is affordable. It’s been more than 10 years. and I value their service. All my devices are covered too.

Bit of an issue. I downloaded this app and paid for the three device package. I was able to sign in on two devices. However, for the third, even though the internet is working on the device, I keep getting a connection error when trying to sign in.

App makes my phone slow and freeze. This app was installed on both my iPad and 2 iPhones. All 3 had issues once his app was installed. They all would randomly shut my phone off and freeze the screen so that I couldn’t do anything but wait for it to work again. Once I deleted this app on all 3 devices, they seated to work again. Please fix 5his issue because I paid $90 for VPN and can’t use it

Excellent App & A Must Buy Yearly Subscription With This App. Excellent App and It works Perfectly. It comes at a discounted price, together (i.e.: with your 5-10 device subscription) and with your yearly computer/Desktop subscription at the discounted price. I would highly recommend it, because of the extra security protection for your iPad/iPhone. Well done Norton. Great Job & Great Unbeatable Package Price.............!

Wrong purchase. I cannot find any contact me links. I have just purchased this and think it could be the wrong one. I am being trolled on my fb business page everything has been tried blocking doesn't work he just comes back. Have I brought the correct one or should it be VPN please advise

I already have a subscription Norton 😩. Trying to sign back into my account because I lost my job during this coronavirus thing and so now I need to use my phone to do lots of high risk transactions involving tax and super etc. I already have a subscription my phone says expires Jan 31st 2021, yet the app is trying to make me resubscribe.. really can’t afford new subscriptions while I’m unemployed and I need access to my old subscription desperately... 😫

Thank you Norton. Thank you Norton for making me feel safe. I have Norton 360 on my phone and laptop. Prior to having Norton I was constantly being hacked. Apple updates did nothing to help nor did Apple staff. Since having Norton 360 my phone no longer is freezing, over heating and going through battery. They have regular updates which makes me feel like they are on top of my security. Thank you. Wish I did it earlier.

Not compatible. I had to remove as it played up on my Apple.. making a lot of basic use difficult or impossible. Optus advised me to remove it and then my phone was good again. Can anyone tell me if they are using this in an Apple mobile?

Worst antivirus ever. Doesn’t function well on my iPhone X! It keep connecting for my home WiFi forever, and so my home WiFi never works when Norton is on! So annoying and So regret purchasing their antivirus software. Have to Deleted them in order to get my phone back to normal.

VPN. The VPN is very bothersome. It takes a long time to connect with no internet connection when connecting. Cancelling subscription.

Energy consumption. Before this was updated for energy consumption I didn’t have a problem. Now it’s sucking the life out of my iPad.

The updates for this App never work smoothly. I haven’t had this App for a long period of time, but it’s the only App that I’ve ever had that doesn’t update immediately, or smoothly. The updates appear to have issues uploading. Update: a few months later and still the same issues. It is less invasive than the McAfee version.

Not that good. Lots of options available for a Windows computer but, not so for a Mac. Off site storage isn’t available and the “Clean” feature always locks up and doesn’t do the clean you have selected.

Battery Life is Effected Noticeably by VPN. The app is a battery vacuum . Just check battery usage stats.

Blocks all wifi use. So every few hours my new iPhone this program totally halts everything while it scans the network or the device. Sometimes I have to restart to get past this or disconnect from wifi and run cellular only. This is very frustrating as the wifi network is the same every day. Why!

Not good yet. I found this app to be problematic with the newer I phones and their updates. It seems that it has issues letting my phone use sufficient wifi. Eg) with the app I was limited too 100mbs and with the app deleted I am now back to my normal speeds of 650 to 740’s Mbs Also I noted that this app bogs the phone down enough that when using multiple apps will cause the phone to shut off and restart. I deleted the app and found my phone no longer shut off using the same configuration of apps in the same order. This app would be good if it did not limit my phones capabilities. It drastically slows my I phone xs down. Maybe in the future this app will properly work with these phones and mesh correctly with the apps being used.

Battery drainer. In 3 hours, it drained my battery 60% plus slowed down my phone even looking for apps. I’m sure it works well but at the cost of data and battery life, I’ll find another product.

Scam artists. Don’t go with Norton. When your renewal is coming up, they charge you a full MONTH before it ACTUALLY comes due. Don’t go with this company. EDIT: In response to the developer answer, the “notification email” came the same day as the money was taken. It might as well have read “we’re taking your money right now and if you don’t like it, tough.”

Unbelievable. Norton 360 has used 27GB of my phones data If the App you say doesn’t hoard anything we see from the statistics in setting’s, where else did my Data go!??? I closely watch it and have disabled most app’s from using my data, only necessary one’s get it. So it’s very easy for me to see which app is CAUSING havoc in the DATA department This is the 2nd time the App has done this I had to pay a large bill last time too ordering more high speed data I love the protection aspect but something is DEFINITELY WRONG with the program

VPN keeps disconnecting. Since installing iPas os 16.1 the Norton 360 either doesn’t connect “on demand - and yes it is set for “on demand”. Also when manually set to connect it disconnects after some “connectivity”. How can I trust the VPN to be ON??? How do I need to set it up because it worked fine with IPad OS 15.7??

What is wrong with this?????. I renewed my subscription which I have been renewing for several years now. It is the 360 Norton premium. I went to support to ask a simple question of whether it download it automatically or if I had to download it manually. I have been run around 14 different ways and now I am here where it is trying to get me to download and try free and then get charged 1999 a year after my free trial. What the hell is going on? I just want to know if my renewed subscription automatically downloads or if I have to download it. Oh my god now I understand why I cancel this last time.

App ate ALL OF MY Cell DATA allowance - 5GB!. Within 10 days of installing this app, this app chewed through 4.9GB which is all of my cellular data! I have 10 days left until my next phone bill cycle so no data for me until then. I don’t even understand why it would need anywhere near that amount of data. Creeps me out! WHY IS THIS APP USING SO MUCH DATA??? I DO NOT appreciate Norton installing app with “send info back to Symantec” toggle on by default! I paid for this app for privacy. If I wanted to share my data, I would installed a free app. Instead, I chose to pay for this app so I wouldn’t have to give up privacy. Huge huge HUGE pet peeve of mine and it’s even more galling coming from a security/privacy app. The app tells me there is no available wifi network when my phone is connected to wifi. So the wifi protection feature doesn’t work. It makes my ability to use wifi hit or miss. NOT happy! I also resent that you default set auto-subscription renewal! Month later Update: For a week now, I couldn’t figure out why my cellular data wouldn’t work. I finally tried turning off your papa’s web protection and now I have access to my cell data. This app is TRASH!

Terrible!!. Terrible!! Keeps turning VPN off and on non stop. Disconnects WiFi. Had to delete APP as it had become a nuisance.

Norton 360 Scans stop phone activity dead>:(. Every time it scans everything freezes up into the scan ends. Do not get this if you do conference calls! Everything stops or slows to slower then a snails crawl when this thing scans! There is no way to pause of stop a scan once the app randomly decides it’s going to do one. Today it caused family issues because it froze up a live tv broadcast we were watching and we missed the end of the movie (a movie we can’t buy rent or download that was only available to be watched on live tv!). All because NORTON scans can’t be paused or cancelled until the show ended. Imagine what would happen if you we’re conference calling or Skyping for business and this happened? It happens every time it scans. There’s no way to predict when it will scan and no way to stop a scan or pause it! DO NOT GET if you do teleconferencing, Skyping, or any other important business on your phone and do not get if you watch live broadcasts (especially live tv with kids OR things like live sports broadcasts) this app WILL interfere and make your life hell if you use it and do any of those things. I have removed it because I am sick and tired of random scans freezing my internet use (today’s interference was the last straw. You try telling a 6 year old they can’t see the end of the movie because the antivirus froze the convection and it was live aired so you can’t just rewind press play or whatever. You can’t explain it to a kid. So I removed it so I never have bawling fussing kids screaming about a movie again). Norton you need a pause or stop scan feature. Unless you add it I’m never going to use your app again. Now Nevermind me but think about this What if a scan interrupted a conference call? A business meeting? Ir it just so happened a person who was hearing impaired was trying to call 911 with one of those talking fir you type what’s said thingys and the Norton 360 av starts scanning preventing it working? Not being able to pause or stop a scan or schedule it on your own terms is just the e your app is just the absolute worst and if I was asked I would suggest nobody use Norton 360 until you address this issue of scans freezing up all phone activities (and I suspect a stop/pause scan would be the easiest fix which is why I specifically mentioned it). Since you can’t review without a star I picked one but this should be a 0 star review because it caused me that much aggravation l.

Rubbish VPN. 360 flags my network as compromised, probably because it detects my work VPN. It then incessantly nags me to turn on the VPN, except that Norton's VPN server is 3 time zones away, resulting in a 75-97% performance hit. You can remove the VPN configs and turn off notifications, but then it nags you to install VPN configs. Norton needs to a) stop flagging VPN traffic as suspicious; b) allow flagging of secure networks as as trusted; and c) start offering a VPN server network that isn't a bad joke.

Didn’t work for me. I had a hacker on my phone and this app did nothing to alert or protect me.

Drains battery. I want to keep using Norton, but recent updates have started to drain my battery. It’s now using 40% of my battery life and I have to charge my phone multiple times daily. I’ve turned off some features but it doesn’t seem to help. They say the battery usage statistic is incorrect but since turning off the vpn, my battery lasts all day vs. 6 hrs at best before so 🤷‍♀️

What a scam. Impossible to contact anyone horrible nightmare UX

Disappointed. After renewing my subscription Norton failed to recognize and remove spyware and I had to get a free trial from another anti virus and it did the trick so now I’m going to have to burn the 40 bucks I spent on norton360 and get a subscription with the new anti virus … thanks norton

Cellular data usage. Norton support told me my iPhone cellular usage by Norton 360 was just the data that has been screened by Norton. My cell provider has confirmed my problem of Norton actually using the data my iPhone says it is :(

Poor response time. The app is really slow to scan and let other apps start. Wyze door lock is very slow to respond. It will not let the Ring app open on my iPhone 8.

Trouble to start. I did subscription for 14 day trial first. Not sure how to cancel it and it’s hard to find information. I tried to register with apple ID but it wouldn’t let me proceed. Can you provide me contact support email address so I can address this issue? I’ve spent too long on your website but I couldn’t find solution to my error messages.

Absolutely destroys battery life. This app runs so hard in the background it will kill your battery over 6-8 hours (overnight). This app uses more battery life then any other app on my phone. There is no explanation on why it requires so much battery life to operate

Major Battery drain. The battery drain on this app is ridiculous.

Slows down iPad. Norton vpn did not do this. But 360 slows down ipad internet performance dramatically.

Norton. Wonderful to have the complete protection

LifeLock. Continues to want to download LifeLock instead of Norton 360.

Works Brest but….. The app works great but will drain your battery. It is a huge draw on power.

Horrible.. Literally mad my phone unusable. Every time I went to check my phone it would scan internet security and device security( which is fine ) but would not change after 25 min - till however long until I reset my phone. Sometimes had to reset my phone 3 times. Last time this happened I tried talking to tech support who told me they didn’t have an app for iphone. After that the app worked perfectly for a while. Just today I had to delete it. I was trying to figure out why I couldn’t use the walmart app ever. Because Norton blocks it outright. Couldn’t check in to get my groceries or anything. What did I pay for ? Just an app blocker and phone blocker ? Security apps let you use your phone still. Not make it unusable

Unable to install the UPDATE to app. I continue to get this msg and the app does not get updated. I have been trying for the last 2 days. No sure what’s happening with Norton 360 app.

Regular product in general. Good product to protect, but I gave it 3 stars because when VPN is "On" internet speed decreased dramatically and became super slow both WiFi or LTE.

Drains the battery and problem with installing. Drains the battery. Battery is acting funny. I realized it after I installed Norton 360. This is a new iPhone 14. Hard to install. My family bought a Norton 360 -3 users. My daughter sent me an email link for activation. And it wants me to select and purchase new Norton plans. I don’t have a Norton account of my own. So we ended signing in her Norton account. Don’t see why I have to purchase a new Norton plan when my family purchased a Norton 360 -3 users. Don’t see why I have to sign into her Norton account in order to install Norton 360 onto my iPhone

Worst Customer Service/Retention Policies ever. If I could give them zero stars I would. Shady renewal practices. F Norton and I don’t mean forget Norton. They pester and trick you into auto renewal. You are constantly asked to turn on auto renewal even when you are clear you do not want to. It will even get turned on without your consent and charged via your CC. New customers are given a discount but existing customers get a huge rate hike. Great retention policy right??? Do not use renewal. Go on Amazon and buy a new key each time and you pay a fraction of the price. I’ve seen free programs that work as well. Nortons renewal scam is akin to advertisement for their own shady business practices.

Good, but drains battery. I’ve used it for 3 days and have noticed that it drains the battery really quick, my phone becomes really warm to the touch. Good product, but something needs to be done about the amount of power it uses.

Security. I’m happy to have the security this provides, but I’m trying to update the app and it won’t finish the process. Hmmm…..

Still will not connect. The VPN is constantly searching but will not connect. Seems like a waste when I pay so much for a subscription.

might have been good.. ran norton for a while for the VPN. seemed to work ok although having to tell emails to load content was a bit of a bother, albeit the cost of doing business. then i didn't need it and it wouldn't shut down. i shut it down - removed it from my ipad. if it can't get the little things right, do i trust it with the big issues? nope.

Not working as it should. It seems that the latest version has been causing some problem with wifi. Could not load anything with vpn on or off. Had to switch between wifi and mobile data frequently to figure out what was wrong with it. Problem solved after deleting the app. What a hassle. The same happened with wife’s phone.

Keeps disconnecting and scanning. I cannot reliably use the internet with this app. It keeps disconnecting from VPN and scans my phone for software updates all day (fyi: Apple does not release software updates every 10 minutes, which is how often the app searches for updates). If the app is deleted then downloaded again it helps for a small amount of time (a few hours), but it will start bugging again very soon.

Eating up battery. It now began to use up more than 60% of battery after recent update I am planning to uninstall this app

Battery chewing. Eats up the battery like crazy had to remove app to get past lunch time with battery.. look at the battery usage in the setti g and nortons the big user. Had to totally uninstall every thing on my wifes phone eats up battery so fast.

Like the service but it’s killing my phone. I found that my phone battery on my iPhone XR was not making it through the day, so figured it was time for a new phone. Took the plunge for an iPhone 14 but still not great battery life. Checking battery use on my phone showed Norton is using 43% of my battery resources. Norton needs to make it more efficient on power use !

Frustration. I’ve downloaded the app on my cell and payed the fee on internet.when i log in the app it keeps saying « no licence « so does the app really works??

Do NOT trust it’s firewall. Whether you set their firewall to connect on demand or manually stay on all the time, it randomly shuts itself off, and it stays off. This is not isolated to the latest version. This software just keeps getting buggier. Think about this for a moment: Norton 360 doesn’t scan for malware on iOS (there are no true malware scanners for iOS or iPadOS). Sure, it will tell me if there’s an iOS update, and it does it in a flashy way that makes it appear as though your iPhone is suddenly at severe risk, but my iPhone already alerts me about updates. So, where does that leave me? I use it for the VPN, and I can’t trust their (very slow) VPN, then what purpose does it serve? None.

UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE. I was just recently SUPREMELY HACKED & THIS WONDERFUL APP/COMPANY/ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE- QUITE LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE-ETERNALLY GRATEFUL -I’m IMPLORING TOU NOW-RIGHT NOW-THIS. ERY MOMENT-IF YOUVE BEEN HACKED-GET THIS APP-THANK YOU NORTON 360-12 STARS OUT OF FIVE-✌️🇨🇦

High battery drain. Look at your battery usage, you will see that Norton 360 used a lot your iPhone battery life when compared to all other apps you used. Norton must address this problem.

Vpn?. Does this actually encrypt the traffic and hide it from you isp spying on it? It says vpn... doesnt really tell you much about how it works.

VPN Function Needs Work. Based on what the app says, it should have a VPN function for mobile devices that should automatically turn on or off depending on the WiFi your mobile device is connected to. I’ve always needed to manually turn it on and off. It’s very much a part of the app that needs improvement. When the VPN doesn’t shut itself off automatically, it messes with your device’s connection to trusted networks like at home and can cause issues. Norton, please use this feedback as motivation to look into improving this feature.

Is this a scam?. -10⭐️Rating. If Ratings had negatives I would rate Norton products below 1 Star. I don’t usually write reviews but this is different now. I have used Norton Antivirus for over 20 years. Each time during my annual renewal there would be an added function to improve protection. Now it has gone to hundreds of dollars and yet I see you campaigning hard to sell drivers updates. After a scan you set it to go to sell more of your products using scare tactics…..(You have X Number of outdated drivers… Your PC is more likely to crash, freeze,……..) For what am I paying all that money if you have to create new problems to make more money out of your most loyal customers? Seriously, should I look elsewhere for my system protection? Your sale of 360 product upgrade was supposed to cover everything and anything that would be a threat to data security. Then you added Ultimate product still to pretend you are finally going to catch everything that targets consumers systems. Perhaps I should file a complaint with government authorities instead of complaining to you. I am definitely changing my product when it comes up for renewal.

Nice App!!. I’m currently running IOS 16.1.1.. And have a subscription to Norton 360 on my PC, Mobile Devices and my Laptops. What I would like to see in SECURITY is when a risk is assessed under DEVICE SECURITY that it list the App or Apps that is found that puts your devices at risk. JUST AS NORTON WOULD DO ON A PC.. Give the mobile user a comprehensive options within the App to Block and remove All known threats and ALL OF IT DATA like NORTON ERASER does so it wouldn’t harm your devices. Now It only tells you if a risk is detected but nothing else which leads to you the mobile user to try to figure out which App or Apps it is that is the culprit creating the security risks. This in itself can be a very tedious issue.

Confusing and unclear. Received an email making me aware that coverage mirroring PC coverage was available. Followed link to App Store. Page opened not on Norton Security, but on Norton Password Protector (!?!) Had to search to find Norton Mobile Security. My primary interest is in protection from email and malicious websites. It is not clear at all from the description if this is even a function of Norton mobile security. It seems to be designed for people sitting in Starbucks all day on Wi-Fi networks concerned about their Wi-Fi being hacked. This program needs to mirror the PC version and clarify the description of what it actually does. It also needs to open directly on the application and not five other Norton programs they would like to sell you. I thought Norton cleared up this kind of ambiguity several years back?

Version conflicting with old iPad mini 2015.. Apple support requests finding out when version of Norton to be released Compatible with iOS 12.5. Am running OS15 on New iPad Pro and 2018 IPad Pro. Data conversion issues following initial OS15 upgrade, Norton updated antivirus and VPN promptly. All resolved on those devices. Also updates on HP laptop, Norton antivirus and and VPN working fine on that device. Issue remains...may be Apple issue, need to have additional iOS update to iOS13...will contact useless chat support. All okay on other iPad devices, as long as on all 3 devices protected. Cannot find new mini only refurbished. Please advise how to locate older version per App Store instructions. Have 5 user license. Need to assure network protection. I am IT professional on Microsoft platforms. Family uses iPads for games.

Using my credit card without permission. How is it possible that norton knows the credit card on file in their system is no longer valid 2 while months prior to the automatic renewal date???? The only possible way that I can think of is that they attempted I charge something to it with the intent of immediately refunding the charge for the sole purpose of verifying it was still an active credit card. Not only did I feel pressured back when I bought the license to put my card k. File in order to retain access to the VPN software, but now they attempt to use it without my permission. Will never renew or purchase another Norton product again. Oh Yeah, and the 4 older extended family members I used to recommend your software to Will all be switching to new antivirus/ anti malware software as well. Never again Norton.

Do not buy. I purchased this program after using a previous VPN right about Christmas time I’ve had nothing but problems with this while I’m online I’m not gonna go into specifics I had somebody on the phone about an hour ago I told them when I tried to download stuff it would shut down it would not let me download anything with the VPN on. Let me remind anybody looking at this that is supposed to be a virtual private network nobody is supposed to see what you’re doing regardless good or bad so if they’re stopping me from downloading some thing that means they’re monitoring what I’m doing and he more then told me yes you cannot download from the certain places, LOL I paid for a VPN to use a VPN I will be going back to Nord Who by the way does not save your information or sell it as I’m sure Norton does, let’s face it they are the democratic party of security, definitely not on your side

Please read this before buying. Hi. I have a minimal online footprint. I thought I’d take it a step further and try this. Since buying this with all the ad blockers, life lock, mobile security, etc. I have had all my devices become so slow they aren’t efficient at even watching videos, much less work. Was given two separate notifications (through another service that I’ve been with for years and has been flawless) that my information was on the “dark web” shortly after joining Norton. As for credit monitoring; that is a free service with most banks and credit cards. Need to lock your credit; you can do that for free too. So what does this service do other than take our money? Who knows?

Sprint iphone users, read this if you are having the same issue.. I have been using my iphone x more than 2 years with sprint. Also, i have been using this app about the same as well. Until the last week, I did not have any issue with this app. But here is the thing. Since the last week I couldn't use the data from the Sprint. I thought the sprint was having an outage or something. I called them and tried to fix this issue multiple times with them. They tried to help me over to do some multiple tests, but they couldn't fix the problem. I went to the local store and asked them to take a look at it. Phone looks fine and everything looks flawless except getting the intenet through sprint data. Today somehow, I decided to sign off this app, but there isnt any option to turn it on or off. So, I just deleted the app. Guess what, now everything is fine. So, my guess was right, which was the norton was blocking my iphone to access the internet for some reason. If you are having the same issue , try to delete this app. I hope norton updates this issue and fix for the customers who already paid for an anual membership.

Very unhappy!. It seems every time I checked on my Norton with LifeLock, LifeLock had been turned off. I wanted the security of LifeLock, so wouldn’t have done it myself. Yesterday I got an alert from Norton that my personal information had been compromised and I needed to purchase something else from them. I was constantly being hounded by them saying I needed to get their registry cleaner. I already have one so would just delete. When I got the alert about my personal info being stolen and gave me the name of the company that stole it, I checked my Norton and sure enough the LifeLock was again turned off. I’ve used Norton for YEARS, but if I can’t trust them with my safety I’m shopping for a company I who can!!

Does it really work for ME!!. I’ve had Norton 360 1st for my Dell computer,( I no longer use it as much) I now have all APPLE products. I made a choice and decided to stay in the APPLE lane. I’ve heard, and read LIFELOCK is great, the best!! It’s difficult to understand why I’m having difficulty.. I have VPN, also. I am CONSTANTLY changing my passwordS to site that I have used before I installed LifeLock and VPN. I use strong passwords, I know I do!! So don’t tell me they are weak. I’ll go online to a site and denied bc of a password or is it the fact that I have VPN and the password is not recognized, so I have to change the PW and don’t have time for THAT!! Frustrating to say the least. I’m up for renewal in about 14 days give or take, and I’m ??? my renewal. With all that I’ve written the most I will get from LIFELOCK after they read this is contact IT. NEEDED to VENT

False Positive. This program has decided my own site and business of over 20 years was dangerous. Based on what I have no idea. My is scanned daily for any type of malicious activity of all types. It comes back clean EVERYDAY. So it prevented me from even logging into my own WordPress admin panel with bright red warning as to the dangerous nature of my website. How ridiculous. I’ve been in business for 21 years and it seems they declared it dangerous arbitrarily. I resent it and I now have to find out if it is doing this on other people’s browsers who visit my site. I will definitely make sure to find out how to deal with this stupidity and UN-intelligent application. This means they can do this to other perfectly fine websites due to some quirk in their application that some one is responsible for. And this is big. It can ruin someone’s business.

Hackers smart or STUPID ?. I have an iPhone , two Norton apps cell phone & VPN . I was in my phone when a hack vhappened, I thought my internet was having trouble. It affected my smart tv & iPad. I was in the Norton VPN app checking the status.. Oh it was all green with a big green check Mark in the circle... wooo-hooo! As a looked at the screen , a message from the hacker came in on the App.. the one that said all good , big green check mark Hack seems to be over so I check the status again on both Norton apps Green light on the cell app and VPN . I backup, and do factory reset. Now setting it back up , ( I’ve done that before , it goes quickly) well not this time I had black squares on my Home Screen STRUGGLING to become an App. So I check iCloud then mange iCloud data. It comes up , I scroll and see an app I KNOW FOR CERTAIN didn’t download, NORTON WHAT THE. @&%# HAPPENED? I click on it it hadn’t started loading yet I try to delete, it won’t on the third time it starts , I stopped the download. This app must come from the scum of the deepest dark web, it was NOWHERE to be found... The odds of me being on that screen to see it ..at that particular part of the download process . Now that’s a WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO !!!!! think I just won the IT lottery.. hacks happen sad to say! Who really needs a life?

Internet connection issue not fixed. Supposedly the internet connection issue when web protection is turned on is still existing with the latest version. And the chat support on your website was no help and waste of time. Went through 3 support people to chat and ended up with the issue not resolved and just telling me to turn off the web protection and when accessing the internet which defeats the whole purpose of having this software in the first place. So frustrating! Update: looks like it wasn’t just your problem. iOS 12.3.1, the latest os version fixed the problem.

I’ve about had it with this garage of an app. I downloaded this app, because I had heard several good things about it, only to discover that it’s garbage. I paid my year in full to put it on multiple devices. Every device that I’ve put it on now runs slower than dirt. I’m a music producer and the last thing I need is for Logic to time out while I’m mixing a song, which it does constantly. On my iPhone 12 Pro, it makes all apps load super slow, and doesn’t allow the phone to stay connected to the Internet. And once it does reconnect it takes 3 or 4 minutes to access. This has gotten ridiculous. If this new update doesn’t fix all of these issues, I will be canceling and getting my money back, and getting this crap off of my devices.

Kills battery and internet connections. Just deleted after six months of use. The nominal features make sense and at times provide benefits but the downsides are huge: 1. Always number one or two app in my battery history, for example 27% of the consumption today when it’s mostly a background app. I have a new (<4 months old) iPhone 14 Pro with latest iOS and Norton apps - have had to charge it more than once per day already 2. Delta’s free WiFi literally will no longer work aboard, even if I manually turn VPN off. After deleting the app, connects well. With the app even simple text web pages did not load much less any heavier use case 3. Irritating calendar alerts for appointments I created myself, with no way of ignoring or removing the incorrect security flag by Norton. No way to even report the problem

It Was Great Until It Wasn’t. At first, this app was completely stable and gave me a (perhaps illusory?) feeling of safety and security whenever I browsed the web on my phone. About a month ago, however, I started having problems with my phone losing its ability to connect to the web via WiFi. The WiFi indicator was still displayed and the phone appeared to be connected to my router, but I had no connection to the internet. Disconnecting from the router and reconnecting would temporarily resolve the issue, as did a number of other fixes I tried, but my phone would invariably lose its connection to the internet again within an hour or two. I initially blamed the reconditioned iPhone XS Max that I’d purchased about the same time, but after I returned that phone and purchased an iPhone 11 Pro Max, the issue returned shortly after I installed the security app. Removing the app and resetting my network settings eliminated the malfunction. It’s now been almost a week since I uninstalled the app and my phone remains trouble free. Hopefully, a future update will eliminate this problem, but for now, I’m staying away from Norton’s mobile security products.

Norton stealing. I have two Norton subscriptions. One is for 10 devices and the other is for one device. I had a device stolen and now that I have a new iPad I want to install Norton. We have 10 other devices in our house that all have Norton installed and running. I removed the stolen device from my Norton profile. When I attempt to login on my new iPad I receive a msg that I have no open seats. Spent 1 hour 20 minutes on the phone today with 3 different Norton tech people all in one call. They were unable to solve the issue and all gave me the same guidance on how to install, but would not listen when I told them I was already told the same thing. I hesitate to buy another Norton subscription as I feel I will be locked out and just waste my money. Looks like I will need to cancel Norton and buy one of the competitors.

Drains your battery. From the recent update of this app to Norton 360, I noticed my phone would get hot in my pocket. I thought it was odd since all I’d be doing on the phone was listening to music, podcast, etc. No reason for the phone to be overheating. I opened settings and battery to view the battery usage and was surprised to find Norton 360 was the top user of battery power with over 50% and 8 hours of running in the background. Instagram came in second with 13% battery usage. Something has gone terribly wrong with this app. The auto-scanning is killing the battery life. Create a manual scan option or scheduled scan. This is a dumb problem to have. Plus, any app that uses internet data is useless until scanning is complete.

Problems and deficiencies. I put this app on my iPhone 8 and an older iPad. From then on whenever one of them is plugged in, it begins to reboot every few minutes. Because of this neither could update or run backups. On my phone I can disable the VPN and run a backup, and the phone can sometimes update anyway. Not always but sometimes. I like to plug in my iPad when I go to bed and listen to podcasts until I fall asleep. I also depend on the alarm on the iPad to wake me. On the iPad I cannot disable the VPN and could not use these features with a constant reboot going on so I uninstalled it altogether. The other issue is, this VPN does not let me choose where I want my location to appear to be. That seems to be one of the more useful features of a VPN. I have no idea why they wouldn’t offer that option.

Norton 360. Did not renew this in April. It’s November and yesterday received a pop up that took over my iPhone. The pop up wanted me to allow access to google calendar or to allow add only (whatever allow add only means). My iPhone would not shut down and would not allow me to use any other apps. It literally took over my iPhone. I contacted Apple they said to contact Norton developers. The Norton online help was not helpful. The Norton community is not easy to navigate or to post an issue. I have lost trust in Norton. If Nortons name is being used to do this, they could still state there is some hacker using their name it getting help from them is worse than listening to a bad joke.

Sms filtering doesn’t work. It’s been 4 days trying to contact level 2 support since it doesn’t work. I told them don’t call me past 8pm est time because I work they call me 4 hours later at 12am I try to pick up they hang up. Call back right after they hung up 4 times finally got a hold of someone and they told me level 2 isn’t in the building right now. So dude called me and left the building within 13 mins. You know what I suggested to them 4 days ago block keywords or phrases for their sms filtering since their filter is crap. (All of my sms spam/scams had urls to malicious sites) I used virustotal on a sandbox machine didn’t click link on phone and didn’t respond to malicious text.

Had to delete from iPhone. VPNs are supposed to be helpful rather than angering. But sometimes you really need to turn them off. Want to watch Netflix over your phone? Can’t do that with Norton VPN turned on. And guess what? Norton won’t let you turn it off. Deleting was the only solution. I see the so called “response” from Norton. It gave a so called solution that is not findable. Did not address the main question — why Norton refuses to allow me to turn off the VPN without having to delete the software. “Response” probably written by someone not paid very well who does not know the product well, and is working off of an outdated list of stock answers that don’t match the software they actually sell.

Causes frequent reboots. Soon after getting the iPhone SE 2 I decided to get this Norton virus protection like I have on my laptop. At first, I had no problems except much slower internet surfing. Then my phone stated to reboot on its own many times in a day. After a quick google search to see what was going on I learned that unstable apps can cause this. The remedy google had was to delete the app. I was hoping it was one of two other apps I had recently installed. The problem was not resolved until I deleted the Norton app. I have been pleased with Norton services for my laptop for years, but this product is not realistically functional. Fortunately, I was still in the trial period and could cancel prior to paying anything.

Fix the app now-Don’t update to ios14 if you absolutely need Norton VPN. I’ve had Norton on my phone for a little while now. I just updated my IOS to 14 and now my internet is not working sometimes. So, I turned my phone on and off, turned cellular data on and off, and finally I looked at an online forum to see if anyone else had issues after the new update. That’s where I saw it was a NORTON ISSUE! I just turned off web protection on my phone, and now my internet is just as fast and working like it was before. I love Norton. I need a VPN because I do business on my phone and I’ve dealt with scammers in the past. But I’m not going to pay for it, if it won’t even work with the new update on my phone. So... I guess you all need to figure that out. And

Repeated reboot and preventing backup. The app would repeatedly reboot my iPhone when the phone was charging. At first I thought it was problems with “new” replacement phones. Apple worked with me each time to replace the phones. I deleted the app from the third phone and have not had any problems since. I contacted Norton support, but have not heard back. After a short time I reinstalled the app. It seemed to work well with my phone for a couple of months. When our temperatures hit the 90s, I noticed the phone would reboot and thought the battery might be overheating when I work outside. Today iCloud notified me my phone had not backed up in two weeks. When I tried to back up my phone to iCloud with Norton turned on, the phone would shut down and reboot about five minutes in. When I turn Norton Security off, iCloud backed up successfully. I have deleted Norton Security from my phone.

VPN disconnects WiFi. I have to turn web protection off to connect to any WiFi, but the second I turn it on again it will disconnect me from whatever WiFi I’m on and will not reconnect until I turn web protection back off in the app. Also, the switch in settings for turning the VPN on and off does not work. As soon as I leave settings, the VPN is on again. The only way to turn it off so that I can connect to WiFi is to go into the app. Update: I was shown that turning WiFi on and off multiple times and waiting several minutes would occasionally allow my iPhone to connect to the WiFi network. I am glad to of regained some ability to connect to WiFi but this is still a tedious and annoying process to have to go through every time I leave the vicinity of my WiFi hotspot.

Better delete the app if you cancel the trial. Just like its intrusive program on your computer, it will bug you if you don’t subscribe. This app wasn’t bad, but it also wouldn’t let me connect to my cable company’s app and kept blocking the connection, so I cancelled the trial subscription. Now it sends reminders you should continue to subscribe. So even though they urge you to keep the app, delete it. There is always one issue or another with Norton. I couldn’t find how to allow my cable company’s app to work properly. Otherwise, not bad. I felt more secure. Don’t know if it’s necessary, though.

Awesome online security !. I love how you Have added more reasons why we can have confidence that our security is being watched .. especially from those who are compromising website ! In time .. online security will be able to close down persons who use online to harm others financially ( scammers and identity theft) while in the progress ..you have been ( taking notice of how information is communicated online from unscrupulous acts and warn their targets while it’s in progress) 💝) . Thank you for watching👁♥️‼️

Working and playing IPhone on the web is safer. Before Norton I used others that were in no way close at finding and removing virus, issues as Norton. Now for over 20-years I use Norton for so much VPN, password protection, Core, Norton Security and many other products by Norton. Have made my life so nice. IP protection, Norton has a wide range of products and a 24/7 helpful staff always ready to help with any Norton Security fix, repairs or general help on an install. Truly Norton is their to keep you from making the next space debris your computer. You will come to know and learn Norton is always ready to help you with any of their many Norton Security online products. “Norton is worthy of your trust”

App Update Never Installs on 1st Try. Have used Norton 360 on my desktop for many years with decent performance. Decided to add it to my iOS devices. Not sure what it’s doing, because it runs in the background on the iPhone and iPad, and I rarely use public WiFi. But I have noticed that every single time I try to to update the app, it never installs on the first try. I have to wait for it to attempt to install, generate an error message and then try again. I’ve made sure the iOS is up to date first; still doesn’t work. Other than that, the app hopefully does what its supposed to do and I haven’t had battery life issues as reported by other users.

Great … when it works. I’m not sure hat the deal is with this app. I love the fact that the subscription os feature-packed, but the VPN seems to really cause issues: if I turn it on, my other apps won’t load, and sometimes I even lose WiFi completely! Shut off VPN, and suddenly the other apps work again. Actually makes the VPN rather useless except for the few apps that it seems to allow without glitches - basically apps that don’t require browsing! Unfortunately, this is probably a deal-breaker when it comes to renewing my subscription.

VPN constantly blocked by sites. Norton needs to address the issue that their VPN is constantly blocked by sites, especially social media or shopping sites, for normal and routine browsing activity. Why pay for a product that you can’t actually use? The problem has just been getting worse over time as many sites are fronted by SaaS security providers like Akamai or CloudFlare who offer an easy solution for site owners to block traffic which they can’t easily track or monetize. To offer their customers the value they are paying for, Norton needs to partner with these SaaS providers and find a reasonable solution. Likely, Norton needs to pay fees to these providers, or needs to rotate the IPs in use by their VPN edge nodes, but apparently isn’t willing to do so.

Get rid of this resource draining app. This app is worse than a virus. Had it installed “protecting” my phone, it was causing overheating, severe battery drain (100%-10% in four hours) it strained my battery so much the phone would overheat. It uses so many resources it was crazy, after a failed tech support call with Norton apple advised me to delete and all problems went away, my phone lasts two days now on a charge! Then they respond with a canned answer about it showing battery drain. Since DELETING THIS VIRUS APP, my battery use is restored! With the app on, battery would completely drain in 4 hours, apple was about to replace my phone until we found the problem, Norton can’t admit to it and fix it SHAME ON THEM

Norton Mobile security app. I’ve been using Norton products on my PC since the age of DOS and I was excited that a new version for my iPhone was available so I rushed to the App Store and downloaded it. After using it for about a week I was totally unsatisfied with the results. It slowed down my iPhone to a crawling speed. The same apps that used to launch almost instantaneously now with the Norton app installed would take almost two minutes to launch, they claimed that with the Free VPN their app provides would make Safari run a lot faster, I discovered that this wasn’t true. Once I uninstalled Norton my iPhone went back to its normal speed and function. I hope that Symantec will fix this issue soon because, normally, Norton products are great.

True to its every word!. Not computer literate and was using another highly rated antivirus program because a bit cheaper. But in the back of my mind I always felt my iPhone was vulnerable to others, especially when I did my banking. I thought I would try Norton for that bit of extra security it offers. As I was purchasing the Norton I realized it wasn't as expensive as I thought it was and offered so much more for the minimal added expense. I use my iPhone for pretty much everything. to paying my bills along with going into my bank account. Before in the back of my mind I felt an uneasiness about going into my bank account and doing my banking. Now I feel completely safe in doing my banking, paying credit cards, to surfing the web. Norton made me a believer and as long as I have the internet, I will have Norton downloaded. I feel completely comfortable with them that I sent it to my sons. Keep up the great work Norton, always have me as a customer Regards Feel Safe Now

A so so attempt at phone security. This seems to be a piecemeal attempt at phone security that leaves a few holes that are very important to to world of mobile phones. Granted Apple sets the rules when it comes to iOS, but as a whole this falls into the category of could be better. Apples own spam settings are kind of moot if you can’t silence the alerts of segregated SMS messages specifically. It doesn’t appear to pre-emptively quarantine emails or more importantly spam text messages these days. A key element toward avoiding the psychological pitfalls of phishing in the first place is to quarantine the bait Before we get as far as the browser. Leaving it to that point as our last stand might be a little too late in some situations.

Hacked and could not repair. I have Norton full service through Xfinity. Used it for three years. Suddenly the big red screen appeared that I had been hacked. Spent three days on line with the Xfinity techs. Installed a new modem through Xfinity. Within minutes hacked again. They connect me with Robert their norton guru. I waited for an hour before he answered. He told me my iPad and iPhone were infected with versus, to take to a repair shop. I called Apple they check my devices and suggest I remove norton. Norton was disconnecting my home modem service, I could not use my house modem without seeing the hacked screen. Outside my home I had no problems on my iPhone and I could connect my iPad through my iPhone (at home) with no problems. I finally disconnected my norton service and am now trying to find a reliable vpn.

Painful and Support Pingpong. Renewed my annual subscription across devices. First after numerous emails from Norton to renew I finally moved forward since they try to auto-renew too early. I turn off auto renewal and renew a few days prior the renewal. My online account is only showing my PC and iPad active and not my iPhone even though my iPhone shows on my iPhone as active. Contacting support is painful. Very painful. Repeating the same info over and over and over. They go in circles. If I go by my online account then I can add 3 more devices for the 5 max. Then support says now they only show iPad and iPhone but not my PC!!!! OMG!!’ I wanna scream. Now they are telling me to reactivate Norton on my iPhone. Ugh, not like I haven’t told them I have already done this several times. I will use another product next year.

only a small prob BUT annoying!. Been using Norton products since 1990s and always found them to be the best. But since the latest updates (~week ago) I can’t get rid of the message # app badge DESPITE having turned it off in ios settings. All parameters check out on app’s scans just fine and can’t locate any actual messages in/on app pages, all updates of system fine, have newest app update, etc, but that annoyng “1” on the app on my home screen simply won’t go away. The real problem is that I can’t contact Norton Support or Error Report in any way, when fill out error report the pageshows “send” greyed out, so I can never actually contact anyone!

Battery Hog. I’ve long been a fan of Norton, but this application just takes too much juice to run. Support will give you all kinds of excuses like it has to monitor every email, but that’s protection you don’t need. Apple has settings built into the iPhone that does the same things without gobbling up your power. Then support says that Apple is metering their app incorrectly and charging Norton 360 with time that is taken by Safari. I don’t buy that either. The bottom line is this: I installed this app and started running out of power around noon. I uninstalled it and it returned to having 33% power at midnight. This app is a battery hog, no matter how you slice it. I don’t recommend it unless you are paranoid about viruses and have an extra battery or wall socket nearby.

Do not pay $1 for this service. I have had my identity stolen twice since June, 2021. I purchased the package to protect my identity etc. over $6,000 later and hours on the phone INCLUDING being hung up on multiple times (basically every single time I tried to get my electronics at least serviced) I would never recommend wasting a dollar considering I’ve already had my phones phone numbers all of my tablets iPads and computers compromised as well I am warning you to do your research. Read the fine print. This company only contacts me over reviews. They care nothing about my identity, devices, financial security etc. I’ve completely lost my grooming business as well as my identity. Please do not give these people any money ever. It’s a scam.

Nice idea but. Unusable at this time. Ever since I installed this app, I began to realize my phone would stay on LTE no matter where I was. Usually at home and at work and other places where I have the WiFi key programmed in, my phone should automatically switch to WiFi instead of one bar of lousy cell signal. I’m guessing it’s the aggressive vpn feature of the app which doesn’t seem to turn off ever. I can manually turn on my WiFi and it would work, but then wouldn’t reconnect if I leave the hotspot and come back again. Annoying to have to manually reconnect to a WiFi network your device already has memorized. Anyway, deleted for now, and WiFi immediately fine again. Seems maybe some more work is needed on the app.

WiFi Security will not stay logged in. I’ve been a Norton customer for whats seems like 30 years now....way befor you started your partnership with LifeLock. I’ve had the WiFi security app on my iPhone(XS MAX) ever since I purchased it. After the latest iPhone upgrade to iOS 13.6, this app doesn’t keep me logged in and I’ve had to delete it and resign in every 2-3 days. I’m very annoyed at having to pay for protection that doesn’t stay active. I also have Norton VPN and now have to turn that off to use certain apps where I didn’t before. Who’s at fault with these issues, it’s not my home WiFi, so is it Apple’s upgrage or something in your software that now isn’t compatible with their latest iOS update??

VPN essentially useless in IPhone 13. The only reason I pay for this service is for the VPN. iPhone turns it off anytime I’m on 5G saying I don’t need it. I only get VPN connectivity several time zones away and so I can’t use Proton Mail b/c it won’t update using certain Norton VPN’s. When I tried to change the VPN location in the US, it gives me another area in that same time zone. If I use a different country, then I have all kinds of other issues with my phone. Norton customer service is essentially nonexistent. I have tried to work through this problem for over a year without any success. I know a lot of this is probably due to having an iPhone also.

Forces VPN at all times if set up through the app. When setting up the VPN on the app, it adds two VPN profiles to the device for some reason. One of these profiles forces a VPN connection at all times. Even if the VPN toggle is set to “Off” and auto-connect is disabled, it will still force a VPN connection, even on secure networks. The only way to be able to turn it on and off at will is to delete this profile, which this disables the ability to turn the VPN on and off through the app. I then have to turn the VPN on and off through the phone settings. It’s a workaround, but not what I would call expected functionality.

Not ready for prime time. I’ve had to remove this app twice for interfering with the basic usability of my phone. I guess one way to protect mobile device is to disable it, but that seems rather excessive. The device scanning functionability needs tweaking, or an option to halt the process when it’s misbehaving. Also network scanning was so obnoxious on an 11 hour flight that I had do uninstall to have basic online connectivity inflight. That’s not acceptable, particularly in that scenario. The app does do a good job of blocking nefarious sites embedded in various apps/sites, so I inevitably reinstall though am looking for a more viable solution if this app doesn’t get some more workable configurations and handling options.

Best decision we ever made.. I am very happy with LifeLock and their team. The people I have spoken to are very smart and very caring and patient. I had to go through a learning curve to understand how they work. They monitor my Wi-Fi Security, Device Security, Web Protection, Identity, VPN and SMS Security. They also check Ad Trackers and Malicious Web sites. If I can’t get in a web site it could be suspicious and they are watching out for us. I highly highly recommend both programs to anyone wanting to keep your information safe. ‘Since the Pandemic and more people home, the phishing has gotten out of control. The cyber hacking has increased and the only way to try to be safe is to have experts that know what to look for keep you protected. So happy we joined will stay with both programs and I hope more will join as it only in your best interest to be protected.

Terrible. I just installed and payed for a subscription but when I try to activate it, it loads with the “circle of death” lol but then Instantly stops activating. It doesn’t take me anywhere else, I thought maybe restarting my phone would work and re-installing it would work but it hasn’t. I thought maybe I should make an account so I used the one that’s connected to the App Store but that didn’t work either. It was a free trial too that was supposed to start before the paid subscription, but I canceled the subscription and now it says it won’t cancel until 2024 today. What the absolute H****! I want a refund if I was charged, if not then I want what was supposedly paid for!

Crashes phone. I had this app on my phone at least a year with no issues. For several months I was having issues with WiFi and data usage, but just thought it was my iPhone acting up. Then a month or so ago, my iPhone would no longer backup to iCloud due to “poor network connection”, the phone would freeze, and it randomly restart. Talked with Apple, updated my iOS l, and did a factory reset with no resolution. This has been a frustrating issue for weeks! Today I noticed that my iPad was having issues backing up to iCloud. I decided to delete this app on my iPad and I was able to backup to iCloud with no issues. I quickly deleted this app from my iPhone and was able to back up to iCloud. Since deleting this app today, my iPhone has not frozen or randomly restarted. If your iPhone or iPad is acting up, I would start with deleting this app.
