App used to be great. But now stuff doesnt work. After the last few updates there have been several glitches that make the app annoying to me. Perfect example is the list feature. If you click on a heart to add some thing to your list it takes you to a section where you can pick which list to put it on. When you click the list to put it in your only options are “create list” or “x” which takes you out of the list section. There should be some notice that it was added to the list. Because it doesnt always add. So your only option to verify that it’s actually added to the list is to go back open your list scroll through everything and make sure it’s been added. This adds so much time when you’re trying to put a bunch of things on your list it slows you down so much. This is just the top thing that I find annoying with the newer versions. And if somethings out of stock can’t you give notice of when it MAY be expected in? I’ve got things that I’ve been checking on for many months that are out of stock and sometimes it just disappears from the app completely. It’s very annoying!Why can’t you say expected within two weeks or expected in six months or more. Something so that I’m not I’m not checking twice a week to see if it’s going to be in. Come on make this a little more user-friendly

Cheaper, glass, & nowhere else. Strange title, I know, LOL. I first went to total wine because I was looking for Orgeat syrup and could not find it anywhere else. Later, my regular grocery store stopped carrying my husband’s go to drink, Jim Beam, in glass bottles. I really don’t care for plastic bottles so I thought I would check at total wine and lo and behold, there it was in its regular glass bottle AND it was $2 cheaper. A good friend and neighbor mentioned that he hasn’t been able to find Evan Williams peach anywhere lately. I guess it’s due to the shortages of several things. At any rate, Total Wine has it. I was even able to purchase it on the app even though I’m not able to come pick it up for several days, so I don’t have to worry about it being sold out by the time I’m able to get there. Also, it’s $3 cheaper than what he usually pays. Very satisfied customer

Great App for the most part.. This is a great app for the most part. It has two major issues that I dislike intensely. First, I cannot find the upcoming classes/events. They are either well hidden or they are not displayed on the current version of the App. I even asked an employee while I was in a store and they could not find it. If I use the website, I have no problem. Second, the feature that randomly displays a screen requiring you to press and hold a button for several seconds to confirm that you are a human. This invariably happens to me while I am in the store searching for something on my list. It’s super annoying and bots don’t generally visit your store. I understand the bot problem, but there are other checks that could be performed before displaying the “I’m not a bot check.”

The best place for liquer. Total wine has a huge selection of whiskeys and is now my go-to place. They have staff that actually knows the selections because they have tried many of them. My last in-store visit was fun because I got to sample a few of the scotches. I bought three of them and all were very good. I get expert advice when selecting new brands. Their Direct selections are priced very good. They told me it kinda skips the middle man distribution and therefore, skips their mark-up. A better price for me!!! I am trying my first delivery today. I ran out of time and couldn’t get away to go get it. It was very reasonable and if it arrives as expected, I’ll be doing it again.

Very good and pretty easy to use. Nice to be able to order online and the app works well. I've done it a couple of times now and the only frustrating thing is for some reason they mark items unavailable or out of stock that are there if you go in the store yourself. Would be nice to get that fixed. Minor delays in recognizing what I pressed in the filter so I pressed again thinking I hadn't hit the tiny box on my phone, which because of the delay actually ended up clearing the selection and because had pressed to view results meant I had to start over. Not a big deal but because out was in brands there was a huge list to scroll thru - would also recommend adding a letter of the alphabet quick jump to help with that.

Great variety, terrific prices, and now curbside pick-up!. I have friends/family who come visit and always make a trip to Total Wine when they’re here because it has such a great variety to choose from and the prices are good. When isolation began because of COVID-19, I placed an order on line and went to pick it up, assuming they would bring it to the curb. I called when I arrived because I didn’t see any place to do that and the manager brought my order out to me and mentioned they didn’t do curbside pickup. I thought it was very sweet for him to do it in light of that face. The next time I placed an order online, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find they had designated parking for curb-side pick-ups, with a number to text them to let them know I was there. It was VERY efficient and well-organized! I came home and told my family i was the front-runner! Haha

Right to the door, every time. Delivery rates and timing are the key factors that I care about for my choices in delivery or not. The rates for total wine are very good especially considering they are usually available to deliver within a few hours of order on the given day ordered. Whenever a problem occurs I have always had good communication with the drivers help redirect them. The options total wine brings are quite a bit more than the stores local to me and being able to access this via delivery instead of driving across town is great

Great selection. Easy to use app. Saves time.. Number one reason to get this app -CURBSIDE PICK UP (One of the best things to come from COVID19 IIMHO). I have always found the staff at Total Wine super knowledgable and friendly and enjoy finding/purchasing new items based on their recommendations. The favorites tab on the app comes in handy and makes quick work of re-stocking. I use this app for times when I don't want to waste extra time “shopping” and am planning to do curbside pick-up. One thing that could improve this app would be more/better filters.

GREAT SELECTIONS, PRICES & STAFF. Where do I begin!!! Total Wine has such a great selection of wines and spirits and the customer service is top notch. I used to be very fond of BevMo, until they moved out of my city leaving me to travel to two other cities. Their buy one get one for 5 cents do not compare to Total Wines’ everyday prices. Not for what I purchase. TW staff are very knowledgeable and they have yet to steer me wrong when I want to try something new. Trust me…. I spend $200 and up a month at TW and that’s ever since they’ve opened. So Thanks BevMo, for the high prices and not so knowledgeable staff. That is to you I’ve found a place to call home! I’ve learned more about wine, champagne and Vodka in the past few years, that I could definitely write a dissertation and articles in magazine journals. I have been so informed that my friend all believe I could be a sommelier! And yes I am tooting my own horn! Thanks TW! R/ All Day Sommelier (in my head & heart)

A decent app with a few unforgivable UX issues. Total wine the store has great selection and friendly services. Prices tend to be okay, if you’re hunting for deals you’ll be able to find more affordable things elsewhere. Total wine the app has a few issues. First, when you add something to your cart the search field is obscured by a very long lived confirmation message, which blocks your next action (searching for more booze!). Second, the flow for adding new payment methods does a reload when you hit “save this card”, making me think I had perhaps made an error entering the card data? But no. It reloads the card screen and you are expected to click “back” to return to your checkout process. This is an unforgivable design decision.

Irritating problem, and a simple fix. When searching for a product using this app, it will only search 1 location at a time (“my location”). If “my location” doesn’t have the item I’m looking for, I have to go into settings and change my location to a different store, and search for the item again. I have 4 locations in my area, so this search process has to be repeated 4 times. Some may search a product, and when it says “no results found”, they may not realize it’s only unavailable at that particular store and could be available at a location less than 10 minutes away. Consequently, some customers, like myself before I was aware of this, may seek the item at a different retailer thinking it was unavailable at any of your stores. Simple fix would be to make it easier to search and show results for multiple locations in the surrounding area at one time, or at least easily toggle between stores. Your website has a “all stores” option, why doesn’t your app?

Absolutely fabulous!. This app is my favorite way to shop for any alcohol, from beer, through wine & Italian bitters, to hard liquor. The store itself has a mind-blowing selection at rock-bottom prices, but I find going in person with a vague idea can be very distracting, and I consistently end up with extra items. Doing all the research in the app, then placing an order for pickup is just so much more practical. Love the lists for quick “topping off” off home collections, the integrated coupons & rewards, but the absolute winner is the barcode scanner (with a label fallback), which lets you scan a bottle at an “incredible” discount in another store to verify how incredible the discount really is (spoiler alert: almost always not so incredible after all).

Great Gluten Free Beer Selection. Being one of a growing number of people that can only drink Gluten Free beer, I absolutely love that I can fire up the Total Wine app and place an order for pick up. Please make sure Corporate sees this review…. There are many thousands of people that rely on TW for Gluten Free beer…. Please keep stocking as much of it as you can and I encourage your purchasing team to always be on the lookout for new breweries where wholesale is available. There are so many great Gluten Free beers I’ve picked up at TW’s all across the country while on business travel that I should probably start a blog or Instagram page! Thank you Total Wine. — Gluten Free Dude in your home state of Maryland (Silver Spring to be specific)

Great store held back by terrible app. The local store is great - knowledgeable, helpful staff and good selection. The app appears helpful at first, but has some real issues: - offers that you think are receiving OFTEN are not applied. Check your receipts carefully. There are additional limitations not listed, in addition to all the fine print. An example is a Spanish wine that does not qualify for the 15% Spanish wine offer (not mentioned in any fine print). It is eligible for the 10% mix 6 offer. Why? Reasons. - purchases that you make in store do not show in the app. Want to find that wine you bought last visit? - too bad. - the app makes you work to get offers. You need to figure out which overlapping offers are best for your purchase. Email also has offers not listed in their own app. I am a grand reserve member - just give me your best deal. - people at the store cannot help with any app issues.

Wide variety and excellent membership benefits. Total Wine stocks a much wider variety than any other wine shop within 200 miles of my home. There are a few other wines I would want, but I’m content with the alternative selections available. The Total Wine pricing is consistent or slightly lower than their competitors, and member benefits make shopping at Total Wine a no-brainer. I particularly appreciate that their IT team has now integrated member rewards, offers and discounts into their online ordering system. Makes it tremendously easier for the customers and the check-out clerks. Nice job!

Great retailer app— one feature not working. Great app— love search, product description, and the ability to manage lists. The ability to build my shopping list in advance is great, and even better is being able to order and pickup at the store. The tasting notes feature is a great idea, but it does not seem to be working as intended right now. You can add notes to a wine and the app retains them for you with the specific product. However, the “Tasting Notes” section of the app says “Your glass is empty! You haven’t added anything to you tasting notes yet.” Fixing this would give your users another great organizational tool. Thank you.

Always Great Service!. I always shop on the Total Wine app, and I must say, their customer service is top-notch. From the moment I browsed their impressive selection of wines, I was impressed by their user-friendly interface. The customer support team was incredibly responsive and helpful when I had questions about specific wines and recommendations. Plus, their diverse range of wines catered to both connoisseurs and casual wine enthusiasts. Overall, a fantastic online wine shopping experience each time with outstanding customer service. Highly recommended!

This order could’ve been WAY easier. First, your store said the champagne I wanted was available to ship to my friend. I received a voicemail that it wasn’t available, to call back and they cancelled my order. I called back and they told me even though it says it’s available, they couldn’t find the case. So they should’ve updated the site because it still shows as available! Since the order was cancelled I had to the. reorder something else on the app. I had to go in and reorder, then the item I wanted wasn’t available again…so I had to search yet again, and then even though I have my setting and payment info in my app, I still have to put my card in again! This was a very painful process and I don’t even know if the 3rd item I ordered will be available to order for my friends 50th bday!

What more could you want…well one thing. This app is great. I always start by checking the deals. The search and filter features are great and allows you to browse. I often pull up previous orders to find what I ordered before. The only thing I wish it had was a way to rank or review the wines I’ve ordered because I never remember what we liked and didn’t like. Even just a no, meh, liked, loved ranking or 1 to 10 or as in depth as a full review. Just a way to help me reorder with even more ease would be great! Almost always a Deal for free delivery which makes it even better.

Great store, great app. I love knowing that whatever I can’t find at my grocery store I will almost certainly be able to find at Total Wine, which makes it well worth the 20 minute drive. The app is exactly what a shopping app should be, with local store availability easy to see, and not just aisle numbers but also guidance on which side of the aisle to find what you’re looking for. And if you STILL can’t find it, there will be a half dozen polite and friendly employees offering to help you find it. I’ve only just started exploring the classes offered at our local shop, but so far they’ve been awesome. Super informative and fun.

This is the worst app I used in my life. I never write reviews but this whole fiasco was ridiculous. My fiancé and I were trying to place an order for pick up at a store for our wedding. We heard good things about the store and app. Originally when she created the app on her phone she used her information to create it. At the payment option we realized using my card it wasn’t accepting the payment. There’s no option to put my name in at the payment screen. We then had to change all of her information to mine so I could pay (in hindsight I should have cash app her the money and she could have payed) after doing so it still wouldn’t accept the payment. We called the store and they told us we had to call customer service for the app. We called them and they said they are unable to do anything but my card charge should come off in 3 to 5 days. They said we’d have to go to the store to purchase anything.... so I then created an account on my own phone with everything in my name and used a complete different card and STILL my order was CANCELLED. I’m beyond upset with th is app experience. I’ll be going to the store to purchase instead.

Please do some work here.... This AM, I spent quite a while entering a cart for pick up. If I scrolled on the right edge, it deleted, on the left, drilled down on product. Only dead center scrolling prevented, not the comfort norm while holding iPad. I also had to hit add to cart twice for each item to get them to enter. But wait, it gets worse. First my Buy again disappeared, then my cart, then my log in and finally I got a message that I couldn’t log back in. What a waste of my previous time! The good news is when I checked again I could log in and my cart was there; the bad news is the 30 minutes of angst in between. Maintenance at 9 AM or some other reason for crash? If maintenance, please do in the middle of the night like the rest of the customer-focused IT world. I also believe for app users, all deals applicable should be auto-applied. Bottom line, app failed to achieve its purpose if that was convenience and loyalty. Feels a little like it was developed for a high school project.

Easy as Sunday Morning!. This app makes it easy to shop your local store for whatever bottle of fun you’re looking for. Be aware that all stores don’t have everything available. However they have a lot! Some items are in store purchase only but, that is clearly stated in the app bottle by bottle. Home delivery is nice as well. Not a large fee but enough that you won’t order a lone bottle of the cheap stuff. Look for the free delivery special and save it to your account it is automatically applied. Your government id is required when you purchase as well as when your purchase arrives. All of the beverages have narratives which helps when deciding what to purchase. Overall easy, educational and you can shop at your leisure!

Curbside Pickup @ Total Wine & Spirits. Shopping at Total has always been a pleasure because of the great staff they employ. Now, during the pandemic, I have utilized the curbside pickup option and it is great. You pick the day / time you wish to pickup your order and Total send you a confirmation when your order is complete, they text and email you that it’s ready, usually ahead of the time requested. When you arrive, you park in the designated spots, notify the stor that you are there, give the your parking spot number and a friendly employee comes to your car within a minute and loads you order. It’s great!

Mobile app gets the job done but popups are combersome. The app is designed for a phone, but displays and works fine on an iPad. Pages load a little slow, but overall performance is pretty good. Easy to browse and add your favorites to your cart. Excellent feature is that browsing an item shows if you've already added one or more to your cart. The checkout process is fairly smooth. Only annoying thing is for returning customers the app fills the address and info, but pops up a virtual keyboard that covers most of it. This makes it a little more cumbersome to review and confirm all the info is correct since you can only see the data one line at a time while scrolling or pressing next repeatedly. Would be even better if the app populated the info and had you check a box to confirm the info instead of bringing up the virtual keyboard. Cheers!

Great but with a few bugs. The app is great! Everything is pretty accessible and it’s extremely easy to find what you’re looking for no matter what store you’re in. I love that you can see past orders made directly in-store. My fiancé found a bottle of wine this summer that he absolutely loved but he can’t remember the name of it. With this app you’ll never run into that problem again. My only complaint, and it’s a little one, the digital card you can add to your wallet doesn’t update your points. Whatever points you add at the time of adding it to your wallet are the points you’ll see in the top right forever. You can remove the card and add back from the app and it only takes a few seconds but you shouldn’t have to go through all that trouble. Fix that issue and I’ll gladly up my review score!

First order so 4 stars only. I’m only doing four stars right now because this is my first order but the ordering and payment method has been fantastic I will update and leave a new review once I get my first order just to let everybody know how it went. I’m also so glad to find a wine delivery service in Tucson Arizona. Bit far away in some new construction on the outskirts of town so it’s great to see that there is a delivery service that can bring me my beverage when I run out and I should not be driving! On a sidenote, just sayin’ maybe there will be fewer people driving under the influence if there are more services like this! More alcohol, sex, and food are the leading causes of DUIs… again just sayin’!

Love shopping here, did not like the experience. I was shopping there today for my birthday weekend and I brought my sister with me because I did not want to leave her in the car alone. While we were shopping she did not touch anything besides push the cart while I looked. When we wanted to check out I told her to go start the car and the lady wanted to see her ID. I told her she went to go see if she had it in her purse, my friend who is also 21 came in and said my sister didn’t bring it. I was purchasing the liquor along with my friend so I saw no reason for my sister to need her ID since she was not purchasing anything and did not touch anything. At the end it came down to them not being able to see me the liquor because my sister did not have her ID which is ridicules, considering the fact that she did not touch anything and she was not paying. We never had this issue before until now and I am very upset about it, maybe a good sigh by the entrance would be good.

So much better than it needs to be. This app is top notch quality. It makes browsing and ordering so seamless. Not only that, but it keeps track of your orders, for those of us who can never remember the name of that wine they bought last time but really loved! I love that my coupons are available right here in the app as well. Small touches such as listing exactly which side of which aisle you can find each product on, make this app pretty incredible. I really wasn’t expecting much out of my local liquor stores app, but this was definitely an app worth downloading!

Easy on line ordering and pickup. Ordering on line through the app is so easy and picking up the order is even easier! Pull up, text you are there and which spot you are in, and Bamm!! Your order is delivered to your car within 5 minutes. You don’t even have to get out of your car! They have made it very easy to shop for people like me who work full time and just don’t have time to go in a store. It’s also very helpful to see the star rating of whatever you are interested in. You don’t get that in the store, so in the app, you can take your time and choose accordingly!!

Total Wine is like your favorite bookstore of Spirits,Wines, and Beers. When you visit Total Wine you become lost in the rows and rows of wines available to try from all over the world. I find it very fascinating being someone who loves good wine. I also like how the employees have little notes of why they like a certain wine which is quite helpful. The employees are also very helpful and more than willing to give you some advice if you have a question. Their wine tastings are great and also interesting. You could spend a whole hour or more just browsing in this store as if you were browsing for a good book at your favorite bookstore. You can’t go wrong with a visit to Total Wine regardless of what you are in the mood for spirits, wine, or beer.

It does not accurately work to process winery direct discounts!. If I could give it zero stars, I would. We buy a very significant amount of wine on a regular basis from Total Wine. I went through the arduous task a year and a half ago with customer service (45 minutes on the phone) trying to get them to understand the site does not work to process winery direct discounts properly. The lady helping me agreed and she was able to manipulate my cart so that the accurate discount was applied. But as a customer you should not have to do that every time you want to purchase wine online. It is very misleading because as you put items in your cart, you assume the discount is going to be applied, but it is not accurately applied and it can cost you hundreds of dollars. It’s the reason we quit even trying to order online and instead have gone to our Altamonte Springs, Florida, store where our rep, Dan, is always so extremely helpful. We’d like the ability to be able to order online and, for example, pick up our order at a different store occasionally. It’s an absolute joke that it still does not work one and a half years later.

Convenient. Started ordering from Total wines during Covid 19 via app- this app for my location seems to be well updated on availability on all the sorts of wines they have in the store that I will pick up at. One time one of the wines I ordered couldn’t be found. (I placed my order last minute and arrived at store before my order was ready ) The issue was simply resolved by me going around the store for me to choose another wine bottle of my choice. Then they simply swapped the orders. The charges don’t seem to charge right away until orders were fully ready. So I don’t have to worry about pending charges, even though I’m pretty patient as long matter is resolved. And it was resolved ! Love the choices available and appreciate the reviews and details on wines I see online. I’m in the middle of exploring wines to do a wine pairing for my culinary project. Best of all, all accessible just by the app while I earn points through my account.

Super Convenient. This app is great. Very user friendly and super convenient. You can purchase on the app for pick up in store which takes away the $urprise you get when at the register. They have great selections and great prices. I used it for a big party I was hosting and I was able to stay within my budget since I was able to easily edit my cart before checkout. You get the whole liquor store experience at your fingertips without the hassle of having to leave your house (til it’s time to pick up) and wait in line. You can even add a different pick up person as long as they’re 21+ years old.

Best service I’ve had. I’d like to say that Total Wine is the best service I’ve ever had delivered to me. The drivers (yes I know they are not store employees) are courteous and usually I tip them very well. They always find my location and Total Wine has never been out of anything that I order it’s not too difficult to pay attention in the app and see what it is in stock. In today’s world where deliveries have become the norm, I really appreciate the service they give me. When I do visit the store, I am greeted professionally and treated with respect again another quality that seems to escape society these days. Thank you for the service.

Could be so much better. I like total wine for the most part. They’re not terribly overpriced compared to other places that sell alcohol but the rewards/incentives lack and could use a massive revamp/improvement. The fact that you get two free wine gift bags a month it’s a joke. And accumulating actual money to use as a reward takes forever. When I use my reward money it basically pays for a portion of the tax applied to my purchase. I don’t actually feel like I’m really gaining anything. Customer service is so so, meaning, sometimes I might get someone who doesn’t hate life and is actually nice. Most of the time I seem to checkout with someone who is rude or has an attitude.

Such a great App. This app is so nice. I can place an order and pick the time I want to pick up. I drink craft beers so instead of walking around the whole store looking at all the hundreds of craft beers I can shop on the app and read about the beers and if I’m interested I add to my cart. I set up my own pick up so I pick a date and time I will be in the area of the store and that makes it so convenient. One order they didn’t have one item I wanted and the store called me to tell me and he also told me he wanted to have me try another more expensive beer in place of what I ordered at no additional cost. Now that my friends is true customer service at its best. Not only did they take the time to personally call me they asked if they could upgrade me at no cost. Try to get Walmart to do that. They have your items and still don’t deliver. Anyway, kudos to the Total Wine staff at Albuquerque Cottonwood location. Keep up the great work you guys.

Tipping online. I really enjoy such diversity you have online. The only thing I wish you had on your online ordering and delivery is a place to tip your driver. I’ve come across some food delivery places that you order online from and you can tip the delivery person before he comes to deliver our food and if he was really good, you can go back into the computer and add more $ to his tip. I think your drivers would like that and also some of us customers because we want to tip but don’t always have cash on hand. Something to think about😊🍻🍺🥂🍾🍸🍹🧉

Frequent Incorrect information. The app frequently shows incorrect information in “my deals”. When I show them to the store employee, he always thinks that I am shopping from a different location in the app. Once he looks at my app and sees that I am at the correct location, he cannot understand why the offers that are in my app are not in their store. Additionally, the guy behind the customer service desk at the Cinco Ranch, TX location is so unprofessional! Tonight, as he was talking to me about my issues, he had a piece of paper towel rolled up and stuffed inside his nose! As we talked, he kept pulling it out, re-rolling it, and stuffing it back up inside his nose. Very distasteful, and unprofessional! Not to mention that he was also unhelpful with my issue. Please fix your app to reflect honest price information, and please instruct your staff to be more professional. Please, no more paper towels stuffed into the nostril! I am not kidding!!

Do NOT order gifts through the app. I have used the app flawlessly for home delivery. Their inventory lookup speed seems to be slow at times and can be a bit frustrating when placing large orders. However, a lesson I learned the hard way, do not order gifts for others through this app. I ordered an expensive holiday bottle for a friend. I checked the gift box in the app, put their name in there along with a note, updated the address and thought I was good to go....not so much. At 4AM my time (in another time zone) I started receiving multiple calls and texts (unbeknownst to me) that my bottle couldn’t be delivered. Apparently the app, automatically put the senders name as who to deliver to, even though it is notated as a gift under their system and the recipients name is added. So, unless you want to receive a non-refundable delivery fee, do NOT order gifts through the app.

I love this store!. Total Wine has a fabulous selection of wines, as well as gluten-free beers. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and available to answer your questions or guide you to what you’re looking for. They have a wine tasting bar so you can taste their Winery Direct selections prior to making a purchase, as well. They also offer online ordering with store pickup OR delivery in certain areas. Nice way to get in on a coupon if it expires but you may not get there on that last day 😉. Pickup a day or two after, if necessary, is accommodated by them! Oh also, they offer classes for those of us wanting to learn about and taste different wines, as well. FABULOUS store and employees, they have my business hands down!

Please fix you inventory. For the past two years, we have come to Total Wines to pick up specific beverages which are listed “in stock” on the web site for my location (Woodland Hills and Northridge). We I arrive, more times than not, the beverage is not there, or at a quantity much lower in a different location. I always ask for help from the team members and I get the typical response of, our inventory is not up-to-date. I have brought this up to Management, and they say they will get it fixed, but to date, it hasn’t. To add insult to injury, the Woodland Hills location just finished moving there shelves and location of beverages to new places. What a perfect time to get things inventoried and update their site, alas, it is now worse than ever! Please get this fixed or you will be losing another customer.

Convenient...but feel a little blackmailed. I just wanted to do a specialty beer run for a friend making a special request (total was $17). The convenience of the curbside option appealed to me. However, I discovered upon checkout that there is a minimum amount to meet, $29, or you don’t qualify. Hmm. I figured maybe if I changed the pickup option to in-store (not so convenient), that there would be no minimum amount required. Nope. Both options make you reach the $29. Usually I don’t have a problem going over this amount...but times are different and I just recently got let go. Fundage matters a little more now (but so does alcohol. Balance). So...what’s the difference between doing in-store pickup OR going in & paying for exactly what I need at a register? Maybe if there’s a line outside, it’s to skip it?

Just One Thing. Great app! I use it all the time. I would give it five stars if the developer would add one feature. It would be awesome if it had a “Save for Later” option. Maybe I’m the only person who uses this app and likes to shop around and research different whiskeys and bottles of wine I’d like to eventually try, but I doubt it. I have six bottles of scotch in my cart right now that I hope to eventually try, but I won’t be buying them all at once due to the price. Good scotch ain’t cheap! :) So, I’ll probably take four of them out today and buy two. The problem is I can rarely remember all those I took out of my cart. I end up forgetting about them and Total Wine loses a sale. It would be a win-win if there was a “Save for Later” feature.

The app has serious issues for those that travel. This app is fine if you lead a sedentary life. If you travel for a living, it’s a total pain. Deleted addresses reappear. New addresses entered, and used, disappear. The worst is that when you purchase an in stock item, then it gets removed, you have no chance to replace the item and nobody to contact. Your delivery fee is then wasted. Right now, the 1 confirmed address in the address page has switched to a previously deleted address. I put in an order using the new address and the app shows delivery to the new address, but, when I went into my address book, it wasn’t listed anymore. I re-added my new address and tried to delete the old, only to be told that the current order is using the old, previously deleted, address, yet, the order states otherwise. This app is a mess and I wouldn’t recommend anything but staying away from it.

Easy to use if you know what you want. I frequently order on the app for pickup when I have an item in mind that’s tried and true. Works wonderfully. However it does not have the capacity to “browse”. Meaning if you throw out a search for “beach drinks” you might not get what you’re hoping for. There’s a few bugs to work out. Also, if something is in “limited quantities” you cannot add it to your cart. In the end, I occasionally find myself calling the store and speaking to a human being. Nothing wrong with that, but the app has shortcomings. Lastly, you can add offers to your account and it keeps track of your monetary rewards, but perks like gift bags, other offers, etc cannot be redeemed or added to the account. Work in progress.

Pretty good location. I have been using this Total Wine for about a year now. My first trip to the store was really early in the morning and I was surprised to find that there were many staff unloading in the isles, but none of them said good morning, nor were they very friendly, or helpful. I talked to the manager that morning who said it was not typical of her staff and ensured me that this trip was a typical. Subsequent trips there have been with a better response. The cashiers are sometimes friendly and sometimes not so friendly. Thankfully I have had more positive than negative experiences. I use the pick up option quite a bit and I would say that 90% of the time the order comes out quickly and friendly.

THE BEST DANG LIQUOR STORE IN THE WHOLE DANG INDUSTRY*. I have visited many liquor stores in my 65-years on this third rock from the Sun and Total Wines is, by far, the best one that I have ever patronized. The selection of wines, spirits, liqueurs, bar needs, et al, is, simply OVERWHELMING! The staff have always been professional in their treatment to me. I especially like the fact that when you ask the location of a specific item, they conduct you to the item rather than saying, “It is on Aisle 26, about halfway down on your right and on the third shelf.” I could keep on gushing praise upon the store and staff, but I am certain that you understand my feelings toward Total Wine.

Most convenient app ever!. I rarely leave reviews for apps, but this one definitely deserves 5 stars. The user interface is second to none. I’ve never had any issues while ordering through the app. Every week when we order through the app everything is quick and easy and our orders are always filled in a timely manner. Ever since the pandemic started we usually opt with curbside pickup and my orders are out almost immediately when I check in. Do yourself a favor and get this app now! You won’t want to shop anywhere else.

Wonderful prices and service. The Folsom store: I buy mostly wineand their prices are the best I’ve found. I was unable to drive one night (I’d had surgery the day before), and felt like having a glass of wine. I took advantage of the delivery services. The poor young woman who delivered my order was stuck in the pouring rain and couldn’t find our specific home. First she couldn’t get into the gate, then she walked all over, on foot, to get my delivery to me. I felt horrible for her, because she was soaked to the bone. She was smiles and nothing but pleasant by the time she found our front door. The in-house service has been just as wonderful. I haven’t run into any cranky employees, which usually means they’re happy with their employment. I hope your experience is as good as all mine have been. BTW - I do the online order for pick up more than not. They’re quick and accurate.

Easy online ordering and great selection. So easy to place my order online for curbside pick-up. Also easy to work through the website to find just what I want. Love the Winery Direct options, and the available discounts for various items. I often pick up orders for friends and family, as well. Just need their order PU info. So easy. Pick up is easy with prime parking spots in front of store, and delivery to car is always fast.

Nice app but... There are many nice features to this app, searching and ordering and viewing rewards status are all great. Developer request: Add a link to our current rewards for the month instead of rewards members needing to rely on an email. Also add an option to have the email resent if it isn’t received. I didn’t receive my email this month (my first time as a Grand Reserve member no less) and apparently it can’t be resent. So basically I either have to call the back office to get my rewards when I’m ready or I don’t get my rewards this month.

Customer service phone call. I rated a 1 star because I placed a phone call and it said I was fourth in line. I took the option to save my place in line and be called back. I waited nearly 20 minutes, and I ended up using my husband‘s phone to call andPlaced another call where it said I was 7th in line. I continued waiting for 57 minutes where I finally figured out the issue by using my Total Wine app to apply my five dollar reward. As soon as I place the order and submitted it, I finally get a callback from the initial call. I think an hour and 15 minutes is excessive, especially when they lead you to believe you are fourth in line. I absolutely do love total wine other than this experience.

Love the selection & price ..!. Whether your looking for a simple everyday day table wine or something a bit more special this is the place to buy your wines. I have found everything I have looked for and more..! I go in for 3-4 bottles and leave with almost 2 cases every time. It’s a bit of a drive but well worth it. Total Wines is the place for every or all wines your looking for and more. If you are not knowledgeable, the staff does make very good recommendations. I love this place..! Total Wine review. Total Wine has been great during the Covid crisis. I was able to place my order in the app and someone would deliver it to me. The only downside was that I had to show my I.D. every time. Perhaps, someone could come up with a way to verify it and mark it on your account. After all, the purpose of using that service was to practice social distancing and contactless interactions. Total Wine has decent prices and specials. We also like their loyalty rewards. I did have an issue one time that never got fixed. I ordered a special bottle of Zonin Silver Prosecco and received the lesser normal bottle of that brand.

Love the online service. I love the easy online service and the delivery has been wonderful. There has only been one time when my order was cancelled and it was over a busy holiday so it looks like they contracted out with door dash. Their delivery drivers are awesome. If you like something order in bulk if you are getting delivered, they have been out of items when choosing delivery but available still in store. I also love that they show deals on their mobile app!

Too easy and convenient. Until today, I had only used the app to check locations and store hours, and occasionally deals. Today, I placed a store order for pickup. The pics of merchandise, sizes and prices were all easy to read. I wanted to first pick up at Roseville and the app was able to identify issues with quantities which was extremely helpful. Because of that notice, I was able to order from another location. I tore my hamstring last week so the ability to order from the app was extremely easy and convenient!!

The app could be perfect but needs a couple more things.. The app is perfect you can search everything you need in the palm of your hands the only thing that I would love for this app to have is if you can search the different type of cigars because on the website on the computer you can search for them but on the app for some odd reason no matter what type of cigar brand I put on it never shows and I would very much love it if you can add that to the app and the app would have five stars after that.

Awesome Service, Excellent Prices and Beautiful Stores. I have been shopping at Total Wine for 5+ years now. Not only do they have excellent customer service, the pricing is reasonable and the stores are beautiful! I enjoy going in usually, but the convenience of curbside pick-up has come in handy on many occasions. I would give them 100 stars if asked, but 5 is the max. 😉 I highly recommend anyone who shops other stores try Total Wine, because you will never choose another liquor store to go to after going there!

Is that all there is?. Usually when a subject line or topic starts out with “Is that all there is?” It’s followed up by some negative connotation. Not in this case! I ask because I want to put more than five stars. Can I put 6, 7 or 10? How about a nice round number like 100? In all my interactions with the app or in-person, over five local stores, and dozens of transactions, within a six month stretch, I have received all orders correctly, cordial and helpful staff, immediate curbside service, and industry-leading pricing. What can I say? Total Wine has made an impact on me and I will be a loyal customer for a long time.

Easy to use and worth it.. Easy to use app. Delivery and pick up options are easy to switch between. Text updates are available so you know when to expect your delivery. Filters are great for shopping (ie in stock items only, etc). If you’re an impulse buyer, the app keeps you better grounded. I enjoy not having to drive in, and I can pick my delivery window so I can go about my day, and know it’ll show up when and where I need it.

Loves Total Wine. The staff is incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable, the app is perfect, and they have gone above and beyond for me numerous times. I cannot say enough. There are certain smaller stores in my area that just cannot compare to how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is, which is surprising, given that it is a big box store. Some local stores cannot touch their prices, and their selection, but, once again, most importantly, their customer service, and their level of professionalism.

So Easy. Love this app it makes looking for what you want so easy! I feel like the way that they have it set up is very user-friendly, it even tells you where to find it in store when you are there. Which is even better if you’re like me and you don’t like to ask for help from the staff sometimes. The only thing that I wish is they had a suggest or a spot in the app where you could ask for a certain kind of alcohol, or if they have it in nearby stores.

Love picking up with ease. Placing an order for my wine needs is easier than ever! I love it. The only thing holding me back for saying this is perfect is that i often have to re-enter my credit card and I’m typically making my alcohol purchases during stressful meetings, or while hiding out in the bathroom from my family. Apple Pay would be a nice addition to be able to make payments so i don’t have to find that darn wallet or emerge from my hiding place. Other than that, i just placed an order so i can have the perfect Mother’s Day.

Amazing magical booze app!. This app is amazing— I touch the screen of my iPhone a number of times when this app is open, then I drive down the road and someone puts a box of wine in my trunk! Who could ask for anything more? Well, I could. The app makes me put in my credit card information every time I get the hankering for the devil’s liquid. That extra 20 seconds of screen tapping bums me out and makes my poor fingies oh so tired. Why can’t this app remember my payment details? WHY?! But yeah, other than that this app is great and a real time saver.

Will not allow me to add payment. The program may not be compatible with iPhones upgrade because it wouldn’t allow me to update a payment method. This is the reason for the low rating. I updated my rating because the developers reached out letting me know the app had been updated and the issue was addressed! Easy as 1-2-3. In my experience, there are few things that work well in the online order business. Sometimes the app gets overly complicated, or it is hard to navigate, or the app lists things that aren’t available, or your order gets split into a bunch of little orders that come at different times, or some darn thing irritates me. Haven’t had a shred of trouble with total wines and more, so I could not be happier. I love these guys! App is easy, selection is good, and the pickup process is simple. Keep up the good work!

Best Wine & Spirits Store. Not only do they have a great selection and the best prices of any store in the area, the staff is terrific in helping you with a selection if you’re unsure or wanting to try something new. It’s never like you’re just a customer coming in, you’re more like a friend returning to visit — a welcomed smile, a friendly hello, and people wanting you to have a nice experience while shopping. If that was t enough, the buy-and-pick-up service is fast, and they deliver to most areas. What more could you want?

Auto-Cancelled Order 2x. As soon as I placed an order, the order summary window showed it was cancelled. Called support like it said and they kept telling me the same thing “it’s tied to order limits; 2 per person per day.” I told them that I have not ordered anything in the last 30 days, and never ordered this specific product. Then they said “use another card and reorder because it’s tied to the card and the order limit of 2 per person per day.” After going round and round, I told them I would reorder it with a new card. Same thing happened. I am abiding by the order limit of 2 per person per day, but isn’t working. How is this convenient?? Ridiculous

App needs work!. First, I opened the app and it couldn’t search for the wine I wanted. Kept telling me there was an error. Then I tried other wines and got the same error message. Then after 4-5 minutes, it seemed to be working again, like it had to download a database of information before the search function could work correctly. Then I selected my wines (great prices BTW!), then went to check out and it keep telling me that there was something wrong with my information. So I tried multiple credit cards, and still no dice. Then I put my apt number in the “address field” and then put my address in the “apartment field” and it worked! Bad user experience, but great prices!

Best Liquor Store in Arlington. Total Wine & Spirits is the only liquor store I shop at anymore. They have the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff who are always glad to help me find just what I’m looking for. They have recommended several excellent wines and bourbons that we would have never tried. Their prices are great, and they give free taste samples on Friday’s and Saturday’s!! My buddies and I love shopping there on weekends, trying and buying new spirits, and getting great deals on what we like. It’s like Christmas every week!!!!

Great Service. I didn’t see the email that they were out of stock on an item and was surprised when my order wasn’t ready. The CSR worked with me, found an even better deal, reminded me when I forgot an item that had been in my original order and brought me my completed order within 15 minutes, even when the app said I could not pick up until the next day. Thank you Inmanuel , sorry I am not sure how close I am to your real name.

Worst app ever. Used it 3 different times and each time it declined my card along with putting my card on hold due to fraud. That they caused to happen. I have cal coast with more then enough money to cover some over priced alcohol that I will now purchase elsewhere thx to there endless inconveniences. Don’t recommend to anyone unless you like wasting time going to the bank. Or if your into sitting on hold all day long on the phone waiting to speak to a live person. With that said, now I will no longer “try” to use the app and I will no longer be shopping at the store. Thx to its inconvenience yet again for the 3rd time I have to get a whole new card. Thx for nothing total wine.

Easy to order at a nearby TW. We’re on vacation but were able to find a Total Wine & More Store and pick up curbside, rather than toting a box from home. It takes a little bit of time and patience to find the right vintage and understand how to order online but I trust Total Wine’s standing by their products and reputation. They also hire the best kind of employee who love the vintages, beers, spirits and all and are willing to help with a certain joy we need in these stressful time.

Love Total Wine. One thing that I love is the app so easy and convenient it always saves me time, because going into the store (which I love their stores). I will literally spend over an hour checking out all of the selections and new products tastings etc...... The purchase on the app allows me to just step into the store and leave quickly when you have a busy schedule and the delivery option is awesome as well always great people making your deliveries. What can you they are the Total Wine store and much more!

better than DRZLEY AND SAUCY AND RIPCART. better than drizey!!!first time using this app directly instead of ripcart, liked the amount of delivery's times, huge selection of ipas but also various others from same brewery NOT available. hope it's a release thing or a limited stock thing, as almost all but 5 altamonts and none of the russian rivers where available. not too bad in price given craft beers, but the delivery fee was substantial 9.99$ for day of ? can this be lowered with membership, more $ spent? just pickup it seems as the closest one is 15miles away .

One of the easiest retail apps hands down. I have been shopping at Total Wine for years and finally ordered online for curbside pickup through the website a year or two ago. Was so impressed with how quickly, efficiently, and accurately my orders were always fulfilled. Finally downloaded the app, and it is even better. Love the user friendly layout but was really impressed by the in-store mode, for the infrequent times I am sent to buy something that I am completely unfamiliar with. Cheers!

Love Total Wine. This store is amazing. I always get great deals and discounts on my favorite wines. Sometimes I go there and enjoy checking out the different wines available, but the app reduces the time for shopping down to a few minutes when I don’t have the time to shop there. The app also has many different discount options. I just got 12 bottles at 20% off! I have a friend that visits from a country where alcohol is illegal. When I took him there he called the experience orgasmic.

Lately not so good…. As of late the app is not cooperative with accepting changes to your account such as address or preferred store as it always errors out. This is something that should be easy, but only leads to unnecessary frustration. On the flip side, this app is great for looking up most if not all types of liquor. Even if not buying from Total wine, it’s still a great resource of information for ratings, price comparison, and membership benefits. Would be even better if more folks left feedback on products purchased. Still the app is nice to have if your a member like myself, but some improvements can be made.

Super easy to use and no product markup!. Super easy to use & no addinal markup on items like other delivery services. The delivery fee is relative but it’s so worth it to simply search for what you want. Not to mention free pickup. I still like to go in to talk with employees on their opinions and course the tastings 😆 So know the next time you look at drizzly or door dash or ubereats check that price to total wine. I have only see. 1 time that publix had a buy one get one on Vizzia or other hard seltzers. Other than that they’re the one!

Great pickup option!. I’m a semi-educated but dedicated wine drinker. Before curbside pickup, I would wander the store looking at the huge array of wines and try to remember my favorites, or conversely I would wander the aisles trying to find one I remembered that we enjoyed. Now with online ordering, no more time wasted! Not only does it keep track of my wine drinking history but it knows where everything is! Now I just drive up, pop the trunk, and my favs are handed to me on a silver platter (a.k.a. Cardboard box!). Drive home and get to drinkin’. Thank you Total Wine.

Much better than spec’s app. I’m from Houston and was excited when I saw Spec’s had a new app. After trying it once, it sucked. I immediately downloaded Total Wine’s app and it was logically laid out and easy to use and filter. Payment was simple too. My biggest complaint about the Spec’s app, the lack of transparency about whether my pick up order was in store or curbside, well Total Wine got that right too. It was easy for me to choose curbside right from the app. You have a new loyal customer here! Thank you! :)

Everything I ever want In a wine store. I’m totally impressed with Total Wines’ selection, pricing, value and their customer service. I’ve been a member for a couple of years and started shopping on the app for curbside pickup in late 2020. The order has always been correct and curbside delivery is very fast too. When I do go into the store, I’m greeted and helped as needed. I’m only bummed when out of town and not near a Total Wine store therefore forced to buy wine in a grocery store or pricey market. That’s when I appreciate TW even more.

Lousy website unable to retain billing information. I’ve been using this website for the better part of the year since Covid maybe so two years anyway every time I sign on they cannot retain my billing address and I have to go through the whole rigmarole to get my billing address in. I can’t imagine I’m the only person that uses their office as their billing address and their home as the delivery address I don’t know why they have such a problem with this but it infuriates me. If they weren’t so far away from me I would not use them and I don’t like to go there anyway because it’s like Home Depot for wine which is overwhelming but it’s something I do use for delivery! Argh -INCompetent webmasters!

Easiest way to order for my group. It was my turn to make the Total Wine run for my bridge club which I always dread. When I took the order from the girls I got online to make sure it was not out of stock. I found out there was a mobile app—🤩so easy. Also found out they delivered 🤩😁😂HOW GREAT 😊 saved time 😄saved gas 🙃What more could I want and it was so easy — even I understood it. On top of that they save the order so next time we need it we can just click and 💥 we have it. Wonders never cease.

Online orders. Very convenient & pick up options (in store or brought to car) are mindful of people with living with medical & mobility challenges. Wine info essential & customer rating narratives, I find helpful. Would like employee wine recommendations included for online products, similar to what they have in store. All in all, I’ve found my experience with Short Pump location very helpful & email discounts & coupons are always helpful!

Customer Suggestion. Great re-design of the app. Customer info easy to update and checkout process is a snap. Easy to navigate for specials and I like that any rewards you have show at checkout (just have to select/click on them to use them). I would suggest for the app to show all eligible customer rewards under the Total Discovery page/tab so that customers can view their current eligible rewards. Further, it might be a positive attribute for customers to see past rewards that they’ve earned/spent so they can see/remember the benefits of membership.

LOVE THE CONVENIENCE!. If you haven’t tried this process of purchasing your wine, you should do so immediately. The app is very easy to use. One can pay on line with ease. One can select pick up time from their times available list. AND…. this is my FAVORITE part…. Drive up to curbside pick up parking, let them know you have arrived and they bring it to your car and load it up! ( I just wish I had some one on my end ready to unload once home!)

Friendly Delivery, But No Online Tipping. It is frustrating when you want to tip the driver for excellent service but don’t have cash on hand. The app should have that option. Maybe it’s a state law or something? Every other food/delivery service we use allows for tipping online. Also, I sometimes cancel before placing orders after 5pm since by that point there is a low chance of a same day delivery. That said, the delivery guys have always been friendly and very accommodating. Keep up the good work!

Why didn’t I try this sooner?. I downloaded the app amid COVID to limit having to go into the store, but the convenience of ordering online & having it ready so quickly is amazing. My Woodbury, MN location knocks it out of park with their service. I really hope curbside continues even after the pandemic because I would continue to be a client. They are so efficient! The app is easy to use & I haven’t had a single issue after several order in the past 5 months. This is how I will likely continue my business going forward, if possible.

For the little guy. I have been purchasing from Total Wine & More since they opened in Kennesaw. I have received many of their emails about specials. They were for quantities of wine that were more than I usually purchase, and for other specials. I always use my phone number at the checkout. Today I received an email to download their app. Turns out that I have accumulated a number of points over the years. Finally the little guy will get something for his LOYALTY.

Love the Deals page; could it be enhanced…?. I use my Deals page on the app often, especially to see which new deals are available to me to activate! However, as a Reserve tier member I have to use my monthly email barcode to get my free gift bag and free magazine. Is there a way these barcodes could be stored in the app monthly or become an activate deal like the others I use? Otherwise I have to keep the email and search for it in a crazy inbox at the register. Thanks for making such cool deals!

So quick and easy I love it!. I have quite a large amount of spirits, I guess you could say I collect them. Every time I go on Total Wines website I find new and interesting spirits to add to my collection. In addition to spirits they have the best selection of wines and beers, not to mention tons of mixers, garnishes and bar ware. The app makes it so easy to browse and pay and the orders are usually ready before I leave my house!! Just an excellent app and store. I wish there was one closer to my house I drive 45 minutes to get my order but it’s totally worth it.

Really Good Service. Total Wine has a great selection of wines and spirits. we mostly order for delivery. Delivery has been very reliable with only one time a bit of a mess up out of maybe 50 orders. That’s not so bad. The only negative is that it’s quite difficult to change your order after you’ve placed it. There should be someway you can go in before they actually commit to delivery and be allowed to change part of the order. That’s about the only thing I think is negative. Cheers

Problem: Doesn’t Honor/Default to Preferred Store Preference. I was ready to give this five stars until I looked at the pickup location for the order I placed a few minutes ago. Even though my Preferred Store is the one at the north end of my city, the pick-up order I placed went to the store at the southwest edge of the city. I had to call them so they could cancel it (and issue a refund) and I had to create the order again, and this time manually selector where it was going (again, it ignored the Preferred Store). Very poor programming business logic; it should default to a location is saved in the preferences, not guess based on GPS coordinates or address.

Good prices and selection. I love total Wine and more… And I go to the store every few months to stock up on my favorite liquors and wines. They have a great selection and some liquors that are hard to find in other stores.I don’t mind paying the delivery fee if I can’t make it out that way since the store is not close. Ordering in the app is so user-friendly. I do wish they were more sales on the items I purchased regularly and I delivery was free for orders over a certain amount, but the prices and availability usually make up for this.

Very Difficult to order on app now. Today is the third time I tried to place an order on the app. I put my spirit choices in the cart. Went to checkout. Picked the delivery date. Today between 6 and 7 pm. Entered my credit card number, which I have used previously, and voilà!!! There’s an error in my purchase. I have double and triple checked everything. This is the third time trying. And for the third time I lost my delivery window, and my patience. For the third time I am driving to Walmart because it is closer and easier to drive to. Obviously I don’t mind spending the extra money for the convenience of home delivery. Why did it all go so smoothly the first time, but not the next three? Please, let’s get that app fixed.

Easy to use. Easy to use and intuitive makes purchasing items. Much easier than shopping in the store. The one thing I would improve if possible, would be to expand the option to look at stores farther away from my location. It would be nice, for example, to look at what stores in Atlanta had as well as what stores in the Orlando area had. It is possible to look at stores from other locations, but it is not easy.
