Doesn’t work with smart bikes!?. Ok, so Peloton owns this space and Nordic is trying to enter it. Good for them. To enter a space and do exactly the same thing as the market leader is, well, to put it kindly its probably not the best course. Currently Peloton has a big installed base of bikes and an even bigger installed base of app users. Peloton treats the app users as second class citizens (slow releases of functionality, not all the classes, not as timely access, etc) which makes financial sense for Peloton as the hope is it will drive someone to a Peloton bike but most importantly the over priced subscription. Let’s call this the Apple model. What if someone came along and offered a more open ecosystem. That could be Nordic. Make the bikes, sure and the service they connect to also but the thing they aren’t doing is offering iFit for people with smart bikes and making it a first class experience. It would cost virtually nothing to do other than enabling open protocols that are well leveraged by Zwift, Sufferfest, et. al. It increases the addressable market almost overnight. Everyone who has a smart bike becomes a possible subscriber. Duh! This space needs more competition, I hope Nordic sees the light and changes course.

Great Workouts but app needs to improve. I have the Norditrack Bike which is great but using it with IFit is hard. There are many workouts where you combine cycle with weights and you need to step off the bike. If that happens and for wtv reason you need to pause your workout then there’s no way to resume it (it will only give you the option to end the workout or resume movement, but because you are now off the bike it doesn’t sense the movement). I’ve had to end workouts without finishing because of this and also it doesn’t allow you to fast forward the workout so you cannot continue where you left out. This happens on the phone as well, sometimes workouts don’t get saved. Because you can’t fast forward you cannot preview the workouts. I feel the whole point of working out at home is that you can adapt it to you but the app doesn’t allow that. To my example if I need to step off the bike to do abs I need to move the screen and fix my mat (because I’m not in a gym) well you’ll end up missing part of the workout because you can’t pause and resume.

New Travel Buddy. I purchased my Nordic track iFit treadmill in May 2023, and since then it has become my most favorite tool in my toolbox to offer me a better quality of life. I have greatly enjoyed the scenic routes, the education of the location and the inspiration to commit with education on choices for a better quality of life. I recently added the app onto my phone, and I love it now I have my favorite trainers with me wherever I go no matter what day of the week. What time of the day I am set. This is by far one of the best investments I have done for myself in the last 15 years special shout out to Chris and Stacey Clark. Thank you so much for consistently having well rounded workouts. I have gained such knowledge about the mechanics of the body, the mind and spirit to connect and drive to have a better. I love the fact that you’re also and at times touch in on your family life and marriage make it personal relatable and so much more. Overall, I am like an internal toddler saying why and you’re providing answers. I have done one on one personal training in the past. But I have a game, more knowledge and understanding through the programs offered here. I just started following Nicole Meline in Montana series, she is a burst of sunshine! When I go to work on Monday, my coworkers consistently ask, where did you travel to this weekend? Lol LOVE IT! Thank you I fit

Loving this app!. UPDATED REVIEW: I found out I wasn’t on the most current iPhone update and once I updated it, the app started working. I have been doing the walking Italy series and Jamaica yoga series and love them both! I love how they go to the most amazing locations, the music feature is awesome and has the option for different types and the trainers are top notch. I have an old treadmill so I can’t hook directly into it, but I just use my phone during the walking workouts and it works just fine for me. There are still some glitchy moments every once in a while where something doesn’t load, but seems like if I wait a few minutes when that happens, it goes away and things start working again. I’m excited to continue using this app!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: App doesn’t work (1 star) Couldn’t get any video to play or even pages to load. Kept saying there was an error and try again. Try again button didn’t even work. I have latest iPhone updates. Love idea of app, but how are you supposed to workout when nothing plays or loads in the app?

Love the workouts, but.... When I first purchased my Proform treadmill, I had zero desire to use the IFIT app. However, after one workout, I fell in love! I’ve been using the machine and following workouts on the app for 6 weeks, and I’m obsessed with several of the walking and running series available. The reason I did not give the app 5 stars is because it is missing what I think is a major component, video controls. I have been kicked out of two workouts recently (which could be a glitch itself), but when I tried to resume I found that there is no way to skip ahead to get to the place I paused, without starting the workout from scratch! As a mother of young children, it’s inevitable that I will need to pause or even temporarily stop my workout to take care of my children. I don’t have the time to restart my workout, especially when I’m already 20 minutes in. Video controls that would allow me to pick up my workout at any point would be so helpful. Or maybe some other type of save and resume function would be great. Either way, I do love the IFIT app, I just need a little more flexibility in controlling the workouts!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I like the trainers and courses in the app, however, iFIT customer service is atrocious. They very sneakily signed me up for the family plan instead of the individual (there were no options given to me during signup), and I was unable to change the plan without completely cancelling. This wouldn’t normally be a problem, however I had a 1 year free gift card that came with the purchase of equipment, but it only covers the individual plan, and I am being billed the difference between the family and individual plan. You can’t make membership changes online, and when you call customer service, they are nonexistent, they don’t answer the call, and option 1 does not work from their prerecorded options, it doesn’t even recognize you selecting that option (which is conveniently Billing and the option to have them call you back). This treatment is so disgusting that I would NEVER recommend this to anyone I know. I’m tempted to return the equipment and remove the charges from my credit card. I can’t believe they are still in business, they must be cleaning all their reviews and deleting the negative ones. Definitely avoid this app. So disappointed.

The best purchase in years.. I absolutely love my Ifit subscription. I will be turning 60 this year and have never in my life worked out as consistently, as I do now. I always found going on a treadmill to be so boring that I rarely used it. Now, I look forward to a walk or a jog because I love exploring new places. Even though I have never visited the countries in person, I feel as if I have travelled through all of Vietnam and Portugal and have to remind myself that I haven’t actually been there when someone asked me if I ever travelled to those places! Also, I rely on my chest strap which keeps my heart rate in a target zone. My treadmill incline and speed adjust to keep me just where I need to be. When I’m off the treadmill, I do Ifit yoga classes and strength training—so I get a full body workout without needing any other equipment. I look and feel better than I have in years. Someone will probably think this is a fake review, but it isn’t. Thank you!

Awesome Concept - functionality not so much. Let’s start with the positive; love the outdoor class options, live options are limited but are decent, trainers are educated, motivating and scenery is great. Love the interactive nature of the bike with the trainers such as incline/decline adjustments. Feel like you are really there. Negatives: App on Nordictrack S22i bike times out often, cumulative workout data works sporadically (frustrating esp when you are trying to stay motivated and track time on the bike and mileage). Error messages pop up frequently when ‘saving’ workouts and they don’t save all the time. Should have an option to manually add workouts to be sure things are tracked. App on the iPhone doesn’t show cumulative data at all (don’t know if it’s weekly or total stats - should have all those options) and Bluetooth option doesn’t work with the app/bike. No search functionality which is annoying. Filter options are decent though. System often buffers and sometimes historical ride data doesn’t show up at all. I even tried uninstalling and installing, clearing the cache, etc.....need to get this infrastructure fixed or people will get frustrated and go elsewhere. I’ve had better luck with regular Iphone apps like map my run for the tracking aspect - at least it doesn’t lose the data! Hope all of this gets improved as it has a lot of great potential and I love the bike but yikes on all of the issues!

IFIT Stability across Platforms. I truly appreciate the workouts and trainers. Walking, running, and yoga workouts are great! The app however consistently gets in the way of my ability to easily access those workouts. On the treadmill, several minutes are wasted while the workouts load—or I am exited out altogether and forced to sign in again. The workouts available to me on my phone are different from my iPad, and different from the IFIT app on Roku. Even when I favorite a series or workout, my ability to see it varies by device and I waste time finding workouts previously identified. Finally, despite paying the subscription fee, the rewards promised fail to come through. I completed over 100 workouts in late November/early December of 2021 —I can no longer check as my log was wiped at the start of the new year. I received a message that I earned a t-shirt and would be contacted shortly via email for fulfillment. No such email ever arrived. I do not have more time to waste chasing down rewards that should be automatic and, barring changes in email/contact info, foolproof. I want to give a better rating because the content is very good, but delivery at this point is sorely lacking.

So much unmet potential. I love the idea of IFIT with the ability to control my machine’s speed and incline during workouts, keep me in my hr zones etc. Unfortunately, it works terribly. Peloton is 1000x better!! I’m constantly having issues with the app. I have a NT 6.5S which only has a little 1” screen so I have to rely on the app. The active pulse and smart adjust doesn’t work from the iPhone (or phones in general is my understanding) so you must use a tablet. I’ve had so many connection issues with it seeing my hr monitor or being able to cast to my TV. Sometimes it will only decrease my speed when my hr is too high but never increase my speed when it gets low again. The UI is also pretty clunky. It’s hard to find specific workouts and you can’t see past workouts within the app. You have to login to your IFIT account online. I’ve tried contacting help a few times with some of the issues and they are also terrible. If they do respond, it’s about 2 weeks later and miraculously they always claim the issue is with my tablet or my hr monitor - never with the app or anything they will help with. Oddly, I don’t have issues with the hr monitor or iPad using ANY other apps except IFIT. Like I said, I think their concept is great, if they could just make it work like it’s intended and reliably. Or at least admit their faults when things don’t work instead of just brushing you off and telling you it’s some other problem I might have given it 3 stars.

GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!. I cannot express how much I love our new NordicTrack treadmill but more importantly the IFIT subscription. This has been the most fun and exciting workout experience I’ve ever had. I’ve tried gyms of all kinds and other workout videos but I have never found anything I was very interested in continuing. Since starting 4 weeks ago, I have looked forward to getting up 5 days a week to jump on the treadmill and I can’t wait to get home from work to get on it AGAIN! I have NEVER felt that way about any exercise! I started with the Italy Walking series with Chris and Stacie Clark and I am HOOKED. They did an amazing job on the series and I was even teary-eyed when I finished the last one yesterday - so I started it again! I am just floored at how it really feels like you are there with them and even though I can’t talk to them, it feels like I know them. They and IFIT have changed my and my husbands lives! I have a goal of losing 65 pounds this year and running a half marathon when I can’t even run a mile yet but I am so inspired, I know IFIT will help me get there!!

iFIT Review. I stopped going to the gym March of 2020 and just did my own workouts at home. On Dec. 2020 my husband bought me the Nordic Track cycling bike and only did cycling. Love their cycling programs and trainers from all over the world, it incentivizes me to travel. The bike automatically adjusts to follow the trainer or you can adjust to your level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) or you can just manually adjust the incline and resistance yourself. I also like that I can calibrate the bike too. I love it! No problem with the bike at this time. On Jan. 2022, I decided to try all the fitness workouts they have, from strength, Pilates, yoga, etc. Again, most of them are good, some trainers are better than others according to your style. I’m mostly a beginner/intermediate and the workouts can be from 10- to 45-minutes, depending on how much time you have. In short, iFIT allows you to work at your own pace and in the privacy of your home. They have training programs and challenges for individuals who are competitive and wish to travel. So far, this year, I have done 120 workouts and continue to enjoy it. They also have guided meditation and nutrition classes that I have not tried. I hope this review helps you and I wish you good health (body/mind/spirit). Thank you iFIT!

Inspiring coaches in places I’ve never been. I started using the app seriously about 3 years ago at the age of 56. My wife had been diagnosed with ALS and I needed to make sure I was in my best shape to take care of her. I had a hybrid elliptical / recumbent bike and a treadmill that had not been used in a few years. I started with Stacie Clark and CrossFit workouts on the elliptical. I tried some of the bike workouts too. Then, I discovered Tommy Rivers Puzey and his Iberian series. That motivated me to move from the elliptical. I cleared off the treadmill and started running again. In 6 months I dropped 20 pounds and was ready for my first 5k in over 20 years. I came in under 30 minutes and that was a huge personal victory for me. When I got home from it, I gave the finisher medal to my wife. We’ve built up a collection of them now from 5k and 7k races I’ve run, sometimes with our adult children trying to keep up with the “old man”. The variety of trainers and activities keep me going. I replaced the hybrid with an elliptical and the s22i bike, and added a rower. I was prompted to write this review after finishing one of Alex Gregory’s sessions rowing off the coast of Brazil. I get up early to start my day with some “me” time and I have iFit to thank for having so many options with one app for all of the equipment.

IFIT app. I am in love with iFIT! I have had my iFIT treadmill since 2012 and had no idea how amazing working out with the iFIT trainers was! I started using it in May 2021 and will be using it as long as I can! I have a rower and a road bike that I can use the app to do workouts unpaired and be lead by amazing trainers. I have two favorite things about the app. The first is that it automatically controls my treadmill’s speed and incline when I do one of the workouts from the app, all while the trainer leads me on my treadmill screen and/or my phone app. I simply schedule it and it automatically sends to my treadmill. The second is the trainer takes to amazing places all around the world and teaches us about the local culture and history in very thoughtful ways, as well as teaches us about the physiology, exercise science, and nutrition! I’ve been a runner from junior high to college and beyond, but I’m learning every day from these absolutely professional trainers! Oh! And the live classes and challenges are an added bonus! You’ll never stop challenging yourself or learning just by using the app!

Best Decision I Ever Made!. There aren’t words to describe how iFit has improved my life. In February 2021 I decided to upgrade my treadmill, I thought I wouldn’t even use the program that came with it. After that I thought “OK it’s free for a year, I’ll use it and then just cancel it”.These trainers are phenomenal, the locations and views are spectacular, and the community has been above and beyond! Customer service has been fabulous and I have looked forward to my work out every day. I will GLADLY pay for my iFit subscription when my year is up. The live races, milestone swag, and the Facebook group has been a tremendous amount of support and a strong sense of community. I even signed up for a live race in December that I will run in person with iFit and a treasured friend I have made through the program! The only decision I have to make is if I will purchase a bike or a rower next!! Thank you doesn’t even begin to describe the gratitude I feel for iFit and all it has give me. If you are on the fence, just jump in- you won’t regret it!

Fantastic. Have always been majority weightlifting for my workouts and very little cardio. As I age, I am noticing that I really need to flip or balance my workouts a bit… the problem is I hate running. It’s always felt monotonous and boring for excessive amounts of time in order to get anything out of it. Lo and behold, I purchase a treadmill during the early days of the pandemic, which came with a free 30 day trial of iFIT. Like most trials, the intention was to let it expire and use the treadmill manually while watching TV thereafter. Two years have passed and I still have my iFIT subscription. I would not be getting the daily use out of my treadmill if I didn’t have it, and all the benefits of starting my day with a two or three mile run. I have done multiple series multiple times, and keep finding new interesting tidbits of information at each location. It’s inspiring my wife and I to travel to some of these locations now that we can do that again! Lastly, if you spot a run or a series with Casey Gilbert as your host trainer: do it. I’ve had to pause my workouts from time to time because his asides had me laughing too hard.

Love the app but missing one thing!. I have been hooked on iFit since I got my new treadmill in January and I struggle to get off I love it so much. There’s so much variety in terms of workouts and challenges and there so many trainers you are sure to find a ton you enjoy working out with. My only criticism is that (unless I’m mistaken) you cannot schedule workouts from the app. It would be a life save to be able to schedule workouts from the browse/live calendar and then have push notifications on your phone to remind you when they are coming up. Right now I’m having to set my own reminders in Google and even though this works it would be great to have it all in the one app. Then you could look at the calendar within the iFit app and it could show you your future scheduled workouts. Right now the calendar on the app seems like more of a history than a calendar or schedule. Keep up the good work!!

Wonderful trainers and locations!!!. I got my new treadmill with iFit on Sept 1st. I’ve done a couple of hundred workouts since then... I am SO excited to see new places and meet new trainers. Depending on my progress I will sometimes switch up ‘series’ and trainers during a given week. What I love most about iFit is the variety. The photography is excellent, I also like being able to override the trainer. When I do an override it’s usually because I’m doing several workouts in a day and I skip the “warm up” that precedes the workout and I tend to increase speed and/or elevation at the start (the warmup that’s part of the workout). A couple of changes I’d like to see in iFit are the ability to stop and save a workout and then pick it up where I left off previously at a later time. I’d also like to be able to save searches. IF I search for a particular trainer or type of workout I’d like the ability to SAVE that search... this could easily be implemented. Lastly, the “disclaimer” that is mandatory and precedes the WARM up could easily be removed if users agree to a stipulation via a DocuSign affidavit that we’re aware of the risk etc. This could be renewed annually.

Something for everyone. I absolutely love the journeys I take with the trainers. Love how my treadmill adjust automatically to what they are doing. Walking stopped feeling like a workout and now it feels like an adventure. Even my husband loves it and recommends it to all his fellow employees! Funny story… I was walking in Aruba on ifit, when my husband called me and told me his job was transferring him to Aruba for 2-6 years. I currently live in Aruba and did those walks in person. I still do them on the treadmill with Stacy and Chris in the air conditioning! Haha Thank you iFit for helping this middle aged woman trying to keep fit. I have minor lower back and hip issues and I can still find a workout that doesn’t cause me more pain. I am inspired by the trainers positivity and motivation. Stacy, Chris, Nicole, and Paulo are a few of my favorites and who I have tried. Excited to try more workouts by other trainers in the future! So much is offered, I haven’t had the opportunity yet, which is exciting because I will never get bored!

No connection to Apple products? Is this 1999?. Update on 9/6/21: my treadmill says 3 miles, 307 calories. My watch says 2.75 miles and 256 calories. NordicTrack/iFit should get a deal with Apple to sync. I wish I waited for the peloton treadmill to have a price cut. It’s now $600 less than my NT 1750 and syncs with Apple Watch and AirPods with ease. IFit has amazing workouts and educated trainers for running and walking on my NT treadmill. A few things led to my mediocre review… 1)Even though my treadmill has Bluetooth, connecting iFit to AirPods takes an engineering degree. When I use my Peloton bike, it’s so simple a toddler could do it. 2)Since iFit has their own smart watch, iFit will not sync your treadmill with your Apple Watch. GET A DEAL DONE ALREADY! What prompted my review was the 289 calories burned on my treadmill and 188 on my watch. My watch doesn’t know when I’m at a 15% incline! 3) I’m supposed to have a full year of training with the purchase of my NT treadmill but my treadmill didn’t arrive until mid-February 2021 and my membership expires on January 1, 2022. A year is a full 365 days and not 320 days.

A work in progress. I really enjoy the I fit app I am a 55 year old man, I enjoy running some times I fall off but I always come back. My life changed last year after a traumatic event in my life the loss of a child in June in November I started running again I ended the year with 50 plus runs for the year. I had not ran much until that point. This year I have ran 36 times and it’s the end of February Well we are halfway through the new year 2023 and I have completed 83 runs so far this year.I have lost some weight and gained some muscle I am really enjoying this journey. It has been a year since I started my I fit journey I use the app daily. I have logged 264 workouts this year so far the year is not over. I have went from 226 lbs. down to 192 lbs. This has been a great change for me I enjoy my workouts A year later I am still running strong I use the IFIT app daily if not on the treadmill I use it outside as well. My mind set has changed when it comes to physical fitness it’s a part of me.

Phone app and smart tv app don’t connect. I love the spin bike and treadmill however, I have reported to I fit numerous times with no resolve the above issue. On the TV it states that you can search workouts by keyword or a trainer. Key words have brought me to Ted Talks with Elon Musk when I search for build and burn- a series by a fantastic trainer John Peel. I can search under John Peel and view about 650 workouts by him however, none are in order or categorized in series names or numerically. Very frustrating. However, you can search for a series by name on the phone app BUT it doesn’t stream to the TV so trying to do a workout watching your phone is difficult. I cannot a dupe the workouts to my tV as they don’t interface and there is no calendar on the TV app. I have expressed this shortcoming to iFit a few times and they open support tickets to close them within 20 minutes and the issue remains unsolved. It would seem like an easy fix to categorize workouts by series and in order as well as keywords as they suggest. I find it more odd to have Ted Talks pop up within their I fit app as well. The workouts and trainers are phenomenal. This shortcomings need to be addressed however. Please get this corrected iFit and train your support people better. They try hard but don’t seem well educated. Invest in your people and improve the functionality and streaming capabilities of your phone, TV and library.

One great way to see the Aviano Park. I bumped up the speed and the incline a little but a great walk. I really prefer the outdoor walks / hikes since I like the scenery. Cannot wait for Michigan series. May I suggest Isle Royale National Park as one location. New entry: in the process of the Tommy Rivers workout in Iberia/Moroccan. What a series. History, culture, and geographic awareness all come together to create an exceptional workout experience. Broadened my horizons thanks to Tommy’s narrative. In Chile with Paola B. This is the end of week 4 for me, one week to go. After a bout with Covid at the end of May, I have been returning to my workouts after several weeks off. Looking forward to getting back my strength and endurance. This is a great location with a motivating guide. Chris and Stacey Clark workouts are motivating and teach proper form and approach to fitness exercise. I have completed two of their series and now on the third in St. Lucia. I like the historical profiles the Clark’s provide and wish more of that. But the workouts are achievable and result in prep for the next level.

Ifit review. I really like the nordictrack equipment but wish it was compatible with other fitness programs besides ifit. Ifit seems to depend on the user experience to correct its software issues which wastes SO much time. Its worse than having to call health insurance companies. You end up having to go through so many troubleshooting steps which make no sense most of the time and the majority of the time get no resolutions. Most of the work outs that are available aren’t uploaded into all of the equipments, which is strange. I have 3 relatively new different nordictrack machines and each screen displays different work outs even though they should all include minimally the same strength based workouts. What’s most disappointing is that the mirror, which should have all strength based workouts, does not have all of them uploaded to the software ifit has for it. I know this because I browsed through the app on my phone. What’s the point of buying the equipment and paying for this software to make the most of it if you’re going to force people to work out on their phone screens. It makes no sense. I can’t even remember the last time the row had a software update and it’s not because it doesn’t experience glitches. It’s neglect on the part of the ifit team. So overall, I’m highly dissatisfied with ifit and dread anytime I’m forced to contact their customer service team.

App needs to be fixed. I love iFIT and have been using these workouts for 3 and a half years now via the app. I am however continuously upset at the amount of workouts I complete but the app does not save. I will finish my cool down and then it will say “Workouts less than 1 minute are not saved.” I’ve tried ending the cool down earlier to see if that helps and same error message. It doesn’t happen all the time but enough where I’m frustrated. This happens to me at least 4-5 times a month. Today was a new frustrating experience. With 5 minutes left in my workout the screen froze, then turned black. Music kept playing and I pressed the screen and it was just giving me option to pause and play but screen was completely black when I pressed play. When I paused it just told me the name of the song playing. At the end of the day my Apple Watch is tracking my workout but if I’m following a series and it tells me I haven’t completed a workout I just did, then how can I continue the series and complete it unless I go back and do it again at some point. Which I do, but sometimes it doesn’t save leaving me doubly frustrated. Please fix this from happening to people so frequently. Program is great, app needs improvement. Okay, I want to start with the positive. The iFIT program is great. The trainers are great, and the equipment is works will with the program. However, there is a lot of room for improvement in the app. The app has 2 big problems. 1) An incoming phone call can interrupt the program, cause it to stop or pause or go out of sync with the workout on the app, and there is no way to fast-forward to resync. Your only option is to start over from the beginning sometimes. 2) The navigation for searching for a workout needs to be simplified. If you want to follow 2 different series at the same time, or jump out of your current series to do a quick one-off workout, it is difficult to go back and find the series you were working on. There should be a simple way to browse “recently played” workouts, similar to how music apps work. There should also be a way to easily find a 20 min or 30 min workout with your favorite trainer through a search. Sometimes it takes 10 mins to find a good workout, which is not good when you only had 30 mins to spare to workout in the first place. The search need to just be enhanced to allow easy finding of workout programs by time, type (walking/running), intensity, trainer, etc. And you should be able to save your favorite search options.

IFit and me. IFit has changed my life in so many ways. Sounds funny to say this, but I didn’t know how to run. Tommy taught me to take the brakes off (and taste everything 😉) John taught me about core and drive. Knox brought humor and lol questionable answers (that’s a joke from the live 8k) Now learning more about food to add smoother level of success. I’m down 20lbs, 10 more to lose but already it shows in my diabetes. I am so much stronger now. Those muscle chow the little bits of sugar it gets. Mostly I prefer to eat very healthy (some weird side effect from all this training). When I look at a cookie, all I see is another mile on the treadmill. I’m lazy so I skip the cookie (usually) Side note: the faster you run the more calories you burn. So I run because I’m too lazy to walk. IFit - you’ve truly been a blessing in my life. Thank each and every one of you! As a bonus I’m getting to be a bit of a history buff while I explore the world.

IFit. I love this app when it works! However, I do have 3 major issues that have occurred ever since I first starting using ifit 2 years ago with my Nordic Track s22i bike. The first issue I have is that the application just stops working mid workout and there is no means to pick up where i left off in the workout once the software reboots. This happens about every 4th to 5th workout on average. The second issue i have is that my AirPod pros do not reliably and consistently connect to ifit without issue. I have no issues connecting my AirPods with any other bluetooth enabled devices so I know it is not an issue with my AirPods plus other family members have the same issue using their own AirPods. The 3rd recurring issue, although less frequent than the other 2, is the inability to manually adjust the resistance and incline. This hasn’t occurred recently but has occurred a number of times in the past. I’ve worked with customer service to update all software yet these 3 issues still occur. I would really like a fix to these issues so I could give ifit 5 stars. It’s disappointing these issues existed right from the start and have not been resolved.

Best fitness app out there. If you are looking to bump up your fitness level, no matter what stage you are currently at, I would recommend iFIT! Whether you want to work on strength training, cardio, HIIT, yoga, meditation, and so on, this is the app for you. You can either pair the app via Bluetooth to a compatible machine (treadmill, elliptical, rower, etc.) or you can go unpaired and explore your own paradise while completing your workout. iFIT offers a huge array of prerecorded workouts as well as actual live workouts and races. iFIT has some of the worlds best fitness instructors like Tommy Rivs, John Peel, Ashley Paulson, Leah Dana Rosenfeld, and Casey Gilbert. Not only do you have the best fitness instructors, you also have world class athletes like Danelle Umstead and Dan Cnossen leading some classes. This app has helped me both physically and mentally. There is also the iFIT community that is worth mentioning. They are out there willing to help motivate each other. After all, iFIT isn’t really an app, it’s family.

Best Decision Ever!. Joining iFit has been the he best decision I have ever made! I needed a push and motivation and the trainers and challenges have made that happen for me. Too self conscious to be at a gym which I paid for over 10 years! Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️never felt the want to work out for my self and my health but iFit programs and trainers have given me exactly that the WANT and the WHY to work out. I look forward to it and in 5 months of joining I’ve lost 20lbs and 2 whole dress sizes and my endurance has increased tremendously from where I started. Although the trainers may not know me it feels like they do when they talk and they share struggles and success or when they say “this is how you should feel and I feel it with you and we will keep pushing and work towards your why”. It’s not only physical work but also mental and I’m very grateful to be able to enjoy this program. Thank you IFit and all the trainers I have worked with and the ones I have yet to meet!

I’m enjoying Ifit. It really gives me the push I need Sometimes it’s hard pushing yourself or staying committed everyday or to try pushing a bit harder to get better. Once I commit to a workout I wanna make myself proud I didn quit, my time getting better and being able to see the ending view (beautiful places) I love they incorporate history of the islands I’m usually running but I am also starting to get a few mins in wit yoga or stretching as part of my warm down. My time has been dropping. And if you reading this keep like two bottles of water with you cause I am pouring sweat, my hair is dripping sweat. Even when I go on runs outdoors, I play my workouts and do them on or off the tredmil. There’s so many workouts I’m looking forward to at the same time I’m trying to finish the series I started . When I coach at home, I can cook from the kitchen and control and see the laps… who I’m training -multitask Some places around the world you may have been but not know the history or popular sayings of its culture which makes things interesting on choosing your next travels Thanks IFit!! ❤️

Great app for home fitness equipment. I use the IFIT app with an elliptical machine. It’s part of my daily morning routine and I love the workouts for the most part! I’ve been able to “virtually” visit so many places, which makes you forget you’re even working out…sometimes. I’ve also enjoyed the studio workouts, but I don’t care for the parts when they have you get off of the exercise equipment to do floor work. I always follow the trainer settings, when I tried SmartAdjust it was much too difficult for me. I feel like the incline setting in the workouts is much higher on the elliptical than what the trainer is actually doing. When it raises to 22 (the max on my machine)I can hardly move the pedals, in fact I have to put my whole weight on one step to get it to go down! I wonder if the trainers sample their own workouts on the different types of equipment before they are published? It’s just a small drawback, I will keep renewing my membership, keep enjoying the wide variety of choices and keep dreaming about the places I want to visit!

I rarely ever write reviews!. I have had this app for about 5 years. I use it on the treadmill, at-home strength training, and stretching. The filtering options for difficulty, duration, and trainer are in my opinion the highlight of this app. I can adjust my workouts according to the time I have and style of training I need. As I have progressed and sometime digressing in my fitness journey, I have been able to use this app to meet me where I currently am. I joined a personal training company to drop weight and now that I am in tip-top-shape I am back to using this app to stretch and maintain my new muscles and train for a race this year (10miler or Half Marathon haven’t decided yet). I would recommend this app to anyone looking for direction I their workouts. They have workout series and quick workouts for all your needs all you need to do is show up for yourself. They only thing not included I believe is a meal plan, but the trainers may throw suggestions as they give you commentary during workouts. 9 out 10 for that reason, but definitely 5stars.

Love the workouts but... I love the workouts and the variety this app/company has. The trainers are phenomenal & keep me motivated the whole time. I would have given it 5 stars however with this newest update I have been having issues. I like to “follow the trainer” but at my own speeds, as in I want my machine to speed up when they speed up & slow down when they slow down but, allow me to adjust the speed to my preference & not theirs. The trainer is over 6 ft & I’m 5 ft so my strides aren’t nearly as long so I can’t go nearly as fast. Before this past update I was able to do this but now I am unable to & if I’m not able to I will most likely unsubscribe because I literally can’t keep up with the trainer & won’t be able to use my machine with this app as I intended. I shouldn’t have to turn my speeds up & down myself when the purpose of this app and machine Bluetooth is to do it for me. Please fix this so that I can follow the trainer but just at my own speed like before.

Enjoy content, app is good but not great. I’m giving this 4 stars for the content which I’ve enjoyed so far and seems to have plenty of beginner level content which I appreciate at this stage in my fitness journey. But the app has some maddening shortcomings like it really isn’t used by the people developing it. For example, why can’t you use the built-in music feature just because you want to use manual start mode? That needs music more than playing during (and over) the trainer content. And SmartAdjust is a cool idea but it only seems to adjust for speed but not incline? I’ll set treadmill to a higher incline and and a moment later the session content just sends it back. Shouldn’t it be additive? (If session track is zero, I set it to 2, and session track changes to 2, shouldn’t it go to 4? Or at least within some sliding ratio?) It lacks intuitiveness which is a shame because the idea is fantastic. I also get errors trying to check for firmware updates. I really think the app just needs an overhaul update to deliver the experience I believe iFit is aiming for.

Need Significant Improvement to Justify Price. I started off liking this app - because its supposed to control my treadmill and offer an immersive workout experience. (To be fair I exclusively use this for treadmill) I will admit it does well with helping you escape the drudgery - but that is about where it stops. First of all, why can’t the Apple TV app just BT on over to the treadmill and control it?!? Seems obvious… but lacking. In the app itself the audio balance between trainer and music is always off and gets quite annoying. You cannot seem to get the balance to ever work consistently through the workout. Annoying that when you are in a treadmill controlling workout you cannot adjust speed or incline without removing the treadmill control. All in all its not bad. But for the $15/mo base plan its too pricey for the glitches. Competitor apps are $10/mo and offer quite similar - with better integration. Makes it harder to justify that price tag right now. I am sure updates will make this app better, but for now… its pretty clunky.

Much to appreciate. I very much enjoy the ability to have a guided workout at home via iFIT. I like mixing up my workouts, and to have options to choose from like those that synch with my NordicTrack rower or those I can do on a mat is terrific! It’s awesome to have the app and rower sync, so the workout in the app automates the resistance of the rower in coordination with the workout. It’s a pretty amazing thing when you think about it, to have a guided workout on a solid machine in one’s own home that automates resistance thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or cellular technologies. Quite an improvement from a VHS workout video in the 80’s or no workout options at all for women in much of the 20th century prior to the 70s/80s that I’m aware of. I’m not sure if iFIT is building their library of workouts with regularity but I won’t complain because there is enough of a selection and variety of workouts to choose from to keep things interesting.

Joining Series. We have really enjoyed using the iFit app with our new rower. One huge complaint is when you join a series, it automatically deletes your completed workouts you have already done. One suggestion is when you “start workout” that is part of a series, it automatically joins you to the challenge, this way it will challenge you to keep pushing through the series. But please change it so it doesn’t delete what you’ve already done when you join a series. It would also be great to be able to set up challenges like you do alarms on your phone (every week - on select day) then it auto populates the weeks for you. The way we’ve been doing it is every Monday is a row challenge series (the next Monday is the next challenge in the series), Tuesday is a weight workout challenge, Wednesday is a row challenge, Thursday is weight challenge, and Friday is a hiit workout challenge. The next week is the second workout in the challenge series. So having them auto populate on the calendar would be great!

First walk with ifit. My family needed a new treadmill- hubby had had a heart transplant, daughter neck surgery and I needed to lose some paunch. Did some research and saw a low priced Pro-Form with Ifit at the Aldi grocery store! At that price it seemed worth a try. We would be walking, not running- and the brand is one of the best. I let my oldest daughter and husband set it up, so I don’t know how complicated it was. I did not hear any cursing and no real complaints, so it must have been tolerable. Today I used it for the first time and had a really good time! The iFit let me do a guided beginner walk around the Egyptian pyramids, a slow mile. It was great fun to see things from a walkers perspective and have an enthusiastic, knowledgeable guide. I am actually looking forward to going into the pyramids tomorrow! I used my phone as the screen, which was fine, but tomorrow I’ll have the iPad charged. I love the idea of walking and touring. A better escape than the news or tv. A great way to exercise and learn. I hope it will keep me motivated

Service is great - App is terrible. UPDATE - 6 months later Well, its now 6 months later and I am still using the service, because I can’t find one that takes me to as many different places as iFit does. However, the App still stinks. I never know when the app is going to freeze up and force me to “force quite” the app to get control back. And when I do, I lose everything I just did… still. SO IRRITATING! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I love the workouts, they make exercise fun and engaging. However, the app on iPad is so frustrating. It often forget’s what workout series I am in, and when I return to the app, it shows me other workout series as though I were looking for a new one. Then there IS NO SEARCH option! How can that be? It’s ridiculous. More seriously frustrating issues: 1) Why is there no easily accessible PAUSE button? People have to use the toilet sometimes. 2) When the app crashes (it can happen to any app), when I launch it again, it doesn’t remember where I was in my work out or give me a way to fast forward to where it crashed. I have to start the workout all over again! 3) Why is there a “favoriting” feature when there is no way to see what workouts you have favorited? This app is so bad, I may stop using the service over all, just because of this app!

This App is light years behind Peloton and Apple Fitness. Most workouts and trainers are good, however the beginner level is so off-base. If you’re a person changing from zero working out to an iFit machine, you can rely on the “beginner” workouts to be either way too easy, or way too hard. There is no gradual progression as you’d expect with an app that is supposed to have an algorithm that learns from your workouts. The app doesn’t have any integrations with music platforms, except a handful of radio stations, and the music they have available is terrible and detracts from my workouts. You can’t skip a song from the radio, but have to change the entire station, spending minutes on the screen that you should be focused on working out, trying to get the music changed in the settings. The app is extremely glitchy when using it with an iFit machine, and sometimes will start a completely different workout than the one I selected, or the workout just ends for no reason while I’m still pedaling away. The Smartadjust feature doesn’t work for longer than 10 seconds. It goes right back to the speed or resistance I just changed from. I’ve done all the resets, I’ve checked all settings, my S10i cycling machine is working perfectly great other than the app. I’ve chatted and done troubleshooting with support. The app is pure garbage. Massive regrets purchasing a 4-Year iFit membership when I bought the bike.

App Interface needs some love. I purchased a HIIT trainer for Christmas and I’ve been using this program since it came with my purchase and I’ve been loving the workouts. It’s so neat to travel to different areas of the world and actually feel like you’re running along the trails or hiking along a mountain slope. The trainer is right there beside you and helps to keep you motivated and pushing through the workout. Top remarks for the programs and the trainers. Where this app falls short however is the UI. It’s hard to search for something and it seems the categorization of everything is all over the place. It’s was difficult to find a series of workouts that were tuned down to a beginners level or for one that was fully appropriate for my particular machine. And then it also appears that there isn’t a way to check out my stats other than what shows up on my actual machine. It would certainly be nice to know what my average pace was for the past week, or how many miles I put in, but for now I haven’t been able to find it. I’ve fairly tech-savvy, so I’ll update this review if I manage to find it, but for now I’m fairly certain it’s not there.

Good for C19 workout. I am using a Proform bike with iFit. The iFit App is a great tool for scheduling your workout. You have choices from mountain to road bike. You have a ton of excellent trainers with a variety of skill sets to train you on. The App has most of the necessary categories you want to monitor for - incline, power, time left and RPM are the most common used by trainers. Rate of Perceived Exertion is missing in the App - so I normally combine this with Watts and RPM and judge from 1-10 how much RPE I am exerting. With C19, iFit never stopped providing programs. They continued with more C19 bike series outdoor and indoor program. Why I gave it a 4 star is that their app is wanky - when starting in the morning- even after you select a program and Bluetooth has connected to the bike - it goes often to Manual Mode. So I have to exit out again, go back to navigation and select my program again. This is a bug that has been there for 6 months now. The other reason is navigation. It’s just ok, but could definitely be improved. It does remember your last filter. If I have a bike, it should focus on bike and not provide other features like trails. I can compare this with Peloton- and the IFit trainers are better. But if we’re talking about the software- there are lots of room for improvements.

Impersonal Trainer. iFit is marketed as a virtual personal trainer. This is a big exaggeration of the experience. It would be more accurately described as Netflix for workouts. The content is good, but there is limited guidance as far as program specific nutrition, or advice regarding how often you should workout. You are left to your own devices to decide what workout to do, and when to do it. Scheduling a 25 part workout should have planned days on / off, with some flexibility to reschedule. However, in practice, you can only tell the system specific days of the week that you want to train. As a result, if you have 7 days a week of availability, joining a 25 day program will schedule as 25 consecutive days. The calendar feature is very lacking and only shows the name of the series, and not which workout in the series you are scheduled to do. Personalized feedback is non existent. There is no heart rate based “target zone,” etc designed to optimize for your specific metabolism. This is much more of a virtual spin class than a virtual personal trainer. A personal trainer gives you direct feedback and adjusts programs to suit your needs.

App is great in controlling connected equipment but lacks some of the most basic features. Giving the app 3 stars because it does quite a bit. However, it lacks some of the most basic features that consumers expect to have in a similar app. First and foremost, the Browse section lacks search capability, which requires users to spend a good bunch of time looking for the workout they want to start. People have limited time to workout and if it’s taking me 5-10mins to continue scrolling up and down then thats half my workout time spent. Not to mention the headache (literally) I receive through scrolling up and down. Second, there’s no way to control the video - move it forward to where you left off. Several people get interrupted for various reasons and the last thing they need is to start the same workout from scratch. Big blow on motivation. Lastly, if one starts first of a series of multiple workouts, they have to go to the browse screen and spend a long time (related to first issue listed above) to start the connected second, third related workouts and so on. Having said all of the above, I believe iFit is definitely a great start with tons of improvements awaiting. They need to move forward and close the gap on these basic capabilities before other competitors come to market with better experience and enhanced controls.

Amazing Destinations!!!. IFit’s production is so amazing when you “go” to these destinations you forget you’re even working out. The trainers give so much knowledge and facts about the area too I just love it! If I had known working out could be this enjoyable and fun I would never have gotten out of the habit! Ifit motivates you too by giving rewards (such as t-shirts, free months on your membership, etc) so you’re always striving to be your best self and get those fun rewards. They literally have thousands of workouts (places) for every level from beginner to marathon runner. Our ifit is for our Nordictrack 2950 treadmill but I use the TV app (free with family membership) to do yoga and strength training as well. This blows Pelaton out of the water. Seriously. It’s a bargain for what you get. My tread integrates incline and speed with app buy my Sister uses it with her non ifit compatible yread and just does it manually. There’s so many ways to make it work and so much you can get out of it. Try it you won’t be sorry.

Great program, terrible app. I love the idea of iFit and really enjoy all of the sessions so far, but this app is really not good. There are some good things about the app. The quality of the videos is good, and the controls for the machine are relatively responsive. The app does lag a bit in some areas, particularly loading and saving workouts, but no breaking bugs that I have noticed yet. However, when it comes to finding workouts to do this app is simply just a dump of every video they offer with no infrastructure in place to find the workout for you. The organization of the videos is in endless tabs arranged by series. There is no searching, filtering, or sorting of any kind. This really falls into the bare minimum of what an app like this should have. If you want to find a workout for a given intensity or skill level, your only option is to swipe through the tabs until you find something with a promising title, select one of the videos in the series, and hope that it is one of the ones with a description that includes the intensity, because not all of them do. I will adjust my rating if future updates improve the workflow but as an application developer by trade the laziness of this app is a major let down. Seeing as this app is a key component to using iFit for entry level NordicTrack users (and non-NordicTrack users), improving the user experience in the app would increase the value of iFit tremendously.

Forget about the rewards. The iFIT app is a good tool for fitness. There is a great variety in the workouts offered. Most of the trainers are very personable and knowledgeable. My personal preference is for the on-location workouts as versus the studio ones. Except for a few exceptions, the camera work and the fitness training offered in these workouts, filmed in beautiful locales are a great motivator for getting on your exercise equipment. Recent updates have made it easier to tailor the workout audios to one’s own preferences. The smart adjust option doesn’t work effectively and often “dumbs down” a workout so one has to be constantly aware of that. Otherwise you may find yourself climbing at an incline of 3, for example, when in reality 12 is more up to your level. But DO NOT expect to be rewarded. IFIT puts up these rewards as motivators for completing workouts. However, we have not received a single one of them. There are no free flags, or tshirts to be had, doesn’t matter if your app is telling you that you have earned a reward. Contacting customer service is going to yield nothing but stress. So yes, get the app if you want to get some good workouts in, but get your own motivators in place because the ones offered by iFIT are just illusionary hogwash. Update: iFIT solution to unreceived rewards—make the whole reward system disappear. There are only badges and digital trophies for challenges completed.

Excellent workouts and trainers, I miss the physical rewards. I’ve been using iFit since December 2020. I had lost 60 pounds and was looking to lose another 20. Ifit helped me accomplish that, in part because I had some thing I never thought I would ever have… A wall full of medals I would do just about anything to earn. A few things I still enjoy from Ifit, even though they abruptly discontinued sending physical medals without giving an option to pay for them or anything… I love that the trainers are interactive during the live workouts but also interactive on the Facebook groups and on their Instagram’s etc. I attended one of the fitness retreats Ifit put together and I had a seriously eye-opening experience that changed my life. I’m continuing to push on, even without my beloved physical trophies, Ifit is offering a digital trophy case. I wonder how long until I’m no longer bitter? They didn’t decrease the cost of the monthly fee. I still rate four stars because had I never known about the physical rewards, I wouldn’t be bitter. I know I know… “Fitness and health is my reward…” 😂

Great and keeps getting better!. I start my day with iFit. Typically I work in a series with my favs Tommy Rivs or John Peel, but have done smaller series or one offs with others. One various days I can now, thank you iFit, add yoga, Pilates or meditation- and these sessions are at a level that are both challenging and interesting. On days when I feel like a simple walk - love the culture walks or Ted talks! Kudos to you iFit for the continual upgrades and new content. Beyond fun and interesting I can’t believe the difference in my own endurance in the year and a half I’ve been working with this . Thank you! Not sure how long ago I wrote the above BUT now even better! On a crazy whim 7 months ago I decided to try running again - I’d given it up years ago due to knee problems and frankly I couldn’t go very far back then. Well first day running with the app and I hit 3 miles easily without thinking - I couldn’t do that in my 20s and I was fairly fit! Excited I decided to restart tommy riv’s great Portugal series and learn from the master. I’m now regularly running and feel better than ever - not bad for a 60 year old newbie! Thank you to all the great trainers! Especially love the Live races! Great job all!

Great App. IFit is a great App. I love how your heart rate monitor connects to the app- even if your treadmill/bike/elliptical is not iFit compatible. I enjoy this app because with all the pre loaded programs, it’s like I’m going for a run with a trainer- but even if I speed up or slow down I stick with the trainer. I always enjoy my workout. The variety of programs is also very good, I have stuck with the running programs because my treadmill is Ifit compatible, however have also completed some bike workouts and strength training programs. One of the best features is the leaderboard- on days you feel competitive you can do your workout ranked against other users who have completed the same workout. However you don’t have to view the leaderboard during your workout and choose to see it at the end - or not see it at all based on how you’re feeling on the day.

Absolute scam and waste of money. Do not buy into this app or any NordicTrack equipment. I have a RW900 rower, cost over $2500 plus $250 iFit membership. The customer service from NordicTrack and iFit is an absolute joke! I have an email chain from 12+ 'technicians' who refused to accept that my machine was broken and palmed me off to the next.. and their end result was 'try calling the retailer you purchased from'.. useless.. The machine has been constantly breaking with monitor hardware issues, bearings flogged out inside the fans, strap unstitching, rust on the seat roller track, the list goes on. The iFit app refuses to connect to my Bluetooth headphones, is constantly crashing mid-session, slow and sluggish, hard to navigate, lack of feedback on results/ improvement in stats over time, does not remember my settings for audio, etc. This was a complete waste of money. Fortunately the machine will likely break any day now so I will get a refund as I am already on replacements. Good luck

Love the iFit app. Keeps me coming back for more, but slow to start up sometimes and searching for workouts is a bit clunky, but they are improving things all the time. Love the new feature that adjust the workout based on my preferences

Making fitness fun and accessible. With 2 young kids getting to the gym or out for a run is tricky but with an elliptical and Ifit in my house it makes exercise accessible for me. Absolutely love all the challenges, the trainers and the price! Even with the machine I’m ahead on my annual gym membership and I have used it more by march than I did the previous 12 months!

Far too American for me.. I only use the app because it came free with my bike. I have only used the biking videos. The videos need to concentrate more on the ride and less on the hosting rider banging on about how they overcame their issues etc. Some of rides barely show the road and feature an oblique view of the rider. Not immersive at all. Would prefer a simple ride, no music, limited talking, more immersion into the ride. As for the studio rides, the cheers from other riders and the annoyingly encouraging words from the coach seem false and are a major put off for me. Loges in oz

Works for me In every way.. Had my doubts at first buying a machine that relies on a program to use at its fullest. But I’d never go back now. It’s great, with a huge variety of different types of exercise and difficulty levels as well. The trainers are motivated and motivating. Exercise is now something I look more forward to and am always trying to find extra time for more. I look at the series’s on IFIT like any other streaming service but I’m getting fit and learning. It’s awesome.

Something for everyone. This app literally has something for everyone. Whatever I feel like doing- treadmill, yoga, strength - I can find a workout. I love the treadmill workouts with people who know about those countries. The Egypt walking tour with Ramy Romany is exceptional. More from him please!! While I love those workouts, my kid is a national level runner and she finds plenty of workouts that suit her too. My husband loves the rah rah upbeat trainers when he runs - and there are plenty of those for him too. With a family membership we can all be challenged to the level that is right for us individually. So many good choices to make!

Limited workouts, terrible UX. This app and the ifit program in general is pretty terrible There are limited workouts (despite what advertising might say), the system is not intuitive to the user and there’s been numerous issues with my studio cycle bike, as I believe there is with all Ifit cardio products. I’m also unable to activate the Bluetooth in my Nordiktrack studio cycle bike so I can’t sync my ifit app to my bike. Very disappointed with the Nordiktrack/ ifit system and wish I had bought a peloton instead

Won’t share with apple health. Even after the latest update iFIT still won’t share workout data with Apple health, both I and my wife have all the data sharing permissions turned on for both read and write but still no data sharing! It’s so frustrating having to use other apps to get iFIT data into Apple health when doing iFIT workouts, this is such a basic thing why can’t you get it to work, every other app can!

Amazing!. Said I would never go to a gym and never do personal training. Only tried iFIT because free membership came with my machine but so glad I did. I absolutely love it and really look forward to my workout everyday! Sometimes do more than one because they are so enjoyable! 😁

Makes treadmills exciting. I love this app be would recommend it to anyone who has a compatible fitness machine. Definitely worth the cost as I just wouldn’t use my treadmill without it. The challenges and series make you feel like you always have a mini goal to work towards.

Excellent work outs but…….they are all not available on the applicable Nordic track machines.. Excellent work outs but…….they are all not available on the applicable Nordic track machines. I love the works outs of Tommy, Richard and Ashley on the bike. Particularly the KOM and Japan series. Plus Richard’s series indoors. On the rower I love Alex beautiful workouts. On my Proform Vue, the workouts of Casey, Gideon and Phil are fantastic. My only and biggest gripe is that hardly any of the strength workouts are loaded onto the Proform Vue. I have access to all of them on my phone and iPad through the App but not on the machine I paid for. This makes no sense at all and I have previously relayed my thoughts to both Nordic track and IFIT. Phil H

Great app, needs more consistency. I use iFit every day and love it. Great trainers, lots of variety, amazing location. Love it! What really needs work is the consistency between the apps and web interfaces. There is a huge difference when I switch from phone to iPad to web and it is frustrating. Please work on streamlining the interfaces so that it feels the same no matter where you log in. A little more customisation will also be good. Like being able to completely remove the warm up and cool down sessions when you really don’t need them. At the moment the lowest you can go is 1m which seems silly. Overall though it is a great app, which wins where it matters. Wonderful trainers, motivating monthly challenges and stunning settings from all other the world. Thank you for keeping me fit and motivated. I highly recommend this app!

Changing too much. Having been a member for over 12 months I enjoy the challenges but I have to be honest the negative reviews are starting to annoy me I did like the challenge of reaching the milestones and was very disappointed with the communication from IFIT with regards to my sweater which I still haven’t received even though I redeemed it twice when we received the final date email but got feedback from it so I would like my hard earned sweater from last year considering I believe the $100 vouchers are no longer redeemable now. I don’t needs theses to motivate me but I did enjoy the challenge to reach those goals Otherwise I love the trainers so thank you for your hard work behind the scenes to create the challenges

The benefits I received from using iFIT. As a 58 year old man who has participated in sports for many years I have experienced the impact this has had on my body physically and my mind mentally. I love physical activity but having long term injuries I needed to manage and live with, I became preoccupied in the how I felt rather than what changes I needed to make to not let this be how I lived my life. I was sand still do go to the gym doing workout after workout always wondering when will my body tell enough is enough that was that was until my wife and I we purchased a piece of home gym equipment that came with the option for an iFIT membership. We decided to sign up and give it a go and the last four months have changed how I approach exercise. Working with a trainer I can do the program at my level and I can work my way up. I have noticed my fitness has increase to a level where I can experience the benefits this is having on my body. I still do gym classes but joining iFIT and doing their programs has taught me to listen to my body and work from a place that is benefiting me both physically and mentally. Still early days but worth every one of them. Thanks IFIT team

Keep motivated. I really love this. I used to find the incentive to exercise dropping off, especially in the winter months. With this system, I look forward to using it each time and enjoy the excitement of what might be on offer. I still have my music in the background, and the trainer keeps me going. You don’t have to meet the intensity of each program if you are not up to it at the time, but you will get there. Did I say I love it???

Absolutely useless. I bought a Nordic Track recumbent bike with iFit Bluetooth feature. The instruction manual tells me I can track my workouts via Bluetooth with the iFit app. Fantastic. Now I can automatically track my fitness in the Apple iPhone Health app. Download the iFit app, create an account, then it wants me to subscribe for $15 a month. I click the “no thanks” button and it tells me the app does not work without the paid subscription. I have to pay $15 a month for fake trainers to teach me how to pedal an exercise bike. How about this: have basic functionality for exercise equipment users, then have a paywall for the overpriced trainer videos. I don’t need somebody running around a beach in Hawaii telling me to exercise harder. I just want calories burned and minutes of exercise per week. No more...no less.

Fitness Over Fifty. Maintaining fitness is always difficult but returning to fitness after many years of poor diet, lack of exercise, injuries or illness, aging and general life impacts is exceptionally difficult. All programs show muscle bound or fit younger people. Very few are targeted towards the #fitnessoverfifty age group. But iFIT is - the step by step walking, running or strength courses have yielded major results in strength, speed and weight loss. Now I won’t tell you how much weight I’ve lost - I will tell you I ran my Army fitness test for first time in a decade, coming in 3 min 15 sec under time. And my iFIT journey is just beginning. #goodlifechangers

Inclines now working in non Bluetooth mode! Thank you!. Love the app. I have an older ifit treadmill with a small screen and no Bluetooth. The new version of this app allows me to play the video on my iPad - finally big screen and true colours! Only one request - the incline reading on non-Bluetooth remains as 0 while the speed reading changes according to the program. Can you make the incline reading on the app screen same as the program please? The iPad covers up my whole treadmill screen. Although the incline adjusts, it would be nice to see it on the screen. Also love the chart view of the speed changes - hopefully you can bring in the inclines also. Thanks! Deleted and reinstalled app now inclines showing! Hurray!

Hit and Miss for AU customers. Fully understand we are relatively small market in Australia, there is no local content. Live cycling and strength classes specially. If you aren’t training at midnight you miss out on the live stream content. On the whole the videos are generally good, some are completely out of focus or the trainers can’t even be seen. You have to spend a bit of time finding the right trainer with the right content and then hope they are with watching. Hopefully it will get better as the market here grows.

Loving the variety so far!. I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now and love the variety of locations while I train and the knowledge the trainers share, not only of the locations history but also training hints and tips along the way. It’s great to be able to use the app with or without brand name equipment (I have a generic spin bike but a Nordic track treadmill) so it’s able to be used by anyone. I’m looking forward to exploring more features Thanks ifit!

For me it’s a yes! Ifit tredmill plus a few toys 5 stars. I love that I can workout when I have time, if I’m in my pjs, if my kids are asleep. No more stress of trying to fit the gym in around my kids schedules. Today I woke up early because of the dog and couldn’t get back to sleep so went to do a hike/walk but my knee didn’t fee right….. so 10mins in I can press stop and jump on the ground to do some pilates! Win win and no excuses!

Fabulous. IFIT is a great system for all levels of training. I love going all over the world as then I find new interesting places to travel to. Trainers like Tom Rivers are outstanding with his knowledge about fitness, science & culture. Also like how some trainers give you tips on eating & lifestyle choices. It’s amazing what you take in while training.

7 months in. 7 months and done so many workouts. I feel I really let myself down if I miss a day or two. So many great trainers and enjoyed all my series so far. My pro form treadmill doesn’t agree with the incline sync very much. It used to be fine, but manually it works so not sure what the issue is. Very happy though to continue on with the app though. Well done iFit guys😀😁

Good but not great. Plenty of good things about it However this is feedback Navigation is clunky It’s vertical drill down and then back to the top You save favourites For instance can’t swipe left or right Or by exercise type Even worst on bike Should be able to save favourites by what you like and what you want to do Looking for your favourite warm down for instance is clunky after a ride I just use calendar You can filter people by riders today but there are not many riding today You should be able to do this week Also every 5 mins a live session should start in a pre recorded session should occur like competition In Asia pacific we have no live sessions in the morning Exercise plans on work outs should be in summary so we can read before starting Can’t fast forward so if I don’t like an exercise it ruins that session Other than that I really like it Making friend on line should be easy Ps I never received my milestones prizes

Great workouts. Workouts and trainers are fantastic, app is great too when it works, incline and speed more often than not don’t work, incline stuck on 0% and speed 2kph, have deleted app and reinstalled many times (you don’t want to hear what I tell it) sometimes that fixes the problem most times not

Poor experience with the app and terrible support service. I have been using the iFit incline treadmill for three months. The most annoying and disappointing part are the iFit app on the machine and the unhelpful support service. The app had frozen from time to time during training and it required a reboot of the whole machine to fix the issue. The worse is after reboot i cannot resume from where I was at in a training. When I ask the support for help, they didn’t make a good investigation or consultation but simply said “ The connection on the machine's isn't designed to be able to work at full potential when other devices are connected to the internet. I would suggest getting a WIFI extender or turning off other devices to stop the buffering issue. Also I can't view what you sent me.” I felt my complain has been put aside by their support and asked me to buy something else.

Why am I being asked to buy a subscription when I’ve paid for equipment.. Now to start with the elephant in the room the subscription is main advertised for the personal trainer however I’d rather use the app to see the data of my current and previous workouts that I’ve done so far so I can compare to what I’ve done ect, I rather not have a personal trainer as much fun as that would be I don’t think it’s fair that one of the key advertising points was that I can Bluetooth to my mobile device to the equipment. Besides that, the equipment is great! Just missing the only thing that made it $800 in the first place.

In love with exercise again. I upgraded my Nordictrack treadmill and cannot express how pleased I am. The new cardio workouts keep me really inspired and I just love the enthusiasm of all the coaches. I now look forward to my workouts and running/cycling through all the different countries and learning about the different cultures along the way. Exercise has become a lot more fun Thank you AAA++++

Good app helps me be active. Very solid app, has a great range of exercises to help with your fitness goals. Lots of different levels from beginner to expert. Would have given 5 stars but it lacks data to really track how you’ve been going in your fitness journey. Would love it to incorporate some graphs and stats to see where you’ve improved and areas you could work on.

APP buffers / drops out nearly EVERY workout. I absolutely LOVE the concept, and Tommy Rivas is absolutely AMAZING to workout with. BUT the APP continually drops out, ends without saving what I’ve done, constantly buffers - often when I’ve just started a sprint or other big effort. The utter frustration and anger I get when it starts to buffer for the 3rd time and at a big strenuous effort is difficult to put into words! The APP is constantly trying to communicate with the Bluetooth connection on the NordicTrack. Guys, it can’t be that hard to get the APP to work - I don’t care about the bells or whistles - can you please just make it work!!?!

Free with new treadmill. I got 12 months free subscription with a new NordicTrack treadmill and just a few weeks into it, the benefits of iFit are immeasurable! I will subscribe after my 12 months are up! The workouts are fantastic and for someone in their 50’s returning to running after a good few years, I am already seeing results. Tommy Rivers Pusey is an excellent trainer and a joy to train alongside. Highly recommend!

Great for beginners!. Don’t be scared away if you’re new to exercise or trying to get back into shape. The programs are for all levels. I have a nordictrack treadmill and I love that it automatically changes the speed/incline as the trainer speeds up etc. To be living in the worlds most lockdown city but be able to tour Times Square while walking, is awesome! Plus there’s a feature where you create your own walk/run course by using Google maps. I am no where near a fit but I’m fast becoming an addict! The trainers are amazing too. The time flies when they’re walking you around Turks and Caicos showing you the wildlife and beautiful views.

More than strength and speed. Explore the world virtually with an excellent diversity of workouts - walk, run, hike all over the world - did I mention Everest!!, yoga, strength, stretch, mental health walk n talks, food coaching, recovery, meditation..... something for everyone at every stage of their health fitness journey. And the trainers! Again, diverse range of personalities and skill base. Why not 5 stars? Living outside of US means we miss out on timed races as they are middle of the night and they have stopped re-runs of live races. We also can't access products and medals as they won't post to Australia, but we pay the same sign up fee and more for equipment. Support (eg: for locating info, fixing issues etc) is best by FB group members rather than ifit itself.

Great motivator but could be improved... I do love using this. All the trainers I’ve seen are fantastic. It is very easy to change the speed or incline if needed and also easy to return to the program too. It would really help if there was a search function to find the series I’m interested in though. You can add a workout to favourites but not a series and to find the next workout I need can take awhile. It would be sooooo much better if the next workout in the series came up for you to choose easily. Or even have a search function so that you can find the series quickly rather than scrolling through a whole list that’s not in alphabetical order. I still enjoy using it though.

Love it. Loving Alaska on my treadmill and the variety of other classes that I can do! Very exciting. I can’t believe such a great fitness tool exists. I can exercise when I want and at home so I don’t waste any time going anywhere and I am safe. Looking forward to exploring more if the other classes. Support service in Australia has been great.

So Good!. I love my iFIT app! It doesn’t cost the earth and always available any time of day. I’m a studying mum of four and still manage to get workouts in 5 days a week. I especially love the Pilates and active recovery sessions, because they fill the workout spot when your body is not up to something more vigorous 😉. You won’t regret the treadmill sessions either - take a walk/run all over the world.

iFit staff refuse to help after wrongly charging me. I’ve been charged for a subscription after cancelling before my free trial ended. Despite receiving cancellation confirmation through the app I was still charged. iFit says this is not their problem and I need to argue the case with Apple, although they’ve not been able to explain why this has to go through Apple. There is a complete disregard for me as a customer and they have no interest in helping to resolve this. I intended to use the app again in future but after being ripped off and treated very poorly by their customer service I won’t be using this anymore.

Disappointed. The concept and the hardware is solid. The workouts are great but all of these are let down by the dismal software and U.I. The latest update to the desktop site is a giant step backwards now that you have to have your workout emailed as a zip file before being able to import to Garmin. The app now will import several identical workouts from Apple Health and then can’t be deleted. I’ve pretty much given up the notion of using iFit as I had intended, as a training aid for my real world cycling but keeping track of my training and progress via the stats.

iFIT takes you where you need to go. iFIT leads you so you don’t need to think of much and you can just enjoy relating to your body feedback while iFIT trainers teach you, in each relevant moment, new things about burning fat or improving your cardiovascular health. If you can afford the cost of using iFIT then it will take a load off your mind while you keep safe and learn a lot about becoming more fit and strong. The trainers are all very good and you can try different trainers and different circuits until you know exactly what works best for you.

Loving the variety. I recently started some indoor cycling here as well as Knox’s running series’. Love the variety, but I do wish it was easier to navigate through a series especially if you want to go back a couple of sessions within the series. I haven’t found an easy way to do it yet as the calendar has the session name - maybe adding ‘session x of series x’ might help. Also, after finishing a series, suggestions on what next would be great!

A new lease on life. I bought the treadmill wanting to improve my fitness and it came with the ifit membership. I waited six months before activating and found my use of the equipment was haphazard at best. However, since I activated the membership I have been using my treadmill every day, several times a day, and have noticed a marked improvement in my fitness level! I am even jogging/running which I haven’t done for many many years thanks to the walk to jog program. I’m loving it, if you need a little extra push to get moving and regular with your fitness journey I recommend you give this app a go!

Forget the Elitist Gym. I love the fact that iFIT gives me the ability to customize my own fitness program with a mix of cardio, strength and stretch exercises from the comfort of my own home. As a plus size girl I often feel uncomfortable going to a commercial gym at peak hour battling for machines and standing next to the buff meat heads and Lycra clad skinny workout bunnies. With iFIT I can work out when I want wearing what I want (yes have done in pjs) from the comfort of home. Thanks iFit!

Great. I’ve always enjoyed the variety weather it is treadmill, rowing or elliptical. I’m not a fan of the indoor classes. All that whooping and high-fiving but hey maybe that’s something other people enjoy. I love the outdoor classes, great footage and some wonderful trainers. If you want something dirt cheap well maybe look else where. I’d highly recommend iFit.

❤️ iFIT. IFIT has me looking forward to each workout. The locations are stunning, trainers and crew are absolutely amazing. The community on facebook is very supportive and friendly. I’m lucky enough to live in a city with a lot of parkland so I regularly walk up a hill close to my house. We’ve had an unusually wet season over the last year and iFIT enabled me to work out when I wouldn’t have gone out in the rain. I travel a fair bit and find the unpaired workouts on my phone very handy.

All you need a more. The app was a little sluggish on my old device but since upgrading app works well. The content is amazing so many options for all fitness levels and the variety of trainers are sure to suit every personality. Ready to get off the couch? Give ifit a go.

Great workouts but reliability of App and support lets the product down. I have been an Ifit user for 4 years and own two pieces of Ifit equipment (treadmill and elliptical). The app no longer holds the history of my workouts belong 5 weeks. This is incredibly frustrating as tracking my progress over the years is incredibly important to me. Support as friendly as they are are slow to respond and have yet to be able to resolve the problem. Get on Facebook for more honest reviews about Ifit. We are moving states and have decided not to bother taking the Ifit machines with us so we can by more reliable non-Ifit machines there.

A coach by your side. I truly don’t know what I would do without iFIT - it came with my treadmill and am so grateful for the trainers. All are incredible- im the strongest I have been ever and so look forward to it each and every day. The community is so supportive also. Been through some difficult times whilst I have been a member and they would’ve been a lot tougher if I hadn’t discovered iFIT - thank you xx

Amazing. I just completed my very first session and I loved it. I felt like I was on the trail, following my instructor down the Grand Canyon. I’m very unfit but this was perfect for me and the encouragement I received from the instructor was really fantastic. I will be recommending this to everyone I know and I’m looking forward to my next session. I’ve never said that about exercising before!!!! This is a game changer for me.

In love with iFit. When I bought my treadmill, I had no idea what journey it would take me on with an iFit membership. This is hands down the best thing ever! I have travelled the world during lockdown with the best trainers. I started my journey being lazy and unfit and now I am a runner and part of a fantastic community. Best thing ever!!!

IFIT. Love the energy and variety of workouts. Thanks IFIT.

10/10. Quite good

Grand caymen with Ashley Paulson. Awesome tabata ride. Kept up and feel great. She is awesome and makes ride go by sooo fast!

Rivs series. Great series to bring some of us couch potatoes back in the fitness world with epic walks and educating us about the places we walk. Kudos

Better than the gym. Use this app since December 2020 and I really like it. For me, thoses treadmills workouts are more fun than gym. Really like Tommy Rivs workout series. 🖤🏃🏻‍♀️

Auto renewal after canceling. App charged me $327 to auto renew after i had canceled months ago. Did not send a receipt either. Only found an unwanted charge on my credit card statement.

Makes me want to go back to Chiang Mai. Great workout.

Review. I find it a good app but agree that the search is frustrating. I want to pick interval and not find out it also has cross training off the machine. I don’t have room for that so I end up just running onward while watching them do the cross training. Have workouts correctly classified and also by machine type. I don’t know that this is a app issue but when I have to switch my WiFi to another router due to performance issues I must cancel my workout and start everything all over again. Couldn’t there be a pause save feature?

Superb Workout Options. What a great investment an iFit subscription has proved. Great options on all modalities and great trainers! Tommy Rivs has made some runners out of non runners in our family and added joy to the workouts of the established runners. Thank you!

Love the content…But. I love the content, I am 65 years old and 50 pounds overweight. A couple of years ago I worked hard to get my 100 workout shirt and was delighted when I received it. Unfortunately last year although I paid for membership I found it hard to commit. This year I found a new determination and with the help of Dr. Tommy’s road to recovery I pushed through and completed my 100 workouts in recovery time. HURRAY!! I received y email to claim my prize and find out I have to pay for my shirt. Not to be deterred from my new commitment I press on and will pay for it. But wait, I can’t because I live in Canada. Even though I paid more for my membership, I cannot purchase my shirt. I guess IFIT doesn’t need advertising in Canada even though they sell their machines here. With all the competition to get my subscription dollars I would think I fit would be more accommodating. I work hard for my 100 workouts and was looking forward to wearing my badge of honour, even if I had to pay for it, and shipping too, (that wasn’t an option). It took the wind out of my sails So after taking 3 weeks off after a respiratory infection I am determined to start again. A little disappointed, without my badge of honour I would so hard to achieve.

Bad app. Very difficult to navigate the app. Every workout seems to be locked during the free trial period. Greedy app that only wants money.

Love iFIT. The introductions are easy to follow and motivating. The workouts are enjoyable and effective. Top-notch coaches for sure!

Grand Canyon with Tommy. First of all thank you Tommy and crew. What a great workout and experience. If this doesn’t motivate you to explore …….. Wow

Great App. Great workouts and great trainers.

Beware before signing up. I bought a Nordic treadmill and it forced me to sign up on IFIT for unlocking the account. IFIT did not allow you to trail sign up until you provide a valid cr card information, here comes the fraud by IFIT. They will renew your membership automatically and charge your cr card. They will never refund the amount and start signing the songs of crappy no refund policy. These cust care executives are rude and non supportive.

Happy to be back. I was an IFit member years ago and cancelled my membership because my Treadmill lost its connection to their server. So happy to be back using the IFit app on my phone and TV. Absolutely loving the iFIT experience 💕

Totally recommend, it will change your life. I love my ifit app. Huge source of motivation and wealth of knowledge from many different trainers. Tommy Rivs Puzey is my favourite mentor. Truly an inspiration the stuff he has been through and battled back from. A dude I would love to meet and hangout with over a well deserved meal!

IFit is amazing. The support of the the Facebook groups and teams is amazing. The destinations are beautiful and make the time go by so quickly, so happy I joined Carrie

Day 1. Out of breath but feeling good…liking the style, see you tomorrow!

I love it!. Whether a short workout or a long one? There’s something for everyone

Amazing trainers!. Educated trainers who encourage and help you to become your best self!

Fitness. I like the ap I was sick for a month so I’m just starting back. I like the walking with some incline. I don’t run. Thanks for the work outs

CHER. Déjà ont achète votre machine super cher vous mettez un abonnement 💀

Cycling. IFIT is a great way to get back into cycling. The trainers are very interactive and informative.

Ifit app. Had the app for about 6 weeks so far! Love it!

Bad. Bad

The best!!. Love it!!! WAY better & more affordable than the competitor!

Fitness. Great work outs and intensity. Something for the whole family. We like the high intensity work outs and my 6 year old is walking in the Serangety ( in the middle of the winter while it’s snowing outside in Canada) No excuses ,just great fitness. Adan

Great workout and awesome videos. Just the app needs some upgrades, I.e. no automatic sign in at start, no search function for videos, and why doesn’t the app work while disconnected from the machine? (For example to choose your next workout for tomorrow morning...). Otherwise awesome!!!

Continuously Improving. Over the last four years iFIT has made significant improvements to all areas, including variety of workouts, data fields, searchability, and live events. Still some database tagging to figure out but they seem really responsive to feedback. I’ve rarely had connection issues with my NordicTrack C700 though I find the yoga and strength videos can be buggy and need your treadmill to be on, which is inconvenient and not so eco friendly. I much prefer the app on a tablet rather than a phone = much better functionality. The trainers are delightful and fun and nothing beats a run or walk with Tommy Rivs! Suitable for all fitness levels from walking to some very intense speed runs. I do wish they shipped to Canada as many of their clients (and even some trainers) are Canadian.

Love the ifit program. I honestly don’t know how I could survive the stress of life without heading to my basement for my ifit run. I look forward to the days I have scheduled for the workout. The trainers make it fun and motivating and I love the challanges that I can compete with myself. The most amazing part is that I feel like I can travel the world and run in amzing places like beaches and vineyards without leaving my home. I have young children and love in the country most of my runs are late at night and having an ifit membership works perfect for me and my family.

Appreciate the motivation. Really enjoy the workout. The approach that he takes is pretty well the pace that I know I will continue with and not try to over exert myself. There is enough variety through the app that you can find regardless of your fitness level.

Love it. Best in QUEBEC

Way too expensive. I wish it was possible to do basic tracking without paying for a subscription. 20$ CAD per month is excessive! The iFit feature of my Pro-Form elliptical is useless then... Very disappointed.

Five stars. Inspiring, motivational, informative and I most enjoy the locations. I am 64 and these programs have made a tremendous difference in my quality of life and energy levels. Please do more intermediate (light) 2.5 to 3.1 mile build up series covering many weeks and interesting places. My resting heart rate when sleeping has dropped to between 45 and 46 beats. I particularly appreciate your approach to gradual building and form to avoid harm. It would be helpful to have one session dedicated to warm up and recovery and recovery diet.

Great programme overall. Really like how it gets me running

Loving iFit!! ❤️. Loving iFit so much! So happy to be part of the iFit family!!

Bike. Great program as always however wondering why it won’t pair with other equipment. I like using my own tri-bike to work out however unable to pair trainer unless it is IFIT equipment. Eliminates an awful lot of people that could sign up with IFIT if able to connect.

Worth it. Absolutely love this app. The instructors are amazing, and the views are breathtaking. There’s a workout for everyone no matter your level of fitness.

Still learning. I will write a review when I have spent more time with it

Great workout, great instructors!. I love this app for its convenience, and variety of workouts. I have to admit, I’ve been stuck on a few really good ones that I love so much I can’t stop doing them over and over again – even the series! I do need to branch out but once you find, your perfect fit it’s hard. I recommend to find you’re a perfect fit.

A éviter !!. Impossible d’utiliser un appareil avec la technologie ifit dans fournir une carte de crédit pour l’accès gratuit . 1 an plus tard , tu te fais defoncer avec le paiement automatique de l’année . Plus jamais un appareil avec ifit dessus .

iFIT. Awesome trainers. Into my third year, keeps me motivated!

Won’t unlock. Can’t seem to access workouts even though I’m paying the subscription.

Love this app!. The best instructors! They are great at making sure your body is in the proper position with cues so we don’t get injured. Amazing job!

No. No thank u

Love it. Would enjoy all the rides

Eastend Walk through London. Was a great first experience with ifit.

Just get at it and work at consistency. Easy to follow and encouraging, work through physical, emotional challenges. Love the body your in and make it a healthier place. Much love and thanks to this app and program. I love IFIT.

Chile hiking series. It’s a breath of spring air An easy manner, a friendliness, and a deep consideration and love for the country makes this a relaxing…..so far but we have only just started……. Introduction to summer exercise Zac Marion is inspiring me to keep going because fitness can only be obtained by working hard. Nothing does can do it So I struggle along on my elliptical every day and visit astounding places in the world I am on 504 since I began ifit in 2021 and I am 77 years old

A life and body changer. We bought our iFit equipment when the pandemic hit, my daughter couldn’t go to daycare, I was working from home, and my husband got deployed for relief efforts. I told him that I needed some way to exercise and to get some relief in the day. This equipment has completely changed our lives and our bodies. We have become so dedicated to our health and well-being. As a bonus we found out that we could do strength training, yoga and exercises off of our machines, which has really been beneficial to our overall health. We love the trainers, the love races, getting to do meet ups at the live races and meet the trainers, and the entire community of people encouraging one another to be the best versions of ourselves. Who knew a treadmill and bike could give us all of this!

Love this!. I really enjoy this a lot. The treadmill options are not boring and I find myself excited for my next workout. I have only tried one strength class and I failed miserably. I need to see if there is anything that is before beginner, lol, because I could not keep up. I have a full yr of zero working out and just sitting on the couch from lockdowns and rt before lockdowns I had stomach surgery that I have a scar from hip to hip. I have so much back pain which I have narrowed down to being my gluteus medium and minor. I have areas that have zero strength and others with all the strength so I need to explore my options in the strength classes. I wish I could search by pain, like pilates for lower back pain etc. maybe I can and I havent figure that out yet. I have used this app for 1 week so far. But the treadmill options is enough by itself to earn 5 stars.

Greatest decision of my life.. I purchased a treadmill that came with iFit trial. I was familiar with iFit, but never got to experience it. This is the greatest decision of my life. I wake up every day to decide which country I want to visit. most of the time there is a guide that can take me through any country that I want to go. However, there are some places that guides don’t go but that’s OK because this app is interactive with Google maps. You can start your location and end your location wherever in the world. So the first thing I did was print out a list of every country in the world and now I’m on my journey to visit every single country and I’m checking them off one by one. The greatest thing is I’m getting to see the world and because it’s producing endorphins, it truly feels like I’m there. Thank you iFIT for all that you do.

Horrible implementation. First of all, I don’t want my treadmill to be constantly connected to this horrible app. Without this app, my treadmill made by NordicTrack, gets locked which is extremely dumb and stupid, in my opinion. Me and my family use the treadmill as a exercise machine and not using high speeds or inclines, but the programs on this app are meant for extensive weight working people, not for casual people that want to walk casually in their house on their own equipment without going to the gym. Had I known my treadmill required this garbage app, I would’ve gotten an LA Fitness membership. Second of all, the connection between this horrific app and my treadmill is mostly a hit. Usually I don’t take 5 minutes to start my workout session, but with this app, it takes multiple attempts to connect to the machine and to my iPad 2018 to even start. But even when I start it errors out and makes me go through the entire process again. Honestly waste of time and money. Once my one-year free subscription is over, I am going elsewhere for my house workouts.

Starting again. I’m writing this because it’ll help me be more committed. I got the FS14i Freestride Trainer in August of 2023 because I hate running. I’ve used stride machines before at the gym (24hr Fitness). The striders are like running on air without banging up your body. I used the FS14i off and on for this first 4 months, noticing I was getting stronger. Then I just stopped for a month or more in November, I think my body was stronger but, I hate running. Well the machine started calling me over kinda like my Harleys would when I would ride the ride my BMW too much, lol. Machines get jealous too. Well I’m about to turn 67 in a few days and I decided to get back on the machine again and I completed the week 1, 1st workout. To my surprise I’m still performing stronger , can’t wait for #2 workout in the morning. Great machine if you’re way out of shape and gained a few pounds or more.

Amazing app!. I love the IFit app on my phone and on my treadmill! The trainers are amazing and knowledgeable. The workouts are well designed and engaging. The programs really help you to see results in your fitness level. I LOVE completing the challenges and watching my workout count increase! Getting challenge magnets is also a motivating program! I love putting them on my machine. One little bug is that sometimes the app doesn’t update the completed workouts count or show workouts completed in a challenge, but it usually resolves in a day or so. UPDATE MAY 2023: I wish there was printable version of the challenge badges that are earned on the machine. I loved getting the magnets and was soooo motivated by them, but I have severely fallen off doing workouts since the magnets were discontinued. Is there are way to print them out so I can post them up on my wall?

Lacks basic functionality. This app works well on the iPad and works well with my treadmill, however it lacks some basic functionality that should without a doubt be included. The first missing feature is the ability to play your own music during a workout, or at least be able to chose the background music iFit has decided to include for a chosen workout. The second missing feature, which almost completely breaks this app for me, is how hard it is to search for specific workouts. For example, I am currently following a workout series and it takes me a few minutes each time i launch the app, to find the same series. I’ve tried searching by the trainer, I’ve tried “favoriting” the series/workout/trainer and it changes nothing, if anything by “favoriting” the workout, I should be able to quickly find what I’ve “favorited”. This app is not very intuitive or user friendly. I hope the app developers read this comment because once these items are addressed, this app will for sure earn 5 stars.

Buggier Than The Rainforest. I love the workouts, trainers, and concept but issues are nonstop. Videos buffer constantly, causing choppy workouts or worse, causing you to start over (no, it’s not my wifi at issue); Airplay up and quit working with the app - huge disappointment as I purchased a TV specifically to use with the app (Airplay works with all my other applications); Last, they recently installed a “radio station” that users are unable to turn off, forcing you to listen to unwanted music, unless you turn the volume all the way down. Worst of all, a black box with song titles remains on the screen (blocking the gorgeous scenery your working out in, which was my initial draw to the app). You can enter full screen mode which removes your speed, incline, and other stats from the screen ☹️but as soon as a new song begins a pop-up box with the song title invades the screen. It has been so disappointing spending time I could be working out trying to fix issues with this app.

Tired of the same old workouts, and now all it does is buffer!. App worked great for the first three years, now all it does is buffer during workouts and never comes back. I tried all the resets as instructed by iFit. Nothing worked. Reached out to iFit again, and was then told that it must be my wifi connection, even though everything was working great before their most recent update. I had to switch to using iFit through my tablet, and now have to manually adjust my treadmill. Had I known this, I would’ve just purchased a cheaper treadmill without the interactivity from the beginning. Second issue is the lack of new programs for running. I’ve had ifit for 4 1/2 years, and have pretty much gone through everything, including using the walking workouts as runs for some variety. I’m letting my current subscription expire, then switching to something else. Recently started trialing the Peloton app, and the variety is second to none.

So much potential, so much frustration. I love the iFit “outside” workout videos - the app & the non-studio based workouts have so much potential!!! Since I love the concept, it’s so frustrating that there are so many problems with the execution (as detailed in many of the other reviews) - I hope they can fix it. Specifically, the lack of a search function is ridiculous, and if you have the (expensive!) membership you should be able to watch all the videos, both on your machine & on your personal device. (I have the Nordictrack rower, and would love to be able to watch the outdoor walking videos without having to also buy a treadmill.) What would be even more awesome would be a totally non-machine dependent iFit membership for phones & tablets, so you could use the programs on any machine (understand it wouldn’t automatically change the machine settings for you) - my dream combination is the Concept 2 rower + iFit on an iPad.

Workout details. Please, please add a feature in each workout that tells you if there is any running/jogging involved in the workout as a small side note! As a heavier girl with a big chest, the clothes I wear for a hike (more comfortable, airy) are much different than those worn on a run or jog (tighter sports bra, higher waist, not ideal clothing for all workouts). When I’m in the middle of a exercise that’s categorized as a walk, I want to know there will be running. I have found that in multiple episodes, I cannot do the workout to my fullest ability because of the clothes I am wearing and not because I cannot physically do it. I haven’t done too many because I just started, but I have found this to be especially true for the Hawaii series. My chest starts flying everywhere and my back hurts or I have to stop the workout, change clothes and restart. This feature would be beneficial for a lot of people I am sure!!

Great programs/trainers but app crashes every workout!. Love my s22i bike and the countless excellent trainers and workouts, but the app is barely functional as of late! Without exaggeration, every single time I’ve gotten on my bike this month, one or more of the workouts I attempt have completely crashed! As in, shut down with “unfortunately iFit has stopped responding” error message and blank eternally loading screen until I’m forced to unplug! Not only is it frustrating to be interrupted like this, but the aborted workouts aren’t even saving! I’ll be midway through a tough climb/push/set and lose all my progress without any way to even restart/resume! It’s driving me insane! And of course I’ve tried all I can on my end like restarting the app, resetting my wifi, boosting the signal—everything I can think of that might help. Please fix this very intrusive problem so I can continue to enjoy my expensive piece of equipment and your trainers’ hard work and content!

Great workouts and coaches, not user friendly. I am really loving all of the workouts and coaches…that I can find after 20 minutes of searching. The problem with the app on your phone versus the app on TV versus the treadmill is that it’s almost impossible to search for and find the workouts you want. It may come up under your search on a phone, but trying to find it on the same app but using your tv and it takes a lot of searching. I found a workout I like while on the treadmill and even though I searched for it on my tv using the exact title used , nothing came up. I finally had to search by coach and page through all of the workouts to find it. In the tv also doesn’t follow the coach workouts in order. Once you complete one you have to go look for the next one. All that said I will continue to use, I just wish it weren’t so hard to find a workout using key words.

Totally Enjoy the content - customer care, not so much.. Workouts are great - love the trainers. The iFit platform - it works but need to organize the app so the next workout in each category shows up & an overhaul on customer service. IT support staff just make up stuff when problems arise. While there is always a solution, it’s not ever apparent and one must go through multiple contacts to find it - all the while being asked, how much was paid for the unit, what is the model number, and serial number on the machine. That info can be found just by checking the email on the account because all the equipment is registered, so why make it difficult for the consumer???? That is how it is - difficult - why pay support staff to disgruntled the customer?? Makes no sense.

Love this training!. I absolutely love iFit on my NordicTrack treadmill. Today I ran the International Niagara Falls 10k for my 6 miles training. It was hard….but I did it! It is so much easier with thes iFit Trainers. They motivate and educate you. Not just on running or health, but they take you to destinations you might never go to otherwise, yesterday I walked through Bolivia and hiked through a preserve in Zimbabwe where the trainer had a guide himself. Today, Niagara Falls! This is totally cool training. I’ve been using this app for a few years now, trying to get back to health after a heart attack..I’m 68 years old and used to run marathons and half’s. I’m now able to train for my first half - my doctor is amazed at my recovery and has approved my running again. I’m using this app to help me train for my first half marathon in 3 years. Thank you, iFit and all the trainers - but especially John Peel.

Minor vertigo but I’m optimistic. Great app in concept, just finished my first run (5k) and it takes some getting used to for all the controls/dashboard. Only complaints right now are that I 1) need to figure out how to mute the coach, he’s great but talked through the whole 5k. I would prefer some fun facts about the area as I wasn’t getting much from his tips. 2) I don’t know why my distance remaining increased when I would run faster. Seems counter intuitive. If I run faster I want to finish the 5k sooner. 3) Don’t have the camera guy run sideways. I saw that at the start of a Grand Teton run to look at a lake and it gave me crazy vertigo as I was running straight on a treadmill and so I switched to a different run. Still had some sideways running but I just looked down until it passed. Overall I’m hopeful that things will get better as I use the program more, but I was asked to rate this after my first run and this is my opinion.

Still hoping to save space. I figured out the subscription well enough to add family members, so I have that going for me which is nice. When it comes to the app itself, there is no way to search for programs by maximum elevation. We got the SpaceSaver SE7i because it was touted as an excellent machine for room restrictions. So. When I’m following a trainer on a hike, I have to bend my head toward my chest when elevation hits 8. 10 is just painful. When I adjust my elevation to 6 (our ceiling max), I am no longer following the trainer. There have to be programs with elevation of 6 or less, so how do I find them? The app update shows you when you need to match BPM, a feature I found annoying when I was supposed to be on a recovery run. I maxed my speed and still the BPM was climbing. How do I turn off this feature? iFit, not all of us are trying to compete or beat something. You need to consider the user that simply wants to exercise without pushing themselves.

Workouts are great but the app needs to improve. i love thé quality of the work outs and variety of exercise and locations that the trainers provide. however i’m struggle to enjoy the experience because the app will freeze up, “buffer” my videos (play audio and keep pace but won’t increase incline/speed), and force quit if i receive a call. sometimes i need to increase brightness/sound on my phone to follow along and the app will close the guided workout i was following and save it as a manual workout. i’d be less upset if there was a way to skip ahead into some workouts so i could just jump back in. the main page does not seem to update with the types of work outs i routinely select or favorite. besides going through my calendar or searching for the specific trainer/exercise, it’s very challenging to quickly locate favorites exercises. i wish there was a way to schedule certain workouts on the calendar to better plan out what to look for. because of all this i hope the app improves to match the quality of content on it.

Faithful Fitness Seeker. I absolutely love all the workouts iFit has to offer. I typically do the bike, walking, running and strength workouts they have in the library. However I really miss the LIVE workouts. I would get up early before work and complete at least one everyday Monday-Friday. I appreciate that they still have the LIVE race events as I still do those, however they cannot compare or make up for the Studio classes Monday-Friday. These LIVE race events also are not nearly as often in frequency that the Studio classes were. I understand there is some type of legal issue associated with the LIVE classes but do not feel as iFit really fought the matter. I will continue to be a faithful iFit user but the library classes without any new LIVE workouts being done can lead to little to no more fitness progress for subscribers like myself. I hope something changes in the next few years.

Maybe you can get into it? But I can’t!. I think that this is a scam! I gave my information and was excited because the format looked legitimate. But then when I try to download or unlock a work out, it won’t let me it has my credit card I’ve paid even though I’m on my free month, you would still think that I would have access to everything that I want and yet I do not! I would not recommend this to anybody especially when you try to login and a little pop-up comes up and tells me to delete the program from Apple and sign up directly with a iFIT I think that’s dishonest. But maybe I’m wrong maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about and for that I would apologize. But it just doesn’t seem to be easy to for a guy who’s 55. And fairly decent at using the computer. The problem with today is that these young people or these older tech savvy people are making programs with the younger person in and you’re forgetting about us other people so my two cents.

Poor Service. I’ve been a member for two years now and can’t understand why they won’t even try to fix the Apple Health syncing issue. Every time I reach out I’m told to do the same thing of removing and reinstalling the app and disconnecting they sync and reconnect. When this clearly doesn’t fix the issue they say it’s a known issue. This has been going on for almost a year now with no fix. My last communication with them last week didn’t even get a response. This is the only app developer I’ve ever known to totally ignore a problem that so many people want to work. It honestly seems to be intentional as it does work with any other app I’ve tried with. I truly wish I had gone with another brand that works. $2500 for a treadmill and hundreds for a membership that doesn’t even work as designed. So very disappointed and hope that others will follow and not renew the membership until it received the attention we deserve. They are still even advertising that it works with Apple Health and clearly it doesn’t.

LOVE THE WORKOUTS….hate the technology and customer service.. As the title states I think the workouts are fabulous and let’s be honest that’s why you get a workout program. However, the technology leaves a lot to be desired (not responsive, crashes, and their constantly changing where things are…just stop that) and if you have any issues don’t expect any help. I have an issue where I do a workout on the Roku and it won’t credit to the challenge so I run it on my phone and the Roku (I get credit for 2 workouts) tried to tell them…it took a month to respond and because I didn’t get back to them right away they closed my ticket. Never did get a response. Asked if I paid for an individual account (compared to the family one I was on) if it would become individual immediately or if it would keep my family until the end. Received 2 different answers and when I tried to clarify they never responded (it’s been about 5 months now).

iFit team: Please add this feature - RPE editing. First of all the app and its options are awesome. SmartAdjust is an extremely cool concept, however I find myself constantly having to change speeds manually in workout. What I’d like to be able to do is set my Rate of Perceived Effort manually in settings outside of the workout, and then inside the workout when the RPE is being changed by the trainer, it auto adjusts to my own RPE 6, 7, 8, or whatever the trainer tells us to push to. If you need any example of this RPE coaching, I am currently on Knox Robinson’s Foundations of Running: Increasing Your Speed 12 workouts. He’s always adjusting the RPE to account for proper interval training, but I always have to adjust up or down in the workout nearly every time he changes it (something like 15-20 changes per 40 minute workout). All this could be adjusted in into SmartAdjust if I could just set my own RPE in my personal settings before I start the workout. My RPE 8 is about 0.0 incline, 8.5 Speed, and when I set it, theoretically SmartAdjust should edit back down and up between the rest cycles and back up to RPE 8, however what happens is that it edits back to to higher-than-my-rest pace settings, and then back up slightly less than my RPE 8, so I have to make two adjustments each interval. If I could just set my own RPE, and work it into SmartAdjust, I’d be set. Thanks.

My First Ride. Is the rating for the App, or more for the trainer. This was my first ride, so I’m not sure which I’m to be rating. The App seems okay, but I’m not sure it’s worth 15$ a month, unless there is more functionality with that payment. Currently, I have a free one year trial from Costco. I was expecting to see awesome landscape, hear great music and have tips from the trainer, Nicole. That’s not what this ride in the Spanish Valley was. It was tips and inspiration from Nicole (you did a great job, five stars to you personally) but there was no music to help my cadence, and the camera was largely focused on Nicole and not the scene around her. It was flat road, which was nice for a first ride with the App, BUT flat road can be boring. I can do flat road out my boring front door. I’d have much preferred drone shots from up above of the vast landscape with Nicole tracked on the road, as opposed to watching her from behind the whole ride. I will tune in again, maybe for a mountain ride tomorrow, and play with the App today to get a better idea of what it has to offer. Thanks!

Best marketing for Pelaton. In fairness, the trainers and workouts are pretty good. Some better than others but that’s to be expected. The problem is the app itself. The technology is terrible. Half the time the workout won’t load. Constantly have to disconnect and reconnect. I spend as much time trying to get the workout to start as I do in the workout itself. Extremely frustrating and frankly defeats the purpose. Cadence and resistance doesn’t track well as the app doesn’t sync with the bike as promised. No way to pause the workout which is ridiculous. Lost the ability to compare speeds and distances with my peer group months ago. Was told it was temporary but it appears permanent. Bottom line is the app came free for a year with the purchase of the bike. If not free I would have cancelled months ago. That said, I would never pay a penny for this app so I’ll be done when my year is up. In the interim, I’m buying a Pelaton. I’d rather pay and get the reliability and quality than deal with this inconsistent garbage app.

Coronavirus quarantine cure. In the three day that I’ve had my Pro Form 505 CST, I have gone running on the beaches of Miami, hiking in the islands of Hawaii, and walking in Paris with a French Guy. I bought the Treadmill knowing I was going to be stuck at home during the coronavirus quarantine. Because the gyms we’re closed and my allergies couldn’t handle the Spring pollen, it was the best decision I’ve made. The iFit workouts allow me to go to different parts of the world while getting to workout. The iFit App motivates me to get on my treadmill every day. Instead of listening to Music and getting bored, I stay focused and do what the iFit instructor says and time flies. I am also Learning history about each place that I fit takes me. I’m loving the husband and wife team in Hawaii (Stacy). Keep up the motivation!

Could be great. Needs some tweaks. Cumbersome to navigate. When I finish a workout treadmill comes to a stop. I have to navigate through the app again to restart and it’s a solid few minutes to get another one going. If I do 20 min workout it will stop at 20 min then require me to go back to fav, pick a new workout, start that up with trainer intro etc. not helpful n Suggestions: 1)create a “ playlist”where it moves into the next workout seamlessly and allows me to organize before my workout so I don’t waste valuable time on my treadmill. Would also enable me to better organize. Now only way to organize upcoming workouts is to favorite them them scroll thru favs to start it up. 2). Workouts need a “skip intro/warm up” option so that if I stack them I can go right into the next without 5 min of chatting at the beginning. 3) . Allow user to set top/bottom speeds and inclines but still use the program. When I use a program (eg: interval workout in Venice) but change the speed of one of the intervals (make walk faster or run slower) it negates the rest of the auto controls. I want a way to set my low and high speeds and have treadmill still follow trainer and kick up to higher speed at intervals and back down even when I have to adjust top speed/ low speed etc. Right now it’s trying to do everything (Ted talks, etc) instead of doing one thing well. Make this easy to use w my treadmill so that I can set up workout in advance then hit play and work out.

endless bugs, buffering. it’s been weeks n multiple support tickets and phone call. Lost WiFi connection in the middle of a session and see the circle of death. But the background music goes on playing!!! I’m sure Google doesn’t agree that their $400 mesh routers to be the blame! The router shows the treadmill connection can be at 100Mbps down, 7Mbps up during the session. Why can’t iFit download the workout instead of streaming the entire time? Bad choice of IT solution! I’ve tried to reinstall, clear cache and update program, restart router, nothing worked! Even put treadmill as top priority in QoS. Issue 2: while having connection problem, I can’t quit the work, the app spins and hangs. Had to power off the machine. Bad programming Issue 3: at least with the St Lucia series, the treadmill belt doesn’t move on each Friday’s session in all the weeks! There’re software developers ignoring dev QA and let the customers discover issues so the business can claim it made “improvements.” This kind of business doesn’t last.

Almost there... I’ve been a NordicTrack CST and Freestryder user for 2+ years now. The iFit app and service has been getting better and better- and with the intro of live workouts it’s clear they are keen to stay abreast of the competition. The content is expanding all the time so if you are an avid home gymer I’d say it’s totally worth the expense. The only thing that I’ve been waiting for that still hasn’t arrived is integration into Apple Health. Everything else in my connected life is linked in for a complete picture except my workouts in iFit. Just seem like an easy thing for such a tech savvy brand to miss. It would be great if my Apple Watch could sync with the machines using gymkit but I suspect this is even further out as it requires a hardware change. Not the case with Apple health sync though- ICON- please please please release this feature, I’ll buy even more machines I promise.

Time of Covid workout. Overall an excellent way to workout at home during this difficult time. Get the same quality workout in the comfort of home. Immersive and fun workouts. Excellent Ifit trainers, knowledgeable and fun to workout with, despite the one way communication between trainer and trainee. Technically advanced that keeps the trainee engaged and looking for to the next workout. Additional refinements are probably on the way but one annoying issue is in the beginning workout. Manual workout starts instead of the selected workout and must go through cancelling to restart. Not a problem just annoying. Should have a way to calibrate the intensity based on level. As an example, the workouts are set by the trainer based on the current workout but does reflect the true intensity set to the equipment. This is a great feature that makes it more immersive but good to be able to adjust the intensity calibrated to the app.

Awesome app, but needs a few major enhancements. The concept of following along the speed and incline of an actual person and place is super immersive. Here are my major issues: - Speed deficit or fitness level options for “follow trainer”, please. There are many videos I would love to use “follow trainer” for, however they are just a bit too fast/advanced for my current fitness level. It would be nice to have different level of fitness options (I.e.: beginner, mid, advanced, actual speed) that automatically adjust the speed and incline for you based off the level. Currently, those who can’t keep up with the trainer’s pace are forced to manually change the speeds / inclines throughout the workout in attempts to match the trainer; it’s super annoying and actually keeps me from trying more exercises. We are all paying for this feature, regardless of fitness level, so making it useable for a wider audience would be nice. - There’s currently no way to search videos by exercise type; I still can’t believe this function doesn’t exist. I have to spend too much time searching through the browse section to find a specific exercise type. There should be a way to search all walking videos, hiking videos, etc. - No video control. If you have to quit an exercise mid-way or the app crashes, there is no way to fast forward to where you were. This is beyond frustrating.

Great idea, poor Software. There have been constant problems with the app for the last three years, and it has been getting progressively worse, until this point I’m ready to unsubscribe. The relatively minor problem is the machine constantly failing to save that an exercise has been completed; losing statistics and causing me to redo some exercise I had already completed. The bigger problem that started since this March (or some time around then) is the machine constantly failing to connect to the Wi-Fi. My router is 5 feet away from the machine, line of sight, plenty available, and no other devices in my house has any issue connecting. As a result, I have to spent 10 minutes putting in passwords for my Wi-Fi multiple times to start an exercise. Once begun, the exercise can stop anywhere, with video not buffering. In a lucky day, the buffering will resume after 5 minutes; otherwise it just spins for 20, 30 minutes. The software can’t even update itself with such unstable connectivity. I actually have purchased extended warranty for the machine. Every call about this problem takes 2+ hours, and all I was directed to do was to enter the administrative mode and re-configure the Wi-Fi at that level. Doesn’t help at all. So much for purchasing the extended warranty! Save your money and spare your trouble. Maybe someday this product will be stable with a more seamless user experience but it’s definitely far away from that at this point.

So worth it. I have been using Ifit for the past few months. Initially I was nervous as a beginner in my workout journey. The fact of the matter is Ifit has something for everyone. The beginners and pros, no matter where you are you can find a trainer who fits you. The amazing trainers they have is awesome. You can filter through who works for you. I am officially hooked and I have done a few different things on the app thus far. So many options I’m still figuring it out. I mainly workout in my garage where I have set up my own personal workout space. My treadmill is my go to but I am in love with the app as a whole. So I would recommend this app to anyone who finds solace with working out at home or who likes to switch it up. I use to only use the gym as a workout spot but when things shut down I needed a space to continue my journey and the Ifit app has done that for me.

Huge fan. Can’t say enough good things about iFit. They’ve thought of everything. Great variety of workouts from live classes to worldwide locations. Trainers are engaging and I always learn something new in each workout. I can walk, run, hike, bike, row, weight train or do yoga on any given day or all in one day if I wanted. The monthly challenges are fun and I look forward to that magnet showing my end result. I participate in all the live 5K runs - which I only started doing thanks to iFit - and the finisher medals make it worth the effort. iFit keeps me motivated by constantly coming up with new ways to help me keep fit especially with the new introduction of smart adjust and active pulse. I also really enjoy the TED talks. I could go on and on about my love of iFit and all it offers. Try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Instead you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.

I can thank this app for starting to get into shape. This is a remarkable program. It has a great blend of prerecorded and live workouts. While Peloton may be slightly better at delivering live studio workouts around the world, iFit has very good live workouts but absolutely crushes them with their prerecorded hikes, runs, bike rides and workouts. Where else can you hike on an old gold mining trail in Alaska with a tour guide, run with Tommy Rivs down the Iberian peninsula learning about the history of the region, the architecture, geology, and working out itself. Walking in Bora Bora, the Alps, Bondi beach Australia, Mt Kilimanjaro, training for 5 and 10ks in Costa Rica, full marathons in Hawaii; it's all here. And if you own multiple pieces of iFit equipment, they can all use the same account and subscription to bike, run, use elliptical, or row. I only have the bike and the treadmill so can only say that I think this program is top notch.

Great potential, execution still lacking. There are many good features, but the interface, speed, and ability to customize is severely lacking. Even on their flagship 5k treadmill, with amazing screen, the back-end interface/Android is severely limited. Slow to load, search, exit from even the simplest apps makes it feel like one is back running on processors from the 1980’s. Unable to modify any of the programs, even created ones, makes it cumbersome. Cannot start a program except at the beginning? Can’t save position and come back? So many features lacking it’s difficult to list the numerous examples, All the guided programs look good, except you are staring at the backside of the guides in nearly all of them. Camera positions should be enabled to be in front of the guides, or not have them in view at all. I suppose some folks like being behind folks for the entire episodes. Music - poorly executed, ability to stream/use other devices is simplistic, doesn’t work, and zero options really to connect to other devices other than if you have a 10 year old iPod. Seriously - the engineers are way way behind on this. On a 1 year subscription that came with the treadmill. Seriously would have a hard time paying monthly for this without significant improvements by the time the subscription ends. And certainly wouldn’t add additional family members onto it for additional price.

Loving this app!. So far (3 weeks in) i am in love with iFit! I am obese and was scared that I wouldn't be able to do most of the exercises on the workouts (especially yoga!) but the trainers do such an excellent job describing the moves that I find it so easy to follow along. I just did a workout on my phone while watching a toddler. Its so easy to squeeze in a workout! I also have a spin bike (s15i) and have been doing Gideon’s beginner cycle series in Bermuda. He is such a joy to follow! I love that he calls us athletes and he always seems to know exactly when I want to give up and shouts out encouragements at the exact right time. I also love that there is an app for my fire tv. This takes away all of my excuses for not being able to work out. Hopefully with this app, ww, and hard work I will lose 100 pounds this year!

Needs major work. I got an elliptical and got a free year of iFit with it. At first I was really enjoying iFit, but problems started to arise. The premade workouts that are listed under the elliptical tab are often designed for a treadmill and speed changes don’t really translate to elliptical use. Also the pre-programmed changed in incline and resistance are often too fast (by the time my incline increases all the way, it’s time to go back down to 0). Or the changes don’t match the workout (why does my incline and resistance go up if it’s during a rest interval). There needs to be better labelling of intensity. One workout was listed as 1/7 intensity, but it had me doing 45 strides/min at an 18 degree incline with almost maxed resistance! Also, it is almost impossible to find a series and do said series in order. Also, I should be able to create my own workout that isn’t tied to google maps? This app has a lot of potential and I think the workouts are cool, but they really dropped the ball on how they actually implemented it within the app.

Fix the iFit app, PLEASE.... I have had iFit for a year now and have had constant issues with loading and buffering. ( I’ve even broken a tablet because of iFit app ). I have sent iFit messages about these issues and they seem to have the same messages back to all customers. After reading numerous other reviews and seeing the same messages over and over. Delete app and reinstall, reset app, log out then log back in. The issue is within the iFit app. Recently iFit server crashed and they keep telling their customers it’s our problem not iFits. I just got an email from iFit noting that they increased their server, but still have the same issues. Maybe take the money that I paid for this expensive app and fix the issues. I only use about a dozen of the workouts and don’t need more workouts loaded that I won’t use and that will slow down iFit’s servers. I sent my last message and it has gone unanswered. My last workout with iFit the app froze and I had to start workout again. Then on my second attempt the app froze again. It’s like going to the gym and finding out all the equipment doesn’t work. Wish there was another app I could use.

Great workouts. Usability is dreadful.. I bought a treadmill that basically has a screen that displays this app. I didn’t think I would ever use this but was surprised that I really like it. However, as others have indicated, this developer is in DESPERATE need of UI expertise on the team. A simple search button would make a world of difference. I found a part 2 of a series that looked interesting but I can’t find part one so I have given up. The filters they give at the top of the browse section are laughable... I’m not going to pick my workout because I want to see a beach vs mountain behind the trainer. It gives me the option to pair by “pressing the ifit button on the treadmill” but there is no button and trying to pair with the Bluetooth button is for audio only. I do hope improvements are coming as I could see myself giving up and doing manual workouts as I run out of interesting workouts on the main screen and don’t want to spend 10 minutes finding one each day.

Enjoying so far but far from perfect. I’m enjoying the IFIT app. I wish the descriptions were better, allowing you to have a better idea of what the workout is before starting. Titles are often misleading. Ratings (beginning, intermediate etc.) don’t really seem to be based on the actual workout but more so preset parameters and not really relevant. Most work out categories I’ve been able to find workouts I enjoy and fit my needs with the exception of Yoga. I’ve gone back to my previous yoga app. IFIT doesn’t currently offer much in the way of yoga classes and descriptions are extremely poor in that regard. I really wish in cycle workouts you could mute the chit chat and just get training ques. I started IFIT back when they still had the incentive programs. I purchased a Nordic track with IFIT over a Peloton after trying both machines and incentives didn’t factor into that decision, but I do wish they could bring them back. Not regretting my choice.

Great, inspiring workouts. I haven’t been this motivated in a long time. The monthly challenges keep me engaged . The goals over the year keep me coming back! I only found a few trainers that were not a good fit for me but all the rest are great and so down to earth! The smart adjust was a big add when that showed up! My only complaint is that you can’t run other equipment workouts from a different machine. I have an integrated bike with a big screen. It is right next to my old elliptical machine. I would love to share the screen but I have to pull my iPad out to do the elliptical workouts. Seems petty to restrict when you can do them another way. But, still, I can get a variety of good workouts in and love touring the world through the screen as I do it!

Has Many Pros & A Few Cons. I got my first machine, a ProForm bike, in early June of last year. Overall, a wonderful experience. I plan to get a rower next, but I can’t deny there have been some real negatives in the past few months. Challenges with the various platforms and their behaviors, iFit works differently between the app, the machine and the desktop. Very hard to negotiate. IFit customer support is great, but it’s difficult to get to them if you don’t want to use social media. Finally, there doesn’t seem to be any training for the trainers. iFit seems to just throw them out there. You have absolutely top notch superb trainers, and you have people who cannot get their thoughts together for a 20 minute session. Do I absolutely love working out for the first time in my life? YES! Do I really hope you guys can negotiate the financial issues and make this a more consistent product? Also yes!

Lacking some essential features. There are a few features that are missing from this app, features that should be essentials. - The app should let you log in with your biometrics (fingerprint or face). Forcing me to log in before starting is difficult when the tablet is mounted on the treadmill. - The app should also let you pre-load your login credentials from the saved passwords on my keychain. Doesn’t do it. If you select the given credentials, the login screen just stays blank. - If your internet connection is not present at the time you finish your workout, the app throws up an error screen and deletes (or just loses) the workout information. The app should save the workout in cache or locally until an internet connection can be re-established. My treadmill is in my basement, very spotty WiFi service there. There are lots of fun features and creative workout capabilities, but the above are simple, essential gaps.

It’s okay but it has a lot of flaws. This app has a lot of potential. However there are some definite updates that I would like to see. The social aspect of the app seems to be broken. I can’t find my friends and family to add them and they can’t find me. The music on the app is pretty weak compared to Peloton so adding any updates to the music would be an improvement. I also wish they had bike rides without the trainer. Sometimes I just want to ride and not have someone riding in front of me. The other thing that kind of ties into that is I would like to just have nature sounds or live sounds. I don’t always want to hear a trainer and I definitely don’t want to listen to that music. If there was an option to just have live sounds I would totally be into that. The one thing they should definitely fix is the ability to fast forward and rewind. Not having the ability to pick up where I left off is probably the biggest drawback of the app as a whole. Like I said it’s not a bad app but there is definitely work that needs to be done.

Could be better. We subscribed to this App for our new Profrom bike.......and while it is nice overall this app would benefit from some improvements. I wrote an email to their support, but no answer - so let me try this way. - $15 per month is quite pricy! Yes the app has programs for running, biking, CrossFit.... you name it they have it. BUT I don’t want this! I only want bike programs! They should price this differently - I only want to pay for biking programs! I don’t even want to see the rest, it makes the app to cluttered with programs I don’t want. - base resistance on most workouts is too low for me, but when you change the resistance during the workout it won’t auto adjust anymore.....I propose letting everybody set there base resistance and then let the trainer adjust by going up and down from there - for me many programs are just too easy. - I find the trainers talk to much - I rather mute them and play my own music - BUT now I cannot hear their instructions about how fast (cadence) I should be going! This info should be put on the screen just like the resistance is so we don’t need to listen to the trainer - think about how annoying if you do the same program over and over because you like the ride....and you have to listen to the same story over and over...... So overall a decent app that could be easily made excellent with an update!

Great app for Nordic and Proform Equipment. The workouts are great and there is a broad selection of types of workouts across elliptical, rowing, strength, treadmill, mindfulness, yoga and more. Additionally, the variety of trainers is excellent. I’ve been a member of iFit since 2019 and unfortunately things that made it more worthwhile and fun - like the little magnets you’d get mailed to you for completing a series - have been completely discontinued and replaced with a digital “award shelf” in the app. Other milestone rewards such as workout towels, iFit banners, shirts, etc. have been discontinued and instead you *might* be randomly selected to be one of the few “lucky” winners to purchase said merchandise items + shipping. There’s also been a reduction/fall off of live workouts that really were fun and engaging throughout Covid. Not to mention the FB group and Reddit is filled with complaints about equipment being bricked and no longer functioning with software updates on equipment with built in screens. Pro tip - get a piece of Nordic or Proform equipment *without* a screen and use the tablet mount and an iPad. Much cheaper. All in all, it’s worth it IF you workout regularly and stick with it. It is expensive and while they do have deals occasionally on the subscription, never never never pay full price. If I had to I wouldn’t renew.

Great motivation!. I love exploring the world and getting in a great workout all at the same time! It keeps me motivated. I love that it tracks my workouts so I can actually see how far I have come it keeps me accountable. Awards for series are nice and will get me out of bed to finish that last workout in the challenge. If you workout from home but can’t find the motivation or maybe you don’t know exactly how to train I highly recommend ifit. Having 2 little kids and trying to find time for the gym or getting outside in the winter just didn’t happen for me. It’s so nice to be able to wake up and walk right into my workout to start the day right! Their customer service takes a bit to respond but they are super helpful and will take the time to help you solve your problem!

IFit Makes it FUN!. 67 years old and had forgotten how much I love running. That is,until I started using our treadmill with iFit. The trainers and the guides always give us something new. And even though you know it’s usually a recording (unless you’re doing a live workout - they have those too!) it feels like they’re right there with you. As a bonus, you get to travel the world to amazing places with fascinating stories. It makes working out a reward at the end of my day. The Smart Adjust feature adds another level by making it easy to shift the workouts up or down in intensity and have that follow through the rest of the workout. The last time I updated I said that the app had been kicking me out a lot. Solved the mystery. It was actually the fan in my treadmill that was the culprit. Something to check if that problem comes up.

I want to love this iFit app.... I love the trainers, I love my iFit compatible equipment (bike and rower) and I love the variety of classes available, but I can’t quite love the app. Overall, it really is pretty good. It’s bright and appealing, the streaming seems to have improved a bit, and it provides a decent set of options and metrics while working out. I’d bump it to a 5 star if a couples issues were addressed. First, the search abilityneeds some improvement, being able to categorize, search by time/distance/type and even trainer all in parallel. There’s a bug also in that if you do a workout that you’ve already completed, the app does not accumulate it into your weekly metrics. There is a local trainer who has some sessions riding local trails that I love to do, but always wind up shorted on my weekly metrics because of that. Or if youre new to rowing like me, I frequently re-do some of the studio classes which forum on form and tempo.
