Frustrating and false sense of security. We have not had a positive experience at all with this app and the SPACETALK watch. These products are unreliable and I would not purchase again. I’ve had to return the watch because it overheated to where my daughter had to remove it from her wrist and the data connection would constantly drop out making it stressful when I tried reaching her at after school events. The malfunction was supposedly caused by sweat getting into the SIM, and the repaired watch (only 6 months old) was returned without a SIM. Delivery of new SIM took several days, and now I’m having issues installing it. I keep getting locked out of the app with a message that my subscription has expired... again. I now need to wait for the office hours to get support - good start to the day. Another week that we can’t rely on using this watch. Should have bought an Apple Watch - might be more expensive, but at least I know I can rely on it! Don’t waste your time on SPACETALK or AllMyTribe - not worth it.

Aunty can’t use it. I keep trying to join the app with invitations from my sister whose kids have the watch, and in no way does it do what it says it will do if she adds me or if I add her. The website directions and the email I received are both incorrect. I also asked customer service about watch-to-watch functionality and they couldn’t have been less helpful. I don’t think I’m going to buy my daughter one.

It is a rip off!. It is not clearly stated that when you buy a watch you also need to pay for an expensive app subscription to be able to use basic functionality. It is always mentioned in subtext. I am definitely not happy.

Love the watches!. Absolute in love with these watches for my two beautiful children. Well worth saving for. I have one child with additional needs and as a a single mum I worry about them when I am at work. Such a great way to make sure they can always contact me or a loved one. The school mode is fantastic and even for my little boy who can’t read hey he can adult use the watch and call people when he needs to. No piece on piece of mind. I love these watches. Thank you space talk for inventing sick a great watch.

Excellent app and dev team. From what I observed after buying the watch in its first week of release that they had a scratchy start. App was limited in functionality and the watch was unreliable. Just by the software updates on both app and watch (firmware), they improved the usability multifolds. On many occasions, Dev team manager contacted me directly to obtain feedback and then in promised timeframe, implemented all of them. I have no hesitation in recommending AllMyTribe to parents and children wanting to use a reliable Aussie smart watch with tracking and calling ability. If any issues, contact their support team, they are very responsive and capable.

Why Paid Subscription. As far as the app goes it has few features and they work without issue. My only negative is the need to have a paid subscription to use a watch with this app. For the 2+ years I used this there never were any updates. So if the app is not getting improved with the money why charge? Given there are other similar free apps just like this (Kids Watch) the value for money is not there.

Fantastic. 6 yr old loves it and I find it easy to manage. Lasts all day. Makes and takes calls and is not a phone. Do not buy your kid a smart phone, this is way better for many reasons! Only downside is a lack of a protective bezel but they repair fast and cheap if you need to.

Meets main expectations. No regrets. Brought one for our 7yo. The Watch/Phone/Tracker meets our main requirements and the developers are very responsive to suggestions for improvements. Added bonus has our daughter is learning responsible use. Have recommended it to several friends.

Pretty accurate tracking. Have the watch for few weeks now and it has been working great. The tracking is pretty accurate however would be better if we, the parents get to track whenever we need to, rather than waiting for the interval set of time that the watch allocate. Even within a short 5 mins, things can happen. Overall, it is a great product with great customer service and support. Highly recommended.

Great app. I love this app, but could be improved. It crashes occasionally and it would be good to be able to check watch location on demand, rather than wait for timed updates. It also seems to use up parent phone batteries too. Other than that, this works really well.

Great for knowing where my child is. I love the All my Tribe app. It’s great for my daughter and I to call each other or to message. I know where she is at all times so it always puts my mind at ease. I would highly recommend this app to other parents.

Useful. Very useful to see where my child is at. Wish the watch had a better battery life. I would like a discount 6-12 month subscription be possible. Paying for the watch then a sim plan then subscription on top is a bit much without a discounted bulk subscription option.

Barrery life. Im very happy with the Spacetalk watch & all its fratures. My son uses it and its great to contact him after school or at friends house & yo know where he is exactly. The only negative thing would be the battery life as it really only lasts one day & if my son forgets to put it on charge at nighttime then he cant wear the next day. Would be great if they could increase battery life for these watches.

Quick and easy, nice functionality. We have been using this App with our smart watch for a couple of weeks and find it really easy to use. When I had some questions about setting up school mode the customer service person was knowledgeable and helpful. It would be good to be notified about which phone numbers had tried to ph or sms the smartwatch and grant permission “on the fly”. I like being able to alter the gps updating time frame in order to reduce battery drain.

Raymond Moffat. My wife has Alzheimer’s disease. She tends to wander away then doesn’t have any idea where she is or how to get help. My son saw Space talk watches and purchased one for his daughter and one for my wife. The functions are great. We can keep track of our people and even talk to them if they get into a panic situation. A totally worth while investment.

Wonderful.. Daughter loves this, it makes her feel safe. Would love it if the alarm didn’t go off if the watch is on charger, Alarms should be disabled when being charged if possible. Overall love this watch, and customer service is great.

Brilliant - wish we had one earlier. Has saved us countless hours with pickup routines and avoiding rush hour chaos at school. Ideal when changes to schedules, delays, excursions, sport, or at friends- so easy to call/text, and assurance with safe zones. No distractions as with smartphones. Very sturdy, durable, works so smoothly. No scratches after >6 mths despite lots of sport & play outdoors. The recently added Reward Stars function is a huge hit! Highly recommended.

Fantastic product and after sales service. We’ve now had our space talk in our household for the last four months and it’s working a treat! Our son loves being able to contact us and vice versa the reward stars are brilliant and knowing where he is at any given time is peace of mind for us. I was especially impressed with the after sales service when we needed to replace the buckle on the watch. There were no issues and a replacement product was sent the very next day I – at no charge. I would not hesitate to recommend this product!

Nice watch but battery can be optimised!. It’s a nice watch bit expensive as have to pay monthly subscription but happy to pay if it works. Only issue is I have to keep Watch at 30 min location sharing option otherwise battery drains within less than a day. I would like to have Watch setup at 5 or 10 min option (ideally) but feel bit scared. Other than that it’s a nice watch and my son enjoys.

BATTERY LIFE IS VERY SHORT. The watch is very helpful and is a great help to give kids some independence and parents peace of mind. Battery life is very short can only last the day.. changing the frequency of location updates slowed battery consumption but still short. Allymytribe should improve this feature to make the watch a more reliable device!

The best for kids 👌. It’s a relief to know that i can call and message my son and everything it’s linked to my phone. I can allow who calls him and not and I can set time to arrive at school. This is just perfect for me.

Great product. Bought this for my 11 year old. I like how we can track him and he can call/text us. He thinks it is a little chunky for his wrist, but otherwise enjoying the ability to be able to communicate with family and friends when out and about. It’s a great first step before a phone. App and phone are easy to use. I contacted customer support as I was concerned my son would be allergic to the band. I received a detailed email back promptly with a scientific explanation about why the band shouldn’t be an issue as it doesn’t use certain chemicals that are usually the culprits.

Fail. "Contacts" doesn't contact. Says "no contacts" although in the app the contact is clearly correct. - -also, the device fails to respond to swipes to the left when I try to go to "settings". -aalso I get messages to upgrade the operating system but here on my iPhone I can find no option to do that. If endless numbers of customers are having these problems your company will crash, and I was so unwise as to buy shares on it!!!

Excellent initiative that avoids need for a phone and keeps kids safe. We purchased the Spacetalk watch for our 11 year old and we couldn’t be happier with it. Excellent value for money given the peace of mind it brings! It alerts us when it’s switched off when he’s left school grounds and cannot receive calls or messages from unauthorized numbers! The fact that there are no apps, no games, no access to social media or internet was a big part of our decision to purchase this particular device! Reception quality with calls is excellent and location tracking is brilliant. We received the watch within 24 hours of ordering it! Great customer service. This is a must by for parents wanting to avoid a phone as long as possible but also be able to keep in contact safely with their kids! Brooke

Recent update. Have absolutely loved this watch for my 9year old but after the recent app update for some reason it has put school mode on even when it shouldn’t be and no matter what I do I can’t remove it so my son can no longer use the watch.

It works - but not without issues. It works as a phone and for messaging but recently notification alerts have stopped working properly - wear alerts happen in the middle of the night, notifications occur as pop ups but then cannot be found in the app and the notifications list has stopped since 27 January 2024. This needs to be fixed Spacetalk!

Not Recommended!!! Nothing but a complete fail of a watch!. Watch is Extremely unreliable! Have a Telstra sim as recommended by spacetalk and still constantly loosing position and not able to locate! Out of range most of the time! Sydney metro not evening in the country? Customer service want me to send watch to inspect and keep my 6 year old without a replacement with no way to keep track of! The point of the watch is to keep track obviously!!! Try telling them that you think they would be the first to agree! Work that out! Very disappointed....

Great Watch - App needs some crucial tweaking. Just purchased the Adventurer 2 for our 9 year old. The watch is quite pricey but it is great quality. We waited until it was on sale. The monthly app subscription and sim plan are definitely higher than what we were expecting so we are trialing it at this stage. It’s a great first step before a mobile phone. The features and limitations are great. The app itself is not the easiest to set up. We are pretty IT savvy and it wasn’t clear in some parts. Notifications are a problem. Beware using the chat function - There are no notifications sent to your phone app when you receive one, nor is there a little red 1 notification next to the app if there is one waiting like all other apps. My son had sent a chat message to me multiple times however I had no idea. Spacetalk - please update this! The other thing that would be useful is if the user of the watch misses a call, text or chat that the notification stays on the home screen - again calls, texts and chats are missed unless they physically swipe and check each icon on their phone.

Brilliant. The watch is fantastic and I love being able to communicate with my child. It’s giving him some indépendance and me peace of mind. The app is easy to use and we set it all up very easily. A keyboard for SMS would be great but the set messages are enough.

No idea how to login to my account 🤷🏻‍♀️. I like this product but trying to login to my account is impossible. You can’t change your password unless you’re in the app (so email link doesn’t arrive if requested via desktop) and then, when you do manage to change it (link arrives if requested via app), the new password doesn’t work in the desktop site and disables your account. So I can’t “manage my account”.

What a great watch. Really awesome watch my child really loves it after Christmas going back to school it just so happens that nearly all the kids in the school had the same watch so obviously the product is a good one lots of research done on it before was purchased all the apps run perfectly reasonably priced

Does what it says on the box. The app is a little slow to locate the Spacetalk watch but apart from that it is powerful, easy to use and gives exactly the control we need. Alerts are VERY helpful too - for example the one about battery getting low.

Space talk is amazing. I don’t have it on this but my mum has it on her phone and I’m going to be talking about the actual watch I am 10 years old and I got a space talk for Christmas and me and my mum absolutely love it it’s an amazing watch good quality and it’s perfect because I’ve gotten to a stage where I love going out bike rides with my friends and there’s an SOS button in case of an emergency and I can text and call my mum dad and brother there is also step count so I can see how much steps I have taken but I also really like the settings it’s very simple and I also like how it has the weather in fact I almost like everything on it and stopwatch is pretty cool to. I haven’t used reward stars yet but a friend of mine has who also has a space talk watch and they say it’s really cool. I think the space talk is amazing 10 out of 10

Spacetalk. I purchased a Spacetalk watch nearly 2 years. It has been the best investment I have made in a long time, my daughter wears it daily, with it’s convenient ’school mode’ turning it back into just a simple watch during school hours and countless other features it’s gives me the peace of mind knowing where she is, and both of us the confidence in allowing more independence and freedom. I cannot recommend this product more highly! 11/10

Best idea ever.. A brilliant watch, easy to use & easy to set up. My 10yr old loves all the features and the extra confidence it has given her to be more independent. Her friends love how their photos are on her watch face background. Highly recommend.

Update has stuffed the location feature. We loved this watch until the update with the “location on demand” feature came along. Now the location never updates as it should and the location on demand has not worked once. The GPS feature is now effectively useless.

Good concept but needs work. My sons Watch is “playing up”. I was happy with it for about 2 weeks, now the reminders I have set keep going off at random times. Which is causing him distress at school as he thinks he’s meant to be meeting me and I’m not there as the alarm has gone off on the wrong day. Also the gps doesn’t update at the times that have been set. And if he receives a message he has to wait 10mins before reading it as the watch goes “blank” when clicking on messages. Not very happy at the moment

Love it!. I really love that I can contact my children when not with them, and have peace of mind knowing that they can contact me whenever they need to. I do find the location doesn’t update correctly sometimes. I receive a notification and it startled me. Eg. Your child has not reach school yet, knowing full well they have. Also, the battery life could be better. But other than that, it’s a wonderful tool for such peace of mind. Thank you!

Love it. This app and watch are fantastic! My 7 year old has stopped trying to convince me that she needs a smart phone (like that was ever going to happen lol).. We can now communicate when her after school activities finish and I don’t have to worry about anyone contacting her online that she doesn’t know. It’s a perfect ‘compromise’ for my child that is growing up way too fast!

Super good!!. Calls, messages the only bad thing is that I can’t see my messages and that it takes soo long to add people to my watch contacts. it took 3 days Still the best watch after Apple! Only watch I can rely on to call and message without Dad saying I’m not old enough LOL! I love the private chat feature.

Tjhutton. Overall not bad, had done a lot of research into various brands and this wasn’t my number 1 choice, the moochies brand was better priced and more functional. Due to time restraints had to settle on these for my 2 daughters (8 & 7) albeit they love them. My biggest complaint is battery life and that they have to be put on charge every night, they only just manage to get through the day and also the sos button is to easy to knock, not sure on a solution fix for that

Every child should have one!. This watch has given us such peace of mind when our son is at school and also sports / after school activities. It works well, no issues thus far and we have had it for a month now. He keeps it on outside of school also, until he goes to bed actually. He can check his step count and it also provides additional security on family outings or a simple grocery store run. Every child should have one of these for their safety. Do not hesitate to purchase.

SpaceTalk Adventurer Watch & App. As a parent wanting to know where my child is, this phone/watch has been an invaluable tool. My son went on a school excursion today, and I was able to see where he was during the day giving me peace of mind. I highly recommend this phone/watch my son can use it very easily and loves using the pedometer. Thanks

Wrist band keeps falling off. Both my kids have this watch. We had the old ones which didn’t last, so bought the adventure one. It’s chunky for a little wrist. The kids love calling me on it before and after school. The GPS isn’t very accurate. So probably could have saved myself $200 per watch and just bought the plain watch series for $135 each kid. You’ll also need a monthly subscription per kid if you buy the gps series. On top of your $15/ month SIM card per kid. The on and off button is underneath which is super annoying because by the time you push in the press stud on the wrist band , the kids can’t turn it off and on which they need to do several times a day. Off the save the battery. On when they want to know the time or call me, off when at school. On when school is finished. A on/off button on the side of the phone was much more convenient. the wrist band always pops off the kids wrists during the day. Soo annoying! $349 this watch cost and it can’t even stay in their wrist! They end up leaving their watch in their school bags because it’s annoying . So maybe just give them your old phone and delete all apps or put some block on screen time.

Good product. It’s really good and handy the family loves to be able to call their nephew or grandson at any time and have a one-on-one conversation he also feels a bit important and independent even though he’s only eight

Unreliable Watch but excellent service. Bought the watch in January 2018. Had a number of connection issues throughout the year. The watch would go offline meaning wearer could not use the watch and I could not track or phone them. I would return the watch for repairs but same problems would arise a few weeks later. After 9 months I received a replacement watch but connection problems persisted. Watch wasn’t reliable for me. When it worked it was great but it simply didn’t work often enough. If my son was in an emergency situation, I could not rely on the watch to locate or contact him. I eventually gave up. Like other kids GPS watches on the market, unreliability is a problem. Hopefully technology advancements in years to come will resolve this issue. If you have the money, I recommend an Apple Watch-it’s the only watch I’ve found to work reliably. One final note-the service this company provides was exceptional. Just a shame the product didn’t match it.

Good tool but GPS is sometimes out quite a long way. GPS alerts me inaccurately that they’ve gone out of the home zone. They’re sitting on the couch but the watch says they’re about 1km away. Has happened while they’re out playing which freaked me out a bit obviously until getting confirmation. Also needs to be water resistant. Overall 3 Star.

Spacetalk watch. Best watch ever for young children especially now with very affordable phone plans with unlimited calls and text so happy bought this watch fantastic

Awesome gadget. My daughter loves this watch as she can video call us whenever she wants. It has made us to communicate easily when she is in school. And a really good thing is we can put it in school mode and take out whenever we want. It’s easy to track her location and activities as well.

Loop Watch Product Fail. I returned the Loop watch that I purchased 5 weeks ago and requested a refund. As I purchased the Loop watch for my daughter to wear to school, although the texts are limited to preset texts which is very clumsy and the biggest disappointment is that the battery does not even last the full school day which makes the watch useless. Which is disappointing as I had previously purchased a Spacetalk Adventurer 2 watch that has been mostly good. Also since returning the Loop watch I have now found that I will need to forfeit the remainder of the Spacetalk 365 day wearable plan that I had purchased as the SIM card cannot be used in a phone. The only way I can continue to use the 365 day plan is to purchase another Spacetalk watch product which is not fair trading and should not be allowed. I will not be purchasing another Spacetalk product.

Best purchase. The phone watches have been such a great purchase for our 12 and 15 year old children. It makes accessing them easy and it fills you with confidence knowing that they can contact them at any time.

Not worth it. Watch doesn’t receive calls. Can’t access voice mail. Now the device has dropped off the app and you can’t pair it twice. I have to reset the watch. Go to reset the watch and it says it can’t because I need to renew through the app. Hopeless and swish I’d never invested the purchase price. It’s not even a year old. Customer service emails where good but told me I needed another provider which isn’t helpful when you want to bundle five people in a family.

Close but.... The watch and software work well but there are three things that could be improved. 1. Given the watch is the most expensive on the market, the subscription fee is quite high after covering the telecom fees as well. 2. The geo fencing is crude. 140m min radius is not practical for me. I live next to our school so I cannot create a safe zone for home that is seperate to my daughter’s school. I understand why but the positioning is quite accurate and other brands allow you to draw boundary lines on a map. 3. There is no alarm if the watch is removed or there are is no movement. So if there was an incident where the watch was removed, I wouldn’t be notified. Oh, and the colour range is very limited. Try getting your 5 year old daughter to wear blue, red or grey.
