a few suggestions. this app is a perfect place to vent, i’ve met so many people who made me feel less alone and have shown me love and even just helpful tips. i only have a small problem with a few things, such as, why do we have to have our full name on there & a picture ? it seems personal to do that, especially if we go there to feel safe. we should be able to have usernames instead. second, we shouldn’t be able to be labeled as a Helper after only about four ‘Helpfuls’ received. that’s not enough to qualify someone as that. it happened to me so i asked to have it removed because more people were helping me out than i was with them. lastly, i don’t like how it lets someone know that you visited their profile. i’d prefer to keep that private on both ends because i’m uncomfortable with people knowing that i’ve lurked.

Changed my life for the better. When I first downloaded Wisdo, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was instantly welcomed and found myself surrounded by a community willing to support or just listen to me. In a world where wisdom seems to be scarce, this app is a breath of fresh air, and I’m proud to be a part of it. I highly recommend Wisdo to anyone who needs support, encouragement, or just a place to share their thoughts and feelings. Being among people who understand what you’re going through is such an incredible blessing and has made me realize that I have never truly been alone.

Useful however changed a lot. When I first got this app, it was about a year or two ago. It was refreshing, being able to meet other people and see that you were not alone in your thoughts. The app in the beginning was a good place for others to escape or seek advice. It provided a safe community for others who are probably unable to have that offline. It been a while since I been on this app, so I was extremely surprised to see that they now have you pay for membership to talk in the groupchats. It's was extremely disappointing. This app helped me through so much and now I don't have access to it anymore. If it weren't for the subscription, I wouldn't have rated this 1 star. Some people do not have access to money, yet alone enough for therapy. This app used to be helpful in that situation. The community that once existed is now unobtainable.

Why I can’t use this app but I still did. This is one of the best apps I’ve ever used first off let me tell you, you need to be 17 and up because that’s the rules. Being a rebellious and depressed teen I need this. So I singed in and was like how do I do this. So I started to almond to people who need help and I started to feel better I did not hold back I told people everything about me. I started talk to a young lady and she and I talked and talked and talked and I felt amazing this is one of the best experiences of my life...but one day no one responded .”that’s weird” I thought but I did not care that much next day came no responses then the next then the next and I thought everyone has forgotten about me and I was getting sad again but then I looked and I got a message saying they found out I was too young and my account suspended but if you liked a good way to get things off your chest this is the app for you

Don’t get this app. This app is a mess. Me and a woman had a misunderstanding and no one cursed or disrespected anyone. We ended up connecting and talking and nothing bad came from it. I apologized for coming off like I did cause you can only understand so much through text. So I get a message the next morning from a supervisor named isha talking about I violated guidelines. So I went and read them. None of my posts violated these guidelines. My profile picture is up so I strongly believe she was being racist and I replied to her with “bye, you’re bored leave me alone”. Definitely seemed to me as though she was bored cause I hadn’t even said anything rude to the woman I had spoke to. After I sent that the lady was bothered and messed with my account. Like explain to me how a app that’s supposed to help with depression, anxiety, etc. has people in charge that can just come and start saying whatever is disrespect to them and doing whatever with your account cause they don’t like what you said. That’s not going to help anyone especially when their racist. So refrain from getting this app if you don’t wanna have to deal with petty childishness and racism as I did.

This is Legit Best App Ever. Everyone should try it out! We all have something we can relate to in here. We all are understanding open minded and just want to help. Very confidential & supportive. When we feel lost, hurt, alone, in a situation we just can’t handle in life. Don’t know who to turn to or what can be done. The guides in here are super hero’s without the capes in spandex. I could lose the Facebook and clash of clans. I’ll never look back. Hesitating? My advice to you Try it out and look for a group you relate to. Only way you will understand if to open up share a little something about yourself you are struggling with. Simple as that. Reading other stories can help you too by comparison because it’s all relevant. When you join don’t use real name so you can stay anonymous and sharing your story will feel less invasive. I hope you try it. Real people, real experience, real support from people who really care. Real community Sincerely, Franco Pal

Love this app.. Joined September of 2018. Started out, in a rocky place. Posting and hearing others feedback really reassured me in my situation. Fast forward a month or so and I was chosen as a helper, they recognized that I have been giving advice to many people and liked to help in any way that I could. It’s a great feeling when you’re recognized like that. Fast forward again 2 months (I had taken a break from the app for a bit) and I was back to helping people. I was then chosen to be a guide. Again, it’s a great feeling when this is recognized and they notice you’re doing good things and decide you’re a good choice to be a guide, aka -a moderator for the app. I now continue to help others in any way possible. When I see someone write back something like “thank you, this is what I needed to hear” or “thank you so much for helping me through this” you get a sense of fullness and happiness, it’s like no other. thank you wisdo.

This app changed my life. I discovered Wisdo by accident. I saw it on an ad and decided to download it, not really sure what to expect. I was in a bad place and really needed something to make me feel better. When I joined, I found different chats/threads that I could join that related to struggles in my life. I joined an Anxiety chat, relationship advice chat, and even a chat geared towards Body Positivity. I would share my problem and people around the world would give me insight and feed back. It started making me feel less alone and I go on every day and chat with people! You can help people and receive advice. It changed my life. I’m so much happier since I downloaded this app!!! 5/5 recommend.

Worth the download. I’ve had this app for less than a day as of writing this review and I’m so happy with it. I deal with a lot of depression related problems and I never open up to people but I love to help people with their own problems. Within the few hours I’ve had the app I’ve connected with close to 9 people including moderators all sharing my difficulties and everyone is super helpful and friendly. If you are struggling with any kind of problems I highly suggest you give it a download, and it’s free there’s no bs micro transactions you just to make an account with Facebook or your number. What do you have to lose, it’s really been a welcoming app and I am happy to keep using it :)

Need help? Download this. When I first downloaded this app I had low expectations for it but this app is really helpful. When you first open it you select a category that you’ve felt for example anxiety, depression, heartbreak, loneliness ETC. and you have the option to talk to people just like you who have gone through similar stuff and who are wanting to help. With this app you don’t really feel pressured to talk and when you do talk nobody judges you. This app has gotten me through some times and it has help me answer most of my questions about certain stuff. 10/10 would recommend this app to anybody who is feeling low or confused.

No good. I went to this app to use as a source to connect and talk about some issues I struggle with that many people do on this app. It’s therapeutic to talk about something someone else is also experiencing. But this app has been nothing but negativity. People are starting to use this as a dating app or something. Asking for snapchats and numbers and even nudes.I got harassed by one of the “founders” for two reasons they couldn’t explain. My account was also locked for some reason. I can’t even get in. Its unprofessional, I didn’t even know who I was talking to and they made up a complete lie. They couldn’t tell me their relation to this app except that they were the “highest” person of contact. I noticed a lot of negativity as far as the chats and responses, some vulgar. Although there are countless amazing people on this app and tons of support, this app is DEFINITELY one I don’t recommend.

Do not get this app ever. I thought the same thing every one else did when they downloaded this app, that it can help with depression and anxiety and so on, but it was not good what so ever, and I’m warning others to please don’t even try this app, when I used the app I noticed the guides would ignore people, they would choose people to talk to and if they did not like you they would make it so that they had every guide gang up on you, it’s like a clang of bullies, and if some one disagreed with what the guide may have said, then that guide would remove that persons account completely, and if they did not do that then they would comment back in a very rude and abusive way, basically yelling at the individual that disagreed with the guide, and as soon as one guide said some rude things to the person that disagreed, well then the other guides would gang up on that one person, it broke my heart to see the guides doing such disgusting things, and the thing is you can’t block guides so you would just have to sit there and let these people yell in your face, once I deleted it for good, I noticed I started becoming more happy, for real all this app does is cause stress, and is just disgusting, I warned many people I know not to ever get this app, and I’m warning you please do not get this app.

You gotta pay to use this. Here I am, trying to grow, and find an ad for this app. “WOW!” I think to myself, “What a great idea!” Peers that I can talk to, get advice from, and I can even help others where I’m able to? Awesome. I’m super excited, eager to reach out- which I’ve never had the courage to do in this sort of fashion; and whabam! They sneak in the billing after making you go through and mark what specific areas you need help with. For the creators to charge money to use an app as important as this, is disappointing. The creators, and I hope they’re reading this, are garbage. My advice: go find a subReddit specific to what you want peer help with. It’s basically the same idea but free and people are genuine, they actually care. And they won’t try to take your money.

My mental health outlet!. I downloaded initially with some questions regarding an upcoming cancer procedure. When I got in, I realized it was so much more! So many people struggle with the day-to-day drama created by the outside world. This app allows you to chat with peers and stay in the solution. I like it most because there is no pressure. You can watch the chats until you’re ready to jump in; people are supportive and communicative. The moderators (“guides”) are there to help 24/7. From ADHD to relocation, the chats cover just about every facet of mental health advocacy. If you’re stressed about something, Wisdo can help! 💜

I was a committed helper. I used to be a committed helper in the wisdo community, and at one point was asked to become a ambassador. I left and tried installing it 6-8 months later. Anyways I don’t understand where you are going with payments. I’m not sure if the system has changed since I can’t view unless I pay. I would not use this app anymore if I have to pay to help other people through your app. That seems pretty low, and definitely not something I ever want to be a part of. It doesn’t align with my morals. I hope the people who create groups get paid for it and everyone who actually helps people. I’m sorry but this feels like a slap in the face. I wish you luck in whatever it is you’re trying to achieve, sort of. There is a lack of transparency with categories being locked. It’s as big of a mess as my review because the lack of transparency in the app doesn’t allow me to properly rate Wisdo unless I pay. Clearly I won’t be doing that and will search for better alternatives. They are out there.

This made me want to kms even more. Okay so I downloaded this app a few days ago. At first it was pretty good. Someone added me to a group chat and I talked to people until like 2 in the morning. But then as the days went on i realized that the group chat was getting out of hand and that everybody was ignoring me. I met a girl on there who was acting totally strange and kind of freaking me out and yesterday was basically what made this trash. I posted a message in each group that I related too. First off some people were talking to me and then once they said I could pm them I said one sentence to them then they would say something back and I would respond and then just noting back at all. And then once I posted in the other groups people would just ignore me I completely. I’m gonna keep the app just in case I do really need it but I doubt I will

Help shouldn’t Cost. I would love to give this app 5 stars but I can’t. There shouldn’t ever be a reason you should have to subscribe or make payments for these services. I understand that it costs money and time and effort and all that Jazz to make apps. However, this is free, unsolicited advice from everyday people. Not professionals. There may be some spread throughout the app but this is the generalized public. This is to get help in a way that is supposed to be more comfortable for people. Statistically speaking, people who live in the “middle class” and lower have higher rates of mental illness and higher rates of suicide. The lower you go in poverty level, the higher and higher suicide rates climb and the higher percentage of mental illness. I’m more than willing to bet that a fairly decent amount of people, probably 80% minimum struggle financially and are just trying to get help in one of the only ways they can afford to. I would highly HIGHLY suggest revisiting this option. I know that I can’t afford that extra money right now as every penny counts. Those who read this review it is a great app. Take advantage of the free trial. It’s worth it. But I would suggest writing low star reviews and hopefully the people who made this app will reconsider their fees.

Great concept, not very well executed. I love the idea of this app, and I have encountered many genuinely kind and wonderful people on it. That being said: this app is not user-friendly; when I click ‘view more replies’ I constantly receive a message with a red bar that says ‘something is wrong’. Additionally, notifications can be slow to appear, and the chat rooms are difficult to keep up with. Part of this results from the largest groups being ridiculously large, but also: when you click to read the chat history, you often can’t find the newest notification that showed up in the preview screen. The timeline ‘trending’ feature also constantly shows the same posts/doesn’t refresh correctly. Please fix the numerous bugs in this app. Lastly: many people try to use this app as a dating site. It’s incredibly irritating, and could potentially be harmful to those seeking help when feeling especially vulnerable. The block feature is a helpful way to get rid of creeps, but it’s disappointing that this is an issue to begin with.

Overall good. This app is great if you want to talk to people you can relate to, and there are people you can vent to. This is NOT a replacement for therapy though, so if you are looking for actual advice and diagnosis this is not it. On this app you get to choose from different categories of something you are personally going through and can relate and talk about it to people. Some may have some advice for you but they are not professionals, some of their advice can help though if you are going through a hard time and don’t have access to a therapist. There are a few people who go on there for no reason but for the most part everyone i have encountered are actually there to talk about problems and thoughts.

CHANGED MY LIFE. If you are feeling alone, if you are in pain, if you need a loving heart... Wisdo is your community. Wisdo is love, family, listening, and everything community means. By creating connections, whether they are one time interactions or life long friends, whether they are exactly like you or someone you never thought you would get to know, Wisdo creates strength. A platform for the messy, uncomfortable, and embarrassing, this place is full of people radiating positivity just waiting to lift you up. Even when the person you are connecting with can't provide an perfect answer or say the perfect thing, Wisdo is always, always, always a safe place to just listen and accept with open arms. Because of this place, I went from being depressed and lost to feeling completely supported and knowing I want to help others through counseling, just like the counseling I got here. You deserve all of the support and community that Wisdo gives freely to you. Join in the conversation! We can't wait to meet you ♥️

Did more harm than good. At first I saw this app as an amazing idea, but some of the groups are so big, that when some people post they completely get ignored. Every single thing I posted was ignored. It just caused me more anxiety because I was already anxious enough about posting it and then literally no one would reply. Some of the guides don’t really seem to care about everyone and only pick specific people to interact with. I also believe that letting people who have been through things help others who are dealing with the same thing is a great idea, however, putting thousands of people together that are all currently dealing with anxiety or depression while they’re trying to help each other isn’t that great. It’s like the blind leading the blind. That’s probably why there are programs that pair someone with someone who has dealt with it or understands and can give advice, rather than someone currently dealing with it. Great idea but not executed properly. This app just caused me more anxiety due to the fact that no one ever replied to me.

No one can use other app to comment with other. When I was on this app I was going to put stop the usual and then I told him that I have a Snapchat never others because of my disability like high functioning autism but they make a law where if you violate you can’t do it out of whatever it is of the state so I do not like the app because people should have the right to Able to like tell them and I have apps so they can communicate with her because somebody will don’t have a problem but no they don’t allow that so if you go on this app please do not try to start this will not help you with people that have problems with you now if you need to talk so please do not recommend this app please so if you want to do this app you my guest this app is just not for you if you wanna buy ours find apps that will help you with if you need to talk to them because this app will not let them so please

Excellent service/hard to navigate.. The service itself is great. The UI is a little backwards and would benefit from some sort of navigation tools. I got out of the buddy questionnaire and can’t find how to get back into it just because I happened to get a message when I was in the middle of it and wanted to put that process on hold while I checked the message. :P To the UI devs: please don’t make buttons conditionally (dis)appear. Have some sort of sidebar, or something. The app is -kind- of hard to navigate. The delineation between groups and subgroups deserves a tutorial and the 200 member limit is silly, even if it makes sense for computational reasons. To have the main group be 35,000 people but limit subgroups to 200, it curtails that functionality to the point where it’s useless. What if 200 people are on there but half the accounts go inactive? Now nobody else can use those subgroups. I’m bellyaching a lot about this but it’s tragic to see someone’s post that you can connect with but oh, sorry, this subgroup is full. :P defeats the purpose of the app. I’m whining but it really is very annoying UI-wise. Other than that, it is quite a nice environment. People are supportive and give real advice from a very candid place on a variety of topics, and it’s a positive experience overall.

This app is AMAZING but needs a few minor improvements.. I love how helping everyone is on this app. It’s all about supporting each other. Such a wonderful community. Many groups to choose from. You’ll easily connect with people and get to vent. Great for depression and anxiety. I will say the app tends to lag. It doesn’t show messages right away even though someone had already sent the message. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes to load or I’ll need to close and reopen the app. Also sometimes when I type a message it glitches and moves the previous texts up instead of being on what was just previously sent. Also I seem to have a issue with how much text you can type to someone as well. Sometimes the message doesn’t load fully and it gets cut off. Otherwise the app is amazing. A few fixes and it’s GOLDEN.

Great support system!. I don’t normally rate apps but I was so happy with this one I just had to! You choose the category you want to be involved in and then it brings you to kind of a chat room to talk to people dealing with similar situations as you. ITS AN AMAZING SUPPORT SYSTEM. I’ve only had it for a few hours and everyone is immediately so welcoming and supportive, everyone is trying to help everyone. I think it’s amazing how you can help people with situations you’ve already dealt with and give them you’re advice and then if you’re going through something you can ask for advice and they can share what they’ve learned. So great and such a positive distraction for when you need to get out of your head.

Probably the best app ever to come out.. I saw Wisdo on tv and when I heard what it was all about, I wasted no time downloading it. I feel that having such venue for ppl to go and get support and advice from ppl that either have been there or going through the same process as they are now, is fantastic. You are not floundering on your own when you go on the app. You have Guides that are there to share their experiences and to help monitor the flow of chat rooms per se. Since being on Wisdo, I cannot stop helping others. You don’t have to be in a similar situation to help someone. Any kind of positive feedback given can sometimes help someone from hurting themselves. It’s the reality of things. I fully support this forum and will as long as it’s is around. I give the app the big 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 and ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!

Some users think this is a dating/role play app.. I like the premise of this app. A social network, designed to help those in a potential mental crisis. However, I had the app for less than 30 minutes before I got messages from men, making me very uncomfortable. The first message was from a random gentleman telling me he preferred to be called “Sir”. I got another right after from another gentleman, talking to me like this was a dating app, asking intrusive questions. I’m putting myself out there right now, but, my primary selections was Anxiety and Loneliness. The gentlemen that contacted me had the same selections I had. Again, I like the premise. But, there are some users that aren’t using it for its intended purpose.

Problem. Rating it one because I have a major problem with the age requirement. I am under 17 but truly need this app for support, it helps me a lot. Me and my friend have already have been kicked off and we aren’t happy. We aren’t some children trolling others with mental illnesses WE ARE ONE OF THEM. I don’t think they should think that only 17+ can have the app for support, that’s bull. It would be nice if there was no age restriction, just keeping an eye on what people say to make sure they aren’t 10 year old trolls. I’m really upset because this app has helped me and my friend, that’s how we connected, and we are helping each other with our problems. I listen to him, he listens to me. If we can’t even be on the app, we’ll, we just straight up won’t use it, and our mental illnesses will get worse. Thanks a lot Wisdo. -under 17 year old ranter

Good idea, poorly executed. The idea behind the app is wonderful, but from my experience, the communities are more like echo chambers with the occasional troll. In the depression community for example, there are dozens of people talking about serious problems, and people are doing the equivalent of one-upping them instead of giving actual advice. When someone talks about the want to self-harm, someone mentions just how much they’ve cut themselves. And so far, the advice I have seen is along the lines of, “it’ll get better! I promise!”. The trolls are a big problem too, because as people are dealing with someone making jokes about suicide and school shootings, there’s someone else in the background talking about the desire to take their own life, and not getting any response. I feel as though these groups, (or at least depression), do more harm than good

Why pay to join more than one group. I used to have this app and I ended up getting a new phone long story short I used to be able to join multiple groups without having to pay to join more than one but now when I redownload the app I have to pay to join just two groups which is crazy why should I have to pay for what was advertised as free help for people to openly talk. Some people can’t afford therapy which I thought this app was for to get help with issues for free but having to pay for it I might as well start going to therapy and paying for that....update therapy can also be free like this app used to be I go to therapy for free because I was in the service but I can’t always make it to the hospital to talk to someone which is why I downloaded this app but after seeing it’s no longer free and you can only join like one group it seems pointless

Amazing community!. I was looking for an online support group-type thing and am so thankful to have found Wisdo. I have met some amazing people who I can relate to and there are so many different groups. Everyone is so nice and supportive. Wisdo is a place where you can find others who share your struggles and find people to talk to, and share tips and tricks to help each other out! 100% recommended this for everyone - there is a group for everyone here! Like the format, too, it just takes a minute to get used to it. The helpers and guides are so nice and are always there for you!

A place that truly does help. I don’t write reviews, it’s just not my thing. But I find it very to open up and talk about my prblms and how they have affected me throughout my life. This app, has people who are loving and caring and been through similar and worse things in life than I have and they lift you up and listen and help you day in and day out. I personally always feel like a burden to the people in my life and therefore never properly express how I feel when I’m at my low. There is always, and I mean always someone here to help you, listen to you and be there with you every step of that. More so, it’s free! This community and it’s people are beautiful and I’ve never been more thankful to have given it a try and still be apart of it. Trust me, if you need someone. We’re here.

Skeptic to believer. I was skeptical at first about how this app could really help me with some of the issues I go through, but only have this service for about a month has convinced me that I was missing out. A lot of people, including myself, can feel scared or ashamed to express how they are really feeling and think they are the only ones, but I have found myself looking forward to sharing my experiences on this app because just even the fact that I have an outlet helps. And on top of that, the community of users and guides is so supportive unlike much of internet users nowadays where there's a troll on every post. This is definitely worth the download and lives up to the saying that some of the best things in life are free. Thank you Wisdo!

App shows promise, but the people cause issues. I joined the Coping with Depression group to meet and bond with likeminded people, but a lot of the things they post are just horribly depressing. I haven’t been in this group for even ten minutes and I’m in such a horrible mood from seeing all these people stoke each other’s depression and continue to feed each other statements about how hopeless life is, how everyone goes away in the end, how some people just aren’t meant to live. I came to this Coping with Depression group to actually deal with my depression and try to get better, not become more disheartened and disillusioned than I already am. The guides and helpers make an effort to be uplifting, but all anyone else does is mope about and spew toxic depressive rants. It’s just heartbreaking and so awful on so many levels...

LOVE IT. This is my first time writing a review for an app and honestly I'm more than happy to. EVERYONE is so kind, helpful and genuine. There's not one comment that I've ever seen that's rude or inconsiderate. I love the family/community type feel that this app has and I think it's very useful for anyone going through ANYTHING that they may find difficult in life. There's thousands and thousands of people to relate to and that are willing to listen. You will never feel alone on here, the guides are amazing too. The concept of this app is really changing the game of social media

Great outlet to. This is a great app to download. I’ve been on Wisdo for over a year and it’s nice to know that you are not alone in the problems you are going through. I’ve come across some great people on the app who have helped me or listened to me when I was going through some big problems in my life. I feel more comfortable talking to a stranger about my problems than I do with those that I’m around each day. The guides in general are so supportive and are always there to hype someone up or help. The helpers have been very supportive as well. To say the least momma has been as straight as they come. She genuinely cares for the users and is doing a great job with the app.

Used to love this app. I used to be an avid user of this app. I made a lot of connections and some good friends whom I still talk to today. I deleted this app probably over a year ago because I started feeling negative and didn’t want to spread negativity in a good community of people. Well, I just thought about how I could use it back in my life again. After re-downloading it, they’re now asking for $40 a year to do anything in the app. One of my friends (whom I met on this app) did the same thing but re-downloaded it about a month ago. She says she has no problems using anything in the app and she is not paying. Not sure what happened or what’s going on here but I’d much rather spend $40 a year to use a very knowledgeable physical trainer app than on this. Too bad, another good app gone greedy.

A really good experience for advice, and meeting new people with things in common. I think this app should have some more recognition. It’s such a wonderful experience. Whether your depressed, got bad anxiety, or even want relationship advice, this app is very useful. As someone who has a lot in common with many of the categories for groups, it’s great to help out others, meet new people with similar things in common, seek advice, and give a proper explanation from others who are in the same shoes. This isn’t a dating app, this an app to help others, and vent your situations, and thoughts on this thing called life. Kudos to the creators for making an app that’s extremely useful, and a great resource for help. 5/5

pyramid scheme. NOT FREE. MISC. RANDOM CHARGES. EXPENSIVE. You get ignored after week charged $45. After a week, the guides and supervisors won’t even read you messages. You see their activity and they only talk to new people. They make everyone peers right away so people with serious mental Illness are talking to the like, unsupervised, being ignored by the professionals. It costs $45, and they don’t tell you and a lot of people are left with a negative balance. They also charged me .98 for nothing. Never told me. Didn’t even know until I reported this app to App Store. After the first and second week, you will be ignored. It is slave labor, that we pay for. If you don’t pay, you lose your entire support system bc you can’t give out personal info. For this reason, people post they are more symptomatic. Then, their comments disappear. They create an illusion of community, but it is just a bunch of people in need of help who are being ignored and neglected, and becoming more symptomatic. The positive reviews are likely from NEW subscribers.

Great app!. This app is pretty great to find persons close to you with your same issues and they really showed you interest in helps you but, everyone here has to know that a simple app not is the nice escape to all out issues or problems. However the app is pretty nice to try to find a nice help, everyone here looks nice persons but we’ve got to be pending in the things that we will share here cuz we doesn’t know the day per day of those persons or their intentions so be careful with that. But if you want share your problems or just find someone to can chat a while this app is pretty great for that, really recommended... Since my iPhone 8 Plus.

App went to trash after they added the subscription. It won’t let me get past the “my journey” part. I click on what I’ve been through or am going through and I am unable to proceed to the next step because it keeps saying “something went wrong”. I’ve had this problem before which resulted in me having to delete the app because I couldn’t use it. Several years ago, before they added the subscription, I thought the app was great. I ended up being kicked out of it though, because I wasn’t 17 at the time, which is the minimum age required to use the app. After I turned 17 I downloaded the app again, realized the app was trash and deleted it because of how bad it was. People always feel like they have to add a price to things now, and they end up ruining their product. The app was better at first. I wouldn’t waste your time, effort, or money on this app if I were you!!!

almost perfect!. 2 critiques and 1 tip 1.Teensy glitches where not all of a text bubble will appear at once. sometimes it's jut missing the last couple of words or so. weird little glitch 2.maybe consider adding a block feature? there's been maybe one or two people where what they say is alittle triggering for me personally or they're treating the app like a dating site. I don't want to go and report them for this little stuff but blocking them for just me would be a great alternative. Otherwise, I love love love this app! it's so full of supportive people with genuine intentions and actual advice. It covers a very wide range of topics, some very heavy. I hope it stays this active and positive.

Amazing !!!. I’ve installed this app probably about a month or two ago. But it wasn’t until today I decided it was a good time to try it. I have been dealing with a lot of tough situations lately. But today I woke up feeling down and later it only progress to feeling overwhelming and immensely angry. This is a great app to help with people who just need a listening ear. I can definitely say I feel so much better knowing there is a community dedicated to helping people like myself and all walks of life. One thing I can say is I felt safe enough to express myself. And that is not a norm for me. Overall great app!!

Stay away from this app they lie and take your information. They claim they don’t take your information but they do in order to keep people who they don’t agree with from the app if you don’t believe me read other reviews from past times. They are hypocrites who say they believe in the best interests of the people but yet don’t give freedom of speech. Apparently in Israel where this company CEO states his app is from has a different definition of carrying for the people. Because this problem has been brought to his attention several times and the company refuses to fix the problem of guides instead they just let them do as they like. Later on this app will in fact fail because they don’t listen to the people. Apps always pop up this won’t be the first or last.

Wonderful App. I first downloaded Wisdo a few months ago on a whim seeking support from others in similar situations. Now, I am honored to have become a guide, helping to guide conversation and keep Wisdo a safe place. Wisdo was created and is run with love and nothing but good intentions for the people who use it, and it shows. It is a place for anyone who needs someone to be a friend or who has ever needed someone to listen and support them. Wisdo is a place where you can seek advice and support from someone who has “been there,” wherever “there” is and where you can share your own insights, joys, and triumphs. The app is divided into “experiences” such as coping with depression, eating disorders, lgbt+, college, chronic pain, cancer, going vegan, learning mindfulness, coping with loss, and so so many more. Plus, new experiences are always being added! I highly recommend this app.

Get this 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. By first opening the app there are specific types of problems (mental or physical) to talk about in group chats. You can add more specific types of chats and people can join. There are ‘guides’ who monitor the conversation, keep it going and will talk to you with others in the chat and even direct message you if you don’t want all people to see. Even though the live chats are about specific things you can chat a guide or any person in general that’s willing to talk about any situation you might have. Under another tab there are various subjects such as depression, MS, anorexia, child birth and even more mainstream things such as graduating from college, loosing a job, divorce and breakups that give some good advice (I’m bad at explaining just check it out for yourself). These really target specific problems. I suggest everyone get this app. The only thing I don’t like is the Pinterest looking theme under the specific tabs and I also wish they could tell you what the specific thing is about Incase you just want to learn about it (but I guess part of the app is defining that for yourself per your own experience) Overall great. (:

I wanted it to be good. Honestly it seemed like it was going to be a great app but there are so many things. Like a subscription??? You can’t do anything without paying. Make it a payed app. Don’t give ppl false hope. Also it’s 17+ or you’re kicked off. These people don’t seem to realize that a huge age group that also needs support is 14-16. These kids don’t have money to spend every single month. It’s mostly the fact that all you can do is sign in and that’s it. There’s no other things that can be done without paying. Can’t even make a post or chat. Go anywhere else. This is not helpful. If you need money so bad make it payed. One time payment or something. Give us more to go off. Give us ads and let us pay to remove it. I don’t know. Don’t waste people’s time that are desperate for some sort of comfort or advice. Giving people false hope makes you the worst kind of person :/

Love this App. This app is amazing I’ve been using this app for a year and it is a really great way to be able to connect with people who have psychological issues such as anxiety, PTSD, etc.. I started using this app when i was in a really dark place and it provided much needed comfort. I joined several different chats in this app some for anxiety some for depression and reading other peoples stories and seeing how they weren’t ostracized or made to feel like a weirdo, made me feel safe. I started posting things that i had been going through and how i felt and people responded kindly with words of encouragement, tips on how to overcome my situations, and by offering a shoulder to lean on. This app created a community for people who suffer from any number of psychological issues to be able to connect with similar people.

Strong Bias amongst Users. I was curious to as the wisdo buddy system worked after my first assigned buddy had left me on read. (No way to even get a new buddy if they never respond) After some testing by my friends & I. With 8 accounts in total, we found that wisdo buddies are more likely to ignore/leave you on read if you’re a guy. However if your profile picture and profile is set to female, 8/10 they will answer you constantly. The user interface of the app itself is okay for the most part, but not that user friendly. A few tweaks to how things appear on screen. As well as a few things implemented such as making sure the “wisdo buddies” aren’t only going to help girls they think are attractive. As well as pretty content monitoring, a lot of groups are filled with people describing the way they want to take their own life. Which as anyone knows, is most likely going to trigger someone with the mental health issues or struggles they would be on the app for in the first place. ~Echo

It was good at first 😬. At first, this app really helped me out. But then I noticed as I went along that some of the guides would ignore people or disregard their situations. It’s like they are robots, they all seem to say the same thing. I haven’t met a genuine guide yet. Like for example, I had a situation going on with me and I reached out for help, and a guide kept questioning me like I was a suspect. The questions didn’t even have anything to do with what I was telling her. I’ve also tried to reach out to the community manager and she ignored me. :/ It was a really good app at first but none of these guides are professionals even tho it seems like they try to be. They don’t even know how to talk to people correctly. You’re better off talking to another user, who isn’t a guide. Also, there’s a glitch where sometimes people don’t even see your messages or what not. This app needs a lot of work but it’s okay I guess. UPDATE: ‼️ DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP ‼️ Once, you sign up. They know all your info (even your phone number) I’m honestly creeped tf out rn ‼️

Good but needs improvement. I like this app, it’s very useful for chatting with like minded people however I dislike how you cannot delete comments/posts once you have posted them. It’s especially annoying if you accidentally write the wrong thing and want to edit it or delete it and write it again, you can’t.

Most communities require payment. Don’t join unless you have $10 a month to spend on a forum app. There are very few communities that are free and hardly anyone in them.

Tips. Welcoming friendly app, more helpful if it had a delete content/ posts option available

kinda bad :(. the helpers are not very good and responding promptly which isn’t great. the people in the groups are often very clicky and don’t like new members. i also had one ‘helper’ call me overweight :(

I’m sure it’s good but I don’t have money. I don’t have money to pay for an app and I get it’s because I’m a kid and you have to be 17 but I don’t have anyone to talk to they need to make one for kids

Amazing. Such a fantastic initiative, I’m amazed that something like this wasn’t developed sooner. The app is easy to use and navigate and the diversity of each community is something that really resonated with me and makes me feel safe and cared for. I’m overwhelmed by the support, compassion and care from its members and guides. I couldn’t recommend this enough to people who feel like they’re all alone in the world - this WILL change your mind about that. Absolutely amazing.

Wohoo. Better than tinder 4/5

Wow. I haven’t even used the app yet I’ve been looking at the ratings and whenever there’s a low rating the team who made this app helped!!!!! Well done I will do another review once it’s downloaded :)

Why?. It ALWAYS says that the server is “temporarily unavailable” when I try to sign up.

Terrible. You have to pay a 50 dollar membership to be able to express yourself and your story! Plus if you are under 17 you can’t sign up even though teenagers are the most likely people to develop depressive disorders! TERRIBLE APP DO NOT DOWNLOAD ITS A TOTAL RIP OFF

Useless, if not dangerous. This platform is going to ruin people’s lives as there are endless number of idiots out there who think of themselves as counsellors and are giving uninformed, ignorant, and unsolicited advice. There’s little psychological benefit from interacting with people whose experiences, personalities, backgrounds, etc. are different from one another, especially that most of them are not experts. Moreover, the anonymity of interacting with “digital” people that you have never and will potentially never meet makes the whole thing feel impersonal and shallow. This is a dangerous forum.

Great!. Way to give advice aswell as receive advice. Some stories are freakishly similar to yours. People on here are so welcoming and helpful, no judgement.

This app is amazing. It’s an great app honestly. So many people going through things you are. I myself find it difficult to talk about things but when it’s with people with common issues it is easier. I rate it 5/5. I have been recommended it to people to use.

Scam! Do not download!. If you download it they will make you pay a fee! Do not download total SCAM targeted and DESPERATE, LONELY people to take ALL their money!

An Awesome app with a Capital A. From the time I joined Wisdo, 3 months ago. I had no idea, what to expect. But since I have been helping people and receiving help from people. I have watched Wisdo grow into an amazing community of likeminded people. So come along and join a very helpful community. You will be able to share your story in a safe supportive environment.

Supportive. Great app to use and to solve issues with problems who are dealing the same stuff. This app is to share their experiences and to ask help from other people for advice.

Too many people in group chats. Good idea but really hard to keep track of group chats, there are so many messages unread by the time I can look at it, no point in me even trying to join the conversation

I love this app. I think this is a great place it’s a good place for discussing issues with people with similar problems who have been there and people who can help others as well it’s a great safe place to help one another

Great community!. What a fantastic idea! So supportive and wonderful people! I’d love it if the app could be made for access on computers/macs!

Why. I tried to get the app but you have to be under 17 witch is dumb because some people like me are going through ruff times so these things are good for us

Disappointing. I downloaded Wisdo over 5 years ago. I’m very unhappy to jump back on, looking for a chat room to just vent away! Then to find it is no longer a free platform, now you have to pay over $100 a year to be in more than a few chat rooms? This app got me out of my darkest moments by being able to connect with people I didn’t know, who were dealing with the same things. Being able to nearly stay totally anonymous, no shame or anything attached. I’m am very very unhappy to see there are now additional costs. What a joke and what a terrible thing to do? Free services are becoming more and more scarce. Such a joke. Not the best for those unemployed and “too old” to seek free mental health services.

Make it as clear as possible that wisdo don’t have qualified people on there to give advice. I see how talking to people who have or are in a similar situation can help people but it can be dangerous giving people wrong advice because they aren’t professionals. They may have helpful advice but still they could be wrong with that advice but yet again I see that owner should make it very clear that the people on there aren’t professionals and have it say by using this app you hereby acknowledge that the advice you get on here could be dangerous or something like that but yeah make it clear please so I’m giving this app a two stars for now

Amazing. One of the best apps I have found in a long time, heard of it through a Snapchat ad and accidentally clicked on the link but then started reading reviews and saw what it was about and thought I’d try it and now I love it !!

What happened. I couldn’t even sign up...so one star. Was looking forward to using this app too.

Well. Wisdo popped up as a add on another application, I decided to give it a try but all it does it clump you into a huge group and you can’t even track where your post goes.

Extraordinary. I thought I was all alone and my life was going to be horrible forever. Until I was on YouTube and found an advertisement for this app called Wisdo. I downloaded to check it out and met some incredible people who were going through the same issues as me and helped me get out of horrible situations. Honestly this app is amazing for advice and help.

Incredible App. This app is truly amazing it has helped me tremendously. Anyone who’s going through tough and painful times whatever it may be addiction, sadness, anxiety, depression, bullying and so much more please check this app out you won’t be dissatisfied or disappointed at all. You’ll come across people who are going through similar situations and will be support without any judgement. It’s truly an INCREDIBLE app one i haven’t regretted downloading it isn’t a waste of anyone’s time. I give this app a high recommendation because I’ve used it for a while now! Bless all human beings 💖

Doesn’t even work I hope it’s not a scam. Doesn’t work can’t access anything at all after they took my phone number

One of the most useful apps I’ve downloaded. Been using it for a few hours now, after thoroughly exploring it, I can say this app could be one of the most useful ones on my phone. If you’re looking for somewhere to obtain non-professional advice and peer support, look no further! This is the app for you!

Under 17 not allowed 😢. It sounds like a great app and I’m sure it is but I’m 14 and I would love that talk to other kids going through the same as me and there aren’t many apps like this so I’m just left out you guys could at least have a kids section. Anyway that’s why I’m giving it a 1 star review

Feedback. It would be good if the app could have a dating option so people with similar experiences can get to know each other. And it would be good if there was a live chat option.

Ruby. I don’t like this app bc I’m under 17 so I can’t use it but I have anxiety, stress and depression so this app is stupid and can’t help me.

Home. Wisdo allows you to speak with everyday people who are going through the same struggles you are. I’ve been able to help many people and many people have been able to help me, not because I’m special, but because we all understand eachother. I truly appreciate this app and the community and how much it’s changed my life ❤️

Unknown. I asked for help and I got kicked off the web site for being under age the app is for people to not feel so alone now that I have no one to talk to

Very Helpful. This app is very helpful, i love it. I no longer bottle up my emotions. You can speak to anyone and they are always so nice and so helpful. Thank you Wisdo

Dissapointed. Just gained popularity and they started charging everyone, so sad you wanna take advantage of people when they’re going through a hard time.

Great initiative. Great resource for people needing help with mental health issues

Scam. It used to be a free app but Wisdo got greedy and decided to charge everyone money so i quit the app. I have depression and wish there was a free app to talk about my depression. This app is nothing but wanting to take your money. Highly not recommended for those who are broke and need to connect with people for free. You might as well stick to Facebook, twitter and instagram and talk to people on there cuz it’s free

The ban system??. So i was lead helper (so i grinded hard), had a bad day and say a bad comment on someone and got insta ban when the other users did the same thing, i think we need more explication before getting ban. It’s like all the good thing that you did for the community is nothing for them.

It’s not great. That’s stupid. There’s not only 17+ who needs to talk.

No. Go get payed advice .. I was friends with a few guides and it really was a terrible experience ! Needs more professionalism

TEENS need help. You have to be over 17 to use the app although if found that teens are the ones who need the most help we can’t lie like we need help sometimes and our parents sometimes don’t wanna help us or we need someone who can actually relate to us instead of a counsellor who talks to you like your a baby please lower the age to maybe 13+ and please make this free I was excited to meet people to relate to but now I feel even more alone having to pay and lie about my age to get help

Great. Great app for dealing with your demons!!

Amazing Concept, Needs Some Work. I’ve been using this app for a couple of days now and I think its an incredible concept, being able to connect with people who have shared similar experiences, for me I was drawn to this app to talk to fellow individuals struggling with mental illness to hopefully help and receive help. I personally think that the Wisdo team should work on advertising and spreading the word about their mission, I downloaded Wisdo after weeks of seeing their ad on Instagram (the video where some team members are in a car) it’s a very rushed explanation of the app and it did spark interest in me but not enough to make me immediately download the app after seeing the ad. I think this app really just needs a larger user-base, one that is more active on a daily basis. Wisdo should work on implementing a better notification system to engage users to be active, maybe some sort of reward system as well to create initiative for one to go on. Wisdo is a fairly new app and it needs a lot of work but the concept is 100% and I have faith that the Wisdo team will pull through, I really think this app has the power to become the next big social media platform.

Ye. This app really has helped me so much

My favourite social media app. The users are friendly looking for help and willing to help others. I've tried 5 different help apps this is by far the best. It's neatly split into categories depending on what support you need. If your active and helpful in the community you get a badge upgrade becoming a helper. I've used this app so much I was one of the helpers selected to become a guide. As a guide make sure everyone is following the rules, make sure users are safe and am part of community that treats me like family. This app has helped me through a lot and everyone can benefit using this app whether your feeling anxious or upset there's always someone there to help you! Wish you all the best<3

Helpful. Great concept, it helped me a lot to see how many people can relate to the things I’m struggling with. We’re all human and sometimes we forget how kind we can be for each other. This app is a great way of uniting people and getting advices from strangers who are or have dealed with similar obstacles ❤️

Amazing. Wisdo is an amazing 😊 I have been a member since May 2018.. I have met so many new friends that care and can relate on so many levels Wisdo has made my world not so lonely❤️

Used to be better.. Two years ago this app was great. Now you get notifications for everyone that joins a new group or welcome posts take up majority of the threads. It is so excessive and unnecessary. I am so disappointed because I used to spend so much time on this app but now it’s just pointless notification after notification.

I love the concept but its needs a rework. The concept is great and the all works well but I think its very difficult to use the app because you have to post in a conversation and from there it shows up on a timeline which doesnt make any sense, posts get lost and its really hard to navigate. Its should just be like a regular social media where you post on the timeline directly.

Lack of help😔. In my opinion wisdo isn’t all that great. I feel like everything is fake it is not trustworthy. And their banned system is terrible I got falsely banned for ”trolling” when I did nothing wrong. I prefer you guys to just talk on a hotline than this app

Disappointed. This is a good app, it really can help people, I usually download this app when I need to talk to someone about a problem I have nobody to go to, sadly this is no longer an app I can do that on, I don’t know what changed but this app is no longer free and now so many people are probably out of a helpful app that they really relied on because now there is a price to get help. This doesn’t effect me to much personally, but an app like this that is meant to help people that was free and actually helping people suddenly having a price, that’s drastic change and goes completely against what you are trying to do. I’m sorry I don’t have to be a Karen and write a bad review on a app cuz they changed something but this app was a place that many people needed.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I’ve just discovered that this is no longer a free app. You are now requiring those using the app to pay a membership fee. I personally see this as a huge barrier, for MANY reasons. Money being the obvious one. Mental health resources are hard enough to access. This was an extremely beneficial coping tool for me at times, however none of these chat forums included any professional medical support. This is merely a like-minded community of people supporting each other, and seeking support for themselves. Why on EARTH would I be expected to pay a membership fee to speak to like-minded individuals who are VOLUNTARILY seeking support from non-professionals and/or to speak to people who are there CHOOSING to help others? I refuse to pay for this service that I have been accessing free of charge for months. And I am extremely disappointed that I am no longer able to access this support. Speaking over the phone is not ideal for me (due to anxiety) so crisis phone lines can CAUSE barriers for myself and many others. This was one place that I felt comfortable and confident turning to because I viewed it as barrier-free. It was a place I could come to feel understood, validated and connected ...until now. I have limited access to free resources in my community ..where else do I go for free 24/7 online chat forums now that your service has become yet another inaccessible service?

Exceeded my expectations. I found Wisdo at the right place and the right time. I met great people who have shared their experiences with me. Wisdo is a very safe space filled with great people — it’s exactly right where you want to be. 12/10 would recommend.

Great idea who’s time has come. This is a wonderful service and I will be very happy to be a part of it

Potentially Decent.. I was excited to give this app a try; however, after trying it out, I have noticed that there are a lot of services within the app that are blocked and require a fee. This review is based solely on the fact that they call this a “free” app, but the free version isn’t worth using. Therefor, I have rated this app 1 star due to the fact that the creators thought that it would be effective to promote the app and block the user from continuing without paying. Make the app “pay to download.”

ridiculous. why the hell do i have to pay for this? these is real people not professional doctors.. i spent 5 minutes putting in all this information and reasons why i want to use the app and then once i finish i cant even start the 7 day trial without having to give you my payment information. i am not paying to talk to strangers for advice and i’m very frustrated i wasted that time only to find out i have to pay. don’t bother getting this app if you don’t want to pay for it because you can’t even do the trial without having to give payment information. thanks a lot for the help and support!!!!!!! not.

Bruh. Everytime I go to sign up, it tells me something went wrong and kicks me out.

Wish there was more space for people. Overall love the idea but my problem was all the groups I would of liked to be in where all full

... Fake people

Need to chat?!. Wisdo is an excellent app that allows users to receive help from others who have been there. Mentoring sessions are great! Definitely worth the subscription!

Sad .... It’s sad that you have to pay to talk to others people suffering out there. What if you don’t have the money but NEED someone to talk to? Not cool

This app is great. Theres so many people so someone always replies fast. theres always help and support. people who have similar problems can help or tell you how they fixed it. Its made for a wide variety of people and helps you a lot. definitely recomend

No help. I would have rated this app but the manager forced me to delete this app bc I was having a meltdown and tried to go on it to seek help but she’s saying what I did was unacceptable. Don’t recommend this app for the sake of your well-being! There’s also trolls on there and get away with it

Nat. I love this app.. such a supportive community.. ❤️ thank you to the creators perfect for sharing stories, what a positive tool for people to seek advise help and support

wisdo. love the app, but the age requirement should be lowered to at least 14. people start to struggle with mental illness and challenges in their teenage years the most. there could be chatrooms for different age groups, etc. because i have seen people reveal their age while asking for help and they have been kicked off the app. no one should be removed for seeking help.

YOU CAN TELL THEM ANYTHING. You can tell them anything like if you are getting bullied by someone!!!!

Injustice. The app is a really good concept. Unfortunately I can’t rate higher than 2 stars because the supervisor of the app is questionable. She banned me from the app because she doesn’t like the truth of what depression is and isn’t.

Very impressed. I really enjoy this application because you can get help/advice from others that can relate and/or you can give advice if you choose to. I find it very helpful to be able to talk to others that are in similar situations because it helps to know I’m not alone. This app has helped me get through many nights that I didn’t think I would get through.

Can’t even sign up.. I am 32 and I got a prompt as soon as I opened it telling me I couldn’t continue as I was not 17 yet. While I wish every day to be a young chicken again, I am not. I couldn’t even make an account.

TRASH. Don’t download this app, you have to pay. You guys are TRASH very TRASH, I need to pay to seek for help? Pathetic

Young Lives Matter. Have you heard of Amanda Todd? No? Shocker because her story went crazy through out the world! She was bullied badly enough to take her life at FIFTEEN years old. You have your age set to SEVENTEEN years old which is not okay because younger people are in need of support... yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. If you haven’t read about Amanda Todd, I would look her up on YouTube and watch her video.

Guides are to controlling. I’ve posted certain things and they would get deleted for no valid reason. I’m not saying this out of anger by the way. It’s just the rules on this app are just way to strict; it’s insane.I’ve also seen other peoples posts get deleted for no reason as well. There was one person that was just venting about how depressed he was, he was just looking for support, that’s literally it, and then his post got deleted. I posted a link to a video and I asked the guide who deleted it, “What was wrong with the post? He said that there was nothing wrong with the post, it’s just that I didn’t explain what the post was about… Umm… Maybe if you watch the video then you’ll find out? Even then it’s not disturbing in anyway, it’s not violating any of Wisdo’s policies etc. If you’re going to delete a post, then please give me a valid reason that actually justifies deleting it. Don’t get me wrong, I think nearly everyone on this app are amazing caring people, but those guides are just ridiculous with the rules. On top of that, Ive been told to change my profile pic because it looks like I’m on the app to date people, and If I didn’t change my profile pic, then my account would be deleted. Huh? How would you know that I’m dating from looking at profile pic? Anyways, the guides have completely ruined my experience. This app used to be so good when it was free, even with all the trolls accounts on Wisdo. There used to be a lot of freedom on Wisdo (within reason). Then everything just went down the drain.

100% everyone against you. Use another app. The guides on here aren’t there for you. They ban you if they don’t like you.

Formerly 5 stars.... I used to use this app a lot. I was an ambassador and had other labels. I’ve met some good friends on the app. I took a break and now have come back to find out it cost money!?! Honestly, this is not a health care service because no one on it is qualified and/or acting in a professional capacity. That being said, it’s absolutely absurd that they’ve done this when this app was a safe space for lgbtq individuals. I’ve spoken to dozens of young people in the closet terrified of coming out and now they’ll have to find another safe space? Guess we know what the developers what looking to do the entire time....

growth. I grew lots from wisdo, I learn faster from people and just speaking to others about what I was going through made me feel like I wasn’t alone and I was able to heal and grow faster 🧡

How can I speak to someone without subscription?. I have gotten this app before and use to be able to speak to people but now it looks like I need a subscription... I’m wondering how I can talk while not paying! Thanks

5/5. so helpful and useful, im grateful someone thought of this idea of an app

Love it. I can finally be open up about my issues I love this app how people won’t judge u and just being there for you it’s amazing app.

You have to pay. Here you are looking for help on an app of all things and they ask you to PAY this is CRAP they are total trash do not support this BS

Suggestion. Can we get a category for people who just got out of jail? It’s hard to adjust back into society and I think this is a traumatic experience that would be beneficial for those who have been through it to talk about it.

No protection from abusers. This is the WORST APP. You can’t block people so literally anyone can stalk you. Abusers literally use this app to prey on the vulnerable and the moderators DO NOTHING. Then, they ask sick people to become helpers, like that’s useful. Avoid this app like the plague.

There should be an option to delete one’s public messages as part of the privacy option. I would like to delete a message why is that not an option on a privacy supporting place?

Not what I’m looking for. Great app, but it makes me very upset that there is not option for recovery from abuse or just abuse in general.

Amazing app, amazing people. I started using Wisdo again after a long time away from the app. I think it’s an amazing place to go if you need to get your mind off of life or have a conversation about something you’re going though. It’s also a place to share positivity, as you can connect with different people through the community for various things. The amazing thing is that you can help people who need it too! It’s a great place for both sides.

consistent problems. the concept of this app is great but the people who are populating this app are absolute garbage; that being said not only have i encountered countless problems from the app itself(constantly being logged out for no reason, bad gateway, messages NEVER showing up etc), i’ve had consistent problems with the people as well, not only the guides (who, in all honestly, are completely useless; utterly spineless, brown nosing cunts who favour certain people over others as said in previous reviews) but the non guides as well. i’ll come back to this app once it’s been purged of idiots and good-for-nothing, power hungry guides.

So helpful. This app has helped me in so many ways I highly recommend it to anyone that’s going through a rough patch in their lives right now or if you’re just looking to make some new friends it’s also amazing for that as well so many amazing people to connect with that’s going through something similar I beg of you please reach out to someone you’re not alone I promise

Love. I absolutely love Wisdo. Their are so many wonderful people!! I love that I can ask for advice from others who have gone through same experiences and I am really happy I can help others with my advice as well. I have always loved helping others so Wisdo is perfect for me 💙 Thank you for creating an app where we come come to chat with others who have been through what we or going through & chat with others who are going through what we have.

???. can’t even join a community without being forced to pay..... i would much rather prefer ads than spend money on something that isn’t even professional. i joined one community but noticed i could only join one at a time and the others were locked. so, i left that community and tried to join a different one but they all became locked. some people need these services and can’t afford them. therapy is EXPENSIVE. looking through the reviews i see everyone has the same problem as me. the only response the makers for this app give is that the community prefers the subscription over ads. this is extremely hard to believe considering everyone is complaining about it in the comments.

An actual support group. I didn’t actually think this app would help but as soon as I started talking to people that were in a similar situation/been through the same thing I instantly cheered up. It’s so easy and you don’t even have to spend the time to find an actual support group or panic about talking to people face to face. Unlike once a week counciling, you can use this app anytime you need to. Highly recommend.

They ask only certain users to pay for the app. I downloaded this and it seemed fine, until I got a screen saying I had to give up my credit card info and pay money each month in order to use the groups in the app, which basically means I can only use one feature if I don’t pay. I reached out and they told me it’s a test screen they sent to new users and that if I email them it will be fixed soon. I just don’t understand why they need a “test screen “ asking to pay them if you don’t have to. It doesn’t make any sense to me

Try a little harder. Everyone needs help especially kids who dont feel safe. If your trying your hardest try harder because 17+ is bs when children across the world are becoming depressed af and no one does anything about it. Help should not have a cost I bought this cuz I want to know I’m not alone and I’m a kid and I can’t pay for that. You’ve made yourself clear your only gonna help a half of the ppl that need your help by cutting everyone else out. Go enjoy yourself while I suffer in the life I was given. I really didn’t need any of this bs anyways.

Highly recommended. Highly recommend this app. They match you with people who’ve been through similar life events and have unlocked a “Helper” badge who are super nice and friendly. You can also go through their training program and become a Helper yourself (I did it) which changes your homepage and then you can start supporting other people. A nice touch. Bottom line, definitely worth downloading if you are looking to find or offer emotional support.

Love this app!. I never knew apps like this existed up until now and I’m so glad that I found it the people are awesome and the support is excellent! If your going through a rough patch and you feel like nobody understands or can relate I guarantee you’ll find people that are going through the same things or something similar and also people who have been there and made it through

Disguised As Free. This was a good idea. It was nice to be able to talk with other people who actually understand what you are going through because they too are going through it. But then here I am already suffering tremendously and I’m blindsided with a message that the free trial has ended and there’s a monthly paid subscription to continue using it. This wouldn’t be an issue if it was stated anywhere in the AppStore or showed that there would be in app purchases, but it doesn’t. So I finally found something that helps some and I can no longer use it as I have no money at all.

I like it, but.... I feel like this app is an amazing idea, but it’s kind of confusing to you. I feel like everybody on it is genuine, and searching, and desperately needing connection, So I’m glad that this app is here, I just wish it was easier to understand how to use it. Specifically hard to keep track of conversations and he was talking to you. A lot of the print is really hard to see, as in, light gray on white???? Some of us cannot see that. I will stick with it, but hopefully they are fixing these kinds of things.

I love Wisdo! It’s a service whose time has come. Living in this Information Age, where the human race has become so much more connected, it’s amazing how many people feel so isolated, and need a friend to talk to. Well Wisdo has used the power of crowdsourcing to bring together in a big family, a group of loving, caring people who have each gone through something’s bad and good, and Wisdo brings this knowledge, and wisdom together to be shared, in an open, non-judgemental, community where there are people to share their experience, strength, and hope with people who are hurting or lonely, and in turn, those who are helped, become helpers! I think that Wisdo is going to be a Godsend for anyone who is hurting or in need of a friend! Come check us out, and I’m sure you’ll agree, that it is truly a service whose time has come! So, come join the family! J. Michael

What’s wrong?!?!?. Don’t get me wrong this app has helped me with a lot of my issues, but I think u should have an anonymous call line to call and be able to talk to someone and there should be a audio call where u can talk to that person without giving out your personal information, also it would be helpful if some of the groups likes anxiety and depression were conjoined because in most cases they follow after each other and It would make it easier for some people to get help! Thanks

Sad that you charge to help people. I used to go on this app often to help with my stress and depression I had delete it due to a glitch on my iPhone when I updated it. When I downloaded the app again it was charging me and the fact this happened during the time of a big crisis like covid 19 when people are struggling with finances and depression it is just uncalled for. These people who help you on the app aren’t professionals they’re every day people that want to help others so why charge? This should be reported as you are taking advantage of people who are willingly wanting to help so many suffering from stress. Shame on you!

Learning to cope with anxiety. Finding this App has helped me so much to understand what I feel or how I think is ok that I am not the only one out there struggling to understand my anxiety and how it affects me in my life on a daily basis, I am learning to be stronger and happier and know that I have others out there that can relate to me and help me guidance as well . Feels amazing to be part of a great group. Looking forward to learning so much more and how to better support my self .

I was a guide. I have a degree in psychology, was going into counseling when health issues got in the way but have studied it for 15+ years. I’m no expert, but I am on being bullied and compassion. This group of guides calls people attention seekers behind their backs, the guide chat disgusted me and when I mentioned neurodiversity and how we aren’t professionals and those that NEED attention, don’t know how to say it so it comes off as “attention seeking” but this is a very damaging term in mental health. It’s advertised that the guides take care of themselves and reach it when we are overwhelmed. I did so and was called an attention seeker myself, bullied and left for having a different perspective. I’m neurodivergant, have multibile health issues and have faced so much diversity. I thought I found my tribe but I was wrong. They don’t understand Autism Spectum and delete the bully comments so other guides don’t look down on the top guide that is bullying me... and purposely trigger me out of the group with passive aggressiveness. I wasted a good 4 months on this app. Try Lettrs instead. No one will judge you for your perspectives.

Open 24 hours. The great thing is there is always someone on to talk to. I’ve met people from all over the world. If I’m awake at 3am there is somebody there. There are also mentors and coaches and lots of people to answer your question or just hear you out. There are also fun things like trivia meets and book club and a place to showcase your art. Check it out.

Great Community. Online based peer to peer groups can be dicey, ranging from being full of trolls, some that allow users to be incredibly destructive and hurtful to one another, and many full of armchair psychiatrists giving out medical advice they have neither the training nor the experience to give. Wisdo is about sharing and support and they’ve done a wonderful job cultivating a great, diverse community free from the pitfalls so many other peer groups fall into.

Disappointed. A couple years ago, I had this app. I suffered from extreme depersonalization and derealization. I was waking up and going to sleep in episodes. This app literally changed my life and honestly saved me. I got over my episodes and my life was officially back to normal. I deleted the app, and decided to download again, only to find out the chat i was in, is now locked unless you pay for it. I understand your need to make money. But real mental health care is unavailable to those who cannot afford it. By making your app cost money is potentially stopping someone from finding people like them and saving their life. I am disgusted by your choice to charge for a mental health app. Shame on you.

Necessary & Innovative!. I cannot stress the value of this app! When I first joined Wisdo, I was a bit intimidated by the chat format- it seemed like I was interrupting an ongoing conversation... until I paid attention. Eventually, I pushed myself to respond & open up! Now I understand the format, chats allow users to be heard instantaneously, this is like no other peer to peer support app! No matter what you may be dealing with, Wisdo has a place for you & is constantly expanding to accommodate more! Join in on the healing! It’s altered my world for the better. ✌🏼💜

Good intentions, needs more.. The idea of the app is great! However, once I joined I wanted to be able to look at more options before I joined a group. There’s no initial search button. I joined a group but the thread forum made me more anxious than it helped. I was also looking for a place to talk about intersectionalities I face and there are absolutely no forums that mention race/ethnicity. Mentioning intersectionality and being able to relate to people that way could be a major part of one’s identity. Also just having groups to talk to people about things like natural hair, first generation in college, or any other challenge that a POC may face is very important.

Great app so far.. A lot of apps I don’t like, but I really like this one. You can customize it really well, better than most of the depression type apps. I like that this app doesn’t have to be strictly for depression and anxiety. It could be about most life experiences like mental health, relationships, pregnancy, etc. I like that you can connect with people on here, share your experiences, and possibly make new friends. I like the support group aspect of this.

A literal joke. I admit I only spent a day on the app but that was well over enough time to see the bs that goes on in it. FILLED WITH ATTENTION WHORES! Are you lonely? Well I’d suggest finding another app to fix that. Try and open up on this app and your comment is gonna get straight ignored. On the off chance someone does respond to your comment, get ready for a fkin 10 second convo because that’s basically what you’re signing up for. I’d say this is more of a dating app than social media and it literally fails at both. The so called “helpers/guides” aren’t much of a help at all 😂 it’s just sad. Sometimes you’re labeled as “toxic” and you don’t even have to be trying to be! Tf 😭 wrap this sht up and try again fellas. Mission failed, you’ll get em next time. (Hopefully)

Wisdo: Download For Support And An Instant Chat Through The Instant Chat. Wisdo is awesome, I financially support Wisdo and generally support Wisdo. You can connect with people who get it. The subscription is worth it in my opinion. Download wisdo now if you wish you had connections with people who get it. On Wisdo you’ll find people who get it. You’re not alone and Wisdo proves you’re not alone by connecting you to people who get it.

Used to be ok. This app used to be ok. Even good. But then they went corporate and hired a bunch of terrible people who alienated a lot of the users. Don’t waste your time on this. They just want your money and they’ll find a way to get it. It’s not secure, your messages aren’t private. They tell people it is, but many users have had their private lives displayed for the world by them. They are quite scary in their behavior. Many of the people who used to use the app and made it good, left. So be very careful if you decide to continue on with it. Be VERY careful.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. First off please don’t download this app. The people that run this app or a complete joke they will kick you off of this app just by posting a status stating which state you live in but will let inappropriate postings happen without doing anything. Then when you try to speak your mind they will kick you off this app. The people that run this app are so quick to jump at the small things but don’t even pay attention to the big things that happen on this app. This app is supposed to be where you post your feelings and try to connect with other people who may experience the same thing as you I mean this app is listed as a social app but yet they stop you from being social

Great concept. Marketing to me however isn’t helping your bottom line. A family member gave me their very usable ‘old iPhone 8’ and is a great device. This app is awesome but misleading because of the limited access/permissions without a paid subscription. I understand the need for it... I was going to give 3 stars but realized that this is probably a great thing because as I get better I may have more $ one at a time is helpful so I don’t overload

I met the love of my life on this by chance. This app was recommended to me to make friends when I was in a hard time back in 2019. I met my current girlfriend & love of my life on this app after being best friends for years developed into more.. I owe it to this app and meeting her by the very chance of us both downloading it by a recommendation. Thanks! Definitely give it a go, 5 stars from me 😎

“Helper”. I guess I’m a “helper” on the app. Which I like. Suffering from multiple issues myself it’s nice to be able to talk to people who might be going through the same thing. My downfall of the app is when I connect with someone from the “instant chat” to help someone the very first message they send or I send and close out of the chat it asks me to rate it. Every time. I DO NOT like that feature. I won’t rate my talk with someone when I hadn’t even corresponded with hem yet! That doesn’t make any sense. Other than I that I really do like the app.

Not supporting this. I used to be a Wisdo member only to comeback to them completely changing it! You used to not have to pay to be a part of a community that went through or is going through the same situation as you. It was a peaceful place where a person can just pull there guts and people would be supporting you and help guide you in the right direction. Now that I came back ~ I see that suddenly you need to paaaay just to talk about what you’re going through? Just to help others? That’s a scummy way to get money. There’s people with mental illnesses out there. That probably doesn’t have anyone to talk to in there life - for many reasons and you’re like.... pay for it???

Don’t even bother. I used to love Wisdo. I thought it was a great place to connect with people who struggled in life, just as I did. I was desperate for comfort, as I was extremely depressed at the time. Once they did some snooping and found out I was 15 (turning 16) at the time, they removed me and told me I was no longer welcome to use their services. I thought about the app today, and decided to give it another go since they couldn’t kick me off this time. I signed back up and started going through all the beginning things, but was then met with a message, prompting me to pay for the services. I’m not paying to talk to other people, who are not getting paid themselves. So please, save yourself the time and energy and just avoid this app

Out of this world 🌎. Ever felt so alone and you don’t have anyone to talk to? Depressed? Anxiety? Self image insecurities? Questioning your sexuality? These are just a few of the many groups you can join. I’ve never seen so many people share their personal testimonies and be replied to without judgement and full of compassion. This app does not offer professional help. However, the people have all experienced obstacles in their lives and they may just relate to you. This is a peer to peer mentoring app. Pros: 💥IT’S 💯% 🆓 💥You don’t have to talk, unless you want to. 💥You control your privacy. 💥 There’s an amazing group of Guides available to talk when you need them. Cons: 👎🏽It’s not a social media outlet. 👎🏽Triggers may occur. 👎🏽It’s not available on 🖥 yet. 👎🏽No selfies 🤳🚫 🔞

Best app for people who need support!. When I first downloaded Wisdo, I was skeptical. I thought that it was going to just be another one of those apps that says it’s about supporting people but just turned out to be a dating app. I was so surprised at how great this app is. No matter what you are going through, there is always someone to support you! If anyone needs someone to talk to, I definitely recommend this app.

gotta be rich. i really hate apps like these that promote the premise of being able to give people struggling with mental disorders a community to receive support and help others under the guise of paying $70+ JUST to be able to send direct messages & join the communities where you can receive the best support. companies like these prosper over taking advantage of distressed people. so UNLESS you can shell out a significant amount of money, which quite a few people can’t afford, & financial stress is one of the LEADING CAUSES of STRESS, which promotes mental strife, you’re screwed over on this app. wisdo - mental health community for the rich & able. if you’re broke & poor you’re better off finding a discord server or posting vents to twitter. good luck.

Amazing. This app is so awesome and amazing. You can talk to people about pretty much anything. It’s all helpful, honest and not judge mental place to talk to people that have been through the things you are going through. There are even some people are new and scared that we all make sure they feel at home and safe. I’m glad I download this app it has made me be who I’m and not hide.

Facebook For Sane People. Woah, I never review these apps unless there is some righteous social benefit; Tidal, “for underprivileged minority artists”, Stance, “send a voice note to your politician” that sort of thing. Regarding this app Wisdo however. I gotta say . . . This may be the single greatest social media idea yet. I call it socially conscious media. It’s like someone put all the ideas of Facebook/MySpace (cause it’s all thready) in this app, filtered out the aggression, judgement and overall foolishness, and replaced it with the unified goal of self improvement. In time, if properly developed (plenty of initial app glitches, counterintuitive design flaws, etc. (-.5)), this app could change the world. Replacing the way we understand social media as a whole. I’m seeing Kanyes and Taylor Swifts having real meaningful breakthroughs AND helping others do the same. I gotta say well worth the 4.5 stars.

Awesome concept, troubled execution.. I think it's a wonderful concept. Communities helping each other. But this doesn't work well as a chat room. Not with tens of thousands of people. When active it's difficult to follow threads. Forums for posting with smaller chat rooms with only online users (a few hundred max, just spawn more rooms as needed) would make it easier. In addition why have first and last name prompts but have a policy where you don't share personal data. Have users use an alias. Tremendous potential though.

DONT GET. Honestly if I could give this zero stars I would. The old wisdo was way better. They really out here charging y’all to pour out your feelings and thoughts and get help. Literally there’s other better apps that can help you for free. You can’t even type in the chats without subscribing which is so stupid. It really just seems like they’re desperate and only in it for the money. Don’t let it get to your head and don’t waste your money for nothing because I promise you there are better apps that can ACTUALLY help for free. You can’t even watch videos without doing the subscription which is literally the most dumbest thing ever. Don’t waste your time. It’s not worth it.

very useful app. I joined the app through Facebook, and within 15 minutes, it logged me out and said the server crashed. I was in the middle of a conversation with a girl who was asking for my advice. I’ve uninstalled the app twice and it still stays the servers are down. I really hope this does not continue, because I was really starting to love the app and it had only been fifteen minutes. Please fix this. This app has so much potential

Very helpful. There have been times where I didn’t know if I would make it threw. So when I find this app I thought it would be like others just talk but it’s not there are real people on here who are going threw some of the same stuff as I am it’s nice to know that I can talk to anyone on here. Thank you to those who made this app. You have saved more lives then you know

My Home for support. This is one of the number 1 top support groups that I call home! Friendly people, it’s safe, and everyone there is very supportive and gives great advice. They also have free zoom events that are amazing and the coaches are one of a kind! Must have app if you’re dealing with mental health, or just need someone to talk to, don’t give it a second thought! Help is just in your pocket day or night!

I don’t understand this app. It’s a great concept to make an app for people who don’t feel the best mentally but I have a problem with it. When you first get in it asks if you’re 17+ I get that things like maybe suicide and such are touchy subjects but you shouldn’t have to be over 17 to use the app. If you’re depressed and looking for help you need it now and many people who are suicidal are under 17. No offense to them but high schoolers especially. I would’ve loved to have this in high school and if I wouldn’t be allowed to use it because of my age difference that would’ve been a really big disappointment. Maybe extend the age range by a little bit.

No tech support. I had to factory reset my phone and when I finally downloaded this app again and tried to log in via Google, it says “The data could not be read because it is in the incorrect format”. I wrote in on Facebook messenger for help and was asked to email someone at Wisdo. I haven’t gotten a response since and that was about 9 days ago. I tried to connect my secondary email a few minutes ago to see if it would work and it does. I asked if I was banned or something and still no response. You gave up so I’m giving up on this app. You’d think you’d be more helpful as a company.

I can't use the app even though I have no where else to go. An ad for this on snapchat popped up and I thought it could help with my problems. I am a 14 year old female with Anxiety Issues, anorexia, and I'm about to go into high school. I felt like I could come to this app an express how I feel and what is going on in my life without the fear or telling my peers and letting everyone down. Once I opened the app, I was denied access because of my age. The app stated that I was too young to use the app even though I have the same issues as some people there. A part of me understands why I can't access the app but for the most part, this saddens as well as angers me.

Confusing? Impersonal. I like the idea of the app but it was very confusing for me. I originally downloaded the app to offer help to those who are going threw what I have been threw. I could not figure out how to directly talk or offer help to anyone. I don’t even know if people can privately message anyone else. It’s like big confusing chat rooms for people. I couldn’t figure out how to directly respond to anyone, even in the chat rooms. I helped zero people. The messages I did write were typically ignored. There was one notification in my inbox that said someone replied to my statement but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to check it, read it or look at what this person said. Needs a lot ALOT of work.

Love this app. This is app is so unique in its ideas and inner workings. It definitely brings a lot to the table in terms of finding hep from people who’ve been in the same hard spots we have and being able to help others that are in the spots we’ve been in. This app is truly amazing and I love being apart of its community cause it’s like a giant family of support and love!! ❤️❤️❤️

Really good app. This app is honestly there to do what is says it does, connect with people who are going through similar experiences as you. It’s very easy to use. It’s kind of like a facebook, Twitter met together. The app helps you connect with people that are going through similar experiences and places you in a group. They even have guides in each group. Honestly best app I ever used!

:). This app is actually really good, it helps me a lot when I’m worried about something. There’s groupchats for everyone struggling with anything, if it’s mental health or physical health there’s a group for it. The helpers are usually really helpful, it gives me another place to chat with an individual who’s going through what I’m going through. There’s also some subgroups just for fun which are really cool. Wisdo is a great app for the most part, I’m happy I came across it.

Waste of time/ Feel worse now. So posting your problems in a giant message board, where people can like/love your message? Sooo it is just like facebook and instagram. No one reaches out, everyone wants someone to reach out to them. So we put them all together so that thousands can get ignored together. And feel even more alone, because its not just them, but they still can’t find help. It is a one-up competition, where everyone says you can talk to them, but If I were to say, have problems talking to people, and I explain that and still get ignored and get no help then what was the point to this?
