Just need a car. So I was really excited to get a car from Carvana after reading multiple reviews. I was approved right away and I found a car that was perfect. I am a nurse needing a vehicle. I was told everything was as set I did all of the verification steps. Ola couple of days before my pick up I was told that they needed to reschedule. P I was ok but then it happened again. Still no car. The first vehicle was sold out even though I had a pending purchase secured. The second vehicle k keeps getting pushed back. I was able to catch an error that noted the car was black but the car was white on the contracts which ended up delaying the purchase even more. All the while everyone just keeps saying this is what it is now or you can pick another vehicle. So I have signed my contracts multiple times. I have spoken to multiple reps to keep saying 24 to 48 hours I have even offered to go pick up the vehicle. As a nurse I can’t spend my entire day trying to talk to people about purchasing a car and trying to fix errors that have been created by staff who have not been trained adequately. I have been told multiple times that this is a unique situation and that this doesn’t happen typically but yet you still I have no car almost a month later.

Terrible!!!! Stay away!!. Had the worst experience with Carvana. I found a car and purchased, arranged financing pretty easily. I selected the pickup date and boom, thought i was all set. Wrong. 2 days before my pickup date, they sent me a text saying the delivery would be delayed ONE WEEK. Keep in mind I had already updated my insurance, cancelled my next car payment, and I had even schedule a service appt for the new car. Another week goes by and they hit me with another week delay. Again I have to rearrange my life to accommodate. So finally the day arrives when I can pick up my new ride. I head down to the “vending machine” and not more than 2 minutes after I arrive the attendant informs me of an odor in my new car. So I walk open the door and am hit with the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. It smelled like an ashtray. I was stunned. Surely Carvana doesn’t buy cars like this!! Further, even if they did, surely they would I disclose that this car had previously been owned by a smoker. But nope. They tried to hide the smell and pull a fast one on me. At this point I am furious. I had wasted more time and money for a big fat nothing burger. I hopped in my old car and called them immediately. When I finally spoke to someone, they only offered to credit a future purchase $250. What a joke. I will never use Carvana and will continue to tell my friends and family to avoid at all costs.

Surprisingly Good. I’ve read a lot of negative stuff online and seen people talk a lot about bad experiences so I was worried the ENTIRE time through this process of buying a car from Carvana. But honestly Carvana themselves, their financing company Bridgecrest, and their warranty company Silver Rock have all been amazing. Super helpful, supportive, patient and understanding. It’s everyone else that made things complicated or annoying. The place in my state that was supposed to detail and deliver the car brought the wrong one because they prepped the wrong car because the people meant to detail it don’t work on Thursdays. The unaffiliated auto shop I chose to look over the car with an unbiased opinion kept trying to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to get the repairs I wanted done covered (spoiler alert, they DID end up covering it with no issue), and the lady at my local tag agency tried to tell me I was missing paperwork required to register my car and sent me away. Turns out I didn’t need that paper at all and was able to register my car just fine when I went to a different person who knew what they were doing. So yeah, overall on Carvana’s side of things, it was super quick and simple.

The 150 point inspection is a lie.. I had to swap out my car 3 times. The first car needed tires and brakes which I had to have fixed on my 7 day test drive. On day 7 there was a bad vibration and smoke coming from the rear wheel. I decided to return the car and get another similar vehicle but slightly downgraded from the first car. I took the 2nd car for a test drive on the freeway and the tires were way out of balance. I took the car to my local tire company that I have a long time relationship with and they balanced all 4 tires at no cost to me. They said one of the tires was out of balance by 4 ounces and the other tires were off by 1-2 ounces. These were new off brand tires that I assume Carvana put on but without balancing the tires. While driving back from the tire company, I decided I didn't really like the way it drove. I then decided to go back to my original model of car, which was fun to drive when running smoothly. I figured they wouldn't give me another car that needs service immediately. On the 3rd delivery there's no 7 day test drive, just the warranty. Well this car reeked of old weed and needed 2 tires. The tires were covered under warranty and i'm waiting on my reimbursement to have the car detailed for the smell, which is still slightly present, but is dissipating. Outside of this, I like the car but they shouldn't put their customers through the hassle right after delivery.

Worst buying experience ever. Everything from the beginning was a total mess from receiving the car until 2 days after the 7 days trial so let me explain this company brought the car a week later which It’s understandable there was a hurricane coming trough but I would expect a Carvana guarantee like they put out there from getting the car driving 5 miles engine light popped up took to get checked at their preferred mechanic shop and still waiting to get a call back from them to bring the car back to get the gas cap replaced thats 4 days later and still waiting on the meantime been driving the car to go to work and today decided to not do anything called the Limited Warranty Insurance they provide at 4:00 pm and provided with their Roadside called right away and even the representative at the Roadside assistance started laughing as soon as I explained the problem and said thats is very common from Carvana and 4 hours later still waiting for them to pick up the car so now I am stuck with a broken car and lost a great giving car that didn’t gave me any issues so please people if you ever buy from them make sure you take the car to a confiable mechanic of yours so you have a better opinion about the car you buying because definitely this Carcana is not giving the Guarantee they are promising I learned my lesson and I hope for future buyers not to make the same mistake I made.

Multiple delays - so stressful. We have bought three cars from carvana now, first experience a few years ago was fine, although there was dog hair all over the back seat and we were given some reimbursement for detailing we never used because it was more complicated to use it than to just pay for it ourself. I pre ordered a car two months ago and purchased it a couple weeks later when it was “available” and it’s been delayed 3 times with no real reasoning other than “unexpected delays” after firing 2,500 people. We bought another car (because we needed a vehicle) that was delivered sooner even though we picked it up after a delay and it was still not detailed upon arrival and it wasn’t charged and we were told to just charge it down the road that it was quick and free but drove around in an area we didn’t know to find a charger we never used and it was so stressful just to try and get home with it, now our other car has been delayed again because it needed to be detailed and now again with no charge. There has been some financial reimbursement for the 6 week delay of delivery, but no where near enough to cover a rental car needed to continue working and having to reschedule so many things because of all the supposed delivery dates… It’s been a pretty terrible experience with these two cars…

Best Experience. My first time ever writing a review. I told myself I would due to all the bad reviews I read when I first picked up my car, which was on Veterans Day. I received my plates TODAY! It only took a month and that’s that I was nervous something would go wrong because I had moved and had to update my address. I changed my address on app and I called Carvana to confirm and the gentleman was very nice to me and assured my address was updated for registration. I read several reviews about people not receiving their plates. I am not sure what their situation was but I had no issues. However, my car buying experience was great too. I bought on Tuesday and that Friday was my pick up date. I didn’t have my down payment in my account till Thursday so it delayed my pick up date (which I understand). On my pick up date - my son and my boyfriend go with me and the staff treated us great. Oh and I really enjoyed the whole coin kiosk thing. I test drove it for about 30 mins, got back told them I wanted it, signed paperwork in 5 mins and walked out w my car! My test drive w my family was longer than the time spent at Carvana. I hate car salesmen, which is the reason I tried out Carvana. I never thought I’d buy a car lying down watching TV, just like the commercial. 😂 But I did. Thanks Carvana for a great experience. I will and have recommended you to others.

More of a Hassle. This car buying service is anything BUT less of a hassle! This has been the most frustrating car buying experience I have ever had. Not due to anything on my end as I had all my documents submitted almost immediately but it took them a whole week to finish “reviewing” my information and during that time I had to call EVERY DAY to extend my deadline so I wouldn’t lose my vehicle due to their specialists being behind on reviewing my information. Then to top it all off they texted me only one day before I was set to receive my vehicle to tell me they were going to delay the delivery by 6 DAYS. I had already taken everything out of my current vehicle that was suppose to be traded in including my mobility and medical aide equipment which I need as I am disabled. And now I am going to have to put it all back in my car again only to take it all back out again in 6 days once I HOPEFULLY receive my new car. Oh and take off more work since I took time off to be available to receive my new car. Not to mention the process of getting anyone to talk to or communicate was God awful. Here’s hoping the car I receive isn’t as absolutely terrible as the service I have received thus far.

Some problems but.... The application & buying process was so fast & easy for a second my fiancé & I thought it may be too good to be true. We submitted the payment & paperwork & within hours we owned a 2019 Kia Forte. The car was delivered 3 days after purchase. The car is beautiful, came with a full tank of gas & is as described on the website. Here’s the problem: The tow truck broke down the day of delivery. Instead of rescheduling the delivery they DROVE my car from Dallas to Austin, putting miles on my car before I even got to. The car came with no front paper plate, nor the bracket to even put it on ourselves so we have been pulled over several times for that. The customer service is nearly impossible to get ahold of, same with the mechanic (they have never answered the phone & they’re the only one they’ll cover in our area apparently) so we are now having to take the car elsewhere & pay out of pocket. Overall, if you have bad credit with decent income &/or need a car fast & easy then it’s worth a try. After I read the reviews I went in crossing my fingers I wouldn’t have a problem & have to deal with customer service like the other customers but that’s the risk you take with buying a car online, I guess. I love the car & will be buying another from Carvana in the future, hopefully by then the customer service will be better.

Highly Recommend. I had such a great experience with Carvana. I’m young and new to buying a car by myself. Thanks to all of their filters finding the car I wanted was effortless. Ordering the car was very easy, along with all of the paperwork and scheduling. I did have one complication. The original car I ordered was delayed, and that forced me to receive the car on an inconvenient day, but from my understanding the car was late getting to their place of operation. When the car arrived, Mike was very helpful. I test drove it, signed for it. After they left, I realized that there were hard water stains all over the car, it was missing a hubcap cover, and there were white specks of paint on it. So I contacted Carvana, they were going to handle everything, except I decided that I wanted to trade the car in for the same one but with more features. Savion and Troy delievered the new car and swapped out the old one. They were very helpful, answered all of my questions, and had an upbeat attitude. I test drove that one and so far it seems perfect! It was really a trouble-free process for the most part. Everytime that I had to talk to customer service they took care off all of my issues and had great attitudes doing it. I sincerely felt like they wanted to help. I definitely recommend Carvana.

Highly Recommend!. My wife and I purchased a car from Carvana. The advocates we worked with were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Because we lived outside of their delivery area but was only a few hours away from one of their locations we decided to take the drive to their car vending machine. We did a little paperwork then they gave us the token to get our car from the tower of cars. They attached a temp plate and we were given the keys so we could take it for a short test drive. When we came back the advocate met us and confirmed we liked the car. We were back in for about another 5 minutes to go over some final details and to discuss the registration process and we were free to go. We have only had the car a few days and have already fell in love with it. I am so glad that we bought from Carvana, it was a great low pressure, easy process and would recommend it to everyone. What do you have to loose and also you get bragging rights that your car came from a vending machine.

5 stars to 1 star. I literally don’t write reviews, but what I experienced from the last two days is unbelievable. I realized the newest app update in the worst way. So I was unaware of how to reschedule my payment via calendar, because the old app update has it where I could update the payment via calendar in plain site. The newest update was not the case. I clicked schedule payment and did not realize the calendar was positioned in the corner of the screen beside the hard coded today’s date. So since I did not realize this I click schedule payment for that hardcoded date above the button, I was thinking that the next screen would take me to the calendar. Sadly it confirmed my payment for the hardcoded today’s date. When I realized it was processing, I could not stop the payment process. That is another thing, this app needs a way to cancel payments for situations like this. My sole issue is the small calendar to edit the payment. Called the representative and they could not stop the payment. Called my bank to try to stop the payment. And it was successful. I paid the payment via phone today since this company is blocked from payment process at my bank. Now I have to call my bank back sometime next week to remove this company off the list of cancellation for my next payment arrangement in June. I will be using the website for now on. I never had a issue with this app until now. Sorry for the long post.

I like the concept, but there’s still a long way to go. I saw the commercials just like everyone else and really despise car dealerships, so I figured why not, but I had no idea what I was about to experience. On the plus side, it’s easy to navigate the app and view vehicle details and pricing. However, that’s where the fun ended for me. Like a lot of people out there, I have less than perfect credit. Even so, the 24% interest rate they offered me was outrageous. I’ve NEVER been to a car dealership that offered me anything over 15%, even when my credit was below 600. On top of that, they wanted a $3,300 down payment and then said that I didn’t qualify for their 90 day no pay program. If you’re going to advertise something stand by it and don’t try to back out, especially for customers who more than likely could use a break with everything going on nowadays. If all of that wasn’t enough, I selected the trade-in option and was disgusted when they tried to offer me $150 credit for a 2010 Toyota Corolla which has been independently appraised at over $2,000! My favorite part was when they told me it was worth $1,200 but subtracted over a THOUSAND dollars because they said “the market is saturated”. I live in Atlanta...Sorry Carvana, I like the concept but you still have quite a few improvements to make before you get my business.

Great app, terrible fulfillment. PROS: The app is slick and user-friendly and an all around excellent experience to be able to search, review and purchase a vehicle all from your fingertips. CONS: The actual, ya know, point of buying a car is to get the fricking car. Originally purchased in June and scheduled delivery for Sat July 2nd. They texted me a few days prior saying there was a “transportation delay” and rescheduled me for July 6th. I had to reschedule for Sat Jul 9th because both me and my wife are on the title of the trade-in, so she has to be present at delivery (we both work). ONE HOUR prior to new scheduled delivery on the 9th they called me saying that during inspection they discovered the car’s tint is too dark and it’s illegal so they have to replace it. Have to reschedule again. Try to give me a Tuesday afternoon. I tell them about wife situation and ask if she can get a notarized document or something so she doesn’t have to be there. Nope, she has to be present. OK I guess I’ll take the next Saturday. Nope, unavailable. Now I’m scheduled for Wednesday July 20th in the evening. Meanwhile, the terms of my financing have changed since the original purchase. Now the interest rate is a full point higher. All because of their incompetence and delays. I wish I had been a little less picky on the vehicle and just gone to CarMax.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!. Anyone who see this, I hope that I save you the headaches I’ve had to go through and still are going through… Bought mid August 2021. It’s the end of October and I still have NOTHING to show it’s mine; no registration, no tag, not even a bill of sale! They said it would all come in the mail, but 61 days later and counting, I still have nothing. We aren’t able to drive the car due to expired tags, and today, they just told me they’re doing a “paperwork packet rebuild” that will take 60 to 90 more days before I get a tag and registration to drive the vehicle. But they still draft their payment from my bank account and were extremely quick to draft the down payment! Also, their “150 point inspection” that you can be “100% confident in” is a flat out lie. How does their thorough 150 point inspection miss 4 bad CV joints, broken axils, bushings, speakers, and the list goes on! But hey! “No worries because you’re completely covered” except; you’re not. I was left with a $200 bill. When I called, they said “our bad” and that I was getting reimbursed. That’s the fourth item I’ve been told I would be reimbursed on and I’ve yet to receive ONE reimbursement… but they still take their payment every month.

Never buy from them. Set up my pick up date and time they emailed and texted a few hours before and tried to push me to a new day and time when I picked up the car the low tire lights were on the guy said he just filled them but the tires were below their specks to sale so they would put in for a voucher to replace he did then I talked to several other people from the company afterwards they have me take the care to a preferred vendor to measure tread depth 3 of the 4 were below their standards I was told initially but clim was denied i also had to pay for the people to look at which I was told I wouldn’t have to their warranty company told the guy to tell me that they don’t pay for any diagnosis other than a check engine light called Carvana back the said the would submit an exception to get tires replaced then I was told the wouldn’t because they met standards now they changed it but didn’t let their employees know so no I just decided to return the car due to the fact that they did want to sell it if so they would have taken care of the issue also when I picked the car up it smelled like an ashtray and all the windows inside were smudged with bad streaks for where someone tried to clean them but used dirty equipment horrible service from them would recommend them to anyone

Bait and switch? Still not sure.. I was excited to find a pretty great car on Carvana recognizing that it was really difficult to find any cars at dealerships…. So go through the transaction with tons of time pressure because the vehicle is only reserved for a short window while you complete the transaction and all the paperwork…. The car delivery is scheduled and low and behold the day before they contact me and reschedule- the car needs a new windshield due to damage during transit. Wow, ok. At this point I was impressed. It was rescheduled for a week later which seemed like a long time but ok. I redid all the paperwork, I cancel the car insurance and waited. Two days before the transaction I started getting automated messages that implied that I was not trading in my current car so I call in where the wait time was predicted to be over an hour. They call me back and and let me know that everything seems in order… I should ignore the automated emails…. One day before the transaction and the delivery is canceled again. I don’t get a phone call or an email to explain just a text. When I respond to the text and ask for some kind of communication I’m told the can only help me through texts. Hours pass between responses. They have now rescheduled the delivery for some time next week so I get to do the paperwork again. Redo the insurance again and arrange to work from home again. In no way has this been car buying made easy.

I’ll admit it’s easier than a dealership but…. Not a long review. Just an angry one. The process is all pretty simple and good. However they: failed to deliver the car on the scheduled day, didn’t tell me it would be rescheduled until 4 hours after the scheduled time, Rescheduled it for 10 days passed what I originally scheduled it for with absolutely nothing to offer to make up for it. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I don’t have to be bothered by some raspy-voiced, thieving salesman. EDIT: Keeping it at 2 stars because of their option for me to return the car and their warranties. I got the car on the rescheduled date but they failed to disclose multiple other problems with the car such as: a much larger amount of scratches and paint chips, the car door is literally warped and may allow for water to enter (although no interior water damage noticed). Previous owners hit something with the front of the car and try to repair it themselves. They didn’t even color match correctly. Carvana did not report this. (It was obviously self-repaired). Overall, I prefer carvana over the dealership, but even online used car businesses are not trustworthy.

Easy Peasy. I bought my 2019 Honda Fit through Carvana after going to the dealership and almost getting screwed over by the pushy salesmen there. It turns out Carvana had the exact car I test drove (same color and everything) with only 3k miles on it. A huge perk of buying online is that they have thousands of cars in their inventory. I had been looking for several months but decided I wanted this model of car and ended up purchasing. The online process only took me about 30 minutes. I had to link my bank account to prove I had my down payment, and upload some pay stubs. They made the process so easy, and normally buying a car is extremely stressful for me. My car was delivered to my house in 3 days after coming from across the country. It came in pristine condition! I also saved $4000 off the sticker price! My interest rate is high, but my credit is bad and I couldn’t get approved anywhere else so I’m very grateful for Carvana for helping me get into a reliable vehicle. I will definitely be purchasing my next Honda through them!

Not What Is Advertised.. This is my first time writing a review, but with that, Carvana has excellent customer service. But, what they advertise online is not what they are selling you. I bought a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT Sedan 4D. Under the details about my car (with the VIN included) they had advertised that this car comes with keyless start, heated seats, etc. Also, in the photos, you can see where the buttons for the heated seats are. Well, when I had my car delivered to me, this car did not have that. When I was talking to the delivery guy and going over paperwork, I brought this up to him and he pulled up the advertisement and all of a sudden these features were not on the page. He suggested that I had gotten confused with another car I was looking to purchase. But I had priced this car with these features on KBB to make sure I was getting a good deal. Well, fast forward some months later, I finally found the original advertisement for my car and low & behold it has these features advertised with it. Now I am up-side-down on a vehicle with a baby on the way. Saving your stress at the time of the purchase is really just delaying it later down the line when you’re owing more on a vehicle than it’s worth that you purchased with them. Also I have contacted Carvana & they won’t do anything about this. The people on the phone were very nice and everything, but Carvana as a whole is not what they make it out to be. If you do purchase with them, be very wary.

Trust me when I say “DON’T”. Heed this warning!!. It all started with a promise of a seamless transition and a great price for the car we wanted. Turned out to be everything but. We financed a 2020 VW Atlas Cross with our own bank and had everything ready and submitted literally in a day. From issues getting our payment to them (they refused to get a direct wire from our bank), to multiple delays (three delays that added an additional three weeks), to getting the car with very low brakes and moisture in the front light (both which their warranty refused to cover), and finally not receiving our license tag (it’s been almost four months and we’re still waiting). Support in the app is non existent, and good luck trying to get a solution via phone (if you’re lucky enough to get some one on the line who can offer any type of resolution). They continue to use the pandemic as an excuse for everything no matter how minor. You’re better off saving yourself the massive headache and spending the additional dollar at your local dealership. At least then you have someone you can go directly to if there’s an issue. I’ve wasted so much time try to get them on the line that it’s not even funny. Next step is to reach out to our state attorney general to see if anything can be done. License tag here are supposed to be delivered in 30 days. If you don’t believe this review, google Carvana to see some of the horror stories. They tend to consistent.

Seems very disorganized. So I must say the “idea” of purchasing my next car online with the app and having it delivered seems to be the new normal and I like the not having to deal with the car salesmen. But I’ve been trying to 2weeks in counting to make sense of the lack of communication they seem to have quite a bit of cliches with the verification process I’ve uploaded on several times all the requested information and everything is still pending I feel very much like I’m left in limbo with the lack of customer service and trying to figure out if I’m going to have this car next week or is something going on that I should be better aware of it’s not the smoothest process they have in place and it honestly seems very disorganized and makes me curious if the information I uploaded to the “secure site” is actually truly safe and out in the cyberspace by the wrong person. I would probably recommend this process if it was more organized, better customer service and easier navigation of the buying and purchasing within the app I’m not one to usually give negative feedback but it’s not a smooth easy process and I’m not sure most people would be ok with the lack of information and actual customer service. I hope they can get better processes and smoother overall buying and customer service people that can help if u do have come hiccuping along the way. Thank you!

Poor to no service!!!!!!!. Found and made all arrangements to purchase 2017 Dodge Charger and the day of delivery was notified that there was engine trouble and electrical issues with the navigation. Wa informed it would take two weeks to repair. Decided to not buy car with issues after a 150 point inspection. Found a 2017 Buick and went through all the arrangements again filling out forms. Signing all the purchase papers and adding car to my insurance policy and canceling the above stated Charger. Received a message that the Buick I had purchased and was to be delivered tomorrow will not be delivered and I would be informed when a new date could be arranged. They claimed that there was a transport issue the same thing I was informed was the issue with the Charger but I talk to the person handling the delivery on the phone that morning and was told it was engine problems and electrical issues with the Navigation. I purposely picked a vehicle that was in their FREE DELIVERY area to avoid any delivery issues. At this point I have my doubts that they have any cars at all. I have never had last minute issues like this from any car purchase before. It always amazes me how people who continue to fail at something they proclaim to be experienced at still don’t realize that we are sorry fixes nothing.

Me. I’m very disappointed because I preordered a vehicle with $100 deposit and waited over 2 weeks for it to become available and as I had completed the purchase procedure and had a delivery date for that Friday and waited on the verification to be completed. I received a call the next day requesting copies of paystubs, etc Their system had technical difficulties when I went to upload documents so I called them and found out the vehicle was no longer held in my account and another customer had it on hold... the agent got it back into my account and the next day it happened again. I had signed all contracts and down payment had been verified and I got insurance on it as I expected the vehicle the next day. I was told another customer was already purchasing it and they couldn’t remove it and put it back on my account but if the purchase didn’t go through I could then purchase it. There was not another vehicle like that with the low down payment available and because of a computer glitch I was just screwed.... I asked if I chose another vehicle if they could arrange the down payment price to be close to the one I had preordered and tried to purchase as a courtesy for the system glitch and was told NO! So after 3 weeks waiting on a vehicle I was now starting the entire process over to find a vehicle with absolutely no special treatment for the problems I had with them or any compensation.

Horrible & Dishonest. We were excited to find the exact vehicle we were looking for. 2018 white Expedition Max XLT with tan interior and panoramic sunroof. My husband took off work so we could drive 86 miles to pick it up. We spent a lot of time the days previous getting a cashiers check from our bank, adding the vehicle to our insurance, 2 notorizations, all forms filled and submitted etc. NO ISSUES were shown in pictures except minor scratches. Vehicle looked perfect in the multiple pictures sent. They shipped this expedition across the country from SC to NV. We arrived excited to drive our perfect new vehicle home, with a $50k+ check in our hand! We immediately noticed dripping brown stains down the outside of both sides of the vehicle. Upon looking inside, we saw dirty obviously water stained headliner. We quickly realized that the large sunroof had been steadily leaking so much that there were brown stains down both sides of the white exterior! Upon opening the rear hatch door, it looked like it had been used as a mobile zoo!!! Chewed up leather seats, rear door had scratches all over the interior. White pet hair in carpeting. We never even started it up. We rejected the vehicle. None of these issues was disclosed and/or photographed in the description. So very unprofessional and disappointing to waste our time and gas/work money for this. Never again, Carvana.

Terrible Experience. The only reason I gave a two star was the convenience factor of ordering a vehicle online. Other than that it was a terrible experience. First I placed and order for a car which was supposed to be delivered almost a week later but then I received a text message saying my delivery was delayed with no reason other than logistic issue. Then on the day of my delivery, two hours before scheduled time, I get a call from the delivery driver saying he cannot in good consciousness deliver the vehicle to me because the trunk was full of mold. MOLD!!! The customer service rep said it was bad enough where they might end up scrapping the title/car. They brag about the 150 point inspection but my car made it all the way to the delivery hub and no one noticed a trunk full of mold? I declined the sale, cancelled my order, and went to Carmax, where I walked out same day with the vehicle of my choice. If Carvana is missing a trunk full of mold then what else did their "150 point inspection" miss? Very disappointed I didn't complete one vehicle purchase with them and this is my experience and first impression. Save yourself the headache and go local or to a Carmax.

Do Not Buy With Carvana. I had the worst experience with Carvana. My car had transmission issues two weeks after purchase to the point where it wasn’t drivable anymore. I got in touch with Carvana, and they made a claim with silverock. I had to take the car to the dealer, and was promised a rental for 10 days while it was being repaired. At the dealer, they said the tcm was the issue and there was a back order of 30 people ahead of me. There was no way my car was going to be repaired soon, and Carvana told me I’d have to pay the rental for it. I tried to get in touch with managers to return my car and buy another one, but they wouldn’t answer my claims. The employees I’d speak with told me I couldn’t return it because it was something that can eventually be repaired. I had the car for about three weeks and only got to drive it for one. The transmission issue with the car was never my fault, they shouldn’t sell cars without having full inspections on them. The guy at the dealership even told them it was unsafe for me to drive it and they should just return it. Still to this day I haven’t heard back on what’s going to happen, but I took the car off my insurance and not making a single payment on it. Thanks a lot Carvana.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CARVANA. I would like to start by saying I would never recommend Carvana to anyone! I’ve had nothing but the worse experience with them. They’re conniving, completely dishonest, and lack professionalism. From the very beginning, I should have known Carvana was nothing but excuses and failed promises. I was given a car with many issues! Was told that I would be able to do a “delayed swap” from numerous agents. I had been undergoing this procedure for well over a month and then told that the agent taking care of my account was fired and that I should have never been offered the “delayed swap” (although more than one agent had informed me that I was eligible). This information was relayed to me after days of missing work to acquire documentation from a mechanic that Carvana required for the “delayed swap”. This was also after weeks of being told that I should receive my new vehicle in a few days and that everything would be taken care of. After telling me they would not be moving forward with my swap, they informed me that a supervisor would be contacting me within 48 hours. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back from anyone. Will never do business with Carvana or recommend them to anyone! Nothing but failure and disappointment!!

Delivery of car. At first I had a great experience with customer service very friendly people. All was arranged and car was suppose to be delivered on the scheduled date. Then it was pushed back to a different date. Then again pushed back to another date. I called both times telling them the importance of getting the car by a specific date. Then I received another call and the delivery was pushed back 2 weeks. I communicated with a customer service person whom informed me that since my delivery was pushed back that accommodates would be made. And that they would call me back. I waited and waited without a call back. Never received any communication from anyone after that. I had to cancel the order since we needed the car by a specific date (which I was guaranteed it would be there by). Very disappointing experience to say the least. To make betters worse I had to cancel my auto insurance for the existing car and insurance the new car before it arrived. Then since the transaction did not take place I had to call my auto insurance company and explain for over an hour what happened to restore my current car back to my policy.

Waste of time and money. My husband and I both thought Carvana was the way to go when we both needed to replace our vehicles (and we were ready to spend good money if it meant having the convenience of a car delivered within a few days). Unfortunately, both of our dates for delivery kept being pushed further out with no explanation. My husband tried to find a solution because we both were in a dire place (I went without a car and he had to drive one that barely worked), but Carvana wasn’t willing to let him pick one of them up instead (he was willing to pay the extra price). The person he was talking to wouldn’t let him speak with a manager either. My husband ended up calling the main Carvana customer service and spoke to a super nice guy (Tyler H. - thank you!) who looked up both of our accounts and saw what the hold up was (our insurance policies weren’t the correct 90-day policies) and that in both of our cases Carvana failed to notify us the cause of the delays. He was so kind and sympathetic to our situations and helped us cancel our vehicles without hesitation. Unfortunately, we will not be recommending Carvana. Instead, my husband took time off of work and we went to a local dealership and found a much better price on a brand new (instead of used) one, but we’re still looking for a second car. We wasted so much time and it caused more hardship than we expected.

F Carvana scammers. I will never shop with Carvana again how about they gave me a car that’s already messed up having problems after 7 days so couldn’t trade it in. The brake and stuff under the car was rusted causing my car to squeak but that was fixed!!! But not too long after only 2 months I have the car my car stop driving out of nowhere causing me have to get it towed to the repair facility…… once I left thinking I was covered with my 100 day limited warranty they called and said my limited warranty was expired because I went over a little bit millege they had set which is 4000 I was at 4800 that I used I think. But they said the limited warranty expired because I went over 4000 mileage and I had 29 days left. The customer service said it was either 100 days or over 4000 for it to expire but my point is it’s impossible for me to not go over that mileage. But anyways the car repair facility said the transmission needs fixed I only had the car for 2 months. That’s impossible for me to not drive over 4000 in 100 days. So now I have to come out of pocket because they said they candy do nothing. I wish I never received this car it’s over it was over seven days once this car started having problems I took it to the repair facility 3 times within 30 days that’s crazy I’m just saving y’all time thanks to me!!!

Lack of follow-through. The actual car buying process was good although I received different information from different representatives regarding documents that needed to be submitted prior to the purchase. However, after reporting problems with the AC on Day 2 after the purchase, it took two days for me to be contacted. (I would’ve have probably noticed it on Day 1 if I was offered the test drive that is mentioned on the site). Instead of Carvana answering my questions about returning the vehicle, I was referred to their warranty provider who is not open on weekends. It has now been ten days since the purchase and after going to two different preferred service providers, the problem still isn’t fixed. I have not received the calls from Silverrock that the preferred providers told me I would receive. Now, I have to go to the BMW dealership who is not a preferred provider and have to change my travel plans. I have never encountered problems like this so soon after purchasing a vehicle and compared to purchasing experiences with CarMax, Carvana has mastered the buying experience but has dropped the ball on ensuring that any problems with their products are solved quickly.

Getting tags/Getting Registration for a New Car. The whole process of physically getting a car is very smooth, however being able to get new tags and or registration has been an absolute nightmare. Every time I’ve asked at what point in the process I’m at they haven’t been able to give me sufficient information on where my tags are at. I haven’t gotten my tags yet and it’s been about a month since they’ve claimed to submit my tags. It’s been about 2 weeks since my temporary tags have expired and I haven’t been able to drive my car since then. There’s been no updates on the dash or anything of that nature. The only way I’ve been able to get any information is through constantly calling and texting there support line only to get the same answer over and over again. You can’t even get in contact with their 3rd parties because it’s their policy not to give out that information. So it feels like nobody knows where my tags are. I don’t know who to ask and or who to talk to because nobody has any information. I’ve also asked where my tags are at to my state DMV and they haven’t even received them. It’s just frustrating because now I’m locked into making payments on a car I can’t even drive at the moment and it feels like I’m getting the run around.

Great way to buy a car. I initially went to a GMC dealership to buy a brand new 2020 Terrain and was treated like I meant nothing. I got approved for an amount lower than expected with GMC and was told to get a co-signor which I did. I had a strong co-signor with 800 plus credit score, but they never ran her credit nor did they ever contact me back. I left feeling dejected. I contacted Carvana and got the vehicle I wanted fully loaded with only a few thousand miles on it but it was still in very new condition. They delivered the vehicle on their flatbed then picked up my old car. Due to Covid there was no contact which I appreciated he had all the paperwork in the car and told me to get in and call him so he could walk me through everything. It was very painless and quick. They kept in contact by phone and text. My 7 day guarantee is up and I decided to keep the car because I love it. I was very hesitant to buy a car online and had heard some bad reviews here and there but I have to say each experience is different I haven’t had any issues at all.

The Absolute Worst!!!! Run As Fast As Possible!!. So let me start off by saying the idea of Carvana is really cool and really futuristic and really convenient but the execution of Carvana’s ideology and business model is the absolute worst possible in the world, and if you have other options that you can turn to for purchasing a vehicle please do so. I have attempted to purchase two vehicles from Carvana and each vehicle, Once it’s been dropped off to the pick up location, I received a last-minute message as in less than 24 hours of pick up as in within a couple hours to pick up I’ve received a message stating hey, you know what there’s actually significant mechanical issues we are unable to release this vehicle. Now if Carvana is doing all their checks and balances like they claim they’re doing 150 point inspection it boggles my brain to think they wouldn’t discover significant mechanical issues before checking it off as OK for purchase. Then when you speak with associates at their hubs, or even customer service they’re extremely rude they try to brush you off and They’re all pointing the finger at some other department as far as who’s accountability it is, when really, it’s all of them and instead of hearing the concerns they try to brush you off. They try to create excuses instead of providing superior customer service. this is super unacceptable I will never ever do business with Carvana.

This company is trash. I purchased my car from carvana back in the middle of November last year 2020. After 3 months of waiting I still had not gotten my registration done by carvana and still had not even had my name put on the title by them. My car was totaled at the end of February 2021 and it took them 2 1/2 months to send me the registration and put my name on title meaning I was paying on a car that was TOTALED for 2 months and don’t forget interest too, this also got in the way of me getting my check for my car from my insurance company. After contacting the state they legally have 60 days to put your name on the title, oh did I mention they don’t even have a license to sell in Colorado which is where I live. Oh and don’t get me started on their finance company bridgecrest is just as bad. Absolutely no one has any idea what They’re talking about and you will get different answers every time you call. It got so bad we had to contact the founder of the company and get bbb and our local news station involved, we finally got them to give the copy of a title to my insurance company and what a surprise there total and my total on what I owe on the car is $400 higher. I have just given up fighting this company. Do yourself a favor and save your sanity DO NOT buy a car from this company

Not like a vending machine. I received the notice that I was pre-approved but when I attempted to purchase a vehicle, there were so many hoops to jump through. The app doesn’t work well and I don’t know who Sebastian is but he should get fired. I’m thinking it’s a bot. I thought it would be easier to purchase this way versus going to a dealership but it has been equally as bad. At least at a dealership, you have a person reviewing your application and making judgment calls based on a human logic. I work as an independent contractor. I have more than one contract. My method of payment is as unconventional as the 2020 pandemic. I have relied on all of these methods to make it through this year. Unfortunately now I need a vehicle. I can’t get one because my methods of payment (debit deposits to non-banks) don’t meet some strange underwriting standard. That’s what repossessions are for. I’m just so annoyed by all of this. I need a car but the experience trying to purchase through Carvana has made me less than excited. Plus there is a disconnect between the app and the website. I keep getting text messages and emails but they don’t link up with the app. I’m actually annoyed by all of it. I just wish it worked and I could have successfully given Carvana 5 stars but right now I’m so disappointed and irritated that I wish I could give it negative stars.

Great car, Bad customer service. I purchased a 2018 Nissan Rouge back in September of 2022. I was in the process of selling my house and moving in October. I told them to transfer my current registration because I had just paid over $100 for my new tag the math before. Well you can only talk to some random person on chat for customer service. So I continually chatted and explained just to transfer my tag since I just got it and I was moving and going to have to change it later anyways. Well my car got delivered. No problems. The delivery person told me the reason they were stalling was because they aren’t capable of transferring registration. Which turned out to be true. But the advocates in chat will lie and say it can be done. So plan on paying the registration fees and everything. Ok so I told the advocates thst I was moving to florida and send them there. I know I told at least two advocates of this. Well my tags were delivered to my old house in Tennessee. So again I get on the chat and talk to Peter. He apologizes and said I will need to go to the Tennessee DMV to get replacements. I live in florida!! So great car hortble customer service, especially since you can not talk to a real person. Just chat.

Repo at 60 days. Do not I repeat do not get a car with him they repo cars after 60 days if you have an emergency and Something Happens and you’re not able to pay your car for two months because you get your car through Carvana they will repo your car on the 61 day. The people they finance through Bridgecrest will also repo your car is 61 days they will offer you a one or two month extension but they will not hold that extension they will not do so.. Not to mention they also sell lemons they do not properly look over the cars they say they do but they don’t my friend actually got a car from them that had a dead battery in it and we had to buy a battery starter pack for the car my car has been making sound since I bought it no matter how many oil changes no matter what you do the car itself makes noise. So do not I repeat do not buy your car from them do not finance Stu Bridge crest if you could do anything else go with all of your other options but not them.

Worst experience of my life. I have never left a bad review before, it’s something I usually keep to myself but I cannot keep this experience to myself. The first few days of buying a car from Carvana were great until it came time for the delivery. I was notified at 5:00pm the day before the car was to be delivered,10:00am the following day, there was a “delay in transportation” and I needed to contact Carvana to reschedule immediately, so I did. The customer service told me the delivery truck broke down and it would be 5 days before I would get my car. 5 days!! That is ridiculous. I had to cancel the first few days of my vacation leaving me out several hundred dollars. They also informed me they could not refund the $200 transportation fee. I did not mind paying the fee but if the delivery is delayed 5 days, it is not right to make the customer pay it. Not only did this mess up my schedule, but my co-signer as well. The original scheduled time and date was the only time that would work for the both of us. Carvana did nothing to rectify the situation. I presented them with several solutions, one of which involved me going to get the car. None of these solutions worked for Carvana and they would not let me speak to a supervisor. This entire experience was one of the worst in my life. I do not suggest using this company.

App is good, car was not. I was super happy with the buying process (and eventually, the return process) was super painless and strait forward. All in all, it took maybe 15 minutes of my time to be fully purchased and awaiting delivery, that’s how it should be. That’s where the positivity ends. I found what I thought was, a nice 2015 Lexus IS250 F Sport. The reported damage to the car was was very minimal, a scratch on the fender, a scratch on the hood, some wear on the steering wheel, and that was about it. I thought wow this will be a fantastic car, as I was looking for a really nice and well taken care of example, and was willing to pay for it. When the car arrived, 3 out of the 4 wheels had significant curb damage, there were numerous noticeable dents in the car, and the passenger side skirt was partially ripped off. When driving, it was evident the car needed an alignment badly. I was so disappointed in the car that I returned it abs bought a much nicer example at a local dealership. Although the buying process at the dealership was much more lengthy and a pain, the actual car was in much better condition, it was certified by Lexus, and it ended up being 1,500 dollars less. I will not be using Carvana for any purchases in the future…

DO NOT BUY A CAR.. I never in my life have written a review but this is an absolute must. This has been the worst experience in my entire life. I received my vehicle back in feb. 2019 AND I STILL don’t have my plates. They will not give me a rental (which they can do). My neighbor also is having the same exact issue but she has a rental vehicle. They also told me I would have them by the end of this week and still don’t have them at all, I called them again today and they told me I would have them by next week when I was already told it would come by the end of this week. Customer service is TERRIBLE. Honestly I wouldn’t not recommend this not even to my worst enemy. I’m paying for a car and insurance that I can’t even drive. They keep telling me it’s now my fault that the plates are coming next week when they have already received all the paper work they needed. There is hold on their end and they are blaming me for their hold up. I’m letting you know now this is not the place to purchase a vehicle. Do it In person with a dealership, you can even get cheaper vehicles with a longer warranty on them and get the pre certified with no issues and plates the same day, if not the same day it will be that week. Carvana is a complete scam and they told me I WASN'T ALLOWED to give the vehicle back. This is the most stressful/annoying/terrible/horrible/crazy experience of my entire life.

Good theory poor execution…. Their selection is nice and theory behind their business plan sounds great. Issue is they promise a car in as little as one or two days. You work through everything to purchase the car and then after buying it and setting a shipping date, they postpone the delivery for weeks. Then the day of delivery they postpone it again. Doing research they postpone an average of three times for up to a month to get your automobile. Many are able to cancel their order but there are many more that have to put $500+ deposit that they would not get back for cancellation of a car that is weeks or months late. They postpone your order with a simple text. No phone call or anything. They give you a random date or time weeks out and if you have to reschedule their random selected date it could be another 5 or so days. I asked them if I could meet them at a vending machine hrs away to speed it up and they said “No this car is not going through any customer facing hubs”. I could go on with their issues but you get my point. Don’t be in a rush as it may be months and if you need a car right away good luck…

Disappointed. The value of being able to look over a car before purchasing it can’t be overstated. When looking at the car I was purchasing on Carvana website they showed only 2 minor chips in the paint. When I went to pick up the car I immediately noticed a large chip on the front bumper that wasn’t revealed on the site. The next few days of owning the car I noticed more and more dings and even a few rust dots developing on the drivers side rocker panel. They also bragged that they installed new brakes and tires, which is great. But the tires they put on are summer tread (I live in Pa) and they are low quality tires. The brakes are extremely loud and while the stopping power is good they will have to be closely checked during the inspection. I’m expecting to have to put on new rotors. Who puts new brakes on bad rotors? Also their detailing of the car was poor at best. The floor was swept but the cup holders were disgusting as were all steering column levers and center console. The car only came with one key so that will cost me I can only imagine how much and when I lifted the trunk mat to check the spare tire I immediately noticed that the jack and tire iron are missing. Not good for a 4 year old car with only 26k miles.

Holy Cow! It’s really that simple!. This has been the most amazing, fast pace, thoroughly enjoyable vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had! Absolutely no time and energy wasted on playing “The Game” with an in person sales rep. That in and of itself was extremely refreshing for me. If you are someone that actually enjoys haggling, stay at the dealership and do your dance. Even if I hadn’t found an amazing price on exactly what I wanted, the self paced process was worth its weight in gold, alone. The App and/or Carvana website leads you through everything step by step very simply. My finance decision and terms were completed over the course of literally 60 seconds. Docu-Sign is used for all the contract paperwork so it couldn’t be easier to tap your screen or click your mouse and sign and initial the entire document in a couple short minutes. Extended Warranties and GAP coverage are offered but not pushed. I have never in my life selected GAP, but let me tell you. For the price Carvana offers it at, I snapped it up. And how in the world can you beat a 7 day test drive/Full refund period??? I will absolutely not hesitate to use Carvana in the future for my next vehicle purchase! Carvana has perfected the wave of the future for vehicle sales!

Worse than the dealer. Unfortunately I have to say my experience with Caravana at best has been bad. I have had to schedule delivery of the vehicle three times, because of errors by Carvana. I then found out that the car wouldn’t pass inspection and they were driving it around to solve the problem. Each time I have had to reschedule delivery it was around what worked in their schedule and if it didn’t work in mine they just kept moving the date out. I went to Caravana from a recommendation of a friend. I also did it, because working with a dealer is usually a draining nightmare. But I will have to say this has been worse than any dealer I have worked with... I have many hours of texts and phone calls trying to get the car purchased/delivered and I still don’t have the car... received a text today they can’t see into the future, but if the car is going to be delayed they will let me know... really? So after missing two delivers and hours of conversations trying to get it resolved, your telling you may miss another delivery. I have been in the customer service business for 25 years. Definitely not the customer service I would extend to my customers and especially a new customer that you hope would become repeat business.

Lost a customer. Literally was ready to pick up my car in a few days but the verification process is so terrible it turned me off. I uploaded my income verification and each time i uploaded it they told me to provide more information than was previously asked for. In the beginning I had the option to use Plaid verification, bank statements or pay stubs. In the end they asked for all three and still could not verify. I have 5 income verification tabs for my tasks. I uploaded my insurance card info and they still asked for it after already saying it was completed. I called carvana for help and no one did anything besides tell me to upload it a different way. I spoke to two different reps and they gave two different instructions on how to fix the issue. I told one of the reps i would call back after trying again their way to review if my issue was solved and she told me “you shouldnt call back because a lot of people are calling for information status”. This is after i missed my deadline mind you. I had to point out her inconsistency in what she was instructing vs what the actual company site was saying multiple times for her to tell me “Ooooh yea the mobile app is terrible everyone is having issues with that. You should use a computer.” This was well into the phone call. Terrible experience. Even WORSE RATES!!!

Disappointed and frustrated.. So incredibly frustrated with how things have played out. At the beginning of this whole experience it seemed to be my best option for convenience. My car was supposed to arrive last Tuesday but then last minute a was told that the truck it was on broke down, and because of the holiday, my car was set to arrive on Saturday, well come to find out on Thursday night, that there was another delay on my vehicle that now has the car being delivered on Monday morning. I’ve been left without transportation for 6 days longer than I had expecting. Leaving me to pay $40 everyday for a ride share to and from work, because I didn’t get a break over the holiday. And since there weren’t any available vehicles since there isn’t a “lot”, I wasn’t given any option for temporary transportation. So incredibly frustrating and just really disappointing. For a company that stands on a mission of a “better way to buy a car” really dropped the ball. Buying a car is stressful enough, and adding all of these extra complications, especially around the holiday is just an extra sour cherry on top of it all. It’s really hard to even be excited about test driving the car when it gets here. But at the very least, I will say that every customer service representative i came in contact with was professional and as “helpful” as they could be considering the situation.

They put their customers first!. The process was very easy. Although, when I purchased my car I got a second inspection just to insure I got what I paid for, there were some things that didn’t pass. Their warranty company wasn’t going to pay for it & Carvana took the responsibility & sent over an acceptation and it was handled! Next, I had cosmetic concerns that weren’t listed on the picture so I sent a claim off to their warranty company & they denied it because of normal wear and tear. The cosmetic issues weren’t due to wear and tear and I didn’t know about them until I received my car. Carvana once again listened to my concern as I told them it was not normal wear and tear and did everything in their power to send over my acceptation to get it approved. There is truly no other used car dealership that would go out of their way as Carvana did for me. Every customer service representative has been so very nice and respectful even at the times I might’ve had an attitude from frustration. They listened, they were on my side & they made the things they said they would do happen! Great customer service is always a plus for me! Seriously, best used car company I have ever bought from. I was very skeptical at first with this company because i thought it was too good to be true but it’d legit & very professional! So happy I’m a customer of theirs!

Brilliant business idea, horrible execution. I found a vehicle that I wanted and started the process of purchasing the vehicle. I was nearly complete when I realized that there were differences between the details on the website and details on the Carfax report. I paused the purchasing process and called the customer support number because the differences were material (V8 versus V6 engine and 4-wheel drive versus 2-wheel drive). The person I spoke with confirmed that there were differences between the website and the Carfax report and told me that I the Carfax report should be correct. Thankfully I had paused the purchase in time to cancel before moving forward. After hanging up I realized that there is information on the Carvana website that is not listed on the Carfax report. I called customer support a second time to see if there is any way to validate information listed on the Carvana website that is not listed on the Carfax report and the answer was no. The representative did stress that if the vehicle was wrong that I would not have to accept it and would not be charged. My understanding from the website is that I would still have to pay for the delivery fee, but the representative said that no that was not the case. I am still unsure which is correct. My issue with Carvana is that I have found it difficult to get accurate information that can be trusted. For a purchase of this magnitude, that is unacceptable.

Great app. Awesome

Why such a small time period. Because this company hasn’t yet figured out that time did exist before 1992

No Canadian market. Useless

If your looking for another sign this is it. Just know they deserve 1 star if I’m actually writing a review because I never do. If you're looking for a sign to either buy or not to buy from Carvana this is it... DO NOT BUY from them unless you wanna beg them to send you your car. They're not so much of a scam company because they never took my money but they delayed my car three times without a proper explanation!! They lost my car found it but cannot transport it to me. It's always transportation delays. The first time it got delayed, I let it pass but the second and the third time there's no excuse!!! the worst customer service and the worst car buying experience i ever had. I literally took my money somewhere else and got a better deal because of how poor this company is. Good luck to you if you decide to go through with them but beware that there delivery dates are always inaccurate. You won't get your car until two months later unless a miracle happens and you get it on your first desired delivery date...I had 3 set dates and no car....so I cancelled my order..

Such a scam! Stole my money and ran!! Do not buy!. I have reached out to three of your customer service team members and had no help. I purchased a car from y’all back in December and it was recently taken by a repossession company on behalf of Carvana last night. I have been on time with every payment and not missed any. Come to find out that when my initial down payment was processed the money went to bridgecrest (their banking partner) and not carvana. No where in the app did it state my car was up for repossession. I received no mail and your rep says i was called a few times but my phone automatically blocks spam numbers. Yall even processed my registration even tho you said the contract was void at the time. Y’all continued to let me pay my loan and sent me no notifications. Now I have offered to pay the down payment to yall and rectify the mistake made by your system but still you wont let me get my car back. I also have no information about what happens to my loan. This seems outrageous to me and I have reached out to the Attorney General of CA for assistance because this action violates california law. This company is a scam and they are going to resell my car for the same price and take my 6k and run.

No muss, no fuss. We bought a 2017 Mini Cooper from Carvana in January 2021. The experience and car were spectacular so when it was time to replace our truck we went to Carvana. Again the experience and car were exceptional with only a couple of small issues with the car. I decided, reluctantly, to return the car during the 7 day trial and arrangements for an exchange went perfectly - except…. There was some confusion on picking up the first car which they correctly scheduled at the same time as second car was delivered but forgot to inform me pickup would be a day later than anticipated. Just a very minor problem. The rest of the process and car (BMW 435 i Convertible) were perfect. If you need to contact Carvana during the process, use their voice phone contact NOT text who seem to be too stretched. The voice crew are exceptional!

Sold me a defective car - STAY AWAY.. They sold me a defective car and are claiming no responsibility. Customer service has been kind but not accountable. They say there’s nothing they can do even though they sold me the defective vehicle. The customer service rep wrote it off to “human error”. They gave me $200 for my troubles. The car wasn’t true to the 150 point inspection because a week after getting it, after the 7 day period was over, the car began to have many issues. The power steering belt was so fried that it broke, and the engine has issues overheating. The battery dies has died four times since I purchased the vehicle three weeks ago. The mechanic said that a power steering belt doesn’t just break overnight, and this has to have been an issue before I got the car. As a result I find it very difficult to believe that the car was inspected before it was sold to me. When I ask Carvana for the inspection report from this supposed 150 point inspection, they say they don’t have it. Suspicious and not trust worthy at all. Buy from elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. I’m begging you. I’m out 24k. I might as well have bought a new car.

LEMON. They sold me a lemon. The car was good for the first seven days. I overlooked the tires that needed replacing immediately because the back ones were way out of wack but after about two weeks of owning the car i noticed that the motor was leaking oil heavy. When I went to get the car worked on the mechanic realized that one of the bolts to the mechanism that the high pressure fuel pump is at attached to was stripped out as well as a screw on the top of the valve cover. I had to pay a handsome amount of out pocket to get the valve cover resealed and one of the bolt holes needs to be rethreaded for the screw to hold pressure. It just leaks oil all over the place and smokes like crazy. If you get a car from Carvana make sure to get it gone through thoroughly and make sure there isn’t any stripped bolt holes from where Carvana or whoever worked on it before hand hasn’t stripped anything out. I would get a car from them again. They offer outrageous interest rates but since I had a newborn and my girlfriends car wasn’t suitable to be driving my son around I went with it. I am regretting the decision every day. Make sure you get the car checked out!!!

Enjoyable Car Shopping. Overall I had a good experience with Carvana. Was easy to shop online. They do pretty well with the photos for what the car looks like. I do have some complaints about their overall check of the car before reselling it. My key fob arrived to me broken and still is broken. Was told they put in a request to have it fixed and basically told me when the car gets inspected that it can be replaced by the dealership. It could not be replaced by them. So I still have a broken key fob and my car only has one lock to unlock it on it can be a pain. There also was a smell in my car. Not a bad one just not a new car type of smell. And it just never goes away so idk if it was something they cleaned with or if the person prior to me worked with oil but it has that smell. But I really did love shopping online. The sales people were great and answered all my questions. Just wish I had an overall better experience with some of the mechanical stuff.

Amazing experience from buying to drop off. After foraging for the car I wanted I pre ordered and put the 100 bucks down to reserve it. It took about a week to go through inspection before I got my preview. Carvana kept me updated throughout the process. I ordered the car and it was only a few days before I had it! It came and was clean and waxed. They addressed a chip in the windshield that wasn’t in the pictures that they said they would send safelight out no charge to me. The 24/7 chat option is very responsive and helpful. The paperwork took hardly any time and my representative was so enthusiastic, explained in detail what I needed to do next and made the whole drop off fun! Overall a wonderful experience, this is my first new car in over 10 years and I feel I got a great deal on the car and the level of customer service. If you aren’t in a huge rush and know exactly what you’re looking for and don’t mind waiting, Carvana is definitely for you!!!

Avoid doing business with Carvana at all costs. I bought a car in March 2022, paying up front in cash. The car arrived shortly thereafter with a temporary AZ plate. As of August 2022, despite numerous conversations with Carvana, I still do not have plates, registration, or the title. In my state, a dealer must provide the title to a car within 45 days. It has been over 4 months and I have nothing. The temporary plates they provided expired months ago and they refused to provide new ones after repeatedly claiming they would. I now have a car that is fully paid for, and that I pay to insure and park, but cannot legally drive or sell. Carvana support is of no use. Their story has changed repeatedly, but the consistent, overarching theme is that they will do nothing, and I have to wait. They claim my paperwork is being processed by a third party vendor, but will not provide an ETA, the name of the vendor, or send me a copy of the paperwork. I have filed complaints with every relevant state and federal department, and am looking into my options for legal representation. This has been, bar none, the worst customer experience I have ever had. Do not deal with this company.

Worst experience ever. Car buying application was quick and easy went in a breeze. Now the delivery was a completely different story. Was scheduled to have a vehicle on Feb. 2nd at 2PM date was set up in January. On that date at 1:45PM I get a call that the vehicle was damaged and that it wouldn’t be available. That was understandable and I picked another car similar car for delivery on Feb 4th. On the 3rd it was delayed until the 7th on the 6th it was delayed until the 8th on the 7th it was delayed u til the 10th and again on the 9th which is today it was delayed til the 12th. All I’m being offered is a sorry. I’m told I can’t pick the vehicle up and that each time that it would be the last delay. You sacrifice a lot by shopping with Carvana like the ability to pay off your car early to avoid some interest. If you need a car in a reasonable amount of time I would stay away. They showed multiple times that they don’t care about you as a customer. UPDATE Carvana has replied to my review and stated they hope I’m enjoying my new ride… I’m not it was delayed again so I don’t have it. Will be calling to cancel purchase and notifying my referrals to do the same if they have the same issues. CARVANA is a JOKE

First used car, couldn’t be happier.... I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to purchase new vehicles all my life when it came time to do so. This time I knew it wasn’t in the cards and started looking at my options for a used truck. I’ve seen the vending machine from the highway near my work but didn’t really know much more about Carvana. Just thought it was a gimmick to get people in to buy a car, boy was I wrong. My personal experience with Carvana went as smoother than I could have hoped. I had read mixed reviews and was apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was once I found my truck on the app. If you have all your ducks in a row before you pull the trigger it helps enormously. The customer service I received over the phone as well as in person at pick up was excellent. The truck was better than described online and I’ll definitely be back for my sons first car very soon.

Such a great and easy experience !!!. I was on the fence purchasing a vehicle through Carvana for about 6 months. I researched, read reviews, and more or less had an idea of what we wanted. We ended up getting a 2017 Toyota Rav4. We knew there was several small cosmetic scratches, but only noticeable if you’re looking for it. The whole process was easy and smooth. We got pre-approved, next day the underwriter approved it within 10-15 minutes, they confirmed delivery over the weekend. Day of delivery was cool, the Carvana employee answered my million questions, took it for a test drive and signed all the paperwork. I ended up taking to Firestone for a complete inspection, probably cost me $40, more for my peace of mind. But also wanted to make sure nothing was wrong internally, since it’s under warranty. Per the mechanics, car was in great shape. I’m so glad we went through Carvana, will be a customer again for the next ride!

Great way to buy a car but........... Carvana is actually a really good way to buy a car but I believe they don’t inspect there cars until last min of delivery and reason being I say this is because I was interested in a Kia Optima and told everyone I knew about this vehicle and did everything for it , I was super excited until last min on my delivery date they told me that there was oil leaking from the vehicle and that my vehicle won’t be delivered to me , they asked if I wanted them to fix the issue or get another car, I told them that I wanted them to fix it because this was the vehicle I wanted, fast forward to The day that they told me they would deliver the vehicle I had to call them and asked him what was going on and that they had fixed the issue and they weren’t telling me anything it’s like nobody knew what was going on, I continually kept calling and then finally someone told me that the vehicle is unable to be fixed , i was really upset and hopefully that when I try again with this company i won’t be disappointed again

Amazing !!!!!!!! First car i have ever bought made easy. So i finally decided to purchase a car! I’m 27 and this was the first car i have ever purchased. I’ve always been extremely discouraged to walk into a dealership and deal with them. Single female yea no that makes me nervous. My mom purchased her car via Carvana last year and told me it was the easiest non stress thing and to give it a shot. So i was just curious like let’s see if this works bc i have never applied for a car. And it worked! I cried i was extremely happy. I applied Tuesday evening was accepted Wednesday morning and my car was delivered right on time Thursday afternoon. Customer service was great! Everyone i talked to were nice and supportive. The delivery guy was awesome i accidentally signed on the wrong line due to being extremely happy. He came back to get the correct signature with no problem and a smile on his face. Honestly best experience ever and I’m so satisfied. THANK YOU CARVANA sooooo much !

Zero regard for scheduling.. The two stars I gave is ONLY because how exceptional the costumer interaction is. Today my car was rescheduled for the 4th time, thanks Carvana! And I got a call today 4 hours before my previous scheduled delivery after I had already been awake and excited for the car. Who calls to cancel a car reservation 4 hours prior day of?Besides that, Carvana rushes you as a user and forces you to buy a car and get it done with only the ability to look at other cars not check out payments. So, if your like me and your car has been rescheduled for delivery 4 times now then you’re probably thinking should I cancel or find something that can come sooner? I could find something on Carvana but Carvana would unlock the car I already am ready to buy to the world of car buyers, and then who knows if the new car is gonna come by the date shown. If you are a new car buyer on your own, They know you are in the position of needing a car so they lock you into the buy to purposely inconvenience you and make theprocess SMOOTHER FOR THEM!

Great Experience. This was my first time buying a car online and I have to say it’s definitely a great experience. I ran into a few hiccups with the ordering process, but every sales advocate I spoke to did absolutely terrific in resolving my issues. They also had conversations with me outside of the issues at hand which made me feel very welcomed by them. There’s a lot of benefits that I enjoy about Carvana, one being the prices of their used vehicles. They’re not marked up by imaginary fees like local dealerships are to make up for labor, which already gives them an advantage on the price. The delivery options are much cheaper than you would be quoted from a dealership, if that’s your choice of obtainment. In my opinion the best part is the Carvana vending machine, it’s an experience that you can’t miss. I absolutely enjoyed my time shopping with Carvana and I will be sure to tell others about my great experience and shop with them again.

You won’t regret it!. After about 2weeks of going around the dealerships…looking for my preferred car year, trim and color and not finding what I actually do want; I decided to take the risk of buying from Carvana. I was skeptical at first, especially since you don’t get to see the car your are buying in person. But the fact that they have variety of cars in different colors, plus they let you drive it for 7days to see how you like it; gave me the courage to go ahead 😊. I have had my Toyota Camry 2017 SE trim for over 2months now without any issue. Hence the reason I’m writing this review now cos I had to hold on for that long to see if anything would go wrong. Absolutely NOTHING has gone wrong with my car so far. And talking about cosmetics, it came in almost like new! I will DEFINITELY recommend Carvana to anyone trying to buy a car to try them out. I have been doing that already to my friends and family 😊

Great car. Not so good service.. Started off great, loved the car and they called and told me they could deliver sooner than the delivery date so that was awesome! The car had damage that was not pictured but it was all minor so no big deal, nothing I would return the car for. The bigger issue happened with my registration. I waited over 3 months and absolutely nothing. I called them over 6 times and only twice had anyone called me back after saying they would get to the bottom of it. I have sent multiple emails with no response. One of the times they actually got back to me was to renew my temp tag that they sent to the wrong address. Tags are currently about to expire again so I will have to go through the process of nagging them again. Temp tags are only good for a certain time window in my state so they had to set me up with a rental car once that expired too. In total, it was over 4 months without a registration and no real feeling anyone was getting to the bottom of it. Overall, not happy with them. Great car but crappy customer service.

Had to buy four new tires. Got my new truck easily enough, but I noticed the TPS showed one of the tires was pretty low. I aired it up, then went on with my day. When I finally had time to get the vehicle inspected, they showed me a nail in the side-wall on one of my tires (the one that was flat when it was delivered), and the rest were in pretty bad shape. Four days later I finally managed to have a quote submitted, but guess what? Apparently they only covered the tire with a nail in it, despite the driver front tire being extremely bald. I called Carvana thinking I could get an exception made, but at this point the 7 day window had just passed so they wiped their hands clean of me. You’d think after such a big and recent purchase the customer support would last a little longer than 7 days. Nope. Since I have a 4WD vehicle, all of my tires need to be replaced. In total it cost me 1400 bucks. Their “150 point inspection” is a joke. If you choose to buy a vehicle from them, make sure you take off work so you can take your car/truck to a mechanic ASAP! From now on, I’ll be buying my vehicles from a dealership. Lesson learned.

Amazing Experience. This is my first online car buying experience. Entire process was really simple from getting trade in quote, financial terms to selecting the car. My car was delivered on time, and Carvana advisor was very friendly and took time to explain all documents. I took my 2020 XT5 Premium Luxury SUV ) next day to Cadillac dealership for an inspection, and they advised me that 1/4 rear bumper had minor paint color difference. This was not disclosed on Carvana website. I spoke to Carvana and they opened the claim at SilverRock and made an exception for paint to be corrected. SilverRock approved it in less than 48 hrs and job will be done at Cadillac dealership. Everything else is in a perfect condition. I called couple times and waiting time was different from 5 min to 25 min. While it may be annoying to wait a bit, I still think it’s better than spending hours at the dealership just to buy a car. Carvana exceeded my expectations and I will definitely do it again!

Worst Car Buying Experience!. I would give zero stars if I could! This has been the most frustrating experience. I was in a car accident where my car was totaled. My insurance covered the rental car for a short period. In knowing this, I worked quickly to find a car. I located a car on carvana which was to be delivered the following week. Fast forward to the following week, I get a call one day before the delivery stating the delivery truck “broke down” and the delivery will be delayed another week. I inform the representative I’m paying for a rental car out of pocket but she informs me they don’t cover or provide rental reimbursement. Ok, fine. Will only have to pay for my rental car for another week. No biggie. The following week I’m informed there are electrical issues with the car and it will have to be taken to the dealership. Another week and a half later I still don’t have the car and have yet to hear from Carvana about such issues so I cancelled my order. Have paid $500 in rental car fees due to their negligence. While dealerships are annoying, at least you know what you’re signing up for upfront and there are no delays! Never again

COOLEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!. I have read MANY bad reviews but after going through the process, I feel that the people were at fault for their own experiences. The buying process is the easiest and smoothest process I’ve ever experienced while car searching. We started looking for our vehicle on Tuesday, it was delivered on Friday. We got the car we looked at, there no switch in color or features. It was clean, had a full tank and all of the paperwork was signed within 5 minutes of the test drive. If you hate dealing with dealerships, I would 100% recommend carvana. Our next car is going to come from them too. I literally have nothing bad to say. We called customer service several times throughout the week to keep us updated and make sure all of the documentation was correct. They answered every question we had. So if you read bad reviews pay close attention to what they are complaining about. Carvana is not responsible for you not doing what you are supposed to do.

First time buyer. This was my first purchase with Carvana and I couldn’t be happier. The process of buying was so simple, I think I may have spent 30 to 45 minutes of my time with everything that needed to be done to get my vehicle. The day of the delivery which was supposed to be at 3pm, I got a call from the delivery driver that they were running behind schedule and wanted to make sure it was ok to delivery a couple of hours later, of course I was fine with that, what’s 2 hours when I saved who knows how many hours and gas while they did everything for me? When the vehicle came I was shown a scratch on the vehicle that the website had already disclosed, honestly if I hadn’t been shown I wouldn’t have even seen. Carvana has exceeded my expectations. If I could think of any changes it could only be to give themselves a window of delivery time to allow for traffic and unforeseen instances causing delays. I will be recommending Carvana to anyone I know that’s in the market for a vehicle.

DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA. I can barely put into words how HORRIBLE their customer service is. After my delivery date being pushed back THREE TIMES with little to no explanation (please note, the explanation will change depending on who you talk to) my car was delivered COVERED IN DOG HAIR. I don’t know what standards they have in regards to these vehicles but it is LOW. Now, I love my car and I was willing to forgive all the but as I was pulling out of my garage, the garage staffed stopped me and alerted me to the fact that my car was leaking oil. Come to find out, it was because the valve/gasket covering the oil filter at the bottom of my car WAS NEVER TIGHTENED. So since my delivery 2 weeks ago, a steady stream of oil has been leaking. Which in my opinion is DANGEROUS AND NEGLIGENT. NoThe best part is (and if you are still reading this God bless you and p RUN from this company) when I called customer service, they told me that 1. Everyone in leadership was too busy to speak to me and 2. THEY COULD NOT HELP ME. I was told that my issue was a warranty issue and I needed to take it up with another company because they were not at fault. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Customer service non existent. Got an offer fir my car that I accepted. I uploaded all the documents and pics required by Carvana. Once I finished the process a message saying they will review the folder and get back to me within 1 to 2 business days. It’s been several days and no one has gotten back to me. Yesterday I spent 3 hours on hold with the absolute most horrible on hold experience I’ve ever had only to be disconnected after 3 hours on hold. When calling Carvana, after the original message telling you how you’re a valued customer and that they’re doing everything possible to answer the call as quickly as possible you begin to hear music. After 30 seconds you hear a message saying “ your hold time is longer than 30 minutes”. After that the same song starts all over again only to be interrupted again after 30 seconds with the same useless piece of information that your on hold time will be greater than 30 minutes. After 3 hours on hold, still the same message that your estimated hold time will be longer than 30 minutes. Now there’s a company who is obviously not interested in giving customer service. Major thumbs down for Carvana. More like CarHell!

Happy buyer. What a great way to buy a car! I don’t see how it could have been easier. Carvana helped at every step. I decided to buy on a Sunday and Carvana’s steps had a deadline which would have expired by 8am Monday, before the banks opened and I thought I would lose the truck because I was unable to arrange the financing in time. Carvana helped avoid the problem and all went well. I cannot say enough about the delivery man. He was professional, courteous and friendly. I regret that I have lost his name but you, Carvana, know who he is, so you can let him know how he did. Be proud that he works for you. The truck was everything Carvana said it was and more. With the 7 day return policy I don’t see how you can go wrong. Well now I have a criticism. Apparently you cannot post a review without making up a nickname and that is a guessing game. 5 tries are enough!

Worst Car Buying Experience. Their seem to be a major flaw in Carvana’s system. I ordered my car on July 15th 2020. I was told my car would be delivered July 21st, from the 15th to the 20th i was calling them to make sure everything was smooth an taken cared off. Last second on the 20th they text me saying there was a problem with the transport and that my car would be delayed till the 28th, naturally i was furious that last second my car wouldn’t arrive till another week after already waiting a week. Now today is the 26th. Yesterday i was in a call with them were they told me my car was gonna arrive to Harrisburg that day. Then a few hours later i called them and they said that the transport broke down yet again, and that my order was now gonna arrive on the 5th of August. Honestly 1st and last time i will ever shop on Carvana, the lack of communication and care for their customers is unmatched. From lying to me that the transport that broke down my car was put on a different and then slipping up and telling me the same transport broke down again is something unforgivable. I hate this app. I hate their system. You have lost a customer.

Un-BELIEVABLE👏🏾. One day, while reviewing my Credit Karma account (checking my readiness) I saw they had a partnership with Carvana. When I clicked on the message, it was a simple account creation with Carvana (to save searches and cars❤️)… it simply popped over my information from CK and I was able to get pre-qualified, literally with a click of my mouse. I’m still skeptical, like it can’t be this easy!?However, it was very informative, told me my down payment, monthly payments, possible interest, etc with every car I viewed. After searching thru their extensive inventory, I finally selected one, answered a few questions and literally 48hrs later, Carvana pulled up with my new ride! I can’t believe how EASY, as a matter-of-fact everything was! 🙌🏾 I HIGHLY recommend giving them a try! The selection, purchase and delivery process were spot on and processed through as they stated! It was a dope experience!

Five Star!. Absolutely hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. I didn't have to sit in a crappy dealership for 5 or 6 hours in pain. The app was very easy to use and has tons of vehicles to choose from. I literally laid in bed and watched TV while I picked out my car. The process was extremely easy and I got approved quickly. They gave me a very fair price for my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. More than I owed on it!! Picking up the vehicle at the vending machine is an extremely cool thing to watch. The staff were very quick and efficient in getting my car ready to go and signing the final papers. I can't say enough what a great experience this was. I will definitely go through Carvana again when it is time to purchase my next vehicle. But that could be awhile. I got a BMW 328i that very well could last for 2-300,000 miles. If your in the fence about doing it, just go ahead. You won't be sorry!!

ALMOST there. First and foremost, I have had issues with every single used car I’ve bought (minus one). But before I get into that, what carvana offers is a headache free, dealership free, quick and easy process for car buying. In that regard, they DELIVER. There isn’t a chance I would ever buy a car any other way again. However, there 150 point inspection is as poor as every dealerships. Large crack in the radiator found day after I bought it and had to be replaced. They did cover the cost which was nice and the fact that they work with so many auto body shops it was nice and simple to find a local one to me, instead of having to bring it back to the dealership for repairs. If they inspected the car properly and didn’t deliver it with such an issue, easy 5/5 stars. Again, since every used car I’ve gotten has had an issue, the headaches saved would make me recommend carvana to every person out there. Never go to a dealer and deal with there pandering, time wasting, and crooked ways again! Thanks Carvana!

Wooow, yeah... that’s-rite🥰. So my experience was like-that (i.e. “Great!” Sound’n like Tony-the-Tiger...😝). This experience gave me the opportunity to NOT have a middleman (if you will). I’m a Army veteran work’n through some emotional things. Every now-and-again I can’t handle the stress of someone pushing me one-way-or-another. With that said, when I first decided to shop for a vehicle I took myself to a Dealer. Let’s say, I absolutely believe I earned the “Angry Black Female” nickname that day. I was overwhelmed with how fast these dealers move with their mouths. Gish...smh. Anyway, my sister’s BF experience was great! So much so, she and her husband snatched-up two (2) vehicles. When she referred me I got $500 off my grand total and she got 100 bucks seven days later for referring me—got love it!🥰. The pickup experience was great too! If you get the opportunity to pick your vehicle up from the VENDING MACHINE, please do so! I video’s mine. It was a was a little more than 😎...ha!

Terrible service. I was first thrilled to buy a car with Carvana. I was hoping to avoid the back and forth hassle of a dealership, but Carvana was much more of a headache. Trading my car and finding a car was easy. But then to go with Carvana’s loan I would have to pay 7% interest? Highway robbery. My car was expected to come in on Sunday. I then changed my loan to my own bank (3.4% interest). And I would then have to wait to get my car until a Monday. Ok no problem I understand. I gathered all of my documents from the bank and was just waiting on Carvana to approve them. I called 3x and put my number in to be called back. No one returned my call in time and my “time lapsed” causing a delay and therefore moving my delivery date to Tuesday. The customer service rep apologized and I moved on. What’s one more day. THEN Tuesday comes around. I get a text message 4 hours before pick up time stating sorry there’s been another delay and I cannot get my car until Thursday afternoon. At this point I was fed up and cancelled my order and purchased a car that day. I would never use Carvana again and it was much easier to just save yourself the hassle and buy in person.

Would rather deal with crooked dealer. This has been the worst experience buying a car ever... delivery driver didn’t unhook car before attempting to drive off truck, somehow a mouse nest managed to get past the 150, or 250? Point inspection, in air intake filter AND cabin filter, which my mechanic didn’t call the 3rd party insurance group, so cash out of my pocket, followed by 2 weeks at dealership to have engine pulled and oil leak repaired that was also missed by CARVANAs inspections. Been driving for 3 months, and still do not have proper plates because organization can not make constant decisions on if paperwork is acceptable. Request digital copy of documents 3 times before telling me I need to mail in original, then claim I didn’t submit original. Required me to complete VIN check, and refused reimbursement due to lack of receipt, when cost is on state website. Do not buy from CARVANA, you will have less headaches and feel less used and abused buying from the worst scum of a used car dealer sales person... and it will take less time in your part also, have spent over 5 hours in texting, in hold and phone calls so far, no reimbursements to date, and no permanent tags yet.

Big inventory, great customer experience.. TL:DR Big inventory, very friendly and helpful staff, options to avoid “buyers remorse”. Pros - A lot of vehicle options - detailed profile of vehicle features, Carfax report, and vehicle imperfections - 3 different opportunities to cancel or return a vehicle if you change you mind, no financial penalty. - they handle registration - staff are all very friendly and helpful. - transparency of total vehicle cost (price, TTL, shipping). Cons (more like “meh’s”) - some details are missed. Not all imperfections are listed in profiles, most of the time they’re inconsequential. But I did have a couple big ones on 1 vehicle that weren’t listed when I bought it. Again, able to return without issue. - buying sight unseen= how do you fit in a particular car? Was the previous owner a smoker? Little details that are inherent with buying online. - shipping cost. This is dependent on where you live. I live in an area that had to ship from at least 600+ miles away so I paid the highest ship rate and had the longest delivery schedule. Not a complaint, just be aware for your needs. All told, Carvana was great for me. I will do it again if I don’t want to go new. Biggest takeaway? Always, always, ALWAYS, get your vehicle independently inspected by a trusted mechanic during your 7 Day Trial. This well add to the peace of mind of your selection.

40K Mile Vehicle Serviced 3 Times Since Delivery. The purchasing process was seamless but I’ve been given a faulty vehicle. I purchased this vehicle in February at around 37,000 miles. It is a 2017 vehicle, so it is only 3 years old. I had to get it serviced within 3 days of getting it (I should have gone with my gut and returned it within the week trial) only 3,000 miles later I had to get it serviced again because the vehicle kept turning off WHILE I was driving it. We’re talking about a vehicle with a little over 40K on it.. If it were closer to 75K or 100K it would make more sense for problems to occur but it has essentially been broken since I’ve gotten it. A week later I had to get it serviced AGAIN. That’s 3 times in under 3K miles.. Luckily there is still a manufacturer’s warranty on it but I wish they would have done a more thorough check of the vehicle before it was delivered or not listed a vehicle that is clearly broken? With the rate it’s deteriorating, I might have to sell a kidney after the warranty is over. It has caused me nothing but problems and I cannot trade it in for a new one. Now I am stuck with a faulty vehicle and I just want others to be cautious. You’re better off purchasing a vehicle the old fashioned way.

Toyota Camry. I just got my car delivered today the driver was so nice. I have had a horrible couple of weeks and my car got delivered at the worst time my dog was actually dying I didn’t want to leave her the driver was so kind and understanding, I signed the paperwork and took it for a spin, it looked brand new inside and out and drove really good. I should have been excited to finally have a car, no fault on Carvana it just was horrible timing. My baby Freckles had her last car ride in the new car even though she already passed and my first trip was to the vets to have her cremated. I thank Joe the driver for being understanding and patient with me he is definitely a keeper for Carvana. I thank God everything went so well with Carvana especially after the death of my dog. Thank u Carvana and Joe I can’t thank u enough for being so kind and patient with my situation.

Unhappy first time customer. I bought this car when the pandemic first started. I realized they did not do the 150 point inspection. There were several things wrong with the car, including a crushed in driver seat. I tried to find shops to fix the seat to no avail because there were shut downs across the city. I then noticed there were problems with the tires, the struts, the transmission( recall), the air conditioner had no Freon in it and the caps were missing and I needed a wheel alignment. I called and called and called, of course by now my seven days are up, so now l am stuck with the car. I called and complained about the car, l got very little cooperation, l spoke with several people…. I MEAN SEVERAL, some were rude and some were okay, bottom line l was stuck with a car l could not drive too much BUT THEY EXPECTED THEIR CAR NOTE!!!! I would never ever ever recommend any more family or friends. I recommend my daughter to see if she would have a better experience, so far NOT GREAT! SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THOSE 150 point inspections, they are lying about the car care. I AM DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED WITH THE WAY THIS COMPANY DO BUSINESS. DRIVERS BEWARE!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!! DONT TRUST THEM!!!!

The best way to buy a car!. I had such a wonderful experience shopping with Carvana. Credit Karma suggested Carvana to me when I suddenly had to find new transportation. The process was simple, I chose my desires, and they sent me vehicles that fit the criteria. After that it was a process of eliminating the less desirables. I also financed with Carvana and that was a cake walk as well, I provided my information, and they responded within seconds. Things happened so fast I couldn’t believe it. Best part of all was when my vehicle arrived . It was beautiful, I took it for a quick drive and agreed to accept it. Now I’m on my seven day test drive and love it! It rides, handles, and looks beautiful. I have found the perfect vehicle for the second time with them (2021 and 2023), car shopping at my finger tips, who would have thought of such a thing...Carvana!

Never going to a car dealership again. So I don’t have the best credit.(625) I had been to 5 dealerships and had $2000 to put down. Three said there’s nothing they can do for me and I appreciate the honesty and not wasting my time. The other two I went back and forth with. 15+phone calls a day. My info submitted to every bank imaginable, only to be told from both I need to have a minimum of $5000 down. I was told car dealerships are hurting cause of carvana and figured why not try it. I applied and within 20 minutes I was told a minimum down of $800 and was given a line up of hundreds of cars with the down payment down to the penny and what monthly payments would be. Still thought it was to good to be true but ultimately found the exact same car the dealer wanted 5k down for(minus a moonroof) and a hundred dollars cheaper a month. I put down $1400 still less than the $2k I was planning at a dealer and certainly less than the $5k they needed. Love the car and comes fully detailed and a full tank of gas. Great experience

Payments on your loan. When I initially started using this app back in September of 2018 it was great, you could see your loan details, make payments, set up auto pay and what not and most importantly see your loan BALANCE. However, now through several updates since then, they have now taken away your account balance view so you don’t even know how much you have left to pay off or just a visual for it. Also recently, made a payment through the app for my loan on my car from Carvana and used the same bank account I always have used since the beginning and everything seemingly went through per usual, got a conformant email and posted status on the app and everything but then get an email a couple days later from Bridgecrest (Carvana’s partner) saying there was an error processing my payment and they reversed it and are now charging me a $15 fee because of said error. I had plenty of money in my account and was using the same account I always use, so how is it that I (the customer) get dinged with a fee?! It’s crazy. Currently still trying to get this all sorted out but this app over the last serval updates has turned into complete garbage.

Horrible. I trust shady Facebook marketplace listings more than this company. Bought a car from them, check engine light came on 2 hours later. Haven’t even had the car for a full day. It’s a 2017 with 50 thousand miles. There’s no reason the check engine light should be on. Plus the car had 3 times more imperfections than what the app said (scratches, dings, massive dents, scrapes) There’s a reason they don’t use real pictures of the exteriors of these cars. Got to looking and the coolant is almost out, the cheapest possible Walmart oil you can find is in the car, clutch is replaced and doesn’t feel anything like it should, plus the cheapest Chinese tires possibly on earth. The worst part is I paid over 24k for a car with all this. It should be a crime for a company to sell a car like for so high of a price and completely lie about the condition and history of it. Do not buy a car from this company no matter how good they lie about it being. I expect to get a heartless corporate response to this review that doesn’t address any of the issues I described or help me in any way. You’re better off buying a car at a junkyard. At least there you can actually see what you get.

Really convenient but..... I really rely on this app a lot to make sure I’m able to process my payment on time and of course there’s also the great option for auto pay. All your payment information is stored and visible to you whenever you wish to access it. I also like that anything pertaining to your vehicle as far as recalls go is shown immediately. The only thing I don’t like, which is a vital component for the whole app’s success, is the tendency for the app’s lag when submitting a payment- this has happened maybe a couple of times I’ve used it—but it can be quite problematic. If you submit your payment and the app doesn’t register the submission, you’re left guessing whether your payment processed. So you might submit it a few more times to make sure the payment went through, before you know it, you’ll look at the payment history and it shows you’ve submitted the payment 5 times. The app should show, immediately, when a payment is processed and prompt you when you’re likely to make another payment back to back. This would eliminate you from calling your bank or lending institution to halt excess payments you’ve made because of a lag in the app.

Greatest car buying experience ever!. Greatest car buying experience ever! I’ve been buying cars for over 30 years and this was by far the best experience yet! I was able to shop for vehicles online at my leisure. I could compare vehicles, pick the vehicle that meets my wants and needs, set up financing, pick my delivery date, and after a few short and pleasant phone conversations get to test drive the vehicle, and after deciding to keep it I get 7 days to return it for any reason. Now for me from beginning to end it took a week to get my new car, but I wasn’t pressured by a salesperson, I didn’t have a dozen hits on my credit report from the finance department spamming my information to every finance company in the world, and no sitting around waiting to sign paperwork, find the second key, blah, blah, blah! If standard dealerships don’t find a way to make car buying more convenient companies like Carvana will run them out of business!

I wish it were as easy as promised. I wanted to love our Carvana experience but it was not as promised. Throughout our buying journey, the app was glitchy or crashed leaving us to complete every task of the buying process via phone — after hour long wait times and dropped calls. Our first truck we ordered was delayed a week and when it arrived from out of state and our delivery driver performed a quality check, it smelled of smoke and mildew— so much so that our driver encouraged us to refuse the delivery. We picked out a new truck that was promised in three days but only if I could pick up a physical cashiers check from my bank — the funds verification never worked as promised for me with the Plaid system. Three weeks in to our buying process, I am hoping our truck will be delivered today. All this being said, the majority of the customer service reps we spoke to were understanding and helpful, however, I was expecting a seamless (and painless) process conducted mostly (if not all) online and that did not happen.

Some defects. Looking for a truck I only found Carvana and a local dealer have the ones i was interested. My local dealer was 4k over the one from Carvana, I choose to go with Carvana from the few more miles with better price. From the pictures, we can see some defects and was ok with me. The process went smooth from Finance, insurance and delivery dates even I paying a little more because the truck is on other State. Well, delivery was different, have much more interior defects, scratches and bad paint. So I believe the truck have a paint refresh on exterior but cheap finishes. Couple rust spots worse keys. Calling SilverRock, the fixer from Carvana is pretty good, people answer our call and address the cosmetics even Carvana saying they may not cover. Next week the Truck going to Maaco to fix those issues, hoping to everything gets resolved. The little lies from the pictures gets no 5 stars, the bad job to masquerade the previous dents loses another one, so 3 stars is pretty decent to Carvana.

Overall, a great way to buy a car. 3 stars because Carvana could be better, so I’m hoping my feedback helps. Good points: easy way to look at year, model, miles, features etc. In many cases, free delivery to your door. 150 point inspection I instills confidence that you’re buying a good car. Fair pricing. Mostly low mileage cars. Good job. Room for improvement: One car said exterior black when the car was white in the visual. Another car looked white when it was gray. So Carvana is either getting their description wrong or they are colorizing cars which goes gain at their claim that you are looking at the actual car. Hidden pricing. I got all the way to the buying point on a car then realized there was a $1500 shipping cost that only shows up after I started the purchasing process. That should show up in the initial cost. I actually took receipt of a car I wanted to buy but the body had traces of a former decal graphic that affected 3/4 of the car. Faint lines, but still noticeable. So Carvana is mostly a good way to buy a car and they just need to clean up a few practices.

Just as good as any used car shop.. If you are in a position where buying a brand new car is not preferable, you need a car and you know what you want, and shopping for used cars locally is not exactly your preferred method… give Carvana a try. You get access to a more extensive inventory because distance is not a constraint, they have to do the required quality checks because they do not want a car returned after purchase, and you don’t have to deal with a sales person. Sure, you won’t be able to negotiate, but in reality the only deals you can get at used car lots are for cars that wouldn’t sell otherwise. I picked up my used car at one of the vending machines just to experience the event. Although it was different and minor intriguing, the only benefit I see to this vending machine is reducing the acreage that a used car lot would need. Good experience, the car is in good shape. Great option in comparison to others in the same market space.

Super Easy and Great Customer Service. Saw this as a suggestion on credit karma. I said why not try it out. It was super easy to submit and shop. Picked out a few favorites. Then said this is the car I like. Selected it and started the approval process. Put zero down on a financed vehicle. They do everything from smog check, 150 point inspection, title/registration. All you have to do is get insurance and wait for your delivery. The car came right to my front door. Even my neighbor was curious what car buying program this was and asked the guy. Both the delivery guy and the lady on the phone were super nice if you have any questions. My temp tag is good for three months until they send my hard tags. Never has it been so easy to get a car. Car was as advertised online. Test drove it. Everything works. Got an extended 90,000 warranty. Basically all routine maintenance can go to a dealer under warranty. Great experience. Never have I been treated with such respect getting a car!

Delayed Twice!!. Car delivery has been delayed twice with only hours of notification!!! When I asked them to wave the delivery fee because of the total inconvenience I was offered a gift basket. I hate working with dealerships thought this would be a simple solution. If it is not delivered by the date given I will not accept the vehicle! Trying to get answers is a complete hassle you a sent to a automated chat. I understand the transportation problems at this time but one time is understandable anymore is a serious problem. Update: car has been delayed for the 4th time! Now saying it needs a battery delivery date was to be June 21 now it will be June 25! How does it take 4 days to replace a battery? My car is 40 minutes away from me. I said I will buy the battery, replace it myself and do my own pick up. Was told that is not allowed!! Again no help from customer service!!! These people are a complete joke!!! Spoke to one gentleman that had common sense and he did try his best but nothing could be done and no offer of compensation for the extreme hassle this has turned out to be.

Exactly what I was looking for in car buying expierence. I was able to easily find the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted with the option I wanted. I feel that I it was good deal and happy with my purchase. I was able purchase my vehicle only using app which was fantastic and exactly what I wanted. I did not have to deal some car salesman that just wanted me to come to dealership so they could waste hours of my time and still try snd sell me something without the options or color I wanted. While I think it would have been cool to get it out of the vending machine the closest one was about 40mins away. I opted to have them to deliver to my home. The gentleman the dropped if the vehicle was friendly and has me sign a few documents which took less than 5mins. The total process took less than 30 mins on my app and really could not have been any easier. If you are looking for a quick no hassle and no pressure way to purchase vehicle I would highly recommended using Carvana.

Purchase 2015 Chrysler 200C. We absolutely loved the decision that we made to purchase through Carvana. The process was easy, the paperwork was done before delivery. Only had to sign a couple of pages once the delivery was made. The driver who delivered our car (Kolby) was great. He was very nice answered my questions I didn’t feel rushed as we looked over the vehicle in 98 degree weather in Georgia and he kept in contact with us on his arrival time since they had a delay of getting cars delivered due to a shortage of drivers. I must say if you don’t want to deal with a dealership and the hassle of a salesman trying to give you the run around and pull your credit 100 of times. I suggest Carvana as your next dealer. We will only use them for any other purchases in the future! I’m a forever customer now!!!!! Thanks for making this experience a great one. P.S. About the car Lol, it was in mint condition and looked better than I thought it would definitely love at first sight.
