Almost there. Almost.... I wanted to start off by saying that I love this game and I wanna see it be as great as it can. As entertaining as the game is, I find its simplicity kind of boring and it makes the game feel redundant. Personally I think careers should be a lot more if process when completing them. It takes 3 days to get from a teen to an adult but then you can get rid of your adult in less than an hour.... Other than that, the game just needs more. The more you play you realize how small the town is... how every Tamagotchi feels the same, sounds the same, acts the same.... they dont even do the quirky things it says they do in their descriptions.... Pls pls. The game needs major improvement and I still love it. This would be a forever game for me and a-lot of people if changes were made!

Chrashes almost constantly. Every time I use the app, I have less than a minute to play before it crashes. I think this has gotten worse, because when I first downloaded it, it wouldn’t crash as often. The biggest times it crashes is when I’m trying to collect coins or gems for completing things in the scrapbook. Every time I take a picture or am just about to get the reward, the app crashes. It doesn’t glitch or freeze, it simply shuts down and my phone is suddenly at the home screen. When I reopen the app, I’m back to the beginning, yet I didn’t get the reward. When I look on the scrapbook page, the objective has already been completed, yet I never receive the gems or coins. I’ve lost hundreds of gems and thousands of coins because of this glitch! If this weren’t happening, it’d be a perfect game. Great for small children and fun for something mindless when it actually works.

Gagged. This app is so amazing!!! I love tamagotchis and played these growing up, and this app completely revolutionized some of my fondest memories. The graphics are phenomenal and everything is so cute and appealing. This app has the capabilities to be one of the best of all time, and is right now. I say this now, but can easily see the downfall of the game. I can only say this as I have not experienced everything in the app. Once I do however, it will be a complete flop. There should be new characters added regularly, along with new games, new outfits, furniture, and features. For now this one of the best experiences, and I hope this app soars. These are just future wishes and do not reflect the game at its current status, as it does take time to unlock and reach all the game offers. I can not wait to see what else is added to My Tamagotchi Forever.

Cute but..... This game is so adorable and I have so much nostalgia from my childhood. The mini games are really fun to play as well. I definitely think that some aspects of the game can be improved though. Sometimes you can click a button to watch an ad and get x2 your score but it doesn’t work unless the ad is a video. I don’t know if other ppl have this problem but it makes it a little frustrating since I see the ad but I don’t get the present or points for doing so. I’m totally okay with watching the ads but only if I get something by doing so. Also, I really wish that the tamagotchis would stay in their forms a little bit longer. They change so quickly that you barely even get to enjoy each character or get to try on different outfits with each one. I think I’d feel more accomplished if I had to work a little harder in order to get them to evolve.

Nice game, but a few flaws. I never was really into Tamagotchis, but my friends always insisted I should try. I did once, and it was alright, but I got a bit bored quickly. The mini games were quite limited and there just wasn’t a lot to do. Then, one day I found this game out of nowhere. I got it and it was pretty good and addicting. I thought the fact that food help your Tamagotchi’s evolution was kind of clever. I do wish there would be more food, like dairy and grains. It would show more variety. I also loved the idea of Neilatchi, and I hope more fan-made Tamagotchis get made because they look amazing. However, one major complaint I have is that the Tamagotchis are simply skins of each other. They make the same noises for almost everything they do, and seem to have very little personality outside of whatever moments they have, even though they have descriptions about themselves and their hobbies. I just hope one day this will be noticed. The Tamagotchis can easily have more actions that show their personality and feelings towards others. As far as the ad situation goes, it’s alright and I’ve seen much worse. The mini games are tolerable, but get boring very quickly. Overall this is a pretty good game and I hope it gets better over time. Best regards to Ban Dai!

Mediocre game, ads in everything. This game is adorable in graphics, yet it uses the same "care for your pet" system as other mobile games: feed them, pet them, bathe them and get them to sleep. The original tamagotchi had a lot more going on in terms of interacting with your pet such as play sports and rock paper scissor. Minigames are rehashes of basic mobile games and it's the only way to consistently earn money for items. There are random times a Tamagotchi can give you gold, but over time it won't be enough to buy a single item. So you have to play the same basic, time waster games that you've seen a thousand times often to get a single item by level 15. Also, I've downloaded Katamari Damacy and it doesn't seem to give me coins on the Tamagotchi game, so why is it a part of the arcade? Bad coin farming method. It's more of a task than a game to enjoy. The town looks great, too bad I can't interact with it more and explore. If I can choose the shops with my shopping tab, why even have to leave the house and interact with them in the city? Bad UI design. I had fun for a while, but now I feel more frustrated by the amount of ads I have to watch in order to "progress" in the story. Also, "progression" is basically get new items to take photo with your tamagotchi, having such a false sense of "levels mode" that they advertise. I would recommend seeking another "care for your pet" game that doesn't have this absurd amount of ads. It's bad for your children.

It’s ok..?. This game has a good concept, it can teach responsibility, but it gets annoying after you really get into it. My Tamagotchi just leveled up to a toddler, and it likes corn now, and the only way to get corn is to watch videos, but when I tried to watch the video, after it stopped playing, the game froze completely and I couldn’t do anything! ( I tried this a second time and the same thing happened) And I’ve seen various other comments about this, and it seems the support is just guiding people to their website to ‘get help.’ Why can’t you just check the game/update it? Please fix this glitch, it’s really annoying, and I know you can feed your Tamagotchi’s with food other then their favorites, but I would like it if I didn’t have to always feed them beginner food. Also, I know you can buy a package to get rid of adds, but my mom won’t let me spend money on games, and I can’t subscribe or follow or whatever the creator because I don’t have an account, and my mom won’t let me make one. So there, not everyone can easily play this game. So please fix this glitch and your customer support because right because I’m uninstalling for right now. I’m not trying to be rude, but I really like this game concept and I just want to play freely. Please fix this glitch. I’m standing up for all the people that have tried to tell you this, but you won’t reply appropriately. Please creators.. I love this game, don’t ruin it!

Love this game but.... I play this game daily, I love it, but with that said we need more to do. I’ve done everything and bought everything so now all that’s left to do is level up. Im on level 67 and it only shows to 75 so idk what happens in 8 levels but if I get there and that’s the end of the game, I’ll be deleting it. Also most of the rewards for completing levels are things I got in the past for participating in different events. So it makes me not want to even try since there’s nothing new. I love the items that are the pink/blue/yellow rainbow/cloudy, so it would be awesome to have some more of those items. It would also be cool to have items that you can interact with! Anyway I will update my review once I get to the point where I can’t do anything else, if nothing has changed.

Fun. This game is everything it says it is minus any semblance of challenge! There is no penalty for neglecting your tama. You can ignore your v pet indefinitely and the thing will not die nor is there any penalty for doing so. Neglect doesn’t even effect evolution, what your tama grows into is 100% based on the food you give it and how well you care for it has no effect whatsoever. (EX: Broccoli = Y. Neglect tama for weeks but come back and feed it broccoli you still get Y.) This is likely an intentional design choice, you wouldn’t think so but keeping tabs on your (V-Pet) is more challenging when he lives in a phone app. Even so I feel that it is a choice that will make the game boring to a lot of people. Despite my criticism everything else is good. Caring is rewarding, good gfx, etc. I find it particularly satisfying to watch my tama embark on a career when it reaches adulthood. Excellent addition to tamagotchi imo.

I.. LOVE IT !!! 😮. I’ve absolutely feel in love with this game! So my 3 yr old little sister I let her try the game for like 15 mins and.. She was BLOWN AWAY!! When I say she was blown away I mean. SHE NEVER GAVE MY PHONE BACK!! She was so into the game. Nonstop playing it! Thank you thank you for making a game like this! 👍👍 I’m sure toddlers will be soo freakin happy of this game! Thank you god! Me & mom is soo happy about this game. I mean she literally didn’t stop asking us to play on our phones! So my mom decided to buy her a tablet! And installed the game on it! She loves uss!!😊😊 now she is so darn it addicted!!! 🙂 she literally made a whole song out of this game! It’s “I cannot stop playing this I love the game! It’s no no stoping.. Awesome app. Awesome app, but there are a few things I would consider. First, the little games the tomagotchi’s play, there was this one game that I absolutely loved. It was a little game were you would place the tamatown on a flat surface and play hide and seek with them! It was so fun and I was very very disappointed when it wasn’t there anymore. I have no idea what happened to it but I would really like it if it was added back to the game. That is most of my concern cause that was the game that would make my critter happy. 😞 please add this feature back into the game! That is the only reason I really gave it a four star! One more thing. I would really like a reply back to my review! That is how I know you guys are reading the reviews and taking note! Fun game to play but lots of ads.. I really enjoy this game! It’s fun to check up on my Tamagotchi when I have time and play some games with it. I wish there was more than just three games to play, but I understand this is a newer app. It’s a cute, fresh idea on the old toy. My issue comes from how many ads this game has. It has an absurd amount of ads. When the app first came out, it had a promotion that you could purchase to “remove mandatory ads,” but let me tell you, once that offer was gone, the ads just spiked from there. I’m abruptly stopped during my gameplay with ads easily about three or four times a day. It’s almost kind of excessive for a major company who really doesn’t need all the money from ads. I understand the ones from trying to earn extra stuff, but definitely not any of the other ones. TL;DR: fun game, just expect a lot of ads.

Love it but.... I love this game because it teaches you responsibility. But there are some major issues 1. It logs you out every 8-10 seconds 2. It does not send me notifications anymore 3. When I put the tamagotchi to sleep it doesn’t sleep and then I can’t play with him/her because their tired. I think that these are big problems that have to be fixed. I am a gamer and to me a game that have this many problems is a problem itself so if I don’t see changes in the next week then I will have no choice but to delete this game and deliver a even harsher review. I would like to speak to a developer sometime soon. I know this was a harsh review but this what I think and if you think differently it’s up to you. P.S. this was posted December 21 Saturday. Hope changes will be made.

Great at first. I love this app. Reminds me of the game back in the day. Even though I enjoy it, it takes forever to evolve a toddler, and it repeats the same tamagotchis multiple times. Also Halloween is over and it's still in Halloween mode. Aaaaaand it takes forever to get to the next level. Now the items for purchase are LEVELS apart so that also takes longer. The Game is starting to lose my interest. Another thing, we should be able to manually switch between characters. It's annoying to see if I'll get a specific one back to further evolve it. I like some characters over others, and would like to evolve them further. Unfortunately I have to wait for the "computer" to get to the character randomly. It's not really fun when you have no choice but to accept whatever character comes. I know the original little devices had random characters, but this is an app. I'm sure they can allow us to go back and forth between them. It would be more appealing.

Love the nostalgia, but the ads are difficult. I am never one to complain about ads, I don’t mind sitting through ads to play a free game, however I don’t appreciate not really being able to X out of an ad. The button is there, but it’s either so small I can’t press it or the X looks big but the barrier isn’t actually the size of the visible X so it keeps bringing up the download app page. This takes out a lot of my playing time and I don’t really appreciate that. But aside from the ad issues, the game has so many positive things to offer. It’s fun to dress up the tamagotchi, and it even gives you hints on how to unlock different tamagotchis. This game reminds me so much of the handheld from when I was a kid with a ton of upgrades.

Fun throwback. I love that I found this game. Loved having a tamagotchi as a kid. It’s fun to play and you get to take care of so many at one time! Some recommendations I have: (1) we already have to buy food for the pet we have in our house, why can’t we use that stash to add to the food baskets of the adults in apartments? Seems like double buying, so would be helpful if we could use the food we have for the house for the adults in apartment (2) I can’t remember what each adult likes to eat and to access the tamagotchi list you have to leave the apartments then click on the tamagotchi list. Would be helpful to have access to the list in the apartments so I can easily see what they like to eat rather than having to leave the apartment building altogether.

Duplicates are annoying. The game is awesome! I have two issues with it though. First: I hate that I’m constantly getting duplicates of the tamagotchis. I’m literally keeping a log of what I feed them and I’ve gotta 5 of the same tamagotchis while feeding them different things. Second: the need for the diamonds is time consuming or makes you spend real cash. Unless you’re okay with taking a week to get up enough diamonds to buy ONE thing, or spending cash for diamonds, have at it. Otherwise you’ll be in the repetitive cycle until you max out the game. 2 hours is also not enough “sleep” time for them. People have lives. Give it up to 6 hours or don’t put a timer on it at all. Other than that, great game and I can’t wait to gather all of the tamagotchis.

Amazing game for kids of all ages!! But... I am absolutely in aw of this game! It’s so cute and fun! It’s very addictive and I always loved the concept of taking care of virtual “etc” but, of course with any game there are three huge flaws sadly. One flaw is that I personally think that your little guy grows up too fast! I was a baby for 2 hours then turned into a toddler. I had no time to do all of the activities they wanted me to do when my little guy was a baby. Now for flaw number 2 which is a big one. Your little friend gets tired WAY too quickly. I played two games in the arcade and i was “too sleepy” to do anything else afterwards so, I had to wait for 2 hours for my little friend to get fully rested so I can do activities. Which takes most of the fun out of the game. The last but not least third flaw is that when your little guy is asleep you can’t do anything or else he’ll wake up. I think it would be amazing if there was a kind of lock when you turn off the lamp so he stays asleep while you buy food or clothes and if you want him up you have to click on the lamp or else he’ll stay asleep! I hope the developers hear me out and hopefully fix these issues. Thank you for taking your time to read this and I hope you have a lovely day!

Love it, except.... Love the overall game. It’s fun, cute, a nice way to kill some time or relax with a game in bed. However, there are adds that are quite frequent, almost too frequent. When you’re in the arcade playing games, you’ll get stopped mid game to watch an add to be able to continue playing. You can close the add, but then you lose all the progress of your game. One more con is how often you’re unable to have actual game play because your Tamagothci needs sleep. You maybe get 20 minutes of game time in and then your Tamagotchi needs to sleep for an hour and a half to be reenergized. I suppose this is mainly a game for children? So it’s a good strategy to keep their time spent on their device limited- however, it has the same affect on me, an adult, too. Too many adds and constant recharging for my Tamagotchi only lessens my interest in playing the game. Unfortunate, because this is one of the very very few games I’ve ever enjoyed playing on my device.

Pretty fun, has some bugs. When Tamagotchis were popular back in the early 2000s I had nearly 15 of them, and bought 2 FRIENDS a couple years ago, so as someone who has been a lifelong fan I was super excited for an app on my phone! But I do have some complaints, and a very annoying bug to talk about. Glitch: My latest Tama just evolved to Memetchi, and I was given the option to study for the Gardener job. My problem is that every time I entered the building to try and change the outfit, the app froze. I couldn't see nor select any outfit options, nor could I exit the room or perform any other in-game function. I had to shut down the app and reopen it every time. I dunno if it’s just Memetchi or if this is every Tama since the firework update. It took about 4 tries over two days before this finally worked, I’m hoping it doesn’t come back. Also, I’m fairly irked that there is no potty training my Tamas anymore. I seem to recall In previous incarnations, after a certain age or number of successful interventions, Tamas would learn to use the potty on their own, I’ve seen zero evidence of this. Otherwise, this app seems to stay true to the soul of the small friends I loved when I was younger. The games are simple yet compelling, the animations are fun and sweet, and the customization is limited but still exciting. C:

Almost perfect!. I wish the world revolves around real time? With the background changing colors depending on your time zone. The Toma having a schedule to revolve around it would probably help a little more than the little creature being awake and asleep at different times of the day. Another thing is maybe adding some different sounds since it gets a little annoying hearing your toddler coo the same thing over and over again. Don’t get me wrong- I love my screen baby, but hearing them screech the same line gets a little tiring to the point where I can’t enjoy the game without turning off the sounds. The last point I have is to be able to name your Toma- maybe I didn’t get this option? But I’m pretty sure it would be cool to get to name my Toma something- or even Toma trading? With friends- gosh this game has so much potential. Overall I love how cute they all look, though, and how easy they are to maintain. It’s a very cute and pretty game and I enjoy playing! I can’t wait for future development and I will definitely mindlessly spend money on this game if it shows promise as my last addiction has gotten quite boring to be worth my money. Very cute! Love it. I used to have a tamagotchi, and I was so thrilled when this app came out. The characters are so cute and reminiscent of their original pixelated selves. I love having something to take care of again. My only complaints are: 1. Ads. So annoying. I tap on the sleep icon, trying to put my tama to bed, but then some ad pops up. I understand that ads need to be put in the game, but sometimes they are in the most unnecessary places. 2. There isn’t a lot to do with your tama. You can take pictures of it or play about two mini games with it until it gets tired. On the original there was so much more to do. I also think that there should be more mini games. Overall, I think that this is a good app to get if you don’t have a ton of spare time. Very good game and thank you for the blast from the part! :)

Wonderful game but with small problems. I have been playing this game for 6 or 7 months, and I love the game! But it has it’s problems. #1) There are WAY too many ads! Of course I watch an ad if I have a short time on a game or if my tamagotchi is sleepy, But for example, I click on the food icon. There’s an ad. I click on the outside. There’s an ad. And ALL The rewards are given only Only ONLY if you watch a FREAKING ad. And they disrespect you if you HATE ads like I do, And you see an X to get out of the ad, And you get out, and you lose your reward. #2) My tamagotchi gets hungry, dirty, and sleepy very easily, I mean, I wake him up, take him to the toilet, give him a bath, feed him, play a game or two, and he is EXHAUSTED, STARVING, and DESERTED! #3) Tamagotchi is always wanting toys or food I either can’t afford, I have not unlocked, or is not filling.

Best game ever. But I am glad that I’m not the only one person that it freezes up on I love the tamagotchi app so much I’m 29 years old I don’t care about what others think because I grew up in the 90’s and I also grew up with tamagotchi as a kid . I as far as I’m concerned you’re never to old to play with a tamagotchi . I’m am getting getting tired of getting the same tamagotchi caterer I only have two more tamagotchi to unlock but ever time I graduated my tamagotchi and get to hatch a new egg I’m always hoping to unlock one of my two new tamagotchi but no I end up with the exact same tamagotchi that I had already have unlock . I’ve had ‘this app for 28 years already if I don’t see any difference in it then I’m going to have to delete it witch I don’t want to do though.

Honestly really enjoy it but I have suggestions. I really enjoy the game and it has been working well for me for a couple months now (I have an iphone 12 mini if that helps anyone) and my only concern is I wish there was more interactive features. Something id REALLY enjoy in the game is a friend option that could hypothetically be related to minigames or events in some sense? Being able to visit a friends house and give gifts or host playdates where one owner could take care of the others tamas? Im honestly pretty unsure of the full logistics of it but I feel like if its possible it could be a very fun feature edit!! Could we bring back the original designs for both the underwater room and spring room? Maybe even some of the other OG concepts? I saw a few of them and they were absolutely gorgeous!! Especially the wallpaper for the gardens room!

Best virtual pet game of 2018 through 2021!. I love this game, but there are some stuff missing. More New Characters: Although it gets new characters, it still needs more of them. We need more babies (like Iwatchi and Choribotchi), toddlers (like Hitodetchi and Harutchi), teens (like Waamuwaamutchi and Cosmotchi), and adults (like Lovesoratchi, Melodytchi, Zukyutchi, Nijifuwatchi, and even Ura Mametchi)! Keep those new characters coming! More New Food: The Tamagotchi Connection toys have a hundred of food, but this game only had, like, about 60. Plz get this menu even bigger! A Bigger TamaTown with More Items: Hmmm...TamaTown looks a bit too small...it needs to get bigger. And don't forget to add more items! More New Mini-Games: We have several mini-games, but it still needs more! No More Gender-Switching When Evolving: All boy characters must have seperate growth charts from the girls! One boy Tamagotchi shouldn't evolve into a girl Tamagotchi or vice versa. Misc. Bug Fixes: No update is complete without bug fixes. One bug I noticed is that Charatchi mistakenly uses a female adult's voice when he's actually a male. I also noticed that Nikatchi is referred to as a male when she's actually a female. Could you please fix those two problems immediately?

Entertaining enough. This tamagotchi themed game is okay. I was expecting an experience more like the simplicity of the original tamagotchi handheld virtual pet has. Instead, they've just incorporated a few aspects from that like eating, playing games, and pooping. Also, you don't get to name your pet, instead your pet evolves (rather quickly) and the younger generation stays and interacts with the various objects you place outside. The ads are a bit excessive but a smart move making them somewhat optional yet it gives you insensitive to watch them by offering double coins. Being able to connect with friends and letting the pets visit and exchange gifts with each other was one of my favorite parts of having a tamagotchi as a kid. If that was incorporated into this app I think I would enjoy it much more than I have. All in all, I'm disappointed in this as a virtual pet app, but I have remained somewhat entertained playing the minigames.

Tamaclub problems, didn’t get what I paid for.. I was having a lot of fun playing this game with my little sister and wanted to pay and subscribe to Tamaclub so I did on March 27th. After only 2 weeks of being subscribed, I got onto the app and it says my subscription is expired, and all of the perks of tamaclub were gone. I was confused as it said the 4.99 tamaclub subscription was supposed last a month. So I came to the App Store to check what I was subscribed to, and it said I was still subscribed and that it would renew at the end of April. I went back to the app and hit “restore purchases” and again, it says subscription expired. So I then tried to purchase the 4.99 tamaclub again and it says approved, but still no perks of tamaclub. Kinda frustrating because I paid for it and I have the app for my little sister, but what was supposed to last for a month only lasted for 2 weeks.

Fun for a while. I enjoyed the original Tamagotchi toy as a kid & was quick to download this revamp. The modern renderings of traditional tamas are cute & I like the surprise element in waiting to see how the character will grow. Unlike the game I remember, the tama doesn’t have a schedule based on real time hours e.g. it doesn’t go to sleep at a certain time of night when it gets older. It demands attention very often at any age so I don’t have notifications set up for this app. I can’t stand the random pop-up ads or the system of paying to create “memories” just to unlock a costume that will also require purchase. The costumes don’t appeal much to me as someone who mostly played the early generations of Tamagotchi, so I end up saving the currency to buy food & outfits for the adult tama’s career goal. I don’t see myself playing this game for much longer as I’ve unlocked about half of the adult characters, but I would rather pay for the discontinued Tamagotchi app than to unlock the ad-free version of this installment.

Crashes every time!. This game has 5 star potential. It has all the basics of a pet care game with the added bonus of multiple creatures to unlock. It features a photo album to fill by taking pics of the various stages of your creature (baby, toddler, teen, and adult) at different places in Tamatown. You get rewards for completing pages in the album. Unfortunately, every time I go to take a pic with my current pet, the game crashes, shuts down and I’m back at my icon screen. After closing the app and restarting it, my changes haven’t saved and I have to take the pic again. The app then crashes again after each attempt to take any pics for the album. And I repeat the cycle of close, relaunch, try. I just want to play the game! It’s not just with pics in Tamatown. The game will often crash anytime I try to watch an ad to double my coins from the arcade and the daily gift. I haven’t been able to spin the prize wheel since the first day I installed the app. It seems the only time an ad doesn’t crash the game is when it’s the ad that plays automatically in between rooms sometimes. Please fix these crashing issues. I really like Tamagotchi and I just want to play!

New high contrast look not as cute. I haven’t opened this game in awhile because it gets boring once you’ve evolved all of your tamagotchis. I was disappointed to see that the animation has a new look that makes everything less cute, and it hurts my eyes! It’s very glowy and high contrast. Please bring back our adorable tama world and give seasoned players more to do - new tamagotchis and stuff in tamatown please! Previous review (still true): Even though I’m still paying $5 a month for the Tama Club subscription, the rewards from the classroom have gotten so much worse. I haven’t gotten a large amount of gem in ages. I used to get 10, 20, 50, even 80 gems! Now I get 5 if I’m lucky. And when I get an item card for an item I’ve already completed, I used to get 10 gems. Now I only get 2. This is a total rip off! I’ve given this game a lot of money… loosen the purse strings on the gems!! Also, please add some new things to Tama Town for those of us who have completed everything!

I became a fan if tamagotchi in 1997 when they where released in the USA Ali he with other brand virtual pets , but tamagotchi is and for ever will be one of my favorite toys and do I have some amazing memories of raising multiple tamagotchis at the same time I even exchanged my bicycle for a tamagotchi at some point I have 7 different tamagotchis I was literally obsessed, now days it’s incredibly nostalgic to play a with the app and even though it has changed and so many new characters have been introduced I still love it since I downloaded the app it brought so many memories I went to my closet and pulled out my tamagotchis and out fresh batteries on them I got 2 at this moment plus the one in the app A+ love this app so much

I have been trying to find a genuine free to play app for YEARS and kept getting caught up with games like Angry Birds 2, Diner Dash and Fishdom, which everybody knows force you to spend your own hard earned money in order to have fun or progress at all. This game finally delivers exactly what it promises by allowing you to spend coins and gems that you earn by playing mini games, like a classic computer or a Tamagotchi game used to be! You will never need to spend your own money to enjoy all of the benefits of coins or gems. Everything about this app is completely brilliant, from the game structure and not having to spend your money, to the graphics and sound effects. You can tell that the developers actually care and put so much effort and time into making this charming and magical game the best on the App Store. I’m so happy with this game, as someone who grew up with dozens of tamagotchis, you did the community proud! THANK YOU!

Pretty neat. I used to play with these as a child and loved them so much. Instead on tamatown when it came out and was disappointed when they discontinued the toy. Now they are upwards of 30$ or more. Despite the app being really fun there are a few let downs. I wish they carried over the match maker and continued on with the generations. I think that was one of my favorite parts of the toy that the app doesn't have. It'd be neat to bring it back. I do think they get tired too easily. I wish the extras that are available when you level up were cheaper. Some of them would wipe out how much coins I have and then I wouldn't be able to feed my dude. Looking forward to updates.

Addicting, but filled ads and pay to win. The game is very fun for the first hour but after you have played for awhile the number of ads exponentially increase. The game also includes a career choice for you character, the requirement to complete the career and the character is to buy an outfit that costs 3000 coins, the only way i was able to achieve this was buy using the 2000 coins you are given at the beginning and grinding the piano game. Some of the characters prefer foods like bananas which you can only get by watching ads. There are so many pop up ads and before and after for 3 or 4 seconds a screen pops up printing the add which means you have to sit through that to. Now i don’t know if they had just release the subscription service but it seems like the game gradually introduces in app purchases and gives you gifts if you even just visit the shop. The whole app is based around earning money off the mini games and earning coins , not taking care of you character which takes like a minute. I know the developers responded to the reviews claiming to many adds but i would much rather it just be a 4.99 app instead of having monetized gameplay.

Great game to play when you are bored. I absolutely love this game! Been playing for about a week and a half, and I just got my fourth tamagotchi 1. Manetchi 2. Ominitchi 3. Memetchi and now I have mimifuwatchi! I love the careers, and your tamagotchi reactions are so cute! And when you get bored, you can play one of the super fun mini games. My personal favorite is planet hop. Although I have a couple suggestions. First of all, maybye instead of just evolving every night until adult, it should do level up. Like every 5 levels, your tamagotchi evolves until adult. Also, the prices of stuff. I’m level 21 and it is such a grind to get 3000 coins for a carreer costume that is required to evolve. But overall, Great Job! 10 out of 10! I can’t wait to see what you do next! Well, gotta go. Mimifuwatchi is hungry! Good job!

Love this. Not only did I have these when I was younger but I thrived threw my childhood bored moments and trained to be a good/better pet owner someday jst by owning my Tamagachi. I have been wondering for years now whatever happened to the concept of the cutest keychain pet in the world! And now this App completes me almst 20 years later! Thank you. My one frustration is that I can’t pick which one I use at once. I jst wish it was easier to actually earn more coins for the outfits and fun activities as well as could change which one of my tamogachis im trying to forfill and earn more stuff for. It takes forever to earn enough of the right amount of coins and stuff that it takes to build my fun town. Still will try.

Fun game. I have really enjoyed this game when I have had some down time. Great graphics, fun mini games, the food store is neat (love the variety of foods), and the clothes are neat (could use more options for them if possible). However, lately it’s been glitching. It won’t stay open or it has been freezing. I hope it’s just due to needing updated again. I can’t wait to see more options ( the type of options that allows for them to get new pictures that is) for the town, and it’ll be exciting to see a Christmas themed town. Halloween is over. So, can’t wait for that decor to leave. A snowy town will be so cute. Also, perhaps a theme, like you had done for the candy corn, is perhaps playing to earn lightbulbs to help for doing a outdoor light contest for the town, or earning candy canes or even cookies. Just some ideas. New Years will be fun also. Can do the whole gold and silver theme and to play for the countdown of the New Years. Anyways, going overboard with ideas. Lol. I really think you have a fun game. A way to pass the time. Keep up the great work!

Cute but not very good. I looked up this game in a nostalgic haze and at first I was excited but then the only real point of the game came out. Some games are so good they make you willing to spend money to enhance your gaming experience. Some games, like this one, are designed to be a cash grab. 1. Ads are everywhere and frequently mandatory. Not just the banner bar. Not just the opportunity to watch an ad for rewards in the game. But a frequent and full screen interruption of your game play. (You will be offered the chance to turn them off for a fee) your pet will want things that are an absurd amount of coins or jewels or even cost an ad watch to get. Your pet will quickly run out of energy to “play” and will need to take a two hour nap (that you can speed up ... for a price) I get that they have to make their money too but all of this advertising really disrupts the game play. The real plus side is that they ads are incredibly repetitive and boring, so at least there’s that. They didn’t make a game they made a way to distribute advertisements. I’ll be deleting the game after only a couple days to trying to play it.

Well it didn’t die this time. I grew up playing Tamagotchi so I was excited when I saw this app! It’s so cool to see 90s stuff getting this digital revival via smartphones now. This app is fun and I love the graphics. I like how when your tamagotchi evolves you see the pixelated version from the original, to the new 3D one. They’re so cute and more alive since they get to move around and talk more than just beep. I like how your previous tamagotchis just roam around the town so that’s cute. Things that could be improved though is the number of games and features. Maybe adding some of the original games in addition to the new ones. Also adding things like the family tree and renovating our homes. I really like this app and maybe as more updates happen we can see more features added.

Some ideas. I’ve been playing tamagotchi since I was a kid. And I always liked checking on them to see what they were doing. Some ideas would be like to have them move around on their own instead of them just standing there, looking at you. Also for the shop, in tamagotchi, the shop always changes, within hours. It was really nice to see different things, especially toys, like a ball, or a stereo, etc. I would like to see that in this app. Having different objects to see them do different things. Also maybe being able to buy objects for their homes? Like changing carpets, wallpapers, or buying tables and stuff. I think it would be really nice to be able to customize your home the way you want it! 😍 I’m a big fan of tamagotchi and I see a lot of potential in this app 😍

One gripe-edited- now 2 gripes. My ONLY gripe about this so far- is the fact that the limit you to getting any bonus points in the match 3 mini game. I also wish you could get more coins doing the match or space hop (or even hide and seek). They just don’t seem like enough compared to what you get from the band practice game. ————————— Edit::: they added a new game hoops and you only get 10 coins for playing forever.... wow. Could have been something great but was not executed well. I also downloaded an app that shows in the game section hoping to get coins from it. Got nothing. What’s the point of those in the arcade if I can’t progress in the game I’m playing? After playing the game a few months (level 26) I have only unlocked 4 adult tomogatchis. I have changed their food every time and somehow I always end up with Memetchi. It’s like flashbacks as a kid again! It’s getting really frustrating and my want to keep playing is dwindling.....

Bad Tamagotchi App Load. If I could. I would give it a zero, but I am required to give it a one star to be heard. I have never encountered an app that actually never loaded. I restarted my phone. I deleted the app, and re-downloaded and it is still stuck on the same image of the loading screen with the characters that are advertised before the game. After the white screen with copy right. I was really hoping to play this game due to me having 2 original tamagotchi characters/physical games. With simple color’s, no patterns around the products rim. I was choosing the reason to download this stupid app because I still have my physical tamagotchi’s that work, but I thought there would unique kind of tamagotchi throughout the app that would be different than the keychain versions, but I couldn’t even try it out due to the pause loading error in the screen settings. I turned my wifi on and off and checked the game nothing worked even, when I was currently connected to the internet through my phone and I turned on and of airplane mode and that didn’t work properly. So it’s on your side.

Cute and low maintence. It seems fairly low maintenance so that’s nice. I understand the ads are mostly optional (like viewing an ad to get double coins or viewing an ad to open the present box) it keeps the need for micro transactions pretty low. The interactive ads are kind of annoying though and there is one ad in particular that I don’t think is suitable for this games target audience. I can’t remember what game it’s advertising but it’s a choose your own adventure type game but it’s quite adult themed. I would recommend removing that ad since this game is definitely for small children. I saw it a lot yesterday but haven’t seen it today so maybe it’s already gone. Anyway cute game I’m hoping more games are added later on. I did see some beta run throughs of this game months before it got released and it doesn’t appear to be much different from the beta test. Edit. So I believe the ad in question has been removed. But now I’m getting an ad that I have to watch just to use the bathroom? I like the idea of the ads being optional.

Needs a UFO (Claw machine) minigame! <33. I used to love tamagotchi as a kid. i specifically remember tamagotchi connection and how I was able to connect my pet to a site on a computer and expand what i was able to do in this expanded internet universe. There was one thing in particular though that I remember about Tamagotchi connection’s site. A wonderful claw game that I played for hours on end, earning coins so that I could buy things for my tamagotchi’s item collection. This game has so much more than the classic tamagotchi’s did growing up... except for that claw game! it would be a perfect addition to the arcade in-game and since there are only 4 coin earning games, it would add some fun variety. Just an idea on how this already enjoyable game can be more enjoyable.

Good game, but needs less glitches, and better pet-age-related features.. The game is cute and very addicting, but there are a few glitches. Half the time you want to switch to a different room, the game crashes and won’t let me out, and I have to do a hard reset on my phone. Then, when a forced add comes, I watch the add, then it freezes at the end, won’t let me get out of the app or let me click on an x, which isn’t even there. Once again, I needed to give my phone a hard reset. When the game DOES function, I have a small complaint about the bathroom. I don’t understand why I have to help a teen or adult use the potty or take a bath. I would think that before they become a teen they should finally be potty trained and be fully capable at bathing themselves. I hope that these concepts can be improved in the future, I am still keeping the game btw, It’s just really annoying when it glitches or I need to help an ADULT on the potty. The game is still cute, I would recommend trying it out, just be warned about these glitches that happen every now and then, and if you find helping grown pets on the toilet, be warned about that, too. Overall, this is still a great game, just has a few minor problems every now and then.

Great but disappointing. I absolutely love this game don’t get me wrong! But the biggest flaw I have run into is that it’s so easy to accidentally sell all of your gems for coins inside of the store. I personally don't want to invest real money to collect the gems. So saving them up takes a very long time. I finally reached 99 gems so I could unlock one of the photo stations needed for the photo book. I by accident clicked on the currency for gems and I lost everything I worked for. I feel like there should be a “are you sure option?” Because I now feel discouraged because it took so long to earn these gems. And now I have to start over which now has stopped me from wanting to play this game at all. Please fix this! But besides that I love this game.

Great game. I truly think this is for all ages I’m ten years old and I love this. I love the concept of taking care of a pet and being able to take it every where. I love the characters! There so easy to get attached to! I really love that they have a apartment so you can see all of generations, and they don’t just disappear after they get a job and move out. Bandai has absolutely come a long way since they started but can you make it so they can’t get a lot of poops on the floor because I can’t look after it while I’m sleeping 😂 but can you please also make it do they can die? It doesn’t really teach kids to look after something if I will just get a lot of poops in the floor or get really sad and they can just fix it up in two minutes! (Pls pls pls release the tamagotchi classic on IOS? Pls)

Sebirechi’s, Sebirechi’s everywhere.... I’ve played this game for a good amount of time, it was really fun and brought back memories of my childhood. But recently I had stopped unlocking other Tamagotchi’s and only been receiving Sebirechi’s as it evolves to an adult (the yellow duck). And it also goes for when it evolves to a teen, I keep getting the same two Tama’s and it’s gotten so annoying and redundant. Another problem is there’s nothing past level 36?? Which is actually quick to achieve and I’ve lost interest in the game since there’s no more higher levels to advance. I’ve deleted the app because I didn’t see a point in playing if I was going to keep getting the same evolutions and there was nothing past level 36. The evolution outcomes really should be fixed, and the levels be updated because there’s no point in playing until they do.

Only one complaint. Overall I adore this game and have enjoyed it for a few months now. However the specific complaint I have has recently slowed my playing. With the recent addition of the “flower wheel” I’ve tried my luck to get my coins and instead became BOMBARDED with food. This has mildly ruined the game for me as it is more difficult to find enjoyment of moving forward with characters and fulfilling the challenges of completing their “careers”. So instead of playing occasionally throughout the day I’ve now dwindled to like once every two weeks because it feels like a chore. So I ask to the developers maybe put a cap on gifted food or allow the option to buy others? Like seriously I have so much food! I stopped spinning the wheel.

Weird af. Downloaded it thinking it’d be just like the good old days, awesome simple fun. This version isn’t it, kind of seems like it’s for kids 10 & under who have heard of tamagotchi and want to play but don’t know what to expect. Graphics and colours are nice and bright and seems like there’s a lot to do but the constant high pitched baby sounds and burping are waaay over the top. Couldn’t stand it so deleting the app mainly because of the over top sounds and burping (GROSS) 🤢

Great Game!. This is an amazing game, I love how it's always adding new characters so you never get bored! However, I can't figure out how to get the game that they show (the one where you look through Tamatown for Characters) so if you could update it or me or make it more clear in-game how to open that game. Ads are ridiculous!. Out of a five minute quick session in the morning, two entire minutes will be spent waiting for an endless ad with no timer or (X) to finish. You end up force closing the app and reopening it. Then it’s not even 30 seconds until you get another. It’s not free to play if it’s unplayable. I’m a busy person and I don’t have time for this.

Meh. The games pretty cool. I didn't want my tamagotchi to go to tama town but I let him. The game keeps crashing on me though that's annoying. It crashes every time my tama wants me to take a photo and every time I play the mini games. Then I always have to redo it because I lost all my process. It really needs to be fixed

Modern take on 90s classic. It’s nice to see that Bandai are still around, and that they’re updating tamagotchis to fit today’s youth. This app might seem initially plagued by ads, but thanks to this there isn’t a big push to purchase the game’s premium currency- you can unlock everything through coins from playing games without having to buy diamonds. Actually, the ‘starter pack’ in app purchase is really good value, it takes away all the mandatory ads and gives you 2x the coins in the arcade for really cheap. Considering the app is free, I highly recommend purchasing it, it’ll make your gameplay experience much better. What I love is that the game is at its heart still a tamagotchi, and sparks that bit of nostalgia while still being modern enough to retain your interest.

Ads. I’ve always enjoyed this app and have been playing it for a while, but you guys are starting to push it with the amount of ads recently. I already watch plenty of ads on this game when earning extra cash, so I kind of feel like I’m watching ads half the time as you start pushing in more

Waaay too many ads, even once you pay to remove them. Really great game, i really enjoyed it when i first started playing, very nostalgic. After a few days i got very sick of the ads every time you do anything, i paid to have them removed but still see them just as often as i did before, it becomes very frustrating when you try to enjoy such a good game. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't for the ads. Thats how bad they are.

Nice, but needs a bug fix. The game is simple but enjoyable, it does justice to the original toys while adding more exciting elements such as the mini games and photo capturing. I also love that elements of the classic 8bit style have been implemented into the game. My only concern is that the game will not stop quitting unexpectedly. I can’t play for more than 2 minutes before the app crashes. Please fix this!

Good. Fairly good game however there is a free daily spin wheel with like 10 options or so and you can play it a few times a day! But every single time I spin it I get free 100 coins (which isn’t that much) every time and it’s so frustrating I would like something else thanks

Frustrated.. I love the idea of this game and wish I could play but no matter how many times I go through the tutorial it always gets stuck on taking a photo during soccer. It will not register the tap. I have tried everything but there’s no way to tap out of it or any way to access a menu before I get there.. unsure if this is a known bug but I can’t find anyone speaking of this issue.

Great game except.... I started off with a cute little tamagotchi, then... I’m not sure, he got a pet of his own or something... looks like a seedling with a beak! Anyway, now THIS is the creature I’m taking care of while my tamagotchi is outside playing endless amounts of soccer. Ive tried everything to switch it back... the only thing that looks remotely close to being a way to switch is the photo album on the side. But while it shows me the two different critters, selecting one only tells me about it, there is literally no way to swap back, how can this possibly be the way of it?? I’ve spend 20 minutes going through every option I can... nothing!

Adorable, Addictive, Amazing!. I haven’t played a Tamagotchi in years, mostly because I could never convince myself to purchase one when there’s the chance I might never really use it. I can say that, after playing this since launch date continuously without getting sick of it, I’m very interested in purchasing a handheld tamagotchi again. This game is very cute, to begin with you’re given an egg with a Tamagotchi Character inside to look after for the next half a day or so, once enough time has passed it will evolve into Toddler, then later into a Teen, and finally into an Adult. I would compare this game to something along the lines of My Talking Tom, it has similar mechanics, but careers and evolutions are new. Careers are something you’re given the opportunity to complete only when the character has reached the adult form, and they’re quick and simple to complete. As far as I’m aware, it’s one career per character. I’m absolutely in love with this game, I’ve been playing it once every couple hours since it first came into the App Store not too long ago, and I wouldn’t let it go for anything, now. Granted, I don’t really play any other virtual pet games and there might be better ones out there that I haven’t tried, but this one is everything you loved about Tamagotchi place into a coloured, 3D app with more activities than ever before. The games are fun, the evolutions are cute, the notifications aren’t too excessive; what more could you ever want in a virtual pet app?

Adorable. Tamagotchi is one of the best virtual pet games I’ve experienced. You can feed, bathe, take photos of and upgrade your pets’ rooms as well as their play areas. It is quite customizable and the pets are simply adorable, they make a variety of noises and the game is very engaging. The mini games are fun and the coins and gems not the hardest to earn. Ads can be quite difficult at times when I only have a restricted time to play but overall the designs are fantastic.

Photo album issues. I love this game but I have a couple issues when it comes to placement of town items. Even when my pets think of the picnic and teacups and I select the item my pets still think of the item as if it still doesn’t exist in the town meaning I can’t take the photos I need to complete my photo album.

App keeps crashing. I would have rated higher but my app keeps crashing on me so much that I'm scared to even do anything to cause it to crash. Have also missed out on bonus coins and even food because it ends up crashing on me. Please fix this!!! Other than that, pretty cool game. Massive nostalgia for me and I love it :)

Amazing app but.... Don’t get me wrong I love this game it’s just they lose energy really quick if you could make it last a bit longer it would be perfect, especially when playing mini games! Actually talking about mini games, the hide and seek is the most greatest mini game I have ever played. Though there’s a small glitch, as your character helps you and gives you the ‘!’ signal you should be able to see the hider but when mine did I didn’t see anything, I’ve tried looking in the water, trees, bushes, inside houses/stores (including the back and sides) noting! It’s happening a lot and I’m not sure if it’s suppose to happen but yeah I just wanted to tell you. Overall I really enjoy this game!!

Please allow users to interact with one another!. This is an adorable, incredibly addictive app. I’ve played it everyday for the past few weeks and have become a bit obsessed with collecting all the tamagotchi in the game (and I was pleased to see that a new one was added in a recent update!). I bought the starter pack for a few dollars not long after beginning, and I’m so glad I did. I get double coins for every minigame I play, and it’s really helped me make a lot of money in a short amount of time! If you’ve got a few bucks to spare (and love cute virtual pets as much as I do), I suggest buying it while it’s available to you as well! I love that the developer(s) seem really invested in improving the game, so I have a suggestion that I think would make it that much more fulfilling: being able to connect with friends’ tamagotchi! Going to one another’s houses, playing games, leaving them gifts (food, etc.); I think that would be an amazing addition to an already fantastic game if you were to implement something like that! Not bad. The general idea is not bad, everything works fine and the animation is cute and bright. Before adulthood, the tamagotchi can’t really do much except play games and change clothes. I would like to see adding friends as an upgrade (like connecting your virtual tamagotchi toys with your friends), and more things to do like a garden to grow, schools for the toddlers & teens, a dating show for the adults like the original toy etc. Right now my only motivation to play is to unlock all the characters but it becomes boring when all you do is log on to feed and clean it.

Nostalgic af!. Man this game brings me back to my childhood! It's got the combined element of caring for your tamagotchi and excitedly waiting for its growth, and contemporary versions of mini games that are super addictive! The tamagotchis are soooo cute as well. As with any free game you do have to watch videos here and there between actions and you're encouraged to buy gems, but if you don't mind that kind of thing I 100% recommend this game. The only thing I really wish they'd implement is the ability to have play dates with other players tamagotchis like you could do with the original toys

Amazing game!!!. I really love this game! Everything is so cute and creative and I really like the idea of turning an old toy/game into and app. The only this I would change is that you don’t earn enough coins. It is really easy to get carried away with spending coins and you hardly get a chance to earn them. And the only chances you get give you hardly any coins. Can you please change this in the next update to make this game even more enjoyable and addictive

The ads!!!. I miss how I use to have the tamagotchi everywhere I go and played back in the days This app is good but the ads is annoying me I hate it doesn’t make it enjoyable and plus what really annoys me is that the toddler hood when I take it outside and it starts jumping to the area I’m moving like the school or the diamonds it sounds like Asian moaning idk but it’s irritating and also I was asked if I was watching porn 🤦🏻‍♀️

Reliving the childhood. I love that you can have the options of playing the whole game for free without having to have to spend money. This game is adorable and the mini game is quite addictive, thankful the energy that gets used up stops me from playing the mini games 24/7. There is quite a number of ads but it doesn’t bother me, the one thing that bothers me is the app keeps crashing down when i’m either taking a photo of the characters for the album or when the ad had loaded half way. With the app constantly crashing down, its putting me off to continue to play and i have tried updating and even played on different phones. Still crashes. Please fix this bug. Thanks

Why I rated this game 👍. Hi this game is really good but I have some suggestions for improvement. So I had this game on my old phone and it took a long time to evolve but I got a new phone and downloaded this game again and it was a lot quicker to evolve. But this one day when it evolved again I got one that I already had and ever since then I keep getting doubles and I have tried everything to get one I don’t have but can you please tell me how I can get one I don’t have please 🙂 . But one thing I REALLY like is how you can now get daily rewards and get more than one reward that’s cool 😎 . Also the characters in the game are SOOOO cute I love them 😍🥰😍

Ads and confusing pop ups- but suitable for the average 4yo?. Frequent long and confusing ads shouldn’t be in games for young children, nor should purchase pop-ups. The ads are DELIBERATELY designed so that children click on them, but yet it’s rated for 4 year olds and over? Why would you give it an age rating of 4 years old+ (children) with no way to turn ads off? it’s wrong to subject kids to ads that can be clicked on luring them away from their game.

Good game. Really great game! It’s super cute and I love the animation along with the mini games! The only recommendation I have is to add maybe a gardening feature or just something to make the game a more long term enjoyment. Although fun it doesn’t have enough in it to make it fun for longer than a few days.

Pausing or taking a break.. I can’t find any type of pause feature. I have scoured the forums and nothing seems to be there. I have played continuously for months and unlocked every tama and need a break but don’t want to lose my data in case I want to return. Once an adult has been successfully sent to Tamatown, there should be a “break” or “pause” option. Now my only choice is to delete the app which means I’m less likely to remember to download it again. Great app that could be better through connectivity with others and/or world customisation. Annoying and intrusive ads. Difficult to bother with if you need a break for a day or so though.

Too many adds. The quality of the games makes the immense amount of ads SLIGHTLY more bearable but I still think the amount off ads in the game are ridiculous and should be compromised for better gameplay

Sawww Kawaii. Love this game! It respects the simplicity and original concept of the tamagotchi hand held devices with a modern reimagining utilising touch technology and more dimensions. The only issue is that I wish the tamagotchi’s were less high maintenance and that there is an online feature to interact with other players, challenge them in mini games etc.

Love everything!, but I wish I could discard food.. I love everything about this game, collecting new tamagotchis, taking them to the toilet and bathing them in the shower. Unfortunately, I wish I could discard unwanted food from the kitchen table. I believe that being able to discard food would be a great element for the game to have. What would be good is if you added another stage to the tamagotchi’s growth. For example, adding a child stage so that the tamagotchi’s growth would be more realistic, so it would go: Baby - Toddler - Child - Teen - Adult.

Addictive and nostalgic!. I downloaded this game about a week ago and I’ve loved every minute of it. Have to admit that it’s addicting. I also purchased the starter pack thing which was really good value. As a 20 year old this game makes me relive my childhood in a more updated form which I really love. I’ve gotten all my younger siblings hooked as well. I’m on to my second tamagotchi (Like that the don’t die and now just live their life in the town) and I can’t wait to unlock them all. I love that you don’t have to spend real money on it to enjoy the game but it does make it that bit more fun (love the X2 coins). Also the Match 3 mini game is my fav. The only recommendation is maybe implement a way to be friends with other players and send food or coins or compete in mini games, I think that would add even more fun :)

BRING BACK TAMATOWN YOU COWARDS. Even though I will continue to play this game it will never fill the void that T Tamatown left in my heart when it was deactivated. Please bring it back. What do I need to do? Start a kickstarter? Bc I will. Just for the love of God bring back Tamatown.

Fun and cute. Ruined by Ads. Loved it at first. Ads were few and short. Then they started getting longer and if you want to do anything you must watch an ad. And what pushed me over the edge was when I tapped to go home, a simple task, basically just opening up a menu and I was forced to watch an ad that basically never ended. Update to this. I paid to remove mandatory ads but they still pop up randomly. So one star for you and an uninstall.

Monthly premium feature is a bit rich. For $6.99 month. Just love the game and would love to unlock but paying monthly seems too much. Perhaps one time payment. I am a big kid at heart! Thanks for a fun app !

Nostalgic!. This game is absolutely so nostalgic to me. I think it is great you allow us to choose to watch free ads to get free coins/items rather than JUST using gems like many other games. Though, I have found that no matter what I do when I spin for freebies on the flower I am constantly only getting 100 free coins... I’m not sure if this is purposely done or not. But it would be nice to get something else other than just 100 coins. Also I wish there was a pause button. Whilst I understand this game is for children.... I am here, and I’m sure many others who play, easily are in their 20s (played the original back in 2004), I can’t always be checking the game every 5minutes when I’m at work or something! I’m sure kids can’t either when in school, so maybe a pause option would be effective? Thanks!

You don’t need to switch the tamagotchi. People keep on thinking that you have to switch tamagotchi. by the way you should love it because you can play with it and take care of it and for the final time you don’t need to switch the tamagotchi. And why do people think that.😕

So cute! with a variety of free features. I have been playing this game for more than a year and I still intend to play it daily. So many cute tamagotchis you can breed, interior items you can design with, clothing and mini games! This is perfect for (stressful) every day and you need a way to relax. Just watch, listen to, feed, bathe and toilet the tamagotchi and it soothes your stressed mind!

Excessive ads make it unplayable. I would enjoy ‘My Tamagotchi Forever’, but it is virtually impossible to play with the ridiculous amount of advertisements within the game. Watching ads for a free gift I can almost handle, but interrupting me with an ad mid-game or while I’m playing something in the arcade is just rude. I won’t be playing again until there are a less ads, it’s just annoying and not fun at all.

I rated it four stars. I rated it four stars. It’s a great game but the only thing i would change about the game is that your tamagotchi has to sleep for more than one hour and the problem with that is you can not play games if your tamagotchi is tied or sleepy unless you pay or watch an ad.

Fun, cute game. Quite a fun game that I’m enjoying playing along with my girlfriend, however after the recent update we are quite unhappy. There are already plenty of ads (which are mostly optional) but recently all of the daily prizes/gifts given out for watching videos are not at all worth it and needs to be changed to how it was, or at least make the purchasable items for inside the house (which don’t do anything besides how it looks) a lot cheaper as it’s so hard to afford now.

Eh. I grew up loving tamagotchi and I was so excited about the app, but really isn’t it a bit basic? I’m surprised it has taken this many years for a tamagotchi app in the first place and now that there is, its garbage. You lose energy really quickly, endless ads to do anything, ambiguous evolving strategy and pointless activities. I’m telling myself that it’s early days and that it will get better, but literally all I want is the exact same tamagotchi program in the 2000s but on my phone. No gimmicks please

Alright. Has the nolstagic characters but not the nolstagic games. I was hoping some of the games that used to be on the tamagotchi would be on this (like the flag one) but it’s not. It also has the tendency to feel like every other game like Talking Tom and that franchise, which I am not a big fan of. Overall, very appreciative of Bandai to bring Tamagotchi to IOS

Nice and cute but.... I like this game. A great boredom buster, very easy to use. However the most recent update has upset my apple cart - it takes FOREVER to get the happiness level up by patting now. I’ve also found that using the toilet doesn’t make their pooping level go to 100% after they’ve finished. It’ll go to about 70%, then raise itself when I’ve moved on to showering or eating, like it’s still pooping. These are small issues but are rather bothersome for me when I want to make my Tamagotchi happy so I think I won’t play anymore.

Disappointed. I understand the developer was going for a more modern version to keep up with changing demographics and what not but I was really hoping this app would be more like the traditional tamagotchi game, where you start with the babies and they get older and the same set up for caring for the tamagotchis. I can appreciate the effort put into the game and I’m sure it’s exactly what some people are looking for but it’s not for me.

Love this! 😍💕. Love this!! 💕 Takes me back to my childhood. Really addictive and incredibly cute!! The mini games inside are pretty entertaining too. Don’t like the advertising though and dislike the monthly subscription. I’d much rather buy the app once rather than pay monthly. 😕

Good game, a few ads. The game is fun, filled with nostalgia however its slightly confusing. The first tamagotchi you start with is just the tutorial and through looking at the other reviews that seemed to confuse people. People also are complaining about the ads, but its a free game and you mostly get ads just for doubling your money in game

Worst Game Ever. I am so sorry about what I am about to say, but it is the absolute worst game in the history of bad and totally and completely horrible games. You see, I have the best most perfect internet and yet I can not even get on the game. It looks so cute and friendly, but once I finally get onto the title screen it just kicks me off. In conclusion, I am not pleased with the games promised amazingness. In fact, the game was like 220 mega bites, and that is so much comparing to the amount of the game I have actually played. Please fix this!!

My tamagotchi data has been lost. So the game is really great and all unless you have more than one person playing on different devices that have the same Apple ID because then one of them will basically lose their tamagotchi as they override each other and while Facebook login is on the app, it is pointless as it doesn’t save your tamagotchi to your Facebook and doesn’t allow you to connect with friends (see what level they are at or anything etc).

Amazing game overall!. I have to say I really love this game. I love the character designs, the art style, the game dynamics etc. It’s so adorable and addictive, with great games. What I love the most, though, that really makes this game stand out, is there’s no ads — unless you want something in return. That being said, this game is entirely playable and enjoyable WITHOUT choosing ads, which at the most you might watch a 10 second ad to completely refill the Tamagotchi’s energy. This game is completely free of pop-up ads. On top of that, it’s very charming, I can’t get enough. My only critique is that the Band Practice mini-game is extremely laggy and it sounds… well, awful. I cannot listen to it, I mute the game. It’s kinda funny though, to be honest. I would love more clothing options as well! I recommend this game a lot! Edit: I was wrong, there ARE pop-up ads but they’re very short and bearable. I didn’t even notice them.

Entertaining and nostalgic. I used to play with Tamagotchi toys as a kid, and this game brings me back to those days. It comes with all the mini-games the old toys had, along with other arcade-style mini games in which you can earn coins. I also enjoy that there is always an option to watch an ad instead of using in-game currency. This game would be enjoyable for both kids and adults who grew up in the 90s/00s who are looking for a little taste of nostalgia! I hope you enjoy this game as much as I do!

Teacup Ride Glitch. Love the game so far but none of my tamagotchis are interacting with the teacup ride. I can’t complete some of the challenges because of it.

Great game but I have 1 suggestion. Really enjoying this game so far. Definitely worth a 5/5. My only suggestion would be to add iWatch feature – it would increase the nostalgia (tamagotchi on small screen) and I’m sure players would really appreciate it 🙏

Tamagotchi. I love this game. The characters are all adorable, and the costumes are so cute. One thing they could change tho is the Plant Hop mini game. Please add a life bar, like in the ice cream mini game. It is so annoying to have to watch an add every single time I mess up. Same for the library mini game. Overall tho, it’s an awesome game. Finally after all these years 😍. I have been waiting many years for a mobile version and it's finally here! I grew up with Tamagotchi's so to me this hits the spot. Maybe a day night cycle would be nice. Weather effects and music. I do agree on the voices though. They can get a bit annoying after a while. Not sure how long I'll stick around. Honestly doesn't seem like there's too much here. Biggest complaint is there voices are so annoying so I had to mute then once the tutorial was over. Aside from that this looks like another time waster that I'll probably play for a week at most.

And if you do not like the sounds they make, turn down your volume or mute it! I am taking a break from the rest of my apps, so I can play this 24/7. So you should definitely get this game! Please try it. Pretty good. First of all, it is NOT the original tamagotchi experience. It’s a tamagotchi game filled with classic mobile game features, so it’s can be complex and overwhelming at times. With that said, the game is still fun and the modern systems that were added are also fun even if they make the experience less authentic. The game is also not as aggressive with ads and microtransactions as other games, so that’s a plus for me.

Too Invasive Ad Support Policy. We don't mind ads, but we couldn't play without agreeing to get TARGETED ads from a pile of companies, with no opt out whatsoever. It's one thing to get ads, but the ability to choose what personal data may be used to do so is a staple, and a normal requirement online. They're taking advantage that the apps aren't as regulated, and the policy seems abusive instead of fair. It's too bad this doesn't fall under GPDR or this app would be outright illegal. Don't bother downloading it...

Fun, even for free. I got this game assuming I’d have some fun with it and eventually run into a pay wall, but honestly I get enough entertainment from it without paying anything. I’m not someone that spends a ton of time with the game, so I can’t speak for people that want to play it super often, but it lives up to what I personally think a tamagotchi should be. The mini games are fun, it’s exciting to collect new tamagotchis, and it’s not too difficult to get coins. If you’re someone that wants a tamagotchi just as a fun virtual pet to check in on every so often, I don’t think this app will disappoint you.

Needs help. We have all played tamagotchi as a kid, it was those little egg keychains you would put around your finger and never let go you would even sometimes want them to die to start over again (Am I the only one?). Well now it’s on your phone, something you also don’t let go of. This game is addictive like it always was, they upgraded amazingly . They have a cute little world to wonder in, food, arcade and you can see the family . Down side - gaining Coins are troublesome, you do have to spend real money on crystals after a while because you can’t get enough coins. There isn’t a lot to do in the arcade, maybe four games at most you can play and the hide and seek one isn’t worth your time. You also can’t switch from player to player to check up on the other Tamagotchi you have grown and taken care of . This is a new game after all so I am sure there is more updates and time putting into this but I still love the game and my little annoying Tamagotchis

Fun but not perfect. This game is a fun evolution of the original idea behind tamagotchi with updated graphics and a few new features. While I’d recommend it overall, there are a few issues that keep it from being a four or five star app. For one, earning adequate coins takes too much time and effort. Secondly, unlocking all the characters is also difficult and time consuming, as you often get repeats making you less likely to want to go through the same career training twice. Lastly, the most recent update thought it’d be cool to put an ad banner at the top of the screen where there previously wasn’t one, and it looks awful and is very distracting. This game had just enough ad space not to be too annoying and they ruined that with the banner.

I WANT A COMPANION APP FOR THE WATCH!. EVERYTHING about this app is soooo cute (please remove multiple tapping to make your Toma go to the bathroom, it’s yuck!!🤢)!!!! The overall style and design is adorable and the interface is clean and easy to use. I also like that a lot of the game is playable without any IAP. I personally spend more money on IAP when I don’t feel like I’m being strong armed into making them to enjoy or progress in the game (Im more likely to spend money to support out of appreciation). *TO THE DEVS* I think the only way this game could possibly be improved were if more characters were added and maybe some kind of decorating options were added for the Toma house interior.

Conflicted. I enjoy the game itself, it gives us big kids a nice nostalgic feeling and the game super cute. I noticed that as soon as I got the game how ever not even two minutes in the game completely crashed and closed out making me restart again. No biggie I thought maybe since I had another app opened my phone itself just didn’t enjoy that so it closed down the app. It going back in SEVERL times the game continued to crash. Overall it is a decent little game for those of us who remember clipping our little guys to our backpacks and key rings but if you’re very impatient this is not the game for you! Game alone with out the crashing I’d say it’s a solid three out of five stars. Could have more things to do but over all enjoyable

Good but not enough.. You see here there’s another game called Tamagotchi on app that used to be my favorite game but now is it got deleted I mean this game is still good like it’s just the other game that I used to play it’s just… A little better. This game is very fine too I mean you get to take care of virtual reality pets! I’m just sad at the other tamagotchi game got deleted. I still love this game! It’s like the same thing as the other tama game just a little different. It’s not my favorite it’s not like the other Tamagotchi game I used to play… but I still approve!

Awful update. I loved playing this game, but it hasn’t been the same since the update. My tamagotchi are taking forever to evolve (since the update kicked in, my tamagotchi has been stuck at the toddler stage) and it takes a long time to fill the happiness bar. Since I’ve already unlocked all the toddlers and most of the teens, the longer evolution times are frustrating since I want to more easily try to unlock new adults. This morning was the first time I’ve had an issue with the coin glitch; I tried to double my daily reward and the app froze and restarted, leaving me without my daily reward. I’m glad this app is being updated, but this current update was a step backwards.

Cute, but Limited. This is a cute game but it gets boring rather quickly. While it is fun to take care of your pet (feeding, bathing, etc), it does not take long before he tires out and has to go to bed. Not to mention, there is not much of a town to explore. All of the shops you can access while “exploring” can be accessed from your home. Additionally, the game feels very limited in the fact there really isn’t much to do aside from feeding or bathing your pet. I would love if the developers added more to the town so that you can interact with other Tamagatchis and explore more areas. Overall, it’s a cute game but I found myself getting bored within fifteen minutes of downloading the app.

Cuteness overload!. I really enjoy this game because it is very cute and simple. It’s a blast from the past and it’s not very time-consuming, it takes about two or three minutes to complete if you’re not playing the mini games to get your daily in. There are a lot of ads but I know that the game developers need to make money somehow since this is a newer game on the market. I usually game on my PlayStation 4 while checking into this application, I cannot afford to support the app so I won’t complain! 10/10 Developers!! Can’t wait to see what you will do with this game in the future!

I don’t really like it all to much. For some of the things, it cost a lot of diamonds like it can go as far as to being up to 100 diamonds, and some other things are like 70 diamonds it’s really hard to fill your Tamagotchi‘s photo album if they want you to buy things that’s 72 diamonds and some of the things cost a lot of money like I saw something that cost like 10,000 coins. also, I hate it how you can grow so attached to a Tamagotchi and when they evolve you can’t go back . So if you don’t have enough time To get 75 diamonds 10,000 coins and you’re gonna grow too attached to your Tamagotchi because they are really cuteAnd you can still see them around, but you can’t really you’re not in control of them, so play it if you want this is just my opinion

Amazing. But.... Me and my sister both play this and think it is really cute and fun! You raise tamagotchis and watch them do cute stuff. You can feed them, clean them, play mini games to boost there happiness and much more! The point of the game is to raise your Tamas and they grow and change, you can buy them outfits and keep them happy and healthy. I love the mini games and the style of the game. My only problem is that when your tamagotchi sleeps it takes a literal 3 hour nap and you have to pay gems to wake it up because it often times doesn’t give me the option of an ad. There is also a decent number of ads but I do not mind.

The only problem.... I like this game, however, there is one big problem. The problem is signing up. The only way you can sign up essentially is if you have a Facebook account. This is very stupid because I would like to spend money on my account but i don’t have Facebook or want a Facebook account. I would just spend some money on my account but I don’t feel safe doing that because there is no guarantee that’s I will keep it since it’s not bond to an account. I could just remove the game, download it again later and not have any data for the time or money spent. So although it’s a good game, having to have a Facebook account just so you can signup is an awful choice.

Only one thing— isn’t like the old school V3, V4, V5. make tamagotchis actually die! Makes me actually come back to the app more if when they called for me, it was a actual dire situation. They can live forever even if you don’t check on them. Other than that, they are so cute fun and better than the tamagotchis I knew! ALSO bring in features from the tamagotchis like the American V4, V4.5, V5 and Music Star etc. like jobs, schools and those mini games for skills and stuff. Go off and make this game awesome, it’s truly got potential right now it’s bland and a bit baby like. You “create” urgency surrounding this pet, but nothing for us to come back to. Give us more!!

Cool update, but SOOOOO many video ads!. The developer did a great job with this fun update, but I ended up deleting it after a week because I estimate I was spending 1/3 of time (or more!) waiting for video ads to finish then hunting for the X buttons to close them out. And I’m not talking about ads I opt to watch for in-game bonuses, I mean the ones which appear at random times for random reasons. It’s too much! Just stop! I’d happily pay $5 for an ad-free option, even if it still had the optional “watch an ad for bonus gift” stuff baked in. Also, it feels like a given that you should have the option to name your dudes. It would make them feel more personal Without the ability to do so, they’re generic. It’s as exciting as saying you raised “brown dog.”

Fun game. Fun game, but in the match 3 game, instead of adding the bonus points after each level it won’t affect the score. For example, I watched my bonus points add up to 3250 (or something like that) and then the level started back at 2750 (close to it). Now I wish I could see the in-game notifications more than once. When the app updates, the next time I open the app I’ll get to see the new update notifications, but I can’t find them again. I only get to read one of them before they disappear. Where can we find the tutorial in this new update?

More Characters!. I love this game, it definitely does bring me back. I've read some of the other reviews and I do agree with some of them. My only request is that we add more characters to the game! I like that the app already has pretty frequent updates. My all time favorite ever since Gen 3 or 4 was Mimitchi. I know that's an older character so I would understand if that character wasn't added but that doesn't mean you can't add characters like Makiko or Violetchi/Flowertchi. I'm so close to unlocking all of the characters so I don't wanna be bored the game just yet (:

Good game.. I like this game but I do have some things I would like you to change. I’d like if you could change some things. I would like if you could make more details. In the bedroom there could be more details. Like maybe there could be a dresser because you put on clothes sometimes and maybe a desk. And some other rooms could have more details. And I’d like if there could be more rooms. Maybe their could be a kitchen so your tomigochi could make food. There maybe could be a real dining room so you can have friends over. And another thing, I would like to be able to be whatever tomigochi you want. But other then all that stuff I love the game.

From a five to a four because it shouldn’t be about the money.. This Christmas theme cost a pretty penny. The only thing I didn’t buy was the stove in the kitchen. I didn’t like it enough to pay 119 gems. I didn’t care to much for the Halloween decor. I believe I only bought the pumpkin and the candle. This Christmas decor was really nice. I wish we were given the choice to use the rug throughout the house and not just the bathroom. I like the rug. So far I’ve already purchased two $1.99 bundles. I also pay for two monthly accounts. I was fine with those above purchases because there’s frequent updates. I however am not fine when I feel ‘nickeled and dimed’. As a Tamagotchi club member I got an extra gift under the advent tree. But I wish I’d also gotten the Santa hat if not for free at a reduced price. I don’t need the coins. Maybe that’s why I’m not wanting to purchase it. $3.99 for just a hat is silly. Making a game pay to play is one quick and sure way to get me to stop playing.

Cute. It’s a cute game and I really enjoyed playing it for the first few days. The thing is, they grow up too fast and I find that the challenges are rather boring. You have to spend huge amounts of tamagotchii money to buy a location (fountain, picnic area, etc) for a picture which has no other use ( seriously I wish I could use the location for something/ like new mini games, at least) and the when you unlock a costume you also have to buy it? What’s the reward then? They grow up so fast that buying them an outfit just doesn’t make sense. There should be other ways to earn money too. It gets boring playing the same thing over and over again to earn it.

Cute but not the best. Love this game, its has some very cute characters. I have a few things that should be fixed, the bonus points on match 3 get added up, but when i start the next round, it goes down drastically. For example, i had 1400 bonus points that were supposed to be added to my score of 3142, instead of it being a total of 4542, it ended up totaling to 3240. Another thing is doing other activities while it’s asleep, it automatically wakes up. Food is also incredibly expensive. 21 coins for a cucumber? And sometimes when i have an item outside that my scrapbook needs, it wont let my tamagotchi take that picture, even though its out.

Needs more work. This game is very fun, although I think it needs more work. I wanted to switch between tamagotchies, but it wouldn’t let me. You should have a button or something to switch between them. Also, you should add more things in town like a restaurant or cinema or even neighbors, wether real people or not real people. You need to add more things to your game. It would make the game so much more fun. All I do is just take pictures and play mini games. It is not really a fun game. If you want more people to play your game, add more things please. Overall, it is an alright game. It has a lot of potential, yet it is boring the more you play.

Good Pass-time, No complaints. This app is fun, but if you want an app that’s fast-pace you might not enjoy it. The game takes time which I like, you anticipate what your tamagotchi will become once it evolves. I like the fact that there are a lot of different types of tamagotchi that it can evolve into. There’s no telling what it will be unless you look up a way to get that evolution. I haven’t experienced any problems with the app and I’ve had it for roughly a week. If I do I’ll update my review. This game is amazing and you can tell the developer(s) work really hard.

Ads are scams. My review of the game is below, but mostly I just want to WARN people about the ads. Normally I don’t click on the ads, but two in particular drew me in and I didn’t do my homework before making purchases. DON’T order from STRTIFE or POPSTEVIE!!! You’ll lose your money and there’s no customer service. I’m guessing a lot of their ads are like that, I think the owners should start vetting who they’re accepting ads from. I’m enjoying this game ok, although every time I complete a full evolution cycle, the next one seems to take even longer to go through each of the stages. I also don’t understand the evolution because I just got a character that loves seafood, but I never fed it any piece of seafood.

Needs fixes and other implements. I am a fan of Tamagotchi since when I played the cd-rom version. For this game, there are several things that this game need to implement. For example, checking what tamagotchis you got and checking what upcoming user levels has to offer will not wake tamagotchi up automatically unless other functions on the bottom section are selected. The other feature that needs to be implemented is to check which tamagotchi I own will evolve into. I know it will ruin the fun for spoiling, but aren’t you curious about what it will turn into? I also am not sure if neglecting tamagotchi and not taking care of it will make it die (or flee). There should be an FAQ section for that. Currently my game is stuck because the game crash during the evolution process and now I cannot proceed to the next tamagotchi. The recent update did not fix this issue. I hope before I reach level 36 this glitch will be fixed.

Major flaws but overall well done. Okay SO I absolutely love the nostalgia of this app. I adored my tamagotchi’s as a kid so I was very excited when I heard they were making an app and I got it as soon as I heard it was out!! BUT the micro purchases are quite annoying. It’s frustrating because I really do enjoy the app other than this ANNOYING flaw. For example, your tamagotchis will always want things that you can’t buy until you’ve leveled up considerably. And the only way to satisfy them is to pay for the money item in these purple “diamonds” and they (for the most part) cost REAL MONEY!! And they want 300 of them?? UH NOPE!! I already bought the $5 beginners package. What more do you want from me?? I would MUCH rather pay a set price for the app in the beginning just to have limited micro purchases. I don’t even mind adds. But I shouldn’t have to lay down $20 every time my tamagotchi wants a toy!!

I used to love this game but…. I had this game back in 2019 and I would play it every morning before class, it’s definitely a game to play to kill time but not really all day. Anyways I deleted it on my iPad and totally forgot about redownloading it on my phone until today. But I can’t get passed the loading screen :( it says it found my cloud data so I can pick right back up where I started. But I won’t let me click it and it keeps closing out. Please fix it😭 I love this game!!! I’m at level 55, I put too much time Into it to just walk away

Lovely but it’s missing something. I loved playing Tamagotchi when I was a kid and this brings back those wonderful memories. My most favorite version was the V3 where you could connect online to Tamatown. I feel like that’s what’s is missing here. I want to be able to travel with my Tamagotchi and send them to school as a kid and work on their skills individually. I would love having them pair up as adults to have another baby that way instead of a new egg just appearing out of the blue. I also want it to be in sync with our time. I would gladly pay for it to be just like the older models but with a modern twist. It’s a wonderful game overall but it is missing these few key elements that made Tamagotchi, Tamagotchi.

Please Help Me.. First of let me start by saying that I love this game and it has been an amazing pastime for me. Unfortunately for the last 2-3 days when I open the app, the game will not load. It stays frozen on the main Paige, where it says Tamagotchi and all the different different tamagotchis. I’ve restarted my phone, double checked my phone storage and I just tried to make an account to email tech support, but the USA isn’t a country you listed. So I’m so confused! Are you able to help me????🎉🎊🎊

Nostalgia. This game reminds me of the old toys from my childhood. I'm happy to see this here. But I must ask about the fact that it seems to not have a reset button like said toys, or any instructions on getting new eggs. I'm only curious cause I'm not always available to care for these creatures and I'm hopeful there's a way to refresh. This coming from someone who doesn't like to wait for days to see a virtual pet grow up. I do otherwise love this game!! Please either tell me what to do or perhaps edit it to include that reset. The other tamagotchi type apps I've played all do. Thanks! :)

This game is amazing just one thing. I love this game , it’s very heartwarming to hear their little cry’s and noises and when you pet them is very soothing to me, I have a tamagotchi already , but it’s a little hard , no judgement . There is some things I would like to add to this game though to make it more “ Tamagotchi” style or something •Marriage. marriage was a big role in tamagotchi . It let you move onto the next generation. All this game is , really, is you complete their career then take a CuTEeE Photo , then a egg pops out of nowhere. Adding this would help this game not be like any simulator like talking Tom, they are very similar. •Minigames that ARE NOT based off of other games , like fruit slice is BASIcLY like Fruit ninja or whatever it’s called. Please try to make up more games than planet hop and such ok? I love this game , those are some suggestions. If a devolper reads this . I love this game. Thank you . Make it more interesting. I think this has a lot of potential and I’m so excited that this is being brought back so that we can play one of our favorite childhood games again. With that being said, I feel like if this game was catered to older kids as well as young ones, adults would have more fun with it. Because I feel like this was made for very young children which is nice but there a whole generation of adults that grew up with tamagotchis and asking for this to be an adult game is a lot to ask so I’ll settle for older kids. For example; more games, more places to take your tamagotchi, and more things you can buy for it than a handful of outfits and food. I would really really love to see this game become better and more inclusive of everyone!!

Could be a little better. I love the 3D adaptation of the tamagotchis, I still have some original tamagotchis that still work; it's super nostalgic seeing some of the lil dudes from all generations of the original game keychains. The two things that could be improved are the toilet thing, it's mildly disturbing that you have to help your Tama poo, and it just looks disgusting watching the toilet water splash all over after they're finished; and the other is the ads, particularly the gardenscapes ads. They cause the entire game to freeze, and a lot of times I have to force stop the app and lose out on whatever rewards I was spinning for

Love it.. I’ve played dozens of different games where you take care of pets or other little creatures, and I have to say that this is by far the best yet. I’ve been playing it for days, whereas with the other apps I take care of them for about two days and then get bored. This game, however, is quite enjoyable. It’s both quick and easy to take care of your tamagotchi’s needs, which makes it hard to get tired of. I also really like the cute little tamagotchis. Although, I never did have an original tamagotchi, so I can’t comment much on that. All I know is that I’m super happy with my experience with this app. 💛💛

All but one. Fix it to get 5 stars!. This reminds me of my childhood, with some added bonuses. I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks now and I’m still not bored with it. I have found a couple issues, that are just super annoying so maybe the developers will see this and fix it. The whole picture thing to collect pages and prizes…I have ran into a few characters that want to ridge their picture taken on something, but it won’t let them go on it. It they continue to ask for it. I won’t be able to complete the game if this isn’t fixed.

Great game, but a few glitches.. For anyone looking at this game, I totally recommend it. The gameplay is fun and addictive. There are a few glitches that I’ve noticed over the three months of playing it though. Don’t get me wrong I love this game, my only problems with it have to do with the spin flower and the bathtub. The spin flower, the wheel of prizes in the game, is always way too predictable. You always land on the prizes to the immediate left and right of the one you started at. With the bathtub, it’s just a graphics glitch that bugs me, but the water from the shower head goes through the wall of the tub! Other than those two minor bugs, I think it’s my favorite game.

It’s not the game…. See, this game by all means is an amazing game and it keeps me entertained when im bored. But when I watch an ad for the prize box thing it takes me to this thing that said, “Tap here to support (I can’t remember the rest)” and there’s no close out button or timer :( then it just doesn’t give me another box when I reset which isn’t very fair. Then if I want to restart on a mini game, it gives me the same ad and I can’t restart and my coins/score isn’t saved. I hope this ad permanently stops. This game doesn’t deserve a 1 star so it pains me to give it this rating. Once it’s fixed, I will rate it a 5 star. Thanks 😊 (By the way, it isn’t giving me the ability to watch ads for anything anymore after that one ad 😬)

In love with this game!!. I ABSOLUTELY love this game! I’ve been playing for like a year and I’m on level 97! Haha I’ve never had issues with it until recently. Every time I load up the app it stops at the loading screen and won’t open up further to my tamagotchi. I’ve deleted and redownloaded. I’ve cleared off the app and reopened it. I’ve done what usually always works and it won’t budge. It signs me in and then freezes. Please help! I really love this game and want to make it to the last level! Lol

How?. How do I fulfill a wish from Tamatown? I love the game, but I’m stuck on the screen. There are no instructions and I want to know. Edit: I found a way, I just had to restart the app. I popped the balloon because it was not working, but now, I selected the vintage tv and it keeps pointing me to click on the select it even though I already selected it. Please fix this and I restarted the app many times. Perhaps reply to this review. 2nd Edit: So after editing the review and coming back, it started working again. It’s like every single time I make an edit to this review, things start working again.

Really enjoying, but.... I really like this game, it’s one of the few hella-levels games that I have actually kept on playing. However after this new update I’m getting a bit annoyed. I used to get lots of gems and not enough coins to buy things, but now I can’t seem to get enough gems to buy things yet I have 50,000 coins. And I can’t even buy things because it either can’t be unlocked for another five levels or the item costs gems which I don’t have enough of. Maybe more opportunities for gems could be given, like special levels in the games or a reciprocated trade value from coins to gems like how gems can be used in place of coins. Idk I really like this game but it’s getting a little slow lately.

Fun and slow progressing game. I’ve been casually playing this game for a few months now and I’ve noticed that it’s quite fast paced early on, but once you get most of the characters unlocked, it’s pretty slow to try to get the coins so you can purchase more features in town. There also appears to be a bug in the match 3 mini game. If you complete a level with moves left, the extra points may appear to be added to your score (with the score going higher and higher) but the bonus score is seemingly gone after the next level loads and instead the previously higher score drops to the original score (no bonus score). Please confirm if this is intentional or bug and please fix if it’s a bug.

Really fun!. I’ve probably been playing for 6 months or more now, got to level 96 and now have every single tamagotchi, I really love that it keeps you playing nowadays by having the incentive of completing everything, such as completing careers, feeding your adults at their apartments, buying outfits, furniture, or collecting cards at the tama academy. you’re pretty much never done with the game even though it can be seem as if things are going quickly, there’s much to do. sadly i love this game so much, and i wish it would recieve more recognition and love… so we could see more future updates. we need more to collect!

Cash grab.... It’s come along a bit since it’s release, by adding a couple more games and several new evolutions, but it’s still missing major points of Tamagotchis... I figured I’d spend $5 on the x2 coins in arcade right when it came out to show some support, but unlike many games where any purchase enables “ad-free” play, this game added a premium subscription to enable you to avoid the video ads it “encourages” you to watch in order to make decent progress in mini games or daily gifts... With this taken into account, it really makes it look like they did as little as they could to evoke nostalgia on old fans while bringing a new crowd with the 3D models, but aren’t really wanting to make it good or fun... Maybe at some point they’ll learn and make it nice...

Awesome Game. Since I’m an ‘00s kid, I never had the original tamagotchi, but I had heard stories about them... especially about them dying. I came across this app and decided to try out the tamagotchi experience. It’s a surprisingly good game! Usually, I don’t keep apps for more than 2 weeks before deleting them, but I’ve had this one for 17 days now and I’m still enjoying it! The tamagotchis are cute, they can be cared for and grow, the mini games are actually fun (and I usually hate mini games), and they don’t die! Yesterday, I decided to join the Tamaclub. Considering I rarely make in-app purchases, that’s saying a lot! I’m currently raising my 3rd tamagotchi and I hope to raise many more!

Im impressed how your Tamagachi talks from your notifications box telling you what it needs BUT.. i spent all my gems on Ice cream scoop game and i need another way to collect them so if you would stop to read my suggestion its very helpful and where do I finish my career for my Adult Tamagachi? And make more outfits and Tamagachis and im suggesting a Axolotl Tamagachi named after my almost gonna be here pet axolotl Axilotl (lotl not included irl or in-game) and im loving the game! I want more prizes like a new game on the prize wheel or maybe an outfit for any Tamagachi like an onsie or a unicorn bed or anything like that. bey!

Poorly optimized. The minigames rely on careful timing but they stutter and lose frames while you're playing so you can't get the timing right because the timing changes in buggy ways. For example in layer cake the slice moves at a constant rate and you need to time it when it aligns, but the game plays an animation saying "perfect" which often causes the whole game to stutter making the movement unpredictable. Also, sometimes the character is outside and thinking of a particular activity they want to interact with, but even though you have that activity placed, the option to take a picture doesn't show up so you can't complete their pages. I paid for the game and I regret it because more than half the time that I lose a game it's because of the timing glitches.

Pretty fun.. I used to love my tamagotchi when I was a kid. I had one of the V4 connections and spent hours playing with it or just staring at it to be sure it hadn’t died. This game is kind of fun but doesn’t scratch that same itch that the old handhelds used to. There’s too many ads. And I know they’re all optional, watch this ad to continue your mini game, or double your coins, win a free gift, but god they’re just so annoying. I’m sure this generation will adore this app like I used to adore my tamagotchi, but it’s just not for me. Great for what it is, but not what I’m looking for. Honestly I’m just gonna hop on eBay and buy a new tamagotchi. Get that nostalgia trip I’m looking for.

Add More Things Please~. I think this a really cute game to play! The characters are so cute I can’t wait to get more. My only concern is that it seems a little bit empty. I mean there’s the basics of bathroom time, bath time, eating time, clothes and games; if there could be more things added to it? Maybe like add in some more fun stuff like the little cute characters cooking for themselves to eat so they could make better achievements and level up to maturity? Instead of buying and eating it’s kind of too simple. Or maybe like some “sports training” like someone said on the reviews here. Or even like their health system and etc. I think if there were more fun things added then this game will probably be a really fun and great game, and I would be more likely to come back often to the game!

Same characters. I love the game. I really do. It’s so cute and I love that they have careers and grow up and everything, but I don’t like that I’ve already taken care of a adult tamogotchi, and when it’s time to take care of another adult, I’m thinking that I’m getting a new character... but I get the same one 😐 I wouldn’t mind it if I’ve already unlocked all the other tamagotchi characters, but I didn’t, which makes it frustrating because a repeat of a character shouldn’t be made until I’ve unlocked all the characters there is to take care of. But other than that, I love taking care of my tamagotchi and playing their little games, feeding them, making them happy, watching them sleep- it’s just so cute. But please fix the repeat of characters. Thanks!

There’s a glitch. I love playing this game however I can’t continue playing until the glitch is fixed. I have a tamagotchi who is now an adult and every aspect of their career is complete besides purchasing the costume. I cannot purchase is it with the coins 1) because every time I launch the clothing store it never works 2) the career is Iocked because I need to take pictures. I cannot capture pictures of the character im using because it says I still haven’t unlocked the character IM USING which is impossible. It’s been like this for a month now and I would really love to continue playing. Please fix this

A cute and relaxing trip down Memory Lane. If you ever played with the old Tamagotchi eggs as a kid in the 90s and early 2000s, you’ll remember how addicting and gratifying raising these little Tamagotchis can be! This app is a modern version that hits most of the old buttons in you heart with the addition of some new features like Tamatown, careers and fun little mini-games and new graphics. Super fun for old players wanting a nostalgic and relaxing app, and great for new players alike. I can see kids really getting into this! Great app for all ages. My one issue is that a lot of the old features are missing such as illnesses, death, gifts, etc. if they add in those features as the game develops this app could be fantastic.
