Works better than the harmony app. The official Harmony app is unintuitive and seems to never be connected. This app connects within seconds and the controls are right where they should be. The watch app is great. Works just as it should. Maybe Logitech should contact this developer and offer him/her a job or at least money to fix their app. The only thing that would be nice is a widget, that way you wouldn’t need the official Harmony app at all other than for settings/device management.

MS. Worked great at first. Now it won’t connect to hub. If it does, limited function.

Only up from here!!. As mentioned having a way to choose between buns would be great. This app is awesome and elegant!

Watch app bad. Was hoping to start my activities from my watch WITHOUT my phone. App development just isn’t there yet. Like everyone else it just shows”connecting” and the crashes. Tool me a few minutes just to force quit the watch app.

Where have you been all my life?. I’ve been working for awhile to get Harmony Hub to work with Siri. I was using Yonomi, but ran across this app. It’s amazing how easy and intuitive it is. Within minutes I had all my activities and devices set up with Siri. With the HomePod, I can just Hey Siri my Dish DVR to my favorite channel, pause/play live tv, and change volume all without ever touching my remote. Awesome, awesome app. Can’t wait for updates and increased functions I can add to Siri shortcuts.

Won’t connect. This app is crap. I paid $3 for it and it won’t connect. Doesn’t even have UI to allow me to tweak settings. At least not inthe one screen it lets me into. Save your money.

Worst app ever!. I reserve the right to trash this buggy app because I had to shell out $3 for it. I hardly ever have to pay for an app, but when I do, I EXPECT IT TO WORK. Any time I make settings changes, the stupid app crashes. It stopped connecting to my hub after the very first time I left my house. Nice! Oh, and I tried to click “app support”, but that redirected me to. PHONY prize center where they told me I won a $1000 Amazon gift card. Nice scheme you got here. Make people pay $3 for your crappy app, then scheme then into signing up for 2 silver , 2 gold, and 8 platinum contest packages. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you go broke for the holidays!!! (This is all absolutely TRUE—I guess don’t like being scammed)

Not quite perfect but can be good. Worked well at start. Had issues for a while where it cycled of connecting to the hub and basically didn’t work. I deleted the app, restarted watch, reinstalled app on phone and is working good again. So we will see if it stays stable. Great when it works.

Harmony Watch fails. Doesn’t work

Works. It works as advertised but id love to be able to have the device menu to select what to control instead of just activities.

Harmony Apple Watch remote app. Works mostly ok but sometimes there is a several second delay after pressing a button before it takes effect. Quite annoying

Control Logitech Harmony system with customized Siri commands!. Long story short, the title says it. "Hey Siri, watch TV in living room" triggers my Harmony remote activity, then can use other Siri commands to mute, skip, turn off etc. Also, don't be fooled by the name of the app, these Siri commands, whole incredibly cool to use with Apple Watch, will also work with any iOS device too! The developer could use some help with the cosmetics but the functionality is superb

Does not work at all. The app immediately fails to connect to my Harmony hub as soon as the app starts up. Refreshing it fails also. It pops up asking if I want to manually enter the hub’s IP address, which I do, and it still fails. Unfortunately, the app is useless.

Stopped working after update. Not sure what happened but it stopped working completely. Garbage. Please update.

Update Faulty. This doesn’t connect at all with the new update. Can’t find hub

Now works very well!. I’ve had this app for a very long time (probably the first version) and it’s gone thru some growing pains for sure, but this latest release is working very well. If you’re having problems, a re-install will probably fix those. I’ve contacted the developer several times and always found him to be very responsive and very helpful.

Don’t waste your money!. Connected once to my hub and then never again. Developers should be forced to refund you your money and take down their apps when they do not perform the service you have paid for them to do!

Doesn’t work. Won’t pick up the hubs IP address. Searches and then crashes. Entering the IP address manually produces the same result.

Useless. Most times doesn’t work. Phone app works mostly but the watch app doesn’t work 8 out of 10 times i try, pretty useless. Wifi is no issue because all my gears are in my living room close to each other.

App works kinda. No support from app developer. It controls the harmony hub occasionally. I got the Siri commands to work which is great and then the watch just never stays connected to the hub. The iphone app does, but not watch. and when you try to contact the developer the page takes you to a redirect pop up nightmare. Good Luck

Constantly improving!. I have been using this application for a while now. I was reasonably satisfied when I first started using it.I signed up for early access so I could provide feedback on features I thought needed improvement. The developer definitely takes feedback into account, and really surpassed my expectations. At this point in time, the iPhone app is by leaps and bounds better, easier to use than the native Logitech Harmony application. The application on my Apple Watch is also even better than when I first started using it, more responsive, easier to use. Next up? Siri shortcuts on my Apple Watch, please! I love them on the iPhone…

The basics seem to work. But it really needs a way to change hubs from the watch itself. Right now you can only switch hubs from the phone.

Working great!. Just purchased this app since Logitech is too lazy to add this to their harmony app. I’m very happy with this! It’s working great to start/stop activities. Couple of requests: - add in the harmony sleep timer function! Harmony phone app allows me to set a timer that powers off ALL of my devices. Would be great in this watch app. - better sync of activities status. There seems to be quite a delay as of now. - allow me to change color scheme. Love the dark background, but the blue is too neon for me! :) Thanks!

Stays in “connecting” state. As mentioned in another review, the Watch app just says “connecting. Activation state: active” and won’t work, even when killing and restarting (their includes iPhone app works OK). App developer please contact me if you can help resolve.

Works but has ton of flaws.. My problem is that for some odd reason if you leave the house and come back. You have to use iPhone app to make the watch app work. If you hit pause on watch it won't work until you open your phone and hit pause then the watch app works. Also there can be a few second delay. I really got this to pause or mute the tv. I will occasionally change channels with the watch

A good replacement for the Yonomi app. This HarmonyWatch app creates Siri shortcuts to allow Siri to run Harmony Hub activities. I’m writing this review after Logitech shut down support for the Harmony Hub, and I’m here to tell you this works! I’ve been using the Yonomi app to allow Siri to control the Harmony Hub, but the Yonomi app has also been discontinued. The only other option I’ve found is to use a home automation server such as Home Assistant, but I don’t want to run a home automation server on my Mac 24/7 (or any other device). This app requires your iPhone to be connected to your WiFi network in order to operate, so there’s no remote operation through the Internet, just FYI. I don’t need this ability so it’s not an issue for me. The only con to this app is that after I use my HomePod to ask Siri to run the Harmony Hub activity, she says “You need to continue on the companion device”. You don’t, of course, but it is a small annoyance to hear Siri say this every time you run a shortcut. That said, I’m very happy to be able to control my Harmony Hub with Siri again! Now that Logitech has discontinued the Harmony Hub, who knows how long it will continue working or be usable? For $3 this app is a great value! When and if this app or the hub ever stops working, consider getting the Nature Remo Nano to replace the Harmony Hub. It’s the first smart IR blaster that is also Homekit compatible to be made. Right now it’s only available in Japan, but I’d guess it will be available in the U.S. within the next year.

Should have listened doesn't work on watch. The buttons simply don't respond on watch. Occasionally one in dozens seems to work but 99.999% nothing

Just what I was looking for.. So far it works great. Put all my remotes in a drawer and just use my watch. Don’t have to look for remotes any more. Have a 16 month old grandson who loves pressing buttons and taking them.

Getting there. Yay, can pick a hub now! Controls are slow to react and sometimes don’t work at all, though. Don’t turn the volume knob too far, or you may regret it ten seconds later.

Very nice app. The apps connects to my hubs really quickly, it’s amazing. It does almost everything that I would want. A suggestion to the developer would be an option to add a volume level up/down a number like “+10”. Right now, my volume only goes up .5 which makes it unusable to keep asking Siri 20 times in order to raise the volume up 10 increments. Other than that, it’s been flawless.

Great app!. This works great with my Harmony hub! The app has worked perfectly for hours, with no problems connecting to hub. The layout is useful and the controls are handy. I have this app in my dock. It's very refined and definitely worth the small price.

Doesn’t always work.. Doesn’t always work. Also, needs a way to pick which harmony hub if you have more than one on your house. I have two in my house and there is no way to tell the watch which one you want to control.

Excellent Harmony Apple Watch Remote App. This app does what you wish the official Harmony app would; it allows you to control your Harmony activities and setup devices on your Apple Watch. It’s definitely worth the small asking price. The developer has been fixing slight issues every month or so and now has a polished app. The volume latency has been solved as they have made it less of a drastic change when using the crown. They’ve also added volume up and down buttons for incremental changes (great improvement!) for those who don’t like the crown control. [strikethrough] At this point, the only thing I would want fixed is have it auto connect on opening. As of now it waits for the user to tap the screen to connect which is an extra step that is unnecessary. Great UI feedback on the thinking/working logo on connecting by the way, dev. [/strikethrough] [Update] Dev fixed the above! Siri shortcuts were also added which is fantastic. It works wonderfully on the watch to tell Siri to turn the Apple TV on or pause it, etc. Again, this is functionality Logi should have updated their Harmony app with. This dev is doing God’s work folks. Overall it’s well worth buying if you have an Apple Watch and you’ve ever wished your Harmony app would work with it.

Doesn’t work. This app was made for the Apple Watch, yet it works on my iPhone and not on the Apple Watch. I will be calling in for a refund this weekend. Truly unacceptable!

Half works. Can’t end an activity. App will start but not stop an activity. Not very useful and a waste of money. Attempted to contact the author for help and received nothing. What a waste.

Good but needs polishing. Good to have but needs a few things improved. Volume/channel screen should be simplified to only five functions - vol up and down - channel up and down- and mute. Would make using much easier. TV icon should be changed from movie to TV. Still overall good to have on the watch.

Never connects. This app never can connect to my harmony hubs, even after specifying the IP address of the hub. There went $3 down the drain.

It works once, then is never connects. This app could be amazing. But after a fresh install, it will work one time, and then after the screen turns off, it never works again. It just gives you he ring, searching for the hub. Really frustrated since it seemed to work better before I updated the OS and app. I’m on iOS 11.4, super frustrating.

When it works, it works well. When it doesn't, it is annoying.. I’m going to keep this short and simple. Pro: When this app works it works like a champ. The only reason I use this app is because there is no competition. Con: Buttons are unresponsive. Apple watch app and phone app disconnect from the hub regularly. This usually happens after a power outage or resetting the router. When it Disconnects from the hub it doesn’t reconnect and you can’t manually put in your IP address because that makes the iPhone app crash. After that happens, you are forced to delete both apps so you can redownload both which temporarly fixes the issue.

Does not work. I figured $3 was a reasonable price for an app that would allow some basic Siri control of my Harmony Hub. Instead I paid $3 for and app that does nothing 90% of the time. Even when using the app directly on my iPhone (not Siri or my watch).

Watch App. The watch app does not work at all. Not very happy. I want a refund.

Stopped connecting. It was a nice app with a compact UI, what the Harmony app *should* be. Then it stopped connecting to the Harmony Hub. Scanning for the hub fails to find it, and attempts to connect by IP address fail, too. This is not the first review to cite this problem. In response to other reviews the developer has asked affected users to send e-mail describing in what way the app doesn't work. I have just done so here. I have no more information to provide by e-mail.

Works well. Results depend on your Wi-Fi. It’s not the app, it’s your Wi-Fi coverage that matters. TPlink full house MESH / Deco network let’s this app work well with Harmony Home Ultimate (two hubs and theaters) and iWatch5. Big area but the network is fast and robust build out. I know my stuff so get this app. Enjoying it all over.

Crashes!! Does not work!. I want my money back! This app doesn’t even work on my watch...once I open the app it just says “connecting” and then crashes! This happens every single time! Do not spend your money! And how do I get mine back?

So Far Working Great!. Works great as a standalone iPhone app I don’t even use the Harmony App anymore. While skeptical about the watch functions it works great. As was mentioned some adjustments on the volume would be great, on the watch it’s almost too sensitive.

Shortcuts don’t work on iOS 13. Controls the harmony hub fine from within the app but doesn’t work with a shortcuts on iOS 13.

Can't find hub, crashes when entering manual IP. This app worked on the watch and the associated phone app about a year ago. But one of the iOS or watchOS updates appeared to have killed it. It cannot find my Harmony hub (though it used to be able to). Entering the IP address of the hub manually (which should in principle permit the watch app to connect) crashes the iPhone app.

Impressed. Works fine, slightly delayed compared to the iPhone app. Doesn’t have devices menu though. Please add devices option. Otherwise, very happy so far.

Works fine. I was reluctant to buy the app but it works fine. I made sure the Logitech Harmony app was working OK first. Then installed the app on my iPhone (iOS 14.6). At first it couldn’t find the hum but pressed the refresh button and it all popped up. Works fine. The 1 star critics should check if their native Harmony app works first and update to the latest iOS.

Does NOT WORK. Don’t bother it doesn’t work at all. Every time I try to open the app on my watch I get an error message. Despite having contacted the developer a number of weeks ago and his last email indicating that he would get around to fixing “in the coming week” it’s a number of weeks later and no further communications from him and nothing has changed - jus one useless error message :(

Developer is responsive. Despite other negative reviews, I have found he is very responsive. And was willing to push TestFlight builds based on my feedback and feature requests. App now works fine with my harmony hub. No setup required. Automatically detects device on the same wifi network.

Jim. After an initial complaint regarding wifi connectivity I was able to address it. Using the Harmony app on the iphone. I have 2 hubs, I checked the router for the ip addresses. Noted that they were wrong in Har app. Did a rescan, addresses found. App works on watch!! I set the up addresses to static in router. Now works every time. I swap hubs on iPhone app. Just wish I could adjust haptics on the watch in the app for the keys. Sound + has a tone, all other keys do not. Cannot find a settings for that. Jim

Connecting to hub. It seems impossible to connect to any hub either on this app or on the watch. Pure garbage. I think the morons don’t even read the reviews.

Good, but could be great. I should have read description better. It does what it says, but would be much more useful with direction arrows or D pad. I know screen space is an issue on the watch but user could slide over to another screen with D pad. Guide button would be handy too. The ultimate would be to allow user to custom add buttons they want, 5+ stars if that was done. UPDATE: Developer added lots of new commands. Even better now!

Really fills a need. I just downloaded the app and I really like it. I used to rely on IFTTT/Webhooks to control my harmony hub with Siri. Much simpler with this app…. Plus, I can control my receiver with my Watch… Awesome ! Little bug… In the Watch app, when I want to use the scroll wheel to change the volume (excellent idea by the way), I have to go back to the main screen for it to work again. Thanks for this app!

Good but last update broke. The last update made the Apple Watch app not work all the time. It randomly will work but hasn’t for a few days now. Hopefully they will get a fix out soon.

Can't switch Harmony hub. This app would have been great if could switch the Harmony hub that it's connected to.

Works perfectly. The application works perfectly on my Apple Watch Series 4. It is definitely worth it. It would be awesome if it would be optimized for the big screen of the Apple Watch Series 4. It still works perfectly though.

Not working. 4$ just went down the drain. It doesn’t see any of my three hubs... when I input manual IP address, the app suddenly closes. That’s the extent of what i was able to do with the app.

Got it to work!. I initially had problems getting the app to connect to my hub. I emailed the developer and he put in a good effort to diagnose my problems, and even sent me a diagnostic program that ran on my Mac! I remained stuck until I upgraded my Asus router to another brand (now Eero) and found that while I thought my Hub was on the network, it actually wasn’t. It turns out that even though you need WiFi to set up a Harmony Hub, it will work after that wirelessly without the network. All the while, the standard Harmony app apparently looks like it’s connected. Who knew? My apologies to the developer! Glad to have it working on my phone and my watch now!

Stopped connecting. Same thing happened to me that happened to the other reviewer. The app won’t connect to the hub anymore so it just doesn’t work at all. Don’t buy until they fix this critical bug.

Works good. It need a “.” On the number pad so you can change Chanels on over the air broadcast

Love this!. I’ve had my harmony home hub for a year and didn’t think it could get any better; control my tv, roku, dvd player with one remote AND be able to link it to my amazon echo. But I just got an apple watch 3 for Christmas and found this app for my watch. It works like a charm, all the features from my harmony remote right there on my wrist. I am super excited about it. I feel like Jane Jetson (for those old enough to remember the Jetsons). Thank you!!!!

Glad I found it. Overall I’m pretty pleased. Basic controls like channels, volume, ffwd, rev, and pause work great, however key buttons for my TiVo are missing. Can’t toggle tuners via live TV button and can’t easily switch to DVR mode by hitting TiVo support button. I was torn between 3 and 4. I ultimately gave it a 4 stars because of price. If you have a Harmony hub I would definitely recommend purchase. Hopefully a few more tweaks and I can give it 5 stars.
