Not very good so far. Well got this today and so far this is not working for crap not blocking unknown calls letting scammers and teller marketing slide on through talk about some bs they have one more day to get this right if not taking premium money back and canceling this crap. Well it’s been a month or so and it still don’t block any of the unknown or telemarketing much less spam/robotic calls I have to continue putting these in blacklist category to even stop them and if there is no # to put with this what good is it going to anybody so I do not recommend this app it’s just a scam it’s now October still useless still getting a it of crappy calls and this has done nothing

Useless. First of all, this app does not block spam and robo calls. All it does is present an icon under the number that when pressed presumably should link to the app but does nothing. When you open the app to check a number, you have to wait for an excruciatingly long time as the database loads, which lists numbers that don't apply to your inquiry. I'm sure this is helpful to some based on the reviews but I just want to identify the calls I get.

Getting more spam calls since the update - fixed!. Update: Developer contacted me and explained issue. Had to uninstall and reinstall app then change some settings on my phone. Working great now! Wish it hadn’t taken a work around to get to to install and work in the first place, from what I understand is is an iOS issue though, not a problem directly the app. Original review: Since the major update the database will not sync and I am getting more spam calls and texts

Doesn’t work. It’s been installed for a few days, still receiving crap calls. Was supposed to download database but download takes forever and then stops at 99%. Waiting for customer service to do something. Update: contacted customer service again, again no response. Be very careful with these people. They are scammers if you need help they are not available. Be sure to cancel before your trial ends. Update-calls still coming in after several weeks-the app only catches a few calls, most spam calls come through- apparently you need to manually update it daily as it keeps reading not updated. Then it takes some time to update. Still no contact from their support - most likely because there is no support. Horrible horrible app.

Doesn’t connect to contacts or support an allow list.. Subject says it all. If someone you trust calls you and is in one of the lists you block, you won’t be able to take their call unless you turn off blocking for the whole category. Seems like a less than ideal configuration.

Very effective. The call protect application has greatly enhanced the use of my cellular phone. I deeply appreciate the frequent updates. I am giving the application my stars. Works great for a nice price. Numbo is working fine. The more people use this app and report fraudulent calls and scams the more you can look at the number and see it’s already been labeled. It looks like it works very well.

Love Numbo. Extremely helpful tool. Not only will it tell me that about the spam calls but also well let me search phone numbers to see who and where they are. You need just a week with the trial. Love it!

It does precisely what it supposed to do. This call blocker is OK. So if you could only help to eliminate all the spam texts I’ve been getting as of late... I understand that developers need to get paid for their time and efforts to keep apps going and I’m good with that so long as the app works as advertised... if not then why pay for it? Really happy with the app ✌️. Works great, just as I expected. It definitely helped block a number of unwanted calls since I downloaded. Wow almost all unknown spam numbers identified during last week.

Service. This call blocker makes a good service for you and your privacy. I am satisfied, in this buzzy would I found out an app that helps me a lot. Scam calls are the past.

Used to be a good app.... now it’s just blah!!!!. I have this app for over two years or so now, initially it was very reliable but it went getting on the mode to not block any more spams calls or text, I even pay the premium yearly rate and again just for a few weeks then everything went back to normal again, now I can’t even login into my own account I deleted the app and downloaded again and still nada, nothing, zero logging for me tried to recover my password and now even that it’s helping every time I tried it say I fail and or the logging isn’t the eight one, very displeased and thinking very seriously to cancel my membership unless the app creator change my mind solving my problems with the login and the spams calls/text An Unhappy Customer

Useless. I am in a free trial period with the premium version of this app. This app has not identified a single number so far. It has labeled some as “suspicious” but even that has been erroneous as some of those were legitimate phone calls I was expecting. But every other number says “Not Reported Yet”. So this app is marketed as an app that will identify who is calling from a specific phone number. But it does not actually do that. It provides no useful information and it’s frustrating that you have to type in the number you want to ID anyway. It should just ID every number. If you’re looking for caller ID then keep looking cuz this isn’t it.

Review. Takes too long for the number to get into data base and the site goes away every time you put in a new number needs to be quicker

Spam Text messages. I subscribed to Numbo because I was getting a dozen spam text messages a day. They were all from the same site but had a different number. Since I have Numbo most have stopped, but I still get one or two a week. Can’t you stop all of them?

Good but problems with updates. The app is very good but it doesn’t automatically update in the background, even after deleting and reinstalling and checking to make sure the phone settings allow the auto-updates.

Numbo power. Numbo blocks call. Doesn’t show me the other party that the call was, but block it a extremely good way. The other feature that I like is how it shows the category of spam number at call log. It is pretty useful and I like it a lot! Thank you

LIFE HACK APP!! 👍. So many blocking apps out there. I tried them all but this one definitely works best. Numbo can effectively control your incoming calls and you don't have to spend time with meaningless conversation on your phone anymore. I know it is not easy to pick up calls from you wife, your boss, your mother in law and ect. But what about some stranger who just earns money by harassing you and bothering you with sales or surveys. Nobody needs that. Noone have time for that. I just hate those annoying calls. I was getting all kinds of calls all day long, and even in the middle of the night, 10 to 30 spam and telemarketing calls a day. I had to mute my phone and I was afraid to pick up unknown numbers. Numbo has really help control those annoying calls. It is the most accurate & easy-to-use caller id and blocker app. It can simply help you instantly identify the incoming calls that are not in your contact list. It can help you identify spam calls, see who is calling, block number, stop spam & telemarketers from calling your number. Simple and smart. It is powered by a database. The app is really easy to use, Numbo has that simple solutions and it doesn’t bother me at all, either. On the other hand spam calls, telemarketers, financial services and surveys have to hate this app. It is well worth and it definitely works. No more spam calls with Numbo. Really love this app!! :-)

Not happy with this app at all. I have had the app for 2 weeks and it has been worse than useless. None of the robocalls I received were caught by the app. When I tried to find out who the caller was, none were on their suspect list. During that time, it only sent one call to voicemail that I’m aware of, and that was a legitimate call from someone on my contact list. I don’t understand why it blocked that call. It also labeled one call I received as “Spam”, but, luckily, it allowed the call to go through anyway. It was a legitimate call from a doctor at a hospital who was calling to tell me that my sister’s surgery had gone well. it’s a good thing that I picked it up despite the spam label. I only picked it up because I was expecting a call from the hospital. Although not on my contact list, I can’t imagine how a doctor’s phone number ended up being labeled as spam. I have cancelled my subscription.

A very sympathetic app.. I’m very pleased so far with Numbo app. The developer is very responsive to suggestions for extra features. Blacklist works very fine and most of the scam calls are the past for me. I should tell you, that 95% of spam calls are blocked by this app, so I am satisfied a lot. It is a very good service for the price. I highly recommend this call blocker.

Numbo isn’t appearing under “Call blocking & Identification”???. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times. It worked great on my old phone, but I got a new phone and it just stopped working, so I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Both times I get stuck on the “enable span detection” instructions page of set up because it’s not there. It is not showing up. The app does not appear on the list so I cannot give it permission to block spam calls. Someone please help me fix this issue. This is not a cheap app.

Great app!!. The only app which *actually* prevents some calls once I’ve blocked them. Didn’t take me long to stop receiving so many fraud calls once I built up a blocked call list. Great community effort of reporting!

I Used To Love Numbo. Numbo did a great job for almost a year for me. Then they changed something and updates to the phone number data became every day or even every time I open Numbo and take 15 minutes to over an hour (I give up and cancel sometimes after more than an hour). The result is I can’t add new numbers so it’s useless almost. I have just switched away from Numbo as my year subscription expires in a few days and certainly a waste to renew it.

Awesome app. This is an excellent app it gets every unwanted call I receive. Does what it should. So, thank you! You wouldn't believe that I have about 50+ unsolicited numbers already on my list for “Blacklist”! Y'all are literally saving me from jumping thru my phone to strangle these annoying morons who call and bother me!!!! I was looking for a solution of blocking some callers and this was recommended for my situation. I was being harassed by my ex, and he kept calling from a restricted number and different burner numbers. The local law enforcement refuse to do anything about it. But with NUMBO I was finally able to block private and restricted calls along with unsaved numbers. THANK YOU to the developers of this app. This app gave me so much more peace of mind. Than I realized other great features. Because it is very easy to manage and use all aspects of Numbo. This app really fulfilled all expectations by 100%. App can get rid of all surprise and spam callers for you. That sounds good, right? Never again will you have to wonder, or be worried about who's on the other end of the line. Numbo Call Blocker will take care of all your unwanted and unknown calls and messages. Now I can simply enjoy your life without distractions or stressful situations. There was No-one bad issue. And this app is very light. Doesn't consume much power and never caused any kind of conflict with other apps. Again, app is great, works great and I have zero complaints! 😁

Poor user interface. The user interface for this program really needs a rewrite. I cannot paste a transcription of a scam robo voicemail because the paste function gets overlaid by the keyboard before pasting, and there’s no way to stop it. Then The clunky update is constantly updating and interfering. Yes it does work but I’d love a better experience.

Awesome app!!. It works! It actually works! When a spam call calls you, it tells you right from the iPhone screen if it’s spam, telemarketing or whatever, and it’s up to you what you do with it. You can block all numbers, or you can view who’s calling, and you can even choose individually for numbers in your own blacklist. I can say that for the last couple of days since downloading, I’ve actually had ZERO spam calls (it’s around five a day under normal circumstances).

Questionable. Wanted to give you a better rating but can not as I do not know if I can trust it. Your app frequently and forcefully changes your icon without giving the user a choice to cancel it when applying updates. My wife and several friends also wondered if it was done by a rogue take over of your application or if it was on purpose. Very questionable. Oh, and don’t even suggest it is for Valentine’s Day as it is happening frequently usually followed by failed updates. 🤦‍♂️

Effective call blocking app. Simple, user­friendly and powerful app. Effectively blocks robo calls, telemarketing calls, and suspicious numbers. Additionally, I can also block numbers starting with the same range, so I avoid paying for receiving paid calls. Finally, my nerves are not triggered on a daily basis. Thank you so much Numbo team👏

Best call blocker. Numbo app works really well on my phone. Doesn't ring unless it is a call number from my contact list! Easy to use, will be paying the developer team for such a good job!!

Crash. Creating software to eliminate unwanted calls that may be scams, telemarketers, suspicious or just plain annoying is great. Saving these numbers to a community collection point is also an outstanding feature of such Software. That's why I am paying for it. However, each time I try going to my Blacklist, the NUMBO crashes and I have to restart. What a Pain! And that's not all. It doesn't save any numbers to my own Blacklist. And some numbers unknown to me are getting through. I would give NUMBO five stars if these deficits could be fixed.

No Special App for Blocking. The problem w this app is it apparently is not merged w other users around the US. I get telemarketing and scan calls daily. When I look them up on this app it says not reported yet. I can’t be the only one this is happening to. Therefore, the calls still come through unlike another app I used to use which had a huge database of scanner callers and telemarketing. They need to change the telemarketing laws. Correctly, telemarketing cos can piggy back of of anyones phone number using a king. This prevents us from seeing who is really calling.

Lucky pick. Hey everyone, I am very happy with this app, cos it avoids me from annoying scam calls. Robocalls, telemarketers, and rubbish like this is passed for me now. Just give Numbo a try for a week subscription and you will see how it helps you. Very good call blocker.

Not a single annoying call. The greatest thing about this app it how simple it is. The setup is as simple as can be, all you have to do is follow three tutorial pictures. I have not received a single annoying call since I downloaded this app and that’s saying something ‘cause I used to get up to ten telemarketing calls per day.

Saved my phonenumber. I was considering changing phone numbers and for me that would have ment a lot of work. This app really works and is worth it. I also contacted support for a little help and got a very good and quick response.

Works great. I’ve had Numbo for my home phone for years so I figured I’d give it a try for my cell. My cell robocalls went from 3-4 per day to 3-6 per week. I had it for about a month and loved it but then it started blocking a valid number that I need to receive for my job. So I deleted the app. The calls quickly went right back up. After a few more weeks I couldn’t take it any more so I gave the app another try. Glad I did. Now I realized that if a valid number is blocked, all you need to do is use the lookup feature and allow the number. That unblocks it. I highly recommend this app if you get a lot of robocalls.

Numbo is solid call blocker. I needed to block a few numbers from my call log. It was the reason behind downloading the call blocker app, but Numbo can do so much more! No scam calls, spam messages, spam calls, cold calling etc. Everything works well and modern design is just the icing on the cake. This Numbo call blocker is really solid!

Broken. At first this app worked well. Last 4 months it’s been broken. Error messages when loading database. Freezing when loading data base. Use to stop spam texts. No longer does that. Use to cut back on calls. Doesn’t even stop the ones close to my number! Heck one day I got a spam call from my number. I had high hopes after reading about this company but don’t waste your money. I feel like anyone that is paying for this service should be refunded until it’s fixed!!!!!!

Does Absolutely Nothing - Even with Blacklisted Numbers. I just had a call ring through that was on my Numbo blacklist. When I tried to add it, it said it was already on the list, and sure enough it was. All of the callkit extensions are enabled, including the Blacklist toggle. So, another one bites the dust. The only blocker apps that actually work, are the ones that work with conditional call forwarding. This callkit extension nonsense is exactly that: nonsense. Might be Apple's problem and not Numbo's, but either way, it's worthless. iOS 15.1.1, iPhone 13 Mini.

Very good call blocker. I installed Numbo Call Blocker with no expectations. To my surprise I was thrilled! It automatically recognizes spam calls and gives me the power to decide what next. No more hesitating when answering the phone. I can block all scam, telemarketing, annoying people from my contact list and much more. Finally getting a bit of privacy back👌

Useful. Very useful once you get used to how it verifies phone calls. Everyone needs to follow up in order to build data on the phone numbers.

Very easy to use. Easily identifies landline calls and gives me a location of the caller. The app definitely helps to block unwanted nuisance calls. I just hate when a number calls me repeatedly and when I pick up, they don’t even have the decency to tell me their name. But the caller ID function in Numbo always tells me who the other person is. I’m guessing their number database is pretty large :)

It’s worth downloading. Blocked spam calls, unwanted calls and telemarketers from Arabic countries and other places. The app is so smooth I don’t even know it is running in the background.

Reverse phone lookup. The reverse phone is a great quick way to look up stray calls from home or your mobile. Spam calls are quickly identified, Robo calls are also recognised , and real people can be identified (caller ID). It would be nice if mobile numbers were available without a fee, but I recommend to subscribe to this quality app.

Loving it. this app is super fantastic, and way better than the others. it bumps all the spam calls and unknown too. so they can't spam your voice mail. love this app. tried others and I'm staying. the only problem I ever had was the first time setup. but it was resolved and I'm loving it.

Useless. I stupidly paid for a year subscription and this service is a ripoff and joke. I’m constantly getting spam, telemarking and unknown calls getting through. I have the settings set to block not identify. I even have the app turned on in the iPhone call block settings but instead of blocking it identifies. That’s not what I wanted. I can get any free service to identify calls. I wouldn’t recommend this app to my worst enemy. It won’t even let me update the database and there’s no one to contact. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because I couldn’t give it 0.👎

It’s been fantastic since the last update. Well I promised I would come back and write a new review after this was all worked out and it has been. It had some kinks for a while, but customer service was pretty awesome about letting me know that they were updating and what was going on and what to expect. I very rarely ever get a spam call. And I feel like the money is very much worth it. For those of you who have a problem paying for a service because you think you should get it for “ free” try to remember these developers work really hard to create Internet safety for us and nobody goes to work and does a good job when they’re not getting paid. :) and the last couple months I’ve been thrilled with what I’m paying for.

Great, great app 👍. I used to get so many fraud calls trying to get personal info out of me, it has gotten to the point I was considering changing my phone number and provider but luckily, I didn’t have to. Call Blocker blocks these calls automatically because the numbers are already in their database marked as spam or telemarketing or whatever. No more spam calls!!

Have my doubts. About 10 numbers that are clearly scams yet when I search them always comes up as 0 reports. Not sure how accurate the data base is. Not sure what subscription I’m paying for.

Need more improvement. Still unable to identify/block the calls without call I’d.

Well designed App But Falls Short. Really like this app but it does not ID numbers very well here In Australia so I’m using Truecaller which automatically ID’s scam calls & provides an easier way to report scam calls, If a mobile call comes up you can get the name of that caller tried searching in your app but no name came up but in Truecaller it did.

Have reported issues with accessibility and still no improvement.. Developer has made no attempt at resolving accessibility with voiceover and I cannot adjust my settings to block all calls. Callers are still calling me with identification as restricted numbo. I would like to not receive these calls.The app in as far as guarding against spam and scam callers is great, but its time to add a bit of voiceover usibility into this app, users pay, so, it should be 100percent useable for all subscribers .And now I can't add numbers anymore, if I go to the catagory area, there is no accessible list using voiceover.

Useless. Has not Stopped a single scam call

Disappointed. This app is a piece of crap, it hasn’t stopped not one spam call from getting through, in fact I seem to be getting more robo calls. It’s very annoying.

Close but no good. This app doesn’t actually block calls, just name them as telemarketers. The block list says it’s 2+ million but 80% of the calls I get for healthcare scams get through

Database is sorely lacking. I received two calls over the last two days. One was for an online pharmacy and the other was the common CRA scam (call or be arrested for tax fraud BS) anyway this app failed to identify either number even though a quick google search and both numbers are listed as scams on multiple websites. I can’t recommend this app in its current state. If it worked as advertised, I would pay the yearly subscription fee in a heartbeat.

Doesn't do anything. I've paid for a premium subscription to block all calls that aren't known numbers and it hasn't fulfilled that basic function. I am still getting spam numbers constantly and consistently... I would like a refund

New version is subscription only- useless. When I first downloaded it, didn't seem to block much-even when set to block. Mr. Number did instead. Got slightly better over a few months where it blocked a few. Loaded it today, has unskippable "please pay money" screen. Now can't use it without paying money. Stick to Mr. Number folks. Got a response from the dev- they claim to be better than competitors. Really? An app that hasn't been around as long as the market leader, NomoRobo? Yet it blocked little to no calls compared to Mr. Number or it's sister app NomoRobo. And those 2 are no charge to use with modest upgrade levels to get more functionality.

Can’t copy & paste numbers??. Please fix your app. It doesn’t allow copying and pasting of phone numbers. One currently has to type out every number they want to trace and/or report. This actually makes your app a nuisance, not a help. Fix it now. Please. Thank you in advance for your prompt response and compliance.

Great call blocking app. Thought I’d give it a go since they offer a free trial and I think I’ll be sticking with this app to block my calls. It’s fairly simple but does all it promises. Thumbs up !

Helpful. So far so good....so after 2 days of school installation, 3 calls I n Monday, blocked, on voicemail. I usually get 6-8 spam a day, do this is super helpful.

Waste of money!. Their app does not perform as described! Their customer service will not reply. They only take your money, zero service, total hoax, can’t believe Apple allows this vendor to service their valuable clients! I have reached out a number of times for support and there has been no response to any requests.

Won’t download new databases!. Can’t download up to date database. I’ve tried multiple times with no success. Very disappointing!

Let me tell ya. Since I downloaded the app I have not received any nuisance call. It also alerts me for any suspicious calls. Here’s the reason to try Numbo!

More time for important things. Since having numbo, I can handle more work than normal. Nobody disturbs my working day.

Much reduced phonespam. I still get phonespam (including scams) since I started using Numbo, but it’s not nearly as frequent as it was before I got Numbo. Easy to use and no problems setting up, getting it to work, etc. as with some apps I could name! ;-)

Helpful. Since I’ve used this App I receive very few spam calls. Seems to be affective with calls from other countries.

Call blocker. Once you block a number it no longer rings in. You see the missed call but that’s all.

Kill the robo calls. Since I got this app. I been very happy my phone is not ringing, that seems every 5 mins. It’s been nice and quiet! Numbo is supported by me.

Updating. To update the database does not work. I have tried to to do this many times.

No more scans. Numbo is the answer for annoying spam issues. This calls out spam calls and well even give me the name of the telemarketer calling me! Thanks you very much Numbo.

Used to work great.... Worked great up until last Friday 9/6/19. I don’t know what changed but I’m back to getting 10+ robo calls a day. As another new addition, every time I open the app it takes several minutes to “update” which is very annoying.

Callers ID. My Numbo is working so cool! I’m using iPhone and I hope this should keep working. Look forward!

Okay meh app. Problem is it doesn’t analyze scam calls that are not local. After that it is okay. Burdensome having to write down the phone number you want blocked however because it is unable to accept a pasted copy of the phone number.

Not blocking. Many phone numbers I have requested to be blocked continue to be received. Unless I’missed it, I’ve never received any info of how many of the phone calls to my phone number have been block. Maybe it’s available but I’m not aware of it.

NUMBO!. This is the best app I've seen for silencing and reporting FriendFeed and unknown 800 calls. Excellent job and the data base is always kept up to date!

No more robocalls. With all the robi calls coming in, it is helpful having a method of weeding out unwelcome phone calls.

Download new numbers. No update for awhile. Update times out times out. Why not the add new numbers to the database rather then downloading the entire database. Data base has not updated for 3 months. Why does the entire data base have to be uploaded instead of adding to it? Hope this is fixed soon.

Numbo is dumbo.. This app never seems to catch any spammers or Robocallers . Every number that I’ve entered into it comes back as not being in their database, even when Nomorobo definitely has it flagged as spam including a recording of the spam call. Wish that I hadn’t paid for a year of service of this useless app.

New update is useless.... Since they came out with the new update, it has a screen that basically forces you to pay for the service whereas before it wasn't there... I shouldn't be backed into a corner to access the app like I was able to previously... Please fix this issue....

It Helps‼️. I was getting 10 ugly calls per day minimum. This weekend I only received one! What a relief! I would like to be able to copy the numbers from the caller to NUMBO. Hope that’s remedied soon.

Love Numbo. It works! Almost all spam calls recognized. I can block text messages based on rude words and use private blacklist. Kudos to developers. 👍

Pretty good. It does exactly what I wanted. The main thing I wanted was to block non- contacts. The identification of undesirable calls seems pretty good as well.

Works great. Does exactly what it says it does, blocks spam calls that they have in their database already. TMy thanks to the developers for such a great app.
