I have seen it work. I have seen the app work and it worked on my phone even but when I bought a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 the guy didn’t work very well at all and he’s very glichy nor did he look like the first time I tried it on a different bottle in the store. Maybe you all could check this out and get it fixed. Thank you

Bottle didn’t speak to me!. I am a huge fan of all of the 19 Crimes. I grabbed a bottle of Cab for a dinner party and was so excited to show everyone the app. Words cannot describe how disappointed I was that the app didn’t work. I am just going to have to buy another bottle or 7 to prove to these people I am not crazy and that the labels speak to me even before I have started drinking.

Love my Crime Wine!!. Love, love, love 19 Crimes! First tried it with my Aussie boyfriend, and it’s been our most favorite ever since. We are partners in crime and look forward to doing the time! 😌 Our favorite is the Warden; which I can’t seem to find anymore since it first hit the shelves. Please make more! We are collecting corks and almost have them all! My favorite crime is “ Impersonating an Egyptian” 😎 This wine is really yummy and quite drinkable. Get ya some!!

Love the wine but app didn’t work. I have a second bottle now that I will try tonight. Will change review if that bottle works. As of right now, I’d give zero stars if I could. By the way, just because you like the wine, doesn’t mean you give 5 stars to an app that doesn’t work. Lots of confused people on these ratings (saying their app didn’t work either) Edit—app worked better tonight. Changing rating from 1 to 4 stars

Rum barrel aged !. For 11 bucks you can’t go wrong, this vintage is exquisite. I have recently been buying whisky ,and bourbon barrel aged wines, then I happened upon a 19 Crimes bottle aged in rum barrels. This process brings a whole new flavor to enjoying a fantastic fermented beverage. Five thumbs up for this one !

App is dis functional. I have an iPhone and have tried everything to make the app work. Reading the problems I have experienced them all: app gets into death loop with the logo; app closes unexpectedly, when I get to the scan screen it seems to take the label but then I wait forever to have it check the files and then it asks for the screen scan again. It clicks and sometimes has the death circle that I’ve waited for 5 minutes for it to do something-but I can NEVER get it to do AR. I’ve closed all apps; deleted and reinstalled the app; ensured I’m at the latest iPhone version; I have 65GB free and a good WiFi- HELP! I bought 4 bottles as gifts but can’t even make the app work for me!!!! Ugh

Living wine labels not working. When I first loaded this app it worked great with the Cabernet walking dead wine. Now a few weeks later as you’re scanning the label it just processes and does nothing. What I mean by processes it does has a spinning wheel as you’re scanning the label.I purchased three other different walking dead wines for a total of four and none of them work with this app. Not sure what has happened, a friend of mine downloaded the app on their phone Just the other day to see if it would work on their phone and it does the exact same thing as mine.

Awesome advertising. How much Fun is it to sit and watch a criminal talk to you on a bottle wine? I’ve enjoyed this wine for a few years but didn’t even know that there was such a website that I couldn’t really enjoy it and get a glance at the criminals. Very awesome awesome awesome awesome wonderful advertisement and it’s fun to read their stories.

Awesome!!!. My former boss got me a bottle as a going away present when I was starting a new job. He knows how much I love wine. Then he said the label comes to life and about the app. I loved it!!! I must say it’s the most creative gift I’ve ever gotten. He’s the best boss I’ve ever had and I miss him... but every time I look at the bottle and show friends I’m reminded of him and I get to impress friends. Thanks

Didn’t work. I bought 19 crimes wine because I wanted to check out this app. I scanned the label and it started “downloading my experience”. It took over 45 minutes. Once finished it went back to the scan label screen and nothing happened. I tried closing the app I looked at all the options to see if I was missing something. I moved the scan label screen in every possible angle zoomed in zoomed out I tried taping the screen but still nothing happens. The how it works tab in the options says that “you simply scan the label and your experience unfolds” which did not help me. For an app I wanted to check out it wasted my time and just irritated me.

Works again after update.. Update: Still slow, but now it works! Original: It has always been super slow to download experiences and startup the app, but at least it worked. Now it’s faster, but doesn’t work. I’m using an iPhone X with a 19 Crimes bottle. Was going to use it as an interesting example of how AR is being used in advertising at the makerspace I run, but that is obviously on hold until it’s fixed.

Zombies. I enjoy wine and like to keep certain bottles for the unique labels. I noticed Walking Dead thought to try the Chardonnay it was very good. I enjoy reading the back of a bottle for history of the wine. As i read the interesting story of the zombies i read to download the app and did so and zombies escaping from the bottle came alive! I have collected 3 series of different wines and zombies! Definitely different!!!

Used to be great. I’ve been using this app for years to show off the 19 Crimes bottles at parties and have always loved it. However this week I tried showing it off and after scanning it asked me to download and could never get it working. Tried again with someone else’s phone and he got it to download. The live experience totally changed and was neat but we all agreed that the original experience was so much better and easier. I still can’t get it working on my phone. Such a bummer - stop changing a good thing.

App works great depending upon carrier. I used this app inside Trader Joes as a prank. I asked a fellow shopper to take a video of me holding the bottle for my wife but the app was on an not the camera. When the bottle began speaking, lol, I almost lost my phone when he panicked. It works great on Verizon, but is choppy on my MetroPcs phone. I guess it is signal and carrier dependant.

Stop the click sound!. I wanted to love this app. I deleted the app within minutes of download due to the click sound that you can’t disable. It completely detracted from the AR experience. Allow us to turn it off or remove it please. As is, the app is not usable for me. REPLY TO DEV: No, I had a click sound with every navigation move I made. There was no way to turn it off in settings. Sure I could turn my sound down but then I wouldn’t hear Snoop talking.

Worked just fine for me... I just downloaded and used for the first time today and had no issues! Maybe a recent update, as I read a lot of reviews about poor speed and app not working. However, I do see how it could cause confusion, as you have scan the bottle once for info download and then hold camera on bottle again for the info/video to play.

Neat idea. I bought my 1st bottle at the suggestion of the lady at the wine store. It was so cool when the guy started talking, except he had a really strong accent so it was a little hard to understand him. Then I happened to be at another supermarket and I saw a different bottle. I couldn’t wait to get home and try it! Unfortunately, this bottle won’t work. I have tried holding the camera in portrait and landscape and every other way I could think of. Super upsetting!

Exceptional red wine. This is a really good wine!! Love the flavor & color. Sweet aroma without the sweet taste. It is so smooth goin down. 1 bottle will not last with 2 people, you will want to open a second, so buy 2. I keep coming back to this one as I always purchase 4. Check out guy showed me the app and I couldn’t wait to download and show others the ‘tales of those who were banished’ who visit our home! Keep up the great work on this wine!!

Spectacular wine for the $!. Bought a bottle of 19 Crimes on a lark for my friend because we get into all sorts of shenanigans. Thrilled to find it was great tasting and always a good “go to wine”. Walmart was having a taste testing and I exclaimed that it was one of my favorites. The lady introduced me to the app. What a great marketing idea! Someone needs a raise! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Who knew - Talking wine labels!. OK - I love history and this marketing strategy has worked where I’m concerned. I happen to really like the 2017 Red Wine, and just finished my second bottle. I am also collecting the corks to see how many of the 19 crimes I accumulate. Download the App and visit your local liquor store. You’ll have more fun hearing actual stories of real people, punished to death by transportation to Australia from the UK. The 19 crimes committed seem pretty tame compared to today.

Didn’t work on my phone or my wife’s phone.. I have seen this work so I know it’s cool, but my wife has a iPhone X and I have an iPhone 7. The app did not work on either phone. Both did the same thing. Open the app and it asked us if we would allow the app to use the camera. We said yes. Then it is was a glitchy version of the camera but without any instruction or other options to do anything else. Just a camera mode. I placed the 19 crimes wine bottle in front of the camera and got nothing.

Loved it. A friend recommended this wine to me and told me about the app. I couldn’t get it to work at first you need to have enough lighting. Also I don’t think the app is crashing it pauses between the story? I loved it and the price was right! Good tasting as well. Will buy again

Living Labels. Living Labels app is efficient and easy to use. It allows me to show customers at our store how the wine labels react, which has proven to be intriguing to them. In selecting wines within the parameters of the app, customers are encouraged to purchase varieties with these labels- in some cases just to be able to show others.

Fun on a bottle. This is a great gimmick. Seeing the label come to life in the settings your are in is a lot of fun. I did the 19 Crimes and it was enough fun for me to buy one of each to take home. The wine although not vintage is very drinkable and having the app that transforms it makes it very entertaining. I highly recommend both the wine and the App

Cool but download an app for only 2 sentences?. OK, saw this in a bar and was excited to try this out but I was expecting to hear a story. At least a minute long so that it is worth downloading an app and the content on my phone. However, AR, voice over work and artistry is top notch! Impeccable really. I would be interested to see if expanding the content is on this apps backlog. By the way, I have not tried the wine to know if it’s good or not yet since I’m a vodka drinker and I'm also in white wine mode since it’s spring.

New App. Oh, and there’s wine, too!. I’ve been buying this wine since they first arrived in Iowa. I enjoy the stories. I’m very disappointed in this latest version (2017 Shiraz). When one scans the label it says about 6 words. Not nearly the caliber we’ve come to expect. Will I buy again??? That’s a good question. Not sure any more

19 Crimes is my BFF!. The wine is absolutely awesome! I have recommended it to many of my friends & co-workers who are now fans of the wine as well! The new App is an excellent idea & marketing tool! My only fear is that it becomes so popular they won’t be able to keep them on the shelves. Cheers! 🍷 P.S. I currently have 5 bottles at home & I am afraid that I might become a hoarder. 😜

Walking Dead Wine. Love how the walking dead wine bottle labels come alive!! Only complaint is that we only get 2 of our full set (4) to interact. Also those two, Rick and the walker have a white background not transparent like the bottles on their own do. Please update the app so it’s not a white background and update where all 4 can do their scenes together. If they already can instructions would help!!

Suggestion to improve.. Great idea and good conversation starter. Would be nice if animations were expanded a bit more on some of these wines. For example; 19 crimes wines...would be more exiting if after the criminals completed their short speech, they would maybe jump up out of their Chair and snarl at you or some other unexpected event such as is the case with the walking dead label.

Only one thing could make this better.... The wine is great! The concept is great! We bought our first bottle and gathered round the phone to see what the criminal would say but were very disappointed that there wasn't more. Would love to hear just a little more about the crime itself or life after transportation.

Great concept... way too buggy.. The #1 rule of any live marketing tool is that it has to work every time. Unfortunately this so far works only about 20% of the time - if that. Need to figure out what the problem is and fix it before you start getting negative reviews. Right now people are ranking your idea high only and NOT the execution.

Amazing Wine, really cool App.. I’m not one for writing reviews but I feel strongly about this wine. I purchased the Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 and boasted about it being my new favorite on my FB page, only to have a bunch of friends chime in and inform me about the app and the stories behind the people on the bottles. I downloaded it and about jumped out of my seat when the man on the bottle started “talking” to me haha. Very creative marketing and just all around great concept to back up a VERY good wine. Will def. be trying the others versions very soon.

BEST APP OUT THERE. This is a phenomenal concept and every winemaker who didn’t think of it first is an idiot. I don’t even care what the wine tastes like, but I will forever buy this brand for the dog and pony show it puts on for myself and my guests. Bravo, 19 Crimes, bravo. You are the first app I’ve actually been happy to download. Thank you.

App consistently crashes. Bought the wine for the sale price and the fun app that goes along with it. App never correctly scanned the label - always just prompting me to take a photo. It asked me to download an “experience” that took a very long time to download and never even opened. My phone heated up so much that I knew something was wrong. I closed the app to try again, but it would never reopen. Every retry was met with a crash. Very disappointed. Why bother having this feature if it 100% never works?

Brilliant!!! 👍🏽👍🏽. Absolutely Love this “experience.” The wine is actually quite decent, too. Also, it’s reasonably priced and I often give a bottle for birthdays or housewarming gifts or to a host that has invited us to a dinner or such. It is invariably well received with a fascination or wide-eyed interest!!! Obviously, I highly recommend this wine/experience. Peace✌🏽& Aloha 🤙🏽

What A Disappointment!!!!. A friend introduced me to the 19 Crimes wine & this app. The wine was good & seeing the function of this app made it even better! So (of course) I wanted to share the experience w/ my friend. I bought a bottle, but was disappointed when the app did not work. It kept crashing! I simply thought it needed an update. Months later, I referred the 19 Crimes band to a friend for their gathering. The friend downloaded the app to show their guest but (again) it didn’t work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and again we were all very disappointed! So b/c of the let downs, I will not be referring this wine & app to anyone else. We’ll be going back to the brand we’ve always liked & are satisfied with!

Need instructions within the app. I’ve seen this app work before and it’s really neat. So I bought a bottle of the wine for a get together with friends and downloaded the app. Well after a few drinks I decided to show them the neat way this app works and couldn’t find the instructions. None on the bottle and none when I open the app. I never thought of opening the App Store to find out how to use the darn thing. Maybe bc I’d been drinking and most apps have instructions when you open the app. All this one did was spin. Never got to see the story.

Living labels what a hoot. Most of my friends have not seen these yet, we are finding them very fun! I especially love the zombie ones! We are planning a wine and food tasting appetizer party with a bunch of them for the holidays! Great marketing- has me buying more expensive wines than i would otherwise. Can sombody do some fantasy with dragons please?

Tasty Red Wine. Perfect for my steak night. I was looking for a red blend and the store did not have. The owner recommended this wine and I am very happy that he showed me this wine. He also told me to get the app and it will tell the story. I am enjoying this. I will definitely get another bottle or 2 when my wife has our 2nd baby. 1 and a half months till she has some of this red wine. Thank you.

App crashes while scanning label. I got home from work yesterday and my boyfriend was really excited to show me the wine he got me. He said it had some “really cool features” that I would appreciate because I like to watch crime shows. He pulled out a bottle of 19 Crimes red wine, began telling me about the app and how cool the concept was. He was SO excited for me to try it out, in fact, HE downloaded the app on my phone for me. Imagine the disappointment when he scans the label and the app crashed, he was so upset! The whole reason he picked THIS WINE was because of the features and it turns out the app doesn’t work.

Great wine😍 app doesn't work.... First bought for the intriguing label this summer, 19 Crimes Hard Chard has been my go-to white ever since & The Uprising is my hands-down red. The app doesn't work. At all. Bit of a let down, but-hey! I can research & read all I want & really, the wine is more important. You can't drink an app. So the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ above is for the WINE!

Should’ve kept it simple. This is an amazing wine with a really cool feature. A couple of years ago a man in a wine store showed me how you just needed to aim your camera at the bottles and watch them come to life. I’ve been buying every year ever since. Unfortunately now you have to download an app that has a bug and won’t make them speak. Totally bummed out that now I just have a bottle of wine to gift, as opposed to a very special bottle of wine. Please fix ASAP or just got back to the aim and watch feature.

Something Changed? Nowhere near as good.. I really enjoyed this app with the 19 crimes wine bottles. It was great to show people at parties who never have seen it and it’s fascinating how it works. However, something has apparently changed because I haven’t used it in a very long time, and now it will not scan more than one bottle without you having to close the app and reopen it. Sometimes even then it will work and sometimes it won’t. Plus the “new experience“ is rather silly. I’d rather it just keep the bottles talking or not do some goofy scene. Bring back the old version!

Surprise!. I love the wine to bits, no question. So when my father asked me to point the phone at the newly purchased bottle, I wasn’t sure what to expect. So you can imagine that I jumped out of my skin when the mugshot spoke to me. A fantastic app that brings a little piece of history to life. It could also double as an amazingly funny prank too! Just make sure you’re the one holding the bottle when your friend jumps.

This Wine Is Great. The wine is great for the price! It is my go to now, I have had three of the different bottles now and have not had one that I haven’t liked or wouldn’t buy again. I highly recommend this wine. This app is awesome and they should advertise that it exists more, it is so cool to Bring the bottle to life. I would not of know if the guy at the wine store had not told me about it. The app works great.

Will not purchase anything that pairs with this App. What a waste of time. I bought a bottle of wine for the fun interaction but was extremely disappointed when the app wouldn’t work. And unlike the other reviews where people highlight one malfunction with the app, I had TONS of bugs everywhere in the app. When I opened the app it stuck on the loading screen forever and replayed the animation over and over. Then it wouldn’t scan, and to top it off when it did scan it didn’t do anything. WASTE of time and money.

Awesome selling pitch and great wine. My girlfriend brought the bottle over the weekend. She explains to me that the bottle talked. I did not believe her. She convinced me to download the app and hold it near the bottle. I was total amazed and freaked out at the same time. Now I want to purchase the other 18 bottles and collect them all. Oh I forgot that I love the 🍷 also lol.

It’s changed. Let’s be honest. This app has a very specific use and it used to do it very well. I normally download the app, show people how cool the talking wine is and delete it again until next time. Somewhere since my last download they’ve changed the app so that you now have to download the specific label and click through a ton of pop ups before it will play. It took so long that the hype was lost. It was so much better when it would just automatically play when you had the label focused.

Expanding the technology. I love this technology! I wonder if we could use this technology for everyday people to be able to capture voice and images of deceased loved ones. It may seem creepy however I find the prospect of this comforting.

Worst app ever. Was so excited to track down this wine in a small town. Bought the $10 bottle of Cabernet sauvignon ( thanks Trader Joe's) then take the time to down load the app. Well low and behold the app is pointless and utilizing many teens, this app still wouldn't work. I heard "get up against the wall"...... yes that was all. Still wondering what all the hype is about. An average wine with a crappy app. If I could give negative stars you all would sit at a negative 3. Beyond disappointed and will be sharing to my fav social media sites so my friends don't bother. What a pitiful joke of a so called app!

Didn’t work. I’d heard the AR was cool but it didn’t work with the bottle I bought. Disappointed.

Maybe not suited to iphone 6 ?. Nothing happens. Screen goes black then App crashes. Tried 6 times. I give up

But report?. Okay so I’ve downloaded the app and it’s all running smooth except as I try to put in my birth month it freezes as no keyboard pops up I thinks it’s due to an IOS 14 update but I could be mistaken. From the looks of it though the app looks like a great app and very good engagement on reviews thanks heaps.

pointless af. Took FOREVER to download and when it finally did we only got one line of pointless, ambiguous dialogue. Huuuuge waste of time and data

Too big download and content could be improved. Too big and sequential download that made the initial experience slow and cumbersome. Content would benefit from a more clear structure and intent. Beginning, middle and end. But great MVP regardless.

Waste of time. Really, as a developer why don’t you read the reviews and instead of commenting, actually fix the issues. I thought, with Snoop Dogg putting him name on your wine surly you would have fix the issues of it not working! Very disappointing.

Needs work. Zero stars if I could. Crashed twice while loading before it even got to the welcome screen. 270mb just to be asked to download another 40mb. Not good enough. It lasted 3 minutes before being deleted

The app. This app is so amazing just love it

My first review. So the wines ok. This app isn’t. Download, nothing/blank screen. Try again, get about three seconds of talking then silence, no visuals. Yet to see or hear anymore after about 10 try’s with screens wanting to take a photo and blank screens.

18 crimes Cabernet Sauvignon worked. Nice work but sometimes the labels wouldn’t work out of the 2 bottles 1 didn’t work but the one that did had us all amazed

Freaky. History comes to life

Great concept but clunky execution. Wonderful idea to scan a bottle and read a story- but clunky execution. Very hard to find story behind 19 Crimes Jane Castings’ bottle. Info extremely hard to find. Living label video was interesting but took ages to download. Video didn’t give much basic info about Jane Castings life/history at all. Had a look at website for her story- again- not a direct link and had to search multiple pages in different sections of website to find info. Need to improve execution- people just want to quickly scan the bottle and have the persons story come up. They don’t want to spend 15minutes finding it. I would suggest polishing and improving the process because the concept is fantastic and worth continuing.

Just doesn’t work. So disappointing. All My friends and I have tried to get this app to work but it is useless. Just can’t make it work at all. Waste of time.

19 crimes. Great talking point with friends

Waste of time. After spending way too long downloading everything just to see some bloke talk in AR, it didn’t even work. Scanned the bottle, downloaded the thing, scanned the bottle, *click*, wait, scanned the bottle, *click*, wait, wait, wait.... nothing. A bigger waste of time than writing this review.

Is the app under development?. I am guessing the app must be under development, as currently it only contains a button that links to the website and then runs through the browser.

Wow Factor x10. Awesome wow factor for me and my friends!! Please please please bring out more labels! I walked around Dan Murphies today scanning all the labels!

19 Crimes. These interactive labels are fantastic. I’m surprised they aren’t everywhere.

Penal Noir. As an Irish-Australian who likes his wine bold and honest I enjoy these labels and stories of Fenians whose destinies, like mine, we’re bound for Western Australia.

No story. Downloaded the ap, downloaded the bit for the specific wine, scanned the label... ap shut down Opened it up again and scanned the label and got several sound clips, none of which told an actual story.

Caution. App recognised a wine label with ease, then asked for camera access, then spent an hour downloading something with the camera on. Can we get reassurance the app isn’t spying on us during long downloads using our devices cameras? After all the downloading didn’t work anyway.

Bad. I’ve downloaded this app twice ! It keeps flicking off every time. No response yet !! Two bottles later I think I will give up. Sadly 😣

Crashes. Great idea for an app! However after one successful use (with 19 crimes label) the app just crashes! I’ve tried downloading the 19 crimes experience again and it just fails every time. Squealing Pig and Matua downloaded fine, however, do not have bottles to test them out. This has so much potential I hope the next update will fix these problems

Drinking the wine whilst working out app. Following the instructions. You do what it says. And still nothing. Close app. Try again. Apart from hearing a pig snort (on label from Squealing Pig) and trying to enter their magical world by turning phone continuously, such a let down. The principal is good but this needs to be made super user friendly so it actually works. Had a little more luck on a previous living label wine. Took 20 mins of retrying. Maybe you have to drink a good part of the bottle to figure it out??

Disappointed my entire family. I bought Walking Dead wine for all of my family members for Christmas to show them the AR feature and every time we open the app it crashes. Over $200 spent on an extremely disappointing and embarrassing experience.

Garbage. Did not work at all and it tried to harvest my information.

The Walking Dead wine labels no longer work. Not sure why The Walking Dead wine labels no longer work with the app that’s not cool!!

Loved the app. Loved the app sadly no longer supported Hopefully they’ll make the app available again.

Waste of time. If the goal of the app was to waste two minutes doing a self-infatuated jerky animation and then crash, I would have given it five stars.

Not supported. You can download the app, but once installed, it states it’s no longer supported, and that to use the website for 19 crimes. However, other wine companies made live labels that isn’t 19 crimes, so what am I supposed to do then? Makes gifting these wines very lacklustre now.

Do not buy!. Do not buy as a present or souvenir as it will stop working. Avoid wines that use this app as the app drops the graphics unexpectedly and you get stuck with mediocre wine that does nothing

A little fun entertainment app. A fun app to use while either entertaining or out socializing with friends. Works fine on my phone but doesn’t seem to work well on the iPad. A great app for entertaining/conversation when drinking wine with friends which I’m sure it was designed for. I like it🍷

Garbage. Saw the advert on a bottle I purchased. Downloaded the app to try. App doesn’t work at all. Instantly deleted. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

App Developers....Do something about this app.. After reading many, many reviews. They all say the app doesn't work. How can you have an app that doesn’t work at all and why isn’t anyone at this “company” fixing these issues. Like seriously!!!

Very Entertaining App. I just downloaded this app and was very impressed to learn the stories behind the faces on the 19 Crimes Bottles. A staff member of the NSLC recommended the app to me. It’s kind of like watching the books or pictures in a Harry Potter movie come to life. The one improvement I would suggest is not having to temporarily move the camera away from the label to hear the next line.

Lame story. The Martha’s Chard has a totally lame story. She never talks once about her crime and time in jail, like all the others do. Disappointed, but have yet to try the wine!

Barely functions. After multiple tries I got my Snoop Dog Cali Red to say one line. Then it tells you to turn away and scan again to get another. Unfortunately, after multiple tries, nothing at all. It’s a lot of hype for something that doesn’t work.

Odd. Now it is great but one bottle just repeats the phrase “ up against the wall” and nothing else. Another bottle literally changed to another bottle face in front of our eyes and started talking! Not the one on the bottle we purchased. I think the 20 th crime is an app that is all messed up. 😣

Doesn’t work. Downloaded this because I saw the name of the app on the back of the wine label from Wolf Blass. Tried it several times after downloading the Wolf Blass content, but nothing happens on the scan label screen no matter what I do. Using iPhone 12. Tried different lighting, closer, further, etc. Nothing. Deleting. I hope Wolf Blass didn’t pay a lot to be part of this disappointment.

Wine is great, app is not. These wines are so tasty and fun, however I have been continually disappointed in the app. It’s very buggy and unreliable. I have had to reload it everytime I close it out, otherwise it does not work a second time. With each new release the app gets more and more unreliable. I’m so frustrated with the app and the fact I can only find the 19 Crimes wine that the novelty is wearing my off. Please fix and test the app before releasing it. TY

Cool!. I saw this awesome wine on Facebook. When I found it at Target I had to have it. I downloaded the app in the store to see it before buying. I think I sold 30 bottles today just showing my friends and family this cool interactive label! Love the wine!

Fascinating!. My daughter talked me into downloading this app and I’m so glad she did. It is an interesting and eerie experience. This is my first time using it and I’m looking forward to using it in the future.

Cool app. I just downloaded the app after seeing it in action at a local bar with the 19 Crimes labels. I haven’t used it much yet myself. One thing I find very annoying is the clicking sound when selecting menu options, etc. And I can’t figure out how to turn it off. Any insight? Thanks.

Great concept, started strong, now doesn’t work. Love the concept of this application. When it first came out, it worked great. It’s what led me to buy every single 19 crimes bottle just to have on hand to demonstrate to friends and family. However, recently, the application has been very unstable and for the most part unusable. Crashes all the time.

2016 Red. My favorite, not crazy about the others, but JMO. BEST, best red wine under $10 (I pay $7.99 locally. From the first sip (needs to breath a bit) and properly corked 2days later still excellent to last drop. Great history as well. Well done down under!

So DUMB. I’m usually not one to write reviews, but the man talking on the bottle was speaking effing gibberish and I immediately threw the bottle which gave my dog a concussion. Thanks A LOT! He was the best dog ever and now he barely even barks at the mailman anymore. Now I’m going to have to buy a cat.

Searching Wine. Very taken by the “Uprising” paired with Brie cheese - a truly sinful combination worthy of transport to Botany Bay. May my indulgence be forgiven, forgo the arduous salty relocation and punishment by Transportation down under. I was always curious. I always wondered about these faces on the bottles! What were their stories and what happened to them after they arrived in Australia. I would like to know more, actually!!

App not working. I’ve used this app for a while but as of this latest version it stays in the load screen forever. I tried deleting the app and starting it again but still have the same issue. We’ve tried it on several phones with no luck.

Extremely Glitchy. I have never seen an app with so many problems. I have not been able to get past the point where you enter your birthday. Most of the time before that I got stuck in the logo loop. I tried to uninstall and re-download, but it just made the loop worse. Really disappointing because it sounds like a great idea. I have a bottle of 19 crimes I’d love to be able to scan.

Great wine and such a cool app. I watched the video and thought omg how cool is this then I opened it thinking how good will this really be for the price. Well then smell was amazing and then I tasted it. Wow it was smooth and very pleasant I had the 2016 red wine. Can’t wait to try the others.

Okay wine. Horrible app.. I like the wine, but this is a review of the app, so it gets one star. I was able to get the Cali Red label to recite me one short line, but after that the app has been stuck on the loading screen and won’t even get to the main menu or any functionality that will let me scan the label again. Horrible experience. I didn’t buy the wine for this, but I may not buy it again because of it.

It’s good wine. We had a lot of fun with this during the holidays. We weren’t really expecting much from the wine, but it’s actually really good. Lots of positive comments and everyone was passing the bottles around and talking about them.

Cool concept. Wish older wines were kept. Love the wine but like the app better. The only issue is, older wines no longer work with the app. I had been collecting the bottles but have stopped buying because older labels have been removed from the app.

Makes you wanna drink another bottle. What a novel idea. I’m not much of a wine drinker, but my son told me about living labels so I thought I’d buy a couple bottles. I did, I listened, I drank. I enjoyed the wine and the experience. By no means a wine connoisseur, but I’ll buy more and listen. Their marketing ploy worked on me.

Great wine great app. I’ve been enjoying red blends for over a year. Then I tried 19 Crimes and it became my go to wine. Everyone who tries it loves it. I serve it just a touch chilled. Soooo good. It’s very difficult to find a wine my wife likes but 19 crimes is her wine. Consistently delicious.

Update. I tried this and it didn’t work.... decided to try again and after 5 min of trying to scan it worked!! Kinda hard to understand what the dude was saying but it was superrr cool! Def needs some improving BUT enjoyed it!!

To be able to see labels on experience would promote sharing with friends.. To be able to video at same time to share with friends would accelerate interest. Should spark other uses, possibilities, & interest. Thanks

Fun app, good wine. My sister introduced 19 Crimes to me last month. It’s my new “go to” bring along when we get invited over. The app has always worked great and it’s a fun addition. More white wines would be a nice addition.

What did you do?. This app used to be so cool. The launch screen just keeps animating. And it won’t even launch. What do you have to do on the first view that takes so long? This was a showcase for ARKit but I can barely get the app to launch anymore. Beautiful when it works and the 19 Crimes wine tastes good, but get the app to launch faster!

Would be cool if it worked!. Concept is cool, videos I’ve seen of the old version are neat. But when I scan a bottle, the scene stutters and stops, it’s totally unwatchable. Was excited to scan all our 19 Crimes bottles and see what they do, but it doesn’t work on mine or my husband’s phones. Y’all should put the videos online for those of us who can’t get this unreliable app to function.

Disappointed. I haven’t tried the wine yet just brought it as a conversation piece, for when we have guests, but couldn’t get the app to work on my iPhone or my husbands droid phone. We both tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and still, doesn’t work, went back to the store and tried it from another bottle and still couldn’t get it to work any suggestions?

All but one work.. Love this app. But it doesn’t work on the Cabernet Sauvignon bottle. It you hold it just right, it tries to start the story in the far upper edge. I think this bottle needs a tweak. The other bottles work flawlessly. Please look into this bottle CS bottle, as it’s having issues. Still leaving 4 stars for the amazing creativity.

The only thing holding this back is better story telling. The wine is decent for the price and the app is a great gimmick but the story telling could be so much better. The AR is great but shouldn't stop if you move the bottle. If you want to show others the video you can't keep the bottle in focus.

Fortunately the wine is better than the app. This should be a fun little app and if it would be if loaded and worked properly. It shuts down suddenly. If you get it to stay open and scan the label it my or may not play the animation. I’ve tried it on 19 Crimes and The Walking Dead and it took 4 or 5 attempts to get the movie to play. By that time the cute, quick fun thing has lost it’s luster

App is unstable. I think this is such a great idea and was so excited to try it and then show other. But then they did an update and then the App was a major disaster and would crash 95% of the time. I would love to show this to friends and family if it only worked. Every one I recommended it to could not get it to work either. Please fix all the problems so I can be a good advocate for your product that has so much potential.

It gets even worse every update. this app used to be cool, simple and work very well. Than came the updates. One after another trying to make it “better” and fix the bugs. It didn’t though. Every version is worse than the previous. The app now is slow and crashes all the time.

Doesn’t Work. I am using the app for The Walking Dead. I downloaded the correct one and nothing. It tries to scan the label but then quickly stops trying to scan it. It seems like a simple process but feels like I am missing something. No clue. I know the app works because of a friend showing me but I bought the wine as a gift for them and now just hope it works on their app.

Great wine / slow app. The app works on and off, but the wine is great! Despite having great internet speed, I sometimes would get an error message after waiting 15-30 minutes for the app to load. And other times it would load within a minute.

Lovely Cabernet, but.... I love this wine, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon. One of my favorites when I make my monthly purchase of 4-6 assorted bottles. The only complaint I have is that the app doesn’t work with the cab bottle 😞. Hoping you can add the cab so I can hear this guy’s stories!

Buggy. Neat concept, but it doesn’t seem to actually be working. After downloading the “experience,” it cut back to the scanner and when I placed the label in front of it, it seemed like it was TRYING to do something. A checkered box about the size of the label would flash before cutting back to the scanner. While you’re (hopefully) fixing the bug that’s causing this, please streamline the downloading of the experience. Nobody’s gonna want to sit through that.

Misleading. I thought I would hold the camera phone (via the app) up to the bottle label and the label would “come to life”. In reality, the label gets scanned and then u see a short video clip after it takes a looong time to download. Very disappointing. Kinda like when u see an add for a toy that flys and then u buy it as the toy only flys if you hold it in your hand and run around with it above your head.

Fun for the holidays. The Cabernet Sauvignon is tasty- and the price is right. I downloaded the app while in the store, and it worked fine. Two other shoppers were there and they also bought the wine and downloaded the app to see the label come to life! This will be the wine I bring to holiday dinners this season- what a fun surprise!

Loads of entertainment. I love showing this to random people at the store. Everyone gets a kick out of it. I even got my brother buying wine just so he can use the app. Lucky for me he doesn’t drink wine so he just brings the bottles to me! Wink!

Talking labels on 19 Crimes. These apps to turn a scan into a talking label was creepy at first now it is a challenge to see how many I can find. I really like them and it is the smartest marketing skill I have seen in years.

Best Wine EVER!. My wife will not drink anything other than 19 Crimes, she has tried many other but as she said there is not comparison at all. Hands down the best wine I’ve ever tasted and this is coming from a staunch IPA / Jameson’s man. It’s a spectacular product 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Papa Coop, New here.. I was told about the history about 19 Crimes wine and also the App. The both together are very interesting and the taste of the wine is smooth and love the aroma of it. There are many other 19 crimes and I plan to try them all over due time. Enjoy cause I know I will.

What a Surprise!. I like the other reviewer was impressed with the wine then I found out about the 19 Crimes app, WHAT!!!! This is such an inexpensive gift and conversation piece. Everyone I've told about it and given as gifts is astounded & has such a great time showing people, what a hoot! Bravo 19 Crimes!!!!

Great concept, mediocre AR. Like the stories behind Australia’s founding rogues and I am impressed with the wine’s value. However the augmented reality isn’t special; even holding the iPhone steady on the same surface as the bottle I get mixed results in the size and position of the talking head. Also, wish they made the actor to more closely resemble the man on the label.

Let down. Downloaded this app, attempted to use it with 19 Crimes and when I scan the bottle the app continuously shuts down. I thought it was because I didn’t do the latest update on my phone. After updating, shutting phone off and rebooting the same thing keeps happening. I have emailed them letting them know and have had no response. Disappointed. It looks fun but I’ll never know.

Spooky. I’ve been drinking this wine for a while and really love it. Then my friend told me about this app and my family and I tried it. It’s amazing! The bottle comes to life and tells a story. It’s a great party trick, entertaining, and a very well designed app. A must for downloading.

THIS APP DOES NOT WORK!. I have now downloaded this app on my iPhone and iPad and it has not worked either time. Every time I go to open the app it goes to the loading screen and stays there until it ultimately shuts out by itself. It has done this a repeated number of times. I have still yet to even experience the app. This was the result on both my iPhone and iPad. If I could rate this app 0 stars I would.

Disappointing….. The content takes forever to download, if it downloads at all. Mind you, this is using either WiFi or 5G. The lack of reliability and ease of use is beyond disappointing. The gimmick of the augmented reality is kind of cool… but the inconsistency in being able to download the content can get annoying very fast.

Awesome!. This is a tasty wine that is easy on the wallet! It is always a crowd pleaser and I love the story behind each bottle! I do wish there was a way the app could keep up which bottles you’ve gotten/seen which ones you haven’t!

Not sure what happened. This used to be a great app. It worked seamlessly. I hadn’t used it in a while, then tried again and it wouldn’t open. Today I deleted and reinstalled. It then pulled in the wrong label movie than the one I was scanning. I closed out, and now it won’t open at all again. Please go back to the simpler days when it actually worked.

The original 19 Crimes app was way better!. This new living label app takes away from the experience...the old app just came to life after pointing the camera at the bottle. This new app and the required downloading makes it not even worth it! The wine is still good so that’s why I gave 2 stars 1 for the app one for the wine! Go back to the original app!

App. I've tried several times to download the app. It's very slow to respond and wouldn't download after several attempts. Great marketing concept but poor download ability. The 19 crimes wine is good but I bought it to go with the app. Won't be buying it again due to the poor app support. There are other wines out there that are as good or better for less money. I bought it for the marketing gimmick but it's an epic fail.
