App not available in my area. So.... several years ago, I downloaded this app only to find out that it’s unusable in my region or state. Not sure which. I’m in Oregon. I’ve been shopping at Bath and Body Works since a store opened in my town 21 years ago. You can imagine how much I’ve spent over the years. Plus I never get the emails with offers or coupons even though I’ve signed up hundreds of times. Anyhoot..I ended up deleting the app. During the early part of the pandemic, when all stores were closed, I started ordering online. No coupons or offers were available for months so me and everyone I knew was paying full price for new arrivals. Then one day I noticed there was an app. I got excited, and went to download it and noticed it was in the cloud. Hmmmm.. strange. That means I’ve downloaded it in the past and deleted it. Imagine my dismay to find that it’s STILL NOT available in my area. Really BBWs?? What gives? People on the BBWs lovers FB group just gloat about the great coupons they get and the rewards they earn. 90 dollars worth of product for 11 dollars and no shipping fees? Really? How is that equitable? Please include every area in the rewards program app, or discontinue it...

Horrible online shopping experience. Multiple times I add items to the cart and when processing the payment the items will need adjusted due to unavailability. If a costumer has an item and intends to pay without logging off or closing the app that customer should be able to purchase an item. This would be the same concept if customers were encouraged to take another customers items from their shopping bag within the store. On another attempt I paid nearly $200 for items that were marked as available in the store near me. When I went to the store to pick up, the employee told me only 1 shower gel from over 30 items I ordered was available. No one notified me and I did not get any email indicating the discrepancy. When I asked the employee to change my order status to ship, she said it wasn’t possible and would take almost a week to process the refund. By this point, everything I ordered originally had been sold out.

Great app. I am really enjoying this app. It still has a few bugs such as when u use one of your rewards. It has a tendency to take an item off that is already on sale which if it is one of the sales where u have to buy 3 items or whatever the sale is for, then that throws that off as well. Now everything has jumped back to original prices and the reward coupon is taking off an item that u we’re getting on sale which, in my opinion, is wasting your reward. Then I have to remove my rewards and remove the item I wanted to use the reward on and make a separate order which increases your shipping costs. I would also like to see an option where we could combine rewards to get an item that we normally couldn’t get because it is a little out of our price range or use it towards shipping costs. All in all, still an awesome app.

I'm Nee to Bath and Body works. My daughter Amy lives in a small community far from a store and no internet so I often do her shopping. As I am handicapp I shop online often anyway. Recently, I placed a rather large order because of the BOGO sales and buy 3 get 1 free. I was terrified when the actual delivery was STOLEN😤🥵! I called the next day after searching for the box and reported it. To my HAPPINESS Bath & Body works replaced each item immediately! I got the order by a different carrier to!❤️😇❤️ Next week on Monday I packed up my Daughters box with Shower gel lotions and perfume mist. Plus threw in some hand soap for my grand children. The COUNTRY APPLE IS PERFECT FOR FALL. I like the Japanese Cheery Blossom to. I have wanted to visit an actual store for years but no electric chair and current a broken wheel chair...but soon I hope to go smell all the wonderful scents and products. I may be NEW TO THE WORLD OF BATH &BODY WORKS BUT IM ALREADY IN LOVE WITH THE PRODUCTS! Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of me! 😇🙏🙏🙏

Orders On Line. As an active customer of B&BW for 15 years I know this pandemic has changed our way of shopping. I placed an online order recently for promotional full size body care products (ordered 4 Japanese Cherry Blossom Ulta Cream) advertised as $6.50 each as a day sale. With this “Special” knowing stores would be crowded (avoiding large crowds) I ordered on line for pick up to avoid large crowds for an extended time. Received a confirmation email order was processed with order # minutes after confirming my order. Waited for email/text to pick up order at store for 3 days. On the 4th day received email order was canceled due to no stock. Same scenario happened with a candle order I placed beginning of this year. My question is other retailers are able to fulfill pick up orders in a matter of minutes. Why doesn’t B&BW use the same protocol?

App crashes. I’ve used this app for years! Just this past year there has been an ongoing issue. I’ve talked to customer service sadly there’s nothing really they can do since it’s more of a technical issue. It started with my app letting me log in but not showing me my rewards/offers(coupons), it would freeze on that tab. Now it doesn’t even let me log in. Once I type in my information it loads & refreshes on the same log in screen. I’ve tried deleting the app, reinstalling. I made sure everything was up to date & nothing. I’ve not received any coupons for about a year & thus haven’t been shopping here as consistently as I use to. I know it’s the application since I can log on fine through the browser page however my coupons don’t pop up on there. Desperately wanting this to be fixed & not knowing how or guided towards the answer

Review on products. I usually never review anything at all but the more I read on reviews the more interested I am in the products. I usually buy the perfume sprays which smell amazing, my two original go to are always a thousands wishes or beautiful day. Lately I been into the candles the watermelon is my favorite it smells delicious and last a long time like 3 months or so and I always light them twice a week for at least two hours so I love that the candles last well worth the price and the deals are what I look forward too. Like who doesn’t want to save money when you get two for the price of one. Also my husband and I love the foam hand soups we just ran out and he is like what happen to the soap there is no more and I really like the way they smell and feel on my hands. I just laughed because my husband usually doesn’t ask for things as far as what supplies I get for the house.

Bring back my Favorite. I really hope that someone reads these reviews?! I’m sending this to whoever is in charge of the discontinued items, Please bring back my ultimate Favorite item: Wild Madagascar Vanilla ! All products with this fragrance! Ultra Shea Body cream, Shower Gel, Moisturizing Body wash, of course the Body Mist…! I’m not the only person who Absolutely Loves this product, my husband loves the smell on me when I used it. Also many of my friends love this Fragrance, it’s the combination of Shea butter, Aloe butter, and Cocoa butter! Just smells so wonderful, and makes my skin feel beautiful and soft! So please bring this back, I’m certain that if you did , they would be flying off the shelf and selling out fast ! I would love to be the first in line…! Excellent customer service!!!!. I just have to say thank you for all of your wonderful products. I have no complaints whatsoever. I enjoy shopping online and visiting the store when time permits, however shopping online is just as convenient if not even better. I’m saying that because agents will help you with making decisions and making any necessary adjustments with any questions so on and so forth. I absolutely love this store or app because it makes me feel healthy inside and on the outside. Please keep up your best in class customer service and products. Looking forward to any new products Bath and Bodyworks launches in the future. People awaken your senses and treat yourself to something special from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. You will not be disappointed. If anything you will be happy and filled with joy from any scent or product you choose. Try something new for a change and I guarantee you will be elated. If your not so sure about the scent do not be afraid to mix scents and create your own signature fragrance. I do and people constantly ask what I am wearing. BBW you’re welcome and thank you. 3 years limited test?. 3 years for a limited market test is excessive. If you’ve not arrived at a point for a more general release in that time for an app/program of this nature, you probably never will be, which is disappointing. Honestly, I am less interested in a rewards program than I am in an app I can shop with. I love your products, I just wonder why you make it difficult for me to spend money with you. Especially during the pandemic. First world problems maybe, but navigating the main website in safari is somewhat kludgy compared to a shopping experiences inside an app created for that purpose. Which brings me to my next review point: it needs native iPad support alongside the iPhone orientation, and stop being an iPhone app forced to run in a tablet.

Member review. I love this app and the products they provide! So many beautiful scents and haven’t had a problem with my sensitive skin. My only complain what so ever for a 4 star review is I have rewards and I can never place them whenever I’m in checkout. The only time they’ve worked is in person. I work nightshift so going in store isn’t always possible with my schedule. Otherwise I adore this business, scents seasonally always make me happy. I get compliments from midnight amber glow and vampire blood seasonal scents which I have made stables by purchasing them in bulk. I adore them and so many more! Midnight amber glow, sweet whiskey, Dahlia, Vampire blood, sunset glow, and mahogany and teakwood even ocean as the men’s fragrance is fantastic! Their cocoa and shea is wonderful for my sensitive skin, their oatmeal colloquial is also fantastic!

Could be A LOT Better. This app works sometimes and then other times it just acts so weird and doesn’t do right. I definitely go to the website to purchase because I can’t always depend on the app working. Also, I have a bone to pick with bath and body works. I had my birthday coupon in my app and of course it’s for the free body care gift…okay that’s cool. Where I have a problem is that I have to make a purchase just to receive a free gift. My mom..who is not a regular shopper at bath and body works in any way shape or form ordered once this year and she received coupons in the mail, but not only that a coupon for free body care gift with no purchase necessary in the same amount $8.50 value. I’m not understanding what’s going on here?? I’m a regular customer and here I have to make purchases and by the way never receive coupons Lol. Yes I know this rant sounds petty and I need to get over it, but come on at least treat your paying customers that buy year round with better incentives and gifts. I’ll definitely be cutting back from purchasing with your store. Who knows…maybe finally I’ll start getting coupons too and a birthday gift where I don’t have to purchase anything 😂

Great app but an issue. So I was on the app shopping for the spring sales and it asks me if I’m a human, this is normal I know lots of apps do this. So I press and hold and it starts to load and I load in and it deleted my entire cart. I got over it and went to shop again and added stuff to my cart. It asks if I’m a human again, (this is about 10 minutes later) and I was fine about this. But this time it wouldn’t load, it just kept loading and loading and I kept going out and into the app, closing it completely when going out. I tried switching my Wi-Fi’s and were my position was in my house. Nothing worked. So I just turned off my phone and went on to do housework, I come back and hour later and it finally works. It deletes my cart again. Then it asks if I’m a human again and the same thing happens. I can’t get into it right now currently so please tell me if I’m doing something wrong.

On line App. This app isn’t user friendly. I’ve been trying to order this since yesterday. I’ve tried from my emails & from my Bath & Body account. Every time I try to go back it starts me all over or puts me on the wrong order. Then it says my Rewards are in the negative & that I have NO REWARDS. I’ve had 4 orders in the last few months & now this one. Plus there was a reward I needed to redeem. Tried to Chat on line & with everyone of these issues I’M having, the app states IT’S having issues, to try later!! I don’t have time to keep trying over & over! I also received an e-mail that said I had returned a package with Room Fragrances in it & that y’all were giving me credit back! I never received that order to even send back, so evidently it was dropped off at the wrong house & THEY sent it back. When you go out to the Q&A’s & try to go on the search line to put a question, it never goes. I am very frustrated. I used to like ordering online from y’all but it seems to get harder & harder. Please help!!!!

Customer Service. The girls in my family love Bath and Bodyworks, so I went into our local store to do some Christmas shopping. There was a young lady working in the store, her name was Bri. She was so very helpful. She showed me where all the different candles were. Told me about the candle sale coming up. And she even showed me how to download the app on my phone so I can start getting the rewards. (I am a senior citizen, and I needed help with this too). I’ve done some Christmas shopping in a few other stores this season. By far, this was the best customer service I have received. I just wanted to give her a shout out because I felt like she went above and beyond the call of duty. She even remembered me when I came back in several days later for the candle sale. Super nice! Nice to Shop but…. The Bath & Bodyworks app is nice to shop and see all they have to offer, but there is really way too much going on. It would be so convenient if the app offered to automatically show at checkout what offers were still available as a part of VIP membership which best benefits the sale instead of the user needing to bounce around from wallet to checkout repeatedly trying to match the best promotional discount to their purchase. Most users would greatly appreciate the timesaver of Bath & Bodyworks taking the guess work out and going ahead and placing the best promotional deal in our checkout cart so we can order and know Bath & Bodyworks was considerate of our time as we are more able to get through the process, know we will be soon receiving the item(s) we want at the best possible price, and move on with our busy life.

Oops! Why me??. I received an email to join the VIP and I have attempted on MANY occasions to download this app, login with my same credentials and all I keep getting is “Oops, something went wrong!” I’ve missed coupons because they only show on the main page of my email but even logging into the browser does not show “My Rewards”. However, my email does show that I’m a VIP. Look, I spend a lot of money wit B&BW and like a previous reviewer, I’m tired of hearing my friends talk about coupons they’ve used and how much they’ve saved. Hello?? Hello? B&BW….when will this be fixed. I am in Indy and I delete the app everyday, re-download, in hopes that today will be the day that I am able to successfully “Ooops, log in”. Almost 3 weeks now and cannot login.

I love the rewards but app has its cons. So my favorite thing about the app is the convenience of having your orders stored in one place and being able to order online and pick up in store. especially when it's a seasonal item and they're going to sell out fast! You can clearly see all the deals & sales as soon as they are available. Also if you need to make any returns all your records will be on the app instead of having to have a paper receipt! I love the rewards points as well, you get to earn points to use for future purchases. Only con is, the app needs a drastic update.. it's always glitching for example I couldn't see my favorites for MONTHS & it'll just keep saying "oops nothing here" and moving slow like the app is always buffering. It functions like your on the internet and not an app if that makes sense! So that's why I gave it 4 stars

Cancelled Order. I ordered online from Bath and body Works for the hand soap that went on sale for $2.50 and within 20 minutes. I received an email stating my order has been canceled. I was planning on picking this order up from Bath and body and don’t know why it got canceled. The email stated that I had not picked up my items in a timely manner. I therefore called the store and told them about the cancellation and told them that according to the website, give them four hours to get the items. The manager said she had no idea what happened or how it happened. She also called corporate office to see what happened and to Annaville maybe a glitch in the system. She apologized and told me to re-order however, by the time I ordered quite a few of my items were no longer available to be picked up in the store. They had to be shipped. I decided not to get those particular items I’m disappointed and not sure even now why my order was canceled or what happened however, Bath and Bodyworks missed out on money. I suggest they find out what happened in this particular case because it could be happening to other customers and they might not have the patience to deal with this as I did by calling the store. I want to take the manager at the Short Pump bath and body mall for taking time out to handle this situation.

Issues with B&BW App. I have experienced a number of glitches with the app that have prevented me from taking advantage of the sale opportunities. Unfortunately, when you try to bypass the app and go directly to the website this is only possible by using a device that doesn’t have the app installed; otherwise the device recognizes the app and automatically tries to link to the app. I tried updating the app and this has not helped solve the issues. Additional, there has been issues with the pick-up in store option. I placed 2 orders 3 weeks ago using this option, and 1 of the stores never processed the order; thus I lost the merchandise. The 2nd store never sent out an original email message advising me the order was ready for pick-up; they only sent out an email with a final email pick-up reminder. I brought this to the attention of the 2nd store and was told they had been experiencing glitches in the system.

Bad service. I had a candle when, and was inside their candle holder. For some reason, the candle broke in a small triangle kind of position, which also broke the candleholder. I took it back to the store. They absolutely refused to give me a store credit. At least they commented the candle was old, they still sell the same candle but in a different label I didn’t know that their candles have an expiration date so be careful when you buy these and the reason I buy a lot at one time I don’t use them on a daily basis I have to use one and finish it, but the point is they absolutely refuse to replace it even as a store credit so they kept my candle to throw away and I brought me back my holder but it still has like a V shape missing piece. Well good luck people and check the expiration dates on the candles which I think they don’t state so they should comply, but they don’t. as many years as I have gone, this is the first time it ever happened. They’re losing a customer which is no big deal to them 😪

App seems ok. I’ve had mixed emotions about the app. For the first few days I signed up I couldn’t do anything on the app except look at my account and view my reward points. Yes before you ask when I signed up it was available in my area that wasn’t the issue. The problems were I couldn’t view anything in my cart I had a constant loading symbol and I couldn’t click on anything in the specific product pages on the app for instance I could view the 3 wick candles but if I clicked any specific ones like say stress relief anything on that products page brought up a white screen when clicked. But… As of late morning yesterday I was finally able to get full functionality of the app. I get bugs and things come up from updates and whatnot but from reading recent reviews as of the time I’m writing this I’m not the only one who has had issues with the app. So long story short I guess just if you’re going to use the app hope for the best hopefully it works just like the website for you and like I said as of right now it seems to be working fine for me now so hopefully that will continue moving forward.

Need free shipping. I spend a lot of money every time I place an order, and I always have to pay for shipping. They never give you free shipping unless you have to pay the full amount for whatever you are buying instead of paying sale amount. I refuse to pay $7 per diffuser and would rather wait until they are on sale bc they are not lasting as long as they used to. I ordered a ton of the hand foaming soaps last time and a couple of them had exploded in the box and I could not get ahold of anyone in email or phone. The phone would not get me a speaking person and email would not respond after multiple emails. I kept getting the runaround and by then it had been weeks! They need to rethink the way they treat paying customers bc I am seriously thinking about finding another brand and taking my hundreds of dollars to another store who cares about future sales from faithful customers.

Love the app but needs work. I noticed when I went with my friend to our local store that when she opened her app under offers she had online and in store offers ALONG with online and in store deals. I was excited as i saw a deal on lotions I wanted to take advantage of however when I opened my app I only had deals available and the offer for the lotion sale was not available to me. I read her deal and it was not a reward or a targeted offer from what I can tell. It seemed to be a generic offer extended to everyone. This made me start thinking I never see any offers on my app only deals and I started to wonder how many great offers might have passed without me knowing. Like i said I love accumulating my points and getting the notifications before hand on sales but this was a bummer for me knowing I’m missing out on my deals because my app doesn’t update and release them to me.

Experience in the Southern Pines North Carolina store. I had the best experience last week in the Southern Pines. 8North Carolina store. I wish I could remember the names of the store employees who were so attentive to me. They greeted me as I walked in the door and asked me if I was looking for anything specific and if they could help me find it. Then I asked them what the sales were and they not only told me, they showed me where the specials were. They even went so far as to help me pick out fragrances as I told them which ones gave me headaches. They were so kind and thoughtful and I just wanted to give them credit where credit is due. There are so many negative comments about employees and stores these days, but these employees truly deserve recognition for their attentiveness, professionalism, and outright kindness. I don’t live in this town, it is an hour away from me, but it will be the store that I go to from now on.

Any occasion!. Well, I am hooked, as is my family!…we have tried many many other candles and none of them have been as fragrant as yours and long lasting. No one ever asks me anymore what I want for Christmas or my birthday I literally have a cabinet that is filled with your candles for daily use. Every friend and family member knows exactly what they’re going to get for their birthday for Mother’s Day for Christmas etc. Myself my my two daughters and my granddaughters are also known to give and receive your candles for any occasion and everyone always seems glad to receive them. We wait for your sales because it’s so much fun for all of us to go to the store and all grab your shopping bags because we know they’re going to be full by the time we leave! Unable to change email address?!?. I just went to My Account in this app and wanted to change my email address. I’m moving away from the account I have listed and wanted to change it while I was shopping and remembered to do so. But I got a message “Sorry you can’t change your email address!” Really BBW?!? What if someone has their email account hacked? their identity stolen? if they used a college email account to register but have since graduated and the account was closed by the school? if they used an internet supplier email to sign up but then change to another company? There are numerous reasons people may lose access to an email account or want to change to a new one. If we can’t change the email address and place an order, what are you going to do if the email account is closed?! Cancel an order because you can’t send the confirmation? Seriously there is a LOT here that makes this a VERY questionable decision that I’m wondering if I should continue to have an account with you or not… 🤨Are you really going to make it that we can’t update our accounts to have accurate, current personal information?!? 🧐

Ordering off line. I waited my turn in line too order candles.. when it was my turn it took over 3 1/2 hours to order.. after my order wouldn’t give me a confirmation number.. I called customer service.. while waiting on hold my confirmation number came thru.. so I asked customer service if my order was right.. customer service tells me that the order number is empty.. I say are you sure I don’t want too orders.. she tells me she is looking at it and it’s empty and besides it will cancel out when it sees too orders.. so not true.. because I got charged for too orders.. and too too it off they wouldn’t and didn’t cancel it.. customer service got my order wrong too.. and when I went too Belden to take my order back the manager Marcie was rude and could careless that I had this issue and only gave me a portion of my money credited back.. too top it off she dropped a customers soap on my toe.. no apology.. she asked me to leave and call customer service.. after I have already been on the phone with customer service 2 different times and they ensured me I would have no problem and I would get total amount refunded.. I will never order candles off line again.. this also happened too both my daughters and my 2 friends waiting for hours for there orders too go thru! This is ridiculous the whole reason you order off line is too not have too deal with this! Marcie’s customer service skills were absolutely awful!

Needs work. App is quirky especially when you are trying to find a store that has all your items . I was updating quantities and when you change store, or change from shipping to pickup or visa versa it deletes all of your changes . It's not intuitive that you have to click apply changes after u change quantities before u make other changes. Making other changes shouldn't delete your work so far. I should be able to make all changes and then click apply changes Should also be a feature that suggests a store that has all your items . There are 5 or 6 stores in my area I am willing to go to and it seems each one was missing an item or two and it was annoying as heck trying to figure out what store to use. Should be a feature that shows how many of the items in your count each local store has like this one has all , this one 7 out of 10 and this one 5/10 Also , it's ridiculous to make $100 order and not get free shipping in this day and age , just saying

Bad app & horrible quality shipping.. I placed a giant order of 49 items that “got lost in transit” I called and placed a second order. I received that order today and there was 14 of the 49 items that I ordered in the box. It’s obvious the shipping company opened the box and took what they wanted out of my order. Aside from that, every single item that was in the box is unusable, it’s all ruined! Customer service was very kind and helpful and I realize it’s not their fault but corporate needs to make sure the quality of their shipping is better than this. I typically don’t have this kind of money to spend so when I do I expect the items to be of good quality and delivered properly. I received a refund but what I truly wanted was the items that I purchased. The app had a detailed summary of my order which was also not correct. It’s like they didn’t have what I ordered so they just switch it around on their own or something. I’m just so upset because I truly wanted the items I purchased for my girls for Christmas!

can’t use the app. i’m kinda disappointed. i get that people are saying that they start with a smaller group, and then expand, but it’s kinda unfair to all the people who can’t use the app, and they all can. don’t hate on people giving the app a bad review, because it’s been 2 years and there are still barely any states that can use the app. all the people writing reviews to hate on the people giving it one star already got their free item, and can ACTUALLY GET INTO THE APP!! it’s been 2 years with new york not available. how do you not have a big state like new york available? i know there’s rewards programs at the bath & body works near me, yet they don’t include it. there’s only a few states on there. anyone from new york can’t use the app. it’s just unfair that some people get to use it, and some people are not even allowed to get in it, because of their location. i’m not satisfied at all, i honestly don’t know when they’re gonna add more states, so i really don’t even wanna try and get it again. it’s been 2 years and they haven’t added any new states, cmon man.

App and website is not very user friendly.. Poor design when trying to change an item from pick up in store to shipping. Would not permit the change and the error message generated stated that I exceeded the quantity for the item selected. Only selected 1 so not just poor development logic but poor QA testing. Removed the item in order to continue with the other 14 items in the bag. Also had an issue increasing the quantity number from 1 to 2 using the + next to the quantity. It just simply did not work. Third issue is that I thought maybe the issue was with the browser, so I tried logging into my account with another browser but it returned with an error that my credentials were incorrect. Finally logged into the App with the same exact credentials. Still had the User interface issues that occurred using a web browser. It took longer to checkout online than it would have to drive to the store and pick out every item and drive home. Most frustrating online experience ever!!

A Day Late and a Dollar Short. I’m somewhat miffed that it is now that Bath and Body Works is coming about with a rewards program. Practically AFTER countless shoppers as myself have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in buying their candles and body care. What took them so long? I want credit for my past purchases. I’ve been buying their product in store and online for years and I want credit for it. I also find it suspicious that my entire purchase history gets wiped out each time I place an order - as if they don’t want shoppers to have proof of past purchases. I called and emailed customer service about this, wanting an explanation and they couldn’t give me a straight answer. Shady!! Also, if this app is simply just going to lead us into the website each time we click to view a product and want to add it to our favorites list, or to place an order for it, then the app is useless. Why have an app if it is simply just going to have the user open up the website? Um, I could have done that on my laptop. Straighten up, B&BW and get with the program. Many shoppers are more likely to place an order via an app than they are through a desktop website. Life is too hectic and busy to be chasing down rewards and to be re-routed to websites. Make an app that we can place orders with and give us credit for prior purchases. We’ve supported your company for years, it’s your turn to support us.

TERRIBLE TOTAL RIP OFF. Don’t waste your time at bath and body works. Don’t get me wrong, they have good quality products but their goal isn’t to make customers happy it’s to con them into their money. If you select one 5$ product on their website they will charge you 9.99$ shipping. That’s more than the actual product. And don’t forget tax. I was shopping for a gift for a friend and had a budget of 25$ that I planned to split between two stores, and I couldn’t purchase anything from bath and body works because their shipping charged me more than half of my budget. Bath and body works, please suspend the shipping costs for the time that we are at home. You are taking advantage of us not being able to go to the store in person. So stop ripping us off and taking advantage of us for this time at least. Suspend your shipping costs!! If you can’t do that at least make them 2-3 dollars which is reasonable! I refuse to pay more for shipping than my product itself! SUSPEND THEM FOR A SHORT TIME AT LEAST!

Lovely smells honest about the candles. I simply love Bath and Bodyworks I’ve been a customer for at least 20 years I can say that their fragrances change as I get older and I care for as many as I did back then unfortunately with this I must also say that the fabrication in regards to the candles has changed tremendously I was a big candle buyer for a very long time and in the least the last two years I’ve seen a decline in my candles the way they burn do I smell everything that I no longer purchase them which is a shame because I would easily by 5 to 6 at a time I am have yet to find a different type of candle that I care for I wishFor I wish they had some type of thing with their candles because they’ve thrown so my way at least in the past couple months I lost a lot of candle in a lot of money

Seasonal products. It’s very disappointing to hear that the vanilla scented body spray that I have worn for years has been discontinued! I did, however, buy the vanilla spray that you still carry, although it has been changed somewhat during the special sale that you had. When I got home with it and tried to wear it, put the body spray on only to find that it had no scent at all! Since your store is about a 30 minute drive from my home the store manager said that they could not just swap out the body spray for one that they had in the store because what I had bought was a seasonal product! I was very disappointed and irritated because I was getting pretty much the same product, but they would not exchange it for the same product. In order to get the same, three bottles of body spray, it’s ended up costing me about $60! I don’t know whether I’m going to continue shopping at bath and Bodyworks because I felt like that was a very bad policy. It was through no fault of my own that I got home with body spray I had no scent. I just felt like the management of the stores really need to know what happened so that possibly it won’t happen to another customer! Thank you for listening, Karen Harrison

Courtesy Counts. Every Bath and Body store I hv shopped in allows me to hv a comfortable and speedy shopping experience.... It’s great to hv a person at the door to great and ask if you were looking for something special.... She directed me to the 1st place I wanted... that was very helpful... The stores hv employees to answer a question stationed throughout the store and the people at the registers moved quickly ..and were friendly... During these COVID19 TIMES ... Shopping is stressful but necessary and I really appreciate the consideration given us that Bath and Body has staffed their stores so we feel safe and still enjoy our shopping experiences... I will not shop on line so going into a store is important to me... I hv family in different cities and shop in these stores and applaud your stores and staffs in : Santee, Ca..., Aliso Viejo, Ca., Followed by the stores in the Malls in Mission Viejo, Ca, El Cajon, Ca., Mission Valley, San Diego , Ca... Thank you for picking wonderful staffs and managers, beautiful displays, great smells in the store, keeping very clean stores, and terrific products ... Very easy to use. I love Bath & Body Works, but I don’t always love going out and about to stores. I use the app for probably 75% of the shopping that I do with them. The app is easy to navigate, I hardly ever have any technical difficulties with it. It’s super easy to apply your coupons or rewards when you check out, and it’s easy to add your payment methods. I’ve only ever had one problem with an order being lost, and that wasn’t Bath & Body Work’s fault, it was the postal service’s fault for loosing the package. Once I did realize the package was lost, I contacted customer service, and they replaced my lost items. They have a convenient customer service chat option in the app that you can text them on the app and they will help you with whatever the issue is. I love the great variety that the app always has; I love having seasonal things in my home, so their hand soaps and candles that change seasonally are great! Some of the items can be a little pricey, so I usually wait for a sale, and Bath & Body Works is almost always running some sort of sale, so it’s easy to wait until there’s one before buying anything. I’d definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Almost Perfect. I love to see all the new flavors of hand soap gels and all the other fun items in the store. I go frequently and never spend less than $150, most times more. Today when I shopped, I bought at least one each of the gel hand soap flavors, but some flavors were on a very high shelf, out of my reach. I was somewhat disappointed at that, but I asked for help, and one of the employees was very nice and pulled down the ones I wanted for me. So that was good. At checkout, the girl was nice until I asked for double bags and a larger bag so I didn’t have to carry 4 small, heavy bags, and she gave me a hard time about it. After spending my usual $150+ I couldn’t believe I was being denied double bags; as if the extra bag was going to come out of her paycheck.. Rude. I did end up getting the extra bag I asked for, but what’s this cheap attitude about? Is this something new?

App is only for rewards card and sales ads. I downloaded this app months ago because there was an in-store incentive but I’ve found no other use for it since then. There is no seamless in-app store to purchase the products, as if you were buying online. The app only shows you your rewards account number, points accumulated, and the number of promotions they have going on. If you tap on a sale, the app directs your device to open the store page on a web browser, meaning the app itself doesn’t have much function. It’s basically the app version of those email marketing ads. The only use I would’ve gotten was the ease of scanning my rewards card but even that function is temporarily obsolete because of all the closed stores during the pandemic. Two stars because the app doesn’t claim to be any more than it is. At this point though, most apps do have that in-app store option so this pales in comparison by a wide margin.

Love the app. Love the app and the ability to have the daily email coupons loaded into it for easy scanning at the register. The ability to earn free items/rewards is a huge plus. I just wish the value was upped a little bit for more selection and the sale prices counted for these (the possibility of getting a candle with my reward when they are on sale would be nice). I would recommend putting in a points/purchase tracker in the app. Sometimes the cashier has scanned my rewards barcode but later I do not see the purchase counted/credited to my points. However, I have no way of verifying this by opening the app since it just gives me my overall points, not a breakdown of each transaction. I also think the app should be used everywhere stores are available to make it fair for everyone. One last thing, even though I have loved using the app so far, I still enjoy getting coupons in the mail to use so I hope my app usage won’t start phasing out the mailer coupons for me.

Why can’t I use the app?. I live in Michigan and my state isn’t participating in a rewards program thing that won’t let me shop on the app at all because it’s the first thing you see when you open the app. There is nowhere to exit out of that, so I can’t even get into your app because of where I live...I can’t give any more stars than one because I can’t remember any app experience using your app. I just looked in through the other reviews and to the people saying shut up about not being able to use the app, are you kidding me? Apparently it’s been THREE YEARS they haven’t been able to literally get out of this page that is shown every time you enter the app! That is so frustrating to see people saying to **calm down** and that the app is great because they live in the “testing area”, when probably more than half of us can’t literally open into the app and use it AT ALL. Bath and body works, we are in the middle of a pandemic and nobody can go out and just shop instead! Now I know why I didn’t remember using your app, I never did! I don’t even see responses to any of the reviews from them so I’m expecting they won’t see this. Kind of disappointing...

This App is GREAT!. It’s easy to download. I never had any issues with this app. It gives you notifications and whenever I go pay the cashiers always let me know my coupons and especially my rewards. I sometimes forget that I have rewards when I am so busy purchasing other items. But they always let me know what’s going on and that’s what customer service is all about. Sometimes the reward will take a few minutes to get to you. It depends on your phones service and how fast you receive them. It usually takes a day for me but I still get my rewards and you are the first one to know the promotions and sales going on. I also receive email notifications. Every point Is $1.00 and every time you go in and purchase your points accumulate and start making your points to get to you free reward! It’s so WORTH IT!! :) thanks BBW 💙

What’s the Points….. I have recently been paying attention to the app more because of the deals and rewards when recently I noticed that we earn points for each purchase, only if you scan your membership barcode 🙃 at check out though. (Which I was never actually told about by any BBW member or the app, I just happened to overhear someone talking about it.) So I start scanning my members barcode to collect the points after having spent who knows how much at this point. Come to find out today that even scanning the barcode doesn’t do anything because it still says I have 1,000 points until my next reward. So I wasn’t told that I needed to scan a barcode on top of giving my phone number at checkout, and scanning the barcode doesn’t do anything anyway. Great work BBW, the points system is impeccable. 🙄

Loss of Points - Fix the System. First and foremost, I enjoy B & BW immensely! What I don’t enjoy is the non-transfer capability of reward points. My state does not honor them because B & BW hasn’t approved it. I can’t redeem/gain them online due to the delivery location of my state. One can call and redeem their purchase points, but are met with “we can’t give you points because your state isn’t part of our online system.” There are THREE B & BWs within 50 miles of me. The rewards (coupons) offered in the App are not honored and a long time customer is essentially told, “your loyalty does not matter.” With the holiday shopping days upon us, it would be nice if B & BW would fix this “problem” as a way of saying, “Thank you for using our goods to bring joy to those you love/care about.”

Point scale.. I don’t shop here like I use to because they changed the reward scale. It’s like doubled how much you need to spend in order to get something free. It’s not really worth it. Plus they don’t send or have as many couple offers like they use too. Christmas is the only reason they’ve been having good coupons offers here lately. My email address changed and they told me they would transfer my rewards and point to the other email address and while I’m doing so on the phone she told me she can give me the points for what I had, but can’t give me my rewards because it’s generated from the computer. What?!!! I just lost 3 rewards. She should’ve told me that before changing my email address. I could’ve went a spent the rewards and them changed my information or should could’ve given me my points… simple as that!! Also I haven’t been getting my birthday rewards or points. I inquired about that as well, to get no answer. Now I’m waiting forever to speak to a supervisor about all my concerns! Bath and Body what’s going on with good customer service??!! This is ridiculous👎🏾

What a waste. This app is seriously a joke. If you don’t live in certain places (4) you can’t get the perks. Slow roll out for testing that has been over 2 years? How fair is that? I purchase in bulk every time I order for here or go to the store. GUESS WHAT? I won’t drop another dime on your products until you make it fair for everyone. You don’t even have a normal app for shopping. You’re upsetting your customers with this VIP members only nonsense. What this app has showed me, is your IT department is filled with idiots. The qualifications for the job must’ve been breathing. They shouldn’t test ran for a month or two max. Instead you all have dragged your feet and catered to a select few. How pathetic!!! Sad on your part really. Why keep advertising this mess on Facebook every day, all day. I’ve seen the perks in the sponsored ads you all buy into. It does no good if you all are not catering to all of your customers. I hope. That it hurts your profits to be honest. People can make or break a business. Your business motto here is unfair, disappointing, biased and to be honest a terrible way to do business. Get it together B&BW 😢

LOVE B&BW rewards but the app needs work. I admit I am one of the people sad that it took Bath & Body Works so long to start a rewards program but it’s better late than never, right?! I think it has a TON of potential but it still needs a lot of work. I can’t tell how much I’ve spent or what exactly I’ve earned. I had a $94 order in a store, a $76 order online and another $35 order online yet my app says I’ve spent $65 in total and the only “reward” I’ve earned is a welcome gift for $10 off of a $30 purchase which isn’t an actual reward, but a loyalty program welcome gift. I did use it and that was nice to have, but where are all my reward points? Where are my free gift rewards advertised in the app? I called customer care and they were very sweet but absolutely clueless, stating that this is app is in beta testing and that they couldn’t help me with issues, only pass on my feedback. I think once they have everything polished this is gonna be amazing! Just not there yet.

There’s nothing like these products they are always on fire. I have been using Bath and body Works since I was a child. It goes back to the satin old glass bottle lotions so I have been using their products for 20 years the original cucumber melon that you would put in your little bag for high school and then, as I got older in my teens, they started dropping the lip glosses, and everyone had to have them, every girls purse had a lipgloss from Bath and body Works in them hand sanitizers dropped, and everyone had to have a matching hand sanitizer. This has became something my child has to always have on her. There is nothing better than Bath and body Works, candles, lotion, body sprays. All of it has never failed. Keep being on fire with your amazing products B&BW !!!

Unbelievably infuriating. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. MAKE THIS APP AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE TO USE. I’m sure this app is amazing IF you’re lucky enough to live in one of the few places you can access it, but I wouldn’t know. Therefore, I cannot give it any more than one star. I understand that there needs to be a trial period but this is going on for way too long. There are so many of your customers who feel left out and upset. I’m tired of seeing people writing reviews saying we need to relax and stop complaining about this. That’s pretty much saying “well *I* have access to the rewards program and that’s all that matters. I don’t care if you can’t get the discounts as long as I can. Stop being ungrateful.” Try living in a state where it’s not available and we’ll see if you still have the same opinion. I haven’t seen the company even responding to anyone’s concerns and negative reviews about this either. They’re vague about everything and have no answers when people ask when the program will be available in their area. I am a huge fan of Bath and Body Works, but to me, they are showing that they don’t really care about their customers. If you can’t give people answers, they will assume you don’t care and aren’t trying to fix the problem. I wondered why I had never heard of this app and now I know. I’m very disappointed. P.S. I never write reviews, so you know it’s bad if I feel the need to say something.

Customer service. I love the products, especially the new items that have been released. Unfortunately, I was truly disappointed by the customer service, or lack of it. Many employees were working, as it was apparent they were preparing for an inventory once they closed. With that being said, multiple times I had to seek out assistance with questions and was made to feel like I was an inconvenience. The male cashier that rang me up was the only employee who was helpful and kind. The female cashier next to him was so rude to her customer, it was extremely uncomfortable. I have a unique perspective because I have worked in a retail setting for 20 plus years, most of that time in management. I’m always understanding considering the experience I hold, however this specific time was different and unexceptable.

A few bugs to address…. I love B&BW and was extremely excited to try this app out, especially since remembering to bring coupons with me is half the battle. Unfortunately, the app has a few bugs and make it extremely frustrating to use. Occasionally, I’m unable to sign-in using my password or Face ID. I just get a generic error message stating “Oops! Something went wrong, please try again.” Removing and reinstalling doesn’t help as the issue seems to be server side. Eventually it starts working again. With the rewards program, I placed an order and used my reward. The item was out of stock, but the reward was not returned to my account. If you need any support with the rewards program, you’ll have to call Customer Service (they’re super friendly, but its clear the app and rewards program is very new and not everyone knows how to navigate customer issues). Within the app, I would love to see: -Point activity history to understand when/how my balance changes -Purchase history/digital receipt for in-store purchases -Ability to see detailed order information and push notifications when an in-store pickup order is ready to be picked-up

I was hacked. There needs to be a spot where you can see post purchases and when rewards were used!! I had 10 rewards used on my account by someone who went into a store and used my number and when I called to find out why all my rewards disappeared the girl saw the purchase but couldn’t validate anything because she was able to see what was bought and was only able to reissue 2 of my rewards. That’s ridiculous I lost 8 rewards because there is no way to prove anything. You need more detailed system of transactions!! And I should’ve gotten all my rewards back I earned them not some random person who used my number somehow!

Room for A LOT of Improvement. This is by far one of the most un-user-friendly apps. For starters, when launching app my email address is pre-populated, I have Face ID and stored my password on phone. When I sign-in it then error codes : email address not valid. I reset password using my email address and it does it again. 2nd, my finger accidentally grazes over the “open account” link and takes me to that page. There’s no way to go back. And if I close the app, it opens back to the new account screen. What?!?! Finally, I used to receive emails about upcoming Reward Offers... gone are they so I often miss either using my accumulated rewards or miss out on specials. So frustrating... unfortunately I like the hand soaps too much ... but now I’m willing to step outside and find something different. However, I have a gift card that I want to use and then I will consider pursuing alternatives.

Great company. I love the products that you sell some things that you sale are like the products that you sale some things that you sale are like no other Products, your candles are amazing. The socks that you guys sale now are totally amazing. In fact, I wish they were more socks created and more sale on socks. Tried to get your Easter socks but you were sold out but they’re so soft and so wonderful I can understand why people would buy them up. I love the men’s products. I started buying products for the men and my family on birthdays and Christmas and I love the sales that you have. Because I’m on a very tight budget I love your price so much please make more socks💖

Same annoying issue. I absolutely love bath and body works it’s my all time favorite store and I would give the app a better rating but I have the same issue that I have continually have to contact customer service about and that’s the rewards points and rewards card it never ever loads no matter what I do I never know my points anymore it constantly says error loading tap to retry and I do that 100 million times and nothing ever works so I constantly have to contact customer support just to see my points and receive a barcode thing from them just to be able to get my reward and the customer service is great they do really help me but yall seriously need to fix this it is super frustrating

Great experience, with one exception... My experience with the Bath and Bodywork’s App has been great, over-all. There is only one thing I wish they would change- when you enter a gift card into your wallet, and then try to make a purchase through the app, using the gift card, you have to re-type the gift card number and pin, in order to make the purchase, even though you already typed those numbers in order to add the gift card to your app. It would be much nicer, and much less of a hassle if you could just automatically apply the gift card in your wallet toward your purchase, without having to type the gift card number and pin all over again!

I love the company and the products I’ve just had trouble with the app. I have had trouble closing out my shopping cart orders two separate times. I would redeem my percentages off or a free gift and purchase enough before taxes to get the free shipping and then when I would go to check out it would never apply the free shipping even with $75 worth of products. two times I’ve had to just close out of the app and drive into town and get what they had in stock from my order in person. I tried to contact customer service but I would get Computer generated troubleshooting. It wasn’t worth the hassle. I only check the app now to see what’s on sale and determine if I want to drive to town. Ha ha ha but like I said I absolutely love the product and the company. Would recommend the product to anyone not so much the app.

Love the store hate the website. I am not sure if this is for the website or Bath and Body Works in general. I do love the store, scents, sales and rewards. That being said I absolutely hate this website. It is slow, and it literally is the worst website I know. I literally tried to check out 6 times and was stopped because an item is out of stock. Since it is so slow I feel like the time it takes to get rid of the out of stock items in your cart makes 3 other things out of stock. It repeats the same issue over and over. So you slowly loose the favorite things in your cart. And you have to remove them, wondering the whole time how many things are you going to lose before you can check out. I know things get out of stock quickly at these great prices. But there has to be a better way to manage this issue on the incredibly slow website. Well, I guess I will try to pay again.

Disappointed (is an understatement). I honestly don’t know what you guys did to “favorites” and it’s extremely frustrating that I seem to constantly get the oops retry message. I love bath and body works and love it list the feature that seems to now not work or simply no longer exist even though it’s still on the app. I loved tracking my favorites to find and buy faster now that’s no longer the case and I find myself used the app less. I’ve deleted & logged out multiple times to see if it fixed the issue, shocker it hasn’t. I’m massively disappointed that my love it list no longer exists. That was one of the main reasons I got the app in the first place to keep track of things I’ve favorited. This is more annoying than the Alter’d State app making me re-login every time. I’m open to any kind of IT help to get the problem fixed but I don’t know what else can be done.

Rewards Statement Unclear. I love B&BW, but the offers are many times unclear. The information is misleading, and customers always have to place a second or third order to reap the rewards of a purchase. I understand this method of return customer sales, but why not do both? Why can’t customers get more perks for a loyal, returning customer’s first order on the new rewards app, AND get points for future orders. In an economic climate where every dollar counts, I ONLY order when I can get a “3 for” or a “5 for.” I never can afford to pay full price for items nor do I want to pay for shipping on an order over $60. (My orders are almost always over $60, because I wait for sales.) Please consider these recommendations as you plan future promotions. Thank you.

Points/ profile updates. I have found out from finally calling after several times of following up from purchasing that my points have been issued to another profile, although when making my purchases the cashier would scan my app barcode i would not get points 72 hours later. I do Wish I would’ve called sooner. Regretfully i was told that my account was inactive but don’t see how if possible if each time i would make a purchase they were going to a strangers profile account. Ti me this is theft and could only be done inhouse. Please research ; when I looked at my profile, I had to update my name, my address, and my contact information. This is my Brandy Dena email address somehow someone else updated it with their name address and phone number. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I’m hopeful to get a response back from leadership or management now that this has been escalated or brought to your attention

Confusing , making it difficult to order. I have the app and I find it difficult to use, especially the promo codes/coupons/discounts. Also, the birthday gift/free product up to whatever amount (ex: $9.95) says to go to “body care”. You go to body care and all products, at all prices, are listed. It would be nice to just have a button to “shop for birthday gift” and it will show you the items you are eligible for-in that category and for the “UP TO” amount. Lastly, scents that would be more geared to the females in the 3 in 1 would be great! Because that type of product is not available for females, I use the men’s product. My favorite was the OAK scent and I’m down to my last bit. 🙁 I know you have hair care products now, but I doubt I will be using them. I have no interest at all.

Oops! Why me??. I received an email to join the VIP and I have attempted on MANY occasions to download this app, login with my same credentials and all I keep getting is “Oops, something went wrong!” I’ve missed coupons because they only show on the main page of my email but even logging into the browser does not show “My Rewards”. However, my email does show that I’m a VIP. Look, I spend a lot of money wit B&BW and like a previous reviewer, I’m tired of hearing my friends talk about coupons they’ve used and how much they’ve saved. Hello?? Hello? B&BW….when will this be fixed. I am in Indy and I delete the app everyday, re-download, in hopes that today will be the day that I am able to successfully “Ooops, log in”. Almost 3 weeks now and cannot login.

Too many glitches. The app is easy to navigate and provides easy access to rewards and promotions! Unfortunately, it constantly glitches. I have been trying to place my order for almost 2 hours. It took opening and closing the app multiple times before the “set store” function worked when I was changing my store. Items in my cart disappeared and I had to add them back more than once. About an hour into trying to place my order, the app closed completely for no apparent reason and when I opened it back up the app had me logged out. I panicked thinking my cart would be empty and quickly logged back in. I was very relieved to see that my cart had been saved. Overall, the potential functionality of the app seems very easy and helpful but the glitches really need to be worked out so that the app is more reliable.

Shipping vs picking up. It sounds like the picking up option is new which is weird since it seems everywhere has different options of shipping or pick up. Not sure if this is intentional but the shipping option and the pick up in store option have their own which I kinda don’t like because it is just inconvenient and the only way I’ve found to change from shipping to pick up is to put in the address and -then- you can change it. Even after I figured out how to change it I was still having issues. The app would not buffer and for some reason was giving me multiple of an item which I hadn’t even reviewed since I put it in my bag the first time. I was getting frustrated with the app, technology (I’m tech savvy) and/or myself

Billing. Would have been 5 star but there should be an easier way to add gift cards for payment especially if they are already in your “wallet”. Added them manually after having added them to the “wallet”. Then had to manually enter them in the payment area which took forever due to the Recaptcha deal not working properly. Had to click on it saying I’m not a robot over 10 times each to finally get a check mark and answer question. Please update the app to make this easier. Perhaps allow camera to scan gift card for payment! Love the products and with a recent cancer diagnosis for my husband I will be shopping more online again just for preventative measures.

Member review. I love this app and the products they provide! So many beautiful scents and haven’t had a problem with my sensitive skin. My only complain what so ever for a 4 star review is I have rewards and I can never place them whenever I’m in checkout. The only time they’ve worked is in person. I work nightshift so going in store isn’t always possible with my schedule. Otherwise I adore this business, scents seasonally always make me happy. I get compliments from midnight amber glow and vampire blood seasonal scents which I have made stables by purchasing them in bulk. I adore them and so many more! Midnight amber glow, sweet whiskey, Dahlia, Vampire blood, sunset glow, and mahogany and teakwood even ocean as the men’s fragrance is fantastic! Their cocoa and shea is wonderful for my sensitive skin, their oatmeal colloquial is also fantastic!

Need free shipping. I spend a lot of money every time I place an order, and I always have to pay for shipping. They never give you free shipping unless you have to pay the full amount for whatever you are buying instead of paying sale amount. I refuse to pay $7 per diffuser and would rather wait until they are on sale bc they are not lasting as long as they used to. I ordered a ton of the hand foaming soaps last time and a couple of them had exploded in the box and I could not get ahold of anyone in email or phone. The phone would not get me a speaking person and email would not respond after multiple emails. I kept getting the runaround and by then it had been weeks! They need to rethink the way they treat paying customers bc I am seriously thinking about finding another brand and taking my hundreds of dollars to another store who cares about future sales from faithful customers.

Concerned Customer. I noticed earlier in the year that I was not receiving points for the purchases that I was making. I assumed that the reward program was behind and would update my points. I ordered some items on October 24th and notice again my points was not updated I called several times to check into this. They was having computer problems so I had to call back. When I called back the representative on the phone was very rude and condescending on the phone. I then had to let her know that I did not appreciate her attitude and she need to watch her tone and her attitude with me. I told her instead of acting like I was in the wrong she should have apologized and said she would make sure everything was looked into and corrected, instead she was like “do you have receipts,” and other rude questions. She was quite rude until I told her to correct her attitude. Anyway, I noticed on my account that my points have been updated but it’s still not all the points I am owed. Anyway, watch your account if you are in the reward program. You are promise 1 point for every dollar you spend. Thank you!

Enjoy The Products. I love the smells that the candles, wallflowers and room spays leave throughout my home. The candles burn evenly and I do not end up having to throw one away that does not burn well. I once purchased a candle on EBay that the women had great reviews. It was a little pricey but I did it , because why would someone write something that wasn’t true. Well I finally received the candle and it di not burn very well and I ended up losing my money. I was upset and I gave her a horrible review. She ended by getting me black balled on EDay I am no longer allowed on the site. So buyer beware. I do not have to worry about this company they stand by there products.

Can’t turn off notifications. This app was great in the beginning, however I got irritated with having too many notifications. I tried 40 times to turn them off in the settings in the app and on my iPhone, but I still continue to get some notifications at random. I have since had to delete the app because there was absolutely no way at all to make it stop sending me messages on my screen. I only shop BBW when I want to. I do not need to be told every time there is a sale. When I need to use the app again I’ll download it at that time but I will delete it afterwards since I know there is no way to make the reminders stop.

Confused. All of a sudden, I cannot access my cart. I’ve had the app for as long as I can remember and have placed many orders but as of January 2022 my cart won’t load and I can not check out. I just goes blank white or I see it trying to load and it’s faded In the background but then just goes blank white. I’ve tried online instead of the app and same thing happens and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times. I just wanted to order a bunch from the huge sale they were having but couldn’t. I know I could go in a store but really that defeats the purpose of having an app and delivery. I like ordering online. Don’t know what to do now?? Please help!

Seasonal products. It’s very disappointing to hear that the vanilla scented body spray that I have worn for years has been discontinued! I did, however, buy the vanilla spray that you still carry, although it has been changed somewhat during the special sale that you had. When I got home with it and tried to wear it, put the body spray on only to find that it had no scent at all! Since your store is about a 30 minute drive from my home the store manager said that they could not just swap out the body spray for one that they had in the store because what I had bought was a seasonal product! I was very disappointed and irritated because I was getting pretty much the same product, but they would not exchange it for the same product. In order to get the same, three bottles of body spray, it’s ended up costing me about $60! I don’t know whether I’m going to continue shopping at bath and Bodyworks because I felt like that was a very bad policy. It was through no fault of my own that I got home with body spray I had no scent. I just felt like the management of the stores really need to know what happened so that possibly it won’t happen to another customer! Thank you for listening, Karen Harrison

Gem glams. I’m personally loving a lot of bath and body works products make my skin loving great and your fragrance plug ins and oils got my home smelling heavenly scented plus I love the matching home sprays they complement your compleat line I always make it a point of purchasing a pockit back holders for my hand sanitizers and my loves your hair mask just a little and my is silky smooth but over all your best one yet is your coco Shea honey line they are must for me I can’t shower without them I never run out !! plz don’t ever discontinue any one of these products!! Keep making and sending all your stores your festive home items there no One in my book and must haves I can’t resist I love you guys at bath and body works keep em comeing 👍🏻

Latest update doesn’t work. I have used this app for years … all of the sudden, after the last update, the shopping tab doesn’t work. I see others have written reviews saying they have the same issue. There is no way to report the problem via the App Store or bath & body works. This update came out SIX days ago, it seems as if nothing is being done to fix it … so you’re losing business … at least you’re losing mine … I refuse to use the website out of principal … fix the app, or at least offer us a way to report issues and feel heard … until then, I won’t give you any more of my money.

Found 40% off!. I joined the app while shopping in store because I went over budget lol The online store was offering 40% off all items today, so I was in budget! The store allowed me to use the “pick up in store” feature for the items in my in-store basket. A few items according to the online store had to be shipped bc they were not available for pickup, despite being in my hands. The store price matched those with 40% off. I deleted them from my virtual app cart before submitting the order. Then I got all of my items immediately for 40% off without paying $6.99 shipping & handling! I was able to purchase everything I wanted and stay within my budget! 😃😃

Works Just Fine!. IDK why people are so quick to give negative remarks after using the app ONE TIME. It CLEARLY says this is a trial run in certain areas! I’m in North Carolina and this app works just fine. I went into one of the stores, was at checkout and the cashier asked if I’d downloaded the app. I responded that I hadn’t b/c I didn’t know they had one. So she suggested that I download it and save some money. I did and was able to get an additional 2 aromatherapy products for just $2...that’s right no typo it was only $2. So if you don’t like saving money then save yourself the time and don’t download this app. If you DO like saving money and like an app that clearly lays out where the weeks deals, coupons are then this is the app for you. Love this app!

Love it but would like more options. I love B&BW and their rewards system. I always feel great at their stores because their customer service is always so nice. The app won’t load my Love It list which made it easier to quickly find my favorites and order them. I didn’t see a customer service option on the app to help get this fixed so I figured I’d write about it on here. 💖💐 Also, they currently don’t have a big selection of scents and they kind of smell alike. I LOVED the French Lavender and Honey scent they had and I always stocked up on it. Thankfully I still have some left but I’m going to be sad when I run out 😩. I also loved the aromatherapy scent with vanilla and patchouli. That scent was so calming and I always got compliments on it. Please bring some old scents back!!

What’s the point?. There’s no shopping on this app the only thing you can look at is your account and your rewards maybe find a location close to home and you already know where that’s at. So why waste space on my phone? Am I missing something here? This rating is not to rate their products it is to rate the app. Again am I missing something here?I’ve seen ratings asking why so many gave a negative review when it’s been in testing well I don’t know about everyone else but I’ve had this app for at least 3+ years! They should at least have shopping on it their partners do. Oh I get it I see the people complaining about people complaining it’s a rewards app but wait we get them anyway so it should be a given having an online account you shouldn’t need an app wasting space just to look at rewards or anything else I mentioned is available online or in store. The app has 2.6 stars as of this writing on Google play why did they get it right?

Could be good with the right fixes. I like the Bath & Body Rewards program, but this app needs several fixes. It keeps track of spending and giving the rewards as it states. However, pulling up the rewards in the app is challenging. There are times the rewards are there. Other times, the rewards disappear though they were unused and not expired, only to return a few days later. No rhyme or reason to it. I’ve been told several times to refresh the page and to uninstall and reinstall the app. Both of which have not worked. Also, I think the app should be able to store your receipts, which it does not. It would be handy to have them in the app when making an exchange or a return, though Bath & Body is REALLY good about both of those. Lastly, the only way for the cashier to scan your rewards card or reward coupons is to take your phone out of your hands in order to scan it from your phone. That is ridiculous! I don’t know if it’s just the B&B that I go to or all of them that do this. They DEFINITELY need to change this. I can’t see a reason why their scanner can’t be long enough to reach out over the counter to scan something from your phone. In its current version, the app is very simplistic. There isn’t much to the app. Good ideas behind the program, just needs help with the app!

Everything is fine except for 3 things. One that I feel would be a very simple fix is that the wishlist doesn’t work at all. You can like things, but the page always fails to load. The other is the struggle to reach a representative for customer service. I couldn’t even look for it on the app I had to wander around the website until I was able to chat with someone, who was very helpful with my order btw. Happy to say the issue was remedied, but I can’t imagine the other people who couldn’t find that help. Also actually getting notifications when they have sales, there seems to be nothing for that at least on iPhone. Love the layout of the app, love how easy it is to order, but they really need to fix these things.

Nice to Shop but…. The Bath & Bodyworks app is nice to shop and see all they have to offer, but there is really way too much going on. It would be so convenient if the app offered to automatically show at checkout what offers were still available as a part of VIP membership which best benefits the sale instead of the user needing to bounce around from wallet to checkout repeatedly trying to match the best promotional discount to their purchase. Most users would greatly appreciate the timesaver of Bath & Bodyworks taking the guess work out and going ahead and placing the best promotional deal in our checkout cart so we can order and know Bath & Bodyworks was considerate of our time as we are more able to get through the process, know we will be soon receiving the item(s) we want at the best possible price, and move on with our busy life.

Love the store, app needs work. Giving it one star just for the app. I’m a regular at Bath and Body works. Love the store and recently came to know that the loyalty program was extended to my area. Got a one day promotion for free fall items for loyalty members. Tried buying it and picking it up in the store but it would continuously keep spinning and wouldn’t change to pickup even when the store showed available. It seems like some backend API is timing out because of some reason. Anyway, the design is also not super intuitive. I wish the energy and love that you feel from store associates was replicated in the app. It seems to be very mediocre and clunky. Hoping that promotions work in the future.

Customer Service. I love Bath & Body works, every time I go in there to shop the customer service is Awesome. My favorite scent is Rose water Ivey, I recently tried the Strawberry Poundcake, and now it to is one of my favorites, but hey I can’t just say those two are my favorites I have so many. I love Bath & Body works, from the body sprays and lotions to the candles and wall flowers. I am a loyal shopper and my only complaint is I see people with these coupons they get in the mail and I have been requesting coupons like that for about two years and I have yet to receive any, I’ve been told they only send those to people who doesn’t shop there often, but I think that is so unfair, why not send coupons to your loyal customers as well, I too like saving money as well. Thanks

App is only for rewards card and sales ads. I downloaded this app months ago because there was an in-store incentive but I’ve found no other use for it since then. There is no seamless in-app store to purchase the products, as if you were buying online. The app only shows you your rewards account number, points accumulated, and the number of promotions they have going on. If you tap on a sale, the app directs your device to open the store page on a web browser, meaning the app itself doesn’t have much function. It’s basically the app version of those email marketing ads. The only use I would’ve gotten was the ease of scanning my rewards card but even that function is temporarily obsolete because of all the closed stores during the pandemic. Two stars because the app doesn’t claim to be any more than it is. At this point though, most apps do have that in-app store option so this pales in comparison by a wide margin.

Disappointingly unfair!!. I’m frustrated and disappointed that only a select few states are allowed access to the perks app. And I read in the reviews that the testing phase of the app (with the promise to add additional customers/states) has been over two years, that’s ridiculous!! Wish I had known this/read reviews beforehand, wouldn’t have ordered from your company! My biggest complaint is those special few get advanced notice of sales and promotions, which means they get the best selections before they sell out. I have been closely watching my email for candle sales, as soon as one came up this morning, I had my order ready to place within minutes. Before I could click checkout, EVERY SINGLE new candle scent I had in my basket was sold out!! I’m talking it took all of 15 minutes for them to sell out of them!!! Again, people who can access the app get all the good stuff!!! I’ve been a loyal customer of B&BW for years, but Yankee candle is becoming more and more appealing!!!

I LOVE this app and bath and body works!. I’ve purchased so many products from bath and body works that you could call me the bath and body works queen. My favorite scent is the Rose water and Ivy. I just bought a new bottle of the hand soap because I used the soap so fast not realizing how amazing It would smell while washing my hands. This app is great, after purchases in store or online you can get special points that will lead to a reward if you collect enough points! I recently just got my first reward and it’s an exciting feeling. This app cuts you online deals and offers chances for you to see exclusive products. What’s not to love? I definitely recommend downloading.

Won’t load. For a week now, every time I open the app it loads but then page is frozen and I’m not able to do anything. I can’t login, NOTHING! So it’s useless at this point. If I go online and search/open website I am able to login & shop. I will delete this app if it’s not working today. If it’s due to too much traffic due to semi annual sales then you need to address this problem & update it to be able to handle the traffic..your prices continue to rise while the product quality continues to drop so you’d think with your high prices you’d be able to keep the app running smoothly. It’s sad, the quality of EVERYTHING continues to dwindle but prices continue to rise..if consumers would stop buying (unless absolutely necessary) they would have to up their quality during manufacturing. But nothing changes if we keep buying poor quality products! That’s every consumer product not just B&BW.

Candle sale. I wait all year for the chestnut and clove candle. It screams the holidays to me. There are times that I will burn the entire candle in one day. I love it so much. I looked online about a week before the candle sale started and was relieved to see it. I set the alarm on phone for the night before the sale. They were no longer on the website.I would understand if they were out of stock maybe after the first day of the sale but not before it even started. For some reason this one is rarely sent to the stores???? I have a hard time understanding why there is such an issue with this one when I see some of the ones that make it in the stores. I went to my local Bath and body to see if I could find anything that smelled anything like it and I had to leave after not too long, it stunk so bad in there. Please reconsider next year and make plenty, so I don’t look on eBay and find them fir sale for +$30 😡

Frustrated. I love bath and body works products. I downloaded the app in hopes that it would make it easier to shop for my favorite products, only to find that it is only available for people who live within their rewards program availability states. I don’t care about this program. I wanted to have the ease of use of shopping from an app. What I feel now is that I don’t matter. That only the people living within the availability of the this program are valued. I don’t like shopping in the stores. The high volume of shoppers makes the experience stressful. The website works fine but can be a bit cumbersome. I am now left with the decision as to find a new company for my fragrance needs or continue as I have for the last few years. Which obviously isn’t working well for me as I was eager to find a better shopping experience.

What the heck B&BW. So I have a $52 order and my tax was two dollars but then it changed to $58 and it changed my tax it even though I didn’t buy anything or press anything to ship or change anything I didn’t do anything but they charge me more for nothing and also I think you’re very stupid that there is no delete button you have to go through a bunch of drama like if you want to delete it, because if you found out that it was too much money on your cart and you wanted to delete something it’s super hard to like you have to go back go back in delete it and then something something to it and then you have to go back do you have to restart the whole thing it’s super stupid so that’s a body works. I think you need to fix the bug or just fix the app. Thank you for reading this.☺️

Disappointed. The app is glitching this new update is not working. I’m unable to checkout or remove unavailable items from my cart and they are being added to my total bill. Please fix. The page is not configured correctly total amount does not show up when checking out and it’s not applying my discounts. The ‘X’ to take items off is no longer showing up. Trying to place an order today and the site will not let me. I have uninstalled ,reinstalled and even tried the desktop version still showing up the same. *Update: When I logged in on the laptop I was able to remove items and completed my purchase with no issues. I guess the mobile app is glitching.

Deleting items FEOM cart SUUUUUHCKS. The convenience of shopping online is amazing when I have to work the day of super tipper sales, although when something is out of stock, please just automatically take it out of my cart!!! It takes so long with the buffering to get it deleted, by then another item has become out of stock and I can’t even check out waiting on the cart to update kinda stressful I missed out on a few candles due to that. And when you spend $50 shipping should be free B&BW is so greedy and it takes forever. Other than that I love bath and body works but it’s a hustle to get good deals. You wanted a review so here’s my ONLY complaint :)

Cannot use App rewards at most locations. Bath & Body Works - how do you create an App that accumulates reward points for repeat customers, but then I cannot use my rewards at MOST of your locations?! I was told over a year ago at the Bath & Body Works in Fishers, IN they were working on coordinating the App so loyal, long time customers could actually receive their rewards they accumulated, but to my surprise when I made a trip to the same Fishers, IN location today I could not redeem my ‘birthday’ reward?! It does not make sense a company creates an App to accumulate points to get rewards, but then you cannot use the rewards off the App at most stores! Please rectify this!

Why I love all of your products. Why I love all of your products…entering your store or shopping on line, I feel like this is a personal, relaxing time to do something for me or the one I’m buying for! The candles brings new experiences, scents that can makes new memories for the day. The lotions and fragrance sprays makes me free relaxed, confident that I smell so good! After a long day, as I enter into my home, the great scents from the wall flowers can make the stress of the day fade to a relaxed mood. Then top it off, the relax body and massage oils… sleep comes like a dream! I love buying these products for my daughter, 3 granddaughters. They love getting them for gifts or when they come to visit me! I love that too! For the men in my life…(husband, son, son-in-law) were very excited they receive cologne and sprays for Christmas! They now like to visit the stores and going on line too! “Oh Silly me”… why do we like your products?? With each product, it’s always a personal experience, that makes us all feel special! Thank you for rewarding us!

Why can’t I get the app in the state of Alabama?. Firstly, I want to point that I absolutely love Bath & Body Works. I live in between the Spanish Fort and Foley location in the state of Alabama. I have had nothing but great service at each one. I hope to see y’all figure this out because your sales would more than likely go up through the app, just saying. Maybe you don’t need the money because you have so many buyers on the app already and don’t care about your other customers? I wish the ones in the states that can’t get it, could get an explanation of why or even WHEN we will get access. I’ve read multiple reviews with so many different states that can’t get the app, which is ridiculous! I want to note- I don’t want to be a Karen about the situation. I’m not the type to normally give company’s bad reviews just because it could hurt the company in so many ways. But this one quite frankly needs its 1 star.

3 years limited test?. 3 years for a limited market test is excessive. If you’ve not arrived at a point for a more general release in that time for an app/program of this nature, you probably never will be, which is disappointing. Honestly, I am less interested in a rewards program than I am in an app I can shop with. I love your products, I just wonder why you make it difficult for me to spend money with you. Especially during the pandemic. First world problems maybe, but navigating the main website in safari is somewhat kludgy compared to a shopping experiences inside an app created for that purpose. Which brings me to my next review point: it needs native iPad support alongside the iPhone orientation, and stop being an iPhone app forced to run in a tablet.

Useless. I find this app to be totally useless. Bath and body Works ends up connecting your loyalty # to your credit card and your name so you never end up using this app except to see your points. I also discovered that my points weren’t even correct anyways. When I contacted Bath And Bodyworks they said that somehow when initially setting up my account in the store that the employee misspelled my email address and my points were going towards that wrong email. However, my Bath and Bodyworks app was using my correctly spelled email. Every purchase I was making was going towards the account linked to the misspelled email. Ultimately, they said they would delete the incorrect account and email so that way I only had one loyalty account but they would not transfer over my points. Made no sense to me since they are the ones who misspelled my email and had all my points going to that account.
