The applications Nexomon was published in the category Games on 2017-08-10 and was developed by LIME TURTLE, INC.. The file size is 1.10 GB. The current version is 1.4.1 and works well on 10.0 and high ios versions.
This is a quick update with various minor improvements:
* You may continue leveling up beyond level 99.
* Any excess experience after leveling up will be added back to the Nexomon instead of resetting it back to zero.
* The credits now have additional artwork.
* Ventra's boss battle has been made easier.
* Possible fix for crashes during Merida's volleyball scene.
* Some unreachable items can be obtained now.
* We have removed the 'evolution boost' feature due to an issue it introduced. We will implement it after the multiplayer update.
Scratch what I said devs went ahead and fixed it. Thank you so much. Also multiplayer being added double the thanks. Keep it up.
After giving Nexomon a chance, and playing non-stop since it was released, I am sorry to have to say that this game is a disaster. (Honestly, avoid this! Do not buy!) I'm not just referring to all the Pay2Win-type rigged battles (miss, miss, miss), level imbalances, and tedious EXP gain problems that force the player to grind up their team for days. The biggest problem is this: there is just way too much emphasis on the storyline ("save teh humanz!") rather than bonding with your Nexomon. And the storyline is downright terrible, and just way overkill on the action, drama, violence, and mean-spiritedness. But I gave Nexomon a try, because I was hoping with all my heart that it would be like the good old Pokémon games without any philanthrope brainwashing infused within the story. But it's just as bad as the horrid newfangled Pokémon games' storylines, with their disgusting philanthropic, Utopian themes. A former Pokémon fan (since the mid 90s), I quit Pokémon (and Nintendo) forever in 2013 after playing X/Y; it enraged and sickened me, because I wasn't able to make the choice to side with the TRUE hero of the game, who was unjustly and wrongly demonized and portrayed as the villain -- because he wished to put an end to human evil? (Nintendo is so stupid!) And after painfully suffering through Pokémon's gradual downfall, I am just so jaded when it comes to these saccharine, sappy, sickeningly philanthropic and utopian-idealist "save humankind!" themes in these types of games. I am admittedly a misanthrope; I dislike humankind. I have no interest in playing the role of some sort of Mary Sue/Chosen One/Superhero, and "saving humanity" miraculously from some kind of all-powerful doomsday force, and being forever adored by all. Nay to that claptrap -- I say, bring on the Fire and Brimstone. 🔥 I honestly don't know why these types of grossly overused and overrated "human-kid-saves-the-world" stories are so common in games (and all types of media), and still accepted and even enjoyed by most people. It's like children being brainwashed by some New World Order, Utopian philanthrope idealists. Nintendo did plenty of that, and I should have known better than to play Nexomon, seeing as Nexomon is clearly made by fans of Pokémon. I could understand naive young children feeling empowered to "save the world" and be the so-called "hero" in their little fantasies when they play these games. But if you're a grown adult who grew up with the original Pokémon Red/Blue versions, this kind of harshly morally-restricted storyline we see in Nexomon and newer Pokémon games, where you are dragged around on an invisible leash and forced to go along with the so-called "good guys" (those naive pests who call themselves your "friends") without being able to make any choices yourself based on your own beliefs, you should be turned off by this kind of nonsensical, unrealistic philanthrope fantasy tale. At one point in this game, you are told by the ghost of some long-dead old coot philanthrope "hero" (who had tried to stop Omnicron ages ago) that he believes ALL Nexomon are actually "inherently evil". What!? HUMANS are inherently evil! It's called Original Sin. That old coot doesn't have a leg to stand on with his hypocritical statement. Just because Omnicron is a much more powerful and intelligent alien being who sought to take Earth away from humans, that automatically means he and his Nexomon brood are evil? Sorry, but this is an extremely shallow, childish way of looking at it. Just because a force opposes humankind doesn't automatically mean it is "evil". In a broader point of view (something you might read in a well-written sci-fi novel), any super-intelligent and powerful alien life form who saw how sinful and destructive human beings are would likely try to eliminate humankind from Earth for the good of the universe. TL;DR: The developers are shallow-minded philanthropes. To heck with this game. Just another Pay2Win mobile Pokémon knockoff complete with human-glorifying Utopian philosophy. Unless you are a flaming philanthrope, don't bother with this nonsense. (P.S. Zetta is the ONLY good thing in this game, and I REFUSE to be his enemy! ⚡️Long live the brilliant Champion of Lightning!⚡️ And, to quote him, " Know your place, humans. ")
The quality of this game is very good. Different animations for different attacks. Very smooth play through. And of course very cool designed monsters to collect. Yes it got many ideas from Pokémon but I feel as though this game has a unique quality that I look forward to finishing.
This is becoming my favorite game on my iPhone.
I love the final boss in fact the game was fun because of the challenge. It's a great game and I love it.
If u loved catching them all, u will love taming them all, Nexomon style! Love this game, look fwd to updates to the story :) would buy it again for sure
This game is quite the surprise. A well developed, beautifully designed gem that is well worth the cost. If you are a Pokémon fan, you will love this game! And you don't lose your moves as you level! What!? Yeah it's great. Buy it. Play it. Love it.
Best game I played in a every long time can't wait for pvp
I would give this a 5 star like it deserves, but the robot that is your partner is so demanding, and overall ruins the game too me. Also the exp is horrible, you get more exp by battling one on one enemies than a whole team, there also is no increase in exp by beating high level enemies! I had a level 18 vs 30, and only get like 100 exp, if that! Also the legendaries need to give way more exp if they are that hard
I am a huge fan of what this game has to offer. I particularly like the story, and I like how the story takes a different approach than Pokémon. I love the constant battles and also the dialogue that follows it. However, I do not like how the current update stops leveling up at 99. I do not think the dev team should copy Pokémon, but perhaps go their own way while still creating a fun and addicting game.
Great content, and the best part is that the dev team is super active and is constantly working on updates to improve and expand the game.
Not only does this app have a superb storyline but it also has wonderful graphics. Thank you for finally making the game I have been looking for this entire year!
Okay so I don't usually write reviews for apps but I had to for this game. Huge Pokémon fan have played from every game from Red and Blue to Sun and Moon. I wasn't really expecting much from a Pokémon themed game since most I've tried have utterly failed. But you can see from the very start that this game is filled with hidden potential. It took me around 15 hours to beat the game and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now there are some things I'd like to mention that devs should look into improving. You end up missing some attacks against other nexomon quite frequently and it will probably aggravate other people, I didn't see it as such a huge deal. The weaknesses for elements and moves are easy to pick up but might be confusing at the start. The story is good and I love how they break the 4th wall. One thing that I must say is that the exp share is pretty much needed if you want a quick and easy finish of the game, Otherwise it gets kind of hard due to training individual Nexomon one by one. I'm anxious and excited for the new updates. Keep doing your thing developers, it's a well made game. I've so far bought 20 dollars worth of diamonds and got two legendaries. 5 stars. Beautiful game. PS: look into some PvP and maybe some Sort of interaction with other players if possible. More moves is always a plus. And being able to capture legendary aside from using diamonds.
Great job so far, there is something I would like to suggest. Legendary's speed is wired, I hope it can become faster. And Legendary s skill is only one elemental, from my perspective, for now the mega is better than legend. I hope you guys can make legend more stronger or it's quite disappointing.
The game captures the birds eye camera magic that Pokémon and Zelda have long since strayed from. Designers of the game did and honest job making Nexomons not replicate the Pokémon monsters, unlike a lot of other apps on the store. (e.i. seeing a Pikachu named ElectricRat). There are some things that disappoint me though. -lack of a map -lack of a settings/options menu for adjusting individual volumes and turning off the god forsaken narrator -lack of NexoTrap types -NexoDex (Database) is hard to navigate and the 'screen' is too small -all zones are small areas that are about the size of your screen. (Why have panning environments if your just going to have the area extend one square more that the amount present on the screen. -a lack of 'Tamers' to fight -the exp share is a buyable item not an obtainable (honestly it should be a hard to achieve end game item, not just buyable) -the storyline needs some polish -finally fire the narrator; or have him chain smoke to change his voice. Nothing he says is pertinent, important, necessary, profound, insightful, or helpful. Other than that, the game is fine.
How to Mute the game sounds?? Plss Help I cant find the setting or whatsoever. Thank you in advance. Edit: I found out its kinda hard to keep up with the lvl of our opponents, like i need to spends hours lvling up ALL my nexomon before ill battle all new opponents, I hope they played this and they will know a normal person will have a hard time to catch up. Edit: Does weakining and status effect give higher chance to catch the nexomon? Please help, Thank you in advance. *Edit: 8/20/2017 just finished the game. When will the new story update will come out?
I don't usually leave reviews, but this game impressed me very much. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to pass the time, especially if games similar to Pokémon are enjoyable to him/her. The graphics are exceptional and the map itself is enormous and rich. The story, however, is by far the best quality of this game. As a side note, perhaps adding an option to find exactly where a Nexomon is found would be beneficial to players. Other than that, the game is amazing.
I was curious what kind of trash game did they make again, but it turns out it is simply amazing. This game is good because it is the best Pokémon style game on the App Store! I love this game!
one of best！
