A genre done right. When a friend showed me Nexomon, I just figured it would be “just another Pokémon clone”, but I was, and still am amazed at the differences between the two. Nexomon shares the same core gameplay with Pokémon, but unlike Pokémon (with the exception of Black and White) Nexomon is very story driven. And I must say, I enjoyed playing Nexomon more then Pokémon (With the exception of b&w lol)! A story driven game is only entertaining if the story is good, and Nexomon has absolutely nailed the story! Having the Nexomon themselves be the villains was a great decision, as it makes you really think about your Nexomon friends, and how you use them. 10/10 The only thing I would change, is Ron. I feel like his dialogue should change, depending on the situation. It’ll make him feel more like a character, and less like a generic shop clerk (like, the first time you go to a shop after saving the world, maybe he should say something like “hey kid, glad to see you in one piece”)

Near Perfect But With Flaws. This is an amazing game and the third time I’ve played through it. It’s extremely challenging without being frustrating and if you save up your gems the game can be extremely easy. The main story mode is amazing and the Netherworld story is pretty good too. I like the part where there’s a nightmarish plot twist but I won’t spoil it. It’s the out of game content that needs improving. After you complete the last piece of the game (Catching all the wardens) there’s nothing you can really do except complete the Nexodata thing. But you can’t really hold the game accountable for that. All games get boring after they end. Also, the Nexomon arena just doesn’t work. It takes ages to find a match and when you finally get in one it freezes. I once left it to load for an hour and it still didn’t work (with the bot Fluffy). I hate how it doesn’t work as I want to be able to play with friends. Also, after you complete the netherworld, there isn’t much you can do. I understand that this is fine, as that was the after game but now the game is just taking up storage and I don’t want to delete it because I might lose my data. Those two flaws are why I can’t give the game 5*. I can’t wait for Nexomon 2 to come out though!

Love it! But one thing.... Before I got this game, I thought to myself, just another try hard Pokémon game. Boy, was I wrong. Eventually I got the game and I was brought into the world of Nexomon. I made it into the //SPOILER AND PROBLEM// Ghost town and I then made it to the maze in the graveyard. I would be in the maze for hours and I would even talk to the wisps repeatedly and I still wouldn’t get out. I would do what they said repeatedly and sometimes accidentally go to close to the bottom and get taken out of the maze. It would annoy me deeply and I was wondering how many times it would take me to get out of the maze the way the wisps told me??? //END OF SPOILER// Other than that one problem, I have had an amazing time on this game and I am surprised that not many people have got it yet. Thank you so much for making this game though!

Changing the Meta. This game by far has gone above and beyond with its story line. I couldn’t predict the outcome of the game even until the end, I had no clue of some events and plot twists. The amount of Nexomon to Catch is insane, I love the abilities and how they are used. I immensely enjoy the amount of strategy it takes to actually set up a solid team and effectively use items to win! You can’t just level up one Nexomon and expect to steam roll everyone because upon switching to a new Nexomon, your opponent gets a free jab at you. There are a few things I would like to see different, for example, speed stats aren’t relevant because the player always goes first, and I would like to see base damage of skills rather than its stamina usage, but all in all, this game is worthy of 5 stars and I surely will be playing this game again!

It’s own thing. I LOVE this game. Not only is this not even a pay to win game but it’s a PLAY to win game. So there is common, uncommon, rare, mega rare, and special Nexomon you can get. Well each rank are easily obtainable as long as you try to level up your nexomon and fight a lot. The nexomon even level up and evolve quickly depending on how much you play in general. I have my own idea, why not have a multiplayer trade on Nexomon? I have special Nexomon and mega rare ones that would be nice for me to be able to trade them with other players and or have side quests for NCPs “looking” for a certain Nexomon and then it can be a chance to win more diamonds and or coins depending on the rank of Nexomon that NCP wants. Just a idea! I love this game regardless. Even the online mood.

The best game of it’s kind... for mobile. I was sick and tired of downloading crappy emulator Pokémon games because the controls are awkward and it’s hard to trust the software... I felt for a long time that any game ending in “mon” was just a Pokémon rip off. I took the plunge, spent a dollar, and was extremely satisfied with the gameplay and originality of Nexomon! It’s very fun, the graphics are clean, and there’s a lot of humor all ages can appreciate. I particularly liked that you absolutely have to create a diverse team, and in almost every tamer battle you will end up using your entire roster; unlike Pokémon where one really strong fire type can take out a grass trainers entire team. The battles require strategy and status effects play a big part in tougher battles... tip: confusion and bind effects are HUGE!

Actually amazing. Never written a review before but this game made me do it. It is obviously a “Pokémon clone” but it actually surpasses it in many ways. The main one being the storyline, which is actually interesting and compelling (not to mention self-aware and funny at parts too). The combat is also pretty fast paced, and I love the fact that Nexomon have skill trees which allow you to swap out moves at will. The Nexomon are all very creative in their designs and the effects for the moves feel very impactful. Took me about 24 hours of game time to beat the main story (without the exp multiplier for almost all off it which you should definitely save gems for), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is another story and legendary hunting after it! Definitely have gotten my value out of the game already and have a lot more to play!!

Fun adventure. A refreshing monster-collecting and battling RPG adventure. The storyline is enchanting and the characters are well designed and likable. The designs of the Nexomons are original and the animations are very smooth. The game isn’t P2W (pay to win) which is really nice. The extra purchase options will make the game easier, faster, or adds more customization options, but they’re not necessary at all to complete the game. The soundtrack is rather beautiful: relaxing at times and intense when appropriate. The creators and the team did a great job at developing this game and creating this universe. I only have a small issue with the game, and that is with the battle system. The statistics of the monsters isn’t well explained. Battling is very fluid for beginners to this genre of games, but could be very awkward for more advanced players. Most monsters don’t have very diverse strengths in stats with others of the same rarity level. Abilities/moves also don’t have an adequate description. You only know the energy costs for the moves, but the game doesn’t provide its Power or Accuracy. Also, status inflicting moves have a ridiculously low percent of landing. If the developers can change up the battling mechanics, this game would be perfect.

The best adventure game ever. Alright holy crap this was one amazing ride for anyone who hasn’t played this play it also if you haven’t play micromon but yeah this game was amazing with the story being fun the characters breaking the forth wall or how this game is pretty challenging. You see there are people out there that would call this a Pokémon copy but in my opinion this could very well stand on its own. I love the Characters in this game. The Nexomon are really amazing to in were they look amazing. One of my favorite parts is that they brought references of micromon to this game because I lovers that game so much and how it brought more backstory to it like what happened in the ending or who created micromon. This is definitely one of the best games in the App Store and I recommend it to anyone. One thing you should do hopefully is play micromon before this so you could get where the references are coming from. One big thing I like is that rare and mega rare Nexomon have 3 evolutions so it makes it better to collect them and more rewarding. All in all this is one amazing game and I’m waiting in excitement for the sequel coming out on the Nintendo Switch.

Awesome game!. So I finished this game within 18 hours. Loved every minute of it but I saw some issues: 1) the “anti” stuff seems really pointless to me. I liked the idea of them because they were not all in the Pokémon game and it was nice that they were in this fan made game but because you get rid of your effect(affect? I don’t know) after one turn there seems to be no use for them. If it was that you can use them and then still have your turn, that would be better because then they will seem more valuable in the game. 2)when it came to my bag, I had a lot of items and noticed that the scroll bar was off to the right of it container, I have pictures of that if you wish to see it. 3) same with the level up letters, there were to the far left from the Nexomon so I could tell who leveled up until after I pressed the next button. 4)you cant catch the legendary Nexomon, I mean I get that they are needed for the story but the option should still be there but it could be one of those cases where it was reflected off or they smacked it out of the way. That’s all I saw within my 18 hours but over all I liked the game and I would suggest it to anyone who likes to play fan made games. Looking forward to more to come (if there is any)

I’m in love. First and foremost, this is NOT a Pokémon ripoff. For the people who say that, you are wrong. This game has a unique storyline, nothing like Pokémon at all. The game keeps my interest for literal hours. The map is beautiful, the characters are funny, and the humor is right on. For all those that like monster capture games, this is your best bet. You won’t regret spending that tiny one dollar on this game. But be aware of the purchase system. It may or may not work BUT, the game is completely bearable without spending money for gems since it is not a pay to win game. The Nexomon looks amazing, the art is amazing, and the animation are well done. The Nexomon dare very diverse and balance. Now with THE NEW EXTENDED STORYLINE, the game just got a whole lot better. I won’t spoil, but the ending was just amazing. To sum it up; AMAZING game, AMAZING storyline, but beware of the in game purchases (but it really is unnecessary so I don’t think you would need to buy gems at all)

Such an underrated game! Ton of fun! Hidden gem!. I’ve played through the entire game and I am so freaking impressed by it that I purchased Nexomon: Extinction (The Sequel). This is an amazing game and I personally believe it’s the best “Monster Tamer” game out right now. It takes the best parts of all the classics that we know and love and combines it into this masterpiece of a game. I can’t recommend this game enough... just give it a try and I promise you you will be addicted. Shout out to the team that made this gem possible. Thank you guys for all your hard work. I am thankful to you guys tremendously. The story was awesome. There was just the right amount of humor and seriousness. The Nexomon themselves are awesome and I love the designs and animations. As you progress, you feel your team’s power building. You also can grind for Mega Rare Nexomon and it really scratches the grind itch and rewards you for it. This is a gem and you will not regret playing/purchasing it.

1000% worth it!. The animations in this game are not only smooth, but interesting as well! Unlike many other apps, this isn't a 'Pay to Win' game. It is possible to beat this game without spending money, which is rare to come by these days. There is also a rich storyline and a few playful jabs when characters break the 4th wall. --SPOILER WARNING-- At first I was wondering why some Nexomon looked similar to the ones in Micromon (another great game made by this group) and loved the plot twist they threw in. By integrating the real reason the world of Micromon was created, it just made the story that much more captivating. I honestly loved this game and kinda wish they made some Nexomon/Micromon mercy. I'd be super excited if they were to make an Ashgon plush (from Micromon) and would almost certainly buy it.

Showstopping. This game is amazing; the plot, designs, elements, nearly flawless; however, there are two minor problems that I felt made the game just miss being perfect. For one, the icons and sometimes the camera would glitch, switching the icons’ positions and keeping the camera stuck so I can’t see where I was going; luckily, saving and reloading fixed it every time. Second is the Normal type; all the neutral attacks felt like battle breakers, although after a lot of training I was able to push through it. I’ve already heard of the two new types created in the sequel, which I do trust will balance the balance system. Despite those two glaring issues, I loved this game and am definitely going to get the sequel…on computer (mobile not good but game good).

Account charged but no gems. Update: Their Customer Support Team is phenomenal! I sent a support request around 12:00 am and they got back to me within 10 minutes. Not only was the issue resolved their overall tone was friendly. If I could rate this higher I would! Not even Apple Support is this helpful lol. Review: Overall the game is amazing! It incorporates a lot of Pokémon elements but has a distinctly unique feel. It reminds me of an old iOS game where the user hopped from world to world defeating the bosses and capturing the monsters from each world. The gameplay is great HOWEVER, and I don’t believe the developers would intentionally do this, the in game shop is currently bugged. I purchased a gem bundle and the counter for the purchase ticked up from 6 seconds to well over a minute. After force shutting down the app it confirmed my purchase but never exchanged the gems. I am currently sitting on a pending charge with no in game currency. I’ve sent a support email and will change this review to reflect my game experience once the issue is resolved. Thanks!

The BEST. This is literally the best game ever. I love everything about it. But I wish some things were changed: 1. Can the character speak...? It annoys me that I can’t say and do what I want to do sometimes 2. Have an equipped nexomon? Like, pay for the feature with diamonds? 3. Expand, maybe Nexomon mega-evolving and mega stones and stuff. (Maybe, Nexo-Evolving Nexo-Stones? Idk) 4. LOTS more nexomon 5. Story expansion!! I am currently almost done with the story, but can it be where... there's more? Like, we get to be the Nexo Lord, or an overseer, or create our own town? Or another plot after the 1st one? 6. I love my nexomon and I want to be able to feed them and pet them, and for the larger ones ride them! 7. Rare, neon or metallic shining nexomon? Or Nexomon with 2 different elements? Or rare mutations for some Nexomon? 8. NEXOMON DIALOGUE! Everyone has a partner nexomon, so can mine say stuff, like “Purr!” Or *grows* or *barks* or shows emotion. Not anime emotion, but like: angry, sad, happy. 9. Make evolutions during battles!! 10. Maybe, battles can be a bit more interesting? When a nexomon is low health, it looks beaten and a bit upset? 11. NEXOMON PERSONALITIES! It could be playful or smt, and the personality affects how it acts and how it is during battle. 12. Avatar creator...?

Great game, but unfair. I was playing the game for a handful of hours. Really enjoying it. Started looking up guides to find the starters (which are all available to catch in game.) Then I find out that there are items that you MUST pay for in the mobile version that if you were to buy the PC/console version, they would just be found in game. The costs don’t even match. Nexomon on steam is $10. If I were to buy all the special items on mobile, it would cost much more than that. It’d be nicer if there was instead a premium version of the game offered to mirror that of the PC/Console. Anyway, it’s still a fun game, and I’m gonna buy a copy on console, where, you know, all the features are actually available.

I WANT MOREEEEE!!!!!. Its sooo awesomee!!! Finished the game but I want moree!!! 😭 Its just amazing!! Create maybe something like Pokemon, they have different versions. As long as it wont stop. Haha. But yea its a wonderful game! Finished within less than a week cos I just cant stop playing! I love Pokemon before and this is pretty much similar but cool graphics! but maybe next time create more games, equipments, things for the nexomons. Create more varieties to the shops etc. And one thing I dont like is then when we’re in a battle, when our opponent’s nexomon lose, the next one gets to attack first which is not fair! thats the only thing I dont like. Oh yeah and maybe add a map. I got lost sometimes in the forest 😆 thats all thanksss!!! MORE pleasee!!

I’ve been searching for a game like this for years. Man when I was a kid growing up playing Pokémon on gameboy was my addiction and I so enjoyed it! Now as an adult who gets busy in life working and being a husband I always want a little Pokémon adventure game to just relax. For years I have searched and I’ve tried finding ways to download the old Pokémon games on my phone but it never worked out. I’ve tried many of the “Pokémon wanabes” and they were okay but nothing to talk about or recommend. When I found THIS game I was blown away!!! Extraordinary game great story! Incredible graphics and the moving screen is so cool! ( y’all should do more with that) I definitely recommend this game to everyone who played Pokémon. My wife never played Pokémon and doesn’t like games and she loves this game. I over train so I pretty much 2 shotted the legendaries. ( you can’t catch them in this game) so that was cool. But if you have been looking for a game to scratch your nostalgia Itch. This IS the game. Get it no regrets! Also everything in the game is free unless you want to buy random add ons which are completely not needed. If I could give this game more than 5 stars I would.

Worth.. I’m a Pokémon fan who wanted something for my mobile that was similar but also decently made to be different and entertaining... found it here! Fun RPG game, with awesome graphics and cool monsters to explore with battles being challenging enough to require some grind (at least what I’ve played so far) which I love (who wants to win without a challenge??). Only thing I have a problem with is the constant in-game guide throughout what I’ve played so far... how can a game be fun if I can’t make mistakes or choose wrong paths? Luckily the battles are hard or this game would be for 1 week olds that learned to touch the iPad/iPhone. If I’m constantly told the way to go and what to do how can I make mistakes to overcome... really dumb amount of guided play!

Great game, but. The game is great. Has good polish. Some minor issue on iPhone X such as the evolution screen but nothing major. Humor is spot on and it actually has a great story. The feedback I have for the game would be that although it’s open world technically you can only really follow paths north, west, east or south. Then the next screen loads when you hit the edge. This really destroys the open world feel. I wish the camera would just pan with me in the center instead of just loading up a new screen. The battling is also lacks strategy. Maybe adding in items that nexomon could hold could customize them a bit more as well as expanded move sets. Otherwise anyone can have the same exact nexomon and know exactly what it can do. This is a great single player game but if pvp is ever to be a thing it needs a lot of work.

Great game but.... I’ve been a fan of Pokémon for years and I came across this game and it seemed very interesting, and interesting it is, the game is very fun to play and seeing that I’m a Pokémon fan I’m already addicted ! There’s some slight problems I have, and seeing the last update was 1 year ago, I doubt there will be another update to fix these things, but I hope you see this and think about improving the game. First problem is there’s no map to show you where to go, sometimes I spend minutes to almost an hour trying to find out where to go to continue the quest and it can be frustrating not knowing where you’re going. Second problem is there’s nothing to determine when and which Nexomon will evolve, it’s annoying leveling up a Nexomon and not seeing it evolve after so many levels, the least you guys could have done is install something to show which ones will evolve and at what level, the same way you guys did with the special moves, had it locked and hidden until the level was reached, the evolution could’ve been hidden until the level was either close to the evolution level or until the level was fully met. Those are the 2 main problems I have with this game, other than that, it is a fantastic game and I enjoy playing it and would love for you guys to continue to develop and make the game even better !

What an incredible game. WOW! I just finished the main story line, clocking in 17 hours of pure enjoyment. Now I'm on to the post game, and I've seen some pretty incredible content already. Not sure how much more time I'll put into it, but I'm sure I'll get to at least 30. This is probably one of the best mobile games I've gotten, and I could have easily paid $5 for it instead of $1. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I was concerned that it would be a rip off of Pokémon and have no originality, but I was wrong. The storyline is better than any Pokémon game I've played, and there are other factors I like more about this game than Pokémon. It truly is it's own game and is something spectacular. Do yourself a favor, stop reading these reviews, and buy the game for yourself. You won't regret it.

Dont call it a second hand pokemon. It has been some years since I last played pokemon games and was feeling nostalgic. After downloading and playing a few rpgs on my phone, I stumbled upon this game. Honestly, I was not immediately impressed, but the more I played the funner it became. The soundtrack for this game is well made and changes depending on the environment. Some of the nexomon look a little funky but for the most part there is a great deal of work that was put into the designs and art. You can tell the creators had a blast making the game because despite having an amazing story line, it doesn't take itself too seriously. Often the characters make jabs at the game itself. To call it a secondhand version of pokemon would be doing this game a disservice. It adds a unique blend of nostalgia and innovation to truly make itself stand out. 5/5

Awesome game, few flaws. I was turned off by this game because of the initial payment but I now realize it’s definitely worth the $0.99. Nexomon is definitely almost as good as Pokémon. The premise is almost the same, but I like the unique story in Nexomon. The characters are amazing and the graphics are amazing too. The best part: NO ADS! The only complaints I have are that there are a few glitches here and there (such as when you pick up an item you sometimes may get into a battle) but it’s easily the best Pokémon based game I’ve ever played. The in app purchases are a little annoying since the leveling process is slow without the experience share purchased. Lastly, the capturing feature is a little confusing. Usually in Pokémon you lower the monster’s health points and then through a poke ball. Unfortunately, it appears that lowering a nexomon’s health points don’t help in capturing. If this process could be changed that would be great, but otherwise this game is definitely 5 stars and worth the purchase.

Fun. Honestly, I am not big on in app purchases and when the game was $.99 I was worried that the game would pinch progression into purchases. It didn’t. It was a fun game. Like super fun. Like so much fun I ended up doing in app purchases just so the game developers make more money. I want them to make a bunch of money so they can keep making fun games like this. The all around color design and architecture was spot on. Loved waking into each new part of the name and it felt new and made me think, “I wonder what spawns here”. Some notes for the developer for future games: 1) center the healing building to the town. With the healing building not being uniform to each town, I found myself trying to find it. 2) (also a way around #1) offer a map and objective in the bag. Granted the level and flow of moving from place to place wouldn’t normally warrant needing one, I just think because it is a mobile app my retention for the little details isn’t high. Like moving from the game, send a text, come back to the game and I would forget if I was doing and which way I was going. This could just be me lol. But my hat is off to you guys for making such a fun game for me to enjoy. Cheers!

Please please.... This is a great great game amazing story awesome Nexomon very unique ways to raise and setup your Nexomon but I have 2 major issues which is why I put 3 stars....1 being the slight but noticeable lag between power moves of the Nexomon I know it isn’t my phone cause this game doesn’t run too high of a resolution plus everything runs smooth but that....2nd but most importantly...please please remove the open nexo box button and diamond shop button from the top right of the screen they are highly annoying and even during gameplay I accidentally clicked on one of them I get you guys need money and promotion but it would be better to put them in the nexopad where you access all GAME TOOLS anyway please move those buttons so I can enjoy this game more than I already do it’s hours of fun but those highly useless promotional buttons kinda ruin the gameplay....thanks I am a huge fan don’t take anything I’m saying as hostility I just really want those moved and that lag other than that I would give 5 stars ☺️💯👋

Beats Pokimon for me honestly. This game has some great sarcasm and an awesome story, I’m so mad at myself for playing the second first but it’s hard not to, with the first one costing money to play and the second one being free it’s a little confusing for a new player. My only… and I mean ONLY gripes about this game and the newer “extinction” one is that for one, I think the first one should be free or around a dollar and the second one should be the one that costs money or more money, to go along with that is the fact getting any legendary mon’s is hard, but not just your average pokimon kind of hard I mean it’s a near impossible chance that you find one in the wild and the only real chance you have at getting one is opening the golden nexobox which costs twice the price of the game itself for just one… just think there should be 2-3 legendary Nexomon for any newer games that are easier to find or have a catchable boss battle type of sequence like how Mewtwo is in the pokimon games…

A balanced view. Aside from selecting my mon and going on an adventure there was nothing unique about the game. The battle mechanics is same as Pokémon albeit lacking a wide range of buffs and debuffs, making the strategy element other than fighting vs type advantages pretty non existent. I’m not a big fan of the micro transaction aspect but I do understand from the context of a mobile game it is something the developers focused on in order to generate revenue. The plot had good pacing which I will give props to. The characters and the nexomon design were a B+ and I found the intro quite immersive. What hurt the game were the following: lack of dual types, lack of post game content and the final boss being a mon rather than a human, made it more of a mons vs humans narrative which was not my cup of tea. Also final boss was unnecessarily hard but I beat it just about. Being a Pokémon inspired game it’s unfair to compare so one should judge the game on its own merit. With that being said the game was for me ultimately average.

Great Game! But... This is 100% one of the best games on the AppStore. The gameplay is pretty smooth, the humor is absolutely amazing, the nostalgia is great, etc.. However, I’ve bought 2 Packs of 500 Diamonds that were both paid for, as I had money on my Apple account which has visibly decreased, so I HAVE been charged for both packs, but I haven’t gotten a single diamond. I have to use “Ask To Buy” which could potentially be the problem, because both times my request to buy the packs was approved, it would say “Transaction Failed!” or “Transaction Timed Out!” or whatever it said and I would still have the same amount of diamonds as before I bought the pack. If possible, I would like to get in touch with a Nexomon Support member somewhere other than Facebook, because I really need to get this sorted out and putting a link to your Facebook with no designated section or something for Support absolutely does not help. It’s an awesome game though, and all of the designs are so unique and really pleasing to look at. The move system is really cool and I believe this game is awesome and has so much potential to become an even bigger name.

Best Game Ever!!!. I’m so in love with this game! The graphics and the characters are amazing. I love how each Nexomon is unique and has its own personality built into it. I like the availability of the in app purchases , but I also love how you don’t have to get them. They help out a lot but I love how a dedicated player can grind out levels with their Nexomon. All the graphics are visually appealing and very well done! The story like in amazing as well. I found my self so invested in finding out what was going to happen next that I didn’t mind taking an hour or two to level up my dream team. The small references to modern culture made me laugh, and it added so much to the game. Moreover YOU GUYS DID AN AMAZING JOB! I will definitely be recommending this game to friends. So 110% worth it!

Amazing game!. This game is so much like the old Pokémon games, but the storyline is even better to me. Definitely well worth the $1 price, since the game is like one that you would pay $20 for. I bought the exp multiplier (which I highly recommend), so the game is much easier and has much less grinding for me, though I figure the game can require some decent grinding without it. Coins are acquired easily in the game, though you can find so many items hidden in the map, buying items wasn’t often necessary for me. The storyline is much longer than it looks like at first, since after you complete the main story, there is a second background story, which I am still in the process of. This is a spectacular game with self-aware characters that can be pretty funny. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Could be way better. This is the closest thing you’ll find to Pokemon on the App Store. The art, gameplay and story are great. Pretty much everything works exactly like Pokemon.. even gyms are called gym, healing, stores, city layouts it’s all the exact same. Cons : -Way too much unnecessary context.. for example after the first gym you’re told to go east ( which btw is the only way to exit the city ). You’re told to go east by the gym leader, then by your helping robot then by a friend... like okay I get it. Shut up please lol. The beauty of Pokémon was figuring things out yourself and it worked like a puzzle game. No need for thinking in this game you’re told what to do a hundred times in long texts which gets very annoying. -Pokemon I mean “Nexomon” are way too childish, it’s like a 4 year old drew everything. Sure Pokemon are cute but this is just another level. Nexomon don’t have that cool factor like some Pokémon did. I took a star away for each one of the cons and one for the lazy ness in making the game. I mean they didn’t try to be creative and do certain things better. they just took Pokémon and changed the name... I think the next Nexomon should be a little more serious, better more mature and cool looking Nexomon and less context! At least stop repeating unnecessary things over and over. Overall, great game.

Hours of fun. One of my fondest memories was spending hundreds of hours playing the original Pokémon games. Nexomon, while having a lot of similarities to Pokémon, feels like something unique. Something special. I spent pretty much most of my free time playing this instead of actually gaming systems. It was actually something that pulled me in so much that I spent a couple nights where I only got about 3 hours of sleep before work. If you’re looking for something to remind you of the good ol Pokémon days, or even just a good game for younger kids that haven’t jumped into similar games yet, this is an amazing choice. The humor is spot on, they have amazing references to other pop culture things, and the game is very self aware it’s a game. The story is actually pretty nice and engaging as well. There are only a handful of faults that I can find, and most of that has to do with the cash shop in a paid game. Nothing in there is needed, so you can ignore it, but it is annoying because you will have two big buttons on the top right hand side the whole time you’re playing. These buttons take a lot of space and are only there to make sure you’re aware there is a cash shop. The game is so good that you’ll forget they are there for most of your play time, but when you notice it, it’ll get under your skin. The game is so good that I would honestly just pay for a full $20 release.

Nothing like Pokémon. I looked up Pokémon in hopes to find a retro game but instead I found this. It is amazing to put it simply. At first I thought it would just be another Pokémon ripoff but it was good enough so I downloaded it. I was blown away, after I beat the game twice or so I finally got my fix and decided to write this fully balanced review. It has a completely different storyline from Pokémon and doesn’t even reference the whole gotta catch em all phrase. Nexomon does have a fault in the mega rares and commons don’t have any difference in growth rate and that makes me kind of annoyed, in my first play through I only fought mega rares like in Pokémon but it just wasted my time. The music was great and always appropriate. And the arena, I really wanna try it out but all it does Is say looking for match count to ten and then go back to one. I left my iPad on for hours and it didn’t work.

Too Many Questions. Although this game holds promise, some things clearly hold it back. First and foremost, what do evolutions do other than change the name and appearance of the Nexomon?! Base stats remain the same, as confirmed by the in game database. No moves seem to change either. This completely ruins the point of evolutions, which is a key element in a Pokémon style game. Secondly, even if evolving would seem to do anything, most of the Nexomon you find in the wild are already past their evolution levels, making it very difficult (impossible?) to evolve to their final forms. The maps are nice and varied, but the towns seem pretty dead. No side quests or anything of that sort. Not a lot of trainers to battle along the way. The experience points gained by each Nexomon are a mystery. If one of your guys takes out 2 of theirs, but faints during the 3rd battle, does he get any xp?? It’s questions like these that litter the game with no explanation. I even tried googling to no avail. The story is somewhat compelling at least, and I do like the different rarity’s of the Nexomon. The game does just lack in key areas across the board.

Pleasantly surprised. I was a bit skeptical at first. The game pretty much just looked like a Pokémon knockoff to me, but after playing through it I have nothing but praise to give. Yes it shares almost everything in common with Pokémon games, but at the same time it still feels fresh and unique. I can tell a lot of hard work and love was put into this and I couldn’t put it down for the nearly 20 hours of engaging gameplay. The in-app purchase offers were completely unnecessary to complete and enjoy the game, which I was relieved to find out. I’d honestly pay way more than 99 cents for a game like this. I’m thoroughly impressed, and if the team that did this decided to make a continuation or similar game I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Amazing game all around, really hard to say anything bad. Amazing graphics, amazing music, great humor, and while it looks like a Pokémon copy, I’d personally liked this better then I liked the Pokémon games. This one is a lot more user friendly, so much less handholding, enough difficulty that it isn’t boring, while still not being insufferable amounts of grinding. While I don’t recommend it for children under 12, it’s still an amazingly open age range, difficulty and interest wise. And it doesn’t sacrifice story or graphics and things. It also doesn’t include that classic annoying Pokémon rival. Also the way that it allows you to want to fight the trainers, instead of being forced to. Not to mention Pokémon (Pokémon Go isn’t a Pokémon made game, it was made by Niantic, and Google) doesn’t have a good mobile game. The only bad thing that I can say is that the UI placement hasn’t been fully fixed on newer smartphones, and the “Nexobox” and “Diamonds” UI can end up in the middle of the screen. Otherwise amazing game, more then worth the money, I’d spend +$10 on it.

Nexomon Levels. First of all it’s a great game. It’s like playing Pokémon without actually playing Pokémon and it gives off the same feeling. However, my only problem are levels. I like to grind levels on my monsters and it’s frustrating to see that even though I win against Omnicrons children I still lose? I have a level 76 Carnagrius that went up against Arqua when I was omw to the desert. I killed her using slash because it dealt 750 damage and Arqua had 2500. Same with Grunda. I defeated both of them and I understand for the sake of the story I had to lose. But if I had to fight a person who I was going to lose to no matter what at least make the monsters tanky or insanely OP. It is a bit disheartening that I can defeat them easily but still manage to lose. On a side note, I really hope you allow the option of a fixed joystick and possibly make it bigger? It’s hard to control your character especially with a small screen. The maps are a bit small because everything is big. I’d like it if it was a bit smaller. There’s also not enough npc’s to battle. While it’s easy to level up grinding wild nexomon it’d also be helpful to have more npc’s. I feel as if I’ve battled less than 10 npc’s which is not a lot and it is fun to battle against them. Other than that it’s a great game to play! I highly recommend it!

I love this game I have micromon as well I'm a fan of this game creator I really like the art style of the game I love all the Nexomon and the game itself I do have a few suggestions to make the game like 1000% better ok here it is more Nexomon that can follow you like say shashock for example;) and dialogue options for the player character rather than atlas speaking for your character I find the hand holding in games is just far to much I also Heard that there is going to be story expansions that I am extremely excited for to be honest if you just slowly add more and more to the game it would be perfect just keep it going I mean even if I had to pay for each expansion or whatever I like this game so much I would iv already got everything in the other part of gem shop except repeal and iv got one avatar and one pet aka the Nexomon followers just want a few Little extra things ya know not much By the way I want to personally thank the creators of this app it is absolutely awesome I adore it so thank you Nexomon creators I absolutely appreciate the time and effort put into this game it brightens my days up I can't wait to see what else you come up with in the expansions ❤️👍

Best Game Ever!. I would say this game almost beats Pokémon it’s so good. It’s very unique and it reminds me of Minecraft and away when you travel to the netherworld (Hell). There are a lot of adult humor that draws me in even more! I also love the graphics and the Nexomon as well. They are so unique and have their own personality! Once you start playing this game you don’t want to stop! I have played this game for eight hours straight and only having a few hrs of sleep before work! However, it is so worth it there are so many towns and islands to visit on your journey that’s never ending! I also love that the farther you get in the game the more challenging it is! I hope that they make a Nexomon 2 I would be so down to spend money on it!

Meh. The most appealing thing about this whole game is the mere fact that it’s an attempt at a pokemon clone. I’ve played the first 6 generations of pokemon and a few of remakes and spinoffs, and although some of them were a challenge to stick with, this game couldn’t hold a candle to the worst of pokemon spinoffs. The leveling is terribly awkward, completely unbalanced, and leaves the game feeling more like a sandbox than a campaign. The npcs are completely useless and talking to them will not only waste time but also make the game even drier. The story line... I can’t even bother to be interested. Very wonky. The game looks good and some of the nexomon look cool. It’s not the worst game I’ve ever played. But if you’re looking for a pokemon clone, this is a hard, hard, hard pass. All this game will do is help you appreciate how much nintendo puts into pokemon.

Not a Pokémon ripoff. First things first THIS IS NOT A POKÉMON RIPOFF! They have their own monsters own twists own turns and the legendary are something else to face when you face them they seem eons ahead of you but are beatable with the right strategies. In the first Main game of Nexomon it is very linear and straightforward but just going through the story doesn’t bring you to a powerful enough point to fight some of the legendary Nexomon or “boss” trainers (overseers). The Expansion is very hard and was fun to play it added another major challenge in the form of New legendary Nexomon and another very powerful one. Complaints This game is resource heavy you need a lot of healing items but the status eliminators are useless because all status’s last one turn. Also it is kinda slow not laggy slow but slow to get though areas. Now this “slowness” can be fixed in the diamond market one of the buttons in the top right of the screen where you can pickup game altering items like nexo skates and an exp share. This game offers in app purchases but are in no way needed to achieve completion of the game Overall a 4.5 Stars for me

BETTER than Pokémon. Okay I just loved loved loved the story it gives so much fan service to Micromon fans but that's okay because the devs found a way to make it work beautifully👌👌 the graphics are beautiful there's so many monsters. The only problem is the leveling, you're either overleveled or way underleveled most of them time and you don't even have a need to have 6 Nexomon you only need one, I defeated the final boss in two hits with my level 98 Jeeta. There's in app purchases but it's definitely not pay to win and when you do get an in app purchase it doesn't beat the game for you. Can't wait for the story update 👍👍👍👍 oh and also I don't see a problem with the catching... I caught three mega rares and a few specials using only the red traps. Also it's not a pokemon ripoff, it obviously took inspiration from pokemon in terms of game mechanics, but it really has a life of its own thru story and a bit more mature stance on the pokemon formula . Nothing really dark though, and you don't have to love pokemon to appreciate this awesome game👋👋👋

Great game!. The story is good and the nexomon look amazing, my only problem is that it’s mechanics are exactly like micro on, I know this is supposed to be a sort of sequel to it, but nonetheless, i feel like the creators could’ve tried a few gimmicks that are different from other games of the same genre(they have one gimmick that’s different from the rest but that’s only for the post game, and I’d rather not spoil it for those who read the comments before buying it), point is, in order to make it stand out more than other monster catching games, they should try something that most game developers haven’t implicated, ( I’m mostly thinking ideas such as branched evolution paths, fusion, or armor, but to be fair that’s just me and it may be too hard to add those mechanics). I know it’s probably too late for the nexomon developers to add any more gimmicks, but I’m hoping that the developers read this and decide to add cool new gimmicks into their next game, ( it might not be called nexomon 2, but I’m pretty sure that they’ll make another monster catching game)

Almost perfect. Still giving this 5 stars because I’ve spent a lot of time on it, the Nexomon are pretty dope, and the story line is actually interesting and made me laugh a few times with continual 4th wall breaking. I only have to complaints/criticisms. There needs to be more skills for the Nexomon. Once you reach level 50, which does take a decent amount of grinding, there’s no incentive or excitement to further level your Nexomon. My second criticism is the npc trainer battles. I wish they were more like Pokémon’s trainer battles in the sense that they give you great opportunity to level your team up. You level up much quicker fighting against Nexomon found in the grass so there’s not much incentive to fight against other trainers other than to see if you can win. Like I said, it’s an almost perfect game with an interesting, humorous story line

Underwhelming. The game takes its time to load between two areas. The areas are small, all roughly the same size. Time could have been spent on making the transition between areas seamless, if not eliminating it entirely. However, if it were to be a single unbroken world, it would be all the more obvious that the game is small. The Nexomon themselves are beautiful and unique, but their movesets are both confusing to use (to begin with) and have a very small amount of animated diversity. Sounds and movements are repeated excessively. Having played the original Micromon (which was taken down & returned (without retaining previous purchases, so I can no longer play it without buying it again)) I have an appreciation for the overarching story continued here, which though simple I wholeheartedly enjoyed. I worry that other players who did not play the "preceding" title will miss out on some key aspects of the story.

Awesome game for an awesome price. This game is phenomenal, particularly for the price. Beyond the install price, I also highly recommend spending an additional $5 ASAP in order to get an EXP share in the game in order to progress without a ridiculous amount of grinding. Beyond that, there was no need for any in-game purchases. For a total of $6, this game was still an absolute steal! I put 8 hours into this without pause and it felt like no time at all! It is definitely very much like Pokémon, with it’s own unique mons. There are a few key things that made this extra engaging, though. The characters are likeable, the humor and fourth-wall breaks are great, and the voice acting during cut scenes made it feel cinematic. Like others, my only real complaint is that it is hard to tell how much damage each skill is really going to cause. Unlike Pokémon, there is no way to tell the “power” of each skill. You kind of just have to judge based on how much stamina each skill uses and hope for the best. The game was still super fun despite this issue, though. P.S. Any game that includes a thank you to an adorable dog in the end credits is an instant win. You go Moga!

Excellent Game. The story is quite engaging, and quite unique at that. It is a direct continuation from Micromon as well. To add on this time around it is much more generous where you can capture every Nexomon I believe. Which includes the legendaries. The postgame as well was very engaging. Excellently done. Now this game is worth a second play through, so a new game+ would be great, having your progress transferred for a better challenge, but I am aware that the devs will have technical issues with implementing such a thing, but it is possible nonetheless. Though if they cannot implement it, I understand. This game was done flawlessly well near flawless ya know being no new game+, but nonetheless flawless story wise and gameplay as well. Adding on towards the end of the main story and into post game the difficulty of the game went up quite a bit. It made the grind worth it and the result even better to continue the storyline. I just hope the storyline expands to finish Malk’s side of the story.

It's okay. Honestly it's really good but I just can't even get myself to play it. Probably bc of the ratings on the mon which state rarity and automatically ruin 90% of them, even if it's got a really cool design and I like the mon itself I lose all motivation to catch it as soon as I see it's only a 'rare' ect. Other than that I can't pin point what it is but it's just boring to me which I don't usually feel while playing Pokémon.

Great Game, but I want my money back. I absolutely love this game. Seriously, I almost love this as much as the Pokémon games. However, when I was playing, a glitch happened. I was catching Pokémon on the first route when I came across one of the starters, Vulazy. It was a “special” ranked Pokémon, so I assumed I wouldn’t get another chance at catching one. And also it’s cute. I didn’t have anything to catch it with, so I bought a golden catcher thing for 0.99. I got my Nexomon and I continued playing. I saved and logged off for the night, and now when I’ve logged onto it, it’s gone. I don’t have the golden catcher and I don’t have the Nexomon. Some of my other Nexomon had lower levels too. I either want a free golden catcher, a free Vulazy, or I want my money back. If you can, Thanks.

PLZ FIX THIS. I LIKE this game a lot but for some reason when I’m versing omnicron (final boss) I can’t open my bag to heal or even revive which is very annoying because now I can’t finish the game. the best I’ve done with no healing is 700 health to omnicron. The developers sure put a whole lot of time and effort into this. Well worth the money. No glitches. Great storyline and game play complete with creative twists. As good as any Pokémon game. This game is just great. The graphics, gameplay, story are all great. There’re typos here and there, but not much to fault for the price.

Better than the new Pokemon games. this game has a ridiculous amount of effort put into it for a mobile game. The premium currency in game is given to you regularly so you never really need to pay for anything other than the initial game and the things you can buy you really don’t need it’s mostly just cosmetic stuff with a couple of things to help you move and level faster. If you’re worried about the amount of text it’s probably about as much as there is in Pokémon black-and-white it’s nowhere near as crazy as the stupid amount they put in sun and moon. The story is pretty good anyway and although the robot is a little bit annoying at the start it begins to grow on you. Tldr. Get the game it’s definitely worth the price tag I honestly would’ve paid almost full price for this.

Why did I buy this. Ok this game is an utter disappointment because I read all these bad and good reviews and still bought being all like,"it will be fun." Although I didn't quite take in that this game had so much text it sort of overwhelmed me which started boring me so.... don't do what I did Tip to the game developers: next time you make a game try to cut down the amount storyline you have to read to understand the game

Very well made game. Worth the rating ten fold. The detail in the game is above anything else i have played.. I haven’t enjoyed the last few Pokemon games & was sceptical about Nexomon. But boy i was impressed.. The humour from Atlas the story telling & the subtle digs and nods to certain things make this game. This game is simplistic and fun. I really loved the art work of the different Nexomon i felt they were really strong compared to Nintendo’s latest stuff. My only gripe would be some of the names of the Nexomon, otherwise i cannot wait to play future versions of this game. 5/5.

Capture rate. It’s a fairly fun game the capture rates need to be fixed. Be prepared to waste 3-5 nexotraps per catch, even if you have them in the red.

Too much talking.. It’s okay. Only downside is there is way too much talking and text scrolling. Played for two hours and probably actually only walked around and battled for about 20 minutes.

Fantastic!!. Came to this game after playing the sequel, Nexomon:Extinction, so I was aware of the twists and the end result. Good. Good game

Love it!. After beating the main story I can say that this is one of my favourite games on the App Store! Highly addicting, fun, hilarious at times and overall awesome! I'm also enjoying the sequel that I know will be as awesome as this one.

LOVE THIS! WORTH GETTING. I got this game not expecting a whole lot but boy did you guys show me!! Not only is this a great game but I might even go as far as saying it's the best game I've Played!! Only thing I would suggest is making customizable avatars and the pets that follow you would be unlocked once you caught one!!! Even though I beat the game I'm still playing and looking forward to updates!!!

I got scammed. It said if I reset my game I would get all the gems I bought back but when I reset the game I lost 3/4 of the gems I bought I only had 320 and after that I tried to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling but then I lost the 320 I had left I want a refund

way too straightforward. if you dont want to think, this game is for you, there is only one option move forward or backward (dont expect anything special if you talk to a specific NPC or discover a secret nexomon) it is still great to play when nothing to do, for the cost it is worth it (if over 2$, i wouldnt buy it) to sum up it is not my cup of tea, i prefer pokemon even though it has less creatures than nexomon

Awesome game. Most fun I have had in a long time and yes you can catch legendarys but I’m not telling you got have fun learn on your own good game.

Premium shop rip off. Spent 80 of the purple Ruby’s to buy a rare monster. Took my Ruby’s and didn’t give me a monster. Premium shop isn’t reliable.

Getting better. -the touch controls are stiff and don’t respond very well -alot of the characters tell the main protagonist to take out a nexomon or to do certain actions that you literally cannot do. Why would anyone say its possible when the option to do so does not exist? -why am i shoveling out more for micro transactions for items that should of been part of the paid app to begin with? -the stamina does not scale with higher levelled nexos. Its tiring to constantly need to rest to gain stamina and buying items to solve the problem. -Still annoyed by the micro transactions.

Needs something ?. The game is pretty fun to play and passes the time but it feels like the game is missing something. Maybe more evolutions ? That would be nice.

The game is good but…. Purchased the game but somehow there is some issue. There is no item found at the place where the skate should be. Missing the important item such as exp share, I look up online and get to the exact place, but there is no * over the map. What happened? I restart with a new game file already!

Great. After going through the main story it was amazing. The artworks are awesome and if you like a game similar to Pokémon than this is the game for you. The only one problem I had was how much you need to pay for gems to get an item that will able you to grind your whole team. I went through the game having to do so much grinding just until near the end of the game they give you enough free gems to get the exp item. But other than that it was good if you like a challenge then go for it.

Catch rate sucks. Great game but catch rate is absolute garbage. Definitely geared towards having you pay for golden nexotraps. If this was scaled better I would give a better rating.

Awesome game. Just finished the game. The story was fun. Lots of meaningful bits of lore hidden among the random NPCs. I end up buying the exp sharing and the exp multi. from the begging and that made the game too easy at the end. Buy the sharing exp thing if any to be honest. Most of the Nexomon are interesting others are....like the magnet variations (why?how?). It was worth the money great game. Can’t wait for Nexomon 2 :). It scratches the Pokemon itch nicely. Btw for Nexomon 2 we need stats! And details about the skills.

A competent Pokémon clone. It’s definitely a Pokémon clone, but a competent one. The Pokéball-equivalent has a bit of a low catch rate, but they’re cheap enough and the coins abundant enough that it’s not a huge issue. Could have used some side-quests. Overall though, I quite enjoyed it.

Ok where to start, this game was awesome the story was very very good, the characters are well written with each one of them having a unique personality, there’s a lot of jokes inside this game you will see a lot of times the game making fun of games in general that’s a great humor. To hard to boring not enough stuff to be engaging . Also . GAME GOT DEMONIC RELLY FAST. Just why make this game so difficult in the first place . I was playing for about a month then . Boom . My game when from normal to horror movie levels of creepy and bloody . Did you programme this game like that . Because it was saying things like . Die you less then human freak . Then after a month I started having severe nose bleeds . Then I hade a bad one day sickness . Your game is ether hunted . Cursed . Of like nes Godzilla monster of monsters . There was even a blue lizard thing attacking me some times . The game also looked why to organic to be a normal game .

This game is something else. Honestly, I’ve played a lot of these kinds of games and I have to admit that this one is really good. I actually played and finished the game two times. Gameplay smooth, story gets you super attached and addicted, visuals are awesome and nexomans are so cool!! I recommend this one!!!

You can get softlocked. Really amazing game don't get me wrong but, in the second Omnicron fight it’s really easy to get soft-locked if you don’t have high enough level Nexomon. The game autosaves right as you enter a cutscene and right after the cutscene you are forced into a boss battle. I have been soft-locked for days trying to get the perfect RNG to win the fight but I’m afraid it will take a very long time. Please fix this issue. Thanks

THE BEST GAME ON IOS. Up to the end of the “main” campaign, this game is easily better than ANY Pokemon game out there. The Story and characters are amazing. Then you get into the end game content, and it blows everything else out of the water. I RARELY pay anything for mobile games as typically the content is just not worth it, but I gladly would have paid $10 and up for this game now that I look back at it. (In fact I have even spent some money in game just to support the game and haven’t even used the gems) I definitely recommend this game to any Pokemon fan!

Trash!. I was really excited to play this game. I love little indie games like this that take their play on famous brand names, but this!? Certain parts of the of the map wouldn’t move as I did when I was using my character, and once you leave Parum town you might as well forget about playing period. You either get one shot or two shot and your Nexomon is down and that was even when I had a good healthy team of 6. The random battles that you encounter along the way are just way too OP. I’d have to go to a healing station after every battle and only one or two of your Nexomon level up at a time. Some of mine didn’t even level up at all! I mean what do you expect of a game that’s 0.99$ but it just wasn’t for me. Anyone else might experience it differently but it is definitely a no from me. Please fix your game (:

A legit competitor to Pokemon. Where to start..... A little more adult than Pokemon. Also, to be quite honest it’s a better story. The Nexomon are well thought out and to be honest, most are better looking than their Pokémon counterparts. The cash shop isn’t required. Though it does have some pay to get ahead stuff. None of which are required to win and the cosmetics are ok. This is five stars without a doubt. I will be buying this on XBox when it releases without a second thought. Please devs work out a more adult themed anime..... PLEASE. I think it would help this brand shine even brighter.

So Familiar and yet so Unique!!!. It’s so refreshing to find a phone game that you can play for hours at a time without the restriction of waiting for an energy bar to recharge! While it does have similarities to Pokemon, it does a fantastic job of separating itself from the classic game. The story telling is simply amazing and the humor is fantastic! There are in game purchases, but none of them are necessary to completely enjoy the game on it’s own! I love the designs for the characters, Nexomon, and the world! It’s a beautiful game and I would have honestly paid $20-$30 to play it! So worth the buy! c:

Totally Love This. I love this game. Yes at first I thought it might be a knock off but I absolutely love this game. I love the characters, the large maps, the story and the overall design. Everything looked so nice from the still images to the movements. I also found most of the creature concepts interesting. Only thing that took some getting used to was how hard it is to catch some of the Nexomon since there is only one type of trap (unless you pay) but honestly still worth it. Well made game!!!

Love this game. I do hardly ever write reviews. But this game reminds me so much of a very updated Pokemon yellow. Love it. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that its so incredibly hard to get gems to buy stuff. I had several in the beginning but I purchased a pet which Kinda serves no purpose. And a few other thing I can’t remember but also regretted. Had I known I’d of gone with the wearables that add much more value to the gameplay. Now it seems the only say to get gems is to play and save the little you find in the game or, buy them with real money which is a huge turn off. I suggest more ways of getting more gems in game. Other than that AAA title for iOS that any fan of the genre will enjoy.

Almost Better Than Pokemon. This game is honestly amazing. The story is detailed and very dark, way more than Pokemon has been. I enjoyed that it doesn't have the fluffy overlay that Pokemon can have. The nexomon are well thought out and there is a large variety of them. This game is also much more difficult than I was expecting, I never felt like I could use just one nexomon to stomp through the whole game with. The one thing to be ready for is this game does not have the depth that Pokemon has when it comes to skill variances and attribute manipulation. Overall, best game I've played on a phone yet.

Making me play for hours!. (This is my first time writing a review, so I’ll try!) One thing that I love about Nexomon is that it has the same vibe of Pokémon. Catch creatures, battle with them, defeat a certain “villain” and then it adds a bit of story. That’s exactly what Nexomon is like. Another thing I love about Nexomon is that it’s only $1.00 for a whole new experience! Other than about 40 or 60 dollars for the Pokémon games now. Best Mobile game. I have never enjoy a mobile game as much as this one. There is almost an endless amount of content for the small price you pay for it. I really have to give the developers a round of applause. The game is a work of art, beautiful visuals, amazing sound track, and a witty and fun story line with a cast of unique and memorable characters. I felt I payed to little for how much I got out of this game so I actually made an in app purchase. This is the first game I’ve ever done that with, it really is worth a shot if you are thinking about it.

An amazing surprise. Like most I imagine that got this game it is was due to the resemblance to Pokémon. However once I was started it was no longer the nostalgia of Pokémon that kept me playing but the fun game play and amusing story dialogue. This is definitely a game I feel was worth the $0.99 investment(contrary to many other games). If you are on the fence about getting this game and checking the reviews to sway your vote I highly recommend Nexomon. It was just an over all good game where there is truly no need to spend and never any “buy before it is gone” ads popping up. Which is hard to find now:(

Super fun, entertaining and hilarious. I love how it’s on mobile and it can be played anywhere on the go, it makes waiting times so much faster with this game. Yes, it’s absolutely worth the money! This version, including Nexomon 2 on console, is way more pricier than buying both on mobile, so I highly recommend buying this here if you can. There’s a lot of to do in this game and a lot of monsters to capture and befriend. It does offer hours and hours of fun. I had a few laughters here and there because some of the dialogues were funny. This is a lot like Pokémon if you love that genre, you’ll love this one!

Amazing App. I love the story plot, and everything about this game.. but I’ve experienced quite the frustrating glitch. When I finally made it into the Nexolords tower, all the way to the top, and to Omnicron.. Well, I defeated all of the four legendary guys again. Then, when the battle with Omnicron came, the app just shut me out. Took me back to the selection screen. I’ve tried three more times, same result. My mobile phone is a 6+ apple, what do I have to change to actually get to battle this guy? Without, well, the app just quitting on me?

Best mobile RPG that I have ever played. This is for sure one of the greatest games on the App Store. This game was so good that I am actually leaving a review. Which is a good thing because I have never left a review for any game before. Anyways this is a game for all ages (im 20) and I loved every second of it. I can’t recommend this game enough. I just want to say thank you to the devs for actually putting thought and care into a mobile game. Usually all game developers want is money but these guys really put a lot in to this game. I even bought the 10$ diamond package not because I needed it but because I want these guys to make more games!

Literally 1/60th the price of a regular Pokémon game and I liked this more. This game is incredible. First off, it is literally one dollar. I laughed multiple times through this game, has amazing characters, and the plot wasn’t horrid like most Pokémon games! SO many nexomon and are a creative and I loved the designs for most of them! The only critique is the rareness factor. Pokémon being mega rare vs common completely dominates the game, and mega rare and special nexomon were the only ones that were viable through the game. Fantastic leveling, the bosses seemed hard and the plot made it seem like the world was literally going to end if you lost. Best 1$ I have ever spent, played this game all the way though twice it was that good.

Surprisingly good. A lot of people complain about exp but literally it’s not confusing. The Nexomon level fairly fast you just need to put in the work. I really like that this game doesn’t hold your hand every step of the way. Brings me back to Pokémon days when I was little. I’m really disappointed about the arena (pvp) beta mode. It always freezes on the screen that shows me vs opponent. It never works I’ve tried multiple times. The story mode is fantastic. Other than that I highly recommend its worth the $0.99. Would give it a 5 star rate but the arena doesn’t work so I’ll wait then I’ll update to 5 stars.

Honestly The Best Game I’ve EVER Played! (Plz Read). If you’re looking for entertainment and an adventure with hours of fun, this is the game! Sure, it may cost money. But it’s worth it. So many cute Nexomon to capture. AND it’s not one of those games where you get gems, then once you spend them, you don’t have anymore. Because you find PLENTY of gems along the way. The only thing you really have to buy is the game. It’s actually better than POKÉMON. Which is saying a lot, because I like Pokémon. This is BETTER than Pokémon!. I have played every Pokémon game since the first...yes, even the lame version of Evee and Pikachu Go (biggest fail of all time in the Pokémon world). Thus game beats all of them hands down! Plays exactly the same, better maps and gameplay. Good storyline (well done Devs!) and fantastic game play. Easy, fun, gotta catch em all!! If you are looking for a good game for catching creatures, evolving, battling and fun...you found it. You can catch ALL of the starter poke..I mean Nexomon, so pick the one you like best. Great job on the skill/ability selection screen, huge upgrade to benefits. Only negative I have is the graphics could be a little better. You made such an incredible game, you could have done a little better on the mon graphics. A little basic compared to the rest of the game. Still good, just not great on this item. Good job! Nexomon 2. I really liked the first game I just hope that you’re able to switch over your data from the first game to the second one because of the time I am invested in the first one. Also I hope there are better skills and better attack moves that That are comparable with each Nexomon is because there are some attack that should have been Unlockabke skill for the Nexomon. Also rest mode for the Nexomon should have been a thing instead healing them all the time. But still a very enjoyable game can’t wait for the sequel. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Moga asked me to, I couldn’t say no!. This game has been a rollercoaster of suspense and emotion for me...and I loved every second of it! Fell in love with the character even the evil ones... Rip my heart! But in all honesty great game everything in it was swell and I loved that there where things in it that I wish the Pokémon games had but never got. Like the option to instantly add new Nexomon to your party or the fact that the date log tells you what level the Nexomon evolve at! Over all great game, eager to continue it now that I’ve finished the story 10/10 am recommending to my friends well worth the price in my opinion! Stunning game. At first glance it looks like your run of the mill Pokémon rip off but after playing through the entire game it’s not. One thing of course is the in app purchase but you can collect gems easily by just looking around. The Nexomon themselves are designed well and the game play is smooth. Controls wise it is easy to walk around and the ability to click anywhere to bring up the walking joystick is a breath of fresh air. Definitely worth the first buy and if you want you can use money but don’t have to!

AMAZING!. I love this game so much. Bring s back the nostalgia of Pokemon I used to get with the GBA games back in the day. I am so disgusted with bad reviews on this. People are comparing this game to a $60 big company game when this is 99 CENTS!!! And worth more! This small group of people put together a great game and genuinely scum of humanity to leave 1-3 star reviews saying they needed more for 99 cents CENTS! These are the people who would order off the dollar menu at McDonalds and go to Yelp “well the overall taste was just underwhelming. I’ve had better at Fogo De Chao.” Seriously - try the game. It is 100% worth it!!!!!!

Fun but has its flaws. When I downloaded this game I expected a Pokémon ripoff and I was kind of right but it has its own charm with unique characters and unique Nexomon the animations are cool and the story is intriguing and kind of funny my one real problem with it was that when you go to the shop and buy nexotraps the cost soo much and there’s only one you can buy, it’s the average one that has a 50/50 shot of catching the monster you can buy a gold trap that instantly catches it but it cost 80 gems which can be bought with real money. Overall I was very impressed with the individuality and quality of this game.

New review. So I originally had a 5 star review. But now after playing this and then extinction and going back to this one again. Ima give it 4 star because I have a big issue with the fact that if my team levels up, so does the wild nexomon and trainers. That’s highly annoying. It should only get tougher as you progress the game. Otherwise I feel like you could become level 100 at the beginning of these games. Or is the level tap for the areas? I haven’t come across any, but it’s demotivating. And then it just leaves you to strategy alone. That’s all. Wonderful story/graphics/gameplay.

Almost as good as the original pokemon series!!!😱😱😱. For just being a mobile game and ONLY paying a dollar, this game has to be one of the greatest games I’ve played. It gives us the many creatures and locations to explore, cool characters and an interesting story. But the greatest thing about this game has to be the humor and funny moments brought by atlas. This game should have a sequel or more updates to keep is playing more and more hours, in my advice, there should be an extra storyline or separate mission to be able to capture omnicron’s sons 👀👀👀, or other legendary creatures.

One concern. This game is great, very rewarding. The only thing that I’ve found so far is that when the Nexomon levels up, the stats that are displayed have the ones you used to have and the ones that are your new stats, the ones you used to have are much lower than what they actually are/were. I don’t know if my nexomon are supposed to be stronger than they are because of this. It’d be nice to know for sure. Other than that, this has been fantastic and funny. Thank you developers, hopefully this can be resolved in exchange for me actually writing this review.

Great game. I loved the game, as many other reviewers have said so i wont go on giving loads of compliments but rather a suggestion as others have done. I think it would be incredible if there was a new game+ mode where you start all over with your nexomon back at level 1 and your items still in the inventory so you get to complete the game again with the nexomon you worked so hard to acquire. Games like that always have so much more replay ability when something like that is included. Thanks for the great game.

Well made but bland cliche story. This is an extremely well made game with interesting looking and unique monsters that unfortunately are found eveywhere over and over again. I was just running into the same 5 mons the entire game it felt like. The story was the real problem I had it was just so long and drawn out I couldn’t find myself enjoying it. It was so boring I found myself tapping rapidly for 2/3rds of the game just to get through the bland story to play for once. I like story in games, don’t get me wrong, but it was poorly written and drawn out way too much. It’s like when you write an essay but need a certain amount of words in it so you just keep adding nonsense that is repeated over and over again but just slightly different.

One of the best Pokemon based games. This is by far one of the best fan-based games. It has a strong similarity with Pokemon and yet, at the same time, it’s very obviously its own game. The storyline is really great, and has just enough comedy, mostly provided by the 4th-wall-breaking robot friend which follows your player. And I think the ending is really sweet yet gives the player a chance to keep going even after the big Bad Guy is defeated. The gameplay is great and all of the art is also amazing and very attractive, and the music is unique yet oddly fitting for every world. I absolutely love this game and would be willing to buy it again and again.

.99??? 1000% worth it. The fact this game is only a dollar is crazy, easily should be $10+. Pokémon charges $30+ per game and this is a full story mode based game. The people that say this is a “pay to play game” are wrong, while diamonds (the game main currency for items/customization) are scarce the only thing I’d recommend getting is the Exp Multiplier which is only 480 diamonds (4.99 for 500 diamonds) so I spent $6. This game has more than 15 hours of gameplay so for $6 it is a steal. If you like Pokémon then you will definitely like this game. Great storyline and great Nexomon designs. Would definitely recommend

Better Than Nostalgic. I’m a huge Pokémon fan and it’s unfortunate you cannot get emulators on iOS...HOWEVER! This is your next best bet and honestly, I found this to be way better. Less clutter with too many items and nexotraps. Very straight-forward game to play and the animations are spectacular. I got very excited every time a new drawing would come up during a cutscene because I felt like I was part of a movie I was playing. This is not Pokémon. It’s better, it’s different, and it brings back old memories with a new twist. Absolutely must play, thank you Jose Vemon and your team. It was wonderful. This was the first video game I’ve played since high school.

INCREDIBLE. I bought the game two days ago and have spent a total of 20+ hours on it so far. The story is unreal. As I type this I cannot wait to jump back in and FINALLY take down the... well I’ll let you figure that out in your own adventure! This game is quite literally a work of art, the story is unlike any other I’ve played, it’s immersive, and it’s the most organic/pure grind with immediately visual results unlike any game I’ve played. The touch of nostalgia helps, but absolutely isn’t the reason for its enjoyability. This game is very clearly a product of a passionate and excited developer team. This isn’t your ordinary game, as many teams built and toss games onto the app store in hopes for quick money. This is a masterpiece, excitedly put together by passionate developers and it’s simply refreshing to experience. Tamers, look no further. Nexomon is absolutely where you’ll find the excitement you seek.

Awesomely different nostalgia. I am so happy that I found this game and I played it start to finish over a few days. While not the same as Pokémon it shares many things while improving on some things such as having access to all of the learned moves throughout the game. Also, the story was not too difficult, but was also not super easy like the more recent Pokémon games have been. It took me just over 11 hours to complete the main story so for a dollar thats a really good deal. I love the original art and the 4th wall breaks. While playing you can tell everyone who worked on the game really worked hard to put out an amazing product. I can wait for Nexomon 2

It’s Pokémon. If you want an iOS game exactly like the old Nintendo Pokémon games this is it. Right down to the same grass. It’s extremely plot driven to the point where sometimes you wish the characters would stop talking already so you can go kill stuff. There’s some funny things too like the power rangers. I would highly recommend buying an exp multiplier early in the game. Otherwise you’ll be grinding forever and walking for hours to get back to a healing center when your Nexomon die. Yeah it’s $5 but compared to how much a Nintendo game used to cost it’s worth it. However, I removed some stars because in the app description it talks about a netherworld and I can’t figure out how to get to this area. Support does not respond on Facebook.

This game is awesome and the gems aren’t pay to win. This game is everything I’ve wanted and more Sarcasm, 4th wall breaks (that aren’t overused to the point that the game relies on them for humor), and a nice story with a great variety of nexomon. But recently an update was implemented, which introduced a new bug where I can’t access my bag during battle, which is nice for nuzlocks but not good overall please fix this as soon as possible, also I wish this game had a finished wiki because the one that we do have isn’t complete, I know the sequel is coming, but it would still be nice to know where to find Vorapest or his pre-evolution. Other than that this game is 🔥.

Ending needs work but awesome game. This game was extremely good I could not put it down! I would recommend it to anyone who loves these types of games and 99 cents is a steal for the content on here. However the ending after everything is said and done, left me less than satisfied. I mean there is a lot of loose ends, also the character is the nexolord now but that is like getting a rock for Christmas. The ghost town is still ghost. There is many things that should have been at least cleaned up at the end. Other than that I would love to see what is going to be produced next!!! Great job. Ps: I won’t be mad if there is an update for this particular installment for a cleaner ending.

Beautiful game and ugly bug. SPOILER WARNING!!! When I finally got to the underworld all of the grass patches glitched in there and in the real world one to. Now I can’t train my nexomon and that is a real shame considering the hours and hours I spent just leveling them up. This is one of the best games I could have asked for and I hope you fix this bug ASAP PLEEEEAAAASSSSE!!!! I really love this game so thank you very much for all of the hard work you guys ( and gals) put into this game. If you would fix this it would be very much appreciated by me and lots of others ( I assume)!☺️😀😄😃

Fantastic. I had concerns when downloading this, but I did it anyways, and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. I know people are going to think it’s a cheap knockoff of Pokémon, but the developers really put their own spin on it, and put together a fun story, with great characters, and some good humor that actually made me chuckle out loud a couple of times. You don’t have to buy anything in the store inside the game to progress, but I did because I enjoyed this game so much that I wanted to show more support to the developers. This supplied me with hours of fun and I am really hoping for a sequel to this great game! Don’t overthink your decision. Download this game and enjoy the world of Nexomon!

This game is amazing!!. I’ve put about 30 hours into the game and LOVE it!!! Sure, it’s not perfect, but I have everything I saw! The story made me cry, I was legitimately praising my Nexomon friends out loud, which made my friends thing I was crazy. I’ve been trying to convince all my friends to play this game! The only feature I wish they had was the ability to name your Nexomon. I ended up naming them anyways, but years form now I’d like to open the game and see that I named my fire skunk Spunky 😆. But hey, still an amazing game, I spent money in game on purpose cause I thought the developers deserved the money after this amazing work. Definitely hope for some kind of sequel! Five stars! Six if I could!!

Pokémon fan? Buy!. It’s exactly what you’d expect from the genre. It’s battling monsters in turn based battles ala Pokémon. At worst it’s a simplified version of Pokémon games and that might be a good thing for some people because it’s easier to jump in and out of and have fun. The story is cute and at least has a plot line (go save the world from the apocalypse instead of just winning a few tournaments ) . The game also has end game content which makes replay ability high, and you can easily get 20-30 hours of game play out of a game that costs less than $5. Buy it, buy it now

AMAZING GAME. This is an amazing game but there are a few glitches sometimes and even not in the volcano my player starts walking instead of running my player goes slower idk why but it’s really weird. Oh and I have a suggestion. This would be cool if you were able to catch Ventra and the other legendary Nexomon that are working for the Nexolord. And when you capture them there is a cutscene where their person form I guess gets umm teleported to the Nexolord. Oh also their powers are taken away from them and they turn into a normal human being.

Fantastic game… until the end. This game would get 5 stars from me if it weren’t for it ending with nothing to do. The developers seem to have abandoned this version for their next game that doesn’t seem available for mobile. The “post-game” is basically pokemon without any battle tower or challenging league to play against. Even multiplayer is neglected. I’ll leave the app on my device a while longer and see if they release an update to make keeping it around worth while. Given how long it’s been since it has gotten an update, I’d venture to say this game is dead. As far as playing a game through and uninstalling when you finish, this one is great. Fun pokemon-like feel with quirky writing that makes it feel more mature (but not as far as inappropriate) than pokemon usually is.

Nothing beats the original of course but,. this is better than pokémon. one of the best games i ever played~ incredible gameplay, graphics, storyline, humor/comedy, even the expansion fit & was worth finishing completely. It's incredibly fun & literally anyone could understand & finish it. I'm here from the dog after getting the special item lol. It's easy to tell that the creators of this game put their heart & soul into this game & actually care about the people that play it. It's literally like a better & simplified Pokémon; like Pokémon without the complex bs in it. Forever grateful for this only $1 app & to the the creators of Nexomon, thank you so much! Pretty good!. Only have a few hours into the game. Seems pretty fair and easy for F2P players. Did purchase a pack but I think the exp share charm needs to be removed from the game. Especially if the multiplier is the new replacement for it. I feel cheated somewhat. Would like to see an option to change the controls. Not a big fan of the floating virtual stick. I’d personally much preferr a fixed D-pad. Hope to see improvements in the future. Weekly events could be fun and improve the longevity of the game. Also hope to see newer monsters in updates. Kinda like the idea of pocket mortys where there’s portal areas for multiplayer

Absolute gold. I don’t tend to write reviews and such but this game... it’s incredible. My house was robbed and I lost my Pokémon Nintendo dS it hurt for a long time all the hours and love I had in it. But this game is the first to give that same feeling (and I played evocreo) with and extraordinary story, characters, and creatures it’s wonderful. I highly recommended this game to any Pokémon or turn based RPG fans. The few in game items that can purchased with diamonds are a cool advantage for not much money being diamonds are easily gained throughout the game.. if you’re on the fence just go for it you won’t be disappointed.

Pokemon Ripoff (read what I have to say). I got this game because there’s no pokemon RPG in the app store (still a major let down....) and I was not disappointed!!! Besides the several typos and the very, very poor effort that went into naming the creatures this game was loaded with a lot of content. Brought me back to my childhood playing pokemon, similar mechanics. The size of the map surprised me and the story was definitely interesting. Several comedic elements were placed into many of the characters, and I found myself spending hours at a time grinding levels. For sure a game I would recommend!

Hours of fun!. So, I saw this game and I had my doubts but this game is so worth .99 cents. This game is so much fun, it has a really fun story, that it brings a whole new level to adventure games. The game creators still need to add a few things like a map of where the Nexomon can be located and or add new types of Nexotraps. But as a whole the game is a gem, I recommend this to all my friends. And they said they love or like the game. This game still has a lot of room to grow. The creators are adding a new multiplayer option called “Arena” it is very fun and very competitive, but you can also do a casual match. Overall Nexomon is a fun adventure game that doesn’t require data during the main game.

Greedy poke-clone. As a fan of the original Pokémon series, I was initially surprised by nexomon’s quality aesthetics and familiar gameplay mechanics. But after an hour or two, the novelty wore off and the frustratingly low rates of capturing rare or rarer monsters became apparent. Even at 5% health and afflicted with a status ailment (which only lasts one turn), I’d often have to throw 10+ nexotraps to possibly maybe catch one while watching the monster gradually knock out each of my monsters. It was a horrible gaming experience especially compared to the series this game heavily draws from. There’s no way I’d invest my money in Golden nexotraps so earlier into the game before I’ve barely had a chance to enjoy the gameplay. This clearly sets a trend of manipulating players to spend cash. Why did I even pay a dollar to start with? Any game that transparently gimps gameplay to pressure players into spending cash does not earn my support. I later learned that people have complained about this in the past. The developers have had plenty of opportunities to address this issue. They’ve neglected to make meaningful change. I’d advise all self-respecting gamers and/or people who value their money to stay away.

Definitely worth playing. I really love this game, and the endgame stuff seems interesting. I just have a couple minor issues... Why does the player have to be a child? Let’s be real here, most people playing this are adults or at least teenagers. It was a bit too easy and I feel like the story was written under the assumption that the player would skip through it, not talk to any of the npcs and ignore the dialogue that was mandatory. The game holds your hand the whole way through so there’s never a time when you need to figure something out on your own. Give us a little credit, devs! We’re not idiots. Besides that, really enjoyable, best pocket monster game I’ve played since the original Pokémon.

Good game but I didn’t get my gems that I paid for. This game is fun with or without any good Nexomon, it’s fun trying to catch specials and stuff but my one issue is that I bought 1 pack of 1200 gems and did the reroll method to get a legendary. It worked fine since whenever you delete your saved data, your gems are given back but on one of the rerolls I got a legendary so I wanted to try to get one more and purchased another 1200 pack. When I went to reroll, the game took away the 1200 gems plus an additional 80gems so now my account only has 1120 gems when I paid for 2400 gems. I want to get my gems back but don’t know how.

Thought it would be a Pokémon ripoff but was clearly mistaken. When I first saw this game I thought it would be one of those terrapets games which clearly was lacking devotion, but I can tell that the people that made this really wanted to make a good mobile game, Though there are a few bugs here and there those can always be patched, some of my favorite moments are the rushes of adrenaline when I’m fighting an overseer or when I find a ultra rare in the wild and catch it on the last trap, all in all it’s a great game and if you have some money left on your credit card buy this game it’s worth it.
