Horrible service. I went on my birthday and from the moment I sat down, the server acted like he didn’t want to be there and greeted us with a “What do you want” attitude. He never cleared a single dirty plate or empty glass the entire meal. Other servers who dropped off our food never took a dirty dish either. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese for a side and got mashed potatoes. By the time the server came to check on our meals, we were almost finished and I didn’t want to wait for the correction. Once we were done, he passed by our table 4 separate times before stopping to see if we wanted dessert or the check. I ordered dessert to go since it was my birthday and I wanted dessert. The server did not bring the check until several minutes after out to go desserts were delivered. When left the table was still full of dirty dishes.

Been almost a year, and app still unusable. When the Longhorn app was first introduced, I used it to try to pay for my check. Input all the information, and submitted payment, and even got a confirmation number, but server could not verify that payment was made. He got the manager involved, who even called their tech support, and could not figure it out. After a half hour of waiting, I also verified that the payment had not been charged to my card, so I paid again with a physical card. Now, many months later, I figured I would try it again. This time, I even tried to pre-populate my payment information, and the app fails to verify my card info, and also tells me that the logged in person doesn’t match the card info (which I had sent even tried to enter yet!). When that failed again for a second time, I decided to try to fill out the rest of my preferences. I went into settings, and tried to turn on FaceID, and the app instantly crashed! Tried a few more times, with the same result. Ok, giving up, but I should at least try to contact app support under the App Store, so selected the support link, and... it took me to a web page that would not load! Final last resort - leave this review... hopefully someone gets the hint!

Only one gift card per visit. I just installed the app after my son sent me an electronic gift card. I uploaded my son’s card then a second one that had about half the original amount. When I used the app to pay, it would only allow me to use one gift card but allowed me to use PayPal to take care of the remaining balance. That’s my only complaint, don’t understand why I couldn’t use the second gift card, makes no sense. The whole purpose of the app is to save the server time processing payments but if they won’t let you use two gift cards then I’ll dump the app.

Bug Ordering chop steak. There is a bug when ordering chop steak that does not allow the customer to get bordelaise sauce. When you customize chop steak, the default is no bordelaise sauce. When the customer turns this off which then should remove the word “no” meaning you want bordelaise sauce, instead another word “no“ appears. So now the sentence is “no no bordelaise sauce“. The kitchen always thinks this means you absolutely do not want bordelaise sauce and so you don’t get it. But if you leave it as it is you don’t get it because it says no already. There’s absolutely no way to get the sauce. It’s a simple fix but it’s been there a long time. Please change it. Thanks.

Jackie. Our server and the food was great. It’s a little funny that the person bringing our food appeared to be a manager. He asked if we needed anything we said yes, salt & pepper and butter. He said he’d be right back. Well he never returned we saw him mingling with the servers, wander through the dining room several times and then just stand around. The people next to us has a different food runner. Their food came after ours, ironically that asked for s & p too. They had theirs before our server came by and finally got us the items. She was nice and attentive, the food was good, but the man who I suspect was a manager was disappointing.

Delish!!!. I love Longhorn Steakhouse food! I used to be a snob for another steakhouse, but they kept proving me wrong time and time again! I love the quality of Longhorn’s steaks and chicken. Their salads always taste fresh and their bleu cheese dressing out of this world delicious!! Yummmm!!! I am not able to have desserts because I can’t have all the sugar, but one day....one day, I will!!! I am also partial to your baked sweet potatoes, broccoli and asparagus!!! Sautéed mushrooms are a must have with my steaks, but I eat them alone!!!

Something happened.. This app used to work great - I’d order my food and pay for it and go to pick it up, no issue. I hadn’t been to longhorn in a while and had to update the app and suddenly everything just sucked - I couldn’t even get to Checkout without ordering twice and deleting the duplicates, and I couldn’t check out without entering car information I didn’t have; nor was there an option to just walk in and pick up my food. I ended up not ordering at all because by the time I figured out the app was useless I didn’t have time to wait anymore so I just went to the place across the street that had a working app. At least now I know, next time I have to go in and order because there’s no app anymore!

Tonight. I submitted a wait list request at 5:30 tonight to be placed on the “Wait List table for 2”. I received a confirmation that I was number 26 and the wait was 41-50 minutes. Imagine when we arrived at 40 minutes to be told we were number 6 and the wait was 40 more minutes. When questioned I was told we don’t have enough servers and the wait list was not accurate. As I was walking out the door the host asked if I wanted to remain on the list and I said YES! I went back outside sat down for 15-20 minutes looked at my phone and discovered they removed me from the wait list! No phone call just removed. I will add that we have going to this restaurant for 25 years or longer - since they were on Hayward Road.

Default Payment Card. I’ve been trying to add a default payment card since last night but unfortunately it will not take it. We were really wanting some Longhorn last night for mobile order/pick up. After inputting all the card info (multiple times) it always comes back with “card not valid.” Please fix. Issue is not with my card or bank. I was able to order food from another restaurant via their mobile app with no issues at all. Also, please consider adding Apple Pay as an option. Thank you.

Worst App Ever. Literally the worst app I’ve ever downloaded. I had my order all correct for what my family wanted, it would not accept my name or my phone number. I tried to use a gift card (and we knew we would go way over that amount) so we had to pay the remaining balance but it wouldn’t let me use/add another payment method to pay the balance after the gift card. I finally ended up having to try just my credit card and it wouldn’t allow me to add the payment at all. Ended up cancelling the whole order and went to another restaurant. Very dissatisfied.

None. Excellent service for a to go order! Couldn’t consume alcohol because I had a lot of driving to do. I still sat at the bar and staff was very helpful. Tyler the waiter was as kind as one could be! I tipped him well even though it was carry out while a lot of people don’t! As a side note I watched a lady across from me order two beverages of alcohol.! She drank half of one and told Tyler that it wasn’t what she ordered! Nonsense! She got what she ordered, watched him poor the drink! Remember she drank half! Sent back! He was very polite to the lady even though she just robbed him! Another reason restaurants struggle!

Still needs work. I loaded the app primarily to see my points and rewards. The app does not do that. I still had to use the website for that. I was able to pay my bill from the app which was nice. Didn’t use the waiting list option since it was a Monday night but if that still works like all these other reviews - that option should be removed. There is no point in offering that on the app unless it allows you to use your wait time before arriving at the restaurant. Why even offer it on the app at all? It only creates animosity toward your chain.

Wait list?. I joined the “wait List” and it indicated a 35-40 minute wait. We left home and arrived approximately 25 minutes later. When my wife approached the hostess she was told the wait would be an additional FIFTY minutes. She was told the time had increased significantly. Displease, we retired to our car to wait. After about 30 minutes we received a text our table was ready. Once we were seated my wife points to a family getting drinks delivered to their table and tells me they were at the hostess station when she walked in. They were seated before us! So much for this app and using the wait list. No thanks Longhorn. Outback honors call ahead seating times.

Hour wait instead of a half hour. We were quoted 26-36 minutes for our wait time. We show up at 30 minutes and we were told it would be about 20-25 mins. I asked if this was additional to what we had already waited and the hostess said “yes unfortunately. I’m sorry”. Don’t make an app with a wait list option if it’s not accurate! We put ourselves in line to avoid this and now here we are, standing in the cold doors, waiting for a table for another half hour. Ridiculous. Also another recommendation for the app - include the countdown for the incorrect wait time so that way people know if they need to hurry to get there or have another 10 minutes to do something.

Not disappointed. We finally made it to our local Longhorns. We had heard a lot of having to wait stories, but I used the “get in line” option watched it closely and on a Tuesday night we had a “no wait” was seated and waited on promptly and friendly greetings by all whom we came in contact!! Our waiter was Will and he was fabulous !! Got our order precisely and in a timely matter, and removed our used plates out as we needed them and kept us stocked in drink refills,, I honestly came tell you how many times he checked on us but enough and he had other tables as well!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Will and the kitchen staff!!

So Disappointed. My family and I come here quite often and have never had a meal as bad as tonight. It started w the salads my salad was okay but had the wrong lettuce which was fine I ate it. My husband had a regular salad w ranch dressing and the dressing was very sour/ spoiled. After the second bite he became nauseous and couldn’t even attempt to eat anymore. The waitress came and asked if there was an issue and he explained that there was something very wrong w the salad dressing and she said “okay” and took it away. The dinners weren’t any better. My husbands steak was very burnt on the outside, it looked like someone ground up charcoal and covered the steak. The total flavor of the steak was “char”. My daughter who ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken was also disappointed as the chicken was way over cooked and had very little cheese on it. I’m not sure what was going on tonight but like I said we eat here quite often and it’s never been this bad. Our bill was almost $100 and for that kind of money you would hope you were getting a delicious meal. This will most likely be out last visit here for a very long time. Oh, on the bright side..the char from the steak got rid of the spoiled ranch flavor he had in his mouth before the dinner arrived.

Terrible App. Do not waste all of your time trying to place an order. Buggy and cumbersome to begin with. Once you you finally think you’re done and have submitted an order- nothing. This app does not work. Your order will not actually be sent to the restaurant, and you will have to reorder in person and wait even longer. I use to do web app development. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I am really getting sick of some app developers getting paid big bucks to create such terrible apps. I read the other reviews and see that these issues aren’t even new! The app has been terrible for a long time. This is something that should have never happened and, because they are informed through these reviews, they know it doesn’t work, yet don’t bother to fix it. They even have the restaurants in on it, and they feign ignorance and then get pushy about making you again place your order over the phone. If I wanted to call in my order I would have done that to begin with. Oh, and to all the geniuses on here writing restaurant reviews…really? Are you actually that dense? This is meant to be a means to submit a review about the iPhone app. No one cares that Flo down at your local Longhorn is the best server ever, and your food was delicious, or that Butch was a terrible server and your food was cold, plus you didn’t order the “special sauce” and it tasted funny. Here’s your sign….

Update??. I just spent 15 minutes and shutdown my phone even because the app would do nothing except tell me to update. Each time it went to the App Store I had to search for the app and it showed an update needed once. Doing that, I found it still told me to update. Finally I got it to update. Now I’m late ordering lunch. Next update please make certain that the link goes to the app to update it, instead of leaving users to search for it and waste 15 minutes on it.

Never works. We love this restaurant, but the app is terrible!!! The only positive note is that you can find the restaurant location, and you can use the menu to start your online order. But when you get to the checkout process, it NEVER works. I am always optimistic that this problem will be fixed, but tonight is the 4th time in the past 3 months that I’ve encountered problems. And it’s never exactly the same issue with checkout, so it seems like they fix one thing and mess up something else. I always have to end up calling in the order. And the restaurant staff always tells me that people keep telling them there’s a problem with the app. So frustrating!!!

Waiting too long. Placed an order online at 5:30 for pickup at 7. Did what was asked text with name and pickup # and then waited and waited and waited. At 730 a guy came out and for my name and he went inside. There was a lot of people waiting on orders. One car pulled up and they got their food within 20 minutes. A second vehicle pulled into the spot and after 15 minutes a lady brought her their food. They had a second order as well. We asked them what time they ordered (6:45) and now we are pushing 7:50. At 8 pm I got out of the car and went inside after the car next to us got its second order. After making my way through a crowd, I finally got to the area where the manager was. They said they only have 4 people working. They asked for my name again. So the after looking on the bar counter my food was the first bag there. I said something about it probably is cold by now since it was ordered at 5:30 for 7pm pickup and it’s now 8:15. They offered a dessert but I didn’t want to wait another hour for food. It was cold to lukewarm depending on what I was eating. Completely disappointed and won’t go back after the stupid stay at home order is lifted.

Literally the Worst App I’ve Ever Used. I don’t know where to start. 1) This app is incredibly difficult to navigate. 2) It adds items to your cart when you try to checkout without you knowing it (pay very close attention to your total before you pay) 3) When you add an item to your cart, the “Item Added” banner never goes away and it covers the cart button so you have to quit the app and go back in to checkout. 4) After you click “Confirm” to pay for your order, the app does nothing to indicate that your order has been or is being processed 5) It isn’t made for tablet screen sizes 6) Some screens don’t allow you to go back to the previous screen There’s more I could say but I’ve made my point. This app is absolute trash and I have no idea how it has 4.8 stars. This app shouldn’t even be on the App Store. I would rather go and stand in line for 2 hours and wait for my food to be cooked than use this app and I never wait more than 15 minutes at restaurants because I hate waiting somewhere just to eat. What a true piece of garbage.

Anniversary supper. We didn’t know if we would be able to get in, but we got to the Frankfort, Ky Longhorn at about 4:35. We were able to walk right in. The hostess was really nice and friendly. Waitress was at our table promptly and very friendly taking our drink order. When she came back with our drinks, we already had our bread. Taking our meal order and delivered it also as promptly. She checked on us and others when possible. All and all service was great, food was excellent and tonight was a success to us. We will be back. Thank you Frankfort Longhorn.

Service at Gulf shores Alabama Long Horn is 5 Star. Been going to this Long Horn since it opened and has never let me down. When you walk in and set down you are served. The manager steps in as part of the team and always comes by to check on you weather it's your first time or years of going there. We always go there for birthdays and anniversary and how special they treat you is top notch.

I love food apps but this one is really bad. I use food apps all the time on my iPhone and my wife and I visit Longhorn steak house at least once a month. So I decided to try the app. This was a bad mistake as every time I try to use the app it always says “Sorry something went wrong and it didn’t make it to our restaurant. Please try your order again” Now I am ok with SOME glitchs but not every time. I have tried several times with the hope that the next update will fix the issue but alas no luck. I will keep trying but I am not holding my breath.

Dissatisfied. Our family wanted to enjoy a family dinner at Longhorn in Kissimmee, FL. We tried putting our group on the waiting list but it allows for groups of 4 or less. So we did put our name in the waiting to rectify it when we arrived at the location. We when get there we immediately notified the male hostess that our group was on the waiting list but that the group was bigger than previous noted on the app. Mind you at this time we we’re still 8 in the waiting list. The hostess immediately said that the change in group number will add another 60 minutes to our wait. First of all who wants to wait almost 2 hrs to eat? Secondly where’s the customer service satisfaction? I was very dissatisfied with the customer service of the hostess not able to accommodate to our group. In this difficult times for the restaurant community the customers are trying to help but actions like the one presented by the hostess is what makes customers feel dissatisfied. He made 0% effort to make it work. We spent $150 tonight elsewhere.

No Bread. The app is working pretty well with a couple of exceptions. 1. Even if you select that you want bread, the print out that goes to the store says no bread. So, check your order and ask the delivery person (I always pick up at the store) to grab you a loaf or two. 2. The special request section for each plate only allows 50 characters. Try telling the store that you want “2x extra blue cheese and crumbles and don’t forget the bread”. Nope! FAIL. That is way more than 50 characters. So, it would be nice to have more than 50 characters. Characters are cheap, how about 100? 3. The ceasar salad option only gives you ceasar dressing. What if I want the ceasar lettuce (romaine) but would like blue cheese dressing? You can’t do that on the app. The ceasar salad option should be built like the garden salad option so that you can pick your dressing option. Then customers can get what they actually want. Just a couple of suggestions for the app that would really improve customer satisfaction at Longhorn. I know leaving an app review is a long shot, but I can’t figure out any other method of feedback for the app. Thanks.

Needs work. Before using this if you haven’t in a while make sure you are signed in, if not you have to start all over again. After that when adding my credit card info it repeatedly kept asking for the CVV and when it finally took it cancelled out my order. So I tried again and it did the same thing. So I decided to call the order in, and when prompted to key in my option, all 3 said there was error so I couldn’t call it in. Then I went inside to place the order and told them what I had went through and still was told that I had to call it in or do it online 😳After all of that I just said that they don’t deserve my business. Morrow Ga. location March 11 around 8pm.

Keep your card handy, mobile pay is very hit-or-miss. If you’re counting on the mobile pay feature in this app to get you settled up and out the door quickly after finishing your meal, make sure you have your physical card handy, is my advice. I’ve had a lot of problems getting it to work lately. Sometimes it crashes, and most times it just errors out. The other features of the app seem to work pretty well, such as the wait list function.

Join Wait List Doesn’t Work Well. I have used this app several times to determine the wait and join the wait list. When I check on the local Longhorn it typically shows no wait - and will not allow you to join the wait list if it shows no wait (unlike the sister program at Olive Garden that allows you to join the wait list even it there is no wait.). It seems almost every time I arrive at the restaurant a wait has mysteriously developed. On more than one occasion I have checked on the wait list when in the restaurant and waiting and the app shows there is no wait. I have pointed out to the local restaurant that the app shows no wait - but they have their waits showing on their system. This app needs to be upgraded to improve the wait list feature to make it useful.

Update: Thanks for the update, works well now.. Update to my review - after the updating and deleting/downloading the app, it is much MUCH better and seems to work well and fixes the problems I had. THANK U👍👏🏼 What a useless app for longhorn. It’s frustrating to place orders at your local restaurant and after you have picked what you want on the online menu via your phone, there isn’t ANY way to see, confirm or pay for the order. There isn’t a CART icon to click and see what’s in the cart and option to pay. The ONLY icons are - Hone, Location, Menu and OOO - whatever that means for your settings, login, cards, location, etc.

Can’t believe they released this update. Longhorn just updated it’s app. I’m guessing they did not test it at all. There is no back button, no button to check out, and when I finally had to add an extra item just to check out, a pop-up wouldn’t go away and made it impossible for me to finish my order. I finally just gave up and closed the app. Basic UI elements are missing. This says a lot about the company as a whole. Having a good app is essential in today’s world, and if the people at the top said this was OK, we all should be very concerned about the company as a whole.

Buggy app and online ordering system. **Update: Developer response said it was fixed. True: The problem below was fixed, however another problem I didn’t mention remains. I have an item saved as favorite in my account that includes a loaded potato with everything except green onions. When I add that item to my cart, it adds perfectly. When I go to checkout, it says “Sorry something went wrong, try again” and when I do, it gives the same message. When I add the same order on the website, it says “Sorry, the restaurant does not have an item in your order” and won’t allow me to add it to my order. However, when I re-add the item manually it works fine. Their online / app ordering system is very buggy. I order the same meal every single Friday for my family. Please fix your app, your food is AMAZING! —————————- I never have a problem ordering online, but when trying to use this app, it won’t let me see the menu. I click menu, select my restaurant, and the only option to view is “dinner”. I sit on this screen and it’s just blank. No matter which restaurant I select, there is no menu shown. It has my favorites that I selected online, so I can reorder my item from there, but I can’t order anything else. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but nothing helps. It looks like I’m the only one with the problem, but it would be great to know why.

A lot of bugs with this app. There are some major glitches with this app, such as not being able to add items to your cart and a message comes up saying “your pick up time has been changed” and I had not even gotten to that point. When you are able to add food the app doesn’t seem to communicate to the restaurant the entirety of the order. The whole process is one big circle. The restaurant is always nice and fixes whatever was left off or not recorded but that’s added work for them they shouldn’t have to worry about on the back end.

Greatest Steakhouse Of All Time!. As a frequent guest in similar steakhouses like Texas Roadhouse, saltgrass steak house, papas meat co I have to say this has got to be the greatest steakhouse I’ve been to in my entire 31 years on this planet!!! I will not be going anywhere else for the rest of my life. Everything from the decor to the extremely clean restrooms and friendly welcoming staff was just absolutely great. The food was phenomenal, but the service was even better!!! Thank you Longhorn!!!!!!!

Review with GRATITUDE. To the one that rated a One Star review because of their credit card, I simply have to say that you’re an IDIOT!!!!! You didn’t rate the food or experience!!!! Shame on YOU!!!! I came here tonight and had some very pleasant staff take my order outside of the restaurant.....in the cold nonetheless, due to the Corona virus pandemic, and were very efficient. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection!!!! I give FIVE STARS to this restaurant as well as their staff!!!! Hats off to you for serving us during this tumultuous time. I understand wholeheartedly the need to continue working whereas I’m a CNA. I’m grateful that I was able to get a great meal with wonderful service!!! I was too tired to cook for myself. I hope more people appreciate such wonderful service.

Curbside service. We ordered online for curbside pick up. Over an hour and 15 min later we got our meal, which was delicious. I spoke to the manager about our meal taking so long. When he brought our food he gave us $50 gift cards to make up for dropping the ball. I understand during these times that it can get overwhelming when their slammed with a parking lot full of customers. Kudos to the manager for stepping up. Tip the workers well. Good job.

Don’t even bother going here!. I have been going here since they opened, ordered to go when the pandemic happened, and have continued to be an avid supporter! I never have a bill under 120 dollars and always leave 20% tips even on to go orders. Tonight I did the call ahead seating and it said 40 minutes so I got there in 40 minutes then they said it would be an additional 40 minutes when I got there, saying the call ahead seating now means nothing! We waited 40 minutes and saw larger parties get seated the at 40 minutes they said 20 more minutes, then at 20 minutes they said twenty more minutes so we just left after waiting an hour and a half. Never going here again!

I drive past my local longhorn for a reason.. I live in Naples, Fl and I drive past my local location 25 miles to visit the gulf coast town center location in fort Myers, FL. Why do I do that? Several months ago I was served by a delightful woman named Amanda. I have returned many times and I have asked for Amanda specifically every time. As a busy businessman I just want to relax and enjoy my salmon. Amanda now remembers me and always greets me with a friendly hello and a cheerful smile. She never rushes and she doesn’t hover around my table yet we always have time for a little friendly banter. I’ve reviewed her several times and I’ll say this again: she is a keeper!!

The App. Checked in with the App it said 41-50 minutes. Longhorn is about 20 minutes away. Since it was going to be longer we decided to stop and get gas first. Guess what the 41-50 minutes doesn’t start until you arrive at the restaurant and check in. We waited over an hour. When I asked about the wait I was told they were taking people that had waited longer than us. So basically the wait list is a waste!!! Therefore the App is a waste also. I never get any perks or coupons on the App. Nothing doe the loyal customer. Great food but not worth the wait. Will rethink another visit to Longhorn!!!! Also if you give this review a 1 star it won’t let you post!!!!

Not what we expected. We placed our order online for pickup at what was obviously a busy time. When the app told us at 5:15pm that our order would be ready at 5:50pm that was reasonable. By the time we entered our payment the pickup time had changed to 7:00pm. I called and they gladly changed it to pickup in 20minutes with the explanation that they had 3 orders at the same time so the system altered the time. When we arrived our order was ready & they delivered it to our car promptly. Next chapter to the story is that we took our food home and sat down to eat it. We were very surprised to have fried chicken instead of chicken fried steak. We have ordered takeout steaks and chicken fried steak from Longhorn in the past but never even knew they had fried chicken. We ate it because we didn’t want to drive all the way back and we were hungry. It was ok but surely not what we expected.

Pickup Unavailable Issue. I love the setup on the app. I love the restaurant and the food. But I am so tired of ordering and then the app tells me that the soonest available is not available to pickup. So then I advance the time about 10 miniutes and reorder, and it still repeats the same message. I even put it 2 hours ahead, and it still said my pickup time was unavailable. This has happened nearly every time I have tried to submit my on the app. So I went and ordered it online, but not on the app...And sure enough, I was able to pick it up within 25 minutes. Please fix whatever is causing this technical error.

Misunderstood. The app gives you wait times, obviously it’s still first come first serve. If you wait to arrive at the last minute but 4 parties show up before you and there happens to be tables available, of course they’re going to be seated first and you will have to wait longer. Common sense people! Then the customers who physically showed up early to wait would never get seated. Stop being ignorant and complaining because you think you should just show up and get seated. Check in, show up as soon as possible and maybe you’ll even get a table sooner. Or better yet, if you really don’t want to wait order to go!

Anita M. Lee, Customer. The food and the service was excellent . I enjoyed my fruit salad and the rib eye. The waitress Jada was very professional, well mannered, efficient, and I will ask for her when I come back. I tipped her for her service. I will be back because my nephew and I have lunch here. I love the atmosphere. My favorite place is at the bar. Due to the Delta Variance I sat in a booth.! I do not think the resturant owner has the right to keep .68 in change from my money ;!without asking me because they do not have change. I gave them the .32 and they refunded me my 1.00 back. If you keep .68 from every customer you serve that day you have unlawfully taken money that does not belong to you without consent. This is not ethical when you do not notify the customer in ADVANCE, in writing, or by word of mouth. I gave Jada her tip because when I expressed my concern she wanted to give me a dollar from her tip money. That really gave me an anger rush. She is doing the work and willing to give me money out of her pocket. She works for her tips and she is fast, efficient, polite, pays attention to details and checks her tables frequently. Please practice better ethics and notify the customer if they use cash you will round it off to the nearest dollar. Then the customer has a choice of using cash or card. There is change at BOA. I get it all the time. Thanks for the lesson and I will only use my credit card in the future.

Couldn’t get it cooked right.. While stopping at the Longhorns in Oxford Alabama my husband ordered the 22 ounce ribeye and I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye. My husband‘s ribeye was absolutely wonderful and cooked to perfection mine came out are so thin that you would’ve made a sandwich out of it instead of a thinking you were eating a steak and it was over done resent it back and by this time my husbands through eaten when I get it back so we have to get it to go and it looks worse than the first one and it was even thinner than the first one so we just put it in the bag and left not only that but I was going to go to the restroom and whole area smelled like sewage. Mobile Pay is Awesome. I eat out a lot and try to always use apps whenever possible. Longhorn has made Mobile Pay better than anywhere else I’ve tried. It took them a few years, but it’s now SO FAST and CONVENIENT that it would be nearly impossibly to pay your server directly with a card any faster than the app. Obviously the first time takes a little longer because you have to add you card data, but after that, LESS THAN A MINUTE every time! Thanks Longhorn IT Team!!

The app is horrible. I’ve called the store to ask, id put the order in and it never went to the store. This has happened three times now, you go put the order in and pay and you go to pick up and they never had an order in so now you have to wait twice the amount for it to cook. The app also will tell you times aren’t available for no reason, save your last order and not let you delete it. Only way I’ve found to do this is by deleting the app and reinstalling it...and it’ll fix for the first order. I love long horn and go there at least 3-4 times a month but this app is ridiculous, it won’t send your order in or it won’t let you place an order and I’ve the app now a year and a half..I almost always have to call in the order.

No point in getting this app. First, you can't manually update this app. Second, it doesn't work well because you either can't pay the bill using the app or it tells you there's an issue and you'll need to call in the order. Third, just call the restaurant and place the order. You can even pay in advance if you would like to. Let a server have some job security! They can answer your questions about today's specials and help you tweak your order to fit the way you like it. I've given up on the app and I'm a bit peeved about it, but thankfully an order can still be placed and picked up with very little social interaction for those of us who prefer it that way.🙂

Family night out!. The food and drinks were great! The service was not so great although my daughter has been here several times in the past 2 weeks and said the service was exponential! Unfortunately not tonight. Maybe our server is having a bad day. I really cannot say. But she walked past us many times after serving our drinks, appetizers and entree and never once asked us how everything was it if we needed anything else. Disappointing to say the least! That part anyways! Nevertheless we will be back for Michelle! My daughter speaks very highly of her. She was off tonight!

The best quality steakhouse for your dollar. Whenever I’m on the road, I search for a Longhorn Steakhouse. If there’s one in 10-15 miles, that’s where I’ll be enjoying a quality lunch. Although I usually order a steak at Longhorn for dinner, I always order the Parmesan crusted chi for lunch. It is absolutely the best chicken dish I have ever had at a chain restaurant! And I always order the French onion soup which is the best I’ve ever had except at the Paris hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It’s too bad that the closest Longhorn to my home is 45 miles away!

Not the best experience. Out or the last 7 or 8 times that me and my family been there this was the worst experience I ever had here the wait staff was not the most pleasant. The waitress who brought out our food just came over and started putting out the food without even giving any a chance to move or actually get out of her way and she was doing it to to all the tables. And the waitress was not the most attentive I put out my credit card to pay when she brought it back I went to get it and she hands it to my wife also not to friendly. I need more dressing for my salad she walked by 3 times while I tried getting her attention she looked right at me and kept walking until I said something to her. And this is the first time I didn’t like my steak nothing but grease and no seasoning but I don’t usually complain about my because I don’t want anyone thinking I want my food for free.

Need a place for notes!. Love the app! Easy to join the wait list and I like the notification that our table is ready. However, it needs a place to make a note a about needing a table or half table/half booth instead of a booth please! And more offers/coupons would be nice! I rarely receive any.

App does not reflect correct wait times/info. We looked at the app to determine if we needed to put our name on the Wait List - app said ‘No Wait’ at our selected location, but upon entering we were told there is a 30-45 minute wait. And when asking why the app told us that there wasn’t a wait the Hostess told us that the app is ‘notorious at being incorrect’. Please get it together!! This is unacceptable at this point in time.

It’s my mommy’s Birthday🥰. This place was amazing during these difficult times!! Very clean and omg my Rib Eye was the best steak I have ever had, and especially just recently eating at Jack’s Oyster house! Jacks HAS NOTHING on Longhorn!! Nothing!! Excellent birthday supper. Had one of the best meals in a very long time for my birthday.. steak was perfect and tender flo’s and the lobster was a little spicy but the butter took care of that and it was so tender and just right...the salad the loaded baked potato was the bomb... to finish it off with a birthday Sunday that I totally ate all by myself!!! Bread. I do not understand why the honey bread option is not working. When I go to the order confirmation screen include honey bread is selected. But after I pay for my order and see the order summary the include honey bread option says NO. This means that if I want honey bread I then have to call the store when I arrive and explain that I did select bread but the order did not include it and would they please include it.

Bad app costs a sale. For the most part, the app is really good & usable. The app gets a one star rating, because when I made changes to the cart, they did not stick. This means that when I hit the checkout button, previously deleted items would be added back into my check. Ultimately, this meant that I could not order from them because they were trying to make me order things I decided I did not want. Bad app… no sale! I’ll go elsewhere. Shame.

Love this App!. This app is so easy to use, it stores your previous orders and favorites. It is easy to re-order favorites and the menus are easy to pull up whether it is lunch or dinner. I also like that the calories are listed making it easy to make smart choices!

I wish I could give it 10 stars. I travel for work almost every day and I’ve been using the website forever to get takeout because I didn’t know there was an app. App makes it so fast to order my food when I leave a job site. The location finder is my new favorite thing. I wish every restaurant had an app this good.

App does not work!. We have used the app for several months with no issues. However, we have tried to order via the app on three different days this week and each time the app displays a message that the order did not process and try again. After multiple tries on each day we finally gave up. We did a phone order once but we discovered that the order was incorrect when we got home. Very frustrating! The local LongHorn’s told us that “corporate” was limiting the online orders to 5 per hour. Crazy!

Unacceptable. I placed an Order online to pickup-curbside. Placed the order at 8:30. They said the food would be ready at 9:10. Someone came to bring us our food at 9:40 after calling twice to see what time the food would be coming out. Once the food arrived I was missing a steak and the food was cold. At that point I no longer wanted my food. The only thing they could say was they were backed up. I visit this location frequently and the parking lot was not packed at all. It’s no way we would have waited that long had we went inside to eat. I just wanted a refund.

Not really what it represents. Using the app, there is a 100 minute wait. Awesome, there is a “join the wait list” option. Not expecting things to be perfect, we show up at the restaurant and get told, the app saves you 30-40 minutes off of what the wait actually is, so they wanted us to wait another hour and 30 minutes. If it isn’t integrated to the stores, don’t offer it. Actually really enjoy the restaurant, but after a snarky hostess comment and an extremely poor app experience, I’ll be looking for a new favorite steak place.

Poor packaging choices. Our food is always excellent but some of the packaging choices can ruin a good dinner. We love their steak sandwich but don’t always want fries with it. Do not order it with asparagus or broccoli unless you want your bread soggy with veg juice. Why in the world would you not separate the 2 to keep that delicious bread crispy? It completely ruined the whole meal. Very disappointed.

Terrible App!!!. If I could give less than 1 star to this app, I would!!! The app gives you a pick up time at the beginning but then, after everything is entered, it tells you that pick up time is no longer available and makes you re-enter everything. I literally re-entered my information 10 times, choosing 10 different pick up times, later & later each time, until I finally gave up and called the restaurant and placed my order over the phone. This is the worst app I have ever used!

Food was fine. Food was fine, but the experience was horrid. I called the restaurant - phone was out. Finally got through, the GM said to use the app to order curbside pickup. “It’s easy,” he said. I had to do the entire order three times before it went through. When it finally went through, the pick up time was NOT the one I confirmed -THREE TIMES. I got to the restaurant, the server bringing out food was not masked. Then when my food came out, the server said I hadn’t paid, even though I put in my card, and it was “saved” on my account, and said it charged. This is AWFUL. if you EVER want people to use this - get it right!!!

Liked it but have suggestions. It would be nice to join the waitlist using the app and also to earn points when you pay through the app. I would come back more often if there were rewards and coupons also since it’s so close by. Otherwise it’s great by allowing me to see the wait times at the closest locations, so I can determine which one to go to.

Excellent Service and Food!. Had lunch at the new Fort Worth location. Great service, food cooked exactly as ordered. Looked appetizing and was delicious. Managers (Juan) and trainers walking the floor checking on customer stations, very welcoming and alert to customer needs. I will definitely be back. So glad the restaurant is finally open after a year of wait.

App WHY?. Got the app specifically to get in the line once we’re on the way - then I got here and found out I didn’t actually do anything - wasn’t actually “in line” - and didn’t save myself one second. I even said to the greeter “so getting the app and signing in was a useless waste of time” and the greeter’s response was, “yes, for the most part”. How ridiculous!! Why even have an app if it doesn’t do anything besides irritate the people who are already planning to come to your restaurant? Makes me regret not going somewhere else - which I’m very likely to do next time.

Always Great. Our trip to Longhorn Steakhouse was once again a delicious delight. I had the cowboy ribeye and my wife had the Flo’s Filet. Both were cooked just the way we like them, juicy a delicious. Our waiter, Spencer, checked on us often making sure everything was perfect. A five star performance by one and all. We will definitely be back.

Best steak ever. Me and my wife had the day off and decided to stop in and have a steak. The service was amazing! The food came out quickly and was so delicious! I recommend the Outlaw ribeye. It was cooked to perfection! The waitress was excellent and the Manager came by to check on us several times and was so friendly! We will definitely be back soon!

Great service.. They were super busy, yet the service was excellent. Our food came out fast and fresh. Our waitress was outstanding. She kept checking on us , refilling our drinks, and asking us how everything was. We were very pleased with everything.

Best steakhouse!. My boyfriend and I are long time restaurant people. I am very particular about our service, and he is very critical of the food. Neither of us has had a reason to complain about anything and all of the times we have been to LongHornSteakhouse.

Not user friendly. Though some improvements seem to have been made, particularly with the payment process. There is no way (or at least not an obvious way) to check out. The only way I could find to check out was to check out at the same time you add an item meaning that I had to add an extra item just to check out and then delete it. Maybe the addition of a shopping cart would make this a more logical process.

Poor customer service. Went to pick up my curbside order, called to let them know I was there. Girl said “we’ll get your order right out”. After 20 minutes, I called back to see what was taking so long. They then informed me that nobody would bring my food out because it was raining & I would have to come inside to pick up my order. I wasn’t told this when I called the 1st time. I did not have a mask with me to go inside since I only planned to go there for curbside pickup. It was over 35 minutes before they finally brought my food out. Needless to say, food was cold & I was not happy!!!

Unusable. I’ve tried several times to use this to order curbside and am always getting ‘unable to process’ and ‘your order didn’t make it through our system try again’ notices. I really want to be able to order, but if they can’t get the app right during COVID when the only option we have is to pick up, that makes me second guess if they really care that much. It seems every single thing I tap just results in an error message. Don’t waste your time and order from someplace like Chili’s that has a decent app that actually works....

Wait List. The waitlist feature needs to work better. I checked the waitlist prior to leaving home and then again in the parking lot and their was not wait. However, when I went inside, there was a 30 minute wait. This makes the waitlist function within the app useless. Not sure if this happens a lot but has happened twice.

App no longer working. Have previously used without an issue and loved it, but quantities keep increasing incorrectly now and I’m unable to order. If I try to add three variations of chicken fingers, all with different sides, the first one submitted gets changed to a quantity of 3, the second to a quantity of 2, and the last one is correct. If I try to update the quantities, items drop off the cart entirely. I’m using an iPhone X and iOS 13.5.1 Tried submitting a report using the app support but I have to pick a restaurant and time and all but it’s not a restaurant specific issue.

Amazing food and customer service. With all that’s going on in our world today I am truly amazed at the quality of food and amazing service we get every time at our location here in Riverview thank you for the great customer service many blessings to you and your family’s who work hard to make there customers feel so appreciated

Ordering on line. We ordered on line this evening for the most part it worked well but not enough options or locations to put them. Over al we were missing some condiments and were able to manage but would rather have had the for our dinner

Won’t Process Payment. I have tried to place To-go orders using the several times over the last few months. Each time without fail, the payment will not process and I have to call the restaurant to order and provide the same payment info that would not process in the app. It’s quite frustrating that, even though there’s been several updates to the app, this issue has not been addressed.

Outstanding food and service. This place was outstanding. The food was delicious, timely, hot, and plentiful. Adriana was so attentive. She had such a welcoming personality. Management came around to see how everything was. You don’t see this type of attention in too many restaurants now a days. This was vey much appreciated. You’ll see us again.

Awesome. The whole meal experience was fabulous! Fairly short wait was well worth it. Jeff, our server, was extremely personable and passionate about his job. Hint…try the Brussel sprouts! The timing of how our food arrived was spot on. And Mike (GM) was patient and listened to us. Put this restaurant on your list of favorites, it was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Apple Pay doesn’t work because the developer doesn’t know how to handle phonetic names.. I have never been able to pay for a meal with Apple Pay with any Darden Restaurant app. It always fails with a grammatically questionable error message “Unable to process your request at this moment. Please retry again.” I suspect this is because the Darden developers (or whomever Darden hired to make these apps for them) don’t know how to handle the phonetic names that Apple sends with the payment information. Phonetic names are in hiragana or katakana. For example, my phonetic first name is ジョン. When will this get fixed?

No Bread!. The option for bread does not work, which has caused me to receive no bread on occasion. Whether you leave the bread option on, turn it off, or turn it off then back on, the restaurant receives a ‘no bread’ indication on their end. Thankfully my local restaurant employees are wonderful and either give us bread anyway or at least ask if we want some. They’re aware there’s an issue with the app but haven’t been able to get it fixed. Hoping a review can get this issue corrected!

Outstanding!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. My wife(33) & I (33) ate here for the very first time @ LongHorns off I-16 Exit 51 for the first time and it was very pleasant! She ordered steak medium well & with shrimp, Broccoli, Rice. I had double Loaded Mashed potatoes & lightly breaded Mac N cheese, Finishing with a Medium Rare steak juicy N Tender to perfection! Certainly brought a Tear to my eye & a Gratifying Thanks from both of our stomachs LoL Thank You, we shall return!!!

Continues to Fail. This app continues to disappoint. After spending over 30 minutes trying to order I gave up. This app is a general disservice to your restaurant employees and your app team should be forced to sit in an icu with coronavirus patients until they get this right. The problem with this update is that after selecting my product to order and I hit add, remarkably nothing happens. I log out and log back in to no avail. I reboot the app. Doesn’t work. This is really sad. I have other complaints but the fact this one important function fails kind of finishes this for me. Thanks for reading.

Yummy steak. Waiting on manger for 30 minutes and he would not come out to talk. The service was almost good. The food was heavy on the salt. Overtly heavy. First time in around 15 years it was bad. Wife’s steak was burnt mine was soaked in salt. Wish the manger would have talked to me. I still love my longhorn. Anyway do better. Eddie Madrid

Poorly written app and ‘wait list’. I couldn’t believe that after using the app to get on the wait list and quoted a 36-45 minute wait time that I was told the same 40 minute wait time when I checked with the host. When I asked, he stated that the wait time doesn’t start until you check in with the host. That’s no different and impressively deceptive as represented in the app and the description of getting on this list. My party immediately left and deleted the app. Very poor customer relations and will always color my feelings about this chain.

DO NOT USE YOUR APPLE CASH. Don’t use your Apple Cash literally took $230 out of my Apple cash and kept erroring saying that my order didn’t go through on the restaurant end but it actually went through and it took all my money out not just pending a full clear transaction. The actual restaurant can’t do anything because it doesn’t show up anything on their end but on my Apple Cash it shows longhorn took all transactions and there not even anyways to get a hold of someone I have to fill out there stupid form and hope someone gets back to me. AWFUL GLITCH

Just a repeat customer. Husband, myself, with two adult sons had a superb dinner tonight at Morehesd city NC location of Longhorns Steakhouse. Bill amount was more than $100. dollars . Wait time on app was short, service by Abagail was wonderful and efficient, as well as a pleasing attitude . Have been coming for years and decided to download the app. tonight. Thanks to all who work so hard in this industry.

Adding Payment Methods. I am excited about the app, and haven’t used it yet so I can’t vouch for the wait time issues that have been reported but it refuses to recognize my card number as valid whereas every other app on my phone does. Possible it needs to be a credit card and not a debit card but if so that is a very limiting and disappointing feature since I do not use my credit card when dining out.

Great food and service. Always enjoy eating and relaxing at longhorn restaurant our food has never disappointed us along with our waitress which is always fabulous and makes our night out so special. A big shout out to Donnie he seems to read our mind and never makes us wait. If you visit longhorn we suggest you ask for him he’s the best

I’m DONE with them. The very first time I ate there my prime rib came out overcooked and hard around the outside. It should have been a sign however, we continued to eat there. There has been an issue every time we went with the food or staff. We had take out twice now since the covid19 lockdown. The first order was half rack of ribs and a sweet potato. The ribs were burnt with bbq sauce poured on top. The sweet potatoe was also burnt which I have no idea how you do that. My meal today was cold when it came out, no ketchup or mayo, and no napkins. I have never had any issues at Gilligans or Texas Roadhouse. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LONGHORN STEAKHOUSE AGAIN!!!!!

Worst Visit ever. long wait time, inaccurate information, i called to get a reservation was told to come in, once i got to the restaurant i was told reservations cant be made ove the phone, was told to wait add’t 45 mins even after a 20 min arrival from the time of the call. After 35 mins the hostess attempted to tell me the wait had went to add’t 35mins even after waiting 40 mins to be seated. This was the worst experience and the food was no better I wish I would have left when the 1st problem occurred.

Perfection. Hello today is October 20 I picked up a to go order of theParmesan chicken with extra Parmesan on the side ,, around 8:20 PM Stephen Benoit again ,,,i deff love that chicken and this place,,, tonight they did a fantastic job they filled in the special order just as asked ,,, the waitress had a large smile maybe even call it perfect ,,, thank you very much give them a raise,,,$$$ 💯💯

Burned offering.. I ordered a to go a med well steak. When I got it home it was past well done. It was black. Called told manager on duty I would send pictures of the steak if she needed. She said I would get an email and my money credited back to my card. Five day’s later two calls later no credit. If you order a to go order at Southport Longhorns check your order before you leave.

Satisfied Customer. My online order was easy to place, however I requested a split payment part gift card & balance on debit card and system took entire payment from my debit card instead!! Please enhance your payment process to honor how the customer would like to pay Bill.., Hamburger was cook perfect and very tasty! Thanks

Won’t work with my card. From other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who's had the app fail to process a debit card. The app fails to process a payment. Instead, you have to pay at the restaurant, despite the ostensible option to pay through the app. The app is incapable of placing an order for the Legendary Steaks & Pairings - Flo's Filet & Longhorn Salmon. Who knows what other items th3 app can't process? Customer support responded terrifically, although the inability to process cards through the app persists. The development team isn't getting it done and doesn't care enough to test the app's performance. Management is too incompetent to make corrections.

Paying on app. At first I could not get the app to take my credit card information. I noticed that after I scanned my card I still needed to type in my name as it was listed on the card. After I did that it added my card information and I was able to order. It was a very fast and easy way to order.

Awesome Dinner. Been here several times since they opened. Have enjoyed each visit. Staff is friendly and professional and food is delicious. We have had Morgan as our waitress a couple of times and she remembered what we order to drink and our favorite appetizer. She is amazing!!

Enjoying the Salmon!. I have been getting Salmon for the last 3 weeks and every time it’s delicious. The service has been exceptionally wonderful. They seem to enjoy their job!!! I have to drive almost 30 minutes, but it truly is worth the drive! Hallelujah!!!!💕💚💕
