Best home workout. I’ve been doing tone it up for years now, and it has gotten me in the best shape of my life in the past. I broke my ankle on Mother’s Day 2020 and couldn’t walk for 4 months. I graduated from physical therapy in December and couldn’t wait to start a new year with TIU. I rated 4 stars for the following reasons: My suggestions for the app would be to have a news section that is similar to the emails (I can’t find the tiu21 challenge schedule in the app so have to search for the workouts). And to have an easier search function. It would also be nice to be able to add a workout that’s not from the app, so that you can keep your workout log all in one place, along with a food log too, that would be awesome. Lastly, having a modified person for hiit workouts has been so helpful as I get back into working out after pregnancy or an injury. So more workouts with a modified version/person would be awesome. I’m always thankful for the discount on the yearly membership as well. Thank you TIU for being there for me throughout the years!

Just okay.. I have followed TIU for several years and I must say I prefer the way it was done on the website before the app. The app does not have a weekly schedule or assigned workout for the day anymore. There only seems to be an “example” of a weekly schedule listed. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK! The app really does not have many features that can be used unless you pay for the subscription which is not cheap. I understand that the cost of the app is less than a gym membership but you can’t really compare the two since one is at home based and the other offers a variety of equipment, group classes, saunas, etc. I hate to say it because I love TIU but the app is not my favorite. TIU has taken away almost all of it’s free content and it is pretty disappointing, especially for those who knew TIU when they were a smaller company. Update to my review based on the developer response: The point is, you took away the weekly schedule/ daily workout feature that was available to ALL and now it is only available if you pay the monthly subscription. Not frickin cool. I understand if TIU wants to make certain features that are new available only to those that pay the fee but to take away features that were once available to everybody and only allow those that pay to use them going forward is messed up. It is starting to turn off a lot of your long time consumers.

Please add back the ability to get in a class in session. Another update: when we get kicked out, there is longer a way to get back in or to join a class a few minutes late. Please add this back by adding classes in session back on the schedule. ———- Update: Thank you TIU team for adding workouts on the half hour during the week. This will help me out tremendously and now I can be a participating member of the TIU Community. You rock for answering this request! ————- I just purchased a subscription for the year after using the free version for the last few months. I loved the free version because I could workout when I wanted. I decided to give a subscription a-go because I wanted to try out the ‘live classes’. Unfortunately, I need one more time slot in order to make the app work for me in the morning. Let me explain. I get up at 5:30 already. Between 5:30 and 6:30 I need to both take my dog out and feed her AND go to the bathroom myself. 7am is too late for a class because I need to be at work by 8 with a half hour drive, and a 6am class is too early because my dog would have to wait longer for me to feed her when I get home. Could I shift her feeding schedule around so she eats after? I suppose, but for those of you with dogs, you know they pattern with little internal clocks. It would be difficult to change her schedule at this point. Please add a half hour time slot for those of us who work at 8 or get home in time for a 5:30 workout.

Love TIU! But the app has room for improvement. Let me start by saying I’ve been a TIU member for a few years now and I just love K&K, their positivity and community!! I love the workouts within the app, but I have a very demanding job and need to be able to do a class within small windows of time. Please add a function to be able to take the studio class at any time of the day with the push of button. Please! This would be so helpful. With busy lifestyles you want to fit in working out whenever you can, and having to wait every half hour or every hour on the weekends has me having to do other workouts. Also the search function in the on demand section does not work. So if I miss I class and I want to take it the next day, I cannot find it. It’s so frustrating. Also please please add a function to save to favorites!! I’ve seen this mentioned a lot in the reviews and should be something simple to add in and it will make a lot of girls happy. Lastly, it would be great to be able to track your water and a calendar to see your workout progress. These small updates will make this app in a class of its own. Thank you!! Xoxo

missmary_bbn. I just read a handful of below average reviews for Studio TIU. I typically am the girl that does her research before making a commitment to purchase a subscription but I have deep love for K&K and I have been a proud member of TIU for countless years!! I have given K&K free shoutout advertisement on social media, purchased all their dvds (the dvds are amazing), and purchased loads of items online and at my favorite store, Target. I am a huge fan! I was on the fence about the app because of my wifi connection. I finally took the plunge and purchased a full year at a discounted members only amazing price but when I attempted to use it ONE DAY after my free trail it kept freezing during the on demand videos while screen mirroring to my AppleTV. I contacted them that day, on MLK day and got a response the very next day informing me that they do not provide refunds. I should’ve read that prior to making the yearly commitment purchase but I have never known a business to not refund an unhappy customers order. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed and shocked that my money wasn’t refunded. I admire these girls and I have proudly followed them for years. I even bought a new router/modem and have blazing fast WiFi speed and the app still continues to constantly freeze during screen mirroring to my AppleTV. I have done all I can do to make this app work. I would happily give it 5 stars if it did.

No more Issues with Apple mirroring 😊. Updating my previous review! I absolutely love the workouts the only downfall was issues with Apple mirroring on my Apple TV. The latest update must have fixed the issue because I can now mirror onto my TV with no issues! I’m so happy I don’t have to do the workouts from my iPad or iPhone. It’s only been about a week since I’ve had no issues so I’m hoping it lasts! Previous review: I absolutely love the workouts however I have issues with mirroring the workouts to my Apple TV from my iPhone. The workouts may start off ok, but then they will lag, I’ll lose audio, and/ or the screen will just turn completely white. If I turn off the mirroring, I’m kicked out of the class and it restarts. I can be 6 minutes into a class and have to start over. I reached out to customer service and they told me to make sure my WiFi connection was strong and everything was up to date. Everything is fine on my end with internet and updates so unfortunately it’s an issue with the app. Thankfully I have a month to month subscription and can cancel. My phone is way to small to do these workouts from :/

The app changed.. and so did the workouts.. I’ve been following Karena and Katrina for years. I LOVE their beach babe workouts. They were consistently changing, they were almost always on the beach and that was a HUGE selling point for me. I won’t be renewing for a few reasons. Recently, there have been less and less workouts on the beach and more in their studio. Those are fine, but not why I joined. Than they updated the app: it is beyond frustrating. I have an updated iPhone and when you go into on demand workouts you can’t tell which group is too what photo... they are all off center 🙄. It’s a lot harder to follow and they aren’t loading enough new workouts for me to continue paying for the app. I will still follow those babes, because they are amazing. But the app, and the workouts need a LOT of updating and help. One more thing. There needs to be an option for longer workouts. 19 min and 34 min are great for when I’m rushing but it’s beyond annoying to have to look up another workout fast forward through the warm up just to get a longer workout. I’d love the option for 46-1 hr long classes for the days I want that extra umph.

I love the app... when it works. I’ve been using this app for just over a week and I love it... when it works. I’ve only been able to do one live studio class successfully. All of the others I’ve tried to do have kicked me off within the first couple minutes of the video. So, I’ve been doing the on demand videos instead but those have also been having some issues. Sometimes the voice over lags creating an annoying echo, and the video will just disappear. The voice over will continue but the video portion becomes a white box. Then today I went to do the daily moves and the forward/back arrows to continue onto the next exercise wouldn’t work. I restarted the app, then my phone when that didn’t work, and it was still giving me the same issue. My iPhone is up to date, my phone screen is clean and I have a strong WiFi connection. Unfortunately I can only assume these are bugs within the app. As I stated in the beginning I do enjoy the app. I just hope these bugs are fixed soon or I will have to stop using it.

A balanced way to stay fit!. I LOVE this app! TIU provides fun daily workouts that fit into your schedule! They are just the right intensity, being challenging and providing results without causing burnout for your body. An amazing part is that each daily workout is also available OnDemand so if you do not make the scheduled times you can start working out at whatever time works for you. The weekly schedules provide variety and a break from trying to manage your routine yourself! The best best part of this company and brand is the positivity, fun, love, support, and body love that comes with each workout. It is not “no pain no gain” it is not “let’s pick at what’s wrong with you” it’s not competition. It’s having fun with the girls, playing, and helping our bodies find their balanced strong happy healthy place. As someone who has recovered from an eating disorder and exercise addiction this is a vital part of any workout routine I pick up. Thank you K&K!

Love!. The app is great! Scheduling classes tends to keep me accountable and not hit snooze. Sometimes the video stops playing but the sound will continue, but it could just be my internet. I’m confident TIU will continue to make this app even better than when it started! Update as of 2/4/19: I still love this app and everything TIU, however, I still struggle occasionally with my weak internet connection to play the videos. The videos will either pause/go to a white screen and then play with sound/just not load at all. I would love the option to adjust the video quality to 144p so my internet can handle the video and play it the entire way through without pausing. Also, sometimes the “Welcome to Studio TIU” video will occasionally play while a video is playing or another video sound will begin to play when I’m trying to another video (e.g., I exit out of a video that already started but wouldn’t play and try a different one and the previous video will play the sound to it while the current video is playing).

BEST fitness program and app!!!. I have always been an active person but I got in the best shape of my life using the Tone It Up workouts and nutrition guide! I took a break from their program to focus on lifting and trying a different approach. But after a few months away I came right back to this app and fell back in love with the routines and extensive variety of workouts available! I immediately felt myself getting stronger and could remember why I would ever stop using this app! I get to find routines for what my body needs and the varying lengths of time on the workouts allow me to fit them in at all times of the day! All of the trainers are so positive and encouraging that I look forward to workout out with them. I am super thankful for the pregnancy section as I am in my second trimester and I love having these options available to me so I can stay in shape over the next 6 months and beyond with the postnatal routines. Thank you K&K for a life changing tool and all the work you put in to giving us a quality product!

Studio TIU is the future 🙌🏽. I’ve been doing TIU for almost two years now and this App has put them on another level. I look forward to waking up every morning and going to “class” with other girls in the community. It is so easy to schedule the workouts, participate in them and get the best sweat you’ve ever gotten. There are so many options to choose from. The best part is they aren’t long, so it doesn’t take a lot of time out of your day. If you can’t make a timed workout, you can choose it from the on demand section, or even something different to do. I love that the daily moves show you how to do them, instead of just a picture. My favorite part of the app is connecting with other like minded women in this community. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this community is incredible so being able to chat with girls before your workout gives you the feeling you are really in a class. Thank you Tone it Up for creating this incredible app! 💗💗

Helps Me Stay Fit and Safe During Tough Pregnancy. I lost a lot of weight and muscle mass during my first trimester. I was on bed rest and unable to work out, not to mention dealing with terrible nausea and fatigue. When I finally felt better during the second trimester I was honestly scared that I’d lost most of my fitness and I felt absolutely terrible about myself. Luckily, I found TIUs pregnancy program and started it right away. Now in my third trimester, much of my fitness and muscle tone is back and I finally feel healthy like I wanted to during pregnancy!! I love that the workouts are challenging but not too long. You can pair up sets of workouts for days you are feeling better and have more energy. I also like that there is an on demand section so you can always go with the workout you feel you need that day. I bought the yearly membership and will be doing the post natal program as soon as the baby arrives. Definitely worth the purchase.

The reason I get out of bed in the dark to workout. It used to be easy to sleep in & commit to working out after work, but then not workout after work. It used to be hard to really get motivated to get out of bed, before 6AM, in the dark, in the winter, while my husband two kids were still sound asleep. Ever since I signed up for the Studio Tone It Up app, that has all changed. It first started with the motivation of being signed up for a class. After chatting with positive, happy girls all over the world each morning before and after the workout, we formed a squad, which we call the #studioTIUsquad. We chat outside of the app now during the day as well. We talk about what we make for each meal, when we get the Daily Moves in, how to keep moving while our kids are tugging at our ankles, etc. My motivation to get out of bed before 6AM to workout now is to connect with my new friends. Show up. Motivate. Share. Inspire. Sweat. I’m now part of a community I never imagined being part of. The Tone It Up Tribe. It’s one of a kind.

Love the app, but there’s some changes that need to be made. It would be wonderful to have the option to change week #s for the program. For example, I needed to switch from a higher intensity program to TIU Pregnancy around 20 weeks pregnant. Simple enough to change, BUT it started me on week 1 instead of week 16 or so, which is where I should be. This program is designed for someone who opted to do the pregnancy program from the beginning. It’s frustrating because I have to scroll to the proper week (and remember which week I should be on) every single day to get to my workouts. I’d really like to be able to manually override which week of a program I’m in, regardless if it’s TIU pregnancy or not. I’ve had the same thing happen when I changed programs, decided it wasn’t my jam, and went back to my original one. If SWEAT can do this, why can’t TIU?! Community board?! Why can’t I access one on the app? I’m not a huge fan in the sense that the only way I really get community support is through the Facebook group or following others through IG. I’d like the option to talk to the community through the app. Other than those two things, I do love this app & TIU. The workouts are a great for days when I’m short on time. They are quite efficient even though they’re shorter in length compared to the workouts I’m used to.

My review really is 4.5 if that was an option. I absolutely love Tone It Up, I have been following them for years and can’t say enough good things about the community of women supporting each other that K&K have built. I also LOVE the new app update. I know more tweaks are to come in the future as they figure things out but so far, I’m so happy! I have been doing the Beach Babe Program for 2 weeks now after being stuck in a workout rut for months. My only (and I mean only because I really love this app) issue is that I am completing workouts in the Beach Babe Program and the app is not saying I’ve “completed” the videos. They’re all listed in my activity but on the program page it looks like I haven’t completed about 4-5 workouts that I have done. Kind of bummed because when I finish the 4 weeks, I want it to actually look like I finished the program. I’ll know that I did it of course but I’m guessing this is just a bug in the new update? Would love for it to be fixed! Love love you TIU!!

This app has been a lifesaver!. I always thought of myself as someone who needed to be IN the studio in order to get a workout. I felt as though I needed the accountability and the energy that came with group fitness classes. With that no longer being an option, I tried to do my own workouts for the first week and really struggled to find the motivation. I decided to try to studio tone it up app after following them on Instagram for years. This app has been a game changer and makes it so easy to browse and find something that fits my needs each day. I have been doubling up the workouts and squeezing them in to different parts of my day as I have the time. I feel very grateful for this app and the free trial for allowing me to move my body each day in a way that I can feel proud of afterwards. Thank you for the free trial and for the tone it up community for providing the accountability piece I was needing.

Overall a great app, has room for improvement!. I like the on demand options for workouts and that you can choose from different categories like (abs, booty, arms, yoga, stretching, HIIT, etc). It allows you to quickly find a workout video that your into for that day! I love the app overall!! However, I do wish you could pause the class if needed (sometimes the instructors move way too fast and I’m still finishing a set). I’ve done other programs where they have better timing during and between sets. It would be nice to consider that there are people using the app at all stages beginner-advanced. Also, it’s important to really feel each move and work the muscles properly, sometimes it feels that the pace is always so fast and doesn’t focus on quality form. I’ve taken another program that really did this well and I think TIU has some room to grow in that department! Just offering some constructive feedback and hopefully the team will take it into consideration :) thanks for creating and continuing to improve this app for the TIU community!

Honestly, tone it up is a sellout company.. This app is a joke and another way for tone it up to get more money. These girls used to be so down to earth and put so much work into the content they produced. If you watch older TIU videos, you’ll understand. However, over the course of the last two years they’ve become a greedy sellout company. If you follow either of the owners on IG you’ll see them living a life of luxury more than putting into their company. Now, I do agree that they have absolutely every right to be proud of themselves and indulge, but this company has become something so different from what it once was. There’s been no evolving and growing. It’s been a downhill turn for them and it’s pretty obvious with the content they create. Most of the videos on this app are half assed and it’s mostly just a bunch of “in shape” girls standing around laughing and maybe doing a workout. Everything is so unprofessional. I honestly don’t know how karena and Katrina stand behind such a pathetic excuse for a brand anymore. But hey as long as it makes you money right? Save your money. Go on Pinterest and look up tone it up workouts.

Love the new version but it still has issues. I love the new version of the app, especially the filtering option. I do miss the weekly schedule! Bring it back!!! Before I started a program, I missed having that guidance each week and I know once I’m finished with my current program, I’m going to want a break from programs and want a weekly schedule to follow. There’s a sample one in the app but it’s the same workouts each week. I want to be told which workouts to do that vary by week. I am finding some bugs. When you go to On Demand workouts, the names of each category is not showing up. When I first downloaded the app, it would check off my workouts after I completed them. Now it doesn’t. It shows that I haven’t even done them. I also don’t like how once I complete a week in a program, it doesn’t move to the next week. Each time I open the app and go to my program it goes to week 1 even though I’m on week 2 (technically 3 but it won’t check off my workouts). I wish there was a way to manually check off each workout and I wish it would move to the next week after I complete a week. Other than those issues, I’m loving it!

My new found exercise love! ❤️. If you want to actually look forward to a workout, you’ve found the right app to download. It used to be impossible for me to get motivated enough to get out of bed first thing to workout in the morning’s...that is until I discovered Studio Tone It Up! I actually WANT to get out bed quick enough to join other girls in this community for an AM workout. Karena and Katrina take every ounce of guess work out of it for you and lay out a guide of what workouts to do each day so you never have to question which ones to complete. Not feeling their suggested workout though? No problem because they have given you an enormous selection of on demand workouts to pick from also! You will never regret a workout from this app and I can guarantee when you connect with other TIU girls during class, you’ll never want to give up these workouts on a daily basis. If this is only version 1 of this app, I can’t imagine how much more I’ll love the future advancements of Studio Tone It Up! Thank you K&K! 😘

Fantastic app!. I was not familiar with Tone it Up until I recently came across some pins on Pinterest that they had with prenatal exercises. That is how I discovered the website and the app. I have been using the prenatal program in the app for two weeks now and it has made life so much easier! Before TIU I would search online or Pinterest for pregnancy safe exercises. Having the TIU prenatal program has eliminated all of the searching I was doing. I love being able to open the app and see exactly what I should do for a workout on a particular day. I also love the complete approach that TIU takes to fitness such as the recipes in the app and all of the various types of programs to choose from including yoga and meditation. I’ve never seen a fitness app with such a variety of offerings. I look forward to using the postnatal program and then all of the others. I also can’t wait until I am able to try some of the live Instagram classes! Overall it’s been so different than any other fitness app I have used and I love the positive and encouraging community experience!

Good but not for beginners. Overall the app and programs are good. However, I’m very new to exercising and I struggled with a lot of the moves. I gave the app the full 7-day trial before making a decision to cancel the subscription and deleting the app. Being a beginner to exercise, I felt a lot of the exercise moves were difficult and I wasn’t getting the full benefit because I couldn’t do the moves properly. I also want to point out there were no modification demonstrations for the moves that are more difficult for people that are new to exercising or less flexible for some of these moves. If the videos had someone doing modified moves for me to do and get the full benefit to my potential then I likely would have continued my membership, but I felt there were a lot of moves that I was just sitting there watching or spent more time trying to get down the form and technique than I did actually doing the moves. Again, someone who isn’t new to exercise, I would definitely recommend this app to them but would tell someone new to exercise and just starting out to look for something else.

Day 3 on my 1 week trial. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate level and I really like the relaxed attitude of the the coaches - they don’t do a lot of rushing through, explain things pretty well - it’s pretty motivating I really like it so far. I really like it that I can cast it to my TV I’m thinking I’m probably going to do the year membership I’ll give it a few more days to decide. I’ll have to get some two and 5 pound weight dumbbells probably a set of tens and 7.5 - for right now I’m just using 1 lb and 2.5 lb wrist weights that I have but it seems to work, it’s too easy actually ,I also don’t want to rush into anything so I stick with it I never thought I would actually want to do something like this I like it that so far the program I am in is all on a beach in so you see the ocean behind it which is really really awesome I don’t and I already had some resistant bands so that’s cool

Motivating and Encouraging. I bought the app about a month ago and I have seen such an increase in my consistency to work out. About 10 mins before your class it sends you a push notification and then about 2 mins out. Having this has reminded me about my classes and has been like someone telling me to get up off the couch or off my computer and do something for me!! I love it. There are so many times you can schedule classes for which is amazing since I work as a pharmacist at a hospital (my hours are always all over the place) but this app lets me have a consistent workout each day!! Also the girls are amazing! After each class you can look at the chat and see how everyone is encouraging one another. I SERIOUSLY LOVE IT!! Oh and if you just want to do a quick workout different than the daily class, they have all of their on demand workouts too! So you can pick between hitt, booty, arms, etc! This is seriously my new favorite thing🙌🏼😝

Completed Workouts Not Marked As Completed. If you start a program too early, even just to bookmark it for later as your week winds down, it will assume you’re moving through that program. Then when you actually start the workouts, it will no longer mark them as complete as you do them because you’re out of sync with the cycle. This means keeping track of the workouts in your head or in a planner, or going back to your profile and activity log to see what you’ve done...rather than having your progress appropriately tracked in the workout program. You also don’t get the gratification of seeing a workout marked as complete when you’re done. And at the top of the page, it only says you’ve completed a fraction of the workouts. It’s a frustrating to see the app not tracking your success. Also, since I’m already out of sync, the next four weeks will be like this. I don’t want to restart the program and mess it up further. Customer Service tried to help but they just said that “you’re in week two” and I had no idea what that meant until I went back and read a response to a similar review here from November. I love TIU but really want them to fix this!

Tiu fan for a long time but workouts aren’t challenging. There is something to be said about how amazing this community is! So supportive and uplifting. I have been a member since 2013 but I don’t find the workouts as effective as OG tiu. I miss the old tiu days where they would tell you to do cardio on certain days, just telling me to do it 2-3x/week is not enough. I need the push of someone scheduling it for me like they used to! Then there is the struggle of the programming. The idea is nice but I wish they just did the weekly workout schedule like they used to, and everyone was automatically signed up to take these classes on specific days rather than always having to sign up for different plans. It really makes me lose momentum. Then I wish I could edit the workouts schedule as needed. I know this is encouraged but wish I could physically change the order if I want. Or even Delete one for a rest day and add a workout if I need more of a challenge. There should be a “build your own program” section if they won’t bring back the weekly schedule. I feel very limited with each program.

Great content, very poor execution. I love the videos, but the experience as a user is awful. PLEASE do something to help this app and the videos load faster. Let’s be real, the reason we’re using this app is to get a workout in, not see “who’s in class with you.” The amount of time it takes to load all the photos of the girls supposedly currently using the app is absurd and unnecessary. If my connection to the internet isn’t lightning fast when using the app, then it’s rendered useless. Videos won’t load. Sometimes the sound plays, but the visual will be completely white. I’m almost never able to take a scheduled class for this reason. I have to stick to on demand just so I can restart the video when it doesn’t load properly. I’m also never able to mirror or cast it to my Apple TV, which is incredibly frustrating. Lots of bugs there that need major work. Did anyone even test this feature in QA? I’ve been paying for this app for awhile and have considered the yearly subscription because I do love the videos, but honestly, this app is not worth the price. The content is, but the design and execution is not. Please tell your devs to work on this. Or hire new developers that understand how to fix it. I would happily continue paying for this app if it wasn’t so frustrating to use.

Karena and Katrina. There is something about you two together that really INSPIRE me to workout. You have such a great loving infectious connection. However, I can’t, at all, get inspired by the other trainers. I get it, you need note trainers to have a successful studio. For those who have been following, like me, for 9 years, I would love few things: a bikini program that just features karena and Katrina; a detailed description of what part of the body each exercise works; a tutorial on proper workout stances; and an educational video on how you choose which workouts to do on each day (booty days, arms days, etc) and how you decide reps and sets and how you know how many rest days should be in between workout sessions for specific muscles. I am very interested about what is happening to my body and would love to learn more. Also, how would you guide someone, for example, who wants to build a booty without building bulk on legs? As my trainers, I would like to see a feature where we can ask workout related questions. Thank you!

BEST fitness, mind + body APP. I have been a #TIUGirl for 6+ years now. It’s been a lifesaver. I love Karena + Katrina so much. I sometimes find myself drifting away from the community due to my own life becoming *busy, yet, when I feel that overwhelm coming on, I’m reminded of this beautiful community, and I return. I have lost 30+ pounds due to the nutrition plan + #TIUBootyCall workouts. I have made some amazing friends via the app, and can attest to the love felt even from the founders. As a Black Womxn, I have struggled with feeling included in my local fitness community, yet, I have always felt included at Tone It Up. Karena + Katrina are leading the way in Fitness inclusivity, and I’m proud to stay along for the ride. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be teaching classes on the app, too. *busy, as Marie Forleo states is lacking time- management. When I start my day with The Tone it Up app, I am more able to stay focused, and increase my daily productivity.

Awesome! Not a single problem. Hi I’m just one of HonestGurl2008’s triplet sisters and we use the same account for stuff like this. I was never overweight but I have never been the healthiest eater. This app has helped me, Lena, my sister Maya, ( aka HonestGurl2008) and Ava. As the oldest of us I am the leader and I need to be showing them and our 4 younger sisters to be healthy and this app really helped me eat better and not crave junk food all of the time. I do my workouts now with Maya,Terra,and Kayla every day and once a week make a new healthy snack with Ava, Christina and Anastasia. We have all started being happier and even my parents have been getting in and helping out. A year ago I if you would have asked me how our family was, I would have said that I was a junk food addict, one of my triplet sisters was overweight and one was always low on energy, and that my four younger sisters all had anger, anxiety, and depression disabilities. But the food and workouts have helped us all be happier, calmer, have more energy, and healthier. You guys really are an answered prayer for all of the people who need you help.

New app needs improvement; now is like other fitness apps out there. I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but after experiencing the same issues many others are describing I felt compelled to do so. I will start off by saying I am a long time TIU member. I like the new look and layout of the app. However, I don’t like how I now feel isolated in my daily workouts and don’t have group support I previously did. It is also frustrating that some of the workouts I have completed don’t get marked with a “check.” I completed all 7 workouts on week 1 of the schedule, yet my app says 5/7 workouts completed. This is disheartening and discouraging. And to the person who responds to these reviews - yes, I understand how the new app and programs work and are populated. I don’t I need a generalized comment back explaining it like so many other reviews have gotten, even though it’s unrelated to the primary complaint. Those type of replies make me feel like the TIU members don’t matter and concerns aren’t being taken seriously. I want to continue subscription to TIU, but feel like it no longer has that special quality and sisterhood like it used to. I’m seriously considering not renewing my membership once it expires.

Great app— few errors. I love the app and the programs you guys offer! Only gripe is that when I complete a workout for the program I selected (14 day slay) it does not mark the workouts complete and shows I have completed 0/10 workouts for week 2.. no matter how many times I do a workout... still shows nothing completed. Luckily the app update fixed the bug of the app logging me out everyday.. that got old very fast! Second gripe is that prior to the new update I did my workouts on my iPad because it’s a bigger screen and I could turn my iPad horizontally so that the video would be on the entire screen... now when I attempt to do workouts on my iPad..Turning my the IPad horizontally when a video starts results in the app flipping the image right back to the small vertical view even when my iPad is sitting horizontally. Very frustrating that the new app update doesn’t allow the iPad to be compatible while trying to play a video when it is horizontal— hope this can be fixed to work again??

Love TUI!!. This community/app has been the first place I have been able to be consistent with working out. I have to be at work at 7am and there until 6 or 7pm usually. Most traditional gyms don’t have classes early enough or late enough for me to be able to be consistent. Through this app I’m able to get my work out in when it’s best for me and these work outs are some of the best workouts I’ve ever had. Man will you sweat. And how can you beat the price! Only small glitches in the app. I think the checks for the number of my weekly workouts must go off a 24 hour clock from the last workout or something. So if I workout at night then the next morning I won’t get a check. Which isn’t a big deal but just nice to see that checkmark some days haha. Also I think it would be awesome to have the nutrition plan linked in the app one day as well. Just an idea. Love what you have created! Thank you!

WORTH 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼. Ok full disclosure, this is the first app rating I’ve ever given, mostly because I’ve waited far too long to give kudos to TIU and how it changed my life. Probably overkill with the cheesiness, but I swear to you I RELY on their workouts. I’ve done a ton of their programs and credit them to helping me gain strength, better posture and better recipe ideas. I do barre and run regularly and so the best thing about this app is having so many varieties and options of workouts to choose from when I need something else. I never used to do yoga and now I love it. I also never did weight training, especially at home, and I’ve never felt stronger in my life. I also credit TIU to helping me drop 20 lbs before my wedding 👏🏼 All the programs, workouts and even recipes are amazing. Stef is the only instructor I avoid and only because her content is cringe and clunky and “just shake it out shake it out” said over and over again is annoying. I actually have tried to many times to restart one of her workouts and I have to choose anyone else, she just doesn’t suit their brand and lacks confidence as an instructor. Everyone else is great though, Kat is obviously a fan fave and I could replay her workouts over and over again without getting sick of it. I’m on round 2 of the 6:40 program (literally finished and restarted it all over again) because I loved it so much. Thank you to the TIU community and for helping me! You won’t regret spending the money for this app ♥️♥️♥️

Love TIU. Love TIU. Great workouts that are quick and effective. I give it 4 stars for two reasons. One being that if my phone rings during the middle of a scheduled class that I’m in the process Of doing ... I get kicked out and the whole entire workout starts over ... from the beginning. Very very annoying. My second gripe is with the new updated app ... you can no longer schedule your weeks worth of workouts. That was very disappointing to me. As someone that struggles with motivation... setting my weekly classes and goals was HUGE. It kept me accountable. Now I’m in charge of finding my own workouts I wanna do daily lol. That is gonna be a struggle for me. I’m more of a “tell me what we’re doing today” kind of worker outer lol. Also, with the new app and whole “chose a program” feature ... the one I chose ... I needed gym equipment for. That was also a little frustrating since I no longer have my gym membership and don’t own a “leg extension machine” 😂. I’m feeling torn on continuing with my membership. TIU has definitely helped to get back in shape and I really love the work outs ... just some of my favorite features have disappeared/changed. Update: Still feeling bummed I cannot track how many times a week I’m working out. Unless you do a “program” there is no way to track your weekly workouts. My days/weeks tend to blur together and since I now mostly just do videos out of the “on demand section” I tend to have no idea by Mid week how many days I’ve done.

Something for Everyone !. I’ve been a TIU babe for over 3 years now and they’ve supported me through my journey of getting back into shape after I completely burnt out in work and life! I felt confident for my wedding after joining one of the summer challenges back in 2017 and then kept improving with my fitness and nutrition from there. I was a competitive athlete for over half my life and was worried the workouts wouldn’t be challenging enough, originally. Hah! Silly me! There are SO many options and opportunities to push yourself and really see massive change in your body from the combo of the workouts and nutrition plan. There are also tons of options that are feel good workouts and there’s never any pressure to do anything more than what you feel is best for your body in that moment. Now at 34 weeks pregnant I’ve been doing the prenatal approved workouts and the new express ones which are great for my mind and body! I also LOVE the meditations. :) Thanks Tone It Up, y’all got me back into my body and mind in the best of ways over the years and the best is yet to come! Xox

Great, but a few wishes.... I really enjoy using this app because of the variety of workouts that are offered. The videos and app are so well done. When signing up I originally thought videos were posted every week or month, but that isn’t the case. They drop a program and videos are released, but that could be months apart. So, if you’re thinking what I thought at the beginning, know video drops are spaced out. However with that in mind, there is a lot of content within the app to be used and the videos are really well done. With that being said that I love the app and will continue to use it, I have a couple of wishes: Under the Daily Toning moves, sometimes instead of # of reps, it will say # of seconds, and I wish there was a timer built in there - that would be really convenient. Also, Tone It Up does Live workouts on Instagram. I don’t use Instagram often, so it would be nice, especially since I’m paying for the app, for these workouts to be added to the app or every and now then a Live workout within the app (again because of paying for the app). I hope these suggestions reach someone to pass them on and Tone It Up is a great app overall.

Great app and concept, no doubt it will improve. TIU has a great app. It is in the early phases and I have no doubt it will continue to improve. I use it at least 5 days per week. I love that you can see what to access on demand for the daily workouts, as sometimes I cannot do a class time and need to start earlier/later. I am about to search them and workout. I have trouble with things loading and being able to stay in workouts (maybe once per week). However, this trouble may be due to the time I’m using it, as I live abroad. I’m also rarely able to scroll through all rounds of the daily moves, it usually stops scrolling in round 2 (this happens over half the time). I simply go back to round one and scroll through again, but then it doesn’t show the completed workout for the week in the app. I get my workout in, so it’s fine for me. I would love to be able to search for workouts based on equipment. For example, ability to search body weight only for when I’m traveling or to have a traveling workout section. Overall, the developers, innovators and dreamers are doing a fantastic job! Keep it up!

I’m am really enjoying this app and look forward to discovering workouts I can do and I never feel alone when working out with the trainers in the app. Everyone is so amazing in their encouragement and knowledge of how our bodies work. I tell everyone about this app because it goes with you anywhere and you have countless options that you can’t have an excuse to not workout. There’s now an Express section where workouts are 10 minutes or less for when you don’t have much time. I didn’t believe it would do much but boy do they pack a punch and make you feel so good! As a mother of 5 young children, going to the gym became harder and harder that I ended up paying for years without using it. But with Studio tone it up, it’s right at my fingertips and all the nutrition, expert tips, and honestly, it’s personal training you get from every trainer on here, that it’s beyond worth it!!! Love Studio Tone It Up and the community! I’m gonna be a TIUGirl for life!!! 🥰

Great Content but Needs a Few Tweaks. I’ve been a TIU member since 2014 and have always enjoyed the workouts, community, and positivity that Katrina and Karena have created. This app has so much of the good stuff about TIU. The classes are ON POINT. I’m coming back after my third pregnancy and am looking to rebuild some muscle. The classes have me sweating and I can feel where I worked my muscles the next day! I love that. My main gripe, and the reason I cancelled my one-year subscription is because the TIU Studio classes are only available on your phone. If there was a way to connect to Apple TV or even my laptop I would definitely continue this subscription. But having to workout at home while squinting at my phone screen got old really fast. I hope this is something that will be fixed, as I’ve seen other similar complaints. Also I agree with other reviewers that the daily “featured class” should definitely be the same as what is being shown in the studio. It frustrated me to have to search for the specific daily class in the on demand section but still not get the correct class. When these are corrected I will definitely be back on board with this app, but until then its just not functional enough as an app. Great concept, great classes, but needs work on the logistics side of things.

Going to the studio from home is a dream! 🌈 My studio goes with me wherever I go! I don’t have to go to a barre class and pay $100+ for a membership! I can take a barre class through Studio Tone It Up and pay the amazing price of $6.99 per month for a year! 🤩 Trouble meeting up with your girlfriends to workout? Here you can find regulars doing a studio Tone It Up class on the hour! I’m meeting girls from all over and learning all kinds of things about them, this connection would not have been made without Studio Tone It Up! So thank you TIUTeam! There is some technical issues but I think it will all get workout out! 👍🏻 My technical issues have been when the class starts it starts a few seconds into the workout. The first time going live had kinks in it too. I kept getting booted off and when I try to chat with girls after class I get booted off several times before I can chat. That is all!

Get this App, Improve Your Life. I cannot say enough positive things about this app. The workouts are all very effective. I start sweating ten minutes in. What I really love too is that they are not super long. I don’t do well with 50 minute workouts. With TIU I can choose to do one 15 minute that focuses on arms then do another for my booty. There are also so many types to choose from. They are constantly adding improvements. The owners are so genuine and real about empowering and building women up through the TIU community. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that my age group of women are not represented in their community. I am 52 and would love to see someone in my age group leading a workout. There are several amazing and fit women in that age group. It’d be nice to see someone like me representing the over 50s. There is a huge over 50 TIU community. Don’t get me wrong though, the trainers they have are all amazing, albeit 28 y/o 😉. But I highly recommend the app. It’s also very affordable and easy to use. I’m so happy I found this app. I love the community and the workouts always make me feel so good. Keep up the good work TIU!!

Love this app - when it works well. Girls, I gotta say - I love TIU and this app. The reason for my 2 star review: this app is constantly buggy. It has kicked me out of programs that I have signed up for (and made progress against) a few times. When I go back and re-signup, all of my progress towards the program is lost. 🤪 The casting feature is out of sync when sending the app to my tv. If I pause it to grab a water and come back to resume, the phone and tv fall out of sync and I scramble to adjust the volume settings or silence my phone. Also, sometimes weird quirky things happen in the app. For example, Workout photos don’t align (I can send a screenshot if that helps), but half the image is off screen and the other half is not. Also, I have to manually fast forward the video to trigger a completion when finishing a workout when casting. These things are small, but interfere with the actual exercises and workouts! It took me a while to get used to the updated version. But I have noticed that this update is not a stable software version. Need to revisit the quality here.

Love TIU! The new app is OK. I love TIU, love the girls love the program and the workouts are killer. You’re never bored and they have so many varieties of workouts and recipes to choose from. Plus all the people in this TIU community are awesome I’m always finding new recipes and tips from them on Instagram. I did not give the app 5 stars bc I have some complaints about the new updated app. I like the overall look but 1. I don’t like how they took away the live workouts, I work 2 jobs and I’m not a personal trainer so I don’t know what kinds of workouts I should be doing in 1 week. I liked how the class schedule gave you variety of class each day where as now I have to sit there and scroll through a million workouts to GUESS which one I should do. Plus being able to sign up for classes kept you accountable, there’s just more steps into choosing a class and it makes you want to not do it. I wish they had that or the daily workout schedule online/on app so I can see what I should be doing each week to work my whole body. 2. I also don’t like how you can’t add in if you did a workout outside of the app. I’m a pure barre teacher so I take a lot of classes and I used to keep track of my TIU and barre workouts within the app which I can’t do anymore. Please bring the live workouts back or bring the daily workout schedule back to make it easier on us busy people!

Absolutely Love, but.... Update: bug is fixed. I’m in LOVE!!!! I seriously can’t say how much I love this update. I understand there are mixed views on it, but it totally works for me. So it’s important to note: like and do what is best for you! With the old version, I had a hard time staying committed to the class schedules. But with this program-style, I can take my workouts to the gym during the early mornings. And I love having the access to recipes that were available on the TIU website and Nutrition Plan (note for users: the recipes on the app were on the website as sneak peaks into the plan. Not all recipes from the plan are on the app.) The reason for the 3 stars is that all of a sudden my app began crashing as soon as I tried opening it while at the gym. It’s because I’m not connected to WiFi. And wherever I’m working out (unless very occasionally at home) I don’t have access to WiFi. So that really puts a damper on me trying to complete the program or use the app at all. It’s almost a waste of my subscription. Now this wasn’t happening as soon as I downloaded it. I used the app twice at my gyms when I first downloaded it, and that’s why I fell in love with the update. So I reached out to customer service, and they are working on the bug, but it’s taking a little longer than it should be... so if and when this issue is resolved, I’ll change my star-rating. But for now, it’s subpar.

Love this app!. So I absolutely love this app! It is so convenient and I use it almost daily for my workouts. I’ve been a TIU member for quite some time now and I’m at the point where I don’t even pay for a gym membership anymore because there’s so much variety in the app. That being said there are a few minor things that would seriously take this app to the next level for TIU lovers 1. If there was the ability to “favorite” workouts, this way you could quickly find workouts that you love and want to do all of the time. I find sometimes it’s hard to locate some in the demand search and other workouts aren’t even listed in the categories. This would be an amazing feature. 2. I’ve had serious trouble using the app on WiFi since March. I’ve messaged support and that was a dead end. I have to use it everyday using my data plan which is a disappointment. I’ve tried multiple different WiFi networks and it’s always the same result, the videos glitch within a few seconds in. 3. Since we use the same log in as the TIU website it would be awesome if we could access the workout plans we’ve purchased directly from the app. I know this ones a long shot but I’ve purchased BB4, BB5 and Body Love and it while a few of the workouts have been loaded to the app, I’d love to have access to my purchases right from the app.

True Love for TIU. I was on the fence near the beginning of this launch, however, my reservations were quickly replaced with appreciation and love of the convenience to take my workouts anywhere. I’ve worked out using the app on vacation, on business trips, at my parents house before dinner...you name it I’ve done it! The only feature I’d like, and this is not a complaint, is a “workout now” feature with the studio workout of the day. Classes running every half hour now is fantastic. But there are times it is 12:23pm and I’m ready to rock n roll! I know you can search on demand (which is the best when I’m feeling a different workout for the day) but this often requires me to find a couple different videos to make up that days recommended workout. That being said, Studio Tone It Up is great. It’s unlike any other workout app. You can rewind, fast forwarded and complete the workouts at your own pace without having to “beat the clock” like many other options out there. Plus the ability to pay a full year at a discounted rate is the cherry on top of an already great workout option ❤️

Doesn’t mark workout as done. The updated app no longer marks workouts as done after I complete them, so even though I’ve done most of the workouts in the program I signed up for, it will never mark my program as completed because it’s not marking my workouts as done-frustrating! Also, what if I don’t want to join one of the limited programs to choose from?! None of them work exactly right for my desire, I wish they would just have a “normal” workout routine like the old app. Open the app and click play, that is why I paid for this app two years in a row. Now IIII have to choose a program, and IIII have to choose my workout. I want to be able to just open the app and click play. Furthermore, I can no longer mirror my phone to my tv and have the video take up the whole screen, it is always vertical, and I want to see my workout horizontal so it's big on the tv. Maybe with chrome cast you can make it take up the whole screen but I don’t have that. I am pretty disappointed with the changes, I’m not sure I will renew unless they make it more user friendly. Either more program plans or a regular TIU plan like before, I don’t see why they can’t add in a regular program. Fix the glitch where workouts aren’t marked as done. Let us put the video horizontal so it takes up the whole screen.

TIU Rocks. Absolutely love this app and love the community among women it promotes even more! It is such a positive and uplifting place to be. I think the app is wonderful as is, but a few things I wish they could add would be: 1. A way to mark your favorite workouts. A folder of some sort that you could open and quickly pick on of your top workouts to do. 2. I sometimes do I cardio workout in the am and a weight workout in the afternoon. I would love to be able to count both of those workouts on my goals for the week even though they were both in the same day. 3. It would be cool if your workout from an on demand video was logged automatically when complete like it does for you in the scheduled classes. Those are all just minor things I think about. I would 110% recommend this app for everyone and for people in every stage of their fitness journey! Thanks K&K for creating such an amazing thing! 😊💜

Great app. Hi I’ve only just joined and taken out the yearly subscription. I find the workouts, programs and meals great. The only thing that irritates me a little is if I do a program for example today (Monday) it will register it as Monday but on my calendar mark it off the day before on the Sunday. Is there any way to fix this as I have been having to mark it off again the day after I’ve done the program so the days line up properly. I just like all things organised and in order 😊 Thank you

Love it!. I have been following Karena and Katrina for a few years now and can always rely on them and their team to bring the goods. The workouts are fun and cater for beginner to advanced. It’s the total package at a fabulous price. I have recommended to many friends.

Prenatal workout series. First months of pregnancy are overwhelming!! And one of the areas that made me feel slightly anxious was finding the right workouts. Apps that I tried, offered either just one type of workout or were quite pricy; and I was ready to spend the money but then I came across this app! Prenatal workout series are amazing and I love the fact that they are done by a pregnant coach. I love the variety of exercises and the coach herself!

Love it but can be better! ♥️. I love using this app for my daily moves and have recently bought the year subscription which has taken my workouts to the next level! But I wanted to suggest 2 things that could make the app more user friendly. The first being during the workouts when transitioning between floor and standing exercises or moves that require adjusting the videos are edited in a way that when your at home you are not even in position yet before the reps have already been going so you either have to pause to get all the reps in or just hurry at an impossible speed to catch up. The second suggestion is that I recently changed my Instagram handle but my old Instagram handle still shows on the app even when I disconnected my socials on the app and reconnected them. If I wanted people in the studio chat to be able to connect with me on Insta, they wouldn’t know where to find me now because my Insta handle is now wrong/old.

Disappointed. Tone it up girls always had great workouts affordable for everyone, with many free workouts. Since the very beginning I was a huge fan on their YouTube, bought multiple DVDs etc, and never in a million years should I've known that I'd be leaving a negative review for them!! but This app.......is a massive turn off... it's around A$20/month subscription which is VERY expensive for an iPhone app, No free videos whatsoever. I used to follow all of their summer and bikini series. Now it's just impossible to follow without spending a fortune on this app! Their YouTube channel has turned into a 'talk' channel with very very limited free workouts. Their greed for money has killed it for me. + app functionality just doesn't worth the money. I'd rather pay for selected workouts than a stupid expensive subscription.

Like it but with tweaks would love it. There are two things that would really improve this app for me. 1. Offer a way to Wishlist or save a workout on demand. I often scroll through the exercises and think “ooh that would be good for tmw or later in the week” and so an option to save it for later would be super helpful 2. I use the on demand workouts the most but it seems whenever I’ve completed the workouts, it doesn’t count towards my weekly goals. This may just be a bug but seeing the workout I’ve just done resulting in a nice big tick under my weekly goals section would just be so satisfying. Other than that I am loving this app. I especially love being able to curate my weekly workout from the on demand section. Eliminates excuses. So many workouts of varying length and equipment requirements. So good for doing at home in the lounge room. I mirror my phone to the Apple TV mostly. My only suggestion would be that the log a workout tool needs the option to log one of the on demand workouts. Or if it automatically logged the workout when you finish the on demand workout video..

Amazing App!. I love this app it’s like being at a gym but in the privacy of my home! The workouts are great and varied in style to fit all exercise needs! However I wish it had a feature where you could prebook an On Demand Workout for the next day! I have limited time in the morning so I always know which workout I’m doing but need to write it down and find it in the morning! Other than that highly recommended!!!!!

Subscription based pricing. If you’re looking for an app that you’re not constantly paying monthly fees for this is not it. There are other apps out there that do exactly the same and offer the same features without the ongoing cost. However if you don’t mind the monthly cost it’s not too bad but there are cheaper options out there.

Best workout app around!. Love this app and love these girls! I can relate to them and I have been following them for years. I am loving the ease of the new app. Worth it if you want to keep track of how active you are and be part of a great community.

Almost perfect!. I love everything about this app! As others have mentioned, the ability to add on demand workouts to your weekly schedule and/ or add them to a wishlist would be amazing. Wish I could link to my Spotify. The workouts are good but the music is really dull - would be great to be able to add in my own music. Also since the update the app has been really glitchy which means I can’t access the workouts half the time.

My got to favorite workout app!. I’ve been a follower of TIU since the beginning so when the app came out I didn’t hesitate to subscribe. Thought out the years it’s been my favorite go to app for fun workouts that provide just what I need - whether is a stretch, a gentle yoga or sweat dripping cardio. The trainer make is so much fun and never boring or repetitive.

full screen feature impacting casting. Hi there, love this app but now I see next to the ‘cast’ option the ‘full screen’ option has been moved. For some reason now when I cast, it wants to play through the phone and the TV, out of sync, and when I finish the workout the app doesn’t register this has happened so I have to manually track my workouts.

Minor tweaks needed but overall a great app. Love the app but with some minor tweaks, it could be made better. For instance: 1. the ability to change program start and end dates. 2. to pause programs for rest days. 3. to curate your own weekly schedule, including meal planning. Hopefully in a future update, some of these could be considered.

Won’t open!!. Whenever I click on the app to try to do anything, it loads, then closes! I can’t log in - I can’t do anything. I get all the notification which is awesome. Too bad I can’t see what they’re for.

The best fitness app!. I’ve been following Tone It Up since a few years now, even before they had an app, and I’ve never found better trainers than K&K. The joy, the passion and the heart that these 2 girls have is just amazing and truly inspiring. So when they created their app, I knew it would be a success. Even if you don’t want to lose weight, but simply want to feel great and in shape, Tone It Up is the app for you. Also, there are so many great workouts in the app. From yoga, HIIT, barre, kickboxing to meditation and much more, everyone can find their match here! TIU. I love this app, the ladies who pour their hearts into developing it and all the classes they teach, as well as the TIU community! The app just keeps getting better and better; whether you’re enrolled in a program, choosing a class based on what you’re feeling or what your body is craving, and the nutritional information it also contains. The only feature I miss from historic versions is being able to manually enter an activity completed outside the app (i.e. a run, fitness class, hike, etc.) as I really like to use the app to help me track my activity and stay accountable.

My ONLY workout app. Everything from cardio, to strength building, Pilates and yoga. I love TIU and the energy the trainers bring to me day. I love waking up with TIU, there’s no way I could have made it through quarantine without this app!

My first successful home workout. This was so easy to do (minus the burn you feel)! I was able to do all of the workouts, it was easy to follow and the music was great to go along to. I’m a new momma, 5 months postpartum and let me tell ya, I’m excited to follow through! Plus it’s free to tryout for a month! I’m glad because I wouldn’t know how awesome the app it.

Please Add Personal music override. Workouts are consistent, and you can easily tie multiple together for a full hour workout. You probably won’t be able to get away with just 1 per day if you really want to see results. Wish I could play my own music with their voices layered over, the built in music is pretty lame. Love the nutrition part - probably the best part from my perspective as a pre-app TIU user.

Great app for pre and pastnatal workouts. I started using this app when I was 6 months pregnant and all the way up to one week before giving birth. Now I started pastnatal work out program and it's so good. Gives you time to adjust and feel better! Love it! Thank you, Katrina!

Super buggy and slow. Was excited to use this app but it’s so slow. Workouts won’t load for me. Tried deleting and reinstalling and it’s still bad.

Not inclusive. After all these years I’ve messaged TIU even 5 years ago to get them to add captioning or subtitles to their videos and still nothing. I just get the chirpy “we are working on it girl!” I am appalled when you consider that Peloton, Apple Fitness, FitOn, and numerous other popular instructors like Sydney Cummings etc and they ALL provide Subtitles to their videos! I’ve been a member of TIU since 2017 and have brought this issue up repeatedly from a D/HH perspective and it’s been ignored/unacknowledged. I’ve emailed countless of times. Quite frankly......it’s unacceptable in today’s world of technology and the amount of d/hh people that people are unaware of as it’s easily recognized as one of the most hidden disabilities there is.

The only workouts I love!. I have been following Tone it Up since 2007. I have tried other brands and workouts. But this community knocks them out of the park! My favourite.

Casting doesn’t work with version 2.2.0. Ever since upgrading to the latest version, I haven’t been able to cast to my chrome cast.

Ab-mazing!. I love this app. Constant support and motivation and it’s not just limited to one type of workout, various workouts and also nutrition plans and recipes! I’m always sore after a workout. No other app compares.

The Best Fitness App!!. I’ve been a TIU girl since 2016 and was sooo excited they came out with this app! Total Game Changer!. First of all, shoutout to Tone It Up for creating an outlet to connect with, inspire, and encourage girls from all over the world...right from my living room!🎉 I’ve been a TIU girl for 2 years now and to be honest I was hesitant to the app when it first came out because I was successful with their old way of doing things...but like K&K always say, change is necessary in order to grow! 6 months later using the app and I can’t even remember what it was like before Studio Tone It Up😍 I look forward to seeing the classes on the week’s schedule and making it work for me. Some days I attend the 6am classes, other times I squeeze in a workout in the evenings. It’s so flexible and great for someone like me who loves being told what to work out each day! Why is the daily workout gone?. I'm confused over this update. Having the nutrition incorporated is GREAT! And to finally being able to favorite workouts? Awesome! But was removing the daily workout needed in order to incorporate those changes? I don't understand that. K&K have always been all about "don't have an accountability parter? Don't worry! We will be your partners!" And now the accountability has been taken out of the app... Users are left to figure out what workout to do for the day, and that was what the app used to do for us! It was all about helping us get into it, together! TIU has always been about community, and now the community is gone. I'm not really about posting #tiu and all that on my personal Instagram, so I used to LOVE the app for that stuff. I've worked out once since the update, since I feel lost trying to figure it out for myself. I don't feel the "push" anymore. I don't know, maybe the chat function wasn't all that popular and that's why it was decided to remove it? Ok, but why remove the daily workout? Can't we just at least get that back? Seems like us TIU ladies that have been following these women for a few years are left very confused about this update. I'm all about moving forward, but is remove needed in order to improve?

Better than a gym membership!. Love this app! I’ve been a part of the #TIUteam for a long time and at first I was skeptical about the app, but I LOVE IT. The fact that you can workout with girls all over the world at the same time is totally incredible and cool, but recently I’ve also been loving the on demand section even more. As a new #TIUmama it’s been so perfect to allow me to get in whatever workout I have time for, long or short, whenever I can. I also love that I can hit pause if I need to tend to the babe. The variety of classes makes working out fun and they keep me motivated no matter the mood! I also LOVED the prenatal classes when I was pregnant, they definitely helped to keep me active. Overall, I think it’s a great app and it motivates me to do something almost every day! 💖

Never looking back!!. I LOVE TIU — the protein, the snack bars... the recipes.. the workouts.. the community... ALL OF IT!! You girls saved me back in 2017 when I was on an unhealthy eating path. My body transformed once I started the program and STUCK WITH IT!! Sadly... last year I got back into those bad habits again. I’ve had a hard time looking myself in the mirror lately (or even in pictures) and KNOW that this time I’m going to stick with it for the long haul! I can’t wait to share my #tiutransformation story with you when I’m happy with my results!! I’m starting with the 21-day challenge, then rolling right into the 28-day #fitfiercefab program.... and then possibly the #balancedandbeautiful program. Best work out app!. I haven’t worked out in a decade and felt intimated by going to a gym. I thought about getting a trainer but then quarantine hit. I work 40 plus hours a week and also needed something that would fit my schedule and I felt like I also needed a structured plan to guide me. That’s what I like most about the app!! You can sign up for a program within the app and everyday it tells you what workout to do, which is my absolute favorite part! Plus I just recently purchased their protein and it’s amazing and at Target! I love the community of the TIU team and the trainers and love that each of they specialize in something different from yoga to kickboxing to dance! This app I highly recommended, it has been a blessing and a complete lifestyle change for me!

Love this app so much!. Tried the free trial and love it so much I did the annual plan. It has everything, so I cancelled my yoga subscription through another app and enjoy what TIU has on offer. I love that I can split up the workouts too—I’ll do 15 of cardio or 26 of yoga to wake up, then a solid 29min workout later in the day. Doing at least one short workout a day has proven to be so much better than my former life of 45-60min 3-4x per week, when I’d be rendered too sore to work the next day. With Tone It Up, I’m never left so sore I can’t work out again the following day. I’m also LOVING the prenatal workouts, and it’s so reassuring to know I’m staying within bounds of what’s safe for me and baby. Super fun to hear the girls share their journeys which I can relate to (peeing every 5 min, first time having boobs, etc)! Thank you for creating this community!

Sessions too short and videos get stuck playing in background. It would be one thing if this were a web product, but for an installed app the sessions are unjustifiably short. I would say on average I have to log in every 2-3 days — a shorter session than for any other app I use except my password manager. Because I use a password manager, logging in is kind of a pain and I will usually miss the first part of the class. Makes me want to dump the app, it’s so frustrating. The content is great, but there’s also a super annoying bug where videos that have been completed will start playing in the background (I can hear the audio) the next time I open the app. This happens every single time I watch a video (iPad mini, latest iOS version), and there’s no way to make it stop reliably other than to restart my iPad. Might be rated to Chromecast use, but not sure since I always cast the videos.

Not loving the new updates. I really used to love the TIU app but recently, I feel disappointed by the changes. Like many other users, I used to value being able to sign up for a class at a specific time in advance (it gave me a built in sense of accountability and it really was the only thing keeping me working out in the early mornings-I am not a morning person but I am a teacher, so I need to be up early). Since TIU has removed this feature, I have not worked out since the update. It is simply not the same as signing up for a class that will be happening in real time with other women attending, even just virtually. For me, it is easier to cancel and sleep in when I know that no actual class is starting at 5:30 am, with or without me. I truly hope TIU adds this feature back, since I am now struggling to work out consistently in the mornings, and miss the sense of community that makes TIU so special.

Convenient and Practical. This app is for anyone who is on the go, doesn’t want to pay for a gym membership, or trying to stay fit on a budget - but really this app is for anyone! 5 starts for the convenience. All the workouts can be done at home, which is honestly the greatest thing. Also, they're a good amount of time, and if you’re in a time crunch they even have some workouts that are only 8 minutes! Seriously no excuses!! I love Tone It Up! My only problems are: sometimes the app crashes, or the sound keeps playing while I’m not in the video anymore. Also, please add 10 Min Abs With Kat to the On Demand workouts! That’s one of my favorites! These things just aren’t enough of a problem to knock my rating down. Tone It Up changed my life for the better and I’m so happy for the growth their business is experiencing!

best workout app!. Studio tiu is the best! I love the variety of workouts and the way we can schedule classes for the week. I have one suggestion, I would love to see on the app the ability to schedule the on demand workouts. I know that defeats the purpose of “on demand,” but really the only way I remember to workout is from the reminders I set when I schedule each class. Sometimes on Sunday I’m scheduling my classes, thinking of my personal life too and they don’t always mix well. Like, on a Wednesday if the daily class is a “Booty HIIT Blast” I’m not gonna have the energy to do that at any time throughout my busy wednesday, I’d rather do something like yoga or barre. I would just love to be able to schedule my own classes more according to my personal schedule, and be able to remember to do my fave workouts when I want (with the notif that I get when I schedule them)🥰

Awesome for travelers and spur of the moment workouts!. I’ll be honest, I love taking group fitness classes in actual gyms. I am a little lazy and tend to not push myself as hard at home so I thought the TIU app wasn’t necessary for my needs, UNTIL I realized how easy it was to work out anywhere at any time! This was great because sometimes I’m working from a hotel or maybe just in the middle of a project at home and I literally decide to workout 3 minutes before the class starts! The on demand workouts are also fabulous for when I decide that I can’t wait 15 minutes for a new class to start! This is honestly one of the most interactive, most fun workout options I have found over the years. It’s a cost effective way to supplement a stream of yoga studios, spinning classes, and gym time!

Love it!. I am a new mom of two under two. And because of this, I no longer could find time in my day to drive all the way to the gym to work out. Studio Tone It Up app is absolutely perfect! I love that I can stay home and get an amazing work out in while my babies nap. I also love how every day is something different. My workout routine at the gym was the same monotonous routine every day. But now I’m always mixing it up with HIIT, yoga, boxing, you name it! Highly recommend this app. Definitely worth the money! The one thing I wish, is that if I finish a work out in the “on demand” section, it never fills it in for me as me completing a workout for the day. I wish it would do it automatically, instead of me having to input it. However, that’s a tiny tiny issue and definitely doesn’t take away anything from the app. Still five stars, in my opinion!

Disappointed with new update. I will start by saying I love this app because I hated driving to the gym and I’m more likely to workout at home so this was a huge help! I struggle with the accountability like other reviews have said and so I miss the feature of scheduling my daily workouts for the week and getting the reminders. Now the app keeps making me re-log in every other time I open it which is super frustrating and I was doing a program and after doing two it stopped checking them off and I had to remember which one I was on. I’m not on week two but it still only shows that I did the first two days. I do like the new recipe feature but the logging out glitches and not being able to schedule my weeks out and get the reminders for those workouts is why I’m giving this a 3 now. Hopefully if some things improve I can give it a 5 like it was before. Sad to even have to write this review because I love the TIU girls!

TIU for 6 years but this app is AMAZING. I’ve followed Tone It Up for 6 years and at first used it as a way to meet new people in my community when I moved. I met a ton of wonderful women that I still keep in touch with! That being said, I’ve used the app since it came out about to years ago and I will never stop paying for this! It keeps on getting better and better every year and I just love the diversity in workouts, programs, recipes, EVERYTHING! It makes it so easy to work out at home, traveling for work, or on vacation. I know I’ll never miss a workout because of this app and having this option on my homepage of my phone every day gives me such great peace of mind. The meditations have also been a game changer and I can’t wait to take advantage of the pregnancy approved workouts when the time comes. THANK YOU, TIU! And of course, K&K! Xo

Almost Perfect. I love this app and I love how many amazing videos there are for us to utilize. The workouts are sorted in a very clean way, and I adore the meditation. The daily moves are a great (free) feature too! The first thing I’d love to see change is the fact that you need to have the volume on your phone on to hear anything. I’ve been using the app for about a year and a half, and this is new as of about 6 months ago. It’s very annoying and distraction to have my various alerts making sounds and muting a meditation or video while I’m using the app. The second thing that would be great to see fixed is some glitch that has been occurring since I began using the app where after 7 am, the next class I’m able to join isn’t until 8 pm. I know I can find the workouts on demand, but sometimes it’s nice to have the chat before and after to connect with the community.

A necessity in my daily life!. Tone it Up has really changed my life in the way I live day to day. As my life got busier and busier, it was hard to set aside time for myself to workout. My health was declining and the pressure to either do a full 45-60 min workout or bust was on my mind. I started tone it up before the creation of the app, and loved the daily toning moves. Once the app was introduced, there couldn’t be an easier way to get in a workout for the amount of time you were willing to devote to yourself! If I only have 20 mins, I can filter based on time. If I’m sore and only want an arm workout, I can filter by body part. With the app, I have no given myself permission to really create my own workout and carve out however much time I need to get it done!

Positive trainers and challenging workouts. I love love love this app and the girls of tone it up! First off the workouts are challenging for all levels and can be done by people with busy schedules! I work 13 hour days often 5-6 days a week. During work days I do not have much time at home. I am able to do the Daily toning moves and studio classes while at work or get in a quick workout after work. I love how positive the creators, Kat and Karena are. Their trainers all have the same positivity and make working out fun! There’s classes for many different interests, Yoga, Barre, HIIT, Kickboxing, even meditation. They’re even starting to do pre and postnatal workouts!!! This program has gotten me interested in Yoga, Chevy teaches in a way I can follow. And I’ve been able to start kickboxing again, Chyna’s classes are my favorite!!! So glad I was introduced to TIU!

Love Tone It Up!!. I started using this app 5 months ago and fell in love with it immediately. I was new to the TIU community, and thought i would give it a try. The scheduled classes are fun because you can talk to other girls before and after the class, and you know there’s other girls working out with you, giving up motivation to get up and power through! Also a lot of their work outs were filmed on the beach. Who doesn’t love watching the ocean as they’re working out? Only have 10 minutes? Do the daily moves or look through the on demand section. There are so many options!! HIIT, Tabata, full body, or focus on one area, yoga and stretching. Also the TIU community is beyond amazing. So loving and encouraging. Karena and Katrina are amazing ladies and I’m so thankful for this community they have helped create and continue to transform.

Love it!! +requests. This app keeps me accountable and I don’t have to think about what to do for a workout. It’s worth the cost. Dear Developers: I saw someone else request classes on the half hour and it looked like it was added but I still need them! I work from home and based on my conference call schedule I need to classes at 9:30am MT and 10:30am MT. Can you just make the classes available every 30 minutes on the clock? If not... please update the Featured Video on demand so that it matches the combined studio video. If the studio video has three workouts combined, please have that combination available in one click. It’s too hard to find all of the clips a la carte. Also would love to join classes in session. My calls end at the top of the hour so I need a minute or two to put my computer to sleep and get to the basement. Wish I could just join 2 minutes late instead of having to wait one hour or piecemeal the on-demand videos together (I saw that if you have the class scheduled previously you can join in session classes but sometimes a call ends early and I want to join in the fly!) For the chat in the studio, can you make it so that if your scroll your screen to the top of the chat it doesn’t bounce you back to the bottom with each new chat? I can never read through them. Thank you!

Still frustrated.. Ever since the update I cannot mirror my workouts horizontally with the AppleTV anymore. I actually have a hard time working out now that it is just a tiny vertical screen because I can hardly see it. Since the update there is a timer countdown on the workouts and I am not a fan. I don’t want to know how much longer. You can’t hide that if you can’t landscape it to the Apple TV. I have contacted support multiple times about fixing the screen mirror landscape issues with “were aware of the issue” response. I am so sad that the app update which everyone else seems to love has been such a negative experience for me. I really miss the weekly schedule and have not been able to stick to the new programs. I have had to just make up my own schedule. Please help so I can get back to the TIU experience that I love. I know it seems like minor issues but for someone who working out doesn’t come naturally to it’s a big deal having these kinds of changes. Thank you.

Tone it up App. It’s hard for me to put into words how much this app has meant to me, especially during these challenging times of Covid-19. I bought this app at the beginning of the year and it is worth every penny. I work out other places as well, but I know I will get everything I need to stay fit at home with these gals. I regularly buy their protein and follow their nutritional advice. But it’s really the work outs. I will work up a sweat daily with their toning moves alone or if I’ve gone for a run or done a heavy gym work out else where, then I use their stretching and yoga or foam rolling sessions. I always try to make their Instagram live classes but their on demand hit and booty arms and other program classes really deliver as well. I think this app is FREE for the rest of the month. Try it, you will probably buy it when you’re done. This is BY women FOR women coupled with heart and body positivity.

Warning⚠️ This app is HIGHLY addictive. It was a struggle for me to get a working app (actually took months, but who is counting). Thanks to the incredible TIU customer service for bearing with me, the app now works and it is incredible. Being in fitness marketing for several years, I have had unlimited access to countless at home workouts. However, there is nothing like accountability. I know that some of the comments on here is “why would I want to talk before and after class”? For me, it is the same reason why I love group fitness classes. Have you ever missed a week of class and have your fellow workout buds say “hey, where have you been?” Love that you truly feel part of a group class with Studio TIU. I once again look forward to my morning workouts because of this app. Also, for $84/year, the price really cannot be beat. I have paid almost 3x that per month for a group fitness class. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just download it already.

The best thing I’ve tried!. I’ve been a TUI girl for five years now. I would workout with some of their other workouts that were previously online. I printed these out and followed for some time because I couldn’t afford the app subscription. Now that they have provided a free trial month, and an able to afford it, I will for subscribe, it is just one of those things worth investing in because at the end it’s for your own benefit. So far, I’m loving each and every workout I’ve completed. Plus, the fact that now I can also find my favorite recipes in this app. They are easy to follow and least to say, fantastically delicious and nutritious. I wouldn’t have imagined how much I could’ve gained with the little time I’ve used it. I love it, definitely one of the best!!! Much appreciation to Karen and Katrina and the entire Tone It Up community!

Love the workouts but a few bugs. I absolutely love the Tone it Up workouts- there are so many options and they making working out fun and something I look forward to! However, there are a few bugs that it would be great to get fixed. One issue is that the weekly workout tracker doesn’t always work- sometimes I’ll do an On Demand video and it doesn’t show as a completed workout in the tracker. Another issue is with the scheduled class videos. Sometimes I have issues with the video starting automatically, then have to close out of the app and go back in- by that time I’ve missed the beginning of the workout. I would also love to have the option to Favorite or Save my favorite workouts. Lastly, the search function is not always accurate. It would be great to be able to filter workouts by length of time, equipment needed, etc.

Love it!!!!!. Just about half of my friends have been avid TIU girls for years and while in quarantine, I finally decided to give it a try. Freaking LOVE it. I love the community feel and there are so many moves I’ve never done in my life and I am a certified instructor and gymaholic so it’s rare to find something I haven’t done before. It was a bit difficult doing it on my phone for the last month because of constant interruptions or missing important things if I was in Do Not Disturb mode but what made me love you guys even more is that other people had a similar issue and you guys addressed it and FIXED it and now I can watch on my ipad perfectly! Thank you guys for all that you are doing for the TIU community. It shows when you love what you do and it inspires!!! Love you girls!

Fitness Investment You Won’t Regret. I’m a long time fan of the Tone It Up brand & didn’t immediately buy into the app. Why would I need it when I’m pretty savvy about scheduling & finding my own at-home workouts for the week? The difference is community & accountability. I had no idea about the incredibly positive impact this app would have on my life. I look forward to seeing familiar faces online that are working out with me & getting me excited about staying in shape. I love that I can sign up for these classes with friends or that I can take them on demand as my schedule allows. I know that in this app I’m with people who have similar goals as me & it’s great to create new friendships through a love of fitness. The Tone It Up app is about more than just getting fit. It’s a place you go to find friends, chat with your studio classmates & keep the motivation going for living your best life.

Love the app!. I want to start out by saying that I love this app so much and it has been key for getting my workouts in every day! The classes are so much fun and challenging. I am a huge fan of not having to think about what I’m going to do for a workout and the TIU studio app does all of the planning for you. My issue is that it has been glitchy the past week or so. I have been having trouble signing into classes and then getting kicked out of the app, once I get back in it will no longer let me get into my class. The app forces me to sign up for the next class or take it on demand. While taking the class on demand is still an option, it’s hard when I have to find the class(es) through the schedule and then search for them in the demand database. Just wanted to let you know I was experiencing this issue. Other than that it’s AWESOME!

Disappointed longtime subscriber. The app has been such a disappointment. I have been a longtime TIU “lifetime member” and this app is turning me off from TIU all together. The app constantly crashes, never marks workouts as done, can’t be played on my iPad horizontally, the list goes on and on. In addition, you now have to pay for the app to do any of the workouts. When I signed up as a “lifetime member” years ago part of the sell was that you would get all of their content with that payment but that clearly is no longer the case. I have given the app many chances and paid for a few months at a time and always end up cancelling my subscription to the app because it is such a headache and I feel like I am spending half of my workout time trying to get the app to work. I use to love TIU and admire K&K for putting out such good workouts and nutrition plans but now everything seems to be about making money and way less about helping women get healthy and fit. You are losing longtime clients.

So over this app. I started using this app last year in October and it was amazing fast forward to now and it is trash. It crashes daily, I have to uninstalled and reinstalled all the time, re login all the time, it never logs my progress, they used to have amazing features like weekly workouts and live workouts you could sign up for, nope all gone, they’ve have a weekly schedule up and it’s been the same workouts for 4 months. They have programs you can join, I just started a workout program and went to go do it this morning and my program has been removed off the app, how is anyone supposed to stay in track when they can’t even do the workouts? I feel like they have totally just dropped the ball and I have reached out multiple times with no responses. I know asking for a refund will just be a waste of time so for now I’ll just try and find another workout app, which is to bad bc this once was a legit hands down amazing app that I would rave about it people.

We asked- they listened!! 💕. It was exciting to see a new TIU app launched- just in time for #TIU21! I'm a BIG class/studio girl and love the accountability that comes with a scheduled class - this app is just that. The morning's that I would decide to skip the gym and do TIU at home, I would typically find myself hitting snooze and skipping the workout all together. The TIU app holds me accountable to the time I registered and gets my 🍑 outta bed! PLUSSS you get to chat with girls from all over and cheer them on along the way - just like going to class with a friend! The new trainers radiate the TIU energy K + K created and fit right in with the TIU community. They update the app regularly I've found, but my only wish for future updates would be to include all my previously purchased videos to be included in the 'On Demand' section. Water intake tracking would also be nice buttt- beggars can't be choosers right!? 😉

Love this app and use it daily. I’ve been with Tone It Up since 2013 and this app really was a game changer when it comes to accessibility of their program. Love the on demand features and the new program feature is great also to keep you motivated and to change things up. I like that all my old favorite workouts (from their DVDs) are also available on the app. I didn’t give it a full 5 stars because it is sometimes glitchy when it comes to casting onto your TV and if you try to jump out of the app for a moment (like when I’m casting on the TV but want to post to IG stories, if I go back to the app it will start playing on the phone while continuing on the TV). Not a big deal just slightly inconvenient, so I often won’t bother with IG while doing a WO. TIU is by far my favorite program for health and fitness and I use this app daily!

Love it and would love a tweak. Love the workouts, the flexible programs, all or it. One tiny change would make me so happy. Sometimes the app doesn’t register that I’ve completed a workout in my program. Not only am I sad I don’t get the little checkmark, but it also makes it difficult to keep track after a few days when the app doesn’t automatically update as it should. Can you add an option to manually update your workouts in the plan? Update: So, I took your advice kept on schedule, BUT still no check mark yesterday. I think the issue is that I’m in Brussels, Belgium. So when I worked out at 6:30 am because my 7 month old decided to wake up at 5 it didn’t register as a ‘new day’ because it was 10:30(+\- and hour) pm in California. Maybe a small tweak to allow you to use your local time to complete the workouts?

Best workout App EVER!!!. I have purchased multiple workout apps hoping to find the magic that would actually make me get up at 5:00 AM before my 4 kids to workout. Well...this is it!!! Karena and Katrina and the most motivating AND entertaining trainers that I have ever worked out with. Not only am I now in the best shape of my life, but my heart, mind and soul feel amazing! They keep workouts exciting by mixing up every type of exercise method out there. You never get bored! They also make it easy to see results because they plan each day for you! Just open this app and follow their plan and you will feel and look amazing! Thank you, Katrina and Karena😀 Also, my 14 year old daughter has started working out with you 4-5 nights a week and the other night she came into my room and thanked me for introducing her to you❤️! Yes! Yes! Yes to this App! I wish I could give it 100 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 🌟

Absolutely LOVE!. This app is amazing- it’s like going to a gym class, but at home! I have a newborn and a toddler so the good old days of going to the gym are long gone! I have already lost most of my pregnancy weight and am just thrilled with the quality of these workouts. The only thing is that I wish you could pause live classes. I have a 2 month old and sometimes I have to tend to her if she starts fussing or needs a diaper change. I hate that I have to miss a small chunk of the workout. Also, for some reason, the app doesn’t record your workout when you do an on demand one instead of the live class. In fact, that portion of the app is a little glitchy in general. When I add my own workouts, it doesn’t record it either for some reason. Hopefully these are just minor changes that can be fixed. Otherwise, I LOVE this app and will continue to use it!!

Home Gym Reinvented!. This app is amazing!!! I was honestly skeptical at first and didn’t want to pay for an app when I could just work out at home for free. After using a trial and committing I have found that my work out routine is so much more consistent now. I honestly don’t miss going to the gym and love being able to work out in the comfort of my home with minimal equipment required! The fact that many of the workouts are under 30 minutes makes it super easy to squeeze in a workout anytime and anywhere. The on-demand section is also amazing when you can’t make the schedule classes and many of the schedule classes are still offered in the on-demand section. I can’t thank TIU enough for helping me change my health for the better and inspiring me to take care of my self. Katrina and Karina are truly inspiring as well as the many women who are part of this community!

Love the new update but customer service needs a boost. Updated review: the latest update solved my problems! Love that recipes have been added to the app and programs. Price is great for all the content—especially when the cheapest gym you can find is still $120 a year (around here). Still wish customer support was easier to reach out to (and maybe not just an email form) but appreciated the acknowledgement when it came. Original: I was so excited when the new update launched but then the app kicked me out! Typically I can log back in with Facebook no problem but it keeps saying “Facebook login error”. I’ve tried to reach out multiple times to customer support through many channels but I’m still locked out of my app. Still being charged though. Very frustrated 😩

Awesome, but could use some minor updates. First: I love this app. I love need someone else to tell me what to do at the gym, and I’m seeing changes from regular use. It’s been worth every penny. There are some minor changes I would make to make it work better for me. First, I’d love it if videos played when my phone is locked. Sometimes it has to go in my pocket (lets be real, my sports bra) during a workout, and I wish I could lock it. Second, it would be amazing to be able to filter the videos by required equipment. So pick legs, then be able to filter for booty bands or weightless or whatever. Lastly, I’d like to be able to see how consistent I’ve been with the app. It tracks how many workouts you’ve done in a week, but I do t think there’s anywhere to see compiled results.

Worth every penny. I was a little bit worried about spending money on a workout app per month, but after one workout I was hooked! They have created another great product for their TIU community! I do not go to the gym because I used to pay a monthly membership, but never show up! Being able to wake up and basically do a workout as soon as you roll out of bed has made all the difference to me. Within the app, you can track how many days per week you workout plus encourage and support other women via chat before, during, and after the workout. Can it get any better?! If you don’t have time for a “live” class, you can choose from multiple workouts broken down by category, which makes working out SO much easier. Everything is all included in this app. Highly recommend!!

Unable to log in. I tried to log in for the first time since the update and am running into some problems. First it said my password was incorrect (not convinced it was but I have a bad memory so it’s possible) so I tried to reset it. I was sent the reset link and received an error message stating it was expired or had already been used. I used the prompt to have a new link sent but was just emailed the same exact link 8 times and of course got the same error message every time. I’ve tried logging in with fb, creating a new account (get an error saying that my email is already in use) yet when my husband tried to get a reset link on our laptop he got an error saying there is no record of an account with that email. I’ve tried deleting the app and re downloading. I’ve tried using both the app and the website. I’ve double checked that my payment is up to date. I’m at a loss and very frustrated. Major glitches since the update.

Best Workout App Ever!!. I’ve been a TIU girl since 2014, and I have to say that this app is a game changer! I love all the workouts you have right at your fingertips all in one place as well as the shop and recipes! If you haven’t tried it out yet, what are you waiting for? I even will use it to get in equipment free quickie workouts at work because I’m a busy momma of 2. There is even a pre and post natal workout section for all you new mommas out there trying to get back into pre momma shape! Also let’s not forget the motivation of all the trainers and other TIU girls on Instagram that go along with it! This community of strong and confident women all over the world really help keep you accountable! Thanks K&K for making such an amazing app!

Love TIU but.... I absolutely love TIU. Their works are great and very effective! All the trainers are very motivational in the videos and they really keep you engaged. The only reason why I give 4 stars is because the new app took away the daily workout. Why did they have to do this? Was it necessary? I loved having the daily workout because it really kept me motivated and say “Okay! We are doing this today and everyone else will be doing that workout too. Plus we can all share how we felt after doing that particular workout.” Having the daily workout there really kept me motivated and strict on myself for showing up for the workout. Since the new update, I’ve only used the app a handful of times compared to 6-7 days a week. I would love to see it back in the app for those of us who need that extra motivation. It really helped me! I hope TIU can consider making it a comeback! 🙏🏼❤️please!

Great concept but buggy UX. I love the concept but get very frustrated by the buggy behavior in the Studio tab in particular. At least once a day the Studio schedule seems to not refresh as I tab through the days, which in several instances has caused me to not be able to join the live class or gone and on-demanded the wrong class because it was showing the wrong day’s info. It also frequently only displays past classes and doesn’t let me see the upcoming schedule. I also wish there was parity between the app and the mobile site, as I often find myself wanting to see content on the mobile site. I have long-standing login issues on the mobile site that their CS team can’t seem to resolve for me, but that’s separate from the app. All in all, I love the idea and really like their approach but wish the product was more technically reliable.

New Update Bricked the App. The app is stuck on the pink loading screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times as I have seen that this has helped others. We are in the middle of the Summer Tone Up... this is unacceptable. I only have so much time to get my workout in and pushing an update that hasn’t been extensively tested and is buggy or unresponsive for many users (see feedback in Instagram and Facebook communities) is not cool. I have been a TIU girl since 2013 and the app has been underwhelming and buggy since its release. Please find a new app developer. I have switched to so many other apps... BBG Sweat, Jillian Michaels app and I have never had issues like this. Still love the workouts and community but really frustrated.

Can’t see friends in activity feed any more. With the new update, I no longer am able to see my friends in my activity feed, or my own workouts for that matter. Now all I see is a map, to connect with local strangers. I am not interested in connecting with local women, I don’t even have my location activated and somehow my location is showing up with a huge map with profiles of strangers to connect with at the bottom. Half of the reason why I liked ToneItUp was so that I could see what my friends were up to and we could cheer each other on. Please bring back the activity feed in community and let me have the option to not have to be prompted to connect to a bunch of strangers. It’s not just me either, we all are really confused as to why ToneItUp took our ability to connect with real friends. None of us like this new map and loss of connection and are seriously considering closing out our accounts and joining Peloton or another workout program.

Disappointed. I am a HUGE K&K fan. I have been using them for my in home workouts for almost 8 years now. I’m talking original work out videos from their living room 😂I really loved how the original app had classes you could schedule. That was way more motivating for me and it reinforced being part of this amazing community. I also liked how you could set a goal of how many times a week you want to work out and it would keep track even if you chose an on demand workout instead of the offered class. I don’t like how this app is laid out in programs. I am one who has been doing these work outs for so long, I will crave a specific yoga workout one morning or kettlebell the next and *from what I can tell* any workouts that are not part of your “program” are not counted as workouts. I think there should be a goal setting option where if none of the programs appeal to you, you could set a weekly goal for yourself of how many times to workout. The K&K philosophy is even the littlest workout matters and is important but this app makes you feel like you have to be committed to very specific workout and if you do not do them it is not the “correct way to work out”. Unfortunately I have only used the app once since the update when I used to use it 4-5 times a week. It is not the same motivating influence as it used to be.

Love it just wish there was a bit more options!. I love the app and love being able to work out with other women in the TIU community. I’ve been a TIU girl since 2014 and attended the Miami retreat in 2016 so I’m a huge supporter of TIU & K&K :) my only suggestion for the app would be… I have to get up super early to get my workouts in. I would love to be able to take a class at 430am instead my only option is 4am and 5am. I know I can do the on demand workouts but being able to work out with other ladies and chat with them is so much fun! Thank you all for creating this for our community. I enjoy having all of my workouts (classes, on demand videos, and daily moves) in one place. I love having my own profile where I can set my likes and goals, it’s awesome. Also, how cool would it be if we could log our meals for the day in this app too… just an idea :) and I’m so excited to see what’s in store!!

Liking the workouts, but the app could use some help.. I’ve been a member since 2015, and I’ve really enjoyed the workouts throughout the years. I just recently got the app and overall I think it’s great (love the organization and the log for your workouts), but I had a few suggestions for improving the app itself. 1. Please make this app available directly on an Apple TV. It’s hard to cast, and often the workout skips and stops in middle. (If this exists, I’m sorry! I must have an older Apple TV). On that note, it would be awesome to have these workouts available on my laptop, because my phone is too small to watch the workouts on. I feel like I spend more time looking at the phone than working out. 2. If it’s possible, it would be awesome to add a timer to the daily moves for the days we do HIIT circuits. Because the only place I can see the moves is on my phone, I feel like I’m scrolling back and forth between my timer and the app. 3. What I would really love to see is the ability to save your favorite on demand workouts! That way I have a folder of my favorites ready to go without searching for them. I’ve already wanted to save the “love your total body tone”, “dance HIIT sculpt”, and a few others. Thanks for the nutrition plan and workouts! I really love the variety you give in both recipes and workouts. Makes it easy to personalize!

Good concept, bad/glitchy app. First off the concept is great. Love the community n women empowerment idea But my 1st complaint is that I can’t even join the community. Anytime I try in the app, the app just shuts down and quits. I’ve tried connected to WiFi at the house and with my phones own cellular connection. Both options still make the app shut down. 2nd complaint. When not connected to WiFi, the programs will randomly shut down during the middle of a workout. And the workout does not save your place ever. So you have to restart the workout over. Also it should tell you about what size weights you’ll need for the workouts. No way to tell if you’ll need lighter or heavier weights, which means you have to workout by all your weights. Which means working out at the park, beach, or outside is near impossible since you don’t know which weights you’ll need. I wish there was a way to save your place in the video. So you can pause to take important phone calls or respond to people. As sometimes I workout and need to get back to a work message or take a phone call. I try to squeeze in my fitness whenever I can. Otherwise there’s a ton of awesome workout programs, nutrition plans, and lots of tips and tricks to maximize your workouts. Great idea, but could use some work with the app glitching Will update my review if any of these things change. ☺️

TIU Changed My Life!. I’ve tried so many workout apps and have struggled with body image and eating disorders in the past; Tone It Up changed everything for me! First of all, the workouts are incredibly fun and engaging, I love showing up every day and following along in the classes. Second, Tone It Up recipes and K&K’s outlook on nutrition set you up with delicious meals that aren’t focused on calories. The focus is always on eating clean, eating healthy, and being satisfied! Finally, the feeling of community is amazing. Tone It Up is a positive workout community focused on self care and providing a motivating atmosphere. I’ve been using the Tone It Up app and following the recipes for almost a year and have seen amazing results (hello abs?!). Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have fun working out and learn how to love themselves more in the process!

What I have been looking for!. The best thing about the app is the integrative levels of health. Weights, cardio, yoga, clean eating, stretching, foam rolling. It’s all here in one place. The women are very down to earth & inspiring individual. They all have a uniqueness that makes me motivated to do with no one watching but my dog, lol! I am always sore (in a good way) all over because each trainer is different. I know I’ve improved my breathing, yoga & weight training with their knowledge & ability to describe (& remind) the correct positioning throughout the workouts. It makes a HUGE difference! My one hope is that the app mirrors the recipes for the programs you sign up for. I did the summer time tone up, but some of the meal plan was only on the online book, which I didn’t download (too much paper). It would be nice to have it all in the app. (LMK if I missed it). Still a 4.999 rating from me. Thanks!
