AirMeasure - AR Tape & Ruler Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Textbook example of false advertising. See all the cool things in the video for this app? The magic ruler that overlays on the camera image? The chair whose dimensions hover next to it? This app does NONE of these things. It's just a screen-size image of a yellow ruler. I'm guessing that they figure people won't bother demanding a refund for 99 cents once they realize they've been ripped off. Sadly, in my case, they're right. I'll take the time to warn others of this fraud, and leave it at that.

Does nothing at all. The info says you need ARKit, so a 6s or better, to access all the functions. I think that implies that there should be some usefulness for other models, right? But after installing on my 6+, the app does nothing at all other than display a ruler I can slide with my finger. Sliding the phone on a surface does nothing. There aren’t even any controls, help panels, or options. Total waste.

Impossible to figure out!. First of all, I gave this 2-stars rather than one, becase it looked really awesome on the App Store. Want my $.99 back! I’m sure this app works for smart people who can figure it out, but myself, a master’s degreed obvious imbecile, is completely baffled! Pease cancel this, my “free” 1-week free trial that I had to pay for; I no longer want to own it! Thanks

Inaccurate. Darn, I was hoping this app worked. Unfortunately, the results are wildly inaccurate. Only 6 of 30 results were accurate to within a half inch (all measurements 10”- 4’ ). 1/2” isn’t acceptable at this distance, and many of the results were several inches off. This just isn’t acceptable. My new phone meets all of the standards the developer mandates, but the app doesn’t work.

Great Look, Doesn’t Really Measure Up. I’ve tried this App since the first version and I’ve had mixed results. While I like a lot about the design, usability is still too complex to understand. Accuracy seems questionable in most cases. For instance, I was testing the “measure a human” function, and my 5’1” subject was consistently measured below his height. The App would say, “Point to the Floor” and I would, then no further direction. So I would move the phone up and it would detect a face. Intuitively, once it detects the face you would think that’s the measurement. Not only was it inconsistent, but I was getting measurements of 3’9”, 4’6”, and others below 5’. I was in a well lit space with plenty of contrast. Other features, like hanging a picture on the wall, never worked for me. Detecting a plane (the wall) seemed challenging for the App, so it never really saw the wall. All the different modes are cool. Some are easy to understand and some are impossible to comprehend because the interface doesn’t give you feedback about what it’s doing. Many of the modes seem redundant as far as function, but they have completely different methods of getting to the function. I’m not sure what the purpose of one measurement mode is over another in a lot of cases. All in all I think the App has promise, but it’s no replacement for a quality laser measurement tool or a good ol’ tape measure. Until it’s somewhat accurate, I see no point using it.

I must be a complete idiot, b/c I couldn't figure out how this works.. As far as I can see all this just an on screen ruler. no matter what I did I could not get it to actually "measure" anything, without me physically picking up and moving my phone 5" at a time. What is the good of that? I guess it's better than caring around a tape measure in your pocket, but not really. I tried to download the other program it said I needed, but it said it was not compatible with my phone.

Misleading App. I was looking forward to using this app at work and after paying for this app. I get a pop up that says that the additional feature will not work and the only thing I got was a stupid ruler. Very misleading. Thumbs down. Now I have to call Apple and fight for the charges to be drop. Yes it’s only 99 cents but that’s how disappointed I am of this app.

Too good to be true. Amazing App, works very nicely when you pan the camera to scan the area properly. Sometimes, there's a little bit of error of about 1 inch, but I guess that fine.

Artist. The best part of this app is that it stores the measurements i’m in artist went back 2 months ago and The information was still there

Nice!. Works great. My new favorite app. Saves your measures for later review. Seems fairly accurate when comparing against my measuring tape out of the tool box.

Easy. Easy to use, intuitive. Comes in handy. I never know when I want to measure something.

I paid for noting. I PAID .99 CENT FOR FOR A Ruler face in the pictures it looks like you could like measured with your phone but I want you to slide up and down to measure your Item that you want to measure but it doesn’t work it’s full of it if I could get a refund I would ask for it if that about the $.99 it’s the principle of it

One huge flaw. This would be a spectacular app were it not for the fact that zoomed phones will have wildly inaccurate measurements. The developer should have warned us that this would be the case. One has to either reset the phone to standard when the app is used or forfeit any semblance of accuracy. I don’t recall this problem before the update...and I’ve always used a zoomed screen.

This is great! Excited to try the picture frames. This is great! Excited to try the picture frames

It ain’t here yet.... AR may be the next big thing, but it hasn’t made it into the pro ranks just yet. If this app could do just one of the many tasks that claims to be able to do accurately it would be worth it. It cannot do any accurately. AR is not an accurate way of measuring, yet. I’m as disappointed to have to write this review, as you are reading it. I wish this App worked, but there is just no way you can use a tape measure that is off by several inches when measuring something only a couple feet long. This app, and all the AR measuring apps, measure things as well as Zoltar predicts the future.

Very Difficult to Use and Inaccurate. I tried to use this app to measure my living room on my last year’s model iPad. I gave up and did it old school with a tape measure. I couldn’t hold my iPad steady enough to get the measuring dots where I wanted them, it wouldn’t let me put a starting point in one corner of my room despite having all my blinds open and all my lights on, AND the measurements were very inaccurate as compared to my physical tape measure. All in all, a waste of my time and probably yours.

Is this a fraud?. Fraud?? Before I buy, it says it supports my device/os with no mention of limitations. First open it says it only supports a limited functionality due to my device, then opens to a single function of a scrolling ruler with zero ability to do ANYTHING other than scroll a ruler. No effort or notifications by os to use my camera whatsoever. This appears to be fraud.

Wow!. I’m amazed at how much must be going on in the background of this app while it’s use is just so simple and intuitive. Nice job on impressing me with my first AR app download!

nifty little app. Nifty little app but I would love to see the ability to use metric units (cm, m). Edit: Now there's the ability to switch between feet and meters! Nice. But, the measurements still seem to be off sometimes.

iPhone 6 Incompatability. Before downloading this app, I checked the compatibility remarks for this app in the App Store and it states it is compatible with this phone (iPhone 6). I downloaded the app & opened it. The app does not work! It looks as if it is a great app if it ran.

Not really. Not really accurate at all I can give you a general measurements so you can get in the ball park I’ve had it I need you to half off to 3 inches off sometimes even more than that so it’s OK for just a general guesstimate but not actual accuracy

Really nice app! Could add cm. I’ve really liked the app, of course it’s not a perfect measurement, the app adverts it the moment you open (Guessing you read the instructions). Could add some stability improvement & please add a “metric system” option... In my country we don’t actually use the imperial system.. Would totally love it. Apart from that, it’s quite handy when you just need some references, or simply have fun =)

Best app I ever had. I’m serious so literally the best app I’ve ever had I’ve spent about a month looking for measuring and they’ve been all wrong until I’ve seen this app it’s almost addicting.

Great tool in your purse.. Very easy to use. I didn’t net to read the tectorial‘s or watch the videos. Now that I have it I use it all the time whenever I’m out shopping. I never realized how much I needed this app. And plus it is like I said so easy do you I’ve tried others and they were way too complicated. If you’re hesitating yo ahead and download it. I even donate it because it was so good.

Pretty accurate for estimation. I was impressed with how close the measurements were. I certainly wouldn’t use it for carpentry or precision work, but great for eyeballing furniture and such. Handy little app!

Best app!!!. Best app ever. I am totally clueless when it comes to any kind of measuring, I don’t own a measuring tape..not even a ruler. So as one can imagine when I needed to measure stuff, I was in trouble!! I went looking online and found recommendations for this app, thank god because it’s amazing. There’s nothing I’ve come across that it can’t do and ITS SO EASY!!! It makes it all so so easy! It keeps the history for things too which has helped me tremendously at times where I needed the measurements or the photo of the item measured as I have an online store and was so bummed that I didn’t take a photo of the measurements! Well, came back onto the app just to check and hope, what do you know!? History! Of all I’ve measured so I could get the photos I needed as my items are stored else where this has saved me a few times!! Awesome app! I recommend it 110%!

So EASY!. This is simple and easy to use for quick measuring and then it has more sophisticated measuring abilities. Favorite utility app!!

Don’t believe the compatibility list.... While the list of compatible devices includes the iPhone 6, and the description advises that “you must have an ARKit-enabled device to have access to all the available tools,” only one tool (“slide to measure”) actually works on the iPhone 6. Not even worth .99¢.

Not accurate. I tried many different angles to verify it was not a factor. I measured a tape measure and found it to be inches longer then the tape measure. I’m using iPhone X. I also tried different heights above the objects to see if that was factor. Thankfully Apple is coming out with their version in iOS 12. So wait and use actual tape measure for time being.

Not accurate and hard to use. Nice interface but quirky and hard to use with unreliable and inaccurate measurements. Repeatedly scanning the same object dimension will yield different measurements each time. Trying to measure a long dimension in segments is particularly difficult; sometimes the app picks up at the desired spot and continues, other times it refuses and wants to “triangulate” instead. The interface also randomly switches a virtual tape measure on and off. It’s a great idea that would have serious utility and value IF it worked. But this version is not ready for prime time and definitely not worth the price. Save your 99 cents.

Not perfect but not bad!!. Cool to have a fairly accurate way to measure distances trough my phone. Comparing to a tape measure it frequently is off by less than 1-3%.

Seems Buggy, Hard to Use, and Inaccurate. A friend of mine is doing a beta test of the next iOS and it has a function like this. I loved the idea so I bought this app. It is so much harder to use than his. Some tomes I’ll lock on Ronan edge and the tape measure will just start running out, or the end will become “unanchored”, or the readings are simply off...even when I make the adjustments as shown in the tutorial. I wish I would have awaited for the next iOS update.

Great Idea if it worked. This is a great idea for an app. Unfortunately, I have downloaded three times at this point with an iPhone 7 and nothing more than a spinning wheel getting ready to measure. If you like watching spinning wheels, this will be a great app. for you. If you want to be productive and actually measure something...look elsewhere.

10cm off measuring 60cm countertop. This application was a disappointment. I measured the width of my countertop a few times always getting 52cm. When I measured using the native Apple app Measure from the exact same place using the same points and by hand with my tape measure, I got 62cm. This is a serious discrepancy.

Manual mode doesn’t work on a 6 plus. Looks good - not accurate at all for manual mode for older plus phones that can’t take measurements with built-in components. I assume the app sizes the ruler to the full screen no matter what screen size, so you wind up with a significantly higher measurement on a plus. At 44” it gives me 52” - totally useless - deleting it.

Doesn’t work on iPhone 6. Doesn’t work on iPhone 6 even though the App Store description says it does. It appears to only allow sliding on a surface measurements, and that is not even close to being worth paying for because that is a free app that I chose not to get because I wanted more. I was cheated by this purchase.

Great for students!. It is an AR measuring toolkit that contains a variety of modes to accurately create measurements. This app is a great tool for the classroom for individual or collaborative activities when learning geometry, interior design, sewing, carpentry, and other ways an educator or anyone else sees fit. I measured a couple of objects and then used a tape measure to test for accuracy. The app was pretty accurate. There are modes that offer short tutorial videos where you can watch demonstrations. The vertical height mode allows the user to measure tall buildings and trees as well as others. Younger students would enjoy using this in school as a fun assignment to find the tallest tree or building on campus.

Great Measuring Tool! (With a few flaws). This is probably one of the best AR measuring tools out there! Measurements are accurate and easy to edit. The only downfall of the app is it’s usage of battery life, Which drained my battery from 20% to 3% in a matter of minutes. Overall, the app is very useful, provided having a full charge of battery.

Don’t waste your time. I was hopeful, based on the current rating of this app, but no, it doesn’t work consistently on anything. I thought the iphone X had AR capabilities, but this app works as poorly as primitive ones from years ago. There’s a reason you haven’t already heard about apps like these, and that’s cause none of them work like you’d expect them to, including this one.

Concept and UI are great but results are inconsistent. The base app is incredibly well done, and great UI and UX sensibilities. The add-ones are a bit complex and don’t seem to be functionally intuitive (eg measuring sq footage). Unfortunately the measurements themselves are incredibly variable in accuracy. Out a series of 10 measurements, 3-4 are within 2 inches of correctness, another 3 within 5 or so inches, and the rest unusable. I hope that with the new ARkit in iOS 12, the accuracy will improve markedly, and this app will be one of the best measuring tools going.

Need Millimeters! Am I missing something here?!. Sure I could do the math but I work with small things that are measured In millimeters as industry standard. I was figuring this app had the functionality... but no, centimeters is as small as it gets. I won’t whine about the $0.99 cents I just paid. But I will say that leaving out that unit of measure is just a functionality fail.

False Advertising. This is not at all what i paid for. All i have on my phone is a ruler thats my whole screen. All i can do is put my prone up to something AND if its not as long as my phone, i can measure it. Thank you for giving me a 4” ruler smh. Definitely would like my money back. Good job developers, you have played me

Works great and easy to use. Great app! I’m shocked at all of the negative comments. I would t use the app for finish carpentry work but for rough measurements it’s great!

Seems to work pretty well.. I quickly measured the width of a curtain and got back something that was the right size. Well done!

Very cool but not accurate. It’s fine for getting a close enough quick measurement but it’s consistently off by an 1-2 inches. It’s over estimates and in what I have used it for that’s better than underestimating. I would love to see how much more accurate this would be if the rear camera had the same sensors as the front on the iPhone X.

RIPOFF 😡😡😡. I’m the add it showed that it had sooooo many different modes. But then all I can do is slide my phone across the table. Which, don’t get me wrong, it’s really fun..... for about three seconds. And I know 99 cents isn’t a lot but, it’s still money that I have to pay! Then it tells me I have to buy ANOTHER app to actually use this one. I DO NOT recommend this app! Please DONOT get unless you want to slide your phone across tables and counters.

Great look, poor performance. Gave it 2 stars because it is a really slick looking app. Unfortunately, it is difficult to use and does not work very well so performance is less than 2 stars. I got a lot of different measurements when trying to simply measure the length of my desk and, as a result, I could never rely on this measuring app. I would always be questioning whether the result I got from the app was accurate or not - and I am not talking about fractions of an inch, I am talking about errors of over a foot. Maybe my technique is poor, but the tutorial videos are too simplistic and they did not help me to perfect my technique so as to get consistent results. I hope Apple does a better job with their upcoming iOS 12 measuring app because it would be a great tool if it worked and could be relied upon.

Awesome!. Best tool to have!! So useful, and so beautifully made. Thank you! I could say a lot of good things about this app, but I’ll save it for later

It’s amazingly accurate. I’m astonished how greatly this app works. It’s a little hard to catch control of the app at first but it’s amazing

Fantastic use of AR technology. This is an amazing proof of concept on how AR tech can help in the real world rather than just be a game. Once it has stabilized it seems to get pretty close results, but sometimes it can take a little bit of time before it gets there. Looking forward to continued improvement on this, I’d be happy for pay for a more polished version.

Total False Advertising. Fraud. Shows the ability to measure from point to point when actual fact, it makes your phone into an actual ruler.

Rubbish.. Never an accurate measurement

Bad app. Showing something but once you have downloaded you can’t find any of those features. Just a ruler. Don’t worry waste time on this

Ridiculously buggy. Great idea, but app is broken

Air measure. Rubbish app. What is shown in the promo doesn’t work with the app. Seems I need another app to make that part work. Very misleading and disappointing as I wanted it to do measurements on a ceiling not directly onto a surface.

Not as described. Only ruler on my iPhone 6 although it say this app works on your device it is not true.

Works after seeking support. I paid for the app to simply use the measurements for shipping cartons. Had to email support to know which tool to use. They replied immediately with the right advice to get me started. Tool works as prescribed. Happy customer

Zero accuracy. Could not get a single accurate measurement from this.

Not accurate. The inches aren’t accurate! Took a tape measure and 2.5” on the app is actually 3” on tape measure.

Does NOT work.. Although it states it works on iPhone 6, it does not work, even though I have IOS 11.01... what gives?

Pretty good. Works most of the time pretty accurately, I can’t seam to get the height one to work properly

Baffling. A baffling app

Amazing!!. I rarely write reviews. Amazing tool to have. Im blown away by the accuracy and variety of different tools you can use to measure just about anything. And free to boot! And No adds!! Outstanding!!

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t work. But it’s a start. You’ve earned a star for the try. When it’ll work, let me know and you’ll get the other 4. Until then, I’ll keep using my tape.

Inaccurate. Cool idea, and would be amazing if it did but after installing I walked around with a tape measure comparing its measurements to reality and it wasn’t accurate even a single time.

Good device. One of the nicest measuring app that I tried with built in device like bubble level and stud finder are my favourites.

Doesn’t Work!. This doesn’t work at all.

A good effort!. This app has tons of potential. Don’t get me wrong, it is far from usable at the moment. But I am excited to see how it will progress in the future

Super produit très facile à ajuster. Merci

Your app sucks. What your advertising and what your selling is not the same. I believe that’s called fraud

Too unreliable. It’s a great concept, but it just doesn’t work well enough to be of any use. Even measuring the same object twice can give wildly different results.

Interesting. A very interesting app. Bought it to measure the height of some trees for a project and it was a bit unreliable. Still it has promise and the unreliability might have been from -10 weather and howling wind when I was busy measuring. I like it.

Doesn’t work save your money. I reviewed all info and it sounded good but once I paid for it and downloaded it nothing worked as advertised It’s a rip off don’t waste your time or money! Sad

Waste of money. This app is a paid version of another app EXACTLY the same as this. I bought this thinking the other one was fake but it turns out it’s not. Do NOT BuY

This app made me want to throw my phone away. We are clearly not ready for this type of technological advancement. Our forefathers would be ashamed. How is my 5 ft 10 partner is supposedly 5 ft 2? How did Apple even approve this? I wish I could give it no stars.

Lacking usable instructions. So frustrating-having wonderful tools that cannot be used as instructions flimsy and not explanatory. Too bad.

Only one feature works. The opening screen says I need to get the ARKit to have the other features. That’s what this app is!

AirMeasure. This app did not work for me, I have a Iphone 6plus and the app doesn't function as stated, it actually did nothing and I deleted it, I would like to get my 99 cents back but Apple doesn't function properly either looks like.

I love it!!!!. So handy and i love being paperless. Plus I never forget the paper and measuring tape. All with me in the spirit of the moment.

No different then free version. I just paid for And downloaded this app and it Provides none of the functionality detailed in the description or the reviews. it’s nothing more than a $.99 version of the free app.

Frozen on “Loading Screen”. This app is completely worthless. It remains in a loading mode and will not get beyond that point. I have tried to close out and use it 5 times now, each with the same result.

I tried using this app on my iPhone 6 Plus and I am stuck. I downloaded this app and I tried to learn how to make it work. All the app did was show this measuring tape on my screen. I thought I could use it to measure objects in real-life on my screen.

No good on iphone6. Description says advanced features don’t work unless you have an ARkit enabled device. Thats ok, I just wanted the tape measure anyway, but it’s useless on iphone6. Nowhere does the ad say do not purchase for iphone6. The app launches, but the 1 inch measure is actually 1 1/8 inches, so it’s no good to me. No settings, no adjustment.

FAIL. Don’t waste your time.. Does not do anything as advertised. Nothing but a flat tape measure on the screen you hold with your finger while sliding your phone next to what you are measuring. (Not that accurate) No other modes. No “air” measuring like advertised or shown in the App Store video. Don’t waste your time with this.

The best app ever!. There's so many complicated apps for measuring, this app is very accurate very easy to use, and the tools are amazing! Good job guys!

This is a really nice it can do a lot. Nice tool I have se it all the time Especially if I don’t have to be exact.

Pete Klironomos. Very happy to have this handy app when out looking at property...awesome little tool!

Does not work. A waste and misleading. After purchase, the app opens with screen showing that mosr features are unavailable without Arkit, which is not available for my phone.

Will not work on iPhone 6 Plus and it states that it will. No way to get refund. SCAM. I get nothing but a picture of a ruler. No options but to choose inches or cm. Got my money and it doesn’t work on 6 plus. False representation.

False advertising!!!. Watched video for this app and thought wow this would be really handy. It shows all these things you can do, but when you download and open the app, all you get is very poor POS tape measure! Come on really!!

Didn’t work for me. I don’t know if it’s my phone case or what but it didn’t work. When I am paying 99 cents for an app it is a throw away if I don’t connect with it pretty quickly. Next.

Excellent. Excellent and accurate. Very useful app. Hardly use my tape any more.

Don’t get fooled!. I paid for this app because of the different ways you could measure only to find out that you can only use it for the slide feature for a very short distances on your phone. That I needed to upgrade to get more. Total bait and switch.

Don’t bother.... Was looking for an app to measure light fixtures on my cathedral ceilings..paid for and downloaded this app only to be told AFTER I purchased it that the features I was looking for are only available with another app?! False AND misleading

Heaven Sent. With all I do at work as the Property Maintenance Manager, this tool makes a lot of task extremely easy.

Disappointed. I really thought it would be accurate but it isn’t at all. The key thing about measuring is so you know how long it is what you are measuring as opposed to close estimate. I can use my feet to estimate. Good thing it was free

Can’t figure it out. Tape measure ends up going somewhere unintended. Can’t figure out how to send by text.

Primitive. Very primitive application, it doesn’t have any options, only a picture of a ruler that is taking the whole screen, you have to slide the phone while touching it.... it’s not an air measurement at all. Disappointing

Difficult to use. I can’t get the hang of this at all. I click, I click on circles, click on the arrow, but I can’t really get it to measure the actual object. It’s easier just to get an actual ruler or tape measure.

Not worth it!!!. Charges me $.99 and I got it cause it says it’s compatible with my phone. Then I open the app and there’s 1 feature where u drag ur finger, really? I can say my phone is 5” and do that. Don’t waste ur money.

Not that reliable. Doesn’t always work, but does the job.

Use only to estimate, not accurate. If you increase or decrease the distance from the phone to what you are measuring it’s reads different measurements.

The best. This app works like it was meant to work. I use it in my real estate business to measure counter tops, rooms and the whole house.

Disappointed. The first day the app worked great. On the second day it started doing weird things like sending the tape measure in different directions. I really regret purchasing it as it has wasted a lot of my time.

Charges you. I got the app and when I looked at my account it was charging .99 a month for it!! I know it’s not a lot but they never said it was going to charge your and it says it is

Close but not good enough. Not consistent, and it’s only ever close to the correct length never on point 3 stars because it’s cool ;)

Not for Apple 6. Thought this would do all the features shown but it only does measuring sliding the phone. Really not that accurate.

Doesn’t do anything for me. It claims to be compatible with iPhone 6, but I see nothing but a yellow ruler and a cm/in switch. If there’s a way to measure anything, I haven’t found it yet.

Delete. If “it works on this IPad” why do I only get the ruler, full screen? No helps no way to get helps, swipe, squeeze, pinch, double click, restart......no way to get support. Description said if I have IOS 11 and ARKit or above it “flies” with numerous tools. 12.1.3 on IPhone but just get ruler. SAD. Just buy and delete?

Incredible. Great app and VERY accurate. Thank you.

Won't do anything. I downloaded the app twice, I get the yellow roller I run it along a box while moving in and at the end there is no other buttons on the screen it looks like there should be an OK or finish button but there is nothing

Updates. The app is not functioning properly for iPhones past 12

Good.. but not... So I thought this was a great app... from the looks it looked cool... didn’t realize that it only does slide ruler because I only have to 5S If you have a 5S BIG WASTE OF MONEY

Doesn’t work unless you purchase a 2nd app.. I paid $2.99 for AirMeasure. None of the functions advertised work unless you also purchase another app, Arkit. This seems to be unfair, deceptive advertising to me. The measuring tool provided in AirMeasure does not work at all. How do I get my money back?

Not happy. Thought this might been just the app I needed, but I am VERY disappointed. I can ONLY access the ruler feature where you slide your phone across a surface-PERIOD. I even looked for an upgrade. I would like for someone to contact me as to any options I might have.

No measure. Total ripoff! Wouldn’t go into any mode except slide rule mode. Said I would need something called Arkit to get other modes and Arkit wasn’t available. Didn’t mention Arkit in any of your advertisements before I bought the app.

Bought for no reason. I bought this app just to find out on my phone I can't do anything but slide as I move to measure anything. Waste

Excellent app. Use it to measure rooms. Will use when fishing

Does nothing on a iPhone 6. I didn’t read the fine print and installed it on an iPhone 6 and all I got was a screen that looks like a ruler which you can scroll with your finger which is pointless since sliding the phone does not scroll the ruler.

Doesn’t work!. It doesn’t measure properly! Second time I’m loading this app and it’s still doesn’t work! Trying to measure a simple rectangular coffee table and measurements are different every time and never the right dimension!

Fail!. I should have read the complete description, because I only have an iPhone 6 - and so no ARKit options. And I have several perfectly good real-world tape measures. But it was worth 99 cents and one star to learn the lesson: READ THE FINE PRINT.

Not accurate. Not so accurate sometimes . For example with people’s height
