Want to see ads?. It’s very difficult to give this app much more than two stars. Maybe if I could actually try out the free version I’d be able to say it was better than that. But I had a hard time, like I see others did too, doing anything with the app before a new ad would pop up. In their defense other free remote apps do the same thing... but that’s still frustrating.

How do I customize the remote?. I’ve purchased the pro version but still cannot find how to customize the buttons. I’d give it five stars if I could find how to customize it. Help, anyone?

It's free. I had it before it got changed to the pro version. I don't use it but it's a free "pro" version of an app that probably cost money.

Power Button. I think it’s ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that I bought this app to use instead of my remote and it can’t even turn my tv on.

BUY FULL VERSION YOU WONT REGRET. This is a great app there a few small improvements they could make but I'm sure they'll think of them eventually. You won't regret buying the full version it really is like a more functional remote on your phone 👌👌👌

Better apps out there.. I downloaded for my Samsung smart tv. Pop up ads like CRAZY. The connectivity was usually a hassle. Sometimes didn’t work; rare, but nonetheless. Pro cost $4 and with that same cost went with smart remote that had none of those issues. Only reason I had this one for so long was cause the ability to use the directional pad before buying.

Beautiful app. Critical flaw. A stunning looking app. Don’t mind paying to remove ads either. However, that is all undone by omitting IOS backgrounding support. Using the app 20 times in a session is an exercise in futility. The app resyncs every time you click off it. I’m using another remote app now, while not as pretty, at least works without reconnecting every time I want to adjust the volume!

Doesn't work now.... Well after I updated this app it stoped connecting to my Smart Tv. It worked perfectly fine before the update though.

Worst remote app ever. I only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option. It takes forever to load/connect to the tv. Every time I want to use the app I have to delete then redownload in order for any of the buttons to work. There are also a ton of ads that pop up making the remote unusable until the ad is over.

Very weak. So it’s cool at first. Then I hit tools to put on a sleep timer, how do I move the cursor. O they want you to buy that feature, no way to select what you want with the touch pad option, it’s a add on. Waste of my time. Don’t download unless you want to pay to use

Works fine except turning on tv. The remote works fine except two major flaw: 1) cannot turn on tv, 2) always need to wait to reconnect after a few minute of not using the remote.

Remote for CHEAP ADDS. Beware, this free app is extremely dull & sluggish. But the most annoying thing is the overwhelming number of pop up adds flooding the app while in use. And that’s probably why you’re constantly prompted to upgrade for their $3.99 USD version instead. This is another app designer selling out the user’s quality expectations. You’re just bombarded with cheap annoying adds that only benefit the app designer’s pocket. Nonsense!

Romotie 2. Well designed and good match to actual Tv remote. However, it does not allow the set to be turned on at initial app opening or as an option.

Works, but paywall for a basic feature. The key feature of navigation to control apps, menu items is locked to a paywall. Only use it has is if you want to switch channels, change volume levels, pause, play, etc.

Connection loss. Constantly loses connection with my TV and the power button doesn’t work. Otherwise very helpful now that our dog has had the remote for dinner.

Cancer on my iPad. Instant hatred for this app. The pop-up ads try to harass you into buying the add-free version and make this app absolutely awful and the free version unusable as far as I’m concerned. I had this app running for a total of 10 minutes and had to shut down and restart 3 times. Was presented with at least 8 full-screen “hijack the device” adds in that short time. Really wanted to like it, and I typically pay for ad-free upgrades but this was too much. DELETE. Seemed promising until it sucked.

ITS AWESOME. It’s pretty good the only thing about it is the delay when you press the button but other than that it’s really great

For Samsung. Do not waist your time and money for this app it’s just not working

Great app, terrific one new UI. The previous UI was so much nicer. I also liked the fact that I had a large touchpad to work with. Yes the new UI is in line with the old style Samsung remotes. But other then being in sync with an ugly design, this was a step backwards. I also liked the previous option of being able to customize the buttons. Please bring back an option for the old UI and customization. Function-wise the app is still great. The main reason I use this. I’ve purchased both the versions and they have worked great with my TV’s.

Navigation. I downloaded it for the cursor movement on screen. It could be a lot better at moving. It’s really hard, but hopefully I’ll get used to it. The rest is awesome. Keyboard could sync a bit faster with the on screen input field.

CEO. Excellent, sync up was fast to my Samsung, even found my Roku TV. Make sure you upgrade to Pro version for the $3.99 cost, well worth it, performs flawlessly

Thank Y’all for This app. I broke my Samsung curve smart tv remote and the d pad on the back sucked to use to navigate the tv . Thanks to this app I can lay and relax again and still scroll through the TV and didn’t have to call the company, pay and order a new remote

Junky app full of ads. Don’t waste your time with this app as it won’t work most of time. They show annoying ads every 5 minutes, yes, every 5 minutes. Doesn’t detect my Samsung TV most of times. Ads stay for at least 3-5 seconds.

Crappy app. It takes for ever to load and connect. If I switch to another app and comes back then it reloads again and takes for ever to connect even though I am literally standing in front of the TV. It does not worth the money

Needs origins remote to connect app. Because the original remote is needed to connect this app to the TV repeatedly, it defeats the purpose. If you’ve lost your original remote, then, based on my experience, you can’t use this app, until you can authorize it to connect to the TV by approving it with the original remote. If you have the original remote, there’s no need for this remote.

This remote can not turn on a tv?. I purchased the pro app before realizing this app doesn’t have the ability to turn on a tv (It can only can turn it off). This is obviously the single most important feature of any remote control and should be more clearly noted in the download and advertising. Very close to being an exceptional product but this purchase left me feeling a little bit disappointed and dare I say misled. I contacted customer service to troubleshoot and would most defiantly update this review with 5 stars if resolved.

Works. Well it works well. I bought the full version but I really would like the option to add a sleep button. Can you please work o. That feature.

Not worth the money. Paid money for this app and it’s not worth it. Paid app doesn’t allow users to use the qwerty keyboard on my iPhone to search titles faster. I thought that’s what I was paying for. Highly disappointed.

Unusable - mostly due to ads. There do not appear to be directional arrows to select between "smart" apps. Left and right arrows only adjust the volume. Directional buttons might be hidden somewhere in this app, but I'm giving up looking after about 5 minutes because I'm interrupted every 15 seconds by a candy crush ad. How did this get more positive reviews than the other samsung remote apps?

Slow. Slow connection 2 my tv every time I pic my phone up.

Ok overall. Often unable to connect with the TV unless I reboot my phone just before I would like to use it. Once it does connect, it works as expected

A War Crime. Don’t even consider this. The greedy developer’s top priority is to assault you with sketchy ads, some that take you to malware sites and scams. This would be a very dangerous app for someone to run if they are susceptible to online ad scams and phishing. You cannot even evaluate the app without dealing with the onslaught of misleading ads. It’s like tying a string to a $20 bill and dragging it through a crack den. You know what you are going to get. The solution is to not go near apps that treat their would be customers like bait. Uninstalled.

Could be great if all functions worked again. Samsung Smarthub and touchpad Select functionality no longer work, as they did several IOS updates ago.

It had problems now not working. I had small issues before. After I updated the app now I can find my TV discovered. I can’t use it.

So happy!. Somehow misplaced the remote and I tried a few others that didn’t work at all! This paired directly to my tv, no effort. I did pay the $3.99 upgrade for the Pro version (offered in the app) but it gives me all the control of the initial remote on all the phones and iPads in the house. So it’s like having 4 remotes for $3.99.

It was fine until I bought it. Used the free version for almost 3 months with no persistent issues except the ads which don’t really qualify as an issue. HOWEVER, literally the second I buy it I start having serious connectivity issues. For some reason the app can’t stay connected to my tv for more than 9 seconds at a time. This is a huge problem, it makes scrolling through Netflix/Hulu/Prime/YouTube impossible!! I feel like I just paid $4 to be able to turn my tv off(cause you can’t turn it on btw).

Samsung review. Wish I could find the remote. This app is clunky compared to the actual remote. They should have just had the same layout instead of changing the layout

Connection. Each time trying to connect with same TV need confirmation from TV (you need TV original remote). This just defeats the purpose of the app.

Thumbs up. Have no idea why my tv remote stopped working but it did. The only button that worked on it was the power button. It wasn’t a huge problem since we use the fire stick but the need to change volume was a big thing. This works perfectly!!! The tv/remote brands app didn’t work at all!!!

Refund. You have to literally disconnect and start completely over each time to operate the remote. If you’re looking to hurry and watch tv, this is not the remote you should get. It doesn’t do what you pay it to do and that is UNFORTUNATE. If ever I felt a refund was necessary, this would be it.

Connects to TV but........ I am able to connect to my tv, but there’s no way for me to get to the control to actually use the remote. This app make me nervous having access to IP addresses and connecting to my television especially since I could not use the app.

Can’t turn tv on. The app won’t connect to the tv when it’s off. It also has to reconnect every single time your phone turns off, other than that the could be great.

Junk app. Hook line and sink; this app worked great, so I decided to support it and get the full app without ads. What a total waste of money. I wrote a email to the support line and of course, no response. I would like my money back. This remote app is garbage; stay far away folks.

Bull crap. I would give this a 4 star if I could have attempted trying this remote without being bombarded by literally 7 or more ads in less than 3 minutes. Every time I tried to use the arrows for typing on my tv keyboard an add would pop up within 10 second intervals exactly. It has a great layout. I love the arrows. It would be great if it had an actual keyboard on it. Also if the bloody ads would chill out long enough for me to decide if I want to keep it. Unfortunately I would rather go pay 30 bucks for another tv remote than pay the 3.99 for something I can’t properly check out. Sorry guys. What a bummer.

Awesome BUT. Its an amazing app automatically picked up my tv without any issues works better than the original controller.......BUT the adds are out of control!!!! I should not have to buy a simplistic app to use it without adds. I have a ton of games that do not throw out this many adds!! Id give a five star because this works amazingly but the adds are out of control

Buy it. I know everyone is always looking for a Free app to use. I personally couldn’t deal with the ads and I refuse to pay 80 for another remote. Soooo I bought the app and it works perfectly!

Garbage. Horrible , crazy thing is that the free version worked perfectly fine, as soon as you pay for the pro and remove the ads, it doesn’t work, and if the tv is turns off, the app doesn’t let you turn on the tv from the ap, wish I never paid for it. Don’t waist your money !!

No longer connects. Worked great as the free app, and then we upgraded to the full version when our Samsung remote got damaged. Worked for two days... and now it refuses to connect. It times out after half a second. How convenient... pay for the upgrade and all of a sudden doesn’t work. VERY disappointing.

This app has its purpose. While the app isn’t perfect, people who complain that they may as well use their TV remote, the advantage of you using your phone is when your TV remote doesn’t work. Occasionally my Samsung TV remote will turn the TV on & off but do nothing else. That’s where apps ***like*** this one are handy. It allows me to use my TV until my Samsung remote finished its hissy fit. While the app allows you to turn the TV off, I’m not sure you can use it to turn the TV on

Useless. Not recommended. The App needs to be on constantly for it to work. Anytime you do anything else on your phone the App disconnects and you need to either use your control to reconnect or walk tot the TV. Waste of time.

No feedback. Several times I’ve written to you and not once have I had a reply. What’s the point?

Disconnects from TV. When switching between apps on the phone, this app disconnects from the tv so when you switch back to the app it had to reconnect all over again. It means that making checking messages or using another app difficult to do unless you want to go through the reconnection and waiting for the so to come back up. Far far far quicker to use my actual remote control. There is no benefit in having this app. My amp app does better at starting connected to the device. Very poor.

Same as other poor Samsung tv apps. If you want a potential customer to buy the app then let them test it first in its entirety.

Was ok now it’s not. Zero support from Kraftwerk9. The app was working, but after update no longer discovers the device. Super frustrating after paying for the app post trial period. Don’t pay for it.

No longer works after short time in use.. Like the “no longer working” review. Paid for the app and it stopped working and won’t connect. Even removed and re-added... still won’t connect. Now free app says to upgrade for a certain number of models.

Terribly intrusive ads. Pop up video ads with intrusive sound while trying to use remote. Most important functionality (smart tv navigation) is disabled for free version, can’t even be tested in free version. Dark UX practices. Avoid.

Hopeless. Don’t waste your money. I downloaded this app on two devices. Each time you open the app a notification on the TV requires you to allow the app to work. The only way you can tick yes is by using another TV remote so you can press the OK button, which defeats the reason to have the app. I email the developer nearly two weeks ago, no reply.

Permission. It always asks me (every single time I connect) to allow my phone to connect the Remotie app which you have to do with the tv remote, well then I might as well use the tv remote instead of the app!!! I downloaded this app specifically for when my tv remote is misplaced (happens often in this house with kids) or not working and the app was working wonderfully but I don’t know what’s happened, maybe in the last update? It won’t let me connect without allowing it from the tv with the remote which I can’t find right now and that’s why I’m using the app. GRRRRRRR frustrating to say the least. One star!

It’s ridiculous. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It’s not worth the money. The creator also doesn’t answer their emails. So what’s the use in sending them feedback.

Pretty awesome but a bit slow. Love the feeling of being able to mess with the tv controls. Parents have no idea that I’m doing it. Main reason I got it really but other than that pretty cool to operate the tv from my phone.

What’s the point in that, still need the original remote to turn the TV on before you can use this app. Smart remote by Tinac is much better for my TV (Samsung Series7 UHD) I’ve deleted it, but I guess I’ll count in the numbers who have downloaded it.

Not the best. Room for improvement.. Keeps cutting out or not working. Sometimes you can only change the channel or volume but not turn the tv off. Feels like the 80s at our house, never walked to the tv so much.

Romotie and romotie2. Both cannot discover my samsung un series 2018 model pluse i spent $6 to update it so I could use the key pad its never worked and I never get a response when i send in feed back for help BEWARE Seems like a scam

Works good!. I have a 58" Samsung smart tv and this remote connected to my tv easily. It showed a pin on the screen and I just entered it into the app! Can control my tv easily from my phone. Works fantastically

Everyone has to purchase the upgrade separately to get the full use of the app. Not impressed. We are waiting to see if we get a response about that first before deleting it. 2. Second Review: DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. I changed my review to a 1 star from 2. It was working and now it won’t connect at all. Even with the paid upgrade version. It flashes then it spins searching. In a situation like this there should be an option to get your money back. BEWARE.

Ads. I get that free apps have ads but having an ad pop over the screen every button press makes it pretty tough to recommend. It does work though.

Five. It’s a great app, definitely worth the price. However I know it has to connect but it feels like it takes forever, almost if not always every single time you open the app even if you just close it. Amazing though.

Trackpad very poor. This app is pretty to look at but performs very poorly. Features the same as free alternatives. Trackpad is erratic and extremely frustrating to use. I went back to mytifi.

Worst remote ever.. Had high hopes for this when I bought it. Turned out to be the worst product ever. The number pad won’t work properly. Keeps skipping the middle number of three. The touch pad is totally useless.

Ads?. Yup, just imagine trying to hit the pause button and up pops a video advertisement. Quirky. Stops working for no reason. Pass on this free version.

Disconnects each time. I used to love this app, I even paid for the pro version, but now it disconnects every time a switch apps. So I have to reconnect using my tv remove each and every time I switch apps or sleep my screen.

Having to allow. If you leave the app, then go back to it, you need to reconnect it every time. By clicking allow by using the buttons on your TVs. Don’t buy.

Overlap in frames. The application overlap between frames, the buttons doesn't center and some may hide in sides. The in-app text behind box.

Useless. App is useless, full of apps and to use the keyboard you have to pay, be straight forward and don’t put it for free instead of making people download it and then say: Hey! The keyboard is worth $ 3. Not to mention all the ads.

Big Mistake!. I downloaded this app, and it worked fine. I paid for the ad free version, and it hasn’t worked right since. Now, I can’t even get it to recognize my tv, after just using it!

Ehh. Used for the longest with ads that popped up every minute and the second I actually buy it somehow it stopped connecting to my TV I paid $4 for it not to work.

Ads make the free version unusable. Normally I accept ads as part of a free version, but the ads make this app unusable. If they didn’t bombard me with the ads I would have probably brought the app.

App won’t go to main menu. Downloaded this app and it connected with my TV, but I can’t get the “remote” part to load on my phone to use.

latest update ruined the app - I want my money back!. I paid for this app, it cannot even do landscape mode on an iPad. Also the UI is ruined now. It used to work on my new Samsung 7 TV, now it does not expand to use the entire screen. Good app, gone bad!
