Easily the best free iphone VPN. Been using for three years, mainly to get past the restrictions on my school’s wifi, and it is great. Stays pretty fast and consistent after using it for many hours every day. Occasionally it will turn itself off, but for a free vpn with seemingly no data cap, that’s not a big deal. There is absolutely no catch, and no premium service that they try to sell you (I think you can pay to choose what country server to use and also get faster speeds maybe, but it’s not thrown in your face every time you open the app). If you want a vpn but don’t want to pay, get x-vpn.

Good but.. it broke?. I’ve had this app for about a year, really just for the use of bypassing my school’s stupid restrictions on my phone. It worked really well and it was super fast, and I never had problems with apps/websites breaking.. until now. I’ve looked at all the solutions but none of them seem to work. I’ve even connected to Protocol D after none of the other Protocols were working. This has been happening for the past few days. I’m not sure if it’s a WiFi problem, or the vpn itself, but the WiFi works perfectly fine. I’m not sure if there is a permanent solution to this, or I’m just using this app incorrectly (even though it’s simple). Other than that, great app! I would 100% recommend it to anyone who has restrictions at their workplace/school. Props to you, devs!

Five stars for being very good at hiding my location!. I would give it five stars but when I had it last year it was totally free but now you have to pay for premium features. I have been using vpn’s for 6 years now and the vpn I was using two days ago showed my actual address when I googled What’s my IP address. When I typed What’s my IP address after downloading this it actually worked and hid my location and showed the connection I was connected to. If I’m wrong about saying this was free last year because I have the wrong app name let me know and I’ll change this to five stars.

Hackers buzz off!. This is day one, so I gave you four stars just for the relief you have given , I will give a new review in a month. I have lost so much money, stimulus’, refunds of any type, $2600 on a card I did not request, I had my passwords and pins changed, so I cannot get into my accounts, The list goes on. I can’t wait to look at my new dodge Durango that I did not purchase yet the list goes on. my credit went from 797 to 300points so far. I have tried real hard to find the culprits… It was my apartment managers, and I turned them into the inspector general,Tucson, police department, and no news, no arrests.

It's so convenient!. My school has a internet blocking service that prohibits the use of any website unless if the website is on a white list; VPN can bypass this. I absolutely appreciate how it's completely free, and has no time limit, or even have any advertisements. You are doing a huge service for the students of multiple schools across the country, and probably to many adults ad well. Though you probably don't make a profit, I may allocate money to purchase and sustain a premium account. Thank you for your time and service.

Used to work but now it doesn’t. First of all this VPN worked so good for me for a couple of months. No issues. Absolutely loved it. Then for some reason one day it stopped working. It wouldn’t connect (school btw) and I know it’s not the school blocking it because it works for everyone else at my school and very rarely it will work just fine, connect fast. The next day, it doesn’t work. It’s been like this for a month, I hoped there would be an update but so far no update has solved the issue. I’m not sure if it’s just me because I’m school no one has the same issue as me. I redownloaded the app 10 times and nothing seems to work besides restarting my whole phone, and that works half the time. So please help me with this issue please.

Overall pretty good. It gets the job done but limits the time for it being connected. The VPN disconnects after around 30 minutes of use. You’re simply able to reconnect it by either getting nothing and it just connecting or getting a 5-30 second ad and then connecting. Sometimes it’ll have struggles with connecting but that is not very often. However, if the reconnecting get annoying you’re able to purchase an unlimited version for around $9.99 a month I believe. Personally I’ve opted to not purchase that and just deal with the reconnecting constantly. Overall, one of the best VPNs out of the many I’ve tried for the free usage you get out of it. I’ve been using this for around 2 years and have tried others. The others only let you only use it for around 20 minutes a day otherwise you’ve got to pay an absurd fee.

Best VPN I’ve Found!!. At school, our administrators have literally everything blocked that we use to communicate except regular text messaging, and even then 90% of building has no service. I was sitting in class one day and none of my messages (to people I needed to communicate with, parents, people I give rides to, etc.) were sending. My friend told me to download this one. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never found a good VPN and I’ve tried since freshman year and now I’m a senior, but this has been the only VPN I’ve ever found to consistently work! I’d give it a 4.5 star rating just because there’s always improvements that can be made, but you can’t do halves here.

App. I HATE this vpn. At first when I started using it it worked, but after several months it started to go downhill. It started to be unstable. Like I would have to constantly turn it off and on every time I connected to Wi-Fi because I wouldn’t work. To make it even worse, this app is the the problem when ever my Wi-Fi is going slow. For example, I would be on social media or watching a movie on my cellular device and it would take forever to load or not load at all but when I went into settings and turn this vpn off while still being connected to wifi it started working again. Like I expected this vpn to stop things like that from happening not be be cause of it. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS VPN. ZERO STARS

Re-activated subscription w/I permission. Scum!. I used paid version of this app within a week due to internet lockout in Belarus that followed straight after president election. After this period I was continuously trying to unsubscribe but neither through the app nor via their website i wasn’t able to do that. Only two months after their support helped me to do that, but I want to admit that it possible to cancel only with their help on their side. I didn’t delete the app and occasionally tried to use it on my phone when internet was off and just on the same day I got billed even though that I didn’t approve any payment or any re-subscription options. They just used my card data and re-subscribe me using my card. The app is ok, but the service and attitude to the personal data is awful. If you return my money and unsubscribe me I’ll think about changing my review. You have two days otherwise I’ll report to the police and to the bank as it’s some kind of fraud. Pavel K

Proxy feature is not working properly. Hi, This app is almost great, but although I have bought premium account for this app, one key feature for me which is sharing the vpn to consoles only works as long as I keep my phone screen turned on and remain on xvpn app! Considering the use of mobile phones, it is so frustrating that I cannot even switch between apps while using the proxy feature unless I want my console’s internet get disconnected and interrupted. I have already asked the support a couple of times about few months ago to look into this issue, they told me it is forwarded to senior developers but nothing happened really after receiving so many updates since then. An app called “fair vpn”, with a UI so simple and much smaller download size, can easily do this feature and share the vpn within home network and works like a charm, it does not get disconnected when u minimize the app at all! I believe it is not a hard fix for a support team who do really care for their customer satisfaction.

Good... most of the time.. I’ve been able to connect with all kinds of things past school restrictions, like discord when I needed to tell my friends or my brother something. And it’s been really useful! Until now that is. Both me and a friend I recommended this to can say that the vpn has been extremely buggy; sending us to a severely unstable protocol G constantly even when we try to connect to protocol D, which is the protocol I have to use most of the time due to the other protocols being weak or too distant to be compatible with my service. This has been happening for the past few days, but otherwise it was perfectly fine. Has anyone else been going through this kind of problem?

Runs out too fast.. I would’ve given it 5 stars but I can’t. X-VPN used to be the best VPN on IOS, until lately. I can’t even finish a 42 min episode at school without the VPN turning itself off every 5 or 10 minutes, it’s very annoying. There are some times where it lasts over 2 hours and that’s good and all but at least make it so it automatically turns off after an hour. I know unlimited VPN time is part of the premium but that’s now what I’m asking. I’m asking for longer lasting VPN so I won’t have to be turning it back on every 10 minutes when I’m watching my show. Other than that X-VPN is pretty good.

Not Great For Gaming Needs More Work For Gaming. ok this app is cool but im having an issue where im playing pubg and my game stops working and apparently the app wont stay connected to the internet so when im playing pubg mobile the server was not working i tried a couple protocols and i couldn’t get my game to stop disconnecting my game was connected but for some reason my controls were not working so i turned the vpn off and it turnes out it was the fricking VPN so i highly not recommend this app if you want better ping but this was the only vpn app i could find plus i dont know which vpn protocol is good for fast internet and low ping someone please tell me and if it works ill change my review and rate 5 stars

Free version is now practically useless. As an ‘incentive’ for users to pay for this app, the free version deliberately and regularly disconnects from the VPN without warning, leaving the user totally exposed so making it practically useless! Opening the app, users are then greeted with a message encouraging them to upgrade to the premium, pay-to-use version. To deliberately not have a warning before it disconnects from the VPN while leaving you STILL connected to the internet (instead of auto kill), is appallingly bad customer relations and a possible ominous indicator for those who decide to pay for this app. If fact, almost all of what used to be free has now been moved to the premium version, even the auto kill option, which seems particularly unnecessary and mean. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next update further limits it to a short free trial period. Use the ‘free’ version at your own risk!

Amazing free VPN. Exorbitant amount of ads.. Let me make something clear before I get into this review: The VPN side of this application is awesome! Fast, reliable, and most importantly, can be used for free! This is so far the best free VPN I've found, and because I use it so much I'm leaving this review in hopes the developers see it in order to make the app even better. Anyways, the main point of this review is the amount of ads in this app is absolutely ludicrous. I can't click a single thing without an ad popping up, and i'n NOT EXAGGERATING. Let me put it this way: The amount of ads in this one application alone is SO IMMENSE that I am unable to even TURN THE VPN OFF without having to watch at least one 30 second add. Do you wanna change a setting? BOOM, 30 second add. Do you wanna use a menu? BOOM, 30 second add. Do you wanna USE THE VPN? BOOM, 30 second add! It's just absolutely preposterous. Of course free services need ads, but this many? My god. The way I see it, adds or not, an app should at least be USEABLE when it comes to pop-ups and advertisements. And right now this is simply not the case. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the VPN but the app extracts part of my soul and personality every day that I have to use it. So developers, if you're seeing this, PLEASE LOWER THE AMOUNT OF ADS! I understand you need to make money but I should at least be able to use the app in a normal way! Anyways, my rant is over and thank you to anybody who's read this.

Not bad but not good at the same time…. I recently got this app simply bcs my other apps haven’t been working (skyvpn & hotspot shield). It takes entirely too long to connect nd on top of that it disconnects every 25-30 mins…i don’t mind that it does that especially for a free app but my problem is when I try to get on apps like Snapchat or insta it doesn’t work regardless if I’m connected or not. Yes it’s good to be on safari/google but if ur a student like me be ur school blocks internet it’s very bad. Even when I try to watch shows on zeus or Netflix it pauses nd buffers for a while before playing again. Like it’s not even stop nd play for 30 mins it’s like every 5-10 mins it stops buffers and play again. It’s really annoying if you ask me… 🤷🏾‍♂️

Great and fast VPN. It’s a great VPN for using when having trouble with secure connections and bad wi-fi it’s the only VPN I use and I say it’s great I regret not using this before when I had the same trouble with the internet connection I just started using it for a week and it’s working great as always I recommend this VPN because of how stable it is and how fast it makes apps works better and easier for everybody I used it with ads because it’s better and free but if you want no adds than you can have a free trail then you subscribe or you can have premium which is also great I hope you understand that this VPN will help with bad connections.

X-VPN, the ‘Free’ VPN. X-VPN used to be the best VPN around. It was fast, secure, mostly free to use, and no ads. With the latest updates pushed to X-VPN, it added ads, locked down the amount of free servers (like Salt Lake City, Utah, Denver Colorado, etc.). 1. Fast Free Servers: Earlier in the life of X-VPN, the Free servers were very fast. They were great to use on free WiFi networks, school networks, and to just secure your data all around. Now it takes about 1-5 minutes to connect to a server. As opposed to the less than a minute connect time earlier. 2. Ads: in the older version, there were no ads whenever you would connect to a server, and there shouldn’t be ads now. The ads just make it likely for a user to find a new vpn. 3. Pay to use: Not only have they locked down the mobile apps, but the Chrome Webstore extension too. It used to let you connect to free servers for free. Now, you have to pay to use the entire extension. So, if an X-VPN developer is reading this, please make the VPN free. Your reputation was really good, now when you say you’re a completely free VPN, rethink what you’re saying. If you want to keep some of your original user base, make it free, like it used to be.

Renews 3 days before “renew” date. On the app, it said my account “Renews” on Nov. 18th. Lo and behold, on the 16th, I get a receipt and am charged for the next month. Meaning you had to cancel by the 15th. Emailed them right after and have heard zip since despite them getting back w/in hours in previous support requests. Borderline fraud, and will not only dispute with CC company but file complaints with FTC and California AG if not resolved. Besides that, have been having a lot more connection issues that a month ago when first signed up. 404 errors, failed to reload, captcha, smtp failures, etc. Plus sometimes really slow that only reconnecting ameliorates. At least half a dozen times per day now. On sites that few other VPNs have issues with. Plus, you can’t send any emails using the Mail app on iPhone, an issue i haven’t seen on any of the dozens of VPNs I’ve tried. And their privacy notice when signing up is the same as any standard company, which very few other VPNs have too, don’t trust them with logs. But borderline fraud when it comes to billing is what makes this not worthy to be trusted

Lag in the app itself. Usually when you click anything inside the app too quickly right after opening it, it just freezes. It was the last straw when this happened while I was trying to disconnect cause it was not working for a certain website at all and I ended up trying to shut off the vpn connection using the iPhone settings instead and it just froze my whole phone. I wasn’t gonna wait for that nonsense so I just force rebooted. A common issue that actually has to do with the vpn connection itself though, is that sometimes there isn’t even any connection at all, no matter how much I reconnect. This is immediately fixed by disconnecting, turning off the app completely, then opening it again and connecting. Pretty annoying considering the other freezing issue you might run into.

Hacked!. This VPN worked for a good amount of time, months and years its been, but recently I have discovered that this VPN gave a malware to my iPad. My iPad was glitching all over the place, and I know that it came from X-VPN because when I deleted it the malware stopped. I have many concerns if other users may be experiencing this but don’t know what it came from. Either if this was intentional, or a bug, it needs to be fixed. I deleted everything I had that was aside from school work, so I am pretty sure that it came from the VPN software. Hopefully this never happens again and until it’s safe again I will use a VPN, just not certain if I can use this one again. If I am wrong please give a dev response, just from my knowledge and observations that this system caused the malware on my iPad, which ruined my educational learning and wherever I went when I needed it the most.

Actually Legit. I neverdo reviews but since I always benefit from scouring thru app reviews from those of you who take the time to comment, I’m paying it forward. I would recommend this app. For starters, it doesn’t drain your battery so it’s kind of a no-brainer, given the App is free. Plus, the only time you have to watch a 12-sec Ad is while VPN finds a ‘Protocol’ (protocol is a term for the various internet towers VPN sources any connection from). You have nothing to lose and something to gain from it, which is rarely the case with ‘Free’ apps. Does it require occasional trips to the app? Not really, unless you (for example) go thru a tunnel or commute to a location several towns over. It’s entirely safe—VPN’s whole schtick is privacy—in which case your identity, location, personal data is invisible to hackers. Plus, a new, auto-generated IP address is assigned to your phone each time you visit the app. Why? So that nothing gets traced back to you. And don’t worry, this isn’t some illegal piracy or anything like that. Gone are the dreaded times when an important text or call goes undelivered! Now, if I’m in a dead zone with one bar, or data roaming is nowhere to be found, I have access to an infinite amount of Protocols. Who knew one might safely access a connection both domestically and/or overseas? Hopefully my explanation helped clarify rather than confuse you.

Changed My Plan. The vpn itself is good, but if you want to pay for premium watch out. I set it up for paying monthly because I only wanted it for a couple months, but for some reason they switched it to a yearly rate and charged me $70. I never wanted a yearly subscription and specifically asked for a monthly when I started the subscription, but somehow it got changed. When I went to manage my subscriptions a couple months ago when the new month was about to begin, I noticed it had changed to a yearly rate but hadn’t billed me yet for it, so I changed it back to the monthly that I wanted. Now I wanted to cancel it recently because I no longer needed it, but I had again been changed to the yearly plan and I had been charged $70 for the year. So I have about a year left with something I don’t need.

Great vpn but has one problem. This vpn is legit and completely free. I’ve been using it for a while to play games while I’m at school and it’s fine, but there is one problem. For example, if your trying to play roblox and one of the servers doesn’t work, it will constantly connect you to that server and no other. I think this app would greatly benefit from having a few servers that you can choose from instead of connecting to a random one that usually doesn’t even work.

Do not trust!. This app is dangerous. When opening the app they make you agree to their terms, in these terms you will see that they gain access to extremely private information (credit cards, passwords, etc...). This was the first red flag. After using it for a while I saw that my credit card number was stolen, and was being used from across the country. This was the second red flag, but I passed it off as a coincidence. I deleted the app, but re-downloaded it about a month later after I convinced myself that the app had no correlation with the credit card theft. I turned on the vpn, and later in the day I changed the password to my twitter account. About 2 hours later I receive an email that says my twitter account has been signed into from all the way across the country. I now know that the hacking is not a coincidence, but the vpn company is responsible. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

X-vpn in Iran. The app is great but imagine living in Iran where every social media is blocked(Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp .etc) and the only VPN that actually works is X-VPN. The only problem is due to the many sanctions we’re facing in Iran, we just can’t purchase anything outside of Iran and in US dollars :) So you see … We’re stuck here with a limited VPN that stays connected for less than a minute and for watching each Instagram story I have to reconnect the vpn :) The 1 minute limitation is literally killing me inside. Please fix that. It’s already suffocating enough to live in Iran :( Please don’t make it harder for us and stay by our side while we’re fighting for revolution 🤍

Useless. Just another VPN saying they do all the right things to get you to sign for a year, becoming your ISP basically. This particular VPN app did not last three hours. The first time I checked to see if they were actually hiding my IP address, it wasn’t even on. Took it upon itself to disconnect without even giving me any kind of warning or notification. So, out of all the VPN”s I’ve tried to use for protection have been anything but! Don’t fall for it. They are made for bad people to carry out maltious behavior towards your device. I have now proved my theory true, don’t go thru what I currently am. Save your money and take your chances with your regular ISP. Unless your in a communist type country! I would give no stars if were possible!

Amazing. Okay listen so I usually never write reviews, matter of fact this is my first one. But for teens or kids who don’t have data on their phone and they want to use the school WiFi but it blocks everything like mine, this is the perfect app. My school is very strict on electronics and this allowed me to get onto Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and multiple other apps while u was connected to my schools WiFi. If I was able to give this a true rating I would say 4.5 because u have to change the protocols in order to get the things unblocked if the default one doesn’t work. It took me a while to understand how the protocols worked but as soon as I did I was amazed. Again for kids and teens like me who don’t have phone service or data, this is the perfect app for you.

Connects sometimes. X-VPN seems to connect when it wants to (more consistent when using cell reception than WiFi, especially traveling from public WiFi; ie from Walmart to Starbucks to Target then to Sam’s Club & various restaurants that have open WiFi for patrons). The X-VPN does NOT have any sort of alert/notice/notification/push that lets one know if isn’t working/has disconnected; therefore, one has to constantly check. 3-Stars because it when it works- it works! Also 3-stars because of the reasons listed above. I’d consider & probably upgrade to “Premium” but there’s not a way to find out if previously mentioned actions would be illuminated … until then, I’ll just wait & see but probably go ahead and purchase a VPN without said issues as I NEED it for my line of work (can’t have nosey-nellies(or nicks) able to view sensitive information (HIPPA, Insurance, trade secrets, etc.). You’ve been warned!

Connecting is good, updates are not. Last few updates, free members were able to pick more options in the servers as did the premium members. Not that free members had exclusive servers though lol. After the updates for the kill switch, locking down all the regions to only premium, and removing the reward options, what are you trying to accomplish? I respect the ad update, since I don’t have the ability to online purchase, but is ad revenue not enough? Tl;dr ad update is good enough, premium members literally outweigh free members (that’s a given since people who pay get better service). At least keep the regions unlocked for free members and a separate for premium.

Initially worked good. Not so much now. Right off the bat this vpn worked great. But as I used it problems began to occur. It frequently disconnects then when I try to reconnect it connects to different servers that don’t work. If I can get to Chicago server things are usually fine. But once I drop from there it usually reconnects me to Toronto which is useless. It tells me I have no internet connection with every app I try. New York and San Francisco servers are the same. So in order for this to work I have to disconnect and reconnect until I get to Chicago server. If that doesn’t work after ten tries I delete the app and reinstall it. Sometimes that helps. This app is a real pain but so are all the free ones I’ve tried n

Lack of Support. I was getting a notification in the app that a promotional offer is available for 6 months; so at the end of my usual monthly subscription، I opted for the promo offer. One day later I noticed that my Apple account has been charged once again and by going through my subscriptions, I understood that I’m having double subscription with the app. So I contacted the support team and I was told to cancel the usual subscription and submit a refund request to Apple which I did; but then I noticed that my promo offer was also revoked and when I asked them to re-issue this once again for me, they said it’s not possible. Obviously the double subscription issue was caused from their side but now they refuse to cooperate to fully resolve it.

New update ruined the purpose. I use this vpn frequently to bypass my school’s block system (since it’s really stupid to block things) but ever since the most recent update, I have been restricted to using only the “Free server” even though before I was able to connect to any specific server or country such as Canada and it would give me a fast and unblocked connection through my school. Now everything is on a “premium” scam and it’s MUCH more harder to connect. This app used to be amazing with its multiple features but unless you pay, you’re stuck with one server that barely even connects unless you’re lucky to have a fast connection at school. Disappointed, this is a really scummy move to pull off. Deleted. DO NOT INSTALL THIS IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE VPN.

Amazing, but one issue. When it is working it helps me at school a ton. Sometimes when I connect to the VPN though, it takes makes off of the wifi and has me connected on the vpn through cell service instead of wifi and the cell service inside of school is awful. If a developer could respond to this review and explain this problem I would be happy to hear the reason for this issue. Otherwise, amazing app and the only vpn that has ever worked for me.

New update Ruined it. I have had this app for a while. It was great. My school blocks things like Snapchat, instagram, the App Store, pretty much any social media if you are on their WiFi. Its not a very slow Network, it’s not the best but it’s not something that would get in the way of connections to any of X-VPN’s servers, at least not before the update. Before the update there was no problem connecting to the free USA server or “The fastest Server” but since the new update, you need to have a fast network and an outstanding connection to connect to any free server. My house has amazing WiFi and that’s the only place I can really connect to the servers. I don’t know what changed since the update summary didn’t say anything about this problem, but please change it back.

Good for a long time, till it broke.. So I’ve been using this vpn for almost 2 years now for school cause of the restrictions and it worked perfectly fine! I loved it so much that I recommended it to all of my friends and even they loved it too! It’s been working fine until maybe 2 or 3 months ago when I noticed it would stop and then not connect on any of the servers (even protocol E and D). Then maybe an hour and a half ago I noticed it wouldn’t connect at all and it still won’t an hour later! It’s like it has an expiration date or something! I’ve also noticed that I can’t use ANY of my apps without this VPN anymore! Idk what happened! I’m kinda screwed if I don’t get a different vpn soon! I recommend this vpn but just be aware that after about a year it’ll stop working!

Used to be great. This was recommended by a colleague and I used to love this app for the fast connection and how it stayed on quietly in the background without killing my battery. But as of maybe a few months ago, it is hard to use with all the ad pop ups. If you need to turn it on or off quickly you can’t without sitting through a 20 second add and clicking the x then 5 more seconds of an ad, then clicking the x again. Not to mention the ads are LOUD so if you were trying to be discreet or use this at work, keep that in mind as the commercials and games will draw attention from everyone in the room. The only reason I’m taking the time to write this is because I am on the App Store looking for an alternative and will be removing this one from my devices. I hope it improves and works better for whomever is reading this in the future.

Really x vpn. Before this update the US servers and the other countries were free to connect to. Now after this update everything turned to premium including the PlayStation proxy servers and the only thing that’s left free is the fastest server option with out premium now after this update everything turn to premium including the PlayStation proxy servers. In this new update basically killed X-VPN it’s kind of annoying because you really don’t use it A lot. And probably most the people that install this app don’t have any payment methods to get the premium, because it’s mostly children downloading this to not get Ddos on Play station by using a proxy server options that “USED” to be free. That was the only reason why i download this app just to get the proxy server on PlayStation to be safe from a Ddos attack or ip attack. Currently I do not recommend installing the app because you’re really limited on what you can do without premium, no what I mean about it is you can only connect to one server and that’s all it. So save your time and go download another VPN app that has a lot of features that are not locked behind a pay wall.

Absolutely worth it. I use this app for school since school Wi-Fi never works with just Wi-Fi. It has worked for me throughout the year and I’m in love!! You do have to keep turning it in throughout the day if you don’t have the unlimited but it’s still totally worth it. I’ve noticed that it only works with school Wi-Fi. Any other public Wi-Fi it doesn’t work or for me at least. The adds the pop up after do get kind of annoying but you can easily skip them by getting closing the app so next time you have to turn it on, the add won’t pop up until after you turn it back on. But overall the app it totally worth the download and it’s very easy to use

Its good but need warning. I play games during my free time on my phone and when my wifi is trash ill use vpn and it fixes the problem but the problem here is that if i turn off my vpn it just makes me leave an online game. The problem here is that within a certain time frame the vpn just turns itself off without warning and when you go to the vpn app it just says upgrade to premium for unlimited amounts of time or something similar i dont mind this but it would be great to have some sort of warning feature that lets you know how much time left. Ex: a notification saying you have five minutes left of free vpn time or something. Thanks and please add this.

Waste of money and time: zero value!!!. This application simply DOES NOT WORK! And the developers are totally unable to solve the issue after four weeks from the first complaint. The connection with several servers around the world is not effective and many applications do not work because of that. Any possible suggestion to bypass the problem from the so called support chat is totally and completely useless: they tried to repeat over and over again the same possible solutions, without any attention to my reports. Only possible answer I got is “we will forward this information to the technical team and they will further look into this issue for you”. FOUR WEEKS AGO... AND THEY ARE STIL LOOKING.... shame on you!!!! NOW THE WEEKS BECAME 7 OR 8 and still no answer!!! These guys are totally USELESS !!!

Used to be 5 stars…. I used this app all the time because my school blocks literally everything. However, a recent update was made and now the app is ad central… I can’t connect or disconnect from the VPN or change settings anymore since there are 30 second ads everywhere! I understand free apps need to make money somehow, and ads are one way. But why didn’t I have a problem with them before? Well, there were significantly less and they only played AFTER (not before) you connected to/disconnected from the VPN! Please go back to that, my experience with the app is rather unpleasant now.

The kind of app to make sure it annoys you. I know they're trying to make money, but wow. This was my favorite free vpn, hence its simplicity, until they decided to make it impossible to activate it through the phone's settings menu. Can't let free-customers have that simplicity, can you? Now I've got to stare at the artificially slow connection bar all the way around the power button, pretending it's actually trying that hard. I suppose it gets the job done? When it isn't randomly disconnecting without warning? Or when it isn't quietly swapping off from the protocol I've selected 90 times? Again, it's free software. But I wouldn't pay a dime for its premium membership given these circumstances.

X-VPN is a security threat. Nothing private about x-vpn. It is operated by CHIna based IT support.. not only does it not provide security, it actually is a security risk. While using it I was continually slammed with malicious back door, scripts. I know this because AT&T active armor notified me and stopped them. When I uninstall X-VPN, the malicious attacks suddenly disappear. This tells me all I need to know about X-VPN it’s garbage and the people running it are really breaking the law when they put tracking scripts on you. The other thing they did was make sure that their Killswitch doesn’t even work. It’s an absolute scam. The kill switch is supposed to disconnect from the Internet, but it doesn’t even work. To my knowledge it never worked and they continue to advertise a Killswitch I have used X-VPN for years and I know what I’m talking about. The only reason I didn’t cancel sooner is because I didn’t realize what was going on with the malicious scripts until lAT&T produced the ActiveArmor scanner.

this app keeps disconnecting my wifi. So you know how when your at school or at a restaurant or at the store and everything is blocked on the wifi your using. So basically i have been using the this vpn app for a while now and anytime i have this on this is the only vpn app that turns off my internet without me turning it off at all.I can’t access social media apps, safari, games. Absolutely none of that i asked how to fixed the problem on the app but they would just tell me the same to connect to the same servers that didn’t work the first time i don’t understand why that the reviews says its legit but when i’m using it i can never watch or do anything

Decent.. It’s an okay VPN. Works most of the time. Will continuously disconnect causing you to have to reopen the app and connect again, this is intentional i’m pretty sure, but it’s still annoying. The times vary as well, i’d rather it be a consistent time frame than randomly. The app has ads which i don’t mind, except some of them force you to restart because it does not give you the option to close ad. So you have to restart the connection. It’s okay. There are better free VPNS out there, i will say that this one excels in connection. Whenever I’m in a place where wifi isn’t strong, the app does help, but everything else is very annoying to deal with.

Very good as far as I know. I used to have a premium account with express Vpn, I regret it… Not only because it was expensive but also because only difference between them is one can not choose the city or country on this one unless you get premium but I can at least use all the other features if I choose to and not obligated to pay in order to do so , so yes this one’s better, and no adds what even better.

Pretty good!. It’s great. At my school, social media apps are blocked when you connect to the school’s wifi so I use this to connect to wifi and still be able to use my apps without using data. That being said, I feel like this app drains my battery. I notice when I use my data it’s fine, but when I turn this on, even in power saving mode, it goes quickly. I guess it’s a pretty fair trade though. So other than that minor thing, I’d recommend this VPN. The battery issue isn’t such a big deal when you can just plug in your phone. Try it out for yourself!

Free version review. I have been using the free version of X-VPN for about three years now and it has been working pretty well for me. I’m not sure what benefits I would get by upgrading but it’s been working just fine so far. It works at my school which has tried to block vpn’s. The different protocols I think are the best feature. Pretty good.

Australian here, and wondering something.... App keeps flashing from connecting to connected rapidly? And I don’t know why. Can’t see any difference between this and other brands. Seems to work perfectly with one exception, it constantly forgets premium status and have to restore purchases constantly. On the windows desktop version it is very hard to restore purchase

Finally a good VPN that actually works :). I live in Australia but whilst I was on holidays in Canada a few months ago I started watching Supernatural on Netflix. I came back to Australia only to find it wasn’t on Australian Netflix. Can finally watch it again. Actually Good VPN!. I live in Australia, and run a Meme account on Instagram (clean_meme_dealer) and I like to check on my account and post stuff at school. Before I found this none of the VPNs I got worked, but I decided to get this one and now I can use Instagram at school!

Forget this app for Australian content. This VPN app is absolute garbage. Downloaded it while overseas to keep up with Australian events and was not able to access any content and when it did connect no more than once. The final straw was the time waiting for the VPN to connect and then once connected it dropping out within 2 seconds and needing to reconnect. I even paid for the premium package. Spend your money elsewhere.

Connectivity Issues. I have been using X-VPN for about 1 year now, I’ve never had and issue with this VPN. But as soon as I upgrade to IOS 12 the von won’t connect anymore, keeps saying error failed to connect. I love this app but please fix this issue. 😀

Awesome even though it really make your internet slow down. I really liked this app but for some reason my home wifi started cutting out and it was only on my devices that had the VPN. The good thing is that this VPN need no subscription at all even though some of the stuff is locked behind a premium mode, like seriously I need a premium mode just to check if my ip was leaked like what. This app helps stop spam bots though that good. But I’m still great full not to get spam bots saying I’ve won gift card. So thank for making a free VPN

Pretty annoyed.. I’ve been using X-VPN for over three years now. It’s really annoying now how it doesn’t connect no matter what protocol I used. This is a pretty new issue that has come up and I rely on this VPN daily. A lot of recent reviews have come up with this issue as well. Please try and fix the issue as soon as possible.

not good anymore.... i live in Australia. this is the only vpn app that has worked for me so far (that is free) and i loved it. Now it’s changed, my vpn does not connect anymore and it says something about my vpn usage time being expired and to reconnect or upgrade to premium? I’m unable to connect to vpn anymore unless i get premium. For a better review, please change it back to the free servers like how it was before.

A bug with the new IOS version. So,yesterday, I had downloaded the newest version of IOS (13.1.3). For some reason, it is entirely broken now. When I start it up, it crashes in less than 2 seconds and have tried redownloading, restarting my phone (iphone 6s), deleting and reinstalling the vpn in my settings. I have checked with my other friend who has an iphone xs, my other friend who has an samsung tablet and a couple of other people. It seems that I am the only person who has this bug so pls fix <3

A 6 stars rating if with Apple TV support. I’m a travelling Aussie, although relevant I felt compelled to open with that statement (we obviously like to leave reviews!). I have used other VPN which have not been as stable nor retained the speed of X-VPN. I use the VPN for work and pleasure and would highly recommend the purchase of this app. I am a Premium For All subscriber and would love a designated DNS Australian server I could setup on all my devises but in particular the Apple TV. If this was available it would out do all other apps by far. It seems that you have a strong Australian base of subscribers to warrant this service. If this is already available and I have missed something please ignore my comments and point me in the right direction. If it was therefore accessible with the same functionality provided for PlayStation users, even better as I am a Mac devotee and like this user friendly 😊

New update has broken it. I’m in Australia and until the most recent update this was the only VPN that would work. Now when I try to connect to any of the free servers it says that it can’t connect to any of them and I should get premium. I don’t want premium, I just need a reliable free VPN, which this was until the last update.

Required apps cannot be accessed as they should be with ur VPN.. This app was useful and worked in every way, now I’m not so sure it works anymore as it won’t let me access a lot of apps on my school wifi, sometimes we use social media apps in class asked by the teacher for education and this app helped get pass the block of social media apps etc. please do something to allow for this app to unblock other games/apps on the wifi’s that block them. (Fix this app to work)

Beyond expectation. Well, as NONE of the VPN apps worked for me living in Dubai. This was the one!! I use this because I’m staying in a hotel for 2 weeks and network is unsecured as it’s shared by everyone. X-VPN makes me feel safe browsing the internet anonymously. Best VPN app out there it actually unblocks sites unlike the other ones anyway my review was to tell the developer that the latest update seems like t destroyed the app. When launched it crashes??? The app tells up to 5 devices but so annoying is you have to disconnect from phone and restore purchase iPad when you go back to phone you have to restore back to phone then when you grab the iPad you have to restore purchase on iPad then you can’t use it on your phone you have to restore purchase again and this their premium service

It ruins your phone. It works for a while but then it starts to ruin the wifi connection for your phone meaning you have to stand right next to the wifi to be able to connect and use it properly. I would recommend it for a short use but not for every day connection.

Works well. It’s a good app, been using it for a while and hasn’t not done its job I did notice how it just disconnects after some time and how people don’t like it however I think it’s great because having it on uses lots of battery it stops that problem by automatically turning off, only negative thing is the constant add pop up to subscribe other then that all good.

Great. Allows me to use anything blocked by my school wifi and is the only on that works and is free. Only problem is when I try to use the PlayStation app or PlayStation messaging app they not seem to recognise a wifi connection so I have to turn it off and use data but other than that it’s the best so far and I think it’s fair that it only works for 200mb at a time cause it’s free I’d rather turn it off and on again then to pay for other ones that are probably not as good. Getting worse and worse. You have to pay for features on this app that 6 months - a year ago were free.. other servers, no bandwidth limits, choose and protocol, unlimited devices and many more. It’s sad to see this app deteriorate from what was something great that I’d use daily. Please think about what you’re doing to the people that don’t have the money to spend on premium features that use to be free..

I’m confused. I’ve been using this VPN for almost 10 months and have had no issues no problems have occurred 🤷‍♀️. I use it to watch Netflix shows that don’t appear in Australia so I turn the VPN on to Canada (or America) and the wifi thinks I’m in Canada.

Finally a VPN that is everything it says it is without deceitful catches. I’m an Aussie (irrelevant) and I have downloaded and trialled countless, probably close to 50 VPN apps and also software not associated with the “fruit” device I’m currently typing on. This is the only VPN where both the connection and speed is exactly how it is marketed by the app provider. Touch wood, to this day I have not had one issue/ service cut out and regular browsing speed is only about 2 tenths of an increment slower than what you would normally experience without the added protection of this VPN application. Download with confidence.

The VPN on the App Store. Used this everyday when I was at school to be able to access sites and apps that were banned on the school WiFi. I didn’t pay for premium and it never one failed me. Highly recommend

It won’t work anymore. It was going great on my iPhone 8 until the phone broke. So I tried to download it on my iPad and every time I opened the app it crashed immediately. So I then decided to get and iPhone 6 and then when I opened the app it crashed. Please fix this, this app was the only VPN that ever worked. No others work.

It’s ok just a few downsides. It can be fast, but it also drops out every now. You need an account. I’ve cancelled my trial. See my previous review (below) and add the fact that it’s very slow. === old review === I already use another VPN but decided to give this a go. The app seems OK. It’s quite fast. My issue is that you can’t use the service on more than one device unless you sign up for an account - even if you have a paid subscription. I set it up on my iPad, then used “restore purchase” to set it up on my iPhone. When I went back to my iPad the VPN was not working. I re-activate it on my iPad and it stops working on my iPhone. My other VPN doesn’t do that. Once purchased, it works on all my devices without me having to sign up for an account. While I have nothing to hide (I use a VPN to protect myself when using shared WiFi) it seems odd that a service that promotes privacy insists on being able to identify you and the devices you use before giving you what you pay for.

Was working now it’s not. I have been using X-VPN for a while now and I absolutely loved it. It let me use google and Snapchat and other things when the wifi I used didn’t allow me to. I woke up one morning after an update and it randomly stopped working. It kept connecting then disconnecting straight away. I tried contacting support and did as they told me and nothing happened. Something is wrong with the latest update.

The worst customer service. I downloaded this application and it had a week free trial, after downloading it noticed that it wasn’t what I was looking so tried to cancel it in a same day but it didn’t work thought that there is a problem and should be fine by next day but again it didn’t work out and was keep failing my request for subscription cancelation till the response page was blank so I thought it worked after some days it took the money out of my account and however I tried to reach them they never got back to me. I’m really annoyed with this app!

Unstable. It works with my school restricted network. However, it is not stable. For example, when I connected to the vpn, it works for 10-15 min. After that, it will won't work, even when your phone show the vpn icon. To fix that, you will have to reconnect it again (which is annoying when you in the middle of the game)

Actually horrible. At first I thought this app would be a problem to all my solutions, until I started connecting to the most random places and even sometimes nothing at all. It will bombard you with advertisements before, during, and after connecting to the vpn, and it will even sometimes be blank and not give me connection at all. With data it’s slow, and with WiFi it’s slow. There is nothing good about this app other than the 2% chance it will work. I read these other reviews and see that either these people are lying or they have premium.

Doesn’t stay on. This is by far the best vpn app ive used, its very easy to navigate and it works well free. All this was great until after using for a month or so the amount of time it stayed on, slowly decreased. The shortest its stayed on was 3 minuets. This is extremely aggravating having to turn it on over and over and over again every 3-5 minutes, and im starting to get to the point where im willing to try something new. It isnt always like this, but the inconsistency is not something i can work with.

Pretty Good. It’s really helpful for me since i only have 1GB of data a month and i have to use the school wifi which blocks everything, but the VPN helps however i noticed that sometimes it just stops, like before the vpn use to last for like an hour or so but lately it’s only been lasting for around 5-10 minutes before i have to find a new server to connect to, im not sure if this is just me but if this could be fixed i’d rate it higher. other than that it’s a really good vpn

Worked less and less over time. This is a very good VPN if it works for you. It used to be very good for me, I would use it with no problem. But the app started freezing for minutes on the loading screen when I open it, or freeze on the first screen with the button to turn it on. I have to restart the app multiple times and hope it doesn’t freeze now to get it to work. It is a very good VPN, but it stopped working for me and I will be switching.

Thank you to X-VPN. This VPN worked so well in helping my bypass my school’s terrible internet. Without X-VPN I wouldn’t have been able to complete my online work. It’s so easy to use and extremely effective. I would highly recommend this to anyone who goes to school or works in an area with unsecured internet. <3

this is a lifesaver during school, everywhere. I have a problem on my phone where if im not on wifi, my cellular data doesnt work. So I have to use a vpn. I first used SkyVPN where it worked at first but then I found out from this app, girl, this is the best app ever, its most of my screen time… Besides tiktok and at school where the wifi is worse than mcdonalds wifi, this is a lifesaver i love it ❤️❤️❤️

5 stars. This app is amazing! I’m 11 years old with an iPod and needed a way to contact my parents at school. I ran across this app on Instagram and was like omg I need this! I knew the password to the staff WiFi so I typed it in without the app running and it didn’t work, I ran the app and sure enough it worked! I do 3 after school projects during each season. 1. Cross country 2. Gymnastics for the middle of summer and all of winter 3. Baseball (not softball). This app is so useful I love it!

Good for high school purposes. The free version doesn’t allow you to pick where the VPN gets reconnected to, which is fair, since it’s free. I use it to access Netflix and social media at school, since the school WiFi blocks certain cotes. One down side, for example, is that I can’t watch Netflix when I’m relocated to New York, because they are in different areas. In the end, I can do pretty much everything else on my phone while the VPN is on.

Used to be good. This app used to be good. They had basically every location for free, gave detailed protocol options you could chose from and even had a kill switch. Netflix didn’t recognize this app as a proxy and you could watch the shows you didn’t have in your country. There were minimal ads and only after you connected. I don’t know what happened, but now you can connect to only a server near you and nowhere else. I think the protocols and kill switch are still available but it doesn’t really serve much use since you can’t connect overseas.

Recent update killed it for me. Been using this app since February. With the last update I’m no longer able to use it with the barracks (deployed Middle East) WiFi. I know the purpose is not to get free WiFi, but I was and it was working great. Also now it seems I’m no longer able to use it to watch Netflix from other countries as it’s not even natively available here. Tried the free upgrade and it didn’t help I’ll likely move onto a different app if this isn’t fixed.

One big flaw. This app has great features and lots of locations. I specially like the IP checker, feature that most of this kind of apps don’t have. There’s more than this but I do not use them regularly. One big flaw that recently started is that whenever I turn the VPN on when I’m home using my residential WiFi, the app automatically switches my phone from the residential WiFi to LTE, and consuming my data. I’ve tried many VPN apps but none of them disconnected my phone from my home WiFi to the phone’s LTE.

Great app. Especially for students who get very bad reception at school and are forced to use school WIFI, X-VPN unblocks all websites that were previously unavailable for students and just common people who use restrictive networks. X-VPN also speeds up your network and changes your IP address so no hacker can track your location. I personally love this app and even without paying for premium(which I think is a great feature) I believe it’s worth installing

They took features from my premium account for no reason.. I bought a premium account. After about a month of use, unfortunately, they changed my premium account. So that the servers were limited and the free account protocols could only be used. I reported this problem to the support and they said it is a technical problem and they will check with you in the next 24 hours. But unfortunately, not only did they not check, but even after that they did not answer me.

Since recent updates completely useless. This has been my only vpn for 2 years, worked great, now since the last 2 updates doesn’t connect at all, they say it’s lightening fast when connecting, well their idea of a lightning fast connection and mine must be two different things. I hope they work this problem out, if not, don’t bother downloading this vpn, it’s a completely useless app.☹️

Great VPN. I’m a security guy by profession and I use X-VPN on all of my devices. I’ve been pleased with the performance and the convenience of only paying for one app that I can use on my iPhone, iPad and my business laptop. It does sometimes drop access to public WiFi but I’ve had that happen with other VPNs. I’d rather have a few drops than expose my data to hackers.

Good at first, now horrible. At first this was the BEST VPN I ever sued, immediately connected, very strong, never failed. I use it at school because we have no service in school, so I have to connect to wifi and then VPN, due to school blocking Snapchat, TikTok, Ect, so I use VPN so I can get on TikTok, after 1 month of using it perfectly now it will not stay connected. It will turn on then stop and disconnect and glitch back and forth. I have tried restarting my phone, deleting the app, and redownloading, updating my phone, nothing works! I’ll have to try and find another VPN app.

Love it, but two issues. First time using it I could not figure out how to use it because you can not just press cancel or something on the premium screen. You have to close the app down and re open it. Problem #1. The second one is not being able to connect to internet after the vpn kicks you off of it. Besides that, this actually is the first vpn to find useful and would recommend.

Good Review. I highly recommended it… it’s worth the cost and does work… when I had the free version my vpn wasn’t working but when I bought it… it worked smoothly without problem. Various vpns to use from and safe. Love this app 🐣 School always blocks my wifi so when I got this vpn it really came in clutch.

It’s pretty good, but. I really like this vpn. It works really nicely, but it likes to just stop working at times, even when I have really good internet connection. And whenever this happens, changing the protocol does nothing to fix it. It gets pretty annoying when I’m trying to do my work in class and it won’t submit because I lost connection when my vpn decided not to work. Overall, when it does work, it works really nicely.

Awesome, Fast and Easy-To-Use VPN. Luv all the features and performance of this VPN, but unable to clear or reset the Favorites selection. Hopefully, this will be corrected soon. 😊 Also, I paid for the monthly subscription and keep receiving advertisements and notices the service is still being used as free. I keep having to re-login with full User ID and password. Hopefully, this is corrected too! 😊

Dude it’s prefect. It’s free,when you install it it’ll ask about subscription but it’s not mandatory you can just press X. It speeds the wifi and you can connect overseas sopposably (haven’t done yet bc i only use it at school)it unblocks school wi fi making it not lag and load fast And letting you play online games This the best VPN and the only that doesn’t scam you or say it’s free. But litterly lock everything until you pay like 30$ a month

Dishonest and scummy. The product itself works ok but when I tried to cancel a month before my next payment it kept getting pushed back and back and back until finally my “support” person went on a random 30 day break apparently I was then told to email support which I did a week before my subscription telling them “JUST CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION” and it is still to this moment not cancelled

Asked for my personal information on vip support. I’ve downloaded this vpn after the massive censorship in Iran I’ve subscribed my problem and started using their services, but because Iran government kept restricting the vpn I contacted their support team and ask for help. They gave me an telegram account of a person that had no connections to the X-VPN company whatsoever and was a personal account yet they asked for a screen shot of my manage payment section of apple AppStore which contained PERSONAL INFORMATION such as credit card number and my address, and when i asked why such information is needed for a test program, they read my message and DID NOT ANSWER I’ve contacted their support and told them about the incident and their only response was: we won’t ask for that information in the future 😂. That’s it. I’m sorry for them and myself for the purchase of their products, and I will not renew my subscription and I advise you to do the same.

Best vpn ever. X-VPN is really good for school all you have to do is just connect to the school Wi-Fi and then turn on the vpn it runs out sometimes but just turn it back on or buy the thing where it doesn’t run out I can watch tictok go on instagram and assess the internet with no problem with this vpn really good vpn I recommend it

Help please. Love the app definitely a must have for extra protection & security plus the connect speed is great definitely recommend it to others. Just need a little help since the last update it’s not letting me restore purchase this is the second year I’ve had it just renewed this month on the yearly mobile only plan but this is the first time a update affected my me.

It’s pretty good but.... The vpn service is really good for when your at school and you want to use the internet without restrictions but the stability of the connection could be better. Also, the different protocols had ratings on which was better in different ways than the rest, right now it does not have that feature, I would like to see that come back to the app. Thank you

School wifi + free vpn. I love this app!!! It’s so useful for when you have no connection, and they find vpn servers fast! I have no service at my school (and I mean no service, I literally have 1x) but the wifi works just fine. The problem is, just like any other teenager, I love social media and our wifi blocks it. So connecting to the schools wifi with vpn i have amazing connection in any class all day! Also it’s free so that’s a major plus.

Xvpn lie about the device limit. On premium XVPN states UP TO 5 devices limit, which is not same as 5 device and system blocks you as soon as you add device #4. This only happens if you have at least ONE device activated and accesses from a different IP, which is a total SCAM. I bought it for my family. Sometime we go outside of home and if you sell me 5 active devices give 5 to me, not 3. I understand why you don't have a refund after the trial, because you grab the money for the service with NO SUPPORT. Shameful

Amazing. Omg this is the best vpn app everrrr. I’ve been trying to watch this show called takeshis castle Thailand which is blocked in all countries but Thailand. I’ve kept trying for 2 days finding a good vpn app to change my location to Thailand so I could watch it and it worked. Amazing. Honestly I have been having big issues with privacy, and phishing. But thanks to X-VPN I was able to not only maintain my privacy and internet speed, even regained emails! I’m not sure what they were taking or how, but I know they were unable to continue doing so after I installed this app, as I saw big difference in app performance and Vpn doesn’t randomly shut off truly a godsend.

Restore Services.... I had no trouble when I had an IPhone 8 and a Gen 4 IPad “Using X-VPN Multiple device’s option?” Now, I’ve got the new XR+ and a new IPad Pro and it will NEVER let me “Restore Purchases!” It always says, almost immediately “Can not do it right now? Try again? Well, it’s been almost a month and it’s saying the same thing? I’m paid through October, if this doesn’t work? How do I get my money back? Or at least cancel the service?

IP address still remains the same same. I downloaded a network analysis app and between my xfinity WiFi IP address, my actual network IP, and X-VPN’s alleged ‘ fastest server’ IP address, which also allows for you to relocate your network... well, something isn’t working because I run the analyzer application and the VPN/WiFi/network all have the same IP address. Even when I run the IP address checker and X-VPN gives me a certain locations IP address that I’m supposed to be connected to, I again run my other program and it again shows that this is not true. Please help. 7.99 a month is a lot for a VPN that doesn’t work

Once good VPN turned to trash. a couple months ago i used this app everyday because of the quality of this app and i could go for a long time with no hiccup in this service, but now this app has gone completely down hill for me. i cannot use it for more than a couple seconds without it disconnecting on me if im lucky (it’s happening whilst i write this review), and if im not it keeps connecting than disconnecting and connecting and disconnecting until it just flat out doesnt work anymore. i highly recommended you stay clear of this vpn

Excellent!!!. Listen I have unlimited data with AT&T... and I still use this! I don’t even need it necessarily!😂 I love to use it on campus because it is harder to get service deep into the buildings and some crowded areas. However! Whenever I turn this on, my messages that used to take several minutes to send, now only take about 45-60sec

Got a snitch Snitching on X-Vpn. Today I was on Snapchat and learn about a snitch, a rodent, snitched to the teacher or principal about this vpn and now It doesn’t work. they added system on every Gwinnett county school system that stop it from working and even sky vpn doesn’t work. If you Snitch, everyone is not playing and if the actually snitch that snitch to the teacher or principal. There’s no turning back. Snitches get STITCHES!!!

Owner Home Business. I just wanted to say I have been using X-VPN for years and I have never felt, as well as have I been so secure as today. I’m using the internet more than ever and I cannot have hackers tracking me, compromising me and my financial information. Nothing works as well as this product. One of the best in the business. Connection issues. This last update has really done something. When I have my VPN set to ‘ON’, I set my phone down, or will be on a call, and the app turns itself off. Or I have difficulty logging in to apps that require my location while VPN is on. I have to turn VPN off, then back on again several times until I can get those apps to work. These issues were not a part of previous updates for me. I paid for the premium in hopes of having a consistent and constant connection. Not something that’s spotty at best. What has gone awry with this update? Please find a patch for it.

Unstable but great !. I’m writing this review after using X-VPN for 2 weeks … I’m living in Iran and as you know we can’t use social media without vpn , I decided to use this vpn and it was great but it has got a problem : it’s unstable.. Best app ever. Before I downloaded x-vpn, I was a lonely social reject wishing I was as cool as all the other kids who use x-vpn. I was on the verge of suicide but then I finally downloaded x-vpn. X-vpn saved my life. Now I can watch porn anywhere I go even on the school WiFi and nobody will know. Constant boners are a must when using X-vpn!!! I would recommend for anybody of all ages because only the cool kids use X-vpn!!

Disconnect frequently and without warning. Pretty decent. Doesn’t unblock networks at my school that easily and has a slow loading time. However it gets the job done. Not as good as my other VPN but it has less ads which makes it a good alternative when I don’t feel like watching a bunch of ads to get service in a blocked area. It does give you limited traffic like most free vpns do but it doesn’t warn you when it’s going to disconnect which is annoying. I like it though so I’d recommend.

Keeps disconnecting. Used this Vpn for a year and it had no problems, but as of August it keeps disconnecting on its own. At first it would disconnect every like hour or couple hours, then every few minutes, now every time I try and open an app it disconnects. Finding myself turning it on after watching an ad, going to Instagram and it turns off, going back and watching an ad to turn it on, then when I move to another app it disconnects again. It's frustrating because this happens everyday now, so I have deleted the app and am moving onto a new VPN.

Best app-it’s a must download. I use this app so much! I use it when I’m in school or a public area when I’m using their WiFi like Starbucks or the public library. This app makes me feel like my phone is more protected when I’m on public WiFi. Also, for all the people in school who are on school WiFi and can’t access anything...this app solves the problem. Great app, without this recent problem. This is an amazing app for anything simple you’d like to do that places like school and work block, but something I’ve noticed has changed in a recent update. It disconnects from WiFi wayyy easier than it used to, and won’t connect again until I restart my device or reinstall the app, which is not okay when my school’s internet blocks app installation, so if that could be fixed so maintaining connection and reconnecting is easier and more reliable I’d definitely give this a five star review.

Honest Review !. Ok, I just wanted to start off by saying to the developers, thank you. This is the single best vpn I have ever used, and I’ve used a ton throughout the year, a ton! I never thought I would find a free vpn that would last me such a long time, connect very quickly ( lightning fast! Fastest connection I’ve ever seen in a vpn ) and doesn’t lag or disappoint in any way. I recommend this all the way!

Lockdown of Features. The previous update allowed free users to use the kill switch if the vpn disconnected, as well as allowing you to choose a free server location outside of your country (with slower speeds of course), The IP checker tool was also free to use, it was great for free users. Fast forward to the latest update, where the free users no longer have access to any of the features mentioned above, they also decided to slap in full screen video ads every time you connect. And now you must pay for the features that were once free. I'll move to a different vpn. Don't bother with this one.

Got money taken without permission from the app.. I only downloaded this app quite a while ago and I had bought a free trial in expectation of not having to pay. Couple weeks go by and I go to add a card to my apple wallet. I went and bought all the stuff I needed with the card then a few hours later I get charged for this app. I always thought that I would at least get a warning if I had a subscription and I needed to pay it. But my 7 day trial had already been canceled since I never paid it. So it just randomly charged me. I’d like a refund ASAP.

If you’re using multiple devices, avoid X-VPN. I am currently deployed and using X-VPN for my iPhone, iPad, and 2 laptops (one for media and one for work). I depend on this VPN to stay in contact with my family and have been having issues. After finally being able to chat with customer service they notified my that my account was apparently flagged for “sharing accounts with multiple people”. After chatting with them and them being no help, they won’t respond after submitting a picture demonstrating how I use my account and won’t issue a refund or anything. $72 for the yearly subscription down the drain real fast. Save your money and try something else!!

X-VPN. I got X-VPN to safely browse the internet, yet for some reason this app will continue to push its “premium package” which is pretty much the entire app for way more then it should be. You should not have to pay money to move your location it’s ridiculous you get 1 entire server and it doesn’t work as well as they advertise it I think thy should at least have a few free places instead of one poorly managed anonymous server this app is a failed attempt at a money grab and it is sadly the shell of what used to be.

Nice but why is the ads so long?. The vpn works which is nice and I know you have to make money and I was okay with the ads before but after this new update, ads are taking forever to finish. It makes you go the the App Store for you to close it and forces you to play the little demo which is frustrating after a while. I’m fine with the videos but this is a little too much.

I’ve used this app twice everytime I download it I get to scroll for a good 2-4 hours then the duration gets lessened by every use (If you’re using it for FREE), eventually it was less than 10 minutes and you have to watch an ad to turn it on. It was so much better to scroll without having to reconnect every 10 minutes and watch an ad in the process, it’s basically forcing me to subscribe to premium to get the experience they advertised for free, I do not need vpn on more than one device, nor do I need to pay to scroll for 30 minutes on tiktok.
