It absolutely works!. I have been using this app for a few months now and it’s the best I’ve found so far for meal prepping. I used to use meal lime, but it wasn’t as useful for my fitness goals. My goal is to gain weight and bulk up, and I have gained 13 lbs so far! I am convinced it will also work for anyone trying to loose weight. I like to use the “full prep” mode so I cook my whole week’s supply of meals on the same day, and then I don’t have to cook again for the rest of the week. I only end up spending about 2 hours a week in the kitchen. 10/10 would recommend for anyone trying to gain or lose weight, or for anyone who wants to prep healthy meals efficiently!

Screen orientation forced to landscape on iPad. Update: Changing my rating from one star to five stars because of developer response :). Thank you and I wish you well! This is honestly about a five star app but it fails the easiest usability requirement… don’t tell me how to hold my device. When I open the app on iPad, the screen turns to landscape mode. It’s forced on me even when I’m holding the iPad in portrait orientation. Fix that, and this rating will be five stars. I feel bad giving a low rating because clearly a lot of work went into this app, but this is my biggest pet peeve. It’s like buying a luxury car that can’t make left turns… why is it built like this??

Easy to use, recipes are delicious. Disclaimer: have used this app for 2 weeks. Pros: - amazing to be able to outsource meal planning, the meals have all been reliably healthy and delicious, as well as fun to prep - The grocery list function is a real time saver, allowing you to select groceries and do online curbside delivery in advance. Areas for improvement: - plan on tweaking the amounts, especially if prepping for a partner as well. The app essentially just increases each recipe by whatever your partner's caloric needs are which isn't always practical. - It would be helpful to have an option to display fruits and vegetables as whole or half items in the recipes (like on the grocery list) in order to make prepping easier, plan on using a kitchen scale. - it would be helpful to be able to separate the grocery list by meal, for example I may go shopping on Sunday afternoon and want lunch and breakfast on the previous week's list. All in all I definitely recommend the app - give the trial a go to see if the level of structure is something you will use/worth the monthly fee to you.

Wow!!!. About 3 months ago, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. I was pretty active ( a brown belt in Martial Arts and an avid cyclist), so the news hit me like a freight train. With all the exercise and “somewhat” watching what I ate, the reality was, I could and should be doing more. Thankfully, my A1C was borderline, so the diagnoses came with periodic blood sugar checks and a nutritionist instead of medication(s). That’s when I found this app. I had gone through a couple of others, but none of them were helpful and a ton of them provided me with information overload, and eventually, deletion of the app. But this app is sooooo on point. I have a clear calendar of what to eat and when, a platform that allows me to click one button to chow I have eaten the meal and stats that are meaningful and easy to review. Most importantly, the food is absolutely scrumptious (I can’t tell you how many times I made spaghetti without whole grain noodles because I thought it would taste lifeless - until I just had the Turkey and Garlic Meatball recipe!!) I just wanted to give a huge kudos to you and your team for putting together a well thought out and user friendly system that will ultimately keep me on track with my fitness and health goals.

Best meal prep app I’ve found so far. I have spent the past week using like 10 different meal prep apps, including all the ones at the top of the App Store. This is definitely the best one. The positives: - Excellent interface, by far the best of all meal apps - Easy to pick/change your own meals to your liking, if you’re picky or your preferences have changed - Good nutritional info and good layout to read it all - Great calendar view so your meal plan actually feels like a plan - Easy to change preferences, add household members, etc… The negatives: - Can’t import meals or recipes from other sources, so can’t use recipes from friends or family or your favorite website about baking or whatever - Can’t easily change multiple meals or days at once for short term reasons, eg a religious fasting, a cheat day, a holiday, the day before a marathon, family visiting over, etc… - Shopping portion needs a little work. Can’t account for grocery items already in your kitchen, or items already purchased in a previous week - Shopping items you check off don’t move anywhere, so the list looks cluttered when you already have half of what you need.

My favorite app EVER!!!. The design and thoughtfulness that went into this app is breathtaking. Seriously. There is no other app that I have used in any genre that’s better designed or well thought out. So, enough gushing. Here are some specific takeaways. First, the recipes are dead simple, no significant cooking experience is required. Second, everything tastes really good. I had some major concerns because some of the recipes seemed a little too “healthy,” but the food is delicious. Third, this accommodates picky eaters and those with allergies/sensitivities extremely well. Fourth, this integrates with your lifestyle very well. The app easily allows for cooking your own favorites or eating out. Fifth, if you do the pantry staples plan, you will find the recipes very economical. The other plans were not unreasonable, but were not cost saving for me. With the pantry staples plan, I am spending significantly less on groceries. Now I am eating healthier, saving money, and I’m not feeling like all my free time is spent cooking and cleaning. Thanks for this app!!!

Fanatic app. I’ve been using MealPrepPro for a while now. I’ve managed to lose 40 pounds during this time. I’m happy that more and more recipes are being added each week. I can’t recommend enough as it takes a lot of the guesswork and planning out of the equation. If you’re busy, but not too busy to cook, this is the app for you. If I had one feature request, it would be to swap out the snacks for something like an apple or some other fruit. Right now the snacks are all recipes and not just whole foods like fruit or a vegetable. I’d prefer to grab a banana as a snack vs making a “fancy” snack.

Long time app user/YouTube subscriber. This app needs serious updates. And fast. The amount of food waste on a 2 person plan and these forced 7 day meal prep recipes is absurd. I tried to swap to 3 or 4 and it only shows the macros for the main user.... The breakfast quinoa sausage casserole in particular would not fit in 3 full size casserole dishes, never mind mixing bowls. I chopped vegetables for an hour and somehow the 4lbs of egg whites just didn’t raise any alarms. I didn't even know it was a 7 day recipe until I started cooking and wondered why this disaster was unfolding in front of me. No fault to Chef the food has been amazing all the way through, but the avenue in which it’s being shared/instructed to PAYING subscribers needs to change and fast. I hadn’t noticed this issue before as I only recently activated the two user settings. I can’t begin to express how long/stressful/wasteful a 7 day two user recipe leaves a user/their kitchen. Only a picture could tell the whole story. Won’t be subscribing/watching if this doesn’t change ASAP. This is beyond an oversight reading other reviews so ignoring it does no good for your brand Chef, get on it...

Absolutely awesome. I am so happy with this app. They have literally made it so easy for me to plan my (vegan!!) meals every week. The shopping list that updates itself is INCREDIBLY helpful. I go though before I go to the store and mark off the ingredients I already have, then I’m on my way. Everything is separated into sections so it makes grocery shopping super easy. The prep part is also amazing, everything is perfectly portioned to fit into my meal prep containers. I am so happy with this app and will HAPPILY pay for it monthly because it makes my life so much easier. I am a newby figure competitor and this is perfect for me. Now I just need Kevin to sponsor me after I win my first comp ;) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Wonderful App just a few things to fix. I have been using this app for just over a month now and I love it! The only thing I found very interesting is some of the portions. For the chive and cheddar biscuits the recipe is supposed to be for 3 days and when I made the mixture it made only 1 biscuit unless I made them in 3 tiny bite size pieces. Another thing I found interesting is the coffee cake cupcake recipe is 590 calories for breakfast but 200 calories for a snack and it is the exact same recipe. So I do not know if the calories are made up or if it’s just something that needs reassessed. Other than that, this app is great as I’m trying to trim up for the summer.

Awesome App!. Started using this app in conjunction with MyFitness and FitBod (to track workouts). I LOVE this app and I’ve lost 25# so far. I started with the keto diet but found it too challenging for me. It was easy to change over to the Mediterranean diet in the app and it’s been great! I spend less on groceries with the targeted shopping list and I don’t waste food by buying oddball ingredients. Saves me money, makes cooking fun and losing weight so much easier. My hubby even likes to food. And now with the macros, my friends on specific diets can use it too. Great app! One addition I would love though is to add my recipes with ingredients. I have to option to add the nutrients for now but would love to be able to all the whole recipe. Highly recommend this app to anyone trying to manage their diet.

Not a lot of choices, portions too big. I am on this app to gain muscle, and i honestly feel like the portions are ridiculous. I did find it weird that every single recipe had around the same amount of calories and protein. I found it especially weird when i saw that scrambled eggs and bread had almost 700 calories, thats when i realized i would have to stuff my face with 3 slices of bread with 4 scrambled eggs. Why is the protein intake so high??? i only weight 120lbs and its recommending me to eat 150 grams of protein, which is the lowest option on the app. Another thing, the food choices. I was on the flexible meal plan and It is either american asian food, or caucasian food (idk what to call that). I am hispanic and i would love to see more culturally diverse foods. Hispanic doesn’t automatically mean mexican tho. I did like that there were tostones but that was the only food i was familiar with. Looking at the choices feels overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time.

SIMPLY THE BEST.. MealPrepPro is simply the best meal prep/nutrition app I’ve used by far! From the simple user interface, custom macros for meal prep, nutritional tracking, and abundance of variety with healthy ingredients to name a few, there is nothing better out there! This app has really allowed me to create and develop a healthier relationship with food coming from thinking I had to eat mundane chicken, veggies, and rice to get and maintain a lean physique. To top it all off, the customer service is superb. I reached out with a recommendation/question and got a response same day. Not only did I receive a response, but consideration for my thoughts and needs. You can tell that the team at MealPrepPro sincerely love what they do! 10/5 stars!

Implement more instructional videos please!. This app would be great if it had more instructional videos showing the process of the cooking. It’s kinda hard for me to follow the written steps, it gets confusing at some points and the wording trips me up. If the app is going to have a “cooking mode” and the cooking mode barely has any videos to it, I feel like it should at least be more thorough with the steps and instructions. I feel it would be easier if I’m able to follow the video as I go by, most of the recipes recommended to me for my diet don’t even have a instructional video for me to follow and it’s pretty frustrating. Its no use in me searching the name of the recipe online to see if I can get any videos on it because they use different ingredients than what the app is telling you to use. I have one question though, for the recipes that are “meal prep.” In the ingredients section do they show the ingredients to make enough for one serving? So if you’re meal prepping the “5-ingredient Salmon Teriyaki” and it says meal prep for 4 days this week, the 2.3 Ib of salmon fillet would only reflect for one serving for that one day? So you’d have to make it again 3 times for the rest of the days and at the start of each time you making it you use the same 2.3 Ib of salmon right?

THE BEST. Hands down the best app I’ve ever used for meal prepping. I’ve struggled for years to get my eating right and have always been overwhelmed with counting calories, figuring out my macros and in turn figuring out what to eat to meet my goals. (And eat delicious food so that I will actually stick to the diet!) this app has made my life SO MUCH EASIER!!! I can’t thank the creator enough! The food is delicious and knowing that I’m hitting my calories keeps me motivated to keep going. I’ve been working with a personal trainer as well and I can see that my results have started to show once I started eating right (I spent months with a PT without a good diet and wasn’t losing the weight although I was seeing some results naturally). If you’re looking for something that will take the guess work out of meal prepping, this is the best app.

Life changing. So this is my first time ever writing a review but this app deserves it. I have struggled with anorexia in the past and had to stop using MyFitnessPal because of it. But I still wanted a way to track my macros and eat healthy foods without it controlling my life. This app does it. I love how you can swap meals out (over time you really start to find your favorite recipes) and you can trust that each meal is balanced and hits all your macros. The shopping list makes things super easy and most of the recipes I’ve had turned out amazing with very little prep work. There are a couple minors things that need to be fixed. I have had some recipes that leave out one ingredient from the list and you don’t notice it until you’re in cooking mode and it tells you to add an ingredient that wasn’t listed! There are a couple other minor bugs that pop up here and there but honestly the pros outweigh the cons and this app still deserves 5 stars. I have one suggestion though, Kevin Curry if you are reading this, could you add in a search bar or a way to favorite certain recipes? If you are debating about this app, do it!

My New Favorite App. I always struggle with meal planning and finding the right combination of recipes to balance my calories and macros. I just don’t have the time or patience, and too often I simply don’t do it. This app has it all. Tons of recipes that you can customize based on dietary preferences, it plans your meals for the whole week, makes grocery shopping a breeze, and so far the recipes I’ve tried have all been stupid easy and tasted pretty good too. I only wish that I could export the recipes to myfitness pal so I could easily track anything else I might have eaten that day. Overall I am impressed, and I’d have to say that this app is WELL WORTH the $7/month (but please don’t raise the price ;))

Delicious vegan recipes. I wasn’t expecting a meal planning app to have a lot of vegan options, but this app does offer a Whole Foods plant based plan. Not only is it varied, I’m trying recipes I would have never tried and they are DELICIOUS, inexpensive, and easy to cook. The things you prep stay well in the fridge or freezer and flavors intensify each day. I am only giving this four stars because I would like an option to log things outside your plan. I use this app alongside calorie and nutrient logging apps, though, so I get a good snapshot of what I’m eating. Do give this app a try if you’re interested in eating more plant based foods. I can see this app going well alongside BLE plans. You’d just have to adjust certain ingredients.

Great app, suggestions. I love using this app as I work 12-13 hour shifts at work and I just don’t have time or energy to be cooking after work. Or spend all my free time after work cooking. It helps me eat better as well. One issue I have is that it doesn’t give exact portion sizes. It would be nice to have the portion weights that are recommended at the end. Like others have said as well, I wish there was a swap for sides or grains/veggies. One was an avo toast, well I substitute sometimes for a rice cake. The recipes are a bit bland, and I do tweak them with seasonings. I consider them a good base recipe, however some things are hard to kind of predict taste until fully cooked and are better to season while cooking (baking). Another thing, I think the weekly prep is kind of flawed. I picked 4 days in a row because I work those 4 days, however the recipe cuts off at 2 because it hits the weekend. So Sunday and Monday weren’t accounted for in my recipe. I just realized this after prepping last night that I may have used only a 2 day recipe and portioned for 4 days. However, my portions seemed pretty reasonable, so now I’m a bit confused. Could have sworn I used this before and it didn’t cut off at Saturday and start a new prep on Sunday. Maybe I haven’t prepped on a weekend yet. Either way, I don’t have a set schedule, and I mostly prep before my work days.

This app changed my meal planning for my family of 6!!. Seriously for years I’ve been thinking - there should be a service where you tell someone your macros and they give you meal ideas! I wish I had found this sooner because my meal prep has been overwhelming to say the least so it usually only lasts 3 weeks and then I’m overwhelmed. I don’t enjoy thinking of new recipes that are healthy and that my family will eat, I don’t enjoy making grocery lists, and I definitely don’t enjoy figuring out weights based off of what my macros should be. This app does it all for you! They’ve honestly thought of everything. I can even add my own personal recipe macros since I like to eat the same breakfast and snack everyday. That way I’m not having to leave the app to subtract what meals I’m getting from MealPlanPro from my daily overall macro count. Just add them in! They have delicious and clean recipe ideas and my family has enjoyed all of them! Now I just figure out my portions and add my kids and hubby so I can have dinners for several nights in a row and still can measure out my specific portion. It’s sooo great! It has immensely simplified my life. If I had to give one complaint it would be that hopefully one day it’ll give you the option to swap out an ingredient but I know that probably makes it way more complicated. Thank you for an awesome app! If you’re debating, don’t! Just get it!

Try before you use any other subscription meal service.. As an athlete, you try to optimize your performance through every means possible (i.e. training, sleep, and fuel). Well informed athletes realize that proper nutrition is the primary benefactor in aiding one’s performance; some would even suggest its more important than sleep and training combined. MealPrepPro is a great way for athletes, who either know a lot or very little about dietetics, to ensure they are fueling the body properly. I looked a Sun Basket, Blue Kitchen, Fresh Deliveries, and even even he Trifecta Meal Prep service(s) - all because I needed personal help in figuring out how to diversity my diet in a appropriate manner. With the time to actually cook my food, I chose MealPrepPro via FitMenCook because I knew I would enjoy the food while diversifying the flavors. Plain and simple, try it out for a month and follow it to the “T,” it will get you in the right track. -Tactical Athlete

Changed My Life. This app has truly changed the way I eat. After moving out with my boyfriend, I really struggled to find good recipes that would leave me with plenty of leftovers. I work two jobs so I have little to no time for cooking every single night. My boyfriend and I also workout and wanted to focus more on our eating in order to balance everything out. This app made it legitimately so easy. The automatically generated grocery list? Amazing. The calculation of calories and what I should be eating? Fantastic. The recipes they offer? Fun and delicious. I really can’t say it enough, I love this app. It’s absolutely worth a subscription and I am so excited to continue using it.

Where Has this App Been All my Life!!!. I don't leave reviews... I rate and keep it moving. However this App!! 🤯🤯🤯 If you think it might not work I'm here to say it does! Definitely the best meal planning app in the App Store. Many options for the type of food eater you are, you can even mix and match so if you want to do a Flexible plan but one day you might be feeling a lil Vegatarian or Pow Car you can swap out that food for another recipe and not disrupt your rest of the weeks meal plan. The layout is seemless and it even syncs with my food journal app... How?!? I have no idea but I was sold ld!! Never have a immediately paid for a year subscription on an app. There needs to be more talk about how good it is! Only suggestion I have is to add where the recipe given the serving size can be adjust down for how your cooking for the next 2 days. I'm solo so I just need to cook for 2 to 3 servings (you can even choose how often you want to cook during the week) just for me. I just adjust it my self but just a suggestion. Thanks!!

Great app and great results.. I started my healthy nutrition journey by giving up soda when I was a teen. By the time I was in college I gave up sweets during the week and started to realize that what one consumes directly affects their life. In 2007, I discovered Sear’s zone and CrossFit. That worked for a while, but counting blocks became difficult. Then paleo soon followed and that just became too restricted. Recently, after reading Mark Sisson’s Keto Reset Book I was left with a lot of hope, but realized it would be difficult to take the information and apply to something like forming a shopping list and menu for the week. I’m 36, 6’1” and was 212 pounds. This app has helped me and my wife lose approximately 15 pounds each in 4 weeks. Kevin and his team have been able to help us bridge theory with application and the results fantastic. I’ve also bought urine test strips and they have shown that we are in Ketosis. I’m giving 4 stars only because there is still room for improvement. For example, menu can continue to expand, there are typos occasionally (I’m sure there are a few in this review!), there is still the occasional “use a pinch” direction and it would help to be clearer with amounts. If you are concerned about cost, the yearly subscription is relative to what you would pay for a good book, expect this one helps you lose weight. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Please create partner sharing!. I just started using this app with my fiancé to get our eating on track for our goals. I like that it selects recipes and that you can swap what you don’t like, and it keeps track of what you’ve consumed. But there’s a couple major kinks to this: 1- It doesn’t provide portion sizes for the two people in a functional way. Stating my partner eats 65% while I eat 35% requires a lot of extra work to determine how many ounces or servings I should be consuming. 2- We can’t both have our tracked plans on the same account and be synced across two devices with the same info. Even being logged into the same account on two devices doesn’t provide the exact same meals etc without significant manual swapping. We both want to be on track and eat the same things (but different portions) and know we are consuming what we need to to meet our goals. Partner sharing or partner syncing should definitely be in the set of fixes!

They have thought of EVERYTHING to help a person be successful at meal planning!!. To start: The app creates a menu for you & if you don’t like what it chooses, you can swap out individual meals for something different; it offers suggestions to swap out with. You can also add your own recipes as well. It also has a shopping list. All you do is push a button on the recipe you’ve chosen & it adds the ingredients to the shopping list. You can cross off items you don’t need & cross things off your list while you shop. All the ingredients on the list are listed in the sections you find them in the store. ie: produce, frozen, spices, etc. The recipes only take 10 to 15mins to make, & the ones I chose, were sooooo delicious that I’m completely sold on this app!! I’m a horrible binge eater & I’m horrible about planning meals & snacks on my own. I have a feeling this is my key to weight loss success! Had to share this find for anyone else interested in meal prep & needs help with their portion control. The only downside to this app, for me, is that it measures by ounces instead of teaspoons, tablespoons, & cups, so I have to look up the conversions every time bc I don’t want to weigh things. So far, that is the only thing I don’t like about the app... They’ve really thought of everything - they even have step by step instructions to scroll through as you make the recipe... Sorry such a long post, but I’m blown away by this app!! 😊

The calories are way off. This will make you gain weight.. I was looking for an app that would simplify tracking meal planning and tracking my macros. I’m currently using a dedicated cooking app along with LoseIt for tracking. I first tried this app for the one week free trial period but I was not able to use it that much. However, the user interface was good and some of the recipes looked okay. So, I signed up for the monthly subscription. First recipe I tried was the Chicken Thigh Tagine with Cauliflower Rice. I followed the recipe down to details. The app stated the recipe would only be 525 calories per serving. But when I calculated everything that went in to the recipe it’s actually 918 calories per serving. This is almost double the amount! If you’re using this app for calorie counting and making sure you hit your macros just right, think again. That’s too bad because the app had really good UI. I guess I’ll just stick with LoseIt for meal planning and using a real dedicated recipe app like NYTimes cooking to make sure I get things right. Felt like I wasted $5.99 for this.

Needs work. I’ve been using the app for almost 2 weeks and I like it for the most part but it does need work. I don’t know if it’s just my phone but when I swap out recipes it doesn’t update to my grocery list so that makes the grocery shopping difficult. Also some of the items are very hard to find like “arrowroot starch” for example. I’m from a small town so that was impossible to find. The prep times are also far from accurate. Me and my husbands goals are to GAIN so it DOES NOT take “5 min” to prep 1 meal for 4 days where you have to trim fat off of 8 lbs of chicken, chop 17 bell peppers, cut 2 lbs of green beans down the middle and when the recipe is so big it doesn’t fit in the oven so you have to make it in lots of big batches so it takes forever. Also one last thing, like is said maybe it’s my phone but there is no decimal point on the number pad. When I’m trying to portion out our meals I have to go to my notes, write out the number, copy and paste it to the number pad.

Review I wish I had read. I tried to go through reviews to see if it was worth the subscription price and nobody seemed to touch too much on it. If you don’t get the subscription it’s very hard to customize a week worth of food planning. It’s about $9 a month. I have mine set to “pantry staples” which is supposed to be the most cost effective planning option. For two people, 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack) 7 days a week, it’s costing me about $75-$120 a week in groceries at Walmart. Just to give you an idea incase budget has any sway in your choice for this app. A lot of the recipes have been very bland so far, even with extra seasoning added, some are okay and all are edible, just not the most tasty things I’ve had. I haven’t had anything I hate just yet and nothing that taste downright bad, just bland. I’m sticking with the app right now because even with the down sides, it’s helped make grocery shopping easier and takes all of the guest work out of figuring out what we want to eat for dinner every day.

Not bad so far, some downsides. I’m still in my trial week and am not 100% sold on purchasing this app yet. Mainly because of the following: 1. When customizing meals (I.e. swapping out certain days for new choices rather than having the same meal all week), it appears the grocery list isn’t updating automatically. As a result it was a pain to go back in and correct my shopping list once I noticed. 2. In the spirit of not eating the same meal each day/night, I was expecting the app to present “swap” meal options that would be comparable in carbs / macros to the original meal; however It appears this isn’t happening so I can’t tell how much I’m going over / under unless I manually calculate it. 3. I don’t see where my macros goals / actual numbers live - it would be helpful to have a meal plan tailored to my macros goals and only see food options / swap out options that fit within my daily macros. 4. I don’t see a dairy free preference option and a lot of the recipes have dairy (I’m dairy intolerant). I do like that you can add your own recipe; however you have to manually enter in the macro info. I find myself having to cross reference other apps that do have this info I order to actually enter it into this one. I like the overall concept of this app but not certain it’s worth the money just yet.

Love it! But limited customization for your own recipes. I love the integrated shopping list aspect when you pick meals. It saves me so much time by adding all the ingredients cumulatively across all the different meals for the week. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because there’s limited customization for your own recipes you input in. It’s great that we can put in the macros but I would at least like to be able to put in what ingredients are in my recipes so that it auto generates in my shopping list as well. For now, I have to write out a separate shopping list when I want to cook my own recipes. It would also be great if you could add the ability to delete your recipes if you add one on accident - I’ve done that a couple of times 😅 If these features gets added, it would be perfect for all my needs!!

Less food waste. Great for couples.. Short story: worth the $$. More info: -Since April it has been a 360 in terms of tossing food out bc of making too much or not using ingredients. Wanted a sustainable healthy approach. Down 25lbs since we started. - We don’t meal prep. What we cook for dinner is next days lunch. Make bfast & snacks morning of. To save sanity all bfast & snacks are same all week. Every Saturday I plan & order groceries for week ahead. - I order my groceries online using the shopping list feature to guide me. Saves me time, sanity, money, & impulse buys. - LOVE that you can browse other plans looking for recipes. So I’ll cook meat/flexible plan Sunday & Monday. Then cook vegan plan/pescatarian plan Tuesday-Friday. - We travel a lot and the eat out suggestions helps. - Game changer is the app counting macros & splitting recipes for two people!!!! ♥️♥️ Hope you can add in your own recipes easier in the future. Currently I’m so happy. Hope this app stays around for a long while!

Game changer!. Has literally made my life easier, more healthy, less overwhelming, feasible, maintainable and the LIST GOES ON! Once I familiarized myself with the process, and had the app for a few weeks just playing around with it, it has officially become a staple in my week. The recipes are delicious and easy, new recipes come out often, the shopping list is crazy awesome, it calculates your servings automatically, and allows you to have your spouse factored into meal prep. I got it synced up to the lose it app and it’s just been a gamer changer. And there’s a Facebook group to support each other in this journey. If you’re on the fence, I can tell you hands down the best meal planning app to use! Thank you to the MealPrepPro team!

Very Few Recipes. No matter which plan you choose, there are very few recipes. Maybe a dozen for lunch/dinner (same recipes there) and a dozen for breakfast, a dozen for snacks. They say you can add your own recipes, but not really. You can add the name and the nutrients. Far cry from being able to import or truly add your own recipes, which should be a given for meal prep software. You can’t create a true shopping list without custom recipe ingredients. If you could import recipes like most every other recipe or meal planning software out there, then this would be great. It also doesn’t seem to add up increased add on person portions of ingredients. So, I had 6 of us on the same calorie amount and 1 person was 1/8 tsp vanilla extract. 6 people was 1/2 tsp. No, it should be 3/4 tsp for 6 people eating the same calories. Iran into this with every calculation it performed. I thought the update would fix this problem but it didn’t. So you can’t count on this software to give you a correct recipe, correct nutrition, correct shopping list or to let you add your own in for shopping etc. it’s truly bad. The premise is great, but it doesn’t live up to the hype or the hope.

Love it!!. Coming from a big family I always struggled on how to portion and shop for one, this app is a life saver. It does all the hard work for me and the recipes are delicious! Things I never would've discovered or cooked for myself. I don't own a scale, and track my weight loss by measurements, and I've found that I've lost an inch in my waist and 3" in my hip (1 WEEK!!! ) AMAZING! my partner has a different with schedule than me, so I absolutely love the feature that allows you to select which meals your partner will be eating. I've only had a few mishaps with the recipes (zucchini cakes, I'm looking at you. It wasn't portioned right between the dry ingredients and the liquids). However, still delicious. I've recommendation I would give to the developers is to adjust the shopping list to show how the ingredients are used (such as chopped almonds instead of just almonds, or specifying a variety of colors of bell peppers, as suggested in the recipe, instead of just "bell pepper"). Other than that, I can't give this app enough stars or thanks!

No complaints whatsoever!. I’ve been using this app for about two weeks and I continue to be impressed by it daily! The setup is ideal for someone like me who wants someone else to put everything together but still have the ability to swap out certain meals. I also love that it calculates the exact macros every meal so that I don’t have to worry about using another app to calculate my macros for the day. The shopping list is perfect and intuitive. I reached out to customer support for an issue I had on my end and they were so kind and quick to resolve the issue. I cannot say enough good things! This is definitely one of the most useful apps I have ever used!

LOVE the new Mediterranean diet. I got MealPre Pro a couple of years back mainly to help coordinate meal prepping. The app is simple, easy to use. Check. Has a ton of great recipes. Check. Has a nicely organized shopping list with easy check off and ability to add items. Check. Easy to scale recipes up or down. Check. Ability to add a partner. Check. I ended up shying away after a little while because life and, although I try to be healthy, I’m not a protein powder kinda person. I came back after noticing the new Mediterranean meal plan. And I’m seriously loving the new plan. No protein powder! Just simple, healthy meals with quality ingredients. I have two small hopes for future updates: 1. Search/sort/filter the freezable tag. I like the freezable tag on the meals and would love to be able to sort by that when searching/swapping recipes same as prep time. 2. Add ingredients to personal recipes. I think this is a larger ask, but I would love to be able to add the ingredients for a personal recipe that could then be pulled into the grocery list. 2 1/2. Personal recipe scaling - I wouldn’t mind a slightly tedious recipe entry if it would also allow for ingredient amounts that would scale up/down. LOVE THE APP!

For the people who want to have a good body.. To give some context about me: I am a novice weight lifter who wants to get under 10% body fat. I’ve gone though the ups and downs of my nutrition: craving sweets, wanting higher fat foods, not being satisfied etc. So I wanted to find an person who could help me create a balance between satisfaction and discipline. The FitMenCook app was the first thing I found. It having great recipes for a very small price, and all within an app on my phone. It then sent me to this app, where I bought a subscription plan for meal prepping. Now it’s job to create a list of meals is great and it’s variety is great. However, the only thing I feel this app needs is a customized macro application. Currently, one can only have a preset amount of fats, carbs and protein. Giving more flexibly to this would be great. This is the reason why I only give it 4 stars.

Love the meal planning hate the app features. I love the meal planning but I really need this app to update some features. For example, I choose to create my own recipe, well macros, can’t add recipes and on the days I select the meal I created, I can’t swap it again. This doesn’t allow flexibility even though I may need it some days. The developers should also consider allowing a connection to other health apps such MyFitnessPal for recipes and to double check nutrition on meals. Not all ingredients from the app are created equally so it would be nice to double check and be able make substitutions to the meals. For example, I hate brown rice but love cauliflower rice, would love to substitute it, save my carbs for a snack. Also the shopping list misses items sometimes or it doesn’t calculate what I need correctly. Lastly, the how to portion is wayyyy off sometimes. I was told to check cook 1 lb 3 oz of quinoa raw, once cooked it told me to split for myself and spouse, I still had 1 1/2 cups left after dividing. Same thing happened to me when cooking brown rice. Always end up wasting food or me not getting enough. Anyway, love having a plan to get me through the week but I want more from the app.

Weight loss Plan. For years I have struggled with trying to lose weight I have tried multiple programs but nothing seem to work. I finally came to a realization that I was going to need a meal plan, but the problem was there was just too many meal plans that got boring. With this plan I love that you can swap things out, remove certain ingredients and it comes with a grocery shopping list. That makes my life so much easier. Not only am I able to adjust the ingredients and the recipes according to my allergies but also around my husbands preferences so I don’t have to cook multiple meals in one evening. I am absolutely in love with this app and I’m telling so many people about it

Best meal prep app ever!. 1 word…EFFICIENCY!!! The biggest problem I have when wheel prepping is that the recipes I know cook at different times in different temperatures in the oven. Second to that, most dishes require different ingredients that are used in multiple meals. What I love about this app is that the weekly plans combine meals that cook at the same temperature which drastically cuts down on time. Also, many of the ingredients in one meal are used in another for the same day. I have been following fitment cook for a long time and I’m so proud of how this product has evolved… I tell everyone about this app.

Love it but needs some updates. I love this app. I’ve done a full week with the lose weight option and lost four lbs. Pay no attention to those saying the macros aren’t appropriate. Macros in this app can be adjusted according to what works for YOU and that’s what’s important. Not what the standard American diet (SAD) says. I believe that this app could be more clear on how to split meals between multiple people. My dinners are kind of a guesstimate on what I should eat by seeing what the weight is when just one person should eat. Love the add the ingredient list to make a shopping list. Maybe should be paired with like grocery store delivery so you don’t even have to think about it! Also, some ingredient amounts are just ridiculous, so I should be able to search for common ingredients to reduce waste. I mean, I’m not buying 0.6 oz of arugula!! And I do need way more snack options

Needs improvement. 90 meals are chicken. You also cannot modify your macros to your specific need. Update: I don’t think what I said was clear based on developer response 1. There is no flexibility with creating macros when editing it yourself-protein, fats and carbs are set within a certain percentage range and for someone who needs to change it for weight loss and muscle gain makes it challenging 2. When I do get CLOSE enough to setting my specific macros, literally 90% my meals are chicken, even when I have selected I am ok with other types of meat. The breakfast menu is lacking as well. 3. The flexibility plan and the high protein plan does not at all give the correct macros by a long shot and I would find myself way off course with the specific macros that I want. 4. There are no values for other macros such as amount of cholesterol, potassium, etc in food. 5. You cannot scan barcodes of food to add to recipes, you have no option to edit recipes, the option to add a meal is lacking and the least we could have is a search bar available with foods (ex. Fruits, dairy, etc) we can add to our meals 6. It would be nice to have the ability to add calories burned during exercise calculated in the macros also. I find it frustrating to have to pay for something that should be free or updated with the basic feature it offers.

Great food, but Portions are way too big!. I will first preface with the fact that I don’t use this app regularly, but there are some weeks I use this app to prep the entire week for. I love the shopping list and being able to mark off ingredients you have bought and prepared. The biggest problem I face with this app is the portions. Based on my weight and height the app suggests I eat up to 1800 calories which isn’t unreasonable although a little high based on my low exercise. With this I would expect the portions to be relatively small but for even the 3 day meals I make enough that at a glance I feel like I could eat for a whole week. I notice this even as I use the grocery shop list because I buy much more food than I would on my own. I would rate at five stars because the app is very nice and easy to use and the recipes are much better than I would make on my own, but as it is the portions upset the balance of everything else in the app. If I physically can’t finish all the food I prep for the given days I am supposed to eat, then I have to wait longer before I prep my next batch of food. I also spend longer eating the same food! Which I don’t mind, but I know others definitely would. I feel as though even my settings are for weight loss, I will be gaining weight at the rate this app expects me to eat!

Absolutely phenomenal!. This is the first app I have ever rated and reviewed. That being said, I started out with an iPhone 4 many moons ago and am now up to the 10. This app is hands down the best I have ever used. I’ve tried several of these type of apps for meal prep or even just inspiration or ideas. None really bad, just didn’t fit my lifestyle etc. Kevin has this one nailed down. I love love love it and yes, I did my 7 day trial and decided this would be perfect for me. You can’t beat it. Everything is normal food made delicious and no weird stuff. If you have dietary restrictions, he has it all set up. If you’re unsure, give the 7 day trial a shot. I’m about as cynical as they come and I’m delighted to open this on Sunday morning with my coffee and plan for the week. A huge THANK YOU for taking the time to do this. It’s been so helpful and the food is delicious! Keep the good stuff coming!

Nice app but I got some suggestions. In the shopping list, let the user convert between exact weight and general approximation. For example, instead of showing “2 potatoes”, have an option to show the original weight. Also, sometimes I’d rather cook only one portion and not the entire week so that I could eat it fresh. It’d be nice if you have the option to switch to the ingredients for 1 portion instead of the whole week. Otherwise, great app and good job Kevin! Update: new update is great, more suggestions: For the ingredients, maybe specify recommendations of products that match the recipes macro. For example, for the whole wheat tortilla, specify what brand you use to calculate the macros because the are so many brands out there with different macros! Overall, I love the app.

Great idea, very easy BUT not accurate. This is an AMAZING idea. Love that meals are preselected and fit your macros. It has saved me a ton of time. However, after tracking these meals in MyFitnessPal, it always puts me 30g of protein under and 10-15g of fat over. I think its due to inter-food variability. For example, am i using Dave’s Killer bread or some other brand? The other issue I wish could be fixed is the ability to import favourite meals from the FitMenCook app. I think its from the same Owner and I’ve used the other app for 2 years now. Have saved a bunch of staples on it which I would love to import easily. Another issue I have with this app is my grocery bill has skyrocketed since using it. I used to eat the same calories/macros with much much more veggies. This app has reduced my veggie intake and greatly increased the amount of meat I eat (reason for increased cost) - which is odd since my protein goal was always met before this app. Some confounding variables i imagine are my partner is trying to gain weight so she’s added as a second person who needs to eat 60% of the meals’ portions leading to more meat consumption. However, she also used to meet her macro goals before the app (probably from protein powders more so than meat).

Room for improvement. I want to love it but I can’t . This app is good. It makes meal prep run smoothly. However, I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of frustrating parameters. For the most part, there are some things I would prefer to eat that either doesn’t fit in the swap criteria or doesn’t take into account the type of dietary restrictions Im under. I know I can substitute things but the caloric count changes which messes with my weight loss goals and balanced diet. I would love it if I had a choice as to what I want included in my weekly meal and then the rest of the week is planned around it. Like I’d like to be give the option to pick three recipes Id like to see in a week of meal prep. Then have the entire week planned with those meals included somewhere. Then I’d like to have the option to still swap if there are things I don’t favor ie. rice, chicken, mushrooms 😷

Shopping list transfer to more grocery store apps. I love the app. I have been looking for something like this for a while. Especially the partner functionality is very useful since both my wife and I can pursue our nutrition goals separately in the same meals and recipe. It tells you how to portion it out. I wish it had the ability to add more people to the plan like children. My main complaint is the shopping list doesn’t connect and transfer to different grocery store apps (such as Walmart) like Mealime does. They could easily add that functionality (along with adding more people to the meal plan) and the app would be perfect.

Most delicious meal preps anywhere!. I don’t usually leave reviews for apps, but this app is honestly spectacular and deserving of recognition. My son is gone from university due to the pandemic and I’ve been helping him out with his meal preps. Generally any recipe site is kind of hit or miss, some recipes are good and some not so much. This app, however, is stellar! Not only are the meals quite simple to make, but they taste absolutely delicious! I’ve made nine or ten now, all different kinds and categories, and every single one has been outstanding. I’ve just finished the beef stroganoff one and I’m actually sending my husband back to the store for more steak so I can make the same recipe for us. Holy crap it’s good. I mean like incredibly good. Better than any other stroganoff recipe I’ve ever made good. And that has been the case across all the recipes I’ve made using this app. If anyone is sitting on the fence about buying this app, then get off the fence and buy it. There’s no way you’ll be disappointed. Macros done, taste delivered - perfect.

Helps me stay accountable. Thanks so much Mealprep pro! I have been using your app for a few months now and loving how convenient everything is and how quick and easy meal prep can be - I am on track with my macros and feeling great! I’d love to see more Brekky options with overnight weetbix or poached eggs , maybe a take on eggs Benedict? Or a few ‘fakeaway’ hacks like maccas McMuffins or KFC zinger burgers???

So close to perfect!. This app is an amazing time saver, and has a great mix of recipes. It would be even better if building a plan would let you customise a bit more - list what days you want what meals, different cooking frequency for different meals etc. A seasons filter for recipes would also be helpful!

A solid meal prep app. I enjoy using MPP because the recipes are interesting and tasty. Most are quite simple to make and it means I don’t have to fall into a rut with my cooking. I can change how many times a week I cook and to date we have only had one recipe that’s not been great out of many I’ve tried. It’s improved my husbands diet without him knowing and it’s meeting my needs for interesting meals that tick nutrition boxes for my training. Best app yet I’ve tried over the last few years.

Does what it says, but could do so much more. Hands down one of the best meal planning and prep tools for a simple, step by step breakdown styled delivery. I still think that the subscription is kind of a premium price point, but definitely tilted toward the value for money angle. What more it could use within the same package is the ability to custom add random items consumed through the day - I’m talking about something as basic as a standard coffee which I’m sure most users would like the ability to add and track alongside the water and macros.

Good app but costs money. I can tell from the planning and account making Proccess that this is a very good app for dieting and very specific for your needs. However I’m a child and I can’t pay for an app, so it would be great for a free version with some features cut out and ads to make up for it being free

Life is easy with this app. Love it. Been planning on making an app to split up food between two users different calorie requirements but it's been done for me 👌only thing I need now is more variety and more recipes as well as being able to download the app on my partner's device on a different Apple ID and not pay for a second subscription and link the accounts so we both have access to plan our week and have a shared shopping list

Wrongly charged. I cancelled the subscription from the trial as found the recipes very limited. I’ve since been charged a year long subscription which is hefty given the lack of recipes and flexibility in adding new ones. Really unhappy & have contacted apple.

Fantastic!!. This app is the best. I have been using it for over a year and it never fails to please. I am forever grateful to the wonderful team who developed this gem of an app and I’ll be using it faithfully to achieve my nutrition goals. Super!

ALMOST PERFECT. what an awesome app, the presentation and how easy it is to use, amazing !! I love it If you guys could implement the following things would be incredible!’ - a few more recipes with a bit more variety would be amazing - ability to add ingredients and pictures to your own recipes - ability to swap out ingredients within recipes for example plant protein instead of whey protein or blueberries instead of blackberries - having macro goals at the top where the bar gets closer to it once you tick off your meals instead of the bar getting closer to your meal plan

Worth every cent!. This app beats any other meal prep app and I’ve tried a lot, you can change your diet type, if I’m on a budget I use pantry staples, if I am doing a fitness challenge I do high protein, Mediterranean is my favourite and so many others. I add my family members and weigh the food, it tells me how much for each person according to our ages and goals. You can freeze them, put in your dislikes, and I’ve used it for over a year and only one meal ever did I not enjoy! It’s brilliant!

not even worth your time if you are on a budget. Is not budget friendly can you bring I a mode where you put in what food do you have instead of overpriced recipes it’s not even worth it you call this budget meal this is middle class not lower class Meals I think I’ll be cancelling my subscription updated at once And also drop the subscription price is a little lower to make it more affordable for the budget kind think outside the box you have the upper class the middle class and the lower class why don’t you base your subscriptions on that and affordability. Then I’ll be listening 👂

All you need in one place. This app is by far the best meal planner I’ve used. It’s super customisable and easy to use. I like that you can actually select different diets as well. It’s really good for organising your meals so you can eat healthier with less effort. I can’t sing its praises enough, it’s invaluable when everyone in the house is always working. With this the food decisions are made for you, and you can choose how often you want to cook

More plant based recipes please. This app has nailed every feature I want but is now lacking somewhat in the recipe variety for the plant based diet. Without more recipes (one example is something that includes pasta) I’ll probably end up cancelling my subscription which I really don’t want to do. 🙏🏽

Quite good. Able to make up easy.

Best app ever. I’ve lost 11 kg in fat and gained muscle mass thanks to the help of this app. Don’t hesitate just sign up and follow the instructions to feel better and look better then ever.

Best meal prep app around. Love this app! Super easy to use with a huge range of recipes! Meal prep pro is a great way to keep track of calories, macros and at the same enjoy a variety of delicious meals

Great concept!. Looking to add variety and nutrition to my current bulking diet, I downloaded this app as a big supporter of Kevin and the FitMenCook brand. Unfortunately as a young single user living in Australia, most of the meal pairings were not suited to my budget which led to me cutting corners on my very first shop. Will not continue beyond the free trial but definitely inspired to plan my own meals around the recipes from FMC!

New Year’s resolution. Easing into new year with healthy eating made easy

Possibly THE best meal planning app. I’d almost given up trying to find a meal planning app that ticked every box. So I’m grateful I stumbled across this and gave it a go! I rarely pay for things after a trial but I will be signing up stat to use this as part of my weekly toolkit. I love the functionality, the user experience and how simple everything is. Best of all the meals are actually delicious and I don’t get that awful ‘diet plan’ vibe that were all trying to shake from the 90s. The only thing that could be improved is a couple of the recipes have unrealistic gram expectations, but I’m quite happy to add a bit here and there as needed. (Also if you’re wanting to reach a wider demographic I’d consider a slightly longer trial) Highly recommend and have shared with others who are now using it too. Well done developers 👏

Can’t use app for free, collects info before hand. Pity that I cannot use this app for free and that you didn’t let me know, but what makes it worst is the fact that I had to create and account, share my info about my health and age, and then only got told that you have to subscribe to use the app. Not good at all, they take your info to sell to marketers and then tell you that you must pay.

Love this app. It’s makes it easy. Counting macros is hard but with this app it’s easy. And even easier when they do you shopping list for you . Love love this app

Time Saver. Does everything you need, even created a shopping list that is easily editable. Always adding new recipes often and interface is so user friendly!

Needs way more flexibility. Protein ratios are too high at times. It means my meals are essentially just meat, purely meat, with a small garnish of rice.... Also, why force me to have a snack? My snack too is nearly half of my daily carbs. So don’t force me to have a snack per day and then I can actually enjoy more carbs with my meat. I love the app but the meals I’m eating are kind of disgustingly ratioed toward way too much meat. I won’t subscribe till there’s more flexibility with stuff like ratios (just let us put a protein quota) and snacks.

Makes meal prepping simple and enjoyable !. Love it so far, and I can’t wait to see what improvements and updates that are made!

The best. This app has made my life easier ,my shape and health flattering and a healthier body ,healthier mind . Thank you 🙏

Vegan meals. This app has the potential to be great, however I feel like it is weighed down by its extremely limited selection of vegan or plant-based options. You basically have to eat the same thing every two weeks. In order for it to be worth the subscription fee I feel like there need to be a bigger and better variety of plant based meals. Please fix this!

New recipes. New recipes with meat options would be nice, a lot of the new recipes added are all vegetarian, a meat or vegetarian option for new recipes would be an improvement.

Best Meal Prep App. This is the best meal prep app I’ve installed, ever! It is everything that I have been looking for. Also, support is quick and efficient with their replies! Thank you

Love this. So easy to use and the food is great definitely dietary needs like vegetarian, Pescatarian, keto, non dairy it’s great and step by step videos if you’re not a great cook.

Waste of time. You have to give all your information, make an account, then at the very end find out you have to pay for a subscription $70 a year. Very annoying design trend that’s popular nowadays. Tell me up front next time bro

Recipes for 2 people. My partner and I enjoy using meal prep pro as it makes life very easy. The only issue we have with the app is when ingredient amounts are increased in recipes because you are cooking for two people, sometimes the amount don’t seem correct. For example the amount of spices in the cauliflower mash/soup recipe for 2 people was too much and unfortunately made the meal inedible. Now in the recipes for 2 people we are cautious with some of the ingredient amounts as stated in the recipes as it can either ruin the meal or be an overpowering flavour. Other than this issue we enjoy the app very much and it has assisted greatly with weight loss!

Easy to use and great plant based recipes. I’ve tried a few different meal apps (Eat this Much, macro trackers, etc), but this one really takes the podium with their recipes, the clean design, the ease-of-use, and really eager responses to genuine inquiries and suggestions. Try it out!

Makes life easier. I’ve been using MealPrepPro for some time now and it really does make life easier for our family. I think a nice feature would be sharing meal plans, at the moment I have to either hand my partner my phone for a while for her to check the recipes or send screenshots, but it would be handy to be able to just send her the plan for her to check when she has a moment and get back to me when it suits her. Could be a static list/multi user access or something in between. It might have other use cases like working with medical professionals too. Great app, use it all the time thanks :)

Great tool for personal trainers!. I use this app for my personal training clients to help with their goals, it’s been a great tool and gotten great results for some of my clients! Love the variety of meals available.

Super satisfied. The meals are all really easy to create, tasty, and healthy. I just love how easy it is to use this app. I truly recommend it.

Best meal prep app. Hands down the best app I’ve used so far. Very exciting new feature coming up too which will make it even better than best. Good job guys!

GOOD & Helpful. Before this app cooking was a burden but now it’s one of my Favourite things to do! Also fitmencook is a good app by the same creator

Amazing app. If your looking for a meal prep app. Even just recipes 😊 Stop! you need this app! I’ve worked in the fitness industry for years and this is the best app I’ve ever used . I don’t want to be a slave to the kitchen so I only cook once a week for 5 meals for 7 days worth sometimes six. all meals I can either freeze or make quickly in 10min ( my chosen parameters in app) The recipes are easy and really tasty . I love the versatility of this app! You can prep for one or two people and how many days you want . It has shopping lists. You can choose dislikes food intolerances, different dietary requirements. Freezer meals or ones you make fresh . It’s not just boring food. ❤️ This app also saves me money! Love love love . Thanks for making this app❤️

Best application for meal planning. Don’t worry about looking at any other apps. This is the only one you really need to worry about. There’s nothing better than be able to look at your day, week, month and break down your macros efficiently. I’ve lost weight. I’ve gained muscle mass. I’m rapt.

Great idea but needs tweaks. This has been great in theory, and I’m still subscribed. Just a few frustrations I keep encountering - firstly the measurements are in grams rather than cups which is quite tedious and impractical I’ve also noticed a few recipes are placed in “15 mins prep” so I’ve planned to make them, but then the recipe requires 1 hour of cooking. This makes planning difficult, even though the purpose of the app is to make planning easier. All in all I’m a fan but am looking forward to some kinks being worked out.

Needs more adaptability. The range of recipes, dietary preferences and meal prep flexibility is fantastic! For individuals. However I would love to see a feature where recipes indicate and can be adapted to two different lifestyles - ie. vegan options of standard meat-based meals, so my meal plan can accomodate for both individuals on the same plan and we can make much the same meals but with a different base protein source so we aren’t having to figure out which recipes can work for both, and we aren’t having to prepare two completely different week’s worth of meals.

What happened!!!??? Where’s the prep!!!?. This app has been phenomenal but what happened the the prepping section on my iPad!!? I can no longer see the step by step stages for prepping meals - EDIT - this can still be viewed by clicking on cooking mode inside the recipe screen. 5 stars awarded. Life changing app!

Like a Meal Delivery Plan without the plastic waste!. I love this app. It plans my meals and builds my shopping list with exactly what I need to make awesome dishes - just like a home delivery meal system but without the waste of individual serve portions. More cost effective. Keeps you within your caloric goals. Completely customisable for allergy’s and food preferences. I’m vegan and there’s loads of great recipes that suit me. Well done guys!

Amazing app with amazing meals!. I have been using MealPrepPro for a few months now and absolutely love the product, I use it weekly and it provides me with delicious meals that are perfect for my macro requirements.

So quick and easy. Have been using the app for a week now and finding the meals so easy to prepare and delicious. Excited to see what is planned for next week.

Great. The app is fantastic! But having a few problems with the quantities. When I’m setting up the quantity for 3 days it gives me the quantities for 4 days hopefully you guys can sort this issue out. Otherwise Recipes taste amazing!

Life change. Amazing app, great recipes and helps to plan, purchase, prepare and eat healthy ahead of time. Love that they bring out new recipes all the time. Also love you can tailor it to your needs - from your diet needs, preference of recipes (I usually pick Mediterranean) and how often you want to cook. A+++ 👏👏

Meal prep pro is the best meal planner ever. Still loving the recipes after using app for months now , keep up the excellent work and I have and will be referring this app to anyone I think will benefit from using it 👍🏼

Not great for plant-based recipes. I downloaded this app and accepted the 7 day free trial but cancelled as soon as I saw the lack of good plant-based recipes... Spaghetti Bolognese...... A tempeh sandwich.... Banana and peanut butter on rice cakes.... really? These are really simple things that most people would barely need a recipe for let alone a recipe that is expected to be paid for after 7 days. Overall the concept for this is great but its honestly just not that hard to find much better recipes for free online.

Beat meals ever!. My partner keeps telling me how great the meals are! I love it! One thing that would be good is, when cooking something for dinner it would be great to be able to select instead of having it for several dinners but pick something for dinner an then select it as lunch’s to use for prep

Great app. I really like the way this app is designed, it's really easy to use and the recipes are not super complicated and don't require super out there ingredients. It's also easy enough to swap things out. One thing I'd love as an addition would be a complication for the Apple Watch that lets us "close rings" for macros or something like that! The Apple Watch app is beautiful in and of itself but getting some other info at a glance would be lovely. Thanks!

No access without subscription. Don’t waste my time! If you require a subscription to see the app that should be stated. And no, in app purchase is not descriptive enough.

MealPrepPro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Helps me with my daily lunches and occasional dinner meal prep. Great recipes and easy to use! Give it a try. P. S. Been using this app for 2+ years and I’m still enjoying it 😊

Worthless crap app full of in app purchases. I didn’t recommend this app full of in app purchases and subscriptions worthless and developer didn’t care about the app working. Pro subscription is crazy costly. Money is not everything developer 👎👎👎👎👎

Macro calculator not accurate. Pros: -Easy app to use -lots of variety -friendly to all different types of lifestyles -recipes are easy to make -organized Cons: I think this app could improve on the macro calculator -I don’t find the macro calculator is entirely accurate. If you switch your recipes around, I don’t find the macro calculator picks up the recipe changes; and does it not update the macro numbers accordingly. I have tried to input the recipes on a manual macro calculator, and the results are much lower than what the app shows you. Otherwise, a good app and probably one of the best out there! -the app provides very little information on how to portion the recipe it provides you. I think this app could improve with the portioning of the meals. For those who stay on top of your macros, be sure to double check on another macro calculator!

Great app, love it!. Great app, loving the fun recipes and shopping list feature! Makes healthy eating fun and exciting! Keep up the good work. :)

No way of adding my own recipes.. I was looking for a menu planner that would work with my Google Calendar. I enjoy my own recipes.

Love the app!. Love trying new recipes and they’re so delicious too

Snack ideas. I love this app! One thing, I would love to see more snack ideas.

Amazing Meal Prep App. This app is truly a blessing for busy people, and people who are health conscious alike. It’s so intuitive and it’s a major help to be able to track my macros and still enjoy an endless array of foods. All sorts of cuisine available to choose from, along with quick recipes, more extensive meals, and freezeables as well. Love this app!

3.0 upgrade. How this app could pass QA? I updated it and immediately I can see 3 bugs and missing features from the previous version. In current state the app is unusable for me. I am very disappointed. Bugs: - app for some reason duplicated people on my plan - meals on prep tab are duplicated and it doesn’t show the same meals as I can see in the detail - I can see the developer menu, which I can assume is for internal use only Missing feature: - I cannot switch food for some days only. I.e. if I have a banana for 7 days, I cannot switch three days for an apple. I have to switch all seven days for the apple. In the previous version it was possible. And there will be more. This is not a cheap app, I hope you’ll fix it fast. Edit: Changed rating from 1 star to 3 after finding about the feature to add meals to meal plan.

Great app. Amazing app. Delicious meals. Regular and useful updates. I have been using the app for many years now. I recommend it to everyone that wants to achieve a healthy goal. Thank you to the team of MealPrepPro. My only regret: updates won’t work on old iPad anymore, so I have to use my iPhone to get all the updates.

Way off!. So at 439lbs & 6 feet tall the app told me I need to eat 3,700 calories a day to loose weight! Not even close!

Unintuitive. It won’t allow me to actually change the portions. It keeps defaulting to 3 days even after changing it to two. Do not download if you actually want to create a custom meal plan.

Immediately charged $65. I was immediately charged for the free trial, Apple will refund but not the $7 tax. This is becoming a huge issue with Apple, they do not refund the tax so if you are charged like this you still lose money. It's insane. Stay clear of this app.

Not enough customization. If you are a vegetarian or enjoy meat free meals this app has none. If you have dietary restrictions you can’t automatically remove those recipes so your constantly sorting through these recipes to find ones you want. If they changed those things it would be a wonderful app.

Best Meal Prep App!. Fairly new to this app but loving it so far! Easy to use and great recipes. Only suggestion I have is where quantities are adjusted for meals like sandwiches, it can’t say “1-1/2” slices of bread. But it is a minor manual adjustment to be made when meal prepping. Love the app!

Meal prep pro. Thought this was going to be a pretty good app. A couple things I wish it had was actually explaining portion sizes for each day, instead of “just make a whole bunch”. Tried the trial week and using instructions provided, I ended up making way way to much food that’s just going to go to waste. I’m sure it’s good for some people but not when your really trying to cut down and get portion sizes exactly right.

Healthy and delicious meals at your fingertips!. I am a young professional with ADHD, and that can make it hard for me to choose meals and plan them out so I remember to eat regularly. This app is GREAT for making sure I get enough snacks and food throughout the day, with the bonus of great recipes and a grocery list ready to go. My partner and I have separate profiles for calorie need so the app is able to combine our meals together and makes cooking easier. And we can adjust how many times to repeat meals and move things around to keep our food interesting. Plus the app graphics are fun and rating each recipe is easy. The only thing I wish is if it remembered which fresh produce I have when I skip meals over the course of the week, to optimize their usage early on for the next week :)

Great meal plan app. It’s getting better with each update. Thanks 😊

This is another scamish app. They say you will get a reminder before the trial period is done but it’s just not true and you end up paying a full year for an app you dont even want to use. I tried writting to them to get reimburse but they only talk to you about cancelling future subscription (auto-renewal) … what a way to insult people’s intelligence. Not worth the try.

Enjoying the app. I am a busy mom of a teenage daughter. I have never been good at meal planning. This has been extremely helpful to provide a large variety (key is variety!!) of healthy meals for my daughter. I like the flexibility of styles of eating, caloric amounts, etc. We are both fans of all the recipes we have tried so far. I use it and cook on a daily basis. It makes my life much easier! Really happy I found it.

Good. Good

Making mom life easier!. I absolutely love this app. As a busy mom who is always on the go…meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking is one of my least favourite things to do. However, this app totally changes my feelings about it all. There is a wide variety of meals to pick from, it makes my grocery list so I don’t need to waste time thinking about what I need… or forgetting needed items, and the cooking instructions are also included! I recommend this app to anyone, especially busy (super) moms!

Great but more variety. Need more options especially African Nigerian meals if possible

Loving it. I truly love this app and it’s recipes!! Its so great and you dont have to spend hours in the kitchen. The only thing I would say is I wish we could add food ourselves throughout the day to add to our calories eaten! Also it would be great if we could modify the amount eaten if we ate more or less of what it says. Thank you :)

Love the new Instacart function. Amazing app. Highly recommended for macro-counting meal planners.

Best meal prep app out there. Fantastic! Easy to use, good recipes, and they prepare the grocery list for you

Worth it. Great app and definitely worth the subscription

Great for convenience, recipes could be better. I love this app for being able to put in my calories, diet type and dislike and have it generate recipients and shopping lists. Convenience factor is through the roof. The only downside is most of the recipes are super bland and sometimes with questionable cooking instructions (looking at you boiled chicken - why would I ever do this when I can bake?) This could be fixed with a few tweaks to increase spices and sauce amounts, and remove things like boiling/microwaving meat. But overall for the time it saves, as long as you’re willing to modify recipes, it’s worth it.

This app does what you want it to do. This app does absolutely everything you’d need it to do, it has made meeting my macros easy and delicious!!

By far the best. By far the best meal prep app out there... very easy to use and follow. Add your items to your grocery list with one click... that alone is worth the money to subscribe. Thank you!

Amazing recipes and easy to follow instructions. Love this app! I’ve been using the pro version for a month now and the recipes are great easy to follow and they are always adding new things

Macro needs. This app lack the ability to ask for our macro needs (example : 170g protein per day) lnstead we are limited to percentage.

The best meal prepping app. With the new custom macros, this is the only app you need for all your meals.

Price?. It doesn’t say how much it costs??

Signed up for 7 day trial. App treats you like you’ve already prepped with your meals ready on day one. Doesn’t ramp up to your first week but wastes your first week assuming the food is already done. Should have started with a shopping list for week one and had you begin prepping on day two after confirming or buying what’s needed. Not very helpful for those new to cooking.

Great app. Easy to follow recipes. Great selection of foods and something for everyone. I appreciate the option for different types of diets, and the breakdown of proteins, carbs, fats, and overall calories. Would continue to use for the foreseeable future.

In theory it’s good but.... In theory it’s good but there are a few major issues. It doesn’t let you pick the day of the week you are prepping for just how many days you are prepping. For instance I do 5:2 fasting so I only want to prep for M/W/F. If I pick three meals it will assume I’m doing these days in a row and load then up on the calendar. Also I wish you could pick a few diets to choose from. It love for it to mix in Mediterranean and Pescatarian meals. Unfortunately is you choose Pescatarian for let’s say three days of meal prep you are eating fish for two meals a day for three days! Only breakfast has a non fish option. Even the swaps all contain seafood. Seafood is healthy but not in those quantities!

HELP!. AFTER I clicked on this (didn’t see price, thought it free) I received a message, “purchasing.” ????? I didn’t agree to pay anything. ?????? BEWARE! I don’t even know where they would have talent the money from!

Much better. I wrote a review a while ago and thought I’d give another one: I love this app. It’s even better with the changes they’ve made. I can now browse other recipes that aren’t part of my plan. Some days I don’t feel like eating meat so I can swap out a meal for a vegan/ vegetarian meal. There are now more snack selections which is a relief! I’m glad they’re always improving this app. I hope they will eventually incorporate it with exercise. I definitely recommend it!

A+++. What a great app to figure out the ingredients you need for different dishes. One of the best apps on the market for cooking.

Loving it so far!. Loving the options between meal plans, and I can’t wait for more updates to come!

Good premise, recipes really need tweaking. There are things that I like about this app, and some major issues. 1 - Great for planning what you want for the week. 2 - If you plan the same meal for several days, it gives you the preparation and ingredient list for doing it all at once so that you are preparing & cooking for multiple days all at once, EVEN IF the recipe is not going to be good the second day (example - smoothies, avocado meals, salads, etc). This is not good as you waste food and time. 3 - It is very difficult to get the app to give you only one days portions for the recipe. 4 - The recipes have not been taste tested. One recipe that I followed precisely called for so much mustard that the dish was inedible, and it had called for a number of very expensive ingredients. Other recipes are severely missing in spices (things like garlic for example) to the point of being tasteless. It’s one extreme to the other. 5 - To figure out what quantity to eat each meal, you have to weigh the total, divide it by how many meals you are supposed to get, and then multiply that by how much of a percentage each person gets to find the weight to feed each person at each meal. This is onerous and difficult and easy to mix up. The recipes should be able to say how much each person eats. 6 - Most of the recipes call for a lot of exotic ingredients that are very expensive. This is not set up for the average household, but the very wealthy. 7 - Cooking times for all recipes are wrong. Raw salmon (cooked 20 mins longer than the recipe stated and it was still raw) with vegetables is not appetizing nor safe to eat. I accidentally subscribed for a month after the trial period but will not be doing so again. There are too many pitfalls with this plan. I do not recommend it.

Reaaly like it. ✨

Great app to help with eating properly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Sync. I wish this app would sync with MyFitnessPal so I can track my fitness with my Fitbit.

Not good with macros. The app does not allow for multiple meals (I eat 5 per day), not does it allow me to adjust macro content per meal or adjust the name of each meal. So for example, this is a training day: Meal 1: 32g protein, 20g carbs, 10g fat Pre workout: 32g protein, 40g carb, 5g fat Post workout: 32g protein, 40g carbs, 5g fat Meal 4: 32g protein, 20g carb, 10g fat Meal 5: 32g protein, 20g carb, 10g fat It also does not allow for me to have different macros for my non training days. If it accommodated these needs it would be a great meal planning tool.

Worth the money. If you’re trying to bulk up or even eat healthier and better this is the right app as soon as you understand how to use the basics you can add any meal into your week or even customize them by day they have large quantities of recipes ranging from few ingredients to a lot and recipes that take less then 10 minutes to prep and cook and taste restaurant quality

Definetly recommend!. This app has been a saving grace for me! I’ve tried so many different things to get my diet on track but it’s so difficult counting calories and tracking macros AND find delicious meals to fit into your meal plan. This app does ALL of that for you! I’m able to pick every meal for a whole week and generate a whole shopping list in about ten minutes! Very personalized by figuring out your approximate BMR by entering your height weight sex gender and activity level. So extremely impressed!

Great app!. This is a great app that is beautifully and simplistically designed. I would give full stars, however I have a couple of critiques: 1. Needs more food options over all. I understand this is new and always adding new food, but it is still lacking 2. I just really get the feeling that it’s not 100% accurate when it comes to the macros. I eat how much it tells me too but I don’t feel like I’m eating at least 80 grams of protein with every meal, I’m just saying I think it says you eat more than you actually do, but that’s just me. Tell me if you agree?

Day just got easier. Love this app. My girlfriend downloaded it as well since we have different weight goals. It is has saved so much time from deciding what to eat during the week AND it’s like having a personal nutritionist making sure your eating the right things to be successful. Paid for the membership and am happy I have done so. The only downside is the cost of groceries but that’s not the apps fault and honestly it’s worth the expense to have peace of mind in the kitchen.

One free trial. I ejected to try for 7 days on a one year subscription and it stated I could cancel within the 7 days and I was charged immediately. I received a response directly to my email based in my review that I must have already had a free trial during the past year. Ahhh. Okay. I still think that the recipe measurements are difficult, especially if you’re prepping and cooking for 2 people but customer service was great so I changed my rating to 4 stars.

Great app, paleo plan would be nice. I really love this app overall!! It’s helped me save time shopping and cooking. I’m a busy college student with limited cooking skills or patients. The meals are tasty and as simple as you want them to be. I like the Mediterranean diet, but I’m not able to remove dairy in this plan. The high protein standard diet also doesn’t allow dairy restrictions. I wish the app offered a Paleo option. I’ve substituted dairy with alternatives, but the recipe doesn’t always turn out that great. Overall, this is a great app!! I hope they’ll offer Paleo in future and allow a little more personalization in the given plans.

Apple Watch Complication!. I am loving this app already! I just wish that I could add this app to my Apple Watch complication! Furthermore, the reason why I took away one star is because there is no notification feature for this app and i wish it had reminders for food intake as well as water reminder! I also can’t swap meals from breakfast to lunch and vise versa. I only used the app for a day now so maybe they are hidden in here somewhere that I couldn’t find yet.

Quick, easy, healthy meals. My husband and I have been using this app for about two months and love it! We are eating so much healthier and achieving our (different) diet goals. The recipes are so easy, and we are responsible for far less waste than with the meal delivery options. We are choosing the Mediterranean diet recipes and cooking every two days. It’s working out very well for us. I love that I can easily customize the plan for the week to accommodate an occasional take-out meal, etc. I highly recommend this app.

Night and day difference in my eating!. I used to go to the grocery store and grab random things to eat, with no set plan. I would not only spend more buying unhealthy food, but also waste probably 30-40% of the food I buy each week. With this app, I use 90-95% of the food I buy, save money, and eat healthier. It takes all of the effort out of meal planning, cooking, grocery shopping, and eating healthy

Incredible meal planning app. This is an elegant and powerful meal planning app. It is highly customizable /and/ easy to use. I. Absolutely. Love. It. More: The app “sneaks up” on healthy eating. If you’re like me, and theoretically value healthy food but detest “dieting”, this app is for you. The flex plans can also help you gently introduce plant-based eating. Want to prep everything or would you rather prepare each meal fresh? THERES A SLIDER FOR THAT. Want portion weights so your partner eats 300 calories more per day? Its easy and intuitive to make those customizations. Finally, the plans are budget conscious. I spent just over $100 on a week of meals for my partner and I. (Imagine our relief after checking out that giant cart full of protein and produce.) Here. TAKE my 5 bucks. You’re actually saving me money. Genius. Possibly life-changing. Thanks. <3

Great recipes. I love almost everything about this app. The recipes look great and I love how you can create a shopping list with a click of a button. It also has the best looking recipes out of any other app I’ve had thus far. The only thing I dislike is how you can’t add activity to it. I love having recipes, calorie counting, and an activity tracker all in one app. I understand that it’s purpose is to be a meal prep planner app, but it would be super cool if an activity tracker could eventually be added, or at least an option where you can sync your health data for activity tracking to it. Other than that, great app!

Great app but I have suggestions. First of all I love this app. Been using it for about a week now. Secondly, I’d like to point out that although I’m not sure how it is for everyone else, the snack is the same cals as each meal. This is fine but if I’m eating another 500 cals id at least like the option to choose another meal instead of having to choose a snack. Another issue I have is when a recipe calls for 6 oz banana, adding it to the shopping list automatically lists it as 2 bananas. Maybe include an option to choose approx # of item / total item weight. Overall great app, very pleased.

Best App I Have. After trying a ton of apps for meal planning and cooking, this app has changed everything about my diet and overall health. I am an extremely busy person so meal prepping and eating healthy can be time consuming. Meal Prep Pro is so easy to use. You don’t have to think. You just follow what they tell you each week and everything tastes amazing! Meal planning for one person usually costs a lot and there is so much waste but most of these recipes are reasonable. I do wish there was a favorite meals section. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone who is trying to figure out how to eat well.

Thought of everything. A great team of developers backed by smart nutrition and delicious recipes. Takes a lot of the thinking out of the planning, and gives me confidence that the end result will be yummy and fit my nutritional needs. They’ve thought of so many little features to make it even simpler over time. No gimmicks or upsells. Just a super useful tool built by people who must use it themselves. Thanks team

Love this app!!. This app is amazing with all the options to customize it to your liking. Takes out all the guess work for you, the only thing you have to do is fallow through with the plan that is completely up to yourself. When its busy with a chaotic week the option to create the week with simple prep and repeat meals is a lifesaver!! The customer service is quick to respond and answer questions. Hopefully they have an anti inflammatory setting soon to even broaden the horizon more!!!

Makes Meal Planning Easy. This app does all the work for you as far as calculating macros and providing nutritional information for each meal. It features a handy calendar to alert you of when to prep, which meals should be made fresh and which you are able to freeze. One improvement I would suggest... - the ability to eliminate parts of a recipe (say in the event of a food allergy) and have the nutritional info update accordingly. If you have to make substitutions, then it throws off the macros set in place for you

Just started using it, and I love it!. I am trying to lose those pesky ten pounds but want to do it in a sustainable, healthy way. I chose to track my macros and was struggling to find balanced meals that wouldn’t throw off my whole day. With this app, you can choose the custom macros option, and how many days per week you want to cook and it makes a whole meal plan for you! It also allows you to cook for more than one person. I also love the price point on this app.

Way awesome app. I love this app. Does all the planning for me. All I have to do is cook and eat! When I first got into meal planning, the planning part was my biggest hurdle. This app makes it so easy for me with a huge selection of dishes to choose from. One suggestion I have: I use an app to order my groceries to be delivered to me. It would be nice to have a way to export my grocery list on this app so I can put it on my grocery app if possible! Currently I have to bounce back between the two. It’s not a problem or anything. Just could be more streamlined and efficient! Nevertheless thank you for a wonderful app!

Absolutely amazing. This app does exactly what I want from a meal prep app and has great recipes. I have been raving about it since I downloaded it and see it becoming a huge part of my shopping/cooking process. I have three features that would take it to 110%. 1)I wish I could tweak the planned days/meals with a little more granularity. I like the slider but I’d like to be able to to setup a plan where say lunch is prepped for a three day run, and then dinner is prepped for a three day run, with my partner added to Wednesday’s lunch and fridays dinner. Just more granular control over the plan In general 2)I’d love the ability to add additional meals or a snack section. 3) I’d love for the ability to add uncategorized meals and snacks to the daily total without swapping them in for something else. I know that’s moving towards more of a food logging app than a meal planning app but that would be enough to let me stop using the food logging app entirely.

Easier Portion Measurements. So far, we like the meals. However, the way the portions for person and partner are weird. For example, a wrap. It tells you to weigh what your meal and then gives you ounces per person. But, there are other things included in the wrap besides the meat. The recipe called for 13 and a half wraps but doesn’t tell you how to portion that part out per person. So, there’s no way I could have portioned that properly. It makes more sense to say one person eats one wrap and the other eats one and a half. Something more realistic. Having to re weigh everything after cooking makes way more mess and takes more time.

Plans based on macros. I have been using the app for about 6 months now and have loved it so far! I’m starting to base my diet more around tracking my macros rather than calories and it would be nice to have the option to enter that I want to hit 210 G protein, 89g fat, and 390g carbs and have a plan based off of that rather than say I want to hit 3100 calories. Also I have noticed that going off of proteins and carbs being 4cals/g and fats 9cal/g my plans are coming on 100 calories over my daily calorie goal

Could be so much better. I am so disappointed at this app. I had researched so many different similar apps prior to purchasing, and decided on this one thinking it was going to provide everything I wanted. At first it was great – I especially appreciate that it creates a shopping list for you, which is what I wanted – but it’s all the same recipes over and over. For what they’re charging, their staff should be constantly updating with new recipes. Further, some of them are really not recipes – sorry folks, but “nuts and berries” is not a recipe. I don’t need your help with that.

So much potential. This is a really really good app. It’s missing one major key bit of functionality. While you can add your own “recipes” complete with nutritional information to your own personal library of recipes, you cannot add ingredients to those “recipes”. It’s name and nutritional information only. This means you cannot use your recipes to generate a shopping list, or for it to be included/excluded based on allergies and likes/dislikes. I cook for multiple people that aren’t home with me everyday. I need to be able to generate a shopping list that meets everyone’s needs, not just mine.

This is a great app!. This app has saved us a ton by planning our meals for the week. We don’t order out nearly as much and we an save money by having a plan. It keeps us eating healthier too! The grocery list is super helpful, and I like that I can plan meals for more than just one person. My husband can easily follow th recipes if I’m stuck at work and thy’ve all been so good! I highly recommend this app!

Its okay. I wanted to love this app. It has nice interface and it did made easier or at least thats what thought. If you have no allergies. This is a great app. But if you have allergies it can makes things hard to find anything to cook that you may like and essentially if you cook for other tastebuds. It’s very limited in the recipe collection in that regard. Could offer better substitutions and choices. The app is constantly over calculating vegetables based how many meals and people. Wasted time and money on it.

Wanted to love it, seems to have problems for a family of four. I like it, I don’t love it. Seems better for just one or two people. Shopping list seemed inaccurate to the ingredients used and ended up overbuying on a few items by quite a bit. Not practical to choose cook every two days and then scale up recipes for a family of four-I don’t have enough pans big enough to accommodate almost 40 cups of ingredients. User interface is excellent, very intuitive with a smart layout. Worth a try, especially if you are a solo or couple but maybe not practical for families.

Nice app but..... I'll give it three stars because everything is great, it's easy to understand and you can even change the meals. You can also add someone to join you, but the only problem here is that it only divides the portions of the already cooked food, you don't know exactly how much each person gets, let's say I'm going to cook rice with chicken and vegetables, I would have to mix everything and then weigh it to see how much each one gets, even so it would be random, I suggest that you put the quantities of each one and not all together to be aware of how much to serve according to our objective.

Great app and friendly. I love the app and it’s meal swapping, diet choices, cooking mode and many things about it. It does require the user to be more intimately involved in the app itself to get the most out of it and avoid mistakes. Making it even more user friendly would make it available for more time crunched athletes. The shopping list selections mostly. If the user isn’t careful, a shopping list for an extended period or the wrong period can be made and when you get home to cook, you realize that you have too much food or the wrong food. Otherwise, a great program with variety and plenty of customization options.

I LOVE this app. I have been bodybuilding for 7 years now and meal prepping/searching for new recipes have been the one thing I despise as part of this hobby. This app is worth every penny it will give you custom plans, recipes, and presets based on lifestyle choices and it gives you meals down to the calorie count AND grocery lists down to the ounces of what you need. It saves me hours of work each week and the meals are delicious. I never rate apps but this app is pure gold.

Oki doke. On free trial week still, so far so good! 2/3 recipes weren’t super difficult to make.. I am under the plant based plan and hope to see more options added as the app progresses. The ratatouille was a bit difficult to make, requiring a very big pot to make enough for the week for 2 people. The app did not specify what color bell peppers, and didn’t use quantity in the recipes. I don’t know how many bell peppers 6 oz is! Overall recipes are very tasty. First week was formulated for all tofu... which resulted in 18 lbs of tofu being bought and consumed ! Next week I’ve hand picked the recipes more thoroughly than this.

Macronutrient ratios are unhealthy and imbalanced.. I’m a skinny dude who doesn’t know much about nutrition, has never counted macros, and doesn’t go to the gym, but even I noticed that the macronutrient ratios seemed imbalanced. The “standard” plan, which I chose, came with 40% protein, 30% carbs, and 30% fat. However, I looked up the USDA guidelines and found that, for adults, the recommended Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Ranges (AMDR) are 10-35% protein, 45-65% carbohydrate, and 20-35% fat. Surprisingly, even the “High Carbs” option on MealPrepPro has a lower carbohydrate percentage than the lower end of the recommended guidelines of the USDA for adults. The imbalance in the MealPrepPro macronutrient distribution is very concerning to me because the USDA has stated, “If an individual consumes below or above this range, there is a potential for increasing risk of chronic diseases shown to affect long-term health, as well as increasing the risk of insufficient intakes of essential nutrients.” It’s misleading to those of us who don’t know much about nutrition to promote a clearly imbalanced diet as “standard.” It’s infuriating that, not only does MealPrepPro not use the USDA standard guidelines as its own “standard” diet plan, but it does not even offer it as an option.

Amazing app, but slightly flawed.... This app is just what I need to start prepping meals and losing weight (already losing weight by the way). The recipes are super tasty and the instructions are fairly simple to follow. However my biggest issue is when it comes to cooking the meals with the required tools. For example by comparison with the app “Fit Men Cook” the recipes gives exact measurements for cooking equipment as a serving such as muffin tins or Jars where as this app the volume varies from person to person (both apps are developed by the same developer and I use the “fit men cook” app for scaling portions into the containers) so the amounts required in one portion may overfill your jars, cupcake tin or bowl

Delicious Recipes and Great Customer Service. I am so impressed with this app. My boyfriend and I have loved every single recipe we’ve made so far, and he’s very picky. Nothing is bland or dry, and the combination of spices and herbs are delicious. One major feature that I love is the intuitive recipe guidance for food allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities. Instead of omitting nearly every recipe, I am given a warning and a recommendation to find a substitution. I have tried many meal planners and this one is the most gluten and dairy-free friendly. Lastly, I contacted customer service and received a friendly response back very quickly from the developer!

Will not dissapoint!. I was hesitant in paying for an app that would just provide meals I could easily find on the internet. But I’m glad I took the plunge with this one. Every single meal has been so delicious. And it has a wild amount of flexibility. I think there is another reviewer who wrote that they wished there was an app that does XYZ. I did too, and this is the app. The only improvement I could ask for is a way to tell it that I don’t want fish for lunch, solely for office etiquette. Even then, I can just swap it!

CHARGED ME FOR A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION!!!!. I applied for the free trial. Of course I forgot to cancel it. I said to myself, well it’s alright I’ll cancel it next month it’s only 5.99 a month. Not a big deal. (I’ll spend $6 on something unhealthy any day) so I went to go cancel it before I got charged again only to find out they chose the year subscription and charged me $48!!! I am furious. For one the meals are alright but they never have the right measurements. This app is a total scam and I’m really disappointed and how they got me! If I chose a free trial and of course some people always forget to cancel and I’m thinking well it’s only 5 a month I can’t be mad when I forget to cancel..but when I go to cancel and I see they charged me $48 !! I am beyond upset. This is ridiculous! 😡

Best Investment of My Life. Not exaggerating whatsoever, best $50 I’ve ever spent for a year. This app has made simple the thing that wasted so much money and time for me in past years. I used to always buy healthy groceries then get them home and have no clue was to do with them (waste). This app matches your calories, allergies, etc. and has SO many recipes. They are always updating and new recipes every week. Great job MealPrepPro Team!

Pretty confusing. I think this is probably a great app when you’re living alone. I love that theres a way to add your partner but it’s pretty confusing when it comes to breaking down the meals per person. Im only day one lol and for one of the meals the nutritional count for sodium says 0, yet the recipe calls for salt on at least 3 of the items in the recipe. I am pretty confused on how to break down meals by percentage per person as well portioning the meals in containers. Also a few of the ingredients weren’t on the shopping list, yet Im supposed to be cooking them tomorrow. Not sure why everything wasnt included on the shopping list. Great idea, needs some major refining... but I like where it’s headed.

FANTASTIC meal prep app with a major caveat. There is one pretty significant issue that’s keeping me from giving this 5 stars: macros, specifically protein. The macros for all diets require far too much protein (most have over twice as much as is recommended for gaining weight according to guidelines from a Healthline article and several others). There’s no way to change these settings or apparently to change your weight etc metrics entered when signing up. Would love to subscribe to this but the protein is absurdly excessive — even for bulking. Until users have more control over these, I’ll be holding off :(

Best app I’ve bought EVER!. This app is really well conceived and designed. It makes meal prep so easy, and you can even add in your family members to get extra portions, so it fits into a life with kids and spouses. The recipes are delicious and easy to make, and will customize to a variety of macro or diet guidelines. The ability to export a plan to a portioned shopping list is so convenient too! Best $50 I’ve ever spent on anything health related.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!. This is hands down the best food tracking app. You start by entering in your food goals (I.e. calories & macros), then you can choose from a variety of recipes curated to meet your goals. This app goes even a step further to make a shopping list of all the ingredients and integrates to Instacart saving a trip to the grocery store. End to end nutrition app 10/10 recommend!

The best. I can’t say enough good things about this app, I honestly use it every day. It keeps me in my grocery budget, it makes eating more protein as a vegetarian SO MUCH EASIER, and it’s just awesome. I love that you can swap through all of the different diets to find recipes, and even exclude if you have an allergy. My plan is set to high protein vegetarian but I also like to modify some of the other recipes that sound good and swap the meat out for a plant based version. It’s the best meal prep app out there!

Good for me. I tried the plan where I bulk cooked everything for the week and then realized how huge the portions were. I made the breakfast for two people for 1 day and it was a lot of food. Neither one of us could finish it! I think I’ll try it next time where I cook every day. I also noticed it was hard to figure out how to portion the food. For example, one meal was the chicken noodle soup. I’d have to weigh the entire pot of soup to be able to put it in their measurement tool to figure out the portions. That’s a hassle. I didn’t measure it... all in all is a great app.

Just downloaded. Wow! I just download this app today and my wife and I planned a meal out for the week and it was so easy! We’ve been struggling with figuring out what to eat that’s healthy and this literally takes all the effort out leverage is technology and makes it so efficient from awesome recipes, which tie right into shopping lists I cannot believe I’ve missed out on this for so long. Really looking forward to having this as part of our lives. Thank you!!!

Lost 7 pounds in 11 days. This app has saved my life!!!! I tried unsuccessfully to meal prep on my own but struggled finding yummy recipes and figuring out how to shop for a meal prep lifestyle. But this took the guess work out! Love it! The only problem was a lost about 75$ worth of groceries because I refreshed my app and it deleted what recipes I was shopping for. Just keep that in mind as you prepare your meals; from now on I’ll probably take photos of the recipes just in case. But really looking forward to getting in shape with the help of this app

Great app!. I love this app - you guys thought of everything! The recipes are easy, SUPER tasty, lots of variety and whole food healthy. The app is easy to use and has a lot of flexibility so you can view and plan things in ways that meet your specific needs. Ive had a couple challenges that I’m working around - seems the recipes don’t always match the day/person portions so I end up with more food than I can eat. Example: egg casserole recipe should have been portioned for 1 person for 1 day but it made 12 casseroles. The recipe also didn’t say how many casseroles had to be eaten to achieve the nutrient macros that were indicated. Also would be helpful if the shopping list was adjusted when you make adjustments to the portion information. Overall, this app gets a 5 and I’ve recommended it to several friends.

Best Meal Prep App. I’ve become so lazy with figuring meals out on my own. cause the app is so AMAZING! Sometimes I feel like idk how to cook or count calories in my own because I depend on the app so much, for good reason! It’s a time saver, detailed, and has lots of variety! You can switch between meal plans for each food item if you need a change! Every time i think I’ll cancel my yearly membership, I don’t! It’s such a great price and the customer service is great, they are always releasing new meals and app updates for us to have a better user experience!

Good but needs work. First off great concept. My problem with the app is the recipe customizes the ingredients based on macros but it doesn’t take into account the change in cooking times when the app calculates the ratio of ingredients from the original fitmancooks recipe. For example I made the slow cooker creamy chicken and broccoli casserole, the app doubled the recipe from the original fitmancooks recipe and I used the max cooking window provided, yet there was still excess liquid, I cooked it for 3 hours longer and the consistency of all the ingredients was like pudding and I had to throw it all away. There is not a 1:1 correlation between ingredients quantity and cooking time.

Legit everything you need. This app is stunning - so beautiful, functional, and easy to use. The FAQs are even everything you would need to know! I love the recipe as EAP feature, the filtering of recipes by prep time, the diets of recipes available. I do wish it synced with MyFitnessPal to show me all the macros of what I’m eating (ex. I need more iron) but wouldn’t rate it lower for that at all since I can copy the info over. It’s legit everything you need to make meal prepping almost mindless and actually exciting

Hands down the best app for healthy eating. I love the customizable nature of the app. I’ve set it up so I am cooking ok fresh meal a day and other meals are leftovers. Lifesaver. My time on the kitchen has reduced significantly. And the recipes! I am super finicky. And so far the foods are DELICIOUS! Seriously. Best recipes ever. Oh yah...and the ingredients are common, can get at the local grocery store easily and everything is super affordable. I have never seen a better designed app or healthful eating program. Thank you to the team that created this. Life changing.

Absolutely Phenomenal. I have used this app for quite some time and they have not let me down yet. In my opinion the hardest thing about eating healthier is trying to figure out what to eat. They have so many choices and it’s geared towards everyone’s style of eating. They even help you measure out your food for meal preps. They’ve thought of everything and for that I am grateful. Now all I need is my own personal chef lol.

My meal prep pro experience.. This is my 5 week of meal prepping and I just love everything about this app. The fact that I can pick from hundreds of meals, Easy steps to cook and prep it’s just amazing, also it can calculate your meals base on the goal of calories intake ! I honestly recommend this app to anyone. My friends keep asking me how i make all those delicious meals and how I lost weight, my answer is MEAL PREP PRO! I’m not an expert but changing your diet is the mean way to loose weight. Thank you meal prep pro.

Great meal planning app w/shopping list. Love this app and save you can sync to shopping list for delivery. Recipe Directions are easy to follow and love the pics. Next version upgrade: Wish it was a little easier to do ingredient substitutions for people w food allergies or special diets. Do like there is an option to narrow down diet style . Grocery list could use a little tweaking but almost perfect. Don't need every single ingredient on list, have some items in pantry.
