Does not work with your video edits. I’ve edited a few videos on iPhone as far as size and made some invert changes and this app only allows the originals to be used for some reason. Wish it would upload videos in the way they are finished.

SUCKSSSS. Wow this app blows! I couldn’t even get past the first 20 seconds of a video before it just stopped working. All I was trying to do was add subtitles. Yeah it wouldn’t go past the first sentence. Worst app ever. Don’t get for subtitling

Horrible paid app. Where to start 1) I couldn’t easily copy and paste the subtitles to put in a word doc. None of the FAQ has any mention of this as they all want to copy it to my cloud drive which is full or a word dox, which wasn’t working. After poking at it for 20 minutes I managed to get it to google drive and copy it over to my google docs. Then came the second problem 2) I was doing reviews of places and the amount of periods, incorrect numbers and overall subtitling was abhorrent. With the amount of time I spent on this I might have well typed it up myself. I can’t believe this is a payed app Overall: ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT

Content Creator. Veme.ly is perfect for creating content on the go. The templates are easy to edit and customize. I highly recommend Veme.ly any content creator. It saves a lot of time and makes creating content that much easier.

Crashes every time. I downloaded and paid for this app for its caption ability. Every time I try to generate the captions it crashes and closes the app down. Please help. If this can’t be fixed ASAP then I would like to have my money back. Thank you.

Took my money then crashed. I paid the .99 to remove watermark. Edited a video. Exported. Received success message. Closed app. No video in camera roll. Reopened app. Pop-up message about not being able to connect to servers. Rip off.

Super Disappointed Subtitles Don’t Work. Was ready to pay full price of monthly 9.99 and very excited to finally have professional branded Instagram videos to grow my brand but should have known too good to be true. Very user friendly interface so I liked that a lot. The progress bar worked but kept saying “no subtitles found” I added the subtitles and then added the video so it should work!!! Please improve the subtitles that is the whole point of the app 😃

Makes you pay for watermark removal. Trash make me watch ads also let us remove the watermark permanently

AMAZING customer service!!. First, this app is SO easy to use. I do social media posts for an internationally known author amd speaker. I use Veme.ly to put borders and a header plus .srt captions file. I have not found ANY other program I could use and get just what I want so easily! Occasionally I run into an issue. I start a help chat amd always get a response. Recently I was having fits and Hassan called me from Canada and had me back on track in around ten minutes. Tell me another developer who does that. I don’t know one. Just fantastic.

Finally something like this exists!!. Okay seriously been waiting for something like this! Super user friendly and free!! I am a college student and a member of a number of different orgs. It can be timely and complicated to make attractive content and promotions and even costly to hire someone to do it for you (and we don’t have money like that!!) The best part is now I can make content that doesn’t need sound; I can just add subtitles (now students can watch my posts when they’re on their phone in class!) Veme.ly has changed the game okay!! Not just for growing businesses but for students like me — looking to work smarter not harder.

Says you get 5 video credits to use before paying…. Then doesn’t allow you to use them?????? God awful software anyways save your money. Tik tok does this a million times better, and the only reason i paid for this is because I couldn’t save tik toks with captions included I want my money back

Subtitles Glitching. I’ll first say that everything about this app except for the section on the subtitles is amazing and easy (although, being able to add music to a video would be a nice additional future feature if possible). Everything works fine when generating subtitles on the video, and the editing is easy enough. Though when I actually export the video, the subtitles don’t load correctly and often one subtitle will stay on the screen for a long time and it won’t transition over to the next line of subtitle. Also, text will be jumbled on top of other text as the video progresses (I have resales multiple videos several times, and the same issues happen). This only happens after exporting and saving the video, but does not happen in the app itself. If this issue was resolved, I would easily update my review to 5 stars.

They force you to update then remove features. Updated review: Yet again they force you to update and remove features. This is the second time they have done this. Clearly they don’t read reviews. If you are like me and get slightly annoyed when an app forces you to update, and then when you open up the newly updated app it turns out they REMOVED features… Then this app is absolutely not for you. ———- Original review: I hate it when apps suddenly lock you out and force you to update... then when you update the app, you open it up only to find they have removed features. (E.g. even something simple, like cropping a video) I would give this -10 stars if I could. Shame because you can tell they put a lot of thought into this. They just obviously don’t consider the customer and seemingly enjoy bullying people into updating (and then removing things when people comply). Use a different app for video memes, like mematic. They used to be inferior, but now they are better.

Resolution. This would be great if the resolution wasn’t so awful - the preview vs the actual video is terrible

Okay this app is great. This app is fantastic. And I’m really thankful to the people who made it. I don’t think there’s any other apps out there that do this in such a simple way. Automatic captions are a heavenly gift. Now. It is missing a few features that are keeping it from being perfect . The most important being some video cropping options. . Vertical videos are unusable with this app. I do see you guys have a tab to make the video bigger. But you don’t give me the option of moving it to the middle. It just awkwardly stAys on one side. I swear if y’all fix that, this app will be completely perfect. I’m getting the monthly subscription regardless cause I really need this app 😂 great work guys.

Look elsewhere. Appears to be the best app out there, but when you use it you see how glitchy it is. Almost every part of it has an error, from fake promises in the free trial, to issues with the subtitles, to errors when you’re letting them know of errors! Will look for a different app.

Lacking longer upload times. Let me say that I absolutely love this app and it is been absolutely helpful for me. The features are incredible what I am able to do is so surprising for an iPhone app. Now my major gripe about this app is that I only have an upload time of six minutes. I Create videos for Instagram TV and the most that I can upload from my phone is 15 minutes. If I want to upload longer I must upload through a desktop. If you could extend the upload feature to 15 minutes I really believe that would be a magnificent selling point and a great user experience for the Instagram television community that create content for Instagram. Currently there is not an app on the App Store that allows at least 15 minute uploads. If you ever have a desire to increase your user base and to expand your user base to the Instagram TV content creator community, make this feature available and you’ll see that it will actually take your app to the next level

CC Subtitle Difficult. It’s difficult to write out the CC Subtitle because the video freezes all the time. I’ve been working on putting a subtitle on a 15 seconds video for the past 1 hour. The video keep freezing. Please fix

Can’t generate captions. Still trying to figure out how to use the app. Though it’s not the most intuitive, I like that you can move the video layer and text headlines around the canvas. The flexibly is good. However, the whole reason I downloaded this app is to get captions for a video and the generate button is grayed out, not even a short video is offered in the free version.

Works perfectly. It works even better than I expected. It's a little hard to see the video on a small iphone tho, but i flip to fullscreen in between and that works well. Works AMAZING on my iPad . Great app for making viral video on AppStore

Great app when it works. Saving and exporting videos takes forever and frequently crashes before the video is complete. Works ok for shorter videos but anything longer than a few minutes it won’t complete saving.

Multi usage app!. This app is great, it has a lot of functional tools that come in handy when creating a video. It took a while for me to learn this app (4-5 weeks) after I kept having failed attempts to get the video how I wanted it, I reach out to the company and he Hassan was nice enough to get on video chat with me and walked me through the entire process! This app is more than subtitles!. After searching around for several apps, someone recommended this one and I love it! The tutorials are great, it becomes pretty intuitive quickly, and the subtitles are the most accurate I’ve found so far! Plus they’re easy to edit and adjust the time for. I have the intro version now, and will likely be upgrading soon. Plus if you have questions the customer support is unparalleled, they are fast to respond and very nice too.
