Doesn’t change orientation.. I love this app on my phone, but on my ipad I have quickly uninstalled it because frankly, I don’t like to use apps that won’t account for portrait vs. landscape screen orientations. It seems like such a simnple oversight that would improve usability exponentially. If this is changed in the future I will reinstall and update my rating.

Wonderful App. This is the best app I haver used for saving my recipes . Before Prepear I have tried couple Le of others apps but after using Prepear there is no looking back. It’s. It’s very easy to use and saves lots of time.

Best app around for meal planning!. I have been using this app now for almost a month and I have fallen I love with it, not only are there tons of recipes and meal plans to follow and the ability to add your own recipe in the mix too. The best part about this app is the fact that once you have picked your meals it creates a grocery list for you. I do my shopping online so it’s super convenient to flip between my list and my online shop and buy what’s needed!! Love love love this app been telling all my friends about it!!!

Great!. You don’t have to pay for anything you can but it’s not necessary especially if you’re just looking for a new recipe to try.

Love it. Easy to use

Confusing. I tried this app because I wanted to make eating and shopping for groceries more efficient. The value proposition seems fairly straight forward, until: I didn’t really understand what “cook mode” was at first, but it’s attached to a large pricetag and basically, they withhold the cooking instructions from you after you use it three times. I don’t think it’s worth the cost of the year but fair enough. There’s a marketplace for bloggers, nutritionists and I purchased a meal plan for 25 dollars and instantly regretted it. You can’t see the recipes(for obvious reasons) and a lot of them weren’t great. Even the pictures looked unprofessional for what I would consider to a digital cookbook or meal plan. Definitely feel like I’ve been ripped off here. In terms of efficiency, I can’t say that using this service is any better than just building an excel spreadsheet yourself. The grocery list feature is okay. There doesn’t seem to be an obvious way to share this stuff with anyone else in your household or nanny, it could be there but I didn’t see it. The big issue is that I don’t think this app understands who it’s targeting, because if it wants people that are willing to pay 120-200 a year for an app to make things more efficient they show no signs of it. I can tell you after exploring this app, I would be scared to use it and waste a significant chunk of my time.

Buggy & now best features are behind a paywall. When I first started using this app over a year ago, it seemed like exactly what I was looking for. I loved that I could save & modify recipes from online and share them with friends. There were numerous bugs (issues with adding photos, recipes never being removed no many how many times I deleted them or refreshed the app, no response from devs after numerous attempts to contact them about said issues), but I kept using it because it still seemed like the best option. Today, I log in to find that I can no longer view MY OWN directions on a recipe I adapted without paying for premium service. Given that the issues I’ve add with the app from Day 1 still have not been resolved and now I can’t even access my own content without paying for it, I will be deleting the app.

Such a helpful app. Takes all the guesswork out of family meals. Easy prep and my four kids (and husband!) love the meals. Breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner are all planned without having to think. Short of having a personal chef, this is the biggest time (and money) saver for me.

Great tool. I have just started using this app and so far it has a lot of great features. The grocery list isn’t the most intuitive and doesn’t seem to combine items from different recipes.

This is a worthwhile app. There are lots of easy, tasty recipes that use everyday items I have on hand.

Helpful!. I’ve been using the free version off and on for a while and am dedicated to making more use of it as it is a great tool! I’ve recommended it to friends as well so we can share recipes and what we’re making on busy weeknights!

Love the logo. Excited to use this app as I have been a fan of the website for years. I hope apple will stop their horrible attack on all fruit shaped logos and back off their lawsuit. It makes them look like a nasty bully angry at others success. Not flattering apple.

Great App. Love Prepear. It has made meal planning and shopping so much easier. In less than 15 minutes, I can have dinner plans for the week and my shopping list.

Six sisters recipes. I have enjoyed this app. I follow the six sisters recipes. The recipes are simple to follow and they use ingredients that most people have in their pantry. I love the fact that you can decrease or increase the serving size and it will decrease/ increase the ingredients for you.

Love the app but..... The app is great but after 3 weeks of using it, it wont transfer the ingredients from my meal plan to my grocery list anymore, so i have to add them manually and its not time saving anymore, which is the purpose of why i got it. Please fix that! I dont wanna go back to paper lists that i will lose before my grocery trip!

Stopped working after one day. I like the idea, but it didn't work for me. A day after i started using it, the app logged me out and won't accept my password. The password isn't wrong, the app just doesn't do anything. Also some weird issues with usability. Like I put a recipe on the meal plan for a certain date, then when I tried to add it to the grocery list, it kept trying to add the recipe to today's date. It was annoying. Too bad, I wanted to like it.

Amazing! Awesome! Love It!. Wow! This app rocks! I’m a homeschool mom looking for healthy meal ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and this app has it all. It’s free!!! It’s so easy to use. All recipes have colorful pics, with easy step by step directions. It even helps you do a shopping list with ease. Absolutely amazing!

Life Changing. This is the difference between my family being able to count on regular meals or not! Love how it links to Walmart grocery pickup. Something that used to cause lots of heart ache, and so much time is accomplished in minutes!

Meal Planning Dream. Signed up for the Six Sisters meal planning and it's so easy! Shaved my weekly meal planning to about 10 minutes! All my recipes in one place. Exports my shopping list to my Walmart delivery app. The app let's you set reminders and alarms for things! No more forgetting to defrost the stupid chicken for dinner!

Love this App. This is a great app! I find it very helpful with our crazy schedules. I really like that you can have a week of meals planned out for you for a small monthly fee or you can do you own. My favorite is that it creates your grocery list for you and that you can keep track of what’s in you pantry. This is such a great app for busy families!

Love it!!. I love this app! I’m a pretty good cook. But I always cook the same meals because I don’t know any more recipes. I love the seemingly endless recipes I have at my fingertips even just on the free version. I love how this simple it is and that I can put in the ingredients I have and it’ll come up with meals I can make.

Best Meal Plan app ever!!. I am a huge fan of prepear!!!! I adore Mels Kitchen Cafe and all her recipes so it was about time I checked out this app that she is a part of. I can’t even believe it!!. I can’t believe that there’s a section you can add your favorite recipes from other websites (copy and paste the URL) and it adds it in recipe format and adds the ingredients to your shopping list if you add it to your meal plan!!!! Just that makes it worth it to me.

Helps me organize weekly meals for my family.. I really love Prepear. I am an aspiring home cook and before prepear I would find great recipes and not have a good organization for them. Not only can I search all the recipes in the app I also can add new ones to try. The ratings for individual recipes also help when I am making a dish.

All you need in one place!. I love this app! It has everything you need in one place...inspiration, recipes, shopping lists, etc. I love that when I add a recipe to my weekly meal plan it is there for me to use when I need it during the week, no more wasted time trying to remember what board it is pinned to. It is easy to use in all aspects!

Love being able to organize recipes. Easy to download online recipes and then have them organized where they are easy to find. Now, big project, inputting all my printed family recipes!

Makes My Life Better. I love the ability to plan for the week and then send my grocery list to Walmart for pickup. I am not a fan of grocery shopping, so this is totally worth the annual fee for me.

Good idea but glitchy. I love this app and the concept behind it but it’s constantly glitching. I have to close out of the app, it’s freezing, and it consistently erases my meal plan and then I’m stuck trying to rack my brain and remember what I had planned. It’s a good idea just wish it worked consistently.

Do it!!!!. This is such an amazing app! It takes a little getting used to but once you do it makes life so much easier! I follow superhealthykids and all of their recipes are actually pretty healthy and it makes it very easy to choose what to feed my family of all ages. There are even some baby recipes too!

Not any where on the web. It said you can get recipes any where on the web but when I tried to get them from a favorite site it can not import them. I have tried from sites I go to and then scrambled pears happens. Also I have logged into face book to invite my friends but none of my friends show up so I can not invite them. I think I just wasted my money on this app.

Update messed everything up. I now have to sign in every single time I open the app and it is crashing too often. I click on a recipe and only the photo shows. When I clear out the app and open it again, it brings up the recipe, as it should, AFTER I sign in again. It is a good app for meal prep, with a great database, but I’m hating the app right now

Grocery list. I’m Finding that I’m spending a lot of time resorting items in the grocery list into categories. Once an item assorted it should appear in the right category as well as similar types of items. The meal ideas is very helpful and coming up with recipes for the week

I love Prepear!. This app is awesome and helps me feel organized when I’m prepping meals for my family. I love everything about it. Totally worth the subscription! It has every feature you would want in a meal planning app and more.

Best meal planner/ recipe organizer out there. I use this app every week to plan my meals, create a grocery list and organize my recipes. Im a working mom and this has simplified my life more than anything else I have tried. I also love that I can upload family recipes with pictures, organize and share them. Try it, you will like it!

Loved until latest upgrade. This was an awesome do everything app but the last update made it so nothing works on iPhone. The website still works great but I don’t carry my laptop while shopping. The cookbooks, plan meals n shopping list all quit. Even logs me out every time I close the app, which it never did before. Very frustrating when I was a total fan n recommended it to all my friends.

Great meal planning app!. Easy to add recipes. Quick to plan. Loooove the grocery list feature—you can add by date so that all meals are included. Anytime you have a recipe open, it keeps your phone backlight on and prevents it from locking so you can easily follow the recipe through to the end.

Awesome App. I tend to be an extremely frugal person. But, I have been watching Katie‘s conscious kitchen for sometime. She has excellent vegetarian meals. I wanted further access so I joined her cooking club on the PrePear app. I love the app!!!! Is it it is extremely easy to use and simplifies my life. I’m so glad I Foust!!!!!

Best recipe app!!!. I have looked everywhere for a great recipe app and Prepear has nailed it!!! This app is easy to use and the recipes are amazing. If you’re looking for something quick and easy this app is for you. You can also filter your search to suit your dietary needs. Well thought out app. LOVE IT!!!!

Easy to use. It doesn’t take much to know how the app works, it is so easy to compile your recipes. You can use the app without constantly seeing ads and you can use this on a desktop!

Didn’t get what I paid for. I signed up for the gold membership, which is a pretty penny, but I was happy to do it. I liked the app during the trial and so I paid for the membership. But even though I was charged, and it is showing that I have an active subscription, the app does not recognize this. So there are ads everywhere, and none of the recipes have instructions. I reached out to their service them but never heard back. I’m very disappointed, and feel swindled.

So long. This was the BEST app - in the beginning. Now there is no way to realistically use it without subscribing. And that’s gonna cost you $120 a year! That’s just insane. I know, I know, you’re just looking out for the recipe developers. But they’ve got so many ads on their websites that it’s almost impossible to look at a recipe Sorry Prepear but you’re not the only kid on the block. I’m gonna be looking for another place to hang my apron.

User friendly. Great app. Tons of recipes and easy to search through. You can save easily into categories. Plus, easy to make a shopping list.

Finally a meal plan app that dad will use. I love this app. It has single handedly shaved 15 minutes of meal prep for me. Everything is in one location and it’s super smooth to navigate. But my wife may like it best because she no longer has to leave me hand written shopping lists and recipes.

Hey Apple?. Hey are you Apple? The logo looks so similar to a blind person that he/she can’t tell the difference? Guys I can’t believe you’re being sued over your distinct logo! It’s nothing like Apple’s logo. I subscribed to your app to help you fight this. I never used your app and never will but you need every penny to fight this injustice.

Great app for Dads who cook!. I do nearly all the cooking for my family of 8. I have my go-to meals but i go nearly insane trying to find creative things for my kids. My kids all have the app and send me their suggestions each week. It’s easy to turn that into a shopping list and make some great food. Highly recommend!

Does not work on iPads. The app used to work on iPads, but stopped! I reported the glitch months ago. No response! Now when I hit the feedback or comment section, it is an incorrect web link so there is no way to get help with this anymore! I have Aton of recipes saved in here and I’m struggling transferring them to a different app. DO NOT sUBSCRIBE! They are awful! I wish I could get my money back!

LOVE THIS APP!!. This system changed my life. I plan my meals and shopping on Saturdays. No more stress about what I’m making each night. No more running to the store for missing ingredients when I’m cooking. I have my saved recipes, I can search for anything, I can add new recipes! Spectacular!

Great meal planner. This app is reply great. Adding meals is super simple and the shopping list it generates is modifiable so when you go shopping you are not getting items you already own. I really see this as a free alternative to the boxed meal services like blue approx. It makes healthy eating simple and the Meals are really good.

New update ruined it. I love the functionality of Prepear and had begun to build an arsenal of recipes. I even got my mother and MIL on board so we could share things! Then suddenly the newest version requires you to buy a $70 subscription just to be able to read recipes in the app, which was one of the main draws. Feels like a terrible bait and switch. Bring back Prepear mode to the free version!

Great app!. I am in love with it - it makes the whole cooking process so easy - from the meal plan to the recipe to the grocery to an update to your own pantry - what would a working mother wants more! It is a great helper and everything is on your phone anywhere at any time. I am so happy that I know that such an app even exists. Please keep up the good work :)

Great way to make dinner awesome!!!. Knowing what to make for dinner is always stressful. This app has simplified dinner for our family. Dinner went from being a chore to something we really enjoy doing together as a family! Easy to plan, easy to shop, easy to cook!

Trademark. Apple bigwigs, you’re idiots if you think this app logo is in violation of your trademark terms. You should sue raspberry pi for having a leaf facing to the right too. You’re suing “Super Healthy Kids Inc.”, so clearly you have no regard for anything. This information is being widespread. Rock on PrePear!!!!

Worked and now won’t. I was really excited about this app and used it for two or three weeks and now I constantly have to log in. When in the pages won’t load. Sometimes I can see one page like the planner but if I switch to another screen, it’s blank. I wish it still worked because it was a great tool.

Nice app. I originally downloaded this app because the name aligned with a family joke for me, but it’s actually pretty decent. The UI’s clean, and the connection to Walmart’s online shopping is neat. The subscription is super over-the-top though.

My new love!. With a new food allergy it’s been quite the challenge. But being able to make a collection of true dairy-free options, it makes feeding the family less of a guessing game and even takes the stress off my little guy’s shoulder. Great job! Looking forward to our next meal! 😉

Great app especially auto grocery list!. I love this app! You can pull recipes from any website into it, and it formats it into ingredients and directions for you. After adding recipes to your weekly meal plan, you can click on grocery list, and there’s one list for everything you need that week in one spot! I love it!

Prepear rocks. The app does some really great things. For free. You can scroll all the wonderful recipes (with pictures) and create a meal plan in seconds, really. The fact that you can add recipes from the web - directly from the app- is super awesome.
